Todd Blanche Gets Blasted Over Withheld Foreign Language Epstein Documents (7/28/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. So I don't think it's any secret to
• 0:07
Speaker 1: anybody that's been listening to the podcast for any period
• 0:10
Speaker 1: of time that I'm not exactly what you would call
• 0:13
Speaker 1: a member of the Todd Blanche fan club. And the
• 0:17
Speaker 1: more information we get, the more we hear about this dude,
• 0:20
Speaker 1: the less I like him. And the fact that he's
• 0:23
Speaker 1: stalling the Epstein investigation and doing it so brazenly is
• 0:27
Speaker 1: just unbelievable to me. And what's even more unbelievable is
• 0:32
Speaker 1: that we actually have senators out there that are going
• 0:34
Speaker 1: to confirm this dude, because you know that's coming. I
• 0:38
Speaker 1: don't want anybody to get any kind of you know, excitement,
• 0:43
Speaker 1: going only to have it come crashing down. This guy's
• 0:46
Speaker 1: going to get confirmed. Those senators, they only dance to
• 0:50
Speaker 1: one tune, and that tune is the one being played
• 0:54
Speaker 1: by Donald Trump. So if we think that these senators
• 0:57
Speaker 1: are going to come in and save the day, I
• 0:59
Speaker 1: think going to be left highly disappointed when all is
• 1:02
Speaker 1: said and done, because I believe that Todd Blanche is
• 1:05
Speaker 1: going to get confirmed, and I also believe that he
• 1:07
Speaker 1: is highly unqualified for the job. Today's article was published
• 1:11
Speaker 1: by Raw Story and the headline Todd Blanch accused of
• 1:14
Speaker 1: withholding huge keys to new Ghlaine Maxwell charges. This article
• 1:19
Speaker 1: was authored by David Edwards. Acting Attorney General. Todd Blanche
• 1:23
Speaker 1: is withholding foreign language EPSTEIN documents that could be used
• 1:27
Speaker 1: to bring new charges against convicted sex trafficker Glaine Maxwell.
• 1:31
Speaker 1: A legal analyst has warned, Oh, there's no doubt about it.
• 1:36
Speaker 1: All those documents they say are unresponsive or duplicative. I
• 1:40
Speaker 1: have my doubts. And if they were really being transparent,
• 1:44
Speaker 1: they just release them. Right. If they're duplicative, release them
• 1:47
Speaker 1: and let us see. But instead all we get is pushback.
• 1:51
Speaker 1: It gets called the hoax. They tell us to move on.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: They say that it's just some kind of hit job
• 1:57
Speaker 1: on President Trump, when we all, well, no, it's something
• 2:00
Speaker 1: much larger than that. And then you add on top
• 2:03
Speaker 1: of all of that a guy like Todd Blanche that's
• 2:05
Speaker 1: willing to do whatever the president wants him to do,
• 2:08
Speaker 1: and we got ourselves quite the problem. Former ms NOW
• 2:13
Speaker 1: anchor and attorney Katie Fang, who personally sued Blanche over
• 2:17
Speaker 1: EPSTEIN file compliance and won a court order forcing him
• 2:20
Speaker 1: to act made the accusation on our YouTube channel. Her
• 2:24
Speaker 1: analysis was prompted by the death of modeling scout Daniel
• 2:28
Speaker 1: say Ed, sixty nine, found dead Monday at his home
• 2:32
Speaker 1: in the Paris suburb of Colomb's. BBC news were reported,
• 2:36
Speaker 1: and I still have a lot of questions about that.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: We're certainly not done talking about Daniel say Ed, but
• 2:42
Speaker 1: I'm trying to gather more information so that we have
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: a good baseline. I think that we've come to a
• 2:48
Speaker 1: point with that story as of now where we're pretty
• 2:51
Speaker 1: caught up. There's not much out there as far as information,
• 2:55
Speaker 1: and obviously, once we have something to bite our teeth into,
• 2:59
Speaker 1: we'll get that added to the catalog, because there's still
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: a big story there. I just don't think there's enough
• 3:04
Speaker 1: information to really dive in yet. As far as you
• 3:07
Speaker 1: know an episode now behind the scenes, you better believe
• 3:11
Speaker 1: I'm digging, especially considering the circumstances. But I think that
• 3:16
Speaker 1: Kadie Fang is certainly onto something. How many of these
• 3:19
Speaker 1: files are in a different language, How many of those
• 3:22
Speaker 1: files have not been released. Sayed was under French investigation
• 3:29
Speaker 1: for allegedly helping ron Epstein's international sex trafficking network French
• 3:33
Speaker 1: authorities had never interviewed him before he died. BBC News
• 3:37
Speaker 1: reported Fang argued as death made the Justice Department's handling
• 3:41
Speaker 1: of the case more urgent, not less. Well, this is
• 3:44
Speaker 1: the goal, and I hate to keep saying it, but
• 3:46
Speaker 1: this is the goal. They want people to pass away,
• 3:49
Speaker 1: they want evidence to be destroyed or lost, and they
• 3:52
Speaker 1: want people to move on. That's why they're not pursuing
• 3:55
Speaker 1: it the way they should. That's why it's not the
• 3:58
Speaker 1: biggest story in the whole world still, And unfortunately, it's
• 4:01
Speaker 1: a very effective strategy. Look at how many important people
• 4:05
Speaker 1: in this story have passed on. I mean, from Jeffrey
• 4:08
Speaker 1: Epstein to Jean Luke Brunel to Daniel si Ed to
• 4:12
Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts. A lot of people who knew a whole
• 4:17
Speaker 1: lot about Jeffrey Epstein. But I'm sure it's just a coincidence, right,
• 4:23
Speaker 1: According to Fang, the documents at the center of her
• 4:25
Speaker 1: accusation are foreign language materials from the Justice Department Epstein's investigation,
• 4:31
Speaker 1: none of which have been made public. On June twenty fifth,
• 4:34
Speaker 1: US District Judge Emmitt Sullivan ordered Blanche to begin reviewing
• 4:38
Speaker 1: and producing those materials. Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act,
• 4:42
Speaker 1: a bipartisan law Trump signed in November twenty twenty five
• 4:47
Speaker 1: requiring the full release of Epstein related records. Had his
• 4:51
Speaker 1: arm twisted, and if it wasn't veto proof, he probably
• 4:55
Speaker 1: would have vetoed it. And I think that's just damning.
• 5:00
Speaker 1: Imagine having a president that would veto a bill like that.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: It's hard to wrap your mind around it. But here
• 5:06
Speaker 1: we are. Blanche missed the July second deadline. In a
• 5:11
Speaker 1: court filing that day, the Justice Department argued it was
• 5:15
Speaker 1: not practicable to review foreign language documents and that the
• 5:19
Speaker 1: court should not supplant Congress's acceptance of this explanation, which
• 5:23
Speaker 1: again is a big middle finger to the judge in
• 5:25
Speaker 1: this case, who has told them, I don't give a
• 5:28
Speaker 1: damn about your it's not practicable excuse. Fang said, go
• 5:31
Speaker 1: ahead and do what you're already seven months behind on.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: And that's really what it comes down to. The law
• 5:38
Speaker 1: says one thing, the Justice Department is doing another. Now,
• 5:43
Speaker 1: what if you tried that? I wonder how that would
• 5:46
Speaker 1: work out. I'm guessing not so well. These foreign language
• 5:51
Speaker 1: documents that nobody has even seen, they could be big,
• 5:54
Speaker 1: huge keys to being able to continue to link and
• 5:57
Speaker 1: connect all these sexual predators. She added, Maxwell is serving
• 6:01
Speaker 1: a twenty year US prison sentence for sex trafficking, but
• 6:04
Speaker 1: has never faced charges in France, where she was born
• 6:07
Speaker 1: and old citizenship. Blanche spent nine hours interviewing her over
• 6:12
Speaker 1: two days in July of twenty twenty five, according to
• 6:15
Speaker 1: NBC News, and gave survivors just ninety minutes after a
• 6:19
Speaker 1: three hundred and seventy four day wait. According to a
• 6:22
Speaker 1: reconstruction by journalist Tara Palmery, Well, that's true. He had
• 6:27
Speaker 1: way more desire to sit down with Maxwell than with
• 6:29
Speaker 1: the survivors, and I wonder why. I'm sure it had
• 6:33
Speaker 1: nothing to do with a little quid pro quo. Right
• 6:38
Speaker 1: one week after those meetings with Maxwell, she was moved
• 6:41
Speaker 1: to a low security Florida facility to a minimum security
• 6:44
Speaker 1: prison camp and Brian, Texas, NBC News reported, a facility
• 6:49
Speaker 1: where a Bureau of Prison's policy generally bars sex offenders.
• 6:54
Speaker 1: Bang argued that Maxwell could still face prosecution in France
• 6:57
Speaker 1: if investigators can build the case. And that's true, and
• 7:01
Speaker 1: she can also face stay charges. Let's not forget dual sovereignty.
• 7:07
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell has only been prosecuted for crimes that are
• 7:10
Speaker 1: specific jurisdictionally to the Southern District of New York. Fang said,
• 7:14
Speaker 1: it doesn't mean that she can't be extraduided to France. Well,
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: I don't know if I want to do that. I'd
• 7:20
Speaker 1: much rather Glenn Maxwell rotting in prison here now after
• 7:23
Speaker 1: her sentence is up. Cool after the twenty All right,
• 7:27
Speaker 1: right over to France for a more jail sentence. Count
• 7:30
Speaker 1: me in building that case, Fang has argued requires France
• 7:35
Speaker 1: to appoint an investigating judge, a judicial official with the
• 7:38
Speaker 1: power to subpoenal witnesses and compel testimony in its ongoing
• 7:42
Speaker 1: probe targeting former Elite model's boss Gerald Marie, who Fang
• 7:46
Speaker 1: said faces six new victim complaints filed last week. And
• 7:50
Speaker 1: we've talked about Gerald Marie for years here and how
• 7:53
Speaker 1: he was part of the problem, one of the Jean
• 7:56
Speaker 1: Luke Brunel crew, another guy that was friendly with Epstein
• 8:00
Speaker 1: and when you know it, another guy accused of being
• 8:03
Speaker 1: a disgusting diddler. Maybe the silver lining from him dying
• 8:06
Speaker 1: on Monday night is that the investigating judge gets a
• 8:09
Speaker 1: sign more quickly. In the Gerald Marie case, Fang said
• 8:13
Speaker 1: Sayed was the second Epstein associate to die before French investigators.
• 8:17
Speaker 1: Good question on BBC News were reported and yo, one
• 8:22
Speaker 1: time around, Okay, maybe a coincidence two times now I
• 8:26
Speaker 1: have some doubts. But even if it was a situation
• 8:30
Speaker 1: where they both took their own lives, what does that
• 8:33
Speaker 1: tell you about what they know, what they're scared of,
• 8:35
Speaker 1: what they don't want to say, tells me a whole lot.
• 8:40
Speaker 1: Modeling agent Jean lu Brunel was found hanged in a
• 8:42
Speaker 1: Paris prison in twenty twenty two while awaiting trial on
• 8:46
Speaker 1: a rape and sex trafficking charges. An important link in
• 8:50
Speaker 1: the chain has just vanished into thin air without there
• 8:53
Speaker 1: ever being a chance to recover the information Daniel Sayed
• 8:56
Speaker 1: might have possessed, and given that he was never questioned,
• 9:00
Speaker 1: and a former model who gave a deposition to French
• 9:02
Speaker 1: police in June told the BBC and that's really what
• 9:05
Speaker 1: it comes down to. When you have somebody like Daniel
• 9:07
Speaker 1: Sayed who ends up dying mysteriously directly after he's been
• 9:13
Speaker 1: named in the Epstein files, people are gonna have questions,
• 9:15
Speaker 1: right and now, of course there's gonna be an autopsy,
• 9:18
Speaker 1: there's gonna be an investigation and we're gonna be asked
• 9:22
Speaker 1: to accept whatever results they come up with. And look,
• 9:26
Speaker 1: I'm not saying we should just out of hand not
• 9:28
Speaker 1: accept results. We should. If there's some concrete evidence, then yeah,
• 9:33
Speaker 1: that should be accepted. My problem is that we never
• 9:35
Speaker 1: get concrete evidence. Instead, we get more stories, we get
• 9:39
Speaker 1: more bullshit, and it ends up leading to something like this.
• 9:43
Speaker 1: And then of course everything that Daniel Sayed might know
• 9:46
Speaker 1: or might have known, is gone. So that's one more
• 9:50
Speaker 1: piece of a puzzle, one more link of the chain
• 9:53
Speaker 1: that we're not gonna have access to, and that makes
• 9:55
Speaker 1: things much harder. The less information we have, the harder
• 9:59
Speaker 1: it's going to be to put the together. The idea
• 10:02
Speaker 1: is to have as much context as possible, and when
• 10:04
Speaker 1: a guy like Daniel Saied dies, well that context dies
• 10:08
Speaker 1: with them. So I think Katie fangs onto something here.
• 10:11
Speaker 1: And there's no reason that the DOJ shouldn't release the
• 10:14
Speaker 1: files that are in different languages. Unfortunately, what they should
• 10:17
Speaker 1: do and what they will do are two very different things.
• 10:21
Speaker 1: So as we get more information from this investigation and
• 10:24
Speaker 1: we find out more about the passing of Daniel say Ed,
• 10:27
Speaker 1: will get that added to the catalog. All the information
• 10:31
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: description box.
