Don’t miss the FY27 Business Development Grants—applications are live and due Friday, September 11th at midnight! Ten $5K grants total $50K, offered by United Way of Greater Charlottesville and the Minority Business Alliance, for small, for-profit businesses that’ve been around at least a year and have at least one socially disadvantaged owner. Not for established expansion-stage companies—those should wait for Envision Enterprise Grants. Past recipients (FY26 or any United Way grant) are ineligible this round, but can reapply in FY28.
