- 0:44Speaker 6: of a b your mad dog.
- 0:45Speaker 2: You have actually filled out quite a bit in the
- 0:47Speaker 2: last month.
- 0:48Speaker 6: About the last week or two, I think. Yeah, I've
- 0:50Speaker 6: been going for eight or nine weeks. Wow, I felt
- 0:53Speaker 6: zero zero results and been weak airs. But the last
- 0:56Speaker 6: week or so keazy coming good man, I'm good. Yeah,
- 1:02Speaker 6: you want to come over here and have a touch
- 1:03Speaker 6: and a field?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Brother, all right, okay, later on if I can come
- 1:08Speaker 3: over and have a squeeze, I'm keen, yeah, man, yeah, yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Well if Jason's going over and I'll probably just leave
- 1:12Speaker 4: you to you guys.
- 1:13Speaker 6: To that that would be weird if you wouln't doing
- 1:15Speaker 6: it as well and you were just watching.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I wasn't gonna watch.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Actually, that was very reminiscent of my dream the other
- 1:21Speaker 3: night with having are again.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Caezy, Hi, what's going on with the here man?
- 1:27Speaker 4: I just thought it was time for a change. It's
- 1:29Speaker 4: nice man, slick it back, thank you. I'm wearing a
- 1:33Speaker 4: green hoodie and slick back here, Mike, Who does that
- 1:35Speaker 4: remind you.
- 1:36Speaker 6: Of a green hoodie and slick back here? It's a
- 1:38Speaker 6: different kind of slick back here. I'll say that you've
- 1:40Speaker 6: got a lot of grease in the air. And can
- 1:41Speaker 6: you tell me what is that you're running?
- 1:44Speaker 4: What's the product? I have no idea?
- 1:46Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:47Speaker 6: Was it gummy when they put it in? Do you
- 1:50Speaker 6: want to explain why you've got your here like that
- 1:52Speaker 6: Game of Two Halves film today?
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, got a bit worried about your beans.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Well, it's just the metal. Big deal about my hair? Sure,
- 2:00Speaker 4: episodes I was I'll just take I just don't want
- 2:01Speaker 4: it to be a part of the show, so I'll
- 2:03Speaker 4: slick my hair right back. I bet they. I bet
- 2:04Speaker 4: Laura didn't say a thing about how your here looks,
- 2:07Speaker 4: you know, bizarrely mogie. She might have said one or
- 2:09Speaker 4: two things.
- 2:10Speaker 7: Now.
- 2:11Speaker 3: The only issue I have with her is I wouldn't
- 2:13Speaker 3: call it a slip back. I'd call it a side part. Yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 3: it's more of a side parting. It's like you've gone
- 2:20Speaker 3: intentionally nerdy.
- 2:22Speaker 4: No, it wasn't intentionally nerdy. I asked for like Grease,
- 2:25Speaker 4: like a bad guy on the Grease movie. I mean, yeah, yeah, Jacket, that's.
- 2:29Speaker 6: Sort of your heres going like mine in the scenes.
- 2:31Speaker 6: It's difficult to do that. Yeah, we've got thick curly here.
- 2:35Speaker 6: Ye're super thick.
- 2:36Speaker 2: It looks great.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Anyway, you look really good man.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I'm loving the green you're green switched as well.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Thanks man.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Like you slip back here, Well, that's probably more of
- 2:44Speaker 4: a side part. You look like a nerd, do I yeah?
- 2:47Speaker 2: Good?
- 2:47Speaker 3: Hey, Now listen, we're on a massive shower head. We've
- 2:50Speaker 3: got Wilson Dixon coming and comedian slash songwriter.
- 2:53Speaker 5: That's right.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I'm very very much looking forward to that. What else, Keezy, Oh?
- 2:57Speaker 4: I just okay. We've also got an the chance to
- 3:00Speaker 4: get yourself in the drawer for either Hally golfing or
- 3:02Speaker 4: Halle fishing. Would you rather yes, which is one hell
- 3:05Speaker 4: of a prize. It's for you in three mates as
- 3:07Speaker 4: well to keep an air.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Out for that and a bit of white stripes.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, there's a tune by the way, the Hodarky
- 3:16Speaker 4: Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and keys.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Is indeed didn't keep us there on the radio, Hot
- 3:22Speaker 3: Arky Big Show. This blustery, cold and icy Auckland day.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I don't know how it is around the rest of
- 3:29Speaker 3: the country, fellas, but we've text us thet us know
- 3:32Speaker 3: how the weather is for you. On three four eight
- 3:34Speaker 3: three we hit the Harbor Ridge closing down. At one
- 3:36Speaker 3: point she was so wild and wooly. And I tell
- 3:39Speaker 3: you what, Mogi and Keysy, she's been one of those
- 3:42Speaker 3: kind of days.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Rold Hordy j oh no ah, Yeah, I was in
- 3:45Speaker 2: a her of a mood. I've gotta be honest with you.
- 3:48Speaker 3: My day started off with that of a word of
- 3:49Speaker 3: a lie with my wife accidentally elbowing me, elbowing me
- 3:53Speaker 3: in the face in bed accidentally you reckon, wow, Well
- 3:57Speaker 3: she said it was while I might.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Have been going for a bit of a year.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what, you know, a bit of a
- 4:04Speaker 3: spoon there and she sort of rolled over and went
- 4:07Speaker 3: donk with her elbow straight my massive snarls.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a big.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Target, to be fair, that was That was a very
- 4:16Speaker 3: start of my We're in our little single bed and.
- 4:21Speaker 2: She's got quite big elbows as well.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Yeah, so that's how.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I woke up. This is not a word of a lie.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Get out of the bed, stand up and immediately stand
- 4:30Speaker 3: on my reading glasses.
- 4:31Speaker 4: And smash them, which pier with.
- 4:34Speaker 3: The pier that I had by the bed, they must
- 4:36Speaker 3: have fallen off my little side table there under the floor.
- 4:39Speaker 2: So I stood on the Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Well I was iffing and jeff and like you wouldn't believe.
- 4:46Speaker 3: And then it was my turn for the coffee. So
- 4:49Speaker 3: I went out and made the coffee. There's something wrong
- 4:50Speaker 3: with the coffee machine today. The coffee just wasn't coming out.
- 4:53Speaker 2: It was just me and it was freezing cold.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I was already in a horror of a movie because
- 5:02Speaker 3: I had my snarl smacked.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I smashed my glasses.
- 5:05Speaker 3: But anyway, so that all happened, and just before my
- 5:08Speaker 3: wife went to work, she said, oh, by the way,
- 5:11Speaker 3: remember that we're getting the power cut off today from
- 5:13Speaker 3: eight to six PM, and I was like what, and
- 5:17Speaker 3: she said, I told you about it, and I went, no,
- 5:19Speaker 3: you didn't, and she said, yes, I told you about
- 5:23Speaker 3: it about five. I told you about it last night,
- 5:25Speaker 3: for God's sake, because we've got trades.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Coming in and out. And I was like, good one.
- 5:30Speaker 2: So she left her warm.
- 5:32Speaker 4: So you walked them off. You reacted as that was
- 5:35Speaker 4: her fault, like she was turning the power off.
- 5:36Speaker 3: It was totally her fault, man, But it was something
- 5:39Speaker 3: they were doing on our street. And I was reminded
- 5:42Speaker 3: once again what an absolute ice box my house is
- 5:46Speaker 3: without the heating in it.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Why do you like the fire?
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah, because I don't have a fireplace waiting for a fire.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Pardon what happened to it?
- 5:53Speaker 2: It got ripped.
- 5:54Speaker 6: Out, Yeah, I got because it was useless and replace
- 5:58Speaker 6: it with ete pump.
- 5:59Speaker 3: And I replaced or the heat pump, which has been
- 6:01Speaker 3: an why the heat revelation? Because yeah, well you know what,
- 6:05Speaker 3: and that's the thing that you forget with the powers off.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Everything you go to do, you go, yeah, ah, oh,
- 6:12Speaker 3: just make some breakfast, then ah yeah.
- 6:16Speaker 2: And then my daughter wakes up.
- 6:19Speaker 3: About sort of tennis and comes out in the hoo
- 6:22Speaker 3: of the mood tennis tennis. She's in a hoo of
- 6:27Speaker 3: a mood as well, and she's like, why won't my
- 6:29Speaker 3: phone charge?
- 6:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm like, because we've got no power.
- 6:33Speaker 2: That's why. She's like, what do you mean we've got
- 6:36Speaker 2: no power?
- 6:37Speaker 4: And what did you say?
- 6:38Speaker 2: I said, your mom already told you that last night.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Last night I was here when she did, and then
- 6:45Speaker 4: the day just based.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Oh. Then I went to counseling what you know you out? Yeah, yeah,
- 6:50Speaker 3: because she had a heat pump in her room, so
- 6:52Speaker 3: that was really good. So I just basically sat under
- 6:55Speaker 3: the heat pump and didn't say anything and that was
- 6:59Speaker 3: my day.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Pretty oh wow.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yeah. We had the plumber come.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Over a few issues with the toilet that I brought
- 7:04Speaker 3: home from the Nah.
- 7:07Speaker 2: He just said there might be a few parts missing.
- 7:09Speaker 4: That well that would be standing.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:11Speaker 6: I think the trouble is when you're stealing toilets from charities,
- 7:15Speaker 6: oftentimes you're in a rush and you don't get every
- 7:17Speaker 6: single thing that you need, you know what I mean?
- 7:19Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Well it was a slat.
- 7:20Speaker 3: You know, it was a pretty undercover dash that I
- 7:24Speaker 3: was doing last night, and I've been giving a lot
- 7:26Speaker 3: of jip about that.
- 7:26Speaker 2: That hasn't made me happy either.
- 7:28Speaker 6: Well you get you know you pay for well, you
- 7:32Speaker 6: are going to donate a substantial amount.
- 7:34Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 7:34Speaker 2: I am I.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Already have, I already have mogie substantial amount, well above cost.
- 7:43Speaker 4: How are you feeling now though you're still in the
- 7:44Speaker 4: horror of the movie. You're good man? Because he seemed chill.
- 7:46Speaker 5: No, I wasn't.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Now I am again.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Yeah, cool system of down the hiking.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune in on radio, is.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Indeed talking heads there on the radio.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Hold on Big Show this Tuesday afternoon, A time is
- 8:03Speaker 3: twenty four minutes past four o'clock. We were talking what
- 8:05Speaker 3: atrocious weather it is in Auckland today?
- 8:09Speaker 5: Is this weather chat?
- 8:10Speaker 3: Well, it's the coldest day in Auckland I heard today
- 8:13Speaker 3: in fifty years?
- 8:14Speaker 4: Is that right?
- 8:15Speaker 2: Yeah? Man, Wow, we've.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Got a bit of a weather chat on the old
- 8:18Speaker 3: text machine on three four eight three as well.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Yeah, there's weather chat on the text machine, so keep
- 8:23Speaker 4: sitting that three on three four eight three. Good a fellas.
- 8:26Speaker 4: The weather in Welly is cold, windy and wintery, seven
- 8:28Speaker 4: degrees sandy. Yeah, it's miserable down there. Yeah, that's a
- 8:32Speaker 4: nippy I'm in Pokey Core here. It's sunny. Oh wait,
- 8:34Speaker 4: no it's raining. Oh wait, no it's sunny. Oh wait
- 8:36Speaker 4: no it's raining and windy chairs.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Yeah good, it's a bit of a keep those weather
- 8:40Speaker 3: text coming in on three four with a.
- 8:42Speaker 6: Chat on the text machine. Yeah, yeah, that's good stuff, fellas. Hey,
- 8:47Speaker 6: I don't know I mentioned it, but I went to the
- 8:48Speaker 6: gym today.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Yeah, so interesting.
- 8:50Speaker 6: And what I did when I was there, I remembered
- 8:54Speaker 6: excuse me, guys, it's okay, excuse me.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I'm sorry that I had a bit of a frog
- 8:58Speaker 4: in my throat.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Sure.
- 9:01Speaker 6: And when I go to the gym, I have my
- 9:03Speaker 6: headphones on today and I like to put on some music,
- 9:05Speaker 6: so I'm going to Spotify there and it served me
- 9:09Speaker 6: up a playlist and the playlist was the one hundred
- 9:13Speaker 6: Days to Christmas Playlist, Oh wow. And it was all
- 9:17Speaker 6: Michael Bibbley, Mariah Carry, Frank Sinatra, all of that, all
- 9:24Speaker 6: of the best, the best of the Bingo Crosby, Yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 6: all of those. And I don't know how you guys
- 9:33Speaker 6: feel about getting served anything really or any kind of
- 9:38Speaker 6: chat about Christmas in September. In September, quite a long
- 9:44Speaker 6: way away, and it was good ship man. If you've
- 9:47Speaker 6: ever done bench press to jingle jingle bell rock man,
- 9:55Speaker 6: if you have a shoulder press to last Christmas by wham,
- 10:00Speaker 6: Now we're cooking. Have you ever done a plate raise to?
- 10:03Speaker 6: Do you hear what I hear by your mate being crosby?
- 10:07Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:07Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 10:09Speaker 6: Have you ever done hanging leg raisers? So it's beginning
- 10:12Speaker 6: to look a lot like Christmas. I actually love that song.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Pumps you up many it does, Yeah, put you in
- 10:17Speaker 2: a good mood, doesn't it?
- 10:18Speaker 4: It does?
- 10:18Speaker 6: And I do think maybe we could start celebrating Christmas
- 10:21Speaker 6: a little bit early because it makes everyone pretty chip
- 10:23Speaker 6: it doesn't it except the odd miserable son of a bee.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Sure you would celebate it early. I think if we
- 10:29Speaker 4: celebrate it now.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Listen, I'll tell you what I what I always do
- 10:33Speaker 3: around this time of year. I start chatting to my
- 10:35Speaker 3: wife about gifts for Christmas. Oh, yes, you know what
- 10:37Speaker 3: I mean.
- 10:38Speaker 4: It sounds interesting, you know?
- 10:39Speaker 5: And what are we going to?
- 10:40Speaker 3: You know, family? And what are we gonna I love
- 10:42Speaker 3: starting organizing it now?
- 10:44Speaker 6: And I know your wife was it because she did
- 10:46Speaker 6: she buy a shirt for an elf last week?
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yes? She did? She did Christmas elf actually, which.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I can't find at the moment. I'm going to if
- 10:53Speaker 3: I do find it, I'll wear it tomorrow. But this,
- 10:56Speaker 3: you know, it's never too early to chat and a
- 11:00Speaker 3: Christmas spirits, you know what I'm saying.
- 11:01Speaker 4: That's weird because I'm a big Christmas guy. You guys
- 11:04Speaker 4: know that you are.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Didn't you buy your wife like Christmas Jami, Christmas.
- 11:09Speaker 6: Like clothes, big clothes and whatnot. She's got Christmas jarmies
- 11:14Speaker 6: with little candy can She's only allowed to wear them
- 11:16Speaker 6: in December. That's the rule that you put on it.
- 11:18Speaker 4: That's right. And it's a candle of what on them?
- 11:21Speaker 4: Candy candy canes, your candy cans, candy cans whatever, they are,
- 11:25Speaker 4: just candy canes too. There's also a candle that's called
- 11:31Speaker 4: the night before Christmas. She's not allowed to light until
- 11:33Speaker 4: December and then a house smells like Christmas? Whats if she.
- 11:36Speaker 6: Does wear these clothes outside of the times that you
- 11:39Speaker 6: set aside for her, or does like that candle? Is
- 11:41Speaker 6: it hell to pay around at the keezy household that.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Christmas is canceled? You break the rules that you gotta
- 11:47Speaker 4: pay the consequences. Yeah, yeah, see, but I'm of the
- 11:50Speaker 4: opinion that it is kind of way too early. I
- 11:52Speaker 4: like Christmas to start in December and finish December thirty first, right.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I think you'll find that the majority of people love Christmas,
- 12:00Speaker 3: and they love Christmas chat and they love everything to
- 12:02Speaker 3: do with Christmas. And I'd say seventy five to eighty
- 12:05Speaker 3: percent of people out there get into Christmas early.
- 12:08Speaker 4: They can't get enough Christmas. Yeah, sure, we get people
- 12:10Speaker 4: to text it on three four eight three, and everyone
- 12:12Speaker 4: that does in the draw for a fifty on night
- 12:13Speaker 4: and Day voucher. Is September too early for Christmas?
- 12:16Speaker 6: Can? We also have some talkbacks here on the iHeart Radio.
- 12:21Speaker 6: Hur happened to do those?
- 12:22Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 12:22Speaker 4: Get stuck and you get yourself fifty on night and
- 12:24Speaker 4: day voucher.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Thanks mate.
- 12:27Speaker 1: The Hurdichy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodiking.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You read.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Shirley Pepper's there on the Radio Hodiche Big Show this
- 12:37Speaker 3: Tuesday afternoon.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Now to all the listeners out there, have you heard
- 12:41Speaker 2: about the Big Show Big Proposal?
- 12:45Speaker 4: I love love guys.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Have you're thinking of maybe going down on the knee
- 12:53Speaker 3: and risking.
- 12:55Speaker 4: For dropping a knee?
- 12:56Speaker 2: Jas?
- 12:57Speaker 4: No, I'm not going down on a knee. I've never
- 12:59Speaker 4: had a drop.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Dropping a knee.
- 13:01Speaker 6: Going down on one knee was always what it was
- 13:03Speaker 6: when I was growing up. Anyway, going down on a knee, yes,
- 13:06Speaker 6: same here, going down on one knee.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Dropping a knee sounds like you're dropping a knee on someone.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Actually, or take a knee. It sounds like you're like gathering.
- 13:14Speaker 2: A when you're going for the you know, the national anthem. Yeah,
- 13:17Speaker 2: you take a knee.
- 13:18Speaker 3: But anyway, if you're thinking maybe proposing to that special
- 13:25Speaker 3: person in.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Your life, yeah, popping the big question.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, popping the big I did it. I did it.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Hey, I did it. Pugs has done it a few times.
- 13:35Speaker 4: If you are keen, you know it's a huge moment
- 13:37Speaker 4: in your life. Mates at Diamonds on Richmond have teamed
- 13:41Speaker 4: up with the Big Show and we've got a ten
- 13:44Speaker 4: thousand dollars diamond Engagement Ring prize which is just one
- 13:50Speaker 4: hell of a prize. It's going to be given away
- 13:52Speaker 4: to one lucky back man. It's a hell of a prize,
- 13:54Speaker 4: A hell.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Of a prize, mate, ten k ring.
- 13:58Speaker 4: That's the that's about right.
- 14:00Speaker 6: How much did you spend on yours jash about.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Two hundy yep, grand yeah, nab back zones.
- 14:10Speaker 4: It's a good dollar of cash though, Jase to be fair,
- 14:14Speaker 4: me yeah, grand win. It also gets the assistance of
- 14:19Speaker 4: the big show when it comes to planning the big moment, right,
- 14:22Speaker 4: you know, if you need some ideas or if you
- 14:23Speaker 4: want us just to stay away, that's up to it.
- 14:25Speaker 6: Sort of feels like that's where as prize falls apart.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Well, I was going to say, I was going to say,
- 14:30Speaker 3: Maggie Oakon Trea, what value would you put on that
- 14:35Speaker 3: three backbones helping you out?
- 14:36Speaker 4: Yeah, imagine that like to pop the question.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I just.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Look, I'll be can I be honest with you guys?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Please?
- 14:44Speaker 6: I don't think there's many women that listen to the
- 14:46Speaker 6: show that like us. I don't think women like us.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Three four eight three are you women? Do you LIKEE?
- 14:51Speaker 4: Liked us? Either personally or as a group on the radio?
- 14:54Speaker 4: Actually that my wife doesn't like.

- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I was gonna say a bonus charity.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Toilet and a giant box of tissues.
- 18:40Speaker 5: It was funny it for your honker.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I was talking to him.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I was talking to a friend today and I was
- 18:46Speaker 3: telling them that everyone was giving me jep because I took.
- 18:50Speaker 5: It from charity charity toilet.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Charity toilet And he was like, is that a thing?
- 18:55Speaker 3: And I was like, what do you mean? He goes,
- 18:57Speaker 3: is there such a thing as a charity toilet? And
- 19:00Speaker 3: he thought there was actually a toilet that was for charity.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Well, just so people are aware, we had a Day
- 19:06Speaker 4: and Lou a few months ago. We've had these toilets
- 19:08Speaker 4: in the office. Balkenson New Zealand is auctioning them off
- 19:10Speaker 4: to raise funds. But Jason's stolen one because he's doing
- 19:12Speaker 4: up as all sweet?
- 19:13Speaker 2: Can I just say hashtag stitch up. They've been sitting
- 19:18Speaker 2: there for four months.
- 19:20Speaker 3: I've been questioning every single day what's happening with those
- 19:23Speaker 3: are nothing?
- 19:24Speaker 2: They're just stacked there.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Mogi himself was saying to me, God, I guarantee you
- 19:29Speaker 3: those bastards will be there for five bloody years.
- 19:34Speaker 6: There is absolutely no doubt that the timing could not
- 19:36Speaker 6: have been better.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Absolutely, you know, and I will absolutely make a contribution
- 19:43Speaker 3: to boal Kenson.
- 19:44Speaker 4: You said it before that you've already done it, So
- 19:45Speaker 4: which one is it?
- 19:47Speaker 6: I'm going to believe anymore. Let's make a note of that,
- 19:51Speaker 6: shall we, and we're checking in a month. I've written
- 19:54Speaker 6: it down.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I bet pug Sound's already doing that.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Keep an ear out by the way, New Zealand. Very
- 19:58Speaker 4: soon your chance to get yourself in the draw to
- 20:00Speaker 4: either go hally fishing with three of your mates or
- 20:03Speaker 4: halle golfer. Would you rather the cue to call be
- 20:05Speaker 4: playing within the next thirty.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Great staff, here's friends for.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Man The Big Show podcast.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Link one A two there on the radio, ho Dankey
- 20:14Speaker 3: Big Show this Tuesday afternoon, fifteen minutes past five o'clock.
- 20:17Speaker 4: And all as well, All as well, fellers, except for
- 20:20Speaker 4: one little thing in the old keezy household.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Your marriage.
- 20:24Speaker 4: Well, no, not the marriage as a whole. It's actually
- 20:25Speaker 4: going really well.
- 20:26Speaker 2: That was it.
- 20:26Speaker 6: Yeah, as a hole. Yeah, there's a whole. W h olie,
- 20:30Speaker 6: that's going really well. It was a weird thing to
- 20:33Speaker 6: put the siren on there. Please what the racism? Sorry, no,
- 20:36Speaker 6: the sexism?
- 20:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:39Speaker 4: Do we have a filth siren? I don't really Okay,
- 20:41Speaker 4: it's the same.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 20:43Speaker 4: So last night we were eating right at the dinner
- 20:46Speaker 4: table and my wife made me put some music on
- 20:52Speaker 4: and I was like, oh, can you put some music? I? Yeah, sure?
- 20:55Speaker 4: Why is that?
- 20:55Speaker 1: You?
- 20:55Speaker 4: You know, want a bit of a vibe going sod?
- 20:57Speaker 6: No?
- 20:57Speaker 4: You just really loud eat it. I was like, we've
- 21:01Speaker 4: been over this. Apparently I'm allowed ether. She hates listening
- 21:05Speaker 4: to people eat. She's one of those people.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Sure, are you.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Guys masticating jas I believed yes, But the thing is,
- 21:11Speaker 4: I can't masticate any quieter. I close my mouth, I'm
- 21:16Speaker 4: much away, and I don't know what I can do
- 21:19Speaker 4: to make it quieter. And I had this, we had
- 21:22Speaker 4: this little argument. I was like, what am I supposed
- 21:23Speaker 4: to do? She's I just, I don't know, try and
- 21:24Speaker 4: eat quieter. I'm like, well, what do I suck it first?
- 21:26Speaker 4: And then yeah, and then just swallow it? Like as,
- 21:29Speaker 4: there's quite a way to do things. I need to
- 21:31Speaker 4: munch it up.
- 21:32Speaker 6: Are you probably a you'd be a big night you'd be?
- 21:37Speaker 2: Is that?
- 21:37Speaker 5: What's going on?
- 21:37Speaker 6: So your mouth is closed, but you're you're doing heavy
- 21:40Speaker 6: breathing and you've got your deviated septum and that's really noisy.
- 21:43Speaker 4: Well, because because I had my adenoids out when I
- 21:46Speaker 4: was a kid, yes, and I've still got a few
- 21:48Speaker 4: sinus issues, I can't actually breathe through my nose.
- 21:50Speaker 2: That's what I was going to say.
- 21:51Speaker 3: So your massive snarls has blocked to the gunwales, so
- 21:55Speaker 3: you've only got your mouth.
- 21:57Speaker 5: So I am mouth breather.
- 21:58Speaker 3: He breathes and eats at the same time through his head.
- 22:02Speaker 4: No, no, no, I hold my breath right right, and
- 22:06Speaker 4: that after So it's the annoying thing as you gasping
- 22:09Speaker 4: for bread for air at the end of every to
- 22:12Speaker 4: be okay. So what I've done is because I was
- 22:15Speaker 4: trying to figure it out as well, and I've decided
- 22:17Speaker 4: I recorded myself having breakfast this morning. All right, now,
- 22:19Speaker 4: I'm gonna play it. I've played it to a few
- 22:21Speaker 4: people around the office, people that hate the sound of eating.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Don't worry.
- 22:24Speaker 4: It's not anywhere near as bad as what my wife
- 22:26Speaker 4: makes it out to be. I just want you guys
- 22:27Speaker 4: to listen and see what you're thinking, whether it's bad.
- 22:30Speaker 4: All right, here you go, This is me eating wheat books.
- 22:44Speaker 4: So that's fine, right, Yes, that's just wheatbooks kind of soggy.
- 22:48Speaker 6: Look to be Devil's advocate here. You were recording that
- 22:51Speaker 6: knowing that you're trying to do it quieter, So well,
- 22:54Speaker 6: that does sound true, absolutely fine. It's also because you're
- 22:56Speaker 6: trying to make it sound absolutely fine, right, you see
- 22:59Speaker 6: what I'm saying.
- 22:59Speaker 4: So you're saying so that by recording, I would have conscious,
- 23:02Speaker 4: well even if I didn't realize, all, yeah, I would
- 23:05Speaker 4: have been eating silent because that was really quiet. It's
- 23:06Speaker 4: pretty much nothing even yeah it was.
- 23:08Speaker 2: It wasn't bad at all.
- 23:09Speaker 3: But I think Maggie makes a very fair point the
- 23:11Speaker 3: fact that you were aware that you were doing that.
- 23:13Speaker 3: You did it quite awareas when you're not aware of it,
- 23:16Speaker 3: you're a lunatic.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Yeah right, okay, well I've done another one. So that
- 23:20Speaker 4: first one, sweet Airs, wasn't too loud, right, eating wheatbooks,
- 23:23Speaker 4: I don't see what the big issue is here is
- 23:25Speaker 4: the second meal of the day.
- 23:29Speaker 5: How fine?
- 23:29Speaker 4: Fine, Ah, that's fine, right, that's all good. But what
- 23:42Speaker 4: are you eating there?
- 23:42Speaker 6: That's a smoothie right yeah? They can get quite thick. Yeah,
- 23:47Speaker 6: But again I would say devil's advocat and I'm not
- 23:49Speaker 6: saying this is happening is I think you're probably under
- 23:53Speaker 6: it's not really as as you might be.
- 23:56Speaker 4: But there's nothing to make me think, okay.
- 23:58Speaker 2: That she hears any grounds for any kind of protests.
- 24:01Speaker 6: Yeah, generally speaking on one here side. Okay, well, yeah,
- 24:04Speaker 6: that's something a factor in as well.
- 24:06Speaker 3: And I'm ninety nine percent of the time absolutely behind here.
- 24:12Speaker 2: On her side.
- 24:20Speaker 4: I don't know the way you said that.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Oh, cheer.

- 28:48Speaker 2: We took it. As you do. Tell me, Wilson, have you.
- 28:51Speaker 3: You must have been nominated with the fair amount of
- 28:53Speaker 3: stuff over the years.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Surely you have.
- 28:55Speaker 5: Never been nominated for anything to do with business though, right, okay,
- 28:59Speaker 5: I don't know any business. I don't do a business.
- 29:01Speaker 5: I've been Want you do.

- 29:09Speaker 5: of those.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Have you been nominated?

- 29:28Speaker 6: But although I've been nominated enough, we mentioned it for
- 29:30Speaker 6: Best Business Podcasts. Oh so, I guess it's as likely
- 29:33Speaker 6: as me winning a golden guitar.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Well, see, yeah, what's lollygagging? I've heard that termgag, and
- 29:41Speaker 4: you know these guys been lollygagging around here. You know.
- 29:44Speaker 5: I think it's when you're eating some Lali's and your choke.
- 29:48Speaker 3: That actually happened to me coincidentally, Wilson, while I was
- 29:52Speaker 3: on my auntie's farm listening to country music.

- 30:02Speaker 3: death on a jaffer. Oh so I think that's what
- 30:05Speaker 3: lolly gagging is.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Do you mean an auckland or the lolly the Yeah? Well,
- 30:11Speaker 4: what does huckleberry taste like? Man? I hear a lot
- 30:14Speaker 4: about huckleberries, and I just I don't know what they
- 30:16Speaker 4: taste like, you know, I don't know if I've got them.
- 30:18Speaker 5: I know what a dingleberry is, yeah, but I don't
- 30:20Speaker 5: know what a huckleberry is.
- 30:21Speaker 4: Yeah, keys is not he knows what those tastes?
- 30:24Speaker 5: Oh, do you?
- 30:25Speaker 3: It's the hackleberry? Is the hackleberry? The yellowberry, I don't know,
- 30:31Speaker 3: like the tissuey sort of out.
- 30:33Speaker 4: I'm not sure they're available in New Zealand.
- 30:35Speaker 5: It's a gooseberry.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I know.
- 30:36Speaker 5: That's a good Yeah.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Okay, that's what I was thinking about Chinese gooseberries.
- 30:40Speaker 4: But that's they're not to call.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Them any A coosberry is different coosberry. It's a berry
- 30:49Speaker 5: from another part of the goose Okay.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Well, what.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Are you up to at the moment?
- 30:57Speaker 6: Man?
- 30:58Speaker 5: There?
- 30:58Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 30:59Speaker 4: True?
- 30:59Speaker 5: Why are you here?
- 31:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:00Speaker 5: Well, I'm here because I'm doing another tour.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Great, can you just finish?
- 31:04Speaker 5: Yeah? They I'd do it another one because it went
- 31:06Speaker 5: that one went well, right, Yeah, and so I'm coming
- 31:10Speaker 5: back to some of the same places in some different
- 31:12Speaker 5: places free stuff or.
- 31:14Speaker 4: The appealing sort of more of the same or yeah.
- 31:18Speaker 5: To be honest, you know, it's only two months ago.
- 31:21Speaker 5: I barely slept since then. And you know it's not
- 31:24Speaker 5: like I did write a new song to do today, though,
- 31:26Speaker 5: Oh you did. That's great, Brad, brand new one. What's
- 31:29Speaker 5: that called? You can be a little bit more excited
- 31:33Speaker 5: about it, mister Minogue over there, I.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Just went aft, but I guess we could do too.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll keep the audience waiting in
- 31:45Speaker 3: anticipation there, Wilson.
- 31:48Speaker 6: Were you going to have a guy at me about
- 31:50Speaker 6: the fact that I'm wearing a gray shit and gray
- 31:52Speaker 6: jeans I.
- 31:53Speaker 5: Was going to comment on. I wasn't going to have
- 31:54Speaker 5: a go with you.
- 31:55Speaker 6: No, No, I knew that you coming today, and I
- 31:58Speaker 6: knew that you'd be wearing a blue shiitmes.
- 32:01Speaker 2: You know, well I.
- 32:02Speaker 5: Went double down them, and you've gone double cotton cotton.
- 32:06Speaker 5: You're cutting cutting, man, Look at you with your big mustache.
- 32:14Speaker 5: Have you ever been told you could be in the
- 32:16Speaker 5: Queen cover band? No? Yeah, you could do a good
- 32:18Speaker 5: Freddy Mercy. I wreck you think so? I think so.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Parts of his things I could do and others good
- 32:23Speaker 6: the little bit I couldn't do the singing.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Of a nice voice.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Singing voice man, Yeah, but it's more sort of your
- 32:33Speaker 3: Metallica heavy metal time you've got less than him.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Wilson, do you like Metallica? Man? Do you like heavy
- 32:42Speaker 4: medal or just just country and Wiston?
- 32:45Speaker 5: I don't. I would like I like I'd mainly just
- 32:47Speaker 5: country in Wiston. Metallica they're angry for me?
- 32:51Speaker 2: Sure?
- 32:51Speaker 4: But Growley, what about Oasis? What do you think about
- 32:53Speaker 4: Oasis getting back together? Has that big news in your world?
- 32:56Speaker 5: I know not at all, But what what do I
- 32:58Speaker 5: feel about it? I feel like they they've got it's
- 33:01Speaker 5: going to last about three days before they rip each
- 33:04Speaker 5: other apart.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree.
- 33:06Speaker 2: I think that's a tree.
- 33:07Speaker 4: We go into some Oasis now.
- 33:09Speaker 2: We can hear your song, will say, yeah, see which
- 33:12Speaker 2: one is better?
- 33:13Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune.
- 33:16Speaker 4: In on radio.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Indeed, Oasis there on the Radio hoed Archy Big show
- 33:22Speaker 3: this Tuesday evening. We've got the fantastic Wilson Dixon in
- 33:25Speaker 3: the studio with US singer songwriter country in Western. He's
- 33:31Speaker 3: he's been banging on about this fantastic new song that
- 33:34Speaker 3: he's written over the last When did you write it exactly?
- 33:37Speaker 5: He said it once. It might be banging up.
- 33:39Speaker 3: I mean he sort of went on about it quite
- 33:41Speaker 3: a lot at one time that you were saying, you
- 33:43Speaker 3: think the best thing you've ever written.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Okay, this is not true, listeners, this is not true
- 33:48Speaker 5: and been set up here this is and I wrote
- 33:51Speaker 5: it today, right, Okay, Yeah, what's.
- 33:55Speaker 2: This?
- 33:56Speaker 5: Is my first rodeo?
- 33:57Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's a twist on people to say it's
- 34:02Speaker 6: not my fist radio.
- 34:03Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what the song's about. Nice you woman doing now? Yes?
- 34:08Speaker 2: Sure, man, filled your boots.
- 34:10Speaker 5: People say it's not my first rodeo when they got
- 34:17Speaker 5: things under control. But you'd only say that if you'd
- 34:23Speaker 5: never been in a rodeo that much. It's true.
- 34:32Speaker 8: Because whether it's your first ever rodeo or one hundred
- 34:35Speaker 8: and fifty first rodeo.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Ball forehand, you're still shitting yourself.
- 34:44Speaker 8: Getting kicked in the nuts by a horse doesn't get
- 34:51Speaker 8: any less sore over time getting laughed at by the
- 34:58Speaker 8: crowd when you writhe in in pain as the angry
- 35:06Speaker 8: horse gets shoed away by a clown. People say cockfighting
- 35:14Speaker 8: should be illegal, and it is.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Cockfighting is illegal.
- 35:23Speaker 8: But there's another kind of cockfighting that is illegal, involving
- 35:30Speaker 8: two grown men naked from the waist down in a room,
- 35:36Speaker 8: just two men soaving their differences in their own way.
- 35:43Speaker 5: Who am I to judge? If it works? How do
- 35:49Speaker 5: you pick a winner? It's hit the first man to concede.
- 35:56Speaker 5: You can't imagine that fight could.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Go on for weeks.
- 36:06Speaker 5: Yes, so good man. It's true though, isn't it.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it is true that stuff. And that's quite emotional
- 36:10Speaker 2: listening to that.
- 36:11Speaker 5: That's what country music does for you. It's truth. It's
- 36:13Speaker 5: the heart speaking to you, you know, yeah about you know,
- 36:16Speaker 5: cock fighting and whatever horse is kicking you in the nuts.
- 36:19Speaker 5: That kind of stuff. It's nice to think.
- 36:20Speaker 3: About, I imagine, because you know you're touring all over
- 36:24Speaker 3: the world all the time, he must have seen your
- 36:26Speaker 3: fierce share of cock fighting.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Yeah, both kinds, the cockrell sort and the other sort.
- 36:30Speaker 5: That which do you prefer me? Wilson Dixon. I prefer
- 36:37Speaker 5: the second kind because I don't like to be cruel
- 36:39Speaker 5: to animals.
- 36:43Speaker 4: There's cock fighting sort of universal.
- 36:45Speaker 6: Everybody gets it, and no matter where you go, there's
- 36:46Speaker 6: nobody sort of looking at your funny when you start
- 36:49Speaker 6: talking about that.
- 36:50Speaker 5: No, not really. Yeah, well I would imagine that the
- 36:54Speaker 5: island of Lesbos. You wouldn't one that's still around that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 5: Amazons are on there. Yeah. Have they opened They've opened
- 37:09Speaker 5: it up, have they? It's still largely you know, Amazonians,
- 37:13Speaker 5: I think so, and they don't like take kindly to
- 37:15Speaker 5: conversations about cock fighting.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Have you told there before it's not such an issue?
- 37:20Speaker 5: No, it's not. Haven't performed here, you know, there's not
- 37:22Speaker 5: a big country scene there.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Well, so are you excited for you things like that?
- 37:28Speaker 2: I love it?
- 37:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Are you excited for your toe man?
- 37:31Speaker 5: Yeah? Man going Wang and newieh new Plymouth. Oh yeah,
- 37:37Speaker 5: frash Church yeah, in the cargo yeah, Queen queen down there?
- 37:42Speaker 5: They do they like me down there.
- 37:44Speaker 4: I've been there before.
- 37:47Speaker 6: I'm just saying the chat cock fighting down and the Vicago.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Yeah, there's a bit of it.
- 37:52Speaker 6: No, you might find yourself in a bit of a
- 37:54Speaker 6: fisty caff stand there. They don't like that sort of talk.
- 37:57Speaker 5: Okay, why because it's true, too true for them. Something
- 38:00Speaker 5: that brings up stuff like you, Jason doesn't make them feel.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Sit Yeah, maybe a bit too close to the bone,
- 38:06Speaker 3: but wistful okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, close to the bone.
- 38:09Speaker 5: Yeah, Wilson.
- 38:11Speaker 4: Hey Wilson, where can people get tickets if they want
- 38:13Speaker 4: to come see you?
- 38:14Speaker 5: To them?
- 38:14Speaker 4: Man?
- 38:14Speaker 5: Oh, I'm Live Nation. Oh really yeah, go to Live
- 38:18Speaker 5: Big Time. I'm also going to Tower Tower Unner. Yeah,
- 38:22Speaker 5: and also to back here in Auckland.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Nice.
- 38:25Speaker 5: Yeah, right, Well you're playing in Auckland in Hollywood? Wow?
- 38:30Speaker 5: Which is here? Sounds like it's not. It sounds like
- 38:32Speaker 5: I'm talking about another place, But it's here, the Hollywood
- 38:34Speaker 5: and Avon Dale.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Oh no, that's a great venue there. Yeah, we're going
- 38:38Speaker 2: there on Thursday. O.
- 38:39Speaker 5: What are you going to go and see you there?
- 38:41Speaker 5: You missed my concert because it's not then. But what
- 38:43Speaker 5: are you going to say?
- 38:44Speaker 2: My daughter's in a band, so I'm going to go
- 38:46Speaker 2: and see here.
- 38:46Speaker 5: That'd be a good name for a band.
- 38:48Speaker 2: My daughter's in a band.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 4: Hey Wilson, if you could play anywhere in the world band,
- 38:54Speaker 4: wh would you play? Good question? It's good like the
- 38:57Speaker 4: Grand Old Opry or something like that.
- 38:59Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe like a I'm an auditorium or something like that. Yeah,
- 39:01Speaker 5: that's where it is round all. Yeah, I would. I'd
- 39:06Speaker 5: love to play there along with you know, some of
- 39:08Speaker 5: my favorites. I suppose you know Dolly Parton.
- 39:12Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, she's good.
- 39:13Speaker 5: She's two of my favorites.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Well, Wilson Dixon, mate, thanks so much as always for
- 39:20Speaker 3: coming in.
- 39:20Speaker 2: And what a pleasure in good life about that.
- 39:22Speaker 5: I mean like she's got she's got her turn of
- 39:25Speaker 5: real poppy side and her kind of more country stadement.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Hey, all the best with the tour, and make sure
- 39:35Speaker 3: you're getting fast because they sell out quick.
- 39:38Speaker 4: These tickets they do already sold out. Yeah maybe yeah,
- 39:41Speaker 4: maybe Live Nation, Docto.
- 39:44Speaker 1: The whole Actually Big Show with Mike and Keyzy tune
- 39:48Speaker 1: in week days and four on Radio hod Ike.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Welcome back to your messive bagbones.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Hope you're surviving this crazy Tuesday night. Wherever you are,
- 39:56Speaker 3: you're listening to the Big Show brought to you by Night.
- 40:07Speaker 5: Do you hear me?
- 40:08Speaker 4: Go low? The adjacent Yah? Impressive A man, you like
- 40:12Speaker 4: to be the low guy. Hey, sorry about that, man,
- 40:14Speaker 4: but it's not low.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Always go. I tend to go quite high when I
- 40:19Speaker 2: you know, stapped putting it on.
- 40:20Speaker 4: But you know, Jason is this thing about being the
- 40:22Speaker 4: guy with the cool low voice. Yeah yeah, he doesn't
- 40:24Speaker 4: like it whenever anyone sort of comes near that.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Sure.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, well I do have a low voice, but
- 40:29Speaker 3: I mean someone's got a low voice of me. I
- 40:31Speaker 3: don't sort of worry about it or anything, really, yeah, because.
- 40:34Speaker 4: This is my real voice and I've been changing it
- 40:36Speaker 4: these last three years.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Now.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Listen, the podcast outro today was kind of a weird one,
- 40:41Speaker 3: wasn't it. I can't even We were talking politics. That'spirasees
- 40:47Speaker 3: here was freaking us out a bit.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's new hairdoo.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Yeah it was my even though it was completely you
- 40:53Speaker 4: two talking about politics and stuff. It was but mine,
- 40:56Speaker 4: you here do freaking everyone out. Here's a week clip
- 40:58Speaker 4: called Algorithm was me banging on, is what it was.
- 41:01Speaker 6: It was good stuff though I wouldn't even have any algorithm.
- 41:07Speaker 6: I don't think it'll be music. It's only music I'll
- 41:08Speaker 6: watch on you for me. It's American politics, it's.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Village cooking Village cooking is just these Indian feellows.
- 41:22Speaker 6: Oh yeah, just sitting off the racism alarm on the
- 41:27Speaker 6: podcast actually, which I believe is the first chase.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Tell me what.
- 41:31Speaker 3: Actually, I'm a big fan of watching people make curries,
- 41:34Speaker 3: particularly Indian curries.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Yes, there's something about.
- 41:39Speaker 3: There's something about there's something about Indian curries being made
- 41:43Speaker 3: from scratch that that really affect me.
- 41:47Speaker 4: And it's only Indian carries, only Indian curries, like a
- 41:50Speaker 4: tie curry.
- 41:51Speaker 6: I didn't see anybody do that curry or an Indian
- 41:54Speaker 6: carry for that man.
- 41:54Speaker 3: And I also love watching people cook crabs. It's another
- 41:59Speaker 3: weird watching look like bastards to eat.
- 42:03Speaker 4: But you know what's weird? Soft shell crab. We just
- 42:06Speaker 4: eat the whole thing.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that.
- 42:08Speaker 4: It's so weird, isn't it?
- 42:09Speaker 2: And a really spicy sauce.
- 42:11Speaker 4: Ye bring it?
- 42:12Speaker 5: How do you?
- 42:13Speaker 4: What's the deal with that?
- 42:14Speaker 5: Are we doing?
- 42:14Speaker 2: What's for tea tonight?
- 42:15Speaker 4: By the way, No, it's tomorrow. Ye sorry, fellas, everyone's
- 42:19Speaker 4: favorite sement's not happening. Yeah, what's your take on crabs? Mogi?
- 42:24Speaker 4: I'd rather not have them, that's funny.
- 42:31Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune in.
- 42:36Speaker 3: On radio supergroup There on the Radio hod A Key,
- 42:41Speaker 3: Big show.
- 42:41Speaker 2: But we've got some kind of breaking news.
- 42:46Speaker 4: This is breaking news. Well it's kind of what's not
- 42:52Speaker 4: right now, but that's what breaking me news. That's the
- 42:56Speaker 4: first time I've broken the news on the show show.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I mean.
- 42:59Speaker 6: Yes, the rock and roll band Jane's Addiction, who I
- 43:02Speaker 6: love A big fan of Jane's Addiction. They've got been
- 43:05Speaker 6: on tour for the first time in fourteen years with
- 43:07Speaker 6: their original lineup which includes Dave Navarro and also on guitar,
- 43:13Speaker 6: and also Perry Farrell lead guitarist, and also they've got
- 43:18Speaker 6: a dude on I think on bass is it Tim
- 43:22Speaker 6: Avery or something rather like that, who was also in
- 43:24Speaker 6: Hoole from memory right, Okay, you know, so they sort
- 43:26Speaker 6: of mix it up a little bit, but a bloody
- 43:27Speaker 6: good band, but they're always a little bit.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Tim pestuous, dysfunctions, really nice.
- 43:34Speaker 6: Tim Pertuis is really great, thanks man, really perfect, the
- 43:38Speaker 6: perfect word you've come up with the Well anyway, they're
- 43:40Speaker 6: back on tour and a couple of nights ago they
- 43:43Speaker 6: got into a bit of biffo on stage between Perry
- 43:46Speaker 6: Farrell and Dave Navarro and I say, beffo. You know
- 43:50Speaker 6: Perry Farrell's sixty five years old. Yes, it's a certain
- 43:54Speaker 6: kind of fighting once you get to that kind of age.
- 43:57Speaker 6: And as a result of this fisty caffs. The complaint
- 44:02Speaker 6: there was that Perry was saying that the band was
- 44:04Speaker 6: playing too loud. So he's sort of on stage the
- 44:09Speaker 6: way that a boom and neighbor would be if there's
- 44:12Speaker 6: a party next door, and he's complaining about the noise
- 44:15Speaker 6: of the party. But the problem is it's his party.
- 44:19Speaker 2: Go down there.
- 44:20Speaker 6: I'm trying to see this over there. So as a result,
- 44:24Speaker 6: the entire tour has been canned. Goodness, she's all over,
- 44:29Speaker 6: and Dave Navarau has released a statement say due to
- 44:31Speaker 6: a continuing pattern of behavior and the mental health difficulties
- 44:34Speaker 6: of our singer Perry Farrell, he's not mincing words.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Here, Yes, he's straight.
- 44:38Speaker 6: We've come to the conclusion we have no choice but
- 44:40Speaker 6: to discontinue the current tour. Our concern for his personal
- 44:44Speaker 6: health and safety, as well as our own, has left
- 44:46Speaker 6: us with no alternative. At previous gigs, Perry Farrell had
- 44:51Speaker 6: been launching into many nonsensical rants about cow pastures, mushrooms, surfing,
- 44:56Speaker 6: living in Florida, and arguing with his brother about politics
- 45:00Speaker 6: while chugging from a bottle of wine throughout the performance.
- 45:04Speaker 9: Wow, sounds pretty standy, really rock and roll stuff, isn't it?
- 45:08Speaker 6: But you can see how weird that. But the problem is, like,
- 45:10Speaker 6: what you want is the guy that's hammered. You want
- 45:13Speaker 6: everybody else to be getting annoyed at ham If the
- 45:15Speaker 6: guy that's hammered is getting annoyed at everybody who's sober,
- 45:19Speaker 6: they're not doing anything wrong. Yes, it's a tough at
- 45:22Speaker 6: the office.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Therein lies a problem.
- 45:24Speaker 6: What does Jane make of all this? I think Jane
- 45:27Speaker 6: passed away some years ago? Actually, right, sad tale. That's
- 45:34Speaker 6: really They've got some bloody good chone and hopefully they
- 45:36Speaker 6: can get back together and open up for an oasis
- 45:38Speaker 6: next year.
- 45:39Speaker 4: That's what I'm hoping for.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:40Speaker 4: Wow, and you'll have a fifty percent chance of seeing
- 45:43Speaker 4: both bands completely.
- 45:45Speaker 6: Now it would drop to about ten. It's low far out.
- 45:49Speaker 4: I'm sorry to b I didn't realize what a sad
- 45:51Speaker 4: story behind the band is it really? Oh, it's a
- 45:53Speaker 4: sad story. To google it. You give it a google, right.
- 45:55Speaker 4: I was just trying to make the sort of a
- 45:57Speaker 4: have a little bit of a gag there, and that radio.
- 46:00Speaker 6: Often how it can happen, but we just don't know
- 46:01Speaker 6: about you know, the band or you know what.
- 46:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's a it's a tricky road.
- 46:05Speaker 6: It's a tight rope, isn't it. Really.
- 46:09Speaker 3: I'm just a bit nervous when you say you're going
- 46:10Speaker 3: to google stuff because I know that you got these
- 46:12Speaker 3: weird rhythms going on with your algorithm and stuff popping
- 46:16Speaker 3: up on your phone.
- 46:18Speaker 4: Rhythm because the word rhythm is an algorithm.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I just rhy it.
- 46:22Speaker 3: That's clever, and you know, because of all the buzzies
- 46:25Speaker 3: and stuff that are cut up on your phone and cool.
- 46:28Speaker 4: But we're finishing this break like this is good buzzy chat.
- 46:32Speaker 5: Yeah, but yeah, interesting.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Anyway, They Big Show Podcast.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Radio ho Nucky Big Show this Tuesday evening. Let's talk TV.
- 46:47Speaker 2: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 46:53Speaker 7: Yeah that's pretty good.
- 47:03Speaker 6: Actually bad had a little bit of his tone to it, there,
- 47:07Speaker 6: didn't it. Yeah, a bit of the brato not bad. Hey,
- 47:11Speaker 6: I watched a movie and it's been a while since
- 47:13Speaker 6: I watched a movie. But I watched a movie and
- 47:14Speaker 6: it was called The Holdovers.
- 47:16Speaker 4: You know about that one?
- 47:17Speaker 6: Yes, is directed by Alexander Payne and stars Paul G. Muddy, Yes,
- 47:25Speaker 6: who was also in Alexander Payne Sideways if you remember
- 47:30Speaker 6: that Wine Country one that he did. Yes, And it's
- 47:32Speaker 6: sat in a school and it's over the it's over
- 47:34Speaker 6: the Christmas New Year break and the sort of five
- 47:37Speaker 6: people that have to stay at the school because their
- 47:39Speaker 6: parents are too busy to look after them. And it's
- 47:43Speaker 6: sort of a character study of that good Man good movie. Yes, yep,
- 47:46Speaker 6: it's you know, it's not super it's a it's an
- 47:49Speaker 6: Alexander Payne movie. It's a drama, it's funny, it's a
- 47:52Speaker 6: little bit touching and point characters. Yes, but I thoroughly,
- 48:00Speaker 6: thoroughly enjoyed it. Just an easy going, yeah, just well
- 48:03Speaker 6: made film.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:04Speaker 3: I watched it about a month ago, right, and I
- 48:07Speaker 3: was the same. I thought it was nicely done.
- 48:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I watched that like two weeks ago. I thought
- 48:11Speaker 4: it was really poignant.
- 48:13Speaker 5: You like the.
- 48:13Speaker 6: Poignancyne, Yeah, when it just described for me the word poignant, What.
- 48:17Speaker 4: Does it sort of like when the movies are really
- 48:19Speaker 4: good and it makes you feel stuff.
- 48:21Speaker 6: You know.
- 48:22Speaker 4: That's so true emotive. What did you watch it on?
- 48:25Speaker 6: I watched it on Netflix, right and actually Divine Joy
- 48:30Speaker 6: Randolph who played the cook, the chef, the cook. Yes,
- 48:35Speaker 6: she won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role, which,
- 48:39Speaker 6: if I'm honest, surprises me.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Yes, because it was all right, but.
- 48:44Speaker 4: It wasn't as poignant as I would have liked. She
- 48:46Speaker 4: would have more poignancy. Yeah, I think it's a bit
- 48:49Speaker 4: more from the shift would have been good. Yes, what
- 48:52Speaker 4: did you ask case?
- 48:53Speaker 2: I watched Game of Two Halves?
- 48:56Speaker 4: Wow, the episode from last week? Yes, oh you should
- 48:58Speaker 4: have watched the mark Elis smith Ridge.
- 49:02Speaker 3: You go back to the old series. Yeah, yeah, massive
- 49:07Speaker 3: eachy that's me. I thought you did a good job.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Kezy compliment, it feels real, sarcastic.
- 49:19Speaker 2: I thought you did an excellent job.
- 49:20Speaker 9: Thank you every week? No really, yes, why's that? And
- 49:27Speaker 9: it's nothing to do with the show per se.
- 49:31Speaker 3: It is that it's just not my genre of Yeah,
- 49:35Speaker 3: so I don't enjoy those type of shows.
- 49:37Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, you couldn't pretend to just on the radio.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Oh look I had the odd little.
- 49:44Speaker 3: And chuckle, but no, I thought you were excellent, man,
- 49:48Speaker 3: and I think everyone's excellent on it.
- 49:50Speaker 2: It's just not my type of TV.
- 49:51Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, because you were saying that
- 49:53Speaker 6: you played it but your wife, because there's all trivia
- 49:56Speaker 6: questions in there, and your wife just hammad you.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, she she got all of the questions right
- 50:01Speaker 3: way before me.

- 50:18Speaker 3: he'll be stoked.
- 50:19Speaker 4: I watched Sleepy Shooser Island last night. How'd you go? Yeah?
- 50:23Speaker 9: It was.
- 50:23Speaker 4: It's all good. It's funny because there's a couple of
- 50:26Speaker 4: people on the show that I know, and other people
- 50:29Speaker 4: are trying to convince them to like play duty, and
- 50:31Speaker 4: they're like, I want to get inside their head and
- 50:33Speaker 4: see what they are thinking. And I know that one
- 50:35Speaker 4: of these people in particular is thinking nothing and doesn't
- 50:38Speaker 4: really care, but everyone else is like, oh.
- 50:40Speaker 5: Man, I wonder to what that thinking, Yeah, what's that?
- 50:41Speaker 2: What's the play?
- 50:43Speaker 4: And I know this person is like I don't care, right,
- 50:46Speaker 4: I do not care at all.
