- 0:59Speaker 3: Here on this Thursday morning, we have actual college football games,
- 1:05Speaker 3: not Week zero, you know, not the Pharmageddon, the one
- 1:09Speaker 3: kind of singular game we were looking forward to, although
- 1:11Speaker 3: a couple end up being pretty decent games. We've got
- 1:14Speaker 3: a slate tonight, We've got games tomorrow night. We've got
- 1:20Speaker 3: games all day Saturday, We've got games on Sunday, and
- 1:23Speaker 3: we even have of Bill Belichick game on Monday.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Stop talking dirty right now.
- 1:30Speaker 3: So it is the start, the true start of college football,
- 1:35Speaker 3: starting tonight. Jake Flynn, Elandra Tata all here with you,
- 1:39Speaker 3: and we will certainly get there.
- 1:41Speaker 2: We'll break down all the games coming up.
- 1:44Speaker 3: A couple of teams finally naming their starting quarterback in
- 1:46Speaker 3: college football.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I'm happy I got a game this week.
- 1:53Speaker 2: We have one.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Yeah, we have one that is a little bit surprising
- 1:57Speaker 3: that has somewhat of an LSU tie that will give
- 1:59Speaker 3: you so a lot to get to. But as we
- 2:01Speaker 3: always do, go around the room, get a little vive check.
- 2:03Speaker 3: How are we doing?
- 2:05Speaker 4: Doing great? Thursday? Woke up today with a little bit
- 2:11Speaker 4: extra pepping my step just because of the things you
- 2:14Speaker 4: just laid out. It is college football season. We are
- 2:18Speaker 4: fired up, we are excited. We are one of you
- 2:21Speaker 4: out there that is listening right now. We are just
- 2:23Speaker 4: excited to get our fandom going. And it's not just
- 2:26Speaker 4: excited about the L. S U game. It's excited about
- 2:30Speaker 4: waking up Saturday morning, hearing that intro music to College
- 2:36Speaker 4: Game Day, watching Lee Corso in the game, go back
- 2:40Speaker 4: out there for one more time, one last dance. See
- 2:44Speaker 4: which head he puts on. It's obviously it's it's.
- 2:50Speaker 2: The first one he did. Yeah, it's gonna be the We're.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Gonna book end it. That's what people are thinking though,
- 2:56Speaker 4: and does not so fast, my friend, so fast, my
- 2:59Speaker 4: fridif puts ahead of himself on, I don't think you
- 3:04Speaker 4: do that because he's not playing in the game. Oh
- 3:06Speaker 4: that's a good point. Yeah, m Anyway, did you see
- 3:10Speaker 4: the little video they released about Lee Corso? He has
- 3:16Speaker 4: been released him at the College Football Hall of Fame
- 3:19Speaker 4: kind of watching the video of everybody talking to him,
- 3:22Speaker 4: And Wow, did I get some dust in my eye
- 3:27Speaker 4: watching that? Sure did? Was it was very well done. Honestly,
- 3:32Speaker 4: I'm excited to watch that show. I'm excited to kind
- 3:35Speaker 4: of see the farewell they give, but just the noises,
- 3:39Speaker 4: the sounds of college football. I'm excited to have that
- 3:41Speaker 4: back in the old household. Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 3: And I'm not gonna sit here and I'm not gonna
- 3:45Speaker 3: lie to you and act like I watch College Game
- 3:47Speaker 3: Day from start to finish every single week. But it's
- 3:50Speaker 3: it's background fodder. I'm going to watch it at some
- 3:53Speaker 3: portion of the show. Yep, right, I'm gonna sit down
- 3:55Speaker 3: and watch a little bit of it. And right now,
- 3:57Speaker 3: it's like the sights, the sounds, the star the feel
- 4:01Speaker 3: of having College Game Day. I mean, almost everybody here
- 4:04Speaker 3: listening to this show has grown up with College Game
- 4:07Speaker 3: Day in their living room, in their room every single
- 4:10Speaker 3: Saturday in the fall. And you know, Herbie's still on there,
- 4:14Speaker 3: and Herbie's been a large part of course. So this
- 4:16Speaker 3: is gonna be a final time like he's been on there,
- 4:18Speaker 3: So yeah, for sure, no matter. That's one of the
- 4:21Speaker 3: cool things about college game day. You can be you know,
- 4:24Speaker 3: you can be my son who's fifteen, you can be
- 4:27Speaker 3: me who's forty. You can be a Launder and Tata
- 4:30Speaker 3: in their twenties, and like, we all have college game
- 4:33Speaker 3: day memories and we all look forward to it.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Hey, and y'all know this.
- 4:36Speaker 3: There's not many things that fifteen, a twenty seven, a
- 4:41Speaker 3: forty a forty seven all can like sit and agree
- 4:45Speaker 3: and say, yeah, that's cool.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Sports is definitely one of those things that it's a
- 4:50Speaker 4: started college football. And yeah, just like you said, man,
- 4:53Speaker 4: you're gonna have it on and you're gonna have the
- 4:55Speaker 4: noises and you're gonna see the commentary. You're gonna listen
- 4:58Speaker 4: when coach Sabans on there and he's talking, and then
- 5:01Speaker 4: you're gonna you're gonna drift in and out and you're
- 5:04Speaker 4: gonna come in and lock in when you get that
- 5:06Speaker 4: one segment of the heartfelt story by what's that journalist's name, well.
- 5:15Speaker 2: A long time now it's Pete Damil, right and Pete
- 5:18Speaker 2: Dmill do it.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Yeah, man, anytime there was a bad story.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Tom's like, yeah, get im, I'm getting out of here.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Tom ever knocks on my door. I'm like, no, you're
- 5:31Speaker 5: not allowed in.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, relaxed, Tom, It stop making me cry. It's Saturday,
- 5:36Speaker 4: nine fifteen, trying to get fired up.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Here, trying to get ready for Northwestern Iowa right after this.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Trying to slam a Saturday pregame. Do sekis Relax anyway,
- 5:50Speaker 4: That's all I'm doing.
- 5:51Speaker 2: This point All right?
- 5:52Speaker 4: Good?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Uh a, Landra, how are we doing this morning?
- 5:55Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 5:55Speaker 7: A lot Like Flann, I'm very excited it's here. It's
- 6:00Speaker 7: not week zero, week one, and it was a short
- 6:03Speaker 7: week for me because I had Monday off in today's Thursday.
- 6:07Speaker 6: So I feel good.
- 6:08Speaker 7: I feel ready for the weekend, ready for the chaos
- 6:12Speaker 7: of football season to ensue.
- 6:14Speaker 3: I mean, I think we should at least once a
- 6:16Speaker 3: year be able to take off a Monday and they
- 6:19Speaker 3: not count you know against.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Us, right, no vacation, Well I to a vacation day.
- 6:23Speaker 3: But well, I mean it's a holiday, you know what
- 6:25Speaker 3: I'm saying, Like working, we shouldn't have Like, hey, I'm
- 6:30Speaker 3: not gonna take this vacation day. You know what, I
- 6:32Speaker 3: got a lotle case of the Mondays. It's the fall,
- 6:33Speaker 3: it's football season. I think I'm gonna take this one.
- 6:35Speaker 7: You know how in school they give you extra days
- 6:39Speaker 7: or like a day off if you Yeah, we skip
- 6:43Speaker 7: labor day off, so we should get an extra day
- 6:46Speaker 7: that everybody else doesn't have off.
- 6:48Speaker 6: We should get it off.
- 6:49Speaker 3: That's fair and that's where the big ideas come from.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Here on OTB from Milandro. That's well done.
- 6:56Speaker 7: Wow wait, I'm getting roasted already. Oh boy, they said
- 7:00Speaker 7: not a launder her mem outfit. This is not a
- 7:02Speaker 7: me ma outphit.
- 7:03Speaker 4: This is very.
- 7:07Speaker 2: High fashion that looks like showed me your move move.
- 7:11Speaker 7: It's not that, but it does look like but it's
- 7:15Speaker 7: matt looks like sitting down.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Company, stand up short.
- 7:19Speaker 5: It's shorts.
- 7:20Speaker 6: It's not a or me outfit. Shorts.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fine.
- 7:26Speaker 8: If it was, if it was a meal, that little
- 7:29Speaker 8: scene right there would be dragging the ground.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Get out of here, Get out of here. That's a
- 7:40Speaker 3: company like it's it's fine and like it's called show
- 7:43Speaker 3: me Your Moomoo t Bob's sister.
- 7:45Speaker 2: It's her company.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It's very very popular and it has a lot of
- 7:48Speaker 3: prints like that and it's very expensive because it's well.
- 7:53Speaker 6: It's like it is not mine or this is not.
- 7:56Speaker 2: And maybe if you know T Bob got you the
- 7:58Speaker 2: promo code.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Although although I love our guy Tea Bob, that's one
- 8:03Speaker 3: thing he is not gonna donna.
- 8:08Speaker 4: But to his at all, to his credit, he doesn't
- 8:10Speaker 4: look for it either. He never once asked me for
- 8:13Speaker 4: like because he would buy my eye all the time.
- 8:14Speaker 4: He never once asked me for one single package.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Can I tell you? Can I can? I? Mm?
- 8:20Speaker 3: Oh, boy, you know what, I'm not going to because
- 8:22Speaker 3: it's not Foxhole. And even though he's not here anymore,
- 8:25Speaker 3: we were once in the Foxhole together and once you're
- 8:27Speaker 3: in there together, you're always in there.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 8:31Speaker 2: So not gonna do it.
- 8:33Speaker 4: It's big of you. Thank you?
- 8:36Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 8:37Speaker 5: Doing good?
- 8:39Speaker 8: Joyed reading these comments, unfortunately at a laundro's expense. Mitchell
- 8:42Speaker 8: Nap said, that's mumu adjason, which I think is pretty funny.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I like this one looks comfy.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Alf, Yeah, it does look comfy.
- 8:52Speaker 4: What's alf?
- 8:54Speaker 2: That's frick like the letter A and the letter Oh
- 8:57Speaker 2: what does it stiffer?
- 8:58Speaker 5: I don't know, but I mean it's two.
- 9:00Speaker 8: Letters what the kids are saying. Yeah, no, guys, we are.
- 9:03Speaker 8: We are fired up obviously for football season. We got
- 9:05Speaker 8: the jamboree tonight, Matt's favorite game of the year.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we got to call one at five.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah we got you high done them.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Oh it's right, that's that's to make it all over school.
- 9:20Speaker 5: I got a Piscopal river Side.
- 9:21Speaker 3: I mean, this is a big this is a big
- 9:23Speaker 3: Hester versus Flod week. I mean we've already scrimmaged each
- 9:25Speaker 3: other in flag football. Now our kids schools are going
- 9:28Speaker 3: against each other. That I'm saying, we're rivals now, we
- 9:33Speaker 3: absolutely are. I might have to step out there a
- 9:35Speaker 3: little bit today. I kind of forgot it was today.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I was thinking it was tomorrow three times this week.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Well I don't I drift in and out of that
- 9:44Speaker 3: when you speak to me.
- 9:46Speaker 4: That's good.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Three hours of that every day.
- 9:49Speaker 4: I catch about forty percent of what you say. That's
- 9:51Speaker 4: tired enough. Yeah, I'll take it. Whre's a Piscopal play.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Sorry Riverside.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Okay, they're actually be in New Orleans, right, Yeah, they're
- 10:00Speaker 3: pretty good this year, So we'll all be a high
- 10:04Speaker 3: school jambure is landra You going to a high school jamboree.
- 10:07Speaker 7: I wasn't planning on it, but yeah, well I can
- 10:10Speaker 7: make it out to one.
- 10:11Speaker 8: Yeah, found out great news about that jamburey last night.
- 10:15Speaker 8: I got the early game. The thing starts at five o'clock.
- 10:17Speaker 8: I'll be home by seven. That's true, it's only half
- 10:19Speaker 8: a game.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 6: I actually had the.
- 10:21Speaker 7: Brian Kelly Show and I can't Is it always on Thursdays?
- 10:25Speaker 3: Thursday's new for him though, Like he used to be
- 10:28Speaker 3: like I'm saying with like other.
- 10:29Speaker 7: Coaches, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, so Jay's Jay Johnson's is
- 10:33Speaker 7: on Monday.
- 10:34Speaker 2: The coach. Oh used to be like, I don't remember.
- 10:37Speaker 8: I think I think mcmayll's on Monday too, and then
- 10:39Speaker 8: Molki's Tuesday.
- 10:41Speaker 4: It has Monday Tuesday vibes. Yeah, I don't think it
- 10:44Speaker 4: was always on Thursday, because.
- 10:46Speaker 6: Usually Johnson's is on Mondays.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Is nothing like usually like to review some sort of
- 10:50Speaker 4: like play from the week before.
- 10:52Speaker 8: Yeah, he does it like these because he has the
- 10:56Speaker 8: Monday press conference.
- 10:58Speaker 5: So I mean that's kind of his yeap.
- 11:00Speaker 4: All right, where do we go for that? Where is
- 11:02Speaker 4: it looking?
- 11:04Speaker 3: It's always I know, I know less than do it
- 11:06Speaker 3: on Thursdays unless I'm crazy because we used to have
- 11:09Speaker 3: Unity Council meetings on Thursdays, and that man would keep
- 11:13Speaker 3: us way longer than we probably should have had to
- 11:15Speaker 3: be there. Well, we did have we did have some Uh,
- 11:18Speaker 3: some guys got put in front of the room. Hey,
- 11:21Speaker 3: this guy missed these classes. He was late for this judged.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Oh great, this same guy again.
- 11:32Speaker 4: You're talking about the Unity Council meetings where it was
- 11:35Speaker 4: all the leaders. Yeah, one leader of every position group
- 11:40Speaker 4: would come together.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Yeah, once a week on Thursdays, and we would give our.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Opinions of what we think should happen with the team
- 11:47Speaker 4: and how we think things should be governed and managed.
- 11:50Speaker 4: And then you guys would say, I hear you. Oh true,
- 11:55Speaker 4: We're not going to do that. And here's why.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Yeah, great feedback. Guys, say, y'all been here. I bought
- 12:00Speaker 3: y'all pizza, but here coach is gonna bring that pizza
- 12:04Speaker 3: in here. Don't forget about the pizza, but everything y'all
- 12:08Speaker 3: just said.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I'm not gonna do that.
- 12:11Speaker 4: We're gonna note it down. Okay, we're gonna write this down.
- 12:14Speaker 4: They just gonna file it. We might we might circle
- 12:18Speaker 4: back to it, thank y'all. Here's some pizza Peperoni. We
- 12:20Speaker 4: went for two toppings this time. Though.
- 12:22Speaker 8: That sounds like it's like, tell me what you want
- 12:24Speaker 8: to do, because I want to tell you no.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 12:27Speaker 3: I mean those those unity Council meetings, like sometimes when
- 12:32Speaker 3: when guys really messed up and we had a very
- 12:36Speaker 3: tight knit team and we were like, we we can't
- 12:38Speaker 3: have that in here.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It's gonna mess up the mojo. They did get pretty intense.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you'd have some guys have to get dragged in there.
- 12:49Speaker 4: It like felt like they were dragged in there, like
- 12:51Speaker 4: with chains on their ankles and then their their wrists.
- 12:55Speaker 4: They were in front of a jury like this is
- 12:56Speaker 4: what he did, Like this is how many cist minute?
- 12:58Speaker 4: How many points he had he had at that? What
- 13:00Speaker 4: should we do?
- 13:01Speaker 3: This is Yet he was late for these three workouts.
- 13:03Speaker 3: He missed these seven classes.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Every now and then you'd hear Herman Johnson say, oh.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Big, Herb, that's great. Herb still a policeman.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I think, some sort of law enforcement, I believe.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Can you imagine getting pulled over and before you know
- 13:23Speaker 3: how nice of a human being Herman is?
- 13:25Speaker 2: You see him walking towards your car.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Registration.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yes.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Sir, Yes, sorry when they when they say there's always
- 13:35Speaker 4: somebody bigger and badder out there, herman wouldn't maybe maybe
- 13:41Speaker 4: he wouldn't fall into the like the batter term, just
- 13:43Speaker 4: because he was so nice. That's what I'm saying.
- 13:46Speaker 3: That's why I said, until you knew how nice he was,
- 13:48Speaker 3: like kind of intimidated as he's walking to your car.
- 13:53Speaker 3: A little research, doing the break, little fact checks. We'll
- 13:57Speaker 3: get into it when we come back.
- 13:59Speaker 2: It is to be off the bench. Are go to

- 15:07Speaker 2: But I understand why.
- 15:11Speaker 5: She's burning me to hold on to this.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I know this is something I gotta from players to legends,
- 15:18Speaker 1: Hester and Flynn breakdown LSU football like only champions can.
- 15:22Speaker 9: I'm trying to say, his dad, I love you. Lets
- 15:27Speaker 9: I feel like this it's coming to an end and
- 15:32Speaker 9: it's better for me to let it go now and
- 15:36Speaker 9: hold on to her. I gotta let it burn.
- 15:41Speaker 6: He's come burn for me to say this.
- 15:43Speaker 5: He's coming from Aha.
- 15:45Speaker 9: It's been a long time coming, but we didn't band
- 15:48Speaker 9: better apart we They want to work this.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Up and they don't think you're going to change.
- 15:53Speaker 9: I don't think it's best week, go our every way.
- 16:00Speaker 6: This version.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Getting you started right on RMB Thursday. Here shout out
- 16:06Speaker 3: a Landra on the ones and twos. Welcome back in OTB.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Tatay.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Inside the document, you put a computer model the SMP
- 16:17Speaker 3: plus has LSU losing thirty to twenty eight. Now, I
- 16:24Speaker 3: really don't care what a computer says. I don't care
- 16:27Speaker 3: about SMP plus right now here in the opening week
- 16:30Speaker 3: of the season. But I'm glad you put it in there,
- 16:33Speaker 3: because what if LSU's up twenty eight to twenty seven,
- 16:39Speaker 3: Clemson drives kicks a game winning field goal, and LSU
- 16:42Speaker 3: loses a heartbreaker thirty to twenty eight on the road
- 16:46Speaker 3: for a team that could be potentially the best team
- 16:49Speaker 3: in the country right at home.
- 16:51Speaker 2: You know, when you're at home, you get a little
- 16:52Speaker 2: bit more juice. We all know that.
- 16:54Speaker 3: And Taylor asked a question, what would the fan reaction be.
- 17:00Speaker 3: It's a great question because of everything I just laid
- 17:04Speaker 3: out about Clemson, and then being really good and k
- 17:07Speaker 3: Klebnik Heisman Trophy type guy, and you know they made
- 17:10Speaker 3: the playoff last year. But I just don't know if
- 17:16Speaker 3: it matters how you lose, like unless you get blown out.
- 17:18Speaker 3: And that's the obvious statement, but I think LSU fans
- 17:22Speaker 3: want to win so bad because being zero and five
- 17:25Speaker 3: and the last five season openers, I really truly don't
- 17:29Speaker 3: know what the reaction would be because if you had
- 17:32Speaker 3: not lost your last five openers, let's say you've even
- 17:35Speaker 3: you know, if you've been three and two in those
- 17:38Speaker 3: and you lose a game like this, then you're like, okay,
- 17:40Speaker 3: you know what, Okay, okay, all right, you still can
- 17:43Speaker 3: go ten and two. She's like, maybe playoff and then
- 17:44Speaker 3: you're trying to find ways to make it. But I
- 17:46Speaker 3: just think because you've lost the last five, it's like,
- 17:50Speaker 3: I don't know that any score is going to make
- 17:52Speaker 3: any LSU fan have any warm and fuzzy feeling.
- 17:55Speaker 4: No. I think five opening game losses in a row
- 18:03Speaker 4: kind of takes all the excuses away, like there's no
- 18:07Speaker 4: there's no moral victory coming out of this weekend, except
- 18:12Speaker 4: the only moral victory is, like, you know, we season's
- 18:16Speaker 4: not over se see play starts in a couple of weeks,
- 18:19Speaker 4: blah blah blah. But from a fan base, no, I
- 18:22Speaker 4: think everybody's gonna be pretty pissed.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think so. There. I honestly like, I
- 18:29Speaker 2: get it. I do. I get it.
- 18:32Speaker 3: And if this was another team, maybe it have a
- 18:35Speaker 3: different feel, but I would understand the frustration.
- 18:39Speaker 4: And again, if you were like this season two an
- 18:42Speaker 4: opening games last five, yeah you have a little bit
- 18:44Speaker 4: different conversation. But it's own five like that, this is
- 18:46Speaker 4: a this has become a thing like monkey in your bag,
- 18:50Speaker 4: like it's a it's a big thing. And now you're
- 18:53Speaker 4: playing the best team that you've played in any of
- 18:55Speaker 4: these these six opening games in the last six years.
- 18:59Speaker 4: So yeah, there is no middle ground in this one.
- 19:02Speaker 4: It's either win or lose. People are happy or very upset. Yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 4: there's no like if like I said, if there we
- 19:11Speaker 4: were three and two, even like two and three in
- 19:13Speaker 4: the last five games, like maybe there is man, we
- 19:15Speaker 4: played really well. That's a really good team and we're
- 19:18Speaker 4: gonna see them later. We will see them in the playoffs. Again.
- 19:21Speaker 4: I can't wait to see that team. There's not going
- 19:23Speaker 4: to be any of that if we lose, like a
- 19:25Speaker 4: close one.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and it goes south. Brings up a great point.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Every SEC school has a winning record in the last
- 19:32Speaker 3: five openers outside of LSU. Even Vandy has gone three
- 19:35Speaker 3: and two. I mean, Bandy kind of turn the ship
- 19:38Speaker 3: around last year obviously, And look a lot of times
- 19:43Speaker 3: we're playing, you know, Marshall, like Georgia is this year,
- 19:47Speaker 3: they're playing directional school. You you know, Missouri's got a
- 19:51Speaker 3: game tonight, same situation.
- 19:54Speaker 2: You have not done that to your credit, which I
- 19:56Speaker 2: still love. You've you know, Mississippis.
- 20:00Speaker 3: State, Florida State twice, USC now UCLA. But still you're
- 20:04Speaker 3: going out there and that's one of their better teams.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Not gonna call them a great team by any means.
- 20:08Speaker 3: I mean they were an okay team. But it doesn't matter.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Like that's the thing, Like it just it doesn't matter
- 20:15Speaker 3: who you're playing. It doesn't matter the circumstance, it doesn't
- 20:17Speaker 3: matter who they have on their sideline. Like LSU fans
- 20:21Speaker 3: are going to be incredibly upset if you don't win
- 20:26Speaker 3: this game.
- 20:27Speaker 4: That's why. Then it's such a beautiful thing. Now the
- 20:32Speaker 4: only if they did, if it happens, if some crazy happens.
- 20:35Speaker 4: We're gonna come here Monday and tell you outside how
- 20:37Speaker 4: you start, it's how you finish.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna break down how it happened.
- 20:43Speaker 10: Now.
- 20:43Speaker 3: The good thing is if you do lose this game,
- 20:50Speaker 3: it's not like in the year's past where you don't
- 20:51Speaker 3: have a chance to get a massive win a couple
- 20:54Speaker 3: of weeks after that, like the last couple of years,
- 20:59Speaker 3: Like you look at schedules like, oh man, this thing's
- 21:02Speaker 3: going to be on like just neutral until you get
- 21:05Speaker 3: to this game that's in week five or whatever. It's
- 21:08Speaker 3: just gonna feel boring. You do have Florida on September
- 21:11Speaker 3: the thirteenth, and that's win our lose. I can't be
- 21:14Speaker 3: too high, it can't be too low. So the schedule
- 21:17Speaker 3: is completely different this year and how it's kind of
- 21:19Speaker 3: formatted than in years past as well.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Yeah it was. And I don't even really really want
- 21:25Speaker 4: to dive into this too much because I don't want
- 21:27Speaker 4: to like even put this, put these words into the air.
- 21:29Speaker 4: I don't want to talk about that situation of having
- 21:32Speaker 4: to have that bounce back game or that get right.
- 21:34Speaker 2: This is based off the S and P plus prediction.
- 21:36Speaker 2: This is not us predicting.
- 21:37Speaker 4: That it's true, like the these robot predictions. Man, I've
- 21:42Speaker 4: I'm listening to a lot of sports radio right now,
- 21:44Speaker 4: well the sports talk. I haven't heard one person pick
- 21:51Speaker 4: LSU in the entire yeah country of the United States
- 21:56Speaker 4: of America. Not one person.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Yeah, And it all depends on who who you're listening to.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I was listening. I saw a clip. I wasn't listening
- 22:04Speaker 3: to it. Uh my guy Danny Canell and Bud Elliott.
- 22:08Speaker 3: I forget what their podcast. I think Cover three might be.
- 22:10Speaker 4: They do a great job, but they're both acc leans
- 22:14Speaker 4: and they made it sound like it was this incredible
- 22:17Speaker 4: heel too high for LSU to climb, And that was
- 22:21Speaker 4: surprising to me.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Like, and I'm with you. Like most people you talk to,
- 22:25Speaker 3: they're picking the home team. They're picking clumps and clumps.
- 22:27Speaker 4: They made the.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Playoff last year. They're going off the trend of LSU
- 22:30Speaker 3: being oh for their last five.
- 22:31Speaker 4: And not only are they picking them, most people I
- 22:34Speaker 4: hear talking are taking them to cover minus four, which
- 22:40Speaker 4: is wild to me as well. They must not know.
- 22:43Speaker 4: They must not have never heard of the nuts bus.
- 22:47Speaker 4: They must not have never ever heard of the star position.
- 22:54Speaker 4: It's gonna dominate Clubnick's face. I don't know. I don't
- 23:02Speaker 4: like these robots.
- 23:08Speaker 3: So Greg and said the bodyfore chat was talking about
- 23:13Speaker 3: the radio he was listening to, and I guess it
- 23:16Speaker 3: was a Clemson lean I was talking about the game
- 23:18Speaker 3: plan was to spread it out and pick on Harold Perkins.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I also heard the same thing from that the Canal
- 23:25Speaker 3: and I Forget podcast that I was listening to, like,
- 23:30Speaker 3: spread it out, pick on Perkinson coverage. But as Greg
- 23:34Speaker 3: points out, like back in twenty twenty three, he was
- 23:36Speaker 3: the highest graded coverage linebacker in the SEC. So they're like,
- 23:41Speaker 3: there's look, there's a reason why he's playing the position
- 23:43Speaker 3: that he's playing.
- 23:44Speaker 4: And you can do that. But like based on their film,
- 23:46Speaker 4: they they spread it out and most of their deeper
- 23:52Speaker 4: throws deeper shots that I've seen, at least from their
- 23:54Speaker 4: film from a year ago. Now, things could have changed.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Most of their deeper shots are outside towards the sideline,
- 24:02Speaker 4: maybe some seam throws towards the middle of the field,
- 24:07Speaker 4: but there wasn't a ton of like deeper shots over
- 24:09Speaker 4: the middle of the field. Uh you know. In fact,
- 24:13Speaker 4: I saw Club miss multiple reads where he had people
- 24:16Speaker 4: open down the middle of the field, which is normally
- 24:18Speaker 4: your traditional place to like take take advantage of linebackers.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Now when he's in the slot playing you know, whatever
- 24:26Speaker 4: whatever position you want to call it out there, and
- 24:28Speaker 4: you're playing curl flat, you're playing monument defenders, you're playing
- 24:31Speaker 4: in zone coverage, Like, there's only so much you can
- 24:34Speaker 4: do to pick on somebody like that because you're just
- 24:37Speaker 4: trying to when when when you got those guys in
- 24:40Speaker 4: zone coverage, you're trying to high load them. You're trying
- 24:41Speaker 4: to make them make a decision. You're trying to make
- 24:43Speaker 4: them play the curl flat, go one direction, throw the
- 24:46Speaker 4: other directions. So it's really not really based on like
- 24:49Speaker 4: personnel at that point. Of course, there's people are better
- 24:52Speaker 4: at playing it than others, but they don't do a
- 24:55Speaker 4: whole lot of that of trying to affect the I
- 25:00Speaker 4: call it the nickel. Usually the guy over a slot
- 25:02Speaker 4: in an eleven personnel, they don't do they take quick
- 25:05Speaker 4: hitters like they have the slot guy run a little
- 25:08Speaker 4: five step stop route, hitch r out, whatever you want
- 25:11Speaker 4: to call it. They do do a lot of that,
- 25:15Speaker 4: But man Clemson wants to run the ball. Like I
- 25:17Speaker 4: was watching film with them. They run the ball a lot. Yeah,
- 25:20Speaker 4: they run run pass a decent amount of times. It's
- 25:23Speaker 4: heavy play action. They run it with clubning. But they
- 25:26Speaker 4: pulled those guards. I think I told you the other
- 25:28Speaker 4: day the game I was watching, they ran power probably
- 25:32Speaker 4: eight nine times in the first quarter, none and then
- 25:35Speaker 4: they ran all zone in the second and third quarter,
- 25:38Speaker 4: and then back to like eight nine powers in the
- 25:39Speaker 4: fourth quarter. Yeah, Like it was weird how it was like,
- 25:42Speaker 4: all right, there's no powers in the second or third quarter.
- 25:44Speaker 3: And to give an example, how many powers that is?
- 25:48Speaker 3: That's probably that No, it is, that's more than LSU
- 25:51Speaker 3: ran all last season, right, I think they ran Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 3: I think they ran twelve powers total last year.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Yeah. So you look at these high powered offenses across
- 25:58Speaker 4: the country, like you you you talked about Ole miss
- 26:01Speaker 4: a couple of weeks ago. So it's the same with Clemson.
- 26:05Speaker 4: They want to run the ball. They are going to
- 26:07Speaker 4: try to run the ball, and then of course they're
- 26:09Speaker 4: gonna spread out, but they rely on those receivers that
- 26:13Speaker 4: are all returning, by the way, to make really big
- 26:16Speaker 4: time one on one, fifty to fifty catches, and they
- 26:19Speaker 4: did it a decent amount last year. So our dbs.
- 26:22Speaker 4: They just have to be really good at the point
- 26:24Speaker 4: of contact, high point of the ball and making plays
- 26:28Speaker 4: on the ball. But you know, as far as they
- 26:30Speaker 4: trying to isolate Harold Perkins, I mean, I don't see
- 26:32Speaker 4: him being lined up man demand coverage versus a receiver
- 26:37Speaker 4: of a lot. It might happen where they confuse us
- 26:40Speaker 4: on a formation and they do some shifts and motions
- 26:42Speaker 4: where it ends up being like that, but it's not
- 26:44Speaker 4: going to happen a lot. The goal cannot be if
- 26:46Speaker 4: you're gonna put Harld Perkins out in the slot to
- 26:49Speaker 4: get him manned up on a wide receiver running down
- 26:51Speaker 4: the field. Yeah, not to say he can't do that
- 26:53Speaker 4: and be successful a couple of times, but eventually if
- 26:56Speaker 4: you do it at too many times, it'll bite you. Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I can't wait to come back from this break.
- 27:04Speaker 3: And because I know how much you love the star position, Sure,
- 27:08Speaker 3: I'm going to give you the names of the starting
- 27:11Speaker 3: eleven for Alabama's defense, and I can't wait to get
- 27:15Speaker 3: your reaction on some of the names.
- 27:18Speaker 2: We'll do that when we come back here on HOTV
- 27:21Speaker 2: off the bench.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Really look forward to that.
- 27:24Speaker 3: You might have to go for dose after you hear
- 27:26Speaker 3: these here in studio. You should always be ready to
- 27:29Speaker 3: go for dose. It is the perfect time. I don't
- 27:33Speaker 3: want to. I don't want to get too cocky, but
- 27:36Speaker 3: the weather feels like it's changing just a little bit,
- 27:39Speaker 3: like maybe we get full.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Maybe we do. But when you're.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Tailgating and you're outside, you're packing a ten up, you're
- 27:45Speaker 3: packing the TV, the generator, do not forget about that
- 27:49Speaker 3: ice chest full of those ice cold dose sekis. Because
- 27:52Speaker 3: what is better than watching college football with your feet
- 27:55Speaker 3: up going for dose.
- 27:56Speaker 4: I'll answer that for you. Nothing, Hey, nothing, all right,
- 27:59Speaker 4: So it ready.
- 28:00Speaker 2: It is the fall. It is a football season, Gopher dose.
- 28:04Speaker 4: That is right. It is time. It is Thursday. We
- 28:08Speaker 4: got college football tonight, we got college football tomorrow, Allday, Saturday.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Come on, people, it is time to go to the
- 28:15Speaker 4: store and load up on dose segies and start icing
- 28:18Speaker 4: that beer down for the weekend. Go for dose, drink responsibly,
- 28:21Speaker 4: do sekies.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Pasha, sweat me, swoom me, stupid Tiger's turn talkers. This
- 28:54Speaker 1: is off the bench.
- 29:00Speaker 10: Suplie c s I.
- 29:14Speaker 4: All right, welcome back in O TV one, O four
- 29:17Speaker 4: five ESPN bet rouge Before I tell you about this

- 30:24Speaker 4: some vitamins, get ready, feel better. Go full levy.
- 30:28Speaker 2: All right, so real quick before we dive back into
- 30:32Speaker 2: the matchup. We're all going to be watching.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I know you do not love how they identify the
- 30:39Speaker 3: star position, correct, I mean I think we all know that.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Had you did? I say that a couple times? Got it?
- 30:47Speaker 3: How do you feel about the starting eleven for Alabamason?
- 30:51Speaker 4: I don't like them. I don't like any one of them.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Okay, you ready for the positions. They've got something that
- 30:56Speaker 3: are normal, all right. We got defensive end nos tackle
- 31:01Speaker 3: better be creative names, at least defensive tackle. We've got
- 31:06Speaker 3: Mike linebacker. You've got your corners, your safeties, you're free
- 31:11Speaker 3: and strong, and you got another corner. All right, So
- 31:13Speaker 3: those are all normal. We've also got Wolf, Sting and Husky.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Sure you do. Why wouldn't you so? Husky? For he's
- 31:26Speaker 4: at Washington? Where was he? What was the mascot before? Yeah?
- 31:29Speaker 2: But this is this is Kane Wolmoc.
- 31:31Speaker 3: He was the head coach of South Alabama as a
- 31:34Speaker 3: defensive coordinator. So we have a Wolf, a Sting, and
- 31:38Speaker 3: a Husky. That's in the official depth chart.
- 31:43Speaker 4: They are officially based on that. Based on the limited
- 31:48Speaker 4: knowledge I have on Alabama's defense at this point in
- 31:51Speaker 4: the season, they will one d be the worst defense
- 31:55Speaker 4: in the SEC. I don't think they're pretty weak. It
- 31:59Speaker 4: will this year. Their sting is a transfer. He hadn't played.
- 32:05Speaker 4: What's the other one, Husky elephant the husky. Ah, that's
- 32:11Speaker 4: a walk on guy.
- 32:13Speaker 3: They still were Husky jeans growing up. He's a little husky,
- 32:18Speaker 3: little baby fat. I actually think so husky. So what
- 32:23Speaker 3: are those positions? Do you think are those ends in
- 32:26Speaker 3: a quote unquote star? Yeah, I think Husky's a dB.
- 32:31Speaker 3: DeShawn Jones is the starting Husky six foot ninety pound dB.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Just like, just take a step back and just like,
- 32:42Speaker 4: look at how stupid that sounded. Starting Husky. Yeah he
- 32:47Speaker 4: started sting this week? Oh dad, wont to starting sting position?
- 32:54Speaker 4: What we sent you there to play football?
- 33:00Speaker 7: Uh?
- 33:00Speaker 2: Reporting the news? I want to get your thoughts on it.
- 33:04Speaker 4: Wow, how about the you high team? What positions they got?
- 33:14Speaker 4: You're playing sting? Husky?
- 33:15Speaker 3: You know, I don't even know cub my some plays
- 33:17Speaker 3: nose tackle. That's all I know. Runs in the family.
- 33:21Speaker 3: I was a nose guard for a while. Yeah you are, Yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 3: m that don't wore Husky jeans.
- 33:30Speaker 4: I know what what was the year you stopped playing
- 33:33Speaker 4: after your junior year.
- 33:36Speaker 3: We're Week one, We're playing at Longview, Texas team in
- 33:40Speaker 3: your district. Uh, it was hotter than hot. We had
- 33:43Speaker 3: like multiple guys cramp up. And I was playing nose
- 33:47Speaker 3: guard that game. And then they were like, we need
- 33:49Speaker 3: you to come on over. We're just gonna direct snap
- 33:52Speaker 3: it to you and run zone.
- 33:54Speaker 4: And that ran for over like two hundred that game,
- 33:56Speaker 4: and then never played nose guard again. There you go,
- 34:01Speaker 4: what could have been? They would have never switched. You
- 34:04Speaker 4: could have been you could have been our well, you
- 34:07Speaker 4: could have been right next right next to GLENDORSEA.
- 34:09Speaker 2: I am pretty sure.
- 34:11Speaker 4: I'm a pretty confident person, but I'm pretty sure that
- 34:14Speaker 4: if I was playing nose guard, I would have probably
- 34:17Speaker 4: been at a group of six school. I don't know, man,
- 34:20Speaker 4: I don't you. You didn't have a lot of stars
- 34:23Speaker 4: to begin with. I should have been the same.
- 34:25Speaker 3: It's very fair. Yeah, but still i'd have been a
- 34:28Speaker 3: mean sun belt. No, you were a really good glue guy. Yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 3: a good defensive tackle glue guy. Maybe a wolf position.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 34:38Speaker 3: And uh, before anybody corrects me, it is a group
- 34:40Speaker 3: of six now that is the official term change this year.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Now the PAC twelve is considered to be in the
- 34:46Speaker 2: group of six.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Things used to be used to be the Power five
- 34:50Speaker 3: and the group of five, the PAC twelve dropped off,
- 34:53Speaker 3: and so now the PAC twelve is with the group,
- 34:56Speaker 3: so it's a group of six and the power.
- 34:57Speaker 4: For O'Brian in the chat here said there's only a
- 35:02Speaker 4: thirty chance of rain on Saturday. I'm assuming he's talking
- 35:06Speaker 4: about in Clemson, South Carolina. So we haven't even discussed
- 35:11Speaker 4: the potential of how we feel this game plays out.
- 35:15Speaker 4: If it's wet. Who would that favor I think's got
- 35:23Speaker 4: a running back. I don't think that's I don't think
- 35:25Speaker 4: that's up for debate. Based on last year alone, it
- 35:28Speaker 4: favors Clemson because their running game was weird.
- 35:32Speaker 3: I was about to ask what their Q run. Yeah,
- 35:34Speaker 3: but that running film off is not there. So their
- 35:37Speaker 3: running back has four career carries convert out.
- 35:39Speaker 4: I'm just talking about straight like I know.
- 35:41Speaker 3: That laid the schematic side's going to ls.
- 35:45Speaker 4: She is going to be more dynamic in the running
- 35:47Speaker 4: game this year. But I'm just saying, this is an
- 35:49Speaker 4: opening game, so we have to base this on what
- 35:51Speaker 4: we saw last year, and we were not dynamic in
- 35:53Speaker 4: the running game Clemson was they have an extra element.
- 35:57Speaker 4: Of course, with if club Nicks back, he does have
- 36:00Speaker 4: that element. Garrett doesn't necessarily have that element. I know
- 36:03Speaker 4: we'll probably see a little bit more eagerness out of
- 36:06Speaker 4: him this year, but it's it's not who he is.
- 36:09Speaker 4: It's not his strength. That's certainly that is one of
- 36:13Speaker 4: the reasons why Klebnik is good. He would not be
- 36:16Speaker 4: as good of a passer if he didn't have that.
- 36:20Speaker 4: I mean, he's not as good of a passer as
- 36:21Speaker 4: Garrett us myayer. He doesn't have the arm talent at
- 36:24Speaker 4: he has got great arm talent, and he's a good
- 36:26Speaker 4: accurate He's a very accurate passer. He's just not a
- 36:29Speaker 4: seer of the field, read everything out like. He's more
- 36:32Speaker 4: of like a one two type guy. His feet get
- 36:34Speaker 4: a little happy if he's going one two, three, four,
- 36:37Speaker 4: checkdown like. He's just that he doesn't he hadn't developed
- 36:40Speaker 4: that part of his game enough yet. Now when he
- 36:42Speaker 4: decides and he's very confident where he's going with the ball,
- 36:45Speaker 4: he's extremely accurate and throws the ball. Well, he's just
- 36:48Speaker 4: not that guy yet. Now he could maybe this year,
- 36:52Speaker 4: Like he makes the jump makes that jump as a passer.
- 36:57Speaker 4: But yeah, if it does rain, I think certainly that
- 37:00Speaker 4: favors cleansing, all right, I mean the Q run stuff. Yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 4: I mean that's it's a good point. I mean that's
- 37:06Speaker 4: not something you have. So they have more diversity in
- 37:09Speaker 4: the run game. Now we've we've been told that LSU
- 37:12Speaker 4: is going to have more.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Yeah now, and I might even try and be funny,
- 37:14Speaker 3: like you you have to you can't do what you
- 37:17Speaker 3: did a year ago.
- 37:18Speaker 2: I think they learned that well.
- 37:19Speaker 4: And based on the l s U like like LSU
- 37:23Speaker 4: is more of a NFL type throw like timing or
- 37:27Speaker 4: throwing seam routes because there's bad leverage by the linebacker
- 37:30Speaker 4: when he went in transitioned from his back pedal to
- 37:33Speaker 4: running running straightforward when he's flipping his hips like Clemson's
- 37:37Speaker 4: more of like play action ARPI a quick hitter here there,
- 37:41Speaker 4: and then my third option is to run the ball.
- 37:44Speaker 4: So it's it's not as much of a quote unquote
- 37:47Speaker 4: pro type offense that relies on just a quarterback being
- 37:51Speaker 4: really good at reading coverages and leverageing and going through
- 37:54Speaker 4: different progressions. So oh see, well we will see. I
- 37:59Speaker 4: know it does help coming out of training camp because
- 38:03Speaker 4: basically the entire training camp quarterbacks do throw wet balls. Yeah,
- 38:07Speaker 4: because it's so hot down here, and like you don't
- 38:10Speaker 4: think about that, but like just from the mechanics of
- 38:13Speaker 4: a practice, like the center's wet, the ref who's spot
- 38:16Speaker 4: in the balls soaking wet, Like everybody's like, so it
- 38:19Speaker 4: is you do get work every day throwing a wet ball. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:24Speaker 4: but it does make a difference.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Yeah, since it's seven forty five and not quite eight,
- 38:27Speaker 3: we call that swamp base swamp booty.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Yeah you don't. I mean it's a it's a billion
- 38:36Speaker 4: degrees outside.
- 38:37Speaker 2: You've dealt with that a lot. I mean, the top
- 38:39Speaker 2: of your hand knows all about it.
- 38:42Speaker 4: Oh gosh, I have like a Brillo pad described the
- 38:49Speaker 4: back of your hand. After practice, just sit there watching
- 38:55Speaker 4: it about seventeen times within an hour. Yeah, shout out
- 38:58Speaker 4: to Brett Helms.
- 38:59Speaker 3: All right, we'll give you the slate of games coming
- 39:02Speaker 3: up here on Thursday night, multiple games that certainly could
- 39:06Speaker 3: be very impactful at the end of the college football season,
- 39:09Speaker 3: and we'll do it here on OTV. Off the bench,

- 41:08Speaker 4: This song was popping on one of two seven to
- 41:11Speaker 4: plays back in Tyland, Texas.

- 41:25Speaker 4: rotation on that independent radio station in Talent, Texas. Stuart Up.
- 41:31Speaker 4: No commercials, just twelve songs on loop. Also want to
- 41:36Speaker 4: be a baller shot Paulo.
- 41:43Speaker 2: That's that might have to be played now.
- 41:45Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, let's look at the slate coming up tonight.
- 41:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna quickly roll through these games, and I want
- 41:51Speaker 3: everybody to pick the game that they're going to be
- 41:53Speaker 3: eye hustling the most. All Right, we got Boise State
- 41:57Speaker 3: at South Florida, You've got Ohio at Rutgers. You've got
- 42:02Speaker 3: East Carolina at North Carolina State, Jacksonville State at UCF.
- 42:09Speaker 3: You've got Wyoming at Akron. Don't think you might have
- 42:13Speaker 3: spick in that one, Saint Francis at Louisiana, Monroe, Central
- 42:18Speaker 3: Arkansas at MISSOI, You've got Elon at Duke, Buffalo at Minnesota,
- 42:26Speaker 3: Nebraska and Cincinnati in Arrowhead, Miami of Ohio at Wisconsin.
- 42:37Speaker 4: Talking about Mahomes Junior, I.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Actually think Nebraska Cincinnati might be the play here.
- 42:44Speaker 8: I was just wondering why it's being played in Narrowhead.
- 42:46Speaker 8: It's god of a random spot.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Huh Well, Travis Kelce Cincinnati tie.
- 42:53Speaker 8: Yeah, because I was just saying a lot of I
- 42:55Speaker 8: feel like a lot of college games aren't played there.
- 42:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 42:59Speaker 3: Ken just had a place in James there last year
- 43:00Speaker 3: because their stadium was being renovated.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. It's a Narrowhead though.
- 43:07Speaker 8: Dylan Rayola, though, said that he cannot control that he
- 43:10Speaker 8: looks like Patrick.
- 43:11Speaker 2: He was born with his face.
- 43:13Speaker 4: I can't control that he was born with the exact
- 43:15Speaker 4: same haircut, and.
- 43:19Speaker 6: The number.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Those are out of his control.
- 43:27Speaker 7: Tibo had a really funny tweet about that. He was like,
- 43:29Speaker 7: this is gonna be what I say every time I
- 43:31Speaker 7: get caught doing something that I'm doing on purpose, like
- 43:35Speaker 7: I can't do I can't control it.
- 43:37Speaker 2: I'm going.
- 43:39Speaker 6: God made me this way.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Frankenstein like, no, bro.
- 43:45Speaker 6: You want to be Patrick Mahomes.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:47Speaker 5: Also, you gotta play better if you're gonna dress like
- 43:50Speaker 5: you got you gotta.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Actually, he played pretty well last year for being a
- 43:53Speaker 3: true freshman. So I went to I might go East
- 43:58Speaker 3: Carolina n C State East year line to beat in
- 44:00Speaker 3: C State last year. N C State needs to really
- 44:04Speaker 3: have a strong season. They are the team that always
- 44:07Speaker 3: is like right there, then they never get over the hump.
- 44:09Speaker 3: They've never really gotten over it, like whatever their expectation is.
- 44:14Speaker 3: And I always here. So I deal with a lot
- 44:16Speaker 3: of ACC people over on off campus and they tell
- 44:18Speaker 3: me how great Carter Finley Stadium is.
- 44:22Speaker 2: You can't lose to East Carolina two years in a row.
- 44:25Speaker 4: Yeah, I was, actually I was thinking about going with
- 44:29Speaker 4: that one. Let's say at four thirty, the only team
- 44:34Speaker 4: that is on the OTB Top twenty five, tease it
- 44:38Speaker 4: up number twenty five Boise State traveling playing in South
- 44:42Speaker 4: Florida always interesting when when you have those Western teams, Northwest,
- 44:48Speaker 4: Northern teams. Yeah, Northeast teams come early in August or
- 44:54Speaker 4: early September and playing the South always kind of interesting
- 44:57Speaker 4: to see how they're going to handle it, because you
- 44:58Speaker 4: can practice for it, you can mentally prepare for it,
- 45:01Speaker 4: but we all know, like once, you can't praice it
- 45:06Speaker 4: until you just gotta feel it because you get punched
- 45:08Speaker 4: in the ft. They're gonna walk off that plane and
- 45:10Speaker 4: get punched in the face with humidity, yeah, and heat,
- 45:12Speaker 4: and it's gonna make a big difference. It's gonna you know,
- 45:15Speaker 4: it can be a game changer.
- 45:16Speaker 2: It's gonna be in the oven.
- 45:17Speaker 4: They're still gonna win because they are gonna finish twenty
- 45:19Speaker 4: fifth ranked team in the country when it's back in February.
- 45:24Speaker 2: All right, a Landra, which.
- 45:25Speaker 7: Game am I watching or are they any No?
- 45:29Speaker 2: No, just watching any of those? Do anything for you?
- 45:32Speaker 7: Nebraska, Cincinnati, Yeah, that's brilliant. I mean we all go
- 45:36Speaker 7: to Texas Steven Steven f Austin, Houston.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Oh, there you go, there you go.
- 45:41Speaker 6: Houston always has like a little something to it.
- 45:44Speaker 3: But all right, well, juice, also watch Saint Francis Uel
- 45:47Speaker 3: Monroe three on eight through on great, let's go see Warhawks.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Let's go baby, We'll be back. Number two ot be
- 45:54Speaker 2: off the bench war Hawks all Right.
