- 0:00Speaker 1: Time for stacks and hacks.
- 0:01Speaker 2: I have stacks of information, riches, life hacks.
- 0:04Speaker 1: My information is random information.
- 0:05Speaker 2: But you know what, July is National grilling month, and
- 0:08Speaker 2: you probably think grilling is done forth to July, but
- 0:10Speaker 2: people still grill. We grilled the other day. And there's rules.
- 0:14Speaker 2: The biggest grilling sins. I have the top five grilling
- 0:19Speaker 2: sins and drilling sins sins, and I do number five.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Pressing down on a burger with a spatula. I do
- 0:26Speaker 2: it all the time.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Doesn't everybody do that?
- 0:28Speaker 4: I think that it like takes out the flavor and
- 0:30Speaker 4: the juice.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, if you get a smash burger, you need
- 0:33Speaker 3: to do it on a like a like a frying surface,
- 0:36Speaker 3: not like a grill on the back seat.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Back seat grilling like being a bacsheat driver, someone who's
- 0:40Speaker 2: hanging out in the background, with plenty the opinions of
- 0:42Speaker 2: what the griller should be doing, opening the lid unnecessarily,
- 0:45Speaker 2: not allowing the meat to rest before serving, and number
- 0:48Speaker 2: one grilling sin touching another person's grill without permission.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Never do that.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Grilling reminds me of that bad Boy scene Where's the
- 0:58Speaker 4: sun in Law? And it's smart Lawrence and Will Smith
- 1:01Speaker 4: and they're at the party and they're all pissed off
- 1:02Speaker 4: at him for trying to grill.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And watch their oh man, oh man, you wish bad boys.
- 1:15Speaker 2: A new survey says more than half of Americans think
- 1:18Speaker 2: keeping up their online presence feels more like work than fun.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Most people are posting a lot less than they used to.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I would agree with that for most people. I think
- 1:27Speaker 2: we're doing it a lot. Have you guys seen the
- 1:29Speaker 2: Zarro's new floey leg pants on the past?
- 1:32Speaker 4: No?
- 1:33Speaker 2: I guess they got these new pants that are wide
- 1:35Speaker 2: leg pants and women keep face planting in them. There's
- 1:38Speaker 2: a hashtag on TikTok to vote to people complaining about
- 1:41Speaker 2: it and showing their battle wounds.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I guess they're so long you step on on boom
- 1:45Speaker 1: fall over. I just saw hilarious reel. It was like,
- 1:47Speaker 1: where's Zarrow's designers? We designed? We designed clothes for body
- 1:52Speaker 1: types that don't exist.
- 1:56Speaker 2: If you sit with your legs crossed, and I see
- 1:58Speaker 2: Coyle sometimes does that when she sits in this chair
- 2:00Speaker 2: right here. If you sail your legs class, you might
- 2:02Speaker 2: not want to do it for long periods of time.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Physical therapists say that position isn't bad itself, but after
- 2:06Speaker 2: a while it can lead to muscle stiffness and aches
- 2:09Speaker 2: and pains. Caught some of legs white. Now all of
- 2:12Speaker 2: guards bringing back the never ending pasta pass first time
- 2:15Speaker 2: since twenty nineteen.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I love that thing. I love their pasta. How much
- 2:18Speaker 1: is the past now?
- 2:19Speaker 4: One hundred bucks?
- 2:20Speaker 1: You just go crazy for a year.
- 2:22Speaker 4: No, it's like for a couple of weeks, I think
- 2:24Speaker 4: six weeks, and then they only are selling like ten
- 2:26Speaker 4: thousand of them or something like that.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Payton, you talk about going to see movies, we're just adults,
- 2:31Speaker 2: like so you can see cartoons. Yeah, I guess there's
- 2:34Speaker 2: another vote for adults only flights. Someone online is venting
- 2:37Speaker 2: about being delayed an hour because a toddler refused to
- 2:40Speaker 2: sit in his seat. The tantrum was so intense the
- 2:43Speaker 2: family had to get off the plane.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that sucks those poor parents.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Forty percent of divorces nationwide now involved couples the age
- 2:52Speaker 2: of fifty and older. They're calling the couple. They're calling
- 2:56Speaker 2: the trend gray divorces and no regrets. Did you see
- 2:59Speaker 2: that comedian just got.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Fother for and his wife? They've been married like eighteen years. Yeah,
- 3:03Speaker 3: great podcast. I think it has to do some of
- 3:05Speaker 3: the dude got all in shape. Oh, he's like all
- 3:09Speaker 3: about health and fitness.
- 3:10Speaker 2: The United States spent thirty billion dollars to ditch textbooks
- 3:14Speaker 2: for laptops and tablets for our kids, and now kids
- 3:17Speaker 2: are less cognitively capable than their parents because.
- 3:20Speaker 1: They're not reading and not using books. They're using all
- 3:22Speaker 1: stuff online.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Adults who eat spicy foods six or seven days a
- 3:27Speaker 2: week have a fourteen percent lower risk of dying than
- 3:29Speaker 2: those who rarely eat spicy food. Spicy stuff is supposed
- 3:32Speaker 2: to be a reduced risk of death from cancer, heart,
- 3:36Speaker 2: and lung disease.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Think about the next time gets some hot sauce.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Someone is selling a bag of air on eBay that
- 3:43Speaker 2: claims it was collected at Taylor and Travis's wedding. Oh
- 3:45Speaker 2: my gosh, for fifty thousand dollars.
- 3:47Speaker 1: That's insane. I saw someone sold literal garbage.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Trash from outside Madison Square Garden was also for sale.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It's sold out. We bought the trash what.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Because the tailor may have touched it?
- 4:00Speaker 2: I get it and then real quick. The ideal movie length,
- 4:05Speaker 2: they say is eighty eight minutes long. The new Avengers
- 4:08Speaker 2: movies is coming out is almost three hours long.
- 4:09Speaker 4: It's too long.
- 4:10Speaker 1: It's too long.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Same thing that Odyssey's three hours. The ideal movie length
- 4:14Speaker 2: is eighty eight minutes long, according to new Survey. The
- 4:16Speaker 2: current movies that come close to that this summer Minions
- 4:19Speaker 2: and Monsters ninety minutes, Jackass Best and Last at ninety
- 4:23Speaker 2: two minutes, Toy Story five is one hundred and two minutes,
- 4:26Speaker 2: Super Girls one hundred and eight minutes, Moana is one fifteen,
- 4:29Speaker 2: Spider Man Brand New Days one hundred and fifty minutes,
- 4:32Speaker 2: and The Odyssey is one hundred and seventy two minutes.
- 4:34Speaker 1: That's all. That's too long. What do you have for
- 4:36Speaker 1: live package?
- 4:37Speaker 3: If you need to have an honest, open conversation with somebody,
- 4:42Speaker 3: skip a fancy dinner and grab a cup of coffee instead.
- 4:45Speaker 1: So this is kind of cool.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Research suggests that holding a warm drink like coffee, tea,
- 4:50Speaker 3: hot chocolate, whatever, it helps people feel more relaxed and
- 4:53Speaker 3: emotionally open. Now, it doesn't guarantee honesty, but it can
- 4:56Speaker 3: set the table for that. So that's why they say,
- 4:59Speaker 3: first date, go get a cup of coffee. It's the
- 5:01Speaker 3: right setting to get to know somebody with all the distractions,
- 5:04Speaker 3: and they feel a little more disarmed. So first date,
- 5:07Speaker 3: coffee date, really good plan, That life hack, and many
- 5:10Speaker 3: more are at john Jay and rich dot com.
