Day 17. Genesis 48-50
Jacob becomes ill, and Joseph brings his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim, to him. Jacob blesses them, placing his right hand on the younger, Ephraim, and gives them an inheritance among his own sons. Jacob then gathers all his sons and speaks over each one, recounting their actions and future paths. He gives instructions for his burial in Canaan and later dies.Joseph mourns his father, and Jacob is buried in the family burial place alongside Abraham and Isaac.
