Warning for Dog Owners_Toxic Algae
We talk with Melissa Martin from Wilmington, NC, whose three dogs died within hours of playing near a neighborhood pond. The dogs died from exposure to toxic blue-green algae, which has been found in several ponds and lakes in the Washington, D.C. area. The toxic algae is also dangerous for humans.
