- 0:01Trending. Now here's what you need to know. Well, boards up,
- 0:05buys and fans. Today is a big day up at the Shack. NDSU
- 0:08women's basketball is going to be taken on Montana for the second round of the
- 0:12WNIT. Now, this is gonna be tonight at seven o'clock. Again,
- 0:16this is gonna be at the Shield Center up at the Shack, and it
- 0:18is free. You're probably thinking, well, how is it possibly free?
- 0:22Well, I guess the impact on the basketball team has been great for Derek
- 0:26and Kristen Dinger. Their family loves going to the games, and they decided
- 0:29to buy tickets for everyone. They say, with the craziness of all the
- 0:32high school sports going on, all the kids travel sports, I just think
- 0:35that the women's program is often overlooked. So they want to pack the Shack.
- 0:39So you do not need a ticket. They're not gonna be like distributed
- 0:41to fans. You can just show up. And this is NDSU's first postseason
- 0:45game at home since two thousand. This isn't one of those like pay it
- 0:49forwards where now I have to buy out a stadium of tickets, because that's
- 0:54just annoying. It's just like going through the coffee line. Correct, you
- 1:00grab that ticket, and then you have to when you're financially able, you're
- 1:04gonna have to do the exact same thing. Now, perhaps to the Dingers,
- 1:07that's pretty honest. I don't know the Dingers, but they were sure
- 1:11hit a dinger with this one. Oh man, guys, Mike is on
- 1:15a roll. I don't even have words. All right. So there is
- 1:18a thirty five year old Texas math teacher did you see this? Legally changing
- 1:22his name to literally anybody else and is now running for president. He has
- 1:26already filed with the Federal Election Commission and is collecting signatures. He says,
- 1:30this isn't about me literally anybody else. You know, out of three hundred
- 1:34million people, we can do better for president. A lot of people feel
- 1:38that way. I wonder what would happen. Let's say this guy I don't
- 1:41know anything about him othern he's a teacher, Like, what would happen to
- 1:44our nation? It'd probably be fine, right, you know, there's enough
- 1:47people around. But also some people say that could be the problem too.
- 1:51Uh. Anyway, if you want to learn about his healthcare economy and you
- 1:55know his stances, you can go to literally anybody else dot com. Yeah,
- 2:00howl thirty five, way too young? I like tips over. I
- 2:08mean, what's the fine line for you pike to say in front of that?
- 2:14Oh joys? All right here, you're waking up this morning, and
- 2:17yeah, school is on right here in the FM area roads are slippery,
- 2:22so take a little extra time wile driving into school and work. There are
- 2:23some school closings and e learning days in rural areas of Minnesota and Lakes Country.
- 2:29Get that full listing. So our friends at Gateway Collision Center at Big
- 2:31nine eight seven dot com, what's coming our way? We still have this
- 2:35winter store morning that is going to go until seven am tomorrow. We could
- 2:38see another one to three inches of snow today. The real issue is the
- 2:42wind gus up to about forty five miles per hour kind of mid day really
- 2:46through the night is what they're saying. Could be the worst. Visibility is
- 2:49going to be an issue. We'll see what happens. We did not get
- 2:52dumped on like they said we were going to, So I'll take that bike
- 2:55in the morning. Now, Amanda Stills the sea let's see brought to you
- 3:00by part company Reialtors. Well, it was just her breaking you guys,
- 3:02we finally found out what was going on with Kate Middleton. In a heartfelt
- 3:07message, she revealed that she has been diagnosed with cancer and that she had
- 3:10surgery back in January. The surgery was successful, However, tests after the
- 3:15operation fun cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should
- 3:22undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I'm now in the early stages of
- 3:25that treatment. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has
- 3:29taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment,
- 3:32but most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George,
- 3:38Charlotte and Louis in a way that's appropriate for them, and to reassure them
- 3:40that I'm going to be okay. Oh gosh. A lot of people feeling
- 3:44like Bozo's waking up, going oh my god. I've made a lot of
- 3:46jokes, shared a lot of memes about you know where she's been and yadayana
- 3:51Yeah. Blake Lively was one of the first moms to speak out, saying,
- 3:53I am so sorry. I had no idea. Obviously nobody did,
- 3:58or they probably wouldn't have been acting that way. What she say she had
- 4:00just done a picture of her self sitting there, saying it was it was
- 4:04a nonchalant joke, something like I don't know where I am, or come
- 4:10find me like Kate, or it was something I don't remember the exact area.
- 4:13It was ridiculous. Now people are examining the video that we just listened
- 4:16to and how you know, in the background, like nothing's moving, there's
- 4:20the plants. And then somebody found a video of her wearing the same shirt
- 4:24back in twenty sixteen. I'm like, oh, glad, yeah, don't
- 4:28look in my wardrobe. We're definitely getting need to cut it out. We
- 4:30don't know the type or the stage of cancer. She did not reveal that,
- 4:33but her father in law, King Charles, also also was recently diagnosed
- 4:36with cancer, and we're being told that they were in the same hospital at
- 4:40the same time. And my heart just goes out to Prince William too,
- 4:44having your wife and your dad battling cancer. And then we're finding out that
- 4:48Prince Harry and Meghan found out through the TV, so that relationship has clearly
- 4:53not mended. It's just it's just sad all around. Yeah, you gotta
- 4:56feel bad. Other than the fact that they were born into generational wealth.
- 5:01But money doesn't buy happiness. But that's right, it's all from within,
- 5:04all right. Kanye West, he, I guess, threw a letter from
- 5:08his chief of staff. Which can we discuss that for a second, that
- 5:12Kanye West has a chief of staff. His name is Milo. It's just
- 5:16one of his friends. You know, he's just doing that was me,
- 5:19of course, I'd be given my friend's titles to a chief of staff.
- 5:23Who would be your chief of staff? I mean you got a lot of
- 5:26friends here in the the Fa Maria Pipe, well, the band, I
- 5:28mean the whole band, the whole LS gang would have to have spots in
- 5:30the cabinet. I suppose I'm just head of security, Okay, would I
- 5:36make it? Would I make it into your be social media director or something?
- 5:41It's perfect, Oh my goshould be the best job. Well anyway,
- 5:45he demanded that the music industry referred to Kanye no longer is Kanye because that
- 5:49is his former slave name and he wants to be called Yay. I don't
- 5:54get the I get how a last name because those were at one time,
- 5:59you know, given a slip names, right, But a first name,
- 6:00that's just what your mom named you, I would think, so, yeah,
- 6:03I don't know. I don't know. The whole thing is ridiculous,
- 6:06but I just wonder if this is how he's going to start making a lot
- 6:09of his money back, like filing cease and assistant people who aren't because I've
- 6:14called him Kanye. It's just like, I don't even remember P Diddy's real
- 6:17name when he for like puff Daddy. He's had so many of them,
- 6:20it's like, hey, yeah, gobb me a keep up a there.
- 6:21A Snoop Dogg would change it to Snoop Lion for a little bit. No,
- 6:26don't I miss that? Oh those years ago, Snoop. It didn't
- 6:30last real long. But by the way, I was watching Jimmy Kimmel I
- 6:33don't normally do, but Doctor Dre was on there, yeah, and Snoop
- 6:36and then fifty Cent came out too, And I guess Doctor Drane and Snooper
- 6:40doing a new album together, first one in thirty years. Oh man,
- 6:43really very giddy. That is awesome. How about this Giselle? She is
- 6:48speaking out once again. This time she is denying rumors that she cheated on
- 6:53Tom Brady. She says it's a lie. She said that her relationship with
- 6:58the jiu jitsu trainer Joaquing Valenti they started after her divorce. She says,
- 7:01I really don't want to make my life a tabloid. I don't want to
- 7:04open myself up to all of that. Kind of feels like if you just
- 7:09didn't release this statement, we all would have kind of forgot about it.
- 7:12But she goes on to say that nobody knows what has been going on in
- 7:15their relationship, basically saying this is something that happens to a lot of women
- 7:19who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and they
- 7:24are labeled as being unfaithful. She also says that nobody really knows what happens
- 7:28between two people, only the two people in the relationship. As for Juaqim
- 7:32and the jiu jitsu situation, she says, this is the first time that
- 7:36I am seeing someone that was my friend first. It's very different, It's
- 7:41very honest, and it's very transparent. Meanwhile, no matter what anybody says,
- 7:46if I'm Tom Brady, I'm upset because the jiu jitsu instructor was traveling
- 7:51with them. There's we saw all of that, like teaching the kids him
- 7:58and her all of that. You can't help go, oh gosh, it's
- 8:01gonna feel like icky, right, because even if they didn't act on it,
- 8:05you know that this relationship at least emotionally started while they were together.
- 8:09So that's gotta be icky. And just losing a girl to a jiu jitsu
- 8:13instructor. Man, I mean, he's got a nice body, but yeah,
- 8:18man was giving him the real once over. I don't know. I
- 8:20just kind of listen him like, I don't know, he's just but he's
- 8:22nothing, nothing spectacular. But again he could you know, you got to
- 8:26imagine a guy who knows jiu jitsu probably's got a trick or to up like
- 8:30a minute in the morning. Big ninety eight point seven. I don't like
- 8:33talking laundry with you because I know how you are. You're very judgy when
- 8:37it comes to my washing habits, specifically when it comes to the undergarments.
- 8:41Now, how often there was the question? Because I was checking the mail
- 8:43yesterday and normally you get a lot of junk mail, you know, but
- 8:46I saw that in the mail I had my laundry care report for twenty twenty
- 8:50four and thought, oh, this will be good. The annual report over,
- 8:54of course, famously is conducted by LG Electronics. So it came out
- 8:58and it showed that thirty percent of people admit to having multiple wears out of
- 9:03their underwear. And multiple Now that could be two thirty percent, So I'm
- 9:07not alone. I know you think I'm crazy for wearing them more than once.
- 9:11Now if I worked out or sweat you know, or took like a
- 9:15long car ride, because that, you know, they gets kind of nasty,
- 9:18that's one thing. But I don't think it's crazy. Do you don't
- 9:20have somewhere in like your room where you know, you get the dirty clothes,
- 9:22the hamp or whatever, and then you got your clean clothes, but
- 9:26you don't have like sort of an in between area where you throw it for
- 9:28just just in case. My husband has an in between area. For instance,
- 9:33when he gets home from work, he'll put on his comfies and then
- 9:37he takes them off and he's like, oh, I'm gonna wear those again.
- 9:41But then it's funny because then he gets another set of comfies and then
- 9:45he's gonna put those where those go, and then it's like, oh,
- 9:46I might wear those again. You're not going to so I always end up
- 9:50having to put that pile away. I know that, Like, if I
- 9:54wear sweatpants, you could how often are you gonna wash sweatpants? Say you're
- 9:56only wearing around just hold them and put them back if they're not dirty.
- 10:01Yeah, So I'm not a crazy washer. Like as far as like jeans
- 10:05and stuff like that, I'll give them a good probably three times to wear.
- 10:09Oh jeans, jeans, Yeah, unless I spill beer on them or
- 10:13something hilarious. My husband is the same exact way. Granted he wears dress
- 10:16pants most of the time, but even then, like we run our vacation,
- 10:20he didn't wear dress pants and I was like, hey, I'm gonna
- 10:22wash these because we were there for six days. So by day four,
- 10:26I'm like, I'm gonna wash them. He's like find, I'm like,
- 10:28they're just not like they're gross. No, with jeans, you only get
- 10:31so many washes out of a pair of jeans every time you wash them.
- 10:35It's closer to having to throw them away. So really saving money preserve the
- 10:39jeans. But the undergarments like bras, I'm not probably maybe once a week.
- 10:43Sure. What about workout clothes? Because people admitted in of course the
- 10:46Laundry Care Report for twenty twenty four to wearing workout clothes even more than once.
- 10:52Nah, maybe a sports bra if I if I know, which is
- 10:56kind of e But as far as like the pants go, no, really
- 11:00jim shorts, yeah, I mean unless you really like, really swetnot I'm
- 11:03thinking of like wrestling practice days where you just like drenched head to toe.
- 11:07But I mean, really, how often are you getting yourself to that that
- 11:11level of a lather. You guys did wear singlets for wrestling practice? No?
- 11:15Oh, why did I think that you guys were always in Singapore?
- 11:18We save those for the big moments. No practice, you just wear shorts
- 11:22and a shirt. Oh is it breaking news? That is to me?
- 11:26I guess I'm trying to think of other sports where you don't wear the uniform
- 11:28for practice. I mean, baseball you canna wear whatever. I didn't wear
- 11:31my dance uniform for well. No, that's the same for those moments,
- 11:35and same with basketball, Molly, but all of them. Speaking of not
- 11:39watching things that single didn't see the dryer too often, say that taking Amanda
- 11:43in the morning ninety seven time for a round of is it weird? Where
- 11:52we reveal things we do in our personal lives, and it's up to the
- 11:54other to determine whether it's a weird thing or you know, we're not alone
- 11:58in that, So Amanda, I'd like to give you the honors of starting
- 12:01it. All Right, it's kind of little, but I can't be the
- 12:03only one that only uses one of the burners on my stove. Do you
- 12:09have like your favorite one when you cook, Like there's four burners on there.
- 12:13When my husband cooks every once in a while, like if we're having
- 12:16a big situation, he'll use all four burners. But for me, the
- 12:18bottom right is the only one I use. Well, the well, yeah,
- 12:22no, that's not weird. Everyone's got their favorite one and it's the
- 12:24big one, right, Well, there's usually two big ones and two small.
- 12:28Yeah, but on our stove anyway, there's the big one that's just
- 12:31normal, and then the other big one it has some weird you know,
- 12:33where there's two. So picture the knob like halfway down, so I guess
- 12:37it'd be like at six o'clock it says high, so it's like low to
- 12:41high, and then it starts from six to midnight it starts another load to
- 12:46high, and it shows a picture where there's like an interval and then an
- 12:50hour one. So it just like kind of stresses me out because I don't
- 12:54really know what's going on. So I just used the other one. We
- 12:56have a gas stove, so we have like the two. I have a
- 13:00wood burning stem just for the record, But either way, it's just it's
- 13:03hilarious because like I feel like that's like they're not getting any love. Little
- 13:07kay. I mean, yeah, unless you got one of the little the
- 13:09little pot, I know, and sometimes because I like it too, it
- 13:13is satisfying when the pot is the exact size as the burner. Yes,
- 13:16so just you know, if I'm making a little roy We're getting so old,
- 13:20like these are the things that we think about. I know, I
- 13:22did. I seriously, I'm like, gosh, this poor burner just is
- 13:26not getting any love. Sometimes I like just turn them on just to get
- 13:31just makes her it works, give it a little love, all right?
- 13:33All right? Is it weird? And actually I'm just gonna go north a
- 13:37couple of feet to the microwave here what happened? I don't know if it
- 13:43was all appliance based today, but yeah, we didn't have a theme for
- 13:46Is it weird? Is it weird that when I warm something up in the
- 13:50microwave, I always have a very specific time that I enter, Like,
- 13:56for example, a bag of popcorn, I know to be one minute and
- 13:58fifty two seconds, or if I'm warming up just some leftovers, I always
- 14:03try to get it like thirty seven seconds. Really, And Lauren, my
- 14:05wife, pointed out, She's like, why do you not just do like
- 14:09the add thirty seconds, just like if you want a minute, hit add
- 14:11thirty seconds twice if you want to. You know, totally depends on where
- 14:16you're at. So I'm a little odd, but not this way. I
- 14:18put everything in for two minutes typically. Oh, unless it's a casadia for
- 14:24the kids, I know, that's eighteen seconds. Weird. That's like the
- 14:26only thing to melt the cheese, Yeah, because then because they don't want
- 14:30it too hot so they can eat it right away. So it's just melted
- 14:33a tortilla and cheese. It's quick. Really, I have phone. Cheese
- 14:35doesn't melt. I just had this yesterday. Fifteen seconds wasn't enough? Really?
- 14:39Yeah? All right, well, yeah, usually two minutes no matter
- 14:41what. And then I usually stop it at like thirty seconds. But I
- 14:46can't wait two minutes to eat my food. That's just a long time.
- 14:48That'll cook the heck out of something, unless it's a potato. But also,
- 14:52do you ever let it hit zero? Because I don't always pull it.
- 14:56I'll always open the mic at like one second. Psycho always hit I
- 15:00cannot stand. I can tell when somebody has been using the microwave. If
- 15:03it doesn't have the time on, it drives me bananas. Also, well,
- 15:07you're the one that wipes out the sink so it's dry all the time.
- 15:09Always like to keep a dry sink. What is wrong with you?
- 15:13Because I can't stand there? Doesn't it gross you out when you walk by
- 15:16your sink and there's it's just wet. No, that's like the where I
- 15:20would expect it to be wet, but it's and then the spots all over
- 15:22it. That does not drive you crazy. Thank god you guys don't have
- 15:26a pool and be out there drying. Come on Amanda in the morning.
- 15:33On something to be aware of. Never have found of this, but a
- 15:37lot of people have crushes on coworkers, right, It's an easy place to
- 15:39fall in love. But there's one TikToker who's made it known that there is
- 15:43such thing as office goggles. Now we've heard you wearing those office goggles.
- 15:48You got your office goggles on, beer goggles of cod That, yes,
- 15:52very much a thing. Are they similar well in a way in that there
- 15:56are people who you might have a crush on at work, but in any
- 16:00other normal circumstance, it's not somebody you would be interested in, much like
- 16:03when you're you know, having a bunch of drinks. Somebody might look pretty
- 16:07appetizing, and then the next day you're like, oh god, for everything.
- 16:11With the goggles, everything may look good. And then you're like,
- 16:15oh wait. You then are in a relationship with somebody, you live with,
- 16:18somebody, you go through and you're like, this isn't what I was
- 16:21expecting it to be. Like, well, that's gonna happen no matter what.
- 16:23But the office goggles, she says, anyway that just because you're around
- 16:27them at the work setting, you're more likely to have a crush on them,
- 16:30but you're not really in love with them. It's only because you've got
- 16:33your office goggles on, which is weird because the lighting in an office is
- 16:36not great. No, in fact, it's pretty brutal. Yeah, you
- 16:41ever falling in love with a coworker, never falling in love with a co
- 16:44worker. When I worked at a country club, I had and what you
- 16:47do the hots for a co worker. Yeah, yeah, as a beer
- 16:49cart girl. There was a couple of golf pros that were over there that
- 16:52were you know, you can just picture some lookers, you know, exactly
- 16:56giving me some golf lessons. Really appreciated that, by the way, Thank
- 17:00you, Thank you, gentlemen. Really I'm kidding. Other than that,
- 17:03as far as coworkers go, Nah, it's weird because you work with some
- 17:07really good looking guy. I know that's so true. I noticed. I
- 17:10mean, I think Pike, you and I can just I mean cut to
- 17:12the chase here. I don't think either of either of you be either of
- 17:17us. Man, I'm getting Twitter paid and docing about you are visibly are
- 17:21so uncomfortable. We're not looking each other in the eyes at all. No,
- 17:23never just looking anywhere. But no, like that's just never been a
- 17:27thing. You were such brother or sister. No, of course not.
- 17:30I did meet my wife here at the radio station. Oh my gosh,
- 17:33I forget about that. Yeah, once upon a time she was a promotions
- 17:37team member and I was a young morning show I'm just kidding. I don't
- 17:41like to say the intern we're the same age just because I was doing a
- 17:45different jobs, you know, I know, it's just more fun to say
- 17:48it that way. Now, we did go to m sum together and the
- 17:51same major. Not that that's how we met, but it was. It's
- 17:53a much more convenient way to explain it to people. No, Oh,
- 17:56yeah, we went to school together and she was a promotions team member.
- 18:00That's how you really sparked up the relationship. What was she handing out some
- 18:03T shirts and said, hike kind of a big deal. She's like,
- 18:07oh she was. I mean, she probably hated me because she was.
- 18:08We had just started that morning show in which he was promoting it, so
- 18:11they had to go around and hand out all these stickers and tell people about
- 18:15this morning Show's like, you know, while we're sending there drinking somewhere like
- 18:23in a minute in the morning, big nuddy. You know, really,
- 18:27anybody man is capable of doing bad things, wouldn't you agree? Yeah,
- 18:32of course, even a pastor of the Lord. Yeah, well let me
- 18:36tell you about this, you'd think definitely not. But so, first and
- 18:38foremost he's a pastor. But secondly, he's a father a young daughter.
- 18:42Okay, you might know what this is like down the road with your daughter
- 18:45has a boyfriend and well, dad doesn't approve. Okay, yeah, I
- 18:51mean that happens. I don't know what the problem is. It doesn't give
- 18:53the details in this news story. How bad was the guy? Was he
- 18:56just a jerk? Was he a literal criminal dealing drugs? I don't know.
- 19:00But it was to the point where the pastor was so tired of his
- 19:04daughter dating the guy he tried to convince her to break up with him.
- 19:07But of course she's in love. Love is blind. So the next natural
- 19:11step in his progression, the pastor hired a hitman to kill Oh my gosh,
- 19:15we're going like a dateline trouble here. Yeah, it happened quickly.
- 19:19Now. I don't know if you've been here. I've always wondered what is
- 19:22a going rate of a hit man these days? You know? Every time
- 19:26I see this on dateline and an unfold, it's always just like a bag
- 19:29of cash, usually thousands of dollars, And oddly enough, it's never like
- 19:34the you'd think it'd be at least fifty sixty thousand dollars, like minimum I
- 19:40don't know why I gave it like an annual salary here, but it feels
- 19:42like it's like five six grand. And then once it's done, they come
- 19:45back for like another ten grand. Well, see, it's like anything,
- 19:48you get what you pay for. And this guy paid, in this case,
- 19:51forty thousand dollars for a hit man. Well guess what. The hit
- 19:55man shot the boyfriend but only wounded him. Boyfriend was able to drive.
- 20:00No, No, he was trying to kill him. Oh. I thought
- 20:03he was like, okay for forty grand. Only I'm just gonna like breeze
- 20:08right by your shoulder. Are you want murder? One hundred grand? What's
- 20:12forty grand? Get me? Oh? Man, forty grand? I'll hit
- 20:15him in the shoulder. Who'll have to have surgery? No, I think
- 20:17he was going for it. So now they discovered they've traced it back to
- 20:19the father, the pastor, who's arrested on a million dollar bail, probably
- 20:25gonna be in prison for some time. That is horrifying. And to know
- 20:27that your dad would do something like that, How do you ever get past
- 20:30that? And do these two end up together? Is this a part of
- 20:33their love story? Say other thing? I mean you know, this is
- 20:36so extreme. You really probably could have just waited like six months and they're
- 20:41gonna break up. I don't even know anything about them other than they're gonna
- 20:44break up at best. Yeah, six months. Second, Dad, you
- 20:47coulda just I don't know, prayed about it like it a minute in the
- 20:49morning. Come get up on. You know, if you take your kids
- 20:55to a restaurant, whether they behave or not, is a it's anyone's guest.
- 20:59You just never because every time I'm like, oh, we got it,
- 21:00you know, because we have almost a five year old and a three
- 21:03and a half year old, and I feel like We're starting to get to
- 21:07that point where I'm not as anxious taking them out, you know what I
- 21:10mean, Like, chances are they're going to be pretty decent. Well,
- 21:12if they are decent, and you go to this particular restaurant which has gone
- 21:15viral, you're gonna get a discount on your food. Oh, racint has
- 21:19gone viral and on it there's a six dollars and seventy two cent discount added
- 21:25to the bill for what it says is well behaved kids. That's awesome.
- 21:29Well is it awesome? I mean? Of course, the internet being the
- 21:32Internet. They found plenty of reasons why. It's not a lot of people
- 21:34saying it's stupid that you know, it's insane for them to make a judgment
- 21:38call on every single baby and child that comes into the restaurant. Yeah.
- 21:42I mean, bottom line is is kids are going to be kids. I
- 21:45don't think that they need to It's not like they're kicking them out. Then
- 21:48I would have an issue with it. It's the fact that if there are
- 21:52well behaved kids. For instance, we had just flew in from Colorado,
- 21:56what was that like a week ago and one of the best COMPLI I ever
- 22:00received. And I didn't think my kids were being that great. They were
- 22:03still just being kids. But there was a guy behind me we got done
- 22:07getting off the flight. He goes, I just want to let you know
- 22:07your kids were really great on that flight. Oh. I was like,
- 22:11wow, Well, listen, that was a really huge compliment. I don't
- 22:14know what anybody says. The bar for kids on flights is pretty low,
- 22:18So anything short of them screaming and kicking the seat in front of them the
- 22:21whole flight is good. Yeah. It's not like I'm gonna be skipping out
- 22:23of the restaurant like oh, my kids were great and like rubbing it into
- 22:26people's faces. But I think as a restaurant owner, if you were to
- 22:30do that, or as a waitress, I'd be like, that's really sweet,
- 22:33and guess what, I'm gonna give you that money as a tip.
- 22:36Probably more so. Yeah, but aren't you opening it up for Let's say
- 22:38you do go with your kids and you think they're pretty well behaved, but
- 22:41you get the receipt that doesn't have the well behaved kids discount. Now you're
- 22:45arguing and no, you gotta think the managerss is like defend themselves. Nobody's
- 22:48gonna do that. I think this would be just a nice little bonus.
- 22:51If you go to this restaurant knowing they're handing out well behave kids discounts and
- 22:55you don't get one, You're not gonna have something to say. I'm definitely
- 22:57not gonna say anything. I think this is something that should just not be
- 23:00known. Does that make sense? Now it's known. I mean they did
- 23:03it once and now we all know. So no, if I go in
- 23:07there and in my non existent kids, so you would not totally be like,
- 23:11hey, what's the deal? Listen, I get it, but you
- 23:14need to explain what did they do? Hunt sir? What what was the
- 23:17matter with my children? Why do you why do they not deserve a discount?
- 23:22And do you like going to eat with your kids anyway? I mean
- 23:25it is stressful. Oh first, like, wouldn't you rather just eat at
- 23:27home? We normally do. Yeah, so we get something to go or
- 23:32drive through. Yes, I mean it's fun for the kids. But yeah.
- 23:34We picked up our nephews last week and we're gonna get McDonald's. And
- 23:37I'm like, oh, should be eating the restaurant. And we're just like,
- 23:41you know, it's just a little and they're great. I mean they're
- 23:44great kids, of course, but you know, it's just there's some stress.
- 23:45See restaurants, I feel like they have. They're a little bit better
- 23:48because they are. They're excited, they're eating. There's it's all just like
- 23:52right there, and we'll get a booth and we can kind of lock them
- 23:55in there a little bit. We know that the timeframe is a little anti
- 23:59but you know, I don't grocery shop. I always do online, always,
- 24:03always, always, and do pickup. We decided we were going to
- 24:06conquer the grocery store on Saturday. Oh, just a quick little, Hey,
- 24:08we need to go get ten things. Biggest mistake of my life,
- 24:11really, I mean it was I could I could hear Nick down in like
- 24:15that dairy asle and I was over in this cereal with the kids and was
- 24:19like, sorry, do it my mom. I remember growing up my mom
- 24:23would open a thing like get a snack for us and just open it and
- 24:26let us start eating it. And I always felt really weird because that isn't
- 24:30that odd. But I guess I can see how now it wouldn't be.
- 24:33But that was the other thing we said, you eat, she gets to
- 24:36pick out one healthy thing. Sydney's like grabbing cookies were like a chasing them.
- 24:41Were like no, stop it. And I did finally learn the messaging
- 24:45how they have because we had the cart where the kids were in the the
- 24:48little car, in the little car, all of the things at their eye
- 24:52level. It's weird how that's all the expensive sugary stuff. Interesting, My
- 24:56goodness, I like to use that car sometimes. It cat Yeah, Briggs
- 25:00decided by the end of it, if this shows you what kind of production
- 25:03it was to climb out, jump on top as we're trying to scan our
- 25:07groceries and he's like wow. I'm like okay, we're done here. We're
- 25:11gonna go back to pick up
