- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's Almost Famous podcast. We're back with all the latest
- 0:08Speaker 2: headlines happening in Bachelor Nation. We've got a lot to
- 0:10Speaker 2: cover today, some bad news and some good news. But
- 0:13Speaker 2: before we get to all the news, I want to
- 0:16Speaker 2: say congratulations to the Indiana Hoosiers on the national Congratulations
- 0:21Speaker 2: to you. Yeah, it's a big way.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Were you last night?
- 0:24Speaker 2: How was? I? I mean like good at the end,
- 0:28Speaker 2: which is I think like the point, but a mixed
- 0:32Speaker 2: bag of emotions throughout ups and downs and nerves and
- 0:36Speaker 2: it was such a good game, such a good game.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Good and at the end we're national champions. And that's
- 0:42Speaker 2: weird to say, but everybody should be celebrating because here's
- 0:48Speaker 2: the lesson learned Ashley before I throw it over to you.
- 0:51Speaker 2: It is for so many years of our existence. I
- 0:54Speaker 2: think it was eighteen eighty seven is when our football
- 0:56Speaker 2: program was founded, we have the most losses any Division
- 1:00Speaker 2: one football team in history.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04Speaker 5: To be honest, I don't think of you as like
- 1:06Speaker 5: a football I know the first time, right, You're not
- 1:08Speaker 5: a football school like Division one sounds big.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Yeah, We're not a football school. We have never been
- 1:14Speaker 2: a football school. We're a basketball school. And over the
- 1:16Speaker 2: last two years things have changed. And so here's a
- 1:19Speaker 2: lesson learned is when you do things the right way
- 1:23Speaker 2: with the right people, and you focus on an intention,
- 1:28Speaker 2: magic can happen. And for the Indiana Hoosiers, magic happened
- 1:32Speaker 2: last night and it can never be taken away from us.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So we'll celebrate because you can go from worse to
- 1:38Speaker 2: first in a quicker period of time than anybody could imagined.
- 1:42Speaker 5: We proved it over here in Patriots Land. We concur
- 1:46Speaker 5: with that.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Oh shut up, you guys have been good forever, all right,
- 1:50Speaker 2: Ashley take it away?
- 1:51Speaker 3: Okay, wait, wait, wait, Ben? That made me think, Ben,
- 1:55Speaker 3: after all these years of.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Doing this podcast together and being such good friends.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Where did I go to school?
- 2:02Speaker 2: Well, you got your masters from Virginia? Right?
- 2:07Speaker 3: Nope?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Oh wait, I know I do know this. This will
- 2:12Speaker 2: make me mad because I do know it was. Oh Syracuse. Goodness,
- 2:16Speaker 2: Why do I think Virginia?
- 2:17Speaker 5: Yeah, my master's from Syracuse? And where do you do undergrad?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Your undergrad was? I know this one too, and it's
- 2:25Speaker 2: like a it was a surprise for me. I actually
- 2:28Speaker 2: just found this out recently.
- 2:29Speaker 5: I know because I always tell people like more Syracuse oriented.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yes I am.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I want to say, was it a school in DC?
- 2:40Speaker 4: No? No, two hours outside?
- 2:43Speaker 2: I do on even two hours outside. I don't even
- 2:45Speaker 2: know if I could guess. I just have always known
- 2:46Speaker 2: you as Syracuse. I think would. But I just I
- 2:49Speaker 2: saw you post about something undergrad and I was like, oh,
- 2:52Speaker 2: I learned something about Ashley today.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, I did recently post about it.
- 2:56Speaker 5: I went to James Madison because the football is all
- 3:00Speaker 5: so doing quite well.
- 3:01Speaker 2: You know, our coach is from James Madison.
- 3:04Speaker 5: He's at an alum or he played, he played football there.
- 3:08Speaker 2: That he was coaching at James Madison before he went
- 3:10Speaker 2: to IU, and he brought thirteen of James Madison players
- 3:14Speaker 2: with him, seven of them which were on this team
- 3:16Speaker 2: that won the national championship and all played.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Wait, ma, that's so crazy.
- 3:20Speaker 5: See, like he obviously just worked as magic there at
- 3:23Speaker 5: JM here and then he's like, okay, guys, let's go
- 3:25Speaker 5: for here now. And they're still doing very well. So
- 3:28Speaker 5: all right, well that's so funny.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Yes, but I've always known you as Syracuse.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, Like I know, it's crazy that I
- 3:35Speaker 5: only went to Syracuse for like, my program was sixteen months,
- 3:39Speaker 5: but I always just I felt very at home there.
- 3:42Speaker 5: I felt like I really belonged there. At jmu is
- 3:45Speaker 5: just I don't know, I was just like a homebody
- 3:48Speaker 5: at a party school and just didn't make sense. But
- 3:50Speaker 5: I still have plenty of fond memories. Anyway, moving on
- 3:55Speaker 5: to a cute story that I just wanted to share
- 3:57Speaker 5: before we go into these headlines. Ben, I just want
- 4:01Speaker 5: you because I was listening to Dawson and I was like,
- 4:03Speaker 5: oh my god, that's gonna freak out when like when
- 4:06Speaker 5: he gets to this age and he experiences something like this.
- 4:10Speaker 5: So he's like kind of phasing out of nap time.
- 4:12Speaker 5: And I don't mind that at all because like he's
- 4:15Speaker 5: so easy now to me, like especially in comparison to
- 4:18Speaker 5: like what he was a few years ago. So our nanny,
- 4:22Speaker 5: she's like a Montessori teacher too, she's entraining to be
- 4:24Speaker 5: a Monty Story teacher.
- 4:25Speaker 6: So she's like very thoughtful about like the day's plans.
- 4:29Speaker 6: She's had him start doing quiet time instead of nap time.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Also when he does naptime now, it's like actually not
- 4:37Speaker 6: a good thing because he's like wired at ten thirty
- 4:39Speaker 6: eight pm, and I'm just like, let's not so now
- 4:43Speaker 6: he's having quiet time, so he's in his room reading
- 4:48Speaker 6: books to himself. So he's just sitting in his room
- 4:52Speaker 6: making up stories.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Oh my god, it's so much fun.
- 4:55Speaker 4: I can't wait to get to this age. It's so
- 4:57Speaker 4: much fun. Like he holds my face at nine, Your
- 5:00Speaker 4: beautiful mama. You're a wonderful mama. It's like crazy.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Alrighty did you ever look at Jared and be like,
- 5:07Speaker 2: hey man, you could do this too.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I literally tell I'm like, I get like all of
- 5:12Speaker 5: my like touch and like my words of affirmation from Dawson.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Now, yeah, Jared stepping up a little bit, buddy, Ashley,
- 5:21Speaker 2: you got a beautiful family. That's something wonderful. Hey, I'm
- 5:25Speaker 2: a little stuffy today. I've been sick for last week.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It's not good. But we're gonna get through this. We're
- 5:30Speaker 2: gonna start with some news that is not as we said.
- 5:35Speaker 2: There's some good news and some bad news in the
- 5:36Speaker 2: headlines this week, but there are headlines to go over.
- 5:40Speaker 2: We're gonna start with a headline about Katie Thurston. We
- 5:44Speaker 2: followed Katie's story for a while now, and in fact,
- 5:48Speaker 2: in our breakdown of twenty twenty five most shocking moments.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Katie Thurston's diagnosis was number one because it threw us
- 5:57Speaker 2: all off, and I also engaged into an education about
- 6:02Speaker 2: our bodies and our symptoms and what's happening that so
- 6:06Speaker 2: many of us maybe have neglected. Well, here's a headline
- 6:13Speaker 2: that really sadened Alla's over Here at the Almost Famous podcast,
- 6:16Speaker 2: Katie Thurston reveals her mom's breast cancer diagnosis nearly one
- 6:20Speaker 2: year after Bachelor Star was diagnosed herself.
- 6:25Speaker 4: How absolutely awful, so horrible.
- 6:29Speaker 5: I wonder how it feels to be going through this together,
- 6:33Speaker 5: side by side, as mother and daughter decades apart, going
- 6:37Speaker 5: through the exact same thing. So she posted on January nineteenth,
- 6:42Speaker 5: this is wow.
- 6:42Speaker 4: She just did this the other day. It feels long.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Couple days.
- 6:48Speaker 5: So she said that she flew to Seattle to be
- 6:52Speaker 5: with her mom during her first doctor's appointment. She wanted
- 6:55Speaker 5: to make sure that she was getting proper care and information.
- 6:58Speaker 5: She said, I hate that we have to be our
- 7:00Speaker 5: biggest advocate, but also this was what's going to save
- 7:02Speaker 5: your life. So a few weeks ago, her mom was
- 7:06Speaker 5: diagnosed with breast cancer, and she said that she went
- 7:10Speaker 5: in for her routine mammogram in December and it came
- 7:12Speaker 5: back negative slash probably benign, but the doctors noted that
- 7:17Speaker 5: because her mom has dense breas that well, she just
- 7:21Speaker 5: noted that she had dense breuss okay, didn't say further
- 7:26Speaker 5: imaging should be recommended. It actually like they did not
- 7:31Speaker 5: say you should go and get further imaging, so they
- 7:34Speaker 5: told her to just come back in another year for
- 7:37Speaker 5: another annual mammogram. They never suggested a breast ultrasound, and
- 7:41Speaker 5: that's normally what you should do, just for everyone out there,
- 7:44Speaker 5: if you have a dense breass, it's really a good
- 7:47Speaker 5: idea to go get an ultrasound in addition to a
- 7:51Speaker 5: mammogram because they can hide. So once she did get
- 7:57Speaker 5: the ultrasound, the doctors found suspicious masses and ultimately ended
- 8:03Speaker 5: up going and performing a brass MRI and biopsies, and
- 8:07Speaker 5: two weeks later, just a coole weeks agom, her mom
- 8:09Speaker 5: was diagnosed with cancer. So we are just so sorry.
- 8:16Speaker 5: And she did say that her own advocacy allowed them
- 8:19Speaker 5: to catch this early, so hopefully she'll be totally fine.
- 8:23Speaker 5: But it is just so crazy and so sad that
- 8:25Speaker 5: they are going to be having to go through this
- 8:27Speaker 5: journey together.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Now.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It is sad and I think shocking because obviously the
- 8:34Speaker 2: Katie thirsty news threw us all off, and then you
- 8:38Speaker 2: have this, right, you know, behind it, and you kind
- 8:41Speaker 2: of I don't know, Actually, you expect bad news to
- 8:44Speaker 2: always kind of be compounded by good news, especially in
- 8:47Speaker 2: this situations, right, I mean, there's always been this, like
- 8:50Speaker 2: Katie is living this story that so many of us
- 8:53Speaker 2: are engaged in. But the good news is to come.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You want to believe that, or at least I want
- 8:59Speaker 2: to believe that, And then you have this and you're
- 9:01Speaker 2: like that has to just be so hard on the
- 9:03Speaker 2: family at this point. But the underlying thing here is
- 9:08Speaker 2: they are doing this together, and I do think there
- 9:11Speaker 2: is going to be a massive impact.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Yeah, to see the bright side here. I think this
- 9:15Speaker 5: makes Katie's story even more unique. And of course it's
- 9:20Speaker 5: unique in a worse way, but I think it can
- 9:22Speaker 5: be unique in a very powerful way, Like it just
- 9:25Speaker 5: makes the story the experience a lack of a better word,
- 9:29Speaker 5: It's something I feel like they could write books on this.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Katie could write a book on it on her own,
- 9:34Speaker 5: but I just can already imagine them recovered in a
- 9:37Speaker 5: few years, just being out together, like on the trail,
- 9:41Speaker 5: making noise for breast cancer awareness.
- 9:44Speaker 2: And helping so many.
- 9:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Actually, I'm a huge fan of land Man, massive fan
- 10:01Speaker 2: of Landman, and as a result, a big fan of
- 10:04Speaker 2: Michelle Randolph, who is wonderful and land Man. And Michelle
- 10:08Speaker 2: Randolph is also sisters with Cassie Randolph, who was on
- 10:14Speaker 2: The Bachelor ended up with Colton Underwood at the end
- 10:17Speaker 2: that lasted not very long, didn't end well, But the
- 10:23Speaker 2: headline is this, Michelle Randolph reveals lessons learned from sister
- 10:28Speaker 2: Cassie Randolph's time on The Bachelor. Here's the wild part. Actually,
- 10:33Speaker 2: you had Cassie and myself out to Rhode Island for
- 10:38Speaker 2: an event at Audrey's Lea a few years ago, and
- 10:41Speaker 2: I remember talking to Cassie about her sister, Michelle, who
- 10:44Speaker 2: at the time was i'm gonna say struggling actress. She
- 10:48Speaker 2: was young.
- 10:49Speaker 3: She's pretty pretty is an understatement.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Yeah, she was gonna get her roles, but she hadn't
- 10:53Speaker 2: necessarily found that like sweet spot yet her big break,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and sometimes in Hollywood it doesn't have and well, hilarious.
- 11:02Speaker 2: A few years later, Michelle is a huge name. She's
- 11:05Speaker 2: blown up, she's wanted everywhere, and she's talking about what
- 11:10Speaker 2: she's learned from her big sister's time on the show
- 11:13Speaker 2: that you and I are both a part of.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Give me some context here because you're a Yellowstone fan.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Isn't lamb Man sort of under the yellow Zone umbrella
- 11:21Speaker 5: or wasn't or wasn't Michelle on a show?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Was it nineteen twenty? What was the show? The show
- 11:26Speaker 4: that was the number show?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Oh, eighteen twenty or nineteen twenty three or eighteen twenty?
- 11:32Speaker 2: Guy watched there?
- 11:32Speaker 3: It was, so she on that.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah, she started there. So it's all under the same creator,
- 11:37Speaker 2: Taylor Sheridan. Land Man is the same creator, and that's
- 11:40Speaker 2: kind of how she got her foot in the door
- 11:41Speaker 2: with this, you know, this line of work. And now
- 11:45Speaker 2: land Man is a more modern show. It takes place
- 11:48Speaker 2: in modern times. But yeah, she originally started in that
- 11:51Speaker 2: show and did an incredible job in that and then
- 11:53Speaker 2: obviously landed her role as the daughter to Billy Bob
- 11:58Speaker 2: Thornton in Landman.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Yeah, between that and the fact that she's been out
- 12:03Speaker 5: with Glenn Powell, she's been the talk of the town lately.
- 12:06Speaker 5: So in Style magazine asked her, what did you learn
- 12:13Speaker 5: from your older sister's very public breakup with Colton? And
- 12:17Speaker 5: she said what I I look, Basically, she says, I
- 12:21Speaker 5: don't want to share what I learned. I just don't
- 12:24Speaker 5: think anything good comes from that. It's because it's your
- 12:27Speaker 5: personal life, and it to be personal and reserved for
- 12:30Speaker 5: yourself and those who are close to you. She said, ironically,
- 12:36Speaker 5: I think what I learned is that I want to
- 12:38Speaker 5: keep my personal life private. And interestingly, Glenn Powell had
- 12:45Speaker 5: interest had an interesting, interesting, interesting, interesting quote where he
- 12:50Speaker 5: said it would take a very specific type of person
- 12:53Speaker 5: for him to pursue a relationship while in the public eye.
- 12:57Speaker 5: It's a lot to handle, is basically what he said.
- 13:00Speaker 5: And so I wonder if Michelle is.
- 13:04Speaker 4: Worth a lot. Yeah, so that show is doing amazing.
- 13:09Speaker 5: And that was Michelle's input on what she learned from
- 13:13Speaker 5: her sister's public relationship.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Bachelor Nations Caitlin Bristow celebrates and this is in quotes
- 13:20Speaker 2: weirdo Zach Clark's birthday amid four years of dating.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Rumors four years okay, four years two years of dating
- 13:30Speaker 5: rumors because they were first seen together.
- 13:32Speaker 3: On New Year's Eve, when it was turning twenty twenty four.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Uh yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 5: So the other day Zach posted something that honestly could
- 13:41Speaker 5: have been a headline itself. He said that he's he
- 13:44Speaker 5: said f fruit. Okay, so like he's turning forty two,
- 13:47Speaker 5: he has a cake and the message said f fruit
- 13:54Speaker 5: he has. He said he's forty two years old and
- 13:56Speaker 5: has still never had a bite of fruit.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Like part what I.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Need you to text him right now and be like, dude, like,
- 14:04Speaker 5: how much of a hyperbole is this?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Well, it's also weird because I could see it with vegetables,
- 14:10Speaker 2: but it's like really good, Like I don't know fruit.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I like vegetables too, Like I like vegetables.
- 14:18Speaker 2: I'm a big vegetable fan. I'm not saying I hate
- 14:20Speaker 2: on any of this, but I could see it more
- 14:21Speaker 2: with vegetables than I would with fruit.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Like what some people have like kind of like an
- 14:27Speaker 5: allergic reaction to fruit, Like my sister doesn't eat a
- 14:29Speaker 5: ton of fruit because she gets kind of like scratchy,
- 14:32Speaker 5: and like her lips get kind of like scratchy, and
- 14:34Speaker 5: her like throw it might get a little scratchy depending
- 14:36Speaker 5: on the fruit. It is fruit in certain kinds and
- 14:38Speaker 5: it has to do with like a Pallen reaction.
- 14:40Speaker 3: You're never like go to the hospital status, but.
- 14:43Speaker 2: You're telling me a strawberry is not like universally loved pineapple.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Isn't like those are my two favorites obviously.
- 14:52Speaker 5: I mean they're like like Caitlin responds by saying Nature's candy.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Weirdo happy Birthday.
- 15:00Speaker 5: I mean, you know, the two of them aren't like
- 15:01Speaker 5: super duper secretive, but they're also never going to post
- 15:05Speaker 5: each other.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I mean I hope they do one day, Like where
- 15:07Speaker 2: does this end? Like the two of them seem to
- 15:12Speaker 2: make a lot of sense. They've spent two years like
- 15:14Speaker 2: being like side by side at certain events. I mean,
- 15:18Speaker 2: at this point, are we really to believe that they
- 15:22Speaker 2: don't have some type of interest in each other?
- 15:26Speaker 5: Caitlin texted me or she didn't text me. We were
- 15:29Speaker 5: on a joint interview last week, that's where I heard it,
- 15:32Speaker 5: and she said that if she were married and had kids,
- 15:36Speaker 5: she still doesn't know that she would be posting her
- 15:40Speaker 5: husband and.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Kids, not that she wouldn't address the fact that she
- 15:43Speaker 3: was married.
- 15:44Speaker 5: She'd be like, hey, what's up, I'm married, Like she'd
- 15:45Speaker 5: say like, hey, what's up this is my husband, but
- 15:48Speaker 5: wouldn't necessarily like document their lives together as a family.
- 15:52Speaker 5: That's funny, which I go, that's a thought that you
- 15:56Speaker 5: have before you have kids. I know lots of people
- 15:58Speaker 5: will like obviously not show their kids' faces, but they
- 16:01Speaker 5: still document their lives.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I honestly would be more impressed if she did it,
- 16:07Speaker 2: simply from the fact that I don't know what I
- 16:09Speaker 2: would show about my life if my wife child we're
- 16:11Speaker 2: not involved, Like.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I don't know what else, Like what what did I post?
- 16:16Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're such a cool human that you had
- 16:19Speaker 2: so much happening outside of your family, that was cool
- 16:23Speaker 2: to post and share about. That's awesome. However, like, I
- 16:27Speaker 2: don't know what else I do I like? I mean, honestly,
- 16:31Speaker 2: half my evening is spent with a tickle fight with
- 16:34Speaker 2: my daughter and then chilling in bed with my wife,
- 16:36Speaker 2: like talking about the day. That's not postworthy either, So
- 16:40Speaker 2: I'm searching for those moments. I love my life. It's
- 16:43Speaker 2: an amazing life.
- 16:45Speaker 5: You'll find when the kids get older, you have plenty
- 16:48Speaker 5: of interesting things to share that you'll like laugh about,
- 16:51Speaker 5: and then you'll also say, hey, is this.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Normal or yeah, anyways, good for Kaylin keep doing kit
- 17:00Speaker 2: She's one of my favorite people in the world, and
- 17:02Speaker 2: she's always going to keep me intrigued. That's just the
- 17:06Speaker 2: way Caitlyn is. Hey, Bachelor Mansion Takeover show was announced,
- 17:22Speaker 2: it was given a premiere date. Actually, we know some
- 17:25Speaker 2: of the people. Honestly, we probably know everybody involved in
- 17:28Speaker 2: this show at some level, at least from this podcast
- 17:33Speaker 2: or from hanging out with him in person, some more
- 17:35Speaker 2: than others. When the show was originally told to me,
- 17:42Speaker 2: I thought, Hey, the mansion needs a renovation. It does
- 17:45Speaker 2: like nobody's gonna question that it needed a renovation. To
- 17:48Speaker 2: build a show around it sounds great for the homeowners.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Good for them, they get a free renovation with a
- 17:53Speaker 2: bunch of people trying hard to do it. Didn't know
- 17:56Speaker 2: exactly what kind of television show would make. I am
- 17:58Speaker 2: more now intrigued than ever. I actually think it could
- 18:01Speaker 2: be good for the franchise and really good for HGTV.
- 18:05Speaker 5: Yeah, the cast is really good. So the new show
- 18:09Speaker 5: will take twelve bacheloration stars and they're going to compete
- 18:12Speaker 5: against each other to renovate the mansion with a chance
- 18:15Speaker 5: to win.
- 18:16Speaker 3: One hundred thousand dollars.
- 18:19Speaker 5: So Jill Chen my friend, is going to be one
- 18:21Speaker 5: of the alums, alongside Sam McKinney, who we know from
- 18:26Speaker 5: this past season of well Gen Zeason and this past
- 18:29Speaker 5: season of Bachelor in Paradise. Joan, how do you say
- 18:33Speaker 5: Jones last name? She's always just joned to us, Joan Vassus, Like,
- 18:37Speaker 5: have we ever even said Jones last name?
- 18:40Speaker 2: Yeah? She can, she told me in an interview once
- 18:42Speaker 2: I could say either way. So like vasos is how
- 18:45Speaker 2: you could say earth?
- 18:46Speaker 3: Hilarious?
- 18:47Speaker 2: What's that like fancy water that people used to drink
- 18:50Speaker 2: like mos vaso?
- 18:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:52Speaker 2: I think is actually a proper way to do it.
- 18:54Speaker 5: Okay, So then Diana Anglert, Belle Courtney Robertson, Brandon Morris,
- 19:00Speaker 5: Sandra Mason from Golden Jeremy Simon also from this past season,
- 19:06Speaker 5: uh Noah, Herb Christopher Stalworth, Tammy Tammy, kay Lee, and
- 19:14Speaker 5: then Alisha. Okay, so let's go through this cast.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Let's say Jill Chin.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Yeah, so Jill makes sense, So let's go again. And also,
- 19:25Speaker 5: like the host is gonna be Jesse Palmer, which I'm
- 19:28Speaker 5: actually kind of like shocked by.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I'm shocked that he has any time.
- 19:32Speaker 5: I think they could have Tyler could have done that,
- 19:34Speaker 5: So Tyler and Tasha will be the judges. Tyler, obviously
- 19:39Speaker 5: we know he flips houses all the time. He is
- 19:41Speaker 5: like that, this is what this man grew up doing.
- 19:45Speaker 5: His family is in construction, has been. Then I know
- 19:50Speaker 5: that Jill is here in Rhode Island. She worked for
- 19:53Speaker 5: the Preservation Society in Newport, which is a really awesome job.
- 19:56Speaker 5: So she takes care of all of the Gilded Age mansions.
- 20:00Speaker 4: So that's on par.
- 20:02Speaker 5: Sam McKinney, I also believe is in some sort of construction.
- 20:08Speaker 5: I don't know what Jones is, but you tell me
- 20:11Speaker 5: in a minute. I'm just gonna go through who I know.
- 20:12Speaker 5: And Dean obviously is the handiest guy. Dean has flipped
- 20:17Speaker 5: their RV, built lots of things with its hands, done
- 20:22Speaker 5: the cars and all that. He like, totally refurbished a car.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Brendan Morris we know that. Yeah, he is also in carpentry.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Noah.
- 20:32Speaker 5: Also they flip their entire house and they documented the entire.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Thing for at least a year.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Tammy works for She's on.
- 20:43Speaker 5: The Oh my god, what is that show? What's the
- 20:46Speaker 5: real estate show that everybody loves? Not the selling Sunset,
- 20:50Speaker 5: selling sugnset, thank you, and then okay, so that is
- 20:55Speaker 5: off hand.
- 20:57Speaker 3: How I know these people work in houses.
- 21:00Speaker 2: No, it's a great cast. Alicia Getta, I think is
- 21:03Speaker 2: an interior designer or aspiring interior designer. I mean, all
- 21:08Speaker 2: these people have skill sets like the Courtney Robertson's of
- 21:10Speaker 2: the world obviously are incredibly creative. It's a really good cast,
- 21:18Speaker 2: I would say, of a really a lot of talented
- 21:20Speaker 2: people highlighting the talents that are available. And Tyler Cameron
- 21:24Speaker 2: makes a lot of sense. You know, Tasha, I don't
- 21:26Speaker 2: know her background in this world, but she's there, so
- 21:30Speaker 2: good for her. How Jesse Palmer had the time to
- 21:33Speaker 2: do an HGTV show is still a question that I'll
- 21:36Speaker 2: ask forever, because I don't know how that guy has
- 21:37Speaker 2: any time. You know, in his world. It's gonna be fun,
- 21:42Speaker 2: it's gonna be intriguing. There's a lot of people here
- 21:44Speaker 2: that make good television's that's a big win here, and
- 21:47Speaker 2: a lot of people that are very talented in their trades.
- 21:50Speaker 2: And so we'll get to watch that. The premier day
- 21:52Speaker 2: is March second, at five pm eight pm Eastern Time,
- 21:56Speaker 2: so that's five pm Pacific, eight pm Eastern time. That's
- 21:59Speaker 2: gonna be on HGTV, So again it's March second at
- 22:02Speaker 2: five pm Pacific, eight pm Eastern time. We're excited to
- 22:07Speaker 2: watch it. Here, Bachelor Mansion Takeover. Get the behind the
- 22:10Speaker 2: scenes of how the mansion will be revitalized, renewed. Here's
- 22:16Speaker 2: an interesting tidbit to close out with Ashley. This show
- 22:20Speaker 2: was filmed before Taylor Frankie Paul's season, so we will
- 22:24Speaker 2: get to see during this show the first looks at
- 22:29Speaker 2: what Taylor Frankie Paul's men will be living in when
- 22:31Speaker 2: it comes to the mansion and how that will look
- 22:33Speaker 2: and operate. I'm excited to see how they change it.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Here's the truth. I've lived in that mansion. You've lived
- 22:39Speaker 2: in that mansion. I've been escorted in and out of
- 22:42Speaker 2: that mansion. I have escorted others in and out of
- 22:44Speaker 2: that mansion. I've spent a lot of months in that mansion.
- 22:48Speaker 2: It's a beautiful property. Let's not at all say it's not.
- 22:51Speaker 2: But it was outdated, it was beat up, It needed
- 22:56Speaker 2: it needed a refresher. And I know that. You know
- 23:00Speaker 2: some of the iconic scenes in the Bachelor world have
- 23:04Speaker 2: been filmed in that old mansion. However, I'm hoping the
- 23:08Speaker 2: renovation doesn't change what we know but enhances what we've
- 23:13Speaker 2: always fallen in love with. That's my hope.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Well see, I know I've said it before, but I
- 23:16Speaker 5: don't know that I agree. I like the fact that
- 23:18Speaker 5: it's like Spanish inspired, we.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Don't know what it's going to change to it it's
- 23:23Speaker 2: still always It doesn't.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Be all dated to me. It feels timeless.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Actually, if you took a black light to that thing
- 23:31Speaker 2: after Bachelor Pad, it needed to be changed.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Okay, all right, we'll leave about that.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Last headline of Today, Katie Bigger and Zach Shellcross reveal
- 23:40Speaker 2: their timeline for kids and share moving updates and so
- 23:43Speaker 2: much more.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Okay, why do I feel like she's pregnant because she
- 23:47Speaker 5: posted a picture of her hugging and loved once baby
- 23:51Speaker 5: and then says hopefully sometime this year with a little
- 23:55Speaker 5: face covered emoji foreshadowing. I feel like the foreshadowing or
- 24:00Speaker 5: just like, ooh, am I actually pregnant?
- 24:02Speaker 3: He like I think that they may be trying.
- 24:04Speaker 4: We'll see.
- 24:06Speaker 5: She also said that like their house is going to
- 24:08Speaker 5: be kind of perfect for a baby to move into,
- 24:12Speaker 5: says it's going to be ready in May or June,
- 24:14Speaker 5: so you know how how things work, probably towards the
- 24:17Speaker 5: end of summer. But she says she can't wait to
- 24:21Speaker 5: decorate it. And they're going to be having their first
- 24:24Speaker 5: wedding anniversary coming up and they are planning on doing
- 24:28Speaker 5: it in Maine, and she wants all the recommendations that
- 24:30Speaker 5: you guys have.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Let's send it to her. I am with you. Actually,
- 24:34Speaker 2: I don't think time is far away from the two
- 24:38Speaker 2: of them adding in to the Bachelor family. Hey, this
- 24:41Speaker 2: has been the headlines for you this week. Again, we're
- 24:43Speaker 2: with Katie Thurston and her mom as they navigate breast
- 24:47Speaker 2: cancer together. Now that announcement just happened. Until next time,
- 24:54Speaker 2: I've been Ben.
- 24:55Speaker 4: I've been Ashley.
- 24:56Speaker 7: See guys.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Bye.
