- 0:52Welcome in to a very exciting episode of the scene.
- 0:54I'm your host, Bubba Sartz, and with us today is Dalton Jones.
- 0:57Dalton, welcome to the show, brother.
- 0:59Hey, Bubba.
- 1:00Thank you for having me, brother.
- 1:01I appreciate it.
- 1:02Yeah.
- 1:02Well, it's a pleasure.
- 1:03You came over from our good friend Willie and his show, Soul Impact.
- 1:08I was glad that we were able to get you over here on our sister network now.
- 1:12Absolutely.
- 1:13No.
- 1:13I we had a great time with Willie the other day, and he had nothing but good things to say
- 1:18about you.
- 1:19And, he said you need to get linked up with Bubba, so just glad to glad to be here.
- 1:24Awesome, man.
- 1:25Well, I before we get too far into it, I I know you've had a a busy time, especially, this week
- 1:31is a real busy one for you.
- 1:33But before we get to that, why don't you, take the floor and tell us a little bit about
- 1:37yourself and your background?
- 1:39Yeah.
- 1:39So, you know, I'm a a country boy born and bred.
- 1:43I grew up, in in here in rural Alabama.
- 1:46Lived here my whole life, just outside of a little town called Jacksonville.
- 1:51It's actually the home place of Raleigh Green.
- 1:54So if you follow country music, Raleigh's doing some phenomenal things in the space, but he
- 2:00grew up just right down the road from me.
- 2:01But this this little town is somewhere I've spent most of my life, and all my family's
- 2:07here.
- 2:08Grew up singing music.
- 2:10My dad is a is a pastor and minister, and so we were always in church when I was a kid before
- 2:16he became a pastor.
- 2:17And he was the choir director, and so he did a lot of music.
- 2:22He was given special music on the weekend or, you know, on Sundays and things.
- 2:26And I was about four years old, and daddy was always up there singing.
- 2:31And so one day on the way home from church, I said, hey, dad.
- 2:34I wanna sing with you.
- 2:35And he said, well, we'll we'll sing next week.
- 2:38So we got up and we sang a song called thank you, Lord.
- 2:41And I wish I could remember the name of the group who who wrote that song, and I'm gonna
- 2:45get it and write it down on a sticky note right here so I can have it for future.
- 2:49But we sang that song together, and all I knew was the chorus.
- 2:54And it was just like, thank you, Lord.
- 2:56And I just like, as a little kid, you know, I started singing that and didn't know how to
- 3:01regulate my voice, but it was a fun fun time.
- 3:03And I was hooked from that moment on and sang in in church, did a lot of things.
- 3:09And then at about 14 years old, I I started playing the guitar.
- 3:13My dad actually bought it for me at 10 years old and took a few lessons and found out real
- 3:18quick that that wasn't for me.
- 3:20I'm the I'm the kind of person I can't stand when somebody can do something, and I can't.
- 3:24So I the lessons did not go well.
- 3:27And so it sat in the corner of my room, collected dust for a few years, and then we
- 3:32finally got the nerve to pick it up and start teaching ourself.
- 3:35And so I I taught her taught myself to to play.
- 3:39And next thing you know, for several years, I did that and started singing in church again
- 3:45with the guitar and doing those types of things.
- 3:48And we launched our public music career, I would say, a little over a year ago in August.
- 3:55My wife had had been pushing me for ten years to do something with music, and we went to a
- 4:02concert.
- 4:03And I had we had the time of our lives.
- 4:05Just had a great time.
- 4:07And on the way home, looked at my wife.
- 4:10I said, we're doing music.
- 4:11And so when I got home, we wrote our first song, and the rest is history.
- 4:16Here we are today.
- 4:17So that's us in a nutshell.
- 4:20That's a lot.
- 4:21Yeah.
- 4:21That's amazing, man.
- 4:23I absolutely love it.
- 4:25I love that, you know, singing singing essentially since you could talk, really, and
- 4:30having that bug and kind of that trajectory.
- 4:33I I learned how to play guitar around that same age.
- 4:36I had played drums in concert band, like, grade.
- 4:39Right?
- 4:39So that'll you know, 10, 11 years old range.
- 4:42And then, by eighth grade, 13, 14 years old, right, Finally got a guitar in my hand, and I'd
- 4:49always been a singer.
- 4:50And there's just something about the six strings on a guitar and a human voice and the
- 4:55way that it goes together that I, you know, I say it's magic.
- 4:59And, it's the reason that we have so much good music that's kind of from that base, right, of
- 5:04of the guitar player, singer songwriter, if you will.
- 5:08Love that the wife has been pushing.
- 5:09What took you so long to listen to your wife, Dalton?
- 5:12Man, I'll tell you.
- 5:13You know, I I've always kinda been more of a, I guess, you would say a humble person.
- 5:21And, you know, I I I just I I knew I could sing.
- 5:25Right?
- 5:25You know, I I believe in having confidence in yourself.
- 5:28I knew I could sing, but, you know, I was just like, no.
- 5:30I'm I'm just you know, I'm the guy that sings on Sunday in in church and does the special
- 5:35music, and everybody kinda cheers and claps because they have to.
- 5:39You know?
- 5:39And so that was kinda my thought process.
- 5:42And my wife always would tell me, you know, we did karaoke a lot.
- 5:46And people, when I was out doing karaoke and stuff, they would tell me, Dalton, you know,
- 5:50you you got it.
- 5:51You need to do more.
- 5:52You need to do more.
- 5:53And, you know, I just always kinda brushed it off brushed it off.
- 5:57And we went to that concert, and we went to was rock the south here in Cullman, Alabama, which
- 6:03is a huge rock festival.
- 6:05I mean, there's, like, 30 or country country rock festival.
- 6:08There's 30,000 people out there.
- 6:11I mean, it's it's crazy.
- 6:13And they're in the middle of a cow pasture in the mud and then just you know?
- 6:17From seeing fist fights to to seeing people doing slip and slides in the mud because it was
- 6:23pouring down rain to just people drunk off their butts, having a great time.
- 6:28I mean, it was just awesome.
- 6:29It was absolutely awesome, like pure redneck chaos, and I'm just like, this is great.
- 6:35And then I hear these people singing that I hear on the radio every day that I think
- 6:39they're great singers, and I hear them singing on stage, and they still sound good.
- 6:42But I'm like, I think I think I could do that.
- 6:48And we went through the rest of that experience and just seeing all those people having so much
- 6:55joy and, you know, look at life and look at all the things going on in the world, which we
- 7:00could talk about all day.
- 7:01But I look at all those things, and I you know, there's one thing that I think everybody's able
- 7:05to connect on, and that's music.
- 7:07And so, you know, I I just I left there with a different perspective.
- 7:11And so we got in the car on the ride home, and I just looked at my wife, and I said, I'm I'm
- 7:16I'm doing music because I wanna bring joy to people that I saw this weekend.
- 7:21Like, that's what I wanna do.
- 7:23And so, that's kinda what started.
- 7:26I got I got the bug, man.
- 7:27I got bit.
- 7:28It bit me hard and, took over me.
- 7:31And so, you know, we just since then, been playing out, man.
- 7:36It's been a it's been a wild year.
- 7:38A wild year.
- 7:40I will say that.
- 7:40We played almost a 100 shows across eight, nine different counties here in Alabama, and it's
- 7:47just been wild.
- 7:48Been wild.
- 7:50We, we went and covered a a festival this year in Sioux Falls called Rock the Country, and I
- 7:56wonder if that's not
- 7:57It is.
- 7:57From the Rock the South.
- 7:59Okay.
- 7:59It was a great time, man.
- 8:01Kid rock was a headliner.
- 8:02Nickelback was the other headliner, but we saw That's
- 8:04his tour.
- 8:06Yeah.
- 8:06Yeah.
- 8:06It's Kid Rock's tour.
- 8:08Okay.
- 8:09Cool.
- 8:09Cool.
- 8:09He's kinda
- 8:10the he's the producer, whatever you would call it.
- 8:14Yeah.
- 8:14Okay.
- 8:15He put together rock the country.
- 8:17Well, it makes a lot of sense, man.
- 8:18Got to see Aaron Lewis and the state liners, and just the whole vibe was awesome, man.
- 8:22Afro man was there.
- 8:24That was
- 8:24super cool.
- 8:26So, yeah, just shout out to Kid Rock for for bringing us this beautiful tour and taking it
- 8:30out on the road this summer.
- 8:32I thought it was great.
- 8:33And to travel with something that big, I mean, it was fifty fifty sixty thousand people.
- 8:38It was massive.
- 8:39It was huge.
- 8:40Yeah.
- 8:40Really impressed with it.
- 8:42It's hard not to be inspired by those moments.
- 8:45Right?
- 8:46And you talked about, you know, music kinda being something that connects all of us.
- 8:51I lived in Mexico for a year.
- 8:53Throughout my travels, how I ended up there, can get into in another conversation.
- 8:57But truly a universal language.
- 9:00When I landed down there, I I wasn't really playing music at all.
- 9:04But when it came time to feed myself, I fell back on the one thing, up until that point that
- 9:09I'd always had in my back pocket.
- 9:11And I used to go down in the center of the square, you know, downtown in the town we were
- 9:15in, maybe 90,000, a 100,000 people.
- 9:18And I'd sit there all day on Sunday and make, you know, what most people are making working
- 9:22labor jobs in a day, right, for playing music, and it was that reminder.
- 9:27And I'd done that before.
- 9:28I was a busker.
- 9:29I got the bug early, Dalton.
- 9:31So I've been on the road with me and a guitar since I was, you know, 18 years old,
- 9:35essentially, and it took me everywhere.
- 9:38And once I figured out that, man, pretty much anytime I need a little bit of money, I can
- 9:42throw this guitar around, sing a few songs, make $20.40 bucks, feed myself, and get where I
- 9:47needed to go.
- 9:48And then then, of course, that evolved, right, to playing gigs later on.
- 9:51You know, 02/2009, put a band together with my dad and and really started to play out.
- 9:56And then I've been doing that ever since, man.
- 9:59It's crazy to look back and be like, jeez, you've really been in this, you know, two
- 10:02decades now, playing music professionally, I I guess.
- 10:06Right?
- 10:07I was making money doing it.
- 10:09So whether I was on the street or on a stage, like, you know, here we have a a Levitt
- 10:14Amphitheater that, you know, has four, five thousand people, I think, you can fit in there.
- 10:20It's a crazy life that this band, and I love that while you're not new to music, you're new
- 10:26to this part of it.
- 10:28And it's so exciting early on as you're starting to move and to to play around in
- 10:34different you know, getting outside of your hometown is is a big step too.
- 10:37Right?
- 10:38Getting out and playing for new crowds and new people, and that's only gonna feed you, man.
- 10:42The more you get out and you're playing for for other people that aren't, that don't have to
- 10:47clap.
- 10:47Right?
- 10:47You're outside of the church now.
- 10:49Right.
- 10:49They're not required to like you or to to, support you.
- 10:54But so when you feel that support, it feels that much better.
- 10:57Oh, yeah.
- 10:58Yeah.
- 10:58It is it's been, that that part of it, you know, it's it's you know, I I don't ever really
- 11:06do it for the attaboys.
- 11:07You know, it's great.
- 11:08I love it when people come up and, you know, I I've I've had people come to my shows and, you
- 11:14know, I had had a lady this past weekend that literally her and her husband came in late, and
- 11:19they said it was just happenstance that we were here.
- 11:21And I said, well, I don't believe in that.
- 11:23I don't believe in coincidences.
- 11:24Everything happens for a reason.
- 11:25And but they came in and just were blown away and then and loved the show.
- 11:30And she came up afterwards, and she said, I want your autograph.
- 11:33And I was like, I'm nobody.
- 11:35And she said, no.
- 11:37You're gonna be somebody, and I want your autograph.
- 11:39And I was like, man.
- 11:40I was just like, that.
- 11:42Wow.
- 11:42You know, when somebody comes up and says something to you like that, it's just like it's
- 11:47it's surreal.
- 11:48It really is surreal.
- 11:49And, you know, here I am.
- 11:51I'm just doing something I love.
- 11:52I just enjoy it.
- 11:53And getting to write music and tell stories and, you know, relate that are relatable to
- 11:58people.
- 11:59That's something that I've always tried to create since I started is, you know, that that
- 12:03genuineness of myself because I I've always been that kind of person with everything I do.
- 12:09I try to connect with people.
- 12:11I try to see the best in people and and bring the best out of them whether you know, no
- 12:15matter what situation it is.
- 12:17And so if my music can do that for somebody, then I feel like I've done a good thing.
- 12:23And that's that's what I'm about with it.
- 12:25And the world is just craving authenticity right now.
- 12:30Mhmm.
- 12:30When you look at pop music and it's just cookie cutter songs, they rehash everything.
- 12:36I think a lot of people, real music lovers, are craving something more.
- 12:41And we've lost a lot of really good artists that have just aged out.
- 12:44Right?
- 12:45And the music industry has really been on a slide for the last two decades.
- 12:50And the the pop music world, which is now completely infiltrated country music as well,
- 12:57it's just so blah.
- 12:59Right?
- 13:00It's bland.
- 13:01It's rehashed.
- 13:02And people while you like a good pop song every now and then and you put a little twang to it,
- 13:08and sure, they're fun to drink too, People really want music that touches their soul.
- 13:12And that's what music was always supposed to be, and it and it is.
- 13:16And I think that's why you have the, you know, the trajectories of a of a guy like Zach Bryan,
- 13:23right, where he just came on and said, no.
- 13:25I'm gonna do me, and I, you know, screw the industry and look what they've built.
- 13:29And it's just opened the door for so many other artists now, and not that Zach was the first by
- 13:34any means, but I really feel like the the outlaw country and more you know, not
- 13:39necessarily the sound, but the attitude of like, you know what?
- 13:43We're just gonna go do it.
- 13:44We're gonna be independent.
- 13:45We're gonna work with independent labels at that.
- 13:48Nobody's chasing a record deal anymore.
- 13:50It's why Spotify is changing their terms to just completely abuse artists even more and to
- 13:58you know?
- 13:58At this point, you you put your music on Spotify.
- 14:01You're signing a record deal that you don't even know.
- 14:03They're taking your licensing to all your music.
- 14:05I don't know if you plan on putting any music or have on there, but anyone else that's
- 14:10listening as well, do your homework on the terms.
- 14:12And I pulled all of my stuff.
- 14:13I pulled my podcast off of there.
- 14:16You know?
- 14:16I I don't care if I'm not making money over there.
- 14:19I am not going to support them to continue to just trample over independent artists that are
- 14:26out here just trying to get by and to put their art out there for music lovers.
- 14:32And, we'll find our own way, and we don't need you.
- 14:35You weren't doing much for me anyway.
- 14:37So thank you, but no thank you.
- 14:39We'll keep on moving.
- 14:41Now you talked about your wife, obviously, an influence for the push into the pool, if you
- 14:45will, but you talked about writing together with her as well.
- 14:48So is your wife are you performing as a duo, or what's kind of the the setup of the band?
- 14:54Yeah.
- 14:55So so right now, I'm doing mainly just solo stuff.
- 14:58You know, I've I've played one show with a full band, and we're still, you know, hopeful that
- 15:03we can make some things work there.
- 15:06Had a great great time with them.
- 15:07We actually played our very our our debut show, we played in front of 2,000 people.
- 15:12So I would say it was pretty successful.
- 15:15But my so my wife is a an an aspiring author.
- 15:20So she actually wrote her first novel and released it back in July, and so she's a very
- 15:26talented writer.
- 15:27And so it's kind of like having a a secret ace in the pocket, you know, per se that, you know,
- 15:34she she helps me write some of these songs.
- 15:36And so she's actually helped me write three or four of the songs that we've got now.
- 15:42And, of course, you know, I write too.
- 15:44We both I think we both have different talents in that space.
- 15:48And, you know, I I just try to write stuff from from my heart.
- 15:51And a lot of what I do is more ad libbing than anything.
- 15:55I would say I'd most of the songs I've written to date were just ad lib.
- 15:58I just pick up the guitar, start playing, and words just come out.
- 16:03Whereas she is the more technical, I'm gonna sit down and write it on paper person.
- 16:07And so I think it it creates a a happy marriage on more levels than one of, you know, how we
- 16:13can kinda work together and and really put out some good songs.
- 16:17And I would say some of the the better songs that that we've put out so far, were songs that
- 16:23we did together, and people kinda, you know, were able to resonate with that on different
- 16:27frequencies.
- 16:27And so it's been it's been really fun.
- 16:31Yeah.
- 16:31So, obviously, that's gonna continue to be part of the formula here moving forward.
- 16:36Like you said, having the ace in the hole there, you gotta use it.
- 16:40Yeah.
- 16:40You gotta play it.
- 16:41So, you let missus Jones know that she is more than welcome to come on and do her own
- 16:46interview, and we'll talk about that novel that she just wrote.
- 16:49The Scene Projects isn't just about music.
- 16:52We like to get all kinds of creatives on here to share their stories, and and we got a few
- 16:56other people in the network that would love to speak to her as well.
- 16:59So love that.
- 17:01My my wife and I don't write songs together, but I've written some songs about her that have
- 17:05been some of our best.
- 17:07So so I know the inspiration of having someone that you love that inspires you right there
- 17:13sleeping next to you every night.
- 17:14I know what that can bring to the table, man.
- 17:16So good for the both of you.
- 17:19Yes.
- 17:20Yes.
- 17:20So I know you got a busy week.
- 17:22Not only are you coming on our live show, love noise this week, but you're, you're going into
- 17:27the studio too.
- 17:28Your first time in the studio?
- 17:30Yeah.
- 17:31This is man, I so you could tell I've got a very simple setup here at the house.
- 17:37So most all the music we've put out or I say most all of the music that we have put out,
- 17:42I've mixed and mastered myself, and it's not it's not professional professional quality.
- 17:49I would say I've done my very best on it, and it I think it turned out well, and we've had a
- 17:53lot of people that's enjoyed it.
- 17:54But this will be my first time in an actual studio with an actual producer.
- 18:01Super excited.
- 18:02The producer I'm working with is a phenomenal guy.
- 18:05He's worked with some amazing artists.
- 18:08You know, he's worked with uncle Cracker.
- 18:10So uncle cracker, he's he's helped produce some stuff for him.
- 18:14He's worked with another kind of a hiring country music artist, Austin Snell.
- 18:20He's more, I'd say, country rock, kind of that pop country type genre.
- 18:26And then he also just worked on the new album that there's a country rapper.
- 18:30He's so he's very diverse.
- 18:32That's one thing I love about him is he works with a lot of different type of artists.
- 18:37But there's a country rapper called Big Smo.
- 18:39I think he's from Tennessee, and he just helped him produce his new album.
- 18:45And he just does a phenomenal job.
- 18:48He's he can play every instrument.
- 18:50He cuts all the tracks pretty much by himself, and he is really, really talented with his
- 18:56vocal mixes, which was the big reason why I wanted to work with him because he's known for
- 19:02his vocal mixing talent and engineering talent.
- 19:06And, you know, I feel like I'm I I know that I don't have the greatest voice in the world, but
- 19:11also I know that my voice has some character and, you know, I have a lot of raspiness and
- 19:16and different things to my voice that I feel like he could bring the best out in that.
- 19:21So I'm really excited about, you know, what we're gonna do.
- 19:24We're gonna put an EP out.
- 19:27We're gonna work on three songs to start off.
- 19:30We have a I got a full album put together, but we're gonna start with those three songs, cut
- 19:34them, get them put out.
- 19:36I've talked to a few radio stations here locally.
- 19:40I think Willie's been up there kinda advocating for me in some place with you guys.
- 19:45So, you know, I've got a bunch of people on my team and and people that support me and love me
- 19:49and what I do and are trying to help.
- 19:52And that's been the I think the greatest thing about all of this is that, you know, I know I
- 19:59can advocate for myself all day.
- 20:01We can I I believe that you've got to to some extent?
- 20:06But, you know, the people that have kinda come on board and started supporting me as I've done
- 20:10this and most most all of them, I would say it was because they were just able to relate to
- 20:14me.
- 20:16But, you know, it it's been fantastic, and those people have really kinda helped me to get
- 20:20to where I am today, the growth and everything that we've seen with the music and what we're
- 20:25doing.
- 20:26So I'm just I'm excited.
- 20:27I'm really excited about these songs.
- 20:30They're good songs.
- 20:31They're good songs.
- 20:33And I know that, with what, Josh is gonna be able to do with them, they're gonna be they're
- 20:40gonna be phenomenal.
- 20:41I'm I'm just I'm excited.
- 20:42I can't wait to hear what it's gonna be like when we get done.
- 20:44That's what I'm waiting for.
- 20:46Now coming from the church, I'm going to assume that you have a little bit of experience
- 20:51singing harmony parts and things like that.
- 20:54When you produced your your own stuff, were you working on harmony parts and kinda layering
- 20:59vocals in there?
- 21:00I didn't.
- 21:01To be honest with you, I didn't do a whole lot of that, and that was, you know, partially just
- 21:06because, you know, I really didn't know what I was doing.
- 21:08Number one, I was just learning as I was going.
- 21:11I'm I'm really tech savvy.
- 21:13I work in in the tech industry with my full time role currently.
- 21:17And so, you know, anything technology related, I can usually figure out and and make it at
- 21:23least seem very well done.
- 21:25But, yeah, I I I didn't.
- 21:28I do know a lot about harmony.
- 21:29I was in choir coming up in school, so I I was in choral class in school.
- 21:35And then, of course, I I I sang in the choir and did different things at the church as well
- 21:39growing up.
- 21:40So I've got background experience in that.
- 21:43And I I know working with with a guy like Josh, he'll be able to say, alright.
- 21:48Now we cut that that.
- 21:49Let's do it again.
- 21:50Sing it a little different.
- 21:51Alright.
- 21:52Now let's do some harmony.
- 21:53So I'm sure he'll he'll wanna throw some things in there.
- 21:56And the I think that's one thing that I've with the experience I've had in music is that I'm
- 22:02multi multi toned, I would say.
- 22:06I I I'm I'm really I would say my natural range is baritone, but, you know, I've been known to
- 22:11sing some way down bass, like some Josh Turner type stuff, and then all the way go up to on
- 22:17the higher end.
- 22:18You know, I do some things like Leonard Skynyrd and, you know, oh gosh.
- 22:27One of my favorite songs all time to sing is wicked game by Chris Isaacs.
- 22:31And if you've if you've ever heard that song, it it it's up there.
- 22:35So, you know, I've I have a a very broad range, and so I'm hoping that working with him, he'll
- 22:41be able to bring that stuff out.
- 22:44He'll he'll have a better understanding of it than what I do.
- 22:47And that's that's what you pay for when you go to work with a with an experienced producer.
- 22:53It's somebody who's been there before and kinda done that that can say, hey.
- 22:57Try this.
- 22:57Where us working in our home studios, I've I've recorded some stuff.
- 23:01I've never released anything that I've recorded at home.
- 23:04It's mostly been demo so that I could show other people, hey.
- 23:07This is kinda what the song is.
- 23:09But having worked with just a a good friend of mine, but who has a ton of experience in his
- 23:13studio and just the little tips that he hey.
- 23:16Try this.
- 23:17You wanna run this one more time?
- 23:18You wanna do this?
- 23:19It made the songs that I've been working on here, the last year or so that much better.
- 23:25And and now that they're kind of in the mixing phase and we're getting ready to master these
- 23:29things and release them, hopefully, in the next month or two, it's some of the best work I've
- 23:35ever done.
- 23:36And and that would have never come across if I didn't choose to hire professionals to do their
- 23:42job.
- 23:43Right?
- 23:43To to let them kinda cook with with the things that we're bringing.
- 23:47Because I know that, you know, the songs I have, I think they're good songs.
- 23:51Right?
- 23:51I'm bringing this out to the to the table and putting it out there.
- 23:55Help me make it better.
- 23:56Right?
- 23:57And I think when you start to work with, good people, right, people that are not just there
- 24:03to take your money but are really interested in helping you to craft and make your art as good
- 24:08as it can be, that that's when the magic really happens.
- 24:12So thrilled for you, man.
- 24:14I'm so excited to, well, to talk to you tomorrow night from when we film this and to
- 24:20hear how it went.
- 24:21But then, of course, to hear the songs down the line when they get fully produced and released
- 24:26out there, hopefully not on the Spotify, and out into the world.
- 24:32And and we're gonna find a way to promote them on all of our stuff, the scene projects.
- 24:36Radio is up and running now, so we'll definitely be sure to share it on there.
- 24:41And thank you, man.
- 24:42That was a big step.
- 24:43Something I've had in the back of my head for a long time, and I just I do too much already,
- 24:47Dalton.
- 24:48So until I had the team, Willie, our other producer, Boo Boo, have been so influential and
- 24:53pulling things off of my plate.
- 24:55And I know Willie is a DJ in his regular gig.
- 24:57Right?
- 24:57He he's running his own production company.
- 25:00Shout out to Backwoods Productions.
- 25:02And everything that he's doing, I knew that he would jump in full force into this with me if I
- 25:08just gave him a little guidance.
- 25:09So He's a good team.
- 25:11So grateful.
- 25:12So grateful for a a brilliant team, and it sounds like you've got a great one as well.
- 25:16Dalton, before I let you go, where can people find you online, and where can they take a
- 25:20listen to the stuff you've got out there?
- 25:22Yeah.
- 25:23So we're on all the social medias, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, all the things.
- 25:29You can look up Dalton Jones music or Dalton Jones official.
- 25:34It's it's it's one or the other.
- 25:36I couldn't do Dalton Jones music on everything because it was taken.
- 25:39So Dalton Jones music or Dalton Jones official.
- 25:42We do have some music out on streaming platforms.
- 25:44It's on everything right now, but I'm with you with Spotify.
- 25:48I don't plan on releasing anything else to them until they fix that with those terms of
- 25:54service.
- 25:54So we do have some music that's on on Amazon Prime, on YouTube Music, all that good stuff.
- 26:01Spotify, it's on there.
- 26:02It's on Pandora, iHeartRadio.
- 26:04It's on literally everything right now.
- 26:07And then, of course, you know, we also are on bands in town.
- 26:11Of course, it it depends on where you're listening from right now.
- 26:15All of our shows have been in Alabama, but I'm hoping that it's about to spread out way from
- 26:20there.
- 26:20So you can find me on bands in town as well and kinda see our schedule.
- 26:25So if you're making a trip down here to Alabama or if you're in Alabama, you can come and see
- 26:29us.
- 26:30Awesome, man.
- 26:31Well, Dalton, just keep on going.
- 26:33That's the only advice I can give you in your young music career.
- 26:37Before you know it, you'll look back, and those hundreds of shows will be thousands of shows.
- 26:42You'll have made a ton of memories and a ton of friends out there, and it just, it's thrilling.
- 26:48It's thrilling to see someone at the beginning of their journey having a lot of success and
- 26:52and in the middle of it.
- 26:54And you, you're a reason that I started doing this in the first place, and I built the scene
- 26:58projects was to support, guys just like you.
- 27:02So, Dalton Jones, thanks for being part of the scene.
- 27:05Hey.
- 27:05Yes, sir.
- 27:06Thank you for having me.
- 27:06We appreciate what you do.
