- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome in our number three. We are headed out to
- 0:05Speaker 1: Israel where the election right now is taking place.
- 0:11Speaker 2: It is 8 p.m. just after 8 p.m.
- 0:14Speaker 3: In Israel.
- 0:16Speaker 1: And we are joined now by Yael Eckstein, who is
- 0:19Speaker 1: going to give us a live update on that election
- 0:23Speaker 1: process that is underway. Yael is the president, CEO of
- 0:27Speaker 1: the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. OK, record high turnout.
- 0:33Speaker 1: It sounds like things are just in a frenzy there
- 0:37Speaker 1: in terms of the number of people headed to polls today.
- 0:40Speaker 1: For Americans who are not very well apprised of what
- 0:44Speaker 1: is taking place in Israel today, what should we know?
- 0:48Speaker 1: What are the stakes? Who are the candidates and what
- 0:51Speaker 1: are the expectations? Take us into the race.
- 0:54Speaker 3: OK, well, so nice to speak to you and appreciate
- 0:58Speaker 3: you having me with you today. Elections in Israel are
- 1:02Speaker 3: really interesting. It's actually the first time in over 35
- 1:06Speaker 3: years that the current government has served a full term,
- 1:09Speaker 3: which means that there hasn't been elections since before October 7th.
- 1:13Speaker 3: So these are really big elections. There are lots of
- 1:16Speaker 3: new parties on the right and the left and the center.
- 1:20Speaker 3: And Israel is, as you know, a parliamentary system. And
- 1:24Speaker 3: so in the Knesset, which is our parliament, There are
- 1:27Speaker 3: 120 seats, and whoever gets the most votes today will
- 1:31Speaker 3: try to put together a coalition. If they're not able to,
- 1:34Speaker 3: then we'll have either a minority government or the opposition
- 1:38Speaker 3: will have the opportunity to put together a government. But
- 1:41Speaker 3: according to all the polls, no one's going to be
- 1:44Speaker 3: able to put a coalition together, which means we might
- 1:46Speaker 3: be back at the voting station in a few months.
- 1:51Speaker 4: But I think we're going to see some surprises.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Okay, so.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Take us into that for a moment.
- 1:59Speaker 1: There are two leading candidates that everybody is focused on.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I was reading this morning, trying to familiarize myself with
- 2:06Speaker 1: this race, that there is not that much difference necessarily
- 2:12Speaker 1: in what the plans would be as it pertains to Gaza,
- 2:15Speaker 1: for instance, with this race going on. Is that true,
- 2:21Speaker 1: or do you think that this is somewhat similar to
- 2:24Speaker 1: the United States, where Democrats rush towards the middle and
- 2:28Speaker 1: claim that they are not actually that different in the
- 2:33Speaker 1: in the politics and in the policies.
- 2:35Speaker 2: But then they get into office and they're very different.
- 2:38Speaker 2: What do you expect?
- 2:39Speaker 1: What do Israeli voters think when it comes to the
- 2:42Speaker 1: two major candidates?
- 2:45Speaker 4: It's a really good point.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Outside of Israel, everyone's looking at the security situation, which
- 2:49Speaker 3: is a huge point of concern. It's one of the
- 2:52Speaker 3: most important things because for us here in Israel, it
- 2:55Speaker 3: is survival or God forbid, not. We have many enemies
- 3:00Speaker 3: who want to destroy us. We're a tiny country the
- 3:02Speaker 3: size of New Jersey surrounded by enemies. So security is
- 3:05Speaker 3: definitely top of mind for everyone here in Israel. And
- 3:08Speaker 3: like you said, both candidates are very strong on security
- 3:12Speaker 3: and recognize that. And so really what's on the minds
- 3:14Speaker 3: of Israelis as they vote today are many other things
- 3:17Speaker 3: like the education system in Israel that's getting weaker and weaker.
- 3:23Speaker 3: the ultra Orthodox that aren't necessarily contributing to army service.
- 3:27Speaker 3: And so those who aren't ultra Orthodox are doing extra
- 3:30Speaker 3: army service, extra miluim, which is reserve duty. And the
- 3:35Speaker 3: whole idea of strengthening the economy, strengthening society. And I'll
- 3:40Speaker 3: tell you what I see on the ground in Israel
- 3:42Speaker 3: actually is a brotherhood that is unshakable. Everywhere I go
- 3:47Speaker 3: and at the voting station, even today as I waited
- 3:50Speaker 3: in line for over half an hour, you see people
- 3:52Speaker 3: who are on the right, who are on the left,
- 3:54Speaker 3: who are religious or secular, and everyone is just talking
- 3:59Speaker 3: about the same thing that they want, a good future
- 4:01Speaker 3: for their child and their grandchildren. And so what I
- 4:04Speaker 3: really believe is that I have to vote.
- 4:07Speaker 4: I have to do my part.
- 4:07Speaker 3: And I think this is relevant in Israel, in America,
- 4:11Speaker 3: in Europe, and across the world. We have to do
- 4:13Speaker 3: our part, but we have to remember that God can
- 4:15Speaker 3: work miracles and wonders and bring blessings and through anyone
- 4:19Speaker 3: he wants. Sometimes the blessings and the scriptures have come
- 4:22Speaker 3: through the most unexpected people. We remember that King David's
- 4:26Speaker 3: lineage goes back to a prostitute.
- 4:28Speaker 4: You never would have thought that.
- 4:30Speaker 3: So I'm just in prayer that we'll have unity, in
- 4:34Speaker 3: prayer that we'll have holiness, light, joy, and of course,
- 4:40Speaker 3: peace that I believe is possible because God promised it
- 4:43Speaker 3: will happen.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Okay, so.
- 4:46Speaker 1: You said you might have to go back and vote again.
- 4:48Speaker 1: That's very different than what we're used to in the
- 4:51Speaker 1: United States when it comes to our elections. I know
- 4:54Speaker 1: when I was over there a couple of years ago
- 4:56Speaker 1: with you guys, I went to the Knesset. I met
- 4:59Speaker 1: with different people inside of that building. For people who
- 5:03Speaker 1: do not know how Israel's government is organized, can you
- 5:07Speaker 1: give us just a quick primer on that?
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think there were over 30 parties that
- 5:15Speaker 3: were in the election now. And they have to get over,
- 5:18Speaker 3: I believe it's 3.8% of votes in order to enter
- 5:21Speaker 3: the Knesset. So we'll have probably a maximum of 17
- 5:25Speaker 3: different parties who are part of the government that they
- 5:28Speaker 3: have to form the coalition and opposition. The idea of
- 5:31Speaker 3: this is that everyone is represented. Everyone in society has
- 5:36Speaker 3: representation in the government. And so in Israel, for example,
- 5:40Speaker 3: many people don't know this, but around 20% of our
- 5:43Speaker 3: population are Arab and they have full rights to vote,
- 5:47Speaker 3: full representation. And actually, they believe that the Arab party
- 5:51Speaker 3: in Israel that's going to be represented in the government
- 5:53Speaker 3: and always has might even be the kingmakers, meaning they
- 5:57Speaker 3: would be the difference if there's going to be able
- 5:59Speaker 3: to be a coalition formed or not. And so there
- 6:02Speaker 3: are many parties that the idea is that they have
- 6:06Speaker 3: to work together to represent everyone. And what I always
- 6:09Speaker 3: say that you see, especially in the elections here in Israel,
- 6:12Speaker 3: is Israel is good at a lot of things. We're
- 6:14Speaker 3: good at high tech. We're good at life-saving technology. We're
- 6:18Speaker 3: good at trip technology. We're not good at being the
- 6:21Speaker 3: apartheid that the world likes to accuse us of. We
- 6:25Speaker 3: have more Arabs here in Israel, tiny Israel, the size
- 6:29Speaker 3: of New Jersey, then there are Jews in the entire
- 6:32Speaker 3: Arab world and they have full right to vote representation.
- 6:35Speaker 3: So we are going to see, I believe, a lot
- 6:40Speaker 3: of surprises. And my prayer is actually that they'll all
- 6:44Speaker 3: be able to sit together, the right and the left,
- 6:47Speaker 3: representing all the people and they'll be able to find
- 6:50Speaker 3: common bond in this larger community. idea and reality that
- 6:55Speaker 3: we are in a war for our survival right now.
- 6:58Speaker 3: And when we are united, we're able to see miracles
- 7:02Speaker 3: and be a conduit for miracles and blessings to come through.
- 7:05Speaker 3: And when we're divided, even if it's for legitimate reasons,
- 7:07Speaker 3: it sets up the stage for destruction and hardship.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Is President Trump more popular than any current Israeli politician
- 7:17Speaker 1: in the country?
- 7:19Speaker 4: Definitely. People in Israel love President Trump.
- 7:23Speaker 1: So if he were on the ballot, if President Trump
- 7:25Speaker 1: obviously endorsed Benjamin Netanyahu. But this is this is one
- 7:29Speaker 1: of the things that really kind of jumped out to
- 7:31Speaker 1: me was. Democrats here, as you know, because you travel
- 7:34Speaker 1: back and forth quite a lot, have said, oh, President
- 7:37Speaker 1: Trump's a modern day Hitler. And you get to Israel
- 7:40Speaker 1: and Trump is more popular in Israel than he is
- 7:44Speaker 1: in Wyoming or West Virginia, which I think were the
- 7:47Speaker 1: two biggest Trump states in 2024. But just kind of
- 7:50Speaker 1: contextualize for people who might not know how popular is
- 7:54Speaker 1: President Trump among the people of Israel?
- 7:58Speaker 3: Well, President Trump is very popular among the people of Israel,
- 8:01Speaker 3: both right wing and left wing.
- 8:03Speaker 4: And I'll tell you why.
- 8:03Speaker 3: The reason why is because he recognizes the same threats
- 8:07Speaker 3: Israel faces are the threats that America faces. And it
- 8:11Speaker 3: was said after October 7th, Prime Minister Netanyahu said to
- 8:14Speaker 3: the president of Paris, of France, he said, if we
- 8:17Speaker 3: don't fight these terrorists here, they're going to end up
- 8:20Speaker 3: on your doorstep.
- 8:21Speaker 4: And we see what's happening there.
- 8:23Speaker 3: And President Trump realizes Oh, thank God you don't feel
- 8:27Speaker 3: it very intensely in America. And I pray you never will.
- 8:30Speaker 3: But if we don't stop radical Islam from spreading in
- 8:34Speaker 3: Israel and across the Middle East and across Europe, it
- 8:38Speaker 3: is going to get to America and it's ready starting.
- 8:41Speaker 3: And so I think the people of Israel actually appreciate
- 8:44Speaker 3: President Trump because he recognizes that very real threat and
- 8:49Speaker 3: is willing to take very hard, make very hard decisions
- 8:53Speaker 3: to in order to protect not just Israel, but the
- 8:57Speaker 3: American people from God forbid being in a similar situation
- 9:00Speaker 3: that Israel was after October 7th.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:04Speaker 1: So, uh, and we appreciate the time we're talking to
- 9:06Speaker 1: yell X team. She does fantastic work trying to help
- 9:09Speaker 1: ensure that people are safe and taken care of all
- 9:13Speaker 1: throughout Israel. Uh, and frankly around the world with the IFCJ.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Let me close with this for you. What is the
- 9:20Speaker 1: feeling on the ground in Israel? Um, When I was
- 9:23Speaker 1: there a couple of years ago, a great deal of trepidation.
- 9:26Speaker 1: The war really felt like it was still going on.
- 9:29Speaker 1: How do people feel today? We just had the three-year
- 9:32Speaker 1: anniversary of October 7th. I've been able to tour many
- 9:36Speaker 1: of those kibbutzes and the Nova Music Festival. It's a sobering,
- 9:41Speaker 1: incredible experience that I think, frankly, many people in America
- 9:46Speaker 1: should take the time to do because Israel is, in
- 9:49Speaker 1: my opinion, on the front-facing edge of Western civilization right now,
- 9:54Speaker 1: standing for basic Western civilization as we are seeing a
- 9:58Speaker 1: lot of it under siege in Europe. Europe and certainly
- 10:00Speaker 1: in the United States, too. What's the feeling on the
- 10:02Speaker 1: ground in Israel now and how has it changed? Hostages
- 10:06Speaker 1: are back over the last three years.
- 10:08Speaker 2: How would you assess it today?
- 10:11Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, I could tell you that we are just
- 10:13Speaker 3: a few days after huge terror attacks that took place
- 10:16Speaker 3: both in Israel and in Jordan, both on Jews and
- 10:19Speaker 3: on Christians. Last Friday, there were two Jewish people that
- 10:24Speaker 3: were killed in a terror attack in Israel. And on
- 10:27Speaker 3: that very same day, seven Christians were killed in Jordan
- 10:30Speaker 3: by terrorists as they were attending a funeral in a church.
- 10:34Speaker 3: And so in Israel, we are always so aware that
- 10:37Speaker 3: this darkness is They say themselves, first they're going for
- 10:41Speaker 3: the Saturday people and then the Sunday people. And so
- 10:44Speaker 3: the fellowship is helping persecuted Christians in Syria, in Lebanon,
- 10:48Speaker 3: in Jordan. We're building and strengthening the Christian communities in Israel,
- 10:53Speaker 3: in Jerusalem, in Nazareth. And the people on the ground
- 10:56Speaker 3: in Israel are holding both of those realities. On one hand,
- 10:59Speaker 3: a real desire for peace, a real desire three years
- 11:02Speaker 3: after October 7th to rebuild, to be resilient, to be strong,
- 11:07Speaker 3: to make this country better than ever before. but also
- 11:10Speaker 3: recognizing we are facing a real global risk of Islamist extremists,
- 11:16Speaker 3: Christians and Jews. And the most important thing right now
- 11:20Speaker 3: is to stand together as brothers and sisters to recognize
- 11:23Speaker 3: the threat, to stand in love and brotherhood, and to
- 11:26Speaker 3: make sure that we are building and paving the way
- 11:28Speaker 3: for a better future for our children and grandchildren.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Thank you, Yael.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Good luck with the election there. Hope everyone stays safe.
- 11:36Speaker 1: And we appreciate the report from On the Ground in Israel.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Thanks so much. God bless you.
- 11:43Speaker 1: That's Yael Eckstein of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And look, those results are going to be coming out
- 11:50Speaker 1: in the next couple of hours. I'm sure we will
- 11:51Speaker 1: talk about them some tomorrow as well on this program.

- 13:24Speaker 2: Welcome back in, Clay and Buck.
- 13:26Speaker 1: A bunch of talkbacks pouring in, as one might imagine.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Many different topics under the sun. I couldn't hear earlier.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Buck played this one. I think they wanted to get
- 13:36Speaker 1: me to react. This was talkback seed.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Buck, don't feel too bad, man.
- 13:43Speaker 3: I'm not some fluty Yankee that eats a pistachio custard,
- 13:47Speaker 3: and I've.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Still never been to Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse.
- 13:51Speaker 1: As much as Clay likes TNA, I'm surprised he hadn't
- 13:54Speaker 1: mentioned Hooters.
- 13:55Speaker 4: He seems like a Hooters guy to me, which I've
- 13:57Speaker 4: only been there once in my life.
- 14:00Speaker 2: You know.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm not a big, this is going to be blasphemy,
- 14:04Speaker 1: not a big Hooters guy, the restaurant. I just am not,
- 14:09Speaker 1: I don't think the food's that good. I've been there.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I don't mind the scantily clad waitresses. I actually prefer,
- 14:18Speaker 1: in the restaurant category, Twin Peaks. I think Twin Peaks
- 14:23Speaker 1: has colder beer, more updated decor, a little bit higher
- 14:28Speaker 1: end than Hooters. Again, not trying to cast dispersions on Hooters,
- 14:33Speaker 1: but I think their competitor... This is real, if you
- 14:35Speaker 1: don't believe me. Their competitor is called Twin Peaks. And
- 14:40Speaker 1: since we're talking about it, I was laughing the other day.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Has anybody ever thought this is a perfect topic for Buck?
- 14:48Speaker 1: Buck leaves, he goes to pick up his Tesla, and
- 14:50Speaker 1: next thing you know, he's in a car trying to
- 14:52Speaker 1: listen to the show, and he's like, oh no, Clay's
- 14:54Speaker 1: going to get us canceled.
- 14:57Speaker 2: Would we still call.
- 14:58Speaker 1: the mountain range, the Grand Tetons, if it wasn't in French,
- 15:04Speaker 1: if some guy had just called them Big Boobs.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Wouldn't we have changed the name at some point in time?
- 15:11Speaker 1: But because it's French, people are like, oh, the majestic
- 15:14Speaker 1: Grand Tetons, it's just Big Boobs in French. The kind
- 15:18Speaker 1: of thing that I was sitting around thinking about legitimately
- 15:21Speaker 1: the other day because there was an animal attack in
- 15:23Speaker 1: the Grand Tetons, Grand Tetons.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Just the big boobs.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I don't know that we would still call the mountains.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I do love that there was some French explorer. First
- 15:32Speaker 1: time he's ever gazed off into the majestic distance. And
- 15:36Speaker 1: he was like, they just look like a couple of
- 15:38Speaker 1: big boobs. That's what we'll call them.
- 15:40Speaker 2: There you go. This is the kind of thing I
- 15:41Speaker 2: think about. We got a bunch of talkbacks, by the way.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Let's see. Will in New York, 710 WOR.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Listen.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Clay, why are you surprised that Buck has never been
- 15:51Speaker 3: to a Texas roadhouse?
- 15:53Speaker 2: The boy grew up in Manhattan.
- 15:55Speaker 6: He's used to fine dining, you know.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I get it, but there are chain restaurants in New
- 16:00Speaker 1: York City. I've been to them. I've been to, I'm
- 16:04Speaker 1: not sure this is something to brag about. I've been to,
- 16:06Speaker 1: they have huge chain restaurants in Times Square. I've been
- 16:10Speaker 1: into a bunch of them. See, I'm a chain restaurant guy. Now,
- 16:13Speaker 1: podcast listener Chris, he's wrong, but here he is, cut F.
- 16:17Speaker 1: The best restaurant you could go in and sit down
- 16:19Speaker 1: and eat at was Boston Market.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Their mac and cheese was incredible.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And yes, I already voted better American than 90% of
- 16:27Speaker 1: the people listening right now. Go Bucs. Well, I'm glad
- 16:31Speaker 1: Go Bucs, the Milwaukee Bucs, I'm guessing. Go Bucs, probably
- 16:35Speaker 1: Ohio State. I was thinking Brewers.
- 16:37Speaker 2: But he's right about voting, wrong about Boston Market. It's okay.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I think most of those have closed. Very solid. But
- 16:46Speaker 1: I think the best you can go into and sit
- 16:49Speaker 1: down restaurant is Chick-fil-A, clearly.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And let's see.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Jason from Missouri, podcast listener E, we'll listen to him
- 16:57Speaker 1: as well.
- 16:57Speaker 6: How in the world did you guys go straight from
- 17:01Speaker 6: talking to politics to chain restaurants?
- 17:05Speaker 2: That's unbelievable. And you guys kept talking about it.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I love it.
- 17:09Speaker 6: That's why I love the show so much.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Such a random couple people talking.
- 17:13Speaker 7: Love you guys.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Wide range. We have a wide range here.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I just went from discussing the Israeli political situation with
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yael Eckstein and terror attacks to coming back and telling
- 17:24Speaker 1: you why Texas Roadhouse is the best of all the
- 17:27Speaker 1: chain restaurants. And of course, this all started because Barack
- 17:30Speaker 1: Obama tried to make a Cheesecake Factory joke, and I
- 17:33Speaker 1: think it landed flat. And we will continue to take
- 17:38Speaker 1: your talkbacks, and I'm going to dive into... the absolute
- 17:42Speaker 1: latest data on the midterms one week out and tell
- 17:46Speaker 1: you where I think we are across the battleground states.
- 17:49Speaker 2: That is next.
- 17:50Speaker 1: But first, I want to tell you, if you don't
- 17:52Speaker 1: want to go to a chain restaurant because you love
- 17:55Speaker 1: to eat great, fantastic steaks at home, you can get

- 18:43Speaker 2: Off anything, anything on the whole menu.
- 18:46Speaker 1: If you go to GoodRanchers.com slash Clay, that's GoodRanchers.com slash
- 18:52Speaker 1: Clay for 50 bucks off.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Anything on the site.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Welcome back in Clay and Buck. Buck has run out
- 19:00Speaker 1: to go pick up his Tesla. President Trump on his
- 19:03Speaker 1: way to Texas. As I told you earlier, the Trump
- 19:07Speaker 1: team wanted everyone to know Johnny Manziel is going to
- 19:10Speaker 1: be with him in Corpus Christi and that Danny Amendola
- 19:14Speaker 1: is going to be with him in Lubbock. They wanted
- 19:17Speaker 1: everybody to know that they were not bringing an Aggie
- 19:20Speaker 1: to Lubbock, which is Red Raiderville. For those of you
- 19:24Speaker 1: out there that are not diehard college football fans, that
- 19:27Speaker 1: is something that matters a great deal in the state
- 19:31Speaker 1: of Texas as President Trump prepares for rallies in that state.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I told you that I was going to let you
- 19:37Speaker 1: know the absolute latest data on the ground right now
- 19:43Speaker 1: across the country. So over 33 million of you have
- 19:49Speaker 1: early voted. We are hearing from tons of you that
- 19:52Speaker 1: my shaming of you has worked. Lots of Republicans getting
- 19:56Speaker 1: out and voting early. Now, some of you are saying, Clay,
- 19:58Speaker 1: I want to wait till Election Day.
- 19:59Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 20:00Speaker 1: My concern is there are millions of people every year
- 20:05Speaker 1: who say, I'm going to wait till Election Day. And
- 20:08Speaker 1: then something happens on Election Day such that your ballot
- 20:12Speaker 1: doesn't actually get in.
- 20:14Speaker 2: A kid gets sick.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I just got a phone call from my son at
- 20:19Speaker 1: school because mom's not answering her phone that I had
- 20:24Speaker 1: to say, yes, he can come home because he's sick.
- 20:27Speaker 1: That's the important role the dad has here. Probably, to
- 20:30Speaker 1: be fair, I bet he called dad faster than he
- 20:34Speaker 1: called mom because I tend to say yes more frequently, candidly,
- 20:39Speaker 1: than mom does. So that is the reality. But I
- 20:44Speaker 1: got a phone call from a sick kid. I bet
- 20:47Speaker 1: a lot of you, kids, grandkids, there's a lot of
- 20:51Speaker 1: things out there that suddenly come up you can't Wake
- 20:54Speaker 1: up early in the morning, the phone is ringing, your
- 20:57Speaker 1: son or daughter is saying, grandma, grandpa, hey, can you
- 21:01Speaker 1: help with this? Aunt, uncle, cousins, get your votes in
- 21:06Speaker 1: when you have the ability to do it. I said yesterday,
- 21:08Speaker 1: you can drive by, you can do what I did.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I saw there was no wait at all. Took me
- 21:13Speaker 1: five minutes to get my ballot done. If there had
- 21:15Speaker 1: been a 30 or 45 minute wait, I would have
- 21:18Speaker 1: just come back another day. That's the advantage that you
- 21:21Speaker 1: have out there.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Thirty three million people have voted.
- 21:25Speaker 1: OK, this is a significant impact out there to get
- 21:31Speaker 1: your votes in. And again, the numbers are nearly identical.
- 21:37Speaker 1: So no more talking on this program about the polls
- 21:40Speaker 1: because once people start voting, there is no more excuses
- 21:45Speaker 1: out there. The polls don't matter. What matters is the
- 21:48Speaker 1: number of people voting. Now, you guys know I hate
- 21:50Speaker 1: to throw people under the bus. Producer Allie promised yesterday
- 21:54Speaker 1: that she was going to go vote. She did not
- 21:56Speaker 1: actually vote. Why did she not vote? The poll wasn't
- 22:00Speaker 1: open late enough for her. She promises that she's going
- 22:02Speaker 1: to go vote today.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Do we believe her? I don't know.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Okay, let me hit you with some actual data on
- 22:08Speaker 1: the ground at this point in time. Maine, these are
- 22:11Speaker 1: battleground states that I'm going to share with you. Maine,
- 22:15Speaker 1: virtually identical numbers to 2022. There is no blue wave.
- 22:23Speaker 1: in the early voting in Maine at all. We talked
- 22:27Speaker 1: earlier with Roger Marshall, Senator from Kansas, and he was
- 22:33Speaker 1: referring to what's going on in Kansas. Right now, there
- 22:37Speaker 1: are about 12,000 more Democrats that have voted in 20,
- 22:43Speaker 1: there's a 12,000 magnitude Democrat lead in Kansas right now. OK,
- 22:48Speaker 1: that is up about 12000 compared to where we were
- 22:53Speaker 1: last time in 2022. OK, Republicans in Kansas, listen to me.
- 22:59Speaker 1: You guys need to get out and vote early. OK,
- 23:02Speaker 1: that is a battleground somewhat state where Democrats are overperforming.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Let me give you a positive one. Arizona.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Arizona Republicans are doing 32,000 votes better right now in
- 23:15Speaker 1: Arizona than they were in 2022. Back in 2022, Democrats
- 23:18Speaker 1: had a 25,000 vote advantage. Right now, Republicans have a
- 23:20Speaker 1: 7,000 vote advantage. 32,000 votes swing in favor of Republicans. Okay.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Florida.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I want you all to listen to me carefully in Florida. Now,
- 23:44Speaker 1: Ron DeSantis won a 20-point victory in 2022. Florida, we
- 23:51Speaker 1: got a red wave in 2022. We did not get
- 23:56Speaker 1: this everywhere the rest of the country. Florida is rapidly
- 24:01Speaker 1: approaching the same level of Republican support that we got
- 24:05Speaker 1: in 2022.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Y'all are showing up.
- 24:08Speaker 1: In Florida in big numbers, but you need to go
- 24:11Speaker 1: ahead and drive those numbers up higher. Again, this is
- 24:15Speaker 1: actual data on the ground what is taking place. Those
- 24:19Speaker 1: are all positives. I said, hey, let me give you
- 24:23Speaker 1: a couple where I'm a little bit more nervous. Nebraska,
- 24:27Speaker 1: very similar to last year's voting patterns. If you're listening
- 24:31Speaker 1: to me in Nebraska, last year at this time, Republicans
- 24:34Speaker 1: had a 9,000 vote advantage. This time, Republicans have a
- 24:40Speaker 1: 2,000-vote advantage. We need you guys in Nebraska. Get out
- 24:44Speaker 1: and vote. These are the battleground places. North Carolina. This
- 24:49Speaker 1: point in time in 2022, Democrats had a 100,000-vote advantage.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Right now, Democrats have a 300,000-vote advantage.
- 24:53Speaker 7: Okay?
- 24:53Speaker 1: So listen to me in North Carolina right now. This
- 25:06Speaker 1: is real, on-the-ground data. North Carolina is the state that
- 25:12Speaker 1: Republicans are doing the worst in in the entire nation
- 25:17Speaker 1: that is a battleground.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Okay?
- 25:20Speaker 1: I need North Carolina. I need you all to wake up.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I need you to get out and vote. This is
- 25:26Speaker 1: the place where there is an opportunity for Democrats to
- 25:33Speaker 1: run up the score Let me give you a positive.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Pennsylvania.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I'm not even hearing a lot of people talk about
- 25:41Speaker 1: Pennsylvania in earnest. Democrats are doing substantially worse right now
- 25:47Speaker 1: in Pennsylvania in the early voting than they did in
- 25:50Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. Right now, there are about seventy six
- 25:54Speaker 1: thousand more Republicans who have voted early in Pennsylvania than
- 25:59Speaker 1: voted early in twenty twenty two. So when I give
- 26:02Speaker 1: you all this data, I just want to give you
- 26:05Speaker 1: the actual numbers on the ground right now. What are
- 26:09Speaker 1: people actually doing? Not are what all these people who
- 26:12Speaker 1: are being paid to create polls that give people a
- 26:17Speaker 1: result that they want to have. What is the actual
- 26:20Speaker 1: data reflecting? And I'm trying to do my part. I
- 26:24Speaker 1: am going to be out tonight for a rally with
- 26:29Speaker 1: Marsha Blackburn. I am introducing Senator Blackburn, the next governor,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I believe, of Tennessee, tonight in Hendersonville, Tennessee. You just
- 26:40Speaker 1: heard me earlier in the program. Buck and I had
- 26:44Speaker 1: Ennis Cantor Freedom. He's going to be there speaking as well.
- 26:48Speaker 1: We're going to have a couple of future congressmen, maybe.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Maybe a future senator as well. A little bit of
- 26:55Speaker 1: a hint there. And it's going to be great. So
- 26:58Speaker 1: if you're in the Nashville area, Hendersonville Christian Academy tonight, uh,
- 27:04Speaker 1: doors open at 6 PM. Uh, and we're going to
- 27:08Speaker 1: have a big crowd. I want you guys to show
- 27:10Speaker 1: up to one of the final rallies of the midterms
- 27:13Speaker 1: here in my home state of Tennessee. I'm going to
- 27:16Speaker 1: be speaking on behalf of Senator Marsha Blackburn, who I
- 27:19Speaker 1: believe will be elected governor one week from today. So
- 27:23Speaker 1: all of that is, uh, is something that you should
- 27:27Speaker 1: keep in mind. Now, uh, If you're out there and
- 27:31Speaker 1: you're saying, OK, well, Clay, give me a little bit
- 27:34Speaker 1: of more motivation. Here is the Florida Senate candidate. She
- 27:38Speaker 1: is a Democrat socialist. Last night, CBS News did an
- 27:42Speaker 1: interview that they posted with her. They asked, is Cuba
- 27:47Speaker 1: a dictatorship? Now, listen, I do not claim to be
- 27:51Speaker 1: an expert on all issues of foreign affairs. But I
- 27:56Speaker 1: think like most of you, if I were asked, hey,
- 27:59Speaker 1: is Cuba a dictatorship?
- 28:02Speaker 2: I feel pretty confident I would answer yes. In fact,
- 28:05Speaker 2: I know I would. And I'm not running for the
- 28:07Speaker 2: Senate in Florida where there is.
- 28:09Speaker 1: A huge Cuban population that of people that can say, yes, yes,
- 28:15Speaker 1: trust us, it is 100% a communist dictatorship. Yet Angie
- 28:21Speaker 1: Nixon was asked this yesterday by CBS News.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Listen to her answer. Do you consider that Cuba is
- 28:29Speaker 2: a dictatorship?
- 28:30Speaker 7: You know, that is what people have told me. I
- 28:33Speaker 7: have never been to Cuba, and so I will have
- 28:35Speaker 7: to take their word for it. And I know you're
- 28:37Speaker 7: going to go into this. Where do I how do
- 28:39Speaker 7: I feel things need to be handled with Cuban relations
- 28:43Speaker 7: right now? These decades long failed embargo has yet to
- 28:48Speaker 7: change over the regime.
- 28:50Speaker 2: OK.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Is Cuba a dictatorship? I wouldn't even have thought to
- 28:55Speaker 1: ask a question that basic. I guess CBS News, maybe
- 28:59Speaker 1: they knew that she's been refusing to say that it's
- 29:01Speaker 1: a dictatorship. Her response was, that's what people have told me.
- 29:07Speaker 1: I have never been to Cuba, so I'll have to
- 29:09Speaker 1: take their word for it. Is the moon located in space,
- 29:15Speaker 1: Angie Nixon? Well, I've never been to the moon, so
- 29:19Speaker 1: I'm going to have to take their word for it.
- 29:23Speaker 1: You don't have to go to a place to be
- 29:26Speaker 1: able to say, yeah, it's a dictatorship. Especially when you're
- 29:32Speaker 1: already in Florida. And from Key West to Havana is
- 29:36Speaker 1: something like 90 miles.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I think most.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Floridians are pretty well informed over the last 50 years
- 29:43Speaker 1: or so, yeah, Cuba's a dictatorship. And I also don't
- 29:47Speaker 1: know that my response would be, and we've been too
- 29:50Speaker 1: mean to Cuba, and therefore that's the reason why things
- 29:55Speaker 1: are going poorly in Cuba. No, things are going poorly
- 29:59Speaker 1: in Cuba because communism ultimately destroys the quality of life
- 30:04Speaker 1: of everybody except for the people that happen to be
- 30:08Speaker 1: fortunate enough to be a part of the hierarchy running
- 30:12Speaker 1: the country. They tend to live really well and be
- 30:16Speaker 1: able to afford lots of things that normal people can't. Cuba,
- 30:20Speaker 1: almost overnight, would become a jewel of the Caribbean if
- 30:26Speaker 1: it were allowed to pursue capitalistic policies.
- 30:28Speaker 2: That's just the truth.
- 30:30Speaker 1: If you've ever been on a cruise ship, chances are
- 30:33Speaker 1: if you go look at the map, all you did
- 30:36Speaker 1: was just circle Cuba when you visited the Western Caribbean.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not even kidding. I remember being on
- 30:43Speaker 1: a cruise ship. I went on a Disney cruise. Side note,
- 30:48Speaker 1: Disney cruise with three kids, who were like seven, four,
- 30:53Speaker 1: and two, or whatever the heck my kids' ages were,
- 30:56Speaker 1: all five of us in a tiny little cabin, spending
- 30:59Speaker 1: tons of money. Not the ideal vacation for grown adults.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Just going to put it out there. Disney Cruise, great
- 31:06Speaker 1: for the kids. Not the greatest way to spend that
- 31:09Speaker 1: much money. But on the balcony of my tiny prison-like
- 31:16Speaker 1: cell that I was staying in with my three little
- 31:18Speaker 1: kids and my wife, as we went around Cuba, We
- 31:22Speaker 1: got so close to Havana that you could stand on
- 31:26Speaker 1: the balcony and see all of the buildings of Cuba.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Every one of those cruise companies would just start going
- 31:34Speaker 1: to Cuba. They'd probably bring back the fast boats between
- 31:38Speaker 1: Key West and Havana.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Remember, Havana.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Was the Las Vegas before Las Vegas existed. I think
- 31:48Speaker 1: it would change in a heartbeat. I think it would
- 31:50Speaker 1: be an amazing place. Speaking of amazing places, the state
- 31:53Speaker 1: of Florida, not a bad place to be. And that's
- 31:55Speaker 1: where Hard Rock Bet is based. And I had a
- 31:58Speaker 1: brutal week in NFL gambling. I took a lot on
- 32:02Speaker 1: the chin. I did not do well. However, I am
- 32:05Speaker 1: very confident in my college football picks. And this is
- 32:09Speaker 1: going to upset some of you in.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Ohio right now.
- 32:12Speaker 1: But I love USC this Saturday on Halloween weekend. To
- 32:17Speaker 1: cover the seven points against Ohio State. Buckeyes are going
- 32:21Speaker 1: to come out and they're going to take over the Coliseum.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Lincoln Riley's Trojans, however, are going to fight like the Dickens.
- 32:30Speaker 1: And unlike the men of Troy, who were eventually overrun,
- 32:35Speaker 1: they are going to stand their ground. And they are
- 32:37Speaker 1: going to, I think, outright beat Ohio State. But you
- 32:40Speaker 1: get seven points. You will see my lovely picture inside
- 32:45Speaker 1: of the Hard Rock Bet app. You can play in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan,
- 32:50Speaker 1: New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia. It's the only legal
- 32:54Speaker 1: sportsbook in all of Florida. So if you're going to
- 32:57Speaker 1: be going to Universal Studios, if you're going to be
- 32:59Speaker 1: going to Disney World, if you're going to be getting
- 33:01Speaker 1: into one of those prison-like rooms on the Disney Cruise
- 33:04Speaker 1: ship with all of your kids packed in like sardines
- 33:07Speaker 1: into a tiny room, you may want to be able
- 33:09Speaker 1: to bet on sports while you do it. And you
- 33:12Speaker 1: can do it if you go to hardrock.bet slash clay,
- 33:15Speaker 1: where if you bet $ 5, they will give you $ 500
- 33:17Speaker 1: in bonus bets if you are a new user. That
- 33:22Speaker 1: is hardrock.bet slash clay. One more time, hardrock.bet slash clay.

- 33:59Speaker 6: and saving the country one liberal at a time.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Welcome back in.
- 34:05Speaker 1: If you need to wipe out your credit card debt,
- 34:08Speaker 1: if you need to wipe out your personal loan, you
- 34:11Speaker 1: give my guys that perfect 10 mortgage.
- 34:13Speaker 2: 10 minutes.
- 34:15Speaker 1: And in as little as 10 days, they can wipe
- 34:18Speaker 1: out all of your debts and give you a brand
- 34:21Speaker 1: new mortgage based on the equity that you already have
- 34:24Speaker 1: in your home. That is Perfect10Mortgage. com. Perfect 10 Mortgage, just
- 34:29Speaker 1: like Nadia Comaneci. Perfect10Mortgage. com. I believe we have a crazy
- 34:36Speaker 1: trans activist who is upset that people are dressing up
- 34:40Speaker 1: as Harry Potter characters for Halloween.
- 34:44Speaker 7: Play it.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I want to make myself abundantly clear in expressing my
- 34:48Speaker 2: own personal views here.
- 34:50Speaker 4: If you are thinking.
- 34:51Speaker 2: About what costume to buy for this Halloween, please know
- 34:54Speaker 2: that if you put on a Harry Potter costume, you
- 34:56Speaker 2: are not an ally to the trans community.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I might have to dress up as a Harry Potter character.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I got to be honest with you. That makes me
- 35:06Speaker 1: support J.K.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Rowling more.
- 35:09Speaker 1: That makes me support the Harry Potter universe more. Pretty cool,
- 35:12Speaker 1: by the way, Harry Potter world. at Universal Studios. That's
- 35:16Speaker 1: a positive parenting experience, not being imprisoned on a Disney cruise.
- 35:22Speaker 2: By the way, when they tell you on.
- 35:23Speaker 1: A Disney cruise that the cruise can't actually dock because
- 35:27Speaker 1: seas are too rough and you have to stay on
- 35:29Speaker 1: the boat for three more days, I would have paid
- 35:32Speaker 1: to get helicoptered off at that point. Cruises to me
- 35:36Speaker 1: are often like floating prisons if you can't actually get off.
- 35:40Speaker 2: John in Florida, I'm going to try to get to
- 35:42Speaker 2: a bunch of you. Go fast.
- 35:46Speaker 6: Restaurants, Longhorns, Carrabba's, and Bonefish.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Oh, those are good. Longhorns Steakhouse, great restaurant.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Carrabba's, good Italian restaurant.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Solid choices there. Charles in Kentucky.
- 36:02Speaker 6: Who?
- 36:04Speaker 2: Are you in Kentucky? Just talk.
- 36:06Speaker 7: Yes, I am.
- 36:08Speaker 5: Yes, I am.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Okay, there are millions of people listening.
- 36:13Speaker 5: All right, I'm sorry. Yes, I'm in Kentucky. Kent Taylor
- 36:16Speaker 5: was the founder, or he founded the Texas Roadhouse in Kentucky,
- 36:23Speaker 5: and he was the main person here. Kent, he was
- 36:29Speaker 5: a hell of an athlete. He was actually a track runner,
- 36:32Speaker 5: and so was I.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Did you know him?
- 36:37Speaker 5: Yes, I knew him. I've been with him several different times.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Well, we're coming up on the end of the show.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Tell him that I love his restaurant, and he has
- 36:46Speaker 1: created the best value restaurant anywhere, this Texas Roadhouse.
- 36:50Speaker 2: I love it. It's amazing. We'll be back tomorrow with
- 36:53Speaker 2: more with all y'all.
