- 0:19Speaker 1: I remember my nefarious foe, Kristen, so I have my
- 0:22Speaker 1: pen and pat.
- 0:25Speaker 2: That's a sticky more than that.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Well, I guess that's fair. I don't know what to
- 0:30Speaker 3: take notes of because write.
- 0:32Speaker 1: When I think I've written everything I need to know,
- 0:34Speaker 1: down I get this left field curveball, like what was
- 0:39Speaker 1: the name of the hospital?
- 0:40Speaker 3: And it's like a.
- 0:42Speaker 2: General We've learned it now.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Yeah, just you know that hospital has continued to be
- 0:48Speaker 4: a source of pain to everybody.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Because she'll ask every time they showed it on the screen.
- 0:55Speaker 4: I'm going to probably make Biscayne General Hospital a question
- 1:00Speaker 4: on every cumulative review at the end of each season
- 1:03Speaker 4: as well.
- 1:04Speaker 2: So there you go ahead.
- 1:05Speaker 4: So if you're ever here for one of the final
- 1:07Speaker 4: episodes of a season, just know ye wait yeah, m hmmmm.
- 1:14Speaker 3: And I interrupted you as well, what were you going
- 1:17Speaker 3: to say?
- 1:17Speaker 4: Erin Oh, I was gonna let you know that I
- 1:20Speaker 4: was sharing my shame with the girls that I was
- 1:23Speaker 4: left alone on a business trip and a PopMart store
- 1:26Speaker 4: in Chicago, and I previously I walked into the PopMart
- 1:30Speaker 4: store with so much hate in my heart. I was like,
- 1:33Speaker 4: fucking thirty.
- 1:34Speaker 5: Dollars, little boo boo, bullshit, dolls, little bullshit.
- 1:37Speaker 4: And then I came home with this little guy who
- 1:40Speaker 4: I have named obi Wan because he's the Hope energy
- 1:45Speaker 4: monster and so he's obi Wan because he's my only hope.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Is that how those things work, it's whatever you want
- 1:50Speaker 3: it to be.
- 1:51Speaker 4: They have names on like Hope or whatever. If they're
- 1:56Speaker 4: the plain ones like this, this is the entry level
- 1:58Speaker 4: cheap person one.
- 1:59Speaker 2: So did you buy him that chair too?
- 2:01Speaker 4: The chair was a separate eight dollars but it also
- 2:05Speaker 4: and I don't.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Buy my chair.
- 2:06Speaker 2: She has accessories. Now she's all in.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I don't have the attachment. But I want to point
- 2:11Speaker 4: out that like on the back of the chair is
- 2:13Speaker 4: a little clip and you and the reason he has
- 2:16Speaker 4: this like seatbelt on.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It keeps blurring it.
- 2:19Speaker 4: I know they're like, fuck you and your stupid.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pornographic.
- 2:24Speaker 4: It comes with the vent clip. This seat is so
- 2:27Speaker 4: you can take him to like your office or your house.
- 2:31Speaker 4: But also you take the seat off the bottom and
- 2:34Speaker 4: he clips into your vent clip and that seatbelt holds
- 2:36Speaker 4: him in so he can ride in the car.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I hate it.
- 2:39Speaker 3: So it's a la buobu cup chair kind of.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I hate all of it.
- 2:45Speaker 4: My boss was like, I sent a picture to my
- 2:47Speaker 4: boss and I said, dude, you're not allowed to let
- 2:50Speaker 4: me in the Chicago mall anymore. And she was like
- 2:53Speaker 4: why and I sent the picture and she went, oh god.
- 2:56Speaker 4: She's like, I didn't know you were into those, and
- 2:57Speaker 4: I said, I'm not. And I hadn't even had any
- 2:59Speaker 4: alcohol that I just you are.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:01Speaker 4: I was alone and I threw money at it. But
- 3:03Speaker 4: the joy of that is I did buy two, and
- 3:06Speaker 4: the second one ended up being this super rare limited edition.
- 3:10Speaker 4: So this was basically free because I made one hundred
- 3:13Speaker 4: and thirty five dollars after fees. The other one I've got.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Wuld you already sell it?
- 3:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it's already sold. I'm sending it out today the
- 3:21Speaker 4: boxes over here. I just got to print the label.
- 3:23Speaker 2: That's fucking awesome.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Wow.
- 3:24Speaker 4: So he he was free and I made like sixty
- 3:27Speaker 4: bucks after you know, the other doll too, So.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Whoa, yeah, I tease you.
- 3:34Speaker 6: But to be fair, I had accessories for my troll
- 3:37Speaker 6: dolls in the nineties.
- 3:38Speaker 2: So did they have accessories?
- 3:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh so many remember those. Honestly, if the
- 3:45Speaker 4: chair and the glasses were dolls been in a clearance
- 3:48Speaker 4: bin in the shop across the street that sold like
- 3:51Speaker 4: the accessories and stuff. I would never have purchased it,
- 3:54Speaker 4: but I saw this big clearance sign and I went
- 3:56Speaker 4: in and I was like, eight dollars and I can
- 3:59Speaker 4: get these sung says for free. Okay, cool.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I don't condone it, Gene, It's just appalled.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Abby hates the sunglasses. By the way, just in case
- 4:11Speaker 4: anyone was curious, she probably thinks for her No, she did, well,
- 4:16Speaker 4: they've been on her face and she does not like it.
- 4:22Speaker 4: I'm not love boo boo.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Mom.
- 4:24Speaker 4: She was like, h exuse me, I hate your face. Mother.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I am not filled with hope.
- 4:31Speaker 4: No, she's she's not. My mom reached out to me
- 4:34Speaker 4: on my business trip and said, what do you want
- 4:36Speaker 4: me to do if Abby dies? And I said, is
- 4:38Speaker 4: she already dead? She said, no, escape for a friend.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I didn't ask before, And my dad said, and I
- 4:46Speaker 4: think I've mentioned this on this show before, but my
- 4:49Speaker 4: dad said she was on the roof, which is an
- 4:51Speaker 4: old joke about someone that's watching a grandmother and a
- 4:54Speaker 4: cat and the guy calls and says, hey, how's how
- 4:58Speaker 4: are things at home? And he goes, oh, my cat
- 5:01Speaker 4: died and he goes, you can't just jump in with that,
- 5:03Speaker 4: like you have to lead into it. Like maybe one
- 5:05Speaker 4: day you're like, oh, the you know, the cat was
- 5:07Speaker 4: on the roof, and the guy's like, okay, I got it.
- 5:09Speaker 4: So the next time, the man calls his friend to
- 5:12Speaker 4: check on his grandma and he says, hey, how's how's
- 5:15Speaker 4: you know my grandma doing it as well? She was
- 5:17Speaker 4: on the roof. So when after I was sure my
- 5:23Speaker 4: mom was not telling me how he was dead, my
- 5:26Speaker 4: dad goes, well, she was on the roof this morning. Up, dad,
- 5:32Speaker 4: that's fair, but she's very much alive and just sleeping.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Oh no, she's staring at us. It's good that this
- 5:38Speaker 4: is blurred because she is not happy with me this morning.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Little demon cat stare.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Yes, can you see her just like over my shoulder?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Oh, just a little bit white over us.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Wait, don't look at my hoarder house please.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Oh I'm looking.
- 5:56Speaker 4: I want you guys to stow me my friends after this.
- 5:59Speaker 3: That's it? Okay.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Up, I'm in a fucking hotel room, so I only
- 6:04Speaker 2: have room too.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Was hard?
- 6:06Speaker 6: Wow, I slept in a tent in your guest room.
- 6:09Speaker 6: I think we're good.
- 6:12Speaker 7: James, who knows where he slept.
- 6:16Speaker 3: An alley somewhere behind a dumpster.
- 6:18Speaker 4: While he was on the roof, I was on the roof.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah, my house is just a little less horder esque.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I got rid of that incredible amount of makeup. I
- 6:29Speaker 1: don't know if I talked about that last time. No,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I know, so I used to. There was a children's
- 6:37Speaker 1: theater in Portland called the Organ Children's Theater, and there's
- 6:40Speaker 1: the administrative side is still there and they're working on
- 6:43Speaker 1: building themselves back up so that they can produce shows again.
- 6:46Speaker 1: But I was part of their Young Professionals company, where
- 6:51Speaker 1: it's like kids from fourteen to eighteen or thirteen eighteen
- 6:54Speaker 1: that are serious about doing theater professionally in different regards
- 6:59Speaker 1: and they get their own specialty focused classes as well
- 7:03Speaker 1: as excuse me, access to theater professionals where they can
- 7:07Speaker 1: do like one on one intensives things like that, working
- 7:11Speaker 1: with industry professionals to know what it's like to work
- 7:13Speaker 1: in theater professionally. Well, unfortunately, as they were downsizing, they
- 7:18Speaker 1: had probably one hundred and fifty to two hundred pounds
- 7:21Speaker 1: worth of makeup like ben Ny Graftobian cry Alou and
- 7:26Speaker 1: like all of it that was donated to them, but
- 7:30Speaker 1: because they weren't going to be actively producing a show
- 7:32Speaker 1: or anything like that, they didn't know what to do
- 7:33Speaker 1: with it. So I taught a young professionals course on
- 7:38Speaker 1: special effects makeup and gave way a bunch of it
- 7:40Speaker 1: to the young professionals. And because it was such a
- 7:44Speaker 1: and this happened in the spring that they give all
- 7:45Speaker 1: this stuff to me. The summer was so incredibly busy
- 7:50Speaker 1: that I didn't have time to go to my community
- 7:52Speaker 1: theater friends. In fact, like one of my friends, I
- 7:54Speaker 1: was like, can I just drop off a big old
- 7:56Speaker 1: back of makeup to you and you can sort through it,
- 8:00Speaker 1: take it the stuff out the door. So I finally
- 8:04Speaker 1: got the rest of it to the east Side theater
- 8:07Speaker 1: company is YEP, which is currently producing a Wizard of Oz.
- 8:12Speaker 3: And so all like the green purples.
- 8:15Speaker 2: The yellows and oranges, we are out of green.
- 8:20Speaker 3: So it's gonna go to good use and it's going
- 8:22Speaker 3: from one children's theater to another.
- 8:24Speaker 1: So that's that's all sice like that in my living
- 8:27Speaker 1: room because so much was like donated to me, and
- 8:30Speaker 1: like this rapid fire fashion is like like a hoarder's house,
- 8:33Speaker 1: like for.
- 8:35Speaker 3: James take it. I do props work, yes, And so
- 8:39Speaker 3: I have one of my pies that I made. Is
- 8:41Speaker 3: it blurring?
- 8:42Speaker 8: Oh?
- 8:43Speaker 2: Just like a key lime? What is this?
- 8:45Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:46Speaker 4: Basically is that cocking? Is that what you use for
- 8:49Speaker 4: the whip cream?
- 8:49Speaker 2: It's like a cock, and you used your cock on
- 8:52Speaker 2: the pie.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I used my cock on the pie. It's very creamy of.
- 8:58Speaker 2: A beautiful cock.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Thank you, thank you so much. I had to really
- 9:03Speaker 3: squeeze it out.
- 9:06Speaker 2: What was up for like a theater thing?
- 9:08Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:08Speaker 1: I did it for Broadway ROAs Theater Company for their
- 9:10Speaker 1: production Waitress n And it's a lightweight spackling.
- 9:16Speaker 3: So the cream the center of the pie.
- 9:19Speaker 1: That is heavyweight spackling because it gives me more structure
- 9:23Speaker 1: and a smoother surface.
- 9:24Speaker 3: And then I use the lightweight as piping. So because
- 9:26Speaker 3: it looks more like lic.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Cream, it looks like a legit pie. I don't I
- 9:30Speaker 2: don't even know how somebody learns how to do that.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, trial and error boyfriends associated.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Well, and then you have things like this,
- 9:45Speaker 1: which I did.
- 9:46Speaker 3: It's kind of like a pecan pie. It's oh my god.
- 9:51Speaker 2: He needs to do like a hot dog aspect? What works?
- 9:57Speaker 2: And you know, like words Jello.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I'm obsessed with those, Okay, aspect aspect is the savory
- 10:04Speaker 4: version of those jello molds from like the fifties and sixties,
- 10:08Speaker 4: with the Aaron's obsessed with.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I guess you just have to make one out of spackle.
- 10:14Speaker 4: I guess you don't want to know. I'm trying to
- 10:16Speaker 4: come up with an aspect that is, uh a shrimp
- 10:20Speaker 4: cocktail aspect?
- 10:21Speaker 7: Oh god, bp MCA cheese hot long bits.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I don't remember her name, but there's this YouTuber that
- 10:30Speaker 1: does or TikToker, I don't know, but she dresses up
- 10:33Speaker 1: like a nineteen fifties housewife and like redes these jello
- 10:36Speaker 1: things or classic cocktail things, and she did with like
- 10:40Speaker 1: Vienna sausages, and it.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Was just revolting to look at and like, I don't
- 10:46Speaker 3: know if you've ever had a Vienna sausage, but those
- 10:48Speaker 3: things are no very gross. They're disgusting.
- 10:50Speaker 2: No, weren't we talking about those one day?
- 10:52Speaker 4: Like I bought a thing and now.
- 10:56Speaker 6: I don't know where she's looking for.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It's for the best.
- 10:59Speaker 7: Errand so you're saying, if you tried to make that aspect,
- 11:03Speaker 7: you'd barf.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Is that what you're saying you'd refuse.
- 11:05Speaker 1: It's not that I would refuse. If it was necessary,
- 11:09Speaker 1: I would do it.
- 11:10Speaker 7: We're gonna commission it, no, with all like a mini figure.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Of bowling girls in it.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Sadly, the only thing I can find on my desk
- 11:20Speaker 4: is my red bean pastries, the tayakis that I have.
- 11:29Speaker 3: But before they could do you like red bean well,
- 11:34Speaker 3: I like those sesame balls that you can get it.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, they're kind of like that, but this
- 11:38Speaker 4: is more like a like a waffle texture. Yeah, and
- 11:44Speaker 4: then inside is the red bean paste. I get them
- 11:46Speaker 4: at this Asian grocer that's over here in Beaverton, and
- 11:51Speaker 4: they're pretty good. They're even better when they have like
- 11:53Speaker 4: ice cream and stuff. But that's made like live in
- 11:56Speaker 4: front of you, not here.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I was I going in there and just grabbing something
- 12:00Speaker 3: random and being like, well, i'll try it. I've had
- 12:03Speaker 3: some sausage, and then I think.
- 12:07Speaker 4: I actually might have thrown the can of Vienna sausage
- 12:11Speaker 4: away now and I'm thinking about it well, because I
- 12:14Speaker 4: was suppest to eat it like Season Girl, yeah, like
- 12:19Speaker 4: season one or two, and the shelf life on those
- 12:23Speaker 4: is shocking. But I think I did finally throw it away.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Did it come up on an episode? I don't remember
- 12:28Speaker 2: why we were talking about.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I think I think it was one of
- 12:35Speaker 4: the times they were putting like a spread out on
- 12:38Speaker 4: the table for a cast or something, and someone mentioned
- 12:42Speaker 4: Vienna sausages and we all kind of looked sick to
- 12:45Speaker 4: our stomach. So I thought, I'll eat one on air.
- 12:48Speaker 4: What a fun thing, and oh right, But but then I've.
- 12:53Speaker 6: Never had season two, episode nine.
- 12:57Speaker 4: For it, a little encyclopedia over here, so they can
- 13:00Speaker 4: just floated around my desk for like quite a while.
- 13:03Speaker 4: And then I think I did was amazing.
- 13:07Speaker 9: It was like, put my sasage in your mouth, put
- 13:14Speaker 9: me in charge, you wen, he's got.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Like old.
- 13:21Speaker 4: I like that. I'm recasting myself immediately and giving James
- 13:25Speaker 4: the role of the into the toilet for months.
- 13:30Speaker 8: Yes, do you like high levels of sodium?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Enjoy my slimy texture.
- 13:42Speaker 4: Okay, well we had mister McTavish from a friend of
- 13:46Speaker 4: the show, Aaron Randolph, and now we have Ghost, the
- 13:50Speaker 4: Ghost of the Sausage Aaron Throwaway.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yes, my slimy meat products.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Your house.
- 14:03Speaker 1: You're like looking an actual good sausage and the can
- 14:05Speaker 1: like peaks around the corner.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Where are you going now?
- 14:08Speaker 4: Like, does I thought we had something in this character
- 14:11Speaker 4: we've now invented. Do you think that sausage is still
- 14:16Speaker 4: in the can or like, do you think one sausage
- 14:18Speaker 4: is like poking up? Yeah, and he's like got his
- 14:24Speaker 4: little meat juice like hand dribbles. Yeah, Like he's got
- 14:28Speaker 4: a little like it's.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Kind of that evil slime from Ghostbusters too, that just
- 14:31Speaker 1: constantly seeps out like there's an unlimited supply.
- 14:36Speaker 3: It's just constantly coming.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Out of his can. So the creepy ship that's on
- 14:39Speaker 4: my dog's food that I'm always like, well, yeah, this
- 14:42Speaker 4: is like yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 6: When you open wet dog food, like it's like yelling
- 14:48Speaker 6: stuff on the top.
- 14:49Speaker 1: That's exactly what's sausage can. It's like right on the
- 14:52Speaker 1: top layer and it's between each.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Little I'm like, I'm glad you like this because.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I'm gon grape scrape scrap tick on my inner can.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I love it.
- 15:05Speaker 4: I'm just gonna take a sip of my everyday dose.
- 15:10Speaker 3: On my solid fingers now, my every day.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Dose taste solid fingers, salad fingers.
- 15:16Speaker 2: God, that's internet callback.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Look, my mental image is that you're using a fork
- 15:21Speaker 1: to like scrape the inside, and so of course solid fingers.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Why would you want I don't. I guess if you're
- 15:29Speaker 4: poor enough, you might scrape the inside of that container.
- 15:32Speaker 4: But based on the jelly you're telling me is in there,
- 15:35Speaker 4: I don't want it.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Okay, this might be an overshare.
- 15:37Speaker 1: But the reason I have this visceral image and pull
- 15:42Speaker 1: that out of the ether is because my dad actually
- 15:44Speaker 1: loves Vienna sausages. And he will straight up sit on
- 15:47Speaker 1: his chair in the living room and with a fork
- 15:51Speaker 1: and just straight up.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Like I can't, I can't look.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I think I could always smell it before I saw
- 15:59Speaker 1: him eating it, and I was just like, nope, not going.
- 16:01Speaker 2: In the living room, my mom. Can we put him
- 16:06Speaker 2: on a home? Is it too early?
- 16:08Speaker 4: Your dad's forty?
- 16:10Speaker 3: I mean it was a small farm. We could have
- 16:11Speaker 3: just taken him out bag.
- 16:13Speaker 2: He's got cram, he's on the roof.
- 16:16Speaker 3: We got to go.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Bolds down.
- 16:21Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, we got a runner, all right, So
- 16:28Speaker 4: we gotta make miss James. Yeah, we have to make
- 16:31Speaker 4: James a p in a sausage aspect. Now that's my
- 16:35Speaker 4: mission in life.
- 16:37Speaker 3: You couldn't you could not?
- 16:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I actually don't hate you.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Well, what if it's fake, would you still hate it?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Would appreciate the proper work.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I would appreciate that, that's true. Yeah, and Aaron's a
- 16:49Speaker 1: prop maker, so I would take that. I would take that.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Great it and give her notes.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Probably do it in like a resin mold for you.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, if it was absolutely trophies.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Float this sausage in the actual resins.
- 17:05Speaker 3: No gin, I respect yourself.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Why no one else does.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Do you remember those like weird sugar cookie ornaments that
- 17:14Speaker 4: were popular for a time where they would like shellac
- 17:18Speaker 4: a real cookie.
- 17:19Speaker 2: This was like they should like a real cook No.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Late eighties, early nineties and like.
- 17:24Speaker 6: You salt dough, but it's different.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Yes, that's what I remember.
- 17:28Speaker 4: The salt dough. Yeah, but like maybe this was like
- 17:31Speaker 4: a bougie soco thing. I don't know. But we'd go
- 17:35Speaker 4: places where they'd have like actual like gingerbread type cookies,
- 17:40Speaker 4: but they had been like encased in like shelac so
- 17:44Speaker 4: that they didn't spoil, and they were so gross looking.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I think it's because at some point in like the eighties,
- 17:51Speaker 4: maybe no one knew about the salt. I don't know,
- 17:54Speaker 4: but they would get to be weird colors sometimes because
- 18:00Speaker 4: it was food trapped and ship and now we have
- 18:03Speaker 4: fake food and people know how to make lovely.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Things like rotting inside of there.
- 18:07Speaker 4: Yeah yeah. Like we also made like apple ornaments where
- 18:12Speaker 4: you let it like turn into like a withered, dried
- 18:18Speaker 4: out apple core and then you put a hat and
- 18:20Speaker 4: a beard on it. We did some fuss that I've
- 18:24Speaker 4: never seen that.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's very much like a depression era
- 18:33Speaker 1: thing where they would just take you wasted, nothing.
- 18:36Speaker 6: Right, they used it all.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Now it's if you're in your depression era.
- 18:41Speaker 3: This is my Taylor Swift depression era.
- 18:43Speaker 4: That's after the breakup. That's your depression.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Shake it off.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Someone will love me, oh man, this will love.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Me from the side.
- 19:00Speaker 2: So what you're eating at eight a m.
- 19:06Speaker 4: That's fair.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I just want to this.
- 19:11Speaker 4: This is a callback to two episodes ago. Now I
- 19:16Speaker 4: think here's my unopened tea.
- 19:19Speaker 2: That was years ago. Oh yeah, tea she got in.
- 19:23Speaker 4: I finally am home taste. So I'm going to have
- 19:27Speaker 4: this later. But we did talk about this. It's the
- 19:30Speaker 4: Kwanzu milk Oolong tea. And so it's premium oolong with
- 19:35Speaker 4: sweet milk, light orchid and camellia. So I'm gonna make
- 19:39Speaker 4: this later so I will report back to OTL Nation.
- 19:44Speaker 4: I'm just kidding. I'm sorry, I missed sports what my
- 19:49Speaker 4: team lost, so there's no Steeler Nation. So now there's
- 19:51Speaker 4: OTL Nation. And wait, sorry, James has never heard me
- 20:02Speaker 4: do my babe. I can't do it now.
- 20:06Speaker 2: He is like a horn bag.
- 20:11Speaker 4: It's so bad. And I used to do it all
- 20:13Speaker 4: the time on the Fink Show. Over Yeah, I don't
- 20:19Speaker 4: even know how to do it now.
- 20:20Speaker 3: They made it name horn same.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Yeah, they made a turtle version of the Yeah, so
- 20:28Speaker 4: turtles having sex make this like.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Oh, it's so good.
- 20:33Speaker 6: That's my text notification for.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Turtle.
- 20:40Speaker 8: But not only do they have this like orchid blooming
- 20:43Speaker 8: penis thing like like, they also have to sound like
- 20:46Speaker 8: a dying squeaky and like you can tell it.
- 20:57Speaker 4: They put so much effort into it too, like they're
- 21:00Speaker 4: little giving every house forward. The mouse wide is it can.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Be cornery, Yeah, going out doing what they like.
- 21:10Speaker 3: And that's why turtles can't do poppers. That's why.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Did you try to give one to a.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Turtle we're recording. I can't confess to anything. I'm sorry.
- 21:24Speaker 2: That's smart.
- 21:25Speaker 6: Smart Peter would be all over there.
- 21:27Speaker 2: That's right.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Oh god, But like what if Pamela Anderson showed up
- 21:34Speaker 4: and was like, I want to talk to you about
- 21:36Speaker 4: the animals. Don't give poppers to turtles.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Don't give Liam Neeson's dick some attention. That's their dating now.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that was.
- 21:50Speaker 4: For me.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I met in the Naked Gun movie.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's sweet. I also think it's sweet
- 21:57Speaker 4: that she is like, you don't have to wear makeup, ladies,
- 22:00Speaker 4: and she's like not doing the whole makeup thing anymore.
- 22:02Speaker 2: No makeup, no more.
- 22:04Speaker 4: I almost never did, like it's a rarity to see
- 22:07Speaker 4: me in makeup, although I do wear makeup all week.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Business trips make me play makeup.
- 22:14Speaker 2: He's a business traveler woman, girl boss.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Fancy.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 1: I I also had to put on makeup while I
- 22:22Speaker 1: was traveling in December. So I feel I feel you,
- 22:24Speaker 1: but in a different way, but.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Was much better. It was fun makeup.
- 22:29Speaker 2: It wasn't like fun character makeup.
- 22:33Speaker 4: So you you did. Let's talk about what you did
- 22:36Speaker 4: since we last saw you, because you did a lot.
- 22:44Speaker 6: He wants to, like exhaustly just thinking about it.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Yeah, like we shreck for sure?
- 22:51Speaker 2: You played shreck.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yes, So in October. There is a farm here in
- 22:55Speaker 1: Oregon called Bowman Farms and they do a fall festival
- 22:59Speaker 1: and uh, they oftentimes will have characters come out for
- 23:03Speaker 1: the weekends where it's busier. They want more like character
- 23:06Speaker 1: engagement and things like that. And so for this year,
- 23:08Speaker 1: one of the days I was Shrek and so it
- 23:11Speaker 1: was a full over the head which is funny.
- 23:15Speaker 3: It was they made me wear a bald cap.
- 23:22Speaker 1: It was so weird because then I have this like
- 23:24Speaker 1: really smooth bald cap skin texture and then actual skin
- 23:28Speaker 1: and then the prostheticit.
- 23:30Speaker 3: For the years it was it was really funny.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Are you doing the Scottish accent? Oh?
- 23:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Everybody was asking me what a donkey was and I'm like,
- 23:38Speaker 1: he's off with the dragon.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Of course. No, I don't care if they want take
- 23:51Speaker 3: see I was Shrek. I was also tin Man.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Yeah, oh like like hit like it's over tin Man
- 23:58Speaker 4: classic tin Man was in Woodsman, so you obviously don't
- 24:02Speaker 4: have that same aversion to it's Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 6: No.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I used some of the makeup that was given to
- 24:12Speaker 1: me for Morgan Children's Theater and nice this crazy. So
- 24:16Speaker 1: I used a metallic like cream paint as like a foundation,
- 24:19Speaker 1: and then ben n has this metallic powder that I
- 24:23Speaker 1: used as a setting powder to like go over the
- 24:25Speaker 1: top of that.
- 24:26Speaker 3: I was so shiny. I was almost like chrome. Is
- 24:30Speaker 3: how shiny my face was. It was kind of ridiculous.
- 24:34Speaker 4: In my head. It's the stuff my nail lady uses
- 24:36Speaker 4: on my nails sometimes to get the chrome effect. Like
- 24:39Speaker 4: that's what you've used on your face?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Did you put it on.
- 24:42Speaker 4: And go witnessed me? Oh my god, my god, I'm
- 24:51Speaker 4: gonna call you bick now, even though that's not the
- 24:54Speaker 4: ten Man anywhere.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Mocked because.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I never called big. Really, have you.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Read the backstory of the Tin Woodsman and like how
- 25:12Speaker 1: he actually came to be that way, like in.
- 25:13Speaker 4: The Gregory Maguire one, or in like the traditional the
- 25:20Speaker 4: Frank Bomb, the Frank baumb you mean the original.
- 25:23Speaker 1: The original if I'm remembering this correctly. He he's in
- 25:28Speaker 1: love with the witch's sister, and the witch gets jealous,
- 25:33Speaker 1: and so she curses his axe, and the axe slowly
- 25:36Speaker 1: basically chops him up, like it chopped off his leg,
- 25:38Speaker 1: and so he replaces his leg with a tin leg,
- 25:41Speaker 1: and then he chops off his other leg and he
- 25:42Speaker 1: replaces that leg, and then you know, his arm, and
- 25:45Speaker 1: then his torso, and then eventually the axe chops off his.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Head and he gets his head replaced with a tin head.
- 25:55Speaker 1: But that's why he doesn't have a heart, is because
- 25:57Speaker 1: the axe chopped it out.
- 25:58Speaker 2: But he had to keep his dick right.
- 26:04Speaker 4: It's like a telescoping, uh like a spyglass or a telescopes.
- 26:08Speaker 4: It's like a choose a dick size thing or like
- 26:12Speaker 4: one of those table or uh legs where you can
- 26:15Speaker 4: like choose the height.
- 26:18Speaker 3: You got a crank.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Arm, frank at it.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's that's fucked up. Bob was on some
- 26:28Speaker 4: drugs to be honest, like for sure, like although nothing
- 26:33Speaker 4: is more terrifying than the what is it? Returned to
- 26:38Speaker 4: oz the like eighties media Saruka bull the heads.
- 26:42Speaker 2: I don't know man, like the wheelers.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Wheelers are weird.
- 26:46Speaker 2: You haven't seen that one with fruz of ball turn
- 26:49Speaker 2: to worth checking out.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Okay, so picture this. The evil queen out has this
- 26:56Speaker 4: like massive closet that would make you so excited to
- 26:59Speaker 4: put like all your like costume pieces and things, and
- 27:02Speaker 4: except it's full of fucking heads. Because instead of just
- 27:06Speaker 4: like changing her wig, this bitch shooses to replace her
- 27:11Speaker 4: entire head, and the heads are all like aware and
- 27:14Speaker 4: they're staring at Dorothy. And if that's not enough night
- 27:18Speaker 4: fuel Yeah, if that's not enough Nightmare of fuel way
- 27:22Speaker 4: for it. These things called the Wheelers, which are essentially
- 27:25Speaker 4: people that's hands and feet have been replaced with wheels,
- 27:30Speaker 4: are chasing Dorothy through thing. Yeah. They's terrifying. Their arms
- 27:36Speaker 4: are long because they've got the still like things that
- 27:40Speaker 4: sort of like Delly Tamer used for the animals, and
- 27:43Speaker 4: they've got that sort of extension.
- 27:45Speaker 2: And Dorothy's getting electro.
- 27:49Speaker 3: It's all fucked.
- 27:50Speaker 4: It is a fucking upsetting film.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Doesn't the one call her mommy Jack the pumpkin.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Guy, Yeah, yeah, mommy Yeah, and her friend's weird pumpkinheaded
- 28:02Speaker 4: guy that's like a hybrid star crow.
- 28:05Speaker 6: And then the things we watched his children, it's.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Like a sofa with a moose head. They make it
- 28:11Speaker 2: come to life.
- 28:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:12Speaker 2: He's like I shouldn't be Yeah.
- 28:14Speaker 4: He literally is aware that he's an abomination and says
- 28:17Speaker 4: it multiple times.
- 28:19Speaker 2: This was for children.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Yeah. Actually, the Alice in Wonderland mini series from the
- 28:27Speaker 4: eighties with like uh uh, I can't think of his name,
- 28:33Speaker 4: The Beatle no one cares about Ringo Star. Is that
- 28:38Speaker 4: the one with Whoopy and she's a cheshire cat or something?
- 28:42Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 28:43Speaker 4: Yeah, that one has this scene with the Jabberwocke coming
- 28:47Speaker 4: like into this room that like I might still pee
- 28:50Speaker 4: my pants today if I see it. Like they really
- 28:55Speaker 4: really hated us in the eighties as children. I'm just
- 28:58Speaker 4: let's fuck them up. Yeah, therapy for everybody. You get
- 29:03Speaker 4: it there right in the middle of a Pewee Herman movie.
- 29:05Speaker 7: We're gonna scare the shit out, yeah, large mars.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I mean there is a part of me that is
- 29:14Speaker 1: here for it, Like you know, the classic things from
- 29:16Speaker 1: the holidays, like crampis and stuff, and how that was
- 29:19Speaker 1: like digitally terrified for children I have there is a
- 29:22Speaker 1: place in my heart where I'm like, let's bring that back.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Let's bring back a little bit of that fun, spooky, spooky.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Oh I'm fine, anapough, but like when someone's child, why
- 29:32Speaker 4: are you so into like horror movies and murder shows.
- 29:35Speaker 4: I'm like, let me talk to you about eighties. I'm
- 29:37Speaker 4: broken for children, here's why. And let's not get started
- 29:43Speaker 4: on Get Along Gang and how that taught me I'd
- 29:45Speaker 4: be kidnapped and bullied.
- 29:48Speaker 2: It'll be a daily problem for you.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Yeah, anyway, daily.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Get over one trauma and you have another one that
- 29:55Speaker 3: pops up.
- 29:55Speaker 4: I'll get kidnapped twice in at a twenty minute kids show?
- 29:59Speaker 4: Is what that cartoon?
- 30:01Speaker 5: Tap?
- 30:02Speaker 4: All right? Enough about me?
- 30:08Speaker 3: Or do you want more from me?
- 30:09Speaker 4: Anybody?
- 30:11Speaker 5: Oh?
- 30:11Speaker 3: Sure? Yeah?
- 30:13Speaker 1: The holidays didn't just stop there. Yes, so make up
- 30:17Speaker 1: on tour and everything. This year for the Santa Rival
- 30:21Speaker 1: Christmas Tree Lighting Tour, which took us to Boise, Idaho,
- 30:25Speaker 1: two locations in Washington and Salt Lake City, Utah. Wow,
- 30:31Speaker 1: toy soldier on stilts and then being an empty and
- 30:35Speaker 1: then this is my first year officially as a Santa.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Oh in the house.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Yeah, wondrous are the most adorable Santa. I played that.
- 30:51Speaker 4: I immediately was like mom, Dad, look it out. Cutie
- 30:54Speaker 4: is as Santa. And they were like okay, and I
- 30:57Speaker 4: was like, no, no, this is the guy that was
- 31:00Speaker 4: roxy and that's no lady. And they're like, okay, that's fine,
- 31:04Speaker 4: you have friends. Really look what I had done.
- 31:15Speaker 2: I like the I like how we saw the mannequin
- 31:17Speaker 2: disco god that.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Was and your lamp you posted a little little lamp.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah that I don't know where it came from,
- 31:30Speaker 1: but I just have this affinity for oil lamps. I
- 31:33Speaker 1: think that one that the warmth that you get from
- 31:35Speaker 1: it's really nice. The light is really nice. And when
- 31:39Speaker 1: I saw that thing in the vintage mall, I was like,
- 31:41Speaker 1: holy shit, I must have it.
- 31:43Speaker 2: This must be mine.
- 31:46Speaker 1: When I was a kid, I went to the Enchanted
- 31:49Speaker 1: Forest together all the time as a kid, and one
- 31:53Speaker 1: of the things you could get in there, like gift
- 31:55Speaker 1: shop or whatever, was this like three inch tall, actually
- 31:59Speaker 1: functioning lamp. And I have no idea where it went,
- 32:04Speaker 1: but I did oftentimes use it. It could only burn for
- 32:06Speaker 1: like two or three hours before it ran out of fuel,
- 32:08Speaker 1: but it was just the cure.
- 32:10Speaker 4: I like, I thought you were going to say two
- 32:12Speaker 4: or three minutes, andthing was whoa but.
- 32:17Speaker 5: A lot.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Yeah, Kristin and I are immediately sad that they don't
- 32:22Speaker 4: still have those, and we didn't buy them while we
- 32:23Speaker 4: were there, by the.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Way, Yeah, that's fair. I'm sad for you.
- 32:29Speaker 6: Yeah, next time I'll look online.
- 32:34Speaker 4: I do think with the right uh cinematographer and makeup
- 32:40Speaker 4: artists that you could make a very scary horror film
- 32:43Speaker 4: that Enchanted Forest. Despite how much I love it. You
- 32:46Speaker 4: could easily turn that into Nightmare of Fuel, where you're
- 32:49Speaker 4: like trapped alone on a mountain in an abandoned theme
- 32:52Speaker 4: park kind of the thing.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Did you ever see that film Nights of Is it
- 32:57Speaker 3: bad as bad Ass?
- 32:59Speaker 10: No?
- 33:00Speaker 2: Oh, I know what you're talking about. Helping Peter Dinklie.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Peter Dinklie was in it.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And it's basically LARPing festival and somehow this demon is
- 33:11Speaker 1: accent like that. This guy finds this old ancient book.
- 33:14Speaker 1: He's like, oh, this is gonna be perfect for LARPing,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and so he takes it to this festival and.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Reads from it and never read from the book.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Unleash is a demon and it's like this fun, friendly whatever, goofy,
- 33:27Speaker 1: geeky environment. But then at the same time people's like
- 33:30Speaker 1: faces are.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Being ripped open.
- 33:34Speaker 10: That sounds fun.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Again.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Nights of Badass it's either badass.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Or bad ass dumb or something.
- 33:43Speaker 4: And it's nights like of the Round Table.
- 33:47Speaker 11: Yes, yeah, can.
- 33:52Speaker 4: The nights I was making myself.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Kind nights Nights all right?
- 34:00Speaker 4: Well, I don't know what do you guys think? Do
- 34:02Speaker 4: you wanna you want to head into the Yeah, the
- 34:05Speaker 4: knitty gritty of this Golden Girls World.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Let's do it.
- 34:11Speaker 2: The season it went like you should.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Lick that cheesecake just like you.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Heah, you go.
- 34:20Speaker 7: Season three, episode four is called The Housekeeper. The original
- 34:25Speaker 7: air date was October seventeenth, nineteen eighty seven, directed by
- 34:30Speaker 7: Terry Hughes, written by Winifred Harvey, star Warsh Okay, what
- 34:38Speaker 7: do you think the Housekeeper will be?
- 34:40Speaker 2: She got married?
- 34:41Speaker 4: Yeah, her name fluctuates in the credits. It's like when
- 34:44Speaker 4: she'll go back, Yeah, like if she she was mad
- 34:48Speaker 4: or not.
- 34:48Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 34:49Speaker 4: It's very weird.
- 34:51Speaker 3: You didn't like her Vienna sausages.
- 34:56Speaker 6: The Housekeeper. I know what this one's about. This is
- 35:00Speaker 6: a detective episode where they're trying to find out what
- 35:04Speaker 6: happened to Cocos.
- 35:08Speaker 7: For Coco all right, that's it fine, he was in
- 35:12Speaker 7: the pilot, James or if we don't know?
- 35:14Speaker 2: And then the Housekeeper for.
- 35:16Speaker 1: A safe it's a safe assumption that, like most of
- 35:19Speaker 1: the lore or the trivia on Golden Girls, I don't
- 35:23Speaker 1: know what.
- 35:25Speaker 2: But what do you think The Housekeeper will be about?
- 35:30Speaker 3: I think The Housekeeper is about a they need some
- 35:33Speaker 3: help taking care of the house, and so they bring
- 35:34Speaker 3: someone in to be a housekeeper. But it turns out
- 35:38Speaker 3: that this person is not who they say they are.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Wow, it's like he's been in television.
- 35:44Speaker 4: It's so weird. Have you seen this?
- 35:47Speaker 3: So did I nail it?
- 35:51Speaker 4: It's pretty close.
- 35:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 7: Now you kids have to say, who will be the
- 35:57Speaker 7: hardest for Aaron to pain?
- 35:59Speaker 2: Is the villain of the four gals?
- 36:09Speaker 6: Yeah? I'm thinking Rose.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Oh this is back to back Rose?
- 36:15Speaker 2: Is that okay with you? James?
- 36:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm I'm on it with Rose. I think you
- 36:19Speaker 3: know she's going to be all about this new housekeeper.
- 36:24Speaker 6: Right, and it's Blanche's house, so I could see her
- 36:27Speaker 6: being more critical to a housekeeper. So that's why I
- 36:30Speaker 6: think Rose would be harder to make the bad guy.
- 36:38Speaker 2: I like it.
- 36:39Speaker 3: You make it the sweat like how Aaron's like blurring
- 36:43Speaker 3: effect sometimes pops onto the microphone and it just looks
- 36:46Speaker 3: like it's taking out part of her.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Yeahant trunk or something.
- 36:52Speaker 3: What's that happening?
- 36:53Speaker 4: Is that better?
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yes?
- 36:54Speaker 4: I do have an elephant trunk. Wait, you didn't know
- 36:56Speaker 4: that that was my go as good as my is.
- 37:10Speaker 3: It worth it? Let me work, get.
- 37:19Speaker 4: Let me work, let me work it. Fuck you guys,
- 37:24Speaker 4: let's Uh.
- 37:26Speaker 2: That's fair.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Three episodes. Now that I'm doing some temporary editing, I
- 37:32Speaker 4: just want to say three episodes in a row. There's
- 37:34Speaker 4: been a moment where we all shoot on Aeron's uh something.
- 37:40Speaker 3: That's what friends are for.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, these assholes taught me. Uh A group
- 37:46Speaker 4: of my friends, including Kristen, taught me about having siblings
- 37:50Speaker 4: on a trip recently, and I fucking hated it. So yeah,
- 37:55Speaker 4: I'm good. No, it's fine.
- 37:56Speaker 2: You used to a princess.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Every family trip at least one.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Because I have an older sister and a younger brother,
- 38:03Speaker 1: one of us will do or say something and then
- 38:05Speaker 1: the other two will just rip into that sibling.
- 38:10Speaker 4: Okay, I'm I'm I'm learning to.
- 38:12Speaker 2: That's why people have anxiety issue.
- 38:14Speaker 6: It's a love language.
- 38:17Speaker 4: Yeah, your love language is hate.
- 38:18Speaker 10: A fucking idiot, jump, fucking bitch.
- 38:24Speaker 3: This is why my mom thinks you're a whore.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Also because you're a whore.
- 38:30Speaker 3: That was said to me. By the way, I mean
- 38:33Speaker 3: that checks out. Yeah yeah I can't.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I mean, if the dick fits.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I mean, it's like when someone calls me a cocksucker,
- 38:43Speaker 1: It's like, well, what.
- 38:44Speaker 4: I mean, You're not wrong?
- 38:46Speaker 2: Twenty dollars.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Well, that's why I woke up behind a dumpster this morning.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Thank you ATLA your kidneys, Yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 3: That's true, and only half my liver miracles.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Hey, your liver grows back, right, that's the one that
- 39:02Speaker 4: kind of like regenerate, regenerate a little bit.
- 39:05Speaker 3: I think not with my alcohol consumption.
- 39:09Speaker 4: TXT. If you're gonna keep putting up roadblocks, I can't
- 39:12Speaker 4: help you, sir.
- 39:14Speaker 3: That's fair, that's fair. You're trying all right.
- 39:16Speaker 4: Well, I think maybe it's time that we go away
- 39:20Speaker 4: and our guests listen to some beautiful commercials from our genners.
- 39:29Speaker 10: Hey there, I'm Dave, the host of Beer in Front.
- 39:33Speaker 10: Sometimes the beer in front of you is the best
- 39:36Speaker 10: one yet. I'll talk about some old school beers that
- 39:40Speaker 10: maybe you've forgotten about, some new beers that have the
- 39:43Speaker 10: potential to be a classic. I'll also talk to various
- 39:47Speaker 10: people around the beer world and get their stories all
- 39:52Speaker 10: about beer. That's Beer in Front, and it's available on
- 39:56Speaker 10: all of your favorite podcast apps.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Funny, what did you kids think of the episode?
- 40:05Speaker 6: It was good, It wasn't like the best, it wasn't
- 40:08Speaker 6: the worst. It was just an average episode.
- 40:10Speaker 2: I fell Yeah, I agree.
- 40:14Speaker 4: I actually really like this one. I like Marguerite, I
- 40:18Speaker 4: like the character, and I like her outfits, but it's
- 40:22Speaker 4: not like the funniest one. You're not wrong, but.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I fully expected her to like be lying about the
- 40:27Speaker 2: accent at the end, right, h just drop it and
- 40:32Speaker 2: be like, okay, see later.
- 40:36Speaker 1: As a props person, I enjoyed this episode because it
- 40:39Speaker 1: was very props heavy and effect heavy, like the sink exploding,
- 40:46Speaker 1: the very clearly not actually generating any form of heat,
- 40:49Speaker 1: barbecue right on them, right on top of it, I
- 40:55Speaker 1: very stiff hamburger patties.
- 40:58Speaker 4: You can hear her flip. I had to kind of
- 41:02Speaker 4: change the microphone around to play the episode for you guys.
- 41:05Speaker 4: But uh, I wanted so badly to point out that
- 41:09Speaker 4: when she's flipping those burgers and chicken patties, you can
- 41:13Speaker 4: hear them like clanking. Also on the grill. It's clearly
- 41:19Speaker 4: there's an echo to it.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Someone breaking in.
- 41:24Speaker 4: I heard something, squirrel, No, it is one of my
- 41:28Speaker 4: chow keys fell off the monitor. I committed suicide. Oh God,
- 41:32Speaker 4: get out of the house.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I don't want to be a cute thing anymore.
- 41:39Speaker 7: I don't want to wait my large to get colder.
- 41:44Speaker 4: All right, Anyway, that whole grill scene bothered me when
- 41:47Speaker 4: I was working on the quiz who.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Grabbed Hamberger patties from the side?
- 41:51Speaker 4: Look, I don't know nobody.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I need names.
- 41:54Speaker 7: As a man telling us how to grill man splaining
- 41:57Speaker 7: the grill.
- 41:58Speaker 4: Which prop person, which clown?
- 42:02Speaker 2: Dare you women do it like that?
- 42:03Speaker 4: Which prop person decided that they should go get like
- 42:06Speaker 4: the heaviest waxy plastic food props ever, Like it would
- 42:13Speaker 4: have been better to just go buy like three McDonald's
- 42:17Speaker 4: hamburgers and throw those on the grill and let them
- 42:20Speaker 4: just kind of be gross. Then those heavy plant I
- 42:26Speaker 4: do remember.
- 42:26Speaker 2: It's in HD now. It wasn't then. They didn't think
- 42:29Speaker 2: people would notice this shit.
- 42:31Speaker 4: It was the sounds that bothered me. I don't give
- 42:34Speaker 4: a shit when there's like a fake baby in a show,
- 42:37Speaker 4: but this was different. It was that like, I've never
- 42:42Speaker 4: flipped a hamburger or a chicken breast on a grill,
- 42:44Speaker 4: and how to be like thump thumb unless it's still
- 42:48Speaker 4: frozen right anyway, that's for me.
- 42:53Speaker 1: It's like the nuance of practicality or realism, Like when
- 42:57Speaker 1: people have like a coffee cup and that's clearly empty
- 42:59Speaker 1: and they're just kind of like.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Drives me someone there.
- 43:05Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's the weight, Like this cup with the
- 43:08Speaker 4: water in it is there's a fear of spilling. But
- 43:13Speaker 4: when you put an actor, I guess actors just aren't
- 43:16Speaker 4: smart enough to like feel the weight, because it's the
- 43:18Speaker 4: same thing with persons with us well, no, but James
- 43:23Speaker 4: also does.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Prop motherfuckers hain't spot.
- 43:29Speaker 4: I think if you were going to carry something on
- 43:30Speaker 4: the set, you would put something in it to feel
- 43:34Speaker 4: the weight, or you would at last act as if
- 43:37Speaker 4: it had weight. If you watch people on like like
- 43:41Speaker 4: Gilmore Girls was very guilty of this. They always had
- 43:44Speaker 4: those like disposable coffee cups, and like Rory would be
- 43:47Speaker 4: like Italian talking with this cup of full coffee. Everyone
- 43:54Speaker 4: in fucking Stars Hollow would have been covered in hot
- 43:56Speaker 4: coffee if that was real life. Yes, it fills me
- 44:03Speaker 4: with rage when I see that ship.
- 44:05Speaker 2: And you also hate when the luggage is empty.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Oh the luggage thing. I have carried suitcases my whole life.
- 44:14Speaker 4: I've always been an active traveler, and so when someone's like, WHOA,
- 44:19Speaker 4: let's go thank grab suitcase.
- 44:21Speaker 2: I'm like, there's nothing in there.
- 44:22Speaker 4: You should your shoulder should hurt at the end of
- 44:25Speaker 4: a trip, but your bag is empty. Clearly.
- 44:29Speaker 1: There have been times I've done props for a show
- 44:31Speaker 1: and I've filled suitcases and people are like, James, why
- 44:34Speaker 1: is the suitcase so heavy? This is you know it's
- 44:36Speaker 1: a theater show, Like it's fake. I'm like, because I
- 44:38Speaker 1: watched that actor repeatedly pick it up as though it
- 44:41Speaker 1: was filled with helium.
- 44:43Speaker 6: Yeah, they're the strong man at the so.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Now props is having to do their job for them.
- 44:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:48Speaker 7: Oh, and you don't tell them and then they're like.
- 44:54Speaker 4: Yeah, oh amazed, but like an anvil and like a
- 44:59Speaker 4: thing I would be dead actors, or you.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Get them used to the weight and then one day
- 45:03Speaker 2: you take it all. They're like, I fall backward.
- 45:08Speaker 3: That sounds like a work I wouldn't do.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Yeah, if I ever put weight in something, I do
- 45:12Speaker 1: tell them ahead of time. Like one show I had
- 45:15Speaker 1: a bouquet toss and they had to toss it almost
- 45:16Speaker 1: all the way across the stage. I don't know if
- 45:18Speaker 1: you've ever thrown flowers, but there they've got a lot
- 45:21Speaker 1: of air resistance and they don't want to fly, and
- 45:24Speaker 1: so I straight up put bolts, like these massive bolts
- 45:26Speaker 1: into like the stalks of.
- 45:28Speaker 3: The bouquet and then wrapped it in the ribbon.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Well, that was the other reason I wanted wait and
- 45:35Speaker 1: is because there was a comedy moment where she like, let's.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Go of the bouquet and it just goes to the floor,
- 45:40Speaker 3: and I thought that was hilarious.
- 45:43Speaker 4: I one of them also first shows I ever did
- 45:48Speaker 4: props on was Pippin.
- 45:49Speaker 3: And very prop heavy.
- 45:52Speaker 4: That it's so prop heavy, but we had to throw
- 45:56Speaker 4: the baby on for.
- 46:00Speaker 2: You just throw a baby.
- 46:02Speaker 4: They're talking about baby Pippin or I don't remember, there's
- 46:06Speaker 4: any they have a baby, and so I had to
- 46:08Speaker 4: like throw this baby on it. So I had to
- 46:10Speaker 4: sort of weight the blanket because the actors couldn't catch
- 46:14Speaker 4: the baby ever. So it's a very real thing that
- 46:18Speaker 4: you have to sort of.
- 46:19Speaker 7: So there's a moment where the actors have to catch
- 46:21Speaker 7: the baby from off stage.
- 46:23Speaker 4: Yeah, they're telling the story of like Pippin being born
- 46:26Speaker 4: or something at the beginning, and so and they're like
- 46:29Speaker 4: and then Pippin was born or whatever, and so we
- 46:32Speaker 4: like throw the bait and then catch the baby and
- 46:35Speaker 4: cry sound effect and then they throw the baby off
- 46:38Speaker 4: the other side. So I had to have another person
- 46:40Speaker 4: on the other side to catch it better if they
- 46:43Speaker 4: better if they drop it. Oh shit.
- 46:46Speaker 1: We did a production of the Marriage of Bet and
- 46:48Speaker 1: Boo and we straight up dropped a baby from the
- 46:51Speaker 1: grid so that we're like and then they had a
- 46:55Speaker 1: baby and this baby doll.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Just like cook, Wait, what's the grid?
- 47:00Speaker 1: The grid is the structure overs a theater stage that
- 47:03Speaker 1: has a pulleys for all of the theatrical.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Scenes, a lot of feet.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and it was like a twin first persidium, and
- 47:13Speaker 1: so there's all this space for this doll to travel.
- 47:17Speaker 3: And yeah, we waited it so that it would just
- 47:18Speaker 3: clunk to the floor.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Your baby said now, and so like there was.
- 47:24Speaker 1: No recognition that a baby had just fallen from the
- 47:26Speaker 1: guy and slammed into the floor. We would like walk
- 47:29Speaker 1: up to it on the floor, picke and be like, oh,
- 47:30Speaker 1: look at our sweet little child.
- 47:31Speaker 3: And then same thing. Yeah, just fastage baby was something mighty.
- 47:36Speaker 6: Armstet out of my life.
- 47:41Speaker 4: After being the prop master for Pippen at like I
- 47:45Speaker 4: don't know, fourteen or fifteen years old and developing all
- 47:50Speaker 4: of that shit, I'm very critical when I see it
- 47:52Speaker 4: and I'm actually seeing Pippin up here in Portland in
- 47:55Speaker 4: like a week or so.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I have a few friends in that production.
- 47:59Speaker 4: Oh really very cool, baby.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Man, please don't heckle.
- 48:06Speaker 4: I actually own a prop slash costume from a college
- 48:13Speaker 4: production of Pip and I saw years later, because I
- 48:18Speaker 4: U there's a scene where they're doing it talking about
- 48:20Speaker 4: maps and stuff and Pippen and I love I did.
- 48:24Speaker 4: I did pull out maps that they could dance with,
- 48:28Speaker 4: and they were like scrolls. This college theater I saw
- 48:35Speaker 4: would always do like sales at the end of their season,
- 48:41Speaker 4: and they would get rid of things that they weren't
- 48:43Speaker 4: gonna need for any reason. And the map for the
- 48:46Speaker 4: war as a science song at that school, was painted
- 48:50Speaker 4: onto a girl. It was like a white leotard and
- 48:56Speaker 4: she put her arms out and it was the map.
- 48:59Speaker 2: And so I owned by the girl.
- 49:01Speaker 4: No, I just bought the costume because it was so
- 49:04Speaker 4: beautifully painted. Spoiler alert. It's like a size double zero
- 49:08Speaker 4: And no matter how then I've ever been in my life,
- 49:10Speaker 4: my bones are.
- 49:11Speaker 2: The size gross.
- 49:13Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it's so small, but I do somewhere in
- 49:17Speaker 4: my storage, I have that costume.
- 49:18Speaker 2: That's really cool.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Yeah, that's super cool.
- 49:22Speaker 2: I like that. That's a good idea.
- 49:24Speaker 4: Yeah, it wasn't mine though, so well, don't tell.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Anyone that part.
- 49:28Speaker 4: You know what was my idea though?
- 49:32Speaker 2: Did this whole show?
- 49:33Speaker 4: To do this show? Yeah, yeah, to bring me one,
- 49:38Speaker 4: have us meet James.
- 49:39Speaker 6: Thank you, one of her best ideas ever.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Sitting on you. Now, we love you, we love you, praise.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Erin and then you cun it off, just to we're clear.
- 49:56Speaker 4: Just for anyone listening whacking off James, please don't poop
- 49:59Speaker 4: on me. Feel free to tease me like I'm your sibling.
- 50:03Speaker 3: That was bad timing.
- 50:07Speaker 2: They'll tell me when to wax off.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Oh god, my hobby For those at home, my hobby
- 50:12Speaker 1: is not pooping on Aaron.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think either one of them.
- 50:18Speaker 4: I know we're supposed to hang out soon, but I
- 50:20Speaker 4: have to cancel that.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Where your maples, you.
- 50:24Speaker 4: Don't poop on me. I can't fit in the maples.
- 50:27Speaker 4: I'm gonna put it on like my thigh is what
- 50:29Speaker 4: I put it on.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Poop on me?
- 50:31Speaker 4: Oh my god?
- 50:32Speaker 1: All right, you know what, let's uh, let's comic where
- 50:37Speaker 1: it's like a little flower in Hell or something like that, and.
- 50:42Speaker 3: It's like pe on me. Oh it's Charlie the unicorn.
- 50:47Speaker 4: O Nobliever, that one, well, that's one of the episodes, but.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Yeah, then't know there were more episodes.
- 50:57Speaker 1: He like goes into is it hell or a cave
- 51:01Speaker 1: or something like that, and there's this like little flower
- 51:04Speaker 1: growing out of a crack, and it's.
- 51:05Speaker 4: Like, pee on me. I'm so thirsty, p on me.
- 51:09Speaker 1: And he's like, oh, this is kind of weird, but okay,
- 51:12Speaker 1: and so he starts to peeing.
- 51:13Speaker 3: He's like, oh God, it's going up by Oh God.
- 51:19Speaker 2: You don't need to know about your sexual awakening.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 51:23Speaker 2: He's in the Unicorns.
- 51:25Speaker 4: I really thought that I was gonna use all let's
- 51:28Speaker 4: wipe this light clean poop wiping joke earlier, but now
- 51:32Speaker 4: I'm gonna say, let's just move on. Uh, it's time
- 51:36Speaker 4: for It's time for the Queen. All right, we have
- 51:40Speaker 4: a show.
- 51:40Speaker 6: We have more to do.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 51:44Speaker 3: We've got magic to do.
- 51:45Speaker 4: Yeah, this is the show is just for you. The
- 51:52Speaker 4: Steven Schwartz right now somewhere is like, we're gonna fucking
- 51:55Speaker 4: charge that podcast for this episode.
- 51:59Speaker 2: All right, we'll get some notoriety, okay, m hm hm.
- 52:09Speaker 2: The Older Girls Podcast rips Off.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Sued by Stephen schwar all right.
- 52:15Speaker 3: And then people are like, oh my god, this must
- 52:20Speaker 3: be so controversial. They tune in. They're talking about Vienna sausages.
- 52:24Speaker 3: I don't understand.
- 52:26Speaker 4: People, Little Sunshine. I'm just gonna keep doing the piping jokes.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Now, all right, let's do the pip in the podcast.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do that. Let's do the quiz. Yeah.
- 52:40Speaker 4: Just as a reminder, please let me finish the question.
- 52:43Speaker 4: It's entirety. Your name is your buzzer. It's not my
- 52:47Speaker 4: fault if you have a multi syllabic name. Jimmy know
- 52:55Speaker 4: I did. It's just a callback.
- 52:58Speaker 2: I just meant so it would be too so bols.
- 53:02Speaker 2: He doesn't like Jimmy. I guess about Jimbo.
- 53:09Speaker 3: Yack only because I love that that queen. But no,
- 53:14Speaker 3: not Jimbo either.
- 53:17Speaker 4: I'm gonna just start the quiz and if no one
- 53:20Speaker 4: wants to play, that's fine, but I'm gonna say, all right,
- 53:24Speaker 4: let's do it. What two wedding gifts is Sophia considering
- 53:28Speaker 4: for Phil's daughter Kristen.
- 53:33Speaker 2: You guys came to play.
- 53:34Speaker 4: They came to play. It was Kristen. Unfortunately, James, I'm
- 53:37Speaker 4: so sorry.
- 53:42Speaker 3: Good No kristin the Dominatrix comes out.
- 53:53Speaker 4: I know, I know, all right. What were the two options?
- 53:58Speaker 6: A lace, table claw or fifty dollars towards the neck?
- 54:02Speaker 2: Yep, yep, I wonder how much a neck is?
- 54:08Speaker 4: Eighty seven? Apparently less than or more than fifty dollars? Right, yeah,
- 54:13Speaker 4: all right?
- 54:14Speaker 1: Uh?
- 54:15Speaker 4: What does Dorothy tell Sophia to go ahead and give
- 54:20Speaker 4: as the gift?
- 54:23Speaker 3: Kristin?
- 54:24Speaker 6: Yes, the tablecloth?
- 54:26Speaker 11: Yeah, yay, Kristin, write that one down, well done, right.
- 54:37Speaker 4: The first housekeeper they interview spent some time in San
- 54:41Speaker 4: Quentin during those fifteen years. How many times does she
- 54:46Speaker 4: say she saw Johnny Cash Gina fuckay Kristin?
- 54:53Speaker 6: Eight times?
- 54:54Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 54:57Speaker 4: Next one, roses grandparent, it's got together because of a
- 55:01Speaker 4: love potion. It wasn't really a potion.
- 55:04Speaker 6: What was it, Kristen? Yes, it was a footsow that
- 55:10Speaker 6: he accidentally swallowed.
- 55:12Speaker 3: That's what that was. I couldn't quite understand what she said,
- 55:17Speaker 3: and so I was like.
- 55:18Speaker 4: I don't know, I don't know, all right, Well, do better, guys.
- 55:23Speaker 2: A solve anonguint and ointment ointment?
- 55:27Speaker 4: All right? You know, I like a good list.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Who doesn't.
- 55:33Speaker 4: What are Dorothy's grievances with Marguerite?
- 55:37Speaker 2: How many do you want?
- 55:39Speaker 4: She had three, so probably the three or as many
- 55:44Speaker 4: of the three as possible. Whoever gives me the most
- 55:46Speaker 4: of the three?
- 55:48Speaker 2: Gina?
- 55:49Speaker 3: Okay, she was late.
- 55:52Speaker 2: She put a rock under her bed. She didn't clean
- 55:56Speaker 2: the toilet.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Okay, well you got one of them, yay, anyone else
- 56:02Speaker 4: have more than one? And it gets the point.
- 56:05Speaker 3: I guess it a shot. I only remembered late.
- 56:08Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, late didn't clean.
- 56:12Speaker 4: She's habitually late. She's broken quite a few glasses. And
- 56:17Speaker 4: she threw out People magazine before. I'm sure she got
- 56:20Speaker 4: a chance to read it.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Oh not the prison.
- 56:22Speaker 6: But she didn't actually throw it out, but she thought
- 56:26Speaker 6: she did.
- 56:26Speaker 4: That was her grievance where those look don't fight with me. Bish.
- 56:33Speaker 6: She hit Rose in the head with that People magazine
- 56:35Speaker 6: very hard.
- 56:36Speaker 4: I think every time she hits Rose.
- 56:40Speaker 6: It's getting more aggressive.
- 56:41Speaker 4: I feel, well, there's the one I don't know, the prison,
- 56:45Speaker 4: the episode that we did with the where the People Come.
- 56:50Speaker 4: I think it was the like the neighbor one. Yeah,
- 56:54Speaker 4: she hits her with something in that one, I think,
- 56:56Speaker 4: and she hits her so hard her hair stays messed up.
- 56:58Speaker 6: For like the rest of this.
- 57:00Speaker 4: Yeah. So I'm pretty sure she full hit.
- 57:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I was a guest for that one, and
- 57:07Speaker 3: that was when you guys introduced me. Those two performers
- 57:10Speaker 3: did not like each other.
- 57:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it was just that, like they could work together,
- 57:16Speaker 4: but they were never going to be friends in the
- 57:17Speaker 4: world world kind of. It wasn't like a Fred and
- 57:20Speaker 4: ethel Merch situation, but it wasn't comfortable either, right, all right,
- 57:25Speaker 4: well let's move on. Okay, what's the third reason that
- 57:30Speaker 4: Rose says Marguerite is having an absolutely positive impact on
- 57:35Speaker 4: the family or the group of girls.
- 57:44Speaker 3: I know the outside of it, but I don't remember
- 57:47Speaker 3: the name. We'll give her what she got, James. Yeah,
- 57:52Speaker 3: it's because a certain star returned to television.
- 57:56Speaker 4: I'll give you that. Oh yeah, since, Yeah, that's fine.
- 58:00Speaker 4: It's a sanity Duncan is back on TV?
- 58:04Speaker 1: Was that it? Yeah?
- 58:06Speaker 2: Well, okay, okay, what were the other two unless that's
- 58:10Speaker 2: a question.
- 58:12Speaker 4: Oh well, so no, it's not. So that's just the
- 58:14Speaker 4: third reason in the list. Her first reason was that
- 58:18Speaker 4: Dorothy's sleeping better, and her second reason was that Norman
- 58:21Speaker 4: is interested in Blanche. Okay, why is Marguerite late? The
- 58:28Speaker 4: first time that we see her be late? On the show.
- 58:31Speaker 6: Kristen, Yes, she had to pluck a hair from the
- 58:35Speaker 6: chin of a dwarf.
- 58:36Speaker 2: Yep, maybe it was the doctor guy that Rose dated
- 58:45Speaker 2: a little dude.
- 58:48Speaker 4: No one, there was a little person. Rose dates a
- 58:52Speaker 4: little person. Anyway, Blanche says she'll never be able to
- 58:57Speaker 4: open her blouse again. What fighting remark does Dorothy give her?
- 59:02Speaker 8: Oh?
- 59:03Speaker 7: Yeah, what does she say?
- 59:07Speaker 3: James? What a blight on humanity?
- 59:14Speaker 4: That's pretty close. Does anyone else have the exact words?
- 59:18Speaker 4: If not, I'm going to give James the point.
- 59:20Speaker 3: What'd you think it was, Gina?
- 59:22Speaker 2: I thought it was like it's the end of Western
- 59:25Speaker 2: society or something.
- 59:29Speaker 4: I'm going to give it to James because, uh, it's
- 59:32Speaker 4: it's a dark day in the history of mankind.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I give it to him.
- 59:37Speaker 3: Oh well, you at least knew.
- 59:40Speaker 4: That it was about dark and like Yuanity, So I
- 59:43Speaker 4: feel like that was the close. Okay, this next question
- 59:49Speaker 4: in biology only, as in, don't answer any more than that.
- 59:54Speaker 4: What was the situation with missus Gundersen?
- 59:57Speaker 6: Kristen, Yes, that were eighty percent ovaltine? Correct, mm hmm,
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: Remember to drink your ovaltine.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: That's the science. It's a chromey commercial.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Have you ever had ovaltine?
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: It's not good.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: That's thing.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Weird.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it tastes like chocolate medicine to me.
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: I just it was no good.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: It's got a weird like consistency.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: It's like sick milk.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: You ever just put milk in your mouth and the
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: hershey syrup like the kid from Step by Step.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: I think once because of Step by Step, Yeah, I would.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: I want to try that. I was like, this dumb,
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: not as a habit, but yes, I too did the step.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: This is the only time I want to copy something
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: on TV.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: It was some executive that was like, we're going to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: mess people up and we're going to make them shake
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: milk in their mouths.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Oh, It's like, yes, Cody, Why did I never try this?
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: The next question, when it came to World War One?
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: What did Missus Gunderson tell the mustard gas was Christine's Yes, Kristen.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: Eating too many hot dogs?
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: Yes, which is legitimate.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: I mean, it's not a lie. It's not exactly historically accurate. Yeah.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: No, And I love a good part joke, right.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: Who doesn't?
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: How can you not.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: All right when it that's oh sorry, Hi, I'm reading
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: the same question again. So my first time using a
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: different hot dogs?
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Hot Dogs? Can I have a point?
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: No, you'll have to bring in faster than Kristen to
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: get a point. We're gonna put a delay on her buzzer.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: This'll be like when Eddie Murphy is on ESNL. We're
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: gonna put like just a slight delay on hers. All right.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: What two things does Dorothy say? Our afrodisiacts?
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Oh, jans, yes, vodka and black pants?
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: All right, yep, Wait, Christen, did you just give that
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: to me?
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: No?
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: I was trying to find where it was in my notes,
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: and I didn't find it fast enough because like as
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: I was saying it, You're like, like, I found it,
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: it's too late.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: It's just to find it in her notes.
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: All right, because I had like three lines of notes
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: before that, but Aaron skipped over all that stuff.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: So how dare you Aaron?
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: Oh it's my fault. No, clearly, what drops on the
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: LINAI while the girls are talking? Oh my god, I
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: don't even know. Kristen said the first part of her
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: name first, James finished first, and I heard h at
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: the end, So Gina was definitely last. I think it
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: was Kristen because I heard the first It's hard.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard to tell that crow parachutist. Was he
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: a crow? I thought he was a two can.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: She called I wrote crow question mark, and then later,
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: just after that, they called him a crow.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: I was very distracted by his calves and those yellow tights.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: Right, here's the christ and got it right. But just
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: so we're clear, it's a man wearing a parachute and
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: a two can costume. But later Blanche calls him crow man,
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: and I put also accept crow man as answer in
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: my notes.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Yea on IMDb he's black crow.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: Yeah, but he was one thousand percent can can prosthetic
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: or like mask thingy. And then the actual plumage was
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: the all black of.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: The plumage all right, legs yeah.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: James was like, look at those caves.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Look up that man. Follow your nose, baby.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Whoa fruit loops? No, okay, I don't know that, really,
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: they don't know what I don't know. Look, I don't know.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: The next during the depression, Rose got a block of coal.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: What did she get every other year for her birthday?
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Gina? Yes, freshly carved wooden shoes.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: Yeah, yep, Gina on the board.
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: That's her second point. So she's already been on the port.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: Oh yeah, because you got one out of three on
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: the list. Really, all right, right, good job, and I'm
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: in last place as per usual. Where did Sophia say
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: she was brought up?
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Gina?
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Yes, in a cave.
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: Yeah, holy shit, Gina is smoking fire? All right? What
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: major television event does Sophia take credit for?
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: Kristin? Yes, Shelley long leaving cheers.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: Yep, that's uppity white woman as I didn't like that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: All right, last line, it's time. I would like to
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: know what the last line of the show was Kristin.
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: Yes, it was Sophia, and she said I shuddered to
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: think what was under that dress?
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Yep?
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Yes, indeed. All right, So I think we all know
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: who won, but can you give us the point totals please?
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: And last is Aaron with zero point? Well, I don't
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: know that we needed to highlight that about actual points.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: You're in Randolph for seconds.
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: Gina and James are tied with three.
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: And I won with ten.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Holy ship balls. We're going to congratulations.
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: Yeah, we're going to delay her on the next Come on, James,
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: you got to bring it. Yeah, what the hell I thought?
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: I did I thought I did. Okay, this time you
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: took great? Oh it is?
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, don't patronize him for free bringing bringing
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: her hard almost all the questions. I just buzzed in
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: faster so quick. Have gotten your first cocktails on me? Now, buddy?
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Oh you're getting cocktails patronizing me?
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: No, because well, because I'm the producer, like I'm the
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: umbrella producer, and I just I don't want you to
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: be sad that one of the yeah, you know what,
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: buy me a drink? The fuck you?
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: Oh my god, Now I know I'm a real friend
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: because you're shitting on me.
- 1:07:07Speaker 11: Oh thank you.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: I'm a martini and put a Bienna sausage and no,
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: I'm looking.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: No, just do a dirty martini, but only use the
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: Vienna sausage jelly instead of the olive juice it goes
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: to eat it.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Oh god, I just had this visceral like I mentally imagined,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: like one of those chunks going into your mouth.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: It would be like a well, you'd shake it so
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: the jelly would dissipate, but it would be like one
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: of those pimental loafs where you have like the olive
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: and the meat flavor. You're welcome.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: I wanna sausage Martini's.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: I have never wished more than this minute that this
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: was a video podcast, because listeners, the look on all
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: three of the other people in those rooms faces is
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: just so upset. But it's kind of how I felt
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: when they cancel eighteen ninety nine John Fink. Anyway, let's
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: let's move on.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Yeah, because he did that.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: It's like when you walk into someone else's fart cloud
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: and it's like they just had taco bell and it's
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: just nasty.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: I gave my first one step up, Loch its living alone?
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: Are you walking into your.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: Okay, Mark drops.
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: No, everybody likes their own cooking. I can't shrek.
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: I can't. That was fat basket.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: Oh well, yeah, well the same boys.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: Basically, I mean yeah, well, by that rationale, if you
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: just like closed your eyes and listened to so I
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: married an axe murderer, I guess head, you know shreks
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: in that man too, thoughts new.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Paper one and wrote it into the ground like.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: Jealous, so jealous. Excuse me?
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: I ordered a large coffee. Have you seen that movie, James? No,
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: so I married an X.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Murder Never I've seen scenes from that so I knew
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: that voice you were talking about.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: But right at the beginning, Yeah, he goes to that
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: coffee like an orange on a TUESD I ordered coffee
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: and it's one of those like giant like coffee.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: He dressed like a nark. I am a nark.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: Yeah, God, that movie is good. I'm gonna watch that
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: good movie.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: I'm little I supports So I married an X Murderer.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: Checked it out, kids dropped dead, gorgeous and so I
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: married an axe murder a an ax murder murder. Their
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: hills all die on? All right?
- 1:09:58Speaker 6: Should do trim?
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: Hello, please do don't need that.
- 1:10:03Speaker 8: Hey.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Paula Kelly was Marguerite.
- 1:10:06Speaker 7: She was on Night Court and in Soilent Green It's Peopall.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Deborah Rose was Midge.
- 1:10:16Speaker 11: Where the fuck was Midge?
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Who the fuck was Midge?
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: I don't know why did I write that down?
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Was Midge the prison?
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she wrote?
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: I forgot about her.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: I write these down so long?
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: Oh she is in Beverly Hills another movie movie. I
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: love Shelley Long was fucking Shelley Long.
- 1:10:39Speaker 10: Uh.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: Carl C. R.
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: Foglio was Black Crow. He was in He Was the
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: Thing in the nineteen ninety four Fantastic four.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: That piece of shit. Oh wow wow, we already went
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: over this.
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: So Sophia claims she got rid of Shelley Long In
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: real life people love that character.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: It was just a Shelley.
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: They mentioned Abe Vigoda. He was an actor in Fish,
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: he was in The Godfather. They mentioned Johnny Cash, the
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: American singer.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Yes, he wore plaid. I found a photo.
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: Donna Rice was an American activist from the Gary Hart
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: scandal that we've talked about in the past.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: Sandy Duncan was a comedian actress. People said she had
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: a fake eye. She did not actually have a fake eye.
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: No.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: Jean Shallatt had an afro. He was a film critic.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: They mentioned him.
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: Tuti was a character on Different Strokes and Facts of laugh.
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: I think they were just referencing like a token black character.
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: The Orange Bowl is in Miami. It's college football championship game.
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: It's normally played on New Year's Day. This aired in October,
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: so it was way off season. Gumby They said Sophia
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: is like one of my Gumby is a bendable character.
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: And then William Conrad. She said William Conrad was one
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: guy in a jacket and another guy in a pair
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: of pants.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: He was overweight, So I guess that's the joke. I
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: don't not really sure what that joke was.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: I didn't either or I didn't understand that either.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: I was like, he wasn't really tall.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: No oh, I just took it as something that, oh,
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: Rose is just saying something dumb. Again, it could be.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: It's like, what the fuck are you talking about?
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: Really, it didn't make any sense.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: That checks out so right into us if you know
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: about William Conress.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: Maybe it's because she was the villain.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Tell us about a janet.
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: But here's why Rose is a villain. First of all,
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: here's here's the like easy thing. I want to look
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: at you guys, I'm gonna look at the camera for this.
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: Woh.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Rose is the villain because of her stories. First of all,
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: we've started to like acknowledge that they're asking if they
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: have time to run or if they have to listen.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: So that's thing one, like she's so annoying. They're trying
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: to figure out the speed at which they run.
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: O H.
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: Then she's the first one to say that Dorothy always
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: looks like that and has those bags all the time
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: in her eyes.
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: Rude.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: I got yelled at for helping Aaron with that one.
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: Yeah. Then she says that Dorothy looks the meanest. Okay, rude.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: When they're about to fire Marguerite, she runs over and
- 1:13:31Speaker 4: hugs her and says, I'm so sorry so that it
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: looks like she had nothing to do with something she
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: was very much a part of. Fucking villainous. Then she
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: doesn't pay attention to the conversation where Marguerite is being
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: fired and goes, you're fired, fucking rude listening to the conversation,
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: and also, don't yell at someone, you're bitch. Next she
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: breaks the lounge chair on the Linai with her fat ass.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: She sits down and totally breaks the chair. And we're
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: gonna call that voodoo. That's rude, you broke, okay, rude.
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: Next she eats velveta straight out of the box. That's
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: that's criminal. That's actually not villainous. That's criminal. No one
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: does that. That is to add into things when you
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: need an easy melt cheese in the eighties, That is
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: not no.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: No, okay, I dated somebody who like their claim to
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: fame or like their thing that they thought was the
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: best dish they ever made was basically like a pan
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: of mac and cheese, except the only cheese they used
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: was velveta, like three pounds of alvida with stop.
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: My mom used to make just velveta mac and cheese
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: is the gross and then she put peas in it.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Oh, so it's like mac and cheese boba.
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: Melvina chofstable, which to me is like, that's not a cheese,
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: Like there's something wrong here.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: It's not real cheese.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: It's not in the refrigerator section.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: My mom used a little bit of velveta in her
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: mac and cheese when I was a kid, but she
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: also used like three other kinds of cheese and a
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: little bit of mustard powder to give it this like
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: extra flavor, and some diced onions for an additional flavor
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: and texture. So it came out really good. That was
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: just like a filler cheese to help like bulk it up.
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: But if it had just been velveta, or if someone
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: had been like, eat this out of the box, I
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: would have slapped them with velvita, with the brick of velveta,
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: all right, But then she okay, back to the villain,
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: which is roast. She blames all of her like regular
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: problems and the fact that she just broke that fucking
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: chair on poor Marguerite. But she says, this Dorothy's fault
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: for firing Margerite. No, none of us had to do
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: with that kid. Probably had heard one of your stories
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: and that's why they threw the fucking softball at your chest.
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: Back.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: And then it's bad enough. The Blanche says that she
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: gets dumped for a fat guy. But then Rose calls
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: that poor chubby woman a porker. Read the room so rude,
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: so rude. You just recently screwed your whole group of
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: friends and family out of one hundred thousand dollars because
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: of a pig, and now you're calling another woman a pig.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: Fuck you out and last, but never least. And this
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: is the worst. And maybe it's because I'm single and
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: I'm technically the Dorothy. But when she says that Dorothy
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: never attracts men, oh you cow anyway, that's it. She's
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: a villain.
- 1:16:52Speaker 11: Fuck her.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: Hey, all right, good job.
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: That was a solid case.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: That was a good one.
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: Thanks, Yeah, ten out of ten.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Would I would like to point out that when you
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: first started talking about Dorothy calling the other woman a
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: fat woman. You said that he broke up with her
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: because for a fat man.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she did say fat man.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: Did I say fat man?
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Fat woman was like midsip and I was like, oh,
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: that's even more insulting.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: I'm going to change teams because of you.
- 1:17:31Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: That's yep, yep, that's all I wrote. I got that
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: was fun? Anybody else have anything else?
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I when Marguerite, like, you know, initially I said, like,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: you know, the housekeepers not who they say they are,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: which you were correct.
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: I guess I was a little too on the nose
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: with that one.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Ish.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: I mean, she was who she said she was. She
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: just wasn't.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Yeah about you know, studying to be a lawyer. But
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: what I was so distracted by was that her eyes
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: rarely stopped moving. Did you notice that, like like looking around?
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: I was obsessed, So that was probably distracting, huh.
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: I was obsessed with her blue dress at the end.
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: It's all I could get, specifically the skirt actually because
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: it was like striped, but then there was a floral
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: pattern between the stripes of the like it was fast.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: I was fascinated anyway. She she did move around a
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: lot like physically. So maybe she just thought crazy eyes
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: fit into the character. I don't know.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe, Well, because it's an actor, your face is
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: the stage. Your eyes are roaming. That's kind of weirdoo
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: the scenery with your eyes.
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: It's all us that you didn't need words, that they
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: had faces and agreed had all of them, all the faces.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: Her face was the source.
