Pat McAfee’s new album The Diary of a Polarizing Figure isn’t the personal confessional its title suggests—it’s a genre-bending, AI-assisted experiment that sounds like a robot trying to mimic humanity. Born from Big Loud camp and producer ERNEST (who’s worked with Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll), the project started when ERNEST used AI tool Suno to turn McAfee’s phone-stored lyrics into demos, which were then fleshed out in the studio.
