- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: I need to build generation now, well, from me and for them.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: 24 years old, I got my real estate license at 18 years old.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_02]: And on the youngest son, I'm 18, my name's Caleb.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: When you have for a lot of times, it'll be a mess, you're a doctor or a pharmacist.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then later on, I'm like, oh my god, let me clean people's houses.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: I saved $80,000.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: How did you save $80,000?
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just cleaning people's houses.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_02]: Going to breast cancer, you get into development.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't like seeing mom like that.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_02]: Like when she had to cut her hair and everything.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_03]: When we're going through that time period, I was a little bit scared but at the same time, I felt like she was going to overcome.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: And if you stop competing and compete just with yourself then money comes.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_04]: Not only are you a multi-millionaire you're setting your family up to do the same, but even a lot of your mentees and people you work with like everyone has made millions of dollars working with you.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_04]: You've done a lot of development for the stars.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: I don't sit and I sit oh I'm gonna make $10 million this year or $20 million.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to keep buying houses.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_04]: I've been an author and publisher for over 15 years.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_04]: I've written over 40 books.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_04]: Seven of them have been bestseller and I sold over 250,000 copies.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_04]: But listen, I also help a lot of my clients take their expertise and put it into a story that creates multiple streams of income from that.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_04]: So I want to help you do the same thing.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_04]: So text me, my book, to 646-687-4152.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_04]: All right, all right, let's get back to the show.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so welcome to another awesome ever sort of inside the vote with Ash Cash.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_04]: The greatest money mindset show on the planet, listen, most people dream about building wealth very few people build wealth that outlives them.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_04]: Today's guests didn't just become a millionaire in real estate.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_04]: She came to America with a dream, started her career saving lives as a nurse practitioner, survived breast cancer, built up a folio of more than 216 properties, developed hundreds of luxury homes, and created millions of dollars in real estate wealth.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_04]: But what may be even more impressive is that she's building a family dynasty.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_04]: At just 24 years old, her eldest son is already a licensed general contractor with 24 investment properties.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_04]: Her middle son is a licensed real estate agent and contract that's in training.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_04]: Her youngest son is already investing in real estate before most people graduate college today.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_04]: We're talking about how you go from immigrant to empire, from nurse practitioner to developer, from surviving cancer to building communities and from creating wealth for yourself, to creating a legacy your children's can expand.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_04]: If you've ever wondered how real estate creates generational wealth, not just income, this is the one conversation you don't want to miss.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_04]: So ladies and gentlemen, I don't have a doubt for thee.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_04]: Delphine Ryan after he says in the bill that.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_04]: That's my pleasure.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_04]: My pleasure.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: I am glad to be here.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm excited about this.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_04]: It's interview because not only do you have a story of trying of a story of overcoming
- 4:15[SPEAKER_04]: You also have a story of transition right transitioning from a nurse practitioner to I said million in but put some respect on your name Molotop million, Molotop million here.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_04]: I go for all your business out there because I That's it.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_04]: I heard I heard through the brain vibe with the network and my go for all your business out there But to be able to do that.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's fascinating
- 4:38[SPEAKER_04]: But what's even more fascinating because, you know, I'm a financial educator, I do, you know, research and I know the numbers.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_04]: Generational wealth is usually lost after the third generation, right?
- 4:50[SPEAKER_04]: And because, and that's not just black, that's black, Spanish, that's white, that's Asian.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_04]: But because most people who come from backgrounds like we come from we become the first millionaires in our family We don't pass down knowledge.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_04]: We pass down money.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_04]: We pass down privilege.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_04]: We pass but we don't pass down knowledge and then that's how it gets lost
- 5:11[SPEAKER_04]: But what you're doing currently in real time is phenomenal.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_04]: You got three young black men who are multi-millionaires themselves, right?
- 5:21[SPEAKER_04]: Not just because of what you are going to pass down to them, but based on the knowledge that they're implementing.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_04]: So this show for me is like, I'm taking notes because I got two kids and I'm like, man, like my daughter, just her A.T. is, I don't know, I'm about 24.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_04]: She got to have all those stuff too.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_04]: Um, after your conference, I said, you know, because I'm a Friday's guy.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_04]: So I told my wife.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_04]: I said, you know, we need to start an insurance company.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_04]: And so, so I literally created the LLC.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, me, my wife and my daughter.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_04]: I got, I got to somebody.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_04]: He's going to do a different business.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_04]: And we're going to, that's going to be my, my daughter's business.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to, we're going to teach her how to build wealth through, but come on.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_04]: And I saw that because I'm looking at it.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_04]: This is Diamond Steen Action, so welcome.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_04]: And so before we start, like I gave this dope intro for those who know who is Delphine Bryant and I want you guys to introduce yourself as well.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I'm Delphine Bryant, you know, came here from Africa in 1998.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, your roommate worked as a housekeeper in a nursing home making $5.75.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then I also worked part-time at Churches Chicken Restaurant at the same time making $5.50.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: And then, on the weekends, I breathed here.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: So I worked seven days a week for about two years.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: Not having a day off.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Wow, wow.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you're right.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, next week because I want to get back to that because I know what that, but it's also me living.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_03]: My name's Yonic Jin.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_03]: I'm 24 years old.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_03]: Um, graduate 2020 became a real estate agent.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_03]: Then after that, just recently I became a general contractor as well.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_03]: So I've been going through a process of building luxury homes and just learning more every single day.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: Nice love at love at love a job.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll do it.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: I hope y'all can hear me good, but uh, my name's Jocelyn Jank.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm 20 years old.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a man of God.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I got my real state license at 18 years old.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, I'm still working with my older brother, my uncle and my mom because I'm inspiring to be a contractor soon, but I'm also in school for architecture as well.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: So kind of spread myself out and yeah.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm the youngest son.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: I'm 18.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: My name's Caleb and I'm in school now.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's my second year studying residential construction and I'm just happy to be here having to be here.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: My family.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thank you.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_04]: No, so it's my pleasure, you know, one of the things that I take pride of is really amplify and voices, you know, you know, I have a, you know, a past, you know, my mom was an immigrant from Haiti, and so I know what it's like, you know, struggling and trying to figure things out.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_04]: And so, you know, having this platform, when I see people who need to be platforms, who need their voices elevated, I want to be able to do that.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_04]: And what intrigued me most about your story, Delphine, is, you know, again, like, I don't like to use the word tragedy or many obstacles, the one, like obstacle after obstacle after obstacle.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_04]: You have overcome so many obstacles to be where you are right now.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_04]: And where you are right now, you know, as not only are you a multi-millionaire and have more time millions, you know, real estate portfolio, you're setting your family up to do the same, you work with your brother, who, you know, does the same.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_04]: But even a lot of your mentees and
- 9:32[SPEAKER_04]: people you work with, like everyone has made millions of dollars kind of working with you, take us back to that time where you're like hustling, you're working $5,000 an hour, you're a man, you're doing all these things.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_04]: Did you believe that you would be here?
- 9:51[SPEAKER_04]: There was this ever a thought, like how did this, how did this happen?
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thank you.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: So just coming here from Africa, you know, you coming here and you're like, I'm in America, you know, you want to enjoy that American dream.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_00]: So my goal at the time is to help me and my sisters to take care of our other sisters and our parents.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: So that was what, you know, I focused on just work work work, make money, send it back home, you know, so our parents or my other brothers and sisters can go to school.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: So, but then I just kept hustling and working 16 hours a day every day, you know, walking over time at a net in home, going to be a certified net in that system.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: And my sister is like, no, you need to go to school.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: But then I'm like, no, I want, I just keep seeing money.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: I looked at $1,000.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: It was so big for me.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay, I need to just keep working hard.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then later on, I'm like, oh my god, let me clean people's houses.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: I want to be a cleaner because I saw, I can clean the house and make a hundred dollars.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: So, started cleaning people's houses and then I realized, wow, I just had my LLC.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: I saved $80,000.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay, let me open a nest and a beauty supply store.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: Lack of food.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, you got it.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: How did you save $80,000?
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just cleaning people's houses.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: I was able to put my money, trust me.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: I never shop, never went to a restaurant, you know, to buy fast food and I cook at home and eat.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know, for the whole week, I have my food that I've cooked one meal and I put it in your bowls and I put it in a refrigerator and just saving everything and save $60, $80,000.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, I want to do business.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: I love to do business because I used to follow my aunt in Africa and we go sell tomatoes, whatever we can sell for $2.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Now go back home so excited.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like let me do a beauty supply store.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: So I put my money in there.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: First mistake, coming to America within two years, not knowing location, it's all about business, location, location, open that beauty supply store, lack of knowledge, I lost that money.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and my sister said, you got to go to Nesson School, because when you're a foreigner, a lot of times, either we are in Ness, you're a doctor or a pharmacist.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: My sister is a good nurse in school, so I went to school, became a licensed practical nurse, and just kept walking over time, brought my high school sweetheart here, and we just kept walking hard and having babies, and just walking over time, over time, every day as a nurse, and then, you know,
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: had a divorce, same year, had breast cancer, same year, so I batted with that.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: But during the time that I was a nurse, I, I, I just kept talking to my brother because I'm in a hospital, I'm making 30 cents, you know, race and never gotten promoted as a supervisor or anything.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, no, I know I'm smart.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: I just kept getting, you know, that journey of walking and
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: Every day you can't call out you call out then you make 10 cents raise and I'm like I know I'm smart.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: I keep telling my brother.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like where I am.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: I want to be in a better space I know I'm smart, but you know, I don't know the world.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just focus on working home 16 hours Trust me.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: I was in Atlanta.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: Never came to Bocke Never came to the city.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: Just keep walking in a local hospital and just work and then I'm like, I know I'm smart.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: My brother is like, well, since you never promote it, get into real estate because if you get into real estate and somebody stays in your house, yeah.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: you can make extra money and then you don't have to work too much overtime and if they don't pay your rents you can evict them.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: So that's how he taught me to buy the first property and then I started learning about cash are refinance.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm like, okay, if I cash, I'll refinance one property, I can pull the money from that property and buy the second, buy the third, that's how I ended up, like after 14 months and made a million dollars, that was in 2014.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: So I was able to make a million.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I knew that, okay, I can keep doing this and getting more and more houses, but no knowledge about development, nothing
- 14:29[SPEAKER_00]: building houses onto our home with cancer and a divorce and I was like okay I have to transition to a home and I started looking at land and I'm like okay now I have cancer I'm depressed I'm thinking I'm going to die it's a fast-growing cancer but I'm like I need to fight yeah I need to forgive
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: you know, about whatever happened through my journey of getting at that stage with the divorce, if I don't forgive, I'll not be positive.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I started talking to myself, talking to Jesus a lot, and I'm like, I have to forgive, I have to.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: So when I was able to forgive, my mind was bright, brighter, and then I started saying, I'm gonna fight this cancer.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_04]: Did you make the million before it?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_04]: cancer?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, and so how many years were you a nurse practitioner before you got into the real estate?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: About 15 years.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so 15 years in nurse practitioner?
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: So 15 years of being a nurse?
- 15:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: And then I went to nurse practitioner school, I think in 2015.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: Graduated in 2016 and then I had cancer in 2017.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: Why are going through divorce and all that?
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_04]: I want to unpack that for a second because you said something without saying it though, right?
- 15:55[SPEAKER_04]: Like, and I don't want anybody to miss that.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_04]: You said, you know, let me forgive, right?
- 16:00[SPEAKER_04]: Because the forgiveness, a lot of people think forgiveness is for the other person.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_04]: But you're kind of
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like you elaborate a little bit on that because I don't want to put words in your mouth, but I hurt it, but yeah, so going through that divorce was bad, you know, that was my high school sweetheart, that's the only person I knew on my life and then going through that
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: I was so upset, I was miserable, I was depressed and then, you know, then three months later through divorce cancer happened.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: I thought I wasn't going to even breathe, you know, my kids were 19 and 15 and it was sad.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: So, and then I had cancer and then they say, it's a fast-gring cancer.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm like, okay,
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: How am I going to do this?
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: I was scared for them.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: I was just upset.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then my mom came to help me With cancer, she doesn't know how to even drive He has to go cross the road and help with groceries, you know, and I'm like, okay, I'm in this space
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting angry and then cancer with chemo, nothing is getting better because I'm not happy.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: The doctors are like, you're going to die.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to, you know, the cancer, the chemo is not helping.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: You need to struggle and I'm going through a divorce and I'm like, okay, I need to talk to my ex, I need to forgive.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need him to say, I need to be happy.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: So I live an intentional life every day.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I talk myself out, I don't mind apologizing even if I'm right, to live, to be happy.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_00]: And just to be on Ed now is good, you know, it's the best thing.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: So going through this process, I want to hope my kids, I want to talk to them, I want to...
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: make myself this journey of life a good one.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I had to say, okay, I forgive you.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I forgive you.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: I hope my ex when I see him anywhere with with love.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: If he comes to me with danks and and we move on and yeah, I went through that and then I realized that my journey in life is so peaceful.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so much at this everyday.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm soon.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: I get up every day.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: is my therapy.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_04]: And it wasn't in the forgiveness in being happy.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_04]: Like when did you get the news that I, you can't so free.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like so going through therapy, you know, not the therapy with me myself because I had to talk to myself and you know, I had a double mastectomy and then after that, then I became
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm moving to a house.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: I need a home and then I felt like God sent me an angel.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: I keep looking at him.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: One of my the guys I work with is a contractor.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: I still say he's one of the angels.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: God sent to me because through that journey of
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: Me looking at the house that he built.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: I said I want to talk to the only person who built this house.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: So the agent is like, you have to buy a lot before I introduce you to that agent.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: So he showed me a lot.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: I was going through cancer.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay, I'm going to give you a down payment.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: When I'm done with surgery, I'll come back for this particular builder to build my house.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_00]: So when he built that house, he was honest with me.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: He told me how much money he made.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_00]: Also, I have all this random properties.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't make this amount of money.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: Let me learn the process.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, okay, I'll teach you.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_00]: And he started teaching me.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'm like, okay, there's a lot of money in line.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: Let me learn how to buy land.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I actually paid somebody $40,000 to show me how to sub divide land.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: And once I followed him two, three times I was able to catch it.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay, I got it now.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to work as a nurse.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to retire and then I'm going to focus.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: and start building.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_00]: And then he was 18, getting to be like 16, 17, walking out jobs, you know, walking in restaurants and stuff like that, walking at Walmart.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, son, if you learn and get these license, you can be an agent.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you can list our houses.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: And you can make 15, 20,000, 50,000 that I'm paying on the agents.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, okay, Mom,
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: He took the calls while he was 18, passed it, so he started co-listing with other agents, that would list our properties.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the other two are still in high school.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_04]: Do you are remember the journey like going to the forest, fresh cancer, talk about that a little bit?
- 21:05[SPEAKER_04]: What was your, what was going through your mind?
- 21:07[SPEAKER_04]: How you feeling?
- 21:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I do remember that time period.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_03]: I mean like I feel like my mom always got like good energy though.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_03]: So like like when we're going through that time period like I was a little bit scared but at the same time, I felt like she was gonna overcome it because you always overcome it stuff like that.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, I wasn't like
- 21:31[SPEAKER_03]: For some reason like I was scared of course like seeing my mom go through pain and all that kind of stuff like that It's sad because I remember like a lot of those times being like her crying a lot and stuff like that But also part of me like I just always felt like she was gonna get past and just be strong Yeah, yeah, that's always what she being so I feel like we had a good Child as far as yeah, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, but yeah me my brothers
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: How about y'all like what do y'all remember or yeah, we're kind of young, but I grew a yonic Yeah, I didn't like seeing mom like that like when she had to cover her hair and everything But I never thought mom was gonna die in the end there season never yeah really never yeah really and mom always
- 22:20[SPEAKER_02]: She had faith in God and faith in Jesus.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: This is going to overcome it.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_02]: God is going to give it a strength in everything.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: And we always pray during that time.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_02]: We were praying a lot.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, my mom was strong person.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: We got a tight family.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_03]: So it's just drawn first.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_03]: I never just thought like, yeah, that was going to be it.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no matter what.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_02]: But it was definitely tough during that time.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: For sure.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_02]: I remember that.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_04]: And then so now like going through that time, you know, you're going through breast cancer, you're getting to development.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_04]: What was that first big guy?
- 23:00[SPEAKER_04]: And you and your son is, you know, studying to get into the business as well.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_04]: What was that first moment where you finally, or was there a time when you were like, all right,
- 23:12[SPEAKER_04]: This is it.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_04]: This is going to make me, like, did you think about wealth?
- 23:17[SPEAKER_04]: Like, what's your thought process now that you've been introduced to this new way of living as far as like building, you know, developing a bit, building our homes?
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, get in into this and having the kids and their all boys,
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, okay, I need to build well.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: I need to build generational wealth for me and for them.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: And listening to people like John Ho Brand and you know how they've built, you know, well, Robert Kiosaki, I listen to books and books and books and I started learning how to save money.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm going to buy a luxury car, I usually buy a house, then the tenant will pay for my car.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I never get into luxury and just spend money like that.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_00]: I started looking at how can I be a wealth and not using my money?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: How can I own multiple properties?
- 24:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I started learning about trust.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: I would read and read about trust that we everything is protected.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: And so I just started learning more, learning more and more how to own multiple properties, how to own land.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_00]: How to have multiple LLCs that way you protect in your assets, how to put them on the adjust and how to make sure that they are secured financially and they never have to work the way I do.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: So we do a lot of...
- 24:50[SPEAKER_00]: praying a lot of talking a lot like every week I tell my kids how we can make money if they get in a luxury car or the buying a car it has to be a property that we invest and money on that we
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: Anything luxury or anything that we're getting into, that is going to be an invest, you know, we have to invest down money in real estate and then down money pays for luxury.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: I love that.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_04]: Like how does it feel like today, right?
- 25:28[SPEAKER_04]: Being worth a lot of money.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_04]: Um, having your kids set up to a point where, you know, they own properties, right?
- 25:38[SPEAKER_04]: And that they are making their own money, if you will.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I love the, that concept of the asset paying for the liabilities.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_04]: Um, how does that feel to you now, like knowing what you overcame, knowing that, you know, your, your faith in God, like really,
- 25:57[SPEAKER_04]: is the reason why you're still here?
- 25:59[SPEAKER_04]: Like what is that feeling like?
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: So, for me, just being a life is good, right?
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: And now the millions come.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I believe also in working with integrity, working with honesty is somebody's coming to work with me.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to take advantage of somebody not knowing what they're doing.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: I would rather you learn the process and if you can learn the process and go invest with your family, I still feel good about it.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of times business comes to me because I'm honest, I'll show you whatever it is, I'll show you the numbers and then I'll ask for a payment.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: So with that, I get so many projects come to me.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even look for projects projects come to me.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_00]: And then I like to be extravagant now, but at first I never used to spend money the way I spend money now because I want to enjoy life now, because I'm getting older, but you know,
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: The money comes, you know, making millions now, I can sit, I know how to do numbers and I've educated myself a lot and that's what a lot of people lack, that that lack of knowledge when you don't know how to...
- 27:21[SPEAKER_00]: place yourself, you don't know how to invest, then you will know how to make millions, a lot of people just see people building houses and they want to build that you have to educate yourself about.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_00]: If it's a land, the location, the school district, you know, the location is so important and then you learn about the numbers.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: And don't just get into loans.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: You have to learn how to get a loan.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's so important to know when to take the loan, how to get the loan and how to pay the loan.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: That way you have an exit strategy.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I always teach my kids.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_00]: We don't just jump into loans.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know, sometimes we don't need to take a loan or if we get it into a loan.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: How do we pay it off?
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's why we who all these properties and maybe any of them are paid off.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: That we, you know, there's nothing that is always going to affect any of those properties.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: So Well, it's good that you don't have to walk that much and then
- 28:20[SPEAKER_00]: them being good kids like all of them they are really good they don't spend money done much you know most of the time they are like more I don't do I don't need it he's building houses he's never touched the money he's building from because he has his clothing brand so he fits all from that clothing brand whatever he's in really state he's never asked for it and he just put it in a
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: and none of them are, you know, they are spenders.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: So they understand how to save money.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Caleb usually acts for food and gas.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_00]: He saved the money and I teach them how to not spend the money that way.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: We just invested on a house.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: I've taught them how to have their LLCs every one of them on their multiple LLCs that way.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: We build teach them what is important about
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: a portfolio.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm teaching them how to create projects that all have portfolios now.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: No, not like that.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: What does what does what does wealth mean to you are so at 18, 20, 24, like when you hear the word wealth being wealthy young men too, like what does that, what does that mean?
- 29:32[SPEAKER_03]: To me, I feel like, I feel like wealth, I feel like it's definitely has to do with me thinking about generational wealth.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_03]: But I feel like wealth also has to do with like maybe like also your lifestyle and being able to do the things that you want to and like you're comfortable with the money that you have.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not a mess.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_03]: Everything is like a number.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, for sure.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_03]: But I think it's just like how you're living.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like, you know how your life is actually gone.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_04]: And I love that you say that because I have the same ideology actually, because when I was growing up, people would always
- 30:12[SPEAKER_04]: kind of say man like if you know to be wealthy you got to be worth this so you got to be worth that and funny enough I was like like my mom had never made more than 30,000 but she was wealthy to me because at 30,000 she lived the life that she wanted to live and in fact I think a lot of times when people put those
- 30:31[SPEAKER_04]: Like numbers to it, that's when they mess life up, right?
- 30:34[SPEAKER_04]: Because, you know, I mean, I'll be honest with you.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_04]: Like there was a time where, you know, I think I was making like maybe half a million a year or so like that.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_04]: And that was enough, like, that was enough for me.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't really need like my, my expenses, like to live my best life ago, not even like nothing extravagant, because I'm not a traffic in God.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_04]: But my best life was like 420,000.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_04]: Like if I could make 420,000, I'm good.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_04]: But then I was around other people who were like, I'm a millionaire, I'm a millionaire.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_04]: So for the vanity reason, I was like, I want to make millions of dollars.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_04]: And so there was a period of time where I was aiming to make millions of dollars.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_04]: But at the same time, I messed it up.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_04]: I messed it up the thing that I messed it up my life.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I'm not enjoying life because I'm chasing what everybody else is chasing.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_04]: So I love that you said that that wealth is not a number is based on a lifestyle that you that you want to have.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna see you guys tonight.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: Well, when I think about Wolf, our first thing about comfort, like Yonic said, like just being able to live comfortably and not really feeling dragged by like any greed or any stress or just being weighed down by your responsibilities, but just being able to like, you know, like being able to retire before like, without doing yourself or just being able to take care of your loved ones.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I was doing the same thing like Walt is like security like don't for like if you just have security for the next generation and for your life I think you're wealthy.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we never look at millions like the millions come But we just want to be comfortable.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then we we have broader sisters and cousins that we all like we're doing it together So when everybody's comfortable then we're good
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: Is that like the secret?
- 32:29[SPEAKER_04]: Is that the key to it right because I'm a cool Kanye West, right?
- 32:33[SPEAKER_04]: But Kanye West said when you try hard you die hard, right?
- 32:36[SPEAKER_04]: And I feel like I feel like everybody And then again, I'll talk about myself too.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_04]: Like when I was trying like when I was like
- 32:45[SPEAKER_04]: gotta make this happen.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_04]: I gotta do this.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_04]: Like there was like there's like an energy like I like I know that money is the energy and I think money is repelled by desperate energy.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_04]: Like if you're like desperate like I gotta make this happen.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_04]: This has to do that uh and then and then I was working hard but I wasn't gonna get a money.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_04]: But it wasn't until I was like, I'm like, chill, you know what it is when it is.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna go out here, I'm gonna put the energy out, I'm gonna let, you know, I'm gonna let stuff come to me and see your point.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_04]: Like I feel like I attract the most amount of money when I'm not worried about it.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_04]: And so y'all are like cool.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_04]: I love y'all.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_04]: Like y'all are like cool, right?
- 33:22[SPEAKER_04]: And like y'all have this cool What other people will call like nonchalant happy attitude But I truly believe that money is attracted to that.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_04]: So is is there a science that like is the fact that you you make millions Right the fact that like look 24
- 33:41[SPEAKER_04]: Bro, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm using that money because the way I was bought up at 24, I wanted to, I wanted the world to know, right?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_04]: But you chilling like you, I'm not even, you, right?
- 33:52[SPEAKER_04]: And so is, is, is that the key?
- 33:54[SPEAKER_04]: Is that like if, if you were teaching somebody right now, right?
- 33:57[SPEAKER_04]: So somebody who,
- 33:58[SPEAKER_04]: is, you know, maybe live in paycheck to paycheck and you're teaching them, like, how do you attract millions?
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: Is that the secret?
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think how do you attract millions?
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: First is the mindset.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_00]: Mindset of knowing what you want.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then surrounding yourself with the right people, people that add value to your life is so important.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_00]: because you can have friends that they just negative or friends that they want to compare with each order.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: I want to buy these pair of shoes.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_00]: What car are you driving?
- 34:32[SPEAKER_00]: If you keep attracting yourself to that,
- 34:35[SPEAKER_00]: then you're going to be chasing money, you know, but when you have that positive mindset, and then you look at how much money do I make, how much money can I save, how much money can I invest, like for me in my first property, or how do I learn how to buy the second one?
- 34:52[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_00]: Once you start getting that mindset to go and having that good energy, you realize that the money just comes.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_00]: And then some people are greedy, as soon as they start knowing how to make money,
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: They start being greedy because they want so much more instead of working hard to show people how to do it, to help people also that, hey, if I'm doing it, you can do it because like my background, African nurse, work, go home.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_00]: I never knew that there's so much money in real estate or land development.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_00]: Once I knew how to do it, I'm like, I want to tell anybody that can listen to me.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: That, hey, this is how to do it.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm never going to get keep.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: because there's so much millions out there for anybody to get, you know, I'm never going to get keep, I'm never going to compete with anybody.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like, land comes to me now.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't do for like money, just come, but if you have that positive mindset, and then you love what you do.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like, like I said, my job is my therapy.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_00]: I can get up six o'clock.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like going to walk out.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't walk out.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: I go look at my property.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: Before nine o'clock I walk again.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_00]: I look at it by five o'clock.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_00]: It from so I go to this properties.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm energized I'm never tired because my mind is so sharp and it's so good for sure that I love it.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: I look at it.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: I tell in the bathroom I go back three times.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: looking at the bathroom and like them, I'm good, you know, and then I want to work hard to keep educated.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: So don't mind that it's so powerful.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_00]: And if you stop competing with anybody and compete just with yourself, the money comes.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_04]: The money comes.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_04]: I love that.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_04]: How do you
- 36:36[SPEAKER_04]: Because I know somebody right now is thinking this that he they're hearing that and they're like well that's easy for you to say now right, but I want to I want to kind of go back to like the struggle you right like you're working these jobs you're struggling.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_04]: How you how do you create that mindset while you're going to a storm right because like somebody right now is like going to a storm.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_04]: Right, and they're like, man, this is tough.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_04]: I'm trying to stay positive, but I can't, right?
- 37:08[SPEAKER_04]: Because the bills, the bills are due, you know, whatever.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_04]: Like, all these things are happening, and I'm trying to keep a positive meant to out of two, but like, back to back, it's like things after things after things, after things, and like, while you were in the storm, it's raining.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_04]: Right, forget, forget, forget now that, you know, shit, the storm is fast and you like I got the formula like while it's raining like how do you you know how do you switch cuz I know it's my set.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, then mindset and then
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: For me, when I was going through that, I decided that I had to be intentional with my feet in God.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I decided that I was going to learn to know God more.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: And Tang got, you know, I have children that are like, they're so committed to God and they're God fearing.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: So we hold each other, but that part that I was like, okay, I got to do right.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: I also know that life is a journey and every one of us has something we're going through.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: Every one of us that has something to go through, how do you overcome that?
- 38:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: Still that mindset.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Then mindset of that, hey, this is a journey.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: Then mindset that, what am I going through?
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: You have to look at yourself and say, what are you going through?
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_00]: How can you deal with it?
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_00]: And for me, with my problems, like I said, forgiveness was big for me, forgiveness, and then I looked on my surroundings, who adds value to my life and who doesn't?
- 38:42[SPEAKER_00]: Who do I give my time to?
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: I need to rest more, I need to sleep better, I need to, so I started walking on and need to go to bed early, so it nine o'clock my phone is off, you know?
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: I go to sleep and make sure that my kids are good.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: We talk to each other.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: We have our family night that we hold each other's hands with pre.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, we know that that faith, because sometimes the surroundings would just drain you.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes the people you talk to,
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: They listen, but then they're impacting negativity in your life, so I started choosing who I need to talk to.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_00]: Who I need to share with sometimes I don't need to talk to nobody.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_00]: But then, then negativity mindset is so big.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_04]: So, so if I hear you correctly and you correct me from wrong, you're saying your mindset is your mindset and faith is greater than any no-house.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_04]: You're like, so like if somebody, if, if, if, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had a, if you had
- 39:45[SPEAKER_04]: option right now, so you're in a storm and you're looking to your right and it's like fix your mindset that you're looking to the left and this, you know, the practical, the practical know how of how to attain a million dollars.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_04]: you're saying through your experience as somebody who's attracted millions of dollars that you wouldn't immediately go to the million dollars or the practical way you will go to the direction of mindset.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll go to the direction of mindset.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then it'll kid myself more on how to get the million dollars.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_00]: and now educate myself also on staying faithful, because money can come, but what life do you want to live a peaceful, easy life, or to keep chasing millions and just chase millions, money is always going to come.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: But then mindset of feeling positive, feeling energetic, surrounding yourself with the
- 40:47[SPEAKER_04]: you guys are like I've spent some a little bit of time around you and you guys just have great energy, positive, which is obvious like a like a rubble off of like your mom, right?
- 41:02[SPEAKER_04]: As a young, especially black man, you know, where I hate to turn like why and how they kind of like try to call old young black guys, why ends, right?
- 41:12[SPEAKER_04]: But as young black kings who have a sense of, um, you know, financial freedom, right, even at your young age, but
- 41:24[SPEAKER_04]: The world does it, the world's not gonna see that, right?
- 41:26[SPEAKER_04]: The world is probably judging you, the world is probably looking at you.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_04]: How do you navigate like your level of positivity in a world where it's actually counting you out before you even use that vibe?
- 41:40[SPEAKER_04]: They don't know how much time million is.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_04]: Right, they don't know the job, the job guy asks it.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_04]: They don't know that.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_04]: They might make a, you know, see you and how they see you, they might be approaching you in a way.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_04]: How do you navigate that?
- 41:53[SPEAKER_04]: How do you stay positive?
- 41:54[SPEAKER_04]: How do you, you know, not feed into what the world is trying to tell you you are?
- 42:00[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like, I feel like me and my brothers be really just, we stay positive.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_03]: We humble people.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_03]: So we just carry ourselves with, like with confidence,
- 42:12[SPEAKER_03]: help each other and just be around the right people as well.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_03]: So I feel like we do a good job at that, but I feel like
- 42:19[SPEAKER_03]: People need to just continue to stay humble, continue to be with God, continue to just do all these things, and I feel like positivity will come.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_03]: Just naturally, but I feel like that's what I mean.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_03]: So that's what you can't get angry, like somebody, no, I feel like you get angry, of course, but at the same time, it's just controlling that anger, and just being a good person in the day, if you have wrongs, then you need to correct them.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_03]: Just that, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I always just try to make sure that I'm not putting like my value and other people is opinions of me.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: So like once you don't let people necessarily control how you feel about yourself.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's easy and I just always try to stay humble because even.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_01]: even as we keep on going up and we're being exposed more and we're receiving more money or are also human at the end of the day.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: So even if people perceive me a certain way, I mean, it's not too much to be to be honest like, because I think to humble yourself
- 43:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, humility is a big thing.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_02]: There.
- 43:41[SPEAKER_02]: And now that we're blessed, God has blessed our family and blessed my mom.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like, and we're now in like a spotlight of a lot of people.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: And now is a chance to be humble.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, to really show like a how genuine people we are and show has Jesus like changed us, you know, it's really not just time to be humble now that, you know, some, now that we're gonna have a lot of eyes on us.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_02]: And
- 44:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and today's day, like, seeing us, that's really just a goal, just to just be a light and just, yeah, really be humble.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, be humble.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, very close.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: They're close to each other.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and I, you know, I love that because again, like, which is why I said, yeah, we're going to amplify the voices because I think that that's the issue with you will with the world is that you have people who are in pain who are the most vocal.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_04]: right and so because the people who are in pain are the most vocal um people start to think that's normal right and so you might see somebody who makes a lot of money and they make a lot of money but they don't
- 44:58[SPEAKER_04]: you're not right with God, or they are, you know, not in peace, but they're the ones with the microphone, but they're the ones, right?
- 45:08[SPEAKER_04]: And so now you're making other people think, man, in order to be a millionaire, you've got to be a
- 45:15[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, hold like this person, or you got to treat people bad, whatever, but seeing that, you know, you know, like, and I love what you said Caleb like, not at the spike line at the spike light is on it's now to show like now we got to show our humbleness even more because people will expect you to tumble they expect you to talk to talk to talk down how how did you
- 45:41[SPEAKER_04]: How did you get into luxury development, right?
- 45:44[SPEAKER_04]: Cause you've done man, you've done a lot of development for the stars, for a lot of notable people.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_04]: How did you get into that particular list space?
- 45:56[SPEAKER_04]: And how do you stay humble when you're around sort of like celebrities who the world looks at, you know, as these like major figures?
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: So, I'm getting into luxury, like I said, when I was transitioning from my divorce, I was looking for a house.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_00]: So, looked at that property, it was that piece of land was $90,000, I'm like, okay, I can afford it.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then I built the first house, which was $590,000, so at that time I was looking at that house.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_00]: And because I started building in Gwene County, the lot there were averaging that at the time.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: Now they are like $250,000.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_00]: So I just started building my first house was a luxury home.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: that we sold for, I think, $67,000.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: And that first property that I bought right nice, what $1.5 million.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I stayed on the, just knew how to just do luxury.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_00]: And then because I like nice things, I love a big bathroom, love closets,
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, let me stay in this, in this side of my journey, just creating the huge, massive kitchens and just try to make sure that the houses look so good.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: Now we start adding pools in our houses and then, you know, so that part of the question is, I'm sorry, that first
- 47:33[SPEAKER_00]: So just because I'm in that luxury space, I started getting messages from people loving my homes and then, you know, I'll sign an NDA and I'll build them nice, beautiful homes and then just the referrals now is a lot.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: You know, a lot of...
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: I'll make you sound like a non-local, just go through it.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then I'll build them nice houses and then we don't put it on social media as well.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, creating that space
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: you know, humble and deal with integrity and wherever I need to help them to save money, we talk about it, they started referring me to multiple people.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_00]: I have a lot of outlets that live in my houses, lots of celebrities either they're renting or you know, or they
- 48:25[SPEAKER_00]: Nice, nice.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so second part, how do you stay humble?
- 48:28[SPEAKER_04]: Like having, like, but see, because that's the thing, right?
- 48:31[SPEAKER_04]: Like you have everything, most people, like you have everything that would go against being humble, right?
- 48:39[SPEAKER_04]: You got, you got the money, you got the cars, you got the houses, you got the celebrity client, tell, like how do you stay grounded?
- 48:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, I watched a speech one time that Obama was sitting somewhere and he said,
- 48:55[SPEAKER_00]: The celebrities are just like you, they are the same people.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: So once I started getting myself in these spaces, I realized that they are just like me and they needed me and then they started asking me for advice about investments and I realized that, oh, I used to watch this person on TV for years because I've been on social media for three years and I've been watching these people
- 49:22[SPEAKER_00]: They're just like me, they need that help.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_00]: I got so much knowledge, also that I'm also pouring into them.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_00]: And then I've never looked at millions.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_00]: I just, when I make money, I just keep buying houses.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: You know, just keep holding them and then we buy subdivision and then I name them after my kids and then, you know, the money's just there, but, you know, getting into luxury, you know, or driving nice cars, I'm like, okay.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_00]: And like cars is there, but I don't focus on it, I just love houses, you know, the cars is right there like I said, you know, we just I just got them because I was like, okay, it's cool to have a car, but I don't want to also work to pay for a car, I don't like notes, I don't like, you know, if if maybe I flip a land somewhere and I made
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: $300,000 and I'm like, okay, let me get a nice car or let me buy a house, then I get a nice car, but cars usually it's not my thing, houses is what I work for, you know, and then I'll just keep buying the houses and millions come but never look at millions, yeah, yeah, I don't see it and I see oh, I'm gonna make $10 million this year or 20 million I just want to keep buying houses because I love that
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: to have as many houses as possible.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_00]: And then knowing that they're going to inherit them, I just love that part of my journey.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_04]: And so here's another like I want to so I want to catch I want to catch the gem that she gave because I think a lot of people, if again, if I hear you correctly, you're saying don't focus on the end result.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_04]: focus on the work that gets to end result because if you focus on the end result, then you'll lose focus on the work that it takes and you will never get to end result.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_04]: Correct.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_04]: And like Francis is like, I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm gonna on the health journey right now, right?
- 51:17[SPEAKER_04]: So I love loss I've lost over like 50 pounds.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, well, congratulations.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_04]: And during that journey for me,
- 51:26[SPEAKER_04]: It was the difference, right?
- 51:27[SPEAKER_04]: Like, at one point, I was like, man, cause I just used to play basketball.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_04]: And so I used to be like 200 some pounds.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, oh, how did I let myself go?
- 51:35[SPEAKER_04]: How did you get this big?
- 51:36[SPEAKER_04]: Did it now?
- 51:37[SPEAKER_04]: And so I kept focus on it.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna get back to 250.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna get back to 250.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna get back to 250.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm focusing on the 250, but I ain't doing the work.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm meditating.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_04]: I'm I'm I'm more of a tracksuit.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_04]: I'm manifesting 250, but I'm not but I'm still I'm still watching watching billions.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, I'm not doing the work.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_04]: And so instead of focusing on 250, I'm saying, all right, I'm being a gym every day.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to do a calorie deficit.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_04]: I'm walking every day for a hour.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_04]: And as I'm doing that thing over and over and over again, guess what?
- 52:13[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, man.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_04]: And without even look, I look, oh, man, I just dropped 30 pounds.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, man, I just dropped for a bit, right?
- 52:19[SPEAKER_04]: And so if I hear you correctly, you're like, all right, cool, cause of cool, you know what I'm saying?
- 52:24[SPEAKER_04]: All this stuff, like millions of dollars is cool, but I love houses.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_04]: And if I love houses, if I love the thing, and the thing is, get me the thing, then stop focusing on the Amazon focus on the work.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, focus on the work.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_00]: If you focus on the work and you work,
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: and work with integrity, trust me, money comes to me easy and sometimes it comes and I say I don't want it.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_00]: If I don't see, especially let me say an investor comment they are like, I want to buy this because they see what I'm doing and they're eager.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_00]: If I don't see the profit, if I don't see the making money, I don't want it.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_00]: because I want them to achieve first and then I can get paid.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_00]: So there's so many times that I see millions, even my brother, sometimes people who come and now they want to walk when my brother and my brother is like, no, I want to dedicate and do it well.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_00]: And if I'm going to just be part-time, I don't want to do it.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_00]: Just to get the money.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: So we work like that.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_00]: Always looking at the journey, always making sure we don't take what we don't deserve.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: comes and I love it.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_00]: Very fair us.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: Come like on a long list.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_04]: What is the goal?
- 53:41[SPEAKER_04]: Right?
- 53:42[SPEAKER_04]: For Nick and brothers.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_04]: What's the goal for, you know, you don't feel like when you, when you, when it's all said and done, right?
- 53:48[SPEAKER_04]: We never know, you know, when we go back home, right, when God is saying, yeah, what job well done, but when it's all said and done, you know, what do you all want your legacy to be?
- 53:58[SPEAKER_04]: What, you know, like, what's your legacy going to be?
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: So for me now, like each time I look at my life today, I'm like, God, I didn't even know I was going to be here.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_00]: So, and then for my children, they are God-fearing.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_00]: Every one of them have faith, they're humble, they're respectful, they're calm home.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I'm right there, like every day now I'm like God, what else do I want?
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: I've never wanted millions, millions came, and now I know that they're going to be comfortable because they also know how to manage.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_00]: So by them being good kids,
- 54:38[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of will say, I want more, I'm right there, now it's coming, I just, I'm just grateful.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_00]: They've been good kids every day, I'm like, I'm at the best part of my life.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_00]: So now I'm my own everybody talks to me, like, I'm like, God, my children are good, they're focused, they've got fear in the pre-everyday, they're good to people.
- 55:00[SPEAKER_00]: So because I know they are that way, I'm like, I've achieved everything that I've ever
- 55:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a child.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_04]: What's the, what's the, what's the legacy?
- 55:12[SPEAKER_03]: What's with, what, what, what are you all trying to hear that saying like my goal is like, what my mom said, I just want my all my family, my friends to just be happy be comfortable with their life.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_03]: Not working too hard, but still just enjoying life, enjoying everything.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_03]: So as long as I'm seeing my family happy, my brothers, my
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the way I really just think about it is like, I feel like God has just blessed me so much with for one like all these opportunities and not only that, but like Like I feel like he's gipped in me where it's so where I was always just like good at math.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was always a pretty I always just won't be
- 56:01[SPEAKER_01]: built the needs like great stuff.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: So now it's like I feel like I've let the perfect job and then I have the perfect co-worker Do my family.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I did just like lean on yeah, he loyal to so it's like now I feel like I've like hit the jackpot like so I just want to uh
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: be grateful enough to just try and take it as far as I can.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and not waste these gifts.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_01]: You know, yeah.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I just want to just work the hardest or just be the best me I can be.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_01]: And also just be able to to just be glad of myself.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_01]: Be proud of myself when it's all set and done.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: And just live and comfort for me and my family.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_01]: I love that, love that.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, goals, um, yeah, we thank God for everything he's bless us with.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_02]: Of course.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I just want to go on, definitely, um, generational wealth for my kids as well.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I want to encourage my kids to again, the business, just like, just like us and definitely help a lot of people around us, spread love to everyone around us.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_02]: Um,
- 57:12[SPEAKER_02]: and really just stay united as a family.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_03]: We want to inspire a lot of people too as well, like a lot of black people, even if you're not black, you know, to work hard and not even having to necessarily like,
- 57:28[SPEAKER_03]: go to university, maybe you could do other things, you know, that could still things that you like or things that your family, that you can still do and grow as well.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_04]: How do you, you know, how do you fend off?
- 57:47[SPEAKER_04]: I hate in jealousy and envy, right?
- 57:50[SPEAKER_04]: Because I think especially like Caleb said, like as you continue to be in a spotlight, whether it's intentional or unintentional, right?
- 57:59[SPEAKER_04]: Because what happens is that, you know, I said this to you, going to your conference was so inspiring for me, you know, definitely what I saw inspired me, but what inspired me even more was happening.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_04]: was what other people were saying about you and the family.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_04]: And so sometimes unintentionally, there's other people who are singing your praises and who are uplifting your voice and theirs, evil spirits who don't have that.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_04]: There's evil spirits that it ever takes.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_00]: How do you deal with that?
- 58:36[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I've watched people now being successful and people that are going through that journey that Like you said though, with some people that will just have the hate and I've seen people also that it has come to me That they say oh, definitely it's not doing that.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_00]: She's not a developer or she's lying.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this so with that first.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_00]: I know who I am Right, so I know who I am and then I know I'm really doing it so
- 59:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I just learned the word copying like, oh, yeah, yeah, I've been, I've been repeating that word like crazy Because I'm like, what is copying?
- 59:13[SPEAKER_00]: I had to go check and then they told me the meaning of copying So now, you know, I live an intentional life.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't copy
- 59:23[SPEAKER_00]: I said this.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like no cap in here.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_00]: No cap.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need that so because I know who I am and I know I don't cap.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I know what I do.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_00]: And I know is there.
- 59:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about what anybody is going to say.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_00]: It feels easy to say, you don't care because we are human.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_00]: But I know I have my children.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_00]: I know that people that really love me.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_00]: And those are the people that take my time.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I go to my sister's house, my mom.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_00]: And then I have very few close friends that I know they love me.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_00]: And they see me.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_00]: And so we hold onto each other.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then my kids, we have strong family.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_00]: you know, broader systems, causes, we have very strong.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_00]: So with that, I know I'm good here.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_04]: And that doesn't bother you at all, like, um, like, if, especially if you're trying to help somebody, and they want to, you know, try to use your, oh, yeah, you know, or if they, you know, you help them, and then you find out that they're talking about, like, you know, say, the third of that.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I built the house for somebody and before so I'm changing my rules and regulations and my contracts now Yeah, so I I built and I'm like don't pay me you pay me at the end and at the end of the day She's like you told me we're gonna finish this house in in six to seven months nice ten months So I'm not going to pay so because of that though There's a contract
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I looked at it, I'm like, instead of me going to fight you with a lawyer, I'm not going to do that.
- 1:01:01[SPEAKER_00]: I was upset for a few minutes because, but then I'm like, you know what, with the mentality that you have, you never going to get anyway.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I prayed about it and then I called my lawyers to tighten my contract now, but then you always because I'm human, you feel that way sometimes you get somebody that no matter what you do, they are not satisfied.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_00]: I'm very intentional at the same time.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I'm gonna do the best I can.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_00]: That way I sleep well.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: So sometimes it falls on me financially, but I'll be keep going because like there's a part in when you do good work.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_00]: They refer us always.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_00]: Confisher.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_00]: So when you know that you've done the right thing, yeah.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_00]: It oversees, it overcomes anything negative, when you know, so I'm very intentional on my daily life, very intentional, with friendship, with whatever, and then when I see it, it's not working, I say, okay, I'm going to move, it's not working, and I just leave, but I pray about it, and then I'm peaceful with it, and then I move, yeah, even if I'm wrong, if I'm right or I'm wrong, sometimes I know I'm right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_00]: But then I see somebody forcing, I still say, I'm sorry and then I move.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_04]: Well, as young men have y'all encountered like hate, jealousy, envy, and even like that.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_04]: And if so, how have you to have your daughter?
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean a little bit but I feel like I don't really be losing sleep over because I know we really be doing stuff.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm not like I sound.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really experienced that much.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, maybe a little bit of jealousy.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I just tend to ignore it, but I know other york is a little bit because he's so young.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's like such a young GC that if some people don't believe him.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, man.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't be believing me sometime.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_03]: But it don't matter because I'm really doing it.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_03]: Right, for sure.
- 1:03:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's true.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm losing sleep.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_00]: and he walks so hard like Yannick has been you know through it with me all like through the Jenny like really tough and the other boys were younger so he's benched.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_00]: like really close to me with mommy okay I got it I'll do it I got it I'll do it you know when we sit down I say you can do it it's like for real and then I see this boy read like I feel like crying I see him he started and he'll stand up when he was going through that gc his reading for eight hours I turned the light on at two a.m. he started he put the light on his walking no close on walking and just reading and reading and
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_00]: And then sometimes you have one or two friends we talk about it.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, okay, mom, I'm gonna let this go.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, he's like, I try to help because I also want he has his friends that I'm like, we need to help them.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_00]: They were in high school together and all that.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_00]: So, but he did this guy, he works, he works, he works hard every day, he go wrong and then work, he loves to exercise.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'll see, 99, GM and night he's running.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but he went whatever he wants, he gets it because he works hard for all of them.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_00]: They love it.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_00]: the last bit yeah he wants that right yeah he's always running unlike can you stop you know he runs at 10 a.m. he's on the strumming 10 p.m. it's like I got to run full run but running is good like therapy though like a really just you know he just feels good yeah I just by working out for sure
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_04]: Um, you have a mentorship talk a little bit about your mentorship and somebody wanted to, like, be party in mentorship.
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_00]: So I decided that I was going to, you know, like, with me being successful, there's so many people, especially people like us.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_00]: that we never are in this space of development or building houses.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_00]: And once I started building, I realized I can do more, I can do more.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_00]: But there are so many smart people out there that just like that real genuine people that can mentor them.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_00]: and say, I got you.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_00]: This is the path to wealth.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_00]: If you do this step by step, you're going to get it.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_00]: So I used to be like one on one mentor and I'm like, okay, I need to start spreading my wings to have a class and we'll do a eight week class that I'll be able to take people on this journey.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_00]: We start from the beginning of forming your business, showing you how to have a team in
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_00]: Getting into land show you how to divide land.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what I do.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_00]: I teach twice a year Hopefully, I'm gonna get another class more to put next year, but this year is gonna be one more coming up in September That we're gonna teach
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_00]: Step by step on how to buy properties, how to buy land, how to divide land, how to do new construction, how to get loans, not just taking a loan, but knowing your numbers, when to get the loan, when not to get the loans, so I teach all that in eight weeks and then have them come to a line up for a few days, so they can tell my properties and is usually a beautiful day.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_04]: Nice.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_04]: Now I love it.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_04]: What's the what's the web?
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_04]: We'll put in the description but what's the website?
- 1:06:54[SPEAKER_04]: So I want to join you.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_00]: So it's Nick and brothers.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, dot com or we usually put the links on all social media platforms.
- 1:07:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then they can register and then we just get it rolling.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now I love it.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_04]: I enjoyed this.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_04]: I appreciate you all.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_04]: Like I really enjoyed.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_04]: Um, kind of getting to know you are more, but then also sharing your story, uh, is there anything in this, in this episode, uh, a question I didn't ask or some type of like message you want to leave leave with our our viewers.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_00]: For me, I just want to say thank you for giving us this platform, you know, um, when I started following you, I started reading about you, I really,
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_00]: enjoy your mind.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_00]: I started listening to you more.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like now, when I see whatever you put, I want to listen to everything because I love knowledge.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_00]: So just you even invited me and the kids, you know, of giving us this platform that we can share our story.
- 1:07:54[SPEAKER_00]: I hope it's also going to inspire others that they can look at this journey and say, I can also do this.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_00]: or even if I can't do this, I can tell my family, I can learn, I can stay positive because you never know anybody's journey.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_00]: So by you giving us this platform that we are able to come here and share our journey share our story.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_00]: I want to say thank you, thank you so much.
- 1:08:19[SPEAKER_00]: And thank you for being who you are.
- 1:08:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because now, I'm learning to know you.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm learning to be like, oh my God, this is a great person.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_00]: I want to come closer to.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we are.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_00]: So thank you.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you know, we grateful.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I have great foot as you guys just having us here Appreciate my mom too for what she does for that fight.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_03]: There's not a lot of people like her So you're really Jane with person for good.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_03]: Same with my brothers.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Jane with guys Yeah, I'm just happy.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, any any any Any words of wisdom y'all want to leave
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_04]: You're going somewhere with you to see it?
- 1:08:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go first.
- 1:08:55[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, thank you for how long time this platform.
- 1:08:57[SPEAKER_02]: And thank you for acknowledging my mom for all she does.
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_02]: My last message, I want to say a Bible verse, the Bible and Matthew will say, seek first to kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_02]: So my mom, see God first.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_02]: She had faith in God first and now look her life.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_02]: You know, she's blessed and God is blessed us.
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_02]: Mm, yeah, of that.
- 1:09:17[SPEAKER_04]: Not some things, but all this.
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of want to say something similar to like, I feel like most of the time you're only going to go as far as what your purpose is.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a version of Colossians that says work willingly as though you're working for the Lord rather than the people.
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I feel like sometimes like,
- 1:09:43[SPEAKER_01]: When when you when you're trying to work hard and you're looking too much and maybe like money or maybe just people to impress and stuff like that, it can only take you so far.
- 1:09:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I just feel like, um, but when you really work on yourself on your mindset, yeah, to read the wreck, it to to where you're working for God or you're and where you're also just trying to love God and love yourself and love others around you, then it's like.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_01]: and almost every situation like your drive is going to be consistent and your joy is going to be consistent because it's not built on like things that may come and go away like yeah yeah I love it I love it
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_04]: Nick, Nick, talk to us, man.
- 1:10:27[SPEAKER_04]: Any work, I know you used to stop, but I want some words of wisdom for the young wise one.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_03]: Just continue chasing your dreams.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, seeing great doing what you love, sticking with your family, sticking with God.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_03]: And just continuing to live the best life you can.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_03]: That's all that we can do in this world.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so that's all I got.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_03]: I love it.
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, love me, believe in yourself.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_00]: How fit in God, believe in yourself, and everything is going to work out.
- 1:10:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, ma'am.
