- 0:08Speaker 1: Scarable advice shot. Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It's Thursday, and I'm your host, Rob Shooster and on Thursday,
- 0:21Speaker 1: and dear friend Mark Lupo joins us. Hey Lupi are there,
- 0:25Speaker 1: Lippy lewis here? Hi Rob, Hi LUPPI. I got a
- 0:28Speaker 1: warning email text about you last night. Somebody Mr Spotty?
- 0:33Speaker 1: You out drinking? She texted me. She said, did Mark
- 0:37Speaker 1: pre tape the show because he's having a very good time.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I mean, you know I love free wine. Right. We
- 0:44Speaker 1: were at at a hotel party, a very fancy party.
- 0:47Speaker 1: She looked beautiful and the wine was flowing. We had
- 0:50Speaker 1: a good time. We did, and she came over to
- 0:52Speaker 1: and said, I'm going to tell Shooter. I felt like
- 0:54Speaker 1: the school mistress. I know. I was all nervous when
- 0:57Speaker 1: she was. She definitely let me know, and I was like,
- 0:59Speaker 1: I'm trouble. But you know what, they're as sloppy as
- 1:03Speaker 1: we could get a Mark. We can get sloppy. We
- 1:05Speaker 1: do do the work. It is a lesson out there
- 1:07Speaker 1: everybody when you see us out being ridiculous. I don't
- 1:11Speaker 1: think you can do that and get away of not
- 1:13Speaker 1: doing the work. It's not true. Even celebrities. When you
- 1:15Speaker 1: see celebrities out and you're like, oh, I'm gonna go
- 1:18Speaker 1: out and party, like did he did? He does the work?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Does the work. It's almost a terrible sort of lesson
- 1:26Speaker 1: to teach people because the truth of it is, celebrities
- 1:29Speaker 1: don't really want you to know how hard they work.
- 1:32Speaker 1: They really want the successful ones work really hard and
- 1:35Speaker 1: they're very focused. They're the same. But that's right. Beyonce
- 1:41Speaker 1: has the same twenty four hours that we do. I know,
- 1:44Speaker 1: I feel like she has extra hours because she gets
- 1:46Speaker 1: so much done. I know. This is a conversation with
- 1:49Speaker 1: my friends yesterday, but they were like, well, she has
- 1:51Speaker 1: twenty four assistance. But that's a good point. She does.
- 1:55Speaker 1: There's like twelve Beyonce is running around Miny Beyonce's who
- 1:58Speaker 1: she's trained. Like, yeah, a good point, Hey, les jump
- 2:00Speaker 1: into the show. What time is it, my friends? It
- 2:02Speaker 1: is tea time. We're going to do the work today.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So bad burs. Megan Markle's new podcast is getting slammed
- 2:09Speaker 1: by critics who are saying it's entirely preposterous and just
- 2:14Speaker 1: another way that she can talk about herself. So I
- 2:17Speaker 1: listened to it her first guest was Serena Williams the Telegraph.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Celia Walden at the Telegraph. Kind of a fancy writer,
- 2:25Speaker 1: said an interviewer with this inspirational sporting figure in name only,
- 2:31Speaker 1: because basically Megan interviewed herself. She did do a lot
- 2:34Speaker 1: of talking about the podcast, and I'm guilty of that too, Mark.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Let me give you some of the other comments too.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So the Spectators columnists said, it's hard to believe it
- 2:42Speaker 1: took twenty eight people and eight executive producers to make
- 2:48Speaker 1: one episode, plus megend eight executive producer. I mean that's
- 2:53Speaker 1: a that's a lot of staff. The Times said it
- 2:56Speaker 1: was a tastefully soundtracked raid of the nyalties, absurdities and
- 3:03Speaker 1: self grandizing. She got one star from another outlet. I
- 3:09Speaker 1: listened to it. Mark. You know the thing is, we
- 3:12Speaker 1: want Megan to gossip. We want her to tell us
- 3:15Speaker 1: about the palace. You can't be as famous as Megan
- 3:18Speaker 1: is for being married to really the most famous family
- 3:21Speaker 1: in the world, sorry Kardashians, and not talk about that.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So I just sat there listening and Serena's charming, Megan's charming.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I just wanted to say what Kate was really like
- 3:32Speaker 1: or Matt william was not nice to me. I just
- 3:34Speaker 1: wanted one one little piece of information. She wouldn't do it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: She didn't do it. She wouldn't do it. And part
- 3:40Speaker 1: of me wonders that people on Spotify they probably feel
- 3:42Speaker 1: the same way. You know this, this deal was inked
- 3:46Speaker 1: and it's reportedly worth more than fifteen million dollars. I'm
- 3:49Speaker 1: just not sure that the executives feel like they're getting
- 3:52Speaker 1: what they're paid for. Where when she was talking about
- 3:54Speaker 1: herself and her you know, and it's just it's robbing,
- 3:57Speaker 1: you know. It's like, I love Megan, I love her,
- 4:00Speaker 1: but it kind of felt a little out of touch.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And these women are worth many, many, many millions of
- 4:04Speaker 1: dollars and they're talking about things that just don't feel
- 4:06Speaker 1: relatable to them at this particular moment in time. Hey,
- 4:09Speaker 1: you're so smart. So as a producing yourself, Mark, if
- 4:12Speaker 1: you were producing the show and the episodes aired, and
- 4:15Speaker 1: now you can sit down with Megan and give notes.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Often after a television show or a show, the executive producers,
- 4:20Speaker 1: the boss sits down with the team and gives notes.
- 4:23Speaker 1: What would you say to Megan? I would say, Megan,
- 4:26Speaker 1: it this is going to be an interview, then have
- 4:28Speaker 1: it be an interview. This was. This was every opportunity
- 4:31Speaker 1: she could. She talked about herself, and it just she
- 4:33Speaker 1: monopolized the conversation, which is fine. I like her, but
- 4:36Speaker 1: then don't build it as an interview and I would
- 4:39Speaker 1: tone it down. I would tone it down. People can't
- 4:41Speaker 1: relate to this kind of conversation. They really, they can't
- 4:43Speaker 1: relate to it. When people really rich people tell you
- 4:46Speaker 1: to know your worth, they don't know what it's like
- 4:49Speaker 1: to go in and ask for like a raise. They
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't know because you will be fired. If I walked
- 4:54Speaker 1: into my office and as for my worth, they laugh
- 4:56Speaker 1: in my face, and so it's really can't bliga. It
- 5:00Speaker 1: was not an interview either. It was and it shouldn't
- 5:03Speaker 1: have been. I think I would have said, maybe she's
- 5:05Speaker 1: not taken advice. That sometimes happens mark when huge celebrities
- 5:08Speaker 1: get their own TV show a podcast, they don't listen. Hey,
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'm thinking of the Kadi current show. People like that.
- 5:14Speaker 1: When they start a show, they're so famous, they're not
- 5:17Speaker 1: going to listen to anybody, and that's probably why the
- 5:19Speaker 1: show doesn't work. Well, it's funny, so they have twenty producer.
- 5:23Speaker 1: When it's rather show, it's a small it's a small staff. Okay,
- 5:27Speaker 1: we meet the show on the area. It's you and me,
- 5:30Speaker 1: it's Darby, my dog exactly. So we meet this goal
- 5:33Speaker 1: on every day. This show is on there every single day.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Small staff. It's just you know, the little engine that could.
- 5:38Speaker 1: And I just maybe there's too many you know, cooks
- 5:40Speaker 1: in the kitchen for the show. Rosie Donald said that
- 5:42Speaker 1: when Rosie went on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen
- 5:46Speaker 1: has a very small show, not just physically the producer
- 5:50Speaker 1: wise too. It's a small, tight team, but they run
- 5:53Speaker 1: it beautifully. It's a great show. Rosie was a guest
- 5:56Speaker 1: on his show, and she said, if ever I go
- 5:57Speaker 1: back to TV, that's what I want. I don't want
- 5:59Speaker 1: one of these big Today type shows or the View
- 6:02Speaker 1: with hundreds of people walking around working there. I think, Megan,
- 6:06Speaker 1: you should sit down. And honestly, I know it's crazy
- 6:09Speaker 1: that we're given advice to Megan Mark or good we
- 6:13Speaker 1: have a top ten podcast, Mega Mark. I think we
- 6:15Speaker 1: did better than she did to day Mark. I know
- 6:18Speaker 1: it's shameful. I'm almost embarrassed on our own success here,
- 6:21Speaker 1: but I think the advice is what do you want
- 6:23Speaker 1: it to be? We all sat down, the five of us,
- 6:26Speaker 1: sat down, the five co hosts and myself. We all
- 6:28Speaker 1: went for a drink and we were like, let's make
- 6:30Speaker 1: it funny and silly. No politics. We said, no politics.
- 6:33Speaker 1: It's a funny, silly twenty minute of celebrity gossip. And
- 6:37Speaker 1: we do this for a living, so we're good at it.
- 6:39Speaker 1: We're going to make fun of celebrities in a naughty
- 6:41Speaker 1: but nice way. We're always a pinch, We're never a punch.
- 6:44Speaker 1: We knew who we were. I don't think Megan's figured
- 6:47Speaker 1: out quite what this podcast is. She's still talking about
- 6:50Speaker 1: it though. She said people are going to find and
- 6:52Speaker 1: discover the real, unfiltered me on this podcast. I don't
- 6:57Speaker 1: know if that's true. It feels very very produced. It does,
- 7:02Speaker 1: and I can tell you if you listen to this podcast.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You know. I've said before that I met Megan and
- 7:06Speaker 1: spent time with her before she really became famous for
- 7:09Speaker 1: being a royal. And she is a nice girl. She's
- 7:11Speaker 1: really really set, she's interesting, she has a lot of
- 7:14Speaker 1: great qualities that I admire. I just think I got
- 7:17Speaker 1: lost in this. I don't I don't feel like I
- 7:19Speaker 1: got that from her from this conversation. It felt to
- 7:21Speaker 1: me like she was playing the role of the duchess,
- 7:24Speaker 1: but she was very aware of the fact that she
- 7:26Speaker 1: wasn't just Megan anymore, and she's not. She's being truthful there.
- 7:29Speaker 1: She is a duchess now. It would be interested if
- 7:32Speaker 1: she talked about that. Can you ever just be Megan,
- 7:35Speaker 1: that California girl who married a prince? Like? That's how
- 7:39Speaker 1: I think I would have started, And I think the
- 7:40Speaker 1: first episode should have been Megan and Harry. Harry Pope,
- 7:45Speaker 1: Pope popped in, he poked his head in for for
- 7:47Speaker 1: a minute. But I think I would have got rid
- 7:49Speaker 1: of the reader. Amazing, You're an amazing guest, like any
- 7:53Speaker 1: book would kill to get to the reader Williams on
- 7:55Speaker 1: the show. But I think for the first one I
- 7:57Speaker 1: would have just done Megan and Harry and would have
- 8:00Speaker 1: talked about what the show is going to be like
- 8:02Speaker 1: and what we want to do with this. I don't
- 8:04Speaker 1: know if people are coming back for weeks two. What's
- 8:07Speaker 1: a great point, because there's like twelve more weeks of this.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I can't start twelve more weeks of this. I just
- 8:12Speaker 1: can't stand. I can't. I can't, but I will be there.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Is it fixable? Now? You've worked on lots of shows, Mark,
- 8:18Speaker 1: some really good ones and so not quite so good.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Can you turn the ship around? I do think it's possible.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I think sometimes shows do struggle the other a rough start,
- 8:28Speaker 1: but when you recognize that things need to be changed,
- 8:30Speaker 1: they take the feedback and you listen to the people.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You listen to me and Rob. I think I think
- 8:35Speaker 1: there's hope. I really do think there's Do you think
- 8:37Speaker 1: she's listening. I don't think she's listening. Are you know
- 8:39Speaker 1: where that finished? When she finished tape and she said
- 8:41Speaker 1: to SERENA great show. Oh god, that was so great.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You know, all the producers were like champagne, Meg. So
- 8:48Speaker 1: I've been on shows also Broadway type shows plays, musicals
- 8:53Speaker 1: where after the first rehearsal, everybody in the room is like, well,
- 8:56Speaker 1: this is not very good, and that the castle and
- 8:58Speaker 1: producers are like I far Ivan, and I was just
- 9:01Speaker 1: so brilliant. Oh, Megan, I hope Hia lupo, Hi loupho.
- 9:06Speaker 1: And shoot, we'll get your mother Doris into she could
- 9:09Speaker 1: do for part time job. She'll be in charge of
- 9:11Speaker 1: the teeth. Yes, So, Megan if you're listening to a
- 9:15Speaker 1: lower level. And the worst thing is I want to
- 9:17Speaker 1: love it. I'm not going to this as a hater.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And you've got to talk a little less about yourself.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And I know I talk a lot, but you've got
- 9:24Speaker 1: to just ten percent less. Mean the guests didn't speak Mark,
- 9:29Speaker 1: I didn't know if she was there for she being Serena.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Put it in your week getting dress, going over to
- 9:35Speaker 1: the studio. I would like, why did a bother? And
- 9:38Speaker 1: this is the biggest point of Serena's career. She just retired.
- 9:40Speaker 1: This is the biggest, you know, conversation she could have.
- 9:43Speaker 1: It's a great get I just think she missed the mark.
- 9:45Speaker 1: She was a great I was on this morning show
- 9:47Speaker 1: on v H one, The Big Morning Bust with Carrie Keegan.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I think her name is a great person. The first
- 9:53Speaker 1: time I was a guest, I didn't speak and I
- 9:55Speaker 1: liked to talk. I couldn't get a word in Edge.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I couldn't get worded. Megan, I think you're probably nervous.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Take your time slowed down a bit, Really think what
- 10:04Speaker 1: you want this show to be, which brings us to
- 10:06Speaker 1: my whole question of the day. We want to know
- 10:08Speaker 1: what you think. So. Megan's new podcast is getting slammed
- 10:11Speaker 1: by the critics, saying it's just another way she can
- 10:14Speaker 1: talk about herself. Do you agree? Do you agree? Hey?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Go vert on a Twitter page at Naughty Nice Robert
- 10:21Speaker 1: at Facebook page which is naughty Gossip and be sure
- 10:24Speaker 1: to check back to Morowa to hear the results. Hey, LUPI,
- 10:27Speaker 1: what are you working on? Me? Yeah? I have a
- 10:29Speaker 1: really cute story for you. So Ben Effleck was caught
- 10:32Speaker 1: staring at Jennifer Lopez's wedding pics while on their Italian honeymoon.
- 10:37Speaker 1: So cute? Okay? So, after celebrating their second wedding on
- 10:40Speaker 1: the after sprawling Georgia estate, Affleck and Lopez jetted off
- 10:45Speaker 1: to Italy for their second honeymoon, and while the two
- 10:48Speaker 1: were photographs enjoying a leisurely lunch at the Grand Hotel
- 10:51Speaker 1: in Lake Womo, the Oscar winner was caught staring at
- 10:55Speaker 1: pics of his blushing bride on his phone. So I
- 10:58Speaker 1: feel like appeared to be appreciating one photo in particular,
- 11:01Speaker 1: but one of Lopez on a swing working elaborate Ralph
- 11:04Speaker 1: Lauren Rob Do you think this is cute or even
- 11:09Speaker 1: this is a little weird. I don't know. I mean
- 11:11Speaker 1: I have mixed feedings about this part of me. If
- 11:13Speaker 1: is she's sitting next to you, look at her like
- 11:16Speaker 1: you don't we look at photographs of Jennifer Lopez because
- 11:18Speaker 1: we're not on a boat with her. But if you
- 11:20Speaker 1: get a minute with the celebrity or somebody that you love,
- 11:22Speaker 1: or your wife or your husband or your boyfriend government whoever,
- 11:25Speaker 1: spend time with them. It's like people that go to
- 11:27Speaker 1: pop concerts and just video the whole thing of the
- 11:30Speaker 1: on the photo. I like to see you and I
- 11:33Speaker 1: have a little bit of a rule that, like when
- 11:35Speaker 1: we go for drinks, I try to stay off my phone.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I'm not always the best at it, but I try
- 11:39Speaker 1: to be in the moment. Now, if me and you
- 11:42Speaker 1: were looking at a picture together, mark and critique in
- 11:45Speaker 1: the dress, or she's on a swing, when did you
- 11:48Speaker 1: like we're doing that? I totally get it. So if
- 11:50Speaker 1: the photograph was part of the conversation that we were having, fantastic.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I love to see a photograph. But then I put
- 11:57Speaker 1: my phone down and we talk to you live your
- 12:00Speaker 1: life through a screen, mark or can you look up
- 12:03Speaker 1: and make eye contact. I'm great at eye contact. And
- 12:06Speaker 1: I'm great at being in the moment, like you're saying, Rabbi,
- 12:08Speaker 1: I love I love going out for drinks. I love
- 12:10Speaker 1: connecting and putting my phone away. But when I go
- 12:12Speaker 1: home is when the real, the real research happened. I'm
- 12:16Speaker 1: starting people's facebooks Instagram like I'm doing the words. You're curious.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You're a very curious person. You are. I would have
- 12:23Speaker 1: hated living with you when I was young. I bet
- 12:26Speaker 1: Jonathan had no secret your brother. I bet you knew everything.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I went through other stuff. Horrible. You went through all
- 12:34Speaker 1: his drawers and his diary. Just nosy, nosys, Ben put
- 12:38Speaker 1: down the phone. You were sitting next to your wife,
- 12:41Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez. This rumor bubbled up, and I hate it.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Magic Johnson has been forced to shoot down a false
- 12:49Speaker 1: rumor that he was donating blood at the Red Cross.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So the former Lakers superstar who was diagnosed with HIV
- 12:57Speaker 1: in has been acute STI donating blood. Let me explain
- 13:01Speaker 1: what happened here. So an old photograph, a really old
- 13:04Speaker 1: photograph of him, popped up. It looks like he's having
- 13:07Speaker 1: some blood withdrawn, which is a routine thing back then
- 13:12Speaker 1: with people with HIV. This photograph has now bubbled up
- 13:15Speaker 1: and everybody thinks he is donating blood. Now, he said
- 13:18Speaker 1: that it's just not true. It's absolutely not true. But
- 13:22Speaker 1: I think this really plays in to the stereotype of
- 13:26Speaker 1: the lies that people with HIV what are spreading or infectual.
- 13:31Speaker 1: There's a really ugly underbell a to this really ugly lie, Mark,
- 13:36Speaker 1: don't you think? Yeah? And you know, I think as
- 13:38Speaker 1: a gay man, we we feel this closely because for
- 13:41Speaker 1: years and years and years we've been told do not
- 13:43Speaker 1: donate blood, you cannot donate blood. Then there's this need
- 13:46Speaker 1: please donate blood, donnate blood, but we're still left out
- 13:49Speaker 1: of that. And the reality is every person who donates blood,
- 13:52Speaker 1: the blood is tested in health from month. It's not
- 13:55Speaker 1: just given away. So it's it just seems like a
- 13:58Speaker 1: very backwards and ignorant type of the incrimination against gay people.
- 14:02Speaker 1: And and so I just I feel for Magic. It's
- 14:04Speaker 1: it's hurtful and it's unkind. I would say it's unkind,
- 14:07Speaker 1: isn't it. So he said the following quotes. I'm aware
- 14:09Speaker 1: of the false story circulating on the internet, and to
- 14:12Speaker 1: be clear, I have never donated blood. Mark, You are right,
- 14:16Speaker 1: all blood donations are tested for HIV antibodies, many many
- 14:22Speaker 1: different viruses here. But I just don't believe somebody who
- 14:26Speaker 1: is aware that they are HIV positive would do that.
- 14:29Speaker 1: It's just not something that happens. And to spread that
- 14:33Speaker 1: or to plant that seed that people are trying to
- 14:37Speaker 1: do this is it's just it's wrong. It's just so wrong,
- 14:40Speaker 1: so not true and wrong. Hey, moving along, what's going
- 14:43Speaker 1: on with Kelly clarks And? We love her on the show?
- 14:46Speaker 1: We love her, but not her ex. Solly Clarkson left
- 14:49Speaker 1: Los Angeles for the summer to spend time with her
- 14:51Speaker 1: two children in Montana, where her ex Brendan block side
- 14:56Speaker 1: n Okay. So she said, the kids are with me
- 15:00Speaker 1: and their dad and it was really nice because usually
- 15:03Speaker 1: they have to travel a lot because our separation. But
- 15:06Speaker 1: we're both Montana. The voice judge, who split from her
- 15:09Speaker 1: former manager in noted that she hasn't taken a summer
- 15:13Speaker 1: off since she was sixteen sixteen, but needed to wind
- 15:16Speaker 1: out after a rough couple of years. She said, it
- 15:19Speaker 1: was really important for me to like shut down for
- 15:21Speaker 1: a minute. I literally four wheeled in the mountains. I
- 15:26Speaker 1: love her, I love her. That's all the drama though,
- 15:30Speaker 1: is that he tried to get this ranch from her,
- 15:33Speaker 1: saying that it was his when they got divorced, and
- 15:36Speaker 1: in the end he sort of got a percentage I
- 15:39Speaker 1: think five percent of the property he owns, which I'm
- 15:42Speaker 1: not quite sure how that works. It's like, as he
- 15:44Speaker 1: allowed in five percent of the rooms or five percent
- 15:47Speaker 1: of the furniture. He's fighting her tooth and nail over this,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and so I love the fact she got to spend
- 15:53Speaker 1: some time with the kids. We don't know if he
- 15:55Speaker 1: was around. I'm told that he was not around, but
- 15:58Speaker 1: they are trying to co parent here and at the
- 16:00Speaker 1: end of the day, we have to think about those children. Hey,
- 16:03Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 16:05Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the normity, even nicea mark,
- 16:11Speaker 1: even little hungover a little bit. What did you drink? Wine?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Just well whatever? It was free, so free. I like
- 16:19Speaker 1: a free bar. Yeah, I like a prosecco. I like
- 16:22Speaker 1: a why how many do you think you had? Well
- 16:25Speaker 1: at the end, we just started taking the bottles to
- 16:27Speaker 1: a cable and we just started pouring. It's unknown. That's
- 16:32Speaker 1: the trouble. When you don't pay, you just keep topping
- 16:35Speaker 1: your glass up. Before you ever finish, so it really
- 16:38Speaker 1: is an unknown amount, but I would guess it's a
- 16:40Speaker 1: bottle or two. Hey, let's get two halples do and
- 16:45Speaker 1: Haitia's final resting place has been revealed. Our question was
- 16:50Speaker 1: would you ever go and visit and in l A
- 16:52Speaker 1: would you ever go to a celebrity grave? Some people
- 16:55Speaker 1: really do do this, and you know people have idols
- 16:59Speaker 1: and you see still on graves of Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland,
- 17:03Speaker 1: you do see people turn up with flowers. I think
- 17:06Speaker 1: Vita Paro and two in Argentina people go to her
- 17:09Speaker 1: great Princess Diana. That's interesting that she's buried outside London
- 17:13Speaker 1: and now they have a statue. So would you go,
- 17:15Speaker 1: let's have a look. Sixty said yes, sixty percent of
- 17:18Speaker 1: you would be interested in doing this. I got to
- 17:21Speaker 1: admit I think I'm part of that sixty mark. I
- 17:23Speaker 1: could see myself turning up with some flowers, could you?
- 17:26Speaker 1: And I'm not a graveyard person. I will I will
- 17:29Speaker 1: not be visiting, and I don't visit my grandparents. I
- 17:32Speaker 1: will not be buried. I just I don't believe that
- 17:34Speaker 1: anyone is there. There's nothing going on there. So I
- 17:37Speaker 1: and I wan't you know? I hope you're rest in peace?
- 17:38Speaker 1: But where would you like me to throw your ashes
- 17:41Speaker 1: in Andy Koen's face? And any somewhere maybe like in
- 17:46Speaker 1: a Huddon river? Can we do it on twenty four
- 17:49Speaker 1: Street so I don't have to walk far if I
- 17:51Speaker 1: read down to fill a rose in convenience you right,
- 17:54Speaker 1: thank you, darling. We'll do it just outside Bartos because
- 17:57Speaker 1: it will be very convenient, Thank you, darling. They don't
- 18:00Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's twin a page naughty nice Ram,
- 18:04Speaker 1: but on Facebook page naughty Jake back to Morale to
- 18:08Speaker 1: hear your results. And now it's time for a very
- 18:11Speaker 1: unusual nicest of the day. Unusual is right, Rob, It's
- 18:16Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton Hilary So. In an episode of for upcoming
- 18:21Speaker 1: Apple TV Plus show Gutsy, the former Secretary of State
- 18:24Speaker 1: faces off with Kim Kardashian and a general legal knowledge quiz,
- 18:29Speaker 1: and surprisingly Kim round Hilary Kim So. Before becoming First Lady,
- 18:36Speaker 1: Clinton was a successful lawyer and even they partnered a
- 18:39Speaker 1: law firm, and Kim is currently studying for the bar.
- 18:43Speaker 1: But Hillary's daughter and co host Chelsea chimes and saying
- 18:46Speaker 1: Kim has studied more recently than you. The final score
- 18:49Speaker 1: ending up, and the final score ends up being eleven
- 18:51Speaker 1: to eleven to Kim for the Hillary Wife. I like this,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and I've released this new show. I've been watching it.
- 19:00Speaker 1: They have some amazing guests coming up, Jane Good or
- 19:03Speaker 1: Gloria steinem Wonder sites Kim Kardashian. I think this is
- 19:07Speaker 1: a really good look. So Hillary lost the election and
- 19:10Speaker 1: has moved on. But I think this is important though.
- 19:12Speaker 1: And I'm not making digs of anybody else here. Don't
- 19:15Speaker 1: read into it. When something doesn't work out for you,
- 19:17Speaker 1: don't stamp your foot or cry or spread lies. It
- 19:20Speaker 1: didn't work out. Figure out the next step. I've done
- 19:23Speaker 1: this in the past when I've been fired from a
- 19:25Speaker 1: job or didn't get a job I wanted. I made
- 19:28Speaker 1: all the excuses in the world. I pretended people were
- 19:31Speaker 1: conspiring behind my back not to give me that job. Nonsense.
- 19:35Speaker 1: It didn't work out. Figure out your next move. And
- 19:38Speaker 1: I hope this makes Hillary and her daughter Chelsea, who's
- 19:41Speaker 1: adorable on this, really happy. It gives you the rejection,
- 19:44Speaker 1: it's really the redirection of something better, the redirection. Hillary
- 19:48Speaker 1: looks happier than ever. Hey, let's do a naughtice to
- 19:51Speaker 1: the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty. Richard Simmons left
- 19:55Speaker 1: the spotlight because of personal problems. And I think why
- 20:00Speaker 1: this is the naughtiest is Richard is suddenly back in
- 20:03Speaker 1: the spotlight and he doesn't want to be. I don't
- 20:06Speaker 1: think this is right. Let's leave Richard alone. He doesn't
- 20:09Speaker 1: want to be in the spotlight. Apparently he's gained a
- 20:11Speaker 1: lot of weight, he has, he has issues with his hips,
- 20:15Speaker 1: with his with his feet, he needed knee surgery, and
- 20:18Speaker 1: insiders are saying he just doesn't want to be remembered
- 20:21Speaker 1: as the man he is right now. He's not particularly
- 20:24Speaker 1: healthy right now, he doesn't feel pretty particularly great about
- 20:27Speaker 1: about himself, and so he wants to be remembered as
- 20:30Speaker 1: the as the fitness guru. And if there's ever a
- 20:33Speaker 1: picture of him in a wheelchair or with the cane,
- 20:36Speaker 1: it's gonna be really upsetting to him. We don't own celebrities,
- 20:39Speaker 1: we really don't. When they want to retire, when they
- 20:42Speaker 1: want to step away, I'm okay letting them do so. Yeah,
- 20:46Speaker 1: you know, I I've worked with Richard a few times
- 20:48Speaker 1: and I saw him right before he disappeared, and he
- 20:50Speaker 1: was not in a good place right up he was.
- 20:52Speaker 1: He was very emotional. He cried, he card being with
- 20:55Speaker 1: a weird voicemail, like you could tell he was on
- 20:58Speaker 1: his way out to something, not it, and I I agree,
- 21:01Speaker 1: leave him alone like this, this time does not canceled
- 21:05Speaker 1: out all the great work he did for many, many decades.
- 21:07Speaker 1: You know interesting you say that I was on a
- 21:10Speaker 1: local New York show and I did it pretty much
- 21:12Speaker 1: every day, so that's sort of part of the cast.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Richard was a guest around the time that he disappeared.
- 21:17Speaker 1: In the green room, he was crying and screaming and chatting,
- 21:21Speaker 1: and in the end, the executive producer, who was fantastic,
- 21:24Speaker 1: just made the decision, don't go on, don't do it,
- 21:26Speaker 1: We'll fill Rob can do some celebrity gossips. Don't don't
- 21:29Speaker 1: do this, Let's leave him alone. Let's end with a
- 21:31Speaker 1: moment of robb You get a Robiet robbigeover Rob. I
- 21:33Speaker 1: love this quote by Henry Matisse, the artist. Very fancy
- 21:36Speaker 1: for this show, but I love this. I love this quote.
- 21:39Speaker 1: There are always flowers for those who want to see them.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I want to see flowers every day, and I forced
- 21:45Speaker 1: myself to find them. If you look around, there is
- 21:48Speaker 1: a glimmer of hope. Somewhere there is beauty. I look
- 21:51Speaker 1: at my window when I pulled my coffee in the morning.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I'm up on the fifteenth floor and I look right
- 21:56Speaker 1: up tenth Avenue and I see flowers. I'm like, I'm
- 21:59Speaker 1: the luckiest guy in the world, and I look. I
- 22:01Speaker 1: don't take that view for granted, don't take stuff for granted.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Rather friends with flowers. I would pick you a ford,
- 22:09Speaker 1: that's right, a rose with a ford to freak you
- 22:12Speaker 1: as well as love you. Okay, that is it for today.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Thank you Mark, and thank you for listening to the
- 22:18Speaker 1: Naughty but Nice with Robert Mark Show, a production of
- 22:20Speaker 1: iHeart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on the I Heart
- 22:24Speaker 1: Radio app Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a
- 22:26Speaker 1: review if you can, and remember, if you're going to
