Speaker 4: major stories for you. First up, President Donald Trump comes
• 0:33
Speaker 4: out and says we're getting a lot of oil from Venezuela,
• 0:37
Speaker 4: between thirty to fifty million barrels of oil. This could
• 0:41
Speaker 4: have huge implications for Venezuela's economy as well as the US.
• 0:46
Speaker 4: I'll explain that to you in just a moment. Also,
• 0:50
Speaker 4: new warnings for Cuba at this hour coming from the
• 0:53
Speaker 4: Trump administration. Is there a very good chance that Cuba
• 0:57
Speaker 4: and the dictators there could be in serious trouble? And
• 1:01
Speaker 4: is it even spreading after seeing Maduro leave Venezuela in
• 1:05
Speaker 4: an American custody, is it inspiring people in Iran to
• 1:10
Speaker 4: stand up? To their regime. That's exactly what seems to
• 1:13
Speaker 4: be happening. I have the details for you, but before
• 1:16

• 3:07
Speaker 4: Update and it starts right now.
• 3:09
  Speaker 3: Story number one.
• 3:11
Speaker 4: Donald Trump has made a major announcement about Venezuela, and
• 3:14
Speaker 4: as a taxpayer, you should be very excited about what
• 3:17
Speaker 4: I'm about to tell you. He said that Venezuela will
• 3:21
Speaker 4: turn over thirty to fifty million barrels of oil to
• 3:25
Speaker 4: the United States of America. Donald Trump announcing that the
• 3:29
Speaker 4: interim authorities in charge of Venezuela would be giving US
• 3:33
Speaker 4: between thirty to fifty million barrels of high quality, sanctioned
• 3:37
Speaker 4: oil to the United States. In a post on True
• 3:40
Speaker 4: Social Trump explained that the oil would be sold at
• 3:44
Speaker 4: its market price and that Trump would ensure the money
• 3:48
Speaker 4: from the sales will be used to benefit the people
• 3:51
Speaker 4: of Venezuela and the US, saying quote, I'm pleased to
• 3:56
Speaker 4: announce that the innim authorities in Venezuela will be turning
• 4:00
Speaker 4: over between thirty to fifty million barrels of high quality,
• 4:02
Speaker 4: sanctioned all of the United States. This oil will be
• 4:05
Speaker 4: sold at its market price, and the money will be
• 4:07
Speaker 4: controlled by me, as President of the United States of America,
• 4:11
Speaker 4: to ensure it is used to benefit not only the
• 4:14
Speaker 4: people Venezuela, which means you and I as taxpayers, do
• 4:18
Speaker 4: not have to worry about paying for Venezuela like we
• 4:22
Speaker 4: did in Afghanistan in Iraq. He also went on to
• 4:25
Speaker 4: say this, I have asked the Energy Secretary, Chris Wright,
• 4:29
Speaker 4: to execute this plan immediately. It will be taken by
• 4:32
Speaker 4: stored ships and brought directly to unloading docks in the
• 4:35
Speaker 4: United States of America. Now after Venezuela's socialist dictator Maduro
• 4:40
Speaker 4: and his wife Flores were captured by US military forces.
• 4:45
Speaker 4: Trump stated that the US will run everything regarding Venezuela's
• 4:49
Speaker 4: oil reserves. It also has been reported that Venezuela, as
• 4:55
Speaker 4: of Saturday's oil price, has approximately seventeen point three trillion
• 5:00
Speaker 4: in oil reserves, which exceeds the collective global gross domestic
• 5:05
Speaker 4: product excluding the United States of America and China. To
• 5:10
Speaker 4: put in perspective, this obviously is a major step forward
• 5:14
Speaker 4: for the President and also to getting Venezuela back on
• 5:18
Speaker 4: its feet and the people there that have been oppressed
• 5:21
Speaker 4: by the commist regime for far too long. What they
• 5:24
Speaker 4: need economic stability now story number two, What is next
• 5:29
Speaker 4: for the Western hemisphere? That is a question that Donald
• 5:32
Speaker 4: Trump is answering in real time through his actions instead
• 5:37
Speaker 4: of his words. With Maduro's capture, there are now real
• 5:40
Speaker 4: speculation among those in Washington that this could be the
• 5:45
Speaker 4: beginning of the end for places like Cuba's dictators the
• 5:49
Speaker 4: regime there. The House Intelligence Committee chairman going on Fox
• 5:54
Speaker 4: News channel to talk about exactly what could be next,
• 5:58
Speaker 4: and I want you to listen carefully to what he
• 6:00
Speaker 4: had to say about the President also talking about Cuba.
• 6:05
Speaker 4: So This will obviously have a lot of a domino
• 6:07
Speaker 4: effect in the neighborhood down there.
• 6:10
Speaker 5: President Trump and Secretary of Rubio talked about the possibilities
• 6:14
Speaker 5: for Cuba. Let's play this clip real quick.
• 6:16
Speaker 2: Cuba is going to be something we'll end up talking
• 6:19
Speaker 2: about because Cuba is a failing nation right now, very
• 6:22
Speaker 2: badly failing nation, and we want to help the people.
• 6:25
Speaker 2: If it's very similar in the sense that we want
• 6:27
Speaker 2: to help the people in Cuba.
• 6:28
Speaker 5: When the president speaks, you should take them seriously. So
• 6:30
Speaker 5: it's effice that to say, you know, Cuba is a disaster,
• 6:32
Speaker 5: it's it's run by incompetent. See now, men, if I
• 6:36
Speaker 5: lived in Havana and I was in the government, I'd
• 6:37
  Speaker 5: be concerned.
• 6:39
Speaker 4: What is Cuba thinking right now?
• 6:40
Speaker 6: We're going to We're going to see freedom in liberty
• 6:42
Speaker 6: in Cuba. I mean the Cuba is a failed state
• 6:46
Speaker 6: that people of Cuba do not like IDAs Canal, they
• 6:49
Speaker 6: don't like their government. It was all it's all propped
• 6:52
Speaker 6: up with the oil from Venezuela. So Cuba has been
• 6:55
Speaker 6: the root of evil. So if you look at this
• 6:58
Speaker 6: is an unbelievable opportunity. When Trump finishes this term, I
• 7:02
Speaker 6: think all across Latin America see freedom and liberty. We
• 7:06
Speaker 6: have a new president in Columbia next year, and I
• 7:10
Speaker 6: think the right thing will happen there. I think diascnaw
• 7:13
Speaker 6: will be will be gone. So I'm look, I'm excited
• 7:17
Speaker 6: for all my friends that have fought all these years
• 7:21
Speaker 6: for freedom and liberty and they have not been able
• 7:23
Speaker 6: to get a president that would show up and do
• 7:25
Speaker 6: the job that needed to be done. And this president
• 7:27
Speaker 6: has been willing to do it. So hats off to
• 7:30
  Speaker 6: Donald Trump.
• 7:31
Speaker 4: Senator Rick Scott and what he had to say there,
• 7:32
Speaker 4: He's absolutely right, and it brings me the top lawmaker
• 7:35
Speaker 4: of the House Intelligence Committee, also saying that he believes
• 7:39
Speaker 4: that the weekend capture of Maduro may have a major
• 7:43
Speaker 4: domino effect in Cuba. Chairman Rick Crawford, a Republican from Arkansas,
• 7:48
Speaker 4: call it the beginning of the end for the regime.
• 7:51
Speaker 4: Cuba and Venezuela have had a symbolic relationship for a
• 7:55
Speaker 4: long long time. The congressman said, Cuba needs Venezuelan oil.
• 8:00
Speaker 4: They no longer have the resources that will be provided
• 8:04
Speaker 4: by Venezuela, and that means there are major consequences. According
• 8:10
Speaker 4: to Crawford. Venezuela also benefited from the partnership by receiving
• 8:15
Speaker 4: medical assistance from Cuba and military protections used by Maduro.
• 8:22
Speaker 4: President of Cuba Manuel Diaz, is a one party communist
• 8:25
Speaker 4: state that has been long at odds with the United
• 8:28
Speaker 4: States of America, and the US has an economic embargo
• 8:32
Speaker 4: on the country, restricting exports to and from Cuba, as
• 8:36
Speaker 4: well as travel restrictions that limit tourism. Those measures have
• 8:41
Speaker 4: been in place now for sixty three years. You go
• 8:45
Speaker 4: back to February of nineteen sixty two when President JFK
• 8:49
Speaker 4: proclaimed an embargo on trade between the United States and
• 8:51
Speaker 4: Cuba and directed the Department of Commerce and the Treasury
• 8:55
Speaker 4: to implement the embargo, which literally remains in place today.
• 8:59
Speaker 4: The state harm and saying that on its own website,
• 9:02
Speaker 4: which brings us to the bigger question that Crawford brought up.
• 9:06
Speaker 4: He said, quote, you may very well see a very
• 9:08
Speaker 4: popular uprising there. There's a lot of connective tissue. We have, really,
• 9:14
Speaker 4: for a lack of a better term, we have a
• 9:17
Speaker 4: familiar bond with Cuba. We have so many families in
• 9:21
Speaker 4: South Florida that are directly connected to family members in Cuba.
• 9:26
Speaker 4: That remittances are a big part of their economy. They
• 9:29
Speaker 4: rely on the United States of America, whether they want
• 9:33
Speaker 4: to admit it or not, We can play an outsized
• 9:36
Speaker 4: role there in influencing those folks and helping them to organize,
• 9:40
Speaker 4: to rise up and help overcome the oppressive, to help
• 9:43
Speaker 4: overcome that oppressive regime. Now, Congressman Crawford isn't the only
• 9:49
Speaker 4: one talking about how there could be a major domino
• 9:51
Speaker 4: effect when it comes to Venezuela and now in other
• 9:54
Speaker 4: parts of Latin America. The White House saying they believe
• 9:57
Speaker 4: that this could certainly move us in the right direction
• 10:01
Speaker 4: and inspire others to stand up to the regimes, whether
• 10:04
Speaker 4: it's Columbia or Cuba. There are several other countries now
• 10:08
Speaker 4: where there's real problems on the ground for the dictators,
• 10:12
Speaker 4: including even Iran, which makes this part of the conversation
• 10:16
Speaker 4: even more interesting. We're now hearing a new chant coming
• 10:20
Speaker 4: out of Iran. Usually you hear the chant of death
• 10:23
Speaker 4: to America. Right now, the protests are continuing across Iran,
• 10:28
Speaker 4: and now the protests are calling for quote death to
• 10:32
Speaker 4: the dictator, not to America. The protests against the Iranian
• 10:38
Speaker 4: regime has now spread to most of Iran's thirty one
• 10:42
Speaker 4: provinces as of Tuesday, including cities that have long been
• 10:47
Speaker 4: seen as firmly loyal to the Ayatola. The current movement
• 10:51
Speaker 4: is arguably larger than the Women Life and Freedom uprising
• 10:57
Speaker 4: that really shook the regime to its core in twenty
• 11:00
Speaker 4: twenty two, and today's demonstrations are now showing no sign
• 11:04
Speaker 4: of backing down in the face of the brutal repression.
• 11:09
Speaker 4: The BBC cited video confirming massive protests in seventeen provinces,
• 11:15
Speaker 4: plus reports of demonstrations in eleven more verified Video footage
• 11:21
Speaker 4: of anti government demonstrations was posted from over fifty Iranian
• 11:26
Speaker 4: towns and cities, including the Holy Cities as well, which
• 11:30
Speaker 4: have previously been strongholds for the theocracy. Outside analysts said
• 11:35
Speaker 4: these surprising size and the persistence of the protests in
• 11:40
Speaker 4: the regime's political fortress cities was a sign that even
• 11:43
Speaker 4: the Iatola's hardcore supporters are abandoning him in the face
• 11:48
Speaker 4: of rank incompetence and most importantly, massive economic collapse. The
• 11:54
Speaker 4: regime seems reluctant to indulge in the kind of bloody
• 11:58
Speaker 4: crackdown that snuffed out the Women, Life and Freedom movement,
• 12:02
Speaker 4: the protests after Iran's humiliating defeat by Israel and the
• 12:07
Speaker 4: United States in the summer of twenty twenty five, as
• 12:10
Speaker 4: well as the uprising after the rigged elections in nine.
• 12:14
Speaker 4: The Iranian regime is also attempting a difficult political balancing
• 12:18
Speaker 4: act by separating demonstrators with legitimate grievances from the rioters
• 12:24
Speaker 4: who are supposedly acting on behalf of the United States
• 12:27
Speaker 4: and European powers they claim, and all out bloodbath would
• 12:31
Speaker 4: make it very difficult for the regime to pretend it
• 12:34
Speaker 4: has sympathies and concerns for the Iranian people, which now
• 12:39
Speaker 4: brings us to the President's promise if Iran does go
• 12:42
Speaker 4: after the protesters, then America will step up, and that
• 12:46
Speaker 4: seems to be giving cover for freedom for the people
• 12:49
Speaker 4: of Iran to actually rise up against another regime.
