- 1:07Speaker 5: Yeah, she's supposed to wear all white as part of
- 1:09Speaker 5: the Sensei Music Festival tradition.
- 1:11Speaker 2: So you got to black folk love went all white?

- 1:21Speaker 1: some white linen pants.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I'm coming for a white tea.
- 1:24Speaker 5: Come on, you always mess it up with a white tea.
- 1:28Speaker 5: You mess it up with a white tea because like
- 1:30Speaker 5: with the linen pants, put the linen shirt on, you'd
- 1:33Speaker 5: be one step.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Away and then you go white tea. Then you go
- 1:36Speaker 2: defo L. But okay, he got.
- 1:38Speaker 3: kN on the bottom, GTL on the top. I understand
- 1:42Speaker 3: what you're doing.
- 1:43Speaker 4: I get it.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Let me cook. It's one thing I'm not gonna do.
- 1:48Speaker 2: That's what it's take fashion advice from a copy.
- 1:51Speaker 4: He did have his little comedy jacket on yesterday.
- 1:54Speaker 3: He wanted to get he wanted to get fashion advice
- 1:56Speaker 3: because he had his little jacket on a new jacket today.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Hey, come on, well dressed. First, you got on jean
- 2:04Speaker 2: and swish.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I know what I got on. That's why I ain't
- 2:07Speaker 3: giving our fashion advice, souse. You know why I'm going
- 2:09Speaker 3: to the gym, and that's why I'm dressed like this.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Okay, thank you.
- 2:13Speaker 4: But when it comes to that all white outfit, watch
- 2:15Speaker 4: how I put it on.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Okay, all white for guys.
- 2:19Speaker 5: It's a little tougher though, really, because y'all could just
- 2:21Speaker 5: wear dress. You wear white dress. Y'all done white shoes.
- 2:24Speaker 5: It's all together because you're wearing all white. Guys, we
- 2:27Speaker 5: gotta figure out, like, Okay, we're gonna do the button
- 2:29Speaker 5: down shirt. We're gonna do the t how we're gonna
- 2:32Speaker 5: do it?
- 2:32Speaker 2: A vest? A vest is crazy? All white vest is wild. Okay,
- 2:38Speaker 2: sleepless all white shirt?
- 2:41Speaker 4: You love a little sleepless moment?
- 2:43Speaker 2: I fear you.
- 2:44Speaker 4: I love a little croptop. I get, I see, I see.
- 2:49Speaker 2: If we have bibble heads, yours would be sleeping.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Yes, yes, okay, man, let's go ahead jump into to
- 2:55Speaker 1: day's pod pod fam.
- 2:58Speaker 2: It's starting off very serious breaking.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It came down that Carmelo Anthony was found guilty of
- 3:04Speaker 1: fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf at a high school track met
- 3:07Speaker 1: and sentenced to thirty five years in prison.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Now I have lightly covered this case and I.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Don't really know, you know, it's you know, I guess
- 3:17Speaker 1: they feel like he got an unfair sentencing in thirty
- 3:22Speaker 1: five years because was it he like seventeen.
- 3:24Speaker 2: When this happened.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Yeah, the incident happened when he was seventeen, he was
- 3:27Speaker 5: a miner, got tried as an adult. It's really been
- 3:31Speaker 5: an uproar because the jury that they picked was all white.
- 3:35Speaker 5: They dismissed black jurors said they were teachers and they
- 3:38Speaker 5: would be biased, so they had an all white jury.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Black kid did stab a white kid. We did expect
- 3:46Speaker 5: him to have some type of punishment. I don't think
- 3:47Speaker 5: people thought he was gonna walk away clean. But then
- 3:50Speaker 5: to charge him with murder as an adult, Murder means
- 3:53Speaker 5: that you have the intent to kill, like you came
- 3:55Speaker 5: with the intent to kill. People thought it should have
- 3:58Speaker 5: been a lesser charge of it manslaughter where I accidentally killed,
- 4:03Speaker 5: but that wasn't that wasn't my intent. So that's what's
- 4:06Speaker 5: got people up in arms and get thirty five years
- 4:09Speaker 5: is a crazy number.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a crazy number. Okay, Ryan would like us
- 4:19Speaker 1: displain the story.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Yeah, he was over there talking to me.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I can't he not really.
- 4:25Speaker 4: You know how normal people you could read their lips,
- 4:27Speaker 4: you can't really read.
- 4:31Speaker 1: He'd be like, but you can't hear it, though, But
- 4:38Speaker 1: you can't hear nothing. But you hear nothing, Yeah, like
- 4:42Speaker 1: you don't.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I wish.
- 4:43Speaker 3: I'm not gonna impressonate himause I don't want to fight today.
- 4:45Speaker 3: But it's crazy anyway.
- 4:47Speaker 5: I really just be like, explain the storm, and then
- 4:49Speaker 5: I be like, okay, okay, I hear you go.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Back like god, dang it, Like I don't know what
- 4:58Speaker 2: that means. You spend more time looking like, let's be home.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Oh well, we'll take it.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I don't mean to make a light of this situation
- 5:09Speaker 3: at all, because it's none of this is funny. But
- 5:11Speaker 3: apparently what I've heard that had happened was they were
- 5:14Speaker 3: at a track meet. Carmelo came over to the opposing
- 5:19Speaker 3: sides tent. He wasn't even a part of the school,
- 5:22Speaker 3: but it was raining, so he actually and got permission
- 5:24Speaker 3: from one of the coaches to stand under a specific tent.
- 5:27Speaker 3: While under that tent, he was approached by other students
- 5:30Speaker 3: that were of the school and standing there as well,
- 5:33Speaker 3: and they told him to leave. He's he you know,
- 5:35Speaker 3: they had words back and forth, exchange and words, and
- 5:38Speaker 3: they ended up in a fight. And from you know,
- 5:42Speaker 3: I'm hearing conflicting stories, and I know that there's video
- 5:44Speaker 3: footage that can probably back up what actually happened, but
- 5:47Speaker 3: it was that, you know, they were in a fight
- 5:49Speaker 3: and he was getting jumped, is what I've heard. Now
- 5:51Speaker 3: there are conflicting stories saying that he wasn't. But however,
- 5:55Speaker 3: you look at the weight of the the teen who
- 5:58Speaker 3: unfortunately lost his life versus car there is a size
- 6:01Speaker 3: difference there. And while they were in a scuff or
- 6:04Speaker 3: in a fight, Carmelo had a knife or a weapon
- 6:08Speaker 3: and stabbed him. Unfortunately, the kid lost his life and
- 6:13Speaker 3: Carmelo was arrested. So that's where it kind of stemmed from.
- 6:16Speaker 3: And there's just been a lot of discrepancies about how
- 6:18Speaker 3: the case has been handled since that incident took place,
- 6:22Speaker 3: even just from conflicting stories from you know, one group
- 6:25Speaker 3: of kids saying this is how it happened teachers and
- 6:28Speaker 3: staff seeing saying something else, and then for him to
- 6:31Speaker 3: be tried as an adult only being seventeen years old,
- 6:34Speaker 3: have no body on the jury that has anything in
- 6:37Speaker 3: common with him. You are supposed to be tried on
- 6:38Speaker 3: a jury of your peers. And then you know, he
- 6:42Speaker 3: didn't get a chance to testify in the courtroom the case.
- 6:45Speaker 3: The case was not televised, but you know, they quickly
- 6:49Speaker 3: put up his mugshot after he.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Was taken in.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Things of that, you know, just seemed like we're not
- 6:55Speaker 3: fair obviously in the court of justice. So you know,
- 6:59Speaker 3: a lot of people are outraged about the outcome of
- 7:01Speaker 3: this kid being charged for thirty something years thirty five
- 7:04Speaker 3: years in prison. And then I also saw something online
- 7:08Speaker 3: and I don't know if this was true or not,
- 7:10Speaker 3: that the judge presiding over the case was actually friends
- 7:14Speaker 3: with the deceased child's father, So that seemed like that
- 7:17Speaker 3: would have been something crazy as well, like there was
- 7:19Speaker 3: a picture allegedly of him at a party together. So
- 7:22Speaker 3: it just seems like the trial was flawed, and I
- 7:25Speaker 3: think that's why people are so upset. Obviously, this is
- 7:29Speaker 3: an unfortunate situation for all parties involved. I don't care
- 7:32Speaker 3: what races of the kid. You don't want to see
- 7:34Speaker 3: any kid lose their life. Oh and attract me over
- 7:37Speaker 3: a fight. You get in fights. You know, people have
- 7:39Speaker 3: arguments and things like that as teenagers. It's unfortunate all
- 7:42Speaker 3: the way around. But I think what people are outraged
- 7:45Speaker 3: about is how the case has been handled.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yes, and on top of that, the way the case
- 7:50Speaker 2: is handled.
- 7:51Speaker 5: And it seems like when black people get murdered and
- 7:54Speaker 5: they and other people claim self defense, their self defense
- 7:58Speaker 5: gets respected and they either walk free or a lighter sentence,
- 8:03Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying. With in this case, he
- 8:05Speaker 5: claimed self defense and got charged with murder and the
- 8:09Speaker 5: book thrown at him. So you know, it's a lot,
- 8:12Speaker 5: it's a lot of layers to it. But hopefully this
- 8:15Speaker 5: family can appeal and get some type of fair trial.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Well yeah, like I said, man jury of your peers.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Kiki said that that's just it. It's not a fair trial.
- 8:28Speaker 2: If you don't have a jury of your peers.
- 8:30Speaker 1: It's not a fair trial. So they gotta retry, They
- 8:33Speaker 1: got to get an appeal. This is unfair. It is unfair.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Is it wrong?
- 8:37Speaker 1: With Carmelo Anthony did? Yes, we definitely agree that is wrong.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, we are all
- 8:46Speaker 1: entitled to the same due process and he should have
- 8:49Speaker 1: had a jury as peers, and we see how it
- 8:51Speaker 1: goes from there.
- 8:51Speaker 3: And I want to listen to the deceased child by
- 8:54Speaker 3: His name was just Austin Metcalf. I don't want to
- 8:57Speaker 3: just you know, negate his name exactly. Know he deserves
- 9:00Speaker 3: to be mentioned as well. It's just it's unfortunate all
- 9:03Speaker 3: the way around. But this case, in the way it
- 9:05Speaker 3: was tried, just doesn't seem right.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Crazy work, all right.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Diddy has been hit with a new lawsuit by a
- 9:12Speaker 1: former male child actor who claims sexual assault as a miner.
- 9:16Speaker 1: He claims did he sexual assaulted him at a party
- 9:19Speaker 1: when he was a miner under the guise of helping
- 9:22Speaker 1: his acting career back in two thousand and seven.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yeah. These will continue to come out though another one
- 9:30Speaker 2: from twenty years ago.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, another twenty years. These are going to continue
- 9:35Speaker 1: to happen now. I don't know if they've happened or not,
- 9:38Speaker 1: but these are going to keep happening to Diddy for
- 9:40Speaker 1: probably a while.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Everybody, And did he done met got a case?
- 9:44Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 9:44Speaker 3: According to Google. Diddy is facing over one hundred civil
- 9:48Speaker 3: lawsuits alleging sexual assault.
- 9:51Speaker 5: One hundred, so they open and you gotta you gotta
- 9:56Speaker 5: figure out which ones are you know, which ones are
- 9:58Speaker 5: true and which ones a money? And I don't know
- 10:01Speaker 5: how you decide, you know what I'm saying when it's
- 10:03Speaker 5: this many, because everybody ain't telling true out one hundred people.
- 10:07Speaker 5: Everybody a'telling you true, and everybody ain't lying either out
- 10:11Speaker 5: of a hundred, So how do you decide?
- 10:14Speaker 2: You know what's real and what's not?
- 10:16Speaker 5: So especially for us who don't have no insight, it's
- 10:21Speaker 5: kind of hard. Like all we do is see another case,
- 10:24Speaker 5: another victim, another case, another victim, and it's from twenty
- 10:27Speaker 5: years ago, and it's hard for me to tell you
- 10:29Speaker 5: whether it happened or not.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Because we I mean it. There's a couple of things
- 10:35Speaker 1: with that. One you embarrassed. Two, you don't know how
- 10:40Speaker 1: to take it. You're like, damn, this ditty is a
- 10:42Speaker 1: super powerful person. Especially in seven Diddy is a super
- 10:46Speaker 1: powerful person. I don't even have the money to fight
- 10:48Speaker 1: a person like Diddy. So a lot of people are
- 10:51Speaker 1: coming out. I think they're coming out. If or if not,
- 10:55Speaker 1: it didn't happen or not, but they're like they feel
- 10:57Speaker 1: more comfortable trying to go after what seems to be
- 11:02Speaker 1: justice or money, whatever the case may be.
- 11:04Speaker 2: I agree with that.
- 11:05Speaker 5: If it's some people knew what they was doing for
- 11:08Speaker 5: the opportunity to be around Diddy as well, that's fact.
- 11:11Speaker 5: So I believe that everybody's not a victim. I'm not sure.
- 11:15Speaker 5: I don't know in this case, I'm not. I can't say,
- 11:17Speaker 5: but everybody's not a victim. Some people was like, did
- 11:19Speaker 5: you want me.
- 11:19Speaker 2: To do that?
- 11:20Speaker 5: He asked them, and they was with it because of
- 11:22Speaker 5: what it could possibly do for their life in their
- 11:24Speaker 5: career too.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Because we've seen it with Daphney Joy. Did she testify?
- 11:29Speaker 2: She did? She did, and what she said like a
- 11:33Speaker 2: bunch of nothing. I don't really recall what she said.
- 11:36Speaker 4: I know she got up there.
- 11:37Speaker 5: I ain't never seen. Let me tell you something, Ki
- 11:40Speaker 5: Ki ain't stand like she's so pro woman, but she
- 11:45Speaker 5: do not mess with Daphne Joy.
- 11:47Speaker 2: No, I ain't saying nothing.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Usually you find the little sliver of something you can
- 11:53Speaker 5: get on her side.
- 11:53Speaker 2: You ain't got on Daphney Joy's side. Once.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I love women, I'm a woman. I'm always gonna ride
- 11:59Speaker 3: for women. I have a hard time riding for the holes.
- 12:02Speaker 3: I have a hard time.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I never been one.
- 12:04Speaker 3: I don't really relate to him, so it's like a lot.
- 12:07Speaker 3: It takes a lot for me to protect the hole.
- 12:09Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Like, especially if you're not
- 12:12Speaker 3: an honest I respect honest holes. Say this is what
- 12:16Speaker 3: I am, and this is what I do. You know
- 12:17Speaker 3: what I'm saying, Get your money. But it's the holes
- 12:21Speaker 3: that be lying and teetering on the line, and you know,
- 12:23Speaker 3: one day you're a victim, one day you're getting slotted out.
- 12:26Speaker 3: I don't I don't have a hard time with that,
- 12:28Speaker 3: so you won't catch me. Got too much to say
- 12:30Speaker 3: that I'm as Daphanie. Okay, yeah, I get it though.
- 12:33Speaker 3: That makes sense, all right.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Well, Diamond Brown is letting up, she shared, not letting up?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Who's Who's letting Who's Diamond Brown? Look, this is what
- 12:45Speaker 1: Ryan wrote, is letting up? Okay, bright anchor man, brother,
- 12:52Speaker 1: Diamond Brown is not letting up. She shared the last
- 12:54Speaker 1: messages from Chris Brown to shut down the bitter accusations,
- 12:58Speaker 1: calling him an I G dad.
- 13:01Speaker 4: That's a that's a terrible insult.
- 13:04Speaker 3: I feel like, if you know, I would hate for
- 13:06Speaker 3: someone to call me an I G dad, But yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 13:12Speaker 2: To me, talk to us, bro, it's gonna trigger me.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Come on, man, talk to him.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Yeah, let me put my seat on, but take us there.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Brother.
- 13:29Speaker 1: To me, Bro, it's that. Do you have a kid
- 13:34Speaker 1: with Chris Brown? And I understand that that you would
- 13:40Speaker 1: want Chris Brown to be in the house every day,
- 13:44Speaker 1: coming to do all the things that normal dads do.
- 13:47Speaker 1: You got a baby with the number one pop star
- 13:51Speaker 1: in the effing world, Bro, he is not going to
- 13:55Speaker 1: be like the dad has got a nine to five.
- 13:58Speaker 1: He's just not he on world tours. I do I
- 14:02Speaker 1: think Chris Brown is a person that wants his kid
- 14:04Speaker 1: on tour with him. Probably not at some stops maybe,
- 14:09Speaker 1: but the entire tour. No, it's got to be tough
- 14:14Speaker 1: to be a to be a father and that level
- 14:17Speaker 1: of artists, and I just think it's not fair when
- 14:20Speaker 1: people try to hold those type of people to the
- 14:26Speaker 1: regular constructs of being that.
- 14:29Speaker 2: It's all I'm saying.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm not mad at that take though, because I've got
- 14:33Speaker 1: I got I got accused of it before because I
- 14:36Speaker 1: had I had to. You don't do nothing but sleep.
- 14:39Speaker 1: When the kids, when they come over, it's hard for
- 14:41Speaker 1: me to go. I had to be in the cub.
- 14:43Speaker 1: The money that you're getting, I had to get from
- 14:45Speaker 1: the cub to give to you. I had to, like,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you know, I gotta keep creating. We gotta get our
- 14:51Speaker 1: hand be these engines to create money so you when
- 14:54Speaker 1: you need it, it's good. So my dadding is a
- 14:58Speaker 1: little different then what another dad will be able to do.
- 15:02Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. All I'm gonna say this.
- 15:10Speaker 5: All I'm gonna say is this, Diamond and Chris, we're
- 15:14Speaker 5: in a great relationship before the kids, and when the
- 15:20Speaker 5: kid came you messed up. I thought about this yesterday.
- 15:25Speaker 5: I was on the way home and I said, Man,
- 15:28Speaker 5: why do I feel this way? Or like, why is
- 15:31Speaker 5: it that it doesn't work right? Like I told you yesterday,
- 15:34Speaker 5: you have to pick one. You have to pick whether
- 15:36Speaker 5: you're gonna have a happy relationship or you're gonna have kids,
- 15:38Speaker 5: pick your happiness.
- 15:39Speaker 2: You just gotta pick one.
- 15:40Speaker 5: But the reason you don't have a happy relationship and
- 15:43Speaker 5: kids is because parenting is not fun. And I know
- 15:48Speaker 5: you have good moments, you love your kids, but it
- 15:51Speaker 5: is not a fun thing. What's something that every couple
- 15:55Speaker 5: loves to do? Every couple, we like to eat, go
- 15:58Speaker 5: out to eat, and we like to vacation. No matter
- 16:00Speaker 5: who you are, you like to eat and you like
- 16:02Speaker 5: to go on vacation. That's fun for a couple. That's
- 16:04Speaker 5: healthy for a couple. But when you have kids, going
- 16:07Speaker 5: out to eat with them ain't fun. That's just parenting
- 16:12Speaker 5: outside ba no they are. That's parenting again. You're still parenting.
- 16:19Speaker 5: So all I'm gonna say is, please whatever you want.
- 16:22Speaker 5: When you had the baby, Diamond, you should have known
- 16:25Speaker 5: that this was gonna it was gonna be a but.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Okay, with.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Was going.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I was riding with you, but then I had to
- 16:33Speaker 3: get out the car because I know what. I liked
- 16:35Speaker 3: you with the children and spending time with my nephews.
- 16:40Speaker 3: But even if I had a kid, if I had
- 16:41Speaker 3: a kid, I would enjoy that time.
- 16:44Speaker 4: So extreme and crazy.
- 16:50Speaker 2: With my nieces to give them back.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Excuses about being Instagram that Instagram listen. I saw some
- 16:57Speaker 3: text messages that Diamond allegedly put up about out between
- 17:00Speaker 3: her and Chris Brown. She made it very clear and
- 17:03Speaker 3: text messages, I want to co parent. I don't want
- 17:05Speaker 3: to be with you. I don't want to know issues
- 17:07Speaker 3: with you. Please stop bothering me. Chris Brown responded and
- 17:10Speaker 3: was like, you're turning me on. So I don't know
- 17:15Speaker 3: if Damon is the problem here, you know what I'm saying.
- 17:18Speaker 3: And I love Chris down. Yeah, allegedly this is what
- 17:22Speaker 3: I saw on the internet. So I'm just like, no,
- 17:25Speaker 3: I might go check out story right now, just see
- 17:27Speaker 3: if it's still there. But I'm just like, I don't
- 17:30Speaker 3: know who's a problem, but it's looking like Chris might
- 17:32Speaker 3: be the problem here, So listen, I don't you know.
- 17:36Speaker 4: It's hard.
- 17:37Speaker 3: It's one thing to have a child by have a
- 17:38Speaker 3: successful man and have to understand his career and all
- 17:40Speaker 3: the things that he's being pulled too. But it's also
- 17:43Speaker 3: one thing to have a child with a very toxic, successful,
- 17:48Speaker 3: popular man. That's another struggle that a lot of these
- 17:50Speaker 3: women go through and face. And yeah, so I'm not
- 17:53Speaker 3: gonna just say she's the problem right here, because.
- 17:55Speaker 2: I don't know kid is, But go ahead, the kid
- 17:58Speaker 2: is not.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Children have to be born so that we can all
- 18:01Speaker 3: be here and we are not problems.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Okay, we are problems.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Well that may be true. Sometimes if you make them
- 18:11Speaker 1: with somebody that you love. Zach doesn't matter and you
- 18:15Speaker 1: want to be with that kids. Kids made out of
- 18:18Speaker 1: lust might be a problem. It's made out of love,
- 18:22Speaker 1: not the problem.
- 18:23Speaker 2: All right, I'm gonna let y'all have it. But does
- 18:26Speaker 2: that support me? No?
- 18:28Speaker 4: No, that's your status having kids every day.
- 18:31Speaker 5: And they breaking up every time, they breaking up the children.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Do you think more people? Yes, they're happy with their children. Now,
- 18:39Speaker 5: I say you pick one. Everybody I know happy married,
- 18:42Speaker 5: They on their second third wife.
- 18:44Speaker 3: And that's your and that's the problem. Maybe you need
- 18:46Speaker 3: to look around you and change or you around.
- 18:48Speaker 4: That's what you need to get around.
- 18:50Speaker 3: That's what you need to get away from tone and
- 18:52Speaker 3: get around some some people, some healthy people.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I've been around very much. Healthy people take a shot
- 18:58Speaker 2: because they.
- 19:00Speaker 4: They third or four minutes.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I'm not even on one marriage yet.
- 19:03Speaker 3: You're right about that. But we ain't gonna captain baby mamas.
- 19:06Speaker 2: But how many baby mamas you need to equal?
- 19:12Speaker 4: Because I think he did about it.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I think three babies mamas equal one?
- 19:20Speaker 4: Okay, I think it's qualified.
- 19:22Speaker 6: Yeah, Oh hell, all right, let's keep a moving man.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I'm not gonna let y'all play with me.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Bro uh, Tianna Taylor Center and see the Icon of
- 19:38Speaker 1: the Year at the b E T Awards.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, a great year.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Absolutely worked off. Yeah, she's been working about off for
- 19:48Speaker 3: years now in the industry. So any anything that comes away,
- 19:51Speaker 3: she deserves it.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Absolutely shout out. We'll see it the BET Awards. Hopefully
- 19:56Speaker 2: we can talk to her, Yeah for sure.
- 19:58Speaker 1: All right, ray here, apologize it's the Brandy during a
- 20:01Speaker 1: visit to her Hollywood take a shot walk a Fame star.
- 20:05Speaker 2: All right, let's take a listen to what gray J said,
- 20:09Speaker 2: E Rocker. This is my first time seeing it in
- 20:12Speaker 2: real time. Walk of Fame Hollywood Boulevard. Wow.
- 20:16Speaker 7: I just want to let you know I'm so proud
- 20:18Speaker 7: of you who worked so hard to achieve so many
- 20:22Speaker 7: accolades and desert allis, all the awards, all the flowers,
- 20:27Speaker 7: all the love, all the support. Sorry for a lot
- 20:31Speaker 7: of stuff I'll be doing, but I love you and
- 20:34Speaker 7: I'm always here for you. I wasn't able to celebrate
- 20:37Speaker 7: with you on that day, but I'm celebrating with you now.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Mmm. Come on, man, that was sincere. That was heartfelt.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Ray J? Why are you all? Ray J loves his
- 20:50Speaker 2: sister bro I agree. Why do you not. I don't
- 20:54Speaker 2: understand how you have a problem with that.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Ray J loves his sister. I believe that one hundred percent.
- 20:59Speaker 5: I think that Brandy loves ray J one hundred percent.
- 21:01Speaker 5: I think that family loves each other. But if your
- 21:04Speaker 5: if my issue with you is that you continue to
- 21:06Speaker 5: publicly embarrass me, why do you continue to publicly embarrass me?
- 21:11Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 21:12Speaker 5: And that's what I mean by like, you have to
- 21:13Speaker 5: set boundaries with people. You can love somebody and still
- 21:16Speaker 5: not respect them, And what ray J is not doing
- 21:19Speaker 5: is respecting his sister's wishes. He could have went saw
- 21:22Speaker 5: that star and sent that same video to Brandy personally,
- 21:27Speaker 5: but no, we're sitting here talking about it on the podcast,
- 21:30Speaker 5: and that's the problem. She's like, stop embarrassing me, Stop
- 21:33Speaker 5: bringing me up publicly, stop doing all of this. He
- 21:36Speaker 5: could have sent that same video. Hey sorry, I couldn't
- 21:39Speaker 5: make the thing, but I'm looking at it right now,
- 21:41Speaker 5: b Im really really proud of you, and he could,
- 21:44Speaker 5: but even he could have found a way to get
- 21:46Speaker 5: her the video. But you continue to embarrass her publicly,
- 21:49Speaker 5: and that's what I mean you Like, That's where I'm like,
- 21:52Speaker 5: come on, bro, you're not respecting.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Her though I'm with you on that one. You're ridiculous. No,
- 21:59Speaker 2: if I can quit itmbarrassing me, they keep embarrassing your
- 22:01Speaker 2: only child, who only child? I am?
- 22:04Speaker 5: Oh, but because I don't know boundaries, obviously, because I'm
- 22:07Speaker 5: the only child.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Exactly, you don't understand the love between a brother and
- 22:11Speaker 1: a sister.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Well, somebody with a brother and sister. Keep speaking, I
- 22:14Speaker 2: got all the brothers and the sister, so.
- 22:16Speaker 1: You would you would feel a way if you say,
- 22:19Speaker 1: you and your brother got into it, and y'all and y'all,
- 22:22Speaker 1: he keeps messing up and he sends you a heart
- 22:26Speaker 1: a heartfelt message.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Couldn't get that out over Instagram or Facebook.
- 22:31Speaker 3: So exactly to what Zach said, you keep publicly embarrassing me.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Stop publicly embarrassing me. So now just it just died
- 22:40Speaker 3: down right, and we ain't been talking about ray J
- 22:42Speaker 3: for a couple of episodes now because he needs some attention.
- 22:45Speaker 3: You get on the internet addressing Brandy again. Stop publicly
- 22:49Speaker 3: embarrassing me. So I one hundred percent agree with Zach
- 22:53Speaker 3: on that.
- 22:54Speaker 2: No.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Absolutely, if i'm your I'm your sister, you can call me,
- 22:59Speaker 3: come by the house, send it through your knee lot.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Send it through your niece, send it through Mamy and Daddy.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Send it.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I don't put it in a mail, however, email me.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Why are we publicly again on the internet?
- 23:11Speaker 2: I hate it?
- 23:11Speaker 1: And now on the podcast, I hate it when you
- 23:13Speaker 1: make all he's doing is over here is making faces
- 23:15Speaker 1: at me.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Is you be on the side I hate he over there?
- 23:19Speaker 3: Ye?
- 23:20Speaker 2: You watching her? You watching him continue to do the
- 23:23Speaker 2: same thing. Yep. I just to me, I'm on the
- 23:25Speaker 2: other side of it. I'm on the other side of it.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I respect a brother that is trying to make things
- 23:31Speaker 1: right with his sister, that he is continually messed up publicly.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Can I mess up with you publicly? Why can't I,
- 23:38Speaker 1: in my mind, do something publicly to make it right?
- 23:42Speaker 5: Because if this was the first attempt, maybe, But we've
- 23:45Speaker 5: been to Brandy been saying, hey, you doing too much,
- 23:47Speaker 5: and you continue to do it.
- 23:48Speaker 2: It's not it's not for me anymore. It's more self
- 23:51Speaker 2: serving for you, it really is.
- 23:53Speaker 3: It's very self serving because now he's being talked about again.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Meanwhile Brandy is out here getting honored doing tour she
- 23:59Speaker 3: got and special things going on, and it's always overshadowed by.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Ray J.
- 24:06Speaker 5: And ray J other times, you might be right, you know,
- 24:08Speaker 5: when he addresses when he who did he address them
- 24:11Speaker 5: podcasts hosts and said something about her and peoples defending
- 24:14Speaker 5: her in public because the offense happened in public, this
- 24:16Speaker 5: could have been this ain't have to be in public
- 24:18Speaker 5: at all, exactly.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Okay, I disagree, All right, let's get to it, man.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Uh just dumb or nah?
- 24:29Speaker 1: Rick Ross alleged he spent forty four hundred dollars on
- 24:32Speaker 1: the Louis vouton pool floats.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Is that dumb or no? I don't believe it's real.
- 24:39Speaker 2: They gave that time.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I don't believe that's I don't even think they gave
- 24:41Speaker 3: it to him. They sell them on the side of
- 24:43Speaker 3: the expressway as a swamp. We can all get one
- 24:46Speaker 3: of them. I don't believe that suffers real. I don't
- 24:49Speaker 3: know where y'all gonna stop believing these rappers spending money
- 24:52Speaker 3: like this. I don't believe it at all.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Show me a receipt, because I don't believe it.
- 24:58Speaker 2: He gonna say he spent it there for real? I
- 25:00Speaker 2: spent forty four hundred. I don't care.
- 25:02Speaker 1: That's corny, Yeah, school a forty four hundred dollars to Ross,
- 25:15Speaker 1: it's corny.
- 25:15Speaker 4: It's four thousand dollars. That's nothing.
- 25:17Speaker 2: That's nothing.
- 25:18Speaker 5: You know why I say nothing to Hell But I'm
- 25:20Speaker 5: not saying it's something to him. But I'm telling you
- 25:22Speaker 5: it's corny because if I go to Ross House and
- 25:25Speaker 5: he got him in the pool, you're just rich. If
- 25:29Speaker 5: I go to your if you post it on your Instagram,
- 25:31Speaker 5: it's corny. That's the difference. Everybody doing this stuff for attention.
- 25:36Speaker 5: You want a stunt, That's what makes it corny. If
- 25:38Speaker 5: I go to Beyonce and jay Z House and they
- 25:40Speaker 5: got them floating around, you expect it. They didn't say
- 25:43Speaker 5: nothing about it. It wasn't special, it wasn't nothing. It's like
- 25:45Speaker 5: you with shoes, Tom. You get a lot of shoes.
- 25:48Speaker 5: You're a shoe head. You've been buying shoes a long time.
- 25:51Speaker 5: The only ones you post is the ones that may
- 25:53Speaker 5: be given to you or you're doing sponsorship type stuff.
- 25:56Speaker 5: You're not sitting here, Oh got a new pad every
- 25:59Speaker 5: time you get a because that lets me know that
- 26:00Speaker 5: you don't get shoes like that.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I was doing that at first because I was really
- 26:04Speaker 2: happy when I got some money.
- 26:05Speaker 5: That's because she was happy what I got some money exactly.
- 26:09Speaker 5: But when it becomes your norm, it's it's not that
- 26:13Speaker 5: no more. Maybe the shoot thing was a bad example.
- 26:15Speaker 4: I remember the shoot thing, that's why.
- 26:18Speaker 2: But the first and then next thing.
- 26:19Speaker 1: You know, she's always talking about you, act like you
- 26:22Speaker 1: ain't never been in a room before.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Because I post my room.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I joy lets me how my joy? You made me
- 26:28Speaker 1: insecure about posting my room? Really, but my shorts in
- 26:33Speaker 1: my jersey.
- 26:33Speaker 2: The room to us hilarious.
- 26:35Speaker 5: Here you go, y'all go, yes, sir Houston, we have
- 26:41Speaker 5: a problem.
- 26:44Speaker 2: We in there. Look at the view, not getting out there,
- 26:47Speaker 2: scared of heights. But yeah, this is nice. I be
- 26:53Speaker 2: out in the minute.
- 26:55Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 26:56Speaker 3: I love your contents, so I don't want I don't
- 26:59Speaker 3: ever say to make you stop.
- 27:01Speaker 4: I want you to.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Keep doing it. That's what makes you great. Don't stop.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Don't listen to me, don't listen to me.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm a hater, but yeah, I mean, I guess I
- 27:16Speaker 1: do get what you said, though, Zach showing it that
- 27:19Speaker 1: louis But the better play is pulling up to the
- 27:22Speaker 1: pool and it's there.
- 27:23Speaker 2: And it's there, and it's there.
- 27:25Speaker 1: You're like you're a boss. You're a boss, you know
- 27:27Speaker 1: what I mean. But you know, things might be slow
- 27:31Speaker 1: around the house. You know what I'm saying, Things might
- 27:35Speaker 1: be a little slow.
- 27:36Speaker 2: He might be a little slow. He gotta throw out
- 27:38Speaker 2: the little corn, little you know, a little bread.
- 27:41Speaker 5: You look lonely, Ross. I hate to say it. Every
- 27:45Speaker 5: time you in that pool. Ain't nobody with you? You know,
- 27:47Speaker 5: hazen the pool by yourself, showing your acres and your
- 27:51Speaker 5: fool You ain't got no friends.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Get some people. Where are the people I think he got?
- 28:00Speaker 1: And look at this god a cut my grass.
- 28:02Speaker 5: Every time he show his house, it's always a whole
- 28:04Speaker 5: bunch of emptiness. If you lonely, say that, that's what
- 28:08Speaker 5: it looked like. You look lonely in the house.
- 28:10Speaker 4: But he always go on, Rick Ross, it didn't be
- 28:13Speaker 4: smiling in his face.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Rick be the BT Awards pie fam if this fulish
- 28:17Speaker 1: smiles that Rick Ross's face.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Rick Ross is a nice guy. In interviews, how do
- 28:24Speaker 2: you go from that to that?
- 28:25Speaker 5: Because you can do corny stuff that I see on
- 28:27Speaker 5: the internet when I talk about you on the internet,
- 28:28Speaker 5: that is my unfiltered opinion in what you're doing right now.
- 28:31Speaker 5: When I see you in person. That's that's this interaction?
- 28:35Speaker 5: What you want me to do? Get mad at him
- 28:37Speaker 5: because he'd be acting lonely on the internet. You know,
- 28:40Speaker 5: I ain't talking to him because I'm mad. What am
- 28:42Speaker 5: I mad about?
- 28:43Speaker 2: I don't care that much.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Ross is actually one of the better interviews you're gonna
- 28:48Speaker 1: ever get anybody.
- 28:48Speaker 2: He's very entertaining, entertaining, but he's by himself a lot.
- 28:51Speaker 4: And he's always how to be a star.
- 28:53Speaker 2: He's great. Shout out to Ross. All right, how can
- 28:57Speaker 2: you tell someone is not into you?
- 29:02Speaker 4: How can you tell?
- 29:03Speaker 2: It's easy?
- 29:03Speaker 5: She don't respond, She don't act interested women. Let me
- 29:07Speaker 5: tell you something about women. They gonna you know if
- 29:10Speaker 5: they like you. You know, you don't have to figure
- 29:14Speaker 5: it out. I hate when these guys get on here.
- 29:15Speaker 5: But I just can't get the girl. I don't know
- 29:17Speaker 5: what tick?
- 29:18Speaker 2: What is it?
- 29:18Speaker 5: What is she don't like you? She don't like you?
- 29:21Speaker 5: Let me tell you something. You've been on about three
- 29:23Speaker 5: dates with her and she ain't off it up, no
- 29:28Speaker 5: physical anything. She probably don't like you. She doesn't like you.
- 29:33Speaker 5: Y'all ain't kissed, y'all, ain't hugged, y'all ain't getting It's
- 29:37Speaker 5: nothing she ain't talked about.
- 29:39Speaker 2: She doesn't. She just doesn't find you in that way.
- 29:42Speaker 2: She tried to give you a chance. It didn't work,
- 29:44Speaker 2: and she don't like you. That's okay if you got.
- 29:46Speaker 1: To pay for a woman's time, the aka tricking, if
- 29:49Speaker 1: you got it. She don't like you, trust me, she
- 29:51Speaker 1: don't like you. Ain't no dude, does she like gonna
- 29:55Speaker 1: have the trick? You ain't never heard about Chris Brown
- 29:58Speaker 1: ever tricking and buying car ours by buying a whole
- 30:01Speaker 1: bunch of stuff.
- 30:02Speaker 2: You know why? Because all the girls like him. You
- 30:05Speaker 2: heard about it.
- 30:06Speaker 5: He can take That's something bout. They don't want to
- 30:07Speaker 5: go to cheesecake factory, they will go. They will walk
- 30:10Speaker 5: to McDonald's with Chris Brown barefoot about what.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Are you talking about? Because they like him. She is
- 30:18Speaker 2: agreed with us. The only lady on the pot is
- 30:20Speaker 2: a grid.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Zach told us a girl stay at his house.
- 30:24Speaker 3: He had no lights.
- 30:26Speaker 2: So did she liked you? I didn't have no light,
- 30:29Speaker 2: no lights, I had no furniture. She liked. She was
- 30:32Speaker 2: like me, I have one couch on the TV. She
- 30:36Speaker 2: wanted to be there. I'm having I'm going through something.
- 30:41Speaker 5: When I first thought my house. I had a bed
- 30:43Speaker 5: frame and that was it. I didn't have any furniture
- 30:46Speaker 5: in the house.
- 30:47Speaker 2: And had company because yeah, she liked me.
- 30:52Speaker 5: Had we Drake Hennessy on the floor and watched my laptop.
- 30:57Speaker 2: It's entertainment. If a woman like you, she likes you.
- 31:01Speaker 1: If you got to go and do a bunch of
- 31:03Speaker 1: stuff for a woman, she constantly the flowers. I gotta
- 31:08Speaker 1: hold out, you gotta do this. You you ain't open
- 31:11Speaker 1: my car. She don't like you, man. She will make
- 31:15Speaker 1: excuses for your if your girl, dad is, If your
- 31:18Speaker 1: girl don't.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Make excuses for your shortcomings, she don't like you.
- 31:22Speaker 4: That's a fact.
- 31:22Speaker 2: That's a bar. That's hilarious. That's a bar. That is
- 31:26Speaker 2: say it again.
- 31:27Speaker 1: If your girl does not make excuses for your shortcomings,
- 31:33Speaker 1: she does not like you.
- 31:36Speaker 2: That is a fact.
- 31:38Speaker 3: We'd be like, well, he you know, his license suspended,
- 31:41Speaker 3: but he working on there, you know, and he trying
- 31:44Speaker 3: to get a job. They don't be you know how
- 31:46Speaker 3: they do Black men.
- 31:47Speaker 2: You know that's a fact about me. They be like,
- 31:52Speaker 2: girl here, he ain't that short, like he's.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Hollered than me. He hollered at me like me. Yes,
- 32:02Speaker 1: as long as he's taller than me. That's it, fellas well.
- 32:06Speaker 1: You got to do that extra stuff.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Don't like, don't when men show women that he not
- 32:12Speaker 3: into her? Like, how do y'all curve the women? Y'all
- 32:14Speaker 3: not into I know, well, you know, curve women at all?
- 32:19Speaker 3: The ever turn down anything?
- 32:21Speaker 2: No?
- 32:21Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, you say you crazy? You start you see crazy,
- 32:25Speaker 1: you start backing up?
- 32:26Speaker 2: How do you how do you send the signal take
- 32:29Speaker 2: your foot off the gas but that you don't like him? Yeah,
- 32:31Speaker 2: you just stop.
- 32:32Speaker 5: You don't really you don't hit him up like that's guys,
- 32:35Speaker 5: is easy. It's no, it's it's no communication.
- 32:37Speaker 2: You know. We just pulled back everything just we just
- 32:41Speaker 2: pulled back.
- 32:42Speaker 3: I wouldn't know, you know, I know that, but you
- 32:47Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, man, I'm into it to me
- 32:50Speaker 3: saying Mary, I don't know.
- 32:52Speaker 2: You know. I couldn't tell y'all. That's fun.
- 32:56Speaker 3: I couldn't tell y'all know know, you know, get off me?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Okay, how about this? When you go out to eat
- 33:09Speaker 1: it was your significant other? Are you a couple of
- 33:12Speaker 1: that cents across from one another or on the same
- 33:14Speaker 1: side of the table?
- 33:15Speaker 2: People sit on the same side table.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Widows yeah, and Ryan, you are getting the pip for that.
- 33:21Speaker 3: We've been down this road, yes, you. I think it's weird.
- 33:25Speaker 2: What I don't know what's wrong? So I sit on
- 33:27Speaker 2: the same side of the table with my woman. You
- 33:29Speaker 2: want it all the time?
- 33:31Speaker 3: He can fit over there. That's why we wouldn't because
- 33:34Speaker 3: it's not enough room.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Sometimes it's a seat, it's not.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Enough on funst That's why we don't do it.
- 33:43Speaker 3: I can't stand when I see look, I'd be like,
- 33:45Speaker 3: that's so irritating. My brother and sister still all do that.
- 33:47Speaker 3: They do Oh my god, why are y'all sitting next
- 33:50Speaker 3: to each other at a booth?
- 33:52Speaker 5: Because I'm gonna tell you what happens. Sometimes it's a
- 33:54Speaker 5: booth side and there's a chair side. I personally am
- 33:57Speaker 5: not gonna sit with my back towards the door. As
- 34:00Speaker 5: a man, I don't sit with my back towards the door.
- 34:02Speaker 5: She may not want to sit in the chair, so
- 34:06Speaker 5: sit on the same side, or she'd be like, I
- 34:07Speaker 5: want to be close to you.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Can I sit next to you?
- 34:09Speaker 4: We're talking about the regular boost though.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Which which which ones? Where they both boosts about? Yeah, that's.
- 34:19Speaker 5: Side what I'm saying. You said sitting next to each
- 34:22Speaker 5: other on the date. That's I mean, but most places
- 34:26Speaker 5: have booth sacked. When I the last time I did it,
- 34:29Speaker 5: it was chairs on this side and booth on the other.
- 34:31Speaker 5: We sat literally next to each other in the booth.
- 34:34Speaker 2: That's weird.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Okay, that's conversation. We look at each other. It's like this.
- 34:39Speaker 1: It's like this, like you're talking over your neck, Like, yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 1: I guess because I'm small.
- 34:43Speaker 2: It's gotta be. It's gotta because I was very comfortable.
- 34:47Speaker 5: I'm not husky. Ship you husky and you like big women.
- 34:53Speaker 5: Both of y'all got them size twelves.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Under the table. That's why, y'all I think about what
- 35:08Speaker 2: fell on top of each other. I get it. Y'all
- 35:15Speaker 2: need a damn couch.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I literally hate that. I like I like to look.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I like to look at you know what I'm saying.
- 35:24Speaker 1: I like to talk to my woman and look at
- 35:26Speaker 1: her face the entire time I'm eating. I want to
- 35:29Speaker 1: be able to see if she's a joint up meal.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I like looking at my woman when I eat.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I want to touch it.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I like, I like look at that like that that
- 35:38Speaker 1: that is a you can like see a lot like
- 35:41Speaker 1: I gotta look over my ship.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I don't like that you're not looking over your You're right here.
- 35:47Speaker 2: That is again.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Because if me and her turn and both our knees
- 35:52Speaker 1: ain't gonna being farther away from each others.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Hit. That's funny, Aza definitely go hit. Maybe that's what it.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Is all height man, how about this described the honeymoon
- 36:05Speaker 1: stage of a relationship?
- 36:07Speaker 2: And how long do you think it lasts? Can it
- 36:09Speaker 2: last forever? No? Ninety days? Hell no, it ain't last forever.
- 36:13Speaker 2: We know that. I didn't been out of it so long.
- 36:15Speaker 4: I don't remember. What is it like, y'all?
- 36:18Speaker 2: Honeymoon stages? Ninety when first started day it was so
- 36:22Speaker 2: long ago. I don't know, I don't remember it was long.
- 36:28Speaker 2: I thought, y'all they've been against day was kids.
- 36:31Speaker 3: We've been together for like seven years. Okay, that's a
- 36:36Speaker 3: long time ago.
- 36:36Speaker 2: That is a long time ago.
- 36:38Speaker 1: So what was it like, first first couple of days,
- 36:41Speaker 1: like y'all, like, oh, he used to buy.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Me cards for everything, the flywers for everything, dates every day,
- 36:50Speaker 3: I mean every week. Romantic, Yeah, you like real romantic, y'all?
- 36:55Speaker 3: Texting all day? You know my text are And now
- 36:58Speaker 3: it's like you want the two conduct. I know you
- 37:00Speaker 3: want the bag of pieces. Like it's like, you know
- 37:03Speaker 3: what we eating today, that's what you know.
- 37:04Speaker 4: It's like.
- 37:05Speaker 3: So it's that it's that little, that little air phase
- 37:09Speaker 3: when you first get with somebody where you just like
- 37:11Speaker 3: googly like, you know.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Cards every day, Tim, that's tough. Shout out to you
- 37:16Speaker 1: all the time. Shout out to you for that.
- 37:19Speaker 5: You need to add that to your repertoire. I do
- 37:22Speaker 5: you gotta add cards and flowers. It's so inexpensive and
- 37:25Speaker 5: and it means so much, it's so thoughtful.
- 37:28Speaker 2: I did I.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Did the cards stuff. She broke my heart, broke rose up.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I like, forget it, messed it up for everyone that's
- 37:37Speaker 1: I did the card stuff. That's them dudes in the
- 37:39Speaker 1: seventies don't like romance.
- 37:41Speaker 2: I did that. I don't like no romance. I did that.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I did the card stuff, all that card I told
- 37:49Speaker 2: I love it out, sick of it. Now they just
- 37:53Speaker 2: make everybody pay.
- 37:54Speaker 1: No.
- 37:54Speaker 5: I think that the flowers is just a thing. I
- 37:57Speaker 5: just I like making women happy that way with flowers. One,
- 38:02Speaker 5: it's not that expensive. I love Anne. That not expensive
- 38:06Speaker 5: thing that's gonna go a long way. That's gonna go
- 38:09Speaker 5: a long way flowers every time. And the thing about women,
- 38:13Speaker 5: they like it every time, Like you just didn't do it.
- 38:17Speaker 5: You did it last week. This week you got them
- 38:19Speaker 5: get and she'd be happy. My man got me flyp
- 38:22Speaker 5: to be excited. I'm saying, it's just what you go
- 38:26Speaker 5: up there. I tell you how to do it. I
- 38:27Speaker 5: don't get my secret on the on the pot, but
- 38:32Speaker 5: thirty dollars a dub a ten, two tens in two fives, tone,
- 38:40Speaker 5: turn it up.
- 38:41Speaker 2: I'm trying to tell you. Yes, women love you know,
- 38:45Speaker 2: I think I like one.
- 38:47Speaker 1: I like to see. I think restaurants. I mind love
- 38:51Speaker 1: language to women, like if I like. I like taking
- 38:55Speaker 1: women out to eat, and I really like them to
- 38:57Speaker 1: pick the spot. I have some of them favorite spots.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I have favorite spots, but you like them to choose.
- 39:03Speaker 1: I definitely like them to choose. Especially I like them
- 39:05Speaker 1: to choose restaurants that they don't normally go to or
- 39:09Speaker 1: they wanted to try.
- 39:10Speaker 2: So that's kind of my thing. I love taking a
- 39:13Speaker 2: woman out.
- 39:14Speaker 5: Okay, here's a difference though, It's that hits a different
- 39:17Speaker 5: spot for women. So women like to go to restaurants, Yes,
- 39:22Speaker 5: because you're taking them out. But they also like it
- 39:24Speaker 5: because they get to get dressed up and go somewhere.
- 39:26Speaker 5: So that's hitting a different thing. You hitting that part
- 39:30Speaker 5: of it. Like I like to get dressed up and
- 39:32Speaker 5: have a good time with my men. That's why they
- 39:34Speaker 5: like going to restaurants now and the food, right. So,
- 39:37Speaker 5: but when you add the flower aspect of it, that
- 39:40Speaker 5: unlocks a different part of their brain. That's the romance.
- 39:44Speaker 5: He thought about me, He cares about me. You're not
- 39:46Speaker 5: unlocking that with restaurants. So the combination is restaurant with flowers.
- 39:52Speaker 5: That's cold, especially the surprise flowers. Especially if you pick
- 39:55Speaker 5: her up and she didn't know you had the flowers.
- 39:58Speaker 5: You can key here now. I always thought she clapping
- 40:00Speaker 5: my hands.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I thought the part that would unlock the same the
- 40:04Speaker 1: same thing as the flowers is that I.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Pull out my credit card and pay for that whole bill.
- 40:09Speaker 5: You know, that's that's just standards. Men think that that's
- 40:13Speaker 5: I know, we all think I paid this.
- 40:15Speaker 2: It come with coochie it don't.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I don't want it to come with that, don't. That's
- 40:20Speaker 1: why it don't come with that, you know, you know
- 40:22Speaker 1: that's not my thing. I like, I'm a hospitality. So
- 40:25Speaker 1: I want you to have a good time.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I don't. I'm gonna do the things that make you
- 40:29Speaker 2: want to give me couchie.
- 40:31Speaker 1: I'm not going to expect couchie. Does that make sense.
- 40:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna do the things. I'm always let's go eat,
- 40:37Speaker 1: let's go I drinks. I'm always provide everything that you
- 40:41Speaker 1: need the conversation that is going to eventually make you say,
- 40:45Speaker 1: I want to give them some couchie.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Get it, And that's the goal, that's the goal.
- 40:49Speaker 3: But just keep in mind to Zach's point is that
- 40:53Speaker 3: I can take me out to eat, I can't really
- 40:55Speaker 3: buy me flowers and cards and write love notes to myself.
- 40:58Speaker 2: So that's what that is a good way to think
- 40:59Speaker 2: about it.
- 41:00Speaker 4: That's what That's what makes it special.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Because now these women, they we they balling so out
- 41:05Speaker 3: of control these days. You know, it's like, okay, you
- 41:08Speaker 3: bought something, Okay, I do that every day.
- 41:10Speaker 5: So that with her friends too, they can go out
- 41:13Speaker 5: and have drinks and eat somewhere, get cute.
- 41:16Speaker 1: But that's fair, all right? What else we got to
- 41:19Speaker 1: talk about, guys? Because we have gone through the list
- 41:22Speaker 1: of things. We have gone through the list.
- 41:24Speaker 4: You want to hear from the pot.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we can hear.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Anybody hard that they need to get off their chest.
- 41:30Speaker 2: No, I think we got everything off. I do. I
- 41:32Speaker 2: have to get that much.
- 41:33Speaker 4: You always got chest?
- 41:34Speaker 2: I do. Oh god, I said michaem President.
- 41:42Speaker 3: He actually made the picture of you as Michael. I
- 41:44Speaker 3: saw that on Instagram. He made he made a Michael.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Oh no, No, I.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Saw something somebody sent me an email about about black businesses.
- 42:02Speaker 1: You know, you know it's a black business here in
- 42:04Speaker 1: Chicago that you know, just they doing good, they handle altercations.
- 42:08Speaker 1: But they are having a they're having a meeting about
- 42:11Speaker 1: this one black business trying to get it shut down
- 42:14Speaker 1: and change because there's so many black people coming into
- 42:17Speaker 1: the neighborhood and it's become a party spot.
- 42:20Speaker 2: What it's crazy, it's crazy.
- 42:22Speaker 1: Ain't nothing bad happened, but just black people coming into
- 42:25Speaker 1: that neighborhood has made made them sit out an email
- 42:29Speaker 1: to have a meeting about that that business and how
- 42:33Speaker 1: do they feel about it?
- 42:35Speaker 2: How the neighbors are feeling about it.
- 42:36Speaker 5: They've had no issues, no issues just because our presence
- 42:41Speaker 5: black people. We got to realize how special we are
- 42:43Speaker 5: a group of us and our presence together just makes
- 42:46Speaker 5: people nervous, always in black people business and with no altercations,
- 42:51Speaker 5: just us there.
- 42:53Speaker 1: My thing is this, do we say and not saying
- 42:56Speaker 1: black only, I'm saying black owned. Do we just say,
- 43:00Speaker 1: you know what, we find us a little piece of
- 43:02Speaker 1: the city and just have black on black on entertainment
- 43:08Speaker 1: and business and we just go.
- 43:10Speaker 2: There like Black Wall Street used to be.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Yeah, because because I honestly, for a person that lives
- 43:17Speaker 1: in the hospitality nightlife space, it bothers me, It bothers
- 43:23Speaker 1: me and we and we do have some some fault
- 43:28Speaker 1: in it, that some fault in it, because you know,
- 43:31Speaker 1: when other people get into it, it seems to be
- 43:33Speaker 1: just fighting fists, and when we get into it, it
- 43:36Speaker 1: seems to be guns.
- 43:37Speaker 3: But still in our neighborhoods getting dropped off and putting
- 43:40Speaker 3: the hands of black boys every day.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Well, go ahead, Yeah, but I still say that I
- 43:45Speaker 1: get tired of seeing with everybody when it's just when
- 43:49Speaker 1: it's a gathering of us, everybody getting nervous.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I understand that. I mean, it's it's just it's
- 43:54Speaker 3: nothing that we're going to fix on this podcast. I
- 43:56Speaker 3: just don't feel like we need to be segregated because
- 43:58Speaker 3: that's kind of where it would lead to, and that's
- 44:00Speaker 3: what they want. But our ancestors fault too hard for
- 44:02Speaker 3: us to be in these spaces that we.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Are and we are allowed.
- 44:06Speaker 4: We have earned, overly earned. We didn't jump through it.
- 44:10Speaker 4: Trust me.
- 44:11Speaker 3: If there's a black business in a predominantly white neighborhood,
- 44:15Speaker 3: it's overly been earned to be there.
- 44:17Speaker 2: They then went through every.
- 44:18Speaker 3: Jump through, every loophole, every check mark, every license that
- 44:22Speaker 3: they need.
- 44:22Speaker 4: They have gotten it. So I don't think we need
- 44:24Speaker 4: to retreat and go run and move our stuff.
- 44:28Speaker 3: No, people just need to get use to us being
- 44:29Speaker 3: around and being in, us being here. And that's just
- 44:31Speaker 3: too damn bad because we pay taxes just like y'all do,
- 44:33Speaker 3: we work just like they do. So it is what
- 44:36Speaker 3: it is. If you want crime to change in your community,
- 44:39Speaker 3: you should start finding out where crime is truly started from.
- 44:41Speaker 3: You should start opening up resources for young people to
- 44:44Speaker 3: have something to do the same way it's allowed in
- 44:46Speaker 3: the privileged neighborhoods. You need to get them kids the
- 44:49Speaker 3: same opportunities and see what they do with the opportunities
- 44:51Speaker 3: you give them because they don't have them.
- 44:53Speaker 4: So you know, that's it's like the crime change.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Yeah, by the time you get to the news and
- 44:58Speaker 3: to the TV, it looks like it's as black people.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Just choosing to do something. But if you truly look.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Where it starts trying, it's a whole line of history
- 45:05Speaker 3: that needs to be rechanged and redone. And we can't
- 45:07Speaker 3: do that if we just gonna let them bully us
- 45:09Speaker 3: out of what we've earned.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Martin Luther Key, Okay, go ahead, right though, you ain't lying,
- 45:18Speaker 2: Set and shake, you ain't lying. You ain't lying.
- 45:20Speaker 5: They like to just take the top line, don't they
- 45:22Speaker 5: without everything and then you so you if you notice
- 45:27Speaker 5: when there's crime on the news. I hate to go
- 45:29Speaker 5: for HBCU, but when there's crime on the news and
- 45:31Speaker 5: it detail intels a black person, guess what you see
- 45:35Speaker 5: the picture of the mugshot is to sit up there,
- 45:38Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying. While they telling the story,
- 45:39Speaker 5: you're just sitting there looking at the picture. Now, if
- 45:41Speaker 5: it's a crime and it's happened to be white folks,
- 45:44Speaker 5: they just tell you what happened. You ain't see the
- 45:46Speaker 5: picture up, You ain't see done. All that plays a
- 45:48Speaker 5: part in your head, you know what I'm saying. And
- 45:50Speaker 5: if you see that over in time and time again
- 45:52Speaker 5: for years and years of years. You start to get
- 45:54Speaker 5: subconsciously feel as if we are more violent or more
- 45:58Speaker 5: criminal when we're not.
- 46:00Speaker 2: So I definitely agree with that.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I just get tired of but I was like, man,
- 46:05Speaker 1: you know what not saying black only just black owned?
- 46:10Speaker 2: We having a sex black.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Owned businesses where we can just go and prosper and
- 46:16Speaker 1: prosper without having to worry about that that type of stuff.
- 46:19Speaker 1: And then whoever wants to come to the black owned
- 46:22Speaker 1: business can come, a black owned entertainment can come. It's
- 46:25Speaker 1: not it's not it's like how Chinatown is, I feel
- 46:29Speaker 1: you black.
- 46:29Speaker 3: I just feel like black owned businesses belong everywhere they
- 46:31Speaker 3: want to be, just like Asian businesses are everywhere they
- 46:35Speaker 3: want to be. They have China table, then they also everywhere.
- 46:38Speaker 3: That's everywhere. White neighborhood, Black neighborhood, everywhere, Indian neighborhood, Chinese
- 46:45Speaker 3: they're there, Asian they're there. So I mean, I hear
- 46:48Speaker 3: what you're saying to make it easier for our people
- 46:50Speaker 3: to just be able to thrive and how they sell
- 46:53Speaker 3: their products and make their money, like they should be
- 46:55Speaker 3: able to do.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Everywhere because we lose them. Yeah, we lose them.
- 46:58Speaker 3: But unfortunately I think we got to our generation gotta
- 47:01Speaker 3: get some fight about us.
- 47:03Speaker 4: We are so lazy.
- 47:06Speaker 2: You know.
- 47:06Speaker 3: All we want to do is just live in the
- 47:08Speaker 3: comforts of what our ancestors have provided us. But clearly
- 47:11Speaker 3: we haven't done enough to protect what they did to
- 47:13Speaker 3: the point where it's getting retricked pulled it back from
- 47:15Speaker 3: us every single day. So I just say, we can't
- 47:18Speaker 3: give up on you know, because it's uncomfortable. No, we
- 47:21Speaker 3: got to live through the uncomfort like our people had
- 47:22Speaker 3: to live through it, and when they were setting their whole
- 47:24Speaker 3: blocks on fire, burning their businesses down to the ground,
- 47:29Speaker 3: I'm done.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Okay. You know that's a few.
- 47:34Speaker 4: Things that happened this week for me that just have
- 47:37Speaker 4: me in the in the Martin.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Luther Key mood to march down. If y'all only knew.
- 47:50Speaker 2: I get it, though, I get it. I get your
- 47:52Speaker 2: frustration too, tone I get it. For me, I just
- 47:55Speaker 2: get tired of it. I get tired of it, you
- 47:57Speaker 2: know what I mean. And you know.
- 47:58Speaker 1: I've watched all this stuff, but like everybody on their
- 48:01Speaker 1: timeline talking about you know, boycotts and all these different
- 48:04Speaker 1: things and I'm like, yo, like.
