- 1:47Speaker 1: No gold come through, no good show. No you're not.
- 1:53Speaker 1: You're not like you have to ear fuck the audience.
- 1:57Speaker 1: He's ear fucking Yours is like a secret. It's more
- 2:01Speaker 1: like it's more of like you're trying to flirt. It's
- 2:03Speaker 1: more of like you're trying to flirt with a million people.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Why does why does your why does why do you?
- 2:07Speaker 1: All of a sudden sound like like a soft spoken
- 2:12Speaker 1: It's like, all of a sudden, it turns into like
- 2:13Speaker 1: a soft spoken mcgrouper. Why does he part? I don't
- 2:19Speaker 1: get that it's because the accent that Will does when
- 2:22Speaker 1: he plays mcgrouper. Hey, guys, it's just he just gets
- 2:26Speaker 1: very like, the show's gonna be great. I don't know.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I don't know about that. I just know that the
- 2:31Speaker 1: show is gonna be great, and it's gonna be acoustic
- 2:34Speaker 1: and there'll be lights and and then you go to
- 2:37Speaker 1: the show and then you have a great time. Man. Yeah,
- 2:40Speaker 1: we're just we're just we're just giving. We're taking the
- 2:42Speaker 1: piss out of our friend. Go see Josh right, and
- 2:44Speaker 1: he's touring all around Europe right now, Um, Stockholm at
- 2:49Speaker 1: some point. I know he's just posted that he's in
- 2:52Speaker 1: Paris currently, but he's just look at go on to
- 2:54Speaker 1: his Instagram. He's so good live and um, it's so
- 2:57Speaker 1: fun and we like to take the piss out of
- 2:59Speaker 1: his radio slash Instagram whisper voice. But he is a
- 3:04Speaker 1: talented fellow. Um our is our guests here, We have
- 3:07Speaker 1: a guest for you, guys. They are not here. They're
- 3:09Speaker 1: not here, but I just texted them too, so I
- 3:11Speaker 1: don't think that our guest uses that they them pronouns
- 3:14Speaker 1: U DJ Dannel. I was more trying to be discreet,
- 3:18Speaker 1: discreet and keep it, keep it a secret so that
- 3:21Speaker 1: the don't know either or so is they them? Is
- 3:24Speaker 1: they them? Here? Is they them? Needed text from your
- 3:27Speaker 1: I texted, okay, anyway, we have a surprise guest from you.
- 3:33Speaker 1: It's been a moment since we've had this guest. We
- 3:36Speaker 1: also have another surprise, great, great guests for the end
- 3:39Speaker 1: of the show. I'm so excited we have such a show.
- 3:42Speaker 1: The episode. What did you think of the episode? Don
- 3:44Speaker 1: I laughed very hard at this episode. I laughed good.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Did you laugh a lot? Yes? I did. It was
- 3:50Speaker 1: a funny one. Season six. Season six is redeeming itself
- 3:53Speaker 1: a little bit this episode. For sure. I'm in Manhattan,
- 3:56Speaker 1: can you tell? Yes? I can tell. I can tell
- 3:59Speaker 1: by all the city lights and the tall buildings. And no,
- 4:02Speaker 1: those aren't in my background. I know. I was trying
- 4:05Speaker 1: not to tell everybody where exactly you were in Manhattan.
- 4:08Speaker 1: But he's in his loft everyone. I'm in New York City,
- 4:12Speaker 1: which is so fun. I'm seeing The music Man tonight,
- 4:14Speaker 1: which I'm very excited about because The music Man, interestingly enough,
- 4:18Speaker 1: was my very very first edition. There's a character of
- 4:21Speaker 1: Winthrop and music Man, and he sings the song Gary Indiana, Gary, Indiana, Gary, Indiana.
- 4:28Speaker 1: That's the town that knew me when something like that. Anyway,
- 4:32Speaker 1: I for the Community for the Community Theater my very
- 4:36Speaker 1: first edition at like eight years old. My dad brought
- 4:39Speaker 1: me and I stood on a stage. I'd never heard
- 4:41Speaker 1: the song before. I had played it on the record
- 4:43Speaker 1: like a hundred times literally on a record player to
- 4:46Speaker 1: try and learn the song. And I got up there
- 4:50Speaker 1: and I was so nervous, and I sang the song
- 4:53Speaker 1: and I didn't get the part. My father, to his credit,
- 4:57Speaker 1: would always get the lead. He was like, he was
- 4:59Speaker 1: so town. He was such a talented actor. He would
- 5:02Speaker 1: always get the lead in the play. But when he
- 5:05Speaker 1: found out that I that, they said, Zack's not going
- 5:08Speaker 1: to get the part of Winthrop, the child lead, but
- 5:11Speaker 1: he can be in the chorus as one of the
- 5:12Speaker 1: many children because it's about children learning music. My dad said,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I won't take the lead. I'll be in the chorus
- 5:19Speaker 1: with my son. Wow. And so my dad and I
- 5:23Speaker 1: bonded as we were in the chorus together of this show.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So I have a very very special place in my
- 5:28Speaker 1: heart for the show. It stars a Sutton Foster, who's
- 5:33Speaker 1: one of the most talented people on the stage. And
- 5:36Speaker 1: Hugh Jackman, who Donald knows as Wolverine, not only as Wolverine,
- 5:42Speaker 1: but the greatest showman. I don't know if you've ever
- 5:44Speaker 1: seen yet Hugh Jackman. Cox hates you Jackman, and in
- 5:49Speaker 1: real life, yeah, because he's jealous because but in real life, man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: Hugh Jackman is probably one of the most talented individuals
- 5:59Speaker 1: on the plant it. I mean, he can do everything
- 6:01Speaker 1: from action adventure to romantic comedies to freaking dancing on
- 6:07Speaker 1: Broadway and singing on Broadway. And he's very beloved. I
- 6:09Speaker 1: don't know that he has many haters, like like, other
- 6:13Speaker 1: than Cox, you don't hear people like ever say like nobody, No, nobody,
- 6:17Speaker 1: doesn't feel like people are really um on the fence
- 6:19Speaker 1: about Hugh Jackman. He's just very well liked. Yeah, except
- 6:23Speaker 1: for like Deadpool. Like Deadpool doesn't like Hugh Jackman. He
- 6:27Speaker 1: doesn't like the because of the But that's a character thing.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's the same thing as Cox in the same way.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I imagine John c McGinley enjoys watching Hugh Jackman in
- 6:36Speaker 1: his work. I saw if he ever comes on the
- 6:40Speaker 1: show again. I saw a teaser for a movie that
- 6:43Speaker 1: looked um so uninteresting to me, but I think you
- 6:46Speaker 1: were going to be excited. I went to the movie
- 6:48Speaker 1: theater last night and I saw a trailer for the
- 6:53Speaker 1: new It looks amazing. That two looks amazing, Marble and Marvel.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Donald is gonna love this. Marvel has two movies that
- 7:06Speaker 1: I am really excited to see. Well, you know my
- 7:09Speaker 1: buddy Sam Rainey, who I was directed by. He directed
- 7:15Speaker 1: Strange and I must also directed all of the Toby
- 7:18Speaker 1: Maguire Spider Man's Man, and it's great to have him
- 7:21Speaker 1: back in the Marble universe. Sam had this I don't
- 7:25Speaker 1: know what happy though. I guess Oz didn't really work
- 7:27Speaker 1: and Hollywood is so rough. You can have you can
- 7:30Speaker 1: have twenty hits and then you you have one giant
- 7:34Speaker 1: movie that doesn't work and you go for a little
- 7:35Speaker 1: time out or something. I'm just guessing because I don't
- 7:38Speaker 1: know why, or maybe Sam just was exhausted by the
- 7:40Speaker 1: system and wanted to take a break. But I'm so
- 7:43Speaker 1: happy for him that he's back. The movie looks incredible.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I mean again, it's not my cup of tea, but
- 7:47Speaker 1: it looks incredible. Dude, you'd like you would like the
- 7:50Speaker 1: Doctor Strange universe. You would like interest that story, no interest?
- 7:55Speaker 1: I know you like you know, I like that that
- 7:58Speaker 1: That actress is incredible, m Um, Elizabeth Olson, Elizabeth Elizabeth Olsen. Well,
- 8:04Speaker 1: it takes place right after wand Division. I know you're watching. No,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I think there's the trailer Intoicaates is a little bit
- 8:09Speaker 1: of a wand Division tie in. M M. I'm really
- 8:13Speaker 1: excited for that. You know what I'm really excited for though, Well,
- 8:19Speaker 1: as long as they're salty, baby, as long as they're salty.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Know that new Thor movie looked yeah and isntal this one.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Natalie's the all Might or something where she was ripped.
- 8:35Speaker 1: She well, she's always been ripped her whole career, except
- 8:37Speaker 1: for when she was pregnantly, but other than that, she's
- 8:41Speaker 1: always been been training to be a Marvel star. As
- 8:43Speaker 1: my point, dude, she was ripped in Star Wars. She
- 8:46Speaker 1: was ripped. I mean like she's always had like a
- 8:49Speaker 1: physique of an action hero. Daniel, do you agree that
- 8:52Speaker 1: Natalie's arms look slightly bigger than they've been in other films. Well,
- 8:56Speaker 1: she's thor, she's supposed to have bigger the boy he's
- 9:01Speaker 1: trying to make. I think she has all stopped Dick
- 9:04Speaker 1: riding Daniel Daniel? Is they then not here yet? Uh? No?
- 9:12Speaker 1: And do you want to or not responding? I will
- 9:14Speaker 1: give I will give a phone call. Why don't you
- 9:16Speaker 1: go offline? Okay? We can say whatever we want. He
- 9:18Speaker 1: can go offline. I can say I love we want Okay.
- 9:22Speaker 1: So there's that all right. Now, here's what I'm really
- 9:27Speaker 1: excited for. And I don't know when it's I know
- 9:30Speaker 1: when it's dropping, and I know a lot of stories
- 9:33Speaker 1: about it because I have people on the inside. But
- 9:36Speaker 1: that obi wan kenobi man. Yes, good, that does look amazing.
- 9:41Speaker 1: It looks great, and it looks like money was spent well,
- 9:47Speaker 1: but well that's always important. Yeah. Now your buddy, uh
- 9:51Speaker 1: you're are you a fan of Hayden Christiansen? Um? He's
- 9:54Speaker 1: I mean rumored to be back on the show. I
- 9:57Speaker 1: do like Hayden, and I don't think. What are the
- 10:00Speaker 1: rumors if Darth Maul is going to show up. I
- 10:03Speaker 1: hope Darth Maul shows up. There's rumors that Ahsoka could
- 10:06Speaker 1: show up. There's so many rumors. There's so many, so many,
- 10:09Speaker 1: so many rumors, none of them. I have no I
- 10:12Speaker 1: have zero wends a premiere. I just coming up right
- 10:15Speaker 1: like the twenty eighth or some shit like, Oh, you
- 10:17Speaker 1: gotta wait a minute, you gotta wait a month. I'm sorry. Yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 1: but I'm excited. I'm excited. I wish you were coming
- 10:23Speaker 1: to the theater with me tonight. I wish I was
- 10:25Speaker 1: coming with you today. You're always so fun. And then
- 10:27Speaker 1: we go out after and have some dranks. Yeah. Well,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you know what, last time I had an early call
- 10:33Speaker 1: and I after theater, you guys went, you, Preston and
- 10:37Speaker 1: Flow went to some like freaking party somewhere with the
- 10:42Speaker 1: cast of the Mulan Rouge or I don't know where
- 10:45Speaker 1: you went, but you guys went somewhere because I had to.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I had to get back to Jersey because I had
- 10:48Speaker 1: an early call all pre COVID, right before COVID. I
- 10:52Speaker 1: got to go back to Miami, UM tomorrow to work
- 10:55Speaker 1: more on my UM. Or you have Lawrence Vince Vaughan show.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I'm doing a scene finally with Vince on Thursday, UM,
- 11:04Speaker 1: and I'm really excited about it because I think he's incredible.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Do you remember your introduction to Vince von dude? Not
- 11:11Speaker 1: as a human being, like face to face, but like
- 11:14Speaker 1: do you remember your introduction? Yeah, do you remember do
- 11:17Speaker 1: you remember quoting that movie and quoting, well, Swingers was
- 11:22Speaker 1: our life because it was it was not only the
- 11:24Speaker 1: funny it was it was such an insider Hollywood movie
- 11:28Speaker 1: and it was and it was so about our lives.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It was like young actors movie coming from New York,
- 11:34Speaker 1: from New York coming to LA. Yeah, I moved out
- 11:37Speaker 1: to LA and like trying to make it in LA
- 11:40Speaker 1: and like the whole adjustment to being an LA person
- 11:44Speaker 1: and trying to struggle to become an unknown actor. I
- 11:47Speaker 1: mean it was it was such a I mean, people
- 11:49Speaker 1: loved the movie who had nothing to do with Hollywood,
- 11:51Speaker 1: but for us, it was so specifically our our lives,
- 11:55Speaker 1: right and completely I mean other than like I didn't
- 11:58Speaker 1: go to the Dresden. I didn't go. Yeah, I didn't go,
- 12:01Speaker 1: but we went to other We went to other places
- 12:03Speaker 1: like that, you know, Yeah, but I didn't go to
- 12:05Speaker 1: that stuff. But like completely everybody taking their own car
- 12:09Speaker 1: to the club, you know what I mean, it was
- 12:11Speaker 1: fun and then everyone would be everyone put the club
- 12:13Speaker 1: on their car on, putting the casual club on their car. Yeah,
- 12:18Speaker 1: and then having that one friend that's out of their
- 12:20Speaker 1: mind crazy and would pull a gun on somebody like.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It was like it hit all of the It hit
- 12:26Speaker 1: all of the playing poker, yeah, playing poker, all of
- 12:30Speaker 1: the stereotypes that happened when you first moved to Los Angeles.
- 12:35Speaker 1: And even like those inside of jokes about like when
- 12:37Speaker 1: the girl gives him his number, it's Heather Graham actually
- 12:39Speaker 1: and right, it's like, uh, and they go, who would
- 12:41Speaker 1: you get? It's like they go, they go a one eight,
- 12:45Speaker 1: they go eight one eight. Uh, they go a one eight.
- 12:48Speaker 1: He goes no, uh, two on three they go, oh no,
- 12:51Speaker 1: he go, you go a one eight two on three,
- 12:54Speaker 1: he goes three one Oh. They go, oh, yeah, what's happening? Man.
- 13:01Speaker 1: He doesn't do that. He doesn't do it like that anymore. Man,
- 13:04Speaker 1: he'd makes Star Wars movies. Man. I think him and
- 13:06Speaker 1: Vince need to make a show. Or I really told him.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I saw Vince down there. Um, I got up super
- 13:14Speaker 1: early to go to go to set, and he wasn't
- 13:16Speaker 1: working that day, but he was super early. There's a
- 13:19Speaker 1: where we're staying, there's a shared um like coffee spot,
- 13:23Speaker 1: and I saw him and we sat down for a
- 13:24Speaker 1: second and just chatted, and I was like, I just
- 13:26Speaker 1: gotta get this out of the way, Vince, the outtakes
- 13:28Speaker 1: from the movie made are one of the funniest things
- 13:30Speaker 1: I've ever seen. And he just started laughing, and I said,
- 13:34Speaker 1: the movies are great, dude, but I think one of
- 13:36Speaker 1: the hardest of her laughs is watching Jon Favreau try
- 13:39Speaker 1: not to laugh while you're riffing jokes on per Diem.
- 13:43Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, I always he goes. I always thought
- 13:45Speaker 1: pretty much a funny thing when I became an actor, like,
- 13:48Speaker 1: so he goes. I was just I was just I
- 13:49Speaker 1: just turned it into that guy. But he goes. I
- 13:52Speaker 1: just thought it was so weird. You get to a location,
- 13:54Speaker 1: the hand you a stack of money and you're like,
- 13:56Speaker 1: so this is this is for me, but you're paying me.
- 14:00Speaker 1: You're paying me, but this this stack of money for me.
- 14:03Speaker 1: This is my view, So this is mine right all right? Donald? Um,
- 14:09Speaker 1: I think Daniel has figured out our guests. But first
- 14:12Speaker 1: countersem Baby Girl six seven about show we made about
- 14:20Speaker 1: a bunch of docs and nurses stories. So yet around here, yea,
- 14:32Speaker 1: around here, all right, Daniel bringing the guests, I'll bring
- 14:40Speaker 1: in the guests. I'm excited about this. I don't know
- 14:43Speaker 1: if it's gonna work. There's some confusion. There's often confusion,
- 14:46Speaker 1: especially when Joel's not around. You know, you'll Joel, let's
- 14:50Speaker 1: let's let's just keep it honest. Joel is the Queen
- 14:54Speaker 1: of me yes and makes it and makes it run
- 14:56Speaker 1: so special. There he is, Ladies and gentlemen, um direct
- 15:00Speaker 1: from his car. Johnny c McGinley, thunderous applause, please, Daniel, Hi, Zackie,
- 15:08Speaker 1: what up? Buddy? Hi? What's up? Brother? We you know.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I guess there was a bit of miscommunication, which happens
- 15:17Speaker 1: because Donald and I are both working and flying all around.
- 15:20Speaker 1: And I understand that you got misinformation, but we wanted
- 15:26Speaker 1: to have you on the show either way, even if
- 15:28Speaker 1: you're just in a car. We just want to talk
- 15:30Speaker 1: to you because we miss you and we love you,
- 15:32Speaker 1: and we want to talk about how ripped you looked
- 15:34Speaker 1: at Easter. Oh my god, dude, what are you doing?
- 15:37Speaker 1: What are you doing? Are you on that new Genics? Like?
- 15:40Speaker 1: What's going on? Bro? I was so happy to see
- 15:43Speaker 1: you guys at Easter. I can't I was buzzing off
- 15:45Speaker 1: that I can't even tell you, but Johnny, you looked
- 15:48Speaker 1: like a professional weightlifter, and I want you to be
- 15:50Speaker 1: honest with the audience. They won't tell anyone what steroids
- 15:54Speaker 1: are you using? What do you recommend? You're fucking ripped? Dude, dude,
- 16:04Speaker 1: you're looking great, man, amazing. I was filled with so
- 16:08Speaker 1: much love seeing you guys. Do you think I'm bullshitting
- 16:10Speaker 1: but I'm not. My cup was full of seeing my
- 16:13Speaker 1: Zaki and my deep missile. Did you did you see
- 16:18Speaker 1: how did you see how excited Um Donald was to
- 16:22Speaker 1: be around his hero Harrison Ford? Yeah? Why, I mean
- 16:27Speaker 1: it makes sense to me. Yeah, you know, you know
- 16:31Speaker 1: it was missing, Judy was missing and Sarah was missing.
- 16:35Speaker 1: That was truly, That was truly. You know, it would
- 16:38Speaker 1: be nice to see Judy and her daughter and her husband,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and Sarah and her kids. It would be great to see.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Don't know that Sarah comes down here that much anymore,
- 16:49Speaker 1: to the to to United States because she shoots her
- 16:52Speaker 1: show in Van Groovy and she lives in Van Groovy.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Is it on Netflix? Yeah? You want on shit. It's
- 17:00Speaker 1: not about anyone shooting lasers out of their ass. I've
- 17:05Speaker 1: watched Firefly Lane. What are you talking about? Oh? What
- 17:07Speaker 1: Casey makes you watch Firefly Lane? Yes, you're a liar,
- 17:14Speaker 1: You're a fucking liar. There's no way you're watching firefly Lane, Johnny.
- 17:18Speaker 1: How are you? What's going on in your life? We
- 17:20Speaker 1: were talking, we were talking about how Daniel's helping you
- 17:22Speaker 1: build a secret golf cabin golf thing. Yeah, Daniel came
- 17:29Speaker 1: out to my home and I've spent the last couple
- 17:33Speaker 1: of weeks building a foundation for a six byte at
- 17:36Speaker 1: ten by sixteen shack that I'm putting up that has
- 17:40Speaker 1: enough clearance in it with no rafters or anything like
- 17:42Speaker 1: that for me to take a full swing with a
- 17:45Speaker 1: driver and have enough clearance overhead for this to be
- 17:48Speaker 1: a full on golf shack. And I've been thinking about
- 17:51Speaker 1: it for a long time and then I pulled the
- 17:54Speaker 1: trigger on it, and so I'm shoulder deep in this.
- 17:56Speaker 1: The build is on the seventeenth and the eighteenth of May.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I'm just out of my kits excited. Wait, hold on,
- 18:02Speaker 1: the build is on the seventeenth. But you prepped before
- 18:06Speaker 1: the build. Man. It's not like they're coming in and
- 18:08Speaker 1: they're gonna have nothing to I mean they're gonna have
- 18:11Speaker 1: to do all of it. You literally have dug a
- 18:14Speaker 1: fucking what is it? Is it gonna have a sink
- 18:19Speaker 1: in it or something like that, like you've dug all
- 18:21Speaker 1: the way from why does the golf need to sink? No,
- 18:25Speaker 1: he's done. It's it's like he's dug a trench. First
- 18:28Speaker 1: he had to dig a trench, then he dug a hole.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Then he freaking has filled the hole. We're doing all
- 18:34Speaker 1: this yourself, Johnny, Yes, man, Yeah, I get off on it.
- 18:37Speaker 1: It's like it's my thing. That's cool. I wish I
- 18:40Speaker 1: had to do that. I can't do the finish craft,
- 18:44Speaker 1: but I can do the Irish donkey stuff, like I
- 18:47Speaker 1: can dig a trench. I can build a foundation. I
- 18:51Speaker 1: just can't do the craftsman finish work. Well, I'm very
- 18:55Speaker 1: excited for you. Will Donald be invited because Donald really
- 18:58Speaker 1: likes golf and his dream running back. I gotta get
- 19:01Speaker 1: my swing back his dream, Johnny, we have a sea
- 19:04Speaker 1: bag of vance. You've done lost your swing? I lost
- 19:06Speaker 1: my swing. Well. Donald vacillates between obsession with tennis and
- 19:10Speaker 1: obsession with golf, and he's currently back on tennis. Yeah,
- 19:14Speaker 1: but golf not so much. But but um, I think
- 19:17Speaker 1: once Johnny has his his his golf shack, I'll beat
- 19:20Speaker 1: it every day. Yeah. When I told Donald, he just
- 19:23Speaker 1: made it very clear he is he wants nothing to
- 19:25Speaker 1: do with building it. He made that fun clear. Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 1: well that was that was the I get the trick.
- 19:32Speaker 1: The trick is, I'm building a golf shack. Oh shit,
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'd love to come check out what you've built. You
- 19:37Speaker 1: come down and then all of a sudden, you're fucking
- 19:39Speaker 1: knee deep in soil and fucking wood and chap shit
- 19:44Speaker 1: doing that? Okay, how do you make out in Miami? Um?
- 19:49Speaker 1: I'm I'm in New York right now. I've been shooting
- 19:52Speaker 1: down in Miami. I shot with Rob Delaney, who's um
- 19:57Speaker 1: really talented and funny COMMUNI an actor, and I did
- 20:01Speaker 1: a scene with and I'm working with Meredith Hagner, who's
- 20:05Speaker 1: just an incredible funny comedian. And I start with Vince
- 20:08Speaker 1: on Thursday. Wow. And so how do you how do
- 20:12Speaker 1: you as an unbelievably accomplished actor and film director, how
- 20:17Speaker 1: do you approach these things? Do you have does it
- 20:20Speaker 1: not matter whether it's a TV show or a film
- 20:23Speaker 1: or a play. Do you have an approach like I,
- 20:26Speaker 1: I approached the text the same way no matter what.
- 20:29Speaker 1: As a director, do you have an approach that's that's
- 20:32Speaker 1: metered and works for you. Well, it's a great question, Johnny.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I I try and let every director know right away
- 20:40Speaker 1: because I do both that. Don't worry. I'm not going
- 20:43Speaker 1: to try and suggest shots because I wonder. I think
- 20:47Speaker 1: it would be in the back of my mind if
- 20:48Speaker 1: I was working with an actor director that they would
- 20:51Speaker 1: be like, oh, I hope they're not going to come
- 20:54Speaker 1: on my set and be like, why did you put
- 20:56Speaker 1: the camera there? So I I just I'm very hit
- 20:59Speaker 1: all the time. I don't um so, you know, I
- 21:04Speaker 1: just kind of get the vibe. It's always weird when
- 21:05Speaker 1: you're coming onto a set that's uh that's been going
- 21:08Speaker 1: and everyone knows each other. Um but um. But I
- 21:12Speaker 1: just try and just stick to my I get try
- 21:14Speaker 1: and get to know the actors. The good news is
- 21:16Speaker 1: that I went out to dinner with both Meredith and
- 21:20Speaker 1: Rob who I had my first scene with, and we
- 21:22Speaker 1: had a good laugh and and you know, it's great
- 21:24Speaker 1: just getting them. Vince, who I work with tomorrow, I
- 21:27Speaker 1: was really excuse me Thursday, I was really nervous because
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm such a fan and I was just telling these
- 21:32Speaker 1: guys before you got on and ran into him at
- 21:33Speaker 1: a coffee and we just sat down and had a
- 21:36Speaker 1: great chat and he was super cool, and um, so
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm excited. You know, that's where I get nervous. I
- 21:41Speaker 1: get nervous about just walking onto a set cold and
- 21:47Speaker 1: not knowing the actors like so many we should reference
- 21:50Speaker 1: on on scrubs wonderful what they call day players. That
- 21:54Speaker 1: means you're you're coming on for a day or two
- 21:56Speaker 1: to do some relatively small parts. These people have to
- 22:00Speaker 1: come in it's a well oiled machine and just just
- 22:03Speaker 1: keep up. And we were so lucky to have so
- 22:07Speaker 1: many people do that. In this particular episode, of course,
- 22:09Speaker 1: we have Michael Weston. Did Michael Weston get this gig
- 22:12Speaker 1: through you, Zachie, because I know you guys were. Yes.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I mean, I imagine Michael Weston would have gotten this
- 22:19Speaker 1: gig on his own because he's a wonderful actor. But
- 22:21Speaker 1: I am sure that because we started out as roommates
- 22:26Speaker 1: when we got to LA. But you guys did a
- 22:28Speaker 1: movie first together, didn't you before you were roommates. That's true.
- 22:31Speaker 1: We met on a movie. My very first lead role
- 22:35Speaker 1: in a movie called Getting to Know You with Heather Mutterazzo,
- 22:39Speaker 1: and it was a million dollars Indie. We did down
- 22:41Speaker 1: in South in Asbury Park, and and that was a
- 22:47Speaker 1: great experience, one of the best experiences of my life,
- 22:49Speaker 1: because it was like my first part on a movie
- 22:52Speaker 1: on location, and it was I was I was so excited,
- 22:56Speaker 1: and Michael and I really bonded. And then we went
- 22:59Speaker 1: to fundanced with that movie and I think it got sold.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And then we decided to become roommates in LA and
- 23:07Speaker 1: so we were we lived together. And then and then
- 23:11Speaker 1: when I got Garden State up and running, I asked
- 23:15Speaker 1: him to do a funny cameos as a cop who
- 23:18Speaker 1: pulled me over? Who pulls me over? And and so
- 23:23Speaker 1: he did a funny cameo in that. And then when
- 23:25Speaker 1: Scrubs is happening, I said, oh, you gotta we gotta
- 23:27Speaker 1: find something for you to do on this. I'm sure,
- 23:30Speaker 1: I'm sure I was the I was the catalyst, although
- 23:32Speaker 1: of course he could have gotten it himself because he's
- 23:34Speaker 1: so darned good, right. I didn't know that history. I
- 23:37Speaker 1: knew there was a history, but I didn't know it.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You guys have done like four or five movies together,
- 23:42Speaker 1: you and Mike, Yeah, and Michael, if you remember Wish
- 23:44Speaker 1: I was here my film, Those of you've seen it.
- 23:46Speaker 1: He was the the obnoxious guy who was harassing Kate
- 23:49Speaker 1: Hudson's character at work. You're going to see a play
- 23:52Speaker 1: with someone that you did a movie with, Mikey Weston
- 23:55Speaker 1: with a play you said, setting Fosters into play such
- 24:00Speaker 1: a farster. Do now, you guys did a play together.
- 24:02Speaker 1: You didn't do the movie together. Who did you do
- 24:04Speaker 1: the movie with? The real World actress? I mean she was, Oh,
- 24:08Speaker 1: just Sinda Barrett, who's incredible. It's an insult to call
- 24:11Speaker 1: her a real world actress, although she was. True, Yes,
- 24:15Speaker 1: it is true. She was a She was on an
- 24:19Speaker 1: series season of Real World, and I remember having the
- 24:22Speaker 1: biggest crush on her because she was so pretty. And
- 24:26Speaker 1: then she's one of the rare I don't know if
- 24:28Speaker 1: anybody else from the real world has. There are a
- 24:29Speaker 1: couple of people that have that have really that have
- 24:32Speaker 1: branched off into the anyway, she became a really great actress.
- 24:35Speaker 1: She was my girlfriend in Last Kiss and she's or
- 24:38Speaker 1: something like that, right, I don't know if we weren't
- 24:40Speaker 1: we were pregnant fiance, yeah, fiance yeah, um, and um.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Mikey Weston plays one of my best friends in that
- 24:51Speaker 1: she's married to Gabriel Mocked, who's a really good actor.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Just a little bit of trivia. All right, let's get
- 24:56Speaker 1: in the episode. Johnny will remind you m Sasha I had.
- 25:00Speaker 1: My character is just this is called my therapeutic months, everybody,
- 25:04Speaker 1: so just remind you the convention of this is it
- 25:06Speaker 1: all takes place over a month. The storyline with you,
- 25:11Speaker 1: Johnny is that Donald has broken his hand because he
- 25:14Speaker 1: and I were getting into some mischief with the ceiling fan.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Donald was trying to show off how he could put
- 25:21Speaker 1: his hand in and out of the ceiling fan without
- 25:23Speaker 1: getting it touched, and then I said faster or something. Yea.
- 25:29Speaker 1: All I remember is this. I remember actually shooting this.
- 25:33Speaker 1: I remember the Obie Brown talk. I remember the I
- 25:37Speaker 1: remember I remember the ceiling fan, and I remember being like,
- 25:41Speaker 1: is that I remember that day being like, is that
- 25:43Speaker 1: thing gonna hold me? Who directed this episode? I want
- 25:46Speaker 1: to feel like Ken Ken Winningham. No, Winningham directed it,
- 25:49Speaker 1: that's right, because sorry to yell, sorry to yell. I'm
- 25:52Speaker 1: working on it. I'm working on it. I'm working on
- 25:55Speaker 1: it anyway. And I remember spinning around on that thing
- 25:58Speaker 1: and being like, all right, I could speed it up.
- 26:00Speaker 1: A little bit, all right, you could go a little
- 26:02Speaker 1: faster and at one point my legs literally are in
- 26:05Speaker 1: the area. It's so funny. It's so funny, and and
- 26:10Speaker 1: I go he was like a beautiful brown blur. Yeah.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So there are a lot of things that happen in
- 26:18Speaker 1: the cold open that are like pretty iconic for scrubs. Yes,
- 26:22Speaker 1: there's the deck, Yes, Sasha, Yes, Lloyd. Yes, we learned
- 26:28Speaker 1: that Lloyd was on crack. Well, Lloyd, we learned how
- 26:32Speaker 1: to crack problem. And we also learned that Lloyd loves
- 26:35Speaker 1: speed metal, right, which comes back in a very funny
- 26:39Speaker 1: which comes back in a very funny way later on
- 26:42Speaker 1: in the show where he's driving You guys are on
- 26:45Speaker 1: your way to work. This hit had me rolling. First
- 26:47Speaker 1: of all, we learned that he loves speed metal. Then
- 26:49Speaker 1: we learned that JD can't can't hear himself think when
- 26:53Speaker 1: speed metals on, so he turned it down. Went in
- 26:56Speaker 1: the car with Lloyd literally doing it. I'm literally doing
- 27:00Speaker 1: one of the voiceovers, and in the voiceover you hear
- 27:03Speaker 1: the speed metal. He's yelling over it, and I'm yelling
- 27:06Speaker 1: over so I reach over to turn down Lloyd's speed
- 27:10Speaker 1: metal so that I can hear myself think in the voiceover,
- 27:14Speaker 1: and then he does the voice over and then turns
- 27:16Speaker 1: them speed metal back up and then Lloyd then Lloyd
- 27:20Speaker 1: did Lloyd? This also had me laughing. Lloyd tells j
- 27:24Speaker 1: D take the wheel. J D takes the wheel so
- 27:28Speaker 1: Lloyd could drum solo. Yeah. Then he pushes j D's
- 27:33Speaker 1: hand away so he can take the wheel again. Yea
- 27:35Speaker 1: and rock out to his to his speed metal. You're
- 27:40Speaker 1: very funny, Johnny, Johnny, how funny was Mike Schwartz money?
- 27:47Speaker 1: He was, and he played a couple of different characters.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Didn't he just Lloyd? Just Lloyd? But when he's a
- 27:55Speaker 1: delivery guy? Is he somebody else? That's all Lloyd. We're
- 27:59Speaker 1: learned that Colonel Doctor is Lloyd's Is Lloyd's dead? Yeah,
- 28:04Speaker 1: you might not have known this, but in the last
- 28:05Speaker 1: episode there's a brief moment that reveals the um While
- 28:09Speaker 1: while JD is duct taped to the ceiling he in
- 28:12Speaker 1: the cafeteria, he discovers that Lloyd's father is Colonel Doctor.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Those riders were on fire. This one has some really
- 28:22Speaker 1: trip it all tracks though. Gloria and and uh the
- 28:28Speaker 1: jan I mean sorry, Gloria and fucking uh. You're going
- 28:33Speaker 1: totally out of order, first of all. But I'm just talking.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I'm talking. Gloria and Leonard, thank you. Gloria and Leonard
- 28:38Speaker 1: the hooked handed security guard are having a baby played
- 28:43Speaker 1: by Randall. Now, Glorias seems to me a little bit
- 28:45Speaker 1: beyond like in her sixties, dude, she's like in her
- 28:48Speaker 1: sixties or seventies. I don't I don't know you can
- 28:50Speaker 1: get pregnant that like, I mean, there must. I'm sure
- 28:53Speaker 1: there's examples. I'm sure anything is possible with what we've
- 28:56Speaker 1: I don't know how old you Gloria is legit, I
- 28:59Speaker 1: don't know, but young enough to be pregnant, all right?
- 29:02Speaker 1: And she would would you say it? When you would
- 29:03Speaker 1: you say? Would you say it's safe? Is it fair
- 29:06Speaker 1: to say that Gloria is a senior citizen? Close to it?
- 29:09Speaker 1: If not? Yes, maybe Leonard had the magic seed. Leonard
- 29:14Speaker 1: clearly had magic seed because it worked on her. So
- 29:17Speaker 1: she's pregnant with Leonard's baby, and she's gonna have it
- 29:21Speaker 1: so hard. And she says, yeah, she says, I'm gonna
- 29:25Speaker 1: have your baby so hard. Now we also learned that,
- 29:32Speaker 1: um Laverne, this this is so trippy. Why is Laverne flying? Yeah,
- 29:38Speaker 1: that was weird that you have you were having double
- 29:41Speaker 1: j D's having double fantasies in this episode where it's
- 29:45Speaker 1: so do you remember that movie American Werewolf in London
- 29:47Speaker 1: where he where he dreams he has a double dream
- 29:51Speaker 1: where he wakes up in one dream and he thinks
- 29:53Speaker 1: it's a nightmare and then the nightmare is still going
- 29:56Speaker 1: and it's a double dream. J D's having doubled fantasies
- 30:00Speaker 1: in this episode. Well, all I know is we do
- 30:03Speaker 1: one of those beauty shots Johnny where you see, oh,
- 30:06Speaker 1: the beautiful girl and she's Michael Weston's characters private dancers,
- 30:11Speaker 1: physical therapist, writer or his therapist, and she appears to
- 30:20Speaker 1: have wings behind her. You know, it's like, oh, like
- 30:22Speaker 1: she's an angel. Right. Then the moment's over and when
- 30:25Speaker 1: she walks out of frame, Laverne is standing there with
- 30:30Speaker 1: a stripper. But wait, wait wait wait wait no, no,
- 30:32Speaker 1: don't she was a burlesque dancer. I believe Laverne. We
- 30:37Speaker 1: reveal that the that the wings, the wings were from
- 30:41Speaker 1: a burlesque dancer, that she left them behind and she
- 30:44Speaker 1: had syphilis. Yes, okay, now you think you're out of
- 30:48Speaker 1: the fantasy, right, but then Laverne starts flapping the wings
- 30:54Speaker 1: and flies away, yes, which is later all back, sorry
- 31:01Speaker 1: to skip ahead when Jad looks out the window and
- 31:07Speaker 1: see and sees that Laverne is still flying, but now outside,
- 31:12Speaker 1: and he j D says to Laverne, kelso just had
- 31:16Speaker 1: his car washed. And she goes and she goes, I'm
- 31:20Speaker 1: on my way, meaning that she's gonna shits car now.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Just because she's holding these wings doesn't mean it's gonna
- 31:29Speaker 1: be bird shit though. That's the thing. Oh my god,
- 31:36Speaker 1: this is the best episode I've ever heard in my life.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I couldn't believe this was a funny episode. This was
- 31:41Speaker 1: a very funny episode. A lot of crazy things happened.
- 31:44Speaker 1: What this is season six? Um, and uh, you know
- 31:49Speaker 1: it's been a little hit or miss, because Donald and
- 31:51Speaker 1: I have so far decided that season five, in this,
- 31:54Speaker 1: in this exercise that we're doing, is the funniest. Um.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I'm we should probably talk about Elliott Keith And okay,
- 32:05Speaker 1: so Elliott, what Daniel, We're gonna take a Brad, We're
- 32:09Speaker 1: gonna take a break. Daniel's Daniels here. We don't have
- 32:11Speaker 1: Joelle to be yet. Joel knows how to usually finesse situations.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Joel will put something in the chat. We got Daniel
- 32:19Speaker 1: over there looking like he's having a seizure. The guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys.
- 32:24Speaker 1: We're gonna take a break, and when we come back,
- 32:26Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about how Elliott and Keith appear to
- 32:29Speaker 1: have sex in a way that's very odd. They mutually
- 32:32Speaker 1: masturbate in separate boxes. We'll be right back, and we're
- 32:42Speaker 1: we're back. I never knew this, but Elliott has invited
- 32:46Speaker 1: Keith to move in with her. Yes, and so there's
- 32:50Speaker 1: moving boxes all over the place. Yes. And Johnny, I
- 32:54Speaker 1: don't know if you remember this, but she gets in
- 32:57Speaker 1: one box and it's it's not spoken, but we assume
- 33:01Speaker 1: is masturbating. And he gets in another box, and we
- 33:04Speaker 1: assume the same. And that's that's how they have what's
- 33:07Speaker 1: called box sex. Huh And and and she asks him
- 33:14Speaker 1: after they both climax, were you thinking about me? And
- 33:19Speaker 1: he goes, I always think about you in the box.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Elliott is the most twisted. Oh my god, she's my
- 33:32Speaker 1: cup of tea other than the Republican ship, She's my
- 33:35Speaker 1: cup of tea. Right, you'd like that, but I don't
- 33:37Speaker 1: think you'd like box sex. You in Casey wouldn't have
- 33:39Speaker 1: box sex. No, I don't like. Well, you know what,
- 33:43Speaker 1: she's still so fucking kinky though, Man's yeah, she's kinky. Yeah.
- 33:47Speaker 1: The things that they do is like, wow, man, that's
- 33:50Speaker 1: kind of that sounds fun. But she's furious. Talk about
- 33:54Speaker 1: can we talk about how good to go Sarah Chalk
- 33:57Speaker 1: was and how agile she is to pivot on the
- 34:00Speaker 1: dime in anything Billy put on her plate? Yeah? Yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 1: she's just phenomenally underrated in my brain. Same with Judy
- 34:10Speaker 1: of course. Imagine getting the script and Sarah's like reading
- 34:13Speaker 1: it and she's like, all right, in this scene, you're, um,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you're gonna have what's called box sex in the writer's
- 34:19Speaker 1: room and you and your partner are going to be
- 34:22Speaker 1: in separate boxes masturbating. Like, how how right I would be? What? Now?
- 34:31Speaker 1: You know what I mean? That's Sarah's skill. Sarah's skills
- 34:34Speaker 1: are so incredible that that's no big deal. That's a shrug.
- 34:38Speaker 1: She can she can pivot right into that, and that's
- 34:41Speaker 1: really hard. Really. Now she's livid. She's livid that Keith
- 34:47Speaker 1: doesn't use coasters. She's livid that Keith won't use coasters,
- 34:51Speaker 1: but also not only do they have box sex and
- 34:53Speaker 1: all of this stuff, they don't sleep in the same
- 34:56Speaker 1: bedroom because she doesn't want to feel like, you know there.
- 35:02Speaker 1: They shouldn't do that before marriage, is what she says,
- 35:05Speaker 1: and then Laverne says something like, you guys can live
- 35:07Speaker 1: in two different states, in two different If you're doing
- 35:12Speaker 1: a nasty you're gonna burn this coasters thing. How do
- 35:20Speaker 1: you we have only men on the show today, Daniel,
- 35:23Speaker 1: your thoughts on coasters? I mean, I don't think that.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I feel like a lot of things have to go
- 35:30Speaker 1: wrong for a cup to really leave a stain on
- 35:34Speaker 1: a piece of wood. You'd be surprised, dude. All it
- 35:36Speaker 1: needs is a little condensation and that's a wrap. There's
- 35:40Speaker 1: there's definitely a there's like a moment where my opinion
- 35:44Speaker 1: on it changed post Larry David in that episode of
- 35:48Speaker 1: Respecting Wood when Julia Louis Dreyfus leaves a cup on
- 35:51Speaker 1: a counter, and before I wouldn't think about it at all,
- 35:54Speaker 1: But now that I own my own furniture, I'm like, yeah, man,
- 35:58Speaker 1: you better put a coaster down under that cup. It's yeah,
- 36:00Speaker 1: if it's cold enough, it's about to sweat onto my table.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I'm not trying to get no rings on that day, Dude,
- 36:05Speaker 1: what if you set no? But dude, you spend a
- 36:07Speaker 1: lot of money on wood too, man Like, Let's think
- 36:09Speaker 1: about it. Let's let's just talk about since COVID and
- 36:12Speaker 1: how much wood is costing. Now you know what I mean,
- 36:14Speaker 1: like wood, especially once you start getting into different levels
- 36:18Speaker 1: of wood. Let's talk about your loft and all the
- 36:20Speaker 1: beautiful wood that you have in your loft. You know
- 36:22Speaker 1: what I mean? That shit is expensive and if somebody
- 36:25Speaker 1: fucking disrespect I agree with that one hundred percent. To
- 36:28Speaker 1: if I spent hundreds of dollars on a table, on
- 36:32Speaker 1: a coffee table, and you come over and disrespect what
- 36:36Speaker 1: I have in my house by putting your cup on
- 36:39Speaker 1: that shit, we got a little bit of beef, dude,
- 36:41Speaker 1: like one hundred man Like, but feel that you're gonna
- 36:45Speaker 1: go and get a coaster? I feel like, is Casey
- 36:47Speaker 1: gonna go get a coaster? No? Man? If if anything,
- 36:51Speaker 1: we're gonna be like, I'm gonna pick it up and
- 36:53Speaker 1: I'm I'll go. I might not get a coaster, but
- 36:55Speaker 1: I'll be like, we got coasters on a table. Matter
- 36:57Speaker 1: of fact. A matter of fact, Casey. When I first
- 37:00Speaker 1: started dating Casey, right and we moved in together, she
- 37:04Speaker 1: was like she had a table and it was a
- 37:07Speaker 1: very beautiful table and had glass on the top of it,
- 37:10Speaker 1: but underneath it was like very nice carved wood. It
- 37:12Speaker 1: was a coffee table. And to make sure that I
- 37:16Speaker 1: use coasters, she brought me Star Wars coasters wow, and
- 37:22Speaker 1: was like, here, you can use this so that when
- 37:25Speaker 1: you need a coaster, you're on glass. Do you No, No, dude,
- 37:30Speaker 1: you don't put that's Johnny. You seem like you seem
- 37:32Speaker 1: like you're a coast serious kind of guy. I am.
- 37:35Speaker 1: But I would like to offer a solution. I just
- 37:38Speaker 1: put books everywhere on expensive woods and you can put
- 37:42Speaker 1: your you can put your thing down on a book
- 37:44Speaker 1: all you want. It's no problem. Yeah, believe it or not.
- 37:48Speaker 1: A book is expensive wood too. Hello. Oh my gosh,
- 37:53Speaker 1: all right, why did mister environment get here? I know, Well,
- 37:59Speaker 1: there's a moment where where um Turk is in bed
- 38:02Speaker 1: and Carla wakes up and he's making noises and the
- 38:06Speaker 1: implication is that he's masturbating. Um, what's wrong with masturbating
- 38:11Speaker 1: with your lady next to you. There's something. No, I
- 38:15Speaker 1: don't but what's wrong with that? Like, I don't understand
- 38:18Speaker 1: what the issue is with that. I don't I think
- 38:21Speaker 1: people I don't know. I I it's to each their own,
- 38:24Speaker 1: but I think I feel like I'm guessing the woman
- 38:28Speaker 1: might be like, are you fucking kidding me? Right now? Well, look,
- 38:32Speaker 1: here's the thing, here's the thing, this is what this
- 38:34Speaker 1: is the way way. You didn't let me finish with
- 38:36Speaker 1: reminding people what happened. You think he's beating off and
- 38:39Speaker 1: then we pull back to reveal that he's under the
- 38:42Speaker 1: covers eating chicken wings, but he's making noises like I
- 38:58Speaker 1: just feel like, oh, okay, if your wife, I mean,
- 39:01Speaker 1: I don't know if this is this is totally I'm
- 39:03Speaker 1: sure you get a zillion answers. If we were able
- 39:05Speaker 1: to pull our audience one day, one day in the future,
- 39:08Speaker 1: will be able to pull her right, Well, we're not
- 39:10Speaker 1: doing that. When we do the live show, we can
- 39:11Speaker 1: pull her anyway. Long story short, I don't know how women,
- 39:16Speaker 1: uh or men or I guess it's either sex or
- 39:21Speaker 1: either sex giving it up and the other person says
- 39:24Speaker 1: I want it and you're like, nah, I'm going to bed.
- 39:26Speaker 1: You can't be upset if that person masturbates next to you,
- 39:29Speaker 1: is my point. See, that's a I bet that's a
- 39:31Speaker 1: big debate amongst couples. Also, what happens if they did
- 39:34Speaker 1: give it up? Um? And and but you're still horny
- 39:38Speaker 1: like you are, like Donald, someone who can go like
- 39:40Speaker 1: nine times that day. Um, is she gonna be offended? Yeah? Yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 1: it's true, John Johnny, Yeah, it's true. Your prowess is
- 39:55Speaker 1: a hall of fame. It's not gone down at all.
- 39:58Speaker 1: It's not gone down at all since he since he
- 40:01Speaker 1: just since he turned since since puberty. Listen, I am
- 40:05Speaker 1: starting to think maybe it's a it's more of a
- 40:10Speaker 1: issue than it is a fun little fact about Donald.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Like you're debating whether or not it's an asset or
- 40:21Speaker 1: a liability. Yes, well we know it's a bit of
- 40:24Speaker 1: a liability because it's a source of arguments with his wife.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Who who's had who Sometimes is like, you've got to
- 40:30Speaker 1: be fucking kidding me. We've had sex, leave me alone. Yeah,
- 40:35Speaker 1: Like I remember the other day my wife, my wife
- 40:38Speaker 1: and I we had sex, and like about twenty minutes later,
- 40:43Speaker 1: I was like, don't you feel like you want to
- 40:44Speaker 1: just do it again, And she was like, no, I don't, Casey,
- 40:54Speaker 1: come down here. I'm just kidding, all right, let's keep going.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Um you sing, my name is Luca the second door.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I live upstairs from you. I think I have seen
- 41:10Speaker 1: you before. Yeah. If you hear something late and nine,
- 41:17Speaker 1: some kind of troublesome kind of fine, just don't ask
- 41:24Speaker 1: me what it was. Just don't ask me what it was.
- 41:31Speaker 1: I used to love that song. My name is Luca.
- 41:33Speaker 1: It's a very sad song. Actually it's about child abuse,
- 41:36Speaker 1: but it is pretty Who sang? Who invented that song? Daniel?
- 41:42Speaker 1: Who sang that's a good look up? Come on, Joel
- 41:44Speaker 1: would have been on this, Daniel. Oh what is a
- 41:47Speaker 1: song called Luca? My name is Luca by whom we're
- 41:51Speaker 1: trying to find out by Okay, that's right, come on down.
- 41:56Speaker 1: I'm usually doing the other part. Suzanne Vega, Oh, yes, yes,
- 42:00Speaker 1: that bad um anyway, So, Johnny, your storyline in this
- 42:05Speaker 1: if UM is that Donald broke his hand with the
- 42:08Speaker 1: fan accident, and Kelso says, well, if you're not gonna
- 42:12Speaker 1: be since you can't do surgery because he had a
- 42:14Speaker 1: cast in your arm I'm gonna put you down with
- 42:16Speaker 1: a Cox, and I'm gonna make you a resident and
- 42:19Speaker 1: maybe you can. You're not just gonna be a scalpel jockey.
- 42:24Speaker 1: You're gonna actually have to learn some of the medicine
- 42:26Speaker 1: like dot, like the doctors do when they're on rounds
- 42:29Speaker 1: with Cox. And he comes down there and he puts
- 42:34Speaker 1: on a pair of glasses because he's gonna He thinks
- 42:37Speaker 1: that it's that doctor. The medical doctors are nerdy, and
- 42:42Speaker 1: so he tries to fuck with everyone by wearing a
- 42:44Speaker 1: pair of Clark Kent looking glasses. And you instantly started
- 42:50Speaker 1: quizzing him as you do the residence on on on
- 42:54Speaker 1: medical questions, and he knows nothing. The reason he starts,
- 42:59Speaker 1: the reason he begins to sing my Name is Luca,
- 43:01Speaker 1: is that you ask for um. I forget what it is,
- 43:04Speaker 1: but you say, what are some common common ways to
- 43:07Speaker 1: treat Lucas? And then he finds his way into singing
- 43:11Speaker 1: my name is Luca. Do you remember the movie Luca No?
- 43:17Speaker 1: I remember the movie Lucas No No? I loved Lucas.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Good movie. Johnny who was in Lucas No Luca was
- 43:25Speaker 1: Charlie she Yeah, Charlie Sheen is Charlie Sheen was in Lucas. Yeah,
- 43:28Speaker 1: and and that right, but they call him Luca short
- 43:31Speaker 1: for Luca Plakia in the in the in that movie,
- 43:34Speaker 1: Corey Hay, if I'm correct, right, Charlie Sheen, I'm pulling
- 43:37Speaker 1: it up right now because Daniel's not going to do
- 43:39Speaker 1: it right. Um, it was really good, yeah, Corey Hayne
- 43:44Speaker 1: plays Lucas and Carry Green. I had such a on
- 43:47Speaker 1: her goodies baby, I mean carry This is eighty six.
- 43:52Speaker 1: This is when I, you know, I had reached the
- 43:54Speaker 1: age where it was like, oh, these are new feelings. Yeah,
- 43:58Speaker 1: and Carry Greens in it. Yeah. Vernona Ryder plays his
- 44:05Speaker 1: best friend. It's a good movie. Corey Ham, Corey Haim
- 44:12Speaker 1: who directed it, Zakie okay, checking Johnny, David Seltzer, David Seltzer.
- 44:18Speaker 1: David Seltzer got it. He wrote it as well. Wow, okay,
- 44:22Speaker 1: So you guys should check that movie out if you
- 44:23Speaker 1: haven't seen it. It's an eighty six classic. All right,
- 44:26Speaker 1: Moving on here. Another funny bit that happens during the
- 44:29Speaker 1: show is because Donald has become a medical intern under
- 44:32Speaker 1: the tutelage of doctor Cox, he starts taking over the
- 44:36Speaker 1: vide turn of the head and the and the theme
- 44:40Speaker 1: starts and he goes and that's when I realized that
- 44:42Speaker 1: maybe doctor and I come over and like, what are
- 44:44Speaker 1: you doing? That's my thing? Yeah, yeah, but you hear
- 44:48Speaker 1: that because then Jad says to him. Jad says, yeah,
- 44:54Speaker 1: you don't like you. You think it's nothing now that
- 44:59Speaker 1: you don't know the answer, But pretty soon you're gonna
- 45:03Speaker 1: want his like attention or you're gonna crave approval approval. Right,
- 45:09Speaker 1: You're gonna crave his approval and you'll be and and
- 45:13Speaker 1: then right away Turk goes into looking off and it
- 45:17Speaker 1: goes you know, JD was JB. I don't know what
- 45:19Speaker 1: JD was talking about. But at the end of the
- 45:21Speaker 1: day and you and you immediately jump back in and Johnny,
- 45:26Speaker 1: you're Cox is fucking with him the whole time, trying
- 45:29Speaker 1: to prove that he doesn't know anything. Now, there's a
- 45:33Speaker 1: very one of the most bizarre subplots, the Janitor's subplot.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I guess you would call the C story, yeah, or
- 45:40Speaker 1: I don't know if you'd call it the D story.
- 45:43Speaker 1: But for no reason, it's really really weird. But um,
- 45:47Speaker 1: the janitor decides to grow um chops yes, and and
- 45:55Speaker 1: it looks really bad. It looks like I say, it
- 45:57Speaker 1: looks like tiny hamsters died all over your face. And
- 46:01Speaker 1: he says, you say that now, but wait for a
- 46:03Speaker 1: week from now and look amazing, and no, two weeks
- 46:08Speaker 1: from now. Then it cuts to two weeks. Yeah, and
- 46:10Speaker 1: not only the Bizarrely, this is never addressed at first,
- 46:15Speaker 1: but Snoop Dogg Resident is there, and he also hasn't
- 46:19Speaker 1: has now has mutton chops chops? Yes, yes, well he's conveyed.
- 46:23Speaker 1: He well, he tells you that it's gonna catch on
- 46:25Speaker 1: and everybody's gonna go that's okay, so that's why. Okay,
- 46:29Speaker 1: so the janitors starts a trend saying, oh, you're making
- 46:32Speaker 1: fun of you. Watch this is gonna catch on and
- 46:34Speaker 1: everyone's gonna grow mutton chops. Well, Snoop Dogg Resident is
- 46:39Speaker 1: the first, is the first to catch on, and he's
- 46:45Speaker 1: rocking some serious um. He got some mutton chops. Mutton chops, okay,
- 46:52Speaker 1: and it turns out that but then it turns out
- 46:54Speaker 1: that the janitors was faking the mutton chops and they
- 46:58Speaker 1: weren't real, and he takes them off and that jumping ahead.
- 47:02Speaker 1: But okay, fine, yeah, but that's what we're supposed to
- 47:04Speaker 1: do with Joela here, everything's fallen apart, but um, I
- 47:09Speaker 1: miss you Joel. Listen. What happens is Keith Elliott pretty
- 47:16Speaker 1: much says to Keith, look, this is my house. You
- 47:18Speaker 1: just have your room, and Keith to get back at
- 47:23Speaker 1: Elliott um decides to yes, just to throw a party
- 47:29Speaker 1: um that Elliot's not invited to in his room. And
- 47:36Speaker 1: and at the party, the janitor is sort of holding
- 47:39Speaker 1: court with all of the mutton chop pop. Everyone at
- 47:43Speaker 1: the party has munton chops. Yes, it makes no sense
- 47:48Speaker 1: at all. It's a mutton chop party. And that's when
- 47:52Speaker 1: he reveals that his chops were fake. And then but
- 47:55Speaker 1: the janitor then pulls off his mutton chops to reveal
- 47:58Speaker 1: that his were fake, and just to make to prove
- 48:02Speaker 1: to everyone that that they're just followers and he could
- 48:06Speaker 1: make them do anything. But but I understand the point
- 48:10Speaker 1: of any of that. Yeah, this is my this is
- 48:14Speaker 1: my favorite episode I've ever heard in my life. You know,
- 48:17Speaker 1: you know what I'm really liking. There's a new podcast,
- 48:19Speaker 1: guys audience. It's called uh, it's called It's called Donald
- 48:23Speaker 1: and Zach explain an episode of scrubs to Johnny Seem again, clime,
- 48:30Speaker 1: it's fantastic. Well, this one's a hard one to follow
- 48:33Speaker 1: if you haven't seen it recently, because I mean, you
- 48:36Speaker 1: got you got Nurse Roberts pooing from the sky on
- 48:40Speaker 1: his car with with burlesque with burlesque wings that might
- 48:44Speaker 1: have that might have syphilis on them, that might have
- 48:47Speaker 1: that might have contracted Nurse Roberts might have contracted syphilis
- 48:52Speaker 1: from the wings from flying, from flying to go pooh
- 48:56Speaker 1: on Kelso's car. So I was gonna say this. Kelso
- 48:59Speaker 1: goes on vacation with his son. Yes, Kelsel comes back
- 49:03Speaker 1: from the Bahamas on a trip from his son, and
- 49:07Speaker 1: he has had his hair braided. Um but um, he complains,
- 49:12Speaker 1: he uses a term we don't use anymore. But it
- 49:15Speaker 1: turns out that some of Harrison's transgender friends thought it
- 49:19Speaker 1: would be funny to braid his hair. And he's also
- 49:24Speaker 1: in cornrows. And is that a wig? Or did they
- 49:28Speaker 1: really corn row Kelso's hair? I don't know, it's got
- 49:31Speaker 1: to be a wig. I don't know if they I
- 49:32Speaker 1: don't think if, I don't think. King came in it
- 49:35Speaker 1: was like, yeah, all right, just corn roll it out. Iverson.
- 49:38Speaker 1: I want the iverson. That takes a lot of time. Yeah. Um, anyway,
- 49:43Speaker 1: it must have been a wig, but it was a
- 49:44Speaker 1: funny wig. Whoever did it? And he's also sunburned because
- 49:47Speaker 1: he did oh sorry the the it was done to
- 49:50Speaker 1: him while he was asleep in the sun. Yes, so
- 49:52Speaker 1: he's sunburned and he has corn roths. Now, this was
- 49:58Speaker 1: something that I learned at the end of the the
- 50:00Speaker 1: episode that kind of I didn't think about this before,
- 50:07Speaker 1: but this makes it so much and I now I
- 50:10Speaker 1: get why JD's having such a hard time asking people
- 50:14Speaker 1: out and jumping back into the relationship world. It's not
- 50:17Speaker 1: necessarily because him and Kim didn't work, and he's kind
- 50:21Speaker 1: of feels vulnerable and everything like that. But what if
- 50:24Speaker 1: it does get to the level where JD has sex again,
- 50:28Speaker 1: he could actually pass out from having sex. And that's
- 50:31Speaker 1: what he's afraid of. He says it in his speech.
- 50:34Speaker 1: Not only can he pass out from pooing, but there's
- 50:36Speaker 1: a strong possibility that he could pass out from having sex.
- 50:42Speaker 1: His attempt at hitting on that that that woman is
- 50:45Speaker 1: so funny. I wanted to write it down, but it
- 50:48Speaker 1: was too long. But he's like, goes into this long
- 50:51Speaker 1: tirade about how he's trying to ask this beautiful woman out,
- 50:54Speaker 1: and he goes, look, I live in a tent. I
- 50:57Speaker 1: occasionally pass out from pooping. I recently got my ex
- 51:03Speaker 1: girlfriend pregnant and we never even had sex. Um I listened,
- 51:07Speaker 1: he lists how shitty his life is. But then he's like,
- 51:10Speaker 1: would you be willing to go on? She's like no,
- 51:15Speaker 1: and he goes, just no, and she's like no, no,
- 51:18Speaker 1: no explanation, just no. And she's like yeah, no, no, yeah,
- 51:23Speaker 1: just no. UM, but you're gonna love it, and then
- 51:29Speaker 1: the song. The show ends with a great song by
- 51:31Speaker 1: Travis called Turn, which I've always loved and UM and
- 51:36Speaker 1: the highlight. The actual the win of the episode is
- 51:40Speaker 1: um that private Dancer is able to has been UM
- 51:44Speaker 1: struggling to sign his name, and his counselor and the
- 51:46Speaker 1: woman I unsuccessfully hit hit on UM is successful in
- 51:51Speaker 1: getting him to UH to write his name again after
- 51:54Speaker 1: his brain trauma. And that's kind of the big win
- 51:57Speaker 1: that happens in the episode. I Johnny in the previous
- 52:01Speaker 1: episode got a scooter scootering a while under the influence
- 52:06Speaker 1: because I was pushing my scooter and I was intoxicated.
- 52:10Speaker 1: And so my scooter has had a breathalyzer attached to it.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I'm finally allowed to drive it again, but I have
- 52:17Speaker 1: to blow into the breathalyzer. Like I think they had
- 52:20Speaker 1: this actually for cars, right, this happened they definitely Okay,
- 52:24Speaker 1: so it's a thing that happens if you get a
- 52:26Speaker 1: duy that they put on cars. I don't think they
- 52:28Speaker 1: actually put it on scooters, but anyway, I could be wrong.
- 52:33Speaker 1: But anyway, he's about to finally drive off on his
- 52:35Speaker 1: scooter again for the first time, and he explains this
- 52:39Speaker 1: to the janitor, and the janitor is about to start
- 52:41Speaker 1: his shift, and the janitor grabs the tube and blows
- 52:45Speaker 1: into it, and then the and the engine won't start,
- 52:48Speaker 1: and the and the janitor is like, I gotta come.
- 52:50Speaker 1: My ship's about to start. A janitor goes through a drunk.
- 52:54Speaker 1: That's what we learned. Well, we know the janitor is
- 52:56Speaker 1: a drinker, but we didn't know he was always drunk.
- 53:00Speaker 1: All right, That's the episode is very funny. Um, Johnny,
- 53:03Speaker 1: do you want to stay for the caller? We have? Um,
- 53:05Speaker 1: we have a caller that it's I think right up
- 53:07Speaker 1: your ally. You're going to really enjoy them, all right,
- 53:10Speaker 1: we'll be right back with the caller. You're not gonna
- 53:13Speaker 1: want to miss We'll be right back. And we're bad
- 53:21Speaker 1: and we're bad. So Johnny, just give you a little background.
- 53:25Speaker 1: This couple. They use as soon at him, Johnny, because
- 53:28Speaker 1: this is the third time on the show. Uh, and
- 53:30Speaker 1: no longer has anything to do with scrubs. We're just
- 53:32Speaker 1: so interested in them. They have an arrangement where she
- 53:36Speaker 1: is every so often allowed to bang his best friend
- 53:41Speaker 1: whatever she wants to. Well, I think, I think if
- 53:43Speaker 1: I we'll check with her, but I think it's um.
- 53:45Speaker 1: She goes over to his house and they and the
- 53:49Speaker 1: husband is okay with it, and and they bang and
- 53:53Speaker 1: um and and he has yet. We said, are you
- 53:56Speaker 1: allowed the same luxury? And he said said yes, He
- 54:00Speaker 1: said yes, But I haven't found um, you know, the
- 54:03Speaker 1: woman or one of her friends that I really would
- 54:05Speaker 1: like to to to do it with. We're hoping right
- 54:10Speaker 1: now that he has found someone. So we always hope.
- 54:12Speaker 1: We always check in with them every so often to
- 54:14Speaker 1: see if he's had his chance to have his yin yang.
- 54:18Speaker 1: I don't know if that's the right way, you know,
- 54:22Speaker 1: what do you know? And how this has impacted me.
- 54:25Speaker 1: How you rock hard? Right now? Yeah, Johnny can't wait.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I pulled over. Someone texted me. Joel texted me. By
- 54:38Speaker 1: the way, we got the couple again. Do you think
- 54:39Speaker 1: Johnny C will be okay talking to them? I said,
- 54:43Speaker 1: are you kidding me? This will make Johnny's's day. I
- 54:47Speaker 1: pulled the truck over on the side of the road.
- 54:49Speaker 1: All right, good, all right, carefully, all right, here we go.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Bring him in, Daniel, you know, maybe talking about the episode.
- 55:06Speaker 1: So come on, let's get the show. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 55:12Speaker 1: give it up for a shine. Chell, everybody, Michelle, welcome
- 55:20Speaker 1: back to the program. I want to introduce you to
- 55:22Speaker 1: the legendary Johnny C McGinley, who plays doctor Cox on
- 55:26Speaker 1: the show. Hello, I'm Michelle. I pulled over to be
- 55:30Speaker 1: able to meet you and experience you. I am flattered.
- 55:34Speaker 1: We told Johnny about your your your your situation and
- 55:38Speaker 1: how it's unique and Donald and I find it fascinating.
- 55:42Speaker 1: And uh, and he was so struck by by the
- 55:45Speaker 1: scenario that he pulled over his car because he wanted
- 55:48Speaker 1: to be He wanted to be able to safely focus
- 55:49Speaker 1: on the story. But uh, and Michelle, I hope you
- 55:53Speaker 1: never and Michelle is your pseudonym by the way, just
- 55:55Speaker 1: for the audience to know, we we hope you never
- 55:58Speaker 1: think for any possible way we are laughing at you
- 56:02Speaker 1: or anything. We're just so fascinated by this, this unique anecdote,
- 56:06Speaker 1: and we we are big um what's the word preachers
- 56:12Speaker 1: of Whatever anyone's sexual identity is or whatever their situation
- 56:16Speaker 1: is and it works for them, is magnificent as long
- 56:20Speaker 1: as it's consensual and uh, and no one's being harmed.
- 56:24Speaker 1: So I didn't want you to think that we always
- 56:26Speaker 1: have you back on. We're just so curious because as men,
- 56:29Speaker 1: we don't even have Joel today. As men, we've I
- 56:32Speaker 1: think it's safe to say I can't speak for Johnny yet,
- 56:36Speaker 1: but Donald, Daniel and I would have such a problem
- 56:39Speaker 1: with this arrangement. So we're just so fascinated. We're here
- 56:42Speaker 1: to check in. How's it going? Is your husband still
- 56:45Speaker 1: okay with this all? Has are you guys still married?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Has he stepped away from the situation? Has he has
- 56:51Speaker 1: he had his chance to be with another woman? Well,
- 56:54Speaker 1: we want want to follow up or another man or person.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I am afraid I'm going to be a very boring podcast.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Guest because nothing has changed. Um, we're still married. He's
- 57:07Speaker 1: actually picking up our kids from school right now. That's
- 57:10Speaker 1: usually my job, but he took over today so I
- 57:12Speaker 1: could talk with you guys. Um, he has not done anything.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I don't know that he ever will. I don't know
- 57:18Speaker 1: that that is something that does that frustrate you. Does
- 57:21Speaker 1: that frustrate you? Okay? Cool? No, he so he has
- 57:24Speaker 1: his own things that I'm not going to go into.
- 57:28Speaker 1: That's his thing if he ever wants to join and
- 57:30Speaker 1: talk to you guys. But you know, this is something
- 57:33Speaker 1: that I wanted. It doesn't have to be something that
- 57:36Speaker 1: he wants, but he's something that Oh, I say. So
- 57:38Speaker 1: what you're saying and something I think that's new to
- 57:40Speaker 1: us is you're saying without without saying anything private about
- 57:44Speaker 1: him that you guys might have an arrangement that says, Hey,
- 57:47Speaker 1: you you like to do X, Y and Z in
- 57:50Speaker 1: exchange for that, I'm going to be with your friend
- 57:54Speaker 1: every so often. It's not even an exchange thing. Um,
- 58:00Speaker 1: it's he His thing started long before minded and he
- 58:05Speaker 1: him coming to me with his and being open about
- 58:08Speaker 1: it gave me the space of the room to come
- 58:10Speaker 1: to him and say, hey, I'm having these feelings. I'm
- 58:13Speaker 1: kind of interested in doing this. I don't think I
- 58:15Speaker 1: ever could have done that if he hadn't started and
- 58:17Speaker 1: been open with me about things. So he introduced you
- 58:22Speaker 1: to the life, then that's what you're thin You know,
- 58:25Speaker 1: we don't know, we don't know what his thing is,
- 58:27Speaker 1: and we're respecting his privacy. But I'm saying I think
- 58:30Speaker 1: what's so interesting to us is that it well to
- 58:33Speaker 1: me personally, I'm not speaking for these other gentlemen, is
- 58:36Speaker 1: that it's just so fascinating. That's it's a very good
- 58:38Speaker 1: friend of yours and Johnny the friend comes over and
- 58:42Speaker 1: hangs out with the kids and uh, they all they
- 58:44Speaker 1: all watched TV together. Um, it's just I just feel
- 58:49Speaker 1: so I don't know, unbelievable. Okay, So here's the question.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Has it Trent? Has it turned into anything else between
- 58:58Speaker 1: you and the friend like before it was you and
- 59:04Speaker 1: your husband is very secure with your relationship. Is it
- 59:08Speaker 1: still the same type of Is it still the same
- 59:11Speaker 1: type of thing? No feelings Like Look, if I'm not
- 59:14Speaker 1: if I have sex with someone enough, I might eventually
- 59:18Speaker 1: be like a man. I have emotional feelings to emotional attachment. Also, yeah,
- 59:25Speaker 1: are you worried about catching a moment? Are you worried?
- 59:27Speaker 1: Are you worried about catching feelings with with the friend?
- 59:30Speaker 1: So I when you love as a spectrum, like I
- 59:34Speaker 1: love my husband's all the way over here. I do
- 59:36Speaker 1: love this friend, but it's not a love that I'm
- 59:38Speaker 1: going to run away from my husband and my family
- 59:41Speaker 1: and go and live with him. I love him, I
- 59:44Speaker 1: care for him in a way. It's different than my husband,
- 59:48Speaker 1: but there's there are feelings there and that's okay. Yeah,
- 59:53Speaker 1: yeah it is. And um, do you do you ever? Um?
- 59:56Speaker 1: Is it a set schedule? Or do you or do
- 59:59Speaker 1: you are you allowed? Tom? What if you're like, is
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: it like, hey, every so every other Thursday, I'm making
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: this up? I go or or or are you allowed
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: to go? Whenever you want? Um, it's been a schedule,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: So every other it's Wednesday. But every other Wednesday, I'll,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: you know, we just plan, you know, I mean, I
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: have dinner done and I go over there a little
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: bit later. After dinner. My husband you know, puts the
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: kids to bed, does whatever he wants, and it's just
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: kind of part of our routine and sometimes it has
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: to change because of scheduling things and I am more
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: than happy to change if, like my husband has plans
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: or wants to do something, but we just kind of
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: usually keep it on the same same day every couple
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: of weeks. And do you stay over there or do
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: you come back home? Come back home? Yeah, I come
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: back to home. I mean I stay relatively late. We
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: usually watch a couple of movies and just like talk
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: for a while. So yeah, but I'm always in bed
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: at my home. Are you open to vacation? Yeah? What
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: if what if the friend is like, hey, a oh,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I have another question. How the friend obviously is sexually
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: attracted to you. It goes without saying, um, what if
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: he starts he must have feelings for you? What about
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: his dating life? Does he do you do? Do you
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: ever think that this relationship with you might be keeping
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: him from branching out and and finding someone else because
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: he he only gets you, you know, two Wednesdays a month.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: M Yeah, And that is something that I ask him frequently. Um,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: he is, He's tried the dating apps. I've asked him,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: like he just does not care for that type of interaction. Um. Yeah,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I mean I've told him many times. If this is
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: holding you back in any way then, you know, just
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: say the word and we'll cut back in whatever way.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: You know. Um, he's still going to be our friends,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: so there will be no hard feelings. I probably am
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: annoying about asking him, Yeah, but yeah, give him questions
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: for Michelle. Well, I the only thing I can own
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: is a fatal flow of mine. I have horrible jealousy issues. Yeah,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: and so that's why this is or I did I got.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I'm kind of managed all that, but I mean, I
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: had the horrible, horrible jealousy issues, which is all inadequacy
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: and insecurity, and I've worked through it. But I this
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: is so emilian to me, just because I feel so um,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I've dealt with so much jealousy, which is all self
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: generated and I know the whole catalog. But now, well, Johnny,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: you're talking about you, I think, I mean it's safe
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: to say you're talking about um feeling jealous in an
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: in a in a in a situation that isn't This
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: is like double black diamond um marriage dating. I mean, yeah,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you're talking about that. You're talking about green circle shit.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I find this just completely and utterly fascinating. Yeah, me
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: and Donald too, because because we would we would be
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: jealous too, That's why we always found it interesting. Um.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I get jealous when I see Donald's hanging out with
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: other other men. Um. Sometimes you know, but I don't
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: flaunt it in your face. Man. Sometimes you'll post something
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: with Seth Green. I don't like that. Zach. Would you
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: like me to talk about the people that you have
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: been flaunting your little I only sent you one for
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Morgan Freeman. I could have sent you many Morgan and
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Ian Freeman, Jay Z not jay Z, doesn't matter what
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: we'll call it. What's his name? Fucking the little redhead dude?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: What's his name? Ed? Sharon the little redhead d We
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: all share. We all share the fatal flaw of jealousy. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I mean I give all the pops in the world
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to my husband because I mean, and it's not do
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: you think you'd be able to do I'm sorry to
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: cut you up, but do you think you'd be able
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: to hold your jealousy in in that situation? Like? It's
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: easy to say, but do you honestly feel like? Yeah,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I know it is easy to say, and people can
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: judge all I want and say, Well, I think it'd
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: be different if he did. Um, I've thought through it
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: a ton, and yeah, I would probably ask more questions.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: He's sure, Like I just think like I couldn't. I
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: could not handle it. It's just it's so I mean,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: but but but but but I just think it's so.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: What I think is so cool is that you two
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: found something that works. It clearly isn't hurting your relationship
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: at all. Things seem to be great. Um, he seems content,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: You seem doubly content. Um, it's it's works, which is
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: kind of which is so inspiring. I mean, there's so
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: many incarnations of what a relationship could be. Of course,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: if people could could handle it. I just um, I couldn't.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I couldn't. I you know, I wonder you know, and
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I'm sure there are people out there that are like that,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: but part of it has and I'm not speaking for
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: your husband and I'm not speaking for you, but I'm
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: sure there are people out there that listen to this
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: podcast and get turned on by this and find this,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: you know, find this uh in in some way something
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: that maybe they want to do in their relationship or
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: any type of are there any type of h like,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: what's the best advice to get into? Yeah, well, well
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: that's a good, good, good, good good hosting Donald. If
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: there's someone listening who finds the Michelle scenario that she
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: has with her husband fascinating, Michelle, do you have any
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: advice on how to broach you with your partner? Because there, Muscle,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I'm sure there's people listening who are like, I'm go
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: on preach, I'm intrigued. So, I mean, every relationship is different.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Communication is the key. Like we talked about it a
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: ton before anything happened. Um, he did need reassurances, which
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I understand that, like, this wasn't going to evolve into
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: something that is going to leave him high and dry. Um.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: We still talk about it, not like every week or anything,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: but just a month and a half or so ago
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: we sat down and he's like, I'm kind of in
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: my head about it, and so we talked through it.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: And every time we have one of those talks, like
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: our connection gets deeper. Like we have conversations that I
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: can guarantee you a lot of relationships don't have because
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: of this situation. Yeah, well, you clearly have amazing communication.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: And Um, and that's the key to any sort of relationship.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Is the successful ones seem to be all about open communication. Well,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I want to thank you for coming back on you.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Just do you have any questions for us or anything?
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: She's like, stop calling me, rights right, We're there. We're
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: the boyfriend that's always like, hey, big head, what you're doing?
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: You up? You up? Always happy to chat with you guys.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Since uh John c McGinley is on here, I had
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: a question for him. So you frequently called JD a
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: girl's name in the show. I need a girl's name
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: to call my husband when I when I need to,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: uh just knock him down. No, holy shit, it just
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: got interesting people. I suggest I'm feeling a strong Susan vibe. Susan.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Susan's always good. Susan's always good. Someone should do a
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: graph of bar graph of of all the different names
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: and and how many uh I was called, and how
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: many times each one was used. I feel like Gloria
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: has used a lot Gloria Susan, not a lot of Karen. Now,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Karen's taken on a whole other thing. I'm worried about
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Gloria having a pregnant pregnancy. So old magic seed, the
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: magic seed will do you know, Oh my gosh. All right, anyway, Michelle,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: thank you so much for coming on. We appreciate you
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and uh, and we promise we'll stop bothering you. We
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: just um, we just we're just we're just we're just
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: a bunch of um of curious men who find this
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: story unique. And uh and thank you for entertaining us. Yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: thanks for having me. Guys, all right, bye, thank you
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: for being hard to take care yeo, dude, I just
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I just uh, she seems to always be down to
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: chat about it. I just find it so you like
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: I I the fact that it's his best friend is
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: I think maybe what maybe what makes it extra bizarre.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I know, but she's so grounded and real and there's
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: no no affectation of any kind. She said every time
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: they communicate their relationship kids deeper. The most incredible thing
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I've ever heard. Yeah, it's just so unique to me
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: because I know about open relationships. I'm not an idiot.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: But the fact that like this is his best friend,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Like he comes over for movie night and they all
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: watched movies with the kids, Like that's just one step.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: I My brain can handle that certain couples have open relationships.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: The idea that it's his best friend, my brain can't handle. Yeah,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: it would suck. I mean, I'm not gonna say and
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: I take that back. It would be really uh different
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: if you came over and hung out with me, Casey
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: and the kids, and then on Wednesday, Casey was like,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna pack up. I'm like, where are you going?
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: And She's like, I'm gonna head over to the Zax.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: It's Wednesday. You know, I fuck Zach on Wednesday. You know,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: you know we fuck on Wednesday. You have to put
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: the kids down. Susan called me Susan, and they calls
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: me anyway. That's our show, Johnny, We Love You. We
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: know what the new the new podcast is. We explain
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: episodes to Johnny. That's hilarious. That's hilarious. You're gonna that.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: We explained TV episodes to John c McGinley, Zach Bravin,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: down Payson explain old episodes of Scrubs Johnny hasn't seen
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: to Johnny while he drives. Johnny, We Love You. It
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: was great to It was great to watch the audience
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: didn't get the pleasure of watching Johnny's face uh during
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: all of that, um it was. It was wonderful to
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: see as he took it all in. I can I
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: love listening to you guys. Uh story tell me while
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I was driving, but I damn sure I had to
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: pull over for Michelle. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, And I'm
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: glad I did too. Yeah you are, Yeah you are,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: because you're gonna think about this for a while too, Dude.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: I thought of about this for so long. I was
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: like whoa, how, like just why why does that resonate
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: for us? So, I mean, it's the best friend part, dude,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: it's the best friend part. It's it's not the it's
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: not the open relationship makes plenty people have that. It's
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: the best friend hanging out with them part. Yeah. I
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: think you're right. I think that's right. That's where it gets.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: That's where it gets like, oh shit, this dude even
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: comes over and hangs out with the both of them,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: although she implied this time for the first time, without
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: going into any detail, that he has his own thing
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: that that she's okay with. We have no idea, of course,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: what that is. So so so I think there may
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: be more mutualness to this than than imagine. Imagine. It's like, well,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: he plays d and Daldy, he follows, he beats off
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: to Daniel's twitch. When you just when you just personalized
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: it and made it you Donald and Zach. I couldn't
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: even handle that. I couldn't. I can't handle it. I'm
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: too I don't know. I don't I don't have the tools.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I'm dying. All this thing is. It's definitely watching Daniel's twitch.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: She's like, she's like, if you're gonna watch that fucking shit,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: I get. He's like, but I love Daniel's twitch and
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: she's like, well, bro, well I love fucking Dave. Oh boy,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: all right, that's a show. We love you guys very much. Johnny,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I love you. I love you. It's good to see you, brother, Donald.
