Mega Edition: The Questions Still Hanging In The Air When it Comes To Epstein's Death (8/5/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

0:00
Speaker 1: Hello everyone, and welcome to the Jeffrey Epstein Show. I'm
0:04
Speaker 1: your host, Bobby Capuci and this is a daily update.
0:11
Speaker 1: What's up everybody in greetings from Sin City. One of
0:16
Speaker 1: the most pressing questions surrounding the whole entire Jeffrey Epstein
0:20
Speaker 1: fiasco is what happened in that jail cell the day
0:24
Speaker 1: that he died. Did he kill himself? Was he murdered.
0:29
Speaker 1: Did somebody pass a message on to him telling him
0:32
Speaker 1: that he better kill himself or else? We don't know.
0:38
Speaker 1: And my biggest problem with the whole entire thing is
0:42
Speaker 1: the lack of transparency from the powers that be. From
0:46
Speaker 1: the very beginning all the way up through now, there
0:49
Speaker 1: has been a complete lack of transparency. And when it
0:53
Speaker 1: was all cracking off, I laughed at it. Then anything
0:59
Speaker 1: that Bill Barr is in charge of, Folks, you can
1:03
Speaker 1: mark me down as somebody who's skeptical. The dude is
1:08
Speaker 1: legitimately a villain from a TV story. Just take a
1:13
Speaker 1: look at him. Look at all of the different areas
1:16
Speaker 1: where he's been hanging out in his life, all the
1:18
Speaker 1: people he's been around, the war criminal, George Bush in
1:21
Speaker 1: that campaign, in that administration, check hanging out with old
1:25
Speaker 1: Donald boy check everywhere the guy goes, and then don't
1:29
Speaker 1: even get me started about old Pops and Jeffrey Epstein
1:32
Speaker 1: in the high school. So, yeah, forgive me if I
1:36
Speaker 1: don't believe Bill Barr and his assertions or Bill Barr
1:40
Speaker 1: and his Oh well, you should trust me, because I
1:44
Speaker 1: don't trust him. I don't trust any one of them.
1:46
Speaker 1: And in fact, at this point, the whole entire lot
1:49
Speaker 1: of them have no one to blame but themselves, by
1:52
Speaker 1: the way, for the lack of trust in the institutions
1:55
Speaker 1: in them in all of this, the whole process. People
2:00
Speaker 1: are fed up and people are tired of being lied to.
2:03
Speaker 1: We're not just gonna take it at face value. When
2:06
Speaker 1: Bill Barr comes trotting out in his dumpy ass ill
2:10
Speaker 1: fitting suit talking about, well I saw the video, you
2:12
Speaker 1: can trust me. No, bro, we don't trust you. Let
2:15
Speaker 1: us see the video. Why isn't that public? What's taking
2:19
Speaker 1: the Inspector General all of this time to complete their
2:22
Speaker 1: investigation should be pretty cut and dry, right, you guys
2:27
Speaker 1: came out and said, oh, it's a suicide, pretty cut
2:29
Speaker 1: and dry. Everybody should believe the narrative, and of course
2:34
Speaker 1: the lapdogs and the legacy media. They jumped right on.
2:37
Speaker 1: They were more than happy to buy into the narrative
2:40
Speaker 1: and call everybody else a conspiracy theorist. But even now,
2:47
Speaker 1: all these months later, all these years later, you have
2:50
Speaker 1: people like Julie K. Smith, who who's talking about what
2:55
Speaker 1: happened in this jail cell. Nobody really knows. So, really,
3:01
Speaker 1: when everything comes around and catches up in the end,
3:06
Speaker 1: you weren't the conspiracy theorist. You folks been sniffing this
3:09
Speaker 1: shit out from the jump, and we still have questions.
3:12
Speaker 1: You still have questions, and to this day we have
3:16
Speaker 1: not gotten proper answers about what happened in that jail
3:19
Speaker 1: cell the first time when he was sharing a cell
3:22
Speaker 1: with our buddy Tartaglioni, or especially the second time when
3:26
Speaker 1: he was clipped, or when he offed himself, whatever it was.
3:31
Speaker 1: I don't think it's illegitimate for people that are footing
3:34
Speaker 1: the bill, being the citizens, to ask for a complete
3:38
Speaker 1: accounting of what occurred in that jail cell. It's not
3:41
Speaker 1: a matter of national security. It's a matter of protecting
3:43
Speaker 1: your friends, isn't it. Isn't that really what it comes
3:46
Speaker 1: down to, Isn't that really what this has been all
3:48
Speaker 1: about this whole entire cover up, because that's what it is.
3:53
Speaker 1: How long have I been saying that to you folks
3:55
Speaker 1: here on the podcast. It's an international cover up. Fuck
3:59
Speaker 1: a conspiracy, yeah, an international criminal conspiracy maybe, but it's
4:03
Speaker 1: most certainly an international cover up with many peoples at
4:07
Speaker 1: many levers of power playing a part. But now their
4:10
Speaker 1: whole entire spot's getting blown up. They're getting that spotlight
4:14
Speaker 1: shined on them, and they don't know how to react.
4:17
Speaker 1: They don't know how to conduct themselves. Oh what they'll
4:19
Speaker 1: do is they'll come out and they'll start talking about, oh,
4:21
Speaker 1: this is dangerous speech. We have to censor these people
4:25
Speaker 1: because that's their mo And unfortunately, they'll get a significant
4:29
Speaker 1: portion of the population to play along until that portion
4:36
Speaker 1: of the population is the next target. See how this
4:40
Speaker 1: all works. See why I'm so against bullshit ass censorship.
4:45
Speaker 1: You want to give inroads to people like Bill Barr,
4:48
Speaker 1: You want to work as a useful idiot for people
4:51
Speaker 1: like Bill Barr. Get on board with censorship, because that's
4:54
Speaker 1: exactly what it is. It's authoritarian no matter how you
4:57
Speaker 1: chop it up, how you look at it, don't care
5:00
Speaker 1: how you dress it. The facts are the facts. And
5:04
Speaker 1: anyone who's trying to stamp out dissent, anyone who's trying
5:10
Speaker 1: to stamp out robust conversation, is an enemy of free thought,
5:14
Speaker 1: and it's certainly an enemy of getting to the bottom
5:16
Speaker 1: of what happened in the Jeffrey Epstein case, because these
5:20
Speaker 1: people are so brazen to continue with their cover ups
5:23
Speaker 1: because they know people will buy it, hook line and
5:26
Speaker 1: sinker when they pitch their narrative. But that's not really
5:31
Speaker 1: the case so much anymore, is it. There are alternative
5:35
Speaker 1: means for people to get their news. There are plenty
5:38
Speaker 1: of good journalists who used to work for the establishment,
5:41
Speaker 1: the legacy media who have bounced. They have substack pages
5:45
Speaker 1: now or wherever else they can be found, medium or
5:49
Speaker 1: whatever it may be. But the legacy media itself is
5:55
Speaker 1: an absolute joke, and they played a part in this
5:58
Speaker 1: whole cover up this whole time. And they also played
6:00
Speaker 1: a part, as we all know, in whitewashing Jeffrey Epstein
6:03
Speaker 1: and refurbishing his image. So yeah, people are skeptical when
6:09
Speaker 1: they hear Bill Barr watch the video, and then the
6:14
Speaker 1: media doesn't go hard on that. They just accept it
6:16
Speaker 1: after they challenged everything else the guy had to say. Now,
6:20
Speaker 1: they're just gonna accept that the video was legit, that
6:22
Speaker 1: he watched and everything's cool. Sorry, I'm not willing to
6:26
Speaker 1: buy it. They don't have that kind of political credibility
6:30
Speaker 1: with me. These fools have been lying and lying and
6:35
Speaker 1: lying and lying at every turn. All of a sudden,
6:37
Speaker 1: we're supposed to just believe what Bill barr says. Nope, sorry,
6:41
Speaker 1: not gonna do it. So today we're gonna jump back
6:44
Speaker 1: in the time machine and we're gonna go back to
6:46
Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, and we're gonna read an article from the
6:50
Speaker 1: World Socialist Website WSWS dot org. And this article was
6:56
Speaker 1: authored by Kevin Reid, and it gets right to the
7:00
Speaker 1: heart of the matter that nobody believes who Bill barrn
7:02
Speaker 1: is bullshit, and the whole narrative that they try to
7:05
Speaker 1: pitch it fell flat for anybody who is using any
7:08
Speaker 1: kind of critical thought. So I've had this one bookmarked
7:12
Speaker 1: in the catalog for quite some time, and I figured,
7:14
Speaker 1: you know, what, what the hell, I'm in the studio,
7:17
Speaker 1: might as well add it while we're here. So let's
7:20
Speaker 1: jump into this article from Kevin Reid over at the
7:23
Speaker 1: World Socialist Website and let's see what he's about headline.
7:30
Speaker 1: US Attorney General Barr adds to cover up and death
7:33
Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein. Yeah, pretty fair. US Attorney General William
7:39
Speaker 1: Barr backtracked on comments he made last August about the
7:42
Speaker 1: circumstances surrounding the death of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, telling
7:47
Speaker 1: the Associated Press on Friday that a series of mistakes
7:51
Speaker 1: by prison authorities gave the multi millionaire Wall Street consultant,
7:56
Speaker 1: if you want to call him that asset, you know,
7:59
Speaker 1: money launder, abuser, pedophile, plenty of things we can call him,
8:03
Speaker 1: the opportunity to kill himself in his jail cell on
8:07
Speaker 1: August tenth. And look, I'm more than willing to accept
8:13
Speaker 1: that the guy killed himself. It's possible. Look you're in there,
8:16
Speaker 1: you're facing all this time. Very possible. He snapped and said,
8:19
Speaker 1: fucking I'm killing myself. I think the likeliest of options
8:24
Speaker 1: that we have in front of us is that somebody,
8:29
Speaker 1: meaning TARTAGLIONI, probably passed a message on to Jeffrey Epstein
8:33
Speaker 1: telling him that he if he did not kill himself,
8:35
Speaker 1: he could expect to get ruffed up every single fucking
8:38
Speaker 1: day of his life. The way he was getting ruffed
8:40
Speaker 1: up by Tartaglioni in that jail cell, and until somebody
8:44
Speaker 1: can prove differently, I'm one hundred percent on board with
8:47
Speaker 1: the fact that Tartaglioni was in there to send a message.
8:50
Speaker 1: There is no other reason for a man facing four homicides,
8:54
Speaker 1: who had already got busted with contraband in the lockup,
8:57
Speaker 1: to be in a cell with Jeffrey Epstein. Doesn't ring
9:02
Speaker 1: alarm bells for anybody else. Bill Barr doesn't want to
9:06
Speaker 1: address that, but no, he saw the video. So let's
9:11
Speaker 1: just believe what Bill Barr has to say, because you know, look,
9:13
Speaker 1: he's a salt and pillar of the earth kind of guy, right,
9:16
Speaker 1: the hell of a fella, the kind of guy you
9:17
Speaker 1: want coaching your kid's baseball team, said nobody ever. Barr
9:24
Speaker 1: said that although he initially had suspicions about Epstein's death
9:27
Speaker 1: under federal custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center MCC in Manhattan,
9:32
Speaker 1: he had come to the conclusions that it was a suicide.
9:36
Speaker 1: Barr added, I can understand people who immediately whose minds
9:40
Speaker 1: went to sort of the worst case scenario, because it
9:43
Speaker 1: was the perfect storm of screw ups. Yeah, and nobody.
9:46
Speaker 1: I shouldn't say nobody, because I guess people do. But
9:49
Speaker 1: I do not believe that there are way too many
9:51
Speaker 1: coincidences that had to take place, all at the right time,
9:55
Speaker 1: at the perfect point, for all of them to intersect,
9:59
Speaker 1: for this to a for it to be this perfect
10:01
Speaker 1: storm he's talking about. There's no way that this was
10:05
Speaker 1: all coincidences. I'm gonna need to see some heavy proof.
10:13
Speaker 1: The AP reports that Barr drew his conclusion after the
10:16
Speaker 1: FBI and the Justice Department's inspector General continue to investigate,
10:21
Speaker 1: adding that he sought to dampen conspiracy theories by people
10:24
Speaker 1: who have questioned whether Epstein really took his own life,
10:28
Speaker 1: saying the evidence proves Epstein killed himself. So again with
10:33
Speaker 1: the inspector General, we were talking about this, What are
10:37
Speaker 1: you doing? How much longer is it going to take
10:40
Speaker 1: you to get this investigation done? Did he kill himself?
10:44
Speaker 1: Didn't he kill himself? Let's see the evidence. What does
10:46
Speaker 1: the inspector General think? But again, the inspector General is
10:50
Speaker 1: just another toothless organization within a group of toothless organizations.
10:57
Speaker 1: They can't even indict. The inspector General can recommend indictments,
11:03
Speaker 1: but they can't indict themselves. It's more of this, Oh,
11:07
Speaker 1: let's well, we'll safeguard ourselves, we'll put the checks and
11:11
Speaker 1: balances on ourselves, we'll investigate ourselves. When does that work?
11:15
Speaker 1: Throughout this whole investigation, whether it's the FBI, the government,
11:21
Speaker 1: these private companies, Leon Black, whatever, it always turns into
11:24
Speaker 1: an absolute carnival shit show. But we should believe the
11:29
Speaker 1: Inspector General, right. And it's funny because when we have
11:34
Speaker 1: a political issue that the Inspector General pops up and
11:37
Speaker 1: talks about, you'll have one side of the aisle, Oh,
11:40
Speaker 1: guy doesn't know what he's talking about. It's bullshit, that's
11:42
Speaker 1: absolute bullshit. Then the other side when the Inspector General
11:47
Speaker 1: finds something in their favor Air quotes here, it's the
11:50
Speaker 1: same thing. But all of a sudden, people want to
11:53
Speaker 1: believe the Inspector General when it's Jeffrey Epstein. What the
11:56
Speaker 1: fuck are you guys thinking? These people cannot be trusted,
12:00
Speaker 1: the Inspector General and all of these bureaucrats until they
12:05
Speaker 1: prove that they've earned the trust back. I don't know
12:09
Speaker 1: how anybody can trust them. Barr gave his interview two
12:19
Speaker 1: days after, two MCC prison guards, Tovin Noel and Michael Thomas,
12:23
Speaker 1: were arrested and charged on multiple counts in connection with
12:26
Speaker 1: their failure to monitor Epstein during the hours preceding as death.
12:31
Speaker 1: The guards, who had worked overtime shifts in extended hours
12:34
Speaker 1: at the understaffed facility, have been accused of sleeping and
12:38
Speaker 1: browsing the Internet between ten thirty pm and six thirty am,
12:43
Speaker 1: when they should have been checking on Epstein every half hour.
12:47
Speaker 1: They are also charged with filing fraudulent reports. Now we
12:52
Speaker 1: know how that ended up suspended sentences, one hundred hours
12:55
Speaker 1: of community service, and the government probably gave him that
12:58
Speaker 1: deal because they were skilled that these guards were gonna
13:02
Speaker 1: unload on the facility and how bad it's managed, how
13:05
Speaker 1: terribly it's administered. So the government was probably like, look,
13:11
Speaker 1: we'll give you a suspended sentence. Let's put this to bed. Now.
13:15
Speaker 1: I've always maintained that these guards should have faced some
13:18
Speaker 1: sort of penalty. What kind of penalty, I don't know,
13:21
Speaker 1: but for them to be the only ones again in
13:23
Speaker 1: trouble ear, really, that's that's really what they're gonna try
13:26
Speaker 1: and pitch us. What about the shift boss? What about
13:29
Speaker 1: the you know, the manager on duty. We go through
13:32
Speaker 1: this every time we talk about this, but you know what,
13:34
Speaker 1: it's worth mentioning again everybody that was involved in the
13:39
Speaker 1: chain of custody as far as the evidence goes as well.
13:43
Speaker 1: Where all of these people have any of them been fired,
13:45
Speaker 1: they're probably running other facilities these days. An attorney for
13:52
Speaker 1: one of the two, both of whom have pled not guilty,
13:54
Speaker 1: has said that the guards are being scapegoaded, even if
13:58
Speaker 1: the claims against them are true. The lawyer knows such
14:00
Speaker 1: violations are normally considered prison employee disciplinary issues and not
14:05
Speaker 1: criminal actions. And you know what, I agree with that. Honestly,
14:09
Speaker 1: scapegoating these guards was never going to work for me,
14:13
Speaker 1: and I know it wasn't going to work for you
14:14
Speaker 1: folks out there. So that was a terrible strategy that
14:17
Speaker 1: these guys came up with. And it's no wonder that
14:23
Speaker 1: these prison guards basically walked scott free, right. I doubt
14:26
Speaker 1: they're even gonna lose their pensions or whatever. The guards
14:32
Speaker 1: discovered Epstein with a noose made out of bedsheets around
14:35
Speaker 1: his neck when they entered his cell in the morning
14:37
Speaker 1: to bring him breakfast. Epstein had been in prison for
14:40
Speaker 1: more than a month before his death. He was arrested
14:43
Speaker 1: by the FBI on July sixth at Teeterborough Airport in
14:47
Speaker 1: New Jersey and charged with multiple counts of sex trafficking
14:51
Speaker 1: with victims, including underage females. So Epstein was posted up
14:58
Speaker 1: in the jail, as we all know, for a month
15:02
Speaker 1: or so, a little more than a month and waiting for,
15:05
Speaker 1: you know, things to fall into place. Had talked to
15:08
Speaker 1: Doug Showan a little bit before this, had a new
15:10
Speaker 1: strategy in place right before his alleged suicide, and according
15:15
Speaker 1: to his lawyers, was upbeaten ready to rock. On August twelfth,
15:21
Speaker 1: two days after Epstein was found dead, Bar gave comments
15:24
Speaker 1: to the press in which he seemed to question the
15:27
Speaker 1: claims of suicide, saying the Department of Justice was now
15:30
Speaker 1: learning of serious irregularities at the facility that are deeply
15:34
Speaker 1: concerning and demand a thorough investigation. See what Barr was doing.
15:39
Speaker 1: There was a little misdirection, right, Oh, I see your concerns.
15:43
Speaker 1: I understand your concerns, and I'm going to address them.
15:47
Speaker 1: See how that all worked out, right, Mister transparency himself
15:52
Speaker 1: Bill Barr Darth Barr. Although Barr is now endorsing the
16:00
Speaker 1: finding of the New York Medical Examiner that Epstein died
16:03
Speaker 1: from suicide by hanging, and says that his conclusion is
16:06
Speaker 1: based on an investigation conducted by the FBI and the
16:09
Speaker 1: Justice Department Inspector General. The details of this investigation have
16:14
Speaker 1: not been made public. Now, remember this article is from
16:17
Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, folks, These details still have not been made public.
16:21
Speaker 1: And if you try and hit them with a Freedom
16:22
Speaker 1: of Information Act, they tell you it's an ongoing investigation.
16:25
Speaker 1: What the fuck does that mean? Really takes you that
16:29
Speaker 1: long to figure out if this dude hung himself or
16:30
Speaker 1: if somebody clipped him. What are you guys obfuscating? Seems
16:35
Speaker 1: like they're drawing out the investigation solely to use that
16:38
Speaker 1: as the cover for not providing documents about what occurred.
16:43
Speaker 1: They really think you're stupid. They're banking on it. In fact,
16:50
Speaker 1: Barr's perfect storm theory is dubious on its face, since
16:53
Speaker 1: the known facts surrounding Epstein's death, including any so called
16:57
Speaker 1: prison screw ups, point in the direction of murder, not suicide.
17:02
Speaker 1: The most important of these facts are Epstein was a
17:05
Speaker 1: member of the financial elite, with social and business ties
17:09
Speaker 1: to top US political figures, foreign dignitaries, royalty, and the
17:13
Speaker 1: super rich around the world. Many of these associates frequented
17:17
Speaker 1: Epstein's lavish residences in New York City and Little Saint
17:21
Speaker 1: James in the Caribbean, which was dubbed org Island. And
17:26
Speaker 1: let's not forget Zoro Ranch. Let's not forget France, Let's
17:29
Speaker 1: not forget any other place that Jeffrey Epstein was active.
17:32
Speaker 1: We know he was active up in Michigan. We've heard
17:35
Speaker 1: about Montreal and I'm guessing anywhere that this sick fuck
17:39
Speaker 1: ever stepped down from a plane. Yeah, there's probably active
17:43
Speaker 1: abusing people there as well. Epstein had been arrested and
17:49
Speaker 1: charged with sex crimes previously in two thousand and six
17:52
Speaker 1: and two thousand and eight, but his connections with people
17:55
Speaker 1: in high places resulted in cover ups. It was because
17:58
Speaker 1: he was an asset to the federal government. We've established this.
18:01
Speaker 1: An article recently came out talking about how he was
18:04
Speaker 1: an FBI informant. There's paperwork on it, the whole thing.
18:10
Speaker 1: This has always been my working theory. You know a
18:12
Speaker 1: lot of people ran around and tried to pitch you that, oh,
18:14
Speaker 1: he's in the Masad bullshit wrong, that's BS. Oh he's
18:18
Speaker 1: in the CIA wrong, that's BS. Dude's been an asset.
18:21
Speaker 1: That's exactly what he is. He was your perfect kind
18:26
Speaker 1: of asset for the people that we're talking about here,
18:31
Speaker 1: somebody who they had their hooks in, but somebody who
18:34
Speaker 1: could deliver, and they have undercover informants on the payroll
18:41
Speaker 1: like you wouldn't believe, Nazis, white supremist terrorists, you name it.
18:47
Speaker 1: And that's exactly what Jeffrey Epstein was an asset of
18:51
Speaker 1: at the very least, the FBI, CIA at the very least,
18:56
Speaker 1: and that's why he was provided all of this cover,
18:59
Speaker 1: all of this protect In the first case, he was
19:06
Speaker 1: permitted a non prosecution agreement and immunity from all charges.
19:10
Speaker 1: In the second, he pled guilty to a prostitution charge
19:14
Speaker 1: and served eighteen months in prison, during which he was
19:16
Speaker 1: granted a work release for up to twelve hours a day,
19:20
Speaker 1: six days a week, allowing him to come and go
19:23
Speaker 1: as he pleased. And we all know he didn't even
19:25
Speaker 1: serve that whole entire sentence. Imagine what this fucking eye
19:29
Speaker 1: did and walked. The only way that happens, folks, is
19:33
Speaker 1: if your leash is being held by one of the
19:37
Speaker 1: three Letter agencies. In the twenty nineteen case, it became
19:42
Speaker 1: clear that the Wall Street investment consultant would likely seek
19:46
Speaker 1: a plead deal, possibly giving information about the ruling class
19:50
Speaker 1: figures who were complicit in his alleged procurement of young
19:53
Speaker 1: girls for sex. One hundred percent. Look, there was no
19:57
Speaker 1: doubt in anyone's mind that Epstein was willing to roll
19:59
Speaker 1: over this second time. He understood that he was not
20:01
Speaker 1: protected anymore. The bridges were burned. There was no you know,
20:05
Speaker 1: rorodeo riding into town to save his ass. The party
20:10
Speaker 1: was over. He was burned. As an asset. He could
20:12
Speaker 1: no longer be useful to the agencies, and so therefore
20:16
Speaker 1: he had to twist in the wind. So they went
20:18
Speaker 1: about their business, cutting all of their ties to him,
20:20
Speaker 1: chopping away that loose fat, losing a year of emails
20:24
Speaker 1: of Acostas and all of the rest of the bullshit
20:26
Speaker 1: they were up to. On July twenty third, Epstein was
20:35
Speaker 1: found injured and unconscious at one thirty am on the
20:38
Speaker 1: floor of his prison cell. Although authorities claimed Epstein attempted
20:42
Speaker 1: to kill himself, he reportedly told his legal team that
20:45
Speaker 1: his cellmate, former police officer Nicholas Tartaglioni aka Tat Tat,
20:50
Speaker 1: who was facing four counts of murder, had assaulted and
20:53
Speaker 1: tried to kill him. Tartaglioni was subsequently cleared of any
20:57
Speaker 1: wrongdoing by an internal prison review. Oh was he so
21:01
Speaker 1: the man who had the contraband just prior to this
21:05
Speaker 1: gets a bump up in stature, goes to a cell
21:09
Speaker 1: to be the cell made of one of the most
21:10
Speaker 1: prized prisoners in the system at that point, and for what?
21:15
Speaker 1: For what reason? To keep them company? Or was he
21:18
Speaker 1: there to send a message? Look, I've told you, folks
21:21
Speaker 1: where that's where I land at this point, I believe
21:23
Speaker 1: Tartaglione was there to send a message to Epstein that
21:27
Speaker 1: first night around in that cell. Bust his ass up.
21:29
Speaker 1: Let him know you, this is going to be your
21:31
Speaker 1: whole life here, bro, were you better off yourself or
21:35
Speaker 1: someone's gonna do it for you and it won't be
21:37
Speaker 1: a fun, pleasant way. Here's a little taste. Now that's
21:41
Speaker 1: my hypothesis, that's my working theory. I am more than
21:45
Speaker 1: willing to go somewhere else if the evidence presents itself.
21:49
Speaker 1: But as of now, this certainly seems like the most
21:51
Speaker 1: likely scenario to me. Okham's razor and all right. Epstein
21:58
Speaker 1: was then relocated to a special housing unit in the
22:00
Speaker 1: prison and placed on suicide watch. The Justice Department was
22:04
Speaker 1: told he would have his cell mate at all times,
22:06
Speaker 1: but on August ninth, Epstein's cellmate was inexplicably transferred out
22:11
Speaker 1: with no replacement. And usually you have a jel house
22:14
Speaker 1: snitch with somebody like Epstein, somebody like that Bill Mercy guy.
22:18
Speaker 1: But no, not this time. They didn't have that going on.
22:20
Speaker 1: Figure that fuck it, We'll just have him roll by himself.
22:23
Speaker 1: What's the worst that could happen? I know, just another
22:27
Speaker 1: screw up, just another coincidence. Forensic pathologist doctor Michael Boden
22:34
Speaker 1: was present for the autopsy and has reported that the
22:36
Speaker 1: neck bone fractures, the broken blood vessels in the face
22:39
Speaker 1: and eyes, and the depression from the ligature made of
22:42
Speaker 1: bedsheets around Epstein's neck are consistent with homicidal murder, not suicide.
22:49
Speaker 1: So here's where you get down into the weeds of it.
22:51
Speaker 1: Who do you believe? Which narrative do you believe, Doctor
22:53
Speaker 1: Michael Boden or the medical examiner who has more to
22:56
Speaker 1: lose here. Now people will say, oh, Michael Boden's been
22:59
Speaker 1: hired by the family. Of course, is you going to
23:00
Speaker 1: say this? That's fair, It's definitely a valid argument. And
23:06
Speaker 1: then the other side will say, well, the state's trying
23:08
Speaker 1: to can either trying to craft the narrative, they're trying
23:10
Speaker 1: to b s us, they're trying to run a story here,
23:12
Speaker 1: and that is also a valid argument. So it comes
23:15
Speaker 1: down to who do you trust, Michael Bowden or the city,
23:19
Speaker 1: the examiner, the medical examiner, and Bill Barr. Epstein's lawyers
23:27
Speaker 1: reported that he was in good spirits the day before
23:30
Speaker 1: he was found dead, and that he exhibited no signs
23:32
Speaker 1: of depression or suicidal behavior and was looking forward to
23:36
Speaker 1: working on his legal defense. And that's what we talked
23:40
Speaker 1: about as well with Doug Showan. Right we read that article,
23:42
Speaker 1: Doug Showan was adamant that Jeffrey Epstein had a legal
23:45
Speaker 1: defense in place and that he was ready to rock,
23:49
Speaker 1: and it looked like Doug Showan was going to be
23:51
Speaker 1: the lead attorney on this case. The timing of Barr's comments,
23:59
Speaker 1: coming on the of the indictment of the prison guards,
24:02
Speaker 1: indicates that the FBI and the Department of Justice are
24:05
Speaker 1: moving rapidly to shut down any further investigation into the
24:09
Speaker 1: events at the MCC on the night of August ninth
24:12
Speaker 1: and into the morning of August tenth. Absolutely, that's why
24:15
Speaker 1: the guards got the plea deal as well. See what
24:18
Speaker 1: happened there is the Department of Justice. Justice was trying
24:21
Speaker 1: to flex, Oh look, we're gonna indict them. They had
24:24
Speaker 1: no interest and they weren't going no plans to go
24:29
Speaker 1: all the way to see it through a trial. They
24:31
Speaker 1: never wanted that. They wanted to show you, oh look
24:33
Speaker 1: we're doing something, and then they'd plead out. That was
24:36
Speaker 1: the plan the whole time. Combined with a month's long
24:42
Speaker 1: campaign by The New York Times and The Washington Post
24:44
Speaker 1: to present the medical examiner Barbara Sampson's finding of suicide
24:49
Speaker 1: as established fact and dismiss all questions about Epstein's death
24:53
Speaker 1: as wild conspiracy theories, Barr's intervention points to a continued
24:57
Speaker 1: effort to prevent a public airing of Epstein's activities, his
25:02
Speaker 1: connections to prominent political and corporate figures, and the highly
25:06
Speaker 1: suspicious circumstances of his death. And now, remember, folks, this
25:11
Speaker 1: is the world socialist website. Right, We're not on some
25:16
Speaker 1: you know, crazy uh wild hate the New York Times
25:20
Speaker 1: type website. But there's a lot of people on both
25:24
Speaker 1: sides of the aisle, people who are politically bent one
25:28
Speaker 1: way or the other, that are starting to understand though,
25:31
Speaker 1: what's going on here, and what's going on is the
25:36
Speaker 1: big joke is on all of us. It doesn't matter
25:38
Speaker 1: what your political affiliation is. The fact that they can't
25:42
Speaker 1: even do this investigation within this area of a prison,
25:49
Speaker 1: a jail cell, for fuck's sake, and come back with
25:52
Speaker 1: an actual timeline of everything that occurred should make everybody
25:57
Speaker 1: think that what's going on here is suspect. And me personally,
26:03
Speaker 1: I am more than willing to believe the man killed himself.
26:06
Speaker 1: In fact, I think that that's probably what happened, not
26:09
Speaker 1: because it was his own idea. Like I said, I
26:12
Speaker 1: think that a message was passed to him and he
26:15
Speaker 1: decided it was in his best interest to clip himself.
26:20
Speaker 1: And nothing Bill Barr has said, or evidence that has
26:24
Speaker 1: been presented by Bill Barr or anyone else has pushed
26:29
Speaker 1: me from that ledge even one iota. If you'd like
26:34
Speaker 1: to contact me, you can do that at Bobby Kapuci
26:36
Speaker 1: at ProtonMail dot com. That's Bobby c ap you Cci
26:42
Speaker 1: at ProtonMail dot com. You can also find me on
26:46
Speaker 1: Twitter at Bobby Underscore c ap you Cci. All of
26:52
Speaker 1: the links that go with this episode can be found
26:55
Speaker 1: in the description box. All right, folks, I'll be back
26:58
Speaker 1: later on and we'll pick up where we left off,
27:03
Speaker 1: back to the Epstein chronicles. Hope everybody had a great
27:07
Speaker 1: weekend out there, and hopefully you all have a fantastic
27:10
Speaker 1: Monday on deck. Today, we're gonna go back and talk
27:15
Speaker 1: a little bit more about Jeffrey Epstein's death in jail
27:18
Speaker 1: and how the lead lawyer at the time, Doug Shown,
27:22
Speaker 1: didn't think it was suicide. Now, we've talked about this before,
27:26
Speaker 1: but we haven't talked about this in quite some time.
27:30
Speaker 1: And since we've been talking about what happened in the
27:33
Speaker 1: jail with Nicholas Tartaglioni, I thought that it would be
27:36
Speaker 1: fitting to add this episode to the catalog and discuss
27:41
Speaker 1: what Doug Shown had to say once again. So let's
27:45
Speaker 1: just dive right into this article from the Daily Mail
27:48
Speaker 1: and let's see what's going on. Headline exclusive it was
27:53
Speaker 1: a homicide, but I don't know who killed him. Jeffrey
27:56
Speaker 1: Epstein's lawyer says his pedophile client was upbeat, excited about
28:00
Speaker 1: strategy to clear his name, but lived in fear of
28:04
Speaker 1: a violent former cellmate. Huh, I wonder who that could be?
28:09
Speaker 1: Could that possibly be Nicholas Tartaglioni. You know the guy
28:13
Speaker 1: who was in jail for quadruple murder, A guy who
28:17
Speaker 1: was fired from the police force, A guy who beat
28:20
Speaker 1: up a local journalist. You know that guy. Oh yeah,
28:24
Speaker 1: that's the guy they're talking about. I ask you once again,
28:29
Speaker 1: what was Jeffrey Epstein doing in a jail cell with
28:32
Speaker 1: Nicholas Tartaglioni. Nobody can answer that question, and nobody has.
28:39
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Dan Bates and it was
28:43
Speaker 1: originally published on May twentieth. Excuse me, May twenty sixth
28:48
Speaker 1: of twenty twenty. Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself because
28:53
Speaker 1: he was preparing a multi layered legal and media strategy
28:57
Speaker 1: to fight his case the late Pedophiles lawyer, as claimed
29:00
Speaker 1: David Shoon, who Epstein asked to lead his legal team
29:03
Speaker 1: in his final days, said he planned to mount legal
29:06
Speaker 1: and factual defenses to the sex trafficking allegations against him.
29:11
Speaker 1: During a five hour meeting with Epstein nine days before
29:14
Speaker 1: his death, shown said Epstein was upbeat and excited and
29:18
Speaker 1: looking forward to clearing his name. Now we have heard
29:21
Speaker 1: this from a multitude of people, several of the lawyers, psychologists,
29:26
Speaker 1: people who were talking to him around this time, and
29:29
Speaker 1: nobody said anything about him being suicidal. Now, does that
29:34
Speaker 1: mean that he wasn't suicidal? Of course not. Maybe he
29:38
Speaker 1: was good at hiding it. Maybe he didn't realize he
29:40
Speaker 1: was suicidal to the day that he was very possible. Again,
29:45
Speaker 1: I haven't discounted anything here because I don't know. I
29:49
Speaker 1: wasn't in that jail cell, and I haven't seen any
29:51
Speaker 1: evidence that would really point me in the direction of
29:55
Speaker 1: diving in one way or the other. So this is
29:57
Speaker 1: a question that is still unanswered and still worthy of
30:00
Speaker 1: discussion all of these years later. But according to the
30:05
Speaker 1: people around him, he certainly was not suicidal, and that
30:08
Speaker 1: includes psychologists and his lawyer. But Epstein was in a
30:14
Speaker 1: dangerous situation in jail and suggested other prisoners were considering
30:18
Speaker 1: blackmailing them. They would see him on TV inside the
30:21
Speaker 1: prison and tell Epstein seventy million dollar mansion huh Shan
30:25
Speaker 1: speaks out in a new documentary about Epstein about Epstein's
30:29
Speaker 1: death called Who Killed Jeffrey Epstein. The first episode began
30:33
Speaker 1: streaming online on an Investigation Discovery on Monday and will
30:37
Speaker 1: be premiered on TV on May thirty first, So you
30:40
Speaker 1: can obviously find this on the Investigation Discovery channel. It's
30:43
Speaker 1: been out for a while now. Decent documentary touches on
30:47
Speaker 1: things we've been talking about for quite some time. And
30:50
Speaker 1: you know, all of these documentaries are pretty much the same.
30:52
Speaker 1: They're just a gateway, right. They opened the doorway for
30:56
Speaker 1: you to dig a little bit deeper and go a
30:59
Speaker 1: little bit further if that's what you're inclined to do.
31:03
Speaker 1: The three part series questions whether or not the financier
31:06
Speaker 1: pedophile took his own life last August while awaiting trial
31:10
Speaker 1: on sex trafficking charges, as the official autopsy claimed. Epstein's
31:15
Speaker 1: death sparked a slew of conspiracy theories, which were bolstered
31:18
Speaker 1: by the apparent failures at the prison where he was
31:21
Speaker 1: being held. See for me, that's the crux of it.
31:24
Speaker 1: I don't know how you can call something a conspiracy
31:26
Speaker 1: theory when all of these things happened to fail at
31:29
Speaker 1: the very same time, and there's no logical explanation coming
31:34
Speaker 1: from the authorities. Now, if the authorities had lodged a
31:37
Speaker 1: logical explanation for what happened here, it was operator error.
31:41
Speaker 1: Somebody erased it on purpose. You know, I'd be much
31:44
Speaker 1: more inclined to listen to what's going on as far
31:47
Speaker 1: as their narrative. But the stuff that they're trying to
31:50
Speaker 1: tell us, it just doesn't seem feasible that all of
31:53
Speaker 1: this stuff could happen at the same time. And until
31:58
Speaker 1: they provide something more, they're not gonna have too many
32:02
Speaker 1: people believe what they have to say, especially when you
32:05
Speaker 1: have guys like Doug shown out here talking so confidently
32:08
Speaker 1: as if Jeffrey Epstein did not take his own life.
32:14
Speaker 1: The guards of the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan allegedly
32:17
Speaker 1: did not check on them all night, and the cameras
32:20
Speaker 1: outside of his cell were not working. So you have
32:23
Speaker 1: redundancies right in prison. You have guards, you have other guards,
32:27
Speaker 1: you're supposed to have their boss sergeant, and then you
32:29
Speaker 1: have the cameras keeping an eye on everything. Now, what
32:32
Speaker 1: are the chances? Okay, if you're a statistician out there,
32:36
Speaker 1: somebody who's good at math, which I am not. What
32:39
Speaker 1: are the odds of all of that happening and occurring
32:42
Speaker 1: at the same time. I would think that they would
32:45
Speaker 1: be astronomical. You mean to tell me that the backup
32:48
Speaker 1: system to the backup system failed, and all the other
32:52
Speaker 1: redundancies you have in place, none of them could catch this,
32:55
Speaker 1: and they kept failing afterwards after he was already found dead.
33:01
Speaker 1: That sure is a pretty big leap. And it's pretty
33:03
Speaker 1: amazing that someone would call anyone a conspiracy theorists because
33:06
Speaker 1: they have some questions surrounding how this clown died. Shown
33:13
Speaker 1: is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and has been giving Epstein
33:16
Speaker 1: sporadic legal advice for eleven years before his arrest last July.
33:20
Speaker 1: He claims that despite his vast finances, Epstein's legal team
33:24
Speaker 1: was in turmoil and he sought out Shown to lead
33:27
Speaker 1: them to trial. Speaking to Delhimail dot com, Shown even
33:31
Speaker 1: called Jay Lefkowitz, one of Epstein's longtime lawyers, a numskull. Yeah,
33:36
Speaker 1: I could agree with that. Left. Kowitz, by the way,
33:38
Speaker 1: is the one who confirmed that Jeffrey Epstein gave millions
33:42
Speaker 1: and millions of dollars to the Clinton Global Initiative to
33:45
Speaker 1: help it get off the ground. It'd be nice to
33:48
Speaker 1: have some questions surrounding that, huh. Central to Epstein's legal
33:53
Speaker 1: strategy was that the prosecution in New York was the
33:57
Speaker 1: same one from two thousand and eight for which he
33:59
Speaker 1: agreed to a plea deal with federal prosecutors. Sean explained,
34:03
Speaker 1: Epstein asked me to take over the whole case, and
34:06
Speaker 1: that they discussed factual rebuttals. As we know now, that
34:10
Speaker 1: would have never worked out for them as far as
34:12
Speaker 1: their defense in this case, trying to use what happened
34:16
Speaker 1: in Florida to defend them in New York, it was
34:19
Speaker 1: never going to work out for them. Now. It might
34:21
Speaker 1: have given them a bit of an umbrella down in Florida,
34:24
Speaker 1: but if you're committing these crimes and other districts, that
34:28
Speaker 1: deal doesn't follow you to these other districts. It's not
34:30
Speaker 1: carte blanche to go out and commit whatever crimes you want.
34:36
Speaker 1: He said. People who were coming forward he'd never seen
34:39
Speaker 1: before and had nothing to do with. I thought he
34:42
Speaker 1: was getting killed in the media. When he could respond,
34:44
Speaker 1: he should at least explain and respond. There was a
34:47
Speaker 1: miserable failure to do so and his lawyers were dysfunctional.
34:51
Speaker 1: The plan to push back including appealing to the public
34:54
Speaker 1: sense of fairness because Epstein had not been formally accused
34:57
Speaker 1: of anything since two thousand and five. Again, the strategy
35:01
Speaker 1: was to try and sugarcoat what he did, not that
35:04
Speaker 1: he was innocent, not that he didn't do any of this,
35:06
Speaker 1: but let's try and find some technicalities and loopholes here
35:09
Speaker 1: to try and maneuver ourselves, and let's try and pressure
35:13
Speaker 1: the public into thinking Epstein's being unfairly persecuted. Give me
35:17
Speaker 1: a break. Sean wanted to talk about the political pressure
35:22
Speaker 1: that led to Epstein's arrest and the extortion attempts by
35:26
Speaker 1: survivors lawyers. In one case, a lawyer supposedly sent Epstein
35:30
Speaker 1: a letter demanding twenty five million dollars to make the
35:33
Speaker 1: survivor's claims go away. Epstein did not pay, So what's
35:37
Speaker 1: the big deal with that? I don't I don't understand.
35:39
Speaker 1: If he abused them and they're trying to get some
35:42
Speaker 1: dough out of him, that's the way this works. I mean,
35:45
Speaker 1: if we lived in a really just society, he'd be
35:47
Speaker 1: going to prison the first time he diddled somebody. But
35:51
Speaker 1: Unfortunately we know that, you know, these the men of
35:54
Speaker 1: always the only punishment they ever have is financially, they
35:58
Speaker 1: get hit with some penalties and shit. Very rarely to
36:01
Speaker 1: people like this go to jail. So of course, if
36:03
Speaker 1: you're abused by somebody like Epstein, you're gonna try and
36:06
Speaker 1: get some money out of the situation as well, and
36:08
Speaker 1: you should. It's no different than say you get abused
36:11
Speaker 1: by the church. That is pretty much your only recourse,
36:16
Speaker 1: right And the way people's lives are destroyed by these
36:19
Speaker 1: sexual assaults. Do you know how much money that it
36:22
Speaker 1: costs these folks to go to therapy and try and
36:24
Speaker 1: get their mind right after they had their whole lives
36:27
Speaker 1: destroyed by people like Epstein. So the whole money conversation
36:30
Speaker 1: is a bit ridiculous. Have you taken a look at
36:33
Speaker 1: the price to go see a psychiatrist lately? Sean said,
36:41
Speaker 1: at least I wanted people to report on the fact
36:43
Speaker 1: how much lawyers were making off this thing. I do
36:46
Speaker 1: hope that some people agree that some of these women
36:49
Speaker 1: were some of these women tricked him. I don't agree
36:51
Speaker 1: with that. Now, are there women out there that might
36:55
Speaker 1: have tried to use this situation and manipulate it for
36:58
Speaker 1: their own benefit. I'm sure there are, But when we're
37:01
Speaker 1: talking about a guy like Jeffrey Epstein and the fact
37:05
Speaker 1: that lawyers were making a lot of money off of
37:08
Speaker 1: this thing, there is no doubt about that. I've talked
37:10
Speaker 1: about the lawyers on both sides of this for quite
37:13
Speaker 1: some time and how I feel like it's been a
37:15
Speaker 1: big money grab for everybody involved. That goes for David
37:19
Speaker 1: Boys and his firm as well. Let's not forget that
37:24
Speaker 1: these lawyers, they have a job to do. They got
37:26
Speaker 1: to feed their families, right, They're trying to get paid.
37:29
Speaker 1: That's the motivation at the end of all of this,
37:31
Speaker 1: at the end of this rainbow, they're hoping for the
37:33
Speaker 1: pot of gold. During their five hour meeting at MCC
37:38
Speaker 1: on August first, Epstein and Shown had mapped out a
37:41
Speaker 1: strategy and he was upbeat and excited. Sean said, we
37:44
Speaker 1: were in the area where prisoners meet lawyers. At one point,
37:47
Speaker 1: a prison psychiatrist came in and asked me to leave
37:50
Speaker 1: so she could talk to Epstein on his own. They
37:53
Speaker 1: talked for five minutes, and he seemed relaxed. He was
37:56
Speaker 1: smiling as she left. He had plans to really fight this.
38:00
Speaker 1: He made arrange arrangements to hire me, And you don't
38:03
Speaker 1: hire a guy like Doug Shoon, or make arrangements to
38:06
Speaker 1: hire a guy like Doug Shoan if you're not going
38:08
Speaker 1: to fight the case, you don't just bring this guy
38:10
Speaker 1: on and then say to yourself, Oh, well, that's the
38:12
Speaker 1: end of it. I'm gonna kill myself. Shoan did not
38:17
Speaker 1: reveal the contents of his discussions with Epstein, but said
38:20
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell, his alleged Madam co conspirator, general all around scusbag,
38:25
Speaker 1: fellow child abuser, never came up. Epstein had a lot
38:29
Speaker 1: of powerful friends who did favors for who he did
38:32
Speaker 1: favors for, and Shoan was disappointed they did not offer
38:35
Speaker 1: to help him after his arrest. Imagine that. Imagine thinking
38:39
Speaker 1: that people should come to Jeffrey Epstein's rescue after his
38:42
Speaker 1: arrest because he did favors for them, and you see
38:45
Speaker 1: the danger of doing favors for somebody like Epstein in
38:48
Speaker 1: the first place. He said, I'd hope that Prince Andrew
38:53
Speaker 1: would be they the one guy who stood up and
38:56
Speaker 1: said he was a friend. I didn't know anything about it. Instead,
38:59
Speaker 1: the Duke did distance himself from Epstein in a BBC
39:02
Speaker 1: interview a few months after he died. When Shoan learned
39:06
Speaker 1: Epstein had been found dead, he immediately told his legal
39:08
Speaker 1: team to hire a renowned pathologist, Michael Boden, to be
39:13
Speaker 1: present for the autopsy. Boden was brought on board and
39:17
Speaker 1: concluded that Epstein's injuries were not consistent with suicide by hanging,
39:21
Speaker 1: as the New York Medical Examiner said. Instead, Boden believes
39:25
Speaker 1: the broken bone in Epstein's neck suggests he had been killed. Now,
39:30
Speaker 1: look again, I was not in this jail. Cell. I'm
39:32
Speaker 1: not one of these people that's going to sit here
39:34
Speaker 1: and tell you with concrete certainty one way or the
39:37
Speaker 1: other what happened here. I don't know, but I'll tell
39:42
Speaker 1: you what I certainly want to find out. And the
39:45
Speaker 1: fact that nobody's really talking about what happened here anymore
39:49
Speaker 1: is pretty crazy to me. We have a lot to
39:52
Speaker 1: go on, and the fact that this Tartaglioni clown is
39:56
Speaker 1: being pretty much looked at as a secondary person in
39:59
Speaker 1: the story, whereas I think he's a key player at
40:03
Speaker 1: least as far as what happened in this jail, is
40:06
Speaker 1: just mind boggling to me. How could people not find
40:08
Speaker 1: this absolutely bizarre? As Sean says in the documentary, I
40:16
Speaker 1: think it was a homicide, but I don't know who
40:18
Speaker 1: killed him. Sean said he was especially concerned about Epstein's
40:21
Speaker 1: former cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglioni, a hulking X cop accused of
40:26
Speaker 1: four murders. Now we're gonna talk more about Tartaglioni later
40:30
Speaker 1: on today I have a couple of more articles to
40:32
Speaker 1: talk about that goes a little bit deeper into his
40:34
Speaker 1: relationship with some other people. There was another ex cop
40:38
Speaker 1: that he was involved with, a man named the White Rhino,
40:41
Speaker 1: who ended up killing himself when the police pulled him
40:45
Speaker 1: over the FBI to arrest him, and it was found
40:48
Speaker 1: out later that he was connected to Tartaglioni and they
40:51
Speaker 1: were involved in some kind of drug deals together. So
40:54
Speaker 1: this goes a lot deeper with Tartaglioni, and he certainly
40:57
Speaker 1: has the makeup of somebody who was not scared to
41:00
Speaker 1: kill somebody or to threaten somebody. Tartaglioni. Tartaglioni was Epstein's
41:10
Speaker 1: cell mate during his first apparent suicide attempt on July
41:14
Speaker 1: twenty third, last year, and some reports suggested he beat
41:17
Speaker 1: Epstein up, a claim his lawyer strongly denied. Here's the
41:21
Speaker 1: thing for me. Okay, they're in a little ass jail
41:24
Speaker 1: cell together. Right picture this if you will. You have
41:27
Speaker 1: Tartaglioni and Epstein in a jail cell together. Okay. Now,
41:31
Speaker 1: according to Tartaglioni, he says, Jeffrey Epstein tried to kill himself. Well,
41:36
Speaker 1: they're in this cell together. How is it possible that
41:39
Speaker 1: Epstein could go through all of the steps of preparing
41:42
Speaker 1: to kill himself, getting a noose ready, tying it to
41:44
Speaker 1: the bedpost, and then attempting the act without Tartaglioni seeing him.
41:50
Speaker 1: Because Tartaglioni says he stopped Epstein from killing himself as
41:54
Speaker 1: Epstein was committing the act. So what did you just
41:56
Speaker 1: sit there as he was going through the process and
42:00
Speaker 1: watch him do it? See, it doesn't make sense to me.
42:02
Speaker 1: If he was going to stop Epstein from trying to
42:04
Speaker 1: kill himself, why would he wait for Epstein to actually
42:07
Speaker 1: try and commit the act. Wouldn't he stop him before
42:09
Speaker 1: the act, call for security, get a guard there, restrain
42:13
Speaker 1: him something. So he waits for him to try and
42:15
Speaker 1: commit suicide and then he restrains him. Huh, how does
42:19
Speaker 1: that make sense to anybody? Schon said. The first incident
42:26
Speaker 1: that happened, which the newspapers reported as a possible suicide attempt,
42:30
Speaker 1: Epstein didn't want to discuss any further. He told the
42:33
Speaker 1: prison officers he couldn't remember what happened. He didn't want
42:36
Speaker 1: to answer any more questions. Look, he didn't want to
42:38
Speaker 1: rat point blank, period. And he didn't want to rat
42:42
Speaker 1: because he figured he'd be in prison for a little
42:44
Speaker 1: bit longer. He didn't have any plans to kill himself,
42:47
Speaker 1: at least that's the way it looks to me. So
42:50
Speaker 1: he didn't want to rat on tartag Leoni for beating
42:52
Speaker 1: him up, because he figured he'd be in there for
42:54
Speaker 1: a long time and it would be even worse on
42:56
Speaker 1: him later on. Look, he was in a dayous situation.
43:01
Speaker 1: He was a very wealthy guy accused of sex offenses,
43:04
Speaker 1: stuck in with a guy accused of four murders. First
43:07
Speaker 1: of all, he shouldn't have been locked up in general population.
43:10
Speaker 1: That's reprehensible. He'd have guys who would watch the nightly
43:13
Speaker 1: news on the prison TV and say to him, seventy
43:16
Speaker 1: million dollar mansion. Huh. I've been through this with other clients,
43:20
Speaker 1: and I told him to keep an eye on this
43:22
Speaker 1: and tell me if anyone was extorting him. So, look,
43:26
Speaker 1: when we talk about what happened in that jail cell,
43:30
Speaker 1: especially the first night, nothing they say, at least in
43:33
Speaker 1: my opinion, has been logical. And their explanation for what
43:40
Speaker 1: happened in this jail cell certainly hasn't been logical. And
43:43
Speaker 1: it's not just me saying it. You have guys like
43:45
Speaker 1: Doug shown, Michael Bodden, and a whole bunch of other
43:47
Speaker 1: people who are saying the same thing. And if they
43:50
Speaker 1: want to kill all of this suspicion or as they
43:53
Speaker 1: call it, conspiracy there, all they have to do is
43:56
Speaker 1: be a bit more transparent. But they can't even muster
43:59
Speaker 1: that up ken they all right, folks, that's gonna do
