- 0:13Now let's get to this week's show.
- 0:23My wallet is sobbing. I can hear it.
- 0:25I can hear it in the hall. Now it is breaking down crying.
- 0:34It turns out that Attila the arrogant so and so he's got a
- 0:38fake hammer. Oh.
- 0:40A fake? Whoa.
- 0:42As I say, Dick. Stonehenge, Mary Celeste.
- 0:52The Bermuda Triangle, The Construction of the pyramids,
- 0:56The Loch Ness Monster. Malaysian Air Flights 370.
- 1:02The Ark of the Covenant. The Holy Grail, Gone Girl, The
- 1:07Da Vinci Code, Dolly Parton, Still looking about 25.
- 1:11Simon Cowell's hair. They're all big mysteries.
- 1:15And now we have the mysteries of mythos.
- 1:19How we doing, boys? Malcolm, how are you?
- 1:22I'm all good, all good. You weren't prepared for that,
- 1:25were you? OK.
- 1:27It was very good. I like that couple of beers
- 1:30after work to lubricate the wheels and I've had a bike to
- 1:33eat and I am ready and raring to go.
- 1:35Oh, so we're going to get some troop bombs tonight then, is
- 1:38that it? That's it.
- 1:41Same punk all the way. And Rich, after nearly
- 1:44destroying yourself in the fish tank, how are you?
- 1:47I'm. I'm good, thank you.
- 1:48Like Mal, I've had a couple of beers, so that's always a good
- 1:50start as I'm ploughing through Stargate SG-1 at the moment too.
- 1:54John, I think you find the mysteries of the pyramids were
- 1:56that they were landing sites for gold spaceships.
- 2:00It's been clearly explained series, so come on.
- 2:03OK, sorry. Well, you know, I just looked up
- 2:07various mysteries, you know, because I'm not that intelligent
- 2:10to know all them off the top of my head, So I didn't look too
- 2:13much further. Google says it's a mystery.
- 2:15So I'm good with that. I'm probably even good with
- 2:21Wikipedia, you know. So we had, we had an interesting
- 2:27little, I don't sorry Rich, tell the listeners about your fish
- 2:31tank drama here, oh, before the show.
- 2:34It's I've got to bore people now, but I'm no relatively small
- 2:39fish tank. There's a small opening in the
- 2:41top that you put the food in. I've got sinking food to make
- 2:46sure it doesn't bloat the fish. I've got a like a dessert spoon
- 2:50that I scooped some water up with.
- 2:52Drop the food on that, let it soften up, then just tip the
- 2:54spoon. Food goes in the tank.
- 2:56Fish are happy. I had the tank going for about
- 2:5820 months now and for the first time ever I dropped the spoon in
- 3:01the tank. There was fish going in all
- 3:04directions. I'm pretty sure I probably
- 3:06squashed a a shrimp or two, demolished one of my plants and
- 3:11because it's such a tiny small opening in the lid then I had to
- 3:14set the whole lid off the tank to to retrieve the spoon poof up
- 3:18the the plant, etcetera, etcetera.
- 3:21It's. Yeah.
- 3:22Bit of a disaster and was there any, was there any fish going
- 3:25through the sitting room then after you took the lid off or?
- 3:27No, as far as I'm aware, nobody jumped.
- 3:29I mean, I think the smell in a couple of days will give away if
- 3:32that's not the case. But yeah, no, they they're,
- 3:36they're all in there. So, but yeah, I mean, I'm so
- 3:38clumpy, as I've said on this show before now, where I've
- 3:40fainted and fallen, etcetera, that, you know, it's a miracle
- 3:43it took twenty months for it to happen.
- 3:44Well, let's see next week. If if all the fish are still
- 3:47intact, I'm sure we'd be. My I have my fingers crossed for
- 3:51the little fishes, you know. Are you going?
- 3:54But as I said, in 20 months and since, yeah, but yeah.
- 3:59As I said when you told me that first, you've spent twenty
- 4:04months absolutely immaculately feeding the fish, so you should
- 4:07feel proud of that. Exactly, yeah.
- 4:09You know, 5 minutes before recording a podcast is not
- 4:12ideal. Time to to mess it up, yeah.
- 4:14It's yeah, not ideal, but it's very much it's.
- 4:18Very much on brand for Richard Jones, no.
- 4:21We should do this as a competition for our listeners.
- 4:23Before the spoon incident, I had 28 fish in the tank.
- 4:26How many do people think I'm going to have tomorrow?
- 4:32Help 20. 7 1/2 Yeah. Oh my dear, dear.
- 4:41Anyway, I'll give you more. I'll give you more ammunition to
- 4:43get a bigger tank in the future. I'll say to my wife was like,
- 4:45but with a bigger tank I could just roll the lid back and not
- 4:47to worry about taking off and making a mess.
- 4:51Yeah, there's always, there's always a bigger stuff, you know,
- 4:56But will it take up the room for more figures?
- 5:00No, it'll actually go in the same space as the current tank.
- 5:02There's lots of Spacey the side at the moment.
- 5:04Take up the room where the gerbils are.
- 5:07No, when the the. Fish are nice and quiet, you
- 5:10know. They are.
- 5:11No, we've we've already said because our gerbils are both
- 5:14quite elderly that when they go we get 40 God, like we had, we
- 5:20had four originally in this lot. So you'll have 4 gerbils making
- 5:23a noise, John so. Furiously searches for audio
- 5:27plugins to get rid of speaking noise from the track right?
- 5:33Anyway, people have had enough of that now.
- 5:36I guess at this stage they want to know what we think of the
- 5:39blind boxes, the mystery of mythos.
- 5:42So that's what was revealed, the blind boxes.
- 5:45And I'll be very straight up and say that immediately when I saw
- 5:50this I sent a message and said no, not for me, no, that wasn't
- 5:55typically did from being for anyone else.
- 5:57And I know there's loads of other good stuff coming up, but
- 6:01that was my starting point. So let's see where we get to by
- 6:04the end of this. And I think Mal, you're more Mr.
- 6:08Positive on this. You know you you are generally
- 6:11the more +1 in the group. Yeah, I mean, I would say mixed
- 6:14feelings, which again we can go more into as we go and still.
- 6:24But you were. You were definitely.
- 6:25Trying to I was less the Cliff. Yeah, I was less negative as we.
- 6:29Were chatting about. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:31Yeah. And you're rich.
- 6:34A bit mixed as well, really. I'm a fan of mystery boxes in
- 6:36general, so that that respect is quite cool.
- 6:41I won't be getting where's the fence sound effect.
- 6:47I've got virtual the figures, so I probably won't be getting any
- 6:49myself, but yeah, I think, you know, we'll discuss it.
- 6:52But for some people it's a great thing.
- 6:54Some people it's not a great thing.
- 6:56I mean, I'm not sure either way it's worth some of the comments
- 6:58on the cabal in the last day or so.
- 7:00Oh no, the, you know, there has obviously been a lot of
- 7:05overboard and we might get into a little bit of that and right,
- 7:09let's bring it up here for ourselves.
- 7:10And obviously our YouTube watchers go to YouTube if you'd
- 7:13like to see our smiling faces and some of the images.
- 7:18It's not. It's not essential.
- 7:21We still do it like the old podcast.
- 7:23But but yeah, you get to see us and some people like to get to
- 7:30consume on YouTube. So we'd like to satisfy that
- 7:35part of the market, hey. And.
- 7:37Get my daughter to make a ballot.
- 7:39If I can put it behind me here saying join our Patreon, it's
- 7:42great value. Oh, there you go.
- 7:44Yeah, my wife on the front of the episode saying, you know,
- 7:48join our Patreon and we'll have your daughter making banners.
- 7:52Come on now, step up to the plate.
- 7:55Sad, lonely. Malcolm sat and he's flat, just
- 7:58playing with himself. And I mean, it's toys.
- 8:01He's so nice and afraid. Oh man, no.
- 8:06Your neighbors downstairs sounded quite lively earlier.
- 8:08Malma, get him to get involved? Not in that sort of.
- 8:11That sounds really good, isn't it?
- 8:13I don't know. It'd be like I join our Patreon,
- 8:14but that's not really worth it. Don't bother, you still get the.
- 8:18Everybody you want to listen to, just listen through the way of
- 8:22the wall. If you want to hear me, don't.
- 8:27There you go. If you don't want to join our
- 8:28Patreon, just bug Malcolm's house and.
- 8:35Right. It's not so interesting, I
- 8:36promise. Here's what we got revealed and
- 8:39oh, I never corrected the date on this picture.
- 8:41I should have. Uh, so it is the 22nd of April.
- 8:45UH 2024. So next Monday after you listen
- 8:49to this, hopefully Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
- 8:52UH Although judging from analytics, nobody listens.
- 8:55Sir Domino's to podcast on Sunday early.
- 8:58There you go. They're all a little bit behind
- 8:59the scenes for you maybe. Or maybe that's just the natural
- 9:04dip, you know, two days after you're releasing episodes, the
- 9:06dip and then it goes back up again.
- 9:08And so, uh, we have a bunch of figures that have been
- 9:15previously released. So that was already fit in what
- 9:19we were talking about a little bit.
- 9:22And they are not All Stars thing threw us off last week and
- 9:26actually really made it more difficult to record.
- 9:29It should have been because we were very much in the zone and
- 9:32then we plowed ahead and I think we got through it.
- 9:35And uh, we did quite well because uh, we'll talk about the
- 9:39specific figures, uh, uh, or at least the ones that we'd find
- 9:42interesting. But first I wanted to bring up
- 9:47this Nostradamus Jones. Here's all the ones that you got
- 9:52right. I'd appreciate the lottery
- 9:55numbers. I'm not a gambling man, but you
- 9:57know, if you told me the right lottery numbers, I'd be willing
- 10:02to put a few quid that direction.
- 10:04So you got. My that Blue Man trumpet, too,
- 10:06if I'd realized there's going to be no alumni and it had to go
- 10:08even more. There's your trumpet, That's
- 10:15true. And we I have.
- 10:17I also have the ones that you didn't or that you that you
- 10:22guessed but didn't get right, which are some cool figures too.
- 10:26But 23 out of 36, I mean that that is a very good hit ratio
- 10:31considering the amount of figures in the line and and what
- 10:35was your logic just for for the listeners again in picking them?
- 10:39So mine was stuff from Soul Spiller backwards.
- 10:42So older stuff. It had to be stuff that hadn't
- 10:47been winning All Star before except for the five of them I
- 10:52once, and it was generally things I didn't think would get
- 10:55a two point O version made on. Yeah, so yeah, so a bunch of
- 11:02some of them, even in the right squares, which was amazing.
- 11:06Back see, Brother Mandibulus is right there in the right square.
- 11:11Look at that. Who else have we got in the
- 11:12right square? Karpetius.
- 11:18He's in the right square. You got to get the vampire in
- 11:20the right square. The shadow of.
- 11:28Shadow of Warrior? No, he doesn't have that.
- 11:29The Ranger, the right Ranger. Yes, yeah.
- 11:32And I think the terrace is in the right place as well.
- 11:36Look at that. The accursed hacknam's in the
- 11:38right place. Phrase in the right places.
- 11:41Yeah, I found it interesting. So somebody did uh question why
- 11:47they were doing uh the doing another haagnon uh because these
- 11:52are a mixture of warehouse finds and umm then actually a run of
- 11:57figures that they did uh to re release and it turns out haagnon
- 12:00was one of the ones that they reran.
- 12:03It's not a warehouse find uh and with the blue haagnon and then
- 12:06Jeremy actually replied to that person saying that they actually
- 12:09had planned this little rerun before the blue haagnon thing
- 12:12became a thing. So that's how long back they had
- 12:15planned this. I don't think the mystery box
- 12:18element maybe was planned that far back I would say, but uh,
- 12:23I'm not uh, you know, I could be told I'm wrong there.
- 12:26So umm, but it doesn't seem to me uh that it would be uh.
- 12:34And here Rich, is the ones that you guessed that we didn't get.
- 12:39Umm, so there was 5 alumni. So that's I think fair enough,
- 12:42no? Yep, Yep.
- 12:46Umm, let's talk about the ones that wouldn't be alumni.
- 12:49So Galleron, that would have been a.
- 12:52Nice galleron, isn't it? Yeah, that would have been one I
- 12:54think to rerun that they would have.
- 12:57Now maybe in the All Star Zoltes he wasn't, uh, as popular when
- 13:03they decided to do this. But at the same time, if you're
- 13:05talking about the mystery box thing, uh, it doesn't really
- 13:10matter, does it? No.
- 13:12And a nice easy part, you know, it's old parts.
- 13:15Just an easy paint, you know, Nice paint, but easy paint.
- 13:18Yeah. So yeah, I'm so surprised that
- 13:21one was annoying. There.
- 13:22Do you know the Crusher? This this has got to be when we
- 13:26get a two point O version of her.
- 13:28Yeah. I think we get a 1.0 size.
- 13:31Do you know? Do you reckon that'd be cool?
- 13:35That would be incredible. Lucretia must be getting a
- 13:38version two of. Her must be.
- 13:39Yeah, I'm. I mean, I'm surprised.
- 13:40I think the original Lucretia is actually a really good figure,
- 13:42so I'd be surprised if a 2.0, But I can't think of any other
- 13:44reason why she's lying there. A version 2.
- 13:47Rich. Now come on, sorry.
- 13:49We have, we have pedants in the listenership.
- 13:53Normally it's me, in fairness, so yeah.
- 13:55Yeah, I was going to say and and among the hosts, Halmer Golden
- 14:00Tooth don't see him getting a version 2, but well.
- 14:05No, I wouldn't have said so. But then if he's not in this,
- 14:08you know what are the chances they're going to have to re
- 14:09release him? Urku I would have said that
- 14:13maybe this was around the time the tactics figures were getting
- 14:16produced and therefore they the Green Orcs was kind of ticked
- 14:19the box. Yeah, Malachi.
- 14:23Who's been up for the who's been up for an All Star before hasn't
- 14:26he? So I pretty mean he just did
- 14:27really badly in that. So the light will was not the
- 14:29demand for. That Malachi cinderhorn would
- 14:34have been the sweet one, I think.
- 14:36Yeah, again, I'll be surprised if you got two point version two
- 14:40of him, but you never know now. There you go.
- 14:45And Faustia. Thank God Faustia wasn't.
- 14:50I'm so relieved to be wrong on that one.
- 14:52The red shield soldier Red shield soldier seems to be OK.
- 14:56Most people are like him, but there is people that don't like
- 14:58him because of the slim torso and the massive helmet.
- 15:04And I must admit, I'm not super fussed by Yeah, yeah, I forgot
- 15:09him. I wouldn't mind, but wouldn't
- 15:12necessarily pick him, you know. Yeah, he goes for a price that
- 15:15goes for around. About $100 at the moment, so.
- 15:18I'd love. I'd love.
- 15:20I like the figure. But I do think a shiny or silver
- 15:23would be cool. Or a gold version of the be good
- 15:27or bronzers, I don't know. That would have been sweet.
- 15:30Little repaint the Sr. gallery on colors.
- 15:33Red Shield Soldier, that would. Be cool, Yeah.
- 15:39So these are the ones. Thought not being picked as well
- 15:42that that must mean we're getting a 2.0.
- 15:44Version two. Yeah, yeah version.
- 15:46Sorry. Oh my goodness.
- 15:47Mate, yeah, you've been drinking 2.0 beer.
- 15:52I've had, I've. Had beers and I get over the
- 15:54fish tanks. Dresser.
- 15:55Bear with me, listeners. Bear with the viewers.
- 15:57Bear with. Me.
- 15:59All good, All good and good. So then we have the ones that
- 16:04you didn't pick that came up and we can maybe quickly go through
- 16:09them. So thank you, Joe.
- 16:11Well, to be honest, I had it for last week and I thought I
- 16:15couldn't think of anything more funnier, so just left it.
- 16:18And Shadow Elf Soldier, is it that.
- 16:25I suppose you were just thinking, if they're going to do
- 16:27the Shadow of Ranger, they probably won't do this guy.
- 16:29That was my thinking. Yeah, it was one or the other.
- 16:31And the Rangers call the figure. And I think one of them is a
- 16:35warehouse find as far as I believe.
- 16:37Yeah. So.
- 16:40I think it's that's a soldier. I think if I remember right, at
- 16:43least the warehouse and thump, yeah.
- 16:48Yeah. Again, he's a new figure.
- 16:52So I think he was just outside the timeline.
- 16:54I was looking at sort of things that way.
- 16:56Same little organ. Look at our little picture.
- 16:59It's the other one. It's the shadow Elf Rangers The
- 17:02warehouse find. Oh.
- 17:04There you go. Yeah, yeah, I'll just put that
- 17:07up quickly. These are the.
- 17:08We'll get to these, but these are the rerun ones.
- 17:11So the Shadow Elf Ranger is the. Oh no, they're both.
- 17:14No, they're both. Yeah.
- 17:17Oh, they're both on the rerun. There you go.
- 17:19Was that because of Manisha? Cinderhorn?
- 17:23Maybe and. It's been so long since we had
- 17:26the Shadow Elves too, but they need to come back.
- 17:30And Elf Ranger, yeah, that's a great, that's a great one that
- 17:37they did again. Yeah, he wasn't on my little one
- 17:40side, the Shadow Elf Ranger, but yes, it's a great figure.
- 17:43So, Godfrey, I don't know why anyone wouldn't just go and
- 17:47order Sir Elijah or in wait. That's why it wasn't on my list.
- 17:51It's like it's just a gold Templar with a plume.
- 17:54To to be honest, for me it's just a piece of bio card and the
- 18:03Templar Legion builder, you know, Now I know some people are
- 18:08very particular about this thing and absolutely I think that's
- 18:11good on you, you know, But that seems to be the reason and OK,
- 18:16why not, you know? And again, who knows at what
- 18:19stage they were at when they decided to rerun this.
- 18:21But I think for completist there might be a lot of people that
- 18:24are completist that maybe. But then for a completist the
- 18:28mystery box thing is an absolute torture.
- 18:33Grisha, why didn't you have Grisha?
- 18:36Because Grisha keeps getting goes up for All Star never gets
- 18:39anywhere near it. So I was like, no, it's just OK.
- 18:42It's just not the appeal there. It's funny, isn't it?
- 18:44Because I think he is a warehouse find and yet he's an
- 18:48exceptional figure. Oh, I love it.
- 18:50I agree. One of you like him?
- 18:51Yeah, really great figure. But they just, again, the All
- 18:54Stars. I'm not sure because it's a 2.0
- 18:57build. Got it.
- 18:58Right around that time that people weren't voting Grisha.
- 19:01But yeah, it's a great figure. Yeah, he is a warehouse find, so
- 19:04it'll be unlikely to get him. If you were really in for for
- 19:08Grisha, I mean, you could, but the odds are lower.
- 19:13Frost Bow failing. Frost Bow again, I think that's
- 19:16a warehouse fine. So there's no point in really
- 19:20talking about that. Gonks, that's another no.
- 19:24That is a rerun. So that's interesting.
- 19:28That's a great paint job and we're always in the customizer
- 19:33bubble. If you're not a customizer, this
- 19:36is like, how could someone do a paint job like that?
- 19:39It's literally that kind of a paint job.
- 19:41So I completely understand the appeal of this figure
- 19:44standalone. You know if you'd look at him
- 19:46and the Goblin Deluxe Legion Builder which is a similar build
- 19:49now, slightly different Baldrins and few things but the paint job
- 19:54on this guy would blow your socks compared to the Yeah, he's
- 19:57also Legion builder so I can totally understand and I love
- 20:02him as well and I'm a customizer and I still go wow, I love that
- 20:05Rusty from the factory paint job and if you if you have two of
- 20:10him. They're both going to be
- 20:12slightly different, which is sweet because it's still a
- 20:15class. You know it still works.
- 20:17And as a spirit Bender. So again, one that they she
- 20:22wanted, no, this is a warehouse. Fine, so the fine.
- 20:25Yeah, yeah, it was between her and Balaam.
- 20:27And I was always going to put Balaam in because he's one of my
- 20:29favorite figures, so. Yeah, he got us.
- 20:32We can ship as well to skip as well because that was a
- 20:35warehouse find and I kind of that.
- 20:38Figure bugs me because why I really would love an eagle.
- 20:44But that Paint app is horrible and nothing against the fact
- 20:49that it's like US sort of tribute kind of thing.
- 20:52It's but it's it's far more garish and horrible than any
- 20:57Masters tribute. It's horrendous.
- 21:01Yeah, I don't really consider it a legion.
- 21:03A mythic legions figure as such for me.
- 21:06No. And the wings.
- 21:07I mean, unless you desperately want to go miracle and you know
- 21:11you're not going to display those wings, are you not?
- 21:14Particularly, umm, Red Shield soldiers when they did do a
- 21:19rerun of and there is. Really surprised by this one he
- 21:24he didn't get much longer time but he goes for a decent price
- 21:28like see why that would generate.
- 21:29Yeah, I think it's a lot of chatter regularly.
- 21:32People go he's a good one or we shout him and that sort of.
- 21:35Thing. Yeah, And then Ragnar and the
- 21:37Vampire Knight are their warehouse fines.
- 21:41So, OK, fair enough. Reagan had to be.
- 21:44There's no way they'd remade. Ragnar, I love her.
- 21:47I think she's a great little figure.
- 21:51Even Eric doesn't like her Melanie Sculpt.
- 21:53I know. Jim has Jim has on multiple
- 21:57occasions said it's his favorite figure.
- 21:59Jim Brazil see from Oh, really so.
- 22:01I've not heard that, OK? Yeah, So she's great.
- 22:04She's it's it's just what you're into, you know, I don't think as
- 22:09a figure, I don't, I don't think it's a figure.
- 22:13She's particularly bad, but it's just the concept of a female
- 22:18dwarf compared to the Tupac female dwarf, It's clearly the
- 22:22Tupac female dwarf is better from my opinion.
- 22:27Maybe, you know, a shorter female character on the slim
- 22:32body. Cool.
- 22:33You know, and she could have probably done with an unhelmeted
- 22:37head to to elevate the character element right Then this uh, now
- 22:47who who cares? In one way, I don't care really
- 22:49about all the drama on the mythic Allegiance cabal and the
- 22:52groups because it's, you know, I can scroll past it.
- 22:57If I was the Jeremy and I'm the man marketing manager or you
- 23:01know, the people involved, I'd hate to see all that drama.
- 23:05So I think they missed a little trick on the original Rice dream
- 23:08of not revealing these. Now whether that was an
- 23:11oversight or whether that was just, you know, they didn't
- 23:14intend on and then with all the moaning, they decided to just
- 23:19snip it in the bud. I don't know.
- 23:21But for me, this would have been better if they had said here's
- 23:25the ones you have more chance of getting.
- 23:28Well, I said to you. Guys, didn't I suggested this is
- 23:30a topic for tonight? It was like, let's guess which
- 23:32ones they made you, because people are going to want to know
- 23:35that, so. Yeah, and these are all bangers.
- 23:38Like you know, yeah, if if I said to you there's a new
- 23:45pre-order, not even an in stock going up and it's these guys
- 23:51would have been a brilliant reception, I don't think there'd
- 23:55be any complaining. That piece of Sunday's always
- 23:58going to complain. Sure, the big.
- 24:00Complaints, yeah, but you wouldn't have to order it, you
- 24:04know, You know, again, none of these, but you would find 5 or 6
- 24:08figures here that everyone would want.
- 24:12And even the people that are in it for the long time, they would
- 24:15have been able to get multiples of cool bills.
- 24:19And there's multiple figures here that even if you've got
- 24:23them, it's that it wouldn't be bad to have a second one of them
- 24:26for parts or for, you know, whatever reason you want it for,
- 24:30really. Yeah.
- 24:33Now I understand in the back end there's practicalities for Four
- 24:36Horsemen about this. So you know and certainly to
- 24:40have an in stop drop of this amount of figures and satisfy
- 24:43the the the market's probably not going to happen and which is
- 24:47why the mystery box takes a bit of some of that pain away.
- 24:50But I think it introduces other paints for them in terms of
- 24:55customer service and people being upset with what they got.
- 24:58Even if. Because I think even if people
- 25:02are cooled down with the blind box because they still think
- 25:05they're going to get one of the ones they want.
- 25:07And then when they get the figure and then it's easy to
- 25:10say, OK, you can go and trade it for some other.
- 25:11But I'm sorry, if someone gets a good door, they're not going to
- 25:15trade it for a Godfrey. Really.
- 25:18This is very unlikely, you know? Or a hagnon, you know.
- 25:21If somebody gets OK door and they don't want it, it's going
- 25:24to be going up for sale for $150.00 Yeah, let's be honest.
- 25:28Yeah, that's the thing. So that's the shame of this for
- 25:34me. And I understand that you're a
- 25:37new collector and you can instantly get figures into your
- 25:40collection, but at the same time you don't know which ones.
- 25:44And OK, everything is a win. Win, sure, but we still all have
- 25:47preferences. I know you can trade it.
- 25:49OK, maybe if you live in America and not to sound like the money
- 25:52international, but there isn't as big a market for here.
- 25:56And paying. I don't want to pay customs on 2
- 26:00figures. I don't know what they're.
- 26:02Yeah, you know. So that's why now I only need
- 26:07one. If I was a completist, I only
- 26:08really need one figure. This, which is Kador.
- 26:11Nobody has him. Hardly.
- 26:13And Godfrey couldn't care. You know, I do need him as well.
- 26:18But like, I could put a red plume on one of my templars and
- 26:22pretend to have him. And igalas, as I said, don't
- 26:27have him but don't care. So you guys, what do you think?
- 26:34Got rich. I think this is really
- 26:36interesting. The choices they make here, with
- 26:38the making more of them. I mean, if they've made more of
- 26:42these, it means that there's not a version 2 coming of any of
- 26:44these. I think we've discussed Brother
- 26:47Mandibulus before, haven't we? That how cool a figure that is.
- 26:49Anyway, she probably couldn't do an awful lot to improve that.
- 26:53Cador's not a big enough character.
- 26:55Godfrey's certainly not a big enough character.
- 26:58I'm slightly surprised with Snag.
- 26:59I could imagine the 2.0 of Snag. Sorry, version two of Snag, I
- 27:04have to admit, but it's a really good set of figures.
- 27:07Faunus is a fabulous figure. That in itself almost made me
- 27:11think, well, maybe I could go for it, I guess, to get another
- 27:15fauna. She's such a cool figure and I
- 27:17do regress on my Zaria, so she's an excellent one as well.
- 27:19Yeah. So, yeah, I mean, I I, I was
- 27:24like you a little bit drawn my initial thoughts, well, this is
- 27:27excellent for new people, even new international people.
- 27:30Anyone new to the line who hasn't had the opportunity for
- 27:33these, go for it. Excellent.
- 27:36You'll get whatever you get. It's a winner, even warehouse
- 27:39fines, whatever, you know. But then for us older, older
- 27:43collectors, the people who've been in the line a bit longer,
- 27:47more so the international people, it's perhaps going to be
- 27:51too much of A gamble that you'll get something you've already
- 27:55got. And as you say the, the trade,
- 28:02you know, so in the States, yeah, go for it.
- 28:04Flat rate shipping, buy a load you can trade, there's a good
- 28:08trading sort of and they're only, you know, state to state
- 28:12for whatever. So the cost of postage won't be
- 28:15that much more for us. It starts to become difficult.
- 28:19It's well if if the minute we're trading with someone else in
- 28:22another part of Europe, there's quite an additional cost to
- 28:25that. So it's within England for Rich
- 28:28and myself. And yes, there are people and
- 28:32there's more people coming in and we're starting to see that
- 28:35UK group starting to get quite active.
- 28:37But are they going to have what we need?
- 28:42And then you're getting on to, well, I'm just selling it to
- 28:44them and then the cost goes up because of the read, the postage
- 28:50and the potential. You'll end up having to sell it
- 28:53for 60 lbs, say, you know. Thus, yeah, one figure.
- 28:59Just touch and then look at what's available.
- 29:04And as much as I'm one of the people who've been here in a
- 29:06while, I did a few sort of very rough.
- 29:08And it's not 100% right because you'd really need to know
- 29:11quantities of each figure. There's something like a 40%
- 29:14chance from the whole thing of me getting something I don't
- 29:18have, that's don't have. There's a difference in terms of
- 29:22what I would really, really like.
- 29:24And then you look at these reissued ones that there's more
- 29:27chance of getting. And actually 50% of these I
- 29:32need, you know, I don't have and a good few of them, at least two
- 29:36or three of the ones I don't have I would really like.
- 29:40And then, as I say, even the ones I've got, there's 234 that
- 29:46I'd be really, I'd be, I'd be fine with getting a duplicate
- 29:49because, you know, Kador, the one I've got is a bit smoky.
- 29:58Yeah. What's the gladiator chap?
- 30:00You don't get many of the dark skin tone figures, so it'd be
- 30:05great. Who doesn't want, you know,
- 30:10another fury or that's not bad, you know?
- 30:13Oh yeah. I mean, very cool figure.
- 30:15I'll be clear. So I've been in the community a
- 30:17long time. We have a podcast with say this
- 30:19is episode 62. Now I've had loads of good
- 30:24people in America reach out to me with put a couple of comments
- 30:27on that you know, but it's not great for you.
- 30:30We'll so we can we can tip by figures for you and you know
- 30:33sort it out, give it to your Legionscon, ship it over, you
- 30:37know with the lower a lower customs declaration, blah blah
- 30:41blah. And that's brilliant.
- 30:44But I don't want it enough to be bothering with them and for me,
- 30:49but just to acknowledge that there is ways around it and it's
- 30:52cool. Now, if I'm an international
- 30:53that knows nobody and there's no friends in the States, that's a
- 30:59different story. So we look at it from that
- 31:02perspective. And from me, if I was in
- 31:06America, I might punt on a couple, probably more to just
- 31:10have trade base, you know maybe running the jackpot on a couple
- 31:15of the umm, uh, what did you, what are they called warehouse
- 31:20fines? Uh, but at the same time, I
- 31:23think these reruns are probably better than the than the factory
- 31:30Umm, are the warehouse fines are they uh, that's one comparison I
- 31:35didn't do actually. So that's interesting I think.
- 31:38Is there any warehouse fines if we look at the whole group here?
- 31:44I wouldn't mind Fallon, Frost Bow and as a spirit Bender as
- 31:48their house finds the vampire were.
- 31:53Thistle torn to certain crocodile people.
- 31:56The other. One the.
- 31:59Other vampire knight, Vampire knight, Yeah, yeah.
- 32:03Yeah, I like best figure on the line.
- 32:05By the way, Did you two piss out on my amazing joke then?
- 32:09Which was? You did crap, atheist.
- 32:12Oh no, I heard this. Oh, thanks, Malice.
- 32:15Even worse. I just know I heard it was
- 32:17rubbish. Yeah.
- 32:19Completely no. Sold.
- 32:20It for you, just a blank just blanked it.
- 32:22Wow. If for some people Morgel, it of
- 32:28course would would be a great addition to the collection and
- 32:33for you know, as a warehouse find for completing your
- 32:36skeletons. Maybe There might be people.
- 32:38Or, you know, she's a skeleton leader.
- 32:40Until Tarassus turns up, she. Is.
- 32:43And even if you just wanted the children Necronominus, you know
- 32:45there's a good chance you won't have her.
- 32:48Borrier and eh oh, the Queen arc says warehouse find as well.
- 32:53So and Freya. There's some cool warehouse
- 32:57finds as well. King Naglin.
- 32:59Yeah. Did they?
- 33:02Oh they ran 2 goblins. Yeah.
- 33:03OK, Phonus is for me. Phonus is the one if you can get
- 33:07a phonus. OK, let's let's be let's let's
- 33:12do math. Phonus Mandibulus Kador Snag Out
- 33:17of these reissue Chase reissued figures.
- 33:20I think they are the MVPS there for me and.
- 33:25I wouldn't mind having duplicates of them.
- 33:28I would prefer Zaria or Zaria and Snag are the two I would
- 33:32most. Because you don't.
- 33:33You don't have them in your collection, you see.
- 33:35I've got snag but he's he's got dodgy nose so it'd be quite ah,
- 33:39yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think with snag when sorry
- 33:43Rich, go. No, you guys.
- 33:46I think with Snag they could use because I think that face is a
- 33:49is a glued in piece like a you know.
- 33:52So I think they could just redo a different face and recolor
- 33:55that cap and do another goblin with the cap with a different
- 34:00shaped nose and, you know, different expression and that
- 34:04would be just one piece of tooling for them.
- 34:07So I think that's might be where that part goes in the future.
- 34:11Anyway, Rich. I was going to say if I had to
- 34:13pick four of these, I'd really like 8 out of my collection and
- 34:16BT use for multiple customs and that sort of stuff.
- 34:18Maybe Brother Mandibulus, Faunus Zaria and the Shadow Out Ranger.
- 34:24There you go. Lots of there's great.
- 34:26Yeah, 2.0 bodies. For rich, of course.
- 34:33I love my Shadow Elves. This is this is my weakness with
- 34:362.0 is the Shadow Elves. They are the best looking elves
- 34:41and I don't have any of them, so I wouldn't mind if I got them
- 34:44either. You know she's.
- 34:48There, that's true. Yeah.
- 34:50So I think probably of all these, Hagman is the one that we
- 34:55wouldn't like to get. I I like Agnon, and you know I
- 34:59do and of it. But even I I must admit of
- 35:01everything available. I'd be quite disappointed if I
- 35:05got a Agnon. Oh, thank goodness.
- 35:08Here, you said. I've got two of them and then
- 35:11I've got the blue one, so you know.
- 35:14OK, fair. Yeah, I think we have enough
- 35:16agnon these days. And as Curtis Sooner chat with
- 35:21Curtis recently, he said he thinks the Blue 1:00 is way
- 35:25better than the originals. And I agree.
- 35:27With it. Make of that.
- 35:28There you go. And you've got to think very
- 35:30easy. If there's fourteen they made
- 35:32more of, then you're probably going to look at least a 5%
- 35:35chance of getting a Hackney on as your own figure.
- 35:40So it's like, you know, one in 20.
- 35:42It's not the end of the world, but that's still a reasonable
- 35:44chance of you in the net with waste of space.
- 35:51And OK then these are the new figures.
- 35:54Now for me this is the crux of of the mystery box thing is that
- 35:59they have a bunch of figures in the warehouse and yeah, there's
- 36:03people that can't get to shows and can't buy these and they
- 36:06obviously aren't doing online sales, but they need to clear up
- 36:10warehouse space. They need to get rid of these
- 36:12figures rather than doing an in stock sale.
- 36:16They put them up. So great for fans, yes, but
- 36:19maybe fans that don't have them are fans that want more of them.
- 36:24But this is also very much the mystery box thing is very much
- 36:29to get rid of these figures in their inventory, I think.
- 36:33Would we agree with that without kind of, you know, that's one of
- 36:36the mystery box things, you know, that's one of the reasons
- 36:38to run a mystery box thing as a company.
- 36:40Yes. Why?
- 36:42And there's nothing nefarious about that.
- 36:44That's just the facts, like. Yeah, This is why everybody does
- 36:48it. It's like, you know, it's like
- 36:50some of the mystery boxes where they're like the miniature
- 36:53figures and they're they're like ratioed.
- 36:55You know, they could just do one, one in 12, say, and
- 36:58everything. You get one of each thing in a
- 37:00case, but they never do. It's always like, no, we'll make
- 37:02loads and loads of other stuff to make it more, you know, more
- 37:05desirable, but you're going to get duplicates.
- 37:07And it's the same with this. It's like you know you can,
- 37:09there's desirable older figures, but then you might end up with
- 37:11Bryophytus. Well, and also excuse me.
- 37:15Yeah, I could. I could have picked any of
- 37:18these. What will wind them up?
- 37:20The most Bryophytis. Oh, so to be fair, the same
- 37:23situation. Because one thing Jeremy said
- 37:25about part of their thinking about doing this for the older
- 37:30figures, the figures they reproduced, let's call it that,
- 37:34forget what the term they're using is, was.
- 37:37Because of course, as happens if they just put them online for
- 37:40sale, certain more desirable ones sell out ridiculously quick
- 37:46and blah blah. And the same would happen with
- 37:48these, let's face it, the com blank on what he is.
- 37:53The green guy, the. The.
- 37:56Brave Hodges, yeah. No.
- 37:58Yeah, yeah, he'd still be there. Bartrick a week.
- 38:01No, the Bartrick. Bartrick Lord Patrick.
- 38:05No above both. Oh.
- 38:07It's. A learning guard?
- 38:09I guarantee that would sell out in no time.
- 38:11True. If they put these up ball of our
- 38:14probably would sell out pretty quick and.
- 38:17To and This is why they should have put this up in the original
- 38:21stream is that this is softens the blow for people in terms of
- 38:25mystery boxing. They know they will get one of
- 38:27these and they know they will get one of the others.
- 38:30So the and there are from the original announcement we knew we
- 38:34knew 1/2 of the mystery box, now we know the other half.
- 38:38So if you can't live with getting one of these, no matter
- 38:42what of the other figure you get, then you're out, you know,
- 38:44simple, you know, and you move on.
- 38:48Is that fair? Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
- 38:50I mean, no. My look, I'd get hacked on an
- 38:52ASA. You know, I.
- 38:55Was I was going to? Need my head?
- 38:58Against the wall. What What is the Yeah.
- 39:02What is the mother lode of done this that you don't want to get?
- 39:08That would be the most possible combination for me.
- 39:10Yeah, Hagman and and which one Isa?
- 39:13Isa that banana. Yeah, top row or scaphoid for me
- 39:19because I've already got like the old one and then I got the.
- 39:22Old one I have about 5 that I mean I will use the parts,
- 39:28they're great for customs and stuff, but I certainly wouldn't
- 39:33need another one at this point because I've but that's because
- 39:35I've got them. So if you don't have 5 scaffolds
- 39:39in your parts bins, then go for it.
- 39:42He's a very cool figure, but he's not a one.
- 39:44I need multiples often. Yeah.
- 39:46So it's always rich, personal because Tibias I have a load of
- 39:52as well and so probably wouldn't want to get him, I think I'd
- 39:58have to say. Probably, and I love motu, but
- 40:03method or or okie Atos I think would be the ones that I feel
- 40:08least interested in getting to be used for them, but I have.
- 40:13One should be the second one for me.
- 40:15Yeah, I have them as as figures and that's fine.
- 40:18I like them as as figures in the collection, but don't need
- 40:21multiples of them. I really like them, so I
- 40:24wouldn't mind actually those two, OK?
- 40:27See, So that's, that's it. Everybody's different.
- 40:30So exactly that's it. Is.
- 40:31Yeah. Looking at this list.
- 40:32I'd love another Malafar. I need another parabolic of two
- 40:35at some point for a custom. I need the Krotos.
- 40:40You know there are figures on there I'd I'd love to have sort
- 40:42of thing. But yeah, if I ended up with a
- 40:43Kiatos or Azar just be like you know you wouldn't be able to
- 40:47sell either of those for for what you paid the horseman for.
- 40:50So. That you wouldn't be.
- 40:53Unless. So unless you got something you
- 40:54were really over the moon with from the older figures, then
- 40:57yeah, it would be a complete waste.
- 40:59Yeah, exactly. So that's it.
- 41:06I guess the question to ask then to you guys is, are you going to
- 41:10get one or two of these or? Go on, Rich.
- 41:18I'm going to say no, I am a I'm an impulse buyer.
- 41:25I think it's fair to say so I am very tempted.
- 41:28But the two figures is what, $75.00?
- 41:31The shipping to the UK is going to be $40, probably the two
- 41:35figures. It tends to be the same for two
- 41:37or four, so that's $115.00 you now you won't get import duty
- 41:43for that. You'll get an import duty but
- 41:45that's you know that's £100 but two figures you might not want
- 41:49and you might not be able to sell for what you paid for.
- 41:51And then if you go up and go for two mystery boxes, so four
- 41:54figures, then all of a sudden you're getting hit with import
- 41:56duties and it's another $40 on top again and it's it's just not
- 42:00worth the risk. If these if they have some of
- 42:04these leftover at legions con then I'd pick some up, but no,
- 42:09for a mystery box it's just not worth the risk.
- 42:12And. And that's what they'll never
- 42:14say. And I suppose that's fair
- 42:15enough, but especially because that would affect the sales of
- 42:20this particular sale. So you know, they're business
- 42:23people after all, but I would expect some of these might
- 42:27eventually turn up at shows. Yeah, one of the posts, somebody
- 42:32asked will these be Allegiance Call?
- 42:35And Jeremy responded and said there's no guarantees.
- 42:38Yeah. OK.
- 42:38So so that doesn't say there isn't, you know, if you're if
- 42:42you're if you're into politics at all, you know that kind of an
- 42:46answer means. Well, he can't say yes and he
- 42:49can't say no, can he? Because he says yes and they're
- 42:52they're not. He gets it in the neck if he
- 42:54says I. Understand.
- 42:55But he could say. He could say absolutely no,
- 42:59yeah, you know, he should have said.
- 43:00He should have said. Hopefully no, because that means
- 43:02a blind box sales going around. Ready.
- 43:04There you go. Yeah.
- 43:05Yeah. You know, which I think it will
- 43:06to be fair. True.
- 43:08And if this I hope they sell out and then it's over and done, we
- 43:11move on to the next thing because the next thing is going
- 43:13to be for me for sure, umm, but you know if they don't sell out,
- 43:18you know another option for them is to give them to the
- 43:20retailers, you know uh be it a big bad or smaller retailer or
- 43:26spread them out among the retailers depending and and
- 43:30people can get them that way, you know.
- 43:34For me it yeah it's going to come down to the postage cost
- 43:37because as Rich says going beyond one it's stops.
- 43:43It's going to go to a point it's too expensive to to make it
- 43:48worthwhile. So I'll see what the postage is
- 43:50on one I'll make a decision. But realistically being sensible
- 43:55with my finances I've I've bought a lot of stuff this well
- 44:00that's not true. A lot of stuff is of pre-orders.
- 44:03I've come in this month and I have ended up already spending a
- 44:06lot of money, so it might be a blessing in disguise that I
- 44:10don't do this and then I've got money for the next thing.
- 44:15I I keep reminding myself how many figures I've got upstairs
- 44:17that I've got for customs that I haven't put, haven't put
- 44:21together to make the custom. Yeah, and it's like, that's
- 44:23enough to keep me going till Legion's gone.
- 44:24Easy. Oh.
- 44:25Yeah. And then if these are there then
- 44:27you can get. It.
- 44:28So, yeah. So question for you before we
- 44:32stop on these particular figures, this reissued chase
- 44:37figures here that they have. So the ones they reproduced, the
- 44:41current retailer appreciation wave, would you prefer to be
- 44:44this or what it actually is? This in heartbeat.
- 44:50As a mythics fan, I guess that's a tough one, isn't it?
- 44:54That's a tough one because I really, really like that fish or
- 44:57rice. Yes, at the minute I said that I
- 45:00could see your face, but then we wouldn't get fisheries.
- 45:04So yeah, I think he is outstanding, but he's a cosmic,
- 45:09so, you know, maybe there's a lot of terrorize.
- 45:11Somewhere else, yeah. Yeah, I'm a bit a little column,
- 45:16A little column. BI really like the Mali and the
- 45:20Monkey King. The Vike, Skeleton Vike and Fell
- 45:24Warrior. I'd prefer one of these to that,
- 45:27yeah, Yeah. Yeah, I'd, I'd prefer this in a
- 45:31heartbeat. No, that that's not to say of
- 45:35all the complications and logistics behind the scenes that
- 45:38the Four Horsemen would have to do as a manufacturer and all
- 45:41that. So I don't care about that.
- 45:45That's their problem and obviously they're not doing it
- 45:47that way. So it's obviously something that
- 45:49they decided against, but just from a fan point of view, you
- 45:54know it's interesting to see would you prefer this as the
- 45:56retailer appreciation wave or what we got, that's an
- 46:00interesting one. Yeah, that's an interesting
- 46:03anyone who listens or whatever, be interested in your thoughts.
- 46:07Absolutely. Yeah.
- 46:08Because we're sitting here, you, me, John saying I'd much prefer
- 46:10this, but then the Force might be thinking, well that would
- 46:13just be another All Star wave, which is our least popular
- 46:15seller. So we don't want to give that to
- 46:17the resellers and then they end up sitting on stock that doesn't
- 46:20go. Yeah.
- 46:21But they could also, they also outsource the risk to the
- 46:25retailer and the retailers don't have, the retailers don't have a
- 46:28risk either in that they have the preorder window that they
- 46:32put it up for. And the retailer's risk is what
- 46:36do they think after looking at the amount of figures that
- 46:40people order off them. So say out of this bunch, right.
- 46:44Say they get 20% of their total lawyers or fewer Yorks.
- 46:50OK. Out of all these figures as a
- 46:52retailer, what are you going to do?
- 46:54Well you're going to maybe bump another 10% of few York's into
- 46:57your order aren't you? It's not even a risk you know
- 47:01for a retailer if you're smart. So I don't I now are you telling
- 47:07me these wouldn't sell more than you know you've got what is it
- 47:11UH-14 figures here that a retailer can make their mark
- 47:16upon and they can put them up for a month to get preorders to
- 47:21get an idea of what the market is for them?
- 47:23There's multiple legion builders here as well, not legal
- 47:27builders. Army builders anyway, you know.
- 47:32And again, as I say, I'm saying this purely as a idealist.
- 47:37And you know what I'd like? But very interesting to hear
- 47:42what other people would like. And obviously these are not real
- 47:46scenarios, but these are scenarios that could have
- 47:48happened, you know, in another if further choices were made.
- 47:53Just interesting to see what people prefer.
- 47:55And if they sell out of the blind boxes, maybe it doesn't
- 47:58matter what whether people would have preferred one or the other,
- 48:01they still sold them. We move on to the next thing.
- 48:03And I guarantee you the next thing is probably going to be so
- 48:06awesome that we won't even remember this.
- 48:07The only reason we'll remember is because we did an episode on
- 48:09that. That's the thing, isn't it?
- 48:11It's a case of do you spend the money now and get something hand
- 48:14in hand which you may or may not want, or did you save the money
- 48:16and go well? It'd be a really cool pre-order
- 48:18of something brand new in a month's time.
- 48:20And yes, I'll have to wait to get it, but I can spend the
- 48:23money there, yeah. So one other thing, right?
- 48:28I just wanted to talk about this, so I googled What's the
- 48:31pros and cons of blind boxes? Came on this site.
- 48:37It's called. Wow.
- 48:41Well it's well if you do your own research when someone else
- 48:43has done it for you. So this is big brand wholesale
- 48:46Michigan company. They used to do loads of blind
- 48:48boxes. So the first Pro is a fantastic
- 48:50way to liquidize merchandise. Being a slow seller, slow seller
- 48:53doesn't mean bad or junk, you know, whatever.
- 48:56OK uh, a lot of these, uh doesn't really apply to legions.
- 49:03Uh, people love variety. Sure.
- 49:06You know, people are often indecisive, so they'd like
- 49:08someone else to make the choice. Yeah.
- 49:10If you were a new collector, you wouldn't maybe know which one,
- 49:12you know. And that's interesting.
- 49:14People love mysteries and surprises.
- 49:16Yeah, people love the buzz from it, you know, And this is, for
- 49:19me, a plus or a minus, because if you are a impulsive, maybe,
- 49:23eh, very addictive person, this could be something you might
- 49:27overstretch yourself on, you know?
- 49:28So because you want to get that buzz from the mystery box, now
- 49:32thankfully does it. Thankfully there is a mostly
- 49:38good secondary market, so if you realize you've overstretched
- 49:41yourself, you'd probably be able to get most of your money back.
- 49:44Whereas maybe on other types of mystery boxes where you get lots
- 49:47of Tash might not be the case. Cons.
- 49:50So, and this is all that this is looking from the perspective of
- 49:54the company. So it doesn't matter how many
- 49:58post photos you post. People will look at the photos,
- 50:01see specific items they want and plan on getting them.
- 50:04When the item doesn't arrive, they're livid.
- 50:06There you go. So there will be a certain court
- 50:08people, as I said, you know the first, your version of this is a
- 50:13stellar mystery box is going to be different than the buyer's
- 50:16opinion. OK.
- 50:17And it doesn't, the facts almost don't matter here.
- 50:20It's what the customer thinks. Isn't this the customer always
- 50:24right thing, you know. So they will have a little bit
- 50:28of customer service, customer perception thing just from this
- 50:33whole mystery box process because it is something that
- 50:37tends to polarize people in different directions, you know.
- 50:42So it is a risk for them just doing it from that perspective,
- 50:46you know? Yeah, I think based on the
- 50:50feedback we've seen on the Cabal, some people clearly are
- 50:52very angry about it. Yeah, and don't appreciate.
- 50:55And so people are already like. You're going to favor this
- 50:59person and that person? Oh yeah, seriously.
- 51:03The first like the first, umm fairly high profile either like
- 51:09you know someone that's on a YouTube show or somebody that's
- 51:12a very well known customers that that gets one of the rare cases
- 51:17is there is going to be a code people that go favoritism.
- 51:20So that sucks for the horsemen and sucks for, you know, the
- 51:24community in general, because I'm sure, yeah, they they won't
- 51:29do that. But it's what the Horsemen
- 51:31people will think. What the Horsemen need to do,
- 51:33and here's my old man Kyle, here's a Run your business
- 51:37speech, is get the staff who are picking the figures, Blindfold
- 51:42them. Just push them towards a big
- 51:45pile of mixed up boxes. They pick 1-2 wherever many
- 51:49persons bought, hand them somebody else, and then packs
- 51:51them up and film yourself doing it.
- 51:53So there's no chance of bias where it's like, look, here we
- 51:56are, here's our blindfold pickers.
- 51:57There's no cheating going on here.
- 51:59This will just end up with whoever ends up with.
- 52:01You imagine, like, how long it takes to ship all that stuff.
- 52:05Oh my God, we'll do that for you.
- 52:06It's the middle of connection. And here's the last one.
- 52:12And this is this is a good one as well.
- 52:14No matter how many times you tell them it's a mystery box,
- 52:17they truly do not understand. Because reality is how can you
- 52:22understand a mystery? Think about that.
- 52:28So there you go. I didn't.
- 52:30I thought that was a fair way of maybe talking about it and maybe
- 52:34are an unbiased way, at least from company.
- 52:38So good luck to them. I hope they sell it.
- 52:40And shall we move on from that. We have an awesome listener
- 52:44question to deal with. Let me just pitch you one more,
- 52:47John, before you. Sure.
- 52:49I would just say my final two penneth on this is if you're a
- 52:52new collector, be it in the US or in Europe because you always
- 52:56pay more in Europe or the rest of the world.
- 52:58This is all singing or dancing, a brilliant, brilliant thing for
- 53:01you. If you're in America and you've
- 53:04been a collector for a bit longer than the the $10 flat
- 53:07rate shipping makes it worthwhile with the trades,
- 53:10whatever, whatever. If you're not, you know if
- 53:13you're not a customizer in America, then you probably
- 53:15won't. If you're like us, a more old
- 53:18time collector in in Europe, you won't.
- 53:21So it's very clearly. Yeah, it's very clearly.
- 53:25There's certain group, there's certain groups of collectors
- 53:27which who for this this will be incredible.
- 53:30For others like us it's not. But that's fine.
- 53:33This is the spice of life. This is variety.
- 53:35You know there's certain figures that you boys love for some
- 53:38reason noble, but that I that I'm disparaging of and this this
- 53:42is what makes toy collecting fun.
- 53:44It's just, you know, as long as people keep it respectable and
- 53:46don't start slandering the horsemen and that sort of stuff
- 53:48on the cabal, this you know at the end of the day the toys, no
- 53:51one's forcing you to buy anything.
- 53:52If you don't like it, fine. Leave it at that and.
- 53:57I think any time you build up the hype about something,
- 54:01there's going to be someone disappointed.
- 54:03You know, even kids, when Santa turns up and it doesn't have
- 54:07exactly what they want, despite the fact that Santa turned up,
- 54:10you know, came down the chimney, left a load of cherry.
- 54:13Pies for some reason. Yeah, exactly.
- 54:17Drank all of Dad's Sherry, you know, and and didn't leave the
- 54:22one small thing that you really wanted that you maybe didn't
- 54:26emphasize enough to mom or dad to tell Santa, Then you know,
- 54:32there might be a little bit of upset.
- 54:34And you know what? We're we're people that collect
- 54:37toys and we're in their 40s. We're still kids.
- 54:42I'll say to the horseman I don't know any of this would face
- 54:44them, but don't let it faze you. Let's face it, there were people
- 54:47that got genuinely upset when you cancelled the slightly
- 54:49racist horse outfit. You know, people will get angry
- 54:54over everything, anything and everything.
- 54:56Just don't worry about it. Yeah, right on for a listener
- 55:00question. So let's try a new little, uh,
- 55:02musical transition. And before YouTube strike me for
- 55:14that, that was me, OK, That wasn't uh anything.
- 55:17I copied. Uh, right.
- 55:19Shall we listen to, umm, well, I let him introduce himself
- 55:23because he's. Uh.
- 55:24He does that because he's uh. He knows what he said.
- 55:27We got an awesome listener question from one of our patrons
- 55:30in a voice note, so that's perfect podcast voice note.
- 55:36Saves us having to read it out. So even though you might like
- 55:39Mal to read out your question, I think it's better if we hear
- 55:42your voice, huh. We go for it.
- 55:46This is Jeremy Gove here and I've got a question for the
- 55:49game. Are there any rules that you
- 55:52guys give yourselves to help bring in the urge to collect
- 55:56things? Example that came up for me this
- 56:00weekend, Big Bad Toy Store has an absolutely beautiful 30
- 56:06Firefly up on sale right now and that is very tempted to drop the
- 56:11$100 for it. But kind of given myself the
- 56:15rule of only collecting 112 scale and trying to keep myself
- 56:21from going after those one six scale toys.
- 56:26And I'm really glad I did, Now that I saw that there's a going
- 56:29to be another 4 Horsemen sale coming up with the mysteries of
- 56:33Mythos and ready to make my wallet SOB.
- 56:38Yeah, or your hearts off, Jeremy, depending on your
- 56:40opinion on mystery boxes. But yeah, that's a pretty cool
- 56:44question and thanks very much Jeremy, for that.
- 56:47You've been very supportive so far and are engaging in the
- 56:51Discord as well. And obviously being a patron
- 56:53like a lot of other cool people, that's very much appreciated.
- 56:57So yeah, who wants to take that first?
- 57:02Shall I? I'll go first because I've
- 57:03actually had something, as I said to you when you talked
- 57:05about this question, it's something that's actually been
- 57:07on my mind quite a lot because as I said earlier, I've spent a
- 57:12small well, I haven't spent it this month.
- 57:14It's all gone out of my bank account this month because of
- 57:16pre-orders. And there was potentially going
- 57:19to be even more because of the Besco Turtle debacle that you
- 57:22two know about that I won't go into, but I set myself well.
- 57:32I originally was collecting multiple lines and there was an
- 57:36element of all in on some of them and picking up what I
- 57:41wanted from others. And then I kind of got to a
- 57:44point where I was thinking, well, I'm getting these and I'm
- 57:46not as excited. Well, it's OK.
- 57:48So what I would say certain other lines, IE mythics, cosmics
- 57:52were coming out and the horseman was saying, look, we're going to
- 57:54start doing more stuff, we're going to produce more.
- 57:57And I'm sitting there like I really, really like what they're
- 58:00doing and I'm excited every time I get it.
- 58:03And I'm not getting as excited about these figures here when
- 58:08they turn up as I am about these figures.
- 58:10You know legions make me feel like a kid again.
- 58:15Moto origins make me feel like a kid again.
- 58:17I get you know that genuine excitement when they turn up and
- 58:20you're opening them and you're playing with them and putting
- 58:21the parts together and things like GI Joe I wasn't doing
- 58:25they're cool and I love you know and I'm I'm getting the dread
- 58:28there you go I should come to and and so and Valovus they were
- 58:32cool. They became harder to get.
- 58:36So it made a decision for me, but I kind of started going,
- 58:39well, OK, let's start with these.
- 58:42I don't need to get rid of things necessarily, and if I
- 58:45want to, but let's stick with the origins and stick with the
- 58:50legions and I'll. I'm all in on them.
- 58:55I'm actually not all in on the origins, but mostly all in on
- 58:57the origins and other things. I'll pick up the odd thing here
- 59:02and there, and that was doing all right for about a year.
- 59:06The problem then, of course is the things that there's.
- 59:09You get the odd bit of start doing loads of really odd bits
- 59:13of good stuff and then new lines come along and you're like, Oh
- 59:18well, I could just get those couple from there.
- 59:21And so I've started to creep up again the things I'm getting.
- 59:26So I need to kind of draw back and one of the decisions behind
- 59:31that is space and I've got a lot of boxes in storage with stuff
- 59:36in them that aren't isn't on display.
- 59:38And if I'm buying something that's then just going to go
- 59:41into storage, is it worth buying?
- 59:44The answer to that is yes. Some of it I still do buy, but
- 59:48I'm trying to be more strict with it again and I need to get
- 59:51more strict again. I mean the turtle stuff, that's
- 59:55one of the things I just get the odd thing.
- 59:57But as everyone knows, there's so much turtle stuff coming out,
- 1:00:01and so much of it is good. That's a bit of a battle, but
- 1:00:05yeah, so. 400 Space for the Mes Mesco turtles is well, that's a
- 1:00:09small odd thing, isn't It's quite a big odd thing.
- 1:00:12Well, yeah. Well, that would have been the
- 1:00:15slight exception to all his eyes.
- 1:00:17Sure. And I was trying to think.
- 1:00:19I was trying to pay in installments, wasn't I?
- 1:00:22Which, you know, didn't work out for me anyway, but, and that's
- 1:00:26how I was handling that, is, it's like £100 a month rather
- 1:00:29than £500 or whatever it was. Yeah, Mal's.
- 1:00:32Mal's retailer got short stocked and Mal got screwed.
- 1:00:36That's what happened. Yeah, so the way if anyone has a
- 1:00:39set of Mexico turtles that they don't want to flip for loads of
- 1:00:44money on the Internet, uh, hit up.
- 1:00:46Now you know. Yeah, but yeah.
- 1:00:51He's too nice, just too nice to to.
- 1:00:54He'd be like, Oh no, make your make your money on eBay.
- 1:00:57No, no, no, no, no. It's actually the opposite.
- 1:01:00I'm not willing to pay more than the 500 I was going to.
- 1:01:02Pay. No, no, no.
- 1:01:03But you'd be saying to the person, Make sell it to somebody
- 1:01:06else. Oh yeah, sell it to me for 4:50
- 1:01:11or whatever. Second first, I'd be like you
- 1:01:13Dick. You got more than one.
- 1:01:15Screw you. Maybe they don't.
- 1:01:18I didn't get any. Maybe.
- 1:01:19They're like, maybe they're like or maybe they're like, oh, I got
- 1:01:21a car bill I need to pay, and even though I love these, I need
- 1:01:24to get rid of them. Well, in that case you probably
- 1:01:26go to eBay. Well, the other thing I'm now on
- 1:01:29to is that if anyone got the Mezco set and have the Fury
- 1:01:35toys, I think it was at the time Spring that they've decided I
- 1:01:39don't need this now and they want to sell me that for a
- 1:01:41decent price. I'll take that instead.
- 1:01:45Or I could trade you for I forgot what name is Hate Atlas.
- 1:01:53Sorry Rich, I'm giving away rather than selling it to you.
- 1:01:57Hate Atlas? Juno Attila.
- 1:02:00Juno. Yeah, If anyone wants to trade
- 1:02:03the spring for a Juno, I'd do that.
- 1:02:06There we go. So anyway, yes.
- 1:02:09So yeah, in short space, how much it excites me when I open
- 1:02:14it, you know, new stuff, if I'm getting them and going.
- 1:02:16It wasn't all that. Probably just sell it on and and
- 1:02:20try and keep the collection down.
- 1:02:23Fair, fair. Rich, what you got on this?
- 1:02:27Unfortunately, I don't have any rules at all.
- 1:02:30There's a there's an amazing meme where it's it's something
- 1:02:36like people must think I'm really wealthy with all my toy
- 1:02:40collection. No, I'm just irresponsible.
- 1:02:43That's that's me. Basically, I have a constant
- 1:02:47churn in what I collect because I'll just dive into anything
- 1:02:50that takes my fancy, have it for six months, sometimes not even
- 1:02:54get out-of-the-box and then go, do you know what?
- 1:02:55Shit, I haven't got any room to display this or I shouldn't have
- 1:02:58bought this. And then I'll just sell it.
- 1:03:00And it's, you know, constant churn of my collection sort of
- 1:03:04thing. So no, I I have the main lines I
- 1:03:06collect and I love them and I'd like to go, yeah, do you know
- 1:03:09what if it's not something I've got a nostalgia feel for, I'm
- 1:03:12not going to do it. But that doesn't work.
- 1:03:15If it should be like, well, it's like super seven stuff that's
- 1:03:18too expensive. No, for what it is.
- 1:03:20No, definitely not. That doesn't work.
- 1:03:24It should be, well, you know, stick with the original horseman
- 1:03:26figures, Don't do the custom stuff that doesn't.
- 1:03:27You know, there's literally nothing that works for me.
- 1:03:31And I still find myself now looking at things like how I I
- 1:03:35saw the the Mezco 112 Mr. Freeze the other day and then was
- 1:03:40immediately Googling to see how much all the Mezco Batman stuff
- 1:03:43was. And it's like, what is wrong
- 1:03:44with you? You can get nowhere near as good
- 1:03:47a quality MacFarlane ones, but they're £20 rather than £100.
- 1:03:51I have a lot of the Mezco Batman so if you ever want one or two I
- 1:03:55can do your mates rates. Thank you.
- 1:03:57No. I'm thank you for tempting me,
- 1:03:59John, but no, I'm trying. No.
- 1:04:00Does that works? Does that work?
- 1:04:01Trying desperately not to. Euro enablers.
- 1:04:05One of the even if I give. Even if I give you one for free,
- 1:04:08you do go no, because then I have to get them all was.
- 1:04:11It one of the UK sites had the was it Batman Two Face I think
- 1:04:16Golden. Oh yeah.
- 1:04:20And it was a really fairly decent price for a Mezco pack.
- 1:04:23And they look amazing, was like, if I do that, I've got to get
- 1:04:26more of those and then it gets expensive.
- 1:04:28But do you need to do that? It's like the Dick.
- 1:04:31I've talked on the show before about the Mezco.
- 1:04:32Dick Tracy figures again, they look incredible, but I don't
- 1:04:36need to spend £100 a figure on that, will I?
- 1:04:38Probably yes, when they come and then and then I'll end up
- 1:04:42selling them at some point. Or I can sell something else
- 1:04:44because I shouldn't have bought those.
- 1:04:45And it I just got no control of it.
- 1:04:47It's it's it's embarrassing. Mesco are an interesting one
- 1:04:51because for me personally, some of what they do is OK, probably
- 1:04:57too expensive for the quality. Some of what they do is
- 1:05:00incredible. And I mean, I've got one or two
- 1:05:04and I pick up the odd one here and there and I've so far I'm
- 1:05:08very happy. I mean, the Conans were
- 1:05:10ridiculously good. The turtles look ridiculously
- 1:05:12good. That Mister Freeze is
- 1:05:14incredible, to be fair, But then a lot of.
- 1:05:18Like, OK and I because I was kind of clicked in the bit of
- 1:05:21Mexico when that Mister phrase was announced and I didn't go in
- 1:05:24on him because I decided to stick to Batman but will get to
- 1:05:27me. But that Mister Freeze was 2 1/2
- 1:05:30years, Ordinarily three I think, before it came out.
- 1:05:34For me, it was worth sure. But that's too long.
- 1:05:39Yeah, for one figure, you know? Yeah.
- 1:05:42Yeah, but I give you a classic example of what my collecting's
- 1:05:44like. When Super Seven started doing
- 1:05:47their ultimates and nostalgic stuff dived on the Thundercats,
- 1:05:52one of my favorite cartoons as a kid.
- 1:05:53Love the Thundercats figures. I mean, some of the paint jobs
- 1:05:56are awful and they're far so expensive, but I love them.
- 1:05:58Never get rid of those. And then they did turtles.
- 1:06:01And I'm like, I'll get the turtles too as well.
- 1:06:02I never had turtles as a kid. It was.
- 1:06:03It was after my childhood sort of thing.
- 1:06:05But I used to like the cartoon. I don't particularly like the
- 1:06:08neck cartoon figures. I'll get the toy ones and got
- 1:06:11loads and loads of those. And then a couple of months back
- 1:06:14suddenly went, do you know what I need to recoup some of this
- 1:06:16money? I I need to get rid of the
- 1:06:17turtle, the Super seven turtles. Fine.
- 1:06:19Started selling those and then was in a discount store in the
- 1:06:23UK not so long ago and they had the Super seven reaction turtles
- 1:06:28for like 6 or £7.00 a figure. And I bought a load of those and
- 1:06:30it's like, what are you doing? You just got rid of one super 7
- 1:06:33turtle stuff and then bought something else.
- 1:06:35And I'm probably going to sell the reaction stuff now because I
- 1:06:37don't need it, but there's I'm an impulse buyer and then it
- 1:06:41just leads to lots of trips to the post office to sell the
- 1:06:43stuff that I don't want anymore. So I in answers to very long
- 1:06:47winded answers to Jeremy's question.
- 1:06:49I would love to have rules that I stick to when I'm buying, but
- 1:06:52I don't. Even if I have them, I don't
- 1:06:54stick to them. Yeah.
- 1:06:57So there you see that the Jones 1234 is actually a self
- 1:07:03preservation it. Is basically.
- 1:07:05Yes, it's not. It saves a baby.
- 1:07:06It's not. Under my door it's not.
- 1:07:08Rich the flipper. Really.
- 1:07:10It is actually Rich the staying alive, you know?
- 1:07:14Yeah. Get rid of all my married.
- 1:07:17It's, yeah, it's it's basically that that ebase stuff is the the
- 1:07:21result of my phone. So for me, so I'll give two
- 1:07:31contexts first, I think when I was, you know, when I was
- 1:07:35growing up, we never had that much money and we weren't poor.
- 1:07:39You know, we always had enough to food and we had house and you
- 1:07:44know that was all fine. But we never had much money for
- 1:07:47luxuries. So there was always a choice.
- 1:07:50There was always like do you want that or that, You know, you
- 1:07:52can only get one thing or you have to wait till your birthday,
- 1:07:55you have to wait till Christmas. And most people had that.
- 1:07:57But I I think that I always kind of kept that in me.
- 1:08:01So even when I started working and I had disposable income and
- 1:08:04especially before I had children and all that kind of stuff, I
- 1:08:08still had that thing of denying myself stuff until, you know, a
- 1:08:12certain point. So say if I wanted to buy, I
- 1:08:14remember when I bought PlayStation two back when, you
- 1:08:16know, maybe after a year or two of them being out and I hadn't
- 1:08:19really had a console since, you know, I was you know teenager
- 1:08:23when I had maybe it was one of the segas, Umm.
- 1:08:28So I was like this would be a huge jump.
- 1:08:30But I still thought about it and like six months later I
- 1:08:33eventually bought it after going into the shop 10 times and
- 1:08:36looking at the different games. And even back then there was
- 1:08:40probably online research going on.
- 1:08:41So that's the kind of person I am a little bit, you know, so
- 1:08:48and with all sorts of techie care.
- 1:08:49So when it came to the toy collecting was definitely a bit
- 1:08:53like that for the start and and then eventually jump in you get
- 1:08:58some stuff and think OK that's great and you know I'll click
- 1:09:01that line and the other line exactly like you Malik.
- 1:09:04Got to the point where I was getting pre-orders certain
- 1:09:08amount to good band time after ordering them like I remember
- 1:09:12super seven uh some of the ultimate lines and going I don't
- 1:09:17want these you know I did want them at the point but then I was
- 1:09:22like OK so I sell those and I was like OK now I need to think
- 1:09:25and Legions was the only thing that I was getting eh on
- 1:09:29pre-order getting in and being like completely like blown away
- 1:09:32and hyped about it. So I was like, OK, that's
- 1:09:34something you know, and even the Masco stuff, I remember ordering
- 1:09:38the Masco Superman and I think it was the Christopher Reeve one
- 1:09:43and staying online for like 3 hours as the getting the blue
- 1:09:47screen of death and all this kind of stuff.
- 1:09:48And eventually I got like 2. So it was used on those
- 1:09:53exclusives. I used to get one for myself and
- 1:09:55then one to kind of sell because you the shipping cost was no
- 1:10:00different and you'd recoup a little bit of the money off it.
- 1:10:03And I got, you know, a couple of months later arrived and I was
- 1:10:06like, what was I even do and I don't even want this.
- 1:10:10So, so the two of them And then I was like, OK, I'm collection
- 1:10:13allegiance. And then the second context for
- 1:10:14me is around three or four years ago we had to change where my
- 1:10:19wife went back to work, wanted to go back to work full time.
- 1:10:22And then I had to make a choice about how do we do with the
- 1:10:25kids. And it eventually ended up and
- 1:10:27me being a full time parent for a certain amount of time and I
- 1:10:31used to collect Lego as well around that time.
- 1:10:33So the first thing I just instantly stopped buying all
- 1:10:36Lego, uh, cold Turkey. And the only thing I said was
- 1:10:40like, I'm fine without the money, but I want to keep
- 1:10:43collecting the legions. That's the only thing and and if
- 1:10:47I want to buy any other toys I have to sell, like this is just
- 1:10:50an internal rule. This wasn't like, you know,
- 1:10:53obviously we can we can manage on my wife's salary.
- 1:10:55So I could always say to her, you know, I need to use a bit of
- 1:11:00money to buy this if I want to and we talk about it.
- 1:11:04So it wasn't like a hard financial constraint.
- 1:11:08It was more of a this, this is sensible, you know, so that's
- 1:11:12generally what I do. So for example, when I got a
- 1:11:14couple of GI Joes recently that we when we were talking about,
- 1:11:17it's really cool. I sold a bunch of other old
- 1:11:19figures that I had to kind of fund that.
- 1:11:21Now it's not, you know, I don't pull out a spreadsheet and
- 1:11:25balance the books on it. It's an approximate thing, you
- 1:11:27know, but it's more of a principal thing And and then the
- 1:11:31stuff around it like the customizing, I've put that down
- 1:11:34as hobby expenditures. So if I want to buy parts or
- 1:11:37paints or stuff like that, I generally don't go crazy, you
- 1:11:41know, But I kind of spread it out and I kind of, uh, uh, you
- 1:11:46know, try not to impulse by. So that's kind of how I run it
- 1:11:49now. So the only thing I really
- 1:11:50collect is legions. Umm, I have that little bit of,
- 1:11:54uh, denying myself stuff from childhood that helps.
- 1:12:00And uh, of course, the thing, that financial constraint in
- 1:12:05that I don't have my own, eh, disposable income currently.
- 1:12:09So, you know, and currently I'd rather probably buy another
- 1:12:13fancy microphone then then, you know, start collecting a new
- 1:12:17line. That's just for me at the
- 1:12:18moment. But that's just another type of
- 1:12:22collecting, you know, that's unnecessary but fun, you know?
- 1:12:27Yeah. So I think that's how I deal
- 1:12:29with it. I've certainly thought I
- 1:12:31actually have a way that might stop myself is is just puts the
- 1:12:34fountain display quicker. Yeah, I had the whole DC Direct
- 1:12:39and Mattel classics, Black Lantern and Green Lantern waves,
- 1:12:451st 6 inch figures ever collected.
- 1:12:47Loved them, put them out, had an entire IKEA Billy full of them.
- 1:12:51They were there for about two months and I was like, do you
- 1:12:53know what? I'm done with that now and sold
- 1:12:55them all and maybe that's what I need to do with other things.
- 1:13:01That could be it, Rich, you know.
- 1:13:03But I think we're here to help, you know, if you ever need to,
- 1:13:10if you. Need an intervention?
- 1:13:13Yeah, yeah. I'm I'm asking my good lady wife
- 1:13:16your contact details so she can just like seriously, can you
- 1:13:18message him? Yeah, we'll just sell them more
- 1:13:22stuff, you know. Well, you 2 did did threaten
- 1:13:26intervention with me at last Legions con, didn't you?
- 1:13:28It's on my left of the desk. I came, I came.
- 1:13:30Table. I came back with a custom or
- 1:13:32two. You do it.
- 1:13:34Yeah, Legion's gone. It's a tricky 1 because I I do
- 1:13:37want to constrain myself this year and that I would then I
- 1:13:42don't want to have to ship a box and which I think will mean that
- 1:13:47if I do buy some extra stuff, I'm just going to unbox it.
- 1:13:50I'm not going to mess around with having stuff in box
- 1:13:53shipping back and. You make sure you do it quietly,
- 1:13:55John. We don't want to be disturbed in
- 1:13:57the room. Yeah, I'll do it at 4:00 in the
- 1:14:01morning when you're a student. Bargain and malice beside me,
- 1:14:06snoring. You wait.
- 1:14:10I won't hear anything over the snoring.
- 1:14:12So. Exactly.
- 1:14:13Yeah, we can do it. However, that works.
- 1:14:16Or we can we can do podcasts while malice snoring challenge
- 1:14:23my editing skills to see can I can I filter out a snore from
- 1:14:27the podcast and just every swaffle faded back up?
- 1:14:31We'll see. We'll see what we can do to wake
- 1:14:33to wake mall up this year. A little competition.
- 1:14:37John, what can we do to wake mall up?
- 1:14:39At one point I'll lean over and go wakes him up.
- 1:14:46What if it does? What do we do then?
- 1:14:48That's the problem that. 'D be quite creepy, actually.
- 1:14:50We need to be woken up by that. Be like, what the hell.
- 1:14:54You know? Or what if he's like you and
- 1:14:56just starts punching and he sleep?
- 1:14:57You know, I still think this is the biggest scam ever.
- 1:15:01He got his own bed by by saying that he punches food and he
- 1:15:05sleep and he slept like a log and didn't move a muscle for the
- 1:15:09entire four days. I kicked my wife so hard the
- 1:15:12other night and was put her out of the bed, so it's still an
- 1:15:15issue. OK, I think we need to get her
- 1:15:17on the podcast to to confirm this before next legion's gone,
- 1:15:24right? We we're going to record a
- 1:15:28patron episode right now so if you want to join your Patreon
- 1:15:31you might get to hear that we're going to talk about all the most
- 1:15:33recent toy news outside of legions, umm, because that's fun
- 1:15:37to talk about. So I think we've done enough
- 1:15:39about the mysteries we haven't gone.
- 1:15:41I think we've I think we've been fairly fair.
- 1:15:43Not too hard. As I said not for me.
- 1:15:46I'm a long time collector. Uh, very happy.
- 1:15:49Uh, for other people. If anyone in Europe and maybe in
- 1:15:53the UK buys some and maybe doesn't want what they got and
- 1:15:57they can't find someone to buy it, contact us.
- 1:15:59We might still get it anywhere. Rich definitely will buy it
- 1:16:01because he can't do so. We're always here to help, you
- 1:16:07know, on the Irritations podcast.
- 1:16:08Sound good? Yeah, sounds good.
- 1:16:11Sounds perfect. Cheers guys, thanks for that.
- 1:16:16Bye, bye, everybody. Stay safe out there.
- 1:16:21Crack open another beer. The.
