- 0:00Speaker 1: Thinks that must go.
- 0:04Speaker 2: On the radio. These are things that are just bugging
- 0:10Speaker 2: the hell out of you. You can't stand it anymore.
- 0:12Speaker 2: You say to yourself, I've got to get this out
- 0:14Speaker 2: of my life. Just get it off my chest. It's
- 0:17Speaker 2: something that must go. Oh, I'll send it to Radio
- 0:20Speaker 2: from Hell. So do that. You put it in an email,
- 0:24Speaker 2: put musco in the subject line, and send it off
- 0:26Speaker 2: to us. The email, by the way, address is Radio
- 0:28Speaker 2: from Hell at x ninety six dot com. And if
- 0:30Speaker 2: we get yours and read it on the air, it
- 0:33Speaker 2: might make you feel better. And sometimes we understand these
- 0:35Speaker 2: things do mysteriously disappear from people's lives when we read
- 0:40Speaker 2: about them on the radio. So Radio from Hell at
- 0:43Speaker 2: x ninety six dot com, muscle in the subject line.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I'll start this time. I have one of my own.
- 0:49Speaker 2: When you get these little like hangnail sort of things
- 0:54Speaker 2: at the edges of your fingers and little and it's
- 0:58Speaker 2: just a little tiny and you forget about us there
- 1:00Speaker 2: until you you bump it on something, catch on your
- 1:03Speaker 2: catch it on something, and then it hurts, and it's
- 1:07Speaker 2: just that really musk like I have a little tiny
- 1:10Speaker 2: sort of cut right here on the edge of my
- 1:12Speaker 2: thumb yep, and it just there's a little piece of
- 1:15Speaker 2: dry skin on that and it catches on stuff and
- 1:17Speaker 2: it hurts, So that must go. Let's see this one says,
- 1:21Speaker 2: thanks for letting me listen. Number one insurance having to
- 1:24Speaker 2: pre authorize everything beforehand to get detailed receipts after. If
- 1:30Speaker 2: I'm submitting a claim for FSA forms for a dental office,
- 1:33Speaker 2: a hospital, or optomogist, for example, that should be enough.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I shouldn't have to go back months later and ask
- 1:39Speaker 2: for receipts to submit when they originally submit. Shouldn't all
- 1:44Speaker 2: of the information be there on that occasion? Yeah? Number two,
- 1:49Speaker 2: almost every car on the road has an auto feature
- 1:52Speaker 2: for headlights. They will automatically turn on when you need them,
- 1:55Speaker 2: turn off when you don't. They also turn on automatically
- 1:58Speaker 2: when you have your wiper blades when it's raining. You
- 2:01Speaker 2: can set that feature and forget it. You don't have
- 2:03Speaker 2: to check your headlights when turning the car on or off.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And what must go? Is everyone not using this? And
- 2:11Speaker 2: number three most people have fast food apps on their phones.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Why do people? Why do people drive to places, sit
- 2:20Speaker 2: in the drive through line, wait until they get to
- 2:22Speaker 2: the box to order and then think what do I want? So,
- 2:26Speaker 2: in other words, you should pre plan these these things
- 2:30Speaker 2: if you're going to you know, drive through line at
- 2:34Speaker 2: like McDonald's, don't sit there and make up your mind
- 2:36Speaker 2: when you get up to the up to the box.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I see, So that's that's what they're talking about. Let's
- 2:42Speaker 2: see this one says, hello lords and lady Gina. You
- 2:45Speaker 2: are always a lord in my eyes. But you know
- 2:47Speaker 2: protocol perimenopause makes me not give an as anyway you
- 2:51Speaker 2: can use my name. It's to cheese cracker stella. And again,
- 2:55Speaker 2: don't dare Bill, No, don't care, Hi Bill, I don't
- 2:58Speaker 2: know why. Don't care? High Bill. With all the construction
- 3:03Speaker 2: and car accidents, please use your blinker when trying to
- 3:08Speaker 2: merge into traffic. I totally get that you didn't realize
- 3:10Speaker 2: that all of a sudden you have to change lanes.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I'll break and let you in with a turn signal.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Don't blaze in front of me like Wiley coyote. It
- 3:18Speaker 2: is not okay. And also, as a personal chef, respect
- 3:22Speaker 2: the cheese drawer in your refrigerator. Do not put blueberries
- 3:25Speaker 2: and green onions and leftover Chinese food in the cheese drawer,
- 3:29Speaker 2: respect the cheese. Yes, and finally this, good morning, lords
- 3:35Speaker 2: and happy birthday, Gena. Here's my list of things that
- 3:38Speaker 2: must go when you call customer service and the autum
- 3:41Speaker 2: unt mated line says, we are experiencing a higher than
- 3:45Speaker 2: usual call volume, but you get that same response every
- 3:48Speaker 2: single time you call them. And then finally this, when
- 3:53Speaker 2: one of the rings in a three ring binder gets bent, oh,
- 3:56Speaker 2: you can just never bend it back to the right position,
- 4:00Speaker 2: and one whole is always falling out. Thanks Austin Fina.
- 4:06Speaker 1: A couple from me. Graduation things that must go. Yes,
- 4:10Speaker 1: if it's your job to announce the names at a graduation,
- 4:14Speaker 1: And for a while there they were trying to say
- 4:17Speaker 1: don't cheer till the end. That never worked. So if
- 4:22Speaker 1: people are cheering, wait till that has stopped before you
- 4:26Speaker 1: read the next name, because they just keep going and
- 4:30Speaker 1: you can't hear who the next kid's name is. So
- 4:32Speaker 1: just pause and long enough for the clapping to stop
- 4:35Speaker 1: so we can hear the next name.
- 4:36Speaker 2: You know why this bothers you so much? Because you're
- 4:39Speaker 2: a professional announcer. You do this stuff. Yeah, I have
- 4:42Speaker 2: the same feeling. I go to funerals, and usually the
- 4:45Speaker 2: speeches of funerals. Yeah, I spend my time rather than
- 4:49Speaker 2: grieving the person to criticizing how bad the speakers are.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Also, girls, I love that you're getting dressed up for
- 4:58Speaker 1: graduation and wearing heels if heels aren't something that you
- 5:02Speaker 1: usually wear, breaking them out for graduation when you got
- 5:07Speaker 1: to walk across the stage and I felt so sorry
- 5:11Speaker 1: for these girls who were wobbling across the stage on
- 5:14Speaker 1: their just wear flats.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's okay.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And have a plan with your graduate for where you
- 5:22Speaker 1: are going to meet after graduation. Right, Well, we're going
- 5:26Speaker 1: to be by that tree over to the right there.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Everybody will be there because trying to meet up with
- 5:31Speaker 1: your graduate after, you know, hundreds of people come streaming
- 5:35Speaker 1: out of the place where the graduation is. It's just
- 5:39Speaker 1: have a plan ahead of time. Let's see this is
- 5:43Speaker 1: I don't know who this is from finding one or
- 5:46Speaker 1: more dented cans of dog food hidden inside a package
- 5:49Speaker 1: twelve pack Good morning lords. My thing that must go
- 5:53Speaker 1: is people who park in a spot reserve for crossing guards.
- 5:56Speaker 1: After my morning shift, I'm able to put my cones
- 5:58Speaker 1: on a spot I parked out reserve. It for the
- 6:00Speaker 1: afternoon shift. However, I have had it happen three times
- 6:03Speaker 1: where I've come back for the afternoon shift only to
- 6:05Speaker 1: find somebody has ignored the cones and parked my reserve spot. Anyway, sure,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I came back to find a beaten up white Honda
- 6:12Speaker 1: Ridgeline in my spot, and I was late setting everything up.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Please don't be like the Honda Ridgeline driver. If you
- 6:17Speaker 1: see cones in a school parking lot, it's reserved, don't
- 6:20Speaker 1: park there. Thanks for letting me listen, let's see. And
- 6:24Speaker 1: then finally this missing the green traffic light because the
- 6:27Speaker 1: driver in front of me is looking down at their phone.
- 6:30Speaker 1: And people monopolizing machines at the gym while using their
- 6:33Speaker 1: phones taking selfies. We love you listen every morning you
- 6:37Speaker 1: got us through the pandemic. The greens of holiday.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Utah selfies at the gym should go. Yeah anyway, all right,
- 6:43Speaker 3: this one from Tony Things that must go. The phone
- 6:46Speaker 3: line's being disconnected for the innovative Hello yeah what segment?
- 6:51Speaker 3: Linda and Pete of Finland not taking the top spot
- 6:54Speaker 3: at Eurovision this past weekend. Oh kidding, I wasn't ready
- 6:57Speaker 3: for a Bulgarian bop with backup dancers from Studio fifty
- 7:01Speaker 3: four going through the purge. I really wanted the world
- 7:04Speaker 3: class violinist to win. She just happened to post naked
- 7:08Speaker 3: and Playboy back in the nineties. Well, and a thing
- 7:11Speaker 3: that must go thinking the thinking that my car interior
- 7:15Speaker 3: smells bad due to pollen from Bradford pear trees. But
- 7:19Speaker 3: if it was a box of button mushrooms that I
- 7:21Speaker 3: left in the backseat rodding away, apparently, Oh that's too bad,
- 7:26Speaker 3: Suzanne writes, Channel two needs to go for canceling Colbert. Well,
- 7:32Speaker 3: it's not Channel two, it's CBS. I planned a boycott,
- 7:36Speaker 3: She says, Channel too. But it's CBS. I planned a
- 7:39Speaker 3: boycott CBS. After he's gone, let's all make them go?
- 7:45Speaker 3: Do I need to boycott them all? All right? This
- 7:47Speaker 3: one from Michael and Idaho Falls What must go is
- 7:51Speaker 3: my neighbor's wasteful watering habits. He's a typical Idaho Utah
- 7:56Speaker 3: boomer guy who you can probably picture right now uttering
- 8:00Speaker 3: his driveway, gutters and sidewalks after he mows his lawn.
- 8:04Speaker 3: He uses so much water you'd think the poor concrete
- 8:07Speaker 3: was dying of thirst. On top of that, it's constantly
- 8:10Speaker 3: windy here. If he's too lazy to sweep, he could
- 8:13Speaker 3: just wait five minutes for the wind to carry that
- 8:15Speaker 3: grass away. Thanks for letting me listen, Michael, and Idaho Falls.
- 8:18Speaker 2: He does that. He does that watering. He usually does
- 8:21Speaker 2: it shirtless as well, probably.
- 8:23Speaker 3: And finally, the thing that must go is for me,
- 8:26Speaker 3: my never ending sense of impending doom.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He must go. Begs that must go on the radio show.
