- 1:00Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well, I've got a
- 1:04Speaker 1: juicy show for you. We're going to get into some
- 1:09Speaker 1: hot topics. Then I have a great interview I did
- 1:11Speaker 1: with one of the other people besides myself that is
- 1:15Speaker 1: heavily featured in the House of Kardashian documentary, which is
- 1:19Speaker 1: now available on Peacock. And a lot of people are
- 1:22Speaker 1: watching it. A lot of people have questions. We go
- 1:24Speaker 1: through a lot that was not covered, that was cut
- 1:27Speaker 1: out from the doc. We are going to get into it.
- 1:30Speaker 1: It's really juicy. And then also I do have an
- 1:33Speaker 1: airing update. I'm just waiting to get a little more information.
- 1:38Speaker 1: So that'll be later on once it comes, but I
- 1:41Speaker 1: wanted to get this part of the show recorded for
- 1:44Speaker 1: you guys to listen to and enjoy, but we have
- 1:47Speaker 1: that later. Okay. Here's some juicy fun that has been
- 1:51Speaker 1: going crazy. There's some guy that's a contestant on FBoy
- 1:56Speaker 1: Island and And he's pretty cute. And he went on
- 1:59Speaker 1: a podcast, which is now, this clip has gone viral,
- 2:03Speaker 1: where he's talking to some other dude who's also attractive
- 2:08Speaker 1: about how he had a threesome with two real housewives
- 2:11Speaker 1: of Beverly Hills. And he said, yeah, I did them both.
- 2:17Speaker 1: And then the mom went out and she was on
- 2:20Speaker 1: the trampoline within minutes of me finishing or something, bouncing around.
- 2:25Speaker 1: So when the husband came home, he didn't think anything
- 2:28Speaker 1: of it that I was there, that she was on
- 2:30Speaker 1: the trampoline bouncing around with her kids. He then goes
- 2:33Speaker 1: on to say, shortly after I got a message from
- 2:37Speaker 1: the husband and he said, oh, you do real estate
- 2:40Speaker 1: at the time he was doing real estate. come meet
- 2:43Speaker 1: me out for lunch. And then he had some guy
- 2:46Speaker 1: that looked like he was in the FBI or something
- 2:48Speaker 1: with him. And he's like, if you ever mess with
- 2:50Speaker 1: my wife again, watch out. That's his story. So, of course,
- 2:55Speaker 1: everybody is speculating. Now, is this even true? Could he
- 3:00Speaker 1: have thought they're real housewives of Beverly Hills? But maybe
- 3:02Speaker 1: they were saying they were going to be on a
- 3:05Speaker 1: reality show and they were doing a reel and it
- 3:07Speaker 1: never happened. The guy looks pretty young. So how many
- 3:12Speaker 1: seasons ago was this from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
- 3:17Speaker 1: Mostly people think it's Carlton, who was on one season
- 3:21Speaker 1: like 10 years ago. She was a witch. She was
- 3:25Speaker 1: into Wicca and she lived in like a medieval house
- 3:29Speaker 1: that eventually Josh Altman sold. And she and her husband
- 3:33Speaker 1: were swingers and they were pretty open about it. She
- 3:36Speaker 1: was definitely bi and she and Brandy talked about making
- 3:40Speaker 1: out in her pool one afternoon after having lots of
- 3:43Speaker 1: Sauvignon Blanc. And so the consensus in the comments is
- 3:48Speaker 1: people believe it is Brandy Glanville and maybe this woman Carlton.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I say, who the hell knows? Since the beginning of time,
- 3:59Speaker 1: men have bragged and exaggerated and lied about banging chicks,
- 4:04Speaker 1: whether it's in the locker room or now behind a
- 4:06Speaker 1: mic on a podcast. There's no way of knowing, but
- 4:10Speaker 1: it made the weekend kind of fun. And who the
- 4:12Speaker 1: hell knows? Okay. Oh, this was interesting. Leanne Rimes has
- 4:17Speaker 1: commented about in light of reading Britney Spears' book, She says,
- 4:23Speaker 1: I dealt with the same thing. I was a child star.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I was a teenager singer that felt very controlled. She
- 4:32Speaker 1: had a falling out with her dad, who was a
- 4:36Speaker 1: managing partner in her life. And I thought that was
- 4:39Speaker 1: really interesting. And she said, only until about the last
- 4:41Speaker 1: five years have I been able to say no, professionally, personally, everything,
- 4:46Speaker 1: because I was such a yes girl being a teen
- 4:49Speaker 1: in this business. So I thought that was really interesting
- 4:52Speaker 1: in relating to Britney. F1 in Las Vegas, I guess,
- 4:57Speaker 1: was a big dud as far as notions. I actually
- 5:00Speaker 1: have heard both. I've seen videos of people walking through
- 5:03Speaker 1: casinos that are completely empty. Other people saying they're completely
- 5:07Speaker 1: empty because everybody is watching the F1 race. Other people
- 5:12Speaker 1: are saying, oh, the price has plummeted. Then there's video
- 5:15Speaker 1: of Paris Hilton coming to do a DJ gig at
- 5:19Speaker 1: I think the Virgin Hotel and the room scans and
- 5:22Speaker 1: it's half full and she's like pissed and there's comments
- 5:25Speaker 1: about that. Who knows? Sometimes with these big moments, especially
- 5:29Speaker 1: in Las Vegas, it makes people completely avoid going to
- 5:33Speaker 1: that city or going to Las Vegas because they're like,
- 5:36Speaker 1: if I'm not interested in going to the F1 thing,
- 5:38Speaker 1: I don't even want to be there. That is just
- 5:41Speaker 1: going to be a shithole or whatever. It's going to
- 5:43Speaker 1: be a rat fuck. So I don't know. So I
- 5:47Speaker 1: thought that was pretty interesting how sometimes these things that
- 5:50Speaker 1: get so built up then turn out to be kind
- 5:52Speaker 1: of like a financial bust. Okay, now some very juicy
- 5:57Speaker 1: and disturbing news that happened just within 24 hours. The
- 6:01Speaker 1: news broke that Cassie Ventura, who was an artist that
- 6:07Speaker 1: worked with P. Diddy, they started dating back in the
- 6:11Speaker 1: early 2000s. 2005 is actually when they started to date,
- 6:16Speaker 1: she and P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Sean Combs.
- 6:20Speaker 1: And she was one of his artists and she was
- 6:22Speaker 1: very talented and And they had this relationship that went
- 6:26Speaker 1: on for many years. And she came forward with a
- 6:30Speaker 1: $ 30 million lawsuit. And the claims in this lawsuit were
- 6:35Speaker 1: absolutely shocking. She said that he physically kicked her many times,
- 6:41Speaker 1: one time in the face so badly that she had
- 6:43Speaker 1: to recover in a hotel for a week. He also
- 6:45Speaker 1: kicked her on another occasion because she was talking to
- 6:48Speaker 1: a different agent. He always had guns around and he
- 6:52Speaker 1: even gave her a gun to carry just to let
- 6:55Speaker 1: her know how intimidating he was. All these stories are
- 6:59Speaker 1: coming out about P. Diddy. 50 Cent is commenting. It's,
- 7:05Speaker 1: there's videos being made, people pointing out strange coincidences, like
- 7:11Speaker 1: every single partner that started with P. Diddy with his
- 7:14Speaker 1: record label are all but one besides P. Diddy, I
- 7:17Speaker 1: think are now deceased, all kind of by heart attack
- 7:21Speaker 1: or Kim Porter, who was the mother of his children.
- 7:25Speaker 1: And also one of the, I think it was, yes,
- 7:26Speaker 1: she was the mother of P. Diddy's children. She passed
- 7:29Speaker 1: away a People think that's strange. There's a lot of
- 7:34Speaker 1: conspiracy theories going on. All of these people allegedly had
- 7:37Speaker 1: books coming out, including Cassie. Tell all books about P.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Diddy.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I had mentioned a couple months before when P. Diddy
- 7:47Speaker 1: announced that he is giving the rights, the publishing rights
- 7:51Speaker 1: of all of his artists, he's giving it back to them.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Isn't that wonderful? Isn't that so sweet? And I said,
- 7:57Speaker 1: I don't think this is his Christian service. I think
- 8:00Speaker 1: he's doing this Because something's coming down and he wants
- 8:04Speaker 1: them to be grateful that they have their publishing rights back,
- 8:08Speaker 1: which is extremely financially good for the artists. According to
- 8:12Speaker 1: Aubrey O'Day, this was offered before, and it also involved
- 8:16Speaker 1: signing an NDA in which they could never talk about P. Diddy,
- 8:21Speaker 1: along with receiving their publishing rights back. There's a lot
- 8:24Speaker 1: of information like this going around. But within this lawsuit,
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's really shocking. He threatened to blow up... the kid
- 8:34Speaker 1: Cootie's car because she was like talking to him or
- 8:36Speaker 1: he thought that he was flirting with her. And, you know,
- 8:40Speaker 1: this was all about controlling Cassie for all these years,
- 8:44Speaker 1: even though he had other relationships and whatnot, he was
- 8:47Speaker 1: always controlling her with physical abuse, sexual abuse, and also
- 8:52Speaker 1: sex trafficked. She was sex trafficked according to the lawsuit
- 8:56Speaker 1: in which she said, He would bring male prostitutes in,
- 9:00Speaker 1: in which she'd have to have coercive sex with them.
- 9:03Speaker 1: And he would film it and he called it freaky
- 9:06Speaker 1: deekies and got her and, you know, said it was
- 9:08Speaker 1: voyeurism and all this. And other people and rappers had
- 9:12Speaker 1: referred to his freaky deekies. Getting back to Kid Cudi's car,
- 9:17Speaker 1: at one point Kid Cudi's car did blow up. I
- 9:20Speaker 1: don't know if we ever knew who did that, but
- 9:21Speaker 1: those were the other things. Also, I heard back in
- 9:24Speaker 1: the late nineties when I was out trying to get
- 9:29Speaker 1: with a manager. I remember one manager said, oh yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I work with J-Lo and Puff Daddy. And we had
- 9:36Speaker 1: a meeting and this was like a normal office like
- 9:39Speaker 1: in Wilshire. And this is what this guy told me.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So this is his story. It's alleged. But during the meeting,
- 9:46Speaker 1: the way they start the meetings is Sean Combs, Puff Daddy,
- 9:51Speaker 1: Puff Daddy, P. Diddy would put down his gun on
- 9:54Speaker 1: the table before they even started talking about like an
- 9:57Speaker 1: entertainment deal.
- 9:58Speaker 2: So.
- 10:00Speaker 1: There is a lot that's coming out that, you know,
- 10:05Speaker 1: to the insiders of this world, no, they're not shocked.
- 10:08Speaker 1: To the people like me, well, now I think about
- 10:10Speaker 1: this gun story, which I remember thinking, really? Like Puff
- 10:14Speaker 1: Daddy didn't seem to me like a scary thug criminal.
- 10:19Speaker 1: He really didn't. And I think to the average person,
- 10:22Speaker 1: they didn't see him like that. And now this is
- 10:24Speaker 1: all out there. So there's a lot coming out, but
- 10:28Speaker 1: there probably won't be as much coming out because the
- 10:31Speaker 1: case was settled within 24 hours. It was settled. And
- 10:35Speaker 1: part of that settlement is that she and her husband, Cassie,
- 10:39Speaker 1: and their two kids could go live their life and
- 10:41Speaker 1: they're not going to speak about it again. And he
- 10:45Speaker 1: gave the money. His attorney was, I think, someone who
- 10:48Speaker 1: used to work for Harvey Weinstein. And he said the
- 10:51Speaker 1: settlement in no way is saying that he was at
- 10:54Speaker 1: all guilty. But yeah, this is bad. And he did
- 10:58Speaker 1: not want this dragged out to try to save a
- 11:01Speaker 1: few million dollars. I don't know what $ 30 million is
- 11:04Speaker 1: to him. I assume if she asked for 30, that's
- 11:06Speaker 1: what she got, being that it was 24 hours. I
- 11:09Speaker 1: don't think she settled for eight, but that's just my opinion.
- 11:13Speaker 1: And so maybe he's like, my God, I'm worth whatever.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Someone could probably tell me how much he's worth. But
- 11:19Speaker 1: if he's worth 100, $ 200 million, 30 million is not
- 11:22Speaker 1: going to change his lifestyle at all. And if he
- 11:25Speaker 1: can keep people from not talking about this, then that
- 11:29Speaker 1: is the way to go. Because it seems to be
- 11:31Speaker 1: a lot of corroboration, if I'm saying that right. A
- 11:37Speaker 1: lot of people corroborating these kinds of stories about him.
- 11:40Speaker 1: There's videos of him with Justin Bieber feeling nervous. And
- 11:45Speaker 1: there's stories of men, women, teenagers, everything that is not
- 11:51Speaker 1: good for him. So that was crazy. Um, let me see, uh, Zahara, uh, Zahara,
- 11:59Speaker 1: who is Angelina Jolie's daughter. She is loving college at Spelman.
- 12:03Speaker 1: She joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and, uh, Angelina
- 12:09Speaker 1: was there for, I guess, uh, prison sites. That's what
- 12:11Speaker 1: we called it in our day. She seems to wear
- 12:14Speaker 1: a white dress and that's what we would wear. And like,
- 12:16Speaker 1: oftentimes parents would come if they could make it. And
- 12:19Speaker 1: she has removed Pitt from her name. You know, she
- 12:23Speaker 1: is over 18. So I guess if she wants to
- 12:25Speaker 1: do that, she can. And Brad Pitt was not present.
- 12:29Speaker 1: So that was interesting. But she's getting... Angelina Jolie is
- 12:32Speaker 1: just getting a lot of praise for the way she
- 12:35Speaker 1: has raised her daughter, their strong relationship being that her
- 12:38Speaker 1: daughter was adopted. And the daughter seems extremely happy. And
- 12:41Speaker 1: I think that's very cool. Bianca, Kanye's wife. Finally, maybe
- 12:48Speaker 1: she was listening to Juicy Scoop, but.
- 12:52Speaker 1: According to these reports, sources close to her finally got
- 12:57Speaker 1: to her. They kind of had a friend and family
- 13:00Speaker 1: intervention and they are allegedly taking a break. They aren't together.
- 13:05Speaker 1: And Kanye is having trouble getting his music published. He
- 13:09Speaker 1: is still making horrible anti-Semitic remarks in songs, allegedly. And
- 13:15Speaker 1: everyone's just like, ugh. But it got to the point
- 13:18Speaker 1: where she wasn't allowed to speak. She had to wear,
- 13:20Speaker 1: you know, nylons up to her nipples and walk around
- 13:23Speaker 1: holding a pillow through Paris and Italy. And hopefully she's
- 13:28Speaker 1: enough time away from someone. When you're in a cult-like
- 13:33Speaker 1: relationship or, you know, type of situation like that, whether
- 13:38Speaker 1: it's a group of people and everybody's sucked into one
- 13:41Speaker 1: person or it's an actual cult or it's a relationship
- 13:44Speaker 1: where they have isolated you from everybody else, Each day
- 13:48Speaker 1: that you're away from that narcissistic, horrible person, I think
- 13:51Speaker 1: will be a day closer to you seeing what was
- 13:56Speaker 1: actually happening. So this girl is young and pretty. I
- 14:00Speaker 1: don't know much about her, but obviously I'm team get
- 14:03Speaker 1: the hell away from Kanye if you're a woman.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Your home changes over time. The kitchen gets louder, the
- 14:09Speaker 4: mornings get busier, and suddenly you're wondering, is it time
- 14:12Speaker 4: for more space? A better layout? Somewhere close to great
- 14:16Speaker 4: schools or near the sea? On daft.ie, you'll find stunning
- 14:20Speaker 4: family homes for sale across South Dublin. From Blackrock to Foxrock,
- 14:24Speaker 4: Dundrum to Dockie. So when you're ready for the next chapter,
- 14:27Speaker 4: start with Ireland's number one property platform, daft.ie.
- 14:32Speaker 3: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 14:35Speaker 3: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 14:38Speaker 3: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 14:43Speaker 3: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 14:51Speaker 2: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 14:53Speaker 2: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 14:56Speaker 2: was given back?
- 14:57Speaker 3: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 15:00Speaker 3: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 15:02Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 15:04Speaker 2: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 15:06Speaker 2: started crying. Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 15:09Speaker 3: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 15:13Speaker 3: go through.
- 15:13Speaker 2: It's about what happens next.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 15:22Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 15:24Speaker 3: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 15:39Speaker 1: Um, oh, I also saw that, uh, Megan and Harry, uh, uh,
- 15:44Speaker 1: Tyler Perry was talking and he said, you know, we
- 15:47Speaker 1: were not introduced by Oprah. I reached out to them
- 15:50Speaker 1: in which then she, Megan was treating me like a therapist.
- 15:54Speaker 1: And then she stayed at my house for weeks and
- 15:55Speaker 1: weeks and I provided security for them and travel and,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you know, they're just great. So We haven't been hearing
- 16:02Speaker 1: a lot about them. I don't know what they're going
- 16:05Speaker 1: to do with their entertainment career, but I thought that
- 16:07Speaker 1: was interesting. And speaking of entertainment, Kim Kardashian is going
- 16:10Speaker 1: to be starring in a comedy called The Fifth Wheel.
- 16:13Speaker 1: And that is written by Paula Pell, who's a very
- 16:15Speaker 1: funny writer who comes from SNL. She's written lots of
- 16:18Speaker 1: movies and things. And Kim is going to be in
- 16:21Speaker 1: it and producing it. And I actually think that's a
- 16:23Speaker 1: great move. I think that she could be great in it.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I think it's a great way to get eyes on
- 16:28Speaker 1: your movie and get it done. And I think it's
- 16:31Speaker 1: a smart move that she's moving into. So all of
- 16:34Speaker 1: that fun and juicy. Okay, so now speaking of the
- 16:37Speaker 1: Kardashians and where they've come, as I said, I was
- 16:40Speaker 1: part of this documentary and we have David on that
- 16:44Speaker 1: was also featured. You're going to hear from him and
- 16:47Speaker 1: he goes way back to the very beginning of Kim
- 16:51Speaker 1: and Ray J and how he has the insights group
- 16:53Speaker 1: that wasn't even revealed in the documentary. And it was
- 16:56Speaker 1: a real juicy, kind of juicy history, also conversation that
- 17:02Speaker 1: we had. So let's get into that now. Well, I
- 17:05Speaker 1: have a juicy one here. I guess we would be
- 17:08Speaker 1: co-stars at a doc.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yes.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm here with David Weintraub.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Weintraub.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Traub.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Traub.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Weintraub. We've known each other, run through Hollywood. I've seen
- 17:21Speaker 1: you through stuff. And then you contacted me because you're like,
- 17:25Speaker 1: have you watched the doc yet about House of Kardashians?
- 17:27Speaker 1: I had not. Now I've watched the three episodes. You're
- 17:31Speaker 1: in a lot of it. There's really not that many
- 17:33Speaker 1: people in this that I saw.
- 17:35Speaker 2: No.
- 17:36Speaker 1: And there's only three episodes, but I feel like, do
- 17:38Speaker 1: you think they're going to release more? I feel like
- 17:40Speaker 1: there's got to be more.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I mean, this thing is, it only covered, Chris, Kim,
- 17:45Speaker 2: and really Kylie. So it's right.
- 17:47Speaker 1: It only really covered to right to like Kylie success.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Yeah. So there, I mean, there's a lot, I mean, they,
- 17:54Speaker 2: they didn't use a lot of stuff. I mean, we
- 17:55Speaker 2: shot a lot of stuff. They didn't use a lot.
- 17:57Speaker 2: They didn't tell any stuff about me being Scott Disick's
- 18:00Speaker 2: manager too. They left, that whole thing out to not
- 18:03Speaker 2: make the correlation that I was Ray J's manager and
- 18:06Speaker 2: Scott Disick's manager at the same time.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Okay, so David, let's just get a little background on you.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So you are like a Hollywood kid, but you went
- 18:14Speaker 1: on the business side. Like what is your story?
- 18:17Speaker 2: Well, my story is I grew up in Beverly Hills
- 18:20Speaker 2: and I grew up, you know.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Amongst the- Did you go to Beverly Hills High?
- 18:24Speaker 2: No, I went to Curtis and then I went to
- 18:25Speaker 2: Montclair Prep and then I studied business at USC.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Oh, okay, great.
- 18:30Speaker 2: So I grew up in the private school system and
- 18:32Speaker 2: I come from a family of, you know, doctors, lawyers,
- 18:35Speaker 2: and professors. But being in that private school system, you
- 18:38Speaker 2: have so many families.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Oh, I thought one of your parents or both of
- 18:44Speaker 1: them were part of... The movie business.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Well, everybody thinks that I'm Jerry Weintraub's son, but you
- 18:51Speaker 2: didn't understand that.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Got it.
- 18:52Speaker 2: And I grew up with Jerry Weintraub's kids, so they
- 18:55Speaker 2: always thought that we were all brothers and sisters.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But you were not related.
- 18:58Speaker 2: We're not related.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Oh, got it.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Okay. But once a Weintraub, always a Weintraub. And we're
- 19:02Speaker 2: all friends. And one of my best friends married Jerry's daughter.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Sean Stewart just married Jody Weintraub. Oh, wow. So it's
- 19:09Speaker 2: all intertwined.
- 19:10Speaker 1: And Sean Stewart is the son of.
- 19:14Speaker 2: of Rod Stewart.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Rod Stewart.
- 19:16Speaker 2: And we had a TV show together called The Sun.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Sons of Anarchy, right?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Sons of Hollywood.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Like Sons of Hollywood.
- 19:21Speaker 2: For A & E, yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Sons of Hollywood. And it was you and Spelling. Yep.
- 19:27Speaker 1: What was his name?
- 19:27Speaker 2: Randy.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Randy Spelling. It was just the three of you.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Three of us.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Just the three of you at a reality show.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And that was before the Kardashians came out.
- 19:36Speaker 2: It was two years. We shot it in, we made
- 19:39Speaker 2: the deal in 05, shot it in 06, came out
- 19:41Speaker 2: in 07.
- 19:43Speaker 1: And okay, so you finish SC and you go right
- 19:46Speaker 1: into being an agent or training for an agent?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Well, okay. So I, I, when I was like 15,
- 19:52Speaker 2: I got a job at Interscope that turned into a
- 19:55Speaker 2: job as an A and R at death row records. Oh, wow.
- 19:59Speaker 2: And I was doing that while I was in high
- 20:01Speaker 2: school and then going into college. Um, and then during college,
- 20:04Speaker 2: I worked at death row records in the heyday of
- 20:06Speaker 2: when it was the biggest label in the world. And,
- 20:08Speaker 2: Tupac and Suge.
- 20:10Speaker 1: So you did that and then you went to college.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I Interscope to death row. Then I worked for Eminem
- 20:16Speaker 2: and that's during college. And then after that, I went
- 20:19Speaker 2: and I worked at William Morris in the music department.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I did two years there. And then I did six
- 20:24Speaker 2: and a half years at UTA. So that was in the, Hey,
- 20:28Speaker 2: I was a motion picture talent agent, but all these
- 20:30Speaker 2: kids that I grew up with, like the Osbournes and
- 20:33Speaker 2: Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie, We signed all of them.
- 20:37Speaker 2: So as I was like supposed to be reading scripts for,
- 20:39Speaker 2: you know, Johnny Depp and Harrison Ford, I was really
- 20:42Speaker 2: focusing on getting projects made for kids that I grew
- 20:46Speaker 2: up with. Cause I saw that there was a business
- 20:48Speaker 2: for the Celebu Spawns. So I was at the forefront
- 20:51Speaker 2: of that. I love that name. Yeah. So, I mean, that,
- 20:53Speaker 2: that was it.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Celebu Spawn.
- 20:54Speaker 2: So my first client, which actually got me promoted to
- 20:57Speaker 2: agent at UTA was Paris Hilton. So.
- 21:00Speaker 1: And at that time, what was she doing?
- 21:03Speaker 2: Sure.
- 21:04Speaker 1: She was, she was.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Our, that was Randy Spelling's girlfriend for many years.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I read her book. It was very good. Yeah.
- 21:10Speaker 2: So you're good friends with Tori, right?
- 21:12Speaker 3: Yes.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I love Tori.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Tori's like a sister to me. Yeah. His family, their
- 21:16Speaker 2: dad was really like a, you know, like a godfather
- 21:19Speaker 2: to me because my dad passed away when I was
- 21:22Speaker 2: three years old. So Aaron treated me like a son.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I mean, I, I've never learned more and had more
- 21:28Speaker 2: love from, you know, anyone who taught me so much
- 21:33Speaker 2: about life and business and Erin was the greatest. That's awesome.
- 21:37Speaker 2: But Paris was around the spellings a lot. And then
- 21:41Speaker 2: she started to kind of pop in the magazines. And
- 21:43Speaker 2: here I am, Mr. Like suit and tie agent guy at,
- 21:47Speaker 2: you know, UTA. And we're looking into this new media division.
- 21:53Speaker 2: So the new media division, when I was at William Morris,
- 21:57Speaker 2: it was run by Ben Silverman. Ben Silverman was there
- 22:00Speaker 2: as an agent. He had this new media department. And
- 22:02Speaker 2: then at UTA, they had a new media department ran
- 22:05Speaker 2: by Chris Colan. And Chris Colan is a huge TV
- 22:08Speaker 2: producer now. He's got monster, monster hits. And I was
- 22:12Speaker 2: in a different department, but I had the relationship to
- 22:15Speaker 2: get Paris. So when we got Paris, brought her in,
- 22:18Speaker 2: brought her to the team, got her, you know, the
- 22:20Speaker 2: deal with Beunah Murray and Fox and put her in
- 22:22Speaker 2: a bunch of movies.
- 22:23Speaker 1: So I have a question. Did The Simple Life come
- 22:26Speaker 1: before or after The sex tape was released with One
- 22:30Speaker 1: Night in Paris.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Well, again, the timeline of these things are all different.
- 22:35Speaker 2: The sex tape was shot before The Simple Life was bought,
- 22:41Speaker 2: but it came out to coincide with the releases of it.
- 22:45Speaker 2: So it sort of amplified the ability for the visibility
- 22:49Speaker 2: on there because the sex tape helps kind of drive
- 22:51Speaker 2: the marketing of a linear television at the same time.
- 22:53Speaker 1: And what is the story with that sex tape? She
- 22:56Speaker 1: had sex with her boyfriend at the time. What was
- 22:58Speaker 1: his name again?
- 23:01Speaker 2: Rick Solomon.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Rick Solomon, which I thought what was so interesting about
- 23:05Speaker 1: Rick Solomon is, so he films it, right? She's aware
- 23:09Speaker 1: or not, who knows, but they filmed it. And then
- 23:12Speaker 1: he released it. How did he release it?
- 23:15Speaker 2: Well, you see, we got to go back to something
- 23:18Speaker 2: here that keeps coming up in all these interviews, all
- 23:19Speaker 2: these discussions. You cannot release a sex tape, okay? That
- 23:23Speaker 2: it doesn't work that way. Anybody that ever says that
- 23:25Speaker 2: we released a sex tape, there is no such thing
- 23:28Speaker 2: as doing that. If you have a quantifiable physical copy
- 23:32Speaker 2: of a DVD, something that you can get on pay-per-view,
- 23:35Speaker 2: something that you can download, something that you're paying for
- 23:37Speaker 2: in a paywall, there is a deal. There is a distribution.
- 23:40Speaker 2: It's not like leaking something is putting like a clip
- 23:44Speaker 2: on YouTube and seeing if it gets taken down. That's
- 23:47Speaker 2: leaking something. Sex tapes are not leaked. They are sold
- 23:50Speaker 2: to corporations that distribute videos and people get a split
- 23:54Speaker 2: and an advance and they get paid. It's just like
- 23:56Speaker 2: a record deal. So for everybody out there that thinks
- 23:59Speaker 2: that it's like, oh, well, they leaked it. Everybody's got
- 24:02Speaker 2: a sign on the dotted line.
- 24:04Speaker 1: So then what was, this is where I've always been
- 24:06Speaker 1: so confused. And I watched the entire Tommy and Pamela movie,
- 24:10Speaker 1: which I think was like pretty accurate to what happened.
- 24:13Speaker 1: That happened before Paris. And so then with Paris, the
- 24:18Speaker 1: Solomon calls her up and is like, hey, I'm going
- 24:21Speaker 1: to sell this with or without you, but wouldn't legally
- 24:24Speaker 1: she have to consent?
- 24:25Speaker 2: Yes, she did have to consent and she did consent.
- 24:28Speaker 1: And so there wasn't like, oh, boo-hoo, this mean boyfriend
- 24:31Speaker 1: did this to me. Like if she would have said no,
- 24:35Speaker 1: if she would have said absolutely not, could he have
- 24:37Speaker 1: still done the deal without her?
- 24:39Speaker 2: He couldn't have made money off of it and profited
- 24:41Speaker 2: from it, but he could have released it. But in
- 24:44Speaker 2: this day and time, releasing that, that's like, that's illegal.
- 24:47Speaker 2: That's a crime now.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:49Speaker 2: But back then. What's it called? Sex shaming.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Or porn revenge.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Porn revenge.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 2: That's a felony. So you can't do that. Okay. So
- 24:57Speaker 2: they had a deal with a company called Red Light. Okay.
- 25:01Speaker 2: And- Red Light was a distribution company that was able
- 25:05Speaker 2: to take the content that he shot, put it in
- 25:07Speaker 2: a DVD, and then distribute it. So ultimately when they
- 25:11Speaker 2: knew that the leaks were happening, a little clip, a
- 25:14Speaker 2: little clip here, he may have done those. I don't
- 25:17Speaker 2: know the real story of how that happened.
- 25:19Speaker 1: It was like, it's out, you might as well make
- 25:20Speaker 1: your money.
- 25:20Speaker 2: You might as well get the money off of it
- 25:21Speaker 2: because you're gonna lose either way. And that's basically what
- 25:24Speaker 2: happened to Pam and Tommy is that they had the
- 25:26Speaker 2: release of it and then the deal came.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Isn't it crazy that when you watch that and how
- 25:32Speaker 1: much pain and you watch her documentary and how much
- 25:34Speaker 1: pain this sex tape caused her, rightfully so, and then
- 25:39Speaker 1: she goes and marries Rick Solomon not once but twice?
- 25:42Speaker 1: Isn't that a bizarre, weird— It's a weird little world.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Weird little story that doesn't make a lot— The worst
- 25:50Speaker 1: thing that ever happened to you, unless he told her
- 25:53Speaker 1: something— Not the story we know and was like, look, yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 1: I had a sex tape too, but we were completely
- 25:59Speaker 1: in planning and cahoots and it was not anything that
- 26:02Speaker 1: she didn't want. Would you like to get married? Then
- 26:05Speaker 1: maybe Pamela was like, okay. I mean, I don't know,
- 26:07Speaker 1: but it seems pretty weird that you'd fall in love
- 26:10Speaker 1: with someone who hurt another girl in a way that
- 26:13Speaker 1: you were hurt.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I mean, you're talking about some super duper, really crazy,
- 26:19Speaker 2: wild partying off the chain people. So who knows what's
- 26:23Speaker 2: going on? And they're my neighbors. We all, you know,
- 26:25Speaker 2: we all live in Malibu. See them all the time.
- 26:27Speaker 1: In the boo.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay.
- 26:29Speaker 1: So, so you, you're starting Paris and they must've loved
- 26:33Speaker 1: you UTA for that, that you had the connection to
- 26:35Speaker 1: all these people.
- 26:37Speaker 2: They did and they didn't because UTA was such a weird,
- 26:40Speaker 2: dark place at that time. And I had worked so
- 26:42Speaker 2: hard to like, you know, be in my suit and
- 26:44Speaker 2: tie every day and have my 9-11 convertible, my expense
- 26:47Speaker 2: account and go to every premiere. But it was like
- 26:50Speaker 2: it was really weird. There was a group of agents
- 26:52Speaker 2: that were all against another group of agents. And like
- 26:56Speaker 2: we had the biggest people in comedy and it was
- 26:58Speaker 2: like wars there and it was just a sick place.
- 27:01Speaker 2: But I was really good at finding talent. I was
- 27:04Speaker 2: not really good at like reading the scripts and be like, oh,
- 27:06Speaker 2: here's this part for you. I was a deal maker.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I was like a signer. That's what I did. And
- 27:11Speaker 2: for them, they didn't really understand that, you know, every
- 27:15Speaker 2: night I would go home and I would have dinner
- 27:17Speaker 2: with Aaron Spelling. And he, you know, I had this
- 27:20Speaker 2: other kind of life outside of there and they didn't
- 27:24Speaker 2: see what my full, full potential was, which is why
- 27:28Speaker 2: I created my show. Sons of Hollywood took all my
- 27:32Speaker 2: clients and left the company with all of our stuff
- 27:35Speaker 2: because it was like, I didn't want to be there
- 27:38Speaker 2: to fight. Like every, as an agent in a big
- 27:40Speaker 2: place like that, basically you get your salary, you make like,
- 27:43Speaker 2: you know, at that time it was making like $ 300, 000
- 27:44Speaker 2: a year. And then you have to negotiate your bonus.
- 27:49Speaker 2: And every year they fucked me on my bonus. And
- 27:51Speaker 2: I'm like, listen, I'm not going to go and make
- 27:53Speaker 2: this 300K and then go and make millions of dollars
- 27:57Speaker 2: for this company. And then you're not going to give
- 27:59Speaker 2: me a piece of it. So why would I do that?
- 28:01Speaker 2: And that's why I went on my own and formed
- 28:03Speaker 2: my own company. So you don't have to share with
- 28:05Speaker 2: the people that take from you.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Right, right. So it's like being an employee versus having
- 28:10Speaker 1: your own company kind of.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Well, the agency business is glamorous as it looks. It's
- 28:14Speaker 2: really just like you field phone calls. You know, like
- 28:17Speaker 2: I build careers. Like I create content. I create TV shows.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I'm a partner with my clients. It's a little bit different.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:24Speaker 2: An agency is like, hey, what do you got? We
- 28:26Speaker 2: got a call. And then they call you and say, hey,
- 28:28Speaker 2: we got this. But they try to make themselves look
- 28:30Speaker 2: like the genius. Like they got it, but it's an
- 28:32Speaker 2: incoming call. Got it. Okay.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So you get this show. The Sons of Hollywood? What
- 28:41Speaker 1: was it?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Sons of Hollywood and- Well, I'm still at UTA.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So I was a talent agent there and I created
- 28:47Speaker 2: the show and I never told them what I was doing,
- 28:50Speaker 2: but I gave them a packaging fee on it. So
- 28:52Speaker 2: they got the packaging fee. So my guys didn't have
- 28:54Speaker 2: to pay commissions. I carved out my ownership in the show,
- 28:58Speaker 2: carved out my place in the show, made the deal
- 29:01Speaker 2: and just waited to see. And then I went to
- 29:04Speaker 2: New York. We did upfronts. They announced the show. The
- 29:07Speaker 2: cat was out of the bag. A UTA went fucking crazy.
- 29:10Speaker 2: They're like, you're starring in the fucking show too. They
- 29:13Speaker 2: couldn't figure out what it was. So I just kind
- 29:15Speaker 2: of was like.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Was that on E?
- 29:17Speaker 2: That was on A and E.
- 29:18Speaker 1: And so how many seasons did you do of that?
- 29:20Speaker 2: We did 20 episodes of it.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 29:22Speaker 2: So basically they did kind of like a double window
- 29:24Speaker 2: where it aired throughout the year. Yeah. And it kind
- 29:26Speaker 2: of felt like it was like– it.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Sort of felt– Did you enjoy being a reality star
- 29:30Speaker 1: and filming it and kind of planning out the storylines
- 29:34Speaker 1: and the bits and all that?
- 29:35Speaker 2: Well, there was no planning going on. That was nine
- 29:37Speaker 2: months of a straight documentary about three best films. that
- 29:40Speaker 2: moved into a house together and lived their lives together.
- 29:43Speaker 2: And a lot of crazy shit happened. They shot us
- 29:45Speaker 2: 24 hours a day. JT Taylor, who did the Osbournes,
- 29:50Speaker 2: that was my physical producer, my co-creator of the show.
- 29:54Speaker 2: And it was, you know, Aaron Spelling died during the
- 29:56Speaker 2: middle of the show. So like that was all documented.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Tori hadn't even been in a reality show at that time.
- 30:01Speaker 2: We had the first reality show. We took you inside
- 30:04Speaker 2: the Spelling Manor for the first time ever in the
- 30:06Speaker 2: history of TV. Everybody wanted to see that. But it
- 30:11Speaker 2: was groundbreaking at the time, but it was in a
- 30:13Speaker 2: time that was like post Laguna Beach and the Hills
- 30:16Speaker 2: and the Osbournes, but pre-Kardashian. So I know that's a
- 30:20Speaker 2: weird way to look at it. But we were trying
- 30:22Speaker 2: to find our element of how a show would work
- 30:24Speaker 2: and there weren't sit down interviews in this show. So
- 30:27Speaker 2: it was all narrated by me and Sean and Randy.
- 30:31Speaker 2: And basically there weren't strong female characters in the show.
- 30:36Speaker 2: It was about boys being boys. It was reality entourage.
- 30:41Speaker 2: And I think that like people saw it as like,
- 30:44Speaker 2: it was pretty wild. It was an aggressive show. And
- 30:46Speaker 2: that's a show where Scott Disick moved to LA and
- 30:50Speaker 2: and met Courtney on the set of our show. And
- 30:53Speaker 2: that's why I started managing them because.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Their show got picked up. So let me just tell
- 30:57Speaker 1: you the conflicting stories of how Courtney and Scott met.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:02Speaker 5: Okay.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So you said they met on the set of your show.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yes.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I have been told that she was at Joe Francis's
- 31:10Speaker 1: house with a group of people, maybe with Kimberly Stewart.
- 31:15Speaker 1: And Scott was also there. And that's where they met.
- 31:18Speaker 2: That was after meeting at our house.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Oh, so maybe that's where the romance started.
- 31:25Speaker 2: But the meeting was at the Sons of Hollywood house.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Because we all grew up together. Like I grew up
- 31:33Speaker 2: with the Kardashians. He didn't. We, you know, he met
- 31:37Speaker 2: him through us, through me and Sean.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Who did?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Who did?
- 31:41Speaker 3: Scott. Oh, Scott.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:42Speaker 1: So then Scott.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Cause I remember the, I was there for the, for
- 31:47Speaker 1: the first episode of the Kardashians. They're like, will you
- 31:49Speaker 1: come and film the anniversary party? Right.
- 31:52Speaker 2: And I was like, no, the.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Was that the finale or the first? No, I feel
- 31:55Speaker 1: like it was the first episode.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Well, the first episode was all really at the house
- 31:58Speaker 2: with the barbecues and all the stuff that like Jeff
- 32:00Speaker 2: Jenkins and Farnaz shot.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Well, the episode I was in, I don't know if
- 32:05Speaker 1: it was the first episode or the final episode.
- 32:06Speaker 2: First season, yeah.
- 32:07Speaker 1: But it was the first season and it was their
- 32:09Speaker 1: 16th wedding anniversary party. And Chloe gets like male strippers.
- 32:16Speaker 1: And the little girls are spinning on the stripper pole,
- 32:19Speaker 1: which is in Chris's bedroom. And so anyway, so that
- 32:26Speaker 1: was the first time. And I had already... like hung
- 32:29Speaker 1: out with Courtney some and I'm like, who is this
- 32:32Speaker 1: guy that you're with? And that they were very into
- 32:35Speaker 1: each other at the time. And so then, and then,
- 32:39Speaker 1: you know, then that was her dude until he wasn't.
- 32:42Speaker 2: So Scott really fucked that thing up. You know, he
- 32:44Speaker 2: had it, he had it real good. I think he's
- 32:46Speaker 2: pretty upset with himself.
- 32:47Speaker 1: I do want to say, I was just thinking about
- 32:49Speaker 1: Scott Disick the other day. What is he up to now?
- 32:51Speaker 1: Because then he had a couple very young girlfriends, like
- 32:55Speaker 1: the Sophia Ritchie, who's now married, and some other girl. Oh,
- 33:01Speaker 1: he dated Lisa Renna's daughter for a minute.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And now I just feel like, what is he doing?
- 33:08Speaker 1: Just doing those- He's being a dad and- Doing the
- 33:11Speaker 1: luxury lines and stuff?
- 33:12Speaker 2: I mean, I guess. I don't know.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Follow these 20- These 20 accounts to win a Louis
- 33:18Speaker 1: Vuitton bag or whatever?
- 33:19Speaker 2: The problem with Scott through the run of my time
- 33:22Speaker 2: managing him is.
- 33:23Speaker 1: That– How many years did you manage him for?
- 33:25Speaker 2: I managed him originally in the beginning, the first like
- 33:29Speaker 2: two seasons of the show. Then we took a break
- 33:31Speaker 2: and then he came back season eight.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Nine, and ten. So then did you negotiate his own fee?
- 33:37Speaker 2: He got his own fee starting second season of the show.
- 33:41Speaker 2: It was really low. And then we got it really high.
- 33:43Speaker 2: So some of the bigger deals that he did toward
- 33:45Speaker 2: the end, those are all stuff that we helped orchestrate.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 33:49Speaker 1: So then why did you guys break up?
- 33:52Speaker 2: Well, it had a lot to do with Chris not
- 33:54Speaker 2: liking the fact that I was managing Ray J and Scott.
- 33:57Speaker 2: So I had really too much information about both camps.
- 34:00Speaker 2: And when you have adjacent people that have such a
- 34:04Speaker 2: history together, like Scott is his own charlatan of a
- 34:07Speaker 2: human being too. So you have to remember he the
- 34:10Speaker 2: information that he gets and how that gets passed off
- 34:12Speaker 2: and the information that Ray J has and how that
- 34:14Speaker 2: gets passed off. And you have people having wars in
- 34:16Speaker 2: the press and all this stuff. It was all kind
- 34:18Speaker 2: of too interconnected, but at the end of the day,
- 34:21Speaker 2: people go where the money is and I'm somebody that
- 34:23Speaker 2: always brings the money. So when you bring the money,
- 34:26Speaker 2: you're gonna always have the clients.
- 34:28Speaker 1: So, okay, so you've been working with Ray J for
- 34:32Speaker 1: 17 years now, you said. And so obviously you're working
- 34:36Speaker 1: with him when he was dating. And we see in.
- 34:40Speaker 2: The- Post Kim. Because that's like, the Kim Ray J
- 34:46Speaker 2: relationship ended in around 2006. Oh, and then.
- 34:49Speaker 1: You were- And then, yeah.
- 34:53Speaker 2: But we see we all had separate relations. Like I
- 34:57Speaker 2: knew Ray J originally because he was friends with Suge,
- 34:59Speaker 2: so I know him from death row. And I know
- 35:00Speaker 2: Kim separate from high school, with that whole world. So
- 35:03Speaker 2: we're all intertwined together. And then it's a connectivity of
- 35:06Speaker 2: relationships that happen at different times. But Scott and I
- 35:11Speaker 2: and Ray J, like I had them together at the
- 35:14Speaker 2: same time for a number of years managing both of them.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Well, one of the things that I thought was super
- 35:19Speaker 1: interesting and kind of a great lesson for anybody is
- 35:22Speaker 1: Ray J's friend, I think it was his friend or
- 35:25Speaker 1: maybe it was you, that said when, so Kim was
- 35:30Speaker 1: doing the closets and that's what I knew her. And
- 35:33Speaker 1: I remember I went to her condo in West Hollywood
- 35:36Speaker 1: because I was showing Courtney, I was a realtor, you know.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I was showing Courtney places.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Where's the video of that? I want to see you
- 35:42Speaker 2: selling houses.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I wasn't on that.
- 35:45Speaker 2: New show alert, guys. New show alert. Heather takes real estate.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I was a realtor for a really long time and
- 35:51Speaker 1: I let my license go once I got at Chelsea lately.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I don't want to be a realtor anymore. I do
- 35:56Speaker 1: talk a lot about real estate and I interview a
- 35:57Speaker 1: lot of realtors because I'm still into it. But anyway,
- 36:00Speaker 1: so we go to look at some places in Kim's building.
- 36:04Speaker 2: And that's what went off Robertson. That one. Yeah.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Like it was her, like her first place. And, um,
- 36:11Speaker 1: and my husband actually was a mortgage broker at the time.
- 36:13Speaker 1: So he like redid the loan for her. And then,
- 36:15Speaker 1: but then we found the, um, Calabasas place for Courtney
- 36:20Speaker 1: and I'm watching all this stuff about what a negotiator
- 36:23Speaker 1: Chris is. And, uh, Caitlin's talking about what a great
- 36:26Speaker 1: negotiator she was and stuff. And she was, so I,
- 36:30Speaker 1: I show Courtney this condo. And it's like $ 800, 000 or $ 850, 000
- 36:35Speaker 1: or something in this cute area of Calabasas. And I'd
- 36:38Speaker 1: only showed her like maybe two days worth of stuff.
- 36:41Speaker 1: And so she wants to make the offer. And I'm like, okay, great.
- 36:45Speaker 1: You know, we'll get it going. And then Chris called me.
- 36:49Speaker 1: And she's like, hi, doll. So Courtney really loves the condo.
- 36:54Speaker 1: I think it's a great place for her. I'm like, yeah.
- 36:57Speaker 1: And she goes, but we're only willing to pay this much.
- 37:02Speaker 1: And so I don't know how you could make that work.
- 37:06Speaker 1: And I'm like, I just, I knew what she was
- 37:08Speaker 1: getting at. And I'm like, well, I can take off
- 37:10Speaker 1: a half a percent of commission. Would that work for you?
- 37:13Speaker 1: And she's like, oh, that's great, doll.
- 37:16Speaker 2: That's all she wanted. But I'm like, also really- Did
- 37:18Speaker 2: she ask you for a kickback too? No. No?
- 37:20Speaker 3: No.
- 37:21Speaker 1: No, but it was, I remember- I would have. I
- 37:23Speaker 1: remember it was, it was like- Most of the commission
- 37:27Speaker 1: was only two and a half on the buyer side.
- 37:29Speaker 1: And that particular one was already 3%. So I actually
- 37:32Speaker 1: was like, okay with doing the two and a half.
- 37:35Speaker 1: But also in my mind as a realtor, I'm like,
- 37:38Speaker 1: you know what? Let someone feel like they got a
- 37:41Speaker 1: little bit of a deal. I only showed her two
- 37:42Speaker 1: days worth of stuff and I like her. And I
- 37:44Speaker 1: was like, who cares? But I also was like, you
- 37:47Speaker 1: know what? Ask for the deal. Like ask for the discount,
- 37:51Speaker 1: ask for the deal. It doesn't matter how much you get.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I thought that was really smart.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Why not? Yeah.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Like, why?
- 37:56Speaker 2: You gotta be. That's how you stay rich. Yeah, yeah.
- 37:59Speaker 1: So I just, I respected her for it. I wasn't
- 38:02Speaker 1: at all, like, bothered by it. I was like, no problem.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Let's do this deal. Did you do the deal? Yeah. Oh,
- 38:07Speaker 2: that's great.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and that was the first Connor you see and, like, the,
- 38:10Speaker 1: you know, when she's with Scott and Chloe lives there
- 38:14Speaker 1: and all that type of stuff. And at that time,
- 38:16Speaker 1: she didn't have the TV show.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:19Speaker 1: She was like- She didn't really want, Courtney.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Didn't really want to do the show. I mean, originally-
- 38:25Speaker 2: It was really Chris and Kim's thing that they put
- 38:28Speaker 2: together with Ryan and Buda Murray. And then everybody kind
- 38:32Speaker 2: of got dragged into it.
- 38:35Speaker 1: When I first went out to lunch with them for
- 38:36Speaker 1: the very first time, I went to the smooch store,
- 38:39Speaker 1: the baby store. And then we all went out to
- 38:41Speaker 1: lunch and I had my son who's now almost 18.
- 38:44Speaker 1: He was like in a stroller.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Wow.
- 38:46Speaker 1: And we go out to lunch and- I'm like, I
- 38:50Speaker 1: hope this doesn't bother you, but I got to ask
- 38:52Speaker 1: about OJ. And it was, it was Courtney and Chris
- 38:55Speaker 1: and they were, I thought they would be totally grossed
- 38:58Speaker 1: out that I asked and they weren't. And they like
- 39:01Speaker 1: really told me all about it. And I was like,
- 39:03Speaker 1: what was it like Courtney? What was, and she's like, well, we,
- 39:07Speaker 1: she goes, we kind of took our dad's side because
- 39:09Speaker 1: we felt like nobody was taking his side. So Courtney
- 39:12Speaker 1: and Kim were kind of like, you know, because they
- 39:14Speaker 1: felt so weird, like going in between. And anyway, so,
- 39:19Speaker 1: And then when I was talking to her, she was like,
- 39:22Speaker 1: and then I realized, wait, you've been on that cattle show. Cattle.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:28Speaker 1: What was that called?
- 39:28Speaker 2: Cattle filthy rich cattle drive courtney semel was on that.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Yeah and she told me how it happened she goes
- 39:34Speaker 1: i was with my other friend courtney yeah and she
- 39:37Speaker 1: was like oh well you were like they were literally
- 39:39Speaker 1: like in the car together and she's like i have
- 39:40Speaker 1: to stop by this thing this casting and she went
- 39:44Speaker 1: and she was like I mean, literally every single one
- 39:47Speaker 1: of my friends, it's their dream to be on a
- 39:48Speaker 1: reality show, but I didn't even want to do it.
- 39:51Speaker 1: But she went with her and kind of got talked
- 39:53Speaker 1: into it. And she's like, oh my God, it was awful.
- 39:55Speaker 1: We couldn't have our phones and I hated it, whatever.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Then- So then we start hanging out, going to some things, whatever.
- 40:04Speaker 1: We're like friends.
- 40:05Speaker 2: You and Chris?
- 40:06Speaker 1: Chris and the girls. Because I was like, at my age,
- 40:09Speaker 1: I'm like literally in between Chris and the girls. And
- 40:12Speaker 1: I really thought they were like really fun and interesting
- 40:14Speaker 1: to talk to. So we go out for another lunch
- 40:16Speaker 1: that my baby is at. And Chris goes, I have
- 40:20Speaker 1: the most exciting news. Kim was out with Paris. And
- 40:25Speaker 1: they started film. They were filming something for The Simple Life.
- 40:29Speaker 1: And they didn't know if Paris' Chihuahua was pregnant. And
- 40:32Speaker 1: Kim goes, well, let's have it pee on a pregnancy test.
- 40:35Speaker 1: And the producers found it, I think, so amazing. And
- 40:39Speaker 1: Paris said to Kim, Kim, I want you to be
- 40:41Speaker 1: my new best friend and on the show. And I
- 40:44Speaker 1: remember I was like, oh, I thought she wanted to
- 40:47Speaker 1: be like a TV host or a fashion person.
- 40:53Speaker 2: She wanted wild on. That's what she wanted.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Well, I remember wild on.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I do remember. But I remember I was a little
- 40:59Speaker 1: bit surprised. I'm like, Oh, I didn't even know she
- 41:00Speaker 1: had any aspirations to be like an actress or anything.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Cause she was like into this clothing store and like
- 41:06Speaker 1: doing the closet thing. And so then, um, but then,
- 41:10Speaker 1: and then of course the, the deal kind of came
- 41:13Speaker 1: about and it came about the same summer that I
- 41:16Speaker 1: started at Chelsea lately. She's like, we like, I had
- 41:20Speaker 1: already started Chelsea lately. And she came to my house
- 41:22Speaker 1: for my birthday party with, um, uh, Bruce at the time,
- 41:25Speaker 1: which he said, it's okay to say that. So it
- 41:27Speaker 1: was Bruce and, and, um, Chris and Chloe and Courtney,
- 41:30Speaker 1: they all came to like my house in Leland Hills.
- 41:32Speaker 1: It's a little birthday party for like my 36th or
- 41:35Speaker 1: seventh birthday or something. And she's like, yeah, we got
- 41:39Speaker 1: the show. And I go, what network? And she goes,
- 41:42Speaker 1: E I'm like, Oh my God, I'm starting a show
- 41:44Speaker 1: on E2. And then we couldn't get any guests for
- 41:47Speaker 1: the show. And the, the EP was like, um, oh
- 41:52Speaker 1: my God, like, do you know anybody? And I'm like
- 41:55Speaker 1: calling Jennifer Coolidge and I'm calling Marlon and he's like,
- 41:58Speaker 1: I've got nothing to promote. And I'm like, okay, I
- 42:02Speaker 1: know this is weird, but I know the woman who's
- 42:04Speaker 1: married to Bruce Jenner and they're supposed to have some
- 42:08Speaker 1: show that's coming out. And so I like text her
- 42:12Speaker 1: and I'm like, is there any way? And I'm like,
- 42:14Speaker 1: but I know like we gotta have her on too.
- 42:17Speaker 1: And I go, and so that day, literally like within
- 42:20Speaker 1: two hours they came And the show was like gonna happen,
- 42:24Speaker 1: but I don't even know if it was for, and
- 42:25Speaker 1: they were like, and he did these jokes about like, well,
- 42:28Speaker 1: I'm with these girls that are about to get their period,
- 42:31Speaker 1: the little girls. And then I'm with a woman who's
- 42:32Speaker 1: going through menopause and I'm stuck in the middle of
- 42:35Speaker 1: all these ladies. Like that was the joke.
- 42:38Speaker 2: This is a legendary show. I got to see this thing. Yeah.
- 42:41Speaker 1: And so, and then Chelsea, we did this stupid sketch
- 42:43Speaker 1: where Chelsea like raced him in the parking lot afterwards.
- 42:48Speaker 1: And they were both on it. It was funny. And
- 42:49Speaker 1: I saved the day because I didn't know. It was
- 42:53Speaker 1: the first week.
- 42:53Speaker 2: That's so crazy.
- 42:54Speaker 1: I don't want to even say maybe the writer's strike
- 42:56Speaker 1: had begun or maybe it had.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 42:58Speaker 1: But it was like, and then, so then every time
- 43:00Speaker 1: they came on the show, then I'd see them. I'd
- 43:02Speaker 1: be invited to the parties. And I always made sure
- 43:06Speaker 1: that there wasn't a mean sketch about them. Right. Because
- 43:09Speaker 1: they could take the jokes, but never mean. Always, you know. Yeah.
- 43:13Speaker 1: supportive and fun. And so I want to, I want
- 43:17Speaker 1: to get into on the show. It's interesting because you
- 43:22Speaker 1: and Joe Francis kind of conflict in your recollection of
- 43:25Speaker 1: how the sex tape got done.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Well, listen, Joe is a very nice guy and he
- 43:33Speaker 2: was definitely a groundbreaking producer and exploiter. Um, and he
- 43:38Speaker 2: did very well, but he's off the deep end and
- 43:40Speaker 2: his recollection is wrong. And, um, we have all the receipts,
- 43:44Speaker 2: Ray J and I, to like what happened. And, you know,
- 43:47Speaker 2: it's okay for him to put the narrative out there
- 43:49Speaker 2: because he believes that that's what he wants to put
- 43:51Speaker 2: out there because maybe Chris and them will be happy
- 43:55Speaker 2: with him for doing that.
- 43:57Speaker 1: I mean, basically he's, go ahead.
- 43:58Speaker 2: But listen, if you see what he said, you can't
- 44:04Speaker 2: say anything is leaked when you're talking about contracts being signed.
- 44:11Speaker 2: There was never a contract signed ever in a Joe
- 44:15Speaker 2: Francis office. Every contract that was ever signed happened in
- 44:19Speaker 2: Steve Hirsch's office.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Who owned Vivid.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Period. So it's okay. You can eat the bullet. Go
- 44:29Speaker 2: for it. It's all good. The big thing and the
- 44:31Speaker 2: reason why Ray spoke out last year and why even
- 44:37Speaker 2: I was even really willing to be a part of
- 44:39Speaker 2: it is There comes a point where you can't keep
- 44:41Speaker 2: doing recycling the same narrative and the same kind of like, Ooh, who,
- 44:45Speaker 2: this is the story. And this is what we fold
- 44:47Speaker 2: the world with. Because when you, when you, when everybody's
- 44:49Speaker 2: got to play their part, which everybody did, Kim played
- 44:52Speaker 2: a part, Chris played a part, Ray played a part
- 44:54Speaker 2: tapes came out, money was made. TV shows were launched.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Millions and millions of dollars were made. Everybody's playing a
- 44:59Speaker 2: different role. If you continue to use that role, but
- 45:02Speaker 2: then the role gets a little bit more negative and
- 45:04Speaker 2: it's hurting other people's businesses and their livelihoods and their
- 45:07Speaker 2: children and their lives and everything. There comes a point
- 45:10Speaker 2: where we got to say, hey, enough's enough. Just because
- 45:13Speaker 2: you sat on Oprah's couch and like cried and said
- 45:16Speaker 2: it was leaked. And then now you're going to have
- 45:17Speaker 2: to eat that you lied about that. It's a different story. Okay.
- 45:21Speaker 2: People did a lot of different things early on in
- 45:23Speaker 2: their careers that they're not going to do today in
- 45:26Speaker 2: their careers. So you have to remember, this is all
- 45:29Speaker 2: a marketing game. This was a game to create content,
- 45:33Speaker 2: to create businesses, to create TV shows, and to most
- 45:36Speaker 2: of all, make money. and make stars. And that is
- 45:40Speaker 2: what you have the product of here today. So if
- 45:45Speaker 2: there's conflictions going on, I know what I've lived through
- 45:49Speaker 2: with my side and with Ray, and I know what
- 45:52Speaker 2: they lived through on their side. And this is just
- 45:55Speaker 2: finally a time that people are saying, hey, there's a
- 45:56Speaker 2: little bit more to it than what you actually have
- 46:00Speaker 2: pushed out there. And Hulu, by the way, all love
- 46:04Speaker 2: to Hulu, but The way the Hulu producers did the
- 46:08Speaker 2: launch of the new show, because they were second fiddle
- 46:10Speaker 2: to the real first hit, is that all they had
- 46:15Speaker 2: to do, all they could figure out, because they had
- 46:17Speaker 2: no original ideas, was to redo the same fucking storyline.
- 46:21Speaker 2: But they did it in a way that was edited
- 46:24Speaker 2: and cut in not a friendly way to Ray. Ray
- 46:27Speaker 2: is my brother, and I will always protect him. And
- 46:30Speaker 2: we've lived through so many incredible things in our business
- 46:33Speaker 2: and our friendships. that like, I got to protect my guy.
- 46:36Speaker 1: So what we saw in the opening, which I thought
- 46:38Speaker 1: was really interesting, that like the E! show started with
- 46:43Speaker 1: the sex tape and then 17 years later, whatever the
- 46:45Speaker 1: hell it is, we're seeing the Hulu show.
- 46:47Speaker 2: It ain't nothing new.
- 46:48Speaker 1: And it's about the sex tape.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of embarrassing for those producers.
- 46:52Speaker 1: And then, so what was the story with Kanye coming
- 46:57Speaker 1: in with a suitcase and like, here's the extra tapes?
- 47:01Speaker 1: What was that about?
- 47:02Speaker 2: So let's, let's, if we're really going to talk about
- 47:05Speaker 2: this and really get into this kind of stuff, you
- 47:07Speaker 2: got to understand, okay. Communication, as much as you may
- 47:12Speaker 2: think that like people didn't talk to each other, there
- 47:15Speaker 2: still was communication between Ray and Kim way back when.
- 47:18Speaker 2: And then there was communication, obviously when this stuff broke
- 47:21Speaker 2: between them now, and we have all the receipts of
- 47:24Speaker 2: that as well. But Kanye started to really, when he,
- 47:27Speaker 2: in a, in a, in a world of desperation where
- 47:29Speaker 2: he was really trying to save his family, save his relationships,
- 47:32Speaker 2: He reached out to Ray and felt that he had
- 47:34Speaker 2: to fix the relationship with Ray himself to then get
- 47:38Speaker 2: that to be the saving grace to prove to his
- 47:41Speaker 2: family that I did this thing. But the thing is,
- 47:44Speaker 2: the content and the briefcase, that was all stuff that
- 47:47Speaker 2: she already had. The stuff that was given on that drive,
- 47:51Speaker 2: this is all stuff that Steve Hirsch and it was
- 47:54Speaker 2: background stuff that was used in in the actual DVD.
- 47:59Speaker 2: So it wasn't like, oh my God, there's another sex
- 48:01Speaker 2: tape that exists and blah, blah, blah.
- 48:02Speaker 1: It was just extra footage.
- 48:04Speaker 2: There is another sex tape that exists. And the other
- 48:07Speaker 2: sex tape that exists, Ray doesn't have it. Kim has it.
- 48:14Speaker 2: So when you're going, it exists, he has it. That's
- 48:18Speaker 2: not true. You know, there.
- 48:24Speaker 2: You know, I, we can't go into like every single thing,
- 48:26Speaker 2: but like they, they, the, the, the, the tape that
- 48:31Speaker 2: got distributed was from a real trip that they went
- 48:34Speaker 2: on where they basically, you know, that was real content
- 48:39Speaker 2: that they thought became a value. And when they saw
- 48:42Speaker 2: that there was a deal to be made, they actually
- 48:45Speaker 2: went and shot another trip and another trip of content
- 48:49Speaker 2: that was almost too pornographic. And that didn't get released.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Got it.
- 48:55Speaker 2: So, I mean, I don't, I mean, I don't, I
- 48:57Speaker 2: don't feel like we're breaking.
- 48:58Speaker 1: I feel like I don't think we're breaking. I don't think,
- 49:00Speaker 1: I don't think we're breaking anything.
- 49:02Speaker 2: Like people, you guys need to read between the lines.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Everybody doesn't read between the lines. You all think that
- 49:06Speaker 2: somebody crying on Oprah means that whatever they're saying there
- 49:09Speaker 2: is actually true. When you're signing contracts, Joe Francis says
- 49:14Speaker 2: contracts are signed. You can't say something was leaked. It's impossible.
- 49:19Speaker 2: The lawsuit was fake. Like that lawsuit was only done
- 49:22Speaker 2: where they sued Vivid was just to be done to
- 49:24Speaker 2: be done. It's not a real thing. Like, why do
- 49:27Speaker 2: you think it got dropped? It was like, it's an exercise.
- 49:29Speaker 2: It's an exercise.
- 49:30Speaker 1: And in that it was like, it was to show
- 49:33Speaker 1: like the outrage.
- 49:35Speaker 2: My recollection of what that suing was, was that that
- 49:39Speaker 2: was an exercise to say to the community that we're
- 49:42Speaker 2: mad and we're doing this. But when we settle it,
- 49:45Speaker 2: then the money can flow.
- 49:47Speaker 1: So, I mean, I don't think anyone.
- 49:49Speaker 2: For both sides. Like this was big money for Ray.
- 49:51Speaker 2: This was big money for them.
- 49:54Speaker 1: And I don't think... And the thing is that I
- 49:56Speaker 1: think it's fine that we talk about it and everything because...
- 49:59Speaker 1: It was always so confusing, and I've heard it from
- 50:02Speaker 1: Joe Francis' side, off the record, on the record. I'm
- 50:05Speaker 1: hearing it from you.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Joe doesn't do anything off the record.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Well, he's told me some things that has not been
- 50:13Speaker 1: shared there.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Joe, come to the United States, and let's have a conversation.
- 50:16Speaker 2: Let's sit down, and we'll bring Ray. We'll bring Kim.
- 50:19Speaker 2: We'll sit down. We'll have a forum, and we'll tell
- 50:21Speaker 2: the real story. But you're not allowed in the United States.
- 50:24Speaker 1: I also feel that people definitely don't care. Like, even
- 50:29Speaker 1: if she did do all this, I don't think it's
- 50:31Speaker 1: not going to make them not buy the skims. You know,
- 50:33Speaker 1: it just doesn't matter.
- 50:34Speaker 2: Here's what it does, honestly. You have, like, the Anna
- 50:40Speaker 2: Winters and the Oprahs and, you know, the big female
- 50:45Speaker 2: strong media figures, which obviously Chris and Kim have become
- 50:49Speaker 2: in their own right. You have to be careful what
- 50:53Speaker 2: you've said 17 years ago to get to that place.
- 50:57Speaker 2: and then it now comes back up now. Because you
- 50:59Speaker 2: gotta be careful how you jab the other guy. Because
- 51:02Speaker 2: the other guy at a certain point is only gonna
- 51:04Speaker 2: take like, you know, so many years of abuse and
- 51:07Speaker 2: like having to live through the ringer. And some of
- 51:09Speaker 2: the stuff that they said in the show was really
- 51:14Speaker 2: troubling for Ray. I mean, I mean, I mean. I mean,
- 51:17Speaker 2: Ray went off the deep end. I mean, Ray called me.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Which show? The Hulu or the first?
- 51:21Speaker 2: The Hulu. The Hulu. No, the first one, everybody was
- 51:23Speaker 2: on the same. They knew. Ray had his show. Ray
- 51:26Speaker 2: had the number one show on VH1. They had the
- 51:28Speaker 2: number one show on E! They were popping. Checks were
- 51:31Speaker 2: coming in. Albums were on the radio. I mean, they
- 51:33Speaker 2: were doing it. The thing is now, you have a
- 51:36Speaker 2: guy who's married. He has a wife. He has two children.
- 51:38Speaker 3: Right.
- 51:39Speaker 2: He has a board of directors on an electronics company
- 51:42Speaker 2: that's worth a couple hundred million dollars that he has
- 51:44Speaker 2: to answer to. We have our own networks that we
- 51:47Speaker 2: have to answer to. We have shows on multiple networks.
- 51:49Speaker 2: We have people that expect certain things from us. It
- 51:52Speaker 2: can hurt the businesses. So you have to at a
- 51:55Speaker 2: certain point do something. He was very depressed. I mean
- 51:58Speaker 2: I felt as though Ray J– was really, really upset
- 52:03Speaker 2: this time. It was not the same kind of like,
- 52:06Speaker 2: shake it off, I hit it first guy. It was,
- 52:09Speaker 2: this is really hurting my home. This is really hurting
- 52:12Speaker 2: my mind. It's not fair. That a corporation the size
- 52:16Speaker 2: of Hulu and a family that's already got so much
- 52:19Speaker 2: money that they're going to go and let this happen again.
- 52:21Speaker 2: But I can't– I'm not going to place blame on
- 52:24Speaker 2: Kim and Chris and them. That's not who did it.
- 52:27Speaker 2: It's these dodgy producers that make the show that like
- 52:30Speaker 2: this is all they could think of because they're just
- 52:32Speaker 2: glad to be in the seat. They have seconds on
- 52:35Speaker 2: the Kardashian show. That's it.
- 52:36Speaker 1: I mean I– I totally see it for what it is.
- 52:39Speaker 1: And it's, it is sad that somebody will just choose,
- 52:43Speaker 1: you know, one episode of a TV show or podcast
- 52:46Speaker 1: or whatever, and use someone for content and not realize
- 52:51Speaker 1: or realize that you are jeopardizing someone's whole reputation, which
- 52:56Speaker 1: all of our businesses is our reputation. We all are ourselves.
- 53:00Speaker 1: And so it's like, I totally see why that would
- 53:03Speaker 1: be really upsetting to him. And, you know, I think
- 53:08Speaker 1: what I thought was really interesting is when I saw
- 53:10Speaker 1: the SNL monologue.
- 53:11Speaker 2: I was going to tell you about how that day happened. Okay,
- 53:15Speaker 2: let me.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Just first just say, what I thought was so interesting
- 53:17Speaker 1: is when I worked as a writer-producer on Chelsea Lately,
- 53:21Speaker 1: no matter what the topic was for Kardashians, and we'd
- 53:25Speaker 1: have other comedians come on. I never prepped the other comics.
- 53:29Speaker 1: That was someone else's job. I'd write her jokes and
- 53:31Speaker 1: mine or whatever. But the producers would say, Right away,
- 53:36Speaker 1: if there's a Kardashian topic, you cannot make a joke
- 53:38Speaker 1: about the sex tape. No reference to the sex tape,
- 53:41Speaker 1: no reference to Ray J, no nothing. That can never
- 53:43Speaker 1: be part of your punchline about the fact that she
- 53:46Speaker 1: bought a pair of jeans or whatever the stupid story was.
- 53:49Speaker 1: And that was a direct order from me.
- 53:51Speaker 2: That was Lisa Berger.
- 53:52Speaker 1: That was really the only thing, the only real rule
- 53:56Speaker 1: we had to follow from E. Everything else we could
- 53:58Speaker 1: say or do, they were never... At our studio, they
- 54:00Speaker 1: were never telling us, don't do this, don't do that.
- 54:02Speaker 1: That was just the one thing and we always respected it.
- 54:04Speaker 1: So I thought it was really interesting that when she
- 54:06Speaker 1: goes to do the SNL sketch, she's telling on herself.
- 54:11Speaker 1: She's joking about the sex tape.
- 54:13Speaker 2: She has no choice there. That's a real place. I mean,
- 54:17Speaker 2: when you're finally doing SNL, you're with the legends. You've
- 54:20Speaker 2: now crossed over even more into the zeitgeist of actual
- 54:25Speaker 2: A-list celebrity. So you're going to have to do this
- 54:27Speaker 2: stuff that there is no boundary there. Um, what's interesting
- 54:31Speaker 2: about that time is that that is the weekend that they, that,
- 54:34Speaker 2: that Ray and Kanye met. Um, and it was a
- 54:37Speaker 2: lot of buildup to the meeting because, you know, Ray
- 54:40Speaker 2: was going to do it and, and, you know, Kanye
- 54:42Speaker 2: wanted to film it and take pictures and do a
- 54:44Speaker 2: whole kind of publicity stunt with it and all this stuff.
- 54:46Speaker 2: And Ray said, absolutely not. They met very early in
- 54:49Speaker 2: the morning. Kanye came, he flew in, he flew, he
- 54:52Speaker 2: flew commercial. I think in like a coach seat actually
- 54:55Speaker 2: because it was like the meeting had happened at a
- 54:57Speaker 2: certain time. He wanted to come back to New York
- 54:59Speaker 2: and be the savior. And Ray, they met at the
- 55:01Speaker 2: private terminal at LAX and they spent four hours together
- 55:06Speaker 2: kind of just being together and looking at some of
- 55:10Speaker 2: the content and looking at what really existed. And Ray
- 55:13Speaker 2: did give him some content. And, but, but the whole
- 55:16Speaker 2: goal of that thing is that was to be a
- 55:18Speaker 2: private matter. It wasn't to be a, okay, this is
- 55:21Speaker 2: now going to be in the Hulu show and Kanye
- 55:23Speaker 2: is the savior. And I came in SNL and, and
- 55:25Speaker 2: here's the thing and I got it. And then I'm
- 55:28Speaker 2: going to destroy Ray's life by doing that. No, that's
- 55:31Speaker 2: not what the agreement was.
- 55:32Speaker 1: And, um, So Ray didn't know that until he saw
- 55:35Speaker 1: the episode.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Absolutely. I mean, we got wind of it probably like
- 55:39Speaker 2: three weeks before the show came out, and it just
- 55:41Speaker 2: started to irk him a little bit because it was
- 55:45Speaker 2: a lot of, we know where this is going, and
- 55:50Speaker 2: why are they doing it again? Because at the same time,
- 55:54Speaker 2: he was dealing with the board of directors of his company, Raycon,
- 55:58Speaker 2: and they were about to have a huge, huge, huge sale.
- 56:01Speaker 2: And what happened that week affected a major part of
- 56:04Speaker 2: the price of the company. And it was a big deal.
- 56:08Speaker 2: So it was kind of timing on a, on a
- 56:09Speaker 2: lot of things that were happening. And then when it
- 56:11Speaker 2: came out, it was just so ridiculous how they cut it.
- 56:14Speaker 2: And it was just not factual because they agreed that
- 56:17Speaker 2: this was going to be a private matter and that
- 56:20Speaker 2: it was never really going to be talked about. But
- 56:22Speaker 2: once Kanye goes off the rails and did that, we
- 56:24Speaker 2: had no choice, you know, subsequently now though, what's funny
- 56:28Speaker 2: is that, um, you know, Ray and Kanye have really
- 56:31Speaker 2: squashed their whole whatever back and forth. And, and there,
- 56:34Speaker 2: you know, there is an open dialogue. They spent time together.
- 56:38Speaker 2: They've flown together. They've gone places.
- 56:40Speaker 1: What's your opinion of Kanye walking around Italy with this
- 56:45Speaker 1: legal wife or not legal wife where, where she's just in,
- 56:48Speaker 1: you know, nude nylons walking around Italy. What do you
- 56:51Speaker 1: think is going on there?
- 56:52Speaker 2: Some bizarre artistic, weird controlling movements of whatever he thinks
- 56:58Speaker 2: is like, how he wants his image to be. I mean, listen.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I mean, he changes his image. When you think about it,
- 57:04Speaker 1: he changes his image so much.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Like first it was, you know, I'm this fashionista.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Then it's like, remember when they did the video where
- 57:13Speaker 1: she's like on the motorcycle, like.
- 57:16Speaker 2: Right.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Like that all stuff. Then he becomes a super Christian.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I guess to have his own church, you know, which
- 57:24Speaker 1: is the ultimate write-off, right? Where you don't pay, not write-off,
- 57:27Speaker 1: you don't pay taxes. And then they have that moment
- 57:32Speaker 1: where he's like, I think your dress is too sexy
- 57:34Speaker 1: for the Met. And that was on the Kardashian show.
- 57:37Speaker 1: And she's like, go on your Christian journey, but like,
- 57:40Speaker 1: you can't tell me this the night before. I'm wearing
- 57:42Speaker 1: the wet dress or whatever. Then now he has his
- 57:46Speaker 1: new wife, like with her tits out in like a
- 57:49Speaker 1: sheer thing. So I'm like– and then all his weird
- 57:55Speaker 1: rants along the way.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:57Speaker 1: It's a wild– It's a bizarre thing.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Celebrity and power and money and all of the things
- 58:03Speaker 2: and the journey is an evolution of your brain and
- 58:07Speaker 2: it doesn't affect everybody the same way. I mean what
- 58:10Speaker 2: I notice with a lot of celebrities and stars that
- 58:13Speaker 2: I work with and it really– You know, people start
- 58:18Speaker 2: to think that they are the president of the United
- 58:21Speaker 2: States and like everything in the world actually functions around them.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Certain stars.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Certain stars. Yeah. And it's it's like sometimes you've got
- 58:29Speaker 2: to bring them a little bit down to earth so
- 58:31Speaker 2: that you realize that it's, you know, not everything has
- 58:35Speaker 2: to do with you. You know, it's a little bit
- 58:37Speaker 2: of an ego thing, too. And I think that he
- 58:40Speaker 2: just he they went so hard on him in the press.
- 58:43Speaker 2: He went so hard back that like it is it
- 58:46Speaker 2: is traumatic on your brain that it completely changes who
- 58:50Speaker 2: you are. So you're dealing with this post, you know,
- 58:53Speaker 2: ran through the Kardashians, Kanye West, who's still trying to
- 58:57Speaker 2: get his image and his life back on after being
- 59:00Speaker 2: through so much.
- 59:01Speaker 1: I mean, do you have any prediction or insight of
- 59:04Speaker 1: what you think he is trying to accomplish? Is he
- 59:07Speaker 1: going to come back to music or where should he be?
- 59:10Speaker 2: Always going to do music. He's always going to do fashion.
- 59:12Speaker 2: He's rich. He's going to do what he does in
- 59:15Speaker 2: just different ways. He doesn't have to prove anything to anyone.
- 59:19Speaker 2: Kanye West is a genius. I mean, it's one of
- 59:21Speaker 2: the most outspoken creative artists of all time. But he's
- 59:25Speaker 2: got his own issues too. But that's sort of the
- 59:28Speaker 2: beauty of like who he is at the same time.
- 59:32Speaker 2: It just doesn't, people don't, there's people in the world
- 59:34Speaker 2: that don't like it. Like they just can't deal with it.
- 59:37Speaker 2: They want to talk shit about him. And, you know,
- 59:39Speaker 2: and I think that's how we got.
- 59:40Speaker 1: What do you think about this? The stories of how
- 59:42Speaker 1: they like, supposedly the wife can't speak and she has
- 59:45Speaker 1: to eat certain things.
- 59:46Speaker 2: I haven't heard any of that.
- 59:49Speaker 1: I personally think she's in on it. First I thought,
- 59:53Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 59:54Speaker 2: Of course she's in on it.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I'm like, first I thought like, if this was my
- 59:57Speaker 1: best friend or sister, I'd be so concerned. And the
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: articles are coming out like, oh my God, people are
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: concerned and who knows if it's even true, right? And
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I'm like, listen, hopefully she's calling up her girlfriends being like,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I'm creating my own nylons, you know, because that's the
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: only thing he allows her to wear.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: So it's a business for them.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Hopefully it's something that. Then I'm like, well, if she
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: really is the wife, now they're saying they are legally married.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: then something happens to him. She really holds the bag.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: And her dad is like some mafia King in Australia. Wow.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: So I'm like, I don't think she's some dumb, dumb,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: you know, walking around that he picked up. That's like
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: looking at him. Like they're all.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Having a good time. Let them live. I mean, yeah.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: I mean, do you think it's like detrimental? She's going
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: to be hurt. Like it's like, she's not kidnapped. They're
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: living the good life.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I don't, I'm not worried about her anymore. I actually
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: think she, there's some, it'll be interesting to, I actually
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: think she's like, she might be in on it to
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: a level he doesn't know that she's in on it,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: is now I'm thinking.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Genius marketers.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Genius marketers.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: I know we keep talking about them.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Kim and Chris, Ray J, Kanye West, genius marketers.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Yeah. So what's some like fun memories you have?
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: You know, the timing of a lot of the breakouts
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: in non-scripted TV like Paris and Nicole, the Jenners, the Stuarts,
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: the Spellings, the Kardashians, into the Hills, into Laguna Beach.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: You know, there was that interesting circle that everybody, I
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: was telling you, everybody knew each other. We all grew
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: up in the same worlds. We all knew each other
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: and everybody wound up having their own shows and kind
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: of creating this movement of the new pop culture pre-influencer.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: And I think a lot of influencers came from the
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: desire to want to be a part of those shows. And, and, and,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Influencers today, and I manage a lot of really powerful
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: influencers and they are the richest, most powerful new celebrities
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: in the game. And they're a lot of fun to
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: work with and they print money and they have opportunity
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: like no other, because it's all based on an analytic.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: So you can get your money very easily based on
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: like what your likes and comments and all that good
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: stuff are, which we can talk about later with the
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Hollywood Handbook. But when I had sold Sons of Hollywood,
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: we knew what we had shot and we didn't know
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: if it was going to be a big giant hit
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: or what it was going to be. And, um, we
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: were preparing for daughters of Hollywood and daughters of Hollywood
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: was a cast that we had put together and it
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: was going to be Kim, um, Kim Stewart, Kim Kardashian,
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Kim Stewart, and Courtney Semel. So that was the cast. And,
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: and Courtney is really the one Courtney, Courtney Semel is
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: really the one that organized that whole group together. To
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: to bring me the cats. I wanted Courtney to be
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: like the centerpiece of it. And she's like, I'm like
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: the two people that I should do it with. I'll
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: do it with Kim and I'll do it with Kim Stewart,
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: with Kim Kardashian, Kim Stewart. And that's the show that
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: we ultimately put together. Chris brought Kim to a meeting.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Chris came. They sat down. They agreed to do the show.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: And had that show been a hit, they probably would
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: have did that one first. But obviously the Kardashian show
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: came and took that.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Oh, oh, I think you said that on the House
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: of Kardashians, right?
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: I don't know if we talked about that, because they
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: were looking for a show.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Oh, no, it was the other, in one of the episodes,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: there was, it was someone's lawyer. It was a lawyer
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: that said, I had this whole deal done for, oh,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: it was when they talk about Blac Chyna and Rob.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Kind of a similar story.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: Is that in the third hour? I haven't seen it.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Maybe, yeah. So Rob and Blac Chyna- and Blac Chyna
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: had this attorney, and the attorney's being interviewed in the-
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Who's in it, Walter? He's a good looking young black guy?
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's Walter, yeah.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Okay, so he, So he's being interviewed and he was
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Blac Chyna's attorney. And Rob calls him and is like,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Blac Chyna and I are together. We want to do
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: our own show. So he does a whole show and
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: sells it to like another network because I guess Rob
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: wasn't on any contract because he was not been in
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: the show for years. And then he said, and then Chris,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: you know, I guess got wind of it and the
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: whole deal fell apart and then it was going to
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: be at E. So, you know, that's kind of interesting.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: And then the whole deal with them, you know, what
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: happened when black China felt that they intercepted their show. And,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and then that whole big lawsuit happened in which the
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Kardashians prevailed. And now it seems like they're kind of
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: getting along, which is nice because of the daughter.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: I mean, it's like, you can't live in litigation with
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: your baby mamas and the whole thing. It's right. It's a,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: it's sad, you know? And, and, and what do they expect?
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: They made choices to all be like intertwined with each other.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: This is what you're going to get, you know? And
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: it's very hard to beat a defamation case anyways. So
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: that was going to be a tough one anyways.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: I'm really surprised. I am kind of surprised that they
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: continue with the show. I guess they continue with the show,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: the Kardashians.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Well, you know who it's for. It's not for Kim.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: It's for everybody else. Because they got to have a
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: vehicle because everybody still needs to see. I think that
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Kim is completely tuned out of the show. it's really
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: there for, for Chloe, for Courtney, for Chris.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Kylie's never been, Kylie hasn't been into it for, for
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: a few years.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: They don't, they don't need to do it, but they
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: don't need to, but I've.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Got to keep, you got to push it till the
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: wheels fall off. I, yeah, I think it's that Chris
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: doesn't want to give up the workingness of it, the relevancy.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Cause what I hear from a lot of like real
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: housewives that I, you know, that I know and I'm
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: friendly with when they do get let go, it's like,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: wait a minute, it's September. Where are all the, where's
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: the crew? Why are they in my kitchen? It's like
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the first year you get out of college and you
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: don't have a job. And it's like, where's my routine?
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Where's my friends? And so I think you know, that
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: was just so weird when they do this big moment
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: where they're crying to Brennan Murray, we're not going to
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: do the show anymore when they already had a deal done,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you know? And, and I think it's so weird that
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: it's with James Corden's production company. Yeah. And like, what happened? Like,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: or it's not weird. I don't know.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: And then, and then, um, is that who produces the show?
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I don't. Yeah.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: He's like a producer on it.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: I mean, I know, I know some of the, I
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: know some of the, the, the handlers that do the
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: day to day there and, There are no geniuses by
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: any means.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: But I mean, I just think, and I was like,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I was really surprised. I wasn't surprised that it ended.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I was surprised that they picked up somewhere else because
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I was like.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: Well, they went for the money. I mean, the new
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: deal was going to be because, because you're capped at E.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: So you're capped. I mean, you've been, you know, I've
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: done a million deals with E. You know E. E
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: is a great place to be at that time. Yeah. Today,
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: that is not a great place to be. There's, there's,
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: there's the, You know, the advertising is down, everything is down,
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: so they can't do it. So being part of the
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Disney family, that completely jumped it up. They got to
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: hit one more lick, one more big couple hundred million,
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: 200 million out of another network to another couple seasons,
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: and then they'll be off to the next one.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: One thing that Chris always said early on is like
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: season 20, which I think they've already hit season 20,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Kylie gets married. She always said that, and I swear
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: to God, I think she... was like, we're going to
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: do this until Kendall or Kylie get married and we
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: like finish it with a bang on a wedding. I
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: don't know. But, and who knows that that'll ever happen
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: because I think the girls are like on a path
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: of like, you know, we're never going to get married.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I don't, we don't want to get married. Why would
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: we or whatever, which I understand. But I think that,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: I guess I just thought like you have all the businesses,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: you have all the money, why do you, why keep
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: doing this show? But they do control the show. And
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I guess, even though I feel like they're not getting
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: the stories about them right now, the way they used
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: to and the, and whatever people are watching, we already
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: saw happen on Instagram months before. So it's different than
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: the way it was on the E show. I guess
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it is a matter of just keeping working and being relevant.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: And, and, and funny enough, I mean, I, I think
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: that this, this documentary that we're in, was extremely well done.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: I think that they did a great job producing and
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: cutting it. It felt a lot like succession. And I
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: think that they told the story very fairly. There's nothing
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: negative in it. This is not a negative story. This
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: is a story of the American dream. This is a
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: story of people setting out to go accomplish goals and
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: creating brands and businesses and an empire. And people did it.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: And you literally are seeing it happen in like broken
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: down how it happened, they should be proud of it.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I mean, that's what I- I think
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Caitlin was completely fair in it too. Totally.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: And that's why, I mean, I've interviewed Caitlin. for my
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: show and I was always just really fascinated and Chris,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: and I was always very fascinated, you know, by the journey.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: And I think that's why my whole part was kind
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: of talking about that. And I mean, I was happy
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: to see it because I'm like, no, there's nothing... negative
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: that I, that I said, and it's just the facts.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: And it was like, and I, and one thing I
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: said that they didn't use it. I was always like any,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: anybody that's making money off of Tik TOK, Instagram, whatever
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: has to think the Kardashians, because they were the first
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: people to make that. And I remember just when Twitter
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: was popping right when it was, and she like came
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: to my comedy show, Kim and was like, Oh my God, embarrassing,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: you know, at Heather McDonald is, um, doing an impression
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: of all of us or whatever. And, you know, and
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: I'm like, all of a sudden I'm like, what is
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: going on with my Twitter? You know, like, like seeing
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: how powerful it is. And then there would be times
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: where people would be like, oh, Kim, can you just
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: tweet this about this? And she was doing it at first.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: And then I remember the day where, no, like I
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: cannot do that anymore.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Cause I get paid.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I get paid and I can't, you know, it's just
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: like anything. It's like, taking a photo with one person
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: at the restaurant and I got to take with everybody
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: for a famous person, whatever. And I like respected it
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: and then making it such a profitable, making it a
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: way of like the importance of it. And, but I
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: remember how she'd be like, like when I was at
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: the store, the dash store, like Courtney's like signing her
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: loan docs or whatever I had there. And, and Somehow we're,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: and it was like summer or whatever, but I said, oh, well,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: you know, the best Halloween costume ever, the most flattering
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: has to be Wonder Woman. And she goes, oh, and
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: she opens the sidekick. That's how long it was. And
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: she like puts a note in there. And sure enough,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: the next, that fall, she's Wonder Woman. And, you know,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: she looked amazing in the outfit and like she's on
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: the red carpet and all that kind of stuff. And
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: so I think like I was impressed with that. She
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: was always there, always like thinking in a smart way,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: like being and also really organized. They were all super
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: organized and neat.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: And Ray is the same way. Yeah. I think that's
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: why it was so amazing when you put Ray and
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Kim together that they.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Were like, ooh, we're going to go big.
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: A cool part in the doc was when Ray and
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Kim are boyfriend and girlfriend and Kim's organizing the closets.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: And when I went to her condo that day, you know,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: she's like, oh, I sell this stuff on the Internet.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I buy the hot items and then nobody can get
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: this hot designer item and then I sell it. And
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I was like, what? Like I didn't, you know, she
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: had to do it on the camera and put it
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: on the computer. And I was like, how do you
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: do this? Like all the things that is like basically
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: eBay and stuff like she was.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Doing before anyone's doing it. And the kids are doing
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: this now. Yeah.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: And so, and I'm seeing her closet and it's all like,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: you know, organized, but it was just a, it was
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: just a two bedroom condo in a building. And so,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: but in the show, then she goes, I'm going to,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I met Paris and she wants to help me. She
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: wants me to organize her closet. And if you've seen
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: the Paris docs, Paris doesn't have the Kris Jenner organized
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: gene that all the girls have. She's kind of like
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: a mess. Yeah, shit everywhere. Like I can relate more
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: to Paris than the girls. And Ray says, and I
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: think you tell the story, Ray says, Borrow my Bentley,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: show up in the Bentley. She has a Bentley. Let
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: her know that you, how did you say it? Let
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: her know that you don't need this job, but you're
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: happy to do it. And she'll see you on a
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: different level. And Kim is very likable. So I can
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: see why she makes good friendships, you know, and they
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: made a real friendship.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: There's an old statement out there. And I think a
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: lot of people know, and I know, I know Disick
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: knows this real well, but Kim too. Fake it till
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: you make it. You took, you got to remember that
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: Kim is, worked for Brandy, Ray J's sister. Was her assistant.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: That's how she meant Ray J, right?
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Ray J and Brandy.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Did she, wait, was she dating Ray J first or
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: working for Brandy first?
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: She's working for Brandy.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: And then Ray snatched her.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: So you have to remember, they were a big monster
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: celebrity family at that time. They had big, huge TV show,
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: huge touring business, huge hit songs. Ray was popping. So
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: Ray and her You know, Ray had the Bentley. He's like,
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: take it, go up there, you know, have the look.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: I remember. That's the fake it till you make it.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Yeah. And I definitely remember they were definitely, they're all
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: really charming. And I remember that was the first time
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: I was like, I kind of was like, yeah, you
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: should try to be friends with. I kind of saw
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: it and be like, oh, she always tries to be
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: friends with the richest, most successful person in the room.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: And she succeeds because she is a delightful person, Chris,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: and she is interesting and she throws nice parties and
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: you want to go. And then you go to the
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: party and you meet other interesting, fun, nice people. So
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: it was really great. But I do remember one time
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: being at one of those lunches and her saying, and
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: then Courtney met this friend and their friends and they
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: have a jet. And I said, that's my girl. And
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I was like, I never had even met someone that
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: had a jet and that, you know, trying to try
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: it out. you know, see if I can be friends
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: with someone with the jet. So the fact that she
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: is now besties with Lauren Sanchez, when Lauren Sanchez was
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: around for the last 20 years and was friends with
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Jillian Barbary and Chris, the way I know Chris is
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Jillian Barbary was doing skating with celebrities and Bruce was
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: doing skating with celebrities. And I was Jillian's guest. And
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: then we all meet and Chris and I look over,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I'm like, who is this dark haired, gorgeous family, you know, watching? Oh, that's,
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: you know, Bruce's family. We all meet and she's like,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: come over to our house to watch the premiere of
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: the skating with celebrities. So I go over there and
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: then Kylie is like on this, the intercom, like this
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: is how old the house was. There's those intercoms. And
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: I was like, Come up to the billiard room, please.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: We have a show. Kendall and I have a show.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: And we go up there and Kylie is like eight
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: and she has this outfit on this, like a, like a, uh,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Halloween outfit, like a genie. And she's doing the Kips
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Don't Lie Shakira dance. Really good. Like really dancing pretty good.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: And I'm like, this is so cute. And Bruce is like, oh,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I think that's enough. And he just picks her up.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: And it was those types of stories that I was like, Chris,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: like that is so funny when you do your show,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: like that has to be featured, you know, like something
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: about how Kylie was like really kind of, they were
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: into it, especially Kylie. Kylie had like, was like the
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: funny little one. And so, yeah, I think that's just,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: it's just interesting when I look back at how like,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you know, okay. Oh, so that, so anyway, I'm saying
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: there were lots of opportunities to be friends with Lauren
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Sanchez back then.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Right. You know, and she didn't have all the other
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: side of it, but.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Now I'm like, but now they, I can see why
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: they are friends. You know, she's marrying.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Jeff's having a good time with her.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: And they're on the same level and billionaires want to
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: be friends with billionaires and they want to date billionaires,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: ex-wives and all of it.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: It's like, it's a small circle.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: It's always been that way. It's just a crazy world.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: This whole community of this next generation, because this is
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: kind of like, I guess you would say the new
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: money generation. They're all intertwined with each other. And they're
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: all going to the same events, being seen together, dinners,
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: all that stuff. But God bless them. It doesn't matter.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Enjoy your life. You've worked hard.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Everyone's worked hard for it.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Let's go get it. We still want to work and
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: make it happen. Yeah. you know?
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: But I mean, yeah, I think it's great. I'm like,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: you guys should be best friends. You should absolutely be
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: on each other's yachts and each other's planes and talk,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: you know, being around the people that you know, and
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: like making deals.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Right. Right.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: At dinner and one meeting done. You wanted this at Amazon? Done.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Here it is.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Like done, done. So now did you and Scott, are
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: you still friendly?
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: I mean, Scott and I, you know, we see each other,
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: but it's hard for me. See, the problem with Scott
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: is I love Scott as a person. I know he's
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: been through a lot and I just know him too,
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: too well. I know his MO. I know his way
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: of thinking. I know how he speaks about people. I
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: know his bad habits. I know where all the bodies
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: are buried with him. So for someone who really his
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: entire livelihood and everything he's done was kind of, you
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: relationships that, you know, myself and Sean Stewart had and
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: doors that were open by us to him and have
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: not really any type of gratitude or grateful graciousness. And
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: then to fuck people over on deals and do stuff
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: like that, it's just bad business. And listen, I've been
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: in the game a really long time. You know, I
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: don't play with how that stuff happens. We do hold
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: a grudge about stuff. And I did a lot of
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: deals for him that he screwed over me and my company.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: And he's a very bad business guy. I walked this,
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: I had a lot of, like we had, you know,
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: He was actually, it's funny, he was actually greenlit to
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: be the host of the reboot of Lifestyles of the
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: Rich and Famous for E.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: He would have been great.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: I had a big mega deal for him. And he's
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: his own worst enemy because we had the deal episodes
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: about to shoot and he just like, the way he
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: treats people and treats networks and people's time and stuff
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: like that, he could have had such the best show
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: in the world, the easiest way, take over. And he
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: screws it up. And then you don't realize how much
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: work people put in to go get something for you
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: or the stuff that you, that, you know, as a
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: manager and as a producer, we have to eat a
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: lot of shit for people that do stuff in a
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: bad way that create bad stuff for not only their
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: relationships with buyers, but my relationship.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: So you had a whole thing going and they were like,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: and then he did a few, he did enough things
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: that made them go.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so he killed- And did that happen.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Before or after he did his one season of the
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Scott- Before. Before he does a house?
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: Before.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: And were you part of Scott doing a house?
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't be a part of some garbage like that.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: I mean, your idea is much better and much better
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: suited because the thing about Scott that is, is when
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: he's on, he is funny.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but you gotta be- And the pompousness is funny.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: You gotta be on. Yeah. See, the other thing with
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: him too is like, That would have been good. Okay. Listen,
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: you have three beautiful children. You have a great girlfriend.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: You're now all super famous. You're printing money. You're doing
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: your thing. I think that he knows how badly he
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: fucked that up. And now he has to live and
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: watch that relationship and watch her get married and watch
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: this happy ending. And you're not part of it. Then
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: you should have really thought about it. But at the
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: same time, Courtney, you should have thought about who you
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: brought in your life because you brought in this guy
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: in your life who's really out of his fucking mind.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: And that's what it'll be. And I'll challenge him any
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: fucking day of the week to come and challenge anything
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: that we're saying. Like this guy moved to L.A. I
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: didn't want him in Sons of Hollywood. That was my shit.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: I created that show. I produced that show. I starred
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: in that show.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: So he was featured on camera a little bit?
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: No, he moved to LA to insert himself into the show.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: But who did he know first?
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: Sean. Oh. Sean. So Sean Stewart.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Sean Stewart, okay.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Sean Stewart and him. Sean met Scott. And Sean's my brother,
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: but Sean's a little over the top and lost too.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: He met Scott- And are Sean and Kimberly Stewart, were
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: they from the same mother?
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: Yes, Alana. Oh, okay. Yeah.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: And what's Kimberly Stewart doing now?
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: I have no idea. Okay. Like living at her dad's.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: I mean, Kimberly's another one who like we, I managed
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: Kimberly for many years. She's another one who had tons
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: of opportunities, but her attitude and the way that she
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: dealt with people, she screwed shit up. We had multiple
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: TV shows. You want to hear a really funny story?
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: This is a good one. Okay. So- There's a lot
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: of rivalry between a lot of these families and the
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: Kardashians before they made it. They were really black sheeps
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: in a lot of ways. They were like outsiders and
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: they were made fun of by Paris, by the stewards,
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: by a lot of people. Everybody was all friends, but
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: there was a degree that they were semi made fun
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: of because of being involved in the OJ Simpson stuff.
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: and the thirstiness and they hooked up with a lot.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Everybody was all slutty back then, the guys and the girls,
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: but they were notorious. So we talked about that show
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: called The Filthy Rich Cattle Drive. There was a kid
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: that was in that show that was a prince. He
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: was a prince of Italy or something like that, some
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: weird thing. So he had bought a show That I
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: did a deal for with Kimberly Stewart and Kelly Osbourne
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: and that prince from that show.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: And had Kelly been on Osbourne's yet?
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: Yes, Osbourne's already happened. So Kelly was looking to make
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: a comeback. Kim was popping a little bit. And then
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: this guy, they loved him from that thing. So I
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: had a big meeting with Lisa Berger, who ran E!
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: and Jeff Jenkins, who ran the Kardashian show, and Farnaz
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: and Jonathan Murray, who owned Buda Murray. We all sat
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: there and we had this deal for the show. Lisa
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Berger greenlit it, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. We start
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: shooting the show and it was basically like a reverse
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: Simple Life. They took a prince from Italy and then
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: Kimberly Stewart and Kelly Osbourne, like they got to like
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: take him and teach him about, you know, the United States, whatever.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: Some weird, crazy concept. Now, Kim and Kelly went to
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: war during production. With each other? With each other. And
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: the show got shut down. They both walked from the show.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: And it was a fucking disaster. Now, at that exact time,
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: that was the month or about six weeks before that
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: they shot the barbecue that was the original pilot for
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: the Kardashians. And basically, because they always talk shit about
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: the Kardashians, they basically greenlit... the Kardashian show, and then
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: fired everybody from this Prince, Kelly Osbourne, Courtney, Kimberly Stewart show.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: And that show got done. And it was very embarrassing
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: for them because all of a sudden, like their rival,
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: the Kardashians, they went straight to series.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: That's so interesting because, yeah, the Kelly Osbourne and the
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Osbourne story, you know, I would– we had some doings
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: with each other at E! And I always really liked her,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: thought she was great. And I want to say, like,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: she hosted something and I was, like, a presenter and
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: she was fun. And then, of course, she went on
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: The View.
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: And just to be given all these opportunities, just given.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: And I mean, you remember the Osbournes, not that school matters,
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: but it does too. I think you should go to
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: high school. I mean, none of the kids even went
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: to like high school. And so, you know, they're getting
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: all these opportunities. And I see her at this event
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: a few years ago, it was before COVID, right before COVID.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: And she had something that she was supposed to do
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: and she goes, If I don't want to do something like...
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I don't want to say this because I'm like... Anyway,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: I got that she does... get out of things or
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: flake on things. And she thinks they're always going to
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: keep coming. And I remember sitting at that moment being like, I,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: what are you doing? Like I would never blow off
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: an opportunity, but that's because nothing was ever given to me.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: Right. Well, if you were the daughter of some really
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: famous guy and you grew up really rich, you would
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: look at him and be like, I don't give a fuck.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: Or you do really bad business. And that's why you would.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Yeah, or just like when it just comes so easy
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: and you're 13 and you're a star and you immediately
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: get a record and you're performing like a virgin on
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: the MTV Award, all these things. And, you know, and
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: then she goes on The View and she says the
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: ultimate joke that fell flat was, I mean, do you
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: remember what it was?
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: No.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: It's so bad. She, you know, is trying to be
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: political because it's a political show. And she says, all
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: I want to say is Donald Trump, if you don't
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: let any immigrants in this country, who is going to
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: clean your toilet? And they're like, what? And she goes,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: they're like, that's not what, that's not the only jobs
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: immigrants could have. She's like, no, I didn't mean that.
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: And it's live. And she thought she was like so
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: proud to do it. And then she immediately tried to say,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: just so you know, I do have a cleaning person,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: but I make sure I only, I always clean my
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: own toilet. I'm like, nobody cleans your own toilet that
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: has a cleaning person. And like, you just forget it.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: And I just think, I was like, wow, that because
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: what it showed you is that you were a real
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: child of privilege.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: And you have to just embrace you just have to
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: be who you are. Like the reason I think it's
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: interesting that there are TikTok people that are like, like,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: I follow this girl and she called the stay at
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: home daughter. I think she's now engaged. She's a pretty
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: girl and she did really funny videos, but she was
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: a really rich girl and she would like, you know,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: narrate her day of shopping and facials. But she was
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: funny in the narration I've written to her. And I'm like,
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: you're funny. Just be who you are. Like don't, it's when,
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: it's when people try to act like they're not, they're
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: not privileged. It doesn't mean you're a bad person, that
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: you came from a lot of money or that you
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: were handed these opportunities. But what, what people won't accept
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: today is people that aren't being authentic.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: That's true. And those guys, I mean, Jack and Kelly
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: opened up the doors for all of this stuff because
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: without that show, we wouldn't have had the opportunity to
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: sell all these other shows. I mean, really the forefront
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: of that world was the Osbournes and then The Simple Life. Yeah.
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: I mean, that was the entire, I mean, that made
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: my entire business too because I signed everybody out of
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: those worlds. Right. So it was, you know, it was
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: very important.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: So let's wrap up and talk a little bit about
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: what you're some of the things that you want to
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: share with the people, the Juicy Scoopers.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: Well, look, I've been I've been doing this for 25
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: years as a, you know, agent, manager and our producer,
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: creator and the star of a couple of my own
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: shows like Sons of Hollywood and Hollywood Hillbillies. And I
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: co-created a show called Celebrity Rehab. With Dr. Drew, that
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: was a big, big hit. And all of Ray J's
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: TV shows, you know, I'm the executive producer of and
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: we created those shows together. So what I've done is
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: I've created the Hollywood Handbook, which is a VT, a
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: virtual training seminar, which is kind of like a book
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: that you watch and listen to. And I teach you
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: everything that you need to know how to become an influencer,
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: how to become a reality star, how to basically become
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: a pop culture talked about, you know, celebrity. So I
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: teach you how to monetize your content, create your content,
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: reach out to buyers and reach out to media, market
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: your stuff, and everything is in there from A to
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: B to C in the hollywoodhandbook.com. And it's very easy.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: to understand. And believe me, listen, there was a time
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: and place when Ray J and Kim were sitting around
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: trying to figure it out and how to get a
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: marketing plan together, which they did, which turned them into billionaires.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: These are the kinds of things that you're going to
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: learn hands on. in the Hollywood Handbook, because we've been there,
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: we've done it, and I wanna share what I teach
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: my clients to do with the world.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: And so they just watch videos, or what is this?
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like going to a class.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Okay, so it's like a masterclass. It's like the masterclass,
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: but you're not part of it.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: It is a masterclass, but everybody's like, I have a masterclass.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: This is a virtual training seminar.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: How many hours is it?
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: The first initial launch right now is an hour and
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: a half.
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: So it's broken up and you can take it and
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: we're there to help you. And there's a couple of
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: different paths that you can go down where you can
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: actually reach out and work with us directly. And, you know,
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: that we're going to have big group calls with people
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: and there's one-on-ones that we can do. And if you
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: really want to go to the next level, I will
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: actually mentor you and help open up the doors with
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: your projects and get them out there.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Very cool.
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: All right. Great. I partnered with Brad Lee, who owns
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: Lightspeed BT. And, you know, he's the biggest in the
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: game in that world. He's the mastermind, huge, huge social
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: media influencer and has the technology behind how we launched
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: this VT. Awesome. All right.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: Tell them again how to find it and how to
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: follow you.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: Well, I am at SirDavidWeintraub on Instagram.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: Oh, you did a Sir thing too.
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Oh, he was the Lord Disick. You did the Sir.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: I'm the Sir, yeah.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: Yeah. And thehollywoodhandbook.com is where you can get the VT.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: And obviously, go to dwetalent.com and that's my website. Awesome.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: Thank you for having me on.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: Very juicy.
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: Very.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: Okay, guys, we do have a little update as promised
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: about the earrings and earring gate. I first really want
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: to thank all the Juicy Scoopers that all your comments
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: from the YouTube to the Patreon to under my Instagram
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: and TikTok reels, giving your insight. It's really because of you,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: one particular Patreon person who cracked this cold case. It
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: was a cold case. And I love hearing your analogy
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: and I'm really going through it. So, I'm just going
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: to give a short update for right now to just
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: give you some facts and then I'll cover some more
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: of that and what I've discovered on the Top of
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: Thursday show. So, Over the weekend, we did go to
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: the UPS and we sent a replica of the beautiful
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: earrings back to Krista Lamas. And we have received word
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: via Venmo that $ 3, 000 have been returned to our account.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: And at this point, I just really want to thank
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: all those that conspired against me because the fact that
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: they are all agreeing to stay silent proves what I
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: believe to be true. And silence is they've planned it.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: It's guilt. It's knowing what they did wrong. And it's
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: quite obvious to me and to you guys. And I
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: will share more. I just need to process everything that's
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: coming in. Um, and also give you great, great juicy
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: content at the same time. So thanks so much for listening.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: Go to heathermcdolland.net. Holidays are here. A lot of people
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: are wanting juicy scoop merch. I also have some juicy
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: scoop hoop stuff. If you and your friends have been
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: following it and you want to enjoy this moment, there's onesies,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: there's baseball caps, shirts, bags, all of it at heathermcdolland.net.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: That's also where you go to join Patreon. New episodes
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: every Friday and so much more. Thank you so much.

- 1:32:38Speaker 5: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 1:32:40Speaker 5: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy

- 1:32:50Speaker 5: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
