- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Uh and the thing is, I I've always had bad allergies, but I I went to the uh the ear nose and throat guy, and he and I and I took this uh allergy uh thing.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah it's like they they they get what you're allergic to, they put it into a uh a vial, yeah, and you put it under your tongue every day for three years and three months.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: What?
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: And it's supposed to yeah, it's supposed to cure your allergies for 20 years.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: And that's what you and you're in the middle of that, or you're starting that?
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: No, I finished it and I didn't have any allergies, and I was like, wow, I can breathe at night, I breathe through my nose, I'm not stuffy headed, I don't have allergies.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: How long ago was that?
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: A few years ago, a few years ago.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: So you had so you did it for three years, crazy, and then you had like relief, like wow, magic medicine is awesome.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: And the doctor comes into the restaurant.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: I say, Hey man, it's so great.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: I love it, it's awesome.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: I can breathe better, I sleep at night, I don't have allergies anymore.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: And I'd asked him, Does anybody ever does it not work?
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: He goes, Sometimes I have to give people extended um right treatments, not very often, but sometimes you have to give somebody extension.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Well, now I'm out here mowing the grass, and it's just as I go out there and mow the grass and I come in and I'm just like stuffy headed, and my eyes are itching and my mouth is itchy.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and and so on Monday I'm calling the doctor and I'm saying, bro, I want my money back.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: You want my money back, bruh.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: It's like$375 every three months for the vial.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: What?
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Say that again.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And insurance doesn't cover it.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: $370.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: What?
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: No, yeah,$100, it's$125 a month.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: A month for the vials.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: For three years for three years.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: And three months, three years and three months.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: First three months you ramp up, then you do it for three years, and then you're cured of your allergies.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Forever.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: Or no, for 20 years.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: But it well, yeah, which is you know, a long time.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's it's not um it's not approved by the uh DEA or what do you call it, the CIA.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, the FBI.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: The FBI, yeah.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: The FBI.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: It's not approved by the the drug administration, FDA.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: But but it's it's works.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: I mean, people do it, it works.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, they they I think traditionally you get a shot every week.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Same idea.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: You're getting a shot of what you're allergic to, and you're building up an immunity.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: This is a vial where you're putting it under your tongue for two minutes a day, but that you take it every day, and you have an epipin that you have in case you have some reaction, you have this epipin that you have to keep with you.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: I here's what I mean.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: How about if I cure you guaranteed for life?
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: How about it right now for free?
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: How about if I do that on the phone?
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: Right now, yep.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: That'd be great.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Let's do that.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: Here's how here's how this works.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Don't mow the grass.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: I too was allergic to mowed grass as a kid, so I never mowed the grass.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: Down.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: Done.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: Just don't do the thing that makes you allergic.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: Just don't do that thing.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Like, doctor, doctor, it hurts when I do this.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Well, then don't do it.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: You know the old story.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Just don't mow the grass.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I hear you.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Have have the B team mow the grass.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: Have the B team mow the grass.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she did start at one time or in our life, you know, when it was really bad for me.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: She started mowing the grass.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: But we had a small grass.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Now I have acres.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: She's tough.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: Acres and acres.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: She's trying.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: I don't really trust like hiring some company to come in and just and then they come in and they just come in there, just blow it.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: They're just tearing through your yard.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know, man.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: I just want to solve the allergies.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: Sue that guy.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: And and and also and also no more pizzas for that guy.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: No way.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: Well, that might be that might be true.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: I don't need to talk about it for eight minutes.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Basically, my I I want to know what's happening in California on a Friday night.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: I went to work.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: It's busy.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: I'm feeling a little bit crappy.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: And so I just left and came home a little earlier than I might normally.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: But it's cool.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: They're gonna handle it without me.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: And I'm home uh and working on uh some artwork.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: What are you doing in California is what I do?
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: I'm at my office.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: Um I had to pat some holes on the roof, and uh Ava was up there making sure that, damn it, making sure that I didn't fall down, go boom.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Um you know, don't want it to fall down, go boom.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: So um and now, hmm, I wonder if this is the right stuff.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: And now I'm outside talking to you, and I notice that I'm you know, I have these lime trees that I love, I make my magic ice with, and I gotta make sure no bugs come.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: So I'm squirting them with some homemade bug bug stuff.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: So you're not doing anything like super exciting, you're just kind of doing little chores and stuff.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: Well, no, I was I'm I'm I'm editing, I'm trying to work on something to to get my buddy, well, Egot.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: Egot's got a movie he's he's working on.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: And uh course he does.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: Always.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: Um, well, not always, but this is his kind of this is his baby he's he's had.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: And so we're we're we're willing this movie into existence.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: Um my buddy Alex and his and his friend Alex, who's uh who's a artist like you.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Alex and Alex, is that what you call them?
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: No, just no, he's Alex and Jamie.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: But and Alex is an illustrator, and so he's here helping them with storyboards.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: So yeah, yeah.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: So I'm trying to create like some soundtrack elements for them to kind of uh create, make some storyboards, and um and then he's gonna put it put it on maybe like a GoFundMe page or Kickstarter page to start raising money for the film.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: So it's a very exciting time.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: It's very beautiful little film.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: How much money do you gotta raise for a film for that film?
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: You know, I don't know.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: I don't know, but it's not, you know, it's not ten dollars.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: It and probably what it would be is is raising funds to get like the first phase started.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: You know, it's a it's a feature film.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: It's a you know, it's a it's a film with a real budget and um requires some real professionals like doing their sh doing their stuff.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: Uh to start.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: At least to start.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: To start.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: Movies, man.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: To get the ball rolling, yeah.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: To get the ball rolling.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: So um so anyway, um that is not stopping us.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: We do not care about that.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: We this film is gonna happen.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: We're gonna will it into existence.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: Okay.
