- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's more of the Mark Simon Show onr Well, we've
- 0:08Speaker 1: got a lot to get through this houra. It's Veterans Day,
- 0:10Speaker 1: Happy Veterans Day, and we salute all of our veterans.
- 0:13Speaker 1: The parade will begin at twelve thirty. Just remember that
- 0:17Speaker 1: if you're trying to get around Manhattan. The parade starts
- 0:20Speaker 1: at Fifth Avenue about twenty fifth Street, goes up to
- 0:23Speaker 1: about forty fifth Street, so it starts at twelve thirty.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We'll go to about three thirty four o'clock. It's a
- 0:30Speaker 1: Veterans Day. Also, the first snow fell this morning in
- 0:35Speaker 1: New York City, just a couple of flakes here and there.
- 0:37Speaker 1: It didn't stick, obviously, but if you're watching early morning TV,
- 0:42Speaker 1: they had reporters out there showing you these little flakes
- 0:44Speaker 1: of snow. They described it as dandriff like, just a
- 0:48Speaker 1: few little white spots here and there, but it did
- 0:52Speaker 1: not stick. We probably will not get a lot of
- 0:54Speaker 1: snow this winter because the Farmer's Almanac predicted very cold
- 0:58Speaker 1: winter with heavy snow. Remember Farmer's Almanac is wrong like
- 1:02Speaker 1: ninety percent of the time, so that's good news. The Democrats,
- 1:10Speaker 1: they're kind of in a shambles. Right now, after this
- 1:13Speaker 1: shutdown cave in, they're calling for Schumer to step down.
- 1:18Speaker 1: You know, his term is up pretty soon and somebody's
- 1:22Speaker 1: going to run against him. But word is from the
- 1:27Speaker 1: Schumer camp, inside the Schumer camp, he's not going to
- 1:30Speaker 1: run again. He will, he will step down. He will
- 1:32Speaker 1: probably finish his term, but he'll announce he's not going
- 1:35Speaker 1: to seek reelection. Now that's not enough for these crazy,
- 1:39Speaker 1: angry Democrats. They want him out now, they want him
- 1:42Speaker 1: to step down. But he thinks if he just announces
- 1:47Speaker 1: he won't seek reelection, that that'll shut down that step
- 1:50Speaker 1: down talk, that that'll quiet him down, keep him happy.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I don't know if he were to step down, Kathy
- 1:55Speaker 1: Hochel would appoint a new Senator to shout the term.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I don't think anybody wants Kathy Hochel picking anybody. Fetterman,
- 2:05Speaker 1: who's the only honest Democrat out there. He's like the
- 2:09Speaker 1: Bill Clinton of Democrats in it. Back then, same thing
- 2:14Speaker 1: was going on in the Democratic Party. The crazy left
- 2:17Speaker 1: had taken over the extremists for running the party, and
- 2:20Speaker 1: then Bill Clinton rose up. This is this moderate, common
- 2:24Speaker 1: sense sort of Democrat to lead them back to the
- 2:27Speaker 1: middle of the road where they could win again. Fetterman
- 2:30Speaker 1: trying to be that. But Fetterman last night he was
- 2:33Speaker 1: on Hannity and thanks to Sean Hannity, who gave me
- 2:36Speaker 1: a couple of nice plugs last night on his show.
- 2:39Speaker 1: But Fetterman was on, and Fetterman just came right out
- 2:46Speaker 1: and said it. The Democratic Party has no leader. There's
- 2:48Speaker 1: nobody in charge. It's just that old inmates running the
- 2:52Speaker 1: asylum kind of situation. Nobody's in charge. There's no leader. Now, normally,
- 2:57Speaker 1: if you're the Senate leader Schumer, you might be the leader.
- 3:01Speaker 1: But he's again an outcast right now. They want him gone.
- 3:05Speaker 1: They don't even want him to finish this term. They
- 3:06Speaker 1: want him to step down now. Hakeem Jefferies House leader
- 3:13Speaker 1: might be the leader, but he just talks like a robot.
- 3:16Speaker 1: He just talks like this all the time. He's just
- 3:18Speaker 1: something's wrong with the guy. He's very robotic. And I
- 3:20Speaker 1: don't have much to say about those individuals. And they're
- 3:23Speaker 1: going to have to explain themselves to their constituents and
- 3:26Speaker 1: to the American people. I certainly, and he you know,
- 3:30Speaker 1: Trump does those wonderful AI memes with the sombrero on
- 3:34Speaker 1: him and the Mexican music, and it works because he's
- 3:36Speaker 1: such a stiff. So he's no leader. Who's the leader
- 3:40Speaker 1: of the party as far as twenty twenty eight? Who's
- 3:43Speaker 1: the candidate? Do well? It looks like Newsom's in the
- 3:47Speaker 1: lead right now, but he's no leader. He's more of
- 3:50Speaker 1: a he's just sort of a slick, fast talker. He's
- 3:53Speaker 1: like a fancy, fancy, upscale mom. Donnie may be the
- 3:59Speaker 1: lead twenty twenty eight right now, but he's no leader.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Normally the vice president would be the leader Mon Dale
- 4:06Speaker 1: at the time, or Al Gore or whoever. But Kamala
- 4:10Speaker 1: Harris just a goofball. She's certainly not the leader. So
- 4:13Speaker 1: it's just ruddless right now. And that's why the crazy
- 4:15Speaker 1: crazy left is running around trying to take control of
- 4:19Speaker 1: the party. Hey, speaking of crazy left, Jimmy Kimmel, all right,
- 4:23Speaker 1: we all know he's a crazy left winger, but we
- 4:27Speaker 1: didn't really know about Kimmel's wife till they did this podcast.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And I had no idea that Jimmy Kimmel's wife name
- 4:35Speaker 1: is Molly McNerney, McNerney, whatever her name is. I didn't
- 4:41Speaker 1: know this. She's the head writer of the show, and
- 4:43Speaker 1: she's the executive producer of the show. Well, that explains
- 4:48Speaker 1: a lot. You know, it's very, very tough to work
- 4:51Speaker 1: with your wife. It's really tough to work with your wife.
- 4:54Speaker 1: It's not easy to do. And it's really tough if
- 4:57Speaker 1: your wife runs your sh if she's the executive producer,
- 5:01Speaker 1: she's the head writer. You go back to very early
- 5:04Speaker 1: David Letterman was living. Girlfriend was Meryl what was a
- 5:08Speaker 1: named Meryl Marko. She was the head writer, but there
- 5:12Speaker 1: was someone else running things, an executive producer. So his
- 5:16Speaker 1: wife is the head writer and the executive producer, and
- 5:18Speaker 1: she's These are two completely nutty Trump to arrangement syndrome lunatics,
- 5:24Speaker 1: Kimmel and his wife. So on the podcast, she reveals
- 5:28Speaker 1: that there are many people in their family. They got
- 5:31Speaker 1: a big family, aunts, uncles, relatives, nieces, all sorts of stuff.
- 5:35Speaker 1: In laws. Some of them are Trump supporters and some
- 5:38Speaker 1: of them voted for Trump. So she says that she
- 5:40Speaker 1: got no big fight with all the family. She sent
- 5:43Speaker 1: them many, many emails right before the election. I'm begging you,
- 5:48Speaker 1: begging you not to vote for him. And she sent
- 5:51Speaker 1: an email to everybody. Here's ten reasons not to vote
- 5:54Speaker 1: for this guy, Please don't. And she was very upset.
- 5:57Speaker 1: She said, I got ignored by ninety percent of them.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I got truly insane responses from a few. But this
- 6:06Speaker 1: is the problem with these Trumps arrangements syndrome lunatics. They
- 6:08Speaker 1: don't realize they're the ones. They're the ones that are
- 6:12Speaker 1: completely insane. It's insane hatred of Trump. If you don't
- 6:16Speaker 1: like them, don't vote for him, but don't worry about it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I don't like Chuck Schumer, but I don't run around
- 6:24Speaker 1: yelling and screaming about it. And I don't get in
- 6:26Speaker 1: a fight with somebody that's voting for him. Who cares.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I mean, this Trump derangement syndrome is insane. And the
- 6:33Speaker 1: idea of this woman that she'll tell you who to
- 6:36Speaker 1: vote for. You must listen to her. You cannot do
- 6:39Speaker 1: what you want. And then she goes ah. It hurts
- 6:42Speaker 1: me so much because of the personal relationships I don't have,
- 6:45Speaker 1: where my husband is out there fighting this man. He
- 6:48Speaker 1: is fighting this man. You it's supposed to be a
- 6:51Speaker 1: late night show. You're supposed to be a comedian. You're
- 6:52Speaker 1: supposed to come out and make people laugh. And make jokes.
- 6:55Speaker 1: You're not there to fight this man. He's fighting this
- 6:58Speaker 1: man into me. Voting for Trump is not voting for
- 7:02Speaker 1: my husband, not voting for me and our family, And
- 7:08Speaker 1: unfortunately I've kind of lost relationships with people in my
- 7:11Speaker 1: family because of it. Well you really, if the family
- 7:15Speaker 1: is listening, take this woman to a mental institution, get
- 7:18Speaker 1: power of attorney for her, get her in a straight jacket.
- 7:24Speaker 1: That's insane. You know, if I run into crazy left
- 7:30Speaker 1: wing MSNBC host, we're very cordial. Hey, how are you.
- 7:34Speaker 1: How's it going? You know, we're I don't start yelling
- 7:37Speaker 1: and screaming at them. And you may not know this,
- 7:40Speaker 1: but off the air they don't start yelling and screaming either.
- 7:43Speaker 1: It's actually pretty friendly off the air affect. A lot
- 7:47Speaker 1: of them aren't that left wing. They just pretend to
- 7:50Speaker 1: be on TV. But again, if somebody hates Trump, good
- 7:56Speaker 1: knock yourself out. But I have to sit there and
- 7:59Speaker 1: argue with them all day. Speaking of MSNBC, what's today, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,
- 8:07Speaker 1: and then that's it. After today, there's only three more
- 8:09Speaker 1: days of MSNBC and then it's gone. It becomes ms Now,
- 8:16Speaker 1: it'll be a whole new network. Now it'll look the same,
- 8:18Speaker 1: they'll have the same anchors and all this, but they're
- 8:20Speaker 1: moving to a cheaper, junkier studio, a little cheap, smaller studio.
- 8:24Speaker 1: They're gonna lose the logo, the MSNBC name. They're gonna
- 8:28Speaker 1: call it MS now. And they also lose NBC News.
- 8:33Speaker 1: They won't have those an those reporters to go to
- 8:36Speaker 1: and those correspondents in the field. But you can make
- 8:39Speaker 1: a deal with a network too, you know, I think
- 8:42Speaker 1: we do that. We have NBC News and ABC News.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You can make a deal to use their resources and
- 8:47Speaker 1: their you know, their correspondence. So they'll probably do that,
- 8:53Speaker 1: but they will no longer be associated with NBC. They've
- 8:56Speaker 1: been tossed out a Rockefeller Center. They will operate out
- 9:00Speaker 1: of this little studio in Times Square forty third Street
- 9:03Speaker 1: while they look for permanent headquarters. But we'll see they're
- 9:08Speaker 1: very worried about you know, it could be a problem.
- 9:10Speaker 1: You're saying, well, it's going to be the same people,
- 9:12Speaker 1: just different name, different logo, different You never know. Sometimes
- 9:16Speaker 1: you do a little thing like change the logo and
- 9:18Speaker 1: it screws up the whole thing. Look at Cracker barely.
- 9:21Speaker 1: They just changed the logo and all hell broke loose
- 9:23Speaker 1: and the stock dropped in half and people stop going.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You never know, changing the logo, rebranding, it can be very,
- 9:31Speaker 1: very very tricky. Speaking of Rockefeller Center, the Christmas tree
- 9:35Speaker 1: is there, it's up, it's covered with scaffolding right now
- 9:38Speaker 1: as they put all the lights on and all that stuff.
- 9:42Speaker 1: There are people that say they start Christmas too early
- 9:46Speaker 1: every year, you know, like it's almost like not even Halloween,
- 9:49Speaker 1: and they're selling Christmas stuff in the stores. And over
- 9:53Speaker 1: there up on top of Radio City, they got the
- 9:55Speaker 1: Christmas tree up already on the marquee, that Christmas tree
- 9:58Speaker 1: that lights up above it. So there's one complex down
- 10:03Speaker 1: in Florida, Bell four Betty Communities. This is like an
- 10:08Speaker 1: old older folks community down in Florida. And you know
- 10:12Speaker 1: these condo communities, these kind of places, they make these
- 10:15Speaker 1: regulations and they can be a little strict. But some
- 10:19Speaker 1: people were putting up Christmas lights early, and this community
- 10:23Speaker 1: sent a message to everybody, no Christmas decorations are allowed yet,
- 10:27Speaker 1: you have to wait till after Thanksgiving. You have to
- 10:30Speaker 1: wait till the Christmas season begins. I don't know that
- 10:33Speaker 1: may not be a bad rule, like no one's allowed
- 10:35Speaker 1: to put up any Christmas stuff till after Thanksgiving. Residents
- 10:41Speaker 1: apparently went along with it. The memo to all the
- 10:46Speaker 1: residents said, one holiday at a time, one holiday at
- 10:49Speaker 1: a time, nothing, no Christmas anything until Thanksgiving was over. Okay,
- 10:53Speaker 1: not a bad rule. I kind of like it. Hey,
- 10:57Speaker 1: the BBC. You know, here in the United States, we
- 11:03Speaker 1: saw a slanted partisan news MSNBC all that kind of stuff,
- 11:07Speaker 1: and CNN got very partisan. But then you saw what
- 11:13Speaker 1: were considered the most prestigious news organizations go totally corrupt.
- 11:17Speaker 1: The New York Times, NBC, ABC, CBS totally corrupt, slanted, biased,
- 11:25Speaker 1: lots of fake news, literally fake news, things that weren't
- 11:28Speaker 1: true coming out. I could read you a whole list
- 11:30Speaker 1: of absolute nonsense. They made up about Trump and pushed
- 11:34Speaker 1: the Russia hoaks a big example. But it happened in England.
- 11:37Speaker 1: The BBC went totally corrupt. Sixty minutes totally corrupt. You know,
- 11:42Speaker 1: the Kamala Harris interview. They doctored up the video to
- 11:46Speaker 1: give you a completely different impression instead of what actually happened.
- 11:52Speaker 1: When Trump was talking about the surveillance on his campaign
- 11:54Speaker 1: in that famous interview with Leslie Stall. They actually lied
- 11:59Speaker 1: to the viewers. They said there were there no surveillance.
- 12:00Speaker 1: It never happened. Well, of course Trump was right, but
- 12:03Speaker 1: it's happened with the BBC. They've been caught in total corruption.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Believe it or not. They're still focused on January sixth.
- 12:11Speaker 1: They did a documentary on January sixth and they literally
- 12:15Speaker 1: doctored up what the President said that day. President Trump,
- 12:20Speaker 1: as you know, he said, we're going to march to
- 12:22Speaker 1: the Capitol right now, and we're going to protest peacefully
- 12:25Speaker 1: and patriotically, and so we said all the right stuff,
- 12:30Speaker 1: but they doctored up the video. They literally edited it,
- 12:33Speaker 1: chopped it up, so he said something totally different. So
- 12:36Speaker 1: if you're watching the documentary, he said, we're going to
- 12:38Speaker 1: march to the Capitol, I'm gonna go with you. We're
- 12:40Speaker 1: gonna fight, We're gonna fight like hell. Well that's not
- 12:42Speaker 1: what he said. It was completely doctored, completely falsified. They
- 12:47Speaker 1: got caught. It's been a big scandal in England. The
- 12:51Speaker 1: BBC Director General had to resign over it. The BBC
- 12:55Speaker 1: News chief had to resign over it. A lot of
- 12:58Speaker 1: executives had to quit over it. It's a major scandal.
- 13:02Speaker 1: President Trump says he may sue the BBC. Remember, he
- 13:05Speaker 1: got a lot of money. He got about fifteen million
- 13:07Speaker 1: out of ABC News when they lied about him. He
- 13:10Speaker 1: got but I think it was fifteen million plus. It
- 13:13Speaker 1: was a total of about thirty million from CBS when
- 13:16Speaker 1: sixty minutes lied about Kamala Harris. And I'm missing another one.
- 13:21Speaker 1: There's another lawsuit or two there where he's made some
- 13:24Speaker 1: money like that, I think the settlements. So he's up
- 13:27Speaker 1: to like forty fifty million in settlements now. He said
- 13:31Speaker 1: he might sue the BBC. The problem is it's really
- 13:34Speaker 1: tough to sue overseas. It's very difficult to do it
- 13:37Speaker 1: from another country. Now the British Prime Minister expect him
- 13:41Speaker 1: to get involved in this. He may even jump in
- 13:45Speaker 1: and try to settle something. BBC is controlled by the government,
- 13:48Speaker 1: so look for that to happen. Hey, we'll take some
- 13:51Speaker 1: calls in a minute. Oh hey, I wanted to mention
- 13:53Speaker 1: you know our great friend Nelson de Mill, the great
- 13:56Speaker 1: author Nelson to Mill, who used to have on the
- 13:58Speaker 1: show all the time. You know, he passed away last year,
- 14:02Speaker 1: but his son Alex de Mill is continuing the series
- 14:06Speaker 1: the Great best Selling Novels. And if you're an Oyster
- 14:09Speaker 1: Bay tonight Alex de Mill it's actually the last book
- 14:14Speaker 1: he did with his father, Nelson Demill. There'll be at
- 14:16Speaker 1: Theodore Books tonight Alex de Mill seven o'clock book signing
- 14:20Speaker 1: if you want to meet him. That's a beautiful There's
- 14:23Speaker 1: not a lot of great bookstores anymore. But in beautiful
- 14:25Speaker 1: Oyster Bay, where you've got Cooper Bluff, you got Wild Honey,
- 14:29Speaker 1: you got all these great places. You got Theodore Roosevelt's House,
- 14:33Speaker 1: one of the last great bookstores, Theodore's Books. But tonight
- 14:35Speaker 1: at seven, if you want to see Alex de Mill,
- 14:37Speaker 1: he'll be there. We'll take some calls. Next eight hundred
- 14:41Speaker 1: three to two one zero seven ten is the number
- 14:44Speaker 1: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. If you're
- 14:48Speaker 1: listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save time and
- 14:51Speaker 1: tap the preset button.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Now.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simon Show on woor Hey,
- 14:58Speaker 1: let's take some calls. Let's go to Pam in New Jersey. Pam,
- 15:02Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got a funny story about Trump thing sitting
- 15:07Speaker 3: room in a grocery store. Hey, the garbage bags and
- 15:10Speaker 3: a woman strikes up.
- 15:11Speaker 1: You better calls back here. It's not you. Your line
- 15:14Speaker 1: is all screwed up. There not your fault. Let's go
- 15:16Speaker 1: to Nolan in New Jersey. Nolan, how you're doing?
- 15:19Speaker 4: Hey, good morning, Mark. I googled the vote totals in
- 15:22Speaker 4: New Jersey. It seems that Mikey Sheryl got one point
- 15:25Speaker 4: eight million votes. That's five hundred thousand more votes than
- 15:29Speaker 4: Phil Murphy got in twenty one.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Highest vote total ever at the time for a governor's race.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Does this seem plausible to you?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah? Absolutely. You know, a Democrat should hire Jack Chitdarelli
- 15:39Speaker 1: just to run against them all the time. He's so
- 15:41Speaker 1: easy to beat. And there's something wrong with Chittarelli. I'm
- 15:46Speaker 1: sure he's a nice guy.
- 15:47Speaker 3: He just.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, something about the way
- 15:51Speaker 1: he looks. He just looks like and he's got that
- 15:55Speaker 1: shifty kind of salesman look to I don't know, just
- 15:57Speaker 1: but again, he's the best thing that ever happened to Democrats.
- 16:00Speaker 1: It just beat him every time. Let's go to Steve
- 16:02Speaker 1: in Manhattan and Steve, how you doing all right?
- 16:06Speaker 5: Mark?
- 16:06Speaker 3: And it's time we get rid of the nineteenth Oh.
- 16:08Speaker 1: It's a Buchanan guy. Let's go to uh Rich in
- 16:11Speaker 1: Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing. Wait a minute, Hang
- 16:15Speaker 1: on a minute, right there you are? Go ahead, yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 16:18Speaker 3: That Buchanan guy. He's pretty funny. You know, you talked
- 16:22Speaker 3: about the gas price, the two quick points. You know,
- 16:24Speaker 3: it's always bounced between two sixty nine and two eighty nine.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Here in Myrtle Beach, it was two forty five yesterday
- 16:30Speaker 3: and the very next day this morning, it's right back
- 16:32Speaker 3: up to two eighty nine. He sings, bounce up twenty
- 16:35Speaker 3: to forty to sometimes fifty cents in a matter of
- 16:38Speaker 3: twenty four hours. And then remember during the State of
- 16:41Speaker 3: Union when it was Obama was talking about Obamacare and
- 16:43Speaker 3: the guy from South Carolina called out and said, you're
- 16:46Speaker 3: a liar, the guy who was one thousand percent right.
- 16:48Speaker 3: We knew Obama was lying. By a time. It was
- 16:51Speaker 3: a fifteen hundred and fifteen thousand page document. Nobody they
- 16:55Speaker 3: all those Democrats passed word out of her, reading a
- 16:58Speaker 3: single word of it. And I was living in the
- 17:00Speaker 3: Awk at the time, you know, I called up Schumer's
- 17:02Speaker 3: office said did he lead this? And of course, I'd
- 17:04Speaker 3: telling me, yes, he read every single word. Nobody read
- 17:06Speaker 3: that and everything we said was true, like being called
- 17:09Speaker 3: a conspiracy theorist. We're right again, you know.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Yeah. I've asked all these congressmen, especially the x ones,
- 17:16Speaker 1: off the record, did you ever actually read the bill?
- 17:19Speaker 1: You know, these bills are like three thousand pages. Nobody's
- 17:21Speaker 1: going to read them. So apparently when it's time to vote,
- 17:27Speaker 1: they all look to somebody that's different in each case,
- 17:30Speaker 1: but whoever that's somebody is They look over and he
- 17:32Speaker 1: either gives them a thumbs up or a thumbs down,
- 17:34Speaker 1: like vote for this bill. Ed Kotch used to tell
- 17:38Speaker 1: the story about there there was one guy he trusted,
- 17:40Speaker 1: senior guy. You look over, and the guy gave him
- 17:42Speaker 1: a thumbs up, and Kotch voted yes on It turned
- 17:46Speaker 1: out to be the worst thing in the world. And
- 17:48Speaker 1: he later said to the why did you tell me
- 17:50Speaker 1: to vote for it? He says, ed, you can always
- 17:53Speaker 1: trust me, but not on oil. It was some kind
- 17:57Speaker 1: of oil bill that was going to help his constituent.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Go to Vincent and Brooklyn, Vincent, how you doing.
- 18:03Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark, good morning Marra, And I'd like to
- 18:05Speaker 5: give say thanks to all our veterans past and present
- 18:09Speaker 5: who laid down their lives for our great country. Mark.
- 18:13Speaker 5: I really hope Jessica Tish just stays until the end
- 18:19Speaker 5: of the year and does not become part of the
- 18:22Speaker 5: Mondamie administration. And this is why I say that. I
- 18:26Speaker 5: think she's absolutely great, and I think she would make
- 18:30Speaker 5: a great mayor in the future. And I say this
- 18:34Speaker 5: because Mandami is an anti semi to the Corps. I
- 18:40Speaker 5: never believe these people when after they say something disgusting
- 18:45Speaker 5: or something controversial, two days later they try and walk
- 18:49Speaker 5: it back. That is a bunch of bs. As far
- 18:52Speaker 5: as I'm concerned. What you originally said is what you
- 18:56Speaker 5: originally meant, and I've believed that all these years of
- 19:00Speaker 5: my instincts are right. Let me tell you a little
- 19:03Speaker 5: brief story. Before I went to Italy recently. My girlfriend
- 19:09Speaker 5: orders all gets all my tickets, and I don't do
- 19:11Speaker 5: any of that stuff, all right. I could have flown
- 19:15Speaker 5: to Italy on Arab Emirates, paid three hundred dollars less,
- 19:21Speaker 5: probably got a better seat and a better meal, and
- 19:24Speaker 5: I absolutely refused to do it because I don't believe
- 19:29Speaker 5: in the values of any of those Arabic countries because
- 19:34Speaker 5: the way they treat women, the way they treat gays.
- 19:38Speaker 5: And also you try and find a synagogue or a
- 19:42Speaker 5: Catholic church in any of those countries and you would
- 19:47Speaker 5: be at a loss. Mandami is a snake oil salesman
- 19:52Speaker 5: and he is an anti Semite. And please, Jessica, don't
- 19:57Speaker 5: do it. For the sake of your people. Follow Richard
- 20:00Speaker 5: Tucker's leaves. Don't leave now, do not become part of
- 20:05Speaker 5: that toxic administration.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You mean Robert Tucker.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Robert Tucker, excuse me, mother, He's.
- 20:11Speaker 1: A fire commissioner.
- 20:12Speaker 5: He quit, he just stepped in exactly.
- 20:14Speaker 1: But you know, you know he's his father was the
- 20:16Speaker 1: great opera singer Richard.
- 20:18Speaker 5: Tucker Wonder, a phenomenal singer, a phenomenal singer. So why
- 20:24Speaker 5: why would you want to sully up your family's name
- 20:28Speaker 5: being associated with a biggot, a racist Mandami's.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Mother, Well, what about the Curtis theory, don't run, stay
- 20:36Speaker 1: and fight, improve don't move. What about Curtis's theory?
- 20:40Speaker 5: Well, Curtis's all right, he wants to stay, he wants
- 20:43Speaker 5: to fight, he wants to Okay, fine, you know, in
- 20:46Speaker 5: his own small way, he could do that, and I
- 20:51Speaker 5: think Jessica tish she could be mad and even go
- 20:56Speaker 5: much higher because she has the right stuff. You don't
- 21:00Speaker 5: need the money, dear, I didn't need the three hundred dollars.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Good point, Vincent, excellent call, thanks for calling.
- 21:08Speaker 5: Hey.
- 21:09Speaker 1: When we come back, Howie Carr will be with us.
- 21:11Speaker 1: We'll get some advice from him, what to do about mom,
- 21:14Speaker 1: Donnie and more coming up on seven to ten w
- 21:16Speaker 1: R Mark Simone Show continues, Well, Howie Carr one of
- 21:24Speaker 1: the great talk show hosts in the world. You can
- 21:26Speaker 1: hear him on iHeart just use the iHeart app, or
- 21:29Speaker 1: you can get his podcast. You can hear his radio
- 21:31Speaker 1: show live that way. You can also go to Howie
- 21:34Speaker 1: Carshow dot com and get his great best selling books,
- 21:38Speaker 1: the latest book Mass Corruption. You can get that and
- 21:41Speaker 1: his column. Everything's at Howie Carshow dot com. Howie Carr,
- 21:45Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Very good? Mark, very good. It's us.
- 21:50Speaker 6: It's a fun time, happy veteran state. Everybody out there.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah. The shutdown, I think we've been through fourteen of them.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Has anything ever accomplished ever by any shutdown by any party?
- 22:04Speaker 4: No?
- 22:04Speaker 2: It it just uh.
- 22:07Speaker 6: I think in this case, it just shows how how
- 22:09Speaker 6: corrupt the Snap program was, you know the fact that,
- 22:14Speaker 6: you know, one of my listeners said yesterday, you know,
- 22:17Speaker 6: the Democrats don't control the mainstream media anymore than the
- 22:20Speaker 6: one pays any attention to it. So the problem this
- 22:25Speaker 6: time they had was that all there, all these Snap
- 22:28Speaker 6: recipients with pink hair and purple hair and weighing three
- 22:31Speaker 6: hundred pounds and nose rings and tattoos. They were all
- 22:34Speaker 6: out on social media posting how angry they were, and
- 22:37Speaker 6: it was easy to round up the stuff. So, I mean,
- 22:40Speaker 6: I thought it was pretty devastating for their for their
- 22:44Speaker 6: their position. You know, oh, I can't afford how can
- 22:49Speaker 6: I afford to feed my my six kids? I will
- 22:51Speaker 6: be able to buy a tattoo. I well, you know,
- 22:54Speaker 6: and these people loading the guy yesterday, I've been using
- 22:57Speaker 6: them a lot on my show and not Instagram tiktoks
- 23:02Speaker 6: on He had a guy yesterday he said, I was
- 23:04Speaker 6: gonna have to dip into my Christmas money. Thank goodness,
- 23:07Speaker 6: the Snap payments resumed. He was loading like five cases
- 23:11Speaker 6: of soda into the back of his suv and it
- 23:14Speaker 6: looked like a nice suv. Though, you know, I think
- 23:17Speaker 6: it's it's kind of a reminder to people, you know,
- 23:20Speaker 6: the I guess if you go to the supermarket a lot,
- 23:23Speaker 6: you see it, you know, but some people don't or
- 23:26Speaker 6: they or they just you know, keep the blinders on
- 23:28Speaker 6: and don't don't worry about it. But I don't know,
- 23:31Speaker 6: I don't think this was you know, the more I
- 23:33Speaker 6: think about the elections last Tuesday, you know, the Democrats
- 23:35Speaker 6: were going to probably win Virginia and New Jersey anyway,
- 23:40Speaker 6: and New York was just Democrats against Democrats.
- 23:43Speaker 2: So was it that bad? I don't I don't think
- 23:46Speaker 2: it really was.
- 23:47Speaker 1: No, But the idea snap, you have forty two million
- 23:52Speaker 1: people on that program. That's a ridiculous number.
- 23:55Speaker 6: It's up forty percent since Biden became president. I mean
- 23:59Speaker 6: he you know, a lot of it had to do
- 24:02Speaker 6: with COVID.
- 24:02Speaker 2: You know, they were just getting first, they were jacked up.
- 24:05Speaker 6: They jacked up all the monthly, allot months, and then
- 24:08Speaker 6: they then they let you claim that if you that
- 24:10Speaker 6: you weren't quote unquote working, so you got it. So
- 24:12Speaker 6: at these people go back to work or they decide
- 24:14Speaker 6: to work under the table, and they keep getting the money.
- 24:17Speaker 6: I saw Brooke Rollins, the Secretary of Agriculture, said, it's
- 24:21Speaker 6: gone from I think got twenty billion in twenty twenty,
- 24:26Speaker 6: in twenty two thousand, year two thousand to now it's
- 24:29Speaker 6: one hundred billion. Yeah, that's a little above the rate
- 24:32Speaker 6: of inflation.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Hey, the Trump arrangement syndrome. You've been following this story
- 24:39Speaker 1: at Jimmy Kimmel's wife, who, yeah, went ballistic screaming at
- 24:44Speaker 1: family members. Don't how dare you vote for President Trump?
- 24:47Speaker 1: My husband is fighting him and you're voting. Isn't her
- 24:50Speaker 1: husband supposed to just be doing a comedy show. How
- 24:52Speaker 1: do they get themselves so worked up?
- 24:56Speaker 6: It's you know, it's it's a cult. You know, the
- 25:01Speaker 6: Democrat Party has become a cult, and you know you're
- 25:04Speaker 6: a trumped. Arrangement syndrome is some kind of fashion accessory,
- 25:07Speaker 6: like the pink the purple hair.
- 25:10Speaker 2: You know.
- 25:11Speaker 6: Did you see the guy in Chicago, Raymond Lopez, the
- 25:14Speaker 6: Alderman you know too. He represents a Hispanic district. I
- 25:17Speaker 6: think it's back of the yards and he so two
- 25:21Speaker 6: of his constituents were killed, a jeweler and his son.
- 25:24Speaker 6: They tried to stop a guy from stealing a necklace
- 25:28Speaker 6: and the guy shot shot both these guys. You know,
- 25:31Speaker 6: just kill them for over a gold necklace. And Lopez
- 25:34Speaker 6: put out, he said, hey, you know all your pain,
- 25:37Speaker 6: where are all the pink and purple haired ladies coming
- 25:40Speaker 6: out to demonstrate against this guy?
- 25:42Speaker 2: My constituent's getting killed. I thought it was beautiful.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but this Trump arrangement syndrome, you know the guy?
- 25:49Speaker 1: What is it about this guy that said him up?
- 25:51Speaker 1: Is it that he's everything that tried to stamp out
- 25:54Speaker 1: like the old fashioned nineteen fifties macho American kind of
- 25:58Speaker 1: a five.
- 25:59Speaker 2: I think that is a lot to do with it,
- 26:01Speaker 2: you know.
- 26:01Speaker 6: I mean, I think people from the Northeast especially, you know,
- 26:04Speaker 6: kind of kind of relate to the guy because he's
- 26:06Speaker 6: he's he's like he's like one of us, you know,
- 26:09Speaker 6: and that's that's what that's his whole strength. And actually
- 26:13Speaker 6: in all of Middle America, not just the Northeast, and
- 26:16Speaker 6: these people just think they're they're beyond all that. We
- 26:19Speaker 6: have this judge in Boston. His name was Mark Wolfe,
- 26:24Speaker 6: and he just he was a retired he's seventy eight,
- 26:26Speaker 6: he's a senior status and he retired in a big
- 26:30Speaker 6: huff and had a big piece in the Atlantic the
- 26:33Speaker 6: other day about how I am. I can't take working
- 26:38Speaker 6: for trumpety more and I can't speak out. Yeah, I mean,
- 26:40Speaker 6: the guy is insane. He's just he's got trumped arrangement syndrome.
- 26:44Speaker 6: Mark I was forced to put out something from a
- 26:47Speaker 6: from an FBI file from nineteen eighty three when he
- 26:51Speaker 6: was leaking information to the to the mafia about the
- 26:56Speaker 6: weather Hill Gang, and he didn't know, he was just
- 26:58Speaker 6: trying to brag. It was what Jerry and Julie used
- 27:01Speaker 6: to call an unconscious stool pigeon. And he would talk
- 27:04Speaker 6: to these guys and they'd run back. And so he's
- 27:06Speaker 6: now he's making himself out like he's this hero prosecutor.
- 27:09Speaker 6: And he was, and he was, as Jerry and Julia
- 27:12Speaker 6: used to say, an unconscious stool pigeon.
- 27:14Speaker 2: And I got it all. I tweeted.
- 27:16Speaker 6: I tweeted out the whole thing yesterday, the FBI file
- 27:19Speaker 6: on this guy.
- 27:20Speaker 2: And he's just a he's just such a But.
- 27:23Speaker 6: He said all these judges are crazy, you know the
- 27:25Speaker 6: you know the the joke about judges.
- 27:27Speaker 2: What's the difference between a federal judge and God?
- 27:30Speaker 1: What?
- 27:31Speaker 6: God doesn't think he's a federal judge.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Uh, make sure you follow how we car on Twitter.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Great stuff there. Uh, you're in Boston. You got a
- 27:40Speaker 1: crazy left wing kook of a mayor's socialist contrade. So
- 27:44Speaker 1: give us some advice. How are we going to get
- 27:47Speaker 1: through this?
- 27:49Speaker 2: Call the moving van. That's what he's doing in Boston.
- 27:53Speaker 6: And if you got any real estate, especially commercial real estate,
- 27:57Speaker 6: sell you know, even to take a loss because you
- 28:00Speaker 6: know whatever loss you take today is going to be
- 28:02Speaker 6: worse tomorrow. And I think Nani is worse than than
- 28:07Speaker 6: Michelle Wou.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I really do. I mean this guy, I there's just
- 28:12Speaker 2: there's there's not going to be any rains on him.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I don't think is there.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Well, everybody's appointed this from the Deblasio administration. So we
- 28:20Speaker 1: got through Deblasia. It wasn't good, but we got through
- 28:22Speaker 1: eight years of him. We'll get through that. Well, you're
- 28:24Speaker 1: laughing at me. We'll get through this?
- 28:26Speaker 6: Well we no, Yeah, but I mean, you know de
- 28:31Speaker 6: Blasio was insane, but you know he was you know,
- 28:34Speaker 6: there were there were some checks and balances on There
- 28:37Speaker 6: are there any checks and balances on this guy? Is
- 28:39Speaker 6: there is there anybody left on the city council who's
- 28:41Speaker 6: going to stand up to him?
- 28:42Speaker 3: No?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Actually, they just voted in a lot more woke idiots
- 28:45Speaker 1: on the city council, That's right.
- 28:46Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, so Barelli's gone.
- 28:49Speaker 5: He was, he was.
- 28:50Speaker 6: You know, I don't know how much you can do,
- 28:52Speaker 6: you know, one out of fifty for fifty five. But
- 28:55Speaker 6: I mean at least he was out there to you know,
- 28:57Speaker 6: you know, beat the drums again them. I mean, who's
- 29:00Speaker 6: going to do that?
- 29:01Speaker 5: Now?
- 29:01Speaker 2: That's the problem A get in Boston.
- 29:03Speaker 6: We're down to like two people out of thirteen on
- 29:06Speaker 6: the city council who you know, will say it, will
- 29:09Speaker 6: you know, speak speak out?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Okay, But you still live and work in Boston. It's okay, right,
- 29:14Speaker 1: I mean you're still there.
- 29:17Speaker 6: Well, I'm there for five months and twenty nine days.
- 29:20Speaker 6: I'm in Florida for the other the six months.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Today.
- 29:25Speaker 1: If I went to Boston right now and walking around,
- 29:27Speaker 1: it seems fine, doesn't it.
- 29:30Speaker 6: Yeah, it's I mean, it's it's it's just not what
- 29:33Speaker 6: it used to be. I mean, the restaurants there, I mean,
- 29:36Speaker 6: it's it's you know, it's like it's like they said,
- 29:39Speaker 6: I think it was Hemingway said about going bankrupt first
- 29:42Speaker 6: gradually then suddenly you know you'll notice you'll notice restaurants.
- 29:47Speaker 6: You know, like the marginal restaurants will will go and
- 29:50Speaker 6: and you know, the marginal neighborhoods will start to slip,
- 29:53Speaker 6: and you know it won't be you won't notice it
- 29:55Speaker 6: on you know, Park Avenue or something for I don't
- 29:58Speaker 6: think for a while. But it's I mean, who's who's
- 30:02Speaker 6: left in the middle class. I mean, you know, the
- 30:05Speaker 6: how many far rockaway neighborhoods.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Are left in New York City?
- 30:08Speaker 1: Mark, Well, you're right, not a lot, but well thanks
- 30:12Speaker 1: for sharing us up.
- 30:15Speaker 6: Wait, I go through the same thing in Boston. Now
- 30:18Speaker 6: we have like two hundred and fifty precincts and like
- 30:20Speaker 6: maybe fifty of them are still you know, majority normal Americans.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Oh all right, this is getting very depressive.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Mark.
- 30:29Speaker 1: All right. Well, hey, everybody get Howie Carr's latest book,
- 30:32Speaker 1: Mass Corruption, another great book, bestseller, Mass Corruption. You can

- 30:45Speaker 2: the Twitter too, and see this. See what this is?
- 30:47Speaker 6: This idiot judge who's now you know, living off of
- 30:50Speaker 6: his Trump arrangement syndrome.
- 30:52Speaker 2: See what he was doing in the nineteen eighties.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah, make sure you follow how we Car on Twitter,
- 30:56Speaker 1: How we Car on Twitter, how he Carr. Thanks for

- 31:33Speaker 1: something else. Okay, all right, but remember Rudy Giuliani is
- 31:39Speaker 1: the world expert on how to be mayor of New
- 31:42Speaker 1: York City. Nobody better than him. Anyway. Hey, there forget
