- 0:11[SPEAKER_03]: I just want to acknowledge and say something real quick before we start this episode.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: What is on so serious?
- 0:17[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, I'm not serious.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_03]: I just...
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: you know it's been a rough week it's been okay I'm never gonna a lot of you guys you know this is the podcast where we keep a real it hasn't been the easiest week now I'm not talking about like actually I was gonna say like physical labor but there has been some physical laboring happening in this apartment
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, there has been, and you guys will actually be proud of us when we tell you what, what we uh, we did this week.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_03]: Let's just go ahead and tell them, okay, I hate when people talk about shit without saying what it is.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like, oh, you gotta wait for it, I hate that.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_03]: We've been having this closet in our, in our hallway here for at least I want to say six months.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: We got it in June, and now it is October.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, Naya six months, but close for us.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_03]: And that is way too long to just have boxes in your live room.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_03]: And we were looking at it every single day.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's the first thing I see when I walk in.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's just those boxes.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a lot of boxes like in a way that it's just eye sore.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_03]: It's not cute.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: It's not cute.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's a tall closet too.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's the longest closet.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_03]: Tulls closet we ever had.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it's just that the problem was that you don't just you're like, okay, you guys, it's a closet.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: You just build it.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's built IKEA closet.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's not the building, the closet.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's the issue.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: The issue is the fact that you have to anchor the closet to the wall because it's so tall.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: And you don't want that when you open the door for it to like topple over you, obviously.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, of course, should we tell them what we have to do?
- 2:00[SPEAKER_03]: No, we will tell them exactly what we have to do.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_03]: Every, I don't know if you guys have this in your apartment, but like, obviously everybody got walls in your apartment right in their house, but then at the bottom we have what you call the little ledge.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: A dream.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: We have a dream at the bottom of the walls.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: So like between.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_03]: Second inch.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's like an inch of wood that is placed on top of the walls.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: to make it like look finished, you know?
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: So it doesn't damage like the corners of the wall.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you, you need to like look it up if you don't know what I'm talking about, just like frame on the wall.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so that's what we have all around the house.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_03]: And I do, I must make a makes it look nicer.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_03]: Like something about it.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of like having a frame and then having like the border.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a finishing touch for sure.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_03]: So it's a nice finishing touch which we appreciate.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_03]: We never thought it'll bring us this word about to tell you, okay?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_03]: So anchoring the closet to the wall, it seems pretty easy to do.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but because we have this trim, the closet doesn't, the back of the closet doesn't touch the wall because we have this inch of trim, right?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: So the bottom of the closet is touching the trim, but then it leaves a space at the top
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: to the wall.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: And the anchor is going to be on the wall, but it's not reaching the closet to like anchor it to the wall.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: So then we have to extend the wall, which means we have to go to the hardware store and buy a piece of wood to then put the wood into the wall.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_03]: Not into the wall, but on
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: So we're like extending the wall as much as the the trim is at the bottom.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: So then the top of the closet is like also touching at the top.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: So then we can put the anchor on top of that.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: See, it's already complicated.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: You're probably lost.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: You're probably like I'm over this episode already.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: We were two.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's why it took us four months to actually get to do it because it was just such a headache.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: And it was exactly the type of headache we thought it was going to be.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think it's justified that we put it off for so long because it was as worse if not worse than I imagined.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: It was you, too.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, especially because.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it was that bad, especially because listening to this, right?
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: There was a piece as we're building the closet.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: You like put the anchor on the top, whatever, whatever.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: And then you start building like the frame of the closet, which is like a box.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: Think of it as a box, right?
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: Or a rectangle.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: And at the bottom, you have to put this like wood pieces to create the bottom of the closet, right?
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: And basically, the closet is a bunch of pieces you got to put together, and yeah, you guys know how IKEA shit works, right?
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: And we come to find out, we bought two closets that were going to go side by side.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're like these skinny closets.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: And we were like looking to the instructions, we're trying to figure out the order, which makes sense to like do this, you watch some videos, and then we're looking at the bottom, and we see like, wait, we're missing a piece of wood.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_03]: you know it's one of those pieces that don't look like it's actually something that will that will go into a closet when you usually when you get a big box of like some heavy anything usually on on on on a corner of those boxes there's like protection material so we thought it was one of those things and it's a light piece of wood.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like when you get furniture, you know, you have that protective like either it's a sponge or it's like the top of like cardboard and sometimes if there's furniture that is like already put together and made and it's really heavy they'll actually put other pieces of wood or wood like material to protect it when it's shipping and one of the pieces out of the puzzle of the closet
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: all of the pieces were with this white finishing except for one piece that goes on the inside you don't even see it so they even like bother to cover it in this white sheet and because of that it just looked like a piece of like I don't even know what you call this not that cardboard.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_00]: It just looked like a piece of something that protects other furniture.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: So whenever we open the closet months ago for the first time and realized, oh my god, we have to anchor it a lot a lot all this stuff.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: We took it out of the packaging.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: So there was some floating pieces around the entryway that were out of the box.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: And because of that, what we think happened is when we were taking out the garbage at some point.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: So we constantly have boxes in the show that we need to like break down and go throw on the garbage in the recycling, right?
- 6:56[SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes when you take out the garbage, you also look around to see okay, like what else is there to throw away?
- 7:01[SPEAKER_03]: Just to clean it up, you know, you want to clean up the space because at that point we knew we were building the shit right now.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_03]: And so we was like, let's, let's clean it all up and just save it in a corner as neat as possible.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_03]: So we got rid of a lot of stuff now.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think, basically, what happened?
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think I threw it away.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_03]: I'll get through a piece of way that we needed for the closet.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: It was the piece that we needed that it wasn't until just now a couple days ago.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: We started building this that I realized like, oh, we don't have this piece.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_00]: We only had it for like the second closet that we hadn't yet opened.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: So we're missing a whole piece, right, that you need to build this closet.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, of course we're missing a piece.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, after finally deciding today, we're building this shit and we're trying to figure it out.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: We're finally doing it, okay?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: We devoted almost an entire day to this, right?
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: And then we figure out why we don't have a piece.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: We have to like what are we going to do and Yoni was like I think I have to go to the hardware store You're just going to make the piece and they're going to yeah, we're going to ask them to make this piece which was simply a piece of wood that's like I don't know.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if people are getting lost in a detail the details don't really matter But it's something that would be easily made.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: It was like a flat piece of wood think like
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know how to explain it.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not very thick, it's like just like a bar.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's like the size of my hand.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a long piece of wood about like eight inches wide.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: And it had these like,
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even have to call it like carving on both ends that were just like a slit like you just cut a little slit into the sides basically something that would be really easy to make at a hardware store they already cut wood they would have just had to go and on each side and they would have been done right yeah and I went there and I was like look I need to I'm building a closet and I need to recreate except brought the other piece of the
- 9:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, luckily we had a whole closet with all we have no one to open it so I was like let me open the other one See exactly what that with that piece looks like I took that to the hardware story And I was like I need to recreate this what kind of wood is it whatever so basically the guys like like we can do that all Only thing I can do is just cut the piece for the specific size and then for the rest You go have to figure it out.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean you're being stubborn because they 100% could have made that
- 9:24[SPEAKER_03]: I don't, and I asked multiple people, they're like one person told me they can't do it.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_03]: I ran right over to the next person and that other guy saw me goes to someone else.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_03]: I was like, excuse me, I need to do this and I got up and I'm like, they're not just tell you, I can't just like, no, I need to figure this shit out.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_03]: Anyways, they couldn't do it and I'm like, okay, cool.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm walking around the hardware store looking for tools.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_03]: How to cut this to just mash this other piece that I had and I'm gonna I don't know all we can't post a photo anymore But I was gonna post it on the story so everybody can see what we're talking about But anyways, we'll figure it out basically we only came home with this piece of wood and Like small little saw and this other like kind of almost like a like a nail file that like made for wood.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think and then we had a drill
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: right because we have a drill to like make holes in the wall to like put shit up right so we had that already we didn't think while union was at the harbor store oh let me charge the drill so the drill had like some battery left and then but it died on us luckily our building has this thing where you can like rent rent rent like a bunch of random home appliances and they had a drill
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: So that I was like, oh, okay, well, while our charges, let's go get the one downstairs and use that one.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: Because basically, we were using the drill for making the hole in the walls, making the hole in the in the wood on the wall, making the making so many holes with this drill.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: And we ended up also using the drill to carve the wood.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: We literally had to make a piece that goes into the furniture, you guys.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: And make the
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Fork in peace of IKEA.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_03]: Well, how it comes back upstairs with the thing that we rented from this little machine.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: It's like a vending machine of utilities, right?
- 11:09[SPEAKER_03]: Which is very, very handy.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like if you get your vacuum from there, you get all these other things.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_03]: We get up here and we want to use the drill.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: We start using it for like maybe five minutes.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_03]: Five minutes and guess what?
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: It does.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: because this is like a shared like utility thing.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: So everyone in the building can like rent all these different things.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: But of course, nobody's gonna charge it, like you use it until you're done, and then you put it back downstairs.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_03]: So basically, we got it when it was pretty much like on the one bar.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then we had to like plug it in and we had to switch keeps switching back and forth between the drill and mind you it's about to get like Late so we were trying to not make noise because after 9 p.m.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_00]: you know, it's like quiet hours or whatever and you don't want to be that neighbor that is doing a random home project in the middle of the night
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: Making holes in shit.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: So we were like literally I even said to you and I was like, oh, I wonder if we could take a furniture making class It felt like I was making furniture like I was carving wood to fit with like another piece of wood And we were doing this in our kitchen just randomly we're just trying to build this freaking IKEA furniture
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was crazy.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: It was like worse than I imagined it was going to be.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because just building, just because just putting this closet together took us a lot of like, because it takes time, more very busy, takes time, and then also, you know, it's like a whole thing, right?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, you know, it's a whole thing.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to get in front of you.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_03]: So when you finally decide to do it, you got to go through a hardware store.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_03]: They can't help you.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_03]: You got to come home and do.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_03]: So before we actually started, we had to like,
- 12:41[SPEAKER_03]: It was the worst case in there, yeah, but if you got lost in the details of your apologize, but we just had to get it out.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like we haven't talked about it, and we just had to tell someone because it's the first one to hear it.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: The closet is up, so both closets are up, and I was going to open running.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: They're not doing anything that was standing there.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_03]: They're up and running, except there's no door, so that's what we're going to do right now.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we have to add the doors and some actual drawers that you have to build into a square, which is like a whole thing.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but no more details about the closet, okay, because I feel like it's, I don't know if people got lost or not, but it's just so fresh on my mind.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: So I can see when I'm talking about.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we wish that we could maybe we'll like do, oh, we should do like a post on on on Instagram.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I mean, it's just going to look like a basic closet.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I guess that's true.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's really helpful.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_03]: But today's episode is not about the closet.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, well, they're going to click on this and they're going to be like, how, what is this topic?
- 13:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we should we continue talking about furniture.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_03]: Just building closet and building things for your, for our house.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I mean, we could just because I feel like the episode, I want to like devote that topic for like a full episode.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I kind of like got into this.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_03]: We should just like when whenever we do the episode that we actually had in mind for today, this is the cool thing about our podcast.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_03]: I just want to say it real quick.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_03]: We can literally have a topic.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_03]: In mine, it'd be all right cool.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to talk about it.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_03]: And then we just kind of like do the intro and then we do a whole episode about something completely different, which turns out to be okay.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_03]: Those episodes are trying to be those are like the off topic episode.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes you guys don't even know we had a whole other topic.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so that's kind of happening right now and I think we should just go with the flow of maybe like
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, home, home the core.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_03]: Like this is this is something that we've because there's many things that we want to build, but I don't want to talk about the whole like the whole episode shouldn't be about like we're building shit.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: No, no.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to say that this week in particular really felt like just draining from an adulting standpoint.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_03]: You can start by from Monday.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_03]: Also, you can remember specifically.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_03]: I don't I think we did yeah, it's like in the middle of us or just oh yeah by the way By the way, my name is Yoni and this is my lovely wife, Alia, and this is the Worcest juice podcast If this is your first time listening to this.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: We you know the podcast We are the You go ahead
- 15:22[SPEAKER_03]: I said this podcast, sometimes we just freestyle, you know, that's the fun, that's the fun part to me.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't know, it is fun part, especially because it kind of, I don't know, for us, the podcast is also a time when we sit down and we really like, that we don't talk to each other on the regular, but it's a nice little, it's a nice little like check in moment that feels sort of therapeutic.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes we do have called the episode like couples therapy now, right, because there's somebody that is not what that is.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's not what we do because we talk about like random things.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and sometimes during the week, if there's something I want to tell you, I would save it from when we record because this is the time for us to like share what was either like on on my mind or what was on your mind and just kind of like,
- 16:09[SPEAKER_03]: What was on my mind was... But the craziest thing is we share it like with everyone else too.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_03]: So that's why whenever we meet people in person or like what they, it's like, I don't know, we run, we run into them, you know, in person on the street.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_03]: They kind of know everything we're already doing.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I can meet someone and just start chatting with them and be like, yeah, you know, somebody to do this and last week with this and then they would be like, yeah, I already know.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, that's the part.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so that's, that's pretty cool.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know for me this week was, uh, was it tough?
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: What happened on Monday?
- 16:46[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like I want to look at my phone and, and look at the photos.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember what happened on Monday.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we've been working out.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_03]: We, I mean, I've been working out.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: I worked out on Monday, actually, and I haven't worked out since Monday.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I kept pushing it off.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: I started this new, like, um, sort of like personal trainer, but it's on your phone, like, through this app.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a real person.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: And... No, it's a real person.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: I like meh her on FaceTime.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like it's actually a personal trainer.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: She has multiple clients.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: And we like talked...
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: in the beginning and then she was asked me questions like what do you want to focus on like often do you want to work out what's up at workouts do you like let allow these things and then she builds a program she builds a program for me and then the program is within the app and then she will like after every workout she'll tell me you know like oh great workout and I saw that you like pushed yourself with the weight on here but how can she see that?
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: because she sees, what do you mean, how does she see what?
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: She sees, like, when you complete a workout.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then she sees also, like, if you change the weight, like, let's say you try a weight.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, oh, I actually could go heavier than you.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_03]: I'm thinking you're supposed to workout while she's on face.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm watching you.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my god.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: You do the workout on your own.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_00]: And then you can, like, change...
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: like the weight or if it was too heavy then you go lighter and then you like put it into the app.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_00]: So then you can keep track of like your strength and how much you lift and also you can remember what you did last time.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_00]: And anyways, but she this week.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: She keeps messaging me, right?
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: Because you have my workouts.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: I have scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: And then if you miss a workout, it shows like this big red X on the App and shit, which makes you feel like really shitty.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's the point.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: But you can also move your workouts.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say it's like the end of the day, you know you're not gonna get your workout.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: And you're like, you know what?
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna move this forward tomorrow.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I keep just moving my workouts.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_03]: So wait, so this is like a subscription, right?
- 18:55[SPEAKER_03]: and she like designate it to be your trainer so it shows up to work where you're not there.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: No, but her job shows up has other clients.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_03]: She's like, yeah, you're probably just like another person, she's like, yeah, she's not serious.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, no, I don't think so.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_03]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try it.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: I want to try it.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: I want to try it.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: Because you want to try the money.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_03]: Well, in the morning, you also, because what, what you asked me this morning, you were like, I don't know if I should, when you work out early in the morning, do you eat before you work out?
- 19:43[SPEAKER_03]: I don't eat, you don't eat a full breakfast.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: I like to eat before I work out.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like to work out on an empty stomach.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, but you can eat a banana.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_03]: You can eat a piece of toast with peanut butter and just something and then drink some water and then you go to go.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_03]: And then after your shower, you come back, that's when you have your food.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, it's so early, like, working out so soon after you, working out so soon after you wake up.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_03]: Do you feel like you don't have strength yet?
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I'm just so, like, I love easing into the day.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I love waking up, then instilling my peaches, like, making breakfast and... That's a boring thing, right?
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love what I so much.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_03]: At what point during the day do you feel this strongest?
- 20:25[SPEAKER_03]: It has to be before lunch.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, I feel I love working out in that transition period between work and like the evening time.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: In theory for me, I love working out at five or six p.m.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: Five or six p.m.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: sweet spot right there.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: For me, I feel strong.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: I already have fueled my body with breakfast and lunch.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: I got my brain is fried from work, but my body has been sitting down all day,
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, the one thing that I don't like about leading my workout for that time is that it's just, it's a,
- 21:11[SPEAKER_00]: it's just easy to push off like if I work out in the morning no if I'm working out at five or six and that's my plan it's so easy to like keep pushing it off you're like I can do that seven I can do it I ate oh if I didn't do it I ate it's like it's too late now and then also figuring out when you're eating dinner because that workout has to happen before you eat dinner yeah it has to you can not work out dinner and then like work out at nine
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: No, because you want to have like some people do it five to six is the perfect time because you had lunch at like oneish one two So your food has already digested and you're about to eat dinner So it's the perfect thing of like okay, just finished worked at claws at closed.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: I closed my laptop I am going to change.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: I go to the gym.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: I do my workout
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: 45 minutes to an hour.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: I come home.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_00]: I have my, you know, like creatine or whatever electrolytes.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: I take a shower.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: I get in my PJs.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: I make dinner.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: I have dinner.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: I relax.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: I go to sleep.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: During the week, if I work out Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I have no reason to not adhere to that structure.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I think it's just about like waking up a little bit even earlier than what we do to get that work I didn't in the morning like to me.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_03]: I don't I don't have a problem working out in the morning is just that in the morning.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: I just feel the sharpest like I want to get to work right away.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like I want to put that energy into like the first couple hours of the day.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like it's when
- 22:43[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like I can get the most done.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_03]: It's either that or like really late at night.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_03]: Like midday, I'm just kind of like, I'm just trying to get to it.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_03]: But like it's either in a morning where I get like the most work done or like after dinner, like super late.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: Another thing is also that after my work, I'm like pretty tired.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like the workout drains my energy that if I were to work out in the morning and then I come back to the apartment, I shower, I, you know, do all the things and because I didn't really have a proper breakfast before my workout, let's say I had a banana or like toast or something.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_00]: Then I come home from my shop, from my workout, I shower, I put my clothes on, I moisturize all those things, whatever, and then, and then I make breakfast, and then I sit down, I'm like tired.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, you work out whenever you feel like it's best but we have to get it.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like this week I've been doing,
- 23:44[SPEAKER_03]: a good job at work and I worked at two times this week at least, which is... Did you?
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I did one day, one day and yesterday.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: Really?
- 23:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: You do one day.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_03]: I did Wednesday.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, I did Thursday, I did Thursday.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_03]: So I did Monday, Thursday, and it's not feeling like that.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's okay.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's, but I feel better.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_03]: And then also, too, like, I ordered my protein powder, the OG one.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_03]: I tried all the fats, fats you want, the vegan one, the, the... We ever tried the vegan one.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have grass fit?
- 24:19[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, grass, fat, or like, all like the healthier ones that the ones that I got.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like they just don't blend as well in my either smoothies or they just feel very chunky.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because they're not extra processed.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they're processed.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_03]: But the one that I'm using is really good.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: Which one?
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_03]: It's called like the one that I ordered.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no free advertisement.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_00]: No, just kidding.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I forgot what it's called, but I'll let you guys know when it's called the gold or it's not the one No, it's gold, but then it's, it's called something with something nutrition But it's like the most common one, like the big, it's like a red box with a black top It's like a vanilla ice cream Yeah, it's black with red Go, it's cool I can see it on my mind Yeah
- 25:06[SPEAKER_03]: And I put that right in my oatmeal.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_03]: I just, it just blends right in.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're bringing oatmeal back.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you guys like watch my videos back in the first year.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_00]: We were living in Olita and we had like a moment when when we first moved to New York.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: We were so excited to like live here and I know I was very excited to try out the restaurants and all the things.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: So the first six months, if we moved to New York, September 1st is when we signed our least, like we moved into our new apartment.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: 2023.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: Woo.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, right.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_03]: That's when I found it.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: So then from September 1st, 2023 until like January 1st, 2024, those six or not even six months.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's less than six.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_00]: But that entire time basically until the new year, we were just kind of not giving any of like not caring really.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: We weren't going to the gym at all.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: We weren't running or working out.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: There was nothing.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: We were just like,
- 26:06[SPEAKER_01]: though so much food and that's what it was.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: It was that too, but I also think it was like
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think we just didn't have brain capacity to get in a routine yet because everything was new.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: The city was completely new, we didn't have a bed, we didn't have anything, we were trying to just get our life situated and then eventually we were like okay we gotta get gym membership and all those things and then I remember I made this video for January 1st, 2024.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: Where it was like a whole thing of we're getting back in the gym We like went on a random run.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny how it's like we went on a run That's the first thing we did after now working out for like six months We did that in on January.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we went to we went on the west side highway.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_00]: I remember And we were doing like push ups on those on those things, you know like where people sit on the west side
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like around.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_02]: What's that?
- 27:03[SPEAKER_02]: How?
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: Because we ran on house then.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: And then got to the west side.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_00]: And we went up and down and back.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I remember.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember I also got it.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: I got it cold because it was so windy.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: I remember that.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: I remember being really cold because we also got tired.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: So we ended up walking back home.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: But once you run like we were sweaty.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: And then we were walking back anyways.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I made a, why am I just trying to tell you the story?
- 27:32[SPEAKER_03]: New year's resolution, moving to New York, finding a routine.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_03]: The first six months, we're trying to figure out, like, okay, how do we not keep?
- 27:42[SPEAKER_03]: Because we were eating out the whole time.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we were eating out.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: We were eating out.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: I think.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_03]: didn't I remember what you were saying for a while about it up well no I mean because then because you said okay we were doing you you made the video yeah and it was about the new year we were trying to finally get into a routine yeah so step number one was like okay going around yeah but why you mentioned the run specifically I don't know why did I mention working out that way when we first moved okay let's move on I don't know I don't
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: It happens, okay, yeah, I don't know.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Adulting just feels a little bit hard right now, especially because I don't know, like knowing that we're gonna leave, like we're leaving next week at the end of the week for a trip for five days, and then we're coming back, and then- Wait, did we tell, do we tell people where we're going?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_03]: No, next week?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_03]: That's surprised.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_03]: That's not surprised, we can tell.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, it's not a surprise, but we have another episode after this.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yes, so we're still waiting for, like a few confirmations, right?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, we still got to get a point to get.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so until that's done, you can't really put it out there like that because usually it's like, oh, actually, we didn't get to go.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't think this week for me, I mean, I feel you.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_00]: You were, Johnny's been on it.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_00]: Let me tell you, he's been on his to-do list.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: Other people.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: He's been on his like, every morning waking up, making his to-do list and just going boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like, he's been really, I give you a hand right here.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_03]: Ever since I came back, right?
- 29:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, ever since you came back, you've been on it.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_03]: No, I had a, I looked at the accountability mirror.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you know, I looked at myself and I was like, Yoni, what's going on?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes you got to do that.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I looked, and I did that back when I was in Belgium.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_03]: I had a long time to just reflect.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I wanted to say a long time and a long time, so I said, but anyways, I had enough time to reflect on where was that in my life.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_03]: And I think like talking to my dad a lot, kind of put things in perspective because he was telling me a lot of things about how he was growing up and he was such a like,
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: Regimented and strict discipline.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_03]: And I want to be like him, you know, I want to be like that.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_03]: And he just makes me feel like them.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_03]: If I'm his son, it's almost like I want to put myself to like, not the standard way.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_03]: He was that.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_03]: But like, I got to be somewhere near, you know, also.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_03]: And I would say, like as far as like manners and being polite and being a respectful young man, I got that, but like Getting things done in the timely manner is what I really need to work on and you've definitely gotten better.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think like yeah Look how much it helps you just writing things down
- 30:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I made it long as this yesterday and now, like, there's only three things that didn't get done on that, but I'm the type of person that I have to write things down on a physical, I love a good pen and just a note pad, something to write on and every day, I don't keep it, like every day, I like to rip it out.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_03]: I like to rip it up and throw it out, but also,
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: I do have a small little red book that I feel like, um, keeping... I think you need something that flips up, not something that opens like a book.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, something about that all I know is that I love writing it down Versus like putting it in my notes app.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't like that something about physically crossing off in writing I have beautiful handwriting.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's so good.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_03]: It's just really sad.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_03]: I love writing stuff.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?
- 31:33[SPEAKER_03]: So I feel like it just I need to get you need to get some good.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_00]: We can go to like a stationary store or something and get like a nice like that's your designated to do list notebook
- 31:44[SPEAKER_03]: But it would be nice.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_03]: I don't like the fact that I tore out.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_03]: I want to keep it.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it would be something that has a spiral.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, not necessarily, I don't even really know what you mean by spiral, but I think I love, I love to just know that everything that's been flipped has already been done.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: This is what I'm saying.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_00]: The binding is a spiral, like a metal spiral, so it just flips over.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: Versus the one you have right now, it's attached at the top, so you can flip it over, but it's still like thick.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you know those the binding with like the metal spiral and then it flips completely over Yeah, but it's still attached.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: So I think we need to find you like a good sized like you really like the size you have right now for that notebook So something that size but with the spiral binding But he doesn't also necessarily have to be the spiral as as as as long as I can flip the page comfortably
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that one is the perfect one because it flips all the way, right?
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: The other one that don't have that is like they always kind of like don't flip all the way and then I think you'll just end up ripping it out.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we'll we'll see, but I love it and I do bet.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_03]: I do bet and I have been on this really my shit lately.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I like it.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_00]: I like it.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_03]: And I have to give you some thanks to as well because you are the to do list person.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_00]: Even though I have not.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_03]: You haven't done that in a minute.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_00]: Haven't done what to do with, even though I've been getting my life, my things done.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: I have not used it to do it.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: You are.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_00]: I've gotten lost in it a little bit.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: I have my to do list.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: I like to do like a weekly one where I write down everything that I need to do.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_00]: And then I like check things off through the week.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: And then I updated the week the next week.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_00]: Because usually I like work on a weekly basis.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: Then I like for each video, I write everything that I have to do for that video.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: It would be like planning the video scheduling when I'm going to film it.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: Then if I film like Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, then I'll write like film Tuesday, Wednesday, and then I write import video clips and then I do edit, then I do music.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: Then I do like captions and I do, you know, I like write everything step by step.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't just write edit vlog.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: I write all the steps of editing the vlog and it helps me, but I haven't done it recently because that in itself is work, I don't know, it is time to have what to do list honestly.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_03]: It is work where you're a big like Google calendar person.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, my calendar is not, it's just not my thing.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's your next step.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how to use it feels.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't feel, I don't know if natural is the word, but I need to find like some, some, some other type of calendar.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_00]: If you like physical things, you can have the physical calendar, but have it where you're actually going to see it, and that you're actually writing things on it.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_03]: The one that I have in my room, the mistake I made with that, is that I was writing would a big marker.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like in each square of whatever day it is, the same as the 14th, I can only write two things because the pen that I'm using, I mean the the marker that I using, you're so thick, yeah.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_03]: That I can only write like YouTube video, you know?
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean the thing about that is that you can't move things around.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_03]: I can't, oh I see it.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_03]: I can write it with a pen.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_03]: Like a regular pen.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_03]: That's what I should have done for this month.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: But you also need to put it somewhere where you see it.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_00]: You put it like in the back of the door.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_03]: No, I see it every time I, well, are you talking about like on the go?
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: Just like in the house.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, are you going to let me put a calendar here in the living room?
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to get put it on the fridge.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_03]: This is the reason why I put it behind the door.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_03]: So it doesn't bother us.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I don't know you guys and then on top what no, I was gonna say just speaking of like putting things up on the walls and stuff like that We've been getting a lot of frames.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_03]: We we have a lot of things that we can put up now.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, um, it's just about We decided to wear to put it decide to wear to put it, but then also I think we are we're overthinking it You just gotta do it.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
- 35:58[SPEAKER_03]: is gonna do it and we are gonna do it this weekend.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_03]: I'm dedicated to really finishing this apartment by Sunday.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like a decline.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: Why is Sunday?
- 36:08[SPEAKER_03]: No, like having things up.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_03]: We can take it out.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_03]: We can make new holes, but yeah, I'm excited.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, actually this reminds me, I have to go pick up that thing that I bought.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_03]: What?
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: This other like art frame.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: Remember I bought it and then I had five days to pick it up.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, where's it at it's in green point.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_00]: I got to check the day that I bought it.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was Wednesday Damn.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: So Thursday Friday Saturday, so I mean, it's still gonna be there like you paid for it Like what are they gonna say you didn't pick it up so you know, but I also want to be mindful, you know Because usually something sells you want to pick it up, so they replace it with something else
- 36:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's furniture stores.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_03]: I've been more into furniture stores, and I know that's something you appreciate because to be honest with the apartment stuff, a lot of the stuff, Alia, is the one looking and showing me baby what you think about this, what I think about it.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like I just got this one pillow that Yoni's holding that isn't in a great pillow.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_03]: No, it is.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_03]: It is.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm never the one showing you something and asking for your opinions and I feel like I showed you like a few things this week.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: Why do you show me?
- 37:15[SPEAKER_03]: Like the Airbnb that we wanted to run out.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: What is that to do with their apartment?
- 37:19[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it's showing something.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_00]: No, that doesn't qualify and it's going to be safe.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_03]: I haven't not shown you anything for our apartment.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like, home stuff?
- 37:27[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think for me, the reason that is because I know... I don't have a lot of... I don't know if it's something on Instagram and show me.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like, for InSpo.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_00]: But you don't look up, you know, like, we want to get a new couch.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_00]: say good bye to this great couch if you're on patreon or used to watch us on youtube like uh you know we have this great couch this great couch will no longer be here very very soon i'm trying to get rid of the shit i'm over at all i get any more we're never gonna have a great couch again no i want i want to get like a dark color significant color i'm not talking like yellow or anything but i wanted to say well brown black maybe something this kind of matches the wall a little bit to just blends in
- 38:08[SPEAKER_00]: And we have enough white when it's more like significant big large pieces and also I think it's too skinny You need something that's like plushy like thick.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're gonna say something.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was gonna say well the reason why I think the reason why I don't look up a lot of stuff for the house and for the apartment is because I know what I have to Contribute which is like or what I have to do is basically have so many prints that need to be made for the apartment
- 38:37[SPEAKER_03]: So, the other prints and art pieces, I'm okay to like let you kind of decide, what do you want?
- 38:47[SPEAKER_03]: Because also you film YouTube videos and a lot of this going to be in your YouTube videos and it needs to be when you watch your videos or when you edit your videos, you need to like what you see in the background.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but of course we also both live here and for us, it's not a matter of like I again I will not buy anything that you also don't like that way I show you everything that I'm like, oh, this is nice or I like this or I like that But I guess I didn't show you this pillow that I know you did it
- 39:14[SPEAKER_03]: I don't like that much.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you do stuff it.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_03]: But I think just to be just to save more time, I don't want to waste a lot of time looking for stuff that you like, I don't like, I don't like, I don't like.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_03]: It's just interesting because when we see like, I would rather you show me the things that you like.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: And then you tell, and I can just say yes or no.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, okay, that's fair.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we already do that.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: So we have a good system.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and I don't, I mean, I did show you this pillow, but I'm thinking it's a pillow and you like, I knew you were going to like it.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_03]: Why, why did you think I was going to like it?
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: Because it's got just an inch by It's a really nice, like, lumber, uh, not lumber, lumber.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: It's like for your lumber.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's what it's called because it's like for the lower back.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, it's, it's actually really good.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a nice move.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_03]: That'd be heard in some sounds or something.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_03]: You would mention the couch before, and I want to say something.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_03]: The couch.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, what was that supposed to say?
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I was saying, yeah, this keeps happening in this episode.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_00]: I was saying that we need to change it because it's Graham over it.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_03]: This is the last time we're going to see this couch.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, no, you're, no, we said this out on the next couch.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I get ahead of myself.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_03]: Until we see the, the until we get the new couch.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_00]: I have found a couch that we need to go check out in person.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: Just saying, no.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, cool.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_03]: We'll go.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_03]: When do you want to go?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: Sunday tomorrow.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, um The God is serious.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: No, sorry.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so sorry.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_03]: I have to rub Did you you did that had it and then you just wanted to say that we got a ghost see this thing tomorrow Okay I'm sorry
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: You forgot?
- 40:59[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_03]: And I had it until you interrupted me.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_00]: You're lying.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_00]: We were talking about the grey couch.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_03]: On you shut up now.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_03]: On YouTube.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_03]: We made it.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_03]: We made a small comeback.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_03]: And we're not going to post full YouTube videos.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_03]: Just yeah.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_03]: I do want to get back to the full YouTube videos.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody been saying that the message on YouTube, the YouTube community.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_03]: Shout out to everybody who subscribed.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_03]: And be watching for the past two years, but I think what we're going to do now is show you guys what our Patreon looks like.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_03]: So they're going to be very small clips from their our 30 minute episodes that we put out on Patreon every week, every weekend.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_03]: And it's just going to be a little preview.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's going to be like, it could be five minutes.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_03]: It could be eight minutes.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_03]: It could be not probably not less than five minutes because we want to show you like what the vibe is.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_03]: So if you want to go too far, you'll choose like clips.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's like a specific topic or conversation moment of the episode.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_03]: So if you want to go ahead to our YouTube, if you've never subscribed, you should go subscribe because we're going to be putting out clips from Patreon.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_03]: And if you like it, you can go over to Patreon and sign up.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_03]: It's right there.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: The link is linked everywhere.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, it's a good time over there.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and this is the perfect segue for us to say that we're going to help over the Patreon.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: And since we've completely changed the topic of today's episode, I don't know what we're talking about on there, but we're going to figure it out.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_03]: And yeah, but this episode, everything we talked about today is what's like on our minds this week.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, I don't think this is like,
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I mean, yeah, it's like, it's another off topic episode.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_03]: No, I know, but I'm saying that is that because a lot of people been telling us to do more of these episodes, like in real time, like what's what's on your mind and what are you guys up to?
- 42:54[SPEAKER_00]: Closet.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_03]: So the first 10 minutes was straight closet talk, but we had to get it out.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, because you guys, it was like the biggest thing this week, because we had to like literally build a piece of wood that was supposed to be part of the thing.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: It should have seen the way that we were like carving the wood with the drill.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_00]: The drill is made to make holes.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_00]: And we were carving the wood as if we were making a sculpture.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: with the drill.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we were doing.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_01]: Did you take a photo of you?
- 43:22[SPEAKER_00]: You took a photo of a film photo and then I took a film photo of you when you were like drilling.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, but it's not.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_03]: I found photos that we can post on the story from this, right?
- 43:29[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_00]: We were in it.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_00]: We were, I was, I was so frustrated.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't even, I wasn't even thinking about my phone or nothing.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but I was having a good time trying to figure it out.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_03]: It was frustrating, but it was like the project like we we have to figure it out And we did yeah, some very proud of us and we're gonna finish this closet.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're gonna finish this closet is amazing We don't even know what we're gonna put in it.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_00]: Which is a good thing because that means there's there's space for us to just Put things away the point of this closet was to have storage for things like towels sheets maybe like
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like a throw blanket or something, just random things that are out that you want to put away, but you need it, you know.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_03]: When you guys, thanks for listening.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_03]: She stuck around.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_03]: We appreciate you.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: We love you and head over to Patreon to check it out if you never did before.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: You can see a preview of every single episode to just like see the vibe.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: And you can also be a free member.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: And then that allows you to see whenever we
- 44:31[SPEAKER_00]: post a new episode, but you need to have the actual membership to have access, and there's two tiers, so There's also that.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot to check it on there, and there's a bunch of chats and little channels on there We'll talk to each other random BTS videos moments right before we record the podcast.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_03]: What happens then?
- 44:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah definitely shouldn't.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: So definitely go check it out.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to record that now.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_00]: So talk later.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: But thanks for thanks for listening to us ramble about our week and ram things that happen this week because we kind of just needed to get off our chest.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: You really felt that way.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm saying this is Loki kind of like therapy.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, bye guys.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: Talk later.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_03]: talk later, talk tomorrow, talk next week, and sorry for the late episode.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_03]: I know the regular program is Wednesday.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, clearly we're kind of off.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_03]: But, yeah, everything.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_03]: And I want to tell you last, we'll just be very last thing.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_03]: That is the cool thing about being independent.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's the best.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_03]: We, every week, you will get an episode.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_03]: It might be like a daily or two, but it's coming out that week.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_03]: We've never missed like a whole week, like, unless we just said that we take time off.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_03]: There is no, it will barely even do that.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_00]: We, I don't know.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_03]: So we apologize for the inconsistency.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_03]: I know for some people do Wednesday was like the walk with her dog day.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_03]: I mean you walk your dog every day But um, people have a routine and I know how convenient it is to know when a podcast is coming out like I wish you could do like Okay Wednesday 12 p.m.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_03]: Whatever time it is wherever you're at you know that if you look at it If you look at it, what are you doing?
- 46:18[SPEAKER_00]: No, sorry.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm listening
- 46:20[SPEAKER_03]: that it's coming out at that time on that day so week by week I'm trying to figure that out but there's so much going on that it is it's challenging so luckily we are independent and there's nobody that's gonna fire us
- 46:37[SPEAKER_00]: or get mad at us, or get mad at us, unless you get mad at us.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_03]: But that is still the goal.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_03]: That is still the goal to have a specific day, which was Wednesday.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_03]: And we never really had a time specifically.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's too much.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_00]: Clearly we can't.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's too much to put on us.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_03]: But I feel like if we can do that, that all.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, also it's just a team of two.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_03]: So.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, we were doing our best over here.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_00]: So again, we appreciate you for listening to today's episode, even though it was later than usual, but hopefully it was just as entertaining.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_00]: And next week, we will have the episode that we were planning to record today and to get episode.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_03]: Can we just sound what it is from the show?
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, because that it's gonna keep them wanting to see what it is.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God, are you that stuff of podcast?
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's marketing right there.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_00]: We gotta play the game a little bit.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, okay, okay, if you want to know what next week's episode is you got a twin-in I mean, yeah, don't see it.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: We got it.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, bye guys.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_00]: Bye
