- 0:38Speaker 2: Hey, Greg.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Hey, Frank.
- 0:40Speaker 2: So, you know, today obviously ends up being a really
- 0:43Speaker 2: tough day. Lane Johnson, in my opinion, the best right
- 0:45Speaker 2: tackle to ever do it.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I agree. And I think he should be a first
- 0:49Speaker 3: ballot Hall of Famer without any question.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Without any question or doubt. And if that's not the case,
- 0:53Speaker 2: then there's something seriously wrong with that process. It is
- 0:56Speaker 2: time to get into the offense, Greg. And from what
- 0:58Speaker 2: I saw in the game. And again, there's a million
- 1:00Speaker 2: things broken here. I mean, we could cherry pick whatever
- 1:02Speaker 2: we want, but it looked like their slide protections in
- 1:05Speaker 2: terms of like how they were trying to handle the blitz.
- 1:08Speaker 2: And I don't know if that's Jalen Hurts. I don't
- 1:10Speaker 2: know if that's Drew Kendall. I don't know who is
- 1:12Speaker 2: really responsible for that. But it looked like more often
- 1:15Speaker 2: than not, they were just incorrect. and picking which way
- 1:18Speaker 2: to slide protections, and it just completely wrecked any type
- 1:22Speaker 2: of pass game that they even were trying to have.
- 1:24Speaker 2: So I wanted to just get your thoughts on if that,
- 1:27Speaker 2: if you even know who's responsible for that with them,
- 1:29Speaker 2: but more so is like, how can this be corrected? Like,
- 1:32Speaker 2: what's Chris Cooper doing to try to correct this? Is
- 1:35Speaker 2: there a fix or anything like that? Because, I mean,
- 1:37Speaker 2: it was really, really bad, I thought, on Sunday.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Well, here's what you don't know, and so I'm just
- 1:42Speaker 3: being honest. You don't know, number one, who's calling the protections.
- 1:47Speaker 3: whether it's the offensive center who's new or whether it's
- 1:50Speaker 3: Jalen Hurts. We don't know the answer to that question.
- 1:53Speaker 3: And so it's hard to know, quote unquote, who's at fault,
- 1:56Speaker 3: so to speak. But obviously in the NFL, there are
- 2:02Speaker 3: many teams that overload protections with more than a team
- 2:07Speaker 3: theoretically can block.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Based off of the routes and I guess the route
- 2:10Speaker 1: schemes that you're seeing, are there anticipation routes here, you know,
- 2:14Speaker 1: drawn up in this scheme?
- 2:16Speaker 3: But what do you mean by, I mean, I don't
- 2:18Speaker 3: know what you mean by anticipation routes.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So I guess as far as like, are there opportunities
- 2:23Speaker 1: for Hurst to hit guys within anticipation?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Sure.
- 2:26Speaker 3: That's built into every system. What did he get in
- 2:28Speaker 3: the first two weeks? That's part of the NFL. Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 3: That's built into every system. Then it's up to the
- 2:33Speaker 3: quarterback to make those throws. He missed one on the
- 2:36Speaker 3: first series to Wicks, which was basically a pitch and
- 2:39Speaker 3: catch throw. And that's one you got to hit.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Um, question I had, like this, this kind of looks
- 2:44Speaker 4: like the worst offensive line in the league right now.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Um, what's all they're playing.
- 2:48Speaker 4: And I mean, it's really hard to watch. And I
- 2:50Speaker 4: just wondered your opinion with watching film, if it doesn't stabilize,
- 2:53Speaker 4: are we looking like a 2012, 2020 type season for
- 2:57Speaker 4: the Eagles offensively?
- 2:59Speaker 3: Well, if your offensive line can't perform at some kind
- 3:02Speaker 3: of reasonable level, it's tough to run an offense. I mean,
- 3:04Speaker 3: that's not a profound statement. Believe me, you don't need
- 3:06Speaker 3: me to say that, you know, right. But obviously, if
- 3:10Speaker 3: the O-line does not perform, you're going to have a
- 3:13Speaker 3: really difficult time.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Hey, Greg.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Hey, Eddie.
- 3:16Speaker 5: So I was actually there, and there was this play.
- 3:20Speaker 5: And the end of the first quarter, they're at the
- 3:24Speaker 5: 45-yard line. And it was like a play action.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Is that an offensive play you're talking about?
- 3:32Speaker 5: Yeah, it's offensive play. Yeah, I believe it was first
- 3:35Speaker 5: and had been a 45.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Where was it in the game?
- 3:39Speaker 5: It was at the 53-second mark in the first quarter,
- 3:42Speaker 5: I believe. So what do you think was the place
- 3:46Speaker 5: to go?
- 3:46Speaker 3: I'm looking at the play now. I would look at
- 3:50Speaker 3: this play, and again, you don't know for sure. I
- 3:53Speaker 3: think that there's a screw-up here somewhere because he's booting
- 3:56Speaker 3: out to his right, okay? So two things normally happen
- 4:02Speaker 3: when you boot out to your right. Number one, everything
- 4:04Speaker 3: is working with you towards your boot. So there's, you know, crossers,
- 4:08Speaker 3: you know, everything's coming towards you or there's a throwback element.
- 4:13Speaker 3: And neither one of those things is happening here.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Greg, I'll probably shift it a little bit away because
- 4:18Speaker 6: I know kind of all of our questions are probably
- 4:20Speaker 6: pointed toward the offense and they're going to kind of
- 4:22Speaker 6: be the same. So I want to ask you something
- 4:26Speaker 6: about just more about the NFL and kind of what
- 4:28Speaker 6: you see kind of kind of prognosis, something for the future.
- 4:32Speaker 6: So I know you've talked a lot about a lot
- 4:34Speaker 6: of teams going to a lot of 12 and 13
- 4:36Speaker 6: personnel because it kind of makes the defense kind to
- 4:40Speaker 6: make them stay in base. And you can't do a
- 4:42Speaker 6: lot of different things because of having, you know, multiple
- 4:45Speaker 6: linebackers on the field. So my question is, is that
- 4:48Speaker 6: something that you foresee kind of going forward in the future?
- 4:51Speaker 6: And if it is something you foresee, do you see
- 4:55Speaker 6: the safety position kind of being more of a commodity
- 4:59Speaker 6: so people can play more big nickel defense?
- 5:01Speaker 3: Well, I think they should. And I think they should
- 5:03Speaker 3: study Brian Flores, who has the highest percentage of blitz
- 5:06Speaker 3: out of base defensive personnel in the league and does
- 5:09Speaker 3: a great job. And I think you're going to have
- 5:11Speaker 3: to start seeing that because the last thing you want
- 5:13Speaker 3: to do if teams are going to play in their
- 5:14Speaker 3: base offense with two tight ends or three tight ends
- 5:18Speaker 3: is feel like you can't pressure, feel like you have
- 5:20Speaker 3: to totally cut back on your pressure schemes and in
- 5:23Speaker 3: a sense, play kind of a default defense.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Hey, have you ever had an issue with like your
- 5:27Speaker 1: hot water heater bursting? I've had that happen at least,
- 5:31Speaker 1: three times in my basement, causing flooding, causing me to
- 5:35Speaker 1: miss work, causing me to deal with people in my
- 5:37Speaker 1: house trying to tell me how much I'm going to
- 5:39Speaker 1: have to pay. Then I have to replace the appliance.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Then I got to do research on what the best
- 5:44Speaker 1: appliance is to replace with. It is madness and can
- 5:48Speaker 1: be very, very frustrating. But Housecall Pro helps home service

- 8:25Speaker 3: My question is on Rick Wallen. I'm sorry if you
- 8:28Speaker 3: talked about it already.
- 8:29Speaker 4: How do you see him progressing?
- 8:31Speaker 3: Yeah, well, Wallen's issue, which he had in this past game,
- 8:34Speaker 3: and I'm not charting every single snap, Dan, so I'm
- 8:37Speaker 3: going to be honest with you. It's not like I'm
- 8:39Speaker 3: just watching him. I take a peek at him. But
- 8:43Speaker 3: one of the issues he had this week was an
- 8:44Speaker 3: issue that he's had in Seattle, which is one reason
- 8:47Speaker 3: why he lost his job in Seattle to Josh Jobe,
- 8:49Speaker 3: who was also in Philly. And Josh Jobe is actually
- 8:52Speaker 3: one of the best boundary corners in the league right now.
- 8:54Speaker 3: But anyway, the point is, is that Wolin's issue is
- 8:58Speaker 3: technique and concentration.
- 9:00Speaker 7: Strange, strange. These games are one after the other. I
- 9:05Speaker 7: just feel like things are falling apart here. But I
- 9:08Speaker 7: wanted to ask a positive question. Is there anyone on
- 9:11Speaker 7: tape when you're watching that's getting better each week that
- 9:16Speaker 7: you're impressed with?
- 9:19Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Good question.
- 9:22Speaker 7: Go ahead.
- 9:22Speaker 3: I have no idea where Greg's going to go here.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Good stuff. Mauro Ajomo is the best tackle on the
- 9:28Speaker 3: Eagles right now. And I don't even think it's close.
- 9:31Speaker 3: And I think he's playing really, really good football. He
- 9:34Speaker 3: stands out every single week. They're in a really tough
- 9:36Speaker 3: spot with him.
- 9:37Speaker 5: You probably already asked or asked this about Markel Bell
- 9:41Speaker 5: and Drew Kendall and what you're seeing with them.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry. Yeah, Markel Bell did not play poorly this week.
- 9:48Speaker 3: I mean, as an individual, you know. Now, again, now
- 9:52Speaker 3: that he's apparently going to be the starter because they
- 9:54Speaker 3: don't really have anybody else. So he'll be the guy.
- 9:56Speaker 3: I guess Fred Johnson, if he's healthy, they could put
- 9:59Speaker 3: him there. But I personally would rather see Markel Bell. But, again,
- 10:03Speaker 3: I'm not there every day, so I don't know their sense, Judy,
- 10:06Speaker 3: of Markel Bell. He had to play in the last
- 10:09Speaker 3: game because Johnson was inactive. Yeah, exactly.
