Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips. — Psalm 141:3Set a watch over my mouth, Lord. The tongue runs wild when the heart isn't guarded. Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Put away anger and filthy language because you've put on the new self in Christ. You can't tame your own tongue, so ask the Lord to keep the door of your lips.
