Latest / Worldview Matters With David Fiorazo / Chad Davidson: The Marketing Of Evil Is Gaining Momentum
Transcript
- 0:02Welcome to Worldview Matters. Discussing controversial issues. Discerning current events. Defending biblical Christianity. No topic. Off limits. And now, here's your host, David Fiorazzo.
- 0:20Hello, friends, family, and Christ. Thank you so much for tuning in to another episode of Worldview Matters. We appreciate your support and always for sharing the podcast. I've got my brother back with us, author, wrestling coach, and podcaster, Mr. Mr.
- 0:36Chad Davidson. I want to bring up his book real quick. He's got a great book called Wrestling with Discipleship. We talked about that a few times. Actually, the last time he was on, maybe it was the time before. I want to make sure you knew that was available. You can get that at goodfight.org in their store at Good Fight Ministries. And his show, 511 News, you can go to 511news.org.
- 1:01And also he does a show with Pastor Joe Schimmel called The Good Fight Radio Show. And you got to catch up on that. And if you miss any episodes, make sure to watch those or listen to those. All right, brother, thank you so much, Chad. Good to connect from the Midwest all the way up to California. Good to see you.
- 1:21Amen, bro. I am always so blessed anytime I get to come on here and just chat with a brother in Christ about what's going on in this crazy world, but the fact that we have Jesus together no matter what. Amen. And we could do eight hours on this topic, but we're squeezing it in in less than a half hour. So we just wrapped up June. We've had a lot of conversations on this show recently about pride. You know, the original sin, right? But
- 1:44The new understanding of pride is all sexuality, the LGBTQ. You recently did a show with Pastor Joe called The History of Pride in American Entertainment. And I wanted to ask you about that, if you could give us a few bullet points and also your perspective. You're in California, maybe a little bit closer to some of this, some of the activity, the pride celebrations and the whole month of June.
- 2:09In my opinion, the agenda has not stopped, but people are slightly backing off from it a little bit. Maybe corporations, maybe it wasn't good for their bottom, you know, their money. Just your thoughts on that whole thing and then tell us about that podcast, that show you did.
- 2:28Yeah, I think that you are right. There is. I don't know. I it's kind of interesting. Even some of the guys I actually just watched a clip this morning. It wasn't even related to anything we were doing, but it was a comedian who is a homosexual talking about how tired even the homosexual community is with Pride Month, which is crazy to me. And he was a dude, Chase Bank. I don't need them to be gay. You know what's going on?
- 2:52And I was cracking up listening to that. But I was like, wow, that is that is true. And, you know, recently I'm I'm Southern California, so I am a Los Angeles Dodgers fan. I'm not a Giants fan. And the good thing is, is that Clayton Kershaw last year when they were doing all the pride stuff, he put Genesis chapter nine on his hat when they were trying to do all the, you know, the gay hats and whatnot. And.
- 3:19And apparently and there's a big hoopla with it. You know, even some of the congressmen have come out against the MLB for the statements they made against pitcher Landon Roop there for the Giants, because him and another pitcher both put the same thing right on that hat that the rainbow is actually a promise from the Lord to not flood the earth again.
- 3:38And so I was like, wow, that is interesting that a lot of people are just saying, I'm done with it. You had entire minor league baseball teams say, we're not doing this anymore. The NHL, because their players were standing up, a lot of those teams are like, we're not doing it anymore. We're done with this. But...
- 3:54I found it fascinating. Like we were in, we're talking about California. Like you said, we're in Southern California. We're in Simi Valley, red. The rest of the stuff around us is pretty blue. But in terms of California, we just last year were in Idaho.
- 4:09And I thought, oh, great. We did a Good Fight Ministries conference. It was awesome. And I was like, hey, let's go grab some food. Only about 15 minutes where we were. There was like a grocery outlet at Chipotle or something. And I'm like, oh, go get some food. And next thing you know, I'm in Boise and there is a giant pride parade right there in the heart of the world.
- 4:27of Boise because, you know, whenever you get these colleges there, what do you have? You have professors and then you have the garbage. That's actually how they turn states purple is, you know, whatever you have to do with the political spectrum. The fact is, is there is a blue and that blue automatically means the death of babies and pro LGBT. I mean, we just have to get it. It's just a fact. And so you have to deal with that.
- 4:51And so when you see that, it's because they infiltrate the children and then the children at the schools, they become very blue and it turns red states into purple. And so that's what actually does take place. So it's just the reality. So whenever you look at these big states that are very conservative, what you're going to find is if you go to the hot spots, you go to Texas where you go over to Austin, they're keeping Austin weird just like Portland. OK, this is just what's true. San Antonio, same thing.
- 5:20So when you look at all this, you're like, man, what is going on that pride is getting pushed all over the country? And where did this come from? Where is it going? And where are we at today? Truth be told, this idea of pride and LGBT and all of this, we've talked about this, how in entertainment, and some people have the chicken or the egg kind of situation, is it that the culture—
- 5:44is that which influences the entertainment or is the entertainment, the thing that's influenced in the culture. And I believe that's an either or fallacy. I think that both work in unison. I think that there is a reflection of the culture that comes out in entertainment, but I do believe that people are influenced by that entertainment and there can be a social contagion that just continues to influence people. And we say this because I,
- 6:11We actually in that show, we started out with this premise and the premise actually comes from Madonna, the great philosopher. You know her. This is from the interview she did with The Advocate, a homosexual advocacy magazine back in 1991.
- 6:27And she said, speaking of adding homosexuality into her music videos and movies and so forth, she said, they digest it on a lot of different levels. Some people will see it and be disgusted by it, but maybe they'll be unconsciously aroused by it. If people keep seeing it and seeing it and seeing it, eventually it's not going to be such a strange thing.
- 6:50And so that kind of idea of visualizing this, having this in the music videos, having Madonna go out there and kiss Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. And by the way, one of the things, the reason the impetus for that show was because JLo had come out in an interview and said, that was supposed to be me. Well, I think she was probably either right around the time she was dating P. Diddy and he's got his own issues.
- 7:15Going on right now. But one of the things that we talked about in that show, and it actually relates to a lot of the CRT stuff, the critical race theory. It actually starts all the way back with Marxism and Karl Marx and the ideas of basically having these people that are over you, you know, the means of production and those who control the means of production. And then you have the people underneath them, right, the workers and so forth. And we talked about and I'll try to summarize it as quickly as possible.
- 7:45you
- 7:46how there was a Frankfurt school that kind of took that and left and actually went to Columbia University and then started disseminating critical theory out throughout the masses in the United States. And not only did critical theory come with this idea of basically the truth is relative and it's relative to whoever controls that quote unquote means of production. And what happened was, is you had critical race theory that came out of that.
- 8:16queer theory as well that makes gender, sexuality, and so forth, not objective standards that come directly from God, His Word, His nature, but they actually are relative to whoever controls basically the majority at that time.
- 8:35And so what we're seeing is, is that this is exactly kind of the, I guess, the foundation for what we have now in terms of all the pride months and all the celebratory nonsense that are obligatory for so many people that work at Chase Bank, that work at Home Depot, that work for the Giants and work for the Dodgers, where they have to wear this garbage on them that is a direct, I mean, it really is. It's a spit in the face to God Almighty that they are proud of the wickedness that they're
- 9:05There's so much I want to follow up on with you and what you just shared, Chad. Thank you. This agenda has been—I mean, how far back does it go? They had to find ways to normalize sexual deviancy, and they used the word gay over and over and over.
- 9:24Remember, there's a Christmas carol that still says gay, and there's, you know, that used to mean happy. But no, they started to work at this in the 60s and the 70s, and they made full-on progress. So you say in that show that you did with Pastor Joe, your interpretation or your observations are, this thing is still gaining steam, even though—
- 9:46Some corporations are backing off a little bit. Maybe it affected their bottom line. I don't know, but it doesn't mean their worldview has changed just because Target, who, by the way, was one of the first corporations that allowed, you know, boys and men to go into girls dressing rooms and Target in the bathrooms, even though they backed off recently, doesn't mean their worldview has changed.
- 10:07But let's go back to Marxism. It is pitting, you know, groups against one another. But you've got to form these groups. And that's what—it's very—it's evil. It is evil. This is demonic. But that's what they've been doing, right? They've been forming these groups. And that all goes against biblical Christianity. So I was going to go somewhere with that. Think about normalizing gay, normalizing homosexuality. Okay, here it is. The T. LGBT.
- 10:34It seems when it got to the hormones and the surgeries on minors and hospitals getting involved, the medical community, not just Hollywood, not just the Democrats, not just, you know, the LGBTQ hospitals, the medical professionals, and they're doing surgeries, removing healthy body parts. It seems, Chad, that they overplayed their hand when they pushed that.
- 11:00And some are backing off. But yet we're still fighting this, aren't we? Just your thoughts on that. And then we'll move on. Yeah, I love what you said there, too, with even like the word gay. Right. We'll have a gay old time. That was I. Flintstones. Right. And, you know, you saw that and you're like, oh, gay. And then all of a sudden, oh, you're just happy, you know. And it's like, well, they're not really happy. And, you know, we interviewed Walt Heyer.
- 11:23who was one of the first men to transition, so to speak. And he runs a website, sexchangeregret.org. And he said every single one of them, every sing, I asked him and I asked him point blank on our show, you've received thousands of people contacting you, saying, I regret what I've done. I can't believe this. What do I do? So to speak. And I asked him how many of them had this traumatic event as a young child that you mentioned, an encounter. And he said, all of them, every single one of them.
- 11:53And it was something I was like, man, instead of coming alongside someone who's in pain, where wickedness has taken place, it just seems like instead of coming alongside of them and saying, hey, we need to orient you back in the biblical direction. It's actually let me give you all these other things that are going to help you and those other things. And as you said.
- 12:13They've played their hand too much. But here's the thing, because we can talk about, hey, that's a good thing, that there are some, you know, some of these Russian dudes are like, hey, we're not doing the gay thing during our hockey game. I mean, they're not putting up with it. And some of the baseball guys, like, I hope that they stand tall and do not shrink back.
- 12:32I hope that that will happen more and more. You know, the Dodgers pitcher on gay night, he said, I'm not wearing that hat. And he goes and gets the save and finishes the game, you know, and Blake Trinan. And he's an outspoken, you know, professing believer. And so those things are great. But I do believe because even when you look at the fruits of the flesh, when you go to Galatians chapter five and you have the fruits of the spirit versus the fruits of the flesh, the first three all have to do.
- 12:58with the sexual nature, actually. All three of the first three mentioned of the fruits of the flesh. So that is a way, and when you read the Old Testament, if there's a way to bring down Samson or King David, it typically is of the sexual variety, right? And doesn't always have to be gay. And sadly enough, when it comes to now these personal adult film sites that women are now told, and we're told,
- 13:22that money is the root of all sorts of evil. The truth is when you're seeing it and you're seeing it and they're told like you can make all this money and you have women going on these personal adult film, I don't wanna get your videos knocked down so I'm trying to use the language that I can. Thank you. If you have these personal sites,
- 13:42And guess what? You have two perverted people and a lot more than that, getting involved, the people behind the camera, the people getting involved, having the pictures taken of them and the weirdos that are buying the stuff. I'm sorry that, you know, the same. Sadly, I think about this all the time when we talk about these perversions, because this is a perversion to people have a Bible app on their phone. And right next to that Bible app, there's a there's a little browser that they can click on and they are going right over to look at things that are going to keep them from the kingdom of God.
- 14:11Because Jesus said, if you look at a woman with lust and lust after her, you've already committed adultery in your heart. He said it'd be better to pluck out your eye, cut off your hand than have your whole body thrown into there. And you have a bunch of people that are bent on perversion, whether homosexual or whether it's, you know, fornicatively, whatever you want to call it. It's disgusting. And these things, even when we have some victories, we also got to look at and say, well, where is this all going towards?
- 14:36Because when I read Revelation 21 8 and when I read the book of Revelation, it says they don't repent of even their sorcery. They repent of their sins. Those who are wicked stay wicked still. And their heart is the problem. And we need heart change in this country and this world, whether it's for homosexual reasons or whether it's because people are involved in fornication or I don't like to call it adult films. But that just helps us not get dinged on YouTube.
- 15:00Yeah, exactly. Oh, my goodness. Talk about dinged. I've had episodes just deleted without me even. No response. No questions asked. Just they deleted. What? The content violated their community standards? Anyway, we could go on that censorship. That's for a whole other time, Chad. This is going by way too fast. So let's transition now. No pun intended. Let's transition to this guy that you did a show on called Caleb Shomo.
- 15:27Yes. He was in it. Was he a Christian or in a Christian band? And tell us what's going on with this guy. Yeah. You know, this one was really a sad, sad case when it comes to this. This was a young man. He's a little older now. He was married for 14 years. And, you know, our producer, the guy who does all the editing for our 511 News, Josh, he had actually a long time ago seen them in concert. And in fact,
- 15:56One of his friends was wearing a cross on and the lead singer, Caleb Shomo of the band said, hey, you got a cross on. Are you Christian? And started talking about the faith. And in fact, we even showed in our in our thing or in our in our episode, him talking about how God saved him and all of this and writing songs about it.
- 16:17But one of the things we said, and we kind of went through years and years of lyrics, and you could see that he was getting more and more angry. First, it was like, you know, like Pence and, you know, angst and so forth. He would talk about, he's like, I believe it's true, is some of the lyrics he talks about, the faith. And he's like, you think I'm just believing this because I was taught it at church, basically. And he's like, but they're the ones who judge me the most.
- 16:42And one of the things we showcased is that even when Kanye West had come out with his original Jesus is King album, he had entire songs where he's like, the church is going to be the first ones to judge me. And it just seemed like...
- 16:56People think that the only unforgivable sin is actually somebody looking at you and being judgmental. Yes, if somebody is judgmental and being like, hey, this guy doesn't have the right clothes on, throw him out in the back, like and not wanting to share the gospel with somebody. Yeah, they need repentance too. It's not unforgivable. They both need repentance, right? And the truth is,
- 17:18is when you notice though that people will live this life and then they're throw pity parties on themselves just over and over, everyone's gonna judge me. And then I went through the lyrical content and Josh helped me with this, go through all these songs, the whole catalog of songs for over a decade.
- 17:34And I mean, you go from, hey, this stuff's true. I believe it. It's not the people at the church that are going to judge me or the reason I believe it to eventually talking about how he's in hell and he's 660 feet down and so forth. And it was like, oh, man, he has gone way off the rails. And sadly enough, the most recent post from him and his wife, he was married for 14 years.
- 17:59And a lot of people were like, dude, you're dressing a little weird. You're acting really weird. What's going on here? And finally, he makes a post that he's got to live out his truth. Basically, he's homosexual. And he's leaving his wife behind of 14 years because now he wants to practice a gay lifestyle. He goes on. And what we did is we actually put out a short for this. And a lot of people were like, whoa. And what Josh did was put an interview with him a few years ago, an interview now,
- 18:28In the interview, he's a normal guy talking about a concert, you know, whatever. Next thing you know, he's in an interview after he's come out and now he's got all the, he's dressed like a woman talking about being glam. I can't even say some of the words he used, but acting like a caricature of a woman. If you guys ever know this, I just have to point this out. Whenever someone goes to this and I believe it has to do with Romans one, they're given over to the depravity of their mind to do that, which is unnatural. And so they start acting unnaturally.
- 18:55Notice when somebody is trans or when someone becomes a homosexual and they start acting effeminate, they don't act like my wife, you know, who is effeminate because she's a woman. You know, they don't act like that. They act like a caricature of what a woman should be. And it's it's disgusting. It's repulsive. And they claim this is them living their truth when they're literally living a lie and everyone can see it.
- 19:19And this is somebody who has now totally turned aside the faith, only sings against the Lord now, who at one point, he says, is the only reason he was alive is because God showed him he loved him. And now he's rejected him so that he can wear eyeliner and kiss dudes. It's just a heartbreaking thing.
- 19:36Well, you said a lot when, if you use these words, living my truth, right? There is no such thing as my truth, your truth, his truth, her truth, right? That road does not even exist. There is the truth, Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through him. And there is one God. And anyway, let's go on, Chad, because we're running out of time. That's a sad story, but I just wonder how much of the world's influence...
- 20:06just gradually seeped into his life. He was married 14 years. It's just very, very sad, and I'm sure there are stories that are very similar to that. And it makes you wonder, though, not to judge, but it makes you wonder, was he truly converted in the first place when he was singing or talking about God or his faith? What did that mean? Did he have a biblical worldview? Was he converted? Anyway, for another topic, for another show, but let's talk now a little bit more. You mentioned you were...
- 20:34delving into just understanding the growth of the occult and witchcraft. I think you did a show on that recently. I think of a lot of ladies that we're in touch with, the Jack Marino Chen and Jen Niza, and they've been a Doreen Virtue. A lot of these wonderful women of God are exposing this and their background. But what did you find recently? What was that show about?
- 21:00Yeah. You know what is fascinating? I love those sisters. We've had them on quite a few times. Absolutely awesome, awesome sisters in the Lord. And one of the things that happened was a movie came out that kind of just went big. It was it was called Obsession. And this movie, there's been a bunch of memes made. Indy Navarrete was the star. She's kind of breaking out from this.
- 21:24And it was this idea, this young man has this obsession with this girl. It's unhealthy. He works with her even though and it's like your normal, terrible, disgusting film. But he works with her. He's trying to talk to his friend like, hey, I want to get with this girl. And what should I say to her, you know, to try to tell her I have feelings for her. But the guy he's talking to is hooking up with this girl. Right. And behind his back and not telling him, of course.
- 21:50But this guy has this obsession. So he goes into an actual, and by the way, we looked at it. It's not too far from us, actually, an actual New Age occult bookstore. And now the item that he buys is not real, but they are now selling and sold out. They cannot even keep these things because so many people are buying. And Indy Navarrete actually went on Jimmy Fallon and brought this on there. It's called a One Wish Willow.
- 22:17And you basically snap it and you get one wish. And they made this up? Yeah, the creator of the film actually made this up. But that part's not real. But she did go on Jimmy Fallon. And then after Jimmy Fallon snaps it, he goes, oh, is he still the president? You know, like, oh, did he? You know, has he gotten out? You know, that kind of thing. But the, yeah, the Jimmy Fallon, or not Jimmy Fallon, I'm sorry, Jimmy Kimmel. He's just so funny, you know. Anyway.
- 22:46He goes and he, this one wish willow goes out there and now people are buying it and actually trying this stuff. And people think it's just a joke and it's just funny and all of that. And, you know, when you look at it, this woman then becomes obsessed with him, ends up being a murderous human being because she falls in love with him and.
- 23:04The whole thing, there's no redemption. Everyone just dies pretty much except for her. She ends up living. But then once this guy that, you know, had the crush on her dies, now she's back to normal. But now she's killed people. So now she's a murderer. It's there's no benefit there. The guy Curry Baker, who makes it, he also makes other short films, very sick, demented, disgusting.
- 23:24sort of thing. And it's so weird, even like the key and peel stuff. A lot of these comedians, they, they're, they, they like writing comedies, but then on the other side, they're very demented and write some of the darkest tales. But the point of that was, when you look at this story, this obsession that he had with her that caused him to seek out witchcraft, what we noticed is that there are actually a ton of real stories of this taking place.
- 23:49where people actually went and sought Satan himself. And a perfect example of that is actually Marilyn Manson. He was a young boy that apparently, this is his own autobiography, that people were not paying attention to him. He had no power. And he said he thought he could seek Satan out and that he would ultimately get him the power over all these people. And a lot of people thought,
- 24:13that, you know, Harry Potter, no big deal, witchcraft, it's just fun and games. In fact, maybe it's a story that's similar to Jesus, right? But the fact is that all the warnings that people said, no, people are going to go look to these things. They're going to look to witchcraft. When I read
- 24:29Revelation, when I read First Corinthians, when I read the Bible, Romans, it doesn't matter. I find a condemnation of witchcraft over and over again. And then when I look and find out that just a couple of years ago, officially, there are more Wiccan witches registered than there are Presbyterian Church of USA members. And I do not think it's an accident.
- 24:53that you have Sabrina the Teenage Witch, okay? Then you have the more dark version that Netflix came out with after that. You have Harry Potter. You have all of this stuff over and over again. Instead of people seeking their God, they're seeking witchcraft.
- 25:08craft and wizardry. And it's not just that. The New Age stuff, Satan doesn't care if you're doing it with a one-wish willow or if you're waking up with your app for Astrology 101 and it's telling you, using the Barnum effect, all of these things are going to happen to you in the next month. And basically, what it gets is your eyes off the Lord, your eyes off the Scriptures. Instead of people seeking their God, they're literally looking at the creation rather than the Creator. They seek God
- 25:37On behalf of the living, they are seeking the dead. It's all demonic. And the fact is, when you look at it, people are orienting themselves away from the Lord and going towards this stuff. And then what's sad is, so many of them, and I really think, like you said, Jack Marino, Chen and Jen Niza and Doreen Virtue, they would easily, I love that they are so easily able to spot that stuff.
- 26:04They go, oh, people are trying to bring in this, bring this into the church. And people are now just, you know, same thing when you go to Rome and you see there's Poseidon over there and they put a cross on it. And it's no, it's St. Peter. They are just thinking that they are able to circumcise these disgusting displays, make them holy, put a cross on them and say, oh, this is biblical Christianity. When really it's witchcraft repackage and it's damageable to the soul.
- 26:31Man, thank you so much. That was great. I want to direct people to that episode you did in June, June 12th, at 511news.org called Obsession with Witchcraft. I mean, it didn't start with Harry Potter, but, man, what an influence that was.
- 26:47That turned out to an amazing brand that's led a lot of young people astray. Twilight and so many other series that have just kind of subtly taken people away from God, obviously into other things that are not healthy. This goes by way too fast, brother. We've got to have you on again. Thank you for your time today. Again, goodfight.org. You can also check out, guys, goodfightradioshow.org. And don't miss 511 News.
- 27:12Chad Davidson, always great to catch up with you. And thanks for all you do, man. I don't know how you keep up with everything, but we appreciate you, brother. Thank you.
- 27:21You too, brother. You're always awesome, bro. God bless you. God bless you as well. Say hi to Pastor Joe for us. I will. All right. All right, guys, thank you so much. Share this one. Talk about the marketing of evil. We've just scratched the surface, but we've got to continue to have these conversations. God bless you. And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter. See you next time.
- 27:51.
