  Speaker 2: Mission Impossible premiere, which I have to imagine is a

  Speaker 2: dream come true. It's your second time, though, so is

  Speaker 2: it as cool the second time?

  Speaker 3: We went to the last premiere as press, but it

  Speaker 3: doesn't really matter because it's being at the red carpet

  Speaker 3: and being at the event that is the cool part.

  Speaker 3: And I'd say it was just as cool as time.

  Speaker 3: Our moment with Tom this time was so sweet, so awesome.

  Speaker 3: I will say that last time it was like unbelievable

  Speaker 3: because we had such a crazy intimate conversation with him

  Speaker 3: last time and this one was in more of like

  Speaker 3: a meet and greet format, but both were amazing experiences.

  Speaker 2: The Okay, so this is your second time meeting Tom Cruise,

  Speaker 2: if not definitely close to the most well known actor

  Speaker 2: in our lifetime. The first time was when I'm blanking

  Speaker 3: The first time was two years ago pretty much exactly. Okay,

  Speaker 3: why at the Dead Racketing premiere, So this is the

  Speaker 3: final Reckoning But.

  Speaker 2: You didn't see the movie the first time. You just

  Speaker 2: happened to meet Tom.

  Speaker 3: Well, we had right, It was like last time we

  Speaker 3: got to be part of a private Q and a

  Speaker 3: session that only like a very very high up influencers
• 1:49
  Speaker 3: were invited to. But because one of our friends at Paramount,

  Speaker 3: she's become a friend, she was, she's one of the
• 1:56
  Speaker 3: publicists at Paramount knows that Jared and I have such
• 1:59
  Speaker 3: an organic, true passion for Tom and his movies that

  Speaker 3: she was like, if you want to come and watch, like,
• 2:07
  Speaker 3: we can get you guys like two seats in the
• 2:09
  Speaker 3: influencer era era area. And then we got to have
• 2:15
  Speaker 3: a little bit of a moment with him last time
• 2:19
  Speaker 3: that was not supposed to happen.

  Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.

  Speaker 3: I made some eye contact and I moved my way

  Speaker 3: over there like an expert fangirl, and some people weren't thrilled,

  Speaker 3: but Tom did not care that those people were in thrilled.

  Speaker 3: He had such a nice conversation with us, and this

  Speaker 3: time we knew we were going to be able to

  Speaker 3: meet him. It was a scheduled meet and greet with

  Speaker 3: some select influencers, including Dylan Efron, who I was fangirling over.

  Speaker 3: Didn't tell him, even though I had it in my

  Speaker 3: soul to tell him that his brother is like my
• 2:59
  Speaker 3: hall pass, even though I don't just truly believe in
• 3:01
  Speaker 3: a kiss hall past. Perhaps, and then Harry Josie was there,
• 3:07
  Speaker 3: and then of course Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barber.

  Speaker 2: The I think fans would be interested. I'm intrigued. How

  Speaker 2: do you I mean, you just mentioned that you have
• 3:17
  Speaker 2: a publicist friend, but how do you actually get invited
• 3:21
  Speaker 2: to these specific events? What does that process look like?

  Speaker 3: Well, Jared and I, when we've lived in LA, we'd
• 3:29
  Speaker 3: have a you know, influencer events for certain movies. You know,
• 3:32
  Speaker 3: we'd get invited to certain screenings just because The Bachelor
• 3:36
  Speaker 3: and our following. And one of the things that we
• 3:40
  Speaker 3: got asked to do via The Bachelor, I think it
• 3:43
  Speaker 3: was Bachelor related. I think it was one of those
• 3:44
  Speaker 3: commercials that they kind of you know, they tie into
• 3:48
  Speaker 3: the show or tied into the commercials. We One was
• 3:52
  Speaker 3: a paramount movie, and through that we got connected with
• 3:58
  Speaker 3: the paramount's publicity. And that's how we've been able to
• 4:01
  Speaker 3: go to like screen premiere as a mission impossible and
• 4:03
  Speaker 3: have like a special top gun screening. Ah, okay, are
• 4:08
  Speaker 3: you wanting to come and be involved? Because we'd love that,
• 4:11
  Speaker 3: But you're not like so much of a you're not
• 4:13
  Speaker 3: a celebrity dude, and you're not a movie dude.
• 4:16
  Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I would. I would meet Tom Cruise and
• 4:19
  Speaker 2: be so excited because I think his work is fantastic,
• 4:23
  Speaker 2: But I like, honestly, I don't know if I would
• 4:25
  Speaker 2: travel outside of Denver to go do it? Like I
• 4:30
  Speaker 2: think that's how much excitement out of here? Yeah?

  Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess I understand that from you, because like

  Speaker 3: there's many actors that I wouldn't travel for pretty much

  Speaker 3: most Who is there anybody that you would travel for.

  Speaker 3: Even a concert, say like go out to a concert

  Speaker 2: rest in peace. I would have traveled across the world

  Speaker 2: hard time answering it. But Tom Cruise is somebody. Tom

  Speaker 2: Brady's obviously one that your family has traveled long and

  Speaker 2: far to see Tom Cruise. Is there anybody else on

  Speaker 2: that list? I remember Jared having an infatuation with Rob Thomas.

  Speaker 2: I don't know if that's still a thing.

  Speaker 3: Oh, of course it is, but like he's friends with

  Speaker 3: Rob Thomas now, like they like literally casually. Rob Thomas

  Speaker 3: texted Jared last week, So we still will go, you know,
• 6:12
  Speaker 3: hours hours or so for Rob. And if Rob happened
• 6:16
  Speaker 3: to be in Virginia and we're like, oh, we should
• 6:18
  Speaker 3: go to Virginia to like hang out with my parents,
• 6:20
  Speaker 3: and we would make the trip around that time. Yeah,
• 6:24
  Speaker 3: I would say I when I was a lot younger,
• 6:28
  Speaker 3: I would travel way further like we used to go.

  Speaker 3: My mom would take us on airplanes to American Idol
• 6:33
  Speaker 3: concerts because when the American Idols the season would go
• 6:36
  Speaker 3: on tour, we would go to at least three shows
• 6:40
  Speaker 3: and it was the most fun summer trips. It's like
• 6:44
  Speaker 3: camp Rock for my family and my friends. And then
• 6:50
  Speaker 3: I'll still travel for Jonas brothers. I'll go to you know,
• 6:54
  Speaker 3: four hours. I'll go to New York, so that's three hours.
• 6:59
  Speaker 3: You know in Boston's an hour and a half, and like,
• 7:01
  Speaker 3: you know, anything that would be convenient for my friends
• 7:03
  Speaker 3: and I all go to and have an experience together.

  Speaker 2: Your parents really when Charles Ling, which you haven't listened
• 7:11
  Speaker 2: to that episode, we just interviewed Charles, it's out. It's great.

  Speaker 2: His advice to me as a girl, dad was too
• 7:18
  Speaker 2: I mean in a sense he said a lot wiser,

  Speaker 2: like say yes to their dreams and what they want.

  Speaker 2: Your parents definitely said yes.

  Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, my mom.

  Speaker 3: There was one month where we went to seven Jonas

  Speaker 3: concerts in one month, and my mom was there for

  Speaker 4: We were at the age where like we could go.

  Speaker 3: She stayed at the hotel and then we would go
• 7:37
  Speaker 3: to the Massonsquare Garden shows. But then there were a

  Speaker 3: few like in random Ass, upstate, New York, where she'd
• 7:42
  Speaker 3: go to the parents' room where they'd have that to
• 7:44
  Speaker 3: the parent wouldn't have to have a ticket. It was
• 7:48
  Speaker 3: the greatest times ever.

  Speaker 4: And then so will we just tell you? And my

  Speaker 4: mom had a great time too.

  Speaker 3: My mom had such a good time, Like she's got
• 7:56
  Speaker 3: great memories of just traveling with us girls and like

  Speaker 3: heeing our pants in the back of the car, like

  Speaker 3: with my friends, telling stories.

  Speaker 2: I was working fish fries.

  Speaker 3: Now, the cost of all of it, I have to say,

  Speaker 3: you know, not always the most thrilling, but the memories

  Speaker 3: were worth it, all right. So should I tell you

  Speaker 3: about like our interaction with Tom Cruise now.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to hear it all. Just lay it

  Speaker 2: on us, tell us everything. I also want to put

  Speaker 2: in a note. I know you think the same, so

  Speaker 2: I'll just say it for both of us. Dawson was

  Speaker 2: looking so good, oh thank you, so cute. It was

  Speaker 2: an incredible viewing experience to see Dawson in that light. So, yes,

  Speaker 3: Yes, okay, so let me just briefly tell you about

  Speaker 3: funny because last time, when the publicist was trying to

  Speaker 3: explaining that Jerry maguire was a movie that I heard

  Speaker 3: Jared quoting the first day that I ever met him,

  Speaker 3: and it wasn't just like you had me at hello,

  Speaker 3: or like show me the money, like he was doing
• 9:14
  Speaker 3: deep cuts and it being one of my favorite movies

  Speaker 3: and Jerry McGuire having the personality of somebody like just

  Speaker 3: like that I've I'm so drawn to. I feel like

  Speaker 3: Jared is probably closest to Jerry McGuire of all of
• 9:30
  Speaker 3: Tom Cruise's characters. And when I heard Jared quote that

  Speaker 3: movie like the first day that we ever met, I

  Speaker 3: was like, I.

  Speaker 4: Am so screwed.

  Speaker 3: And then we ended up reciting that scene at our wedding,

  Speaker 3: which you may remember, like yes, during the service at

  Speaker 3: the church, the actual ceremony, remember that we had a

  Speaker 3: reading from Jerry maguire. So the first time we told

  Speaker 3: Tom about that and he was very touch and he

  Speaker 3: was like, this is why I make movies, to inspire

  Speaker 3: this kind of romance. And it was just like so

  Speaker 3: many things he said. He was like, the world needs

  Speaker 3: more people like you. And we're like, what, I know,

  Speaker 3: it's so great and so it was truly just one

  Speaker 3: of the most mind boggling memories of our whole lives. Anyway.

  Speaker 3: We knew that, like, we could never beat that moment,

  Speaker 3: but we wanted to bring Dawson because Dawson is a

  Speaker 3: fan of Top Gun. He watches Top Gun Maverick often.

  Speaker 3: He cannot watch any of the other movies. We have
• 10:36
  Speaker 3: shown him clips from censored clips from Jerry Maguire and
• 10:40
  Speaker 3: he thinks, show me the money and help me. Help
• 10:45
  Speaker 3: you are absolutely hilarious. And you know, we have a
• 10:49
  Speaker 3: picture of him with Tom Brady on his first birthday.

  Speaker 3: We're like, you know, it's our second time meeting him.

  Speaker 3: the meet and greet with us. And he did and

  Speaker 3: Like, well, Dawson's middle name is Brady. Okay, so Dawson

  Speaker 2: And I mean I personally hear that. I mean I

  Speaker 2: if I heard somebody say that to me, like, I

  Speaker 3: the movie, which is great and you should definitely go

  Speaker 3: see it. In the plane stunt, which has been teased

  Speaker 3: for about three years now really lives up. It is

  Speaker 3: the craziest stunt you'll ever see ever. I can't even

  Speaker 3: imagine a stunt like He's just a He is a
• 12:48
  Speaker 3: stunt man, like there's He's probably the most impressive stunt
• 12:52
  Speaker 3: man there is now.

  Speaker 2: One of our producers had a question of how does

  Speaker 2: Tom Cruise smell? That's not a question I would ask,

  Speaker 2: but I'm laying it on our producer because it was

  Speaker 2: a question asked out of curiosity. So give us your take.

  Speaker 2: I guess, let's answer in a few ways. How does

  Speaker 2: he smell? Is he as handsome in person as you imagine?

  Speaker 2: I look at the picture and I would never have

  Speaker 2: taken the picture Tom Cruise did because Jared's looking so

  Speaker 2: handsome that it almost overshadows Tom Cruise, which I feel

  Speaker 2: I mean, goodness, Jared can't help it that he's beautiful.

  Speaker 3: Well, Jared also has like a similarity. There's something there.

  Speaker 3: might even be their voice or their cadence, but there's

  Speaker 3: travel to France to sit in the nose blades.

  Speaker 2: going to French Lick, and I have invited forty of

  Speaker 2: my friends to come on a golf trip. We are

  Speaker 2: golfing at French Lick and at their courses. Well's Adams

  Speaker 2: is going to be there, Joey is gonna be there.

  Speaker 2: Grocery store joe is gonna be there, Zach Clark is

  Speaker 2: Gonna be there. It's gonna be a great experience, and

  Speaker 2: so we're leaving and everybody's meeting us in southern Indiana

  Speaker 2: always fun, always something you look forward to. But yeah,

  Speaker 2: we both have really exciting weekends. And I hope everybody

  Speaker 2: listening has a really great weekend doing whatever they're doing.

  Speaker 2: It's usually the weekend for barbecues. It's the weekend to

  Speaker 2: get outside, to start messing around in the yard, to

  Speaker 2: clean out the garage, to go to a brewery, to

  Speaker 2: do whatever you do on this holiday. I hope it's

  Speaker 2: be around family. My dad is going, my father in

  Speaker 2: law is going, which is super exciting. My brother in

  Speaker 2: law is coming to French Lick. So I'm gonna be
