- 0:53Speaker 3: Well, I sometimes quite like being on a down buzz
- 0:56Speaker 3: you know what I mean, stink bus.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Yeah, they call me stink bus. Anyway, you're keep an
- 1:02Speaker 2: eye for the old billboard stuff funny a great yeah,
- 1:05Speaker 2: good stuff. Hate but it'll be honest with your mogi.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I've thought about it a lot, and I've decided that
- 1:11Speaker 3: my favorite T shirt of yours is your white one.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16Speaker 3: God, it's looking really good. And it may be that
- 1:18Speaker 3: it's a little sea through. Maybe that's what it is.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I don't know, but it's just something about it. And
- 1:23Speaker 3: every time you walk into the office and your white
- 1:26Speaker 3: tidy T shirt there, I put a smile on my face.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Mate, how are you grause your mad dog? You're a
- 1:32Speaker 2: sick pervert. I've got more than one white T shirt,
- 1:37Speaker 2: but this particular one is probably see through because I've
- 1:40Speaker 2: had it for so long.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I think it's thread beer. It's very fair about thread beer. Yeah,
- 1:45Speaker 4: I can see a sort of a little bit of
- 1:46Speaker 4: the shadow of my nips in there. They taste like
- 1:53Speaker 4: burn meat patties. That's the weird thing. That is the
- 1:56Speaker 4: weird thing. Not only do they look like burnt meat patties,
- 1:59Speaker 4: the taste like wow, what do you mean?
- 2:02Speaker 3: And old kezy, what do you want to You've got
- 2:04Speaker 3: a lovely white because a T.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Shirt is a long sleeve. It's a long sleeve T shirt.
- 2:07Speaker 3: You like your long sleeve teas, don't you? Keysy?
- 2:10Speaker 2: What's that one like covering up. It's Vans, it's just
- 2:14Speaker 2: Advance ship. Yeah, this is a generic white T shirt.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I don't like covering up. I like getting it all out.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Do you just can?
- 2:21Speaker 3: I asked, as you had your hair cut yesterday, Kesey,
- 2:24Speaker 3: did you do your styling today because you weren't heavy
- 2:26Speaker 3: with the starling yesterday?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Did you do it yourself today? No, we're back and
- 2:29Speaker 2: got them to do it. That's what I'm gonna do.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I'm just gonna go to the barbers every day and
- 2:32Speaker 2: they're going to do my hair for me. Jason Crazy,
- 2:34Speaker 2: You're looking really good man, Thank you.
- 2:36Speaker 3: And you know one thing I noticed about you, keyzy,
- 2:38Speaker 3: you got a lovely complexion.
- 2:42Speaker 2: What do I feel like that means I've got a
- 2:44Speaker 2: terrible complexion.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Why know, You've got a lovely, healthy complexion.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Thanks Jason, you look great too, man. Yeah, thank you man.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Love the ship? Yeah, thank you. Hey.
- 2:52Speaker 3: No, listen, we've got a big, big, showy head. But
- 2:56Speaker 3: let's let's kick it off with a bit of wheeze and.
- 2:59Speaker 2: It just to get us in the mood. What are
- 3:00Speaker 2: we safe to? Okay?
- 3:02Speaker 1: The Holearchy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keezy.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Jimmy Hendrix here on the radio hod Achy Big Show
- 3:09Speaker 3: this Tuesday afternoon. Beautiful data is too, hope, it is
- 3:12Speaker 3: beautiful wherever you are in this great country of ours
- 3:15Speaker 3: and fellas. I think it's no through. Get that old,
- 3:24Speaker 3: that old hoodie j is.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Getting getting on in years. Blow in the tooth, yeah, man,
- 3:29Speaker 2: old knocking on Heaven's door.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I mean, you know, when you get to your sort
- 3:34Speaker 3: of wow, I'm not quite mid forties, but I'm nearly there.
- 3:37Speaker 2: You're here, of course, made you know.
- 3:39Speaker 3: And I've noticed when I look in the mirror these days,
- 3:42Speaker 3: apart from my tired eyes and my sort of sallow cheeks,
- 3:46Speaker 3: I notice I'm getting the old grays happening in.
- 3:48Speaker 2: The heir of the air and just noticing it, you.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Know, sort of especially on the side there by the
- 3:53Speaker 3: years in the white tufts. And I look across at
- 3:56Speaker 3: you every day as I do, and you're running a
- 3:58Speaker 3: few very distinguished kind of gray hairs.
- 4:01Speaker 2: And you do there and you can barely notice my.
- 4:08Speaker 3: It's true, And I just wanted to sort of keep
- 4:10Speaker 3: particularly your view on this s moogie to die or
- 4:13Speaker 3: not to die?
- 4:15Speaker 4: I mean, I'm going to die one day I guess
- 4:18Speaker 4: we all are sure, but when it comes to my hair,
- 4:22Speaker 4: it is. It's a difficult one because I've always been
- 4:25Speaker 4: of the opinion that you just get old, and you
- 4:28Speaker 4: know you die gracefully. You know, the aging process is
- 4:31Speaker 4: what the aging process is, and you just do what
- 4:33Speaker 4: you can and you know you're not going to spend
- 4:35Speaker 4: any sort of money on outside of trying to say
- 4:37Speaker 4: relatively healthy and drinking heaps and smoking cigarettes.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It's what else can you do? Yeah?
- 4:41Speaker 4: Well, however, however, I did do a job and an
- 4:46Speaker 4: acting job one time. And I've told the story before,
- 4:49Speaker 4: but I did an acting job and as part of that,
- 4:52Speaker 4: they died my hair.
- 4:53Speaker 2: They took the grays out of it. Oh was that
- 4:55Speaker 2: when you had the speaker shoved up for that? Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 2: that's right.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I wasn't on that one. No, no, no, I
- 5:03Speaker 4: keep my graves for that one. Nice and so whatever
- 5:06Speaker 4: one it was, I can't remember.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 5:07Speaker 4: I come home after having the die the dye job done.
- 5:10Speaker 4: I walked through the door. My wife looks at me
- 5:12Speaker 4: and she said, God, you look so much healthier. Right, okay, God,
- 5:17Speaker 4: you look so much healthier. Now what am I meant
- 5:20Speaker 4: to do with it? So I look unhealthy normally, and
- 5:24Speaker 4: having my hair died makes me look healthy. Well, I
- 5:26Speaker 4: want to look healthy. So do I die in my
- 5:28Speaker 4: hair now? Is that what I meant to do? And
- 5:30Speaker 4: now I've gone too far? Great, because if I start
- 5:33Speaker 4: dying my hair now, people.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Are going to notice. You know, what you've got to do,
- 5:37Speaker 2: Mogie is you've got to take like a let's say
- 5:39Speaker 2: there's a few weeks coming up where we're off here
- 5:42Speaker 2: for a long while and people won't see a lot
- 5:43Speaker 2: of stuff from you for a month ago, like cold turkey,
- 5:46Speaker 2: come back, beautiful jit black here, nice black. If you've
- 5:50Speaker 2: got to do it, don't just go to the supermarket
- 5:52Speaker 2: and buy some swats cough or some lorrial or whatever
- 5:55Speaker 2: the hell it is and put it in you, because
- 5:56Speaker 2: it's going to look terrible. If you're going to do it,
- 5:58Speaker 2: you have to go get someone to be like, can
- 5:59Speaker 2: you make it look even slightly believable? Yeah?
- 6:01Speaker 4: Well there's the trouble is that also I need a
- 6:03Speaker 4: haircut every two weeks, so i'd have to diet every
- 6:06Speaker 4: two weeks.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Yeah what's that cost? God knows.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm I'm of the old school, you know, And
- 6:13Speaker 3: that's racist.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I'm like an old ram.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and I like what you said about growing old
- 6:21Speaker 3: gracefully because that's kind of my tune to it. Yeah, Well,
- 6:23Speaker 3: I've got I'm in a situation now where my testicles
- 6:26Speaker 3: are getting lower. There's a weird thing happening with my nipple.
- 6:30Speaker 3: You know, I haven't got great legs. I'm not you know,
- 6:33Speaker 3: I'm looking my age.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Are you describing yourself now? When you're in your twenties now?
- 6:38Speaker 2: And you know?
- 6:39Speaker 3: And I'm noticing the grays there and I'm thinking back
- 6:41Speaker 3: of it. Man, I'm going to own this stuff. But
- 6:44Speaker 3: then the other side of it here is like that
- 6:47Speaker 3: example from my wife. She finds me more attractive if
- 6:51Speaker 3: I've died my hair.
- 6:52Speaker 2: That horse is long.
- 6:53Speaker 4: So do I do? Honestly, what do I do? My
- 6:57Speaker 4: wife is telling me you are more attractive if you die.
- 6:59Speaker 2: You're here.
- 7:00Speaker 4: She hasn't seen it. In so many words, you're smarter
- 7:02Speaker 4: than that. It was a comment I'm thinking to myself
- 7:05Speaker 4: here on a minute, does that mean I should be
- 7:06Speaker 4: dying my hair? You know, I don't want it because
- 7:09Speaker 4: either go bald, because my wife likes older bald men.
- 7:12Speaker 4: As we've established on the show.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I want my wife to like me. Yeah, that's a
- 7:16Speaker 2: good point. Or you start wearing like cool hats being
- 7:20Speaker 2: one of those hat guys.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, let's not make it a big part,
- 7:25Speaker 3: but let's check it out on the text line dying
- 7:27Speaker 3: gray hair, Yes or no.
- 7:28Speaker 2: You're dying your hair because you're going to make it
- 7:31Speaker 2: like look believable, because if you shout with Jit Black here,
- 7:33Speaker 2: you're just gonna look stupid good. Also, make sure you
- 7:35Speaker 2: do keep an ear out. Over the next twenty minutes
- 7:37Speaker 2: or so, you will hear a cue to call to
- 7:39Speaker 2: come and play our brand new game Naughty or Nice,
- 7:41Speaker 2: But you can win two hundred bucks thanks to our
- 7:44Speaker 2: mates at twoy beautiful. Oh eight hundred urduk is a
- 7:46Speaker 2: number of call. By the way, is a black Seats.
- 7:51Speaker 1: The whold Aking Big Show with Mike and Kezy tune
- 7:55Speaker 1: in week days and four on Radio hod Ich.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Isn't it a bit of bush for your Tuesday afternoon?
- 8:00Speaker 3: The other time is four twenty four Now the two
- 8:02Speaker 3: eve Naughty or Nice.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Basically, we want to know if.
- 8:05Speaker 3: You've been naughty or nice this year and you could
- 8:07Speaker 3: win yourself two hundred bucks cash.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Sorry Jason's two hundred bucks. Two hundred bucks cash and
- 8:12Speaker 2: it's going for the next two weeks. Yeah, but it's
- 8:14Speaker 2: sort to celebrate the new vodka Black Current and vodka
- 8:17Speaker 2: Sour Cheery too e RTDs, which are out now. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 2: how it works? Did you call up an eight hundred hoda?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Can you tell us whether you've be naughty or nice
- 8:23Speaker 2: and then we'll decide who gets the cash? Great stuff? Keys,
- 8:26Speaker 2: you get a care in your mad Barsett? How's life? Yeah?
- 8:29Speaker 5: Good?
- 8:29Speaker 2: What are you joy yourself? Son? Yeah?
- 8:31Speaker 3: Good things mate? Getting by as they say, Karen, what
- 8:34Speaker 3: do you do for a cross?
- 8:35Speaker 2: By the way, Karen, I worked for a joinery company
- 8:38Speaker 2: here and christ here. You're okay? Now, Karen, have you
- 8:42Speaker 2: been naughty or nice this year?
- 8:45Speaker 5: Oh?
- 8:45Speaker 4: I think I've been pretty nice because I teamed up
- 8:48Speaker 4: with a cover and we did a charity fundraiser for
- 8:50Speaker 4: some John.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Ah. That is that's great stuff. How much did you
- 8:54Speaker 2: raise your mad Dog? We did a copy of It's
- 8:59Speaker 2: in the Bag and we were he's just over fourteen.
- 9:04Speaker 2: That's so nice. It's gonna be tough to beat that one.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Go and see somebody calls them that's been jacking it
- 9:11Speaker 4: or something filthy.
- 9:12Speaker 2: The guy that came forward, his balls fell out of
- 9:14Speaker 2: his pants. Craig.
- 9:17Speaker 3: And see what Craig's got to say, get a Craig,
- 9:19Speaker 3: you advice?
- 9:19Speaker 2: I was life. Yeah, it's going good, good, Craig. Naughty
- 9:24Speaker 2: are nice?
- 9:25Speaker 1: I guess I've been a little bit naughty.
- 9:27Speaker 2: What's happened, mate, talk us through it? Go on?
- 9:30Speaker 3: I guess mid year and I had the police helicopter
- 9:32Speaker 3: come on and give me a visit, and then the
- 9:34Speaker 3: armed defender squad.
- 9:35Speaker 6: So yeah, a.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Little bit naughty for what reason? You're sick?
- 9:39Speaker 3: Leading off fireworks that I have left over?
- 9:41Speaker 2: And the neighbors recorded me for a firearm and they
- 9:44Speaker 2: seence a helicopter. They reported you for firearms.
- 9:48Speaker 6: Yeah, with their guns.
- 9:50Speaker 2: So yeah, wow what what? What? What time of the
- 9:53Speaker 2: year is this, Craig? And are you Are you in Auckland? Yeah, Auckland,
- 9:59Speaker 2: West Auckland.
- 10:00Speaker 3: No, not sure, you see, because that's bane of my life,
- 10:05Speaker 3: the fireworks people I love.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I live just up the road here.
- 10:09Speaker 4: And can I say that we have we have the
- 10:11Speaker 4: police helicopters over us every single night, ten times a
- 10:15Speaker 4: night as well.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yes, it's extraordinary out west. It's like living in Vietnam.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Helicopters every word it's bloody crazy al right, fellas.
- 10:25Speaker 2: So the call is between Craig and Karen. Where are
- 10:29Speaker 2: we sitting? Just put Craig on the bottom on hold there, obviously, Craig,
- 10:33Speaker 2: I love that a helicopter came to his house, Defenders,
- 10:36Speaker 2: it's pretty a bit of overkill, he doesn't.
- 10:37Speaker 4: I feel like if the cops had shot him, that
- 10:40Speaker 4: would have put him over the line. For me, well,
- 10:43Speaker 4: I think the fact that he wasn't shot. I don't
- 10:46Speaker 4: know if raising fourteen grand feels like it's pretty, it's
- 10:49Speaker 4: as good as if we're not going to give it
- 10:51Speaker 4: for that, then do the people that have done good
- 10:53Speaker 4: deeds all year do they have even any chance?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Really? Yeah? Fick or I'm gone caring all right, let's
- 11:00Speaker 2: hey kearny there man mate. Yeah, you got yourself two
- 11:03Speaker 2: hundred bucks mate. Awesome, thanks to yeah.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Hi, And awesome to you Karen for raising fourteen grand
- 11:11Speaker 3: for St.
- 11:11Speaker 2: John. Good on you your backbone.
- 11:14Speaker 6: That's a weally cause.
- 11:15Speaker 4: And obviously that's just Actually, if you did raise fourteen
- 11:18Speaker 4: grand for Saint John's, you might have made it all
- 11:20Speaker 4: up just so you could win two hundred bucks.
- 11:23Speaker 2: And why wouldn't you ye out your Karen, you're a
- 11:30Speaker 2: good basard, mate, so you hold on pugs and give
- 11:32Speaker 2: you some trash and Craig. If you listen to mate,
- 11:35Speaker 2: we'll give you a little toy prize pack or something too,
- 11:37Speaker 2: so no one goes I'm empty handed this Christmas feelers Yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 2: good stuff, mate, good stuff.
- 11:41Speaker 1: The whole achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 11:45Speaker 1: and Keezy.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Sound good in there on the radio. Hold akee Big
- 11:48Speaker 3: show this Tuesday afternoon.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Fellas. Yes, oh man, Christmas shopping am I right? Oh?
- 11:55Speaker 3: He was just saying he's already done all of his
- 11:56Speaker 3: and he's just been hounded by couriers at the moment
- 12:00Speaker 3: because he's ordered so many prizzies.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yeah right, it's a box is just full of like
- 12:04Speaker 2: we've your parcels been dispatched and I don't know who
- 12:08Speaker 2: it's from, where it's coming. But that's cooling about me
- 12:12Speaker 2: and my career. That's good chats. Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 4: I try and avoid, personally speaking, I try to avoid
- 12:17Speaker 4: going to the malls and all that sort of stuff
- 12:20Speaker 4: that they can be a little bit it can raise
- 12:21Speaker 4: the old blood pressure a bit. Keysy, you know what
- 12:23Speaker 4: I'm saying, brother.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Can I Yeah? Man? Mogy. Just can I just make
- 12:28Speaker 2: a point by the way, please do I just nearly
- 12:31Speaker 2: got my point out.
- 12:32Speaker 3: But before you get into that. For the first time
- 12:34Speaker 3: ever in my life, on the on the motorway this
- 12:36Speaker 3: last weekend, sure they had warnings on the motorway severe
- 12:40Speaker 3: shopping traffic, take care.
- 12:42Speaker 2: I've never heard of that.
- 12:43Speaker 3: And it was the black Fridays we talked about.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Sorry, sorry mag as you were, Thanks mate. So what
- 12:53Speaker 4: do I do for my shopping is rather than be
- 12:55Speaker 4: stuck in those traffic as he is there, Jase, I
- 12:59Speaker 4: go and trade me, cool, I go and trade me
- 13:01Speaker 4: and Jesus, I've found some bloody good stuff on there, man,
- 13:05Speaker 4: Like at the moment I've found they've got these somebody
- 13:10Speaker 4: is selling in these Luca Rio okay, leather two seater sofas.
- 13:15Speaker 2: They're bloody beautiful. They've got two of.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Them, this guy. But he's selling them separately all women.
- 13:19Speaker 4: I don't know, how do you know?
- 13:20Speaker 2: It's okay?
- 13:21Speaker 4: And yeah they're they're gorgeous. Bought two and a half
- 13:24Speaker 4: years ago for his office. But he's sort of getting more.
- 13:26Speaker 4: He's hiring more people or her and sort of need
- 13:29Speaker 4: some space to get some more desks.
- 13:30Speaker 2: In there. Couches.
- 13:33Speaker 4: These couches there, they're retailing for two thousand, one hundred
- 13:38Speaker 4: dollars brand new. You can buy now for twelve hundred bucks.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Wow, Is that's not a Christmas presents? Someone selling like
- 13:43Speaker 2: you could?
- 13:43Speaker 4: I mean imagine if you did, well, we need a
- 13:45Speaker 4: couch too. So there's two of those. You can either
- 13:48Speaker 4: buy one or get both of them to get the peer.
- 13:50Speaker 2: What So for example, this this Christmas deal you're talking about,
- 13:53Speaker 2: who would you and your family be getting this prison for?
- 13:55Speaker 2: I mean anybody? I mean who do you love the most?
- 13:58Speaker 2: You know?
- 13:58Speaker 4: I mean who do you really love them want to
- 14:00Speaker 4: make their lives better? That would be my question. Now
- 14:02Speaker 4: that's in Auckland, pick up in Graylen.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Now something else that he's got the sky or person
- 14:10Speaker 2: or somebody else completely it could be yes, is selling
- 14:15Speaker 2: a couple of standing a couple of standing desks? Oh wow?
- 14:21Speaker 4: Okay, and the thing with these ones and he's got
- 14:23Speaker 4: two of them or they've got these enhanced dual motors
- 14:30Speaker 4: in them so you could just push your butt and
- 14:32Speaker 4: it's got presepts on it and it can go up
- 14:34Speaker 4: and down, so it's good for your keys. You don't
- 14:36Speaker 4: want to be sitting down all day. Man, you want
- 14:38Speaker 4: to get up and about so you want to be
- 14:39Speaker 4: standing up. So two of these he brought these a
- 14:42Speaker 4: couple of years ago for his office or her, but
- 14:46Speaker 4: he's he's getting more more people in there hides and
- 14:49Speaker 4: more people, so they needs a space. So two of
- 14:51Speaker 4: those desks. This is unreal, isn't it? Pick up in Graylan,
- 14:56Speaker 4: don't you nice?

- 20:40Speaker 2: A to or two. I don't mean to derail the
- 20:45Speaker 2: whole combat, because whatevers. If I say something sill like that,
- 20:49Speaker 2: then we just go quiet. Well, No, it's sort of
- 20:51Speaker 2: because it's sort of got two meanings here, doesn't it?
- 20:54Speaker 2: Two E like the beer and then two how many beers? Yeah,
- 20:59Speaker 2: I was just thinking that through what you said, Kesy,
- 21:01Speaker 2: it was it was a thing. It wasn't a little
- 21:04Speaker 2: conversation stop or anything like that, Which is that we
- 21:06Speaker 2: sort of sat down in the stink of it and
- 21:07Speaker 2: just dwelled on it for a while. I didn't notice that.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Well now, I just feel like every time I say something,
- 21:16Speaker 2: you guys are just going to give a big old
- 21:18Speaker 2: man's nappy type situation afterwards and say nothing, what's coming
- 21:25Speaker 2: up to see Jason? What I tell you what?

- 21:38Speaker 2: very nice, is it? Jose I love it. It's good.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I could see Moggie thinking about it. Yeah, that's right.
- 21:44Speaker 4: I should have been a little bit faster there, but yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to that man the Big Show because
- 21:48Speaker 4: obviously there's a Hordeche one, there's a wider one at
- 21:50Speaker 4: the company here, but we do one specifically just for
- 21:52Speaker 4: the for the backbones that work here on the Hedeche
- 21:54Speaker 4: Big Show.
- 21:55Speaker 2: And if anyone's got any ideas what we should do,
- 21:57Speaker 2: text through on three four eight three. By the way,
- 21:59Speaker 2: you can ring yourself until we rise. Peck I thought
- 22:01Speaker 2: we each just present maybe a pitch, each pitch with
- 22:05Speaker 2: a p and will vote on which one's got Who's
- 22:08Speaker 2: got the best idea? A fellers, Sure, sure it's Pearl jam.
- 22:12Speaker 1: The hod Aki Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 22:16Speaker 1: and Keith oh Ye.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Stone Temple pilots here on the Radio Hodaki Big Show
- 22:20Speaker 3: this Tuesday afternoon. Now we've got to organize the Big
- 22:23Speaker 3: Show Christmas Party. Fellers, have we got any ideas, any thoughts?
- 22:25Speaker 2: Let's jam this? Can I go first? Sure? All right?
- 22:29Speaker 2: So it's been a long year, fellas, it's been a
- 22:32Speaker 2: great year.
- 22:32Speaker 4: It's been about three hundred and sixty odd days give
- 22:35Speaker 4: take well not quite yet.
- 22:37Speaker 2: To see him hasn't finished yet, but it's not It
- 22:40Speaker 2: will take quite a lot. Okay. So my idea we
- 22:43Speaker 2: make the most of the beautiful weather. That's about. Maybe
- 22:46Speaker 2: we select someone's who's got Have you got a deck, Mogi?
- 22:51Speaker 2: My place is off limits. He's got a huge deck. Yeah. Yeah,
- 22:54Speaker 2: you've got a couple of decks at your place. Jas
- 22:56Speaker 2: one of them's bagged.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yeah, one of my outside, my back deck is rooted.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Yeah. My other two decks are very small. You've got
- 23:03Speaker 2: three dicks.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I've got three decks, Yeah, I actually got four decks.
- 23:06Speaker 3: You've got you're running a quad dick quad decks. But
- 23:09Speaker 3: they're all small decks apart from my back.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Deck, which is resive, but it's rooty. Yeah, it's falling apart. Yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 2: what do you mean? What do you mean? Well saying
- 23:18Speaker 2: we could all gather at someone's house, Ah, yeah, Mogi's
- 23:21Speaker 2: is off limits any reason. Ah the birds man, because
- 23:25Speaker 2: there's birds in a tree that okay. Or we can
- 23:29Speaker 2: maybe meet in like a park somewhere a public area
- 23:31Speaker 2: or a bitch. Yeah, we'll take a picnic. Will each
- 23:33Speaker 2: bring some some beers and things like, maybe some ties, Well,
- 23:37Speaker 2: maybe order some pizza, take their little backyard cricket set,
- 23:41Speaker 2: get a bit of that going. Bring the partners, you know,
- 23:43Speaker 2: bring the partners, get something going. Maybe we could play
- 23:44Speaker 2: some partner game partner like, you know, some Christmas type stuff.
- 23:48Speaker 2: We could do Secret Santa. Maybe we sit a thirty
- 23:50Speaker 2: doll a limit. We do that, and then afterwards, once
- 23:53Speaker 2: it hits like sort of five in the afternoon or something,
- 23:55Speaker 2: we go to a nearby like a curry joint, because
- 23:57Speaker 2: we always like to go and have a curry together.
- 23:59Speaker 2: The start oho one in the afternoon. Well, you know,
- 24:04Speaker 2: it's been a long year we've worked together, so I
- 24:06Speaker 2: just thought we could.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Well that's funny you should say that I mentioned the
- 24:08Speaker 3: carry because of course I owe you guys to carry
- 24:10Speaker 3: and prospective just on that.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Jase, can I just get the cash for that? Hang on,
- 24:17Speaker 2: this is a different topic.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Well no, but I was singing for the Christmas to
- 24:22Speaker 3: you know what, I could combine the fact that I
- 24:23Speaker 3: owe you guys a meal and your partners. We could
- 24:25Speaker 3: make that our Christmas too. And I, with that in mind,
- 24:28Speaker 3: have made a booking in the Lynn Moore food court.
- 24:32Speaker 2: So you've made a booking and a food courts.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Can all just come along and just order whatever you
- 24:37Speaker 3: want and pays for it, and then we can do
- 24:40Speaker 3: you know, five dollar precincts of swaps.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I've been there. Is it like twenty bucks for a
- 24:45Speaker 2: combo or something? There? You a little drink and a
- 24:47Speaker 2: little nun drink. It's just a curry or whatever. Yeah, yeah, drinks.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Well, I'll bring a couple of big bottles at all
- 24:53Speaker 3: and p or something like that and some plastic cups
- 24:57Speaker 3: and sort.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Of how long will this go for where we sort
- 24:59Speaker 2: of kick or anything? Half an hour and then it's
- 25:04Speaker 2: not a Christmas party. We meant to re celebrating.
- 25:07Speaker 3: We can celebrate while we're sitting down eating whatever we've
- 25:09Speaker 3: got from.
- 25:09Speaker 2: The food court. Yes, yes, you went.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Well, I'm keen, but I was sort of thinking that
- 25:15Speaker 4: we could go to there's a bloody nice place just
- 25:18Speaker 4: around the corner, actually around here, fire cats.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah, isn't that like a strippers or something.
- 25:23Speaker 4: It's yeah, it's like a strippers, but I mean they've
- 25:26Speaker 4: got personalities too key, you know, it's not just them,
- 25:30Speaker 4: has only been about the fact that they're nude and dancing.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I'm not pigeonholing sick tunes. I'm not pigeonholing any like.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I'm just I'm just saying my wife's coming. Yeah, well,
- 25:39Speaker 2: all we have to include the partners. Will be my
- 25:42Speaker 2: first question. My wife would be into it. Jason's wife's
- 25:45Speaker 2: into it. They've got a sick little they've got a
- 25:48Speaker 2: sick little buffet. They've got the nice but what do
- 25:50Speaker 2: you call the something Marie the bay Maries. So you've
- 25:54Speaker 2: got your they've got sort of like troughs of sort
- 25:57Speaker 2: of carries there and uh a bit of bears mad
- 26:00Speaker 2: rice or chicken fried rice, all that sort of thing
- 26:02Speaker 2: that just sits off to the side. You can help
- 26:04Speaker 2: yourself anytime, anytime.
- 26:06Speaker 7: Is it like all you can eat at the strippers?
- 26:08Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I love me a trough right well over
- 26:13Speaker 7: there and you're seeing fill your bootsman, that's really good.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Three four eight three vote, give us some ideas and
- 26:20Speaker 2: you can win a Telly Price pack. He's a cure.
- 26:23Speaker 1: The Darky Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 26:27Speaker 1: hod Ike.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Us indeed mus here on the radio Hodankee Big Show.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Now we've just been jamming ideas for our Christmas party
- 26:32Speaker 3: fell us for the Big Show our keys. He wants
- 26:34Speaker 3: to do a sort of picnic type scenario. I want
- 26:37Speaker 3: to do a food hall type scenario, court food court
- 26:40Speaker 3: type scenario, and Maggie wants a strip joint which.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Also has a buffet. Well, it's more for the buffet. Yeah, absolutely.
- 26:46Speaker 4: In fact, the stripping part of it is almost as
- 26:50Speaker 4: a separate thing because the food there is out of this.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Will it's background sort of action. Oh absolutely, Yeah. Yeah,
- 26:57Speaker 2: you don't want partners to come.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Well, I just sort of feel like it's bonding opportunity
- 27:01Speaker 4: for us to sort of just talk about the stuff
- 27:03Speaker 4: that's going on over there. I mean, I guess it's
- 27:05Speaker 4: your cool, But you know, they haven't been they haven't
- 27:08Speaker 4: been at work with us all year. Where would they
- 27:10Speaker 4: be at the work do what I'm saying?
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean what have they done?
- 27:14Speaker 1: No?
- 27:14Speaker 2: I know, it's just couldn't we just do talk about
- 27:16Speaker 2: stuff over a picnic? Like my idea? Oh, we could.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Look, there is no right or wrong here, Kizy. I'm
- 27:22Speaker 4: just coming to the table with a couple of ideas
- 27:23Speaker 4: and options it's like it's like the Throbber. It's very
- 27:27Speaker 4: much like the Throbber.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Some people have suggested stuff on three four eight three.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Have you heard of the beer cycle? It's that thing
- 27:36Speaker 2: that you pedal on you like, eight people pedal on
- 27:38Speaker 2: it and it goes around the downtown area. You drink
- 27:40Speaker 2: beers and going a bit of a tour. Someone's sort
- 27:43Speaker 2: of a massive one of those sort of look a
- 27:45Speaker 2: look at us, we're on a bike sort of thing.
- 27:47Speaker 2: That's right. Someone here's good offered a discount undred percent
- 27:53Speaker 2: discount and we don't have to go on it. Yeah,
- 27:55Speaker 2: so is it one person cycling and eight people drinking beers? No,
- 27:59Speaker 2: it's eight people cycle and drinking Beersies. What about this?
- 28:03Speaker 2: You should go to the strip club and see if
- 28:05Speaker 2: you can spark a bit of life into Hoodie Jay's downstairs.
- 28:10Speaker 2: So that's a cool. That's a good idea as well.
- 28:13Speaker 2: For sure, I'm totally open to that. But it's not,
- 28:16Speaker 2: of course you are. You seem a bit too keen
- 28:19Speaker 2: for it. Oh you know, I like like Mogi, I'm
- 28:24Speaker 2: into the buffet more than you know, the perving. But
- 28:26Speaker 2: all I can say about that strip club man, good
- 28:29Speaker 2: eating the buffet ie to the front. Hey, guys, for
- 28:34Speaker 2: your Christmas, do you can do barbecue meat patties and
- 28:36Speaker 2: then compare the color to the real burnt ones that
- 28:39Speaker 2: you guys all have. Yeah, it's an option. Get maggeted
- 28:46Speaker 2: at Hoodie Jay's batch. Watch out for some unwonted guests though. Yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 2: I was going to suggest the batch, but then you know,
- 28:52Speaker 2: I've been burnt on. Boy, that hurt me bad. It
- 28:56Speaker 2: hurt me bad. But a golf in, some cold bruise
- 28:59Speaker 2: and a barbie back one of the Flower's house. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 29:03Speaker 2: yeah yeah, except for the.
- 29:05Speaker 5: Golf and we're going to let at your house because
- 29:07Speaker 5: of the birch, yeah, col bruiser, and my my deck's rooted,
- 29:11Speaker 5: so your deck is rooted.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Why don't we just why don't we just put it off?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Why don't we just rain check it this year and
- 29:19Speaker 2: we'll do something for Eastern next year next year. I
- 29:23Speaker 2: feel like that's something you'd say, and then we'll never
- 29:24Speaker 2: actually do it because we'll circle it and circle it.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Siri, can you circle Eastern next year for the Hodaki
- 29:34Speaker 3: Big Show and you.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Make sure it's a Hodaki Big Show. Christmas Dude, Big

- 29:53Speaker 3: occasion called the Black Clash, which Radio Hodarky and the
- 29:56Speaker 3: ACC are a big part of and you need to
- 29:58Speaker 3: listen up and be a part of it.
- 30:00Speaker 2: You're talking about the Hot Spring SPA T twenty Black
- 30:02Speaker 2: Clash and association with Wolfbrook. It rolls off the tees,
- 30:05Speaker 2: rolls off the tongue. If you would like to win

- 30:13Speaker 2: the first innings, plus have free flights, free accommodation and
- 30:16Speaker 2: a ride on the tram. Then he's hodak you dot
- 30:19Speaker 2: co dot z get yourself in the drawer. You will
- 30:21Speaker 2: also be sitting in the ACC Export Ultra party zone
- 30:24Speaker 2: as well. It's probably one of the best sporting events
- 30:26Speaker 2: in New Zealand.
- 30:27Speaker 4: Bloody exciting stuff, hey, fellows. Over the weekend I was
- 30:31Speaker 4: listening to the ACC coverage of the first cricket Test
- 30:33Speaker 4: between the Black black Caps in England. Yes, Hoidy Jay,
- 30:37Speaker 4: it was a Sunday there, so you were commentating. You
- 30:39Speaker 4: were commentating with some of New Zealand's best commentator is
- 30:42Speaker 4: going to say that thanks Jeremy Wells, Tony Lyle may
- 30:46Speaker 4: have been involved, Big Sandy, top.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Notch Manaiah he wasn't there. Ah cool and I want
- 30:53Speaker 2: to work with him. What's happened is ja.
- 30:55Speaker 4: So I've noticed over time that you've spoken about the
- 30:57Speaker 4: fact that you never ever do or have never been
- 31:00Speaker 4: involved in a commentator's curse. A commentator's curse is when
- 31:03Speaker 4: you praise a New Zealand cricketer and then they get
- 31:08Speaker 4: out in short shift right, and this is.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Similar. So I've had the worst one in the history
- 31:14Speaker 2: of the commentary this year. When I see it when
- 31:18Speaker 2: shee Harris Savina was kicking the two pointers to win
- 31:21Speaker 2: the game from right out in front and he had
- 31:23Speaker 2: missed so many, I said, as a bit of a
- 31:25Speaker 2: joke and not even Harris Savina can miss it from here.
- 31:28Speaker 2: He missed it, we lost, and the most hate male
- 31:31Speaker 2: it as.
- 31:31Speaker 4: Soon as you said it, and I was like, oh yeah,
- 31:35Speaker 4: I don't know about that. But anyway, while we're listening
- 31:38Speaker 4: to that coverage, I heard, Jason, I heard you make
- 31:42Speaker 4: this comment.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Cast comes in now bowling to Smith on twenty one,
- 31:45Speaker 3: defends and chest like soliders are off.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Okay, he's good, isn't he Smith? Smith? Yeah? I like
- 31:52Speaker 2: the cut of his jet maker. Yeah, very good.
- 31:54Speaker 3: I think he's going to offer us a lot in
- 31:55Speaker 3: the years to come.
- 31:56Speaker 4: So the comment that you made there was that Smith
- 31:58Speaker 4: is looking as solid is a rock. Yes, Now this
- 32:01Speaker 4: was the commentary for the very next delivery.
- 32:04Speaker 6: Cast comes in again, the steps back and he's giving
- 32:08Speaker 6: him that was unplayable and so many respects keep low
- 32:13Speaker 6: as well, absolutely unplayable delivery.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Does that qualify do you think? I'm just asking the question.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Does that qualify as a commentator's curse as.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Someone who's done them? I think absolutely it is absolutely?
- 32:29Speaker 2: Can I be honest? What it was deliberate?
- 32:33Speaker 5: Was it?
- 32:34Speaker 2: It was deliberate because I it is a terrible thing to.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Admit to and say, yeah, I was over it and
- 32:42Speaker 3: you wants I wanted to get done intousset so I
- 32:45Speaker 3: could go home and do the lot.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Does a little part of you believe that commentary curses work. Absolutely,
- 32:50Speaker 2: there is really, yes, because I don't think they have
- 32:53Speaker 2: anything to do with anything. I think it's just a
- 32:55Speaker 2: flocking funny And I'll be honest with you.
- 32:56Speaker 3: I dropped a few bombs along the way. Actually that
- 32:59Speaker 3: was the only one that got picked up by the
- 33:01Speaker 3: English right and it was plumb too.
- 33:04Speaker 2: So yeah, there you go. Intentional commentary curse, I'll own it.
- 33:08Speaker 2: So you intentionally will in New Zealand to lose fastest, Well,
- 33:11Speaker 2: I could go home.
- 33:12Speaker 4: I think it was that it was a foregone conclusion,
- 33:15Speaker 4: was that point. Yes, Lane and Mike Lane had a
- 33:18Speaker 4: bit of a shocker as well, Whereas halfway through saying
- 33:21Speaker 4: that the partnership between the two batsmen, the person that
- 33:24Speaker 4: was newest to the crease was the biggest in the
- 33:27Speaker 4: history of New Zealand and as he was getting those
- 33:29Speaker 4: words out, a first ball duck to bludle. Yes, yeah,
- 33:33Speaker 4: so that was There was a few rippers across that game.
- 33:37Speaker 4: When's the next commentary start, Jason Friday?
- 33:39Speaker 2: But yes, and no curses from Hordy j bloody exciting
- 33:43Speaker 2: man down down at the Basin Reserve, one of the
- 33:46Speaker 2: great test venues, not just in New Zealand but the
- 33:48Speaker 2: world sold out. Oh that's sublime.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Big Show podcast.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Yeah, welcome back your massive Backbones. Now coming up after
- 33:56Speaker 3: six o'clock as usual, What's on the tv with Mike
- 33:59Speaker 3: Minoga and also a bit of a development and some
- 34:03Speaker 3: a bit of an update I guess on Mogi's bird
- 34:05Speaker 3: situation at his house.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right.
- 34:07Speaker 4: We've got a we have had a situation with the
- 34:10Speaker 4: avian of the avian variety around our joint, and so
- 34:14Speaker 4: just coming up with some solutions.
- 34:15Speaker 5: Yeah, because they wake you up early in the morning.
- 34:17Speaker 5: I work very early in the morning. I actually have
- 34:20Speaker 5: never seen them. I need to get out there and
- 34:22Speaker 5: have a geeze at them.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I think sure, because I mean, like, can you tell
- 34:25Speaker 2: any toy there's a mine? No, No, I like it.
- 34:27Speaker 4: I like a toy, although that starts to annoy you.
- 34:29Speaker 4: But one of them is definitely a minor yea minus
- 34:31Speaker 4: a filthy bars.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Dirty dirty yeah. Yeah, yeah, I saw one of them.
- 34:38Speaker 4: He was up in that tree and he's made his
- 34:40Speaker 4: nest out of a filthy baby baby's diaper. Yeah, that's
- 34:44Speaker 4: the kind of thing they do, kids of their animals.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Filthy bastards.
- 34:50Speaker 1: The whole iching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy
- 34:53Speaker 1: Tune in week days and four on Radio hod Ike.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Welcome back your massive backbones. Hope your Tuesday's going along
- 34:59Speaker 3: very nice. You're listening to the big show brought to
- 35:02Speaker 3: you by Towey.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeah right, get it in, get it in there. As
- 35:07Speaker 2: the self proclaimed to Reverend Voice of the Nation too,
- 35:09Speaker 2: he reckons the world's gotten a little too serious, and
- 35:12Speaker 2: I agree. I'd agree with it same. Everyone is just
- 35:14Speaker 2: just needs to chill and have a bit of a laugh.
- 35:16Speaker 2: You know that's also true. Yeah, you can do that
- 35:19Speaker 2: by seeing the old te billboards. They failers. That's true
- 35:22Speaker 2: as well. Thanks man, that's good stuff.
- 35:24Speaker 4: I think if actually, if we had more to e
- 35:25Speaker 4: billboards than they're just absolutely everywhere everyone they have a
- 35:28Speaker 4: huge girl on their face.
- 35:29Speaker 2: You know what I'd like to see? You know how
- 35:30Speaker 2: you have like wind mills all over like a paddock
- 35:34Speaker 2: or something. Sure, what are you talking?
- 35:37Speaker 3: You know, when you're flying into Wellington for example, those
- 35:40Speaker 3: wind mills, sorry turbines.
- 35:43Speaker 2: They should do that with twy billboards. They should generate power,
- 35:47Speaker 2: but or generate happiness. You go the power of laughter.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Hey, you know the podcast outro today, which is warm
- 35:55Speaker 3: up to the radio show how we covered a lot
- 35:58Speaker 3: of very serious issues day.
- 36:00Speaker 2: But I don't know what the specific clip is.
- 36:02Speaker 6: What is it?
- 36:03Speaker 2: Gasy? This one is about dementia chat that's right about that.
- 36:09Speaker 2: So let's just say, Jason, god forbid, you had it right. Yes,
- 36:13Speaker 2: we can sit up a little studio with the microphone
- 36:15Speaker 2: and you just do radio and we potty it up,
- 36:18Speaker 2: you know, and you distribute it. You put a paywak.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Actually it'll be the biggest thing you ever did. You
- 36:24Speaker 2: have no idea how would that be? Exactly exactly it is?
- 36:31Speaker 2: And you can have guests and stuff on. Oh yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 2: the guests aren't. They will just tell you that this
- 36:35Speaker 2: person did something.
- 36:35Speaker 3: I'm just trying to think of the title of it.
- 36:37Speaker 3: Maybe it could be called pardon.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Ah yeah yeah, sorry, yeah, very If you want to
- 36:47Speaker 2: listen to there by the way puts it out every
- 36:50Speaker 2: night seven thirty along the highlights package of our show,
- 36:53Speaker 2: just search Radio Hoduck you ever get your potties from?
- 36:56Speaker 2: But right here, right now, it's fat time.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I love the Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from
- 37:05Speaker 1: four on Radio Hodarchy Navana.
- 37:07Speaker 3: They're on the Radio hold Archy Big Show this Tuesday evening.
- 37:11Speaker 3: This glorious Tuesday evening in Sydney.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Isn't it glorious? It's lovely like people are going to
- 37:17Speaker 2: be confused the last pretending we're in Sydney.
- 37:19Speaker 4: Oh look, you can't. The thing about letter is keezy.
- 37:21Speaker 4: You can't imagine that people out there are stupid, all right,
- 37:23Speaker 4: and there's nothing you can do to control that they are.
- 37:25Speaker 2: They're going to believe it, and if they're not, they won't.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Exactly what are you going to do?
- 37:28Speaker 4: Yeah, fellers, the birds, the birds outside my house. And
- 37:35Speaker 4: as you all know, and the listeners will know, this
- 37:38Speaker 4: has been going on for as long as we've moved
- 37:40Speaker 4: into this new house as well. We've got a tree
- 37:42Speaker 4: immediately outside out We've got a bunch of trees immediately
- 37:44Speaker 4: outside our bedroom window, but one in particular seems to
- 37:47Speaker 4: be home to the noisiest birds known to man. And
- 37:52Speaker 4: they get up at different times. They sort of one
- 37:54Speaker 4: will get up, so the first one gets up at
- 37:55Speaker 4: about four and he starts going. Then at four thirty
- 37:59Speaker 4: some else takes over, and then at five and at
- 38:01Speaker 4: five thirty, and then at six o'clock they stop. They
- 38:04Speaker 4: go out and get some food. But as soon as
- 38:06Speaker 4: they start that's me I'm awake. So I'm awake from
- 38:08Speaker 4: four or four thirty every single day.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 38:11Speaker 4: And what's even worse than that than me losing a
- 38:15Speaker 4: couple of hours sleep at night, is that my wife
- 38:17Speaker 4: sleeps through it. Of course she doesn't hear anything at all.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Yes. Are you traditionally a light sleeper? Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:23Speaker 2: yeah I am. But these birds are out the gate.
- 38:25Speaker 4: It's absolutely ridiculous, except my wife doesn't think, so she
- 38:30Speaker 4: just sleeps to it. She probably likes the although she
- 38:33Speaker 4: did get waken up the other day. She wasn't laughing then,
- 38:35Speaker 4: was she.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 38:36Speaker 4: So you know, I'm trying to get one of those
- 38:38Speaker 4: chickens that's got the bird floor, you know, and rub
- 38:41Speaker 4: it up and down, the rub it all over the tree.
- 38:43Speaker 4: But I'm finding it very hard to get my hands
- 38:45Speaker 4: on one. So in the meantime, what I've had to
- 38:48Speaker 4: do is I've actually moved out of our bedroom and
- 38:51Speaker 4: I've moved into the spear bedroom. Just me, Wow, I've
- 38:54Speaker 4: moved in there and it's good.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Man.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I was going to say, are you're loving it? I
- 38:58Speaker 2: am loving it. I am sleeping so well. I am
- 39:03Speaker 2: slept like the first night I slept till three point thirty,
- 39:07Speaker 2: so that was probably five and a half six hours
- 39:09Speaker 2: of sleep I'd had then, which is normally what I
- 39:11Speaker 2: get in the night, and then had a little drink
- 39:13Speaker 2: of water, and then back to sleep till a quarter
- 39:16Speaker 2: to seven. Now I haven't slept that much of my life.
- 39:18Speaker 2: A really noisy drink of water as well. I was sleept.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I didn't worry about banging the bottle back down on
- 39:23Speaker 2: the table. I was loving it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:26Speaker 4: And then the other thing that's happened, which is quite good,
- 39:29Speaker 4: is now we're like flat mats. Sure, and so we
- 39:34Speaker 4: might be cruising up and down the old the old
- 39:36Speaker 4: corridor there, and my flat might say to me, give
- 39:40Speaker 4: me the old head nod. Yeah, the old head nod there,
- 39:42Speaker 4: you know what I mean. Yeah, So it's actually brought
- 39:44Speaker 4: a new dimension into the relationship.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I'm all for it. Nice, I'm loving it. The problem
- 39:48Speaker 2: with the flat situation, though, is you don't you know
- 39:50Speaker 2: that there's a saying you don't something the crew, Yeah yeah,
- 39:54Speaker 2: your pen and the company.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:57Speaker 5: Well but I think we've sort of got it covered that,
- 40:01Speaker 5: you know. Yeah, yeah, okay, we're married, Oh you're true.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Ultimately, and would they out of curiosity happened in the
- 40:09Speaker 3: spare room or the man.
- 40:10Speaker 2: I think we need to go into jas are. You're
- 40:14Speaker 2: missing the point here, but yeah, it's it's it's been.
- 40:17Speaker 2: It's been good. It's been good for the relationship, I think. Whenever,
- 40:20Speaker 2: especially for my sleep, Yeah, which is important. You knowed
- 40:22Speaker 2: you sleep, Jason apparently. So yeah, whenever one of us
- 40:26Speaker 2: in our household, me and my flatty, my wife, whenever
- 40:29Speaker 2: one of us gets sort of covidy symptoms. Yeah, and
- 40:32Speaker 2: so the other one will have a big weekends and say,
- 40:33Speaker 2: just to be safe, you sleep in the spear room.
- 40:35Speaker 2: One of us will. Right. We always have a really
- 40:37Speaker 2: great sleep. And it's always like, why don't we just
- 40:40Speaker 2: have our separate rooms? But something about that. Ultimately the
- 40:43Speaker 2: next night nap can't do it back into the as
- 40:46Speaker 2: you always have a good sleep.
- 40:48Speaker 3: My wife and I we've got the two single beads now, yes, right,
- 40:52Speaker 3: what's the thing you know with the doily in between?
- 40:55Speaker 2: You get a little crochet blanket and a crochet.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Blank it's been revolutionary. Yes, just boom, she's not tossing
- 41:02Speaker 3: and turning.
- 41:03Speaker 2: You're tossing. I'm tossing frantically. But it doesn't affect her
- 41:08Speaker 2: and then you know, we sleep like babies. Yeah, now
- 41:11Speaker 2: they're going to go. That's great, Magie. Thanks mag Big
- 41:15Speaker 2: Show Podcast, Foster.
- 41:17Speaker 3: The people there on the radio Hdarchy Big Show this
- 41:19Speaker 3: Tuesday afternoon.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Let's talk TV. What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 41:29Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll started watching Day of the Jackal
- 41:47Speaker 5: on the New One with Red Maine Eddie Redmain, Yeah,
- 41:50Speaker 5: on TV and Z Plus.
- 41:54Speaker 4: It's an age old story, isn't it. That one I
- 41:56Speaker 4: can't remember it came from. But the Jackal was a
- 41:57Speaker 4: real person who was a real assassin, and somebody wrote
- 42:00Speaker 4: a really a novel about it.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I did not know that, and.
- 42:04Speaker 4: It's been redone. Bruce Willis was in one version pre dementia,
- 42:09Speaker 4: and it's great locations. It's it's fine.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Because is the Jackal? Do you know what I mean?
- 42:17Speaker 2: It's neither here nor there, but you keep watching it
- 42:19Speaker 2: because it's got great locations.
- 42:21Speaker 4: I like Eddie Redmain. He's a good actor and he's
- 42:25Speaker 4: an interesting dude just to look at. But then there's
- 42:29Speaker 4: all this sort of other stuff which I'm not the
- 42:31Speaker 4: person that's chasing him. I'm not entirely into her storyline.
- 42:35Speaker 2: So that the storyline is based on something that actually did.
- 42:38Speaker 5: No.
- 42:39Speaker 4: No, this is they use it the Jackal name, which
- 42:42Speaker 4: is from a book which I think was William Forsyth,
- 42:45Speaker 4: maybe Bruce Forsyth.
- 42:46Speaker 2: No, yeah, and then they're just stealing that name. And
- 42:50Speaker 2: so it's pretty decent action. It's fine, fine, now, just
- 42:55Speaker 2: on there. Last night I went on to Prime Idiot
- 42:59Speaker 2: and found man, ah, you did Billy Billy Bob. And
- 43:03Speaker 2: actually initially it was quite hard to find. For some reason.
- 43:06Speaker 2: I found and then you know, Bob's your uncle. There
- 43:09Speaker 2: it is and Billy Bob, and so I went, oh, great,
- 43:12Speaker 2: But then drama.
- 43:14Speaker 3: Last night, My wife was out to dinner with her
- 43:17Speaker 3: book club friends, and so I went on, Actually, I'll
- 43:22Speaker 3: wait for her to come home.
- 43:23Speaker 2: That's really sweet.
- 43:25Speaker 3: I won't start the series until she comes sweet. She
- 43:29Speaker 3: likes Billy Bob as well, and usually her you know,
- 43:32Speaker 3: book club stuff, she gets through pretty damn quick.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Didn't get home to court to ten. Well, hope you're furious.
- 43:38Speaker 2: I was furious and went straight to bed.
- 43:40Speaker 4: I imagine that she came home. The house was in darkness.
- 43:44Speaker 4: She sort of tiptoed and to get a drink of
- 43:46Speaker 4: water from the sink and as she's sipping it, you
- 43:48Speaker 4: turn the lamp on. You're sitting in the arm chair
- 43:50Speaker 4: in the corner by the Christmas tree that you've got there.
- 43:53Speaker 4: You say, what time do you call this? She drops
- 43:54Speaker 4: the glass smash. Oh, I didn't see you there?
- 43:57Speaker 2: Is that? How it happened? Were you them? Your dad?
- 44:01Speaker 3: Is?
- 44:01Speaker 7: That?
- 44:02Speaker 2: Is bang on? You're definitely a guy that would have
- 44:04Speaker 2: one of those lamps that has a pool string on it.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Definitely all your lighting in your house is just those.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Can I just clarify though?
- 44:12Speaker 3: I pulled the lamp light on and I went, hello, Darley, Oh,
- 44:16Speaker 3: fist that's nice, And then I said.
- 44:21Speaker 2: It's nice, that's really good. Frederic Forsyth wrote the Day
- 44:23Speaker 2: of the Jacket or Bruce. I watched another episode of
- 44:30Speaker 2: that Gino do the Chef in Italy and Pulia, yeah,
- 44:33Speaker 2: really nice man. He cooked a dish which was basically mussels, cheese, rice, shrimp,
- 44:42Speaker 2: rice again, tomato and potatoes like a lasagna, and you
- 44:45Speaker 2: put it in a big oven for an hour and
- 44:46Speaker 2: then afterwards you eat it with your family and everyone
- 44:49Speaker 2: loved it. According to the TV show, I just don't
- 44:51Speaker 2: like the cheese element. He said the same thing for me.
- 44:55Speaker 2: It was the muscles, right, there was actually a Spanish dish. Well,
- 44:58Speaker 2: your muscles can offter be very half. Yeah, you're overcooked. Yeah,
- 45:02Speaker 2: but these were cooked beautifully and you're going to take
- 45:04Speaker 2: the tongue out as well. You know, it's confusing. There's
- 45:06Speaker 2: two gallipolis, is there? One in Turkey obviously, and then
- 45:09Speaker 2: there's a Gallipoli in the south of Italy right on
- 45:11Speaker 2: the boot there on the boot heel, there's.
- 45:12Speaker 4: A cambridge in New Zealand. And did you know there's
- 45:14Speaker 4: a cambridge in England as well?
- 45:16Speaker 2: You were joking? Are you serious?
- 45:19Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hadark Green.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Day there on the Radio Hodarky Big Show this Tuesday evening. Now,
- 45:28Speaker 3: we were talking yesterday about surf and turf where we fellers. Yeah,
- 45:32Speaker 3: whether you were into your surfing or you're into your golf, yes,
- 45:36Speaker 3: and whether you wanted to win like a surfboard and
- 45:39Speaker 3: awesome golf clubs.
- 45:41Speaker 2: And I tell you what up awesome golf clubs. Yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 2: no either or yeah either and or golf club See
- 45:51Speaker 2: I'm I'm of the mind where I just see which
- 45:53Speaker 2: one was most expensive and then just win that one.
- 45:55Speaker 2: And then sell it.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I've got some questions about it. But off here,
- 45:58Speaker 4: I do notice that there is a surfboard out in
- 46:01Speaker 4: the outer office. Here is related.
- 46:03Speaker 2: That is related, but that's for us to film a
- 46:04Speaker 2: little video with. It's not the one we're giving away
- 46:06Speaker 2: because it's used.
- 46:07Speaker 3: And I'll be honest with your fellows, I have no
- 46:10Speaker 3: idea what a surfboard costs. If you said how much
- 46:13Speaker 3: were you would you pay for a surfboard?
- 46:14Speaker 2: How much would you pay for a surfboard?
- 46:16Speaker 3: Didn't have a clue, have a guess man, one hundred
- 46:18Speaker 3: bucks yeah, and golf clubs eight fifty.
- 46:25Speaker 2: I'd say both of those things are into the thousands.
- 46:27Speaker 2: So it's a hell of a prize. We are giving
- 46:28Speaker 2: it away thanks to mates. It's super liquor covering all
- 46:31Speaker 2: the bases this summer, which is bloody exciting. If you'd
- 46:34Speaker 2: like to win the surfboard, text the word surf to
- 46:36Speaker 2: three four eight three. If you'd like to go on
- 46:38Speaker 2: the drawer to win the clubs, tix the word turf
- 46:40Speaker 2: to three four eight three. If you'd like to win
- 46:44Speaker 2: a massive voucher to an adult entertainment store, yes, text
- 46:47Speaker 2: girth g u R if girth. What's to three four eight? No,
- 46:53Speaker 2: I just made that one up falling g I r th. Yeah, No,
- 46:58Speaker 2: I know girth, but I thought i'd try and spell
- 47:00Speaker 2: it like the other two.
- 47:01Speaker 4: All right, yeah, yeah, about a thousand bucks for a surfboard, okay,
- 47:06Speaker 4: is it just like one of them?
- 47:07Speaker 2: Okay, just like a bog standing.
- 47:08Speaker 3: And I paid eight fifty for my clubs, that's what
- 47:11Speaker 3: I based my but they were cheap, a cheap.
- 47:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:16Speaker 2: This is all things to super lick it up. Cheers,
- 47:18Speaker 2: super cheers to that, and cheers the summer. This will
- 47:22Speaker 2: be running over the summer periods and plenty of opportunities
- 47:24Speaker 2: to get yourself on the drawer. Just take surf to
- 47:25Speaker 2: three four eight three or turf and you could be
- 47:28Speaker 2: a winner.
- 47:29Speaker 1: For whodarchy big show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 47:41Speaker 3: Well, there you go, your mad bards. That's a big
- 47:43Speaker 3: show done and us for your Tuesday night.
- 47:45Speaker 2: What are your plans tonight? I won't be doing a
- 47:47Speaker 2: hell of a lot, man. We probably just tidy up
- 47:50Speaker 2: the house a little bit. I don't know, I don't know.
- 47:53Speaker 4: I want to do more with my evenings. That sort
- 47:55Speaker 4: of the only thing I can think of to do
- 47:57Speaker 4: would be to have a few beers.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 48:02Speaker 4: What are your Seinfeld and go a bit early. Well,
- 48:05Speaker 4: I always go to be an early keys and you
- 48:07Speaker 4: got me there, brother, And yeah, I don't know. The
- 48:11Speaker 4: missus has gone out for a bit, so I guess
- 48:13Speaker 4: that means I'll watch something I don't know.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Just kidding. I really am just killing time until the
- 48:17Speaker 2: end of the week. I really am all year. I'm
- 48:20Speaker 2: killing just to get to the holidays. What about like
- 48:23Speaker 2: go out for ice cream with who I don't know? You?
- 48:27Speaker 4: Well, if I go out, then my daughter will be
- 48:29Speaker 4: home by yourself, So that's no good.
- 48:31Speaker 2: That's no good. I can't take her out because you'll
- 48:33Speaker 2: be asleep. Yeah, okay, I feel.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Quite sad about the idea of Maggie going out and
- 48:38Speaker 3: buying an ice cream buy.
- 48:39Speaker 2: By old single scoop. Moggie, just one scoop for me, thanks,
- 48:43Speaker 2: one hundreds and thousands, better not chocolate dip. Tonight, I'm
- 48:51Speaker 2: going to film the Christmas special of Game and two Halves.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Hoody Jay's coming and he has made me feel terrible
- 48:56Speaker 2: all week about the fact that I asked him to
- 48:57Speaker 2: be on it.
- 48:58Speaker 4: Well, The great thing about it is you're probably going
- 49:00Speaker 4: to learn to regret it because you've been really driving
- 49:02Speaker 4: hard to try and get hodj on the show.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Has Matt the producer, really wanted hod Jail on the show.
- 49:06Speaker 4: Yeah, sure, but you've been campaigning hard, said look, I'm
- 49:11Speaker 4: not interested, and you kept on pounding him until until
- 49:13Speaker 4: you got a year. You really did pound them until
- 49:17Speaker 4: you had no choice, and in fact you ambushed him.
- 49:19Speaker 4: Was the producer of the show, so you had to
- 49:20Speaker 4: say yes. So I am so interested to see how
- 49:23Speaker 4: it goes and to see if you regret.
- 49:28Speaker 2: I think does as well. Yeah, well we're off to
- 49:32Speaker 2: Mount Wellington. The sky out there, it's lovely. I'm sorry,
- 49:36Speaker 2: but Mount Wellington's better than ol West. I used to
- 49:40Speaker 2: live out that way them valley pinrose Pinrose Road.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's what I'm going to be. Apparently I'm
- 49:47Speaker 3: filming something. It's a TV show, yeah, which is going
- 49:51Speaker 3: to be out in a week or so. Right by
