September 24th
Rock, alternative music and hip-hop collide in today’s episode of The Music Dial, with stories connected to September 24.
We remember Linda McCartney and go back 35 years to one of the most remarkable release days in modern music history, when Nirvana’s Nevermind, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik and A Tribe Called Quest’s The Low End Theory all arrived on the same date.
Three landmark albums, three very different sounds, and one day that helped define the music of the 1990s.
