- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to a DM podcast.
- 0:03Speaker 2: We'll try to keep it as nice as we can,
- 0:05Speaker 2: but you might hear the occasional swear word in No
- 0:07Speaker 2: Dribble Don't tell Mom. Hello, and welcome back to No Dribble,
- 0:22Speaker 2: the podcast where we talk about netball. We talk about
- 0:24Speaker 2: a whole lot of other things besides. I am Carolyn
- 0:27Speaker 2: Swindell and I'm so happy that I'm back in Sydney.
- 0:30Speaker 2: But I'm not alone this week.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Yay. I'm excited to be back with you. It's Catherine.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Everyone, Hello, Hello, Hello, you're still not here, thy boss?
- 0:39Speaker 3: No, No, I'm Liz and I'm nowhere near you to
- 0:43Speaker 3: figure and literally.
- 0:45Speaker 4: So there you go.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I think emotionally we're very connected, though, right.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Oh, look, emotionally we are so connected. We're so in tune.
- 0:52Speaker 3: We're not so in tune that our menopause. No, no, no, menopause.
- 0:55Speaker 3: We're our menstrual cycles are maybe our metopause.
- 0:59Speaker 2: They were.
- 1:01Speaker 3: God, I'm sure Catherine and I were at one point.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Have to have been. Anyway, I'm back.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I'm so glad and I'm much relieved that you're back
- 1:10Speaker 2: because I saw something in the news just before recording
- 1:13Speaker 2: that would have led me to panic, were you're not back?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Some woman got mauled by a tiger at one of
- 1:17Speaker 2: the theme parks on the GC, So.
- 1:20Speaker 1: It's not you, clearly, No.
- 1:22Speaker 2: You've been back for longer than that.
- 1:23Speaker 1: No way. Yeah, where dream World?
- 1:26Speaker 2: I guess? So, yeah, tiger's at the back, that's who
- 1:29Speaker 2: you go there.
- 1:30Speaker 1: No, that is the only place we didn't go. My
- 1:32Speaker 1: sister Bloody, she bought us a park pass for Christmas
- 1:37Speaker 1: that goes for the twelve months and it's four of
- 1:40Speaker 1: the theme parks and you can go as much as
- 1:42Speaker 1: you want. So of course you feel like you've got
- 1:43Speaker 1: to get your money's worth. Every time I'm in Queensland.
- 1:45Speaker 1: We tootled to at least two or three of them.
- 1:47Speaker 1: But dream World is not on there, and that sounds
- 1:50Speaker 1: like a good thing.
- 1:50Speaker 4: So which one did you go to this time?
- 1:52Speaker 1: We went to Sea World and I got lugged to
- 1:57Speaker 1: Movie World and Elizabeth Harper wanted to go on a
- 2:02Speaker 1: rollercoaster and we had this conversation a couple of weeks
- 2:06Speaker 1: ago about not letting your kids adopt the fears that
- 2:09Speaker 1: are your own, and so what do you think I
- 2:12Speaker 1: had to do? I tried to distract her.
- 2:15Speaker 4: You had to go on the roll.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I has to go on it. Granted it was a
- 2:18Speaker 1: kid's one, but not that was Oh wow, it was
- 2:22Speaker 1: still intense. Really it was. It actually was. I the
- 2:26Speaker 1: whole way round had my eyes closed. And we got
- 2:29Speaker 1: off it and she's like, mummy swore a bit, and
- 2:32Speaker 1: I said what do you mean? And then I thought
- 2:33Speaker 1: about it, and the whole way I was going, oh shit,
- 2:35Speaker 1: oh shit, oh shit.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Oh shit, Oh that's funny.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I mean, mind you you are someone who when we
- 2:41Speaker 3: went to disney So we went to Disneyland, what fifteen
- 2:43Speaker 3: years ago, and there was you, me and Matthew and
- 2:46Speaker 3: my mum, and you were so excited. So we'd been
- 2:50Speaker 3: on this trip around America and Catherine wanted to go
- 2:53Speaker 3: to Disneyland, so La was the last portocoll and she's like,
- 2:56Speaker 3: let's go to Disneyland. And you were so excited. Do
- 2:58Speaker 3: you remember, Yes, you were just like a kid going
- 3:01Speaker 3: to disneyl and Matthew and I are a bit like,
- 3:03Speaker 3: we don't really want to go to Disneyland, but I'm
- 3:04Speaker 3: going to take the child, so she wants to go.
- 3:07Speaker 4: So we got there and you had been so excited.
- 3:10Speaker 4: But as soon as you got there.
- 3:11Speaker 3: The very first ride we went to go on was
- 3:13Speaker 3: a Nemo ride, and you had to go in and
- 3:16Speaker 3: under in this submarine, and we all sat down and
- 3:19Speaker 3: literally twenty seconds later, Catherine's like, I'm out, I'm out.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I can't do the Nemo ride. I feel too claustrophobic.
- 3:24Speaker 3: So she gets there. Matthew and I are sitting there
- 3:27Speaker 3: going well, we tried to go sort of low key
- 3:29Speaker 3: for Catherine's first one. So here we are on the
- 3:31Speaker 3: Nemo ride. And then the next thing we went on
- 3:33Speaker 3: was the Dumbo ride flying Elephant as the Kid's ride.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Please Catherine, that damn you got on.
- 3:41Speaker 3: But she crapped her pants and so the whole day,
- 3:44Speaker 3: Matthew and I we totally changed our attitude.
- 3:47Speaker 4: We're like, yay Disneyland.
- 3:49Speaker 3: And the best photo that Matthew has ever taken was
- 3:51Speaker 3: of him and Mickey Mouse together. He's like and he
- 3:57Speaker 3: Matthew and I went on all these great rides and
- 3:59Speaker 3: Catherine like became the mom just stating there holding out bag,
- 4:02Speaker 3: tapping his feet.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I still loved it. I still had a great day.
- 4:06Speaker 1: But you would be shocked at how brave I am. Now.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I mean, well, bro, it's probably not the right word.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It's roller coaster.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It still packs a punch, don't you mock me? Well,
- 4:16Speaker 1: are you a roller coaster fan?
- 4:18Speaker 2: No, No I'm not. I'll do them. I like roller
- 4:21Speaker 2: coasters better than those rides that so there's like a
- 4:24Speaker 2: Star Wars ride or that. When I went to the
- 4:27Speaker 2: Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the one inside and it's
- 4:29Speaker 2: a whole lot of video stuff and you're moving around
- 4:31Speaker 2: your chair and you're inside.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I like, Oh, I love that.
- 4:33Speaker 2: No, they make me feel sick. I spent the whole
- 4:35Speaker 2: time thinking, don't vomit, don't vomit, don't vomit. Whereas a
- 4:38Speaker 2: roller coaster it's just I'm outside, so I'm happier. I
- 4:42Speaker 2: don't like them. I don't like theme parks at all.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Everybody's got their thing and wild. I love that.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I love a water slide park because I love to
- 4:50Speaker 2: have tin here, right obviously, Yes, Oh god, do.
- 4:56Speaker 4: You remember the gravitron? Remember those ones around and the
- 5:00Speaker 4: floor would drop away.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I remember when I was a kid that would go
- 5:04Speaker 3: to the Hawksbury show and there was always a horror
- 5:06Speaker 3: story someone vomiting on the gravitron and the being stuck
- 5:10Speaker 3: on everybody that was in there, because what could you
- 5:13Speaker 3: drive up to wipe your face?
- 5:15Speaker 1: What changes as you become an adult because we used
- 5:17Speaker 1: to love that as a kid. I never got sick,
- 5:19Speaker 1: But as soon as you get me on one of
- 5:20Speaker 1: those spinny things at the park, I'm dizzy for days.
- 5:23Speaker 2: They're awful. I went on the gravitron at Luna Park.
- 5:26Speaker 2: We went there for Lewis's ninth birthday. Took a bunch
- 5:29Speaker 2: of kids there, and I thought, I'm going to go
- 5:30Speaker 2: on that. I used to love that, and I went
- 5:32Speaker 2: on it and I was fine. But for every minute
- 5:34Speaker 2: I spent on the ride, so let's say three, I
- 5:37Speaker 2: was nauseous for an hour, like it was just ye,
- 5:40Speaker 2: it did not leave me. It was like I didn't
- 5:42Speaker 2: disgrace myself or my son, which was good, but never again.
- 5:45Speaker 2: That is too that the return on that investment of
- 5:49Speaker 2: time is too much.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I wonder if you just sort of start to
- 5:53Speaker 3: think like you have a better understanding of all the
- 5:55Speaker 3: shit that can go wrong.
- 5:57Speaker 1: That's my biggest feal a kid. Yeah, you don't at all,
- 6:00Speaker 1: do you? And she had the biggest smile on the face.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And if you haven't seen my personal Instagram, I posted
- 6:05Speaker 1: a photo that was you know they take the photos
- 6:07Speaker 1: mid ride, and it's me with my eyes closed and
- 6:10Speaker 1: looking like I'm going to cry and Harper is ballistic
- 6:12Speaker 1: having the best time ever. But I'll post it on
- 6:14Speaker 1: our no drivele socials and Facebook if you haven't already
- 6:17Speaker 1: seen it. But yeah, no, I'm done now.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Did I see that you too? Are you too? Too tall?
- 6:21Speaker 4: Both of you? The carousel we.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Had some funny experiences. I got to say, some Sea World.
- 6:27Speaker 1: We wanted to go on the little carousel, just as
- 6:29Speaker 1: it something to do to start when we got nostalgia. Yeah,
- 6:33Speaker 1: And we walked over and they looked at me and said, oh, sorry,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I think you're too tall, and then looked at Harp
- 6:38Speaker 1: and goes, yeah, you won't be able to as well.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And I just burst out laughing because I was like,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I understand, I'm too tall. I've had that my whole life.
- 6:44Speaker 1: She's eight, How is that possible? So we still went
- 6:48Speaker 1: on it, but we had to sit on these seats,
- 6:49Speaker 1: these wooden benches that were just in the middle of
- 6:51Speaker 1: it going nowhere what the horses were going up and down?
- 6:54Speaker 2: The most boring thing we went to Disneyland in Japan
- 6:58Speaker 2: and I did my degree in Japan. He's thirty years
- 7:01Speaker 2: ago and used to be quite good at but I
- 7:02Speaker 2: don't speak Japanese much emial, but when we went there
- 7:04Speaker 2: with the kids in twenty nineteen, I had to have
- 7:07Speaker 2: a conversation and really plumb the depths of my recollection
- 7:11Speaker 2: of the Japanese language. When the woman was trying to
- 7:13Speaker 2: explain that Pete was possibly too big to go on
- 7:15Speaker 2: any of the rights, so we had to get taken
- 7:18Speaker 2: backstage to get him to sit in like a one
- 7:21Speaker 2: of the unused carriages to show whether he would be
- 7:23Speaker 2: big enough. And this this was during the Rugby World
- 7:26Speaker 2: Cup in twenty nineteen, so it's like you got a
- 7:28Speaker 2: lot of big rugby players in town at the moment,
- 7:30Speaker 2: and this guy's too big for the roller coaster. But anyway,
- 7:33Speaker 2: happy news. We were allowed to go on Space Mountain
- 7:35Speaker 2: and he wasn't decapitated, so oh that is He's a
- 7:38Speaker 2: great result.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Yeah, Catherine, you had a great weekend at SeaWorld.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Some of us still had netball on, you know.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Oh, I know, I can't wait to hear because I
- 7:49Speaker 1: apparently you've posted about your team and it's finals campaign,
- 7:53Speaker 1: which I don't know about yet, but Elizabeth, what happened.
- 7:57Speaker 3: We had our last round match, and I thought we
- 8:00Speaker 3: had to win it to end up in second or
- 8:03Speaker 3: third place because finals A one v four, two v three,
- 8:06Speaker 3: and so I was all geed up.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Anyway, Saturday up here, it.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Was thirty five degrees when we played at five pm.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Don't forget we are still in winter climate change, you say.
- 8:16Speaker 3: So we turned up and my goal shooter turned up
- 8:20Speaker 3: and she'd been in Bali for two weeks with her family,
- 8:23Speaker 3: and she'd caught Bali belly three days before, so she
- 8:26Speaker 3: looked dreadful. I got probably twenty minutes out of her.
- 8:30Speaker 3: My daughter had had the flu for two weeks, so
- 8:32Speaker 3: I got sort of fifteen minutes at gold defence, and
- 8:34Speaker 3: then I.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Had to move it back.
- 8:35Speaker 3: I had to borrow another player from elsewhere. So now
- 8:38Speaker 3: we got pumped. But I was just so proud of
- 8:41Speaker 3: my team for being able to play. One girl who
- 8:43Speaker 3: I running center, she came off and puked from the heat.
- 8:47Speaker 3: At one point it was so unbelievably hot. So they
- 8:51Speaker 3: reduced all the quarters from fifteen minutes down to ten minutes.
- 8:54Speaker 3: I think it gave us longer breaks in between but
- 8:56Speaker 3: it was so difficult, and I thought, my god, if
- 8:59Speaker 3: this is what the future going to look like, we
- 9:01Speaker 3: have to start playing that ball at five am so
- 9:03Speaker 3: that we don't all bake.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Well they do they do in far North Queensland. They
- 9:07Speaker 1: start really early and finished before the heat. Yeah, Christ,
- 9:11Speaker 1: it's nuts yet, So did you have the heat down here?
- 9:15Speaker 2: It was hot. It wasn't thirty five degrees and we
- 9:17Speaker 2: were playing at nine point thirty, notin at twelve forty five,
- 9:19Speaker 2: but it was hot. My sena had to come off
- 9:21Speaker 2: with virtual heat strike in quarter four.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So the question are you playing next week?
- 9:26Speaker 2: I'm not playing. Oh man. They did a great job though,
- 9:30Speaker 2: so we were behind in the first quarter, we were
- 9:32Speaker 2: drawn at halftime, we were head at the three quarter time,
- 9:35Speaker 2: but then in the fourth quarter, mine were just dropping
- 9:38Speaker 2: like flies. I had one head of sprained risk, my
- 9:40Speaker 2: sena had to come off with a bit of heat stroke.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I had four girls in tears. I'm having to use
- 9:45Speaker 2: the rolling sub for the first time ever because my
- 9:47Speaker 2: daughter had gastro last week and it's like her battery
- 9:51Speaker 2: just ran out, and it's like, well, I can't leave
- 9:53Speaker 2: her out there, knowing that I've got two perfectly healthy
- 9:56Speaker 2: subs here and it's like, well, honey, you're not going
- 9:59Speaker 2: to like this, but you to come off, and she
- 10:01Speaker 2: came off, and so anyway, we went down, but the
- 10:03Speaker 2: other team definitely deserved to win. And what I love
- 10:06Speaker 2: about under elevens is that it was one of the
- 10:08Speaker 2: girl's birthdays, so she had cupcakes. So one second they
- 10:10Speaker 2: were really sad and next seconds like, oh cupcakes fantastic.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Always worked for me.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Yeah, that happened to us last year in the Grand Final.
- 10:18Speaker 3: We lost the Grand Final and all the families decided.
- 10:21Speaker 4: That like the girls were bereft right.
- 10:23Speaker 3: They were so disappointed because they beat this team by
- 10:26Speaker 3: one or two goals in the semi so they were
- 10:28Speaker 3: feeling really good. We lost the Grand Final. After the
- 10:30Speaker 3: Grand Final, all the families went to the pub. The
- 10:32Speaker 3: girls had to swim. The pubs right on the beach.
- 10:35Speaker 3: The girls had to swim and a play in the water.
- 10:36Speaker 3: We all had lunch, and by that afternoon they were
- 10:39Speaker 3: over it. I am still not over it, and I
- 10:41Speaker 3: still pull level and aside and go sweetheart, what about
- 10:44Speaker 3: my decision in She's.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Like, mom, Mum, the Grand Final was last year. You
- 10:48Speaker 4: have to let it go.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Well, I'm pleased to hear that, because I keep replaying
- 10:51Speaker 2: this and thinking if I hadn't moved her then, if
- 10:53Speaker 2: I'd done that then and I didn't have rested her,
- 10:55Speaker 2: And I keep replaying this game and what could I
- 10:58Speaker 2: have done differently? But these my girls have in their
- 11:01Speaker 2: respective teams, have not ever played netball without getting to
- 11:06Speaker 2: a grand final or the grand final equivalent in their
- 11:08Speaker 2: age group. So this is actually really good for them.
- 11:11Speaker 2: So most they've got all these trophies at home and things,
- 11:14Speaker 2: and it's like, that's what you can lose this. It's like, yes,
- 11:17Speaker 2: you can, so remember this. Remember this. They're like, yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 2: we had cupcakes.
- 11:20Speaker 1: It was true.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I'll remember it well.
- 11:24Speaker 3: The thing that ruins kids' sports of parents and grown up.
- 11:27Speaker 3: So there you go, there's a lesson for all of us.
- 11:29Speaker 3: I'm almost over. I'll be over in time to get
- 11:31Speaker 3: you for this year's finals, which kickoff on Saturday.
- 11:33Speaker 1: But Eliza, this is exactly why your husband was so
- 11:37Speaker 1: relieved that your last game of netball was a win
- 11:40Speaker 1: at a World Cup, because can you imagine you're like
- 11:44Speaker 1: this with a kid's game of netball?
- 11:48Speaker 3: Well, you know that was that two thousand and seven
- 11:50Speaker 3: World Cup, and at the end of that world my
- 11:52Speaker 3: sister turned to my husband and he was like tears
- 11:55Speaker 3: running down his face and.
- 11:56Speaker 4: She said, oh, you must be so proud. He goes, no,
- 11:59Speaker 4: I'm so relieved. If she hadn't lost, it would have
- 12:01Speaker 4: been a long life together.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Because he's spot on.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Yeah, he would have started me on the menopause gil
- 12:09Speaker 3: when I was thirty.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Anyway, so we do still have between us. We have
- 12:14Speaker 2: one one team left in the in the finals. Good
- 12:16Speaker 2: luck for next week. I've got one week off and
- 12:18Speaker 2: then we start summer netball.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Oh no, rest for the wicket, do you and it'll
- 12:22Speaker 1: be freezing for.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Someone noles indoors. We do not train, and it's like,
- 12:26Speaker 2: if you need a week off, don't worry about it.
- 12:28Speaker 2: We've got a big squad, so it's like everyone gets
- 12:30Speaker 2: plays out of position.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Oh, I'd happily coach that.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it's much nicer. Yeah, it's just the girls
- 12:35Speaker 2: just like playing netble. So it's like, great, well we'll
- 12:37Speaker 2: show up and we'll play netble.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Yeah that's nice.
- 12:39Speaker 3: We did that at our association and all the kids
- 12:41Speaker 3: turn up in like fancy dress. So there's teams that
- 12:43Speaker 3: we're two two's and it's super social, it's so nice
- 12:47Speaker 3: and it's absolutely smash the growth rates for the sport
- 12:52Speaker 3: because we get so many new players coming to never
- 12:54Speaker 3: played before, and because it's low key, they go, I'd
- 12:56Speaker 3: like to play next year and there you.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Go, that's cool. And that's exactly what the net all
- 13:00Speaker 1: Marathon people will have to do when it comes to
- 13:02Speaker 1: day three and probably day two, just to forget about
- 13:06Speaker 1: what they're actually doing and the fact that they've been
- 13:08Speaker 1: going for one hundred hours already.
- 13:10Speaker 2: There's something going on there, isn't there. So we've made
- 13:13Speaker 2: a donation and there's another six dollars has been donated.
- 13:17Speaker 2: So we need to get to the bottom of that
- 13:18Speaker 2: netball marathon because it's gone to be quiet. We found it,
- 13:21Speaker 2: we got excited, but it's not. There doesn't seem to
- 13:24Speaker 2: be a lot of noise about it.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Come on, there's six dollars from me because I ticked
- 13:28Speaker 3: the box to say we're happy to cover the costs
- 13:30Speaker 3: of administration.
- 13:34Speaker 2: We have of our donation to go to Disability Sports Australia,
- 13:37Speaker 2: but would love to know what's going on with that event,
- 13:39Speaker 2: so we'll try to get onto that this week.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Please don't let us be the only sponsors.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Hi.
- 13:48Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys can hear it, but
- 13:49Speaker 3: my office has some little bushes outside.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Can you hear the boom? There's a beautiful little blue wren.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Yes, it's annoying.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Do you reckon?
- 13:59Speaker 1: You can?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Can't shoot it or something?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Listen to you. In my head, I'm picturing a Cinderella
- 14:04Speaker 1: moment or a snow white moment. Maybe you want princess.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Your friend wants to sing and have the birds flit
- 14:13Speaker 3: it down on her fingers or my fingers. I I
- 14:16Speaker 3: just might, But no, they're building and there so very cute,
- 14:19Speaker 3: but they are. They actually wake my daughter up every
- 14:21Speaker 3: morning because her bedroom window is near mine, and they
- 14:23Speaker 3: get up and like all the insects that get caught
- 14:26Speaker 3: in the fly screens, and like they're picking at that
- 14:30Speaker 3: at five am.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Drives are insane to your idyllic life.
- 14:34Speaker 1: You go, you plane their ball, you go to the
- 14:36Speaker 1: pub which is right on the beach, and the kids
- 14:38Speaker 1: are having fun and you've got the birds tweeting outside
- 14:40Speaker 1: the window.
- 14:41Speaker 2: So were you on the Gold Coast last week in
- 14:43Speaker 2: Bali the week before? But I'm not.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Now I'm in a little video. It's bloody hot sitting
- 14:47Speaker 1: next to.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I've got the tiny little violin.
- 14:54Speaker 2: All right, we need to talk about some netball shortly,
- 14:56Speaker 2: but I want to know whether either of you have
- 14:58Speaker 2: ever encountered a situation? Is there some sort of authority
- 15:01Speaker 2: that I can appeal to to get my tooth fairy replaced?
- 15:04Speaker 2: I think that she might drink. She's unreliable, often doesn't
- 15:09Speaker 2: show up on the right night, and has on a
- 15:12Speaker 2: number of occasions seem to have shown up twice and
- 15:16Speaker 2: paid twice. So I would like us to be allocated
- 15:18Speaker 2: to a different tooth fairy, because, yeah, we're having problems.
- 15:22Speaker 1: With us, So questioned Dot still believes in the tooth Fairy?
- 15:25Speaker 1: Or she's smart enough to know the longer she pretends
- 15:28Speaker 1: to believe the coins are coming? Or is it notes?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Well, sometimes it's been notes apparently, So I obviously was
- 15:35Speaker 2: talking about Katherine.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Are you saying you don't believe in the tooth Fairy?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Like?
- 15:40Speaker 4: What's wrong with you?
- 15:41Speaker 2: What sort of monstery?
- 15:43Speaker 3: My question is I thought there was just one tooth Fairy,
- 15:46Speaker 3: like there's just one Santa and just one eister Bunny.
- 15:48Speaker 3: You're saying that the tooth Fairy is a multiplicity of people. Yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 3: what is that tooth fairy sisterhood?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Well I thought I thought that you just got someone
- 15:55Speaker 2: for your neighborhood, because it's a lot of work for
- 15:57Speaker 2: one tooth fairy.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Right then magic, but they're fairies and by definition they've
- 16:02Speaker 4: got magic.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah, well mine has some pretty dodgy magic going on.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I'll tell you so. Because the number of times that
- 16:08Speaker 2: we have woken up and the tooth fairy has neglected
- 16:11Speaker 2: to show on the appropriate night. We once had a
- 16:15Speaker 2: letter of apology from the tooth fairy. She comes back
- 16:17Speaker 2: to night. Yeah, yeah, eventually she'll show.
- 16:19Speaker 3: It, right.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I think what she does is set alarms in her
- 16:22Speaker 2: phone for after the time that the children go to
- 16:25Speaker 2: bed and go, oh that's right, okay, well before I
- 16:27Speaker 2: go to bed, I better finish this. I don't know though,
- 16:29Speaker 2: because that's the tooth fairy system.
- 16:30Speaker 1: So when you say sometimes she comes twice, what's the
- 16:33Speaker 1: most amount of cash the kids have woken up too?
- 16:37Speaker 2: Twenty bucks?
- 16:38Speaker 4: What?
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yes, one too? I pull in my teeth. Would that be?
- 16:41Speaker 2: I know?
- 16:42Speaker 1: Right? What?
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah?
- 16:43Speaker 3: So I feel like our tooth fairy has plays favorites,
- 16:48Speaker 3: and certainly our first child was her favorite, because when
- 16:52Speaker 3: our first child lost her teeth, she got certificates.
- 16:56Speaker 4: And everything from the tenth wh god.
- 16:58Speaker 3: When the second child came along and he lost his teeth,
- 17:01Speaker 3: he was likely to get a smack in the chops
- 17:03Speaker 3: and twenty cents under his pillo.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I would say that your tooth fairy was a bloody
- 17:06Speaker 2: idiot with your first child, though, wasn't.
- 17:08Speaker 1: She single parenting as a single parent the tooth fairy
- 17:12Speaker 1: situation is difficult as well. They're definitely different tooth faories
- 17:15Speaker 1: when they're going to different houses, which is.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Problematic, different yield per two different.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, different, different everything, which is and there's questions coming
- 17:25Speaker 1: like just take the money and shut up about it.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, the tooth fairy should probably.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Check in though totally. Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:32Speaker 1: There needs to be some sort of consistency.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I think it's sort of preparing children for later in
- 17:36Speaker 3: life where you probably shouldn't talk about what you earn
- 17:39Speaker 3: with other workplace in coloss.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yes like that.
- 17:42Speaker 3: The kids should probably learn not to have that conversation
- 17:45Speaker 3: with other kids about what the tooth fairy brings.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Should but they don't do they.
- 17:51Speaker 3: No, no, And do you know I feel for our
- 17:54Speaker 3: tooth fairy. I do feel very sorry. For them because
- 17:59Speaker 3: my children like to led us to the tooth Fairy
- 18:01Speaker 3: and they ask us some very personal questions to think
- 18:04Speaker 3: of the answers.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Like a question being how old are you?
- 18:09Speaker 4: Where do you live?
- 18:10Speaker 2: Wow?
- 18:11Speaker 4: What do you do when you're not?
- 18:12Speaker 1: You know tooth fairy?
- 18:15Speaker 2: The tooth fairy responded to how old are you? I'm
- 18:17Speaker 2: interested to the answer that question.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Yep, the age changes with every letter.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Okay, well, this is what I think. There's more than
- 18:24Speaker 2: one tooth fairy. I think different because there were tooth
- 18:26Speaker 2: fairies around when we were kids, right, So either they're super.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Literate, I think, because no one ever thought to write
- 18:32Speaker 3: them a letter, and as if they would have bothered
- 18:34Speaker 3: to write back.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I have a very big question though. Does the tooth
- 18:38Speaker 1: fairy keep the teeth? What does she do with them?
- 18:41Speaker 2: She immediately throws them out because keeping them is disgusting.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I think ours keeps them?
- 18:46Speaker 2: Really?
- 18:46Speaker 4: Yeah? Where would yours keep them?
- 18:48Speaker 5: Just?
- 18:48Speaker 1: You know, I just think there's you know those old
- 18:50Speaker 1: camera what's the bit of the cameras?
- 18:54Speaker 2: Second, the penis, Oh no, hang on.
- 19:02Speaker 1: The camera film? You know the little the canister. It's
- 19:06Speaker 1: been a big day. I'm pretty sure there's some teeth in.
- 19:09Speaker 2: There, But what would the tooth fairy want to do
- 19:13Speaker 2: with these in the future.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I think one day she might want to show them.
- 19:18Speaker 1: And the conversation's really When my.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Son was about about six or seven, he came home
- 19:26Speaker 2: and said, hey, Mum, you know some of the kids
- 19:28Speaker 2: at school says the tooth Fairy is just the parents.
- 19:31Speaker 2: And we just fell about laughing because it's like, well, why,
- 19:35Speaker 2: like on what planet would we give you money for
- 19:38Speaker 2: a tooth that has fallen out of your head? Why
- 19:41Speaker 2: would we want to keep that? And why would we
- 19:43Speaker 2: give you money for something? And he just sort of thought, yeah,
- 19:47Speaker 2: that checks out. You're right, there is no way a
- 19:50Speaker 2: parent would do that. Well, I feel like we should
- 19:52Speaker 2: move on, but thank you for letting that. Is there
- 19:55Speaker 2: any netball we need.
- 19:56Speaker 1: To talk about? My head really hurt.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Want the tooth fairy play if there was, If there
- 20:03Speaker 3: was a tooth Fairy center.
- 20:06Speaker 1: She's a goal shooter, she can know, but do you
- 20:09Speaker 1: see how much she gets done?
- 20:11Speaker 2: This is the do you see what a team player
- 20:14Speaker 2: she is? But she does drink. I said, yeah, so she.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Can fly though, So she just flies up and puts
- 20:20Speaker 1: the ball in. That's a no brainer.
- 20:21Speaker 2: It's too scary to go flying for.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Her when she's drinking. That's okay, it's got to stop.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Liz, what do you think what position do you think
- 20:31Speaker 2: the Tooth Fairy would play?
- 20:32Speaker 4: Well, I don't know.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I'm trying to think of like the positions for like
- 20:36Speaker 3: the Tooth.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Fairy and Santa, Santa, Missus Claus, the Easter Bunny.
- 20:43Speaker 1: What's Santa?
- 20:44Speaker 4: I think Santa's a goal shooter.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I would have said shooter.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I think he's the coach. Stop, okay, you bastards.
- 20:53Speaker 2: And the bunnies obviously like a wing defense, just spreading
- 20:57Speaker 2: sunshine and joy.
- 20:58Speaker 1: We'll see. I would have thought that was the into
- 21:00Speaker 1: stopping anyway, the Sena starts with the ball is giving
- 21:03Speaker 1: all righters.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Why don't you tell us what positions that we if
- 21:06Speaker 2: we were able to make this super team and get
- 21:09Speaker 2: it on court, Whether if we had Santa, we had
- 21:11Speaker 2: Missus Clausey Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, who else is there?
- 21:15Speaker 1: I don't know, but I feel like we've lost a
- 21:16Speaker 1: lot of listeners off the back of this coms.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Well, we need to be ready if these guys show
- 21:23Speaker 2: up for a game one day. We need to know
- 21:24Speaker 2: that bibbs we're giving them. Although I think this is
- 21:26Speaker 2: a nice segue maybe we should talk about some Netflix.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I think we totally should. And there's a reason I'm
- 21:32Speaker 1: wearing this particular badge. It's got I can't see this
- 21:36Speaker 1: camera angle, but I got my Georgie.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Horges Georgie Horne's madge.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Because she's been announced in the extended team.
- 21:43Speaker 2: That's great, isn't it.
- 21:44Speaker 1: It's very exciting. It's actually a really exciting looking team
- 21:48Speaker 1: that've announced because there's potentially three debutantes Elizabeth Ellis, there's
- 21:53Speaker 1: going to be another Elis maybe playing for Australia, and
- 21:56Speaker 1: that's a selection I don't think many people saw coming.
- 22:00Speaker 1: She was a late call up and has now found
- 22:03Speaker 1: herself in that extended team that back half.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Of the Super and Apple season. She made a really
- 22:08Speaker 2: strong case for this call up, I think.
- 22:10Speaker 1: And off the back of just having some solid court time,
- 22:12Speaker 1: because that's not something that she's Rudy Ellis has obviously
- 22:15Speaker 1: had before this season.
- 22:18Speaker 4: An amazing story, right, she's twenty seven.
- 22:20Speaker 3: She's played for West Coast Fever for the Firebirds, and
- 22:22Speaker 3: then she went to play for Vixon's and I couldn't
- 22:25Speaker 3: figure out why she did that, because I thought, oh,
- 22:27Speaker 3: she might not get much caught time, you know, with
- 22:30Speaker 3: Joe Weston and then Mannix there.
- 22:32Speaker 4: But it's done her the world of good. And I
- 22:33Speaker 4: read something.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Today off the back of her selection in this extended squad.
- 22:37Speaker 3: So there's a squad of fifteen and I assume they'll
- 22:39Speaker 3: name twelve for game day for three Tests against England,
- 22:43Speaker 3: and so there's the new ones.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Georgie Horges, Rudy Ellis as she Herban and.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Yes Ashurban who's a defender from Sunshine Coast Lightning. And
- 22:53Speaker 3: she said that after training she would do extended footwork
- 22:56Speaker 3: duels with Samone mckinness and if you don't learn that.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Stuff, learn it from Samoa mckinness. She was the master
- 23:03Speaker 4: of it. As a player. She's been so good as
- 23:05Speaker 4: a coach.
- 23:06Speaker 3: So, you know, a move to Vixen's which I thought was, oh,
- 23:11Speaker 3: you might end up spending a long time on the bench,
- 23:13Speaker 3: has been She got lots of the opportunity really when
- 23:16Speaker 3: Joe Western was injured earlier in this year and then
- 23:18Speaker 3: really maintained her place and played a great tag team
- 23:20Speaker 3: role with their Mannix and they were both so outstanding.
- 23:23Speaker 4: So I'm really excited for her.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Of course, I'm excited about the prospect of another Ellis
- 23:28Speaker 3: pulling on the goalkeeper bid for Australia.
- 23:30Speaker 4: It will make me so happy.
- 23:31Speaker 1: It's all about opportunity, though, isn't it. Because there's two
- 23:33Speaker 1: players ruled out Joe Western Courtney Bruce with injury. Courtney
- 23:36Speaker 1: Bruce has had surgery on her foot, so there is
- 23:39Speaker 1: the big open door whether or not they will get
- 23:42Speaker 1: pulled into that twelve at some point. But I feel
- 23:44Speaker 1: like Stacy Marinkovich and the selectors aren't the kind of
- 23:47Speaker 1: people that select people unless they're going to give them
- 23:50Speaker 1: a shot throughout the series at some point. So I mean,
- 23:54Speaker 1: what an opportunity.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and you've got to see if you're going to
- 23:57Speaker 3: put people in that wider squad, obviously they'll have a
- 24:00Speaker 3: look at them in their training environment. So if you've
- 24:03Speaker 3: got to be prepared to get up every day and
- 24:05Speaker 3: turn up to training in the lead up to the
- 24:07Speaker 3: test matches, putting absolutely everything out there, you can't afford
- 24:10Speaker 3: to coast through and hope for the best. But you've
- 24:13Speaker 3: got to see how players stand up to the speed
- 24:16Speaker 3: of international netball, and I think that's a big difference
- 24:18Speaker 3: between like every level. You know, you play state league
- 24:23Speaker 3: and then the step up to national league, the first
- 24:25Speaker 3: thing you notice is the speed of the game. And
- 24:27Speaker 3: then you go from national league to international and the speed.
- 24:32Speaker 3: You think you play fast when you play national league,
- 24:34Speaker 3: but internationals faster again.
- 24:36Speaker 4: So I think that will be the test.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I assume they'll want to have a look at Georgie
- 24:40Speaker 3: in particular in that front line, but both Ash and
- 24:42Speaker 3: Rudy to see how they cope with the speed speed
- 24:46Speaker 3: of the game.
- 24:46Speaker 4: But you know, there's also Sarah.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Clowd who will sit in there, probably is the starting goalkeeper.
- 24:51Speaker 1: It's a big defense end.
- 24:53Speaker 2: But aren't we lucky to have I mean, we're lucky
- 24:55Speaker 2: that we've got Rudy, Ellison Shervan because a Mannox is
- 24:59Speaker 2: out now too. In the extended squad, Courtney Bruce is out.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Who else did you say?
- 25:02Speaker 4: Was that?
- 25:02Speaker 1: And Joe West? But those two players both bigger than
- 25:06Speaker 1: the ones that are not there. So this, I reckon,
- 25:08Speaker 1: this is the biggest defense and we've had in a
- 25:10Speaker 1: very very long time.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Yeah big, you mean tall? So tall?
- 25:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 3: I would have to play I would have to play
- 25:18Speaker 3: center in this team because everyone loses it's extraordinary.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Ageing us out.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yeah, Georgie Horde just though, showing that you don't have
- 25:26Speaker 2: to be tall?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Do you if she gets selected and I think they
- 25:30Speaker 1: should for the first game it's in Adelaide, how good
- 25:32Speaker 1: would that be? Off the back of a premiership win,
- 25:34Speaker 1: to take the first game of the series to Adelaide
- 25:37Speaker 1: and have her on court would be unreal. I will
- 25:40Speaker 1: lose my mind. I'm going to have a really proud
- 25:42Speaker 1: parenting moment.
- 25:43Speaker 4: I think, are.
- 25:44Speaker 3: You, like, will you have to rule yourself out of
- 25:46Speaker 3: commentary because you're not able to be injected?
- 25:49Speaker 1: Yeah? I know, I will do my very best. But
- 25:51Speaker 1: how cool would that be? I think that would be
- 25:53Speaker 1: just so good for all the junior net ballers that
- 25:56Speaker 1: every time you speak to a junior nepoler, the parent
- 25:59Speaker 1: will say, well, she's too sh ought to playing goals
- 26:01Speaker 1: or whatever. And I always say, do you know Georgie
- 26:03Speaker 1: Horges from the Adelaide Thunderbirds, because she just proves to
- 26:06Speaker 1: everybody that you don't have to be a particular body
- 26:08Speaker 1: shape to be great at our game.
- 26:11Speaker 4: How tall is she?
- 26:12Speaker 1: How tall is she? Or the one that I don't know? Sixty?
- 26:15Speaker 2: No, no, no, she's taller. So who Laura Cherian was the
- 26:19Speaker 2: shortest at one sixty four, So she's taller than one
- 26:21Speaker 2: sixty four. I feel like there's a two, like I
- 26:23Speaker 2: want to say one seventy two. Then that seems that
- 26:26Speaker 2: seems to me.
- 26:27Speaker 3: I'm going to google this. She's one seventy two. She's
- 26:29Speaker 3: five foot game. But you know, five foot eight is
- 26:33Speaker 3: taller than the average height for women, So she's we.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Think you too have no idea what average height is
- 26:40Speaker 2: for women. You live in this ridiculously skewed world. So
- 26:44Speaker 2: Georgie Horges is she's short to play goal attack, isn't
- 26:49Speaker 2: she She's not short for center court play. She's not short.
- 26:52Speaker 1: No, well she's probably she's probably still I think, with
- 26:56Speaker 1: the evolution of the game, looks like she's a smaller
- 26:58Speaker 1: center court point.
- 26:59Speaker 3: So yeah, average type for women in Australia is five
- 27:02Speaker 3: foot three and a half inches.
- 27:03Speaker 4: No, it's not, that's the allegation. How cool are you, Carolyn?
- 27:08Speaker 2: Five foot two nearly one?
- 27:12Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 27:12Speaker 2: What do you mean that? What's inaccurate? I know how
- 27:14Speaker 2: tall I am?
- 27:15Speaker 4: Hang on, I've got some updated information.
- 27:18Speaker 3: The average Australian woman was one hundred and sixty one
- 27:21Speaker 3: point eight centimeters tall.
- 27:22Speaker 4: So what's that?
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's five three five to three. Where are you
- 27:27Speaker 2: getting this from Google? And how are they?
- 27:30Speaker 3: I'm getting this off the government, off the ABS website.
- 27:33Speaker 1: How old is that? Is that the seventies?
- 27:35Speaker 2: But when is when is the Australian Bureau of Statistics
- 27:38Speaker 2: measuring us? If that's not in the census? Is it
- 27:42Speaker 2: in your window?
- 27:43Speaker 1: At night?
- 27:45Speaker 3: The tooth fairy brings to.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Measure.
- 27:52Speaker 3: She's up the class of one in one hand and
- 27:54Speaker 3: to take measure the other one. I don't know how
- 27:57Speaker 3: accurate this is.
- 28:00Speaker 4: It'll do no this, This is fascinating. Don't you think?
- 28:05Speaker 3: In twenty eleven to twelve the average Australian man was
- 28:10Speaker 3: one seventy five point six centimeters tall. No wonder we
- 28:13Speaker 3: think all these blokes are short? No one, you can't
- 28:16Speaker 3: find anyone to date, Catherine, and the average Australian woman
- 28:18Speaker 3: was one sixty one centimeters tall. I've got average Astralians
- 28:22Speaker 3: are growing taller and hairer over time.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Harrier heavy are.
- 28:32Speaker 2: If we're getting hairer, there's no excus There plenty of
- 28:34Speaker 2: things you can do about that. I am surprised at
- 28:36Speaker 2: one hundred and sixty one centimeters though, because that means
- 28:38Speaker 2: I'm only two centimeters shorter than average height, and I
- 28:41Speaker 2: just I don't meet a lot of fully grown women
- 28:44Speaker 2: who are shorter than I am. No, So is there
- 28:47Speaker 2: some pocket happening somewhere of like little people.
- 28:52Speaker 3: You just hang out with tall people, dude, that's your problem.
- 28:58Speaker 1: You gotta get some more normal fruits.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 29:13Speaker 2: We've strayed into the path of ridiculousness now, all right.
- 29:20Speaker 2: So we do this every week. It's one of our
- 29:22Speaker 2: favorite things to do. We ask you to tell us
- 29:24Speaker 2: who is out there in netball clubland, who is keeping
- 29:27Speaker 2: the game alive at a community level. This is called
- 29:29Speaker 2: the wind beneath our wings. We have a voice note nomination,
- 29:33Speaker 2: which is our very favorite way to receive a nomination.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Let's hear what we've got.
- 29:39Speaker 5: Hi, Carolyn, cath and Liz. It's Andrew here from the
- 29:43Speaker 5: Gladeswell Ravens, just a net local netball dad. I wish
- 29:46Speaker 5: to nominate a wind beneath our wings for Mel Cullen
- 29:50Speaker 5: from the Gladeswell Ravens. Mel eats netball for breakfast, lunch,
- 29:54Speaker 5: and dinner. She's a director of netball at the Gladeswelle
- 29:57Speaker 5: Ravens and after seven years she's the So I've just
- 30:00Speaker 5: stepped down, but her efforts for the Gladesville Ravens and
- 30:03Speaker 5: the Eastwood Ride Netball Association will live long in the
- 30:06Speaker 5: memories of many girls and families in the area. She's
- 30:10Speaker 5: been a player, a coach, a mentor a referee. She's
- 30:15Speaker 5: been teaching the coaches, teaching the referees, hours of grading,
- 30:19Speaker 5: separating the hens from the chickens, sorting out the uniforms,
- 30:23Speaker 5: applying for government grants, improving facilities for our girls, and
- 30:27Speaker 5: inspiring other volunteers and overall inspiring and playing with her
- 30:32Speaker 5: daughter Jess, also coaching her daughter Jess. So it's been
- 30:35Speaker 5: a great year for Mel Collen at the Gladeswell Ravens.
- 30:38Speaker 5: And she is the wind beneath our wings.
- 30:41Speaker 2: How great is that? Thank you Andrew. That is wonderful
- 30:43Speaker 2: And congratulations Mel Cullen. You are the wind beneath our wings.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Yeah, Mel, what a superstar she is.
- 30:48Speaker 2: I need to declare a it's not a conflict of
- 30:51Speaker 2: interest here at all, but this is my home club
- 30:53Speaker 2: and Mel Cullen has been absolutely so supportive of me
- 30:57Speaker 2: as a coach, and she's one of these people. I've
- 31:00Speaker 2: had kids at the same school as her, not in
- 31:01Speaker 2: the same year, but she's one of these people, you know,
- 31:03Speaker 2: the volunteers who volunteer for everything, and there's like six
- 31:06Speaker 2: people who do everything, and everyone else stands around going,
- 31:08Speaker 2: I'm really busy. I've got a job. Well, she also
- 31:10Speaker 2: has a job. She volunteers at school. She volunteers at
- 31:12Speaker 2: the high school now that her son is at. She
- 31:15Speaker 2: was running all these sports things at the primary school
- 31:17Speaker 2: when her kids were there, and just as well as
- 31:19Speaker 2: doing all of this with Netbull.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Do you know what I love about that though, that
- 31:23Speaker 1: she's played with her daughter. Now we all have daughters.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Would you at some stage if they said, Mamma wants
- 31:29Speaker 1: you to play with me, would you do it? Yeah?
- 31:31Speaker 1: I would?
- 31:31Speaker 3: I think, yeah, yeah, totally would. I actually offered that
- 31:34Speaker 3: to Evelyn and she wasn't excited, as I thought.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Maybe we could set up a mother daughter team and
- 31:40Speaker 2: we just get another mother daughter combo to come and
- 31:43Speaker 2: join us at some stage.
- 31:44Speaker 1: That'd be fun, or just a game or a training
- 31:46Speaker 1: session would be great fun. Weld Ane Melton.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Anyway, mel you are the win beneath our wings, so
- 31:51Speaker 2: please keep the nominations rolling in. We do have to
- 31:54Speaker 2: make one rule on it. We have been getting nominations
- 31:56Speaker 2: for committees of people, for multiple groups of people, and
- 32:00Speaker 2: we can't. We can only take individuals for this. I
- 32:03Speaker 2: know that a couple of weeks ago we overruled that
- 32:06Speaker 2: and nominated a couple of coaches from buck Alden. But
- 32:08Speaker 2: we can only take individual nominations from here on in
- 32:12Speaker 2: because it is like we just don't. We don't have
- 32:14Speaker 2: enough scrunchies. And honestly, these are these are like gold,
- 32:18Speaker 2: these things, so these are precious. We need to maintain
- 32:21Speaker 2: the value of them.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Although I did enjoy the afternoon making them.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll do that again. Let's just do that again. Yes,
- 32:28Speaker 2: we'll ask our friend am At Printhy Wines to help
- 32:31Speaker 2: us out again with that, because an army marches on
- 32:34Speaker 2: its stomach.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Now, if you two do that without making scrunchies, like
- 32:38Speaker 3: the scrunches are the only thing that stopped you guys
- 32:41Speaker 3: just drinking.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Well, she said scrunchies, So does that mean too them?
- 32:44Speaker 1: We're good two scrunches.
- 32:45Speaker 2: I think we could beat our last number. I did
- 32:49Speaker 2: say last week that I thought dribblers would want you
- 32:52Speaker 2: guys to do that show with New Zealand, and I
- 32:54Speaker 2: was right. A lot of people are with me saying, man,
- 32:56Speaker 2: I would love to see you guys pull on the
- 32:58Speaker 2: boot scan.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And run out there serious operation of some sort to
- 33:01Speaker 1: fix whatever I broke.
- 33:03Speaker 2: But that's all we've got time for. Listen needs to
- 33:05Speaker 2: go and shoot some birds or something. I'm not entirely
- 33:08Speaker 2: sure what you please? Can I clarify I do not
- 33:11Speaker 2: actually condone that it was a throwaway line and a comedian.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Yes, you are a comedian.
- 33:16Speaker 3: No, I'm going to let them land on my finger
- 33:18Speaker 3: and talk to them because I'll film that.
- 33:21Speaker 1: And can I just say before we let you go,
- 33:24Speaker 1: good luck this week. Thank you so excited. I'm going
- 33:27Speaker 1: to come Thursday and watch Wonderful. Wait to see you
- 33:29Speaker 1: in your element, wonderful.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Thank you. Yes, I've got more than eighty percent sold
- 33:32Speaker 2: across the season, which is wonderful. I'm very excited about.
- 33:35Speaker 2: And I'm going off now for a technical rehearsal at
- 33:37Speaker 2: the venue. So I split. So it's goodbye for me,
- 33:41Speaker 2: Carolyn Tatar.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Everyone, it's nice to be back in sydneyout out, it's
- 33:45Speaker 1: nice to not be in Sydney.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Bye. Have a good week, bye,
