Speaker 1: We have Holy Spirit, God living inside of us, living

Speaker 1: of the Son, and by way of Holy Spirit. The

Speaker 1: and prideful and thinking that they need God and they

Speaker 1: Scripture says. And if you're a Christian, and if you're

Speaker 1: man and acting and believing and trusting and having patience, kindness,

Speaker 1: self control, goodness, joy, a man, all of it. Once

Speaker 1: it's one fruit all those nine that's listed is actually

Speaker 1: the fruit of the Spirit, not the fruits. The fruit

Speaker 1: of the Spirit. I want to emphasize that because people

Speaker 1: think there's a list that we have to check off. No,

Speaker 1: we have it all. Once you were born again, you

Speaker 1: have the fruit of the Holy Spirit. And God will

Speaker 1: times that you get angry, you get impatient, you get frustrated.

Speaker 1: Bible says that the power of the air, the Prince

Speaker 1: heavenly realms. Negative thoughts. You ever wonder why you wake

Speaker 1: up sometimes and you wake up in a cold sweat,

Speaker 1: or you just come out of a nightmare, or you

Speaker 1: feel like something's off in your home, or you feel

Speaker 1: like a presence that's not a peaceful presence. The enemy

Speaker 1: is lurking. He's all around us. Amen. But the power

Speaker 1: here's some practical steps. Be slow to speak, forgive quickly

Speaker 1: replace anger with the fruit of the spirit. Right when

Speaker 1: when we don't have something, we start trying to replace

Speaker 1: what we don't have with something else. Right, So let's

Speaker 1: be wise and let's be smart about it if we

Speaker 1: know we're the root of our angers, or we know

Speaker 1: the cause of our anger. Because technically, if you think

Speaker 1: about it, no one can cause you to get angry. Technically, right,

Speaker 1: we get angry because things happen, get cut off in

Speaker 1: a highway, somebody curses at you or your wife. You know,

Speaker 1: you could get angry at so many different things the

Speaker 1: other the other last week someone pushed me out of

Speaker 1: the way and said, a watch you out like crazy stuff. Right,

Speaker 1: so you get angry, but we literally technically can't blame

Speaker 1: somebody else for our anger, our emotion. Then if we

Speaker 1: have self control, right, we could be like, all right,

Speaker 1: that was wrong? What was them to us just now?

Speaker 1: But we now have a way to control and a

Speaker 1: way to respond and react in a godly way. Because

Speaker 1: if we have Holy Spirit, imagine if the Holy Spirit

Speaker 1: will get angry all the time, imagine that. Imagine, oh

Speaker 1: you know, they disrespected me, they blasphem me, they they

Speaker 1: hurt me, they did, then that would be like an

Speaker 1: attribute of a human being, not of God, not of

Speaker 1: an ultimate uber being, a man, supreme being. Holy Spirit

Speaker 1: fear is everywhere. The spirit of fear is actually a spirit. Right.

Speaker 1: The word says that God did not give us the

Speaker 1: spirit of fear. So if God is calling fear of spirit,

Speaker 1: Like my daughter, my youngest one, has this thing about

Speaker 1: she's scared of everything. Now all of a sudden, she

Speaker 1: got that from my oldest sister. Her sister used to

Speaker 1: do that when she was younger. Now my younger daughter

Speaker 1: is doing it. I'm scared. I'm scared. And when me

Speaker 1: and my wife said, it's nothing to be afraid of,

Speaker 1: God is here. I'm afraid of the dark. So we

Speaker 1: always say, so turn on the light, amen, Darkness has

Speaker 1: to go. But it's everywhere. And the reason why I

Speaker 1: think that she's saying things like that, I'm afraid that

Speaker 1: think is what she's watching, social media, YouTube, whatever promotes

Speaker 1: this thing of fear. Oh, don't do that, don't do that.

Speaker 1: This is gonna happen. This is gonna happen when you

Speaker 1: hear that over and over again, when you're around people

Speaker 1: like that over and over again, when you're surrounding your

Speaker 1: thoughts and what you see and what you hear where

Speaker 1: things of fear, those things will try to creep in

Speaker 1: our life. Amen, But back to anger. When we're feeling angry,

Speaker 1: that anger with the spirit of God. We replace anger

Speaker 1: with the fruit of the spirit. Anger loses his power

Speaker 1: when you cultivate the character of Christ. Anger loses his

Speaker 1: power when we become more like Jesus. Anger loses his

Speaker 1: power when we will realize who we are in Christ

Speaker 1: and who Christ is in us. Well, Anger loses his

Speaker 1: power when we walk in enjoy peace, self controlled, kindness, right,

Speaker 1: all of it. When we have the fruit of the spirit,

Speaker 1: anger loses his grip. Anger loses its power because anger

Speaker 1: is a powerful emotion. Right, It takes a lot more

Speaker 1: for some people to get angry than they are to

Speaker 1: be happy. Just put it like that, and anger changes

Speaker 1: our demeanor, changes our face, even our face from a

Speaker 1: smile turns into upside down smile, which is a frown.

Speaker 1: You know, our blood pressure goes off the charts. We

Speaker 1: could feel the adrenaline. Anger causes us our body to

Speaker 1: move differently. Right, So imagine what it does in a

Speaker 1: spirit out of control. A spirit out of control that's

Speaker 1: angry is gonna sin. A spirit that's in control when

Speaker 1: we're angry will not sin. It's an amazing thing to have,

Speaker 1: amazing nobility that God gives us as his children, the

Speaker 1: amazing ability of self control. Sister Joy says, Amen to

Speaker 1: self control. Yes, if it wasn't for that man, this

Speaker 1: will be a much worse planet earth. Right, everybody will

Speaker 1: be out of control. But the brothers and sisters of Christ,

Speaker 1: the children of God, Amen, we respond differently. And that's

Speaker 1: why I believe that we get ridiculed the most, made

Speaker 1: fun of the most, that we're persecuted the most, as

Speaker 1: if you want to call a religion, but as a people,

Speaker 1: because they see the kindness of God living inside of us,

Speaker 1: and they think that they take it for weakness. They

Speaker 1: see the meekness, the power under control, the meekness, and

Speaker 1: they think that's weakness. And since they don't understand, and

Speaker 1: they don't believe, and they don't know the Word and men,

Speaker 1: they take a lot more out on Christians than any

Speaker 1: other group of people on this planet. Look it up

Speaker 1: if you don't believe me. Amen. Persecution is all the

Speaker 1: way in America. And we're you know, we're already being

Speaker 1: told to be quiet. Not in this season right now,

Speaker 1: we're actually being encouraged to keep on going. But in

Speaker 1: other seasons in our governmental system, we've been told to

Speaker 1: be quiet. This season we might be okay, Amen, but

Speaker 1: then there's gonna be another season coming back. Be quiet,

Speaker 1: you Christians, go away. It's gonna happen, and it's gonna

Speaker 1: be more than that in the end times, as we

Speaker 1: get closer to the return of our Lord, and I

Speaker 1: will save it the Lord Jesus Christ. So replace anger

Speaker 1: with the fruit of the spirit. Practically seek accountability. How

Speaker 1: am I doing right? Ask somebody that you love, how

Speaker 1: loose still with my uncontrollable anger? Do I have temper tantrum?

Speaker 1: You're looking at a person or you're listening to a

Speaker 1: person that was angry from the age of fifteen all

Speaker 1: the way to thirty years old, anger, out of control,
