Speaker 2: to have those for you in a minute. But before
0:26
Speaker 2: we get to that, I want to tell you about
0:27
Speaker 2: our great friends over at Compassion International. Right now, somewhere
0:32
Speaker 2: in the world, a kid you've never met is writing
0:34
Speaker 2: you a letter. They're telling you about their day, their dreams,
0:39
Speaker 2: the goal they scored, the test they passed, the new
0:43
Speaker 2: friend they made it school. Maybe they're drawing you even
0:45
Speaker 2: a picture. Maybe they've asked you about your family, your
0:49
Speaker 2: favorite color, what makes you laugh. They're wondering who you are,
0:53
Speaker 2: this person who cares enough to be part of their
0:56
Speaker 2: story and you. You're not just sending money back, You're
1:01
Speaker 2: showing up month after month, letter after letter. You're celebrating
1:05
Speaker 2: their victories, encouraging them through challenges, and reminding them that
1:10
Speaker 2: they truly matter. Now, this isn't a transaction, It's an

1:19
Speaker 2: of you. That is where Compassion International connects you directly

1:28

Speaker 2: showing up impact the world, one child at a time,
1:37
Speaker 2: and learn how at Compassion dot Com. That's Compassion dot com.
1:44
Speaker 2: All right, Senata, So you've got three New Year's resolutions.
1:48
Speaker 2: I'm going to go out on a limb and say
1:50
Speaker 2: that of my New Year's resolutions, I'm going to be
1:53
Speaker 2: at thirty three percent of your New Year's resolutions. I
1:56
Speaker 2: do not know what they are, but I'm just going
1:58
Speaker 2: to see if we are aligned on this.
1:59
Speaker 1: So give me your top one for the year.
2:01
Speaker 3: I'm ready, all right, So number one in twenty twenty six,
2:05
Speaker 3: I'm gonna lose some weight. I like two damn fat uh.
2:08
Speaker 3: You know I weighed in this week at two thirty six.
2:12
Speaker 3: That is two damn fat. You know, when I graduated
2:14
Speaker 3: from college, I was a buck thirty five one hundred
2:17
Speaker 3: and thirty five pounds. I was skinny as a rail.
2:20
Speaker 3: And my target for twenty twenty six is to drop
2:23
Speaker 3: thirty pounds. I want to clock in next January at
2:27
Speaker 3: two oh six. I'm at two thirty six right now,
2:29
Speaker 3: Ben and I are in a weight loss group. We've
2:31
Speaker 3: got several guys that are are are are trying to
2:33
Speaker 3: lose weight together and and so my objective over the
2:36
Speaker 3: next twelve months has dropped those thirty pounds, uh and
2:39
Speaker 3: and be at two oh six one year from now.
2:41
Speaker 2: Now, now, my question is, hold on, how are you
2:43
Speaker 2: gonna what's your plan for this? Is this gonna be
2:46
Speaker 2: like water polo or are you gonna get a trainer?
2:48
Speaker 1: I got to give you a little a little hard
2:50
Speaker 1: time here. I want to know.
2:51
Speaker 3: Look, look, it's it's kind of all of that. It's
2:52
Speaker 3: diet and exercise at the end of the day. And
2:55
Speaker 3: you know what, we're going to talk over the course
2:57
Speaker 3: of the year about how to do that and what's
2:58
Speaker 3: working and what's not. We're to have some of those
3:01
Speaker 3: conversations over the course of the year on the podcast.
3:04
Speaker 4: The objective, which which I've.
3:06
Speaker 3: Decided on, is to drop thirty and so so we'll
3:08
Speaker 3: see if we can do that, and and and and
3:10
Speaker 3: get to that point. H. My second resolution is actually
3:14
Speaker 3: related to my first, which which is that I am
3:16
Speaker 3: doing a dry January. As you know, Ben, I I
3:21
Speaker 3: enjoy red wine with dinner. It it it makes for
3:25
Speaker 3: a fun dinner. The problem is it's like injecting calories
3:29
Speaker 3: straight in your gut.
3:31
Speaker 4: Uh.
3:32
Speaker 3: And and and so if if you want to drop
3:34
Speaker 3: some weight, having wine with dinner is not conducive to that.
3:38
Speaker 3: And so I've decided for the month of January, I'm
3:40
Speaker 3: gonna go dry.
3:41
Speaker 5: Uh.
3:42
Speaker 3: And I'll tell you just a few days into it,
3:44
Speaker 3: I'm already feeling I'm sleeping better and feeling better. I
3:46
Speaker 3: think that's just a good It's healthier. I mean, at
3:49
Speaker 3: the end of the day. Uh, it's a lot healthier
3:51
Speaker 3: way to live. And and and so that is resolution
3:54
Speaker 3: number two. And then resolution number three, Uh is I
3:59
Speaker 3: am committing to myself that I am going to read
4:02
Speaker 3: the Bible every day in twenty twenty six.
4:06
Speaker 1: All right, that's strong.
4:08
Speaker 3: That's something I've done at different periods of my life.
4:11
Speaker 3: When our girls were younger, we would do devotion at
4:14
Speaker 3: night with them, so we read through the Bible, the
4:18
Speaker 3: New Testament with them every night. We would read and
4:21
Speaker 3: talk about it and pray together. And you know, when
4:23
Speaker 3: you're being a parent, that gives you an excuse to
4:25
Speaker 3: do so, but life pulls you a million different directions
4:29
Speaker 3: and sometimes it eats away at the time you would
4:32
Speaker 3: have to otherwise just just sit down and study the Word.
4:35
Speaker 3: And so I'm making a commitment to myself also that
4:39
Speaker 3: every day I'm going to read the Bible. And those
4:42
Speaker 3: three things together, I think are really they have me
4:45
Speaker 3: excited about twenty twenty six because I think all three
4:47
Speaker 3: of them are the right thing to do for this
4:50
Speaker 3: year ahead.
4:51
Speaker 1: Dude, I love that. By the way, the Bible one.
4:53
Speaker 2: That's cool because I literally tried a couple different times
4:56
Speaker 2: and life gets busy to do that one year Bible
4:59
Speaker 2: where you rea every day and you read the whole
5:01
Speaker 2: Bible in a year. And I got through it a
5:02
Speaker 2: couple of times where it was like you get about
5:04
Speaker 2: halfway and then things get happen the year. But the
5:07
Speaker 2: idea of just reading it every day, I actually will
5:10
Speaker 2: take that challenge with you, I will, I will actually
5:12
Speaker 2: commit to getting on board with that one. So my
5:16
Speaker 2: the thirty three percent, by the way, I was right
5:18
Speaker 2: because I my weight, so my weight journey. I was
5:21
Speaker 2: to you know this August twenty six, I was two
5:24
Speaker 2: ninety eight. I went to the doctor scared the living
5:27
Speaker 2: snot out of me. I'm now down to I think
5:29
Speaker 2: two oh nine, and my goal for this year is
5:33
Speaker 2: I know. See that's I'm glad I didn't look as
5:35
Speaker 2: bad as you just said. Right Like, So, I'm like,
5:37
Speaker 2: I'm down about ninety my goal this year.
5:40
Speaker 3: I don't realize you're down at two and nine. That's impressive, man,
5:43
Speaker 3: that is a lot of weightl lot and then that's
5:47
Speaker 3: really impressive.
5:48
Speaker 2: So yesterday I was like, what is my goal? And
5:51
Speaker 2: my goal for this year is I want to put
5:52
Speaker 2: back muscle on and because I've been so focused on
5:54
Speaker 2: weight loss, so I'm going to work out lifting weights
5:57
Speaker 2: to a neighbor three days a week at least it
5:59
Speaker 2: just waights do the other stuff I've been doing. But
6:01
Speaker 2: I put on a shirt yesterday to kind of motivate me.
6:04
Speaker 2: I had one of my old shirts. I pulled it out.
6:06
Speaker 2: I swear to you it's this far in front of
6:07
Speaker 2: my chest, like I was able to pull it out
6:09
Speaker 2: this far, and I kept one. I got rid of
6:12
Speaker 2: all the other clothes, but I didn't want to go backwards,
6:14
Speaker 2: but I kept it. And it's like my motivations, like
6:15
Speaker 2: all right, I can do this this year, So I'll
6:17
Speaker 2: take I'm at sixty six percent with you, you know me,
6:21
Speaker 2: I laugh. I really don't care about alcohol. It's never
6:23
Speaker 2: been a thing. I'm alert to sofa drugs, which means
6:26
Speaker 2: red wine gives me the worst headache in the world.
6:29
Speaker 2: It's probably the biggest blessing God's ever given me because
6:31
Speaker 2: I've never cared. It makes me feel horrible, Like two
6:35
Speaker 2: SIPs and I feel like I want to die of
6:37
Speaker 2: red wine.
6:38
Speaker 1: So it's never been a thing.
6:39
Speaker 2: But I'm sixty six percent in with you, but I'll
6:41
Speaker 2: encourage you on the other thirty three percent, So I
6:43
Speaker 2: like it.
6:44
Speaker 3: Well, look, it's a journey, and I expect that a
6:48
Speaker 3: lot of our listeners are making your own commitments in
6:50
Speaker 3: a new year, and maybe the maybe the resolutions Ben
6:54
Speaker 3: and I are doing our resolutions, you'll decide to do
6:56
Speaker 3: in your own life. Maybe you're maybe you're already skinny,
7:00
Speaker 3: in great shape, and so that's not a resolution you
7:02
Speaker 3: didn't need to make. But maybe there's some other aspect
7:04
Speaker 3: of your life that it's a chance to think about.
7:09
Speaker 3: You know, what you want this next year, twenty twenty
7:12
Speaker 3: six to be to make a real investment in your
7:16
Speaker 3: own quality of life, in your wife or your husband,
7:20
Speaker 3: or your kids and your family. You know, I think
7:22
Speaker 3: all of that really really matters. And you know, both
7:25
Speaker 3: of us are dads, and I think I think both
7:29
Speaker 3: of us. Look, I'm facing Carolina is seventeen, she's a
7:33
Speaker 3: senior in high school, so we're getting ready to have
7:35
Speaker 3: one leave the house, which is a terrifying moment. And
7:39
Speaker 3: Catherine is fifteen, she's a freshman. We just got a
7:42
Speaker 3: couple of years till she's gone too. I'll tell you
7:45
Speaker 3: the first day we're an empty nester, I'm going to
7:47
Speaker 3: go into the girl's room and probably just just just
7:50
Speaker 3: cry and miss them. You've got a few more years
7:53
Speaker 3: till that happens. But my guess is you're going to
7:55
Speaker 3: feel the same sentiment.
7:57
Speaker 1: All right, center.
7:57
Speaker 2: I want to get into Minnesota, and what happened in
8:00
Speaker 2: Minnesota There is a rallying cry because of a woman
8:04
Speaker 2: who tried to run over an ICE agent that she
8:07
Speaker 2: is somehow a victim, and the Left is wanting to
8:10
Speaker 2: have a civil war over this. You have the mayor
8:13
Speaker 2: there telling ICE agents to literally get the f out.
8:16
Speaker 2: You have civil war the words being used by the governor.
8:19
Speaker 2: They're seizing on this like it's an opportunity to derail
8:23
Speaker 2: ICE in law enforcement. It is truly sick and shocking
8:26
Speaker 2: to witness what we're watching right now.
8:29
Speaker 3: You're right, and what we're witnessing in Minnesota is is
8:32
Speaker 3: the natural culmination of several years of just increasingly heightened
8:38
Speaker 3: rhetoric from Democrats demonizing ICE agents, demonizing border patrol, demonizing
8:45
Speaker 3: law enforcement, just attacking them. We have democrats who call
8:48
Speaker 3: ICE agents Nazis, they call them Gestapo, and and listen, listen.
8:54
Speaker 3: As you know, I was on the ground in Dallas
8:56
Speaker 3: within minutes of of when the drain shooter in Dallas
9:02
Speaker 3: opened open fire at ICE ICE agents there because he
9:07
Speaker 3: had listened to all of the less horrible anti ICE rhetoric.
9:12
Speaker 3: We're seeing that pattern. We're seeing acts of violence over
9:15
Speaker 3: and over and over again. And listen what happened in Minneapolis.
9:19
Speaker 3: Anytime someone dies in an interaction with law enforcement, it's tragic.
9:24
Speaker 3: We don't want to see anybody die. But I will say,
9:28
Speaker 3: look that this woman had a very easy way to
9:32
Speaker 3: avoid fatal consequences, which is, when law enforcement detains you,
9:38
Speaker 3: you follow the instructions of law enforcement. If you're pulled
9:41
Speaker 3: over at the side of a road and law enforcement
9:44
Speaker 3: pulls you over, you follow their instructions and you don't
9:47
Speaker 3: drive your vehicle, in this case, a big SUV right
9:51
Speaker 3: at law enforcement because that look, that potentially can be fatal.
9:56
Speaker 3: And I have to say it's systematically true that the
10:00
Speaker 3: that if someone attacks law enforcement. You see instances where
10:04
Speaker 3: sometimes someone has pulled over and and they reach for
10:06
Speaker 3: and try to grab a police officer's taser or his weapon,
10:10
Speaker 3: and and an awful lot of those instances end up
10:13
Speaker 3: with with with a fatality because if if you if
10:17
Speaker 3: you present present what could be a deadly threat to
10:20
Speaker 3: a law enforcement officer, and many many instances, that's going
10:24
Speaker 3: to be the last thing you do. And and and unfortunately,
10:27
Speaker 3: this woman, I'm sure if she could could go back
10:30
Speaker 3: in time, she would have changed her behavior. But but
10:34
Speaker 3: the decision she made in that split second cost her life.
10:38
Speaker 3: And now we're seeing democrats deliberately stoking the fire and
10:43
Speaker 3: just just pouring gasoline on the divisions and anger, and
10:48
Speaker 3: it's incredibly cynical and incredibly harmful what they're doing.
10:51
Speaker 2: It's so sad to see them look at this almost
10:53
Speaker 2: like an opportunity to score political points. It was like, yes,
10:56
Speaker 2: we've got someone that's passed away. We can now seize
10:59
Speaker 2: on this, make our political statements. It is a tragedy,
11:03
Speaker 2: as you said earlier, that this woman died. I hate
11:05
Speaker 2: that this woman died, but you gave this law enforcement
11:09
Speaker 2: individual no other choice when you have a car coming
11:13
Speaker 2: right at you. And thank goodness, by the way, if
11:14
Speaker 2: you watch the video, there was some ice on the
11:17
Speaker 2: street there. It's winter, and the tires spun a little bit.
11:21
Speaker 2: If there wouldn't have been the ice there, there's a
11:23
Speaker 2: very good chance he'd be dead right now. It gave
11:26
Speaker 2: him the moment to be able to defend himself that
11:28
Speaker 2: he may not have had otherwise. And I think that's
11:30
Speaker 2: the part about this that I look at it and
11:32
Speaker 2: I'm like, no one wins in this situation. But you
11:35
Speaker 2: don't get to go out there when you don't like
11:37
Speaker 2: law enforcement and just decide I don't have to listen
11:40
Speaker 2: to them or I can run them over, and they said,
11:43
Speaker 2: Christyen Hoomes said it yesterday. More than a hundred incidents
11:46
Speaker 2: is of people using their cars to go at ICE
11:49
Speaker 2: agents in the last thirty days. This is happening all
11:52
Speaker 2: over the country because the left is organized for this
11:56
Speaker 2: exact reason.
11:57
Speaker 4: Yeah.
11:58
Speaker 3: And look, anytime there's an officer shooting, there will be
12:00
Speaker 3: an investigation. That standard procedure, so they'll go and examine
12:04
Speaker 3: the facts after the facts and then that's the way
12:06
Speaker 3: law enforcement operates anytime you've got a particularly a shooting
12:10
Speaker 3: involving a fatality. But but but it is it is
12:14
Speaker 3: amazing that this particular ICE agent, uh, Christinome, the DHS
12:18
Speaker 3: secretary said, had previously in recent months been hit by
12:23
Speaker 3: a car previously and dragged behind a car. So this
12:27
Speaker 3: is the second time this very same agent face this
12:30
Speaker 3: threat and and and and that's what we are seeing
12:35
Speaker 3: the the extreme left, uh that that are threatening Ice.
12:41
Speaker 3: They that they are they are in extreme cases shooting
12:46
Speaker 3: at ICE agents and and using their cars as weapons.
12:50
Speaker 3: And and I just wish you would see even a
12:55
Speaker 3: couple of Democrats demonstrate some restraint, dem straight, some prudence
13:02
Speaker 3: and not just all right, the mayor of Minneapolis. Yeah,
13:11
Speaker 3: left wing radical. Here was his calm, sober reflections on
13:17
Speaker 3: where to go from here.
13:18
Speaker 6: Give a listen, and I have a message for Ice
13:23
Speaker 6: to Ice, get out of Minneapolis. We do not want
13:29
Speaker 6: you here. Your stated reason for being in this city
13:33
Speaker 6: is to create some kind of safety, and you are
13:35
Speaker 6: doing exactly the opposite. People are being hurt, Families are
13:41
Speaker 6: being ripped apart. Long term Minneapolis residents that have contributed
13:46
Speaker 6: so greatly to our city, to our culture, to our
13:49
Speaker 6: economy are being terrorized. And now somebody is dead. That's
13:55
Speaker 6: on you, and it's also on you to leave. It's
14:00
Speaker 6: on you to make sure that further damage, further loss
14:05
Speaker 6: of life and injury, is not done.
14:08
Speaker 2: I never thought i'd see a day where I would
14:10
Speaker 2: witness a mayor be so political after something like this happens,
14:16
Speaker 2: to tell law enforcement who were just sitting to do
14:19
Speaker 2: their job to enforce the laws of the land, to
14:21
Speaker 2: get the f out and then say it's their fault.
14:25
Speaker 3: What a repulsive partisan swine like that is. I'm physically
14:33
Speaker 3: sick listening to and watching Jacob Fry. You know we
14:38
Speaker 3: talked about before how he you know, dances with glee
14:42
Speaker 3: waving the Somali flag and the massive fraud that has
14:46
Speaker 3: happened he has presided over and profited from.
14:49
Speaker 4: And here he is.
14:50
Speaker 3: You know what, this woman, a thirty seven year old woman,
14:55
Speaker 3: she's the mother of three. Look, she was there in
14:59
Speaker 3: part because of rhetoric like that, because of rhetoric attacking Ice.
15:04
Speaker 3: And and by the way, this woman she was married
15:07
Speaker 3: to another woman. Apparently her her wife was there videoing
15:12
Speaker 3: the entire incident. That that is a level of radicalization,
15:16
Speaker 3: and it is radicalization the Democrats have caused, they want
15:20
Speaker 3: and they're deliberately inflaming that passion center.
15:26
Speaker 2: Let's go back to just the rhetoric that is coming
15:28
Speaker 2: out of the left, and we're going to talk about
15:30
Speaker 2: the governor wats in a moment. But there's been also,
15:32
Speaker 2: i think a very back law enforcement mentality that's been
15:36
Speaker 2: clear across the entire Trump administration. I'm glad that's their
15:40
Speaker 2: line and they're not backing down from Ice doing their job.
15:43
Speaker 4: Look that that is absolutely right.
15:45
Speaker 3: President Trump has the back of Ice, has the back
15:48
Speaker 3: of border patrol agents and law enforcement. You know, I
15:52
Speaker 3: view my job as having the back of law enforcement.
15:54
Speaker 3: I'll tell you, as I travel the country, I see
15:56
Speaker 3: whether it's border patrol agents or ice agents, or sheriffs
15:59
Speaker 3: or local local police, and I tell them all the time,
16:02
Speaker 3: I just say thank you, and it's my job to
16:04
Speaker 3: have your back. And that's a big part of why
16:07
Speaker 3: President Trump was re elected in twenty twenty four is
16:11
Speaker 3: law enforcement. We're tired of having elected politicians who threw
16:15
Speaker 3: them under the bus at any excuse, and a lot
16:19
Speaker 3: of people across the country were tired of politicians who
16:22
Speaker 3: were letting violent criminals into this country and not standing
16:24
Speaker 3: with law enforcement. This week, Jade Vance, the Vice President,
16:28
Speaker 3: did a press conference at the White House. He did
16:30
Speaker 3: a very good job with it. Here's what he had
16:32
Speaker 3: to say about the shooting that happened in Minneapolis.
16:36
Speaker 5: Thank you for taking questions today.
16:38
Speaker 7: He is there a risk with you describing for as
16:41
Speaker 7: a deranged left as talking about very specific facts of
16:44
Speaker 7: these events when an investigation is just beginning. Are you
16:48
Speaker 7: preempting a thorough investigation by drawing such conclusions? And have
16:53
Speaker 7: you received any information beyond the videos we've seen publicly
16:57
Speaker 7: about this individual per specific act that has informed your
17:01
Speaker 7: point of view.
17:02
Speaker 8: Well, first of all, the Department of Justice is going
17:04
Speaker 8: to investigate this. The Department of Homeland Security is already
17:07
Speaker 8: investigating this. But the simple fact is what you see
17:11
Speaker 8: is what you get. In this case, you have a
17:12
Speaker 8: woman who is trying to obstruct a legitimate law enforcement operation.
17:16
Speaker 8: Nobody debates that you have a woman who aimed her
17:19
Speaker 8: car at a law enforcement officer and pressed on the accelerator.
17:22
Speaker 8: Nobody debates that I can believe that her death is
17:25
Speaker 8: a tragedy while also recognizing that it's a tragedy of
17:28
Speaker 8: her own making and a tragedy of the far left,
17:31
Speaker 8: who has marshaled an entire movement, a lunatic fringe against
17:35
Speaker 8: our law enforcement officers. I think what is clearly happening here,
17:39
Speaker 8: and it's going to keep on happening unless the Democrats
17:42
Speaker 8: wake up and say, you know what, you don't have
17:44
Speaker 8: to agree with our immigration policies. You don't have to
17:46
Speaker 8: agree with what the president or the vice president believe
17:48
Speaker 8: about immigration enforcement. But why don't you take this to
17:51
Speaker 8: the ballot box.
17:52
Speaker 4: Why don't you vote?
17:53
Speaker 8: Why don't you organize instead? What some of them are doing,
17:56
Speaker 8: what some of them are doing is encouraging people to
17:59
Speaker 8: get violent with our law enforcement officials. It's disgraceful and
18:03
Speaker 8: it's got to stop.
18:04
Speaker 2: It's sad that you have to have that type of clarity,
18:07
Speaker 2: but he's absolutely right in what he's saying. If you
18:09
Speaker 2: don't like something, you can vote and change, but you
18:10
Speaker 2: don't just get to make up the rules and target
18:13
Speaker 2: people you disagree with.
18:15
Speaker 3: Well and more and more, the left is condoning violence,
18:18
Speaker 3: violence on a partisan basis. And let me be clear,
18:20
Speaker 3: violence is always always wrong, whether whether I agree with
18:24
Speaker 3: your politics or disagree with your politics, nobody has a
18:28
Speaker 3: right to engage in violence. And and we're seeing on
18:30
Speaker 3: the left, more and more, we've seen the pole numbers
18:34
Speaker 3: of growing numbers of people on the left think violence
18:37
Speaker 3: is justified. Think violence is justified against Donald Trump. Think
18:40
Speaker 3: violence is justified against Elon Musk and and think violence
18:44
Speaker 3: is justified against Ice And it's it's fundamentally wrong, and
18:47
Speaker 3: and and and the Democrats are deliberately pushing this and
18:50
Speaker 3: and and listen, I will say, for this woman, she
18:53
Speaker 3: had complete control to avoid this happening. Yeah, and and
18:58
Speaker 3: and and any time you interact with law enforcement, I
19:01
Speaker 3: believe you should interact respectfully and understand. Look, Look, if
19:05
Speaker 3: a police officer pulls you over on the road, that officer.
19:09
Speaker 3: Every day it is potentially a deadly encounter for that officer.
19:12
Speaker 3: And every year you have officers who are shot and
19:14
Speaker 3: killed on the side of the road by some lunatic
19:18
Speaker 3: who's packing. They don't know when they're coming up, coming
19:22
Speaker 3: up to the driver's side. That's that in most instances,
19:24
Speaker 3: they have no idea who they're going to encounter. I'll
19:28
Speaker 3: tell you know again. You and I are parents. What
19:31
Speaker 3: when your kids start driving? With my kids, what I
19:34
Speaker 3: tell them is if you get pulled over, pull over,
19:37
Speaker 3: put the car in park, and put your hands on
19:40
Speaker 3: ten and two on the steering wheel, on the steering
19:43
Speaker 3: wheel visible because the officer coming up doesn't know if
19:48
Speaker 3: you have a firearm, doesn't know if you're a deadly threat.
19:50
Speaker 3: And by the way, the officer sees your hands at
19:52
Speaker 3: ten and two and realize you're showing the hands for
19:54
Speaker 3: a reason. The officer comes and says, let me see
19:57
Speaker 3: your license and registration. It's a good to tell the officer, Okay,
20:01
Speaker 3: my licenses is in my wallet. Can I get it
20:04
Speaker 3: so the officer doesn't think you're reaching for a gun beneath.
20:07
Speaker 4: The seat or something.
20:09
Speaker 3: Look, all of that is prudent it's the advice that
20:12
Speaker 3: I give my kids. It's the advice that every responsible
20:16
Speaker 3: parent I know, yeah, gives their child that that don't
20:20
Speaker 3: put yourself in a position where law enforcement has reason
20:25
Speaker 3: to be afraid, even if you're not a threat.
20:27
Speaker 4: Don't give them reason to be afraid.
20:29
Speaker 2: My dad was in law enforcement. He said to me
20:31
Speaker 2: so clearly. He said, I want to make it clear
20:33
Speaker 2: you never argue with law enforcement. If they're wrong, you
20:36
Speaker 2: get to go to court, but you always make sure
20:40
Speaker 2: you do not argue and you follow the orders given
20:43
Speaker 2: and if you've been wronged, that's why we have a judge.
20:46
Speaker 2: That's why we have a court system. And he was
20:48
Speaker 2: very clear, you're my son. I always want you to
20:50
Speaker 2: be safe. You turn your dome wide on, you turn
20:53
Speaker 2: the car off, you put your hands up there.
20:55
Speaker 1: It goes back to respect.
20:56
Speaker 2: But the left is now saying if you don't like them,
20:59
Speaker 2: for whatever reason, you don't have to abide by the rules.
21:03
Speaker 1: You don't have to respect the law.
21:05
Speaker 2: And if you don't like a law, instead of going
21:07
Speaker 2: in and actually voting and trying to change a law,
21:10
Speaker 2: they're saying, just be a vigilante.
21:11
Speaker 1: And that's how we've gotten to this point.
21:14
Speaker 3: And by the way, Ben At lunch Thursday, several of
21:17
Speaker 3: the senators were talking about exactly this topic, and Mike
21:20
Speaker 3: Lee brought it up. Although what he said is you
21:22
Speaker 3: should put your hands at nine and three instead of
21:24
Speaker 3: ten and two.
21:25
Speaker 4: I'm like, nine and three. Who drives like that?
21:27
Speaker 3: What are you Mario Andretti or something that's a little
21:30
Speaker 3: bit weird to nine and three. I don't know if
21:31
Speaker 3: that's a a Utah thing or what exactly that means. Uh,
21:36
Speaker 3: But I at least was talk ten and two, But
21:38
Speaker 3: I don't know how about you.
21:39
Speaker 4: Are you a ten and two?
21:40
Speaker 1: I'm at ten and too.
21:41
Speaker 2: But my dad always said, he's like if you, he said,
21:43
Speaker 2: when you get pulled over, cross your hands on the
21:45
Speaker 2: top of the steering wheel because it's showing that you're
21:47
Speaker 2: not trying to grab anything. And I'm like, every time
21:50
Speaker 2: I do it, almost nine und percent of time.
21:52
Speaker 1: One force always said to me, thank you. I turned
21:54
Speaker 1: the don one on.
21:54
Speaker 2: I rolled down all four windows because if they come
21:57
Speaker 2: on the left side.
21:58
Speaker 1: Of the right I don't want them not to worry about
21:59
Speaker 1: anything with me.
22:00
Speaker 2: They've had a hard enough day and they've done this,
22:03
Speaker 2: and like you said, they walk up to a traffic stop.
22:05
Speaker 2: They don't know if you just robbed a bank. That's
22:06
Speaker 2: what my dad always told me. They don't know if
22:08
Speaker 2: you just killed your wife. They don't know, if you
22:10
Speaker 2: just ran over someone. They don't know if you have
22:11
Speaker 2: drugs in the car. They don't know who you are.
22:14
Speaker 2: So make them comfortable with you. And and I wish
22:18
Speaker 2: we lived in a society where that was like the
22:20
Speaker 2: common denominator.
22:21
Speaker 1: Now unfortunately it's not.
22:24
Speaker 4: And that naturally de escalates.
22:26
Speaker 3: When you do that, you can see law enforcement kind
22:29
Speaker 3: of just you know, take an extra breath and okay,
22:33
Speaker 3: this is this is not going to be confrontational. And
22:36
Speaker 3: and listen, the reason that didn't happen is is this
22:38
Speaker 3: woman didn't want to de escalate. This woman was there
22:42
Speaker 3: to provoke a confrontation with law enforcement. She was there
22:45
Speaker 3: because the rhetoric on the left was is stand up
22:48
Speaker 3: and fight ice and and she was there to do
22:51
Speaker 3: that and and and and so it was the opposite
22:54
Speaker 3: of de escalation. She was looking to escalate, and and
22:57
Speaker 3: tragically she escalated too far. And she may look, we
23:02
Speaker 3: may never know her intention. She may have just think
23:05
Speaker 3: thought she was fleeing. Uh, But but the officer. If
23:09
Speaker 3: you drive a vehicle right at somebody, particularly an officer
23:12
Speaker 3: who's already been run over once just a few months
23:15
Speaker 3: ago by another leftist, you are posing a real and
23:21
Speaker 3: present threat. And and and if you pose a real
23:24
Speaker 3: and present threat to law enforcement, that that predictably can
23:29
Speaker 3: result in deadly force as a consequence.
23:31
Speaker 2: By the way side, note just I was talking to
23:33
Speaker 2: something in law enforce and they said, would you please
23:35
Speaker 2: just remind people that we will charge you with major
23:38
Speaker 2: crimes as a deadly weapon if you use your car
23:41
Speaker 2: to hit somebody.
23:42
Speaker 1: We do it every day in America. This isn't some
23:45
Speaker 1: new rule.
23:46
Speaker 2: You use your car as a deadly weapon, you will
23:49
Speaker 2: go to jail for that, whether you're going after law
23:51
Speaker 2: enforcement or an innocent person. It and and I think
23:55
Speaker 2: that's the important point for you to remember. If I
23:58
Speaker 2: was in front of that car, I could ease been
24:00
Speaker 2: run over. You could have anybody. That's why we have
24:03
Speaker 2: laws in the books that say you cannot use your
24:05
Speaker 2: car as a deadly weapon, and if you do, you
24:07
Speaker 2: will be charged with major crimes. It's sad that we
24:10
Speaker 2: even have to have this conversation. But the governor, by
24:13
Speaker 2: the way, center, he's not backing down. He's seeing a
24:16
Speaker 2: political opportunity here, the same disgrace Governor, because of the
24:20
Speaker 2: scandal that tappen in Minnesota. He's now out there calling
24:24
Speaker 2: like this in essence of civil war, trying to ratchet
24:26
Speaker 2: things up instead of bringing down the temperature, which is
24:30
Speaker 2: also I think really sick.
24:32
Speaker 3: And by the way, you remember back in twenty twenty two,
24:36
Speaker 3: the man in Waukeshaw, Wisconsin who drove his suv into
24:41
Speaker 3: a Christmas parade and murdered multiple people, did so very deliberately,
24:45
Speaker 3: using it as a deadly weapon and killing children, killing
24:50
Speaker 3: the elderly, and it was horrific.
24:52
Speaker 4: And the grotesque irony is that.
24:55
Speaker 3: He had previously used his car as a deadly weapon
24:58
Speaker 3: against if I remember correctly, is his pregnant girlfriend. Yeah,
25:03
Speaker 3: And he had been charged with it and then let
25:06
Speaker 3: out a jail on a nominal I think it was
25:09
Speaker 3: a five hundred dollars bond, because you had one of
25:13
Speaker 3: those George Soros prosecutors.
25:15
Speaker 4: Who lets people go.
25:16
Speaker 3: And they let him out of jail for attempting to
25:19
Speaker 3: kill someone with a car as a deadly weapon. And
25:21
Speaker 3: he went out to the Christmas Day parade and committed
25:24
Speaker 3: mass murder. A car can be a very deadly weapon.
25:28
Speaker 2: Senator, I want to go back to this the rhetoric here,
25:31
Speaker 2: and we mentioned the governor earlier. The governor Tim Waltz
25:34
Speaker 2: is now a disgraced governor. He had to drop out
25:37
Speaker 2: of his re election campaign because of the fraud that
25:40
Speaker 2: is just continuing to grow in the dollar amount and
25:43
Speaker 2: the different sectors of the government. I'm not sure there's
25:45
Speaker 2: any sector in Minnesota that wasn't involved in fraud and
25:49
Speaker 2: corruption at this point. We're seeing it in transportation, child care,
25:52
Speaker 2: the list goes on and on. But the governor now
25:55
Speaker 2: seems to think this is like a moment to seize
25:57
Speaker 2: on and he's now wanting to go to war with
26:00
Speaker 2: the federal government.
26:01
Speaker 1: It's very odd.
26:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, Look, the Democrat politicians in Minnesota are in crisis
26:07
Speaker 3: right now because this Somali fraud. It is the worst
26:11
Speaker 3: instance of fraud that has ever been uncovered in American history,
26:14
Speaker 3: nine billion dollars in counting massive theft from the taxpayers.
26:19
Speaker 4: It is so bad that Tim Waltz.
26:21
Speaker 3: I mean, remember, like twelve minutes ago the Democrats said
26:23
Speaker 3: he was going to be vice president of the United States,
26:26
Speaker 3: and now he's ended his campaign for re election even
26:30
Speaker 3: as governor, because look, I think he's facing potentially very
26:34
Speaker 3: real criminal liability for the fraud that unfolded under his leadership.
26:39
Speaker 3: And it is and Waltz and the mayor in Minneapolis
26:44
Speaker 3: that they're not the only ones. I think there's an
26:46
Speaker 3: entire array of Democrats who are responsible. And one of
26:51
Speaker 3: the reasons why they are so eager to foment riots.
26:56
Speaker 3: I mean, look that they are rooting for a replay
26:59
Speaker 3: of the Black Lives Matter and the Antifa riots we
27:03
Speaker 3: saw all over the country. They want people go into
27:05
Speaker 3: the streets, they want them looting stores, they want them
27:08
Speaker 3: fire bombing police cars. They are rooting for violence because
27:12
Speaker 3: they want to energize their voters and get everyone not
27:15
Speaker 3: talking about the fraud. Here's Tim Waltz, the governor, and
27:19
Speaker 3: here was his response, calling for all at war.
27:23
Speaker 9: Well, I said this yesterday. We've never been at war
27:25
Speaker 9: with our federal government. I think in this case that
27:31
Speaker 9: the National Guard is their main mission. They have a
27:34
Speaker 9: dual mission.
27:35
Speaker 2: When he said that and it went viral, I'm Mike,
27:38
Speaker 2: let me get this straight. You have a governor who
27:40
Speaker 2: is in a crisis situation. I'm talking about the Christs
27:43
Speaker 2: on the ground whose job is to back law enforcement,
27:46
Speaker 2: and his job is also to ratchet down the rhetoric
27:49
Speaker 2: so we don't have a civil war breakout. And he's like,
27:52
Speaker 2: maybe this is an opportunity for a civil war. He's
27:54
Speaker 2: saying that Minnesota is at war with the United States
27:57
Speaker 2: federal government.
27:58
Speaker 1: The governor just said that.
28:00
Speaker 3: Yeah, and listen, if you're an angry left wing radical,
28:04
Speaker 3: you already hate Ice, you already hate Donald Trump, and
28:09
Speaker 3: then you hear the elected Democrat governor say Minnesota is
28:15
Speaker 3: at war with the federal government. That is a call
28:19
Speaker 3: to violence. That is a call in war. People get killed,
28:24
Speaker 3: people get injured. That is Democrats very deliberately calling to violence.
28:31
Speaker 3: It is not we disagree over policy with the federal government.
28:35
Speaker 3: It is we are at war. And I think a
28:37
Speaker 3: huge part of this is a cya instinct because the
28:43
Speaker 3: fraud is so bad. And I want you to listen,
28:44
Speaker 3: the House representatives had a hearing on the fraud in Minnesota.
28:48
Speaker 3: By the way, I'm going to be charing a hearing
28:50
Speaker 3: on the same topic in just a couple of weeks,
28:51
Speaker 3: so we'll cover that in verdict when that happens. But
28:55
Speaker 3: I want you to listen to Brandon gil Brandon Gill
28:57
Speaker 3: is a good friend. He is a congressman from Tech
29:00
Speaker 3: says he's cross examining this, this left wing witness from Minnesota.
29:04
Speaker 3: I want you to listen to this exchange. It's really powerful.
29:08
Speaker 10: Thank you for being here. Ask you, does large scale
29:11
Speaker 10: Somali immigration make Minnesota stronger or weaker? Certainly stronger, certainly stronger.
29:17
Speaker 10: Do you know what percentage of Somali headed households in
29:20
Speaker 10: Minnesota are on food stamps?
29:22
Speaker 4: No?
29:23
Speaker 10: Fifty four percent. Do you know what that number is
29:25
Speaker 10: for Native Minnesota headed households.
29:28
Speaker 5: Well, to be clear, a majority of this.
29:30
Speaker 10: It's seven it's seven percent. There's a big difference between
29:32
Speaker 10: fifty four percent and seven percent?
29:34
Speaker 4: Is there?
29:34
Speaker 7: Not?
29:34
Speaker 4: Use me?
29:35
Speaker 5: So I could I answer the question?
29:36
Speaker 10: Let me let me move on. We've got a lot
29:38
Speaker 10: of questions here. What percentage of Somali headed households in
29:40
Speaker 10: Minnesota are on Medicaid?
29:42
Speaker 5: I don't know.
29:43
Speaker 10: It's seventy three percent. Do you know what that number
29:45
Speaker 10: is for Minnesota native households?
29:48
Speaker 5: Again, you're using the phrase Minnesota native households.
29:51
Speaker 4: The number.
29:52
Speaker 10: If the number is eighteen percent, that's a quite an
29:55
Speaker 10: astounding difference. I think we would. Can I answer the question? Please,
29:58
Speaker 10: let me ask you one more and then we can
29:59
Speaker 10: go onto that. What what percentage of Somali headed households
30:01
Speaker 10: are on welfare in general?
30:03
Speaker 5: I don't know.
30:04
Speaker 10: It's eighty one percent. What about let me just ask you,
30:07
Speaker 10: after ten years of being in the United States, what
30:09
Speaker 10: percentage of Somali immigrant households are on continue to be
30:13
Speaker 10: on welfare?
30:14
Speaker 5: I don't know.
30:16
Speaker 10: The number is seventy eight percent. So even after ten years,
30:19
Speaker 10: seventy eight percent of Somali immigrant households continue to be
30:24
Speaker 10: on welfare. Do you know what that number is for
30:26
Speaker 10: Native Minnesota headed households non Somali immigrant immigrant headed households.
30:33
Speaker 5: If I can just answer the question, you're using the
30:35
Speaker 5: phrase native Minnesotans. The majority of Somali Minnesotans are as
30:40
Speaker 5: Minnesota as any of us. They were born in the
30:42
Speaker 5: United States. It's only eight thousand of the one hundred
30:45
Speaker 5: and eight thousand.
30:46
Speaker 10: In Nevertheless, the welfare usage is astoundingly different. Let me
30:51
Speaker 10: ask you again, does that make Minnesota stronger or weaker?
30:54
Speaker 4: Again?
30:55
Speaker 5: I'd like the opportunity to answer the question here. So again,
30:59
Speaker 5: the majority Somali and Minnesotan's are born in the United States.
31:02
Speaker 5: Is I understand, okay, well.
31:03
Speaker 10: What percentage of working age Somalians who have been in
31:07
Speaker 10: the US for ten years or more? Ten years or more,
31:10
Speaker 10: how many of them speak English very well? I don't
31:13
Speaker 10: know about half. The answer is about half. That seems
31:17
Speaker 10: pretty low, doesn't it.
31:19
Speaker 2: I love just the facts there, Senator, like the way
31:22
Speaker 2: that he handled that, the reason why you're good friends with,
31:25
Speaker 2: the reason why we played it, because he's just laying
31:28
Speaker 2: out the reality of the situation on the ground and
31:31
Speaker 2: how we got to a point where virtually every government
31:33
Speaker 2: program in Minnesota has been compromised by the Somali community
31:36
Speaker 2: in this way where they could grab money and create
31:39
Speaker 2: fraud with it.
31:41
Speaker 3: But by the way Brandon got elected, he had a
31:44
Speaker 3: rough primary, He had a bunch of primary opponents, He
31:46
Speaker 3: had millions of dollars spent against him.
31:48
Speaker 4: Brandon is a conservative.
31:49
Speaker 3: Actually, his father in law is Danesh Desuzo, who's a
31:52
Speaker 3: good friend, and I endorsed Brandon early, went and campaigned
31:57
Speaker 3: with him, and he overcame a ton of money come
32:00
Speaker 3: against him. And part of what I told the voters
32:02
Speaker 3: of Texas is listen, if y'all elect brand and he's
32:05
Speaker 3: going to go and fight for you and make you proud.
32:07
Speaker 4: He's doing that. You know. I want to make a
32:09
Speaker 4: point about the.
32:10
Speaker 3: Back and forth because that that Weasley, Minnesota lefty witness.
32:15
Speaker 3: He kept saying, well, the majority of Somalians are are
32:19
Speaker 3: born in America. Now noted, note what Brandon Gill was asking.
32:23
Speaker 3: Somali immigrant headed households, and the guy says, well, they
32:26
Speaker 3: have a bunch anchor babies.
32:27
Speaker 4: In other words, we bring over Somali immigrants.
32:29
Speaker 3: Yeah, they have tons of babies here and because of
32:32
Speaker 3: birthright citizenship, which is a really foolish policy. And my
32:36
Speaker 3: hope is that the Supreme Court will side with President
32:40
Speaker 3: Trump and ending it. But the Somali immigrants come here,
32:45
Speaker 3: they have a lot of babies here. That guy's focusing
32:48
Speaker 3: on the babies, and Brandon's saying, all right, how about
32:51
Speaker 3: the person who heads the household and the person who
32:53
Speaker 3: heads the household? Are these Somali immigrants and you've got
32:56
Speaker 3: eighty one percent of them on welfare? And I tell
33:00
Speaker 3: you the staff that was really powerful was ten years
33:03
Speaker 3: later they've been here ten years, it's seventy eight percent
33:06
Speaker 3: still on welfare.
33:07
Speaker 4: This is a scam.
33:09
Speaker 3: The Democrats did it deliberately, and they did it to
33:11
Speaker 3: buy votes. They were importing votes to vote for Democrats.
33:15
Speaker 3: They allowed them to commit fraud to steal nine billion
33:18
Speaker 3: dollars and then to bundle those votes for the Democrats,
33:22
Speaker 3: to bundle cash for the Democrats, and the Democrats covered
33:24
Speaker 3: it up. And it's why Tim Waltzon, Jacob Fray and
33:27
Speaker 3: so many other Democrats are trying to enrage the left
33:31
Speaker 3: about this shooting with Ice because they want to cover
33:34
Speaker 3: up from the incredible theft and fraud they are responsible for.
33:39
Speaker 2: Ay Man, I couldn't agree with you more. Don't forget.
