- 1:11Speaker 3: other accountable and we love the lord and love one
- 1:17Speaker 3: another as he commands us to do today We are
- 1:21Speaker 3: continuing in Jeremiah chapter 19. So grab your Bibles, your
- 1:26Speaker 3: notepads and your highlighters. We're going to pick up at
- 1:30Speaker 3: verse 10 and we're going to go from 10 to 15.
- 1:33Speaker 3: And that is going to complete chapter 19. I cannot
- 1:36Speaker 3: believe we are almost done. We're going through this book
- 1:41Speaker 3: and this is one of the bigger books. They call it,
- 1:44Speaker 3: they consider it a major prophet. They got major prophets
- 1:48Speaker 3: and minor prophets in the Old Testament and And that's
- 1:51Speaker 3: only because of the size of their books. And so
- 1:55Speaker 3: if you've been following with us from day one, give
- 1:58Speaker 3: yourself a hand clap because this is quite an accomplishment
- 2:03Speaker 3: to go through these books together. So today we're going
- 2:08Speaker 3: to talk about, well, actually yesterday we saw why God's
- 2:17Speaker 3: judgment was coming against Judah. They had forsaken God. They
- 2:22Speaker 3: didn't just simply make a mistake. No, they turned to
- 2:26Speaker 3: idolatry and repeatedly rejected his warnings. Just straight out. They
- 2:33Speaker 3: just said they're going to follow the evil dictates of
- 2:35Speaker 3: our own hearts.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Right?
- 2:39Speaker 3: That sounds like Satan worship to me, right? You're deliberate
- 2:45Speaker 3: on your actions and what you're doing. And so now
- 2:48Speaker 3: Jeremiah says, Is going to take that potter's bottle. And
- 2:53Speaker 3: he's going to break it. The guy uses. That broken bottle.
- 2:58Speaker 3: As a picture. Of what was about to happen. To
- 3:02Speaker 3: the city of Jerusalem. So this is going to be.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Another difficult passage. But there is an important lesson. That
- 3:12Speaker 3: we're going to get out of it. And we should understand.
- 3:16Speaker 3: That we should never. Mistake. God's patience for his approval.
- 3:24Speaker 3: That is a deadly mistake. And hopefully you're listening to
- 3:34Speaker 3: this podcast and you will avoid it at all costs
- 3:38Speaker 3: and that I will avoid it at all costs. Amen.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Let's go before Father. Hello, Heavenly Father. We thank you
- 3:47Speaker 3: for another day, another opportunity, another beautiful day that you've made.
- 3:52Speaker 3: We will rejoice and be glad in it. We ask, Lord,
- 3:56Speaker 3: that you go before us. Lord, you know the battles
- 3:58Speaker 3: that are ahead. You know the struggles that we face.
- 4:01Speaker 3: We ask for breakthrough in every area, breakthrough in our finances,
- 4:06Speaker 3: breakthrough in our marriages, breakthrough with our children, our parenting, breakthrough,
- 4:12Speaker 3: oh God, in our legacy, the generation that comes behind us. Breakthrough, Lord,
- 4:17Speaker 3: we want to see our family members saved, healed, delivered,
- 4:21Speaker 3: living blessed lives. Oh, Lord, and we ask that you
- 4:24Speaker 3: prepare us for the day that you return, Lord, that
- 4:28Speaker 3: we will not be caught unawares or that we will
- 4:31Speaker 3: not be ashamed, but let us be intentional. Help us
- 4:35Speaker 3: to fast and pray. We ask for your grace. And
- 4:39Speaker 3: we ask that you would just touch this podcast. Lord,
- 4:42Speaker 3: let it be anointed. Let it be blessed in your name.
- 4:45Speaker 3: We ask this in Jesus name. Amen. All right, family,
- 4:53Speaker 3: let's go from verse 10 in verse 11. Let's tackle
- 5:00Speaker 3: two verses right now. Then you shall break the flask
- 5:06Speaker 3: in the sight. of the men who go with you
- 5:10Speaker 3: and say to them thus says the Lord of hosts
- 5:14Speaker 3: even so I will break this people and this city
- 5:20Speaker 3: as one breaks a bottle's vessel which cannot be made
- 5:25Speaker 3: whole again and they shall bury them in tafet till
- 5:32Speaker 3: there is no place to bury Wow, now this is
- 5:39Speaker 3: very different from the potter's vessel. Man. All right, so
- 5:50Speaker 3: God tells Jeremiah to take the bottle he had purchased
- 5:56Speaker 3: and break it in the sight of the men who
- 5:59Speaker 3: had gone with him. I can imagine being one of
- 6:04Speaker 3: these men. I would have repented right then and there.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Like what? Then God gives Jeremiah the message behind it,
- 6:14Speaker 3: the object lesson. He says, even so will I break
- 6:18Speaker 3: this people and this city. That's a powerful change from
- 6:24Speaker 3: chapter 18. Now let's understand the character of God right here.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Do you see the United States in this message? I
- 6:38Speaker 3: have a heart for this country. I know that this
- 6:43Speaker 3: country has had its problems with prejudice and this country
- 6:48Speaker 3: has done some crazy things throughout the world. I'm not
- 6:52Speaker 3: blind to that. But the simple fact that we have
- 6:56Speaker 3: the freedom to worship God in this country. Other countries
- 7:00Speaker 3: do not. have the freedoms that we take for granted
- 7:04Speaker 3: and are slowly losing. Once this antichrist system, this beast
- 7:12Speaker 3: system comes into full effect, you can say goodbye to
- 7:17Speaker 3: the freedoms and the liberties that we have enjoyed and
- 7:21Speaker 3: taken from granted. There's no doubt that the fingerprint of
- 7:26Speaker 3: God is on this nation. There's been waves of revival,
- 7:31Speaker 3: waves of movements of God in this nation. This nation
- 7:36Speaker 3: has reached the world with the gospel. And so it
- 7:41Speaker 3: is heartbreaking to see the United States of America turn
- 7:46Speaker 3: away from God and turn to darkness. And I pray
- 7:49Speaker 3: that we will not get to the place where we
- 7:53Speaker 3: will be a broken bottle in the hands of our father.
- 7:56Speaker 3: We don't want that. Let us take heed to the
- 8:02Speaker 3: warning now and repent and turn back to him. Now,
- 8:09Speaker 3: the reason why this is different from the clay, because
- 8:13Speaker 3: the clay could be reshaped. But now we're looking at
- 8:18Speaker 3: a hardened vessel that has to be broken. Once you
- 8:23Speaker 3: become hard, once you harden your heart against God, there
- 8:28Speaker 3: is no choice. The broken bottle has a prophetic symbol
- 8:36Speaker 3: behind it. The bottle represented Judah's hardened hearts, their hardened
- 8:41Speaker 3: condition in the coming destruction of Jerusalem. Unlike soft clay
- 8:48Speaker 3: that can be reshaped, a hardened vessel that is broken
- 8:53Speaker 3: cannot simply be put back together in its former condition.
- 9:02Speaker 3: That is a warning for all of us. Don't allow
- 9:05Speaker 3: your heart to become hardened. Amen. That's the last thing
- 9:12Speaker 3: you want is to harden your heart against the gospel
- 9:15Speaker 3: of Jesus Christ. Every time God corrects you and you
- 9:19Speaker 3: ignore him, you become a little more comfortable ignoring him.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Just think about it. That is scary. Every time you
- 9:28Speaker 3: compromise and justify it, it becomes easier to compromise again
- 9:33Speaker 3: and again. And I've gone down this path. This has
- 9:39Speaker 3: been me. I know this to be true. Every time
- 9:45Speaker 3: you hear the truth and refuse to respond, you risk
- 9:49Speaker 3: becoming less sensitive to the truth. That is so scary.
- 9:55Speaker 3: That is terrifying and dangerous. Dangerous and hazardous to our
- 10:01Speaker 3: own souls. So when God puts his finger on something
- 10:06Speaker 3: in your life, don't say, I'll deal with it later.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Deal with it right here and right now.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Amen.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Amen. Verse 11. And say to them. Thus says the
- 10:29Speaker 3: Lord of hosts. Even so, I will break this people
- 10:36Speaker 3: and this city as one breaks a potter's vessel, which
- 10:40Speaker 3: cannot be made whole again. They shall bury them in
- 10:44Speaker 3: Tophet till there is no place to bury them. Now,
- 10:55Speaker 3: God says the judgment would be so severe that there
- 10:59Speaker 3: would be not enough room to properly bury the dead.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Isn't that crazy? I remember watching military type movies about
- 11:17Speaker 3: certain wars and that sometimes they had to bury the
- 11:21Speaker 3: soldiers in a mass grave. on top of each other, right?
- 11:29Speaker 3: And this right here was not an empty threat. God
- 11:32Speaker 3: was warning them about something that would actually happen. Sometimes
- 11:38Speaker 3: we don't like talking about judgment and we prefer to
- 11:42Speaker 3: talk about God's blessing, right? That's what you hear most
- 11:47Speaker 3: of the time in church is God's blessing. God wants
- 11:50Speaker 3: you to prosper and be happy, but We want to
- 11:56Speaker 3: hear about God's love. We want to hear that God
- 12:01Speaker 3: has a plan for you. God wants to bless you.
- 12:03Speaker 3: And those things are very true. But God's word also
- 12:09Speaker 3: tells us that God is a holy God. God's word
- 12:14Speaker 3: tells us that sin matters. Choices matter. And rebellion has consequences.
- 12:25Speaker 3: We need the whole counsel of God, not just the
- 12:29Speaker 3: parts that make us comfortable and feel fuzzy and warm.
- 12:33Speaker 3: We need to see, I mean, we're going, that's why
- 12:37Speaker 3: we're going verse by verse. We need to see all
- 12:41Speaker 3: sides of God because we got to stand before him
- 12:45Speaker 3: one day and give an account of our lives. And
- 12:49Speaker 3: we need to turn this around Beloved, I encourage you
- 12:54Speaker 3: to send this podcast to all your family members. This episode.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I do have a YouTube link. Just either go to
- 13:05Speaker 3: our website, HisHotNation.com and you can find it on the
- 13:09Speaker 3: homepage or go to YouTube itself and just type in
- 13:12Speaker 3: His Hot Nation and start sending these links out. I mean, yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 3: I would like to get a bigger following, you know,
- 13:22Speaker 3: like to get subscribers up and all this and any
- 13:24Speaker 3: other but most importantly I bet you that a majority
- 13:36Speaker 3: of them are not hearing this message in church not
- 13:41Speaker 3: all God has a faithful remnant God has his faithful
- 13:46Speaker 3: pastors and his faithful churches out there I'm not saying
- 13:49Speaker 3: that he doesn't but It's an exception when it should
- 13:55Speaker 3: be the rule. Amen. Every church should teach and preach
- 14:00Speaker 3: messages like this.
- 14:01Speaker 2: It looks like you lost another one.
- 14:07Speaker 3: All right. 12 and 13. Thus, I will do to
- 14:16Speaker 3: this place, says the Lord and to its inhabitants. and
- 14:23Speaker 3: make this city its like Tophet, and the houses of
- 14:29Speaker 3: Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah shall
- 14:32Speaker 3: be defiled like the place of Tophet, because of all
- 14:39Speaker 3: of the houses on whose roofs they have burned incense
- 14:46Speaker 3: to all the hosts of heaven, And poured out drink
- 14:52Speaker 3: offering on other gods. Wow, God is a jealous God. Amen.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It looks like you lost another one. All right, let's
- 15:08Speaker 3: break it down, family. Now, God says that he will
- 15:17Speaker 3: make Jerusalem like Tophet.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Why?
- 15:22Speaker 3: Because the people had defiled their houses and the places
- 15:28Speaker 3: where they worshipped by burning incense to other gods. So
- 15:37Speaker 3: be careful, beloved, when you're burning sage or you're burning anything, right?
- 15:41Speaker 3: Our souls need to burn for the Lord. Now, because
- 15:49Speaker 3: the people had defiled They had taken things that belonged
- 15:58Speaker 3: to God and filled them with idols. Now, the connection
- 16:06Speaker 3: between the people's spiritual rebellion and the coming physical judgment,
- 16:11Speaker 3: their idolatry had corrupted the very places that should have
- 16:16Speaker 3: been dedicated to worshiping God. And that is sad. There's
- 16:25Speaker 3: a principle here that goes beyond ancient Judah. What you
- 16:31Speaker 3: allow into your heart eventually affects your life. Let me
- 16:37Speaker 3: say this again. What you allow into your heart eventually
- 16:43Speaker 3: affects your life. If you fill your heart with God's word,
- 16:50Speaker 3: it will influence how you think and how you live.
- 16:57Speaker 3: But if you continually fill your mind with things that
- 17:01Speaker 3: pull you away from God, those things will eventually influence
- 17:06Speaker 3: your decisions as well. So the question is, what is
- 17:14Speaker 3: coming into your life? What are you watching on TV
- 17:18Speaker 3: or on the Internet? What are you listening to? Hopefully
- 17:21Speaker 3: you're listening to the His Heart Radio app.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Amen.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Amen.
- 17:26Speaker 3: 24-7, shameless plug. Who are you allowing to influence you?
- 17:34Speaker 3: What are you consistently thinking about? All of those things matter.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Every little bit of it. Amen. Now, after delivering God's message,
- 18:08Speaker 3: Jeremiah takes another, well, actually, let's get verse, where are we?
- 18:23Speaker 3: Hold on a second. I lost my place. We should
- 18:29Speaker 3: be at verse 14. Okay. Then Jeremiah came from Tophet,
- 18:37Speaker 3: where the Lord had sent him to prophesy. And he
- 18:41Speaker 3: stood in the court of the Lord's house and said
- 18:45Speaker 3: to all the people, Thus says the Lord of hosts,
- 18:50Speaker 3: the God of Israel. Behold, I will bring on this
- 18:54Speaker 3: city and on all her towns all the doom that
- 18:59Speaker 3: I have pronounced against it, because they have stiffened their
- 19:05Speaker 3: necks that they might not hear my words. One thing
- 19:14Speaker 3: I love about God is he explains it, right? He
- 19:17Speaker 3: puts it in plain language. All right, let's look into it.
- 19:28Speaker 3: So he returns to the house of the Lord. Then
- 19:31Speaker 3: he speaks to all the people. Now, there's something here
- 19:35Speaker 3: we need to notice. Jeremiah doesn't stop preaching because the
- 19:40Speaker 3: message is unpopular. Right? Just like the day and the
- 19:48Speaker 3: time that we're living in now. our message is becoming
- 19:52Speaker 3: more and more unpopular what are we going to do
- 19:56Speaker 3: as God's people shrink back and stop preaching God forbid
- 20:05Speaker 3: amen Jeremiah goes back to deliver the message. Now that
- 20:13Speaker 3: is what faithfulness looks like. Jeremiah didn't get to choose
- 20:19Speaker 3: an easy assignment. God gave him a difficult message for
- 20:24Speaker 3: difficult people. And Jeremiah delivered it. That's a challenge for
- 20:34Speaker 3: anybody involved in ministry today. Sometimes You won't get applause.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Sometimes people won't like what you say. Sometimes the message
- 20:47Speaker 3: God gives you won't be popular. But if God gives
- 20:53Speaker 3: you an assignment, be faithful to fulfill that assignment. And
- 21:01Speaker 3: I can say that I believe with all my heart
- 21:05Speaker 3: I fulfilled the assignment that was given unto me when
- 21:09Speaker 3: I preached my mother's eulogy, even though there was an interruption,
- 21:14Speaker 3: even though my aunt Susan got offended and publicly rebuked me.
- 21:21Speaker 3: I believe that like Jeremiah, I had to preach a
- 21:28Speaker 3: difficult message. Verse 13, it says, I will bring upon
- 21:34Speaker 3: this city all the evil. Now, Jeremiah tells the people
- 21:40Speaker 3: that God is going to bring upon Jerusalem the calamity
- 21:45Speaker 3: he had warned about. And then he gives a reason
- 21:50Speaker 3: because they have hardened their necks that they might not
- 21:57Speaker 3: hear my words. There it is, family. They hardened their necks.
- 22:06Speaker 3: They refused to listen. They refused correction. They refused to
- 22:13Speaker 3: turn around. That is the real danger. It's not simply
- 22:19Speaker 3: that you make a mistake. We all make mistakes, beloved.
- 22:24Speaker 3: The danger is when God corrects you and you decide
- 22:28Speaker 3: I'm not listening. That's a hardened heart. A soft heart says, Lord,
- 22:36Speaker 3: show me what needs to change. A hardened heart says,
- 22:42Speaker 3: nobody is going to tell me what to do. And
- 22:47Speaker 3: there is a huge difference between both hearts. Amen. I
- 22:54Speaker 3: pray that our prayer, add that to the top of
- 22:57Speaker 3: our prayer list. Lord, show me what needs to change
- 23:02Speaker 3: in my life. Amen. Do not harden your heart. Jeremiah 19,
- 23:12Speaker 3: 10-15 gives us a powerful warning. God warns before judgment.
- 23:18Speaker 3: He gives Judah opportunities to repent. Repeated rebellion hardens the heart.
- 23:28Speaker 3: The more we reject correction, the easier it becomes to
- 23:34Speaker 3: reject it. Sin affects more than just the individual. Judah's
- 23:43Speaker 3: rebellion affected families, communities, and the entire nation. God's patience
- 23:51Speaker 3: has a purpose. His patience gives us an opportunity to
- 23:58Speaker 3: turn things around. So, beloved, beloved, please respond when God
- 24:06Speaker 3: speaks to us. Don't wait. Don't assume you always have
- 24:12Speaker 3: another opportunity to correct what God has placed his finger on.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Tomorrow is not promised. The Bible says that today is
- 24:24Speaker 3: the day of salvation. Do not allow the enemy to
- 24:30Speaker 3: deceive us. All right. On that note, let's take a break.
- 24:36Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 24:40Speaker 5: is the His Hop Radio Show.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Oh, how I love it.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 4: It brings me joy when I hear you cry.
- 24:57Speaker 3: I love to see the tears falling from your eyes.
- 25:01Speaker 2: It makes me smile when.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Your children die.
- 25:04Speaker 2: I was made for your demise, but I'm talking bullets fly.
- 25:08Speaker 3: No, you cocky poppy.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Cut back, amen, four pounds and I'm dangerous I was
- 25:14Speaker 2: made to put you in your grave Load it, cock it,
- 25:16Speaker 2: pop it Cut back, amen, you know what my name
- 25:20Speaker 2: is On these rapper.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Songs, they give me praise Load it, cock it, pop it.
- 25:24Speaker 2: They just serve my purpose, they're my slaves Load it,
- 25:27Speaker 2: cock it, pop it My clip is full of bullets
- 25:29Speaker 2: with your name Load it, cock it, pop it I
- 25:31Speaker 2: was made to put you in your grave Now hold up,
- 25:38Speaker 2: I'm confused Cause the type of tunes that you've been
- 25:41Speaker 2: vibing to Glorified when I am used And rivals dying,
- 25:44Speaker 2: lying Pools of blood, super thug In a violent mood,
- 25:48Speaker 2: you ride and cruise through that Like it's the soundtrack.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Of your life So dude, why would you Cry when
- 25:53Speaker 3: this kid introduced us?
- 25:54Speaker 2: Man, I couldn't understand it at first When I saw
- 25:56Speaker 2: you cry, then panic, it hurt Cause I really thought
- 25:58Speaker 2: you were a fan of my work After singing all
- 26:00Speaker 2: the love songs about me, I thought you would be
- 26:02Speaker 2: excited to meet. But instead you dropped down right to
- 26:04Speaker 2: your knees and you started begging for your life that
- 26:06Speaker 2: was weak. You love it when these rappers talk about
- 26:08Speaker 2: how they will aim me and leave some brains leaking.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Don't you want to see me live in action? I
- 26:12Speaker 2: thought you would want the same treatment.
- 26:14Speaker 5: I don't get it.
- 26:14Speaker 2: You've been praising me faithfully. Now your vibe ain't the
- 26:16Speaker 2: same when you're facing me. You love murder till it
- 26:18Speaker 2: hits home. That's a double standard and I hate it.
- 26:20Speaker 3: It's fake to me.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Amen, four pounds and I'm dangerous I was made to
- 26:25Speaker 2: put you in your grave Loaded, cock it, pop it,
- 26:28Speaker 2: cock back Amen, you know what my name is On
- 26:32Speaker 2: these rapper songs, they give me praise Loaded, cock it,
- 26:35Speaker 2: pop it, they just serve my purpose They're my slaves Loaded,
- 26:38Speaker 2: cock it, pop it, my clip is full of bullets
- 26:40Speaker 2: with your name Loaded, cock it, pop it, cock back Amen,
- 26:44Speaker 2: four pounds and I'm dangerous I was made to put
- 26:47Speaker 2: you in your grave Loaded, cock it, pop it, cock
- 26:48Speaker 2: back There is something so musical about the cries of
- 26:51Speaker 2: a grieving mother at funeral. And there's nothing more beautiful
- 26:54Speaker 2: than a kid's corpse in the touch of the view.
- 26:56Speaker 2: And you will say it's disgusting that you would do hypocrisy,
- 26:59Speaker 2: something you humans do. Cause if we were to go
- 27:01Speaker 2: through your playlist, we will see you find the destruction
- 27:03Speaker 2: amusing too. Your grief is selective when it's police you're
- 27:06Speaker 2: upset and you people protest it. But you ain't equally
- 27:08Speaker 2: stressed when the reason for death is when you're people
- 27:10Speaker 2: beef and they set trip when that happens you seem
- 27:12Speaker 2: to accept it so don't act like it's me you
- 27:14Speaker 2: upset with the ideal of your people dying's entertaining to
- 27:16Speaker 2: you when that beat is infectious y'all create this environment
- 27:19Speaker 2: that i've been thriving in the hate inside of man

- 28:33Speaker 5: I'm begging don't shoot. You are listening to The Light
- 28:37Speaker 5: of Las Vegas. This is the HizHop Radio Show.
- 28:58Speaker 3: All right, y'all. We are back from the break. That
- 29:01Speaker 3: is our brother Dayton. Song from his new art project.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Make sure you support those who have been faithfully on
- 29:11Speaker 3: the front line. And Dayton is definitely a soldier. Hey, man,
- 29:18Speaker 3: I want to give a huge shout out to the
- 29:20Speaker 3: live chat. Shout out to our brother Zone. I appreciate you, brother,
- 29:25Speaker 3: for showing up faithfully, for being the trivia champion. And also,
- 29:32Speaker 3: I saw you log into the new community yesterday. I
- 29:36Speaker 3: wasn't able to finish out the podcast. with you yesterday
- 29:41Speaker 3: I saw your post I'm hitting you up today just
- 29:45Speaker 3: to let you know man I appreciate it and that
- 29:48Speaker 3: you did get the right answer for the trivia and
- 29:54Speaker 3: let me know what you think about this platform our
- 29:58Speaker 3: community platform That we're using. See if you can upload
- 30:03Speaker 3: a profile pic. And all that good stuff. And I
- 30:07Speaker 3: believe if you want to post a video. It has
- 30:09Speaker 3: to be a link. You don't necessarily upload it. I
- 30:14Speaker 3: mean which is cool. But yes. It's another spot where
- 30:20Speaker 3: we can. Use to build our online community. And of
- 30:26Speaker 3: course always come into the live chat. We're going to
- 30:30Speaker 3: live chat first, but once we go so far in
- 30:35Speaker 3: a live chat, some of the conversations begin to disappear
- 30:40Speaker 3: because it's like a chat room. We have another platform
- 30:44Speaker 3: where we can go back in the archives if you
- 30:49Speaker 3: want to look up a question or a scripture or
- 30:52Speaker 3: something from like a month ago. We can do so
- 30:56Speaker 3: in the community and make it more You know, just,
- 31:03Speaker 3: you know, more functional, I guess, is what I'm trying
- 31:06Speaker 3: to say for the community we're trying to build or
- 31:09Speaker 3: trying to disciple online. This is a discipleship radio station,
- 31:14Speaker 3: discipleship podcast. We hold each other accountable, which is a
- 31:20Speaker 3: great segue to go into our accountability partner segment. So
- 31:26Speaker 3: this week, ask your partner, where do you see me
- 31:30Speaker 3: becoming resistant to God's correction? Like where is there anyone?
- 31:36Speaker 3: Let me ask this. Is there anyone in your life
- 31:38Speaker 3: close enough to you to be able to see this?
- 31:43Speaker 3: Because this is dangerous to us. The Bible says that
- 31:48Speaker 3: if we sin against God, we hate our own souls.
- 31:52Speaker 3: We love death to ignore his word. So I pray
- 31:57Speaker 3: that we do not harden our hearts, that our hearts
- 32:01Speaker 3: will not become hardened, that we will develop a habit
- 32:05Speaker 3: of saying yes to God and not saying no to
- 32:08Speaker 3: him and justifying him. And beloved, I'm guilty. I'm going
- 32:12Speaker 3: to repent before the end of this podcast. Even though
- 32:18Speaker 3: this is a tough question, but that's what accountability is
- 32:22Speaker 3: supposed to do. Not just encourage you, but And not
- 32:28Speaker 3: just to agree with you. Sometimes your accountability partner needs
- 32:31Speaker 3: to tell you, I think you're heading in the wrong direction.
- 32:37Speaker 3: And you need to humble yourself and listen to the
- 32:42Speaker 3: correction of God. Amen. Also, we want to let you
- 32:51Speaker 3: know that His High Radio is a monitored and a
- 32:54Speaker 3: reporting radio station. We do have a couple of charts
- 33:02Speaker 3: that we send all the information to your spend data.
- 33:06Speaker 3: We monitor every time your song gets played. And if
- 33:10Speaker 3: you want to rise up and become number one on
- 33:14Speaker 3: the charts, submit your music on our website, his hot nation.com.
- 33:20Speaker 3: The submissions tab, fill out all the info and check
- 33:25Speaker 3: out our promo packages. Very affordable. And that's going to
- 33:29Speaker 3: help you get the exposure you are looking for. All right, beloved.
- 33:40Speaker 3: It is time for today's trivia challenge. We're trying to
- 33:44Speaker 3: make it a little more harder, a little more challenging
- 33:47Speaker 3: at the request of Mrs.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Hop.
- 33:52Speaker 2: So.
- 33:58Speaker 3: The scripture reference is going to be Jeremiah 19, 1
- 34:02Speaker 3: through 10. So fall back and read it if you
- 34:06Speaker 3: need to and answer this question. What specific object did
- 34:12Speaker 3: Jeremiah break as a prophetic sign? And what did God
- 34:17Speaker 3: say that a broken object represents? Let me ask it again.
- 34:24Speaker 3: What specific object did Jeremiah break as a prophetic sign
- 34:31Speaker 3: and what did God say that broke that broken object
- 34:36Speaker 3: represents amen amen the first to answer that as always
- 34:50Speaker 3: will be our champion for today I don't know. We're
- 34:53Speaker 3: still making adjustments. I'm thinking I'm not going to give
- 34:56Speaker 3: the scripture reference and make y'all think a little harder.
- 35:03Speaker 3: And so let us know, give us feedback. We're always
- 35:06Speaker 3: adjusting and making adjustments. Time for our community love, our
- 35:16Speaker 3: community shout outs. We give you updates about our activities
- 35:20Speaker 3: in the community. And also if you got an event
- 35:24Speaker 3: Submit your event info to us and we would love
- 35:26Speaker 3: to announce it here on the station. We are a
- 35:29Speaker 3: community radio station and any updates or any features we
- 35:34Speaker 3: may have. First, I want to mention that we have
- 35:39Speaker 3: an event coming up August 29th coming up this Saturday.
- 35:45Speaker 3: We will be at the Resort World. It'll be a
- 35:47Speaker 3: business mixer. We sent out the email notification to our newsletter.
- 35:54Speaker 3: We posted it on our blog, our blog, the His
- 35:57Speaker 3: Hot Radio blog on the website. And we updated our
- 36:02Speaker 3: calendar about this event. So if you want to know
- 36:07Speaker 3: more about it, start clicking those links. You know where
- 36:10Speaker 3: to go. And even on the His Hot Radio app,
- 36:14Speaker 3: we actually cleaned up the app a little bit. The menu,
- 36:16Speaker 3: we cleaned up some of the links. There were some
- 36:20Speaker 3: links that were not working. So. We got rid of
- 36:23Speaker 3: them or we refreshed them so they can work and
- 36:27Speaker 3: we organized it a little more. So if you click
- 36:32Speaker 3: on the event tab, the drop down will fall and
- 36:35Speaker 3: you'll see our calendar. You'll see all of our activities
- 36:41Speaker 3: on the app and also you'll see our past events.
- 36:43Speaker 3: You'll be able to check out our recap. And so
- 36:47Speaker 3: those are the events that are hosted by us, His
- 36:51Speaker 3: Hop Nation. and probably some events that we support others on,
- 36:56Speaker 3: but it is a place so that you can know
- 37:00Speaker 3: what we're about and get more familiar with our ministry.
- 37:06Speaker 3: So if you can make it out, please do. And
- 37:09Speaker 3: also mark your calendar for September 12th, another event that
- 37:13Speaker 3: we were invited to go to, to support. This one
- 37:17Speaker 3: will be at the Doolittle Center. I've, been trying to
- 37:23Speaker 3: get down there for years so we have an opportunity
- 37:28Speaker 3: to minister there that is a rough side of town
- 37:32Speaker 3: but we believe that God has ministry for that area
- 37:36Speaker 3: so pray for us and if you want to come
- 37:40Speaker 3: down and minister there's a spot for artists to come
- 37:44Speaker 3: and minister as well so definitely go to our website
- 37:48Speaker 3: or app and get in touch with us To get
- 37:51Speaker 3: more information about that. I have not posted the flyer yet.
- 37:55Speaker 3: For that one. Because we're trying to. Get past this
- 37:59Speaker 3: one first. The one in August. But I'll probably put
- 38:05Speaker 3: it out today. Because September 12th. Is coming pretty quick.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Also we want to let you know. That His Hop Nation. Nation. Inc.
- 38:20Speaker 3: is a nonprofit organization. We are a 501c3. We opened
- 38:26Speaker 3: up a Christian club in 2012, and I'm still trusting
- 38:30Speaker 3: and believing God that we will relaunch, reopen another one.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I'm just trying to be diligent and secure finances, secure support.
- 38:39Speaker 3: I'm a firm believer in where God guides, He provides.
- 38:44Speaker 3: But also God wants his children to be involved in support.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I do believe in tithing. I believe in giving offering.
- 38:53Speaker 3: And so we got our business house in order. We're
- 39:00Speaker 3: asking our community, our brothers and sisters in Christ, those
- 39:03Speaker 3: who want to see change, those who want to evangelize
- 39:07Speaker 3: and reach our community. We're asking you to give. We're
- 39:12Speaker 3: asking you to become monthly supporters, donors, sponsors. We're asking
- 39:19Speaker 3: if you know about grants or if you know how
- 39:21Speaker 3: to write a grant that you would get in touch
- 39:24Speaker 3: with us. You can do all that on our website, hishopnation.com.
- 39:31Speaker 3: also do that on the app His Hop Radio on
- 39:34Speaker 3: all platforms and you can do it on our non-profit
- 39:38Speaker 3: website hishopnation.org we appreciate you applause Now, we're going to
- 39:54Speaker 3: close it out and we're going to actually pray into
- 39:57Speaker 3: this podcast because I feel I need to pray. I'm
- 39:59Speaker 3: going to protect my heart. Amen. So this is a
- 40:07Speaker 3: sobering passage. Jeremiah breaks the bottle in the broken bottle
- 40:12Speaker 3: becomes a picture of what was going to happen to Jerusalem.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Because the people had hardened their hearts, God had spoken.
- 40:23Speaker 3: They did not listen. God had warned them. They did
- 40:28Speaker 3: not respond to his warnings. God called them to repentance,
- 40:32Speaker 3: and they refused to do so. And eventually, their continued
- 40:37Speaker 3: rebellion brought consequences. Here's what I want you to take
- 40:44Speaker 3: away from today's lesson. Don't wait until your heart becomes hard.
- 40:50Speaker 3: If God is speaking to you today, respond today. If
- 40:54Speaker 3: you need to apologize, apologize. If you need to forgive, forgive.
- 41:00Speaker 3: If you need to walk away from something, walk away.
- 41:05Speaker 3: If you need to repent, repent. Don't keep saying, I'll
- 41:10Speaker 3: do it later. later isn't promised. God's correction is not rejection. God,
- 41:21Speaker 3: when God corrects you, he's giving you an opportunity to
- 41:25Speaker 3: get back on the right path. Amen. So keep your
- 41:31Speaker 3: heart soft, stay humble, stay teachable, stay in the word.
- 41:38Speaker 3: And when God speaks, Listen. Amen. So let's go ahead
- 41:46Speaker 3: and pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for your word. Thank
- 41:52Speaker 3: you for correcting us when we go in the wrong direction, Lord.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Search our hearts today. Show us any area where we
- 42:02Speaker 3: have become stubborn, resistant, or even hardened, oh God. Forgive
- 42:08Speaker 3: us for times we've heard your voice and ignored it.
- 42:12Speaker 3: Forgive us for the times we've known what was right
- 42:17Speaker 3: and still chose our own way. Give us hearts that
- 42:22Speaker 3: are soft towards you, God. Give us ears that hear
- 42:27Speaker 3: your word, Father. Give us courage to repent and give
- 42:33Speaker 3: us strength to make the changes you are calling us
- 42:38Speaker 3: to make, Lord. Don't Let us become so comfortable in
- 42:43Speaker 3: sin that we stop recognizing your correction. Keep us close
- 42:48Speaker 3: to you, Father. Bless every listener of His Hot Radio.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Bless their families, their ministries, their work, and their communities.
- 42:58Speaker 3: Bless His Hot Nation and continue using this ministry to
- 43:02Speaker 3: reach people through Christian Hip Hop Radio Podcast Outreach and
- 43:08Speaker 3: with your word. Let everything we do point people back
- 43:13Speaker 3: to Jesus. In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ,
- 43:18Speaker 3: we pray. And remember, it's not about us. It's all
- 43:24Speaker 3: about the Christ in us. God bless.
- 43:38Speaker 5: You are listening to The Light of Las Vegas. This
- 43:42Speaker 5: is the HizHop Radio Show.
