- 3:27Speaker 1: It is September third.
- 3:31Speaker 3: We are alive from each Q three. We are late
- 3:34Speaker 3: on the episode because yesterday was Labor Day and we're
- 3:38Speaker 3: good Americans and we don't work on Labor Day.
- 3:40Speaker 1: We respecting our union brothers and sisters exactly, and the
- 3:44Speaker 1: men and women who work exactly, the trans folk that were.
- 3:48Speaker 3: And the trans folk that work, and the black folk
- 3:50Speaker 3: that work. Okay, we're supporting everyone that we're purple folk,
- 3:54Speaker 3: that exactly. I don't care if you're black, blue, purple, orange.
- 3:58Speaker 3: We support that you're working.
- 3:59Speaker 1: That's a facts. But I feel like I haven't seen
- 4:01Speaker 1: you boys in a while.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I know, I haven't seen you guys in forever.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I haven't seen you fucking fox in forever months. So
- 4:07Speaker 1: good to be back.
- 4:08Speaker 3: It's crazy that people didn't realize that we banked episodes
- 4:10Speaker 3: since May.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Summer off we look if we look completely different, but
- 4:16Speaker 1: if Sas came in with a grizzled beard.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I've been in Wyoming for the last three months.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah, just starting a militia, just arming the good people
- 4:27Speaker 1: of Cheyenne.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I was looking into that hole, that whole Idaho situation
- 4:31Speaker 3: in northern Idaho. Have you're right about that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Oh the top of Idaho. Yeah, where it's exclusively Nazis.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all Nazis.
- 4:39Speaker 1: And it's like more than you even think.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's more than you expect. Well, it's like the
- 4:43Speaker 3: apparently it's like the politicians are Nazis too. Wow, it's crazy.
- 4:47Speaker 1: It's super respectable.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I was looking into it because I wanted to go
- 4:50Speaker 3: fishing in Idaho. They got a beautiful salmon hatch out
- 4:53Speaker 3: there in the spring, and I was just begging to
- 4:55Speaker 3: get out there. But that's a Jew. You know, that's
- 4:57Speaker 3: gonna be tough for me.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Yeah, you'd have to join the Aryan Brotherhood.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Someone commented on My Don't Tell and they said, is
- 5:06Speaker 3: this kid a trust fun baby or a Jew? And
- 5:09Speaker 3: I replied, I said both.
- 5:13Speaker 1: The perfect crossovers.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Just kidding.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I didn't reply, but Your Don't Tell shit went incredible.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it did well. I was happy with it. It was
- 5:22Speaker 3: pretty majority positive feedback.
- 5:25Speaker 1: And it got fucking incredible amounts of views.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Yeah I did, Okay.
- 5:29Speaker 1: The only one with better pace of views was that
- 5:32Speaker 1: that old fuck.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Yeah, he's killer.
- 5:34Speaker 2: There was an old woman on mine who blew up.
- 5:37Speaker 3: The Yeah, there's a lady that went right before me
- 5:40Speaker 3: who her tiktoks are getting like five million likes per clip.
- 5:44Speaker 1: The one joke that that old guy had was like,
- 5:46Speaker 1: the average life expectancy for men is seventy seven, and
- 5:52Speaker 1: I'm seventy eight, but the average life expectancy for women's
- 5:55Speaker 1: eighty one. So I'm thinking if I transition, it's pretty funny.
- 6:03Speaker 1: That's a great, pretty fucking good joke.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Yeah. His has like over a million views.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the key to get some life experience.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I know, I gotta keep doing this shit for sixty
- 6:13Speaker 3: more years to.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Get a million, or just make yourself look old. Are
- 6:18Speaker 2: definitely on the hunt for that.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Yeah you're doing it.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Yeah it was good. I was happy. It's definitely weight
- 6:25Speaker 3: off my shoulders getting something out, so it's like.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yeah, it's great, it's really good. I was happy with it.
- 6:33Speaker 3: It was pretty much all good feedback. There were some
- 6:36Speaker 3: nasty comments that brought me down pretty hard.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Specifically, the stuff about.
- 6:43Speaker 3: My posture doesn't bother me at all because it's like, yeah,
- 6:46Speaker 3: I have bad posture. It's like I don't give a ship. Yeah,
- 6:48Speaker 3: your shit's like what am I gonna do? Like people
- 6:50Speaker 3: are like, oh, he as bad. But it's also it's
- 6:52Speaker 3: weird because all the people that say like all the
- 6:56Speaker 3: bad comments are people that are my fans.
- 7:00Speaker 2: How do you know that though?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Because I click on their profile and it says follow
- 7:03Speaker 3: back and they're the ones that are like delivery sucks.
- 7:07Speaker 3: And then you on the YouTube and people are like
- 7:09Speaker 3: unbelievable delivery, and I'm like, oh, I don't really know
- 7:12Speaker 3: what to think.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Do you think that your name is Adam because you
- 7:15Speaker 1: have posture like you got a rib removed?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:18Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yeah, biblical biblical, very biblical biblical.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You already know what the fuck it is. But I
- 7:26Speaker 1: was I was pretty proud of says to be. I
- 7:30Speaker 1: was like happy for him, yeah, and like prideful to be.
- 7:33Speaker 3: It is weird to work on jokes for like four
- 7:35Speaker 3: I was talking to Francis to work on jokes for
- 7:37Speaker 3: like four years straight, and then all the comments just
- 7:39Speaker 3: be about your posture.
- 7:42Speaker 1: But that's better than your jokes.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Yeah. I also think if you you clean up your posture,
- 7:48Speaker 2: they'll find another thing. Yeah, it's not gonna just be
- 7:51Speaker 2: about the jokes and stuff.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, I have to say, I forgive my voice.
- 7:55Speaker 3: It's a little horse you got after and drinking.
- 8:00Speaker 1: The pictures that you sent us were a damn balck
- 8:03Speaker 1: and all.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I've been drinking to a point where I'm ready to
- 8:06Speaker 2: join sass.
- 8:07Speaker 3: I'm drunk right now in sobriety really, because I was.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Drunk, then, I was drunk, then drunk.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Right now I'm drunk right now, drunk right now.
- 8:20Speaker 1: What's going on? Has it been fun or it's just.
- 8:24Speaker 2: I'm ready to shut it down?
- 8:25Speaker 1: Man?
- 8:25Speaker 3: Oh, summer just ended?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yeah, everyone says that you get labor.
- 8:29Speaker 3: It hasn't ended. It's not over though, right it's Scember
- 8:33Speaker 3: to September twenty second.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I don't know the weather would say otherwise. It's cool.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It's a little brisk today.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It happened like I went full fall my outfit.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I could tell the socks.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Show off your socks, boots.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Let's see the socks.
- 8:45Speaker 2: The socks are strike.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Say, brother, how much did you drop on those socks?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Probably like three bucks?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Really they look like twenty five dollars, thirty dollars pairpend
- 8:56Speaker 1: smart a smart wolf.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I don't know. No, there's just probably like Banana Republic
- 9:02Speaker 2: bin socks.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Dude, that's the way to go. Yeah, these hands twenty pack,
- 9:08Speaker 3: eight bucks, twenty pairs.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Of So that's the one where a little tiny thread
- 9:12Speaker 2: comes loose and somehow hold twenty pairs turn into flos.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Somehow your shirt's coming on.
- 9:20Speaker 3: It is crazy. You literally pull one string and then
- 9:22Speaker 3: the entire sock to start.
- 9:24Speaker 2: They're all connected.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Just bagg here.
- 9:28Speaker 3: But it's like, dude, Nike socks are like it's like
- 9:31Speaker 3: thirty dollars for like two pairs, dude, sock.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Nike socks are like your thumbprint. Every single one of
- 9:37Speaker 1: them is a little bit different. Oh yeah, so you
- 9:39Speaker 1: can't pair them up. It's impossible. It's like someone's eye
- 9:42Speaker 1: or like the nose of a dog.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I'm a fan of the darn Tufts. They're pretty expensive
- 9:46Speaker 2: for basic socks, but they never break down. They're great.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I don't know, if I don't know, if I'm familiar
- 9:53Speaker 3: with you actually.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Really like they make a good you know, hiking or.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Out socks, like sock to wear. That's like ninety percent
- 10:00Speaker 3: of my socks are smart Wall.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yes, smart Wolves is a very similar type of product
- 10:05Speaker 2: to smart Wolf.
- 10:06Speaker 3: If I see a pair of smart wall at a store,
- 10:07Speaker 3: I'm instantly picking them up.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Well, speaking of I was in Morocco and.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, let's get the fuck into it.
- 10:14Speaker 2: And they had a store that was selling sneakers that
- 10:18Speaker 2: were fakes. Yeah, And I thought to myself, I should
- 10:22Speaker 2: see if I can get Sass a pair of the
- 10:24Speaker 2: white Adidas sambas that you so desperately wanted in Cleveland. Yes.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And I walked in and these guys are relentless.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Man.
- 10:33Speaker 2: If you even so much as raise an eyebrow or
- 10:36Speaker 2: peek their way, they're on you like glue. Yeah. So
- 10:39Speaker 2: I go in and I said, you have the white
- 10:40Speaker 2: sambas and he goes, yes, my friend, yes, my friend, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, come,
- 10:44Speaker 2: come come, and he starts showing me. And I found
- 10:48Speaker 2: the right pair. But I said, do you have a
- 10:51Speaker 2: size US men's four? That's my friend's foot And he
- 10:58Speaker 2: was like, I'm sundy four.
- 11:01Speaker 1: You have a size I could fit at the bottom
- 11:02Speaker 1: of a stilt.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, like if you had a pet hog that
- 11:08Speaker 2: you wanted to put four little miniature sort of like
- 11:12Speaker 2: peg leg. Yeah, like what you'd imagine if you had
- 11:15Speaker 2: an ornament shoe for your Christmas tree. That size. I
- 11:21Speaker 2: want two of those. No, I said, I need a nine.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I need Amen's US nine. And he pulls a pair
- 11:28Speaker 2: out from a box and it was listed as a
- 11:34Speaker 2: US seven point five and I was like, well, that's
- 11:39Speaker 2: not going to work. I need a nine. He goes,
- 11:41Speaker 2: all the sizes are wrong on the tags. Here look
- 11:45Speaker 2: and then he pulled out like a shoe that was
- 11:48Speaker 2: double the size and it said that that was like
- 11:52Speaker 2: an eight and a half. That's crazy and it would
- 11:54Speaker 2: have been too big for me. And I, you know,
- 11:56Speaker 2: I have much bigger feet than Yeah, so normal size
- 11:59Speaker 2: human feet I do. I mean mine are in proportion
- 12:02Speaker 2: to my height and body. Whereas sasses feet were dipped
- 12:06Speaker 2: in some sort.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Of they were wrapped.
- 12:09Speaker 3: They literally just ink. When I hit thirteen, I peeked
- 12:13Speaker 3: in feet size at thirteen. I've literally been a size
- 12:17Speaker 3: nine since I was thirteen years old.
- 12:18Speaker 2: It makes me wonder because remember when they talked about
- 12:20Speaker 2: how if you started lifting weights when you were a
- 12:22Speaker 2: kid it would stunt your growth. Did you just do
- 12:24Speaker 2: a lot of.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Like toe curls or I was just always on my feet.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Were you wearing those ankle weights? Around.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it was because you were waiting tables.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I was running around fool steps. Yeah, because I did
- 12:36Speaker 3: track when I was young.
- 12:39Speaker 2: All jokes aside. So then he pulled out this next
- 12:41Speaker 2: size up that was way it was. It was bigger,
- 12:44Speaker 2: and it was like the size was completely off. And
- 12:47Speaker 2: I said, well, my friend is somewhat particular about the
- 12:51Speaker 2: shoes that he puts on his feet, and I can't
- 12:53Speaker 2: get him the wrong size. And he goes, trust me,
- 12:56Speaker 2: these are nine. Yeah, And I was like, there's no
- 12:58Speaker 2: way that you know, there's no system here, because then
- 13:01Speaker 2: he pulled out another pair that said it was like
- 13:03Speaker 2: a size fourteen and they were even smaller, and I
- 13:06Speaker 2: was like, dude, there's no rhyme or reason to these tags.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Obviously I know it's fake, but uh, you know, I
- 13:11Speaker 2: need to know that it's the right size for my friend.
- 13:13Speaker 2: These are not for me. And he was like, do
- 13:16Speaker 2: you have a picture of your friend's feet?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Would you probably like the last podcast you were on
- 13:23Speaker 1: the end, like we probably could have zoomed.
- 13:25Speaker 3: He was just gonna eyeball it what he was just
- 13:27Speaker 3: gonna eyeball, I don't know what he.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Was gonna do. He was desperate to sell me.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Yeah, the shoes. That's hilarious.
- 13:33Speaker 2: So I gave up and I had to walk out,
- 13:35Speaker 2: and he was, I mean, he was fully chasing me
- 13:38Speaker 2: with little sambas on his hands, being like, come back,
- 13:43Speaker 2: come back.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I have the right, I have the right make the
- 13:45Speaker 1: size for you. Yeah, yeah, we make them fresh.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Shoes, fake sambas, I said, fake sambas. These shoes are
- 13:53Speaker 3: like eighty dollars.
- 13:53Speaker 2: That was my point. I made up my mind that
- 13:56Speaker 2: if I were to buy you a gift, I would
- 13:58Speaker 2: just get you the right reels ambas.
- 14:00Speaker 3: And what the fake one seventy dollars? We should, by
- 14:03Speaker 3: the way, we should do that together. We should get
- 14:05Speaker 3: him a pair of the on it do a joint
- 14:08Speaker 3: gift or sas. I mean, I'm growing into the black ones.
- 14:11Speaker 3: I know people don't like them, Like a lot of
- 14:13Speaker 3: people have been hitting me up, being like those suck
- 14:15Speaker 3: I hate you, but I actually don't hate these.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Are you serious? Yeah? Boy? Am I glad I didn't
- 14:20Speaker 2: buy you the whites.
- 14:21Speaker 3: No, I would definitely wear the whites.
- 14:23Speaker 1: So you gotta get them the whites.
- 14:24Speaker 2: We should get them.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Let's just throw those on a fucking oh like power lining.
- 14:29Speaker 3: That's good. That's good. Just make them.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Every time Amy Schumer steals a sass joke, we throw
- 14:36Speaker 2: another pair of his shoes.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Yes they Oh that's another problem, dude, is that all
- 14:41Speaker 3: of our fans comment and they're like, shumor did this bit,
- 14:45Speaker 3: And then people that aren't, people that don't listen to
- 14:47Speaker 3: every single episode of our podcast are probably like, damn,
- 14:50Speaker 3: this guy's stealing jokes from Amy Schumer. It's just fuck
- 14:55Speaker 3: it fucks me.
- 14:56Speaker 1: No fucking bits. Engagement, it's engagement. That's what the mean
- 15:01Speaker 1: girls taught us that as long as people are commenting.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah, even if they're commenting the meanest thing.
- 15:05Speaker 1: They hate, most hateful, nastiest things. Was there anything else
- 15:08Speaker 1: that was like particularly hurtful that.
- 15:10Speaker 3: People said, No, nothing really crazy. I mean it was
- 15:13Speaker 3: like the standard. They'd be like a handful of people
- 15:15Speaker 3: that'd be like you suck, I hate you, and then
- 15:17Speaker 3: I'd look at their account and they're just like their
- 15:19Speaker 3: names like stooly Rob or something like that. It was
- 15:23Speaker 3: all it's all just barstool people like Carl guys. Yeah. Yeah,
- 15:27Speaker 3: but also I mean, like in and also a lot
- 15:30Speaker 3: of the people that listen to our podcast and also
- 15:33Speaker 3: YAK fans and stuff. Really liked it and we're very
- 15:35Speaker 3: nice about it.
- 15:36Speaker 1: So well, congratulations. Hopefully it skyrockets ticket sales and it
- 15:41Speaker 1: is the perfect appetizer to Francis's hour long special.
- 15:47Speaker 3: You know when is that coming out? Don't you should
- 15:51Speaker 3: have packaged artists together.
- 15:53Speaker 2: That's a good idea.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Yeah, like all eye opened, but it's like a completely
- 15:57Speaker 3: different backdrop. You should have just stitch them together.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah together.
- 16:02Speaker 2: The France gotch special? Damn?
- 16:05Speaker 1: How was tell us more about your trip, man, I've
- 16:07Speaker 1: find Morocco so intoxicating, the idea of it so foreign.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Were you at bazaars? Did you sit on rug did you?
- 16:14Speaker 2: I did? I bought some rugs. I bought some rugs
- 16:18Speaker 2: and then I was yeah, in the Medina and the Souk.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I don't really know what Medina means. The old city.
- 16:26Speaker 2: There's like this old walled city in Marrakesh, which is
- 16:29Speaker 2: where all the craziness is. And it's long kind of
- 16:34Speaker 2: tunnelly walkways that are covered with so many stalls selling
- 16:39Speaker 2: the same shit, you know, trinkets and light fixtures and rugs,
- 16:45Speaker 2: lots of rugs, and then fake bullshit. I bought a
- 16:48Speaker 2: bunch of fake white stuff from Prada Ormez all that
- 16:53Speaker 2: stuff for this golf tournament that I played in on
- 16:57Speaker 2: Fisher's Island this past weekend.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Isn't that like them most exclusive golf course in America?
- 17:02Speaker 2: It's one of them to the top ten.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Or you're just basing that off of the text message
- 17:06Speaker 3: that Francis He told us.
- 17:09Speaker 2: That, Yes, it's a really exclusive place.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you said it was like the best golf tournament
- 17:16Speaker 3: or some ship my best course.
- 17:18Speaker 2: It's one of the it's one of the best courses.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I mean, it's amazing course. And then one day a
- 17:21Speaker 2: year they just make it into this, they make it
- 17:24Speaker 2: into this sort of circus type thing.
- 17:27Speaker 1: The picture you sent was like the infield of the Preakness,
- 17:30Speaker 1: Like people were just ship faced. All the women were
- 17:34Speaker 1: dressed up as helpers. Yeah, it was amazing.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I almost feel weird talking about it. I think there's
- 17:42Speaker 2: like an air of secrecy about it.
- 17:44Speaker 1: So bohemian groves.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not even a poor person.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You just drive a golf ball into the chest of
- 17:53Speaker 1: a poor person.
- 17:54Speaker 2: It is on an island and the only way to
- 17:56Speaker 2: get there is via one of those old wooden ships
- 17:58Speaker 2: that has slaves rowing, and you used your nine iron
- 18:02Speaker 2: to whip them against the current.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Not even African slaves, though, white slaves, criminals, white slaves
- 18:09Speaker 1: who couldn't pay their debt, shoplifters from Walmart toy shoplifted
- 18:13Speaker 1: excess of twenty five hundred dollars, the riff raff.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, forgotten, damn flea bitten hordes.
- 18:19Speaker 1: That sounds like a fucking blast.
- 18:21Speaker 2: It was really fun.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I mean the picture you had, the twinkle in your
- 18:24Speaker 1: eye of somebody who was having as much fun as
- 18:27Speaker 1: a human can have.
- 18:28Speaker 2: It's really good.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I was a twinkle that I have. A man who's
- 18:30Speaker 3: on ecstasy.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Had to be I had to put that in my past.
- 18:38Speaker 1: He had a candy necklace with little extasy pills on it,
- 18:41Speaker 1: and half of them were bitten off like cheerios.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Couldn't I couldn't use my hands to eat it, and
- 18:47Speaker 2: I would take a little bite of the top half
- 18:49Speaker 2: with my teeth and then clamp down and the other
- 18:52Speaker 2: half of which meant we were gonna fu Yeah exactly.
- 18:56Speaker 2: But a lot of boys were fucked that day. Uh.
- 19:00Speaker 2: We were Michael Ruben's White Party. My team everyone goes
- 19:03Speaker 2: in costume and so we were white party. That's why
- 19:06Speaker 2: I was wearing all that fake.
- 19:07Speaker 1: White shit amazing. But by the time you had taken
- 19:11Speaker 1: the picture that that shirt was no more.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yeah, they told me to take it off. So I'm
- 19:16Speaker 2: one of the holes of tarps off. Tarps off. All
- 19:22Speaker 2: weekend we went full college. I mean, we really did.
- 19:25Speaker 2: It was awesome. It was playing a lot of beer
- 19:26Speaker 2: pong at night, and I don't know, it's super fun.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I haven't done something like that in a while. It
- 19:30Speaker 2: felt good.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I'm happy for you. That sounds like a fucking blast.
- 19:33Speaker 2: But I'm very hollow now.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But you're just dipping into the reserves of fun. You're
- 19:38Speaker 1: just borrowing fun from.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Yeah, at some point I'm going to run out, though.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You just build it up during the week.
- 19:44Speaker 2: That's true. I guess I should uh.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Just eating broccoli and fucking artichokes or something, right, sweat,
- 19:53Speaker 1: and then you'll be ready for some fun again.
- 19:54Speaker 2: I'll I went to Amsterdam.
- 19:58Speaker 1: It's like such a fucking sick trip.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Amsterdam is like, I can't speak highly enough of the place,
- 20:05Speaker 2: as everyone says when they go there, it's just a
- 20:07Speaker 2: city in order. Yeah, it's just a place that has
- 20:11Speaker 2: their fucking act together in every single way. And then
- 20:16Speaker 2: I didn't see a single homeless person the whole time.
- 20:19Speaker 2: They kill them, they throw them in the canals. Yeah,
- 20:22Speaker 2: like bicycles.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I've heard that. The nastiest part about Amsterdam is
- 20:30Speaker 1: the fact that you'll step off the curb and almost
- 20:32Speaker 1: get smoked by a thirty mile an hour biker who's
- 20:34Speaker 1: coming from a way you don't expect.
- 20:36Speaker 2: The bikers run the city. You are on edge walking
- 20:40Speaker 2: when you are walking along because you have to constantly
- 20:44Speaker 2: be looking in every direction. There are very few cars,
- 20:48Speaker 2: I mean truly very few cars.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:51Speaker 2: At one point I took an uber because I had
- 20:53Speaker 2: to go do a show and it was kind of
- 20:55Speaker 2: far away. And when I say that, this root that
- 21:00Speaker 2: the guy had to take to get me there, you know,
- 21:04Speaker 2: it looked like he was scribbling a child's drawing on
- 21:08Speaker 2: a map. It was like up, left, down, back this way,
- 21:11Speaker 2: because all they're all one ways, like you can't. So
- 21:17Speaker 2: the bikers run the town, But dude, they're not, Like
- 21:20Speaker 2: the bicyclists aren't douchebags. It's hot women in going out
- 21:28Speaker 2: at night, and nobody nobody wears a bike helmet. Not
- 21:32Speaker 2: a single person wears a bike helmet. Nobody's in biking attire.
- 21:35Speaker 2: At all. Now all the bikes are commuter bikes.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Jeans no, not even one leg.
- 21:43Speaker 2: No, they're all commuter bikes that are sort of old
- 21:46Speaker 2: antique metal bikes that are the classic Dutch style. People
- 21:51Speaker 2: have started buying.
- 21:52Speaker 1: E bikes and they hate it.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Well, a lot of the e bikes get stolen. So
- 21:58Speaker 2: people when they go sit a cafe, they changed their
- 22:01Speaker 2: bike up and then they removed the motor thing and
- 22:04Speaker 2: they bring that and they hold it in their hand
- 22:05Speaker 2: while they have a drink.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Interesting, that's a lot. Is it pretty flat there?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Like?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Are people are they breaking sweats? I feel like it'd
- 22:12Speaker 1: be shitty to.
- 22:13Speaker 2: It's easy to cruise around when you.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Come up actually wearing the hill everywhere.
- 22:18Speaker 1: It's the perfect country when they got it all figured out,
- 22:20Speaker 1: socialized medicine and downhill everywhere.
- 22:23Speaker 2: That's it. That's it all. It all funnels down into
- 22:28Speaker 2: a basin.
- 22:29Speaker 1: The hot ass school boys that you posted on your
- 22:31Speaker 1: story where.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Saw some good looking boys. I really wanted to crash
- 22:36Speaker 2: that party, but they didn't have it the next night.
- 22:37Speaker 2: It was only that night I should have known.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Better, explained the picture to the people that didn't see
- 22:41Speaker 1: your story.
- 22:42Speaker 2: It's it's like rush week for the fraternities of the
- 22:45Speaker 2: universities that are there, and they're the frats are all
- 22:49Speaker 2: in town homes along the canals.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Damn.
- 22:52Speaker 2: It seems as if, at least where I was staying,
- 22:57Speaker 2: everybody has a house that's on the canal. So I
- 23:03Speaker 2: don't I don't know that that's a more expensive piece
- 23:05Speaker 2: of real estate. Yeah, necessarily. And when I say that,
- 23:11Speaker 2: I mean it's the most beautiful city I've ever been to.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Well, it's one of like the cleanest cities and really clean.
- 23:17Speaker 2: And then that at night, I mean it was it
- 23:19Speaker 2: was pretty crammed with tourists during the day, but at
- 23:22Speaker 2: night it's silent and empty at least where I was,
- 23:29Speaker 2: and the canals light up. There's houseboats that have beautiful lights.
- 23:33Speaker 2: The lamps are all the same style and they kind
- 23:36Speaker 2: of bend around and the water reflects off the canal water.
- 23:40Speaker 2: The light reflects off the water, and it feels like
- 23:44Speaker 2: something out of time. And it was so beautiful and
- 23:48Speaker 2: so peaceful.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Did you weep?
- 23:50Speaker 2: Well, I just walked everywhere and would find myself stopping
- 23:54Speaker 2: and staring at the water and being reflective, and it
- 23:57Speaker 2: was it was great. That was the best part of it.
- 23:59Speaker 2: For me.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I want to know about how long were you there?
- 24:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it was there Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night,
- 24:07Speaker 2: three nights, three days, three nights.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I want to know about two things. I want to
- 24:10Speaker 1: know about the weed market there, and I want to
- 24:13Speaker 1: know about the hookers.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I had a bad experience with the we come.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I forgot that you did a show there.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Yeah I did, and shout out to all the people
- 24:21Speaker 2: who came out. I don't know. It was like forty
- 24:25Speaker 2: forty five people, not not a ton, but it was awesome.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Pretty solid for Amsterdam.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it was great. Shows were great.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I can't sell forty five tickets in like some major
- 24:35Speaker 3: cities in the US.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I mean, it was kind of a last minute thing.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I didn't promote it that much. And it was in
- 24:43Speaker 2: a funky part of town, that kind of the Brooklyn
- 24:45Speaker 2: of Amsterdam. You have to take a water taxi over,
- 24:49Speaker 2: which by the way, was free, and you ride your
- 24:51Speaker 2: bike onto the boat and then it goes and everybody
- 24:54Speaker 2: just wait. It's it's, you know, a three minute ride,
- 24:57Speaker 2: and then you get off on the other side and
- 24:58Speaker 2: you ride your bike right off.
- 25:00Speaker 1: It's free for everyone, saying how little we get from
- 25:04Speaker 1: our taxes in the United States and we just pay
- 25:07Speaker 1: so much and like fucking nothing is free. That's just
- 25:11Speaker 1: so nice.
- 25:13Speaker 2: So that was really fun.
- 25:15Speaker 1: And you said you had a bad experience at the
- 25:17Speaker 1: weed market.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Well, yeah, one night I went into one of the
- 25:20Speaker 2: coffee shops. They have this, you know, they're all called
- 25:23Speaker 2: coffee shops, but they also have literal coffee shops. There's
- 25:27Speaker 2: a huge coffee culture there, so it's very hard on
- 25:30Speaker 2: Google Maps to differentiate what's selling weed and what's selling espresso.
- 25:37Speaker 2: And I had a vision, a delusion that the weed
- 25:44Speaker 2: coffee shops in Amsterdam would be basically like these high
- 25:48Speaker 2: end figure mixology cocktail bars that you have in New York,
- 25:54Speaker 2: where you can sit in a leather chair, smoke up
- 25:58Speaker 2: a joint and play backgammon or like you know, sit
- 26:02Speaker 2: at a counter and talk to a bud tender or
- 26:05Speaker 2: whatever the fuck, and that it was like a different
- 26:07Speaker 2: culture and that it would be really cool and leisurely
- 26:10Speaker 2: and upscale and classy. That was not what I found.
- 26:15Speaker 2: The weed shops that I found over and over again
- 26:19Speaker 2: were kind of fucking trashy. Yea. They were places that
- 26:25Speaker 2: were called like you know, space room with neon lights,
- 26:31Speaker 2: and like, you know, they all sell like milkshakes and.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Yeah, they sell like Korean like Lais chips and ship
- 26:38Speaker 3: and yeah.
- 26:38Speaker 2: It was just trash and it's like they're playing kind
- 26:41Speaker 2: of like technics, you know. It was it was like
- 26:46Speaker 2: a bar that you'd find in Miami that's catering to
- 26:51Speaker 2: young people, tourists, I don't know, like five shots for
- 26:55Speaker 2: one dollar, that kind of thing. That was the coffee
- 26:59Speaker 2: shops that I I and large found. A few had
- 27:02Speaker 2: loungier areas, but they weren't I don't know. It wasn't
- 27:05Speaker 2: a place that I would have wanted to hang out.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Yeah, and you have to smoke the weed there, uh.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Yeah, allegedly. I couldn't figure that out. I mean, people,
- 27:16Speaker 2: what I learned is that the culture of people who
- 27:18Speaker 2: smoke weed in Amsterdam, they buy their weed and then
- 27:21Speaker 2: they go back to their home and then they smoke
- 27:23Speaker 2: it there. Not many people actually like stay out. It's
- 27:26Speaker 2: just sort of a touristy trap. And I got into
- 27:32Speaker 2: a little bit of a tiff with one of the
- 27:35Speaker 2: weed places.
- 27:36Speaker 3: One of the bud tenders.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Was walking back. I went to an amazing restaurant called Decass,
- 27:41Speaker 2: which is by the way everything there seems to be
- 27:44Speaker 2: like plant based or plant forward. They so, well, no, really,
- 27:49Speaker 2: I don't like vegetarian and vegan menus restaurants.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Really no, not as an appetizer. He doesn't like that
- 27:56Speaker 3: as a as a man.
- 27:57Speaker 2: I like healthy food, but I need prot I like
- 28:00Speaker 2: fish and meat.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I really did.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, when I go out to a restaurant, I
- 28:04Speaker 2: want that because you know, I can make myself a
- 28:06Speaker 2: fucking salad. Yeah. So I went, but that place was
- 28:10Speaker 2: pretty sick. And then I walked home from there, which
- 28:13Speaker 2: was like a used walk everywhere. It's forty five minute walk.
- 28:15Speaker 2: It was awesome. And I stopped in a neighborhood neighborhood
- 28:19Speaker 2: called Pipe and.
- 28:22Speaker 1: What was the name of the restaurant, dacas and from
- 28:25Speaker 1: Dacos yep.
- 28:27Speaker 2: And the Pipe is sort of like a Williams Burgie
- 28:31Speaker 2: type neighborhood.
- 28:32Speaker 1: You know, trying to get to.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it spelled d E space p I J p oh.
- 28:46Speaker 2: And I stopped. I walked into one of the coffee
- 28:49Speaker 2: shops that had high markings, and this was my first
- 28:51Speaker 2: time going into one, and I was the only guy
- 28:54Speaker 2: in there. And I went up to the guy and
- 28:57Speaker 2: I said, hey, I'd like the pre roll and he goes,
- 28:59Speaker 2: do you want one? I can't do it Dutch accent,
- 29:02Speaker 2: fucking try it.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Try it.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Do you want one? Do you want one with the
- 29:07Speaker 2: tobacco or just the pure weed? And I was like, oh,
- 29:12Speaker 2: just weed, thanks, and he goes all right, we only
- 29:15Speaker 2: have two options. Then it's either the uh, the sativa
- 29:21Speaker 2: or the Indica. And I was like, well, what's sort
- 29:24Speaker 2: of the top shelf we what's the best quality. He's like,
- 29:27Speaker 2: that's the one from the California weed here and it's
- 29:32Speaker 2: the Indica. And I was like, oh, your best weed
- 29:37Speaker 2: is from California. And he goes do you want it
- 29:40Speaker 2: or not? And I was like I'm sorry, yeah, I
- 29:45Speaker 2: guess I'll take it, and he goes okay, and he
- 29:50Speaker 2: sells me the joint and then I was like, by
- 29:52Speaker 2: the way, do you have any matches? And he goes
- 29:54Speaker 2: matches in America? Did they give you matches every time
- 29:58Speaker 2: you buy the weed? And I was like in some places, yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 2: I guess and he goes, well, then I might as
- 30:05Speaker 2: well plant the whole tree to replace the matches.
- 30:09Speaker 5: What?
- 30:11Speaker 2: And I go wait what? And he goes, you buy
- 30:16Speaker 2: a light it's better and I go you're telling me
- 30:19Speaker 2: you think environmentally that one box of matches is better
- 30:24Speaker 2: than an entire like plastic lighter that will end up
- 30:28Speaker 2: in landfill and never decompublics. And and I started like
- 30:34Speaker 2: arguing with this guy about the environmental implications for how
- 30:39Speaker 2: I was going to light my joint, and they were
- 30:43Speaker 2: giving me shit. And then there was a guy behind
- 30:46Speaker 2: me who had come in, a Dutch kid, who was like,
- 30:51Speaker 2: now chiming in about the matches issue.
- 30:54Speaker 3: What was he saying?
- 30:55Speaker 2: He was like, I can't believe that everywhere in America
- 30:59Speaker 2: they have matches. And I was like, well, you got
- 31:03Speaker 2: you go to a restaurant, they'll have like a souvenir
- 31:06Speaker 2: box that you can bring home. And I actually have
- 31:09Speaker 2: a bowl of matches that I collect, which I really like,
- 31:15Speaker 2: like a little token from everywhere I've been. I love matches.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I also someone told me, oh, he goes it's better
- 31:22Speaker 2: for the smoke when you light with the lither, and
- 31:25Speaker 2: I was like, no, it's actually not. I've effect I've
- 31:30Speaker 2: really been told that the but tane from a lighter
- 31:34Speaker 2: sort of makes the tape the first few drags taste worse,
- 31:38Speaker 2: and that striking a match and lighting it up that
- 31:41Speaker 2: way is I don't know who knows if that's fucking true,
- 31:44Speaker 2: but I'm arguing with this kid, I'm fighting a two
- 31:46Speaker 2: front war against the Dutch, which is ironic because they
- 31:49Speaker 2: just got run over by the fucking Nazis. And I
- 31:55Speaker 2: finally like took my thing and walked out. But I
- 31:57Speaker 2: was pissed. I was kind of pissed off. And what
- 32:00Speaker 2: I learned or this was my guess, which was kind
- 32:05Speaker 2: of confirmed because I talked about on stage when I
- 32:07Speaker 2: did the show. Amsterdam and Holland in general were the
- 32:13Speaker 2: place to go for weed for decades before when the
- 32:17Speaker 2: rest of the world had it as an illegal drug,
- 32:21Speaker 2: and it was spoken of as this sort of like
- 32:24Speaker 2: mythical place that was the leader of weed and progressive
- 32:27Speaker 2: thought and oh, you go to you can smoke legal weed,
- 32:30Speaker 2: and answer I remember growing up thinking like, holy shit,
- 32:33Speaker 2: what a what a crazy like unicorn city that you
- 32:37Speaker 2: can go there and smoke in these coffee shops. And
- 32:39Speaker 2: then what happened is we became legal everywhere, and not
- 32:44Speaker 2: only that, but America, you know, California made way better weed,
- 32:51Speaker 2: and so all the tourists that for years would go
- 32:55Speaker 2: to Amsterdam and go into these coffee shops and be like, wow, weed,
- 33:01Speaker 2: Like what should I get? And they'd be like you
- 33:04Speaker 2: should try this, try this. Whatever. Now those people that
- 33:08Speaker 2: walk in are like, I'd like a sativa dominant hybrid
- 33:12Speaker 2: grown outdoors with like a twenty one percent THHC content
- 33:17Speaker 2: and by the way, like, can you tell me the
- 33:19Speaker 2: terpene count? May I look at it under a microscope?
- 33:22Speaker 2: And then they're like, listen, we don't fucking have that.
- 33:25Speaker 2: And they're like, wait, what you know because we're used
- 33:28Speaker 2: to that. You go to any bud shop in fucking Colorado, California, Maine, Massachusetts,
- 33:35Speaker 2: that's what you do. There's a menu with forty different strains,
- 33:38Speaker 2: four hundred different edibles. There's wax and all this shatter
- 33:42Speaker 2: and all this crazy stuff. And we just totally surpassed
- 33:47Speaker 2: Holland in our weed ology. So all these tourists now
- 33:54Speaker 2: have gone from being blown away by the novelty to
- 33:58Speaker 2: running the show arrogant maybe, And the Dutch coffee people
- 34:04Speaker 2: are pissed off about it.
- 34:06Speaker 3: They're haughty, yeah, until it is kind of crazy to
- 34:08Speaker 3: go to Amsterdam and then their best weed is California.
- 34:11Speaker 2: Exact same. And it was like I I didn't want
- 34:15Speaker 2: to buy a California joint in Amsterdam, but they had.
- 34:20Speaker 2: We're splifs h And I don't like smoking tobacco laced joints.
- 34:25Speaker 2: So you know, look, I get it. I was a
- 34:28Speaker 2: little bit falling into that trope of being like the wait,
- 34:32Speaker 2: what you know kind of the entitled American about weed.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I guess, but I guess I would say like the
- 34:40Speaker 2: last six ish years of the pendulum swinging towards us
- 34:45Speaker 2: being more more weed people in America than they are
- 34:51Speaker 2: having a different culture has made these guys a little defensive.
- 34:55Speaker 2: And that's what I encountered.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of what other like industries are
- 34:59Speaker 1: like where they used to just dominate in one area
- 35:03Speaker 1: and now like it's completely globalized and everybody has access
- 35:08Speaker 1: to it, Like I guess, like Detroit with like cars
- 35:11Speaker 1: or some shit like that, Like you try to be
- 35:13Speaker 1: like I want to fucking forward or some shit like that.
- 35:16Speaker 1: It's like you can get a fucking Mercedes, you can
- 35:18Speaker 1: get a billion different cars all over the place. Super interesting,
- 35:22Speaker 1: But I guess, I mean, I guess it's like going
- 35:25Speaker 1: like the best wine is from wherever, like France or whatever.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but all that's changing now too, because all those
- 35:33Speaker 2: legendary producers in France are they're they're they're having horrific
- 35:37Speaker 2: yields of grapes because it's too hot. So wine production
- 35:41Speaker 2: is moving north, and weirdly like England is now becoming
- 35:46Speaker 2: a leader of sparkling wine obviously not champagne, but a
- 35:49Speaker 2: champagne equivalent. You know, they're going to become that. And
- 35:52Speaker 2: then like Oregon and that's why Oregon and Washington are
- 35:55Speaker 2: becoming pinot producers.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Are about twenty one hundred that, uh, you're going to
- 36:00Speaker 1: be able to grow oranges in Pennsylvania?
- 36:02Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 36:02Speaker 1: I heard that?
- 36:04Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I heard Also there was gonna be flying
- 36:07Speaker 3: cars in the next year.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I said in ten years, And I said that you're
- 36:10Speaker 1: gonna I didn't say cars. I didn't call them cars.
- 36:13Speaker 1: They're not gonna be cars. They're gonna be flying vehicles.
- 36:17Speaker 1: And as soon as I said that, there were like
- 36:20Speaker 1: links to sixty minutes reports Washington Journal articles. I'm not
- 36:24Speaker 1: the this isn't that article.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Someone just reposted that article that said, uh, I remember
- 36:28Speaker 3: when it came out, it was a it was like
- 36:30Speaker 3: super viral on Twitter, and it said that women are
- 36:32Speaker 3: going to be having sex with more robots than men
- 36:36Speaker 3: by twenty twenty five. And someone just quote tweeted it
- 36:39Speaker 3: and was like counting down the days.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I mean, do vibrators count?
- 36:45Speaker 3: I don't. In the picture, it's a lady with her
- 36:48Speaker 3: head resting on a robot, like on his check. A
- 36:50Speaker 3: man's yeah chant of a robot after a.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Robot just pleased. How was that for you?
- 37:02Speaker 3: That's crazy that the idea of you bickering with not
- 37:05Speaker 3: only the owner of the show, the guy working at
- 37:08Speaker 3: the shop, but then customers is like like a line
- 37:11Speaker 3: curb your enthusiasm. Yeah, so funny.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, I mean to top it all off, I
- 37:17Speaker 2: explained again, I was when I walked in, I was
- 37:20Speaker 2: the only person. It was late, it was probably nine
- 37:23Speaker 2: pm and I was the only person in there. It
- 37:27Speaker 2: was a Thursday night. And uh, when I walked in,
- 37:33Speaker 2: they had actually in this place. They had a lounge area, yeah,
- 37:39Speaker 2: with the leather chairs that I was sort of looking for.
- 37:43Speaker 2: The front part of the store was shitty, but the
- 37:45Speaker 2: back had this nice roped off area. And I say
- 37:48Speaker 2: it truly roped off. There was a red rope with
- 37:51Speaker 2: two stands separating it. And I said to the guy.
- 37:55Speaker 2: I go, you know, can I be honest? And this
- 37:57Speaker 2: was before things got testy. I said, is there you know?
- 38:02Speaker 2: Am I am? I allowed to go back there? And
- 38:05Speaker 2: he goes, no, that's just for the owner. Oh, And
- 38:09Speaker 2: I said, I mean there must have been forty seats
- 38:11Speaker 2: back there. Yeah, forty places to sit. And I said,
- 38:13Speaker 2: what do you mean, like just for him? And he goes, yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 2: he built that as part of the store for when
- 38:19Speaker 2: he wants to come here and hang out with his friends,
- 38:21Speaker 2: but no one else.
- 38:22Speaker 1: It's the Brandon Walker smoking.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Ye it sounds literally.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Yeah, And I said, that's that's funny. I mean I
- 38:28Speaker 2: had this vision that a lot of these coffee shops
- 38:30Speaker 2: would have an area like that where you could sit
- 38:33Speaker 2: and enjoy your joint and and do that. But I
- 38:36Speaker 2: haven't found that. And he was like, yeah, I don't
- 38:39Speaker 2: know what to tell you.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so funny that you had so much conversation
- 38:44Speaker 1: with this guy.
- 38:45Speaker 2: I know, yeah, yeah, I was trying to learn and
- 38:47Speaker 2: trying to just ask, like, you know, questions, back finding
- 38:51Speaker 2: questions in a respectful way.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Did he have a retort to the plastic comment, because like,
- 38:57Speaker 1: you like, where does he think of plastic?
- 38:58Speaker 2: Goes, yeah, you know that's that I said the plastic comment,
- 39:03Speaker 2: and then the guy behind me was the one who
- 39:05Speaker 2: then responded to that by saying, well, it's better for
- 39:08Speaker 2: the smoke you'll take. You'll take the smoke. It'll it'll
- 39:12Speaker 2: be a better smoke with the lighter. And I was like, no,
- 39:15Speaker 2: it won't.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Shut the fuck up, pothead, Shut the f up.
- 39:20Speaker 2: As this is happening. As this is happening, that guy
- 39:24Speaker 2: is buying just the tiniest amount in a tiny little bag,
- 39:28Speaker 2: like a whatever five dollars bag of weeds, and they're
- 39:32Speaker 2: transacting while they're both arguing with me.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 39:37Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, I thought there'd be a
- 39:38Speaker 2: place where you could go and like, you know, have
- 39:41Speaker 2: have you ever been to some food and stuff like that?
- 39:43Speaker 2: And he goes and then he finally was like you
- 39:45Speaker 2: should try this place you go. You could have milkshake,
- 39:49Speaker 2: you could have pizza, they said, an American plan. I
- 39:53Speaker 2: was like, I don't want I don't want a milkshake
- 39:55Speaker 2: or pizza.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you can have French fries and hamburger fat ash.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like greasy, microwaved pub food that you would
- 40:04Speaker 2: eat like a stoned nine year old dude. I don't
- 40:08Speaker 2: want my I don't want to recreate my.
- 40:10Speaker 9: First experience smoking weed. I have achieved a level of discernment. Yeah,
- 40:19Speaker 9: how about a fucking like enterprising jazz duo playing behind.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Me while I It sounds like you were looking for
- 40:26Speaker 3: more of like a Starbucks reserve type thing.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yes, I was looking not even that. I was looking
- 40:32Speaker 2: for a local kind of coffee shop type place that
- 40:36Speaker 2: sold weed.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Yeah, like a hookah lounge.
- 40:39Speaker 3: I imagined it in my head. I always pictured it
- 40:41Speaker 3: to be like a coffee like literally like a Starbucks
- 40:43Speaker 3: reserve that had like massive vents everywhere to like remove
- 40:47Speaker 3: the weed smoke, and everyone was just smoking weed.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Oh it's it's wooden tables with wooden chairs that are uncomfortable,
- 40:54Speaker 2: and people are sitting there chain smoking joints and there's
- 40:58Speaker 2: like loud house music playing. Yeah, and then like the
- 41:02Speaker 2: fucking bud tenders are behind bulletproof glass criminals.
- 41:07Speaker 3: So it's literally just like a bowdg.
- 41:08Speaker 2: It's like a boat. It's a little closer to a
- 41:10Speaker 2: bow dag.
- 41:13Speaker 3: Than it is to they have guns.
- 41:16Speaker 2: No, the only thing people steal are electric bike motors.
- 41:22Speaker 1: And people are just smashing the bike motors into the
- 41:25Speaker 1: bulletproof glass.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Yeah that said. I did smoke the joint, the California joint.
- 41:30Speaker 2: It was very good weed.
- 41:31Speaker 3: Sure.
- 41:32Speaker 2: I sat on a park bench overlooking the canal and
- 41:35Speaker 2: it was lovely. And walking around that city gently stoned
- 41:40Speaker 2: was sublime experience. And my impression of the Dutch is
- 41:46Speaker 2: ten out of ten as a people. They are not
- 41:50Speaker 2: as icy and standoffish as the Scandinavians, but they sort
- 41:54Speaker 2: of and so there's like they're warmer than that, but
- 41:57Speaker 2: they have the same like upright drive and togetherness that
- 42:03Speaker 2: the Scandinavians had. It's a little bit I would call
- 42:06Speaker 2: it a cross between like Norway, Germany and England in a.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Way geographically that's pretty yeah.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Right, and maybe that's obvious. They're handsome, they're good looking people.
- 42:22Speaker 2: They dress well. The bike thing is fucking awesome. I
- 42:25Speaker 2: rented a bike from my hotel.
- 42:26Speaker 3: For the day.
- 42:26Speaker 2: It was like twenty euros, yeah, and I had it
- 42:28Speaker 2: all day long and I had the best time just
- 42:31Speaker 2: bombing around the city and biking, going to little shops
- 42:34Speaker 2: looking at things. I went to the Van the Reich's
- 42:37Speaker 2: museum and saw the Dutch masters ran Brandt vermer.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Wait Dutch masters.
- 42:43Speaker 2: I saw Rembrandt's night Watch, which is this gike. It's
- 42:47Speaker 2: his greatest painting. It's the size of that fucking wall.
- 42:50Speaker 2: It's huge. For some reason, people are always attacking it.
- 42:53Speaker 2: It's got to be protesters. So they were doing a
- 42:54Speaker 2: little bit of a repair, which whatever. There's some scaffolding
- 42:57Speaker 2: around it, but I still got the idea. Years are unbelievable.
- 43:01Speaker 2: I did not make it to the Dangu Museum, which
- 43:03Speaker 2: I regret. I'll have to go back.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's a good one.
- 43:06Speaker 1: You saw the one museum though, you were like, I
- 43:08Speaker 1: just feel like it's just the same thing. It's all
- 43:11Speaker 1: just running together. That looked like a museum of just
- 43:13Speaker 1: like twelve by twelve paintings and chairs.
- 43:16Speaker 2: That was the Reichs Museum. It was too big.
- 43:18Speaker 1: I don't like seeing chairs in museums. No like that.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Shit does not fucking scratch my itch.
- 43:23Speaker 2: But they did have old weapons that were used during
- 43:26Speaker 2: the time of the Dutch East India Company, which is,
- 43:29Speaker 2: as you guys probably know, is the first publicly traded
- 43:32Speaker 2: company in the world, of course, of course, and was
- 43:36Speaker 2: the reason that the Dutch ran the world economy. The
- 43:40Speaker 2: Dutch currency was the global reserve currency for many years
- 43:43Speaker 2: until it was overtaken by That's right, British pound. Control
- 43:50Speaker 2: of the seas was always kind of what dictated.
- 43:52Speaker 1: I think, whoever, well they fucking they colonized the fuck.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I mean, New Amsterdam isn't there isn't there a neighborhood.
- 43:59Speaker 1: There isn't like the original Harlem there.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I wouldn't have seen that. I was gonna stay away
- 44:05Speaker 2: from a place like.
- 44:07Speaker 3: I thought the Harlem there was like going to answer
- 44:09Speaker 3: and be like, what's like Harlem around here?
- 44:12Speaker 2: Where's your bad neighbor?
- 44:13Speaker 1: They have a neighborhood called Harlem. I think Harlem is
- 44:16Speaker 1: like a Dutch word, probably too h A r l
- 44:19Speaker 1: A A Harlem.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Yeah, the Harlem.
- 44:23Speaker 3: But well it sounds awesome. It sounds like a I.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Just think like from a sensory perception or perspective rather
- 44:31Speaker 2: the scene, the light, the architecture. I don't know, not
- 44:36Speaker 2: to get to fucking long winded, which I have, of course,
- 44:40Speaker 2: but I've enjoyed.
- 44:41Speaker 3: I've been enjoying it.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I feel like I'm transported there.
- 44:44Speaker 2: It really surprised me. I've thought it would be a
- 44:47Speaker 2: little bit like going when you go to you know, say, uh,
- 44:52Speaker 2: a European city and after a couple of days, you're like,
- 44:55Speaker 2: everything kind of looks the same. Yeah, that was not
- 44:59Speaker 2: the case. The canals to me were I could have
- 45:03Speaker 2: looked at them all fucking.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that stuff looks I've always wanted to see that.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Plus the temperature was amazing. It was so comfortable there.
- 45:10Speaker 2: It's cool, you know, sort of northern Europe.
- 45:14Speaker 1: And then.
- 45:16Speaker 2: It didn't really rain and they do say that it
- 45:18Speaker 2: rains like seventy percent of the days there. Oh really,
- 45:21Speaker 2: so you missed it. I didn't have I had one shower.
- 45:25Speaker 2: I sat on a at a cafe and got to
- 45:30Speaker 2: know a bunch of Dutch people, talked to them for
- 45:33Speaker 2: a while, just drank, you know, a bottle of wine
- 45:35Speaker 2: by myself, which was pretty fun. Back to the canal,
- 45:40Speaker 2: cool shit.
- 45:40Speaker 1: What did they ask you? What did you tell them
- 45:42Speaker 1: about yourself? How much does big cats make?
- 45:49Speaker 2: How long are Harry's balls?
- 45:50Speaker 1: Really?
- 45:56Speaker 2: No, yeah, they would just I don't know. It's just friendly, outgoing.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Warm and every You told me you're there for comedy. Yep, yeah,
- 46:04Speaker 1: fucking sick. That probably contextualized you in a cool way
- 46:07Speaker 1: for them. Yeah, you looked at place with all of
- 46:09Speaker 1: them you look like yeah. Oh.
- 46:12Speaker 2: That was Another fun thing is that everybody would address
- 46:15Speaker 2: me in Dutch and I would then say I'm sorry, Hi,
- 46:19Speaker 2: how's it going. And they were so unbelieving that I
- 46:22Speaker 2: was not Dutch that they would then respond again in
- 46:25Speaker 2: Dutch and I would have to put my foot down
- 46:28Speaker 2: and say English. Sorry, I always speak English English, but
- 46:31Speaker 2: they all speak perfect English.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Yes, such a fucking perfect English. That's such a compliment
- 46:37Speaker 1: when you go to another country and they think you're local.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Yes, it happens to me in in Holland. It happens
- 46:43Speaker 2: to me in Scandinavia, England, Germany. Not France. Definitely not France.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Even though that's probably where you want it the most.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Well, the irony there is that I then respond in
- 46:54Speaker 2: French and they're like oh.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Shit, and they go all right, dude, cut the shit.
- 46:58Speaker 1: It's very funny talking to you in English. Fucking TikTok pranks?
- 47:02Speaker 2: What uh?
- 47:03Speaker 1: What was better? Uh? Morocco or Amsterdam. You also have
- 47:08Speaker 1: something fell off. You had something on your nose dangling
- 47:11Speaker 1: and I didn't know. It was like it's like a
- 47:14Speaker 1: hair that wasn't.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Yours, funky pussy hair, red light dist eating some bore
- 47:22Speaker 2: pussy all morning. I would say that for me, my
- 47:27Speaker 2: experience in Amsterdam was better, Uh, because I've been in
- 47:31Speaker 2: Morocco before and Maroco what.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Kind of old news.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Yeah, just uh, they've said it. They say it's changed
- 47:40Speaker 2: a lot. It has from the first time I went. Uh,
- 47:43Speaker 2: it now is much more glamorous, woke. Yeah, they went
- 47:48Speaker 2: over the lips. Yeah. Uh, it's not. It's it's they're
- 47:54Speaker 2: all talking about how safe it is, and I don't know,
- 47:57Speaker 2: just didn't seem it's it's it's been built up more
- 47:59Speaker 2: like rich Branson as a hotel there now Christiana Ronald
- 48:02Speaker 2: though built one.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Are they awesome? I bet the hotels there are fucking.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Hotel I stayed in was fucking sick. It was awesome.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Show me a picture of your room.
- 48:12Speaker 2: I will once we're done. Yes, it was like a
- 48:15Speaker 2: re odd you know, considered call it a town home.
- 48:19Speaker 2: I had my own personal plunge pool. Oh god, really
- 48:23Speaker 2: really great, Oh my god. I also will say that
- 48:27Speaker 2: the call to prayer, which emanates from loud speakers in
- 48:31Speaker 2: mosques around the city every day at the same time,
- 48:36Speaker 2: is beautiful. It's kind of this lilting, haunting thing that
- 48:41Speaker 2: just shuts everyone down, and they kind of take a
- 48:45Speaker 2: break and pray whole country.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Did you make so lot? Did you pray to the
- 48:51Speaker 1: to Mecca?
- 48:53Speaker 2: I didn't felt like that would have been the wrong
- 48:56Speaker 2: thing to do.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Hey, guys, let's take a second to talk about game time,
- 48:59Speaker 1: and specifically, let's talk about game time picks. You know,
- 49:03Speaker 1: game time picks is. It is the next level. They
- 49:07Speaker 1: are making it even easier to get into the game.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Game time picks filters out the fluff to show you
- 49:11Speaker 1: only incredible deals on great seats, so you don't have
- 49:14Speaker 1: to waste time searching through thousands of tickets. I literally
- 49:17Speaker 1: just went to the Phillies games all nights ago with
- 49:20Speaker 1: game time ticks pick or game time picks ticks, and
- 49:25Speaker 1: oh my gosh, so easy got in there. Phillies beat
- 49:30Speaker 1: the Bravos in extra in extras, fucking gluten free hot dogs,
- 49:36Speaker 1: non alcohol beers, the fucking life. That sounds fun, Americana, Man.
- 49:41Speaker 3: That's not possible without game time.
- 49:42Speaker 1: It really wouldn't be. You'd have to be I mean,
- 49:45Speaker 1: you're probably sitting outside the stadium playing a saxophone for cash.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Some bs like that. You game time, you get through
- 49:55Speaker 1: thousands of tickets. I was looking at tickets for that
- 50:00Speaker 1: comedy show you're.
- 50:00Speaker 3: Going to Sebastian.
- 50:01Speaker 2: Sebastian.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and there's amazing deals right over there. Pull up
- 50:05Speaker 1: your chosen event. Go to the GT pick setting at
- 50:08Speaker 1: the top of the screen. Brows the best local game
- 50:10Speaker 1: time picks deals near you down with the game time
- 50:12Speaker 1: app today. Use code boy Dad to easily score great
- 50:16Speaker 1: tickets with the new game time Picks, New game time Picks.
- 50:19Speaker 1: What time is it?
- 50:20Speaker 3: Game time?
- 50:21Speaker 1: Game time? Just get back to this freaking show.
- 50:24Speaker 2: But everybody does it. Everybody can hurt. They like when
- 50:29Speaker 2: the guys running their shops will get someone else to
- 50:33Speaker 2: like man the shop for a few minutes and while
- 50:35Speaker 2: they go to the mosque and pray, and then they
- 50:37Speaker 2: come back and then that guy goes.
- 50:40Speaker 3: So everybody lifts.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and they do it five times a day. I mean,
- 50:45Speaker 2: I can't even.
- 50:46Speaker 3: A lot of steps.
- 50:47Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:48Speaker 3: It's about how they stay so slender, a lot.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Of bowing down. That's probably how that lower back stays
- 50:52Speaker 1: so loose.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 50:53Speaker 3: Yeah, no posture problems on those guys, I know, just
- 50:57Speaker 3: a constant stretch.
- 50:58Speaker 1: You should join Muslim before. Don't tell USA joined Muslim.
- 51:03Speaker 2: All right, So that's my that's my travel stories.
- 51:06Speaker 1: That if you have any more, bless us with them.
- 51:09Speaker 3: I know I'm jealous, sounds sick. It was a good trip,
- 51:12Speaker 3: you know, I didn't I will say, I'm just straight
- 51:14Speaker 3: to mon talk.
- 51:16Speaker 2: No.
- 51:16Speaker 3: Fisher's Island. Fisher's Island.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I got home, flew home and then uh, I said, where's.
- 51:22Speaker 3: The booze at?
- 51:23Speaker 1: Where's the next party?
- 51:24Speaker 2: To bed? And woke up the next morning and bounced
- 51:26Speaker 2: right out to Fisher's Island for a golf tournament.
- 51:28Speaker 1: You probably had stories for those boys, the fucking booz that. Yeah,
- 51:33Speaker 1: I need a bottle of booze.
- 51:36Speaker 3: Motherfucking gray goose. Baby.
- 51:39Speaker 1: What were you drinking out there? Wine?
- 51:41Speaker 3: Everything, bud light?
- 51:44Speaker 2: It was a ton of bud light.
- 51:46Speaker 1: You were Yeah, not even.
- 51:48Speaker 2: No, oh wait where in Amsterdam?
- 51:51Speaker 3: Yeah, not in fucking Fisher's Island.
- 51:54Speaker 2: In Amsterdam, I drank some Heinekens also, just like a
- 51:58Speaker 2: lot of the.
- 51:59Speaker 3: Gronies think, any what are they? Six sixteen forty two's?
- 52:04Speaker 3: What are those beers?
- 52:05Speaker 2: Cronenbergs?
- 52:06Speaker 3: Is that what they're called?
- 52:07Speaker 2: Yeah? Those were French though or Belgium.
- 52:09Speaker 3: I think that French. I got. I had them in France.
- 52:11Speaker 3: They were very good. Yeah, I also just Heldenberg.
- 52:13Speaker 1: That sounds German as well.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Yeah, actually okay nerd Berg.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Oh you probably fucking drink them because it Ensinberg, you
- 52:23Speaker 1: jew No.
- 52:25Speaker 3: I I I drank them. That was the first legal
- 52:28Speaker 3: beer I ever got. I had a McDonald's at the
- 52:30Speaker 3: at the in France, at the the fucking museum. What's
- 52:38Speaker 3: it called the Louver, the Louver. I had it at
- 52:40Speaker 3: the Louver at the McDonald's when I went to the
- 52:42Speaker 3: bathroom and I chugged it because I was I was
- 52:46Speaker 3: in school, really yeah, we were in the field t
- 52:49Speaker 3: I was seventeen, sixteen seventeen. It was awesome.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Kids at our school did that night school and they
- 52:55Speaker 2: got caught.
- 52:56Speaker 3: We didn't get caught. We spend we did go to
- 52:58Speaker 3: a bar. We had like an hour free time. We
- 53:00Speaker 3: went to a bar right next to the Louver and
- 53:02Speaker 3: there was a dude there who had who apparently was
- 53:05Speaker 3: from the same town as us, and he bought us
- 53:07Speaker 3: all around. It was funny though, because it was like
- 53:09Speaker 3: we're in France and we're all just drinking like Miller
- 53:11Speaker 3: Lite and Corona.
- 53:14Speaker 1: And some weirdos furnishing at the time. He probably seemed
- 53:17Speaker 1: like the man, but now it's like, why are you
- 53:19Speaker 1: buying those?
- 53:20Speaker 3: He bought it for us when he was leaving because
- 53:22Speaker 3: he saw one of one of our buddies had the sweatshirt.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Oh of their town. Yeah that's pretty sweet. Yeah, I
- 53:28Speaker 1: bet you had a very nice buzz from that bathroom beer. Oh, hammered,
- 53:35Speaker 1: you started like pissing on a fucking that's like when
- 53:38Speaker 1: you're that young, Like two beers, you're fucking blacked out. Yeah,
- 53:42Speaker 1: it's amazing. It's such a nice feeling just getting that
- 53:46Speaker 1: tolerance down. Francis probably needs to drink a keg and
- 53:48Speaker 1: he's just fine, Oh yeah, right.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Now, we're going to shut it down. We're going to
- 53:51Speaker 2: shut it down.
- 53:52Speaker 3: Francis has one of those like like gag wine glasses
- 53:55Speaker 3: that you buy it like a party store. What we're
- 53:58Speaker 3: like the one that's like it's like a gall and big,
- 54:02Speaker 3: like one of those ones that like moms post on
- 54:04Speaker 3: Facebook and they're like just having one glass of wine.
- 54:08Speaker 2: It's five o'clock somewhere.
- 54:11Speaker 1: The doctor says, one glass of wine.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Actually that's Francis. Every night, just the.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Punch bowl dinner is served. I haven't been up to
- 54:21Speaker 1: Dick all, we went camping. What the fuck are you
- 54:23Speaker 1: talking about?
- 54:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but that was like one day. I haven't done ship, dude.
- 54:31Speaker 3: I went fishing. I caught two trout in the morning
- 54:34Speaker 3: and then I caught thirty small mouth bass.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Oh small mouse.
- 54:38Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's not what I wanted to catch. But
- 54:39Speaker 3: it was still fun. It was it was good and
- 54:42Speaker 3: you got any pictures, Yeah, but it's not really anything
- 54:46Speaker 3: that's gonna interest you. I have one more story, Okay,
- 54:49Speaker 3: feel free, I don't have. I been doing dick all,
- 54:52Speaker 3: just playing Black Op six and doing new jokes at
- 54:54Speaker 3: the stand. I was bombing. I was.
- 54:57Speaker 2: I was in the pool at the Moroccan hotel and
- 55:01Speaker 2: I was doing some breath holding stuff, you know me. Yeah,
- 55:05Speaker 2: I try to do as many lengths underwater as I can.
- 55:09Speaker 2: And at the other end of the pool I noticed
- 55:11Speaker 2: that there were two handsome Arab guys, young guys, also
- 55:16Speaker 2: doing the same thing, and so I sort of swam
- 55:19Speaker 2: over to them and struck up a conversation. I said,
- 55:23Speaker 2: what are you guys up to? And they were like, well,
- 55:24Speaker 2: we're training for spear fishing season. Oh, And I was like, whoa,
- 55:29Speaker 2: So you do it without oxygen like you don't you
- 55:33Speaker 2: just do it on a breath? And they were like,
- 55:35Speaker 2: we think that's more sporting, yeah, which is true. I
- 55:38Speaker 2: think that's cool.
- 55:39Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely.
- 55:40Speaker 2: And I was like, do you use the slang one
- 55:42Speaker 2: or do you use the like the one that you
- 55:44Speaker 2: know shot weaponized? Yeah? And they were like, well, we
- 55:46Speaker 2: use the weaponized one or whatever, but but we do
- 55:48Speaker 2: it on one breath. I was like, Wow, that's awesome.
- 55:52Speaker 2: And they were like, yeah, we go off the oil
- 55:54Speaker 2: rigs in Dubai.
- 55:56Speaker 1: What that's got to be so dangerous? Aren't They're like
- 56:00Speaker 1: fucking like tons of sharks out there?
- 56:02Speaker 2: Dude? They said it's totally totally illegal, but they go
- 56:07Speaker 2: do it anyway, and they go off the pillars of
- 56:09Speaker 2: the oil rigs and they spearfish around there. And then
- 56:12Speaker 2: he casually, this young guy casually dropped and he was
- 56:17Speaker 2: like he said something like I don't know, yeah, we
- 56:21Speaker 2: last time we were on the yacht, we had like
- 56:23Speaker 2: fourteen kingfish or something, and I was like, oh shit, yacht.
- 56:29Speaker 2: So they're from Dubai.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Yeah, And then he wore a trillionaire and then he.
- 56:35Speaker 2: Told me that. I was like, what are you guys
- 56:37Speaker 2: doing here? And he was like, well, my dad just
- 56:39Speaker 2: built a house at the new four Seasons property nearby,
- 56:43Speaker 2: and it's like a place that you can both stay
- 56:46Speaker 2: at but also has homes that you can build. And
- 56:49Speaker 2: he was like, but he was worried that the Wi
- 56:51Speaker 2: fi and shit wasn't set up yet, so he just
- 56:53Speaker 2: got us all rooms at this hotel to make sure
- 56:57Speaker 2: that everything was okay. And he told him to bring
- 57:03Speaker 2: all of his friends. And then I'm like, holy shit,
- 57:07Speaker 2: and so then I look. We like exchanged info and
- 57:10Speaker 2: followed each other on Instagram. This guy is the sun
- 57:16Speaker 2: of the crown prince of a major province of the
- 57:20Speaker 2: United Arab Emirates.
- 57:22Speaker 3: That's six billionaire.
- 57:24Speaker 2: I would think it's billions. Yeah, I think it's billions easily.
- 57:27Speaker 1: In Dubai for surely. Oh my god. And he's he's
- 57:32Speaker 1: just sporting spearfishing off of a fucking oil.
- 57:36Speaker 2: Guys, this guy's a fun follow fun follow on Instagram.
- 57:40Speaker 2: This kid, I don't know, he's probably in his mid
- 57:42Speaker 2: twenties or something, but he and his buddy are both
- 57:45Speaker 2: part of a team that does I guess American Ninja
- 57:50Speaker 2: warrior stuff all. But as a team they like run
- 57:55Speaker 2: these races. I guess it's a sport over there where
- 57:58Speaker 2: they do these obstacles and they're just in insane shape.
- 58:02Speaker 2: They're like rock climbers. They they're doing like backflips all
- 58:05Speaker 2: over the fucking place. Cool, crazy shit. It's like a
- 58:08Speaker 2: parkour team meets whatever American ninja warrior and that seems
- 58:13Speaker 2: to be what he does.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Those are wild boys out there. Yeah, you all see
- 58:17Speaker 1: the videos of them, like riding a ferrari on two
- 58:20Speaker 1: wheels out the side of.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Like a desert, like shooting ak.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Yeah, they're doing a TV stuff and his buddy who
- 58:27Speaker 2: was with them, who's part of the team, has has
- 58:30Speaker 2: the Guinness World record I know this from from his
- 58:32Speaker 2: Instagram Guinness World Record for most consecutive backflips down a
- 58:36Speaker 2: sand dune. And there's just a video of him starting
- 58:39Speaker 2: at the top.
- 58:40Speaker 3: Wo wow, wow wow wow.
- 58:43Speaker 2: That's crazy, like a hundred. It is fucking insanity.
- 58:46Speaker 1: That sounds incredible. That's a dude. You need to make friends.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Bro to come spearfishing with them in January.
- 58:54Speaker 3: You should do it.
- 58:55Speaker 2: I actually think I want to do.
- 58:56Speaker 3: You should do You should like bring Donnie or something
- 58:58Speaker 3: to make a video.
- 58:59Speaker 2: No, I can't. I can't resk that much.
- 59:01Speaker 1: A wild card.
- 59:02Speaker 2: No, he would just I don't know.
- 59:04Speaker 3: I love don I guess probably want to documented yes,
- 59:08Speaker 3: exactly exactly.
- 59:08Speaker 2: It's like a royal family or some ship.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Just to write one blog about it. You should do
- 59:14Speaker 1: it though that they're probably catching Goliath groupers out there.
- 59:17Speaker 2: They hunt for kings, they go for king they fish
- 59:19Speaker 2: for kingfish.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Probably like armed bodyguards in the water.
- 59:22Speaker 3: I know the day, but I don't know.
- 59:24Speaker 2: He says it's like a bigger version of a barracuda.
- 59:27Speaker 3: Jesus, Well, then that's horrifying. That's the thing they want,
- 59:31Speaker 3: razor blade teeth.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Yeah, what kind of spearfish is gonna fucking like? You
- 59:35Speaker 1: must have massive They must be shooting harpoons. Yeah, I know.
- 59:39Speaker 2: But the cool part was that I was able to
- 59:41Speaker 2: do more length underwater than they did because I've been
- 59:44Speaker 2: training a lot.
- 59:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty sick that they do that. They do
- 59:47Speaker 3: no no oxygen.
- 59:48Speaker 2: I then held my breath and had someone timing on
- 59:51Speaker 2: a phone for as long as I could, and I
- 59:53Speaker 2: set my own personal record. How is two full minutes?
- 59:58Speaker 2: Two minutes?
- 59:58Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna sae like five minut No, I'm.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Not not a fucking psycho, dude, I held my water
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: under breadth. I held my breath underwater for two full minutes.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: I feel like I feel like I could do it.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: That's the problem right now.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: I don't know. It seemed pretty nuts to me. I'd
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: never done more than probably like a minute and a half.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Just being still. I feel like it's harder if you're moving.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, you gotta. You gotta just calm yourself
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: the fuck down for a while.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: Whim hoffed into that five minutes.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Yeah, when I do wim hoff you hold it for
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you hold it for ninety seconds something.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Yeah. I think if I trained, I could probably do
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: two and a half, maybe three if I really trained.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: And I don't see the point off. You're going close
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: to four.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: You gotta start wim hoffing.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: I downloaded that app once and never never figured it out.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Just do the YouTube app.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I was just always on YouTube.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: You just hit that video.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: I don't understand it.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: Feel zebreath.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Let the buddy do what the buddy is. It's fucking awesome.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: That's awesome, he says to be like, didn't he said
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: he injected himself with a whole lot yeah, or like yeah,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: and he fought it off with the whim just to
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: like prove it, just like breathed his way.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: They like what they like, watched it exit. His body
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: just marched out here. All of his videos are him
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: like swimming in Antarctica.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: And he did it because his wife died of cancer.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: I think his wife killed herself of with cancer.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: She rejected herself with cancer.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: I think his wife committed suicide. And then he got
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: really into whim Hoff.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I thought it was I thought he she got sick.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: And he was like, I can't fold this, I can't
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: go out this way.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Google, Google, get to the how is that sweet sweet
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: weekend that you had up in the Hudson Valley?
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Very very chill, very relaxed, looked awesome. It was fucking dope.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: It was very nice up there, felt like a big getaway,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: but it was only an hour and a half away.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Setting that dog off.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: The leash, jumped off a build.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Better man than me, he said, Now I'm going to
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: breathe very deeply nice win there.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: Like, bro, if you're not up to date on wim
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Hoff bunch, you just sit this one out, dude. I
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: had our We had our first softball tournament, uh a
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: week ago.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: It was a tournament.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: We the first it was a preseason tournament, like not
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: it doesn't count towards the regular season.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: It's not just a game.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: It was crazy Derek. Dude, Derek is out of his
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: fucking mind. I like look at him differently after after that.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: After that, like I saw him that night and I
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: was like, dude, you're fucking insane. Like it was like
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: he was going fully back to prison. It was like
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: he's like as soon as we got out there and
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: it was competitive, he was the he's our coach slash manager,
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: Derek Dresher.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a comic.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Yeah, he's like he was like the coach slash manager.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: And the first game we played, it's it's very like
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: star to me, like it's it's all like there's an umpire.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: We get there, the two managers shake hands, then we're
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: instantly starting like it's not there's not really any like
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: sitting around or anything. And the first team that we
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: played was these like finance dudes or something. They're all
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: like my age.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: But like.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: My they look like they're my age. They're all fucking jacked,
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: wearing like skin tight shirts. They're all just.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Like yeah, they're at athletes and.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: We play the first inning, we let up like three
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: runs in the first inning and we score nothing. And
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: then they're playing like they're like drinking like high noons.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: They're playing music, and our team's like, it's I'm the
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: youngest person on our team by like five years, and
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: and our team they're like, they're like the other team
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: they're playing like Taylor Swift or some shit, and our guys,
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: half the tea people on our team have been to
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: prison for like ten years plus, and they're like, they're like,
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: these fucking pussies, let's show them some real music. And
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: then they're playing like Tupac. And then Derek, Derek comes
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: in from from the mound he was pitching, and he goes,
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: turn this fucking music off. This isn't a fucking hip
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: hop concert. And then he dude, he goes over to
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: the other bench, to their bench where they're playing music,
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: goes turn the fucking music off. And they're like, we're
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: not gonna turn the music off, dude, and he goes,
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: then I'll I'll go over there and I'll turn it
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: off for you. And they're like, really, we're gonna, like
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: you're gonna do this. There's it's Derek versus like twenty
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: fucking jacked twenty three year.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Olds who probably like still fight.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: Yes, And Derek's at the mound yelling at them to
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: turn the music off, and then he they're playing a
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: song and Derek goes, he goes, you ever hear the
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: remix to this one? It's called Suck My fucking Dick.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: And then the umpire stops the game and he and
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: he brings Derek in and he goes, he goes, if
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: you said that to me, I would beat the shit
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: out of you. And he's like, He's like, I know,
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: we're like having fun and this is competitive. He's like,
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: that crosses the line. And then uh. And then Derek
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: had to like, dude, like an dude on our team
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: had to like pull Derek aside and be like you're
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: You're like, He's like, you gotta bring it down a notch.
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: This game. This was like preseas. This was like ten
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: minutes into game one. Ten minutes in it was insane.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Was he just driving there like in like with the
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: heat lasting and the windows up all the way?
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: I guess last year, I guess last year they didn't
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: win a single game. He's like, not this year, he's
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: like he thinks that this year we should.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Be really good because you're on the squad.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: No, I just think because I mean, we should be
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: everyone on our team, like half the team is like
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: big man, it's just insane soft pitch softball.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: You know what? What what dictates who's actually good? It
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: would have to be a team that has a bunch
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: of people who played baseball.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: That's what it was. The team that won. So we played.
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: So we lost that first game by a lot. I
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: think we could have won that game if it wasn't
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: our first game. The second game we played, we smoked
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: that team. We won like twelve to four. And then
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: the game after that, we played a group who I
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: think they were just doing the tournament. I don't think
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: they're even in the league. I think they were just
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: doing the tournament because clearly just a full baseball team
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: that plays together. They beat us ten zero, and then
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: they beat the team in the championship that we lost
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: to our first game. They beat them ten zero. Ruin everybody, Yeah,
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: they were They destroyed us, and it was like it
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: was like you would hit you would hit a ball
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: and you'd be like any other team that would have
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: gone through but somehow they were just they were everywhere. Yeah,
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: like their fielding was insane. So we got fucking destroyed.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: How did you do? Did you get hit some hits?
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: Yeah? I got a hit every time. I never struck out.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: But it's weird because it starts with when you get
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: up to bat, you already have one strike and one ball,
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: which I don't understand. I was like, why don't we
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: just make it two strikes and three balls. Wouldn't that
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: make more sense better than being like, all right, you
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: already have two. I don't know that. I thought that
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: was stupid. No one else seemed to care, but I
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: thought that was dumb.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I mean, it's the same thing.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: So like you if you if you, if you don't
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: swing on something once, then you're already at two strikes.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: So then the third one they're like, well, I'm not
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: gonna strike out. So you're you're hitting that, you're swinging
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: at everything. You're hitting that ship that's a football.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: But you got you got bass hits or you just
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: make contact.
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: I got I got two base hits. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: think I had like three RBI's.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Let's fucking go. Yeah about how about in the field, shortstop?
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: You said no, God, no, I'm fucking right field. Really yeah,
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: where no one hits too unless it's a lefty.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Really yeah. They put you in the girls spot.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much. They don't really trust me.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Did you do any fielding practice?
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it was great. I mean, I fucking I
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: got I mostly gotten like thirty thousand steps that day
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: because it was three games. We had three games, that's sick.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: And I biked the Central Park on a knee bike,
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: being like, this will probably take like ten minutes. Took
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: me like an hour, so long, it.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Does take a while to get up there.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it was so far.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: That's so sick. Though. To have the camaraderie of the boys, yea,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: it was fun.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Derek was I mean, dude, it was crazy. You should
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: have seen it. It was like a full scene like
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: tourists walking by and they're like shocked, and then he's
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: turning and then being like, this is what real New
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: York looks like. Keep it moving.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Where is he from?
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: He's from Brooklyn or Eastern New York? What did you
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: expect I played?
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: The last time he played softball was probably in prison.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I expect that from Derek, but this was like
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: I'd never seen that level of like of like intenseness.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: It was so and everyone No one's like maybe like
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: a couple of people on the team would be like, dude,
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Like Derek like, oh, at the end of
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: the game, he gets us all on a huddle and
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: he's like, uh, he's like who had who He's like,
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: all right, a lot of work we need to do.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: And he's like a razor hand if you made an error,
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: and then uh, like Danny Poulochek raises his hand twenty
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: push ups right now, and dude, people are actually doing
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: the push ups. It was crazy.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: That's good, just like Tom Hanks in the League of There.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it was. I mean it was hilarious.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: That's so impressive.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: But we have a game on Sunday and I text
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: him this morning and I was like, if that game's
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: not over by one, I'm leaving.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that's insane.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Open there's nine games at one pm.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: That's insane.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: I'm not missing opening week.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Do you boys have spots on Friday night?
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely, Well, because you're gonna watch the Birds. Yeah,
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: my spots probably aren't until like midnight. Actually, no, I
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: think I have spots all night. But I'll probably have
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: like a three hour breakout come.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm doing this weekend. I might
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: be in rehab.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: You should just to see what it's like, go to.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Dtalks, do little research.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: I was watching, Uh, I was listening to Nick COLETTI
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: was on like some sobriety podcasts and I was listening
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: to it, and he was talking about when he went
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: to detox and his roommate was just doing fat and
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: all the entire time.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Jesus.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it sounds pretty dark, so impressive, but it seems
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: like a pretty common thing is that you go to
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: detox and you just like bring your drugs with you movement.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: It's just like, now no one's at least no one's
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: gonna bother me.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: By the way, boofing is interesting. Uh, there is a
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: discussion happening right now in my life about what it
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: really means. And I understood it to mean people that
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: sneak things in or out of prison or across state
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: lines or whatever.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: I was always an impression it was chugging a beer
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: through your ass, but chugging, but chugging.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: Yeah. I think what I learned is that it can
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: also mean I think that when you blow cocaine or
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: drugs up someone into someone's ass.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: Oh interesting, anything through the ass.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: There's that scene in Wolf of Wall Street where he's
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: doing that to the stripper. Is he the prostitute?
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: I thought he was doing cocaine off of her ass cheeks.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: No, he's doing he's blowing it into her butt.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Did they shoot it?
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: Watch that again?
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you kind of blow it like a blow dark.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: Yeah, like yes, yes, yes, I know you're talking about
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: I've never heard of that. I'd ever knew that. That
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: was also boofing.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: You should have tried it in Europe.
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: No, I could barely even have weed on decent terms.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: You didn't tell us about the red Light.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: I didn't go. They told me to stay away from it.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: I wasn't very interested. I think it's pretty sad like.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: I don't really want to.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: They're literally caged like snakes and a pet smart.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: I did not go to the red like district. I
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: had no interest.
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: You gotta go.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: People kind of said that, but.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I tell us about it.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Didn't want to go, didn't go.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: Dude, I watched last night. I was on YouTube and
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: I was I stumbled upon Andrew Dice Clay at MSG
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: might be the greatest comedy show of all time that
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: I would if I could go to any comedy show
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: in the history of time, it would be that show.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Do you watch him on on Instagram? Now?
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: Oh, it's so funny, the big shot or he'll just
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: be like, you guys want to take a picture of
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: me looking for the face? I heard you wanted a
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: picture with the face, And it'll be like the twenty
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: three year old dug on the Brooklyn Bridge? Who are you?
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: Have you seen the one where he goes up to
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers? He does that when the they did kill
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Tony at MSG, Aaron Rodgers was in the green room
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: and he goes up to him. It's very funny. Watch it. Yeah,
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: but uh, dude, one of the MSG they're there, it's
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: so sick. They got fucking big ass like foam dice
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: that they're like throwing around the crowd. Everyone's like repeating
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: the jokes with him. It's just like a concert. It's
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: so sick.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: He's deep into the character.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Huh.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I never watched it.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: I'll watch it though, So I didn't watch the whole thing.
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: I just watched the injury. Is it all?
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Hickory? Dickory docks stuff now just occasionally.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: That's like I think that's just like how he opens
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: the set, okay, and then it's mostly jokes. Yeah, but
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: the jokes are like they'll be like I had a
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: good He's like, you know what I hate is when
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: a bitch is sucking your dick and she's ignoring the balls.
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: And then he's like, uh, and then he's like, I
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: hate when a bitch is sucking my dick and she's
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: making eye contact me, look at my dick. You're supposed
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: to be sucking my dick.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Frech is like a bit more cerebral type of comedy.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I do too, But that ship, I mean,
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: you can't go wrong with that.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: I only listened to clean comedy.
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: Yeah, cerebral dice isn't for you. Bro Dice rules. Yeah,
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: he's got the left, he's got the vest on, the rules.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: So doing the fucking lights on India, I want to
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: see these people. It's great, you gotta watch.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: And he's twenty thousand people there.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, he sold out two nights in a row.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Wasn't he the first comedian ever to sell out MSG?
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: Yeah? I think the first comedian to ever sell it
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: out two nights in a row.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Maybe it was like his clientele, are they like Jersey
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: shore Es Pumpers with Punt.
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: I think it's like you go see you Go see
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: Bruce Springsteen and Dice Clay back to back MSG.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it might have been that no one, no One's
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: sold out MSG. Between him and then Dane Cook, there
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: was a long gap. Really, I could be wrong by that,
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: but I think think so Danny Cook sold it out,
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Eddie Murphy sold it out, but that was probably before.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: Dice Ice sold it out in nineteen ninety.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I would think Eddie Murphy was probably in the eighties, yeah,
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: and then Dice and then I don't know that anyone
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: sold it out.
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: So comedy was dead for fucking twelve Well, the nineties
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: was a bad time for comedy.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Because Seinfeld was fucking dominating.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: Well, I think the boom happened in the eighties and
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: then it really died off in the nineties because I
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: wonder why it just it's just like.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: What can we point to culturally though that in the
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: nineties over saturation everyone was times are good.
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: Yeah, no one had to last well because in the
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: if you listen to like old stories of people of
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: like older comedians like Louis and stuff. They'll talk about
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: being at the Cellar in the nineties and there's like
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: five people in the crowd. Yeah, which is crazy because
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: now they sell out. Fucking they probably sell like twenty thousand.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Tickets a week because people thought Friends was funny. Yeah,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: why do we have to go anywhere when fucking Phoebe
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: and Chandler can?
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: So yeah, uh yeah, I've never laughed at a friend's
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: joke in my life.
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't get that. I actually have many times,
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: a lot of it, A lot of it. I actually enjoyed.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: I'm with you on that. Yeah, I like Friends.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: That's like when people like that weird phase where everyone
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: was like the Office is the worst show of all time.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I think the Office is hilarious. Offices unbelieving that they're
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: just completely different stratospheres of types of comedy.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, now what I watched. I'm not gonna
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: like binge Friends.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: But would you I would binge the Office.
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: I would watch The Office if it was on TV,
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: like at a hotel, I'll watch the Office.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I don't think I'm throwing on Friend and I've tried.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: I don't want to be this way, but I just
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: it doesn't Now I think you're just like you're too
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: cool for school.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: No, I don't think I think you are. I think
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: that that's completely like my personality.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: Your whole thing is like friends actually suck. That's here,
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: You're one of those guys. I was that way. I've
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: been that way before, So I get it.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I won't have an honest opinion about anything anymore.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Rules.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: I just joked my entire life.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: How was pop punk?
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: They were fucking it looked crazy?
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: Did you get Horse?
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: They were actually awesome?
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Huh did you lose your voice?
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: No?
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: I like Train, he loses his voice.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: But this time, last couple of times, and I, like
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: I've been was chugging water, doing tons of vocal exercises.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I was like worried. I was like, these shows are
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: gonna be fucking dead. I was like promoting him way more.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: They were all sold out, Like there was like fucking
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: four hundred and fifty at the first show and like
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: six hundred at the fucking second show or whatever. That's
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: so crazy, and it was fucking and they went so hard.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: It was so we were all just looking at each
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: other on stage being like, this is so fun.
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: How was the Philly one?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: It was the best crowd ever, Rowdy as fuck. Just
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: like looking at the back corners of the room and
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: people are just like screaming every word in the songs.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: A bunch of libs in what way? Fucking the Birds, dude,
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: the Birds for Harris? That was that was proven Fagles
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: for Harris. You want to eat up the propaganda? What
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: are we talking about?
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: You just eat up the propaganda.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: No, I don't think it was fake.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: It was.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: It was just the Birds didn't actually back it.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so there was fake The Eagles tweeted out that
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: it was fake.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: I bet there was a There was a surprising amount
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: of people that were like pumped on that.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I think that the Eagles ownership. I think Jeffrey Lourie
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: is a traditional Democrat, but I don't think that he's putting.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: It out a bitch.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Fuck yeah, bro, but no, Phillies, Phillies, Philly's not like that.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Hell he did is Did you see people putting small
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: stickers over the entire sign?
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: No? I didn't.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: It's a badass. People were like papering it over.
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: They were putting stickers that said Harris Waltz twenty twenty four.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: What's wrong with Waltz?
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Bro?
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: Nothing? Actually, Waltz is the man.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Walt's rules. He's a football coach. Bro, he's a
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: football guy. Yeah, you can't get down with the football
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: with his son.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Is he autistic? Big time? He is, big time? Because
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: that's how someone say, like they were like a lot
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: of people don't know. His son's actually neurodivergent. He has
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: ADHD and anxiety, And I was like, I've been diagnosed
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: with both of those things. Yeah, so my NERD neurodivergent.
- 1:18:10Speaker 3: It's like then, I think he has like a nonverbal
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: learning disorder and disorder.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: If you're twenty years old, you're neurodiversion. Doesn't matter who
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: you are. All twenty year olds are neurodiversion.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it makes sense.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: You really can't help it. But uh, the Philly Show
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: is fucking rock though. Yeah, that's sick, both of them.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: It was so fun. Should come through and do one.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: I'm really trying to fucking get this barstool karaoke shit
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: off the ground where everywhere where people come and sing
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: a fucking song or whatever. We like back We do
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: like backing bands, and I added a tweak to it
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: where we'll do like it'll be like a themed night,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: so it'll be like country dress country, and we play
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: all country, and someone sings country, we do like fucking
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: nineties rock or some shit like that, and you can
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: come sing the fucking friends the song and laugh like
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: a hyena. No one told me life was gonna be
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: this way.
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: I'm not I don't like friends. I'm never gonna I'm
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: never gonna pursue friends. But I don't hate.
