- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome back to the Almost Famous Podcast. Today, Ashley,
- 0:10Speaker 2: that is me, and Ben, why am I weird, are
- 0:13Speaker 2: breaking down Bachelor Nation headlines for you. We got ballroom
- 0:16Speaker 2: dance floors, floods, and celibacy.
- 0:19Speaker 3: There's a lot happening. Hello, Ben. How are you? I'm
- 0:24Speaker 3: so good. It's good to be with you. Good to
- 0:26Speaker 3: be with you. You want to dive in these headlines?
- 0:29Speaker 4: Yes, please.
- 0:29Speaker 5: Okay, let's start with this one. Dancing with the Stars
- 0:33Speaker 5: is back on our televisions. Derek Hough awkwardly calls Tyler
- 0:37Speaker 5: Cameron Dylan during Dancing with the Stars premiere.
- 0:41Speaker 2: So Dylan, Dylan Efron was on last season. So Derek
- 0:45Speaker 2: has just probably got Dylan still on the mind. And
- 0:48Speaker 2: there's just like a general like sexiness, I guess, that
- 0:50Speaker 2: comes with both of them.
- 0:51Speaker 4: So it's easy to get them mixed up.
- 0:53Speaker 2: But after Tyler's dance yesterday, he said, there's something Patrick
- 0:59Speaker 2: Swayze about you. Dylan, Dylan, you have this like Patrick
- 1:03Speaker 2: Swayze-or about you. And that's a little awkward. And I guess,
- 1:10Speaker 2: did anybody correct him? Yeah, did anybody say?
- 1:14Speaker 3: Nobody said a word.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Nobody said like, oh, hey, that's Tyler, not Dylan.
- 1:18Speaker 3: No, we just let it sit. It's better when you
- 1:20Speaker 3: just let it sit. That's so funny.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I will say that since the beginning of Tyler Cameron's fame,
- 1:29Speaker 2: I've always thought that he was Swayze-like. There is something
- 1:32Speaker 2: about him that feels like Patrick. I don't know why,
- 1:36Speaker 2: but I like it. And everybody else does, too.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Taylor Frankie Paul reveals.
- 1:42Speaker 5: OK, so this is this is one, Ashley, that I
- 1:45Speaker 5: need caught up on because I've tried my my heart
- 1:49Speaker 5: to catch up on the Taylor Frankie Paul stuff when
- 1:52Speaker 5: it came to Bachelorette, post Bachelorette, all the storylines combining.
- 1:57Speaker 5: And now all of a sudden we're in this text
- 1:59Speaker 5: thread with I heart and our producers and I'm getting
- 2:02Speaker 5: videos sent to me of people that I've never heard of.
- 2:04Speaker 5: And so somehow along the way, I didn't know about
- 2:07Speaker 5: this Ben Lambert story. But the headline reads this way,
- 2:11Speaker 5: and then you can help me understand what in the
- 2:13Speaker 5: world is happening and where Ben came in. But Taylor
- 2:16Speaker 5: Frankie Paul reveals real reason for Ben Lambert breakup.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Ben.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Ben.
- 2:25Speaker 2: When she became the Bachelorette, not only did she sleep
- 2:29Speaker 2: with Dakota the night before leaving for it, she was
- 2:31Speaker 2: also talking to this other guy named Ben. That is
- 2:35Speaker 2: actually disrespectful to the franchise. You know what's more disrespectful?
- 2:39Speaker 2: The fact that she gets home after getting engaged to Doug,
- 2:44Speaker 2: and she admits that she was engaged to Doug, like
- 2:46Speaker 2: it's basically spoiler alert on this season of Secret Lives.
- 2:50Speaker 2: She goes and she cheats on him with this guy,
- 2:53Speaker 2: Ben and Dakota.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I was going to say I knew about Dakota.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, we all knew that she went back to Dakota
- 3:00Speaker 2: for a moment and we're like, oh, my God, this
- 3:01Speaker 2: girl's so addicted. But actually, she also cheated on Doug
- 3:05Speaker 2: with this guy, Ben.
- 3:07Speaker 5: Did she like has she talked about that? She actually
- 3:10Speaker 5: really liked Doug or she just feel like this was
- 3:12Speaker 5: a stepping stone or has she brought that up at all?
- 3:15Speaker 2: I'm going to bring producer Heather in to explain that
- 3:17Speaker 2: because I know that she's watched more Secret Life.
- 3:20Speaker 4: She's probably watched the entire episode.
- 3:22Speaker 6: You know, I watched the whole season in a span
- 3:24Speaker 6: of 24 hours.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I know.
- 3:27Speaker 6: So she calls Doug a clout chaser. And so when
- 3:32Speaker 6: her cast members are actually like, hey, when are you
- 3:34Speaker 6: going to tell Doug that you are back together with
- 3:37Speaker 6: Dakota or you're seeing this guy, Ben? She's like, I'll
- 3:40Speaker 6: tell him when I when I feel like it.
- 3:42Speaker 4: But they're currently engaged.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:44Speaker 6: And she goes, or I'll tell my lawyer to tell
- 3:46Speaker 6: his lawyer.
- 3:47Speaker 4: She's like, that's gross.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Oh my God. Oh my God.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I have to, I know I'm, I have to admit
- 3:52Speaker 2: it's gross and I'm intrigued to watch it. But why
- 3:55Speaker 2: did you agree to be the bachelorette? That's actually pissing
- 3:59Speaker 2: me off. That actually pisses me off.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Well, you have the same sentiment as a lot of
- 4:03Speaker 6: her cast members because they ask the same thing kind
- 4:06Speaker 6: of over and over again to her. And just to
- 4:08Speaker 6: go back to the Ben thing, um, You guys actually
- 4:11Speaker 6: did know about Ben because when we were doing Frankie Friday.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I know, I wanted you to come in for this
- 4:16Speaker 2: too because you were doing detective work on some other
- 4:18Speaker 2: guy that you thought she ended up with from the show.
- 4:22Speaker 4: But in fact, she was missing him from before the show.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yep.
- 4:27Speaker 6: So remember we did that deep dive on Frankie Friday
- 4:30Speaker 6: once where she used a very special song on Instagram
- 4:35Speaker 6: and I couldn't track down who the artist was or anything.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:38Speaker 6: And then some of our sleuthy listeners were like, hey,
- 4:40Speaker 6: it's this guy named Ben. He's this singer. So that
- 4:44Speaker 6: was him. So she was seeing him before she was
- 4:48Speaker 6: announced as the Bachelorette. We saw that end up playing
- 4:51Speaker 6: out a little bit on the last season of Secret
- 4:53Speaker 6: Lives of Mormon Wives. Then she says goodbye to him, whatever.
- 4:58Speaker 6: She gets offered the Bachelorette. She's like, yeah, I'm going
- 5:00Speaker 6: to take this. I'm going to do this. And then
- 5:03Speaker 6: in the first episode of season five, she gets home
- 5:06Speaker 6: and she goes, Yeah. Ben like sent me flowers when
- 5:09Speaker 6: I got home and I just got butterflies. Like I've
- 5:12Speaker 6: just always been thinking about him. And like the second
- 5:15Speaker 6: he reached out to me, I knew it was him
- 5:17Speaker 6: and not Doug.
- 5:18Speaker 3: So do we see Ben on secret lives?
- 5:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 6: We see a whole lot of him. We see a
- 5:23Speaker 6: bathtub scene of them. Um, and then I'm not going
- 5:27Speaker 6: to lie. As soon as they have this like romantic
- 5:30Speaker 6: bathtub scene, they meet up in New York. He has
- 5:33Speaker 6: to stay in her hotel room cause they can't be
- 5:34Speaker 6: spotted together. She dumps him at the end of that trip.
- 5:38Speaker 6: And then that's why she did this whole long post.
- 5:42Speaker 6: And Ashley can get into it where she talks about
- 5:45Speaker 6: celibacy and the need to break up with Ben.
- 5:48Speaker 2: OK, I'm sorry, but I don't care about your breakup
- 5:50Speaker 2: with Ben. And she's all like sad about it. And
- 5:53Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm sad that you went on The Bachelor.
- 5:55Speaker 2: You got engaged to this man named Doug and you
- 5:58Speaker 2: went home and started cheating on him so openly that
- 6:00Speaker 2: you were like filming scenes.
- 6:03Speaker 3: With this guy, Ben.
- 6:04Speaker 5: That's where I get confused. And Heather, you have to
- 6:06Speaker 5: help me make sense of this. And so obviously The
- 6:11Speaker 5: Bachelor world is involved. They were excited or intrigued with
- 6:17Speaker 5: Taylor Frankie Paul becoming The Bachelorette. I'm just like kind
- 6:20Speaker 5: of spitballing here because I'm walking through my thought process
- 6:23Speaker 5: trying to make sense of it. And so she ends
- 6:25Speaker 5: up with somebody from The Bachelorette named Doug. And then
- 6:30Speaker 5: she also knows that this, her stepping out on Doug
- 6:34Speaker 5: is going to be shown to the public. Like this
- 6:36Speaker 5: isn't even being done in secrecy. This is being done
- 6:40Speaker 5: so the public will watch on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Heather, this is where my question now comes in. Did
- 6:46Speaker 5: she not think there would be any consequences.
- 6:51Speaker 6: No, quite the opposite. She is very aware the entire
- 6:55Speaker 6: time she's talking about it. She's like, oh, Bachelor Nation
- 6:58Speaker 6: is going to hate me for this. Like, I, you know,
- 7:01Speaker 6: and I'm dead. Like, this is not going to look
- 7:04Speaker 6: good for me. Let's also not forget the fact that
- 7:07Speaker 6: NDA what? She goes around to every single one of
- 7:10Speaker 6: her cast members in the first episode and basically tells
- 7:13Speaker 6: all of them, oh, yeah, this is who I chose. Oh, yeah,
- 7:16Speaker 6: this is who I'm engaged to. Like, every single... on camera,
- 7:22Speaker 6: but it's like, it's not secret. Like there, there was
- 7:24Speaker 6: no keeping this a secret at all. She was walking around.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Everybody knew how her season ended before it aired.
- 7:32Speaker 5: But, but there was a social media videos put out there.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I remember these.
- 7:38Speaker 5: I couldn't reference the exact timeline, but we broke them
- 7:41Speaker 5: down during Frankie Fridays of her and a guy, but
- 7:43Speaker 5: the guy's face was never shown.
- 7:44Speaker 3: It was like his arm was, Yes.
- 7:46Speaker 6: Thank you so much for bringing those up, Ben. They
- 7:50Speaker 6: negate talking about any of that in Secret Lives because
- 7:55Speaker 6: once basically the season gets pulled and we get to
- 7:59Speaker 6: that part of the timeline, that's when they shut down
- 8:02Speaker 6: filming the show.
- 8:04Speaker 2: They say we have shut down filming and then they
- 8:07Speaker 2: say we've resumed now filming?
- 8:10Speaker 6: No, so they shut down filming and they show like
- 8:15Speaker 6: different social media clips talking about the situation and stuff
- 8:19Speaker 6: like that. But like, that's kind of where the season
- 8:22Speaker 6: ends is like, yeah, they did like confessionals and stuff
- 8:27Speaker 6: like that. But yeah, there's not like a storyline after
- 8:30Speaker 6: of like Taylor sits back down in the chair and like,
- 8:35Speaker 6: you know, we see life after, you know, the show,
- 8:38Speaker 6: like all of that is not part of this season.
- 8:40Speaker 6: This is only five episodes this season.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Oh, Okay, so let me read this post, Ben.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I want you to react to it because this is
- 8:51Speaker 2: her post about the guy, Ben, the guy that she
- 8:54Speaker 2: was cheating with. This is a hard post for me
- 8:58Speaker 2: to write because a lot of emotions come to the surface.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Ben is a reminder that there are good men out there.
- 9:03Speaker 2: He was patient, gentle, kind, and understanding and trying to
- 9:06Speaker 2: get me out of a cycle that I was in.
- 9:09Speaker 2: We've gone our separate ways, however— He will make for
- 9:12Speaker 2: an amazing husband and father one day, and I hope
- 9:14Speaker 2: he finds that person to give all that back to him.
- 9:19Speaker 2: She said that her nervous system remembered while watching the
- 9:23Speaker 2: show back what calm felt with him. He helped me
- 9:27Speaker 2: through panic attacks, listened to me cry, held space, and soothed.
- 9:31Speaker 2: He reminded me that I'm a good mother, even struggling,
- 9:33Speaker 2: and I hadn't heard those words in years, which meant
- 9:36Speaker 2: so much to me.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I'm sorry for the heartache I caused and have told
- 9:41Speaker 4: him as well. Wish nothing but the best, blah, blah.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Blah, blah.
- 9:44Speaker 4: It's just like, where's your sorry to Doug?
- 9:47Speaker 3: There's a lot of questions here.
- 9:48Speaker 5: I'm still trying to make sense of this whole thing.
- 9:53Speaker 5: And we haven't really heard a lot from Doug. We've heard,
- 9:56Speaker 5: it feels like, a lot from Shane, who was like
- 10:00Speaker 5: her runner-up or something, I guess, during this season. We
- 10:02Speaker 5: see him out there. He's on a new show. He's
- 10:05Speaker 5: on social media traveling with Bachelorette. We don't hear a
- 10:08Speaker 5: lot from Doug. And it's interesting, you know, this whole thing,
- 10:12Speaker 5: how it's playing out with them– The bachelor world, I
- 10:16Speaker 5: just have a lot of questions and I wish we
- 10:17Speaker 5: could get somebody on who is helping make the decisions.
- 10:20Speaker 5: I don't know if I agree or disagree. I just
- 10:22Speaker 5: don't know what's happening. It's been a long hiatus. The
- 10:25Speaker 5: men were kind of prompt. They tried everything to make
- 10:28Speaker 5: these men like celebrities in their own right or known
- 10:31Speaker 5: by bringing them to events and doing these social media
- 10:34Speaker 5: things with them and promoting who they are as people
- 10:36Speaker 5: and saying how great they were. And then they just
- 10:40Speaker 5: like disappear again and it's a lost season with lost castmates,
- 10:47Speaker 5: cast members, and missing storylines that would help us as
- 10:50Speaker 5: fans of The Bachelor make sense of.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Why they did what they did.
- 10:54Speaker 5: Doug here, I don't know if he's even owed an apology, Ashley.
- 10:58Speaker 3: I don't know anything about the guy. I don't know
- 11:00Speaker 3: anything about their relationship.
- 11:01Speaker 4: I know.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Heather, come back in for a second because I am
- 11:04Speaker 2: right in the fact that she was cheating on Doug
- 11:07Speaker 2: with two people, right?
- 11:08Speaker 4: It may not have been long, but there was a time.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Um, so she only hooks up with Dakota for like
- 11:15Speaker 6: a couple of times and then she stops and then
- 11:18Speaker 6: she starts seeing Ben. So she's not technically seeing like
- 11:21Speaker 6: all three of them at the same time. But yes,
- 11:24Speaker 6: literally her cast member Michaela is like, so are you
- 11:29Speaker 6: going to tell Doug you cheated on him?
- 11:31Speaker 2: And she's like, no, my lawyer might tell him that
- 11:35Speaker 2: we're broken up.
- 11:36Speaker 6: He makes a face at the word cheating. Like she
- 11:38Speaker 6: doesn't consider it cheating. Why?
- 11:41Speaker 4: Because she thinks it's a fake relationship because it came
- 11:42Speaker 4: from the show.
- 11:43Speaker 6: They literally go, she goes something like, it's not really
- 11:47Speaker 6: cheating or it's not really that or something. And they go, yes,
- 11:49Speaker 6: it is. And then they go, that's like rich. Like
- 11:53Speaker 6: if the roles were reversed, like we wouldn't hear the
- 11:56Speaker 6: end of it. Yeah. And so she, and then she
- 12:00Speaker 6: flips and she gets totally like irate one day. And she,
- 12:04Speaker 6: a couple of times, And she explodes on her cast
- 12:07Speaker 6: members because they start joking about this. And then she
- 12:13Speaker 6: ends up apologizing and stuff. But yeah, no. The question
- 12:17Speaker 6: is whether Doug ended up actually knowing about any of
- 12:21Speaker 6: this in advance or did he actually have to find
- 12:24Speaker 6: out about all of this by watching the show? We
- 12:26Speaker 6: don't know.
- 12:27Speaker 5: Well, the new updates from Taylor Frankie Paul is that
- 12:32Speaker 5: she has committed the celibacy. until she meets the man
- 12:37Speaker 5: that she will spend her life with. I don't know
- 12:39Speaker 5: if that's the exact phrasing that she used, but she
- 12:44Speaker 5: is communicating, hey, this behavior is hurting people. Even if
- 12:51Speaker 5: I was upset with the person at the time, it's
- 12:53Speaker 5: still hurting people. It hurt, obviously, Dakota, Ben, Taylor, Frankie, Paul, Doug.
- 12:59Speaker 5: All these people are getting mixed up into this thing.
- 13:02Speaker 5: It just keeps like I feel like as soon as
- 13:04Speaker 5: we kind of like have a grasp of it, Ashley,
- 13:08Speaker 5: and we're starting to understand like, OK, you know, they're
- 13:11Speaker 5: in court. The courts are going to decide. Here's the
- 13:15Speaker 5: situation that happened. I feel like it just opens up
- 13:17Speaker 5: a whole new layer. And I'm like, whoa, what? Like,
- 13:20Speaker 5: how did how did the show ever think they could
- 13:23Speaker 5: air this? Like the Bachelor had to be aware. How
- 13:26Speaker 5: did they ever think this season could make air?
- 13:29Speaker 2: They had to know what she was doing because like
- 13:31Speaker 2: Hulu knew, you know, over with Secret Lives because they
- 13:34Speaker 2: were filming, you know, January, February, and then March was
- 13:39Speaker 2: when it was supposed to start airing.
- 13:40Speaker 5: How did they ever think they could make this happen
- 13:43Speaker 5: and that it would help the franchise?
- 13:44Speaker 3: It would make... There's no path.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Here that I see it helping the franchise other than
- 13:49Speaker 5: one season of viewership, which maybe that's what they were
- 13:51Speaker 5: going for.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it would have been highly viewed and it would
- 13:55Speaker 2: have been so messy because... So it wouldn't have been love-oriented,
- 13:59Speaker 2: but it would have been really messy.
- 14:00Speaker 4: And you know what? We kind of knew that going
- 14:01Speaker 4: into this.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Also worth mentioning that she wasn't really planning on getting
- 14:07Speaker 2: engaged to Doug, but then when he got down on
- 14:09Speaker 2: one knee, she was like, I guess so.
- 14:11Speaker 3: All right. Well, that's the updates.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Former Bachelorette contestant Zach Clark, who's good friends with Caitlin Bristow,
- 14:31Speaker 5: we've seen their support on social media for each other,
- 14:34Speaker 5: caught in flood during half marathons.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Yeah, he was in Paramus, New Jersey, a place where
- 14:40Speaker 2: they have wonderful malls. And this flood was like an
- 14:44Speaker 2: actual river started running through.
- 14:47Speaker 3: People were like holding on to trees.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:50Speaker 4: He showed this on Instagram.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Obviously, everyone was okay, but it definitely made big headlines.
- 14:57Speaker 4: He managed to finish third in his age group.
- 15:01Speaker 3: He's a great runner. This was crazy. I had people.
- 15:04Speaker 5: texting me who's never watched the bachelor and never know
- 15:07Speaker 5: anything about the franchise. We're like, Hey, your boy. Cause
- 15:10Speaker 5: I love Zach. I think Zach's one of the best
- 15:12Speaker 5: humans I've met. Um, your boys that like this poster
- 15:16Speaker 5: child for this race.
- 15:17Speaker 3: And I was watching it. I was like, this is crazy.
- 15:19Speaker 3: One it's flash flooding.
- 15:21Speaker 5: So there's debris obviously flowing down this, you know, path
- 15:24Speaker 5: as well. Uh, obviously you have like strong water currents.
- 15:28Speaker 5: And so who knows like what you're running through and
- 15:31Speaker 5: how fast the water is going. If you fall, uh,
- 15:34Speaker 5: It could be really bad, but nobody did get hurt.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Nobody got hurt. Zach Clark did finish third. Good for him.
- 15:40Speaker 5: And now he's everywhere. He was on every news channel.
- 15:43Speaker 5: He was on all social media. The guy just continues
- 15:48Speaker 5: to find a way to make running cool. I mean,
- 15:50Speaker 5: goodness gracious. He's almost got me convinced to do the
- 15:53Speaker 5: New York Marathon with him because I'm like, I want
- 15:55Speaker 5: to be like Zach.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Maybe I will one day.
- 15:58Speaker 4: I can't believe that you haven't run a marathon. Seems
- 16:01Speaker 4: like a Ben thing to do.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I have terrible knees.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's right.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Comedian Jeff Arcuri says he and Katie Thurston are discussing
- 16:09Speaker 5: surrogacy amid her stage four cancer diagnosis. Ashley, it's been
- 16:14Speaker 5: a bit since we've been given an update on Katie
- 16:20Speaker 5: and kind of where she's at in her breast cancer journey.
- 16:24Speaker 5: And so I think we can kind of do both here, right?
- 16:26Speaker 5: Obviously it's a stage four cancer diagnosis and Jeff is
- 16:29Speaker 5: now talking about future family planning.
- 16:33Speaker 2: So he doesn't, say anything super clearly but he does
- 16:36Speaker 2: have this Netflix special it's called Nice to Meet You
- 16:40Speaker 2: and he's talking about he says that talking about her
- 16:44Speaker 2: cancer journey on stage is actually therapeutic and he says
- 16:50Speaker 2: that she said, do you think that maybe we can
- 16:52Speaker 2: look into surrogacy this year? And then he said, you
- 16:54Speaker 2: just told me that we're doing too much, but we
- 16:57Speaker 2: do a lot of this to ourselves. Yes, our plates
- 17:00Speaker 2: are full, but we made a lot of food on
- 17:03Speaker 2: that plate and we're both very impulsive and we both
- 17:06Speaker 2: have an idea and we'll both be like, yes.
- 17:08Speaker 3: And then we support each other.
- 17:09Speaker 4: And then three months later, we complained that it's too much.
- 17:12Speaker 4: I understand this. Not to the degree that they do, but.
- 17:16Speaker 2: He says, she's my best friend and she reminds me
- 17:18Speaker 2: that I'm funny and she'll stop me and she'll say,
- 17:21Speaker 2: write that down.
- 17:22Speaker 4: And then she'll walk me through it.
- 17:24Speaker 2: And there's been many nights on the road where I've
- 17:26Speaker 2: called her five minutes before a set in front of
- 17:28Speaker 2: a lot of people.
- 17:29Speaker 4: And I said, what's that thing that I said about
- 17:31Speaker 4: peppermint candy? She is my muse in so many ways.
- 17:34Speaker 2: And she likes to challenge me in such a great
- 17:36Speaker 2: way that I could not be here without her.
- 17:38Speaker 4: So obviously.
- 17:41Speaker 2: He pointed out that they are talking about surrogacy, but
- 17:44Speaker 2: we don't get like a lot of meat from that statement,
- 17:47Speaker 2: if you know what I mean.
- 17:49Speaker 5: Ashley, what do you know about Katie's current situation?
- 17:52Speaker 4: I think that, I don't know.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I think that I don't know, but I do know
- 17:59Speaker 2: that she just got chin lipo.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the next headline.
- 18:02Speaker 5: It might be time to bring Katie back on to
- 18:06Speaker 5: the show to kind of hear where she's at, what
- 18:08Speaker 5: she's going through, just to kind of get an update
- 18:11Speaker 5: on her life.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Yeah, because she had the surgery to get it out.
- 18:15Speaker 5: That's the questions that we should be asking Katie or
- 18:18Speaker 5: at least getting it from her rep so that we
- 18:20Speaker 5: can fill you all in because we did promise everybody
- 18:23Speaker 5: that we'd follow that journey closely. And we need to
- 18:26Speaker 5: do that. Hey, as you mentioned, the next headline is
- 18:29Speaker 5: Katie Thurston undergoes chin liposuction amid breast cancer journey.
- 18:35Speaker 4: I kind of love this.
- 18:36Speaker 2: So she said, after so many required medical surgeries, I
- 18:39Speaker 2: decided to do one for myself. I'm all about transparency,
- 18:42Speaker 2: never had Botox or filler. But today I did have
- 18:45Speaker 2: chin lipo. And I love this for her. I don't even.
- 18:52Speaker 4: Know if she had to go under for a lot
- 18:54Speaker 4: of chin lipo. You don't have to.
- 18:56Speaker 2: And she shows some before and after, and she got
- 19:00Speaker 2: like some people messaging her saying like, oh my gosh, like,
- 19:03Speaker 2: why would you like put thought into your chin when
- 19:06Speaker 2: you're going through this? And she's like, um, because I
- 19:09Speaker 2: may have stage four cancer, but I'm planning on living
- 19:11Speaker 2: a long time and I'm going to do what I
- 19:13Speaker 2: want to do. And what's going to make me feel
- 19:15Speaker 2: great about myself. Are you going to tell me not
- 19:16Speaker 2: to shower? Are you going to tell me not to
- 19:19Speaker 2: get manicures? Like, this is what I wanted to do
- 19:21Speaker 2: for myself. And I think I deserve a little treat.
- 19:23Speaker 2: And I was like, hell yeah, Katie.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Great for Katie. Katie's been through it.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Goodness.
- 19:29Speaker 5: It's always, I do, I want to follow up with her, Ashley,
- 19:32Speaker 5: because there's so much that she's been through, gone through.
- 19:36Speaker 5: She's done such a great job at keeping everybody informed
- 19:39Speaker 5: along the journey. And then in great Katie style, she's
- 19:44Speaker 5: still being open and honest with all of us.
- 19:47Speaker 4: And I'm like, do I want chin lipo?
- 19:50Speaker 3: It look good? I haven't seen it.
- 19:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it looks really good.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Go look.
- 19:55Speaker 5: Okay.
- 19:55Speaker 3: What does that do?
- 19:57Speaker 4: It's really minimally invasive.
- 19:59Speaker 2: It's obviously somewhere in between a med spa trip and
- 20:02Speaker 2: an actual plastic surgery.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:04Speaker 4: But I'll show you the before and after.
- 20:06Speaker 3: What does it do, though?
- 20:07Speaker 4: It makes this area look tight.
- 20:10Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 20:11Speaker 2: Like Jared, like, like your jawline, your chin looks like
- 20:14Speaker 2: tighter and you don't have like a gobble gobble.
- 20:18Speaker 5: So I've been doing this thing that Jess has given me.
- 20:20Speaker 5: It like vibrates my mouth.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I saw that. It looks awesome.
- 20:25Speaker 4: You really do it every day?
- 20:27Speaker 3: Every day.
- 20:28Speaker 5: It's very, it's very easy. I mean, it's like five
- 20:30Speaker 5: minutes of my day. I put it in when I
- 20:32Speaker 5: go to bed and then, you know, go to sleep,
- 20:35Speaker 5: but it's.
- 20:35Speaker 4: I know I'm going to need her to hook me
- 20:36Speaker 4: up with one of those.
- 20:37Speaker 3: I mean, look, look at that Ash. Like, look at
- 20:39Speaker 3: my jaw. Is it for your jaw? Is it for
- 20:41Speaker 3: your like cheekbones? I think it just does all of it.
- 20:44Speaker 3: I think it just kind of like, Oh, look at me.
- 20:57Speaker 5: The mob season one, first look photos and premier date.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Okay.
- 21:02Speaker 5: So the mob is this new show, Ashley, that, Hulu
- 21:05Speaker 5: is putting out there. The reason we even have it
- 21:08Speaker 5: on our headlines is because there are some Bachelor Nation
- 21:12Speaker 5: people a part of it. Some we know, some we
- 21:15Speaker 5: don't know, but I guess we will get to know them.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Yeah, so this is going to be Hulu ABC's version
- 21:22Speaker 2: of Traitors. It is by the people who created Traitors.
- 21:28Speaker 2: And in every episode, they will tackle mob movie inspired
- 21:31Speaker 2: jobs to survive. But every mob family needs a don
- 21:35Speaker 2: and whoever they choose will have absolute power deciding who
- 21:39Speaker 2: makes money, who stays and who ultimately gets whacked. There
- 21:43Speaker 2: is going to be Bruno from Dancing with the Stars,
- 21:45Speaker 2: Demi from Secret Lives, Harry Jossie, who is probably, I
- 21:52Speaker 2: want to say the biggest reality star on here.
- 21:54Speaker 3: He's on everything, though.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 21:56Speaker 2: He's like literally... Dude, how do you do anything? It's
- 22:01Speaker 2: because he doesn't have kids in his life. Chelsea Laskani,
- 22:07Speaker 2: who I don't know from Selling Sunset. Debbie Mazur, who
- 22:10Speaker 2: you know from Entourage and a lot of things, Younger.
- 22:14Speaker 2: William Belli from RuPaul's Drag Race. And then we have
- 22:19Speaker 2: Maria and Shane from our Bachelor franchise. And okay, I
- 22:22Speaker 2: can keep going, going. But Joe Gorga is also on it,
- 22:25Speaker 2: which gives me hope that if this is a hit
- 22:27Speaker 2: that I could maybe be on it because they're letting
- 22:30Speaker 2: Bravo talent over there.
- 22:31Speaker 3: You kind of skipped over the two Bachelor people.
- 22:33Speaker 4: No, I just say I was going to go back.
- 22:34Speaker 4: So it's Maria and Shane from Bachelor.
- 22:37Speaker 2: And Shane is from Taylor's season, which is really interesting
- 22:40Speaker 2: that they would put him on another Hulu ABC show
- 22:44Speaker 2: as if he was like a celebrity because like obviously
- 22:47Speaker 2: we don't know him he's just really a random so
- 22:51Speaker 2: they wanted him in my head to get some fame
- 22:54Speaker 2: from it like to become a personality so that possibly
- 22:57Speaker 2: they could put him on Bachelorette again or be the
- 23:01Speaker 2: lead of Bachelor and then Maria who decided to not
- 23:06Speaker 2: ever do Paradise but obviously wanted I think to branch
- 23:10Speaker 2: away from the franchise she is now On this show.
- 23:13Speaker 2: And she's kind of mobby, so I understand that choice.
- 23:17Speaker 2: If it does well, then maybe you and I can
- 23:20Speaker 2: both be on it because they chose two Bachelor people here.
- 23:23Speaker 3: I would love that. I would love to do a
- 23:25Speaker 3: show with you again, Ashley.
- 23:26Speaker 4: I would like to do a show with you, too.
- 23:27Speaker 2: But I'm really bad at gameplay, so I'm not sure.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but we could be teammates and push each other, right?
- 23:35Speaker 4: Okay, yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I think it would be fun. We should really start
- 23:39Speaker 3: to push for that.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Okay, I'll call Rob Mills.
- 23:42Speaker 5: I think it'd be a lot of fun in our
- 23:44Speaker 5: stages of life. Like last time we were on a
- 23:46Speaker 5: show together, we were both single trying to figure the
- 23:47Speaker 5: world out. Now we're like pretty settled in.
- 23:50Speaker 3: We're like pretty boring now. Well, we have a lot
- 23:52Speaker 3: less to lose.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I actually think we could like shock the world by
- 23:56Speaker 5: like the stuff we do and say and how far
- 23:58Speaker 5: we're willing to go to win because we know we're
- 24:01Speaker 5: coming back home to somebody that loves us.
- 24:02Speaker 3: It doesn't matter.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't have to be cool.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I have nothing to gain from cool status. I
- 24:08Speaker 5: only have something to gain.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Financially, financially. Yeah. We'll be crazy for money. Actually.
- 24:17Speaker 2: I think I prove often with housewives that I will
- 24:21Speaker 2: not be crazy.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Oh, we love you.
- 24:25Speaker 5: Hey, um, we haven't talked about this in a while.
- 24:27Speaker 5: Let's close up with this. Ashley life is going great.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Your sister is amazing. Um, you should go and listen
- 24:35Speaker 5: to the recaps of the ultimate girls trip. Um, the
- 24:39Speaker 5: roaring 20th season reunion thing that Lauren and I have
- 24:43Speaker 5: been breaking down. She is an incredible co-host who has
- 24:46Speaker 5: learned a lot from her sister, you can tell.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Aw, that's so sweet.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Yeah, she's great.
- 24:51Speaker 5: So go and listen to that if you got time.
- 24:55Speaker 5: But everything else, we'll be here breaking it down on
