Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: So I see this showing up with a lot of women in business.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: And it shows up in this one foot in, one foot out thing.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: There's this unconscious way that they are waiting for someone else to give them permission or approval so that they can finally jump in with both feet.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: The reason why I've been able to grow my business so quickly and sustain five figure months since the very beginning is because of these trauma clearing tools that I've created.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: And I've watched dozens and dozens of women at this point use them as well to grow their businesses, start their businesses, discover their purpose, and double, triple their incomes.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: It really does come down to a lot of these deeper things from childhood that you're just probably not aware of.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: That once you become aware of and you shift it, things just happen naturally.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Now let's dive in.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: So this week I have something really special for you.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: So I did my first LinkedIn live today, actually, and I am putting it on the podcast for you because I thought it was so great, actually.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: I really just broke things down very simply for you and talked about three really simple ways that childhood trauma can show up as a barrier to business growth.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: And these are things that I'm sure all of you have experienced at one point or another.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: And I show you how they relate back to these deeper beliefs and wounds from childhood, and then obviously what you can do to shift it.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: So I loved this talk, and I think you guys are gonna love it too.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: I am doing a lot more over on LinkedIn.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: So if you are there, definitely connect with me over there.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: It was definitely not something that I intuitively wanted to do, but it's a very different platform, and I am building a little audience over there and networking over there, and I'm actually enjoying it for the most part, even though sometimes it feels weird and stale.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: I totally get that.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: But it's also a great way to make authentic connections and also the thing that's cool about it is it's all people who are wanting to do things with business and career.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Whereas like Instagram and Facebook is like social media in general, and it doesn't always have that focus towards business.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: So I like that about LinkedIn, and I've also made some really great connections over there.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: So if you are on LinkedIn, then definitely connect with me there or just enjoy this episode.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: So before we dive in, just a couple quick things.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: Right now, you can still join the mothership and get the bonus 60-minute call with me.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: I've had how many women?
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: I think four women join in the last like month.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: And every time someone says yes to joining the mothership, it literally feels like the greatest gift to me because it's like a gift to themselves because they're saying yes to a year of committing to this work and really committing to the transformation.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: And I just feel so honored that they are entrusting me to support them for a year with this very deep and very vulnerable work that is not easy to do.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm not gonna sugarcoat it.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Like I try to make this work as efficient and fast and easy as possible for you, but it also takes courage to look at things that you might not have wanted to look at so that you can come out on the other side as the version of you that you know you're meant to be.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: And that takes courage, that takes willingness, it takes dedication.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: And every time someone says yes to themselves in that capacity, I truly feel like reverence.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Like I feel like, wow, this is a gift.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: And I feel so grateful for it.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: So the mothership is such a powerful space.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: It's a year commitment because you wouldn't be able to get through everything if you weren't in it for a year.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: But you get access to all of my programs, all trainings, all masterclasses, everything that I run live, you're included in, you know, other than my mastermind and my certification, you're in everything else.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Then you get a monthly support call with me.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: You also get a live breastwork session with one of my metamorphosis method certified breastworkers.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: There is a telegram chat for support.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: It's a ton of support.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: Usually end up, I think, averaging like having four or five calls a month because depending on what program is running, plus, you get the support call with me.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: It's a lot of support for$555 a month.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: It's so much value and it's such an incredible space.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: And the women in there are doing such profound work.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: I'm just so proud of the results that everyone's had so far in this round of the metamorphosis.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: It's incredible.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: The shifts in their businesses and just the shifts in their relationships and their lives in general.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: Like I could cry.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: It's truly incredible.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: And also, I have the mastermind that I'm running, turning point, that is a four-week mastermind that is only for the women in the mothership.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna be going on a deep dive in November where we're gonna be working very closely together to take you past that turning point, that one thing that you haven't been able to shift, that one place you haven't been able to get past, that one challenge you have not quite been able to wrap your head around, you're gonna shift it in this mastermind.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: And that's only for the ladies in the mothership.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna be on weekly calls, we're gonna be talking in Telegram every day, and we're really going to go deep into what is that one thing and having you shift it.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: So I'm really excited for that too.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: We also have real results coming up in October.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: And then we're also gonna be doing breathwork, money, and receiving before the end of the year, which is where I teach you how to use breathwork to enter into this new paradigm of receiving support from the universe in a very profound way.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: You'll receive that program, you receive pre-recorded trainings, and then I give you messages every day in Telegram, which is really fun.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: I love doing things in Telegram.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: It's so fun, and everyone gets such so much out of it.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: And then I have the certification coming up in February.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: I can't believe this round is almost finished.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh, another thing I could cry about, but I won't go on and on.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: I'm changing the certification around a little bit this time.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be six months and the structure is gonna be a little bit different, the price is gonna be a little bit different.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: So if you would like to learn my methodology to facilitate breath work and use my trauma clearing tools with your clients so that your clients can create permanent results like mine, then you want to come into the certification.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: And if you're a business owner, if you are a coach, if you're a business coach, a health coach, a fitness coach, a relationship coach, any kind of coach, anywhere where you work with clients to get results, you want to do the certification because I will show you how to help people go way beyond mindset, way beyond just shifting a perspective or a behavior to getting to the root of why that behavior is happening and shifting it permanently.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: So your clients get mind-blowing results and they keep coming back and they tell all their friends about you, then you want to be in the certification.
- 8:26SPEAKER_01: So if you're interested in that, please just email me at infoteleasebreaths.com and let me know you're interested and we'll hop on a call.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: So I'm super excited about that.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: And then I also have a new 12-month mastermind coming up called Zone of Genius.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: Right now I'm just selling it to my current clients, but that will be coming forward soon.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: And that's gonna be a mastermind where I focus on supporting you in growing your business through the lens of dissolving your childhood relational trauma.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: So I am gonna leave it there.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: Please reach out to me with any questions.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: As always, don't forget to rate and review the show.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: If you have not yet reviewed the show, you can send me a screenshot of your review and you will receive a$250 credit to um anything else in my world.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: And it's a great thing to apply to either the first months of the mothership or real results.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: That's a great place to apply it because then real results becomes like$200 or something like that.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: So that's a great thing to do as well.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: I'm sending you lots of love and enjoy this episode.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: Welcome everyone.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Today I'm gonna talk specifically about childhood relational trauma as it relates to business.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: And this is not something that you would necessarily normally think when you're growing a business, but pretty much 99% of the women that I work with are wanting to grow a business or they have a business or they're thinking about starting a business, and they have an amazing idea, an amazing talent, an amazing ability.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: They understand how to run a business, they know about marketing, they know about sales, they've learned a ton of strategies.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: But for whatever reason, something is stopping them from either growing in the way that they desire or from moving forward with all of these ideas and putting them into action.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: There's something that always feels like it is standing in the way or making it feel like they are pushing a boulder up a hill or drudging through mud.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: And pretty much 99.9% of the time, it has nothing to do with not knowing enough.
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: It has nothing to do with whether or not your work is good enough and everything to do with unconscious beliefs and decisions that you made in childhood that you are not aware of.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: And a lot of times these beliefs can go as far back as before you even had words, right?
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: So we don't really have conscious linear thoughts until we're about five years old.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: So before that, a lot of the memories that we have or experiences that we have will be imprinted on the psyche as energetic imprints or feelings versus linear cognitive thoughts.
- 11:21SPEAKER_01: So a lot of what we're up against when it comes to dissolving and clearing these deeper things that happened in childhood goes way beyond just the thinking mind and much more into the feeling body and the emotional body.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: And this is something that I help people get to and understand and understand how this relates to what they're experiencing right now.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: I've helped dozens of women at this point dissolve their childhood relational wounding to either start their businesses or take their businesses to the next level.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: And today I'm gonna share with you three ways that you will know if you have some kind of childhood relational wounding that's stopping you from growing your business.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: And I just want to say really quickly before I get going here, what do I mean by childhood relational wounding?
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna illustrate that for you more as I go into my three examples.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: But what I mean by that is when you were growing up, if there was something that you needed from your environment, something that you needed from your parents that you did not get, it will cause some sort of wounding, some sort of void, and some sort of decision or belief that you created about yourself and the world as a result.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: So what I mean by that is say you needed your parent to be able to be present with you and hold space for your emotions.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: But because your parent was going through their own traumas, their own pain, their own stress, they were not able to be there for you in the way that you needed.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: So what would happen is as a young child, you would feel that instead of saying, wow, why isn't my parent here for me?
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: Because as a child, you don't have the ability to do that.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: You know that something doesn't feel good, but you wouldn't know what it was.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: So as a child, you would internalize the belief that there's something wrong with you.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: And that maybe if you were better, then your parent would be able to give you what you actually need.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: Or if you were better, then your parent would want to be around you more or want to be more present with you.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: And this is typically what happens with children is that we internalize, and this is all in the subconscious, by the way, you don't realize you're doing it, but you internalize the feeling of it must be my fault.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: There must be something wrong with me, it must be that I'm not good enough, it must be that I just have to do better, or I have to be different, or I have to be someone other than who I am in order to receive the love and connection and nurturing that I desire.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: And this is very common for most people, although it will have a different flavor for different people.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna give three examples of things that will be happening in your business that could show you that you might have one of these things that you need to look at.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: And when you do, it will feel way easier to move forward and grow your business, whether you're looking to take it to the next level, whether you're looking to finally get it off the ground, or if you're thinking about, can I really start a business?
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: Is this something I can really do?
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: And you're questioning it, once I go through these three things, you'll probably have a good idea of the fact that you actually want to do this, right?
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: And it's really just some of this childhood stuff that's getting in the way.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: And the more quickly we can get to the core of it, to the root of it, the easier it is to shift.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: And this is one of the places that I see so many coaches and clients get really stuck and not be able to move forward is because what a lot of people are doing is trying to change a behavior or a mindset.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: And sometimes that works.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: I have a background as a school counselor, I have a master's degree in counseling psychology.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: I was a school counselor working with traumatized children for over a decade.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: And one of the things that I always notice with kids is usually when you try to incentivize them to change a behavior, it will work for a little bit and you'll get some success with it.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: Maybe you do one of those behavior charts and you reward them at the end of the week if they did the behavior every day, then they get candy at the end of the week or they get an extra recess or whatever it is.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: But nine times out of 10, unless you continue to reward them, and even if you do continue to reward them, they are not going to be able to maintain that new behavior.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: And the reason why is because we are not addressing the reason why they're having the behavior in the first place.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: We're just trying to change the behavior.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: And with children and with you, behavior is actually sending us a message.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: It's telling us some sort of information that we need to know about what's going on within us that needs to be reconciled.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: And kids are doing the same thing, right?
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: When they're acting out in school or they are not listening to the teacher, typically what's going on is they are attempting to send you a message through their behavior that something is wrong, they're not happy, they need help, they need extra support.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: But as a child, they don't know how to verbalize that or say it.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: So they try to tell you through their behavior.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: So from that lens, as an adult, if you are attempting to just change a behavior, right?
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: If you're attempting to just change, oh, I don't feel motivated to move forward with my business.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: I must just be lazy and I need to change this behavior and move myself forward.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: That might work for a while, but eventually you're going to burn yourself out because you're pushing yourself to do something without getting to the cause, the reason why you don't feel motivated in the first place.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: And that has everything to do with something in your childhood and nothing to do with you being lazy or not capable.
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: Because if you have the drive and the idea and the wherewithal and the vision to start a business, it means that you're capable of doing it.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: It's just all of these other hidden things that can get in the way.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: I'm going to go over now the three things that you might be experiencing that will allow you to know that you have some childhood relational trauma that's slowing down your growth.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: The first one is without further ado, one foot in, one foot out.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: So this is very common.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: And I see this with a lot of the women I work with, or a lot of the women who come to me and just with colleagues as well, especially when you start your own business.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: I'll see women who have what I call one foot in and one foot out.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: And what that means is that you want to do this.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: You start moving forward with it, and you have all these great ideas and you start sharing your offers, you start sharing your business with people, you share on social media, you start building your email list and you start really moving forward.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: And then something stops you, right?
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: Maybe you feel rejected because you put yourself out there and no one's responding.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: Or maybe you had a really good session with somebody and then you got scared that you couldn't maintain it and you kind of pulled back and you hid for a little while.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: It's this energy of moving forward and then stepping out.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: And this is something that I see a lot with people.
- 18:56SPEAKER_01: And I wanted to bring it forward here because I think this is really important to understand why this is happening.
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: And it has nothing to do with you being lazy or you not being capable, and everything to do with one of the very common patterns that I see with women in childhood, which is the pattern of waiting for permission or approval.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: This is very common and it shows up for everyone in one way or another.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: And this is what it is.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: When you're a young child, if you did not receive the acknowledgement that you needed from your parents, if you were told that you had to be a certain way in order for them to approve of you or for them to love you, or if you only got praise for doing certain things that they deemed worthy, like, you know, maybe your parents really wanted you to play the piano.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: And the only way that you were gonna get love and support and approval from them is if you played the piano.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: So then you just played the piano because that's what you knew you needed to do in order to get your need for love met.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: So when we're kids, we are very intuitively aware that in order to survive and thrive, we need somebody to love and care for us.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: And that is true across the board.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: If a baby does not have love and care, it will die, literally.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: So as kids, we know that we need to make sure we have that close connection with somebody who loves and cares for us.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: So if we see that the only way we're going to get that love and connection is if we play the piano, then we're gonna play the piano, even if it's something that you really don't want to do.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: In fact, it's the most unnatural thing for you.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: Maybe you really want to play football and that's all you want to do, that's all you're interested in.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: But if you do that, your parents will not give you the love that you need, right?
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: So what happens is because you felt that you only got approval because you were doing the thing that they wanted you to do, and just you being you was not okay.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: It was not going to be approved of, and it wasn't going to be something that you got love for, then you decided that who you truly authentically were was not okay.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: It was wrong, it was bad.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: So what happens is you end up being in this perpetual state of waiting for some kind of approval or permission to finally be yourself.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: And this is all unconscious, right?
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: We don't realize we're doing this, but on a deeper level, there's a part of you that's waiting for one or both of your parents to finally tell you that they approve of you, that they see you for who you really are, and that you finally have permission to be who you are.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: So I see this showing up with a lot of women in business, and it shows up in this one foot in, one foot out thing.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Because there's this unconscious way that they are waiting for someone else to give them permission or approval so that they can finally jump in with both feet.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: And this is something that is very common.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: So if you feel this sense of kind of waiting, like it's almost like you need to wait until you finally know that you're good enough or you finally know that what you're doing has value, or there's some kind of marker that you put on the business of like, okay, well, when I get to this point, then I'll feel like this is worthy, or then I'll feel like I can put both feet in it.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: A lot of people do that with a number, right?
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: Where it's like, okay, once I'm making$10,000 a month, then this business will be viable and then I'll be able to jump in with both feet.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: But what ends up happening is that you end up putting yourself in this perpetual waiting game hamster wheel scenario where you're always waiting for some kind of permission or approval.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: And what ends up happening is this one foot in, one foot out thing.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: And I hate to tell you to be the bearer of bad news, but no one is going to ever give you that permission or approval.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: That is only going to be given by you.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: But once you give that to yourself, then it becomes much easier to jump in with both feet because you are no longer waiting for someone else to give you permission or approval to finally move forward with what it is that you want in life and to finally be authentically you.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Because the truth of the matter is when you start a business that is your work, your personal brand, the truth of who you are, it is vulnerable to put yourself out there because you are like, this is the truth of who I am.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: And if you on a very deep level believe that there's something fundamentally wrong with the truth of who you are, then it's gonna feel very uncomfortable to fully put yourself out there.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: And you will be waiting for someone else to tell you that they approve or that you finally have permission to fully be who you are.
- 24:09SPEAKER_01: So this is what most commonly causes this one foot-in, one foot out scenario is unconsciously on a very deep level, waiting for this permission or approval.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: So what do we do about it?
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: Well, it starts with being aware of it, right?
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: And in the work that I do with my clients, my inner child process, and all of the trauma clearing tools that I've created in the metamorphosis method, I show you how to fully reconcile this and be able to move from a place where you're able to confidently dive in with both feet and move from a place of giving yourself permission to fully be who you are without unconsciously waiting for it from other people.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: And then it feels so much easier to authentically be yourself because you're not always thrown off by what people think or comments people make or whether or not people are seeing you, or whether or not people are liking your posts, or whether or not they're responding.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: If you are always caught up in that and always worried about that, you're gonna have a really hard time moving forward in business.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: So you want to be moving from this place of full permission to fully be you.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: And that starts with reconciling this deeper place within you, i.e.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: your inner child, which is what I specialize in.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: That's one foot in, one foot out.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: Now I'm gonna move to the second one.
- 25:32SPEAKER_01: And please let me know if you experience any of these because I would love to know.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: Questioning if you have what it takes.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: So I see this very commonly with women in business is you get moving, or maybe you're just thinking about getting moving, or maybe you've started and then you get to this place where it feels challenging, right?
- 25:55SPEAKER_01: Maybe the thing that you put out there, you thought it was gonna have a really great response and it didn't, or you started selling your first offer and it was crickets, or you asked a bunch of people if they were interested in, you know, doing a session with you and no one said yes.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: So it's like you had this momentum, you had this excitement, you started moving forward, you started implementing all of the amazing strategy that you learned, you started implementing all of the amazing sales ideas that you learned, you have a beautiful offer, a beautiful sales page, all of the things you hire somebody to make you an amazing website, your social media is on point, and then nothing's really happening.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: And then you start to question if should I really be doing this?
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: Is the fact that this isn't working the way that I thought, does that mean that I shouldn't be doing this?
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: And that is very common.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: And I see a lot of women stop right here because they think this shouldn't be so hard.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: If I was meant to do this, it would be a lot easier and it would be working a lot more easily if I was meant to do this.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: And the truth of the matter is that's not actually true.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: And what's happening here, if you come up against this point where you're questioning if you have what it takes, this is directly related to the pattern of not being good enough or questioning whether you are good enough.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: And this is a very common core wound for people that will come up at various points in the journey.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: And most of the time, we would have created a belief or thought that we're not good enough or we're not enough based on something that happened in childhood, whether it was the way that your parents related to you, the way they related to each other, or, and this is probably the most common yet mostly not talked about one, is what your parents modeled to you by the way they related to themselves.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: So a lot of what we learn growing up is through modeling.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: And that's why when parents always ask me, what can I say to my kids so that they don't take on the same patterns that I did, or what can I say to my kids so that they don't have the same problems that I did?
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: And my answer is nothing.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: You're not gonna say anything to them because kids learn through modeling, they learn through feeling your energy.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: They rarely listen to what you tell them.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: And if you're a parent, you'll probably agree with me on that because it's true.
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: But they do learn through modeling.
- 28:31SPEAKER_01: So when someone asks me, what do I have to say to my son or daughter so they don't repeat the same patterns as me, I say you don't say anything to them.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: You do your inner work.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: And when you do your inner work, they benefit, they will feel it and they will change.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: And also you will be modeling to them that you value yourself and you value your own growth and the way that you feel in your life.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: And that will model to them that they should value themselves.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: So, my whole point for sharing that is when you were growing up, if what was modeled to you is, for example, especially as women, is a mother who put everyone else above her, who was constantly sacrificing her own needs and her own well-being for everyone else, and who abandoned her own needs, betrayed her own needs so that her kids could be okay, so that she could cater to her husband or even her job, what was modeled to you is that valuing yourself is not important.
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: And that would create an unconscious belief that you are not valuable, you're not worthy, you're not good enough, or you're not enough.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: And these unconscious beliefs, however, in whatever flavor they are and how they were modeled to you, will show up when you move forward with the business because you will have to face anywhere where you believe that you're not good enough or you're not enough.
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: If you come up against this point where you're like, I don't know if my work is good enough.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: I don't know if I have what it takes.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: It does not mean you should stop.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: It's simply an opportunity to look at what thoughts or beliefs you have that you are not enough or you are not good enough, and then reconciling those and shifting those and dissolving the pain, the emotional wounding, the event or trauma around that, depending on what it is for you.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: And this is all of the things that I teach in the metamorphosis and in my inner child process is how to really go in there and do this and do it permanently.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: But once you go back to the origination point of the thought of I'm not enough or I'm not good enough, and you shift it, then if you come up against a roadblock, that's all it feels like is a roadblock.
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: And it all it feels like is, oh, okay, how can I move through this?
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: Now I've come up against this.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: What do I need to do differently?
- 31:03SPEAKER_01: How do I need to change what I'm doing?
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: What can I learn from this and how can I move forward?
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: Instead of coming up against a roadblock and automatically thinking that it means that there's something wrong with you.
- 31:13SPEAKER_01: Because when you have an unconscious belief or fear that you're not good enough or you're not enough, what ends up happening is anytime you come up against some kind of roadblock or challenge in your business, you will take it to mean that there's something wrong with you.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: And that is a really challenging way to do business because business is challenging.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: There's always gonna be unforeseen things that come up.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: There's gonna be ways that you're gonna be called forward to grow that you can't even foresee or know about right now.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: And if you take every single one of those things to mean there's something wrong with you, then it's going to really slow you down.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: So this is something you wanna be able to clock and you wanna be able to notice every time it comes up that typically if you come up against a challenge, there's a solution for it.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: And it has nothing to do with whether or not you are valuable, worthy, or good enough, or whether your work is good enough.
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: And if you can extract that from the equation and handle that separately, which is exactly what I teach people to do, then you will move forward a lot more quickly.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: So this is something that it's very important to notice.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: And I know this from experience because pretty much the first few years of my business, everything that happened, I took it as there must be something wrong with me, and then would spin out into trying to figure out what's wrong with me that I need to fix so that I can be successful.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: And then once I realized it had nothing to do with that, and I really reconciled and dissolved the belief that I'm not enough or I'm not good enough, then I got to move forward so much more quickly and I was able to be a lot more present to make decisions that will move my business forward rather than sitting in this feeling of what's wrong with me that I have to fix so that I can be good enough to run a business because that's not how you want to be operating.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: So this is a really, really important one.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: And then the last one, and this one I think is very common as well, is procrastination and lack of motivation.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: So this is something that I see so many women coming up against, where it's like you have all this momentum, all this momentum, you have all these great ideas, and you start putting it out there, you start implementing everything, you start moving forward.
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: And then again, you hit this wall where you're either not motivated or you are procrastinating.
- 33:41SPEAKER_01: And then you just think that you're lazy and you think there's something wrong with you again.
- 33:47SPEAKER_01: And that is not the case.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: This particular pattern is directly related to what I call the abandonment wound.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: And when I say the abandonment wound, it is not just meaning that you were actually physically abandoned as a child.
- 34:04SPEAKER_01: The abandonment wound can show up in many different ways.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: It doesn't have to be just actually being physically abandoned.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: It can also be emotional abandonment and it can also be emotional neglect.
- 34:16SPEAKER_01: So, what I mean by that is if you had parents who are not capable of showing up for you emotionally, if they were not tuned in to your emotions, right?
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: So maybe they were there for you physically, they provided all that you needed, you know, food, shelter, they drove to your soccer games and they did all the things that you needed, but they were not there emotionally, where you didn't feel safe to get emotionally supported, or you didn't feel like you could lean in and talk to them, or you felt like every time you tried to talk to them, it would be all about them and you didn't really feel like there was space for your emotions.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: That is a form of abandonment, right?
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: Because there's some need that you had that they ignored or were not available for.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: I just want to make this clear with all of the work that I do.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: It's never about blaming your parents.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: It's their fault that I'm like this.
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: That's not what this is about at all.
- 35:15SPEAKER_01: It is about taking full responsibility for what your experience was, having nothing to do with them, right?
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: And you can do all of this work to dissolve all of these things from childhood without ever having to speak to your parents about it at all.
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: In fact, that's what I recommend.
- 35:33SPEAKER_01: I always tell people not to speak to their parents about it.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: It actually just muddies the waters.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: You can resolve all of these things within yourself, and then your relationships with them will get way better and they won't even really understand why, but you never have to talk to them about it, right?
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: So this is not about blaming anyone.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: This is about taking full responsibility and fully acknowledging how you felt as a child, not how you think you should have felt, or not how the adult version of you thinks you felt.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: It's actually about acknowledging how you felt as a child.
- 36:09SPEAKER_01: And I always say to people when we're doing the inner child healing work, is think about the general feeling that you felt in your house growing up.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: The general feeling you felt, whether it was fear or bracing for something bad to happen or feeling judged or just feeling unsupported, whatever that general feeling is, that's gonna be the exact feeling you create in your business 99% of the time.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: And if you can access the part of you that felt that feeling and then go through my process to reconcile it, you will start to grow your business and create a much different version of reality much more quickly because we're addressing what's actually happening versus trying to change circumstances, right?
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: It's like going back to what I said in the beginning about trying to change a behavior without getting to the cause.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: Nine times out of 10, it doesn't really work.
- 37:11SPEAKER_01: So all of these things that I'm teaching you right now are how to get to the cause of why something's happening instead of trying to change a behavior, because changing a behavior, nine times out of 10, it usually doesn't work.
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: Procrastination and lack of motivation typically relates to the abandonment wound.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: And here's why.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: Because we will actually treat ourselves the way that our parents treated us until we get conscious of it and change it.
- 37:37SPEAKER_01: So here's what I mean.
- 37:38SPEAKER_01: Remember, I just talked about how kids learn through modeling.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: While we also learn about how to treat ourselves through modeling.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: So the way that your mother spoke to you, the way that your father spoke to you, the way that your parents treated you, you will model that when you speak to yourself inside your own head.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: So if you think about the way that you might criticize yourself or judge yourself or the way that you're hard on yourself, it probably resembles a lot of the way your parents treated you.
- 38:08SPEAKER_01: This is really important to understand, especially when it comes to this procrastination, lack of motivation thing.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: Because if your parents were not there for you in some way, if they neglected you emotionally or even physically, or abandoned you emotionally or even physically, you will then neglect or abandon yourself.
- 38:29SPEAKER_01: And this is most likely not a conscious thing.
- 38:32SPEAKER_01: You're not aware that you're doing it.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: But procrastination and lack of motivation is usually a result of self-abandonment on some level because you're literally just repeating the same relational patterns that your parents did with you, which is not show up for you in some way.
- 38:51SPEAKER_01: So you learned not to show up for yourself in some way.
- 38:54SPEAKER_01: And that is typically where this procrastination or lack of motivation comes from, is because it feels more familiar to not show up for yourself, even though you want to, but it feels safer not to.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: And there can also be a lot of other things wrapped up in this.
- 39:10SPEAKER_01: There's the fear of being seen, which is very common for most of the women I work with.
- 39:16SPEAKER_01: And that is usually related to a number of different things.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: It really depends on the case.
- 39:21SPEAKER_01: A lot of it is just around not feeling safe to show up in your authenticity because you were told that who you are is wrong or not good enough.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: And there's even can be past life implications to it, which is another whole program that I teach.
- 39:37SPEAKER_01: The point is if you find yourself procrastinating or not motivated to do the things that you know you need to do that are easy.
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: I can't tell you how many times I have women come to me who say, I know everything that I need to do.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: I have a list of all of the things I need to do to get my offer out there or to get my website up or to build my email list, but they're just not doing it.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: And it's like, okay, well, why aren't they doing it?
- 40:07SPEAKER_01: It's not because they're not smart enough.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: It's not because they don't know how.
- 40:10SPEAKER_01: It's not because they don't have what it takes.
- 40:13SPEAKER_01: It's literally because of one of these deeper childhood traumas and most likely has to do with some kind of abandonment wound that you're just not aware of.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: So what happens when we have unconscious wounding and when we have pain from childhood that needs to be healed and reconciled, it will show up in other areas of your life in order to get your attention.
- 40:38SPEAKER_01: So it'll show up inside of your closest relationships, or it will show up as you attempt to grow the business because the business is a very powerful mirror that just shows you the things that you need to shift, heal, reconcile, and grow in order to become the version of you who has the successful business, right?
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: And you're completely capable of it.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: You wouldn't have the idea, you wouldn't have the vision if it wasn't meant for you.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: But the business will call you forward to heal and reconcile those things from childhood in order to fully be this version of you.
- 41:17SPEAKER_01: When you're feeling this lack of motivation or procrastination, it's showing you this part of you from childhood that has felt abandoned, that felt like no one was there for you.
- 41:28SPEAKER_01: And if you can access that and shift that, and I show you exactly how to do that in my inner child healing process, then the lack of motivation and procrastination just naturally goes away.
- 41:40SPEAKER_01: It's not something that you have to change, it's not something that you have to even think about.
- 41:44SPEAKER_01: Because when you heal these things at the core, you never have to worry about changing a behavior because the behavior just naturally changes on its own.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: It just becomes a byproduct of healing the reason why you were doing the behavior in the first place, right?
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: And that's what I feel so passionately about teaching people is once you get to the core, to the root of why it's happening, everything else just lines up.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: It's like pulling something out at the root, right?
- 42:10SPEAKER_01: If you cut off the leaf, then it's just gonna grow back.
- 42:14SPEAKER_01: But if you pull the tree out at the root, then the tree's not gonna grow back, right?
- 42:19SPEAKER_01: Unless you you plant a new one.
- 42:20SPEAKER_01: And that's essentially what we're doing here is we're getting to the root of why you're experiencing what you're experiencing.
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: We're resolving it so that growing a business just becomes easy and natural.
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: It's what you're meant to do.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: And I've seen this with myself.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's really the reason why I've been able to grow my business so quickly and sustain five-figure months since the very beginning is because of these trauma clearing tools that I've created.
- 42:48SPEAKER_01: And I've watched dozens and dozens of women at this point use them as well to grow their businesses, start their businesses, discover their purpose and double, triple their incomes.
- 43:01SPEAKER_01: It really does come down to a lot of these deeper things from childhood that you're just probably not aware of that once you become aware of and you shift it, things just happen naturally.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: If you can relate to this, just definitely let me know.
