GH¢24.8 billion disbursed to statutory funds since January 2026 -Ato Forson

Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson has announced that the government has disbursed GH¢24.8 billion to various statutory funds and critical public programmes since January 2026.
The significant capital injection follows the release of third-quarter statutory allocations aimed at ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of essential public services.
According to the finance minister, the funds have been distributed to key sectors to support infrastructure, healthcare, education, road maintenance, and local community development across the country.
