- 0:42Speaker 2: Tampa Bay's best music is Magia nine.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Welcome to another episode of Scotti and Abby Unfiltered. What
- 0:51Speaker 1: a weekend history has officially been made. I feel like
- 0:55Speaker 1: this is the moment in my life that if you
- 0:58Speaker 1: would have asked me what was going to happen in anuary,
- 1:00Speaker 1: I would have said no way.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And I would have said, as it is on the
- 1:04Speaker 2: record that this happening.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I am so excited to be able to share what
- 1:12Speaker 1: happened over the weekend, one of the best things and
- 1:16Speaker 1: the best conversations I have had, and how that has
- 1:19Speaker 1: forever changed me. And we're going to talk about that
- 1:22Speaker 1: in a second. But I do also want to know
- 1:23Speaker 1: because we had our Corona like pool party yesterday, and
- 1:28Speaker 1: so that's why my voice is pretty rough right now
- 1:30Speaker 1: because trying to talk over people while there's a DJ that's.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Just just wrex me.
- 1:36Speaker 2: It's exhausting.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So we were out there in the sun having drinks,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and as soon as I got back, I got a
- 1:41Speaker 1: text from Abby that.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Was like, you need to know the text that I
- 1:45Speaker 3: just got.
- 1:46Speaker 1: So I have no idea what is about to be
- 1:48Speaker 1: talked about, what was shared, what is the tea that
- 1:49Speaker 1: is about to be spilled. But my main question right
- 1:52Speaker 1: away is did it have something to do with said party?
- 1:56Speaker 2: No, okay, nothing to do with the party, has nothing
- 1:59Speaker 2: to do with you. Oh god, I have nothing to
- 2:01Speaker 2: do with the the day ending splash you gave for
- 2:05Speaker 2: the girls and I'm just kidding. No, No, You're totally fine.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Has nothing to do with you. And everything to do
- 2:11Speaker 2: with the curse that may have been lifted upon me. Oh,
- 2:14Speaker 2: I still feel like we need to hire a nutsy witch.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I still feel like we need to do a sage ritual.
- 2:19Speaker 2: But last week I was talking about how I feel
- 2:22Speaker 2: like I had this curse on me that guys will
- 2:26Speaker 2: ask me out and then just disappear, like they do
- 2:30Speaker 2: the hard part and then they never follow through. I'm like,
- 2:32Speaker 2: what is happening to where all these things are are
- 2:35Speaker 2: going on to where I'm getting asked out by these
- 2:38Speaker 2: guys that I'm into and then something just something just
- 2:41Speaker 2: happens to where they just run off into the out.
- 2:44Speaker 1: So many times, like it's so interesting because we've had
- 2:47Speaker 1: a couple like good looking guys that we've like even
- 2:50Speaker 1: you've met out in public or you like found them
- 2:53Speaker 1: and you're having great conversation online and we're like, oh
- 2:55Speaker 1: my god, they're doing the thing, and literally we never
- 2:58Speaker 1: hear from them. It's not even like a Okay, no,
- 3:01Speaker 1: I can't it's no other message.
- 3:04Speaker 3: God.
- 3:06Speaker 2: So anyway, I think I can't remember if it was
- 3:08Speaker 2: last week of the week before, but I was telling
- 3:10Speaker 2: you that one of our coworkers is setting me up
- 3:12Speaker 2: with somebody. Yes. So we're at a raise game. One
- 3:17Speaker 2: of our salespeople was like, oh my god, you're so cute,
- 3:19Speaker 2: and I was like, I know, and she goes, I
- 3:21Speaker 2: know someone who's super cute. Do you want me to
- 3:22Speaker 2: set you up with them? And I was like, okay.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I remember she showed me a photo for the gun.
- 3:27Speaker 2: To my head, I could not tell you what this
- 3:29Speaker 2: man looks like. I was like, I remember him having
- 3:33Speaker 2: long brown hair, and that's my one thing. And I
- 3:35Speaker 2: was like, yeah, I'll go all with them.
- 3:36Speaker 3: That dude has hair, sign has long brown hair.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I'm in and he has a house. Sure fire me up.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So anyway, I say yes to this date and then
- 3:45Speaker 2: I like, never hear anything about it again, except she
- 3:48Speaker 2: keeps texting me being like, oh my god, let me
- 3:49Speaker 2: know what he says, like I want all the tea.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I'm like, girl, like, there's no tea, And so in
- 3:54Speaker 2: my head I'm thinking, okay, somewhere along the line, like
- 3:58Speaker 2: she passed on my information and he was like hell no,
- 4:01Speaker 2: like absolutely not, or like maybe he was into it,
- 4:04Speaker 2: but then was kind of, you know, maybe his other hose.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 4:07Speaker 2: You got a roster, he's got a roster. So I
- 4:09Speaker 2: just I was like, whatever is never happening. But our
- 4:11Speaker 2: salesperson was like, at the very least, like one day
- 4:13Speaker 2: we'll get out on the boat. I was like, well,
- 4:15Speaker 2: maybe I'm getting a boat day out of this.
- 4:16Speaker 3: The very least, at least there's a win. At least
- 4:18Speaker 3: there's a boat.
- 4:19Speaker 2: So anyway, long story short, I run into one of
- 4:24Speaker 2: our sales lady's friends out at the Sapphire, this new
- 4:28Speaker 2: club that just opened up near Eddie Vee's.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I am, okay, just I hate to take it on
- 4:33Speaker 1: a quick tangent. I'm so freaking jealous. I saw this
- 4:36Speaker 1: place open up, uh huh, every bit of me wanted
- 4:38Speaker 1: to go. So, like this place is supposed to be
- 4:40Speaker 1: like fifties themed, yes, where it's like cocktail lounge, live music,
- 4:44Speaker 1: but it's like, I don't know, like fifties music where
- 4:47Speaker 1: it's like, what is it a guy in a piano.
- 4:48Speaker 2: It's it feels like it's New Year's Eve every night
- 4:51Speaker 2: at their place. Like that's that's how they're selling it.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You and your lady would love it.
- 4:54Speaker 3: How actually did you go in?
- 4:55Speaker 2: So I made a new friend, a new connection here
- 4:57Speaker 2: in Tampa that I'm like, uh, so, I guess this
- 5:00Speaker 2: is another side tangent. I made a connection here in
- 5:03Speaker 2: Tampa through just some business things. And this person who
- 5:07Speaker 2: just keeps inviting me to the most exclusive things in
- 5:10Speaker 2: Tampa Like it's actually so sick. I'm like, oh, this
- 5:12Speaker 2: is lovely, Like thank you for bringing me out. I'm
- 5:15Speaker 2: so grateful that you you think I'm cool enough to
- 5:17Speaker 2: come to these places.
- 5:18Speaker 3: That is so sick.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Like Abby literally came into Tampa Bay already has one
- 5:22Speaker 1: of the biggest, like matchmaking profiles in the area. Going
- 5:25Speaker 1: to the most exclusive events. The aura that you bring
- 5:29Speaker 1: is insane. I am so jealous.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Yes, this person took me to stow Ball House. Have
- 5:32Speaker 2: you heard of Stowvall House.
- 5:33Speaker 1: No, see, I'm not even that fanstuses.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I don't know anything.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Apparently, so Stoveall House is like the Soho House of
- 5:41Speaker 2: Tampa because there's no Soho House here. And if you
- 5:44Speaker 2: don't know what Soho House is, Soho House is it's
- 5:48Speaker 2: a member's social clubs. You pay a fee and then
- 5:52Speaker 2: you have access to all these houses all around the world.
- 5:54Speaker 2: They have like pools, hotels, restaurants, all these things. We
- 5:57Speaker 2: don't have one. Timpa's like ooh yet, but we have
- 5:59Speaker 2: Stowball House, which might be cooler than so all the
- 6:02Speaker 2: SOHO houses combine. It's like this old historic home that's
- 6:06Speaker 2: been restored into a member's club. So you pay a
- 6:09Speaker 2: fee and there's a restaurant, there's gardens, there's events, there's
- 6:13Speaker 2: what a bar. It's it's so cool. I'm trying to
- 6:16Speaker 2: think of what I want to compare it to. But
- 6:17Speaker 2: it feels like you're in some rich, old billionaires home.
- 6:24Speaker 2: But he's throwing a house party. Yes, that's what it
- 6:27Speaker 2: feels like. There's Picasso's on the wall. I mean, I
- 6:29Speaker 2: don't even know if I'm really allowed to talk about this,
- 6:31Speaker 2: but it's sick. And what's crazy is so I'm just kidding.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I'm like, whatever I'm going, I'm thinking, I'm just like,
- 6:37Speaker 2: I'm going to stand how house. I meet this guy
- 6:38Speaker 2: for ABEV last week to you know, talk about business
- 6:41Speaker 2: and stuff, and I remember I was holding my phone,
- 6:45Speaker 2: and I remember that we were in this conversation because
- 6:47Speaker 2: this guy just knows everybody, He's very well connected. And
- 6:50Speaker 2: so we're talking to these two people and this woman
- 6:53Speaker 2: keeps looking down at my phone and I'm feeling so
- 6:55Speaker 2: embarrassed I'm like, oh my god, like my cat photo,
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'm really like such a slot because I you know,
- 7:00Speaker 2: I just dressed up kind of like in smart casually.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I have like a pink pencil skirt on or something.
- 7:04Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh, maybe I should have been a
- 7:05Speaker 2: little bit more old money looking because it feels very
- 7:08Speaker 2: country clubby. And this woman keeps looking down on my phone.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I'm like, Okay, this is so embarrassing. So I sit
- 7:12Speaker 2: down and he goes, hey, I'm just letting you know
- 7:14Speaker 2: you can't use your phone here. Oh oh, she was
- 7:17Speaker 2: looking at my phone. She thought I was like recorded
- 7:19Speaker 2: or something.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oh Jesus, you're about to get taken out before you
- 7:21Speaker 1: even started.
- 7:22Speaker 3: No.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Meanwhile, I just gotten out of my uber. I have
- 7:24Speaker 2: my headphones all wired around the phone, my cat on
- 7:27Speaker 2: my home screen.
- 7:28Speaker 3: I don't belong in this place.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I'm in my I'm in my dsw heels that I've
- 7:32Speaker 2: had since the eleventh grade. Like it's yeah, I'm like,
- 7:35Speaker 2: I don't belong here. So anyway, he took me to a
- 7:37Speaker 2: still wall house and then invited me to the Sapphire
- 7:40Speaker 2: the next night to interact with more people.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It's great, good Lord, I don't like, where is one?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Where's the extended invite?
- 7:47Speaker 2: Well? I was like, I'm the plus one of the
- 7:49Speaker 2: you know, I mean like I'm the plus one, So
- 7:50Speaker 2: I don't know that I get the plus one, you
- 7:52Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 7:52Speaker 3: And this is the guy that I got to meet
- 7:53Speaker 3: at the party.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yes, okay, and so one of his he has a
- 7:57Speaker 2: business connection with Papa Bagels. So he's going to drop
- 8:00Speaker 2: Papa Biggles to us later this week.
- 8:01Speaker 3: That's freaking crazy, you know, I don't it's who you know,
- 8:04Speaker 3: it's really who you know.
- 8:06Speaker 2: But I thought it was cool that he wanted to
- 8:07Speaker 2: know me. I was like, what, that's really sick.
- 8:10Speaker 1: That's place you have made a splash in this area.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Like that is so cool talking to you again side tangent.
- 8:14Speaker 1: But like I talked to people, I'm like, yeah, you know,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I mean, I got a show going on. They're like,
- 8:18Speaker 1: oh my god, I see you're all over my pages. Yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 1: that's because that girl is a genius when it comes
- 8:23Speaker 1: to content.
- 8:23Speaker 3: So kudos to you.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I'm glad it's getting you into places that I don't
- 8:26Speaker 1: even know about. Fantastic.
- 8:27Speaker 3: I've only been here for twelve I'm gonna.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Get you into Stowall house. I'm gonna make you my
- 8:31Speaker 2: plus one plus one.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Oh my god, extend the invite because it is very cool.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I'm like, I can't afford to be here, but I
- 8:35Speaker 2: do love coming here for above.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Is there any idea of like what it costs?
- 8:39Speaker 1: I it has to be stupid expensive if it's going
- 8:42Speaker 1: to be like that kind of membership I'm thinking to
- 8:44Speaker 1: be a member.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I think there's a waiting list, Like I think you
- 8:47Speaker 2: have to get sponsored by a member. Okay, first of all,
- 8:50Speaker 2: let me show you the photo.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Oh lord, that it's like a yearly membership. I'm gonna say,
- 8:55Speaker 3: oh my god, where is this.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It's on Base Shore. It's like four miles from where
- 8:59Speaker 2: I live.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Holy crap. That looks like it's a big, beautiful white house.
- 9:04Speaker 1: And if it's on Bay Short, it's right on the
- 9:05Speaker 1: most beautiful part of Tampa Bay.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I'm so okay, you know what, it's actually not as
- 9:11Speaker 2: bad as I thought it was gonna be.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Okay, you or less ten thousand.
- 9:14Speaker 2: You can be a junior member, so up until you're
- 9:16Speaker 2: thirty five. Oh, that's like your The initiation fee is
- 9:20Speaker 2: five k okay, and the monthly dues are three hundred.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Okay, so not as much as I was thinking.
- 9:27Speaker 2: That's well, let me tell you what the what the
- 9:29Speaker 2: once you all hit once you hit thirty six, which
- 9:32Speaker 2: I guess makes sense because I'm assuming if you're a
- 9:33Speaker 2: big business person in Tampa, like you know this is,
- 9:36Speaker 2: you're gonna be making enough money to where I don't know,
- 9:37Speaker 2: maybe this is a business.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Right as long as you can make it work for
- 9:40Speaker 3: your business, use it.
- 9:42Speaker 2: So the initiation fee if you're thirty six years or
- 9:45Speaker 2: older is thirty K, and then the monthly dues are
- 9:48Speaker 2: three twenty five. All right, it is pretty crazy that.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I mean, if you're young, you can join for literally nothing.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I mean not literally nothing, but compared to thirty k,
- 9:58Speaker 2: I am crazy.
- 9:59Speaker 1: But again, like I think of, the big thing is
- 10:00Speaker 1: like sometimes you hear those numbers and you're like, oh
- 10:02Speaker 1: my god, I made one connection in my life, Like
- 10:04Speaker 1: literally I got a coach, and I remember I got
- 10:06Speaker 1: a coach, and I was like, oh my god, this
- 10:07Speaker 1: is such an expense. That coach, within like a couple
- 10:10Speaker 1: of weeks was able to help me get the rays
- 10:12Speaker 1: that I've always wanted in this building, like within weeks
- 10:15Speaker 1: of hiring. So it's not even like, oh my god,
- 10:18Speaker 1: it's so much money. It's what you could do when
- 10:20Speaker 1: you're now in those rooms. So if you spend that
- 10:23Speaker 1: and you meet the right person when you're in this
- 10:24Speaker 1: house I'm maybe not how to spell this name, that
- 10:27Speaker 1: could help you get a job that you're making so
- 10:30Speaker 1: much more than maybe you're making.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Now, that's the whole benefit, honestly, I think. I mean,
- 10:34Speaker 2: especially up until thirty five, when you really need to
- 10:36Speaker 2: build your network. I mean, it's a lot of money.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I'm not trying to be like, oh it's only five
- 10:40Speaker 2: thousand dollars and then it's a lot. It's a lot
- 10:42Speaker 2: of money. But if you if you're in business, I
- 10:44Speaker 2: mean I see how it would be a huge benefit.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Heck yeah, especially like entrepreneurs that are like I need
- 10:49Speaker 1: somebody to help fund this invest that's dope.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Most of the food's really good.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I mean, it wouldn't hurt.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I had some hot chocolatechip cookies. They were religious.
- 10:56Speaker 3: The foods really good. The chocolate chip cookies are the
- 11:00Speaker 3: king there.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Anyway, I've taken us on a crazy tangent. What were
- 11:02Speaker 2: we talking about?
- 11:03Speaker 3: The guy?
- 11:04Speaker 1: So you're ending the spell, So you were talking about
- 11:06Speaker 1: how you went to the Sapphire and the guy that
- 11:09Speaker 1: Scotty was hooking you up with.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, where were we in the story?
- 11:15Speaker 3: You got to the point where you went to the sapphire.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Okay, so I went to the Sapphire. Oh, and so
- 11:18Speaker 2: I was again this guy knows everybody. So he goes, oh,
- 11:21Speaker 2: I want you to meet my friend Blue blah blo
- 11:23Speaker 2: boo boo. And I go, oh, hey. And so it's
- 11:24Speaker 2: this woman. And so I'm chatting with this woman. She's
- 11:26Speaker 2: so nice, and I'm telling her what I do for work,
- 11:29Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, yeah, I work for Magic ninety
- 11:31Speaker 2: four nine. And she goes, oh my god, like my
- 11:32Speaker 2: best best friend is a salesperson for Cox Media Group.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I was like, who is it. She goes, Oh, it's
- 11:36Speaker 2: blah blah blah blah blah. I was like, are you
- 11:39Speaker 2: judy me?
- 11:40Speaker 3: I love her.
- 11:41Speaker 2: So we took a selfie and we sent it to her.
- 11:43Speaker 2: And I think it's that selfie that maybe nudged things along,
- 11:46Speaker 2: because then Sunday night, I finally get a text message
- 11:50Speaker 2: from that mutual friend. Because I was talking to that woman.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, I was laughing with her. I
- 11:55Speaker 2: was like, look at my text messages with blah blah blah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: because we're literally just talking about this guy that she's
- 12:00Speaker 2: trying to set me up with. I'm like, he won't
- 12:02Speaker 2: hit me up. I don't know what's going on. So
- 12:03Speaker 2: we were laughing about that. So anyway, I think bumping
- 12:05Speaker 2: into her nudge things along. So then I eventually got
- 12:09Speaker 2: a text message from this man on Sunday.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Oh my god, so we actually got something finally. Yeah,
- 12:13Speaker 3: it's amazing. He was.
- 12:15Speaker 2: He was very enthusiastic, which I'm glad he was because
- 12:17Speaker 2: I was kind of like, I feel like his mom
- 12:19Speaker 2: is just like gun to his head, like Texas girl, you.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Better text her right now, and if you don't, you're
- 12:23Speaker 3: browning my friendship.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I'm sure he was just busy like that was my
- 12:26Speaker 1: kind of assumption, is one he's busy too. It's always
- 12:29Speaker 1: interesting when a friend's trying to hook you up because
- 12:31Speaker 1: you're like, is the actual person interested in me?
- 12:34Speaker 3: Yes?
- 12:34Speaker 1: Like are they truly? Are you just trying to do
- 12:36Speaker 1: this again when you set me up with somebody? But
- 12:38Speaker 1: he did text you now as is there something on
- 12:41Speaker 1: the books?
- 12:42Speaker 2: So I'll fill you in. I feel bad I'm putting
- 12:45Speaker 2: this dude on blast boat.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Yeah, like he doesn't have.
- 12:48Speaker 1: The weird thing about this job is that could also
- 12:50Speaker 1: be our faults of like we always talk about these things,
- 12:52Speaker 1: and the person hears that, they're like, Okay, this is
- 12:55Speaker 1: not what I signed up for, So you are more
- 12:57Speaker 1: than welcome to say you know what.
- 12:58Speaker 3: That's where it is.
- 12:59Speaker 2: And well, I'll basically just tell you that he texted
- 13:02Speaker 2: me a jiff of some guy dunking and he said, Hey,
- 13:05Speaker 2: it's blah blah blah, my mom, give me your number.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure this is how she feels right now
- 13:09Speaker 2: with the dunk like the same dog. And I was like, oh,
- 13:11Speaker 2: it's so nice. And then we basically just started talking
- 13:13Speaker 2: about when we're gonna link up, and I haven't heard anything.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I love that.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Okay, it started now now it's just again, it's just
- 13:20Speaker 1: having fun and seeing what happens, and I like and
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'll end it after this just in case he finds
- 13:25Speaker 1: a way to listen to this.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Oh they always listen.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I know he's listening.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Actually, let's wave to him right now.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Hey, Well, I was gonna give him kudos because that
- 13:33Speaker 1: opening text is actually really cool.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I was really sweet. Here's my question though, and I'll
- 13:37Speaker 2: bring this up. And I have no shame in him
- 13:39Speaker 2: hearing this because I would bring this up. So he
- 13:43Speaker 2: texted me, he goes, Actually, I've been listening to your
- 13:45Speaker 2: station every time I go into work in the morning.
- 13:47Speaker 2: You've got a new fan. You guys are crushing it.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, that's so nice. But then
- 13:51Speaker 2: this is where I got confusing. So then I responded,
- 13:53Speaker 2: blah blah blah blah blah. He sends me another text
- 13:56Speaker 2: and she goes, She goes, and he goes, is your
- 13:59Speaker 2: work in norm nine to five? I'd love to meet
- 14:02Speaker 2: you soon? And I was like, so, if you're listening
- 14:05Speaker 2: to me in the morning, are you are? You know
- 14:09Speaker 2: I am not at work from nine to five. I'm like, so,
- 14:13Speaker 2: I'm like, is he listening? Is he lying to me
- 14:15Speaker 2: just to butter me.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Up this to get you all?
- 14:18Speaker 1: Is he accidentally listening to Alexia thinking it's.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Oh my god, he's following him up with Alexia thinking
- 14:24Speaker 2: it's me that's so funny. But then I'm thinking, is
- 14:27Speaker 2: he listening to Unfiltered thinking it's the full time job?
- 14:31Speaker 3: Oh man?
- 14:32Speaker 1: I mean, if he's listening and Unfiltered, well at least
- 14:35Speaker 1: he's getting the full version of you. Yeah, at least
- 14:38Speaker 1: he knows what he's stepping into. If he hasn't, well
- 14:41Speaker 1: he's in for a nice surprise. Get a little nine
- 14:44Speaker 1: am action, you know, maybe goes into work a little later.
- 14:46Speaker 2: He just hears us during the commercial free hour.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, just having like a little seven seconds chat.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I hope everything, Like I I hope the first date
- 14:54Speaker 1: is really fun because I've heard a lot of fun
- 14:56Speaker 1: dates that from friends recently where it's like I was
- 14:59Speaker 1: talking to friend yesterday They're like, yeah, our first date
- 15:01Speaker 1: was a Savannah Banana's game, and I was like, what
- 15:03Speaker 1: a legendary first date.
- 15:05Speaker 3: That sets the bar so high. Though, but this.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Guy seems like you would do something that would be
- 15:11Speaker 1: not in that same vein, but different than just like
- 15:14Speaker 1: a let's go meet for something super casual like coffee,
- 15:19Speaker 1: Like it might be a little extra spicy than that.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Here's the thing. I'm happy to meet.
- 15:23Speaker 1: For coffee, I know, but it has to be like
- 15:24Speaker 1: maybe a cool coffee shop, like a coffee in a walk.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Like it seems like he's willing to do the extra step,
- 15:31Speaker 1: which I love when guys do this because I'm like, guys,
- 15:34Speaker 1: if you want to be somebody that stands out literally,
- 15:37Speaker 1: just do like one step more because so many guys
- 15:39Speaker 1: are like, all right, I'm just going to say what's
- 15:41Speaker 1: up and when we set up a date, and I'm
- 15:43Speaker 1: just gonna leave it at that. I'm like, put a
- 15:44Speaker 1: little effort in, like you know most people or they're
- 15:47Speaker 1: not asking for much, they're just asking for effort. Be
- 15:50Speaker 1: that person that does the extra step.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I just want to make a go on a date
- 15:54Speaker 2: with me?
- 15:54Speaker 3: Well that would help to at this point.
- 15:56Speaker 2: I'm like, can we get to the date. But I'm like, yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 2: I'm when it comes to the beginning a relationship, I
- 16:01Speaker 2: just want to meet and see if we vibe and
- 16:04Speaker 2: and then go from there. Because I will say, I'm
- 16:06Speaker 2: a little bit nervous about dating someone who knows somebody
- 16:09Speaker 2: at work. Yeah, but that makes sense, Yes, Oh it
- 16:11Speaker 2: absolutely doesn't. And I'm like, I'm a little nervous because
- 16:15Speaker 2: I don't want to what if I don't like him,
- 16:17Speaker 2: you know what I mean? And then isn't going to
- 16:18Speaker 2: be become a thing?
- 16:19Speaker 3: Well I did.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I had a situation a couple months ago, and I'm like,
- 16:22Speaker 1: when I was just stepping into the dating scene and
- 16:25Speaker 1: we had like this whole friend circle, and then me
- 16:27Speaker 1: and this person were kind of talking and once that
- 16:31Speaker 1: like completely crumbled like fire and flames, Like I haven't
- 16:35Speaker 1: been able to talk to the rest of the friend group.
- 16:37Speaker 1: It's been months now, and I'm like, oh, that kind
- 16:39Speaker 1: of sucks. I feel like I should reach out individually.
- 16:41Speaker 1: But I'm like, also, maybe that was the chapter that
- 16:43Speaker 1: needed to close everything.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I don't think that.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Would happen in your case as long as nobody does
- 16:48Speaker 1: anything insane now.
- 16:50Speaker 2: And let's say I haven't done anything insane in my
- 16:53Speaker 2: dating relationships in the past, but it's ever too late.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Maybe he's crazy.
- 16:58Speaker 3: I don't know, you know, it would be fun. I mean,
- 17:00Speaker 3: I think it's going to be fun.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I'm excited for the first date whenever that happens, whatever
- 17:04Speaker 1: it is, and we don't have to share anything.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Else about it. That's well.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I mean, we haven't set up anything yet, so we'll
- 17:08Speaker 2: see if you text me back. That's because listen, that's
- 17:10Speaker 2: my curse. They asked me out, then they go.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Up, no thanks, We'll bring in our shaman, our Facebook
- 17:14Speaker 1: marketplace shaman. This weekend was also very adventurous in my
- 17:18Speaker 1: life in the dating world.
- 17:20Speaker 3: It was I know.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Well, I will say one of the coolest moments that
- 17:26Speaker 1: happened before the story that I'm about to share is obviously,
- 17:29Speaker 1: if you've been a part of this podcast, you've heard
- 17:31Speaker 1: the saga of this, let's say relationship for me and
- 17:39Speaker 1: I am going to go ahead.
- 17:40Speaker 3: And it's fine if you say.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Scott, you literally said months ago you are not going
- 17:46Speaker 1: to get into a relationship. And I got on here
- 17:49Speaker 1: and I said, I am not going to get in
- 17:51Speaker 1: a relationship.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I am going to be single.
- 17:54Speaker 2: And what did I say?
- 17:55Speaker 3: You said, that's bull Yeah, those bull crap. Well, here's
- 17:58Speaker 3: the deal.
- 17:59Speaker 1: At the beginning this year, I was casually dating and
- 18:02Speaker 1: I was casually just seeing like what what does life
- 18:05Speaker 1: look like as a single guy? And it was fun
- 18:08Speaker 1: and there was a couple like little meetups, so little connections,
- 18:10Speaker 1: but nothing in that moment ever felt like I was
- 18:14Speaker 1: going to step into a relationship.
- 18:16Speaker 2: After two days, Scott was like, I've seen what I
- 18:17Speaker 2: needed to see. You need to go back into a relationship.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Well it's fascinating because if that was the case with
- 18:23Speaker 1: how those dates went, I could have easily been single
- 18:26Speaker 1: all year because I was like, I'm not gonna do
- 18:27Speaker 1: something unless it's truly worth it. Now, if you've heard
- 18:31Speaker 1: the podcast this, it was many months ago at this
- 18:33Speaker 1: point where I went on this date and I opened
- 18:36Speaker 1: the door, and it was literally like I knew in
- 18:39Speaker 1: that moment that this was different than anything else I've experienced,
- 18:42Speaker 1: and I knew that everything that I said prior to
- 18:46Speaker 1: that was a bunch of bs that me trying to
- 18:49Speaker 1: be as soon as I opened the door on the
- 18:51Speaker 1: first date. This is the date that went on for
- 18:52Speaker 1: twelve hours, that we explored pretty much every little pocket
- 18:56Speaker 1: of Saint Pete. That the conversation never died and it
- 19:00Speaker 1: never has. And so over the past couple months, we've
- 19:04Speaker 1: gone on some of the most adventurous dates. We've had
- 19:07Speaker 1: some of the most fun making our friends, meeting new people,
- 19:11Speaker 1: integrating our lives. And one of the conversations I got
- 19:15Speaker 1: to have last week that I kind of shared with
- 19:16Speaker 1: you a little bit in the last podcast is we
- 19:19Speaker 1: did a cute date where like I just I facetimed
- 19:21Speaker 1: her and we cooked dinner together because we're kind of
- 19:23Speaker 1: doing a little distance right now, and I thought this
- 19:25Speaker 1: was super sweet because we're making the same meal at
- 19:28Speaker 1: the same time as wo We're together, but she also said, Hey,
- 19:33Speaker 1: my parents will be here, just letting you know. I
- 19:37Speaker 1: figured maybe they're just in the background, maybe they'll just
- 19:40Speaker 1: kind of just be passing by the phone every now
- 19:43Speaker 1: and then I get on the FaceTime and immediately, for
- 19:47Speaker 1: the first time ever, her mom literally takes the phone,
- 19:51Speaker 1: pops it over to her face, and starts talking to me.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, so I have the first parent interaction
- 19:57Speaker 1: happening right now. Her mom knows about but now we're
- 20:00Speaker 1: actually talking and jump scared. At first, I was so
- 20:04Speaker 1: nervous because I'm like, first off, her mom speaks Spanish.
- 20:08Speaker 3: I am not that efficient in Spanish.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Does she speak English or just only Spanish?
- 20:12Speaker 1: Both okay, but mostly Spanish, where I'm mostly English with
- 20:16Speaker 1: a lot of practice trying to get really good at Spanish.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And it was for this reason because I was like,
- 20:20Speaker 1: when I meet them, I want to make sure that
- 20:21Speaker 1: I'm speaking Spanish and I show that I put an effort. Well,
- 20:24Speaker 1: she gets on the phone and we start going back
- 20:26Speaker 1: and forth, and I'm using as much Spanish as I can,
- 20:29Speaker 1: but then we're laughing. Then we have these little jokes
- 20:32Speaker 1: going on back and forth. She leaves the phone back
- 20:36Speaker 1: and I just hear the laughter back and forth between
- 20:39Speaker 1: these two, and so all those nerves that I had
- 20:41Speaker 1: built up, Like immediately I was like, oh my gosh,
- 20:44Speaker 1: this is so cool. Like it feels like I already
- 20:46Speaker 1: have a connection with her mom, like I already have
- 20:49Speaker 1: trust in her her parents, And I knew in that moment,
- 20:52Speaker 1: I was like, this is I knew I wanted this
- 20:55Speaker 1: moment to happen because of what was going to happen next.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And so I already had planned that week. I mean,
- 21:00Speaker 1: we've been dating at this point for nearly three months,
- 21:07Speaker 1: and I knew from the very first month, I was like, Okay, yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I'm I'm serious about this one.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I'm locking this one down.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Yeah, Like, I'm not interested in anybody.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I'm not looking at any other dates, cancel out anything
- 21:18Speaker 1: else planned. I am focused purely because I know this
- 21:20Speaker 1: is something special. And so this weekend, I knew I
- 21:23Speaker 1: wanted to make it official, and so I set up
- 21:25Speaker 1: this whole plan where after we went out, we would
- 21:29Speaker 1: come back and I wanted to do something that I
- 21:31Speaker 1: really showed that every single time we've dated, I took notes,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I took notes on what we did, what we talked about.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I wanted to make sure that I had a running
- 21:42Speaker 1: list of all these extraordinary moments, because what happens is
- 21:44Speaker 1: it starts the compound and you're like, oh, one moment
- 21:47Speaker 1: leads to another, and all these moments are so special,
- 21:49Speaker 1: but it shows how you've progressed in a relationship. And
- 21:52Speaker 1: so without revealing all the details, because I like some
- 21:55Speaker 1: of the things that I get to keep private with her,
- 21:57Speaker 1: I showed her that I wrote down everything.
- 22:00Speaker 2: You don't want to share. She told me about it,
- 22:02Speaker 2: about how you did. I think that's so beautiful and creative.
- 22:05Speaker 2: You don't want to share that.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'll share one of the things I did because I
- 22:08Speaker 1: think this is the moment that I'm super proud of.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Because this is not something I got from CHADGBT. This
- 22:13Speaker 1: is not something I saw on a movie. This was
- 22:15Speaker 1: something that literally came to me, and I was like,
- 22:17Speaker 1: I want to do this because it showcases who we
- 22:19Speaker 1: are and where we're going. And I got ourselves a notebook,
- 22:23Speaker 1: and in that notebook.
- 22:25Speaker 3: I created our story.
- 22:26Speaker 1: What I did was one of the first things that
- 22:28Speaker 1: we did because she had to move back to Florida and.
- 22:30Speaker 3: One of the first dates.
- 22:31Speaker 1: And I talked about this many podcasts ago because you
- 22:33Speaker 1: guys were telling me that there might be a little
- 22:35Speaker 1: too much. But on the second day, we went out
- 22:38Speaker 1: to the beach. One of the things that she craved
- 22:40Speaker 1: the most when she was moved away is coming back
- 22:42Speaker 1: and seeing the water, and I was like, I want
- 22:43Speaker 1: to do this.
- 22:43Speaker 3: She shared it on the first date.
- 22:44Speaker 1: It was one of her most special places to go,
- 22:46Speaker 1: and so I was like, I'm taking you there. We
- 22:48Speaker 1: got up five am, she came over to my house
- 22:50Speaker 1: and we drove over to the beach. Her favorite spot
- 22:52Speaker 1: in Tampa Bay to see the sunrise. So it's right
- 22:54Speaker 1: by this pastry shop, she was telling me. And so
- 22:56Speaker 1: we sat there on the beach and one of the
- 22:58Speaker 1: most fun memories for me is as soon as we
- 23:00Speaker 1: got there, you could see someone's joy just be brought
- 23:03Speaker 1: back into their soul. It's a place that brings back memories,
- 23:07Speaker 1: that brings back peace. And then while those days, on
- 23:09Speaker 1: that same date, we walked the beach and I just
- 23:12Speaker 1: love that every time that she found like a sea
- 23:14Speaker 1: shell that she truly loved, like she'd pick it up.
- 23:16Speaker 3: It was like just little moments that brought so much joy.
- 23:19Speaker 1: And so for the past couple of weeks, i'd hit
- 23:22Speaker 1: the beach solo and I went out recently with my brother,
- 23:25Speaker 1: and I wanted to pick up a shell that reminded
- 23:27Speaker 1: me of every memory that we've created over the past
- 23:29Speaker 1: couple months. And so I collected all these shells. And
- 23:32Speaker 1: pretty much what I did is I collected all these
- 23:35Speaker 1: shells and I gave them to her, and I said,
- 23:37Speaker 1: every shell represents a memory that we've made up unto
- 23:40Speaker 1: this point. And so she'd.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Pick a shell and I'd share the memory.
- 23:46Speaker 1: And at the end, because again her family speaks Spanish,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I'm trying to learn Spanish. I wanted to show that
- 23:53Speaker 1: I'm continuously putting an effort. I asked her to be
- 23:55Speaker 1: my girlfriend in Spanish.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Like on my therape shared he said, be my girlfriend
- 24:02Speaker 2: in Spanish.
- 24:04Speaker 1: And so it is official. I have a girlfriend, which
- 24:07Speaker 1: feels crazy to say.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Which is crazy because I think I've been calling her
- 24:10Speaker 2: your girlfriend the last two months.
- 24:11Speaker 1: And that's kind of the funny thing is is like
- 24:13Speaker 1: I was waiting to really make sure that, like one,
- 24:15Speaker 1: I didn't want to rush her. I didn't want to
- 24:16Speaker 1: rush this. I didn't want to rush anything that needed
- 24:19Speaker 1: I already knew. And so there didn't need to be
- 24:21Speaker 1: any pressure. Yeah, but when we went out a couple
- 24:23Speaker 1: of weeks, I'll be saying to our friend groups like,
- 24:25Speaker 1: oh yeah, this is Scott's girlfriend. And then she was
- 24:28Speaker 1: just laughing and so on board with it, and she's like, yeah,
- 24:31Speaker 1: I mean, why, you know, what, what is up with
- 24:32Speaker 1: that official thing?
- 24:33Speaker 3: I was like, don't worry, I got something in the work.
- 24:36Speaker 1: It is coming together. But I don't do anything ordinary.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I don't do anything just as the base bar. Like,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I wanted to make sure that it was a memory.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I wanted to make sure that it was a moment.
- 24:44Speaker 1: And so yes, I am a boyfriend, I have a girlfriend,
- 24:50Speaker 1: and you'll thank nova.
- 24:52Speaker 3: See that's so beautiful.
- 24:54Speaker 1: It is very exciting, and I'm very very grateful that one.
- 24:59Speaker 1: It went even better than I could have anticipated. I
- 25:02Speaker 1: had no idea how it was going to go, but
- 25:04Speaker 1: I knew it was going to go well, and I
- 25:06Speaker 1: knew this was what I wanted as soon as I
- 25:08Speaker 1: opened the door many months ago. I knew exactly this
- 25:11Speaker 1: is the moment that I was shooting for. So now
- 25:14Speaker 1: the story continues.
- 25:15Speaker 2: It's so beautiful. So what next? Where you asking her
- 25:18Speaker 2: to marry you?
- 25:19Speaker 1: God, Jesus Christ.
- 25:24Speaker 2: But you always have some kind of romantic venture lined up.
- 25:27Speaker 2: So what's next for you guys?
- 25:28Speaker 1: I you know, now, what's exciting is we have like
- 25:32Speaker 1: a list of dates that we have a little distance
- 25:35Speaker 1: in between us with literally where we live, so we
- 25:37Speaker 1: can only see each other on the weekends. So as
- 25:39Speaker 1: much as there's things that I want to do, we
- 25:40Speaker 1: have to be very patient. Yeah, it's very patient. But
- 25:43Speaker 1: I could reveal this. One of the things that I
- 25:45Speaker 1: have is I'm finally going to bring her to my hometown. Oh,
- 25:49Speaker 1: I'm going to a wedding for one of my best
- 25:51Speaker 1: friends over in zero.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Very exciting.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Oh.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I remember we talked about this about whether or not
- 25:55Speaker 2: it was too soon for her to come to the wedding.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Well, she's coming to the wedding.
- 25:59Speaker 2: That's all right. When's the wedding June.
- 26:01Speaker 3: It's in June, so we're like just a couple of
- 26:03Speaker 3: weeks away.
- 26:03Speaker 1: She's gonna get to meet some of like the guys
- 26:06Speaker 1: that I grew up with and see some of my
- 26:09Speaker 1: closest friends. She's gonna be able to see the town
- 26:12Speaker 1: that I talk about. She's gonna be able to meet
- 26:14Speaker 1: my dad, which that's cool. Am my dogs. So that's
- 26:18Speaker 1: the biggest thing that's coming up right now because now
- 26:21Speaker 1: we get to do those things together plus ones two events,
- 26:24Speaker 1: we get to go on double dates with friends.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Because now me novell brag.
- 26:30Speaker 2: A little more. Why don't you because you want to
- 26:33Speaker 2: know what. I got a text. I don't know if
- 26:34Speaker 2: I've talked about this on the podcast yet, but I
- 26:36Speaker 2: got a text from my brother's fiance a couple of
- 26:38Speaker 2: weeks ago, and she goes, remind me what your plus
- 26:40Speaker 2: one's name is, son of a gun because I did
- 26:45Speaker 2: RSVP because you know it's my parents are paying for
- 26:47Speaker 2: some of the weddings, so they're like, yeah, we can
- 26:49Speaker 2: get a plus one. But the problem is is this
- 26:51Speaker 2: wedding is on July fourth, so like all my close
- 26:53Speaker 2: friends have plans. Yeah, and so I'm like, you know,
- 26:58Speaker 2: maybe I'll get a boyfriend by then. I'm like, I'm
- 27:00Speaker 2: manifesting it because last year I was like, yeah, I'm
- 27:02Speaker 2: gonna be engaged at my brother's wedding. I was putting
- 27:06Speaker 2: it onto the universe, and then here I am, I
- 27:08Speaker 2: can't even get a freeing first date. Shut up, you're
- 27:10Speaker 2: the worst.
- 27:11Speaker 3: You're the one laughing.
- 27:14Speaker 2: And so She's like, so, what's what's his name? And
- 27:16Speaker 2: I just like didn't respond, and she goes, we can
- 27:18Speaker 2: just leave it blay for now.
- 27:20Speaker 3: You know, why do they need a name? It's fine
- 27:22Speaker 3: write it on a peg when we get to the
- 27:23Speaker 3: actual day on the little paper.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Because my my best friend in Virginia, she always does things.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I think her mom's birthday is July fourth. And then
- 27:29Speaker 2: I have another my other close friend, Taylor, Like she
- 27:31Speaker 2: always does really cool, fun things, and so I don't
- 27:33Speaker 2: want to drag her to my family wedding.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Well what's more fun than a wedding.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I mean, it's free food, it's free drinks, the beautiful venue,
- 27:39Speaker 1: there's dancing.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Yeah, my family's a lot though, but they're gonna be
- 27:43Speaker 3: hanging out with you.
- 27:44Speaker 1: And then you guys get to mingle together when it's like,
- 27:46Speaker 1: oh my god, did you hear what your uncle said?
- 27:48Speaker 2: And it's like, yeah, that's that's so true. I actually
- 27:50Speaker 2: do kind of need an ally. But the thing is
- 27:53Speaker 2: I'm a bridesmaid, so I'm gonna be with the bridal
- 27:55Speaker 2: party all day, damn it, you know what I mean.
- 27:57Speaker 2: And it's like, you have a job up until the reception,
- 27:59Speaker 2: and so I don't want to do that to any
- 28:00Speaker 2: of my friends where it's like be by yourself. Although
- 28:03Speaker 2: they would get a stay at a nice resort.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I mean, that's a perk and they could just sit by.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Is there a pool. Here is a pool, they could
- 28:08Speaker 1: sit by the pool. Look at it as a staycation
- 28:10Speaker 1: for them or a vacation for them. You're doing them
- 28:13Speaker 1: a service. That's actually so nice of you as a friend.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You're helping them escape their family, their family drama, maybe
- 28:19Speaker 1: a day off of work, their.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Fun plans in July at least, come be with me
- 28:23Speaker 2: and my family and all the fights we're gonna get into.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Skiddy, I was like, is there anybody in your family that, like,
- 28:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to think when I comes to my family.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I have such a small family, but I'm super close
- 28:32Speaker 1: with like my cousins, Like, is.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Anybody that you're like, Oh, it's so cool to see
- 28:35Speaker 3: them again.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I mean I see my family all the time. They
- 28:39Speaker 2: all live here, and there's nobody that I'm like, oh
- 28:41Speaker 2: my god, it's been so long. I'm like, there you
- 28:44Speaker 2: are again.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I mean maybe it could be you know this this
- 28:47Speaker 3: I'm not eve gonna say it though.
- 28:48Speaker 1: What I was gonna say the guy that just sent
- 28:51Speaker 1: a text like, if it's starting, I'm.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Going to bring well. Okay, so if it's May, you
- 28:56Speaker 2: got eight today, I have a month and a half. Listen.
- 28:59Speaker 2: If I'm always quickly as you move, we will be
- 29:03Speaker 2: engaged by my brother's winning.
- 29:04Speaker 1: You know, you know I don't even a lot of
- 29:06Speaker 1: people have said that, like Scott, you moved so quick.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I'm like, look, I was not planning on this. I
- 29:11Speaker 3: was not. But when you when you know that feeling,
- 29:13Speaker 3: you know.
- 29:13Speaker 2: I listen. I'm I'm the biggest hater when it comes
- 29:16Speaker 2: to people in the wrong relationships. I was pushing you
- 29:18Speaker 2: out of that other relationship because I knew it wasn't right,
- 29:20Speaker 2: Like you're I really feel like you're in a good position.
- 29:23Speaker 3: That is such a good point.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I was thinking about that a lot, Like imagine, like
- 29:26Speaker 1: the way I was talking about some of the people
- 29:27Speaker 1: at the beginning of this year versus the way I
- 29:30Speaker 1: came in after that first date.
- 29:32Speaker 3: That is the prime example.
- 29:33Speaker 2: There's a clear difference. I'm telling you, that's what everyone's after,
- 29:36Speaker 2: and I think that's what everyone deserves. So when I
- 29:38Speaker 2: saw that you had it, I was like, oh, I'm
- 29:39Speaker 2: on board. Yeah, also your ladies great, you know what
- 29:41Speaker 2: I mean. Like I've known her like acquaintance wise for
- 29:44Speaker 2: for a year or so.
- 29:45Speaker 1: And she got to meet some of my friends over
- 29:47Speaker 1: this past weekend, which is super nice, some of the
- 29:49Speaker 1: people that are closest to me. So it's nice that
- 29:51Speaker 1: now we're at that chapter where it's like, oh, yeah,
- 29:53Speaker 1: I meet some of the people that truly know, like
- 29:55Speaker 1: my heart and my soul. And so when we go
- 29:57Speaker 1: out to events, you already have faces that you know,
- 29:59Speaker 1: and I already feel I met some of her friends
- 30:00Speaker 1: yesterdayt the pool party, and I'm like, what the hell
- 30:02Speaker 1: is up with your friends? When it's like all of
- 30:04Speaker 1: them seem so chill and so easy to talk to,
- 30:06Speaker 1: Like it's so easy. Yeah, It's like I'm waiting for
- 30:09Speaker 1: like some shooter drop, like do you have a crazy friend,
- 30:11Speaker 1: like one that actually is going to hate me?
- 30:13Speaker 3: And so far, everybody's just been so supportive.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Side note, she got kind of sick yesterday.
- 30:18Speaker 3: She okay, yeah, she's fine, Okay, cool, she's fine.
- 30:20Speaker 1: We came back and it was so nice, Like, I
- 30:22Speaker 1: don't know how you do it after a party, but
- 30:24Speaker 1: I need to. Friday, I worked and I am seed
- 30:27Speaker 1: An event.
- 30:27Speaker 3: It was incredible.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Saturday, I worked and I am Seen an event. It
- 30:30Speaker 1: was all day in the sun. And then Sunday we
- 30:31Speaker 1: did the pool party. I looked forward to nothing more
- 30:35Speaker 1: than getting home and just doing nothing on the couch
- 30:38Speaker 1: except for ordering Uber Eats.
- 30:40Speaker 3: Got like a ton of like Thai food. Oh yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 3: and then we watched Off Campus.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Oh my god, and I forgot that we have to
- 30:47Speaker 2: catch up on that too. We don't have time.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Today, but I will. I'm okay. Then we could say
- 30:51Speaker 3: this for tomorrow before.
- 30:52Speaker 2: I mean, do we have what we have twelve minutes now?
- 30:54Speaker 1: We should probably because there's things I want to dive
- 30:56Speaker 1: into on the show.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Because as stupid as I thought this show is going
- 31:00Speaker 3: to be, I.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Thought the show was going to be stupid.
- 31:03Speaker 3: I am so addicted. It's so good. I could not stop.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Like literally last night, I'm like, we got to do
- 31:08Speaker 1: another episode, like we got just I know, I was
- 31:09Speaker 1: supposed to only watch two, but let's watch three.
- 31:11Speaker 3: And then I got a finish four.
- 31:12Speaker 2: You finished three or you finished.
- 31:14Speaker 3: I finished three? I started the fourth.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Okay, the fourth episode is my favorite.
- 31:17Speaker 3: I'm so excited.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I will watch that one today because, like I was like,
- 31:20Speaker 1: this is gonna be dumb, but.
- 31:22Speaker 3: You know what, as dumb and corny.
- 31:24Speaker 1: As it is, kudos, it's good and it hits on
- 31:27Speaker 1: like as it's so funny because it's like corny, but
- 31:30Speaker 1: it hits on such great dynamics and like relationships and
- 31:34Speaker 1: in friendships that you're like, yeah, they're doing it in
- 31:36Speaker 1: a corny way, but like that's legit. Like I want
- 31:39Speaker 1: to dive into some of those things on the podcast tomorrow,
- 31:42Speaker 1: and I know one of the things we want to
- 31:43Speaker 1: talk about is what are the scenes or what are
- 31:46Speaker 1: the movements and all.
- 31:47Speaker 2: That, Oh, the things that you notice versus what I
- 31:49Speaker 2: would notice.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Yes, that are quote unquote sexy.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Yeah, we're extremely attractive, and just like that would get
- 31:56Speaker 1: your attention.
- 31:58Speaker 2: And then the show gets surprisingly deep after episode five
- 32:02Speaker 2: or six, Oh lord will be six is when it
- 32:04Speaker 2: gets deep. I don't know, it seems like.
- 32:05Speaker 1: It's building to that. Yes, they started to have little
- 32:07Speaker 1: moments like I think the start of episode.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Four is like whoo oh yeah. Yeah.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I was like, okay, we're you know what. But I
- 32:14Speaker 1: like the conversation. I do like when shows go there
- 32:16Speaker 1: because I'm like, Okay, you're having the conversation that maybe
- 32:18Speaker 1: a lot of us don't know how to have, but
- 32:20Speaker 1: it also opens the conversation for other people. So I'm
- 32:23Speaker 1: very excited. We'll dive into that. We got to go
- 32:25Speaker 1: into another sales meeting. I want to give a shout out.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I don't know, we have some sales people here that listen,
- 32:30Speaker 1: maybe some promo people, and I do want to leave
- 32:32Speaker 1: with this shout out to the promo team from yesterday.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Dude, shout out to the promo.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Team like that junk was ridiculous at the pool party.
- 32:40Speaker 2: We were leaving now, I was like, do y'all need help?
- 32:42Speaker 2: And I could see in their eyes they wanted to
- 32:44Speaker 2: say yes, but they're like, no, we're fine, We're fine.
- 32:46Speaker 3: I mean, the setup was beautiful.
- 32:48Speaker 2: It looks so good. They killed it.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I mean, I think it was such a great like
- 32:52Speaker 1: setting point for where we want to go with these events. Yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 1: a lot of work, but so much fun had. You know,
- 32:59Speaker 1: well over one hundred people at this pool party. And
- 33:02Speaker 1: so now we get to start planning the next one.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yeah, when's the next Can we announce when?
- 33:06Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I'm excited about that location.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Oh yeah, like.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Again, and that's something we could say, is that the
- 33:11Speaker 1: Moxie Hotel. If you ever in the Saint Pete area,
- 33:13Speaker 1: if you live here, then definitely check that out.
- 33:15Speaker 3: But gorgeous.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I don't know how many rooftop pools there are, but
- 33:18Speaker 1: that one's like the best location to see downtown Saint Pete.
- 33:21Speaker 3: It's right next to the trap. Oh yeah, yeah, and.
- 33:23Speaker 2: It was nice in side note, because Friday, I'm launching
- 33:26Speaker 2: my Trampa Bay Girls trip. If you're like, oh my god,
- 33:29Speaker 2: that hotel looks so cool, that rooftop looks so fun,
- 33:31Speaker 2: that's where we're staying and we're doing a rooftop pool
- 33:34Speaker 2: party on Sunday. Alexia is doing it with Saint Pete gals.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Oh that's sick.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Yeah, So it's kind of like a Trampa Bay getaway
- 33:42Speaker 2: x Saint Pete goals. Like Alexi is going to be
- 33:43Speaker 2: a part of a lot of the events, like she's
- 33:45Speaker 2: bringing some girls down, she's hosting the pool party on Sunday.
- 33:49Speaker 2: So if you thought it looked fun, did.
- 33:51Speaker 1: You already start sharing like some of the things that
- 33:53Speaker 1: you're gonna do, because I saw you post a.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Couple of things.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yes, I've started sharing the itinerary because I finally locked
- 33:57Speaker 2: it down and because I was trying to see how
- 33:59Speaker 2: many sponsors I could get on board, to like see
- 34:01Speaker 2: how low I could get the price. And so it's
- 34:03Speaker 2: seven nine. It goes live on Friday on The Girls
- 34:06Speaker 2: Gonna Get Away's Instagram. There's twelve spots and it's all
- 34:10Speaker 2: shared rooms at the Moxie Hotel and it's gonna be
- 34:13Speaker 2: super vimun So.
- 34:13Speaker 3: That includes this day.
- 34:14Speaker 2: That includes like, yeah, so it's three nights at the Moxie.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I know it's a really good deal.
- 34:18Speaker 3: I was like, that's it, like right there alone boom, Yeah, three.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Nights at the Moxie. Friday, we're doing dinner at Sparrow,
- 34:25Speaker 2: which is that really cool rooftop restaurant, and then we're
- 34:28Speaker 2: taking a party bus to show Bar, which is the
- 34:31Speaker 2: you love that piano bar.
- 34:32Speaker 3: I love show Bar. Oh that is a good time
- 34:34Speaker 3: in the board.
- 34:35Speaker 2: That's gonna be a good time. And then the party
- 34:36Speaker 2: bus will take us back to the hotel and then
- 34:39Speaker 2: Saturday it's a sandbar cruise and then dinner reservations. I
- 34:44Speaker 2: think I'm gonna do Olivia.
- 34:46Speaker 3: Oh my god, I love Olivia.
- 34:48Speaker 1: That would be incredible. Yes, I still have not gone
- 34:50Speaker 1: to Olivia. But whenever you talk to people in Tampa
- 34:52Speaker 1: Bay one it's beautiful, yes, but two like people rave
- 34:54Speaker 1: about the food.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Olivia is so good. And then Sunday's the pool party
- 34:58Speaker 2: with Alexia and all of Saint Pete Al. That'll be fun.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I'm actually really jealous about this. I kinda I at
- 35:03Speaker 1: least want to go to the pool party.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Oh no, come, and you should come to show Bar too.
- 35:07Speaker 2: We were him on the party bus.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Maybe because you have the connection with yourment, you're the
- 35:12Speaker 2: reason why. Yeah, that's going to show Bar. So you
- 35:15Speaker 2: should come to that, and should come to the pool
- 35:16Speaker 2: party obviously, because the pool party is co ed too.
- 35:18Speaker 2: So if you're like a single gal and you're like,
- 35:20Speaker 2: I want to meet hot guys in Tampa pool party,
- 35:22Speaker 2: pool party, and then we're gonna go to Noble Tavern
- 35:24Speaker 2: that night.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Holy crap, I know that is you. That is incredible.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Wow.
- 35:28Speaker 3: I am so jealous.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I know so Scotty, you'll be a part of the weekend, Alexi,
- 35:31Speaker 2: you'll be a part of the weekend. I think my
- 35:33Speaker 2: mom's coming down too. So if you've been seeing some
- 35:36Speaker 2: of my trips and you're like, oh my god, I
- 35:37Speaker 2: want to go. But like, when six thousand dollars go
- 35:39Speaker 2: to fucking grease, that's a lot of money. I'm like, yeah,
- 35:41Speaker 2: I totally agree. This is a great way to have
- 35:44Speaker 2: a really fun.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Rowdy weekend. It will be a little rowdy.
- 35:46Speaker 2: I will say, Oh, we're doing a workout class at
- 35:48Speaker 2: Peach Pump. Forgot about that too, Peach Bump.
- 35:49Speaker 3: They're gonna be working on the booty and then we be.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Working on the booty. It's an all women's workout class
- 35:53Speaker 2: just for the lower body. Oh and I think Rebecca's
- 35:55Speaker 2: coming to Rebecca my old coworker. Good lord, Yeah, this
- 35:58Speaker 2: thing is stacked. It's gonna be I'm like so excited.
- 36:00Speaker 3: It's in August.
- 36:01Speaker 2: It's in August. It's the twenty first, of the twenty fourth. Wow.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Okay, well that's really cool. I'm jealous.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Well I'm glad I get to be part of it
- 36:07Speaker 1: because I was like, that sounds like a good time. Well,
- 36:09Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna hop off. If you want all
