- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, welcome in a happy Thursday to you.
- 0:03Speaker 2: It is a pres free zone today, on this July
- 0:06Speaker 2: the thirtieth. Can't believe it, but we're getting ready to
- 0:08Speaker 2: say goodbye to July. Welcome in August. Football is upon
- 0:14Speaker 2: us here, training camps opening up. We got to get
- 0:16Speaker 2: you ready for that. We're going to talk a little
- 0:19Speaker 2: bit about the NFC North here today a little bit later.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Of course, we've got sharp bets, we got a parlay
- 0:26Speaker 2: of the day, we've got predictive markets, we got a
- 0:28Speaker 2: Major League Baseball rundown, and you guys are in.
- 0:31Speaker 1: For a treat. It's Art. The Caesar is here. That's right. Oh,
- 0:36Speaker 1: Brian Powers here too, is well. Good to see you,
- 0:38Speaker 1: Brian Power.
- 0:39Speaker 2: As always, man wasn't quite sure you Mike was on,
- 0:43Speaker 2: but it's it's good to see both of you, gentlemen.
- 0:46Speaker 2: In fact here, yes, BP, thank you so much for
- 0:50Speaker 2: alerting us to your availability and bracing us here in
- 0:53Speaker 2: the show today.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Outstanding stuff.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Art is always doing you a favor.
- 1:00Speaker 1: We go. I knew that was coming at some particular point.
- 1:03Speaker 2: In all honesty, here gentlemen, it is a press free zone,
- 1:07Speaker 2: which is always a good time. Buts let's start first
- 1:11Speaker 2: and foremost with what we witnessed last night and.
- 1:14Speaker 1: How the books did art. So what were you seeing
- 1:17Speaker 1: last night?
- 1:19Speaker 2: I guess the Dodgers won, so that's never that's always
- 1:22Speaker 2: I guess, not good for the books.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Right, Dodgers won, But you know, Yankees blew their lead,
- 1:27Speaker 4: Phillies blew their lead, Cubs blew their lead late, a
- 1:31Speaker 4: lot of blown leads. Tigers, they were a big favorite
- 1:34Speaker 4: with school ball. That was a wacky game. So you
- 1:36Speaker 4: got a lot of games like that that ended up
- 1:38Speaker 4: turning at some point, which is always going to be good.
- 1:41Speaker 4: When major teams like that, especially big favorites lose outright,
- 1:45Speaker 4: that's always going to be parlay killers and always good
- 1:47Speaker 4: for the house.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Yeah that was I know you were celebrating there BP
- 1:51Speaker 2: was that a mini celebration with the Yankees blowing that lead?
- 1:55Speaker 1: There? Is that what that was?
- 1:57Speaker 5: And the Cubs as well. We had both the White
- 1:59Speaker 5: Sox and the Cardinals. Anytime you got a four game
- 2:02Speaker 5: series the home team loses the first two, I get
- 2:05Speaker 5: a little interested no matter who the team is.
- 2:07Speaker 3: And yeah, we got a little lucky in both instances.
- 2:10Speaker 5: But hey, we come on here a lot of times
- 2:12Speaker 5: and say man, you won't believe the bad break I
- 2:14Speaker 5: got last night. Well, you got to celebrate when the
- 2:16Speaker 5: breaks go your way, and I'll take two wins there
- 2:20Speaker 5: in the evening. It was a nice spouse because I
- 2:21Speaker 5: had the under in that Tigers Orioles game. Art that
- 2:25Speaker 5: sucked quite frankly, Tiger, you know what if that is
- 2:29Speaker 5: it for schoobl and the Motor City. What a fitting
- 2:31Speaker 5: ending with the bullpen just coming in and just completely
- 2:34Speaker 5: pouring gas all over the field and blowing.
- 2:37Speaker 3: That seven to nothing lead in spectacular.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Fashion, really spectacular fashion in fact there, but that was
- 2:44Speaker 2: our long shot yesterday.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Art.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I believe the Orioles getting it done, or I gotta
- 2:49Speaker 2: be honest. I did not watch that game at at
- 2:52Speaker 2: a fifth ending because I was thoroughly disgusted with Rogers
- 2:56Speaker 2: and the entire Orioles team. But in certainly in epic
- 3:01Speaker 2: Detroit fashion, they figured out a way to continue to
- 3:04Speaker 2: lose games, and really, to your point, BP play themselves
- 3:09Speaker 2: right into trading Schoolble. So I'm well done Detroit, and
- 3:13Speaker 2: not just Schooble. I think Casey Miles will be wearing
- 3:15Speaker 2: a different uniform. I think the if you sell Schoolble,
- 3:19Speaker 2: if you trade him, you better just start over and
- 3:22Speaker 2: hit the refresh button there. So we did have some
- 3:25Speaker 2: WNBA last night, do we not? Art as well? We
- 3:29Speaker 2: got some WNBA here today. What are the sharps playing
- 3:34Speaker 2: in that direction?
- 3:35Speaker 1: Do we not? Yeah?
- 3:37Speaker 4: They laid four with the sky overnight. It's now five.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Also took the over one seventy four now looking at
- 3:42Speaker 4: like one seventy six seventy six and a half on
- 3:46Speaker 4: that total. So the two WNBA sharp plays are in
- 3:49Speaker 4: the same game. Once you go to baseball, they're on
- 3:52Speaker 4: two sides and it's a smaller you know, slate today
- 3:55Speaker 4: on a Thursday, But they're on the Padres and they're on.
- 3:57Speaker 2: The Pirates Padres and and the Pirates here, and all
- 4:02Speaker 2: of a sudden, what are the Podres do BP. I'm
- 4:05Speaker 2: having a hard time figuring out who the buyers are
- 4:07Speaker 2: and who the sellers are outside of the Angels who
- 4:11Speaker 2: have already made a trade. I believe right o'hop's already
- 4:13Speaker 2: on his way out to somebody else here. So kudos
- 4:18Speaker 2: to him for getting hell out of Anaheim. But I
- 4:21Speaker 2: don't know what you do for your the Podres here
- 4:23Speaker 2: because they have zero starting pitching, zero starting pitching.
- 4:27Speaker 3: I don't think they're a good team. I don't think
- 4:29Speaker 3: they should be a buyer.
- 4:30Speaker 5: But it's hard, I mean, right, I mean, it's always
- 4:31Speaker 5: difficult to sell your fan base waving the white flag.
- 4:35Speaker 1: You know.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Zeno and I talked about this earlier in the.
- 4:38Speaker 5: Week that with some of these teams, rather than just guess,
- 4:41Speaker 5: maybe you know, just don't bet, it's but decrease your
- 4:44Speaker 5: volume this week's see and find out for yourself. Look,
- 4:47Speaker 5: the teams will tell you if they're a buyer seller
- 4:49Speaker 5: at the deadline, right Joe. We're not gonna have to
- 4:50Speaker 5: guess at this time next week, So it will be
- 4:54Speaker 5: interesting indeed which directions these teams choose to go next week,
- 4:59Speaker 5: So stay tuned. I guess my opinion is the Padres
- 5:02Speaker 5: are not one of the six best teams in the
- 5:04Speaker 5: National League. And I don't know they go for broke
- 5:07Speaker 5: this year. We'll see, We'll see, but I don't.
- 5:11Speaker 2: The bullpen is good, but how many bullpen games can
- 5:13Speaker 2: you go with art before at some point?
- 5:15Speaker 1: I mean, Michael King is not carrying Walker.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Bueller is not carrying you to the finish line here,
- 5:21Speaker 2: So that's a problem there, all right.
- 5:23Speaker 1: A couple of sharp bets across the board.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Like you said, I think we got three or four
- 5:27Speaker 2: day games here today, five or six games on the
- 5:31Speaker 2: usual slate.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Later on.
- 5:34Speaker 2: We do have a parlay of the day. Art, Damned
- 5:37Speaker 2: if I can remember what the hell we chose yesterday.
- 5:39Speaker 2: But I'm sure the President was wrong and today is
- 5:43Speaker 2: a new day. So go ahead and kick us off
- 5:47Speaker 2: here on the parlay of the day.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Sure, I'm gonna go under in the Giants Padres game
- 5:52Speaker 4: under eight and a half?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Under eight and a half, I think, didn't I, now
- 5:56Speaker 2: that I'm thinking about it here? Did I think I
- 5:58Speaker 2: went with the under in the White Sox Yankees game?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Will look great right up until Yeah? Okay, well you know,
- 6:05Speaker 2: blind squirrel finds it not every now and then.
- 6:07Speaker 4: How about don't worry Joe, I had the Cubs I got,
- 6:11Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 6:12Speaker 2: So I'm feeling worse by the second, So go ahead,
- 6:16Speaker 2: the BP graceis with your second leg of this three
- 6:20Speaker 2: team parlay today.
- 6:21Speaker 5: Yeah, let's talk about Washington Atlanta. It's the National TV
- 6:24Speaker 5: game on ESPN. I want to find a way to
- 6:26Speaker 5: play the Nationals. Joe and Art. They lead all of
- 6:29Speaker 5: baseball and runs per game five point five They're a
- 6:32Speaker 5: better team on the road, much better thirty two and
- 6:35Speaker 5: twenty on the road compared to just twenty three and
- 6:37Speaker 5: thirty four a home. They're facing a Braves bullpen that
- 6:40Speaker 5: went through a double header yesterday, a starter Grant Holmes
- 6:43Speaker 5: that I thinks do for regression. But Jake Irvin's a
- 6:45Speaker 5: bit of a wild card right the Nats starters his
- 6:47Speaker 5: first time starting since May. He's coming off the sixty
- 6:50Speaker 5: day IL. So what do I have for you, guys?
- 6:53Speaker 5: NAT's team total over four and a half. Let's just
- 6:56Speaker 5: take the picture out of the equation and bet on
- 6:58Speaker 5: this league leading off.
- 7:00Speaker 1: All right?
- 7:01Speaker 2: Uh, my leg is going to be in a couple
- 7:04Speaker 2: of different ways that we can go in this spot here,
- 7:08Speaker 2: but I tend to think runs are coming at the
- 7:12Speaker 2: Great American Small Park here tonight. Here Pittsburgh taking on
- 7:17Speaker 2: Rhet Louder, who I believe the three of us can
- 7:19Speaker 2: score against for the Reds.
- 7:22Speaker 6: Uh.
- 7:22Speaker 2: It's an opener situation for Pittsburgh, which is always laughable.
- 7:26Speaker 2: But I do think Pittsburgh should be able to score
- 7:29Speaker 2: enough runs with Cincinnati to get this thing into double digits.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Nine and a half currently.
- 7:34Speaker 2: In that one there, all right, anything else, BP, is
- 7:39Speaker 2: that what is that? You got a your number one?
- 7:41Speaker 2: What are you doing there?
- 7:42Speaker 1: What is.
- 7:45Speaker 2: I was?
- 7:46Speaker 3: I watched Louder pitch in the flesh when they were
- 7:49Speaker 3: at Colored when we were out in Denver a couple
- 7:50Speaker 3: of weeks ago. You know, I was going to tell.
- 7:56Speaker 6: I was going to support your play. The guy gives
- 7:59Speaker 6: up eighth with you, and that's what I get from you.
- 8:05Speaker 6: You got to be ridden me man to.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Just hit the wrong button. I don't know how that happened, Art.
- 8:10Speaker 2: But we will move on to the predictive markets here
- 8:13Speaker 2: today as we have well listen Baseball the trade deadlines
- 8:18Speaker 2: coming up on Monday.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I still think there's a whole lot of.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Teams trying to figure out whether or not they're going
- 8:23Speaker 2: to be sellers buyers?
- 8:24Speaker 1: Are they standing?
- 8:25Speaker 2: But but it brings up an interesting question and an
- 8:29Speaker 2: interesting market, and that is who makes the playoffs, guys,
- 8:33Speaker 2: and who doesn't right now in these markets. So if
- 8:37Speaker 2: we take a look at the playoff qualifiers list, as
- 8:41Speaker 2: you can tell the teams with the ninety marking Yankees,
- 8:45Speaker 2: the Brewers, the Dodgers, Atlanta pretty much shoe ins Tampa,
- 8:52Speaker 2: it starts to get interesting there. BP with Boston, Philadelphia. Yes,
- 8:58Speaker 2: they can't win right now. And there's a bit of
- 9:01Speaker 2: a rift between Dombrowski and and Bryce Harper. Bryce Harper
- 9:04Speaker 2: wants help, Dobrowski's like, shut your pie hole and play.
- 9:08Speaker 2: You don't know what you're doing, so that that's never
- 9:12Speaker 2: a good sign. But you know, Texas, Seattle, even the Guardians,
- 9:17Speaker 2: the Whites, you know, there are some interesting prices for
- 9:21Speaker 2: teams that I think, what a month and a half
- 9:23Speaker 2: to go BP brings some value to the table.
- 9:27Speaker 5: Yeah, so as you mentioned those top six, I think
- 9:29Speaker 5: we can all agree they're going to be in the postseason.
- 9:32Speaker 5: But as you scroll down, man, there's a lot I
- 9:34Speaker 5: like here. I like the know on Cleveland, I think
- 9:38Speaker 5: they're not gonna do anything at the deadline.
- 9:42Speaker 3: They never do. It's a cheap organization. It was funny.
- 9:45Speaker 5: I was watching the broadcast on Peacock where they put
- 9:47Speaker 5: one and out like local one local announcer for one team,
- 9:50Speaker 5: another local the other team's local announcer.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Together.
- 9:53Speaker 5: Rick Manning of the representing the Guardians, after being told, oh,
- 9:57Speaker 5: you know, Guardians fans have to be, you know, begging
- 9:59Speaker 5: for a bat to be added at the trade deadline,
- 10:01Speaker 5: he goes, Yeah, that would be nice.
- 10:03Speaker 3: He knows that most Cleveland fans go They're not going
- 10:05Speaker 3: to add a bat at the deadline. Probably. I like
- 10:07Speaker 3: the yes on Pittsburgh, Yes on the White Sox, and
- 10:12Speaker 3: I think no, it's worth a shot on the Phillies.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Joe. Interesting.
- 10:16Speaker 5: This team has a negative year to date run differential.
- 10:20Speaker 5: They don't win when it's not Lozardo, Wheeler or san
- 10:24Speaker 5: Chez pitching. If they get to the playoffs, that's a
- 10:27Speaker 5: hell of a three man rotation, but they got to
- 10:29Speaker 5: get there first, and their record is like fourteen and
- 10:31Speaker 5: thirty four when it's not one of those three pitching.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Art What do you think? And Man, as far as
- 10:36Speaker 2: this list goes, who's down? I still't think Houston's very
- 10:41Speaker 2: much alive and a terrible division, but I think they
- 10:44Speaker 2: can hit their way into it if Hunter Brown continues
- 10:48Speaker 2: down the path where he becomes Hunter Brown again. I
- 10:50Speaker 2: think Houston and what kind of price are we talking
- 10:53Speaker 2: about with them right now? Forty cents so plus money
- 10:56Speaker 2: for Houston to actually what are they two games out?
- 11:00Speaker 2: They have the American League MVP on that team, They're
- 11:04Speaker 2: finally healthy and they'll score that bullpen with Josh Hater
- 11:07Speaker 2: and company, Alkert and everybody. They have more than enough
- 11:11Speaker 2: to win a miserable division in the AFC West here
- 11:14Speaker 2: AFC the American League West.
- 11:16Speaker 1: There, what do you think it?
- 11:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean obviously to make the playoffs. I would
- 11:20Speaker 4: even look at them to win the division. Why not?
- 11:22Speaker 4: I mean Seattle and Texas done nothing to you know,
- 11:25Speaker 4: distinguish themselves as the team who would go win that division.
- 11:29Speaker 4: BP mentioned a team and you said it a team
- 11:31Speaker 4: who could slug their way. There is Pittsburgh. I feel
- 11:34Speaker 4: like you probably get a really nice price on Pittsburgh
- 11:36Speaker 4: every you know, listen, every five days. They can throw
- 11:39Speaker 4: people like Skiens and Ashcroft, and they can have some
- 11:42Speaker 4: starters who can give you some quality innings and quality
- 11:46Speaker 4: starts where you can have a chance and that offense
- 11:48Speaker 4: is what second or third in the league and run.
- 11:50Speaker 4: So I think Pittsburgh at that price is probably the
- 11:54Speaker 4: best long shot value to make the playoffs. I like Pittsburgh.
- 11:58Speaker 2: And going down a little bit further here Minnesota, ironically
- 12:04Speaker 2: enough is still very much alive. Yeah, Baltimore, also Detroit
- 12:10Speaker 2: and Washington I think are are interesting too. Listen if
- 12:15Speaker 2: I hear one more rumor that CJ. Abrams is being traded.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna just like, I don't know what people are
- 12:20Speaker 2: talking about. They're not trading him at all here. But
- 12:24Speaker 2: when you look at this bottom half, Baltimore, Detroit, Washington, Miami,
- 12:29Speaker 2: even Saint Louis, who's what two and a half in?
- 12:33Speaker 2: Call me crazy here, Art one of these teams could
- 12:37Speaker 2: play their best baseball coming up. I love that Miami's
- 12:40Speaker 2: already gone through. You know, they went twenty wins in June,
- 12:43Speaker 2: couldn't win a game?
- 12:45Speaker 1: What lost twelve in a row in July.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Now they've put it together, take care of business against Philadelphia.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Could Miami be back on track here to make a
- 12:54Speaker 2: little bit of a run.
- 12:56Speaker 4: They absolutely good, could be, And you're clearly getting a
- 12:59Speaker 4: great price on that because of that twelve game losing streak.
- 13:02Speaker 4: You know, when you get to that bottom there, a
- 13:04Speaker 4: team like Minnesota, they've already come out and said they're
- 13:06Speaker 4: not like sellers, they're buyers. They're not gonna get rid
- 13:10Speaker 4: of Joe Ryan, They're not going to trade Jeffers to
- 13:12Speaker 4: my Yankees. So you know, you look at a team
- 13:14Speaker 4: like Minnesota, maybe they're just sitting there lurking, not a
- 13:16Speaker 4: lot of people talk about the Twins. I mean they've
- 13:19Speaker 4: been playing some pretty good baseball under the riddar. I
- 13:21Speaker 4: mean good baseball. You know they're five hundred. It is
- 13:23Speaker 4: what it is.
- 13:24Speaker 1: But in that.
- 13:24Speaker 4: American League, outside of Who, the Royals, Angels and A's,
- 13:28Speaker 4: I mean, everyone's kind of in it. It's just it's
- 13:31Speaker 4: a toss up in that American League.
- 13:33Speaker 1: It's crazy here. How far would you go down here? BP?
- 13:37Speaker 1: You think Miami is the cutoff?
- 13:39Speaker 3: I'm so glad we just kept scrolling down.
- 13:41Speaker 5: So unless if you think Washington, Miami and Saint Louis
- 13:45Speaker 5: are going to completely fall in the tank over the
- 13:48Speaker 5: next week, what do we always stress in this predictive
- 13:50Speaker 5: market segment? Guys, it's not that they're gonna get the
- 13:53Speaker 5: job done, It's that the price is just gonna go up.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Correct?
- 13:58Speaker 5: Is this price gonna get any lower on Washing to
- 14:00Speaker 5: Miami and State Louis.
- 14:01Speaker 3: These teams are two to two and a half games
- 14:03Speaker 3: out of the wild card only right?
- 14:04Speaker 1: Correct?
- 14:06Speaker 5: And you mentioned Miami kind of bottom out. They hit
- 14:09Speaker 5: their nay dear already just swept the Phillies Saint Louis.
- 14:13Speaker 5: I'm not a big believer and I've been skeptical all season,
- 14:16Speaker 5: but still, you know, I mean, that's a pretty low price.
- 14:19Speaker 3: And then the national the Nationals.
- 14:21Speaker 5: I am a believer if they're both, they're going to
- 14:23Speaker 5: rue I think at the end of the season their bullpen,
- 14:26Speaker 5: because if their bullpen hadn't blown so many games in
- 14:28Speaker 5: spectacular fashion, we're probably talking about the Nats in the postseason.
- 14:31Speaker 3: They could still make it with that offense.
- 14:33Speaker 5: I mentioned it earlier, league leading offense five point five
- 14:35Speaker 5: runs per game, so fifteen, twelve and fourteen percent.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I think those numbers aren't going to go down.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I think, And it's interesting.
- 14:43Speaker 2: I think you have to pick one or the other,
- 14:46Speaker 2: but I think San Diego is only going to go
- 14:48Speaker 2: in one direction because Machado and them are finally.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Starting to hit.
- 14:52Speaker 2: And I think, don't be shocked if Arizona makes a
- 14:56Speaker 2: run at this thing and all of a sudden lands
- 14:57Speaker 2: in the postseason and causes all sorts aggravate. They're willing
- 15:01Speaker 2: to make moves at the trade deadline. You know, they
- 15:03Speaker 2: had a lot of unfortunate luck, They had some injury concerns.
- 15:07Speaker 2: The bullpen seems to have turned it around. Corbyn Carroll's
- 15:10Speaker 2: hitting again, Arizona is a dangerous team to me, But
- 15:15Speaker 2: you got to pick one of the other. Is it
- 15:16Speaker 2: San Diego or is it Arizona? Who comes out of
- 15:18Speaker 2: the West there are.
- 15:21Speaker 4: I'm with you. I think it would be Arizona.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, BP, what are you? I mean forty
- 15:27Speaker 2: cents right now? It's forty three cents.
- 15:30Speaker 3: I don't know like those things.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I don't.
- 15:32Speaker 5: I actually don't like either of those teams that much.
- 15:34Speaker 5: I'd be surprised. I would be willing to bet against
- 15:37Speaker 5: both of them and go with someone else. To be
- 15:38Speaker 5: honest with you, Arizona, I like the upside of the Pittsburgh.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Well, it can't be just the Dodgers out of the
- 15:44Speaker 2: West because everybody else is as mediocre as it comes
- 15:47Speaker 2: any other divice.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about being.
- 15:50Speaker 5: The Cubs walking the Cubs and the Braves in the East.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Let's force we have two more wild cards. It could
- 15:56Speaker 5: be a second place team in the East and uh,
- 16:00Speaker 5: you know, and maybe the Pirates or the Cardinals in
- 16:02Speaker 5: the Central. You could have three teams form the Central,
- 16:04Speaker 5: or three teams from the East for that matter. I
- 16:06Speaker 5: think I think it's I think the West could be
- 16:08Speaker 5: I think the West could be one the Dodgers, and
- 16:10Speaker 5: that's it.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I think there's a chance.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Oh are the Dodgers even on this list? Guys, do
- 16:15Speaker 2: we think the Dodgers?
- 16:16Speaker 1: I can't see them. Did they put it? They're not
- 16:21Speaker 1: even listed on here? Are they?
- 16:23Speaker 2: Oh?
- 16:23Speaker 1: There?
- 16:23Speaker 3: They guard to Los Angeles.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Look at they have just yes, look at it, just yes.
- 16:30Speaker 2: That that's a they don't have a price associated with it.
- 16:33Speaker 2: They're saying, just yes.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Unbelievable. Uh, but definitely.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I think now's the time to start investing in some
- 16:39Speaker 2: of those markets. And VP brings up a great point.
- 16:42Speaker 2: It's not about them actually making the postseason. Those are
- 16:46Speaker 2: some prices that if you happen to have a future
- 16:49Speaker 2: ticket on one of these teams here and you're looking
- 16:51Speaker 2: to hedge out or cash out. Before it all said
- 16:55Speaker 2: and done, a couple of those teams go on a
- 16:57Speaker 2: little nice winning streak and all of a sudden, that's
- 16:59Speaker 2: a ten to fifteen twenty cent move by the time
- 17:03Speaker 2: we get to September first. So I think that market's
- 17:06Speaker 2: got some opportunities in it for sure. And guys, do
- 17:10Speaker 2: not forget to hit the like and subscribe button here,
- 17:13Speaker 2: become part of the wager Talk TV family. We're going
- 17:16Speaker 2: to dive in to the NFC North as we continue

- 17:29Speaker 2: which is always fun now this time of year, and
- 17:33Speaker 2: Monday we're going to start diving into some college football,
- 17:37Speaker 2: so you're not gonna want.
- 17:38Speaker 1: To miss that BP of the Year Art.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I won't let the president, so it'll be fine. So
- 17:45Speaker 2: we'll be good to go there with the three of us.
- 17:47Speaker 2: But now would be a good time here, Maybe we
- 17:50Speaker 2: can get a little bit of business done before we
- 17:53Speaker 2: start diving in and BP kick us off here, man,
- 17:57Speaker 2: what do you what do you got going over at
- 17:58Speaker 2: your page?
- 17:59Speaker 1: Your wager talk?
- 18:00Speaker 5: You know, I joked when I was on the show
- 18:02Speaker 5: Monday that you know, I hadn't been on in a
- 18:04Speaker 5: couple of weeks. I was coming off a rough week
- 18:07Speaker 5: last week. Well guess what I got the best betting
- 18:10Speaker 5: show ever?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Juju?
- 18:11Speaker 3: I guess Joe the Big mo four and.
- 18:13Speaker 5: One start to the week after going two and one yesterday,
- 18:16Speaker 5: ninety six and sixty six all Sports rad and number
- 18:19Speaker 5: one in MLB totals for the season. I have a
- 18:21Speaker 5: total available at my page right now WT dot Buzz
- 18:25Speaker 5: slash BP that you can get on board for twenty
- 18:28Speaker 5: five dollars. Don't forget and get on board six days
- 18:31Speaker 5: for sixty nine dollars if you want to sign up
- 18:34Speaker 5: for a little bit longer.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Good stuff there.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I got a total locked in ready to go
- 18:40Speaker 2: at my page wager talk dot com, WT dot Buzz
- 18:43Speaker 2: Forward slash JR. Same thing that BP said there, take
- 18:47Speaker 2: advantage on one of the all access packages.
- 18:49Speaker 1: That's the way to do it.
- 18:50Speaker 2: In fact, if you get one of them, I believe
- 18:53Speaker 2: you get an autographed copy of the thong the pres
- 18:55Speaker 2: is wearing in this picture right now.
- 18:57Speaker 1: So that's always good stuff you are.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I'm definitely gonna want that in the mail and explain
- 19:02Speaker 2: it to your better half. All right, So we got
- 19:05Speaker 2: business out of the way here, guys. Now it is
- 19:08Speaker 2: time to talk little football. It's our favorite time here
- 19:12Speaker 2: the NFC North, right, I mean, this does again any
- 19:16Speaker 2: better than this year, guys. The NFC North Preview. We
- 19:19Speaker 2: talked about the AFC North yesterday and Ard, I'm going
- 19:25Speaker 2: to start with you here. Everyone, I don't know what
- 19:30Speaker 2: to make of this division. I really don't because I'm
- 19:32Speaker 2: not a big Caleb Williams fan. I the Bears made
- 19:36Speaker 2: a nice push. I'm not a big believer in the Bears.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I think Green Bay Michael Parson's already physically unable to perform.
- 19:44Speaker 1: He's not going to be available.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I'm not exactly quite sure that they upgraded enough on
- 19:49Speaker 2: the offensive side. And then there's Detroit, who there's a
- 19:54Speaker 2: lot of people that got to replace offensive line, defense,
- 19:57Speaker 2: injury concerns, arrests. And then there's Minnesota, which we still
- 20:01Speaker 2: don't know who the quarterback is going to be so
- 20:03Speaker 2: art how do you break down this NFC North coming
- 20:06Speaker 2: up this season?
- 20:08Speaker 4: Yeah, you look at the Lions and obviously they're the favorites,
- 20:10Speaker 4: but we still get a nice plus price on them
- 20:12Speaker 4: because obviously the division is very competitive with Green Bay
- 20:16Speaker 4: and Chicago right behind them. A lot of people try
- 20:19Speaker 4: to talk themselves into the Bears. The Bears are very public.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I know a couple of weeks ago we had talked
- 20:24Speaker 4: about the Bears being one of those teams that everyone's
- 20:26Speaker 4: spent to win the Super Bowl, Caleb to win MVP,
- 20:28Speaker 4: taking their wins over. So the Bears have been a
- 20:31Speaker 4: very popular team. You know, I'm with you, Joe. I
- 20:34Speaker 4: don't believe it. I think for me, if I just
- 20:35Speaker 4: look at this division, I look at Minnesota. You have
- 20:38Speaker 4: a graphic up there. The quarterback's Kyler Murray, which JJ McCarthy.
- 20:42Speaker 4: I'm instantly out on them. Their win totals eight and
- 20:44Speaker 4: a half. I would take that under. I'd even go
- 20:46Speaker 4: alternate win total seven and a half and get a
- 20:48Speaker 4: nice plus price on Minnesota winning at seven or less
- 20:52Speaker 4: games so hard.
- 20:54Speaker 2: I mean, hey, who is the quarterback going to be there?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Brian Power in Minnesota? Even does it matter who the
- 21:02Speaker 2: quarterback is? They've been listen. They got the right coach.
- 21:06Speaker 2: If you're gonna resurrect anybody, he's the team. He's the
- 21:09Speaker 2: guy you want to play for. Defense will be good again.
- 21:12Speaker 1: We know that.
- 21:13Speaker 2: But are you buying Minnesota here? No matter who the quarterback.
- 21:18Speaker 5: Is, Minnesota and green they are tough teams to figure out.
- 21:22Speaker 5: First of all, Joe, you throw that graphic up there
- 21:24Speaker 5: with all the quarterbacks. I was instantly transported back to
- 21:27Speaker 5: one of the more horrible nights of twenty twenty six,
- 21:29Speaker 5: when I had Green Bay againt Chicago in the play
- 21:32Speaker 5: in that fateful playoff game. I know a lot of
- 21:34Speaker 5: other people did, I still am not over the Packers
- 21:37Speaker 5: blowing that three score lead in the playoffs. You guys
- 21:42Speaker 5: have both mentioned that you are not believers in the Bears.
- 21:45Speaker 5: I think they check every single box for regression this
- 21:49Speaker 5: year in terms of winsor losses. I was looking it
- 21:51Speaker 5: up as you guys were talking. I absolutely love Bears
- 21:54Speaker 5: at minus one ten to miss the playoffs this year.
- 21:56Speaker 3: I don't think you know.
- 21:57Speaker 5: I mentioned earlier in the week when I was on
- 21:59Speaker 5: Joe we were talking AFC South Jacksonville being a prime
- 22:03Speaker 5: candidate for regression when it comes to wins and losses.
- 22:06Speaker 5: I think Chicago even more so. I think this team
- 22:09Speaker 5: is going to miss the playoffs. I think Detroit bounces
- 22:11Speaker 5: back this year and probably does win the division. I
- 22:14Speaker 5: think that might be the best. You know, if you
- 22:16Speaker 5: were an A plus art mentioned plus one seventy is
- 22:18Speaker 5: not a bad price on them. But I think my
- 22:21Speaker 5: favorite bet in the NFC North is Bears minus one
- 22:25Speaker 5: ten to make them to miss to miss the playoffs.
- 22:28Speaker 5: I just think regression all around. They won so many
- 22:31Speaker 5: close games. How often do we see it?
- 22:34Speaker 3: One year? You win every plus the close game.
- 22:36Speaker 5: Gods giveth the close game, Gods taketh away we saw
- 22:40Speaker 5: it with Washington. They remind me a lot of Washington.
- 22:43Speaker 5: What the Bears did is what Washington did two years ago,
- 22:47Speaker 5: and then we saw a granted that was injury related
- 22:49Speaker 5: some of Washington's woes last season, but still the regression
- 22:53Speaker 5: came for the Commanders last year.
- 22:55Speaker 3: I think it could come to a similar.
- 22:57Speaker 5: Degree here for the Chicago Bears, the Northwest Indiana Bears.
- 23:02Speaker 2: So the problem that I have with Green Bay is
- 23:05Speaker 2: a again, the defensive side of the ball and Micah Parsons.
- 23:09Speaker 2: They're not thinking it's going to be back until what
- 23:11Speaker 2: mid to late October, so they're going to have to
- 23:14Speaker 2: step up. I don't mind some of the pieces they
- 23:17Speaker 2: have on the defensive side, but how many times are
- 23:20Speaker 2: we going to expect Jordan Love who to me doesn't
- 23:23Speaker 2: have a legit number one still? You know, Dobbs is
- 23:27Speaker 2: no longer there right, Wix is gone.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Tight end?
- 23:31Speaker 2: You know, is he going to be back in time
- 23:33Speaker 2: to get it to get it going? Tight Ends don't
- 23:36Speaker 2: count as number one receivers. And I'm sorry now, Matthew
- 23:39Speaker 2: Golden was pretty was pretty good. Looks like all signs
- 23:43Speaker 2: are pointing up for him. But Sky Moore, I mean
- 23:48Speaker 2: is that really what? It's amazing to me. They've done
- 23:51Speaker 2: as well as they have VP without a legit number
- 23:55Speaker 2: one wide receiver I and plus they've always been hurt
- 23:59Speaker 2: at that position. So kudos to the Packers for continuing
- 24:04Speaker 2: to do it. And I don't know, smoking mirrors and
- 24:08Speaker 2: you know, it gets real hard to win at Lambeau
- 24:10Speaker 2: in December and January. I get it, but I mean
- 24:14Speaker 2: I don't always there running back.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Is he in jail? Is he not? Like what's going
- 24:17Speaker 1: on with Green Bay this year? Always tough.
- 24:20Speaker 5: I was laughing when you mentioned the name sky Moore, Joe,
- 24:22Speaker 5: because I remember it was like three years ago when
- 24:24Speaker 5: he was still with Kansas City. I bet an over
- 24:26Speaker 5: once on his receiver cop and he didn't have a
- 24:28Speaker 5: single catch that game. So I was like, never again
- 24:31Speaker 5: with sky Moore. I thought he was out of the league.
- 24:33Speaker 5: To be honest. Now, I'm not an athlete like you, Joe,
- 24:36Speaker 5: but I do understand the fact that it doesn't matter
- 24:38Speaker 5: how good your quarterback is when you've got no reliable receivers.
- 24:43Speaker 3: And that offensive line too.
- 24:45Speaker 5: Let's talk about that with the Packers and Jordan Love
- 24:48Speaker 5: I Packers offensive line is a real concern green Bay
- 24:52Speaker 5: is a team I don't know. I mean, in the
- 24:54Speaker 5: floor we trust. I really respect the job he's done here,
- 24:57Speaker 5: but you know they always have a floor. En Bay
- 25:00Speaker 5: is one of those teams. It's never bad, right, But
- 25:03Speaker 5: I don't know what the ceiling is. Necessarily, this is
- 25:06Speaker 5: the team I was high on each of the last
- 25:07Speaker 5: two years, and they kind of like I mentioned last year,
- 25:10Speaker 5: I mean, the horrible blown lead of the playoffs to
- 25:13Speaker 5: Chicago that can't app.
- 25:16Speaker 3: So, I don't know.
- 25:17Speaker 5: I'm not as high on Green Bay as I was,
- 25:19Speaker 5: certainly at this point last season or even the year before.
- 25:22Speaker 1: What's the win total are? What are we looking at here?
- 25:26Speaker 2: If I'm not mistaken, it is it nine and a
- 25:28Speaker 2: half in that division?
- 25:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 25:32Speaker 4: Nine and a half? Yep, juice to the under.
- 25:35Speaker 2: I can't see them going over, guys, I mean that
- 25:37Speaker 2: to me, it's a nine and a half or pay.
- 25:40Speaker 2: I don't see them winning ten games again. Josh Jacobs
- 25:43Speaker 2: arrested in late May. Who knows what's gonna happen with that.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Michael Parsons won't be back to effect games until what
- 25:51Speaker 2: end of October November?
- 25:54Speaker 1: You know. Reid is like does every year. I don't know. Art.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I mean, you tell, where's their tied end. What's his status?
- 26:02Speaker 4: Yeah, Tucker Craft exactly what you mentioned. It's golden. He's
- 26:05Speaker 4: a former first round pick. It's gonna really come on
- 26:08Speaker 4: to him to become a guy, become the number one guy.
- 26:12Speaker 4: You draft a guy in the first round like that,
- 26:13Speaker 4: that's the production you're gonna expect from him eventually. What
- 26:16Speaker 4: is his third year? I mean, we got to get
- 26:20Speaker 4: there with him. But yeah, I mean this division is
- 26:22Speaker 4: one of those divisions where the win totals are all
- 26:25Speaker 4: kind of tight, where even Minnesota, who's the last in
- 26:28Speaker 4: the division, is still at eight and a half. I
- 26:30Speaker 4: mean most books are offering eight and a half. So,
- 26:33Speaker 4: I mean it's one of those divisions where the Lions
- 26:35Speaker 4: are clearly out front as the number one team. They're
- 26:38Speaker 4: going to play that soft schedule this year. They probably
- 26:41Speaker 4: should bounce back despite having some injuries and some question
- 26:44Speaker 4: marks as well with that team. But yeah, you can
- 26:48Speaker 4: make a case for all these teams to maybe go
- 26:51Speaker 4: under their win total, or even three of the four
- 26:53Speaker 4: teams to win the division. It's just one of those divisions.
- 26:56Speaker 4: It's kind of similar a lot to yesterday when we
- 26:59Speaker 4: were talking outside of you know, Browns, who had no
- 27:01Speaker 4: chance to win their division. There's a lot of people
- 27:03Speaker 4: making cases for three or four teams in this division.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:09Speaker 2: To me, the big question with Chicago is what they
- 27:11Speaker 2: went eleven games last year. I don't see that have
- 27:15Speaker 2: seven of those eleven wins were from behind and that
- 27:20Speaker 2: is just playing with fire. I mean the amount of
- 27:23Speaker 2: turn they were great at taking the ball away. Maybe
- 27:26Speaker 2: they could rub off on the Jets a little bit,
- 27:27Speaker 2: maybe the Jets eventually get a turnover, but at this point,
- 27:32Speaker 2: I mean, they were number one in takeaways, right, thirty
- 27:34Speaker 2: three total, twenty three interceptions. But usually they're always playing
- 27:39Speaker 2: from behind and then in the second half it's this
- 27:41Speaker 2: mad dash. Well, I don't know, BP can we trust
- 27:44Speaker 2: them to win eleven games again with that style of play?
- 27:48Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:50Speaker 5: No turnout stuff like you mentioned turnovers stuff, what I
- 27:53Speaker 5: mentioned earlier, the close game luck that fluctuates unless if
- 27:57Speaker 5: you're Mike Tomlin is no longer in the league, by
- 27:59Speaker 5: the way, that's enough to tends to fluctuate wildly year
- 28:03Speaker 5: over year. You know you mentioned the Jets, by the way,
- 28:05Speaker 5: are we just going to bet the Jets to record
- 28:07Speaker 5: an interception every game until they have. I think I'm
- 28:10Speaker 5: going to Week one. Who's the Who's who are the
- 28:13Speaker 5: Jets playing in Week one? I'm betting the opposed quarterback
- 28:16Speaker 5: over half an interception.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I can tell you that right now, High Year.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Oh my god, all right, well, I know we're getting
- 28:25Speaker 5: away from Robert sala.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Well, I guarantee you this Gino Smith will be intercepted
- 28:31Speaker 2: that I can promise you there that will absolutely happen.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Uh So, it sounds like none of us here are
- 28:36Speaker 2: sold on the NFC North.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Somebody running away. What wins the division? Let me ask
- 28:41Speaker 1: you that hard.
- 28:42Speaker 2: How many wins does it take to win the NFC
- 28:45Speaker 2: North this year? Is somebody gonna have to get to eleven?
- 28:49Speaker 4: I think the Lions will. I think the Lions will
- 28:50Speaker 4: win eleven games. I think they're the clear cut favorite.
- 28:52Speaker 4: I think they do win the division.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Be pee, what are you thinking?
- 28:57Speaker 5: And top to bottom kind of just to echo something
- 28:59Speaker 5: art set a minute go. I think this is the
- 29:01Speaker 5: toughest division in the NFL where there's.
- 29:05Speaker 3: No easy division games.
- 29:06Speaker 5: Almost every other division has, you know, at least one
- 29:10Speaker 5: crummy team. This one does not. There's no weeks off
- 29:13Speaker 5: of the NFC North. I besides Detroit, who else is
- 29:16Speaker 5: going to make the playoffs right now? I don't feel
- 29:18Speaker 5: comfortable answering that question, Joe, but I do feel pretty
- 29:22Speaker 5: comfortable and saying this is the toughest division top to
- 29:24Speaker 5: bottom in the entire sport.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I do think it is, yes, But you're right, all right,
- 29:28Speaker 2: somebody's got to win enough games and be able to
- 29:30Speaker 2: get it done when they devour themselves. And who's the
- 29:35Speaker 2: quarterback from Minnesota? And does it really make a difference.
- 29:38Speaker 2: I think that's going to be a very interesting wrench
- 29:41Speaker 2: that could get thrown into this division for sure. All Right, guys,
- 29:45Speaker 2: there you go the NFC North preview. We'll have another
- 29:48Speaker 2: one for you tomorrow. We'll switch back to the AFC.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Maybe we'll talk about the AFC East and Brian Power
- 29:55Speaker 2: betting the Jets to get at least what one takeaway
- 30:00Speaker 2: a game.
- 30:01Speaker 1: My goodness, I'll even take a fumble. I didn't even
- 30:03Speaker 1: have to be in.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Hender said, just give me like anything goes their way.
- 30:07Speaker 2: That would be outstanding. I'm telling you right now, they're
- 30:09Speaker 2: gonna end up winning like four games this year.
- 30:12Speaker 1: They should have no business.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Winning, and they're gonna get totally screwed and they're gonna
- 30:17Speaker 2: miss out on getting.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Any sort of quarterback for the future. It's coming.
- 30:21Speaker 2: All right, let's do major League baseball here. We got
- 30:24Speaker 2: a run down coming your way. We'll do this roundtable
- 30:28Speaker 2: style against some afternoon games getting ready to start, in fact,
- 30:32Speaker 2: one of them already underway. Rangers and Rays. At the
- 30:36Speaker 2: Trot Rays bounce back yesterday. McClanahan versus an Opera for Texas.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Who you leaning towards VP?
- 30:44Speaker 5: Mcclanahan's awesome at home in the Raise won yesterday despite
- 30:48Speaker 5: getting no hits in the last seven to two third
- 30:51Speaker 5: innings of that game, and they went with the bullpen game.
- 30:54Speaker 5: They're able to do that and win. Plan ahead on
- 30:56Speaker 5: the mom they should win again. You've mentioned already started,
- 30:59Speaker 5: but I would on first five with McClanahan.
- 31:01Speaker 3: I know it's juicy, but come on big edge there.
- 31:05Speaker 2: At the Trot Royals Twins Art Noah Cameron versus Bailey
- 31:09Speaker 2: Ober Royals actually won a game yesterday by out hitting
- 31:13Speaker 2: a team four nothing. Yesterday, I watched Salvatine Perez legout
- 31:17Speaker 2: of triple I almost fainted.
- 31:19Speaker 1: He was laying on the base like a beach whale.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I've never seen anything like it.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I was like, you can't and then they made him
- 31:25Speaker 2: hit a sacrifice fly and he had to run home.
- 31:27Speaker 2: It was just awful, the poor guy. But Royals do
- 31:31Speaker 2: they make it too And oh.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Here now, twins will win, twins will go over their
- 31:35Speaker 4: team total as well.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Oh, twins team total as well.
- 31:38Speaker 2: All right, Yankees and the White Sox Sierra Yankees have
- 31:42Speaker 2: won two out of the first three. Weathers versus Burke,
- 31:46Speaker 2: who we kidd in seven and a half?
- 31:48Speaker 1: Is the total? There?
- 31:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go with the Yankees in this one.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Cubs Cardinals. There, you were so spot on with that game?
- 31:58Speaker 2: Is your Cubs versus Cardinals? A sod versus Polante BP?
- 32:03Speaker 1: Who you gona with?
- 32:05Speaker 5: I want no part of this game? The Cardinals. Here's
- 32:07Speaker 5: the thing. We got lucky yesterday. They don't score a
- 32:10Speaker 5: lot at home. They're the lowest scoring team at home
- 32:12Speaker 5: in all of baseball, So my guess. And you know
- 32:16Speaker 5: they needed the tenth to get the three runs yesterday.
- 32:19Speaker 5: So maybe an under on getaway day here in Saint
- 32:22Speaker 5: Louis that maybe makes lost. All of the Cubs offense
- 32:24Speaker 5: has been cooking now for over a month. I think
- 32:26Speaker 5: they lead MLB and run scored since June eleven.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they were.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Somebody forgot through to invite them to the barbecue last
- 32:32Speaker 2: night because that didn't work out well. Marlins versus the Mets,
- 32:36Speaker 2: Uri Paranz versus McLean there are Marlins.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Have turned a corner.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Listen, Mets looked pretty good against the Braves and the
- 32:43Speaker 2: doubleheader yesterday.
- 32:44Speaker 1: What do you think here today?
- 32:46Speaker 4: And this is when you want to bet the Mets
- 32:47Speaker 4: when they have is Nolan on the mound? Yeah, I
- 32:51Speaker 4: mean I guess i'd lean Mets in this game.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Wow.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Seven as a total, that is an interesting number to
- 32:57Speaker 2: say the least. All right, Pirates at the Reds. We
- 33:01Speaker 2: talked about this game earlier. Reet Louder versus an opener
- 33:04Speaker 2: Ramirez for the Pirates nine and a half. If they
- 33:07Speaker 2: can't score runs these two lineups against these pitching staffs,
- 33:11Speaker 2: I don't.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Know what to tell you.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Over for me there Nats and Braves, they're bp Irvin
- 33:17Speaker 2: versus Holmes. You had mentioned this as part of your
- 33:20Speaker 2: parlay of the day. Was it a team total over?
- 33:23Speaker 5: Yes, NAP's team total over. They're going to get all
- 33:26Speaker 5: mine at bats. Obviously my rule they are the road team,
- 33:29Speaker 5: and I trust their offense, but I don't know what
- 33:31Speaker 5: we're gonna get out of Jake Irvin making his first
- 33:33Speaker 5: start in over two months. So let's just trust that
- 33:36Speaker 5: Nationals offense, which averages five point five runs per game.
- 33:39Speaker 3: They can go over four and a half and we cash.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Red Sox taking on the Athletics. Art you got Sonny
- 33:46Speaker 2: Gray on the mound versus Barnett will be open.
- 33:49Speaker 1: The list not making different.
- 33:50Speaker 2: The Athletics have no pitchers again is on the shelf now,
- 33:53Speaker 2: so they're calling up guys to spot.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Start and everything else.
- 33:58Speaker 2: But all three of these games in this series so far,
- 34:01Speaker 2: four runs has won it. I mean, it's been a
- 34:04Speaker 2: very slow offensive series.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Sonny Gray on the mound, what are you thinking here?
- 34:10Speaker 4: I mean, you gotta lean Red Sox. But to your point, show,
- 34:12Speaker 4: there's got to be some runs at some point, right,
- 34:14Speaker 4: I mean, at one point we'll probably see an over
- 34:18Speaker 4: in this series. But listen, the A's are a mess.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Are one of the worst teams in the league. Kurtz
- 34:22Speaker 4: got dinged last night as well. Red Sox are nothing.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Giants at the Padres Petco, one of the most pitcher
- 34:29Speaker 2: friendly parks, Robbie Ray has quietly been lights out here
- 34:33Speaker 2: now for well over a month for the Giants. The
- 34:36Speaker 2: Giants have lost everybody, Harrison, Bader Schmidt gone all on
- 34:41Speaker 2: the il. The Padres Bats will come alive, and believe
- 34:44Speaker 2: it or not, JP Sears has actually been pretty good,
- 34:48Speaker 2: shockingly enough here.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I think the Padres get it.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Done in that one that leaves Mariners and Dodgers BP
- 34:55Speaker 2: Brian Woo versus Sazaki?
- 34:58Speaker 1: Which Sazaki and Wu show up here today? Can you
- 35:01Speaker 1: tell us that?
- 35:02Speaker 5: Well, it's probably gonna be bad Wu because he's on
- 35:04Speaker 5: the road. His ERA is about four runs higher on
- 35:06Speaker 5: the road than it is at home. That's typically the
- 35:08Speaker 5: case with most of these Seattle starting pitchers. Kind of
- 35:11Speaker 5: like the over here, but the game probably doesn't go
- 35:13Speaker 5: over unless if one or both of these starters struggle.
- 35:17Speaker 5: We had talked about maybe a first five over in
- 35:19Speaker 5: this game on the morning wager. And there's one thing
- 35:22Speaker 5: I wanted to add about the A's. You guys talked
- 35:24Speaker 5: about how the how few runs have been scoring this
- 35:27Speaker 5: series with the Red Sox. There has not been a
- 35:29Speaker 5: four game series in West Sacramento all year where every
- 35:32Speaker 5: game has stayed under So it would be a first
- 35:35Speaker 5: games under tonight. As a matter of fact, only been
- 35:38Speaker 5: one series all year, and it was a three game
- 35:41Speaker 5: series back in April against the Royals, where every game
- 35:44Speaker 5: stayed under in West Sacramento.
- 35:46Speaker 3: So I don't know, Mark.
- 35:47Speaker 5: And I think was moving towards the under actually tonight,
- 35:50Speaker 5: which is kind of interesting.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Well, I think that's when they'll get burned there, but
- 35:54Speaker 2: likely they'll be a no hitter.
- 35:55Speaker 1: In this game. That's kind of what will happen there.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Hard baseball rundown.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Let's now take a look here at a couple of
- 36:04Speaker 2: long shots here, guys, do what you may at with these,
- 36:08Speaker 2: but are not gonna start with you. What are you
- 36:10Speaker 2: looking at on the board here for a long shot today?
- 36:14Speaker 4: Well, listen, we had done this yesterday. It was the
- 36:16Speaker 4: first time I got involved in the long shots and
- 36:18Speaker 4: press throughout the future. So I'm gonna throw a future
- 36:20Speaker 4: out too. Sure, we already talked about it. Give me
- 36:22Speaker 4: the pirates to make the playoffs. I think the price
- 36:24Speaker 4: is really nice. It's a nice long shot price, and
- 36:27Speaker 4: as Brian had spoken about, in the predictive markets, you
- 36:30Speaker 4: might only have to wait a week or four days
- 36:33Speaker 4: to make some money off of it so pirates. Yes, playoffs?
- 36:37Speaker 2: Ooh, what are you thinking? Bp long shot here? Today?
- 36:41Speaker 5: You're always throwing new segments at me, Joe, Let's go
- 36:45Speaker 5: with the Phillies not to make the playoffs.
- 36:47Speaker 1: What do you say? Ooh, you guys look grussy.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Yes, because then I'm sure the people viewing this right
- 36:54Speaker 2: now are very excited that you both gave them long
- 36:57Speaker 2: shots that can't cash for now the six months.
- 36:59Speaker 1: So I'm gonna give you a long shot to compass tonight. Guys.
- 37:03Speaker 1: How about we got you soldiers with the division.
- 37:06Speaker 4: Yeah, well, yeah, it's ridiculous.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Everything you needed to say started with the pres and
- 37:14Speaker 2: we didn't have to listen after that. It made total
- 37:16Speaker 2: sense as to what was going on there all right.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Long shot of the day for me is going to
- 37:22Speaker 2: be those Washington Nationals to get it done here tonight
- 37:26Speaker 2: against the Lanta Braves, even with Jake.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Irvin on the mound too. I don't know why he
- 37:32Speaker 1: came back.
- 37:32Speaker 2: But those are your long shots here, only one of them,
- 37:36Speaker 2: and actually we played today.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Nice job you guys.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Unfortunately it'll be this crew again tomorrow in twenty four hours,
