- Dave Connett: Okay, something's happened. There you go. Okay, so the kids would get sick and so we would be like, you know what, we're praying, we're declaring and there'd be times we're just like, we're going to church. Why? Because if the enemy could get us off track by simple things like, yo, your kid's sick. Well, we're not going to let the enemy, sickness is not from heaven. It's from the pit of darkness. And so what we want to do is we understand and go, we're coming now. Jack O'Brien: Yeah, the kids would get sick. Yeah. Dave Connett: as pastors, we had options for a couple of, of a couple of offices, we could set up with a little bed, that kind of stuff, the kids sick, we would do it. But we just realised there was this repetitive pattern. And we just went, we're just gonna stand. So we're praying, we're declaring, so we will be covering prayer and declaration and fasting within this that using the name of Jesus, not but one of the things is to just go, we are gonna stand. And so if you if you See very naturally, these things will happen around you. You've got to stand strong. will just, they'll sneak away the round. But the person that's on that chandelier swinging all on the other end, oftentimes you've just got to put your boots on the ground and your communication about stuff needs to be in terms that people can understand. So what we want to do is we want to bring the reality of the spiritual battle. There is the angelic there is the demonic there is a devil comes to rob kill and destroy you need to stand firm You need to pray you need to bind you need to loose but ⁓ But not everything needs to be put in spiritual terms I need to put my boots on the ground and I need to be able to have a common conversation with people not everything's uber spiritual not everything is a conspiracy theory ⁓ And so I've got to actually want to reach people that need to know Jesus and I've got to be able to actually have a conversation that helps them get there. Jack O'Brien: I think something else that comes to mind is, ⁓ we want to know our enemy, want to define our enemy and know him accurately, right? It's really easy. And the same is true of our God. It's really easy to paint Christ in the way we want him to be. And the same is true of our enemy or of the demonic, right? You can read this book or that book or make up this theory or that doctrine. we must need, we must know them accurately so that we can wage war effectively. And Bex, I know, you know, you touched on Ahab and Jezebel and the spirits behind that. Do you to perhaps walk us through, yeah, maybe what didn't make it, what, what landed up on the cutting room floor on, that side of things. Dave Connett: Right. Rebeccca: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And before I do, I just want to bring a little bit of clarity to what you were just saying, because I agree with you, it's really helpful to actually know our enemy. ⁓ And that's, you know, what I'll talk about in a second. But one of the ⁓ dangers, if you look back to the early church with Gnosticism, one of the things that we talk about is the, well, Jesus actually calls it the so-called secrets of Satan in Revelation. they went so far down the rabbit hole of knowing their enemy that they actually became, ⁓ they had to know out the enemy experientially and intimately, you know? And there was was a, like not just a, want to know this, I want to understand this so I can find it. it was, yeah, there was a, there was a drawing towards it, right? Jack O'Brien: It's not just defining. Rebeccca: ⁓ And so I think you can be too obsessed with the demonic, but that becomes your obsession and you're living in their world ⁓ and justifying it. And I think people get so caught up in that they forget that actually God is God and he has defeated the enemy. And it's helpful to understand our enemy. It's helpful to know, because then you have eyes to see and you can see through the deception. ⁓ But we just have to remember that God is still on the throne. God is our God. ⁓ Jack O'Brien: Right. And we want to know, we want to be able to define accurately too, right? And not just kind of make it up and, this vaccine's got the devil in it. You know, it's, so easy to don't answer that Dave, but you know, it's so easy to go down different rabbit holes, right? Rebeccca: But yeah. Yeah, yeah, absolutely, yeah. Dave Connett: Can we go down that vaccine one with, cause it's got Hillary's blood, my friend. It's Hillary's. Rebeccca: Can we not? Can we not? Jack O'Brien: I didn't mention any particular vaccine, but nevertheless. Which one were you thinking of? Dave Connett: Come on, come on, what a great rabbit hole for us to get down. The one I didn't take. Rebeccca: dear. I think if you want to talk about what didn't make the cut, ⁓ the notes that I am looking at that I threw away. ⁓ I looked at guess Ahab and Jezebel and their fathers actually and what their fathers names meant and what their names mean and how ⁓ particularly with the Baal worshipers they you look like what you worship right? and the more that Jezebel and her husband and her father worshiped Baal, the more they began to resemble Baal. And I think this is quite interesting. I don't know, do you want me to talk about Baal and Asherah first or do want me to talk about Ahab and Jezebel first? Okay. Okay, I'll talk about the people first and then I'll dive into the demons. ⁓ So the king, Ahab's father was a guy called Omri. Jack O'Brien: Choose your own adventure. Rebeccca: and OMRI and his name actually means student of Jehovah, student of God. And I just think man with a name like that you would have hoped he would have learned from God, submitted to God's leadership, you know, but he was actually the Bible says he was the most evil king Israel had ever had and then he was very quickly surpassed by Ahab, his son who was then break all the records and is then the most evil king Israel ever had. ⁓ But Ahab's name means my father's brother. And in other words, for me, you know, it means he's going to follow in dad's footsteps. so Omri was evil. Ahab's like, right, I'll just continue that. I'll just continue that trajectory. then he marries Jezebel. And Jezebel is the daughter of the king of Sidon and his name was Efebal. And Efebal means Baal is with him. OK, so he had obviously kind of came from a line of Baal worshipers that his very name, you know, called on the name of Baal. And he not only worshiped Baal, but he was also at the same time the priest of Ashtoreth. Ashtoreth is a demonic goddess of sex, fertility and war. And so that's who he was worshiping. On top of that, he was the king of Sidon, but not because his father before him was the king, but because he murdered the king before him. Like he ascended the throne by chopping off the head of the guy before him, right? And then he names his daughter Jezebel. And Jezebel's name means Baal is my husband, but it can also in the Hebrew mean unchaste as in U-N-C-H-A-S-T-E, unchaste, like literally promiscuous, right? And so again, she's been raised right from birth to be this Baal follower. And... ⁓ worship of Baal and Ashuroth and Ashura was very immoral and so this is the environment she's grown up in. Okay and so when you understand what her dad was like and what she's born into and what she was named you understand why she had no problem murdering her political or religious opponents because that's what she'd seen dad do right. ⁓ And so she brings in Baal and Ashura worship into the nation. So Baal was the most popular god in the culture of the day. He was either depicted as a bull ⁓ or as a bearded warrior with the horns of a bull. And he was known as a storm god. So his weapon was like a lightning rod, right? A lightning bolt. And alongside Baal, they also worshiped Asherah. Asherah was a fertility goddess. So when you go to fertility goddesses in the old times, ⁓ It's an agricultural society. So fertility goddesses or fertility gods is what they would worship to ensure they had good crops, to ensure their flocks had lots of babies, to ensure their wives had lots of babies, because that was how you got wealth, right? So was all about wealth and prosperity. And so Baal and Asher were both fertility gods and goddesses, and they would worship them side by side because exponential fertility, right? Exponential wealth. And so because of that, ⁓ Entwined in all of that was a lot of sexual immorality without getting too deep because I don't know who's listening to this but basically they would believe that ⁓ ritual sex would actually ⁓ increase the fertility of your crops and increase the fertility of your herds and increase like it would actually increase fertility and therefore increase wealth. ⁓ And also mean that they had no problem sacrificing their children to these gods because again, if you gave Baal your child, he's happy with that. He gives you more children. He gives you more crops. He gives you more flocks, right? ⁓ And so, yeah, that's how it worked. And then the worshipers of Asherah would carve these poles, wooden poles that are called Asherah poles. And you find them all throughout the Old Testament. Jack O'Brien: Mm-hmm. Rebeccca: Anytime there was a righteous king, God would always say to that righteous king, get rid of all the asheropoles and they'll just go through and burn them all. But it was almost like a counterfeit tree of life is how the asheropole worked. It was a fertility thing. So you'd be more fertile, your crops, you know. And so, yeah, it was this counterfeit tree of life because everything is counterfeit. Everything God does, Satan tries to counterfeit, right? ⁓ I mentioned yesterday, it's like the blood, you know, when... Bals prophets are trying to call on Bals to do what they want them to do. They're cutting themselves. They're bringing blood out. ⁓ I remember talking, I'm a little bit off track here, but I remember talking years ago with a woman I knew who would cut herself, know, self-mutilation. And I was trying to get to the bottom of what was it. And she said, you know, when I see the blood begin to flow, I actually feel like I'm forgiven. I actually feel cleansed. And it's interesting because the Bible says without the shedding of blood, is no forgiveness of sins. But we worship a God who his blood was shed for our forgiveness of sins. Satan counterfeits it and goes, no, I want your blood for the the false forgiveness. Right. ⁓ And same with the unborn. Satan demands the blood of the unborn. Jack O'Brien: Mm. Mm-hmm. Rebeccca: for our freedom and it's not actually a freedom, it's a slavery. So anyway, I'm a little bit off track, but that's kind of the these gods. What you need to understand is that when they worship these idols and these, you know, the piece of metal means nothing. The wooden pole means nothing, but behind it is a very real demonic force, a very real spiritual force, which is very powerful. And just because we don't worship actual physical idols today, it does not mean that those demons aren't still active. ⁓ today and I would say that you've got you know your Bal and Asher are demons but you've also got your Ahab and Jezebel demons as well. We can dive into Ahab and Jezebel and what those demons might be if you want to. Jack O'Brien: You listed that, I know when I first came across the idea of, yeah, I have been Jezebel type spirits. It really opened my eyes. You see the world differently when you start to appreciate and understand these things. So yeah, go for it. Go there. Rebeccca: Yeah, I have in Jezebel are very interesting because ⁓ Jezebel really is a feminist. ⁓ It's a demonic. ⁓ What I have in Jezebel do is they usurp God's gender roles, right? Which if we don't live in that society today, I know what we live in. And so Ahab is very weak, very passive. He's a little boy, right? He's actually a story in One King's, I think it's 20, 2021, where he wanted a guy's vineyard and he tried to buy it from him. The guy said, no, this is my family vineyard. I'm not selling it. I don't care how much you offer me. And it actually says that he went to bed, turned his face to the wall and sold to a little child. And so Jezebel comes in as this, she's strong, she's domineering, she's manipulative. And so... what it does again, everything God creates, Satan counterfeits. And so instead of having strength in the man of God leading the home and strength in the woman of God alongside him, both in their roles and varying roles of leadership and varying roles of health, you have this woman who dominates. She has this murderous spirit. She murdered all of God's prophets, right? So there's this murderousness around there. There's the child sacrifice around there. So there you've got all ⁓ the pro-abortion, the murdering of our child, our children for our benefit, for financial gain. That's all very much part of this Jezebel thing. And then at the same time, this diminishing of masculinity, this emptying out of strength of the man. ⁓ And I think that is what we see in our culture today. And so much so that sometimes you see men who should be strong men actually, the Jezebel spirit and the Ahab spirit so twists and perverts that they actually want to be women and want that ⁓ femininity because they want that feminist, there's that Jezebel Ahab weird warping. of who we actually are identity wise and male and female. So it's very active today. Jack O'Brien: Mm. Dave Connett: So Bex, in Genesis, when it comes to the results of sin, and God says to Eve, your desire will be for your husband. And I mean, I know for you what that means with me, ⁓ for everyone, for the curse, it's that your desire would be for your husband's role. ⁓ And in a feminist world, It's, it's, and it hasn't just been, I mean, certain areas of the feminist movement have been to address the inequalities of the abuses, but yet it's almost become now we're usurping, we're wanting that role. And I think there's a uniqueness that God has given men and women, husbands and wives, that is there for the flourishing of the individual, for the marriage and for the, for the family. and the flourishing of one another, I think in service of one another. ⁓ if you've got this situation with Ahab, who is not actually leading and saying to his wife, darling, that's a no, we are not doing that. It actually takes a man of courage and stature and godliness to be able to stand up confidently. to his wife to be able to handle the facts and the emotions at the same time to be able to go as for me and my house darling, we are going to serve the Lord, especially if she's bought into this notion of my desire is for the husband's role of leadership. I find there's a lot of young men, not just young men, but because of a lack of confidence. And it might be that they weren't fathered, they weren't taught, they weren't shown. And they just want to be the nice guy, then you've got women that are basically ruling the roost and wondering why they have a child for a husband instead of the spiritual leader and it's this contention for well he's not doing it someone's got to do it and it creates this it creates this spiral but Rebeccca: Mm. So I'll just pause for one second. I don't want to disturb your train of thought, but I think even in that, that even our culture and our education system has so bought into this Ahab and Jezebel spirit that, you know, girls are told you can do anything, a girl boss, and the boys are actually told they're the source of all the problems. And so we actually live in a culture that, yeah, pulls away from the strength, the innate strength of a man. and says, no, that's wrong, don't be that. And so therefore, you know, like you say, you have these men that are actually little children and part of it is that they have not learned to lead but part of it is also that this is what culture is. Currently, we have an Ahab and Jezebel culture. Yeah. Dave Connett: Yeah, well, you'll find at that point that if you have a husband acting like a child, well, then the wife to try to get things going will berate like a mother. ⁓ you just get this and so you'll get the pulling apart of a marriage based upon that. But it does take a godly couple to say what we're do is we're have a reset, we're to do it God's way. And we're to come back to the Word of God and we are going to actually bring out the best in one another, that we have different roles. And in that case, though that tension actually becomes now a teamwork, actually becomes a strengthening to a marriage. But we've got to stand firm on the word of God. What you want is masculinity. What you don't want is toxic. You don't want toxic anything. You don't want toxicity. But I tell you what, it's easy to label something as toxic masculinity. Jack O'Brien: Bye. Dave Connett: very difficult notion to say, well, here's toxic femininity. Look, that'll get you in a lot, a lot of trouble. But I tell you what, anything that's toxic is damaging to the people around. Rebeccca: Yeah, we'll see. Jack O'Brien: Yeah, very well said. But you know, your second point yesterday was around allegiance. And I, yeah, I believe that kind of struck a nerve with a lot of folks, you know, that's kind of the world we live in and, ⁓ know, allegiance in a kind of war type setting comes with certain connotations, but in practicality, can look, ⁓ there's a functional way that allegiance. plays out, right? It's not necessarily standing atop a mountain with a flag saying as for me and my house, it's more of an in, it's often external, but it's always internal to begin with, right? So what, in your mind, what does allegiance look like for the average person? How does that play out in the real world? Rebeccca: Mm. Yeah, I think it's very difficult because the real world has very real consequences and people are in jobs that they're being asked to do things that grieve the heart of God. And as I said yesterday, you know, you've got to make decisions because you've got mouths to feed. ⁓ But God actually, I feel like God gets it, but he doesn't. Like he understands the predicament, but he's like, yeah, but will you trust me? will you actually do the right thing? And I think that ⁓ I have a thought and it's just gone. But I think that with the syncretism is that, ⁓ that's right. It's the Bible says the little foxes that spoil the vine. And I think sometimes we go, ⁓ yeah, no, if I was asked to deny my faith, I would never do that. And Satan knows that. So Satan goes, yeah, but when you do this little thing, it's just little things, right? And I think always back to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, right? ⁓ Jack O'Brien: Yes. Rebeccca: because they were in a difficult situation, right? They're working for a pagan king. They have no choice. There's slaves in that land, right? Probably eunuchs, most likely. were eunuchs in that land. were there as slaves brought from another land who've been castrated, right? And that was very common. Jack O'Brien: Define, define unique, define unique for the listener. Rebeccca: if you took ⁓ slaves from another culture to come and serve in your kingdom you'd castrate all the males because it ⁓ basically the idea was they're less likely to rebel right they're weakened. Jack O'Brien: Mm-hmm. Rebeccca: And so here's these three young guys. And the reason these three guys' are known is because when the king said, I want you to bow to this massive statue, they refused. And everyone else bowed and worshiped the statue. And they said, we're not. And they stood standing. And there's a fiery furnace thing they had thrown into the light. No, we will not worship the statue. And sometimes we go, yeah, I would never do that either. But I think where we do get tripped up and where the devil does succeed is back in Daniel chapter one. where they were asked to eat food. And they, now that's where we go, ⁓ it's just food, right? And that's the little fox that spores the vine. And they actually said at that point, we won't eat your food. And that to me, those are the little things that your boss or your employee or the government or whatever is asking you to do. And we can easily justify it because we go, well, it's not actually sin. You know, we try to justify it. But I think what happens is you eat the food, you drink the wine, it's just little bits by little bits. And then when it comes to they go, OK, now you're going to bow to the statue. Well, you've been bending down. So you're actually already stooping, you're already halfway there. And as as tough as it is for me to say this because obviously I work for a church, right? I'm not facing what people are facing out there. So I have so much compassion for that. But I also in the Bible, what I see is men and women who refuse to compromise. And I think that's that allegiance where they go, God, I'm going to actually obey you. I'm not going to eat the food. And if I lose my job, I lose my job. Right? Because that way, when I'm actually asked to bow to the statue, Jack O'Brien: Run. Rebeccca: I've already done all the groundwork. I'm not going to bow. But everyone eats the food because it wasn't just three. Wasn't just those three young men that were taken from Israel and made eunuchs in the palace. There was a lot of them. There's only three that didn't bow. That's because those three didn't eat the food. I think that's the key. And that's a hard word. And I understand it's a hard word. ⁓ But coming into even the scripture we looked at yesterday with regards to this allegiance is in Revelation and it mentions the prophetess Jezebel, ⁓ false prophet, sorry, Jezebel had come into the church and said, it's okay to compromise, it's all okay. And Jesus is like, no, it's not, it's actually not. ⁓ And so I don't wanna specify what that looks like, because it's different for everyone. ⁓ But I think it's in this day and age, it's time for some tough decisions. That's the honest truth. Yep. Dave Connett: It's a huge call and you're right. And I appreciate that in the middle of that when you're calling for something like that, you were able to say, made it very clear, hey, look, I work for a church. ⁓ I mean, I certainly ⁓ struggled with churches that aren't even because you're not at risk of your job if you speak the truth on this sort of stuff. But there's churches that still won't do that. ⁓ But if we as a church don't stand firm in that and actually encourage people to stand firm. on the principles of the Word of God. we don't teach people to not eat the meat, like the Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, it rolls into so many other ways. And you end up with these progressive churches because we just refuse to actually tackle it. So I appreciate that you brought it up and I appreciate that you've given full disclosure going, hey, my job's not at risk. But the Kingdom of God is at risk, the people of God are at risk and generations are at risk if we actually don't stand for the truth. and encourage people to stand firm. I think that whole standing firm and trusting God, hey, look, I might lose my job. It's a similar concept that when I bring my tithes and offerings, well, I can't meet my bills on 100%. So God's, the whole point would be that I bring 10 % and God's able to actually redeem the 90 and I'm walking in his favor. I'm trusting him by bringing 10%. and I trust him with my future and when difficult times come, I've got this immense peace. Not because I'm oblivious to the problem, I'm aware of the problems, but my faith in Christ fills me to be able to overcome those difficulties at that time. To be able to stand firm for some people on some of the things you're talking about, it's gonna take great faith and great courage. I'm not oblivious to the problem, I'm standing regardless. ⁓ But you're right, if you don't... If you fail earlier with the food, you will also fail later when it's the Bower to the Idol. Rebeccca: And I'll just add that when you compromise, leaves no room for a miracle, Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego didn't eat the food. Jack O'Brien: Rot. Dave Connett: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, that's the mic drop right there. Say that again. No. If you compromise, there's no room for a miracle. Everyone wants the miracle. Rebeccca: Well you just ruined it. Well, right. this is, yeah. Yeah. Because they didn't eat the food, right? And then the did the miracle that at the end of that 10 days, they were stronger, they were healthier, they were fitter, they were in better condition than any of the others. And they go, Okay, no worries. God did the miracle. Dave Connett: They were 10 times greater. 10 times greater, 10 times greater, 10 times greater than ever before. Do you remember that song, Rebecca? Jack wasn't, you weren't there at that youth conference, were you, Jack? Rebeccca: Mm-hmm. No one knows. I do, but no one else. Jack O'Brien: I'm not sure I was born. Rebeccca: No, you weren't born Jack. Dave Connett: That's Ruckins McKinley. I want to hear personally, if anyone's listening to this and remembers that song and Ruckins McKinley, send me a message, please. Encourage me. Back to you, Rebecca. But you were right. That were 10 times better because they refused to eat. Rebeccca: Yeah. And I think, I think, you know, if we're going to believe in angels and demons, we're going to believe in the supernatural, then let's believe in the supernatural and actually have room for God to do a miracle. Why not? And by the same token, he doesn't promise comfort. And I think that's the other thing that we are just so used to comfort. We want things to go our own way. And I'm just the same. I want it all to go my way, But Jack O'Brien: Run. Rebeccca: again come back to Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and they're like, yeah, God can save us in the fiery furnace, but even if he doesn't, we want you to know, King, we ain't bowing, you know? And I think that's the thing where people just go, you know what? I'm actually gonna stand up and I'm gonna do what's right and I'm not gonna compromise. And I believe God's gonna do a miracle, but even if he doesn't and I lose my job, I'm still not bowing. And I just think, you know, what an amazing environment, what an amazing soil for a miracle that that would be. Jack O'Brien: Yeah, I really, I appreciate that. And I think the, you know, those boys had the courage to say, throw me in the fire furnace, if you like, because they refuse to compromise on the really easy stuff at the start. And the reality is that is, that is the reality for most good lifers and folks listening that you're not faced with the fiery furnace day in and day out. You're faced with the food and the wine and will you compromise when nobody's watching or when it doesn't matter? That's the real test. that if, and when the fiery furnace comes, it's actually a really simple conversation for those boys. can imagine it was pretty non-eventful. It's like, okay, throw us in, don't throw us in, whatever you like. He'll save us or he won't, but I'm not going to lose my soul for the sake of the world. Rebeccca: Is it? Yeah. Yeah. right. was a decision made years before. Jack O'Brien: Right. And, you know, I wonder, you know, when we play that out and this would be speculative, but how much of them standing on principle around the food was so winsome to others watching. And there's been my experience and how many other good life is like when you do subtly, but with confidence stand on principle and some of those basic things are spiritual warfare, not putting the pronoun in the bio or chiming into the conversation on abortion or gender or sexuality and just gently having conversations. How much of that is spiritual warfare and is super winsome to those around? It's such a wonderful testimony, leads people towards the gospel when we stand for truth. Rebeccca: Yeah, beautiful. Dave Connett: I think with that Jack, it's the standing on the principle but also if you are trusting in God that he's coming through on your behalf, you don't have to be abrasive or defensive. I've had conversations with people that completely disagree with my stance on abortion and I think biblically and scientifically I've got a fairly robust stance and then people would be like, you're not giving the woman's right to choose and I would just go, okay. I have to ask a different question, is, I just, is that a life? And to me, I've kind of worked out biblically and scientifically that is a life. And I think the most vulnerable lives should be defended. if you can walk, if you can, and I'll just say, if you can talk me through on that, that's, that's all I'm saying. It's unfortunate. There's unfortunate situations in and around, maybe difficult pregnancies and all sorts of different stuff. But is that life a life? that and if so, is it vulnerable? And if so, should we defend it? I'm like, if you can talk me through on that, that's, that's, that's, that's where it lies. And so I've had people that are venomous feminists that go, well, actually, you believe your belief is robust, and thanks for explaining it. And so I don't have to be abrasive or defensive, I just go. This is my take and I don't think you have to have a uterus to have that opinion. so, can we just chat? And so I think if I feel like I have to defend God, mean, God's got a fairly solid self-esteem. So I don't know if I have to defend him. I'm just looking to live it. I think that is Winston. I think the truth sets people free when they know it. But I think the peaceful, calm, confident, winsome way that you go about it is the way that it opens people's thinking. think you turn their cynicism to curiosity at least. Jack O'Brien: And I love to land it here. That's so much of what we discussed yesterday and even here today is that it's the basics of our behaviors and attitudes are spiritual warfare. Yes, it is praying in the spirit and fasting. And we're going to cover all those things. It is not just that it is how we show up with our allegiances in the world and the day to day, those simple practices of obedience and discipline is warfare in the spiritual realm. Dave Connett: Mm-hmm. Jack O'Brien: Thank you, Bec. Thank you for your message, your sermon. Any final words of wisdom? I know you love that question. We learnt the other day that you love that question. give us some words of Rebeccca: Yeah, I'd just say have courage. I mean, that was my first point yesterday, was a wage war of courage and have the courage of your convictions. know, someone recently said to me, you know, on some of the things that I've been speaking out against and in foreign all the rest of it and they're like, you know, but what if you get sent to jail? I'm like, okay, like. okay, I'll be in good company, was in jail, you know? And I don't take that lightly, but I think at some point, we actually have to live that life that is just sold out to Jesus and go, you know, as Esther said, if I perish, I perish, I've got to do what's right. So take heart, have big courageous. Jack O'Brien: Super. Thank you. Dave, any parting words? Dave Connett: Yeah, the third part of Bex's message was sure have the steps of courage, have the steps of allegiance, but it's the fire of God and the fire of God is his passion, his power, his resources. It's available and we all want the miracle and the miracle worker is working on your behalf. Even when you can't see it, he is making a way. He turns all things together for good for those who love the Lord who are called according to his purpose. So if you're in the fight, you want to fight to win and your greatest weapon is actually not in your hands, it's in the Lord Jesus Christ. It's in the power of the Holy Spirit. Let the fire of God do its complete work. You can trust him. Don't hold back. Jack O'Brien: Mmm. Amen. So good. Thank you Pastor Dave. Thank you Pastor Bex. ⁓ Good luckers. We'll see you on another episode. Bye for now. Dave Connett: Thanks, Jack. Ciao, bella!
