Sixteen new student leaders from across Kentucky are stepping into the Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council for the 2026-2027 school year, bringing fresh voices and returning perspectives to shape education policy. Selected from 70 applicants, this diverse group — including students from special education programs and career tech schools — will meet regularly with Commissioner Robbie Fletcher to discuss how state decisions impact classrooms.
