- 0:21with Wayne Candy. You may pill Vegan gig show. Freak me till that
- 0:29comes to a five comes and it comes to mon is it just I'm a
- 0:38doing Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you made Bill Vegan. Welcome,
- 0:43Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I'm the
- 0:48Sportshock Wing Candy, Good morning to you on this twenty third day of October,
- 0:54on the year twenty twenty three. I'm quite sure that will be reversed
- 1:00or calculated and later today somebody will text me with some kind of algorithm.
- 1:04How ten twenty three, twenty three is some kind of something, you know,
- 1:10National Leaf Day. It'd be something you should go play at the lottery.
- 1:15Straight vibe, because you know, people have a lot of times on
- 1:18their on their hand because they get their food delivered. You know, That's
- 1:23why like a lot of people have food time on man because they have to
- 1:26get their food. They get their food delivered. So all those minutes that
- 1:29they would have used cooking. They have free just to come up with some
- 1:34stuff to irritate the sports shop. That's it's just really all that used to
- 1:37deliver only certain food. Now I'm just saying it's it's hard to cook things
- 1:41from strapped time. Got you gotta the in door dash coming and just bring
- 1:48it to you? And what you do with that hour and a half complain
- 1:52you just got? Yeah, but good morning to you. My crew is
- 1:59here. I think they're energetic, a big kenny. I see it went
- 2:04with a little shave this weekend. I guess he his wife finally let him
- 2:08know that old man looked. She prefers to bear. I do it too,
- 2:15rebel, rebel against her okay command she Greg is in the studio and
- 2:20the bad producer who's still for a man who literally sat on the mic and
- 2:27said that he has no faith in the falcon. But we'll still put on
- 2:35the stuff now either he just don't have nothing else to wear head, but
- 2:38he will put on. He has no faith in them three games. We
- 2:46were like, we have three here like now, I don't think only faithful
- 2:51falcons, no, sir, And we're not even gonna go down that road
- 2:55with you, because I've been listening a lot of the people that hear our
- 2:59show, and they listen to you when you speak, are always advocates of
- 3:04why do you let him speak? Yeah, they be mad at you because
- 3:07the people that come to me you never he never moves forward, and he
- 3:10never stands by what he actually say, acts like he didn't say that politics.
- 3:15At least three times this week people speaking to people, they love him
- 3:21on the show, they want him on the show. They just don't grasp
- 3:23how he can say something in one moment, never stand by it, and
- 3:29by the end of the show be back on the other side. And sports
- 3:34everybody, why does a sports jock, mad producer do that? And I'm
- 3:39like, he don't make it. He's not letting him do it. He's
- 3:43just being himself. And they're like, well, he ought to say something.
- 3:46So the bad producer and the Falcons playing tough yesterday down in Tampa getting
- 3:51a victory to lead a the NFC South right now after seven games, so
- 3:58we will see how that trickles with ten weeks to go. But football hot
- 4:02and heavy kind of you know that time of the year where people are starting
- 4:08to settle in to that wherever their team is going, it might not take
- 4:12them to the playoffs. You're starting to really see what your team has.
- 4:16But tonight, Monday Night Football has a little competition tonight because of Major League
- 4:23Baseball Game seven forced last night by the Texas Rangers on to Houston. So
- 4:30that game is the night at eight o'clock of Game seven. Game six for
- 4:34Arizona Phillies is tonight as well, and Monday Night Football the forty nine ers
- 4:42with a chance of Christian McCaffrey getting out on the field, no Deebo Samuel
- 4:47and as I said a couple of weeks ago, there's four or five teams
- 4:50that their biggest enemy's health. Their biggest enemy is not whether they can win.
- 4:58There's four or five teams right there where you would say, okay,
- 5:01these are the guys that's going to play in the super Bowl. But then
- 5:04it becomes can we stay healthy enough to win the games? As we'll talk
- 5:10about even last night game against the Dolphins against the Eagles, the Dolphins are
- 5:15without their left tackle Armstead, who's on the ir without the a chain,
- 5:21the speedy running back that really opens their offense. They're still haven't gotten Jalen
- 5:27Ramsey back. And I'm not saying that the Eagles don't have people banged up
- 5:31as either, but I'm saying when a lot of these teams play, it's
- 5:35just about health. Are the health we saw with the forty nine ers.
- 5:40Not saying that Cleveland, as we have seen Cleveland has a good defense,
- 5:44not saying that they couldn't have beat them with everybody out there. But when
- 5:47you have injuries, people leaving early questions. So some teams all they're doing
- 5:54is fighting whether they can stay healthy long enough to get to where they are
- 6:00are going. I went out to Conyers, Georgia, called a high school
- 6:04football game on Friday, held out an area called Newton, Newton taking on
- 6:14park View Panthers, both seven A. For you people who might know a
- 6:18scout, there's a running back out at Newton. He's a junior. His
- 6:24name is Zion Johnson. He has that Tyreek Hill thing going on. So
- 6:30if you're looking for a running back and he's a four star, hasn't declared,
- 6:35maybe not have an nil deal, but I do know watching him play,
- 6:41if you miss me, we're gonna go to the track meet. That's
- 6:45how fast he is. Barne, so make the tackle. Commands you,
- 6:48greg Or, we're just gonna all start running one hundred meter dash and somebody
- 6:54could use that. I'm sure it seems like a weapon somebody. I'm sure
- 6:58somebody would be like we used one, somebody like a Southern Miss. Because
- 7:01I watched y'all last week. Hey, hey, how the mighty wait now,
- 7:04how the mighty have full? How the mighty y'all y'all got beat by
- 7:09like South Alabama? I thought they had went out of business. Now we
- 7:12were, we were all. Everybody was having a good time. We were
- 7:15we were sitting around, the music was playing, We was laughing everybody,
- 7:18and then all of a sudden, you grab Southern missing the column. What
- 7:21happened? It just hit me what happened? Hit them? Were? Everybody
- 7:26was fine, all of a sudden, there's a dust up in the corner.
- 7:29We looked up as for as Jacks jerking Southern Miss around like a rag
- 7:33doll. We would We just came to hang out because I remember the mighty
- 7:38yeah Southern Miss when I played yeah, because we that was the state the
- 7:42year we were the Alabama state champions. We beat Auburn and Alabama. Brett
- 7:46Varr, Michael Jackson and those got Bobby Hamilton. I remember that Southern Miss,
- 7:51and then I turned on a Tuesday night in South Alabama against It was
- 7:57a Tuesday night. It was a tuesdays which made me say it didn't happen
- 8:03because no football happens on Tuesday night, which was already the old Like,
- 8:07it's on a Tuesday night and they're at South Alabama, this ain't gonna go
- 8:11well. And Alabama really man handled embarrassingly. Sit down, be quiet,
- 8:20and take a juice box. It is something to witness. So but I'm
- 8:24sorry if it's too early to do the recruiters listening from Southern Miss. My
- 8:31question was for you guys because I didn't want to google it. I like
- 8:37to talk about things that I don't know more than like the Google. If
- 8:39I'm by myself or if I don't have company coming around, I'll google it
- 8:43to see. Right, But at the high school game that was out in
- 8:48Newton, and you know, if you're anywhere, I don't care what state,
- 8:52if you leave the city, major city you've be in California, you
- 8:56go further enough east, I mean east north. You're running to a town
- 9:01that has a fair yes in it. Yes, we were broadcasting I pointed
- 9:11out across the way that the fair was in town. My producer when we
- 9:15came back from break, he said, we can come back showing the carnival,
- 9:18and it left him marking my head as a question, what's the difference
- 9:26between a fair and a carnival? Does anybody know? Or are they the
- 9:31same thing? What would be the difference between a fair and a carnival?
- 9:37The Mason Dixon line? You think that is? That is? That?
- 9:41Is it? Because so in the North we go every year to the annual
- 9:48carnival that's in town. But when I come south every year we go to
- 9:54the fair. Well, the producer originally is from California, so we would
- 10:00have to factor that in. So so, but the World's Fair was started
- 10:03in Chicago, Greg you can google it if you and give us the correct
- 10:09answer. But I'm saying I like that. That's what I understand how I
- 10:13fight fight dementia and and all that stuff. I try to rationalize stuff.
- 10:18Deductive reasoning really helps the brain continue to function at a highlight, Like they
- 10:24tell you to do crossword puzzles and all that stuff. So that's why I
- 10:26haven't taken the time in three days to even look I was gonna. I
- 10:30was like, let me take that to the crew, and what's the difference
- 10:31between affair Because I said, oh, the fairs in town, and then
- 10:37the producer after they finally sent somebody over there, because you could see it
- 10:41from the press box, I said carnival. And it just stayed with me
- 10:46to ask what's the difference between a fair and a carnival. It could Kenny
- 10:50is hold on, big, Kenny is going with region. What would you
- 10:54think? I would say, affair. I would think more of like exhibits
- 11:01and a lot of other things. Carnivals more entertainment. Okay, that could
- 11:05be. I get what you're saying. One one would have more rides or
- 11:11something, and the other one would just be more has rides, but another
- 11:16attraction. Like you said, you know, page hogs right off the cuff.
- 11:20I know you've read it already, But what would you think originally would
- 11:22be the difference? I haven't gotten. I saw I found an article that
- 11:26says what's the difference, But oh, don't they don't know either? Well,
- 11:30I haven't seen it yet. I have seen I just saw the the
- 11:33well the headline. Well, yeah, they'll let me know, but I
- 11:39think it's I see the carnival as something that travels place to place, and
- 11:43affair is normally in just in the same locas in one place. Like every
- 11:48year we'll go to break, we'll come back quickly hit on that. We
- 11:52didn't mean to stay on that that long, but it was something that intrigued
- 11:54me. Hey, look up deductive reason and two what that means? We'll
- 11:58be back? Poor a sports show after this, they buy me a quad
- 12:03cud. It is hard because she spent the five. I've becost me a
- 12:05dumb I've got bbs, I got pushed. I'm going to wrap beef.

- 13:31at fifteen years old. Her life was full of uncertainty. She thought she'd
- 13:37never have a permanent place to call home. Before I was adopted, I
- 13:43felt like I wasn't enough. I had this hole in my heart and I
- 13:46never knew what I needed to patch that hole. But when my mom asked
- 13:50to adopt me, that hole was closed. It feels so normal now to
- 13:54say that I'm a part of this family. I am surrounded by love,
- 13:58I feel safe, and that whole inside of me is gone. I am
- 14:03whole. I'm finally enough, just as I am. The Dave Thomas Foundation

- 14:33one day my granddaughter called and I realized I still had a lot to look
- 14:37forward to. I got referred to a psychiatrist who explained depression can happen to
- 14:41anyone. Getting help doesn't make me weak, it makes me stronger. I
- 14:46just wish it'd made me better at fishing. Mental health care is working for

- 15:43Wayne Candy. Good morning to you. Glad to be here with you.
- 15:46The BAP producer Big Kenny Comanche, Greg All in the studio this morning.
- 15:50As I said, good sports on tonight the forty nine ers uh with some
- 15:56injuries, which I'm playing on the role with injuries taking on the Minnesota Vikings
- 16:02Texas in Houston, Game seven of that ALCS. So basically winner go on,
- 16:11loser go home in Arizona, and both of those games, these baseball
- 16:15games start at the same time, so you're gonna have to either do a
- 16:18split stream or watch one on your mobile device and one on your TV or
- 16:23something, or flip back and forth. But both games getting ready trying to
- 16:29set up of the World Series. Just a little question we started to show
- 16:33off with. I'm quite sure half of you instantly googled and doing that three
- 16:40minute break. The other half went on and googled it too, But it
- 16:42was a question that I posed just because of a high school game, which
- 16:48was a good game the other night here in Georgia. As I continue to
- 16:51say, being a Florida guy, Georgia years ago, people saw them maybe
- 16:57in the ten, twelve, thirteen amongst the states. As far as high
- 17:04school talent. Yes, now you get in conversation and Georgia is easily in
- 17:08the top five, if not the top three. As far as production of
- 17:12players, these are a lot of your Sunday players. I've only been doing
- 17:18the high school games here full time, maybe about six years, and there's
- 17:26eight ten guys I see in the pros. That's just six seven years ago.
- 17:32I was sitting there in high school. And like the fair and the
- 17:36carnival. Above the Mason Dixon line, Georgia might be in the top five,
- 17:41but down here we top three everything past the Mason Dixon. If you
- 17:45don't list Georgia as football talent, you are tripping. So we asked the
- 17:52question, what's the difference between a fair and a carnival? Big Kenny,
- 17:57using the Mason Dixon nine reference. Maybe it's a regional thing. A bad
- 18:03producer was more on one might offer a different kind of entertam in as far
- 18:07as one more rides versus shows, and with commandchie greg without googling it,
- 18:15he thought it might be more on a stationary versus travel. Does it have
- 18:22an answer of what could be the particular that makes them different? I think,
- 18:26well, the one I found here. More of the difference is the
- 18:30fair was more of a competition for in judging food, having food contests,
- 18:41livestock contests, and competing to grow the biggest and best crops. Okay,
- 18:52so in that explanation, the carnival was in town in Newton because none of
- 19:00that was going on. That was what that would have been the carnival exactly
- 19:04the same thing Georgia State Stadium right now on the opposite side of the highway
- 19:11downtown. I guess that would constitute a carnival. Yes, that's in town
- 19:17down here in Atlanta, come down there. By that explanation, because it's
- 19:22one of them are out there talking about we got the best apple pie,
- 19:25right right. They're all rides and funnel cake and treat small six flags,
- 19:30small Disney World sets, not more of If you're a fair, I guess
- 19:34you are. This is at the best chili. Yeah, the largest like
- 19:41the county fair or the state fairs. A lot going on right now.
- 19:44That's like those things are having those things. And there we go. Now
- 19:48now we can walk away with a little more knowledge that we did not google.
- 19:51That we did not google is now I'm saying it, but I gave
- 19:59the answer. I feel smarter, which is tough in a room with you,
- 20:02so okay, but I mean and you can literally now say oh the
- 20:06look over and say the carnival right and fair in town and actually be able
- 20:11to say explain and when someone says no, that's what you're gonna know.
- 20:15The difference he is well looking for an explanation is the hall of famer,
- 20:18the often misunderstood, the often exactly what he did. Michael Irvin is questioning
- 20:30his own son. And that's why you like Michael Irvin. He seems like
- 20:36he's always been a guy that anyone in the room can get it, because
- 20:44you know, Mike Irvin is like one of like seventeen kids or something,
- 20:48so he's used to have he's used to fighting for his elbow room. I
- 20:52don't even know what you do, dude, Just eat in the whole house
- 20:56when it's seventeen kids. You just you don't really have a table. Now.
- 21:00Just when it's seventeen kids, you hope to eat Like I just,
- 21:03I hope there's something to eat for me what I'm saying, because that means
- 21:07you got to have seventeen plates and seventeen spaces at the table, the table
- 21:11and seventeen poor I'm Thanksgiving every week. I might be exaggerating, but it
- 21:17is a high amount of kids. Michael had Irving grew up his family and
- 21:23as far as I know, it was in the same home. Right,
- 21:26it's some huge like my friend, great friend Isaac Bruce is like one of
- 21:30fifteen or some you know, that's the name of the high school. It
- 21:36doesn't happen in there yet. That's why IV be so fresh when you see
- 21:40the fifteenth out of seventeen. Yeah, I tell you woo. So everybody
- 21:44can get it now you kind of understand why he seemed to be on high
- 21:48alert all the time. Actually he seemed a little calm. He made out
- 21:52of seventeen you seem a little bit well adjusted because he might because you wake
- 21:56off now you wake up, rollover. You got to add sixteen other people
- 22:00with my shoes at man what's wrong? Who got on my shoes? Ain't
- 22:03nothing. I got my I got my arm on Ta ta Who got on
- 22:07my shoe? He got your shoes, But I got my phone book taped
- 22:11to my ship. I'm ready for whatever jump off. You'd be like,
- 22:15hold on, Mike, this ship. That's mom's in the kitchen. Yeah,
- 22:18I got my shake. That's a lot of people. It's a lot
- 22:22of people because that's seventeen kids. I don't know what both parents who were
- 22:25in home. That don't matter. If both was there, that's nineteen people.
- 22:30You. I don't have twenty plates in my house. That sounds like
- 22:36a holiday. If twenty people comes, we gotta go to paper given every
- 22:40week. Every time I can get you up to like fourteen people with a
- 22:45solid plate. After that we gotta go to paper play. And who got
- 22:48twenty plates? I did it for a week and never again. We'll be
- 22:52back talking about Mike Irvan giving it to his own son with more than sports
- 22:56shock show. Right after this, give me attitude, I just might go
- 22:59today it's twenty twenty wives. I'm planning on need the way I've been planning
- 23:03to my house and got to put my chees away. Take a bed to

- 24:18talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage
- 24:22represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 24:27life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just
- 24:30getting started with our family and thought we lived forever life insurance. What's the
- 24:33last thing on my mind? What about you? Will you be leaving benefits
- 24:37or bills? When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills
- 24:41piling up, I was worried how my family will survive without me. That's
- 24:44what I'm in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power,
- 24:47and life insurance gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 24:51Now that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I'll leave my family
- 24:53with bills or benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or
- 24:57fifty, whether you earn a little or a li all you need is the
- 25:00insurance informant to help you build a foundation of security. Because without you,
- 25:04your family will have two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you
- 25:10leave behind log on today benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits orbills dot

- 25:36road as a passenger, you have the power to prevent an accident. There

- 26:18I'm just for Shuck Wayne Candy. I'm back with and them on this morning
- 26:22show. Not pick Kenny, the Comanchie Grigg, the Averagers in the building.
- 26:26We're gonna get to the NFL. Actually, we're gonna get to some
- 26:29college football as well. I got down to the planes Old miss and Auburn
- 26:33this weekend with Lane Kiffin. If everybody asks me, you know why we're
- 26:37so many people down there? A lot of storylines. Sometimes you might not
- 26:42know the storylines. But Old missus old coach is Auburn's new coach. And
- 26:48at that same time, Auburn had tried to hire Lane Kiffin, so it
- 26:55was some crossover where which made the game a little bigger than the team's team's
- 27:02star power. It's not like it was some stars in the game that you
- 27:06had to see, but it was some overlapping storylines that made the game intriguing.
- 27:11Ole Miss one twenty eight twenty one got seem my good friend to Tom
- 27:15Ray's who played in the league about six seven years just finished defeating cancer back
- 27:22on his beat, standing on the sideline. Uh, and it's so funny.
- 27:26I have to admit I was looking for a skinny you know when people
- 27:33know when people say cancer, slim down, and it was yeah, bro,
- 27:47taking in that pass me that catch up. But we left off talking
- 27:51about Michael Irving and basically Michael Irvin's son, who's I want to say,
- 27:57seventeen eighteen years old, is a trying, you know, up and coming
- 28:03rapper. But Mike Irvin was using him as an example with some comments that
- 28:11Jahn Morant had taken from Dion Sanders. Dion Sanders I had put out some
- 28:17inspirational as we talked motivational comments last week, and John Morant on social media,
- 28:26I guess you give it the thumbs up or the like signaling Mike Irvin
- 28:30and they were discussing that that's how the story came up, and Michael Irvin
- 28:36was agreeing that he hoped Jahn Morant embraced what he was giving a thumbs up
- 28:44to right from what he heard from Dion Sanders, and in this case,
- 28:49he got him around to his son where he was saying, his son raps
- 28:57basically about Michael's life. Right, But his son grew up, as Mike
- 29:03said, you grew up in a gated community, your whole life. But
- 29:10you wrap thug life persona and everybody, well, why would you put your
- 29:19son out there? I just told you he was one of seventeen kids.
- 29:23You can't be fake. Ain't nobody you can't be fake kids. I'm the
- 29:30only one went to the NFL. Everybody else still getting it how they live
- 29:37and basically I guess over the years from listening to other siblings or being around
- 29:41Michael's his aunt, Michael's brothers and sisters, which would be his son's aunts
- 29:45and uncles, he wraps a life. And we as a group of men
- 29:52who love the hip hop world, this used to be truly some thing that
- 30:00got you excommunicated, Yes, from even being in you could rap and be
- 30:07and do, but you had to have lived that life. And some people
- 30:11we literally give. It's not so much that you given a path pass or
- 30:15you have to be a certain way, you just have You can't be a
- 30:21fake way, right, you can't. You can't if you ain't a thug.
- 30:26I'm just saying you can't be a fake thug. Kanye West, a
- 30:30Drake, these guys who are huge on the stage, they never tried to
- 30:33sell you that they were DMX no. And you have to win the way
- 30:41you have kind of lived more now in the modern day times, you know,
- 30:45we I'd have to re examine that that because I don't know the background
- 30:49of a lot of people that I might hear, but it does seem to
- 30:55be a little more space of I can create a persona that is not necessarily
- 31:03my life. And when doing that what it used to be, we'll have
- 31:08to do what you did, you know what it was done. Michael Son
- 31:11his name, tut Terrano his name, but it air's a lot of that
- 31:17has that his real name or rap name, tut Terano Tarantino excuse Metino,
- 31:23but I checked out some of his music. Uh, he's a pretty good
- 31:26a little rapper. But as you say, Michael Irvy did call him out
- 31:32and that goes along with a lot of you see a lot of the rappers
- 31:34who kids came up. Like you look at ice Cube son. He's going
- 31:38straight and acting. He's not trying to be relived in w A. He
- 31:41didn't want to do that. He's like, I'm gonna act. But he
- 31:45never rapped, did he. He tried a little bit. I mean,
- 31:48you know, they all give it a shot and then you got you look
- 31:51at your son and then uh bootsy son. They were doing some things got
- 31:55in the little trouble. They trying to attempt everybody trying to relive maybe what
- 31:59they're father or something even on that level as far as rapid where we know,
- 32:05Michael Irvin, we don't know what his brothers, like you said,
- 32:07we don't know where he grew up. He might you know, like we're
- 32:10trying to let what his uncle's older uncle or uncles seeing what he may have
- 32:15seen and trying to persue that in his wraps. So well, Michael,
- 32:19kudos for as we all you know say, keeping it real. He used
- 32:24his own family members, which is his son. Now, I don't have
- 32:29any information of how his son took the word. But this doesn't surprise me
- 32:35of a Michael Irvin. Well, and then too, he has not been
- 32:38waiting on a storyline. He could get this off his chest, I'm sure
- 32:43because in addition, in addition to keeping it real, you'd have to think
- 32:46that Michael Irvin is saying this, in saying these remarks as a result of
- 32:52having seen something that John Morant did. Now we've all said that John Rant
- 32:58is seems to be on a highway straight for destruction, fueled by his desire
- 33:06to want to be a thug when he's absolutely not in that life. So
- 33:13maybe Michael Irvin is not only cautioning John Morant but his own son, don't
- 33:16get yourself in trouble that you don't have to invite into your life. Well,
- 33:21we've seen that in the music industry a lot. They're rappers that we
- 33:24know that have passed on and then later on you find out after they do
- 33:29the thirty for thirty they originally were just hey, I was in this,
- 33:32and once they linked up with a certain certain record label or a certain they
- 33:37had to put on the pasana and they you know, and it just the
- 33:42image mixed in with Entertainment Week seven, NFL yesterday the New England Patriots twenty
- 33:49nine, the Buffalo Bills twenty five. A lot of people when I hear
- 33:52it on television, calling it a shocker, and I'm like, I don't
- 33:58ever see the Patriots eating a division foe as a shocker. They almost want
- 34:07enough where they almost start just calling it the Patriots division. Just drop the
- 34:14whole AFC North part or whatever it just started calling it. That's how much
- 34:19how many times they won this division? Uh? And when you're playing inner
- 34:23division, I try to make sure you have some education records. When you're
- 34:28playing division folds, even you gamblers, be a little tighter on the point
- 34:31spreads. You're gonna get a better game regardless of the record on the In
- 34:39the majority, when you have two teams that play, there's there's a little
- 34:45different to the mindset of each and every player because the first way to the
- 34:51playoffs is winning your division. That's why when the bad producer sits here and
- 35:00it's his Falcons and I'm like, well, you're I'm not looking for seventeen
- 35:04and oh, I'm looking for the Falcons to win up games and winning division.
- 35:07If they win a division, that can be with eight wins, nine
- 35:10wins, ten wins, they get a home playoff game. That's how it's
- 35:15set up. It don't matter that everybody won sixteen games. If you win
- 35:20your division. The Patriots, it was an easy speech. Belichick went in
- 35:25there. He didn't talk much last week. He told him, look,
- 35:30we all gonna get fired if y'all keep playing this way. Special Team meeting
- 35:38starts in ten minutes. Yeah, that's true. That's all I that's enough
- 35:45for me coaching. Yeah, this can't bet Kenny four months behind on his
- 35:50child support before he just bought a car that he need, and the bad
- 35:55producer was already on the bubble of being released. Seemed like the message work
- 36:00a man. Come on, now, I've been in a meeting with a
- 36:04team doing bad, and basically that's what the coach walk up then. Is
- 36:07not cursing, he's not mad. He didn't come in there with coffee stains
- 36:13on his shirt. It made it easy. He come put his cup mug
- 36:17on the little podium. Hey, we ain't gonna be in along, but
- 36:22if y'all keep this up, half of us won't be here next week.
- 36:25Next week, have a good day, Especial Team means starting ten minutes.
- 36:30That's just how and leave everybody just looking at each other like should I say
- 36:34goodbye now you and I don't want to make eye contact. You boys to
- 36:40men end of the road, definitely, And that's how the Patriots. You
- 36:45saw different energy. You could even see when the play would breakdown and Mac
- 36:51Jones scramble. You saw a little more thrust in his hips to get a
- 36:55first down. It's just every man, everybody onward twenty nine, twenty five
- 37:01and the Bills. As I explained last week, they fought fell into a
- 37:07classic and we'll go to break come back on the other side to talk more
- 37:10NFL. They fell into that classic. Didn't have to take this. Sorry
- 37:15Patriot team, serious man, I'll be there like they were sleepwalking. I'm
- 37:19not gonna get there till Sunday morning. Yeah. They didn't look like they
- 37:22had paid any real attention, like they were just gonna show up and win.
- 37:25But the Patriots twenty nine Bills twenty five will be back right after this.

- 40:27back to the sports, John Wayne Candy. Between between logs, are you
- 40:51can see a sports Jarney? Oh shit, even very journy, welcome back
- 40:58to this boy, shock shue miss he was Chuck Wayne Gandy. Morning to
- 41:01you, the Giants, Welcome the commanders. Yesterday fourteen to seven. The
- 41:07Giants able to get this victory. A lot of injuries in their old line.
- 41:13I wish I could use that as an excuse, but the original old
- 41:15line wasn't blocking nobody. Hey, hey, come on, come on,
- 41:20no, I mean it's not like I can see a difference. And these
- 41:22people, they was just they said they was out three starters on the old
- 41:25line. I was like, well, they ain't the same y'all were doing
- 41:28the same thing I'm saying, but they mined in their business. They send
- 41:30it home drinking coffee, listening to the show. And now they also wait
- 41:34a minute, how did we even get in this? They scored two touchdowns
- 41:37yesterday. Huh. Daniel Jones had two touchdown passes for the season, Tyron
- 41:43had two touchdowns yesterday. They score points, but the old line was doing
- 41:49the same thing they was doing. Tyrod Taylor just making better decisions because he
- 41:52spent most of his career having to throw on the run. Getting two touchdowns
- 41:59fourteen s even over the Commanders. Uh, in this, what's what you
- 42:04got for me? Sir? I was just thinking the hope he's gonna mention
- 42:07the young man. A's of the Commander's game at the said he was fed
- 42:12up. Johnson Allen talked about how he was fed up the big d tackle.
- 42:15Yes, sir, after seven years, he said, it's like,
- 42:19is that a coach is he saying? I mean with Ron Rivere, he's
- 42:22been there since Vera's been there. And after coming off a win last week,
- 42:25and and everybody's you know, you're in the divisional game, as you
- 42:29said, something to come out like this is this something speaking up to like,
- 42:35Hey, it's time to get the keys to Eric B. Enemy,
- 42:40I'm missing it. Well, I'm just saying as far as Washington with him
- 42:44being say he's frustrated this has been going on. How does his comments go
- 42:47that he's attacking the head coach. I mean a lot of times, that's
- 42:52what I'm asking A lot of time when players come out saying there's no there's
- 42:54no motivation here, I'm not. I'm not. I'm tired of this.
- 42:58I'm tired of losing. All I'm gonna do next week is just show up.
- 43:01And it's been going on the same thing has been going on for the
- 43:05last six years since I've been here, right, So, no, you're
- 43:07quite I'm saying, I don't know how that got into being Eric B.
- 43:09Enemy get the keys and I'm trying to catch up with you. But I
- 43:15don't know how those two translate. I'm just he's coming out. I mean,
- 43:20your coaches, you lose a game like this, you had to have
- 43:23some bad calls at the end down in the red zone. It's a couple
- 43:27of plays. He might be blaming Eric B. Enemy only getting seven points.
- 43:30Okay. Ron Rivera is a defensive coach. Okay, they played defense
- 43:35all right as the NFL team. If you can go out and holding team
- 43:37to fourteen points, come on, man, you get your job under twenty
- 43:42Yeah. So Ron Rivera is a defense y'all. You put up seven points?
- 43:46Who you mad with? Some mad at? Somebody said the enemy the
- 43:52keys to the car. I'm saying, now, come on, I'm not
- 43:55if we're all driving, right, big Kenny, we'll not. He's driving
- 44:00us back. I'm driving, I'm designate driving. Why would I give him
- 44:04the key? Why would you even let me in the car. Why you
- 44:08know how this goes each and every time I get in the car. Why
- 44:13would you give me the keys? So typically a defensive player like that,
- 44:16he's saying, he's probably mostly frustrated with the offense. He's because we're doing
- 44:22because we're doing our job, we're giving you the balls for making the stops.
- 44:25So I understand they got they got fourteen points as a defensive team,
- 44:31you think you should win defense. Come over there and say, hey,
- 44:37they only they only gonna get fourteen points today. As an offensive player,
- 44:40that should excite you. Come on, man, thank you. In this
- 44:44league where they give you the ball at the thirty five they call every little
- 44:49dB touch on a receiver, the whole game is turned so they can score
- 44:54points. The losses are forty two point The people who lose score for think
- 45:00allowed twenty four points or less. So I thought he was mostly talking about
- 45:04how he's frustrated with the offense of production their inconsistency of how they score.
- 45:10I didn't. I don't think he was saying anything about Ron Rivera. But
- 45:15you so desperate to make Eric vinic enemy about to lose his job. He
- 45:22can't score. You're supposed to be now you're not even proving you that you
- 45:25can. Maybe it was Andy Reed, Oh is it too so? No,
- 45:37no, oh, this is a great offense that was three weeks ago.
- 45:39That's what I'm saying. I'm saying now. I'm saying now you you
- 45:45opened the door without your shirt on lead open. You knew you was built
- 45:50like that for you opened the door. Cleveland and their great defense yesterday giving
- 45:55up a lot of points to the Indianapolis coachs guarding the men shoot running two
- 46:00touchdowns, won an exception, got a little run game going. As a
- 46:04team. They rush for one hundred and sixty eight yards, but the Brown's
- 46:07doing enough at the end behind PJ. Walker. Deshaun Watson left early in
- 46:14the game. He did try to play, which surprised me, but he
- 46:17sustained a concussion and left the game. I thought maybe yet reinjured that shoulder.
- 46:24I keep going on record, I don't know DeShawn personally. I do
- 46:30watch body language. Deshaun watching does not look like he is engaged in his
- 46:37profession. I'm not saying he doesn't have the talent. I don't. I
- 46:42just know maybe that court case or maybe it's the city. It be sitting
- 46:46there now we'll talk about on the side. Sometimes when you go for the
- 46:52bag, you do find yourself and thinking you can overcome by your choice right
- 47:01preach, but you sitting there still, man, I would that vibe I
- 47:06had. Why did you choose Atlanta? That's who you chose until the bag
- 47:10came right, m And now you sitting there and the bag doesn't make up
- 47:15for being in There's nothing in pain more than sports show. After this,
- 47:22I just don't for a menion. But I still got to say, sure
- 47:25you know that on the really you know I'd be speaking face she know that
- 47:29on the same good I was pushing cat she know I got this game,
- 47:31but I'm never gonna give it back. Every time that weve I gotta run

- 51:10a college I had never heard of. And don't lie. It's that's the
- 51:14thing you had never heard of he went to like Shepherd, University of Tulsa
- 51:22or something. You had never heard of it either, Big Kenny and babaduis
- 51:27y'all be lying? Hit me up going to texts telling about Yeah, man,
- 51:30you see my boy from Shepherd. Now you know where is Shepherd?
- 51:36You it said it said Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Oh listen, you mean

- 51:52right, And that was riding to Pittsburgh. I've never even been to
- 51:59West virgin Yeah, and it's funny you say that. Analyst last night he
- 52:04was on a former NFL player, So yeah, I heard him before.
- 52:07I had to scout alignment for someone. I did some research on him.
- 52:12While I was scouting in alignement, I was saying to myself, come on,
- 52:14well, from what I read, he was the hot stuff at wherever
- 52:17he was in Division two. He had a lot of records. He won
- 52:21the Harlan Hill Trophy, which is like the Heisman for Division two. Well,
- 52:24he put a lot of heat on Justin Fields because the offense moved yesterday.
- 52:32They put up thirty points in the game. He threw one touchdown,
- 52:37He scrambled for a lot of cut first downs. The receivers got in the
- 52:43game. Seemed like they were making plays. He had twenty one receptions.
- 52:46Now when the last time Justin Fields. Now, I'm saying, go ahead.
- 52:52You said he put a lot of heat on Justin Fields. But it's
- 52:54not hard when you're sitting on top of a gas tank that's wrapped with dynamite.
- 53:01Justin Fields deserves all of the heat that he's getting. From the standpoint
- 53:06that Justin Fields just a couple of weeks ago, was saying that it was
- 53:09the offense. It was the receivers. I thought they got me playing robotic.
- 53:17Okay, maybe the limitations of whatever they have on you are a function
- 53:22that those are those are your skill sets. And you can't seem to work
- 53:28the third receiver right because you don't know how to work. You can't read
- 53:34your progressions to the third receiver. And now it's awkward in the locker room.
- 53:37Nobody want to make eye contact. He's holding the ball too long.
- 53:42So the what's his name, Tyson bagget a bagnet Bagnant or Beagent agent one
- 53:53touchdown, only got sacked once in the game. On the other side,
- 53:59Jimmy Garoppolo. You know, the Raiders, if they're gonna do anything,
- 54:02Jimmy G has to play. No, Jimmy G is not just gonna do
- 54:07too much more. But the offense does seem to have some kind of cohesiveness
- 54:13when he's in there versus Brian Horrior or Ayton O'Connell who kind of like Tyson
- 54:20beagent. We don't know who these people are, but Cleveland got a quarterback
- 54:25that you know who. He had like two last names, Thompson Walker,
- 54:30Dorian Thompson Robinson. Yes, you remember some guys in the league that I
- 54:34just don't know their name like that. But the Raiders losing another game trade
- 54:39deadline, they say they're not gonna get rid of Adams, which that could
- 54:45be smoking mirror. As you know, some teams make that declaration only to
- 54:51get rid of you. DeVante. Adams probably wants out of town as well
- 54:55as he thought this team would be in another die direction at this point.
- 55:00So and he's valuable as far as trade. If you got a piece and
- 55:06you think you can get some things once you realize this ain't the year.
- 55:12It's okay and here here and Derek excuse me, but he and Derek Carr
- 55:15played together. Correct, That's one of the reasons he came to Raiders originally.
- 55:20So you know the person that bought him there. Recruiting him probably depossible.
- 55:24Like you said, he's ready to go, and you said that,
- 55:28like the Raiders don't plan to trade him, and he has said he doesn't
- 55:30want to leave. Is that a sign that a trade is coming? Well,
- 55:35that's I'm saying. Don't let that. That sounds to the common ear
- 55:39that this marriage is gonna stay on right, But to how we've seen this
- 55:45work out, I didn't heard that. Baby. Don't you worry about a
- 55:51thing everything? It's fine. What are these suitcases about? Tampa Bay hosting
- 55:58the Falcons yesterday? Six team the thirteen and the football gods must have passed
- 56:02on what I told the Falcons last week, Desmond Ritter, Is he Tom
- 56:12Brady? No? Is he serviceable enough this year to at least win the
- 56:15division? Yes? But what you have to do with him? He cannot
- 56:20throw the ball forty eight times just like he did last week? Great numbers
- 56:25yesterday for this young man. He was nineteen of twenty five only sack once
- 56:32threw for two hundred and sixty yards. That's all I need, Desmond,
- 56:37come home, man, And that's how you have to call the game off
- 56:40the Smith. It goes hand in hand. Just convert when you can.
- 56:47He really only had the one blunder. That's a product of the new school
- 56:53football. When you people get my old heart coaching would have made Desmond rids
- 57:00or just run on into the end zone. The new style where you get
- 57:04style points for running in for slowing down. You ever notice that, Just
- 57:09finish the touchdown. Now, everybody, once they think they're in, they
- 57:14get to the five and start acting like they were moving at the speed of
- 57:17prime time. No, you wasn't moving that fast in the first place.
- 57:21Just run on in there. First of all, I need you to run
- 57:22in there because you're the quarterback. And I don't even want him to trip
- 57:25you down. I want you to avoid any I don't even want him the
- 57:30defender guy getting over there close enough to hit you and make you fall.
- 57:35Just run on in and finish. That's that. When we talk about coaching
- 57:38somebody hard, it stands on those principles of that mindset of just finish what
- 57:44you're doing, don't worry about getting into the celebration focus. But yesterday,
- 57:49as we go to break the Bucks, this is to me probably the toughest
- 57:53competition because the foul The Saints just don't seem like they figured it out yet.
- 58:00But I think the Falcons is gone on record when the season started.
- 58:05They have enough and they have a friendly enough schedule to win the division.
- 58:10They have ten games left and I think as we went through seven, all
- 58:15of those teams are of equal. Yes, there's about three teams they have
- 58:21to play where you would say, oh, that team has more talent,
- 58:24but seven of these games are of the same Tampa Bay, the Saints,
- 58:30teams that are on the same that they can beat Carolina those kind of games.
- 58:34So sixteen thirteen, right now, at four and three, the Falcons
- 58:37went in the division, still got ten weeks to go, and one good
- 58:42thing about them, they're defeating the injury bug right down. Yeah, they
- 58:45don't have a lot of pieces missing based on injury. We'll be back right
- 58:50after this. From the Book of wis moment. So when you've got to
- 58:52have power, paid leaders, but without a passage, the menin Padda Lives,
- 58:58thirty down bombs, the Blue Bended, and that you're HEARDing about things.

- 1:01:20the way you may pill Vegan, welcome back to this what shock show up?
- 1:01:24This what shock Wing Gandy? Good morning to you. Forty nine ers
- 1:01:30versus Minnesota tonight Monday Night football. We got two great baseball series going on,
- 1:01:36Arizona versus Philly tonight at eight o'clock. Philly is up three to two
- 1:01:42in that series. Correct, yes, And on the other side Texas Rangers,
- 1:01:47Houston Astros or tied three the three game seven tonight in that series,
- 1:01:55Uh, it will be in Houston. Both of those teams are very offensive.
- 1:02:01They just be zero zero and the next thing, you know, a
- 1:02:05six to zero, the next six to five. They get real explosive,
- 1:02:08real quick in that series. So those are games tonight on tap. We
- 1:02:15are in week one of the NBA. NBA kicks off tomorrow night. We'll
- 1:02:21talk a little bit more about the NBA before the show ends. Command you,
- 1:02:24Greg Big Kenny, the Bad producer, all in the studio today.
- 1:02:29If you missed earlier, we talked about Michael Irvin snitching on his son,
- 1:02:35but in our view, a good snitch. We talked about what's the different
- 1:02:38between the fair and a carnival. Google it if you missed it here on
- 1:02:43the show or listen to the replay of our show on Spotify or Apple Podcast
- 1:02:49as well. Talked a little NFL. I know the bad producer before we
- 1:02:53move on. He wanted to make a little comment about a team he used
- 1:02:58to support, the Atlanta Falcons. What was your comment? Never stop?
- 1:03:04He just question yesterday watching the game with a couple of Falcons fans. We
- 1:03:07were concerned when with b Jeon Robinson, are started running back rookie coming in
- 1:03:14and he didn't have any touches in the first half, and then the reporter
- 1:03:17that he was sick. And then at the end of the game he got
- 1:03:21one carry for three yards right there. And then also later on we found
- 1:03:24out that Draft Kings, which is a sports book, they credited everyone in
- 1:03:29the Bjon Robinson's prayer prop prop markets they credited him back because he didn't have
- 1:03:35any touches yesterday, just with with the betting. And I don't know anything
- 1:03:40about that. I know you, I didn't. I wasn't on in the
- 1:03:45wherever you were. I wasn't on Draft Kings. I don't. I don't
- 1:03:52know where you I'm not the oracle of social media and what people are doing.
- 1:03:58You said you had a question about the off I'm saying, what's the
- 1:04:00question about the offense? Well, I'm just saying with him being out and
- 1:04:04was there something they was he used as a decoy yesterday to put him out
- 1:04:09there self with time he touched the ball and then you wait till like the
- 1:04:12last what thirty seconds of the game he finally get a touch just wondering what
- 1:04:15was going on with that. I mean, I think that some of you
- 1:04:18people who think your geniuses at football forget that each week is a different story.
- 1:04:27You have to start making wrinkles of what you think other teams. I've
- 1:04:31been forcing you the ball to be on the last two or three weeks,
- 1:04:34so you know what we're gonna do the week, We're gonna try to get
- 1:04:38off of that and go to something else. Everybody wants it to be the
- 1:04:42same storyline every week, where the quarterback throws the ball to this guy and
- 1:04:46this guy gets twenty catches a game or this that's not the sometime Derrick Henry,
- 1:04:53he got twenty yards today. He you know, it just doesn't work.
- 1:04:57So I don't know. They have been using Bijon, is that correct?
- 1:05:01Yeah, but he didn't. Also, Tordello Patterson is back, so
- 1:05:05the Bjon package might be unexpanded to where where they really wanted it to use
- 1:05:11him. Like I said, it was more like a Deebo Samuel. So
- 1:05:15they haven't been able to have enough practice time. This is the first time
- 1:05:18I've seen Cordell get this many carries, or he could have been sick.
- 1:05:24Now over the course of a three hour game you can get well, but
- 1:05:30it sounds like y'all are locked in too that either because you're betting on DraftKings
- 1:05:35and you got these one of those things fantasy football team, so you need
- 1:05:41a person to do this. But sixteen to thirteen the Falcons went on the
- 1:05:45road and beat the Bucks in that the point, the point, that's the
- 1:05:48point. Yeah, that's and that's what that is. What Well, we
- 1:05:53don't count your happiness because it's only fake happiness. When they win, all
- 1:05:58y'all do is question. I'm celebrating they win. Were talking about why Bjeon
- 1:06:02only got one and before he started talking, we didn't have any comments on
- 1:06:09the message board. But now the message board has lit up and everyone wants
- 1:06:13to know sports shock. Why do you let him talk? That is that's
- 1:06:16what everyone keeps asking, like, why do you let him talk? Why
- 1:06:19are we letting him talk? Rand the ball yesterday thirty eight times one hundred
- 1:06:24and fifty eight yards, As I said, they need to be around one
- 1:06:27hundred and fifty as a team. Russian. Let this young man Ritter keep
- 1:06:30him thirty two passes or less. Find an offense that allows him to less
- 1:06:36than thirty two and we and that's how we go it. That's our approach.
- 1:06:41Sixteen thirteen. I don't know why Jon only got one carry. You
- 1:06:45just said he started off the game. He might have been sick, I
- 1:06:48think, and I think during the game at some point Arthur Blank said that,
- 1:06:55yeah, he's not feeling great right now, so it's trending towards he
- 1:06:59was sick. I ain't thinking about he was. Is that well enough for
- 1:07:03you in your game? Well, I mean he was out there, he
- 1:07:08was out there. Well, I mean he was there, he was on
- 1:07:11the field, and then he didn't touch the ball until the last one thirty
- 1:07:15seconds, So I mean it's fine. So you know we didn't because we
- 1:07:24can. We do have. I don't know if other people are going to
- 1:07:27Spotify or Apple. We do have, and we got three witnesses and a
- 1:07:33recording that sounded like some FBI stuff to get never never know that. I
- 1:07:39wasn't a Falcon fane. See, I'm just disappointed in some of the movements
- 1:07:44and actions sometimes, but I still careful because you're caught up in to be
- 1:07:48a veteran of football. You have gotten the game, like a lot of
- 1:07:55people wrong. The fact that the fan about the game is to win the
- 1:08:00game, y'all. People are caught up on style points and who won the
- 1:08:05game. For you, I'm taking you inside the helmet. I don't care
- 1:08:12who has a hot day. Remember I'm the old line, so I'm the
- 1:08:18most neutral party on the field, good or bad, and talking about as
- 1:08:27a group. We don't get spoken about individually. Now we the old line
- 1:08:31played well or the old line suck today. It is one of those kind
- 1:08:34of things. Everybody else that hit the field has a stat The running back
- 1:08:41ran for this, the guy called for this, the tight end call for
- 1:08:44this, this guy had an interception. We just out there as a group,
- 1:08:47So I don't care who runs in here and scores a touchdown. We
- 1:08:51get to w I just want to win the game. I don't care if
- 1:08:58it's Bjon, I don't care if it's little brother run the ball one hundred
- 1:09:04times or throw it. All I want to care about is the win.
- 1:09:08And everybody else seems to be well, we had done this better, And
- 1:09:12I'm gonna give you one thing and we're gonna move on because I'm so tired
- 1:09:15of hearing these these false prophets. Because we don't get a touchdown in the
- 1:09:23first quarter that you thought we should have went for the touchdown or we missed
- 1:09:27the field goal. That's not why the game is three points at the end,
- 1:09:32because the sequence of things would have changed. You're saying, well,
- 1:09:36we missed the extra point. Well we had made the extra point. You're
- 1:09:41making it seem like we would have won the game. The only time to
- 1:09:45play that counts like that, it's at the end of the game. But
- 1:09:51remember that two points we missed in the first quarter. See that would have
- 1:09:56been So you're saying, if we had gotten that, everything will to happen
- 1:10:00in the same sequence after that. Are you neo? Are y'all in the
- 1:10:05matrix? Because maybe we would have made it and instead of the team going
- 1:10:11down and get a field goal, next they've got a touchdown. Quins has
- 1:10:15changed. It's not linear. I just sit with so many people in there.
- 1:10:23Yeah, man, we'll see if we had gone for two or we
- 1:10:27went this, So you think that would have carried through three more quarters?
- 1:10:30That belief? What football? Are y'all? I'm always lost. Is anyone
- 1:10:36else nervous about the fact that bad producers part of a group? Does that
- 1:10:42make anyone besides me nervous? Like that? He's got other people that he
- 1:10:45seems to make on that he was a security guard at TJ max on sax
- 1:10:50Fifth Avenue, off Brand or whatever he said he was. Him being security
- 1:10:55anywhere makes me there lost, I get straight up straight. It makes you
- 1:11:00nervous, and it makes me feel like I missed the golden opportunity. You
- 1:11:02see what I'm saying, Like we could have we could have retired from crime
- 1:11:05had we caught him as the security guy. Yeah, that before we go
- 1:11:12to breakline one game we didn't hit on. We got a couple more throughout
- 1:11:15the show, but just to wrap up, New Orleans did lose to Jacksonville
- 1:11:20on Thursday night. That Thursday night game just gets kind of lost in any
- 1:11:26kind of flavor thirty one twenty four. In that game, Trevor Lawrence says
- 1:11:30he exercised some demons that first time he's won anything in New Orleans in his
- 1:11:35career. It sounded like a voodoo reference in that game. Jacksonville is five
- 1:11:46and two, kind of picking up where they left quietly. I don't know
- 1:11:49if the people really really are saying I believe in that five and two,
- 1:11:54But they are five and two. The Saints are three and four in the
- 1:12:00vision with the Falcons and we'll be back more a Sports Jock show right after
- 1:12:03this. Yeah, I was riding around in a B twelve with the rags

- 1:18:39played in Major League Baseball, right, eighteen years? Yeah, that's what
- 1:18:42I'm saying. That's like three different leagues he played throughout his you know them

- 1:19:02It was a rumor, and I know bad producer probably can let us
- 1:19:06know if it's factual or not. Sugar Knight is supposed to have a podcast
- 1:19:10from prison. Yeah, I've heard it too. I was waiting all the

- 1:19:42of his show? Uh said it will go into hip hop topics, share
- 1:19:45life experiences, foster connections with younger and older audio artists, and address audience
- 1:19:53questions. How do you get booked on his show? It's got whack one
- 1:20:00hundred written all over it because you know him, he's probably came up with
- 1:20:03it. Well, I would say that you're right, except for nobody knows
- 1:20:06who that is and nobody really cares whack. I don't know who no one

- 1:20:20prison? Well, this is clearly on the phone? YEA or a video
- 1:20:28or something you can't do three? You know, Brian McKnight a story that
- 1:20:33commands you. Greg found very interesting. Seemed like he took it personal.
- 1:20:38Brian McKnight, who just had a newborn son, changed his name. Now,
- 1:20:45don't stick with me, and hopefully I can say this in the right
- 1:20:47way that you understand it. Brian McKnight name was Brian something McKnight. He
- 1:20:54just had a new son. He named that son Brian something McKnight, with
- 1:21:00a different middle name than what his father passed to him or mother. But
- 1:21:09Brian McKnight had already had an older son that he named Brian McKnight Junior.
- 1:21:16He asked his older son, Brian McKnight Junior, to change his name so
- 1:21:21he could change his younger son's name to Brian McKnight Junior. But the other
- 1:21:29older son denied him this request, and that's what led him to change his
- 1:21:35middle name to the new born's new name. So Brian McKnight is still Brian
- 1:21:46McKnight, the singer. He just has a new middle name so it could
- 1:21:51match his younger son's name. Sounds by his confusing as the bad producer.
- 1:22:00I was gonna say, can we get four music for that? I was

- 1:26:16is about two weeks away, but AP still has Georgia at number one,
- 1:26:21Michigan at two. Uh. They just love to set up that showdown between
- 1:26:26Michigan and Ohio State, and rightfully so. It is one of the biggest
- 1:26:30games each year. Ohio State is three, Florida State, who got by
- 1:26:34Duke, is four, The Huskies out of Washington is five. The Sooners
- 1:26:41are six Texas, who will probably be without their starting quarterback Ears does that
- 1:26:48he say his name yours yours, which gives a little chance maybe arch Manning.
- 1:26:53I know they're going with another red shirt freshman in front of him,
- 1:26:56and I think arch Manning now is the backup to Arch Banning might get in
- 1:27:01some of these games here if somebody get injured. But Texas is seven,
- 1:27:06the Ducks and bow Knicks out of Oregon is eight, and the Tide of
- 1:27:12Alabama is nine. One of the best jobs that Nick Saban because Nick Saban
- 1:27:17is having to swallow his pride and go back to coaching and get back to
- 1:27:21the philosophy of just win the game. Sometimes you can show up with just
- 1:27:28more talent, sometimes that talent is motivated, and sometimes you just have to
- 1:27:30take the reins and get them to win the game. And Penn State,
- 1:27:34who lost to Ohio State, is at number ten. Michigan State coming under
- 1:27:42some controversy from the weekend. At some point a staffer forgot to vet and
- 1:27:54that staffer has been suspended. I can get this computer to stop moving around,
- 1:28:02which it doesn't seem like it wants to. As I punch on the
- 1:28:05story. Okay, go ahead on move and then I'll move. Then we'll
- 1:28:10go there you go, Uh tell yourself unreliable. Michigan State has suspended the
- 1:28:17staffer for the image that was shown on the video board at Spartan Stadium before
- 1:28:25Saturday's football game against Michigan, which if you saw the game, you turned
- 1:28:31at halftime Michigan blew the doors off of Spartan Stadium, but the Michigan State
- 1:28:36Athletic director Alan hat Haller said he suspended that employee. At some point a
- 1:28:46Hitler face image was displayed, and they're still trying to get to the bottom
- 1:28:55of it now. The image included Hitler's part was a quiz. The staffer,
- 1:29:03or at least the university is saying that the staffer, I guess it
- 1:29:08didn't cut off fast enough. It was never supposed to get to that Hitler
- 1:29:12image, right, But that was the kind of only big noise because the
- 1:29:18game was not competitive at all. Right, if I remember, it was
- 1:29:21like forty four to six. It was like one of those kind of scores
- 1:29:26right in the game. What you got for me best? Now, it
- 1:29:29wasn't too much of a robbery game. I mean, you know, it's
- 1:29:30supposed to be a robbery game, but it would turn out to a blowout
- 1:29:33this weekend. But no, nothing else on that one but we And this
- 1:29:43is just the conventional wisdom that I use in my deductive reasoning process whenever we
- 1:29:48hear stories like this. It's not new, but the times that we in
- 1:29:55by everyone's agreement are far more are critical and ultrasensitive to unpopular, unfavorable images,
- 1:30:08words, and ideas. For something like this to even be included in
- 1:30:15something where we got to cut it off before it gets to Hitler seems like
- 1:30:18rolling the dice to me. And it seems like there's a lot of what
- 1:30:24we would call in the industry cya after the fact. But I'm still a
- 1:30:30little incredulous to believe that you would have something that was vetted that only stipulation
- 1:30:38was cut it off before it gets to Hitler. Well, in this case,
- 1:30:41it was they were streaming a YouTube channel and the creator of the channel,
- 1:30:48it's a quiz channel where they, you know, put up trivia questions.
- 1:30:51Right, they weren't allowed. They weren't they didn't get permission to use
- 1:30:57it in the first place. But it's random trivia questions because it had the
- 1:31:01previous question was on Star trek what color was Spock's blood and then they show
- 1:31:08the answer, so I think it was a matter that it wasn't there was
- 1:31:13a break in the process of vetting the video. Who I don't know how
- 1:31:15long these videos are. They could be ten fifteen minutes, and no one
- 1:31:19took the time to go through the whole thing. And it was before the
- 1:31:23game. It was like they were saying there was videos that they were playing
- 1:31:25before the game. So well, the two things I like is that they
- 1:31:29hopefully they just suspend and not fire the person right And second is it is
- 1:31:33a true testament of the times we live in. We do take the short
- 1:31:38We do just read the headline, true and not read the whole story.
- 1:31:42For most of the things, we do throw away the instructions of how to
- 1:31:45put something together. Just look at the box. That is how, and
- 1:31:50that's what this sounds like. We do. We will quickly just get to
- 1:31:55the park we want. We didn't go any further. I'm stuck in my
- 1:32:00conventional old school journalism wisdom and where everything has to get cleared from the front
- 1:32:05office. Then we read it, then we reread it, and all of
- 1:32:10that stuff. So I can see how it would happen. I just think
- 1:32:13that something because in your day, they would have to run the real back
- 1:32:16right, cut the real take the other piece together together. Now, with
- 1:32:20technology, we're just pushing a button. And that's the part I want.
- 1:32:25Even when we do clips here on the show, we might just run it
- 1:32:30to hear the part of the interview and hopefully I'll say, Okay, that's
- 1:32:35enough. That's when it gets to a certain word and I and even in
- 1:32:40researching it, I might not listen to the whole ten minutes. Now I
- 1:32:45listened to the part that Okay, at seven minutes and eighteen seconds, Prime
- 1:32:48said we're gonna be undefeated. Now, I didn't know at seven minutes and
- 1:32:53forty two seconds he was gonna say twenty one. You had no idea.
- 1:33:00Yeah, So hopefully in that case, but it wasn't that much of an
- 1:33:02entertaining of a game at all. Michigan spent the whole week trying to explain
- 1:33:09the situation where they with Jim Harball, which it seems like I don't know
- 1:33:14what Jim Harball did to the NCAA, but they are going to nick pick
- 1:33:17him until he the leaves and go to the NBA or retire But the storyline
- 1:33:25out of Michigan's week, other than beating Michigan State, is that they were
- 1:33:30caught stealing signs from opposing teams. Now, Jim Harball says that he has
- 1:33:40no idea what the investigation is alluding to. I do take the defense with
- 1:33:47certain coaches that coaches, as much as you want to think they know everything,
- 1:33:51I don't. I didn't know y'all came up with that scam in the
- 1:33:56back. And for clarity, we're not talking about as stealing sign which are
- 1:34:00competitors like signs that say Ghost State. No, we're talking about stealing signs
- 1:34:04of signals from the other team of what they might want to do. Now,
- 1:34:13I don't find it wrong to steal signs. I thought that was called
- 1:34:17preparation. Now, I found what the Houston Astros did in baseball wrong because
- 1:34:23they were communicating it through devices. But but me sitting out here and us
- 1:34:30being players, I'm always as an offensive lineman blocking d I'm always listening to
- 1:34:39the communication of what is the dtackle telling the linebacker and hopefully I'll figure it
- 1:34:45out before halftime. Why does he keep saying Ashford. Every time he say
- 1:34:54Ashford, they do this but I need them to do it about three or
- 1:34:58four times. I can't just go off the first time. They say it's
- 1:35:00like the old when Peyton Manning was doing the whole Omaha, Well, once
- 1:35:08you the powers that be start showing it on TV, he was using Omaha
- 1:35:15as a decoy. Trust me, it stopped being its original. He started
- 1:35:21just calling it to confuse it. Are they changing because we made it that
- 1:35:25popular? So that's signs stealing now. I guess they're saying with the Michigan
- 1:35:30was someone over there like Spygate with the JT or they're saying somebody walked on
- 1:35:39the sideline? Did they bug them in New England? The time in that
- 1:35:44time when they were in Cincinnati camera where they had they sent people to uh
- 1:35:53a game of the opponent they're playing next to observe them and see what their
- 1:35:59signals are. Uh, because there was a picture of virus there. I
- 1:36:02think there's no proof of if the guys associated with the school. But with
- 1:36:08the Ohio State Penn State game, UH, the camera panned over the crowd
- 1:36:14and you see all the those Ohio State fans and there's one guy in a
- 1:36:16Michigan jacket and there and right after the story comes out. So they're wanting
- 1:36:21is he there to watch Ohio State sideline and get their signals? So that's
- 1:36:28part of what this hole. But they they've always sent scouts to the next
- 1:36:30game, and they've always done that. But he was sitting in a section,
- 1:36:35didn't well I'm saying that, but I'm just trying to pull the cover
- 1:36:43thats It's like they always send scouts to the next game to get there's there's
- 1:36:46a whole department that their job is to not watch the game today, watch
- 1:36:54against start for preparation for the next opponent. Right, and this is what
- 1:36:59we are observed. That's why even on the sideline they go to home the
- 1:37:01wonder woman sign means this or you will see the good coordinators they put their
- 1:37:06their board in front of their face when they called the play. All right,
- 1:37:12they don't just do this and call the play because I don't know.
- 1:37:16And now we talked about diversion. Would you really come stealing signs with your
- 1:37:21Hey I'm from Michigan, jacket on. Would you really be out here there
- 1:37:27like that? That's the diversion. Hey, let's watch this guy. Meanwhile,
- 1:37:31there's a dude on the field stole the playbook with this kind of stuff.
- 1:37:35I just would love you to run your investigation, then make a statement,
- 1:37:40and then make a statement. I don't I don't like that whole trying
- 1:37:44to create a cloud only to tell me after we put this out there for
- 1:37:48a month that was the coach's son. We'll be back more to Sportstock show
- 1:37:54right after this. The time is not for you to say I thought it
- 1:37:58would be a good chance you don't moved house, spoon sick. Always look

- 1:41:06what was this? What shuck show? This war shock? Wayne Candy?
- 1:41:11Good morning to you. Gonna wrap up this NFL report. The Broncos yesterday
- 1:41:15doing enough to hold off the Green Bay Packers, the Broncos getting their second
- 1:41:21win two and five, nineteen to seventeen over the Packers. Not a lot
- 1:41:30to say. The Broncos defense finally stood up there at the end. They've
- 1:41:34been losing a lot of those games. They'll start off good and then then
- 1:41:39they will fade out in the second half. This time they were able to
- 1:41:43hold on. The thing they did yesterday was they didn't sit there and make
- 1:41:49Russell Wilson throw the ball all day. I don't know why y'all think.
- 1:41:53Russell Wilson, first and foremost, was never a guy that functioned great when
- 1:41:58you throw the ball over thirty five times. Uh. He was always similar
- 1:42:02to this game. They ran the ball twenty six times, got one hundred
- 1:42:04and forty eight yard played defense. That's how the Seahawks under Russell Wilson one
- 1:42:10game. It was game management, a talented game manager. It's what I've
- 1:42:16always saw us. Wilson had a nice young man called Besmo running the ball
- 1:42:20also, so you know when you like you said and other running backs.
- 1:42:25I know y'all keep thinking that Besmoe was the only guy. They've had a
- 1:42:29couple of thousand yard runners that played there. Everybody's just locked on Russell.
- 1:42:34I'm talking about with Russell at the time. Go look, as I said,
- 1:42:41don't just be a headline. It was two or three years after Besmoe
- 1:42:44left. They had thousand yard rushers. They didn't do nothing after that one
- 1:42:48year one thousand yards. But they were able to run because they had a
- 1:42:50great offensive line. But you just wanted to plug the be Smoll thing in.
- 1:42:55I know that's how people are just like to do things like that.
- 1:43:00But last night, the Miami Dolphins losing to the Eagles, as I said
- 1:43:08earlier in the show, a game where the Miami Dolphins with that high powered
- 1:43:13offense and it gets scary, a couple of pieces missing. Can they replace
- 1:43:17him? We'll see. Waddle went out early in the game with a back
- 1:43:23issue. Was Jalen Waddle. He did have six receptions, but I don't
- 1:43:28even think he played in the second half. Something happened to his back.
- 1:43:31He is an injury prone receiver, explosive receiver, but he always seems to
- 1:43:35be in and out of the line up. Tyreek Hill had eleven catches in
- 1:43:41one touchdown. But this Eagles team at home just looked like they had a
- 1:43:46point to prove they were not going to let the Miami Dolphins off the hook.
- 1:43:53Julio Jones even got in a game and caught a ball for three yards.
- 1:43:59Gohlio, he caught the ball for three yards, and now they say
- 1:44:02he's going to be out for the next four He's gonna be out for nine
- 1:44:08weeks now. Julio hooking his engine to his caboos, to an engine he
- 1:44:14thinks might get him to the super Bowl, and rightfully so, after so
- 1:44:17many great years, be a crowning achievement for him. Jalen Hurts had a
- 1:44:21great efficient night making plays with his feet. The Eagles, I think,
- 1:44:28the Dolphins, the Chiefs, the forty nine ers, they're part of that
- 1:44:31group. As I say to me, their biggest enemy is injuries. Everybody
- 1:44:38show up. They get everybody to show up. It's gonna be hard to
- 1:44:41beat. I had a question. I saw a little bit of the game
- 1:44:45last night, and a lot of people are talking about the the tush push
- 1:44:53or push pu yeah, the brotherly shove, yes, whatever is there a
- 1:44:58way that that can be stopped from the d from the from the defensive side.
- 1:45:03Sure? What what do they have to do? Not let them get
- 1:45:08in third and one, third and fourth and one, so do their work
- 1:45:12early. Yes, okay, So you want to stop it, You want
- 1:45:15to stuff right because they only do it when it's more than one. Well,
- 1:45:20don't let them get in there. Keep it. If it's third and
- 1:45:23five, they don't touch push right, if it's third and four, they
- 1:45:27don't do it. They only do it in those situations. So you want
- 1:45:30to stop it until the league banded. Yeah, you see, you want
- 1:45:34to take the easy way out. Well, league got a band it.
- 1:45:36I'm telling you that's what. Don't he's not. I'm not asking what I'm
- 1:45:43saying. I don't even say now and listen, because here nobody listens to
- 1:45:50the people in the world. He is a sports authority because he's show and
- 1:45:56they be thinking he knows what he looking at it. In high school,
- 1:46:00we can't do that. You can't push the person in the end zone from
- 1:46:05that position. So in high school they don't let you do that. The
- 1:46:10play, to me was originated from all the way back to USC Reggie Bush,
- 1:46:15that other running back White. That was kind of the most recent time
- 1:46:19I remember that was consistently a play. It used to be the running back
- 1:46:25was just running up there to help out after that play. It seemed like
- 1:46:28to be one of those. But the way you stop it is to make
- 1:46:31sure that it's not third and one because that's the only time they run the
- 1:46:35play. And that was the question I was gonna ask you because the way
- 1:46:39Chris Collinsworth last night and they were saying, it's the first time we ever
- 1:46:42seen this play this working like this, but now you referenent I remember USC
- 1:46:46doing something similar to that. But they were trying to say that this is
- 1:46:50something new and the only thing I could he can stop it is the NFL
- 1:46:54if they banned them from doing well, it's something new to the NFL to
- 1:46:57continue to do this. The quarterbacks, Nick has always been there, but
- 1:47:00very seldom with someone even like a Jalen Hurts because you could get hurt.
- 1:47:08But he's allowing them to do this play with him consistently. But you know,
- 1:47:13most of your standard quarterbacks are not going to They don't even like to
- 1:47:17run right. So the rugby right rugby scrum on the goal line, it's
- 1:47:24like, nah, don't call back the coach and it helps. Yeah,
- 1:47:27you need to keep a whole nother quarterback for that. Don't in their minds.
- 1:47:33The Chargers and the chief did battle yesterday thirty one seventeen in this game
- 1:47:40for all you Swifties out there, the Chiefs winning thirty one seventeen. The
- 1:47:45Chargers just, uh, it's gonna be some changes with that team, and
- 1:47:49I think he's going to probably at the end of year, start with the
- 1:47:51head coach and just trickle down to people like Joey Bosa. Everybody was stealing
- 1:47:59money and how long are we gonna do this? Taylor swift Ka because when
- 1:48:04the women watching the game with you go, I'm so tired of singing her,
- 1:48:09you know, you know it's gotten, and they come on, well,
- 1:48:13but but don't be mad at Taylor. I ain't mad at her.
- 1:48:17Put that on NBC and A b C. Then the producer, those are
- 1:48:24the people who are controlling that. Even had Mahme's wife in the box with
- 1:48:28her yesterday. She's always been up there in the box. Then okay,
- 1:48:32Taylor as the first time Taylor's the plus one. Oh okay, they were
- 1:48:40in Kansas City, right, yes, and that makes that Patrick mahone wife
- 1:48:45is that's her the queen? That's her box? Taylor coming in she said,
- 1:48:50I guess we'll be back sports after this, grug them out the glove
- 1:49:00A law for me. Your life conflict don't go away. More of the
- 1:49:10Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gambidia's coming up next, and now let's talk about
- 1:49:15something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a
- 1:49:19critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have life insurance.
- 1:49:25When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just getting started
- 1:49:27with our family and thought we lived forever life insurance. What's the last thing
- 1:49:30on my mind? What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:49:34When I was forty, with a kid in college and bills piling up,
- 1:49:36I was worried how my family will survived without me. That's what I'm
- 1:49:40in an appointment with the insurance informants. Information gives you power, and life

- 1:49:46that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I leave my family with bills
- 1:49:50or benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:49:54whether you earn a little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
- 1:49:57informant to help you build a foundation of curity, because without you, your
- 1:50:00family will have two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave

- 1:50:41School Officials dot com. And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:50Now it's time for the school board. Will we put a spin on
- 1:50:55life and sports and how they intermingle? On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne
- 1:51:02Gandy, leave with the box, had put stick in the box the whole
- 1:51:09damn field. I'm gonna get laid. I got the Mojo deals, She
- 1:51:16said, what about just what shock? Shot? This what shock? Wayne
- 1:51:19can d Seattle defeating Arizona yesterday twenty to ten. Joshua Dobbs still in there
- 1:51:29for Kyler Murray, who looks like he is retired at least from Arizona.
- 1:51:33I don't know what's going on. What is injury supposed to be If he's
- 1:51:36injured, what is contract they're trying to trade him? Just they say he's
- 1:51:41a he's uh his practice window open, so he's trying to come back.
- 1:51:47Yes, that's what that is. Okay, we need to start practicing down
- 1:51:53man. You need to open his window wider or something. And the first
- 1:51:59two teams that I had the pleasure of playing with in their original form play
- 1:52:05yesterday out in LA because I was drafted by the LA Rams and after five
- 1:52:11years there, I went to play on for the Pittsburgh Stellers. They did
- 1:52:15battle in LA twenty four to seventeen, the Stealers over the Rams. I
- 1:52:21think, if anything, the Stealers have understood finally that it's just about getting
- 1:52:30back to winning the game. I don't know who's gonna win the game today.
- 1:52:33If it's gonna be an interception, it's gonna be a fumble recovery.
- 1:52:38But we ain't out here for those style points. So any one of you,
- 1:52:42forty seven people in uniform can volunteer to do something. Let's go out
- 1:52:47there and earn your money. I know it's a crazy little concept, but
- 1:52:51if you guys want to earn your money today, everybody feel free. We're
- 1:52:55no longer on that Ben Roethlisberger or over the mission. This person win the
- 1:53:00game, any of one of you, just if you would like to make
- 1:53:03a play today that gets us the victory. Right. Guy in the back
- 1:53:08got his hand up, But he has a crazy concept of the team wins
- 1:53:12the game. Right. And that's why I said earlier when I was talking
- 1:53:15about Nick Saban's he's you know, he fell in love with this idea that
- 1:53:20oh with this air raid attack. Oh yeah, But your greatest success as
- 1:53:26a coach was always that you got your whole team to decide. I don't
- 1:53:29know how we're gonna win the day, but just one of y'all go out
- 1:53:31here. I don't care you're fighting. Who's gonna score the winning like the
- 1:53:35defense is scored twice? All right? So the Stellers winning this game twenty
- 1:53:40four seventeen, beating the Rams. The Steelers are four and two, the
- 1:53:45Rams are three and four. When you look around, Shaquille O'Neal back in
- 1:53:50the news cycle. Two things that the guys brought up one. It's location
- 1:53:55that burnt down. I guess he finally got the insurance check build his Crispy
- 1:54:00Kream down famously on Ponce de Leon. The Krispy kreame that was there was
- 1:54:06there way before Shack bought it. At some point he decided to invest in
- 1:54:12that location. It had a fire, yes, and but it is back
- 1:54:17up down there. And Shaq had the audacity to talk about size, and
- 1:54:23I am quite sure knowing Shaq, it was done in laughter tongue where he
- 1:54:30said the Spurs superstar first picked up the draft Victor women Yama was too tall
- 1:54:39that he shouldn't be allowed with his size to play. Uh, he's just
- 1:54:42a new version and that's you know, he's a taller Kevin Durant, a
- 1:54:47taller giannis Ana Dakoupo. It's just you don't really see that. And every
- 1:54:56once in a while it comes by, just like Shaq came by, just
- 1:55:00like Wilt Chamberlain came by, just like the boy from Akron came back.
- 1:55:05You you know, when I people forget it was like watching Lebron is like
- 1:55:10watching carlm along with Handles. It's like that kind of wow, call him
- 1:55:15along could dribble. It's really Lebron James could for eighteen wheeler, he'd have
- 1:55:21been Magic Johnson with his height. He was one of those unicorns of their
- 1:55:28time where it was, you know, a six to eight guy. Before
- 1:55:31then, point guards were in that figure of six two six' four.
- 1:55:36Nobody really thought about a six to eight guy who can pass without looking.
- 1:55:41So there's some unicorns to certain positions with Victor women Yama is a three what
- 1:55:49you would call a small forward as far as skill set with a center's height,
- 1:55:56right, So it's just something we don't get to see a lot of
- 1:56:00times. So people thought it was unfair, especially watching the preseason game against
- 1:56:04the Warriors, where guy gets the ball in the corner like he's wide open
- 1:56:08for three. Here comes women Yama flying at him and blocks into the third
- 1:56:12row. It's who else would you'll quick release, you know, Lebron shag
- 1:56:18will just guys that was one thing like a tall something of something else,
- 1:56:25right, Yeah, like you said with like someone like Maddic Johnson or someone
- 1:56:30like uh I would say Jokic a little bit. Just someone who can like
- 1:56:35be your point guard. And even and even Clyde Drexler with his handles and
- 1:56:41had the height that he had even in our time. I don't remember Clyde
- 1:56:44being a handler. He had no left he had no left hand at all.
- 1:56:49He looks, he looks at the ball at all. That's why Mike
- 1:56:51shut him down all the time. Like Mike, Michael Jordan would sit on
- 1:56:55his right hand so he couldn't go right and he was stuck. Don't do
- 1:56:59it, so I don't. It's trying to get you in the votextat the
- 1:57:01last couple of seconds. The devil is always busy. That's that's what my
- 1:57:05grandmama always said. Waiting Me and Greg went the same. I don't remember.
- 1:57:16He got you out too. Yeah, he brought us in on that.
- 1:57:19Sadly hip hop world lost DJ Mark forty five King. Yes, he
- 1:57:26bring you the song that he may play it as we go out if you
- 1:57:28can no, no, no, no no no. It's a song that
- 1:57:30you've heard. I don't care where you've been. Somebody drops it in.
- 1:57:33Uh, it's kind of musical. Makes you bob your head, uh.
- 1:57:39Sat And speaking of the Rams, one of their players, de Marcus Robinson
- 1:57:43actually last week got robbed at gunpoint out in La We've seen a couple of
- 1:57:48I remember my good friend Derwin James, it happened to him. Terrell Davis,
- 1:57:54the Hall of Famer, it happened the dim. Sometimes you forget your
- 1:57:58place, or you just don't want to hold to the protocol right right.
- 1:58:01You should have paid a little extra for parking, or just got on in
- 1:58:04your car and ype in the tuck my chain and you you know, but
- 1:58:09they are watching, and you forget, you get comfortable. Sometimes I'm not
- 1:58:14saying it's Demarcus's fault. I'm just saying, always stay on high alert,
- 1:58:17keep on moving, don't pump the gas and then get back in the car
- 1:58:21and get on the phone. Just go ahead on and pull off and get
- 1:58:25on out of there. Just don't stop. And we are in the ocean.
- 1:58:30The truth is he will throw your in the ocean. It's time to
- 1:58:35wrap things up. On the Sports jun Show with Wayne Candy, we hit
- 1:59:10this House of the Ocean against this watch out just a minute to Vin.
- 1:59:13We'd like to thank you for tuning in to today's show. Remember you can
- 1:59:16hit a replay on Spotify or go to Apple Podcast and hear us as well.
- 1:59:21Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg Bat producer, thank you for your contributions.
- 1:59:27Today, today I'm gonna give a big, huge round of applause to my
- 1:59:38thirty year reunion team. This weekend Auburn played Ole Miss and we got back
- 1:59:45together at Auburn. It has been thirty years since we went undefeated back in
- 1:59:53nineteen ninety three eleven, and oh we were on probation and could not be
- 1:59:59seen on television, so we always called ourselves the greatest team that you never
- 2:00:06seen. But it was good to see you guys. Most of you look
- 2:00:12like you should be mummified. So I don't know what you need to do.
- 2:00:16Put some of them kids out of the house, leave your wife,
- 2:00:19whatever you do, because some of them those are two good options. They
- 2:00:23were sixty five years old. But no, that was the best part of
- 2:00:27going back, was the realization of what we accomplished. And even though everybody
- 2:00:33didn't come back through talking to the guys, since that thirty years only two
- 2:00:40players have passed away, so at least I had a comfort knowing like everybody
- 2:00:44was still walking around somewhere. And you know, I don't know if it's
- 2:00:47sentimental old age, but I was like, wow, that's thirty years later
- 2:00:51to imagine I don't remember one hundred guys that ninety eight of them are still
- 2:00:58here on earth. But big time salute to you guys. Glad to see
- 2:01:02you. And as I told you this weekend, the biggest question we all
- 2:01:10have is where we be to the fortieth? Can we go another ten and
- 2:01:15meet up again? So congratulations nineteen ninety three Auburn War Eagle Tigers undefeated,
- 2:01:24great season, great memories from the sports shops show. We hope you tune
- 2:01:29in with us later in the week. Be safe, be happy, peace.
- 2:01:34We're all on probation in ninety three. All right, right, no wait time
