- 0:52Speaker 2: go to preborn dot com slash MM extra. Welcome to
- 0:56Speaker 2: Preborn everybody that wants to advertise with us. We extra
- 1:00Speaker 2: love you and Mike. I'm extra ready to go today,
- 1:03Speaker 2: News heavy day. How you doing, I'm good?
- 1:05Speaker 3: You know I get yelled at when I say eight
- 1:07Speaker 3: five oh baby, because it's not really, oh, it's zero.
- 1:12Speaker 3: And people these are like the school marms who say, Mike,
- 1:15Speaker 3: you shouldn't say oh in a phone number it's zero
- 1:19Speaker 3: because the OS is a different is a different digit
- 1:23Speaker 3: on the on the.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Keyboard, completely completely stupid. If SOCY has an area code,
- 1:28Speaker 2: what's the area code for Washington two oh two O
- 1:31Speaker 2: two not to zero two zero's.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Hey, don't shoot the messager. Don't shoot the messenger. I'm
- 1:37Speaker 3: just I'm just telling you what I look, I'm a
- 1:39Speaker 3: little cranky. I just fired my barber. I just just
- 1:43Speaker 3: decided I had enough of my barber. How do you
- 1:46Speaker 3: fire a barber? Don't you just stop going? Is there paperwork?
- 1:49Speaker 3: I mean, how does that? Yeah? But I had to
- 1:51Speaker 3: announce it. But I had to announce it. I'm like
- 1:53Speaker 3: these cranky callers who say, I'm never going to listen
- 1:56Speaker 3: to your show ever again in the history of it.
- 1:58Speaker 3: And I was like, you're not an airport. You don't
- 2:00Speaker 3: need to announce your departure. You can just leave goodbye.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Don't let the door hit you in there, you know
- 2:05Speaker 3: what when you're away up. But I had to let
- 2:07Speaker 3: him know that I was firing him. I wasn't just
- 2:08Speaker 3: gonna not show up. I wanted to know what does
- 2:10Speaker 3: a barber do that that warrants dismissal? Never available, can
- 2:15Speaker 3: never get in to see him? Makes me crazy. I
- 2:18Speaker 3: need a haircut. I don't even have that much hair
- 2:21Speaker 3: like you. We're down to our last. Although I'm taking,
- 2:24Speaker 3: I'm taking. You know what's it called.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm like eighteen bucks at Great Clips, might
- 2:32Speaker 2: be sixteen with the senior deal you.
- 2:35Speaker 3: It's like, here's the thing. It's thirty five or forty
- 2:38Speaker 3: bucks for a haircut, but I always tip him fifty bucks.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Why now you go?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Why aren't you in Great Clips?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Or I know? Well, I don't want to. I do
- 2:47Speaker 3: want to kind of look decent. I mean, I don't know.
- 2:50Speaker 2: My Great Shop deliver. I mean, how much you what
- 2:53Speaker 2: kind of a canvas are we presenting to these people?
- 2:55Speaker 3: I got a I got more on my canvas than
- 2:57Speaker 3: you have on us. You see, a canvas is a
- 3:00Speaker 3: lot blanker than mine is. I mean it is. Look,
- 3:03Speaker 3: I got a big forehead, but you got like a
- 3:05Speaker 3: landing strip up there. You're like at aircraft carrier. So
- 3:09Speaker 3: but I can never get in. And and then I
- 3:11Speaker 3: when I mentioned on the air that I like to
- 3:13Speaker 3: be generous and I always love I over tip. My
- 3:17Speaker 3: kids give me more grief about this and I tell them,
- 3:21Speaker 3: you know, guys, God has blessed me with a good income.
- 3:25Speaker 3: People are out here cutting hair, slinging plates, feeding people
- 3:29Speaker 3: at the waiters, waitresses, car washes. I mean, it's crazy.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I used to go to the car wash up in
- 3:36Speaker 3: Keller all the time and I would watch people go
- 3:38Speaker 3: out to get the claim their car. They had a
- 3:40Speaker 3: great car wash right by the house where Denise and
- 3:43Speaker 3: I built in Keller, the kind of the Keller South
- 3:46Speaker 3: like area there in Texas, and I would wash. They
- 3:48Speaker 3: would never tip, They would walk out, get in their
- 3:50Speaker 3: car and drive away. I always drop in five ten
- 3:53Speaker 3: bucks in the in the tip jar for the people doing.
- 3:56Speaker 2: The car wash tipping right there Talking topic podcast top
- 4:00Speaker 2: Podcaststic because I did it too. So you sit there
- 4:02Speaker 2: and you're sitting there with other people waiting, and maybe
- 4:04Speaker 2: there are four or five cars being worked on, and
- 4:06Speaker 2: then they raise their hand or wave a towel and
- 4:08Speaker 2: you go get your car right. I tip jars. The
- 4:12Speaker 2: tip thing is socialism. No no, no, no no. I
- 4:16Speaker 2: take my money and I give it right to the
- 4:18Speaker 2: person who did my actual car I don't know that.
- 4:22Speaker 3: We got to go in. I don't know that we
- 4:24Speaker 3: have to start screaming socialism because they're shared tips.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Look, they share the definition of socialism. They share, they
- 4:31Speaker 2: share it. The last tip you gave at a restaurant,
- 4:33Speaker 2: they shared that tip. They do that all the time.
- 4:35Speaker 2: They will take the tips in many restaurants and they
- 4:38Speaker 2: put it into one big pool and then they split
- 4:41Speaker 2: it up. And the reason they do that is because
- 4:43Speaker 2: there's a lot of cheapskates who don't tip at all
- 4:47Speaker 2: for somebody who's working hard.
- 4:48Speaker 3: They have all guy's problem.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So my guy and so Lisa and I arout for
- 4:52Speaker 2: a fantastic dinner and we may drop thirty percent on
- 4:55Speaker 2: a guy because he's absolutely fantastic, and he gets screwed
- 4:59Speaker 2: out of some of the money that I've given him.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I get it.
- 5:01Speaker 2: But because you know, Leonard did a horrible job, or
- 5:06Speaker 2: maybe Leonard did a great job but got stiff excuse me,
- 5:08Speaker 2: Leonard did a great job but got stiffed by his
- 5:12Speaker 2: stingy that that's that's socialism. That's definitely get it.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I get it. But that's how they do it, and
- 5:17Speaker 3: that's the way a lot of places work with tips.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Tipping is a fascinating topic because it's also very geographically determined.
- 5:27Speaker 3: In New York, you tip a stranger walking down the street,
- 5:30Speaker 3: you gotta tip everybody. You tip the doorman, you tip
- 5:34Speaker 3: the taxi driver, you tag, you tip the gray grocery store.
- 5:37Speaker 3: In Texas, you don't really tip everybody like that.
- 5:41Speaker 2: What so, what would be a definition of somebody in
- 5:44Speaker 2: New York that you would tip that somebody in Texas
- 5:46Speaker 2: you would not?
- 5:47Speaker 3: Mailman? Do you tip the mailman?
- 5:48Speaker 2: Oh? What do I see the mail man?
- 5:51Speaker 3: You gotta tip the mailman in New York.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I give him a little I give him a little
- 5:55Speaker 2: something something like Christmas.
- 5:56Speaker 3: And you tip everybody.
- 5:58Speaker 2: And you want to see the mailman.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Well, when he delivers the mail, you tip him like
- 6:02Speaker 3: Alika like once, well, definitely Christmas time. Like you do
- 6:05Speaker 3: the door men. I mean these dorms.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Every day that he brings you your bills in your
- 6:10Speaker 2: junk mail. And here's a five. I mean go back
- 6:13Speaker 2: to the haircut. Do you do you tip when you
- 6:14Speaker 2: get a haircut?
- 6:15Speaker 3: Of course? Okay, a lot of people don't a lot
- 6:17Speaker 3: of people don't tip for car wash. A lot of
- 6:20Speaker 3: people are just not And again it has a lot
- 6:23Speaker 3: to do. But the point was that I made with
- 6:25Speaker 3: the tipping that I give this guy. I can never
- 6:28Speaker 3: get in to see him. I've got his phone number.
- 6:30Speaker 3: I text him, Hey, got some availability. Nope, nope, sar,
- 6:33Speaker 3: I'm all booked up, all booked tomorrow. Book But he
- 6:35Speaker 3: ain't that good. I mean, for crying out loud, give me,
- 6:38Speaker 3: give me a little bit of fifty. It's fifteen minutes
- 6:40Speaker 3: to cut my hair. You can't squeeze me in. What
- 6:43Speaker 3: do you do with the toll? It's no kidding, no,
- 6:45Speaker 3: it doesn't take a lot. You just gotta have a
- 6:47Speaker 3: little tiny pars. So anyway, I fired, and.
- 6:50Speaker 2: We got to get cracking. I'm on a little bit
- 6:52Speaker 2: short least because I Scott Jennings show calling me here
- 6:54Speaker 2: in a little bit.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, go.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Before I even get to the four count them four
- 6:58Speaker 2: guaranteed things I said we were going to do today,
- 7:00Speaker 2: we got to have the first of the first one. Though,
- 7:02Speaker 2: is abdul al said he won. Is that good news
- 7:06Speaker 2: because is easier to beat than Mike Rogers. I will
- 7:09Speaker 2: say I think so. I believe that, but I've seen
- 7:12Speaker 2: clips of him last night, so on this morning, this
- 7:14Speaker 2: guy's good he has a solid campaign skill set.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Views.
- 7:18Speaker 2: This carry is wrong about everything. Blah blah blah. I
- 7:21Speaker 2: think Mike Rodgers still wins. But this guy is gifted.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Well. As a Hamash supporter, he is good. You're right.
- 7:28Speaker 3: That's supporters go. Yes, as Hamas supporters go. He's very articulate,
- 7:33Speaker 3: and he looks good and sounds good and looks into
- 7:36Speaker 3: the camera. Last night when he gave his semi victory speech,
- 7:40Speaker 3: and boy, I opened up a can of worms on
- 7:42Speaker 3: this one. He concluded by the Islamic if God wills
- 7:47Speaker 3: it expression in Salah inshallah, which means if God wills
- 7:52Speaker 3: it or whatever. But this is this is the reality
- 7:55Speaker 3: we're facing. Mike Pompeo tweeted this out last night. A
- 7:58Speaker 3: Hamas supporter very well be the Democrats nominee to represent
- 8:02Speaker 3: Michigan in the Senate. Well he is. Now we know
- 8:05Speaker 3: that a guy who campaigns with Hassan Piker, A guy
- 8:09Speaker 3: who believes that we deserve nine to eleven. A guy
- 8:12Speaker 3: who doesn't think October seventh was all that bad. Israel's
- 8:15Speaker 3: much worse.
- 8:15Speaker 2: No, that's Piker. I mean those who were known by
- 8:19Speaker 2: those who we hang with.
- 8:20Speaker 3: That's right.
- 8:21Speaker 2: A campaign repugnant views, who should get you shunned among
- 8:24Speaker 2: decent people.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I saw a clip this morning from Hassan Piker who
- 8:28Speaker 3: said that Senator Tim Scott here in Florida ought to
- 8:31Speaker 3: be killed for his rights. Yep, should be should literally
- 8:35Speaker 3: be killed. We should kill him now he Ordinarily that's
- 8:39Speaker 3: a disqualifier. You show up with a guy like that
- 8:41Speaker 3: on the stage, I would think one would say, might
- 8:45Speaker 3: be a bridge too far. Not for today's Democrats. The
- 8:48Speaker 3: Democratic Party today, Mark is in shambles. They're headed down
- 8:52Speaker 3: this dark, violent, ominous road, and every American better wake up.
- 8:58Speaker 3: We better be so aware of what they are now presenting.
- 9:02Speaker 3: And I gotta believe your theory is right. Okay, they
- 9:05Speaker 3: got they're making they're making all kinds of inroads in
- 9:08Speaker 3: the primaries, but they're gonna get their butts kicked in
- 9:10Speaker 3: the in the general election.
- 9:12Speaker 2: That that's earth logic in the way that it should work.
- 9:14Speaker 2: But it's funny, even as you say, you know, every
- 9:17Speaker 2: time I hear you or anybody, a lot of voices
- 9:19Speaker 2: in the conservative media sphere saying, oh, they're imploding, it's
- 9:24Speaker 2: they're they're they're they're committing political suicide. They should be
- 9:28Speaker 2: I hope that that's true, that should be the case.
- 9:32Speaker 2: But if if they are able, I I don't ever
- 9:34Speaker 2: want to underestimate the degree to which some in the
- 9:37Speaker 2: American and the public can be lured by the crack
- 9:40Speaker 2: pipe of free stuff from other people. They're they're they're
- 9:44Speaker 2: They're always going to be voters who just don't pay
- 9:46Speaker 2: much attention to the Hamas stuff or the abolish the
- 9:49Speaker 2: police or abolished depending on But all these sweet talking
- 9:53Speaker 2: people who get up there and say, I'm gonna make
- 9:55Speaker 2: groceries affordable, I'm gonna make the buses free, I'm gonna
- 9:58Speaker 2: go after the man because the man's gonna boot on
- 10:00Speaker 2: your neck tell us more. That scares me more than
- 10:04Speaker 2: a little.
- 10:05Speaker 3: But as an institution, as Politico reports, they are imploding.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Politico had a big piece this week how it's beyond
- 10:14Speaker 3: embarrassing Ken Martin, who's the DNC chair and the Democrat
- 10:18Speaker 3: National Committee, they have a big, big problem. Donors are
- 10:23Speaker 3: abandoning the party in droves. The Democrat National Committee has
- 10:28Speaker 3: a massive cash deficit heading into November. The chair, Ken Martin,
- 10:33Speaker 3: according to Politico, is facing a massive onslaught of criticism
- 10:38Speaker 3: for failing to build up reserves, and the issue goes
- 10:42Speaker 3: way beyond leadership. According to Politico Bundlers donors, they who
- 10:47Speaker 3: are granted anonymity to speak candidly, said they've lost all
- 10:50Speaker 3: trust in the party's top organization. They've got no direction. Look,
- 10:56Speaker 3: their whole thing is to they've got no substantive plans.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Even abdul l said, they're not telling you how they're
- 11:03Speaker 3: gonna make things more affordable. They just shriek. Medicare for all,
- 11:07Speaker 3: Medicare for all, Medicare for all sounds good. Everybody gets
- 11:11Speaker 3: free healthcare. Oh, isn't that great until it's not? Until
- 11:15Speaker 3: it's not, you know, I mean, it's it's the old
- 11:17Speaker 3: Rush Limbaugh. It's hard to beat Santa Claus exactly exactly.
- 11:21Speaker 3: So that sounds good and may not be good a
- 11:24Speaker 3: pard of me moving briskly. But here's something that sounds
- 11:26Speaker 3: good and is good. And that's an alternative in your
- 11:29Speaker 3: pop culture diet for podcasts, for TV, for shows. And
- 11:33Speaker 3: it's echol because it's clean, it's entertaining, it's good, e kkl,
- 11:38Speaker 3: it's echel. It's the Robertsons of Duck Dynasty fame. And
- 11:41Speaker 3: they said they just figure out ways to expand their
- 11:44Speaker 3: footprint and their brand and their positive impact on America.
- 11:47Speaker 3: They said, you know, how about if we make a
- 11:49Speaker 3: platform where people can come throw down a couple of
- 11:52Speaker 3: bucks and have access to podcasts and movies and shows
- 11:56Speaker 3: that are uplifting, safe for the family, and are very
- 12:00Speaker 3: specifically faith based. Some are just good, clean stories that
- 12:03Speaker 3: don't have a lot of terrible, you know, sex and
- 12:05Speaker 3: overt violence in them. It's Echel e kkol Eckel Streaming.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Check it out at eckel dot com. And we're also
- 12:12Speaker 3: thrilled to welcome Preborn to this family. I mean, Preborn
- 12:16Speaker 3: is such an integral part of the pro life movement
- 12:19Speaker 3: in America and Preborn's philosophy and their process is pretty simple.
- 12:25Speaker 3: For one hundred and forty dollars, if you donate to Preborn,
- 12:28Speaker 3: you'll give five mothers a free ultrasound and guess what
- 12:32Speaker 3: that saves babies. Too. Many mothers who are considering abortion
- 12:36Speaker 3: don't really grasp what's happening and don't recognize that that's
- 12:42Speaker 3: a human life inside of them. Now, with greater access
- 12:46Speaker 3: to telehealth and abortion pills that come in the mail,
- 12:50Speaker 3: abortion is as prevalent as ever. Well, you could support preborn,
- 12:56Speaker 3: because again, their whole philosophy is to give free ultrasound
- 13:00Speaker 3: to girls and women. When a young woman sees her baby,
- 13:04Speaker 3: when a young woman hears her baby's heartbeat, it doubles
- 13:07Speaker 3: the chance that she's going to choose life over aborting
- 13:10Speaker 3: that child. So again, one hundred and forty dollars, you
- 13:13Speaker 3: want to go all in, a fifteen thousand dollars gift
- 13:15Speaker 3: provides an ultrasound machine that is going to save lives
- 13:19Speaker 3: for many years to come. So whether you want to
- 13:21Speaker 3: save one baby or maybe hundreds, you're just a call
- 13:24Speaker 3: or a click away preborn call eight three three eight
- 13:27Speaker 3: five zero baby eight three three eight five zero baby
- 13:31Speaker 3: that's eight three three eight five zero two two two nine,
- 13:35Speaker 3: or you could just go to preborn dot com slash
- 13:38Speaker 3: MM extra preborn dot com slash M M Extra and
- 13:43Speaker 3: Mark we're both thrilled to welcome Preborn to the M
- 13:46Speaker 3: and M Extra.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Absolutely thrilled. It is part of this life saving project
- 13:50Speaker 2: that they're involved with. They're also welcoming women into Christ.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I mean, they're just if they can save a life
- 13:55Speaker 2: for somebody of any faith, they're glad to do it.
- 13:57Speaker 2: So very gospel centered. They're doing that as well. So
- 14:00Speaker 2: thank you, thank you.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Hey Mark, you have you tackled the Max Millard controversy
- 14:05Speaker 3: in Ohio at all.
- 14:06Speaker 2: It's it's so hard because he the stories are so horrible.
- 14:11Speaker 2: He looks like somebody who clearly needs to be kicked
- 14:13Speaker 2: to the curb. He won't do it. It's like I'm
- 14:18Speaker 2: gonna I'm gonna launch my own ethics investigation about myself.
- 14:22Speaker 2: It's just it just looks like self absorption on steroids.
- 14:25Speaker 2: And yet and yet, and yet and yet. I have
- 14:28Speaker 2: a universal thing about accusations and charges. I kind of
- 14:32Speaker 2: put a pin in them. I doesn't mean I disbelieve.
- 14:35Speaker 2: There's a certain skepticism that I try to harbor. I
- 14:37Speaker 2: think that's a good thing. But he just what's what
- 14:40Speaker 2: do you think of happening?
- 14:41Speaker 3: Well, he went on Jake Tapper's show last night on CNN,
- 14:45Speaker 3: and he said something that I thought was pretty profound.
- 14:48Speaker 3: If these charges were true, I'd be behind bars right now.
- 14:52Speaker 3: They would have come and investigated me and arrested me,
- 14:55Speaker 3: he said, CPS Child Protective Services would have had a
- 14:57Speaker 3: full fledged investigation. Here's what I do know. I don't
- 15:01Speaker 3: know what happened between Max Miller and Bernie Marino's daughter.
- 15:06Speaker 3: And that's complicating this even further because I love Bernie Marino,
- 15:10Speaker 3: but the US Senator from Ohio, this guy's former father
- 15:13Speaker 3: in law suddenly has nothing but horrific things to say
- 15:17Speaker 3: about his ex son in law. Now for a couple
- 15:20Speaker 3: of years he was in his life. Now, of course,
- 15:23Speaker 3: Bernie believes that this guy isn't fit to be to
- 15:27Speaker 3: hold office. Here's what I know. This is one thing
- 15:30Speaker 3: that I think is true. We all know stories of ugly, vicious,
- 15:37Speaker 3: contentious divorce everybody. In fact, I can relate to that
- 15:41Speaker 3: in my family. Not me personally, but somebody in my family.
- 15:44Speaker 3: There are ugly divorces where horrible things are said about
- 15:49Speaker 3: the other person, accusations are hurled around. It's always abuse,
- 15:54Speaker 3: by the way, have you ever noticed that? And why
- 15:56Speaker 3: is that? Because you want to do as much damage
- 15:58Speaker 3: as you can, you go to the worst possible accusation.
- 16:01Speaker 3: There can be nothing worse than a legend that a
- 16:04Speaker 3: parent is sexually or physically abusing their own child. And so,
- 16:08Speaker 3: but that's what's always alleged in these ugly divorces. It
- 16:12Speaker 3: always seems to happen that always rears its ugly head.
- 16:15Speaker 3: I'm with you, Mark, I always have that caveat that
- 16:20Speaker 3: accusations aren't necessarily true. And you remember the old mantra.
- 16:26Speaker 3: The me too movement birthed one of the most dangerous
- 16:30Speaker 3: expressions known to mand believe all women. Well, what do
- 16:35Speaker 3: you do when the woman is lying?
- 16:37Speaker 2: This sometimes happens. All women should be heard, they should
- 16:40Speaker 2: be their charges should be evaluated, put under a spotlight
- 16:43Speaker 2: and say, Okay, how credible does this seem? And the
- 16:45Speaker 2: things seem credible and plausible? Okay, you react that way
- 16:48Speaker 2: If they are holes shot through it, like the Duke
- 16:50Speaker 2: lacrosse team in from a story of a few years back,
- 16:52Speaker 2: then maybe it's perfectly not only okay, it's required to
- 16:56Speaker 2: hold out some level of skepticism.
- 16:58Speaker 3: So what does Mike Johnson do? Mark? What does the
- 17:01Speaker 3: speaker do? What does what does the Republican Party do?
- 17:04Speaker 3: Writ large? Here he was last night. Let's share this
- 17:07Speaker 3: with Jake Tapper explaining how House Speaker Mike Johnson's got
- 17:12Speaker 3: my back. They're not telling me to get off the ballot.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Here he was on CNN.
- 17:16Speaker 4: This race is a home race. This isn't about what
- 17:18Speaker 4: the national media thinks. This isn't about what people in
- 17:21Speaker 4: California or New York or Florida think about what goes
- 17:24Speaker 4: on in Ohio seven. What you're going to see here, Jake,
- 17:28Speaker 4: is that I am going to be.
- 17:32Speaker 3: But what I can tell you is.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Your thing is about. This is nothing more than an
- 17:37Speaker 4: individual who's being politically vindictive and talking about a blue bunny.
- 17:41Speaker 4: When I have text messages I can show you from
- 17:43Speaker 4: our parent coordinator, who is a mandatory court reporter, who
- 17:47Speaker 4: said that mister Moreno would be coming over my home.
- 17:50Speaker 4: And then another individual came who I don't know well.
- 17:53Speaker 3: First of once against Congressman you're faulting him for both
- 17:57Speaker 3: not saying anything for two years on to say and
- 18:00Speaker 3: that guy clipped at the end two for some reas,
- 18:02Speaker 3: we in trouble with that clip. For some reis, We're
- 18:03Speaker 3: sorry about that. But he did say you're getting your
- 18:06Speaker 3: faulting your former father in law for not say anything
- 18:09Speaker 3: for two years. Now he's saying something you're faulting in
- 18:11Speaker 3: which one is it? But Mark, again, can you ignore
- 18:15Speaker 3: the very possibility that these are false accusations? How do
- 18:20Speaker 3: you do that?
- 18:21Speaker 2: And no, I can't. It's impossible to know, and that's
- 18:24Speaker 2: frustrating goes. We always we have a part of human
- 18:27Speaker 2: nature where we like to pigeonhole people say, you know what,
- 18:30Speaker 2: that guy strikes me as guilty, he's guilty, or that
- 18:32Speaker 2: guy strikes me as not guilty, so he's got to
- 18:34Speaker 2: be a good guy. Sometimes we're in just the messy
- 18:36Speaker 2: world of I don't know as for Speaker Mike Johnson,
- 18:39Speaker 2: who is this guy is one of the House Republicans.
- 18:41Speaker 2: What do you do? I guess this is why you
- 18:43Speaker 2: have an ethics committee. What kind of investigation could they do?
- 18:46Speaker 2: That's that's not the same as a as a conviction.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Both of those things move at the pace of a glacier.
- 18:51Speaker 2: So there's no satisfying resolution before the election, So there's
- 18:57Speaker 2: no the trade off is going to be unsatisfied. I know,
- 19:00Speaker 2: no matter what. Either keep a guy because we're going
- 19:03Speaker 2: to give him benefit of the doubt and he might
- 19:04Speaker 2: be a monster, or we kick a guy out who
- 19:07Speaker 2: might not deserve it.
- 19:08Speaker 3: So good le well, and I just wonder if what
- 19:13Speaker 3: the I think it's in the voter's hands. That's the
- 19:15Speaker 3: only solution for me. There's a political outcome that the
- 19:19Speaker 3: voters are going to have to decide, and if they
- 19:20Speaker 3: they want to kick him to the curb. I don't
- 19:23Speaker 3: here here's and goodness knows, the last thing I want
- 19:27Speaker 3: to do is defend a guy who might be a monster.
- 19:29Speaker 3: This guy could be a sociopath. And I'm but I
- 19:34Speaker 3: but I also want to make sure everybody understands the
- 19:37Speaker 3: possibility that these are the product of an ugly, contentious, bitter,
- 19:42Speaker 3: nasty divorce. Families get torn apart, people have to take sides.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Bernie Marino is I'm sure the proud dad of this
- 19:49Speaker 3: young woman who's had obviously a terrible road with this guy.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Let the these are this is something CNN shouldn't decide
- 19:57Speaker 3: the outcome of that election. Nope, Max Miller is right.
- 20:00Speaker 3: The voters ought to decide. He gets to make his case.
- 20:03Speaker 3: And you know, look, they couldn't present an alternative point
- 20:07Speaker 3: of view and see what happens.
- 20:08Speaker 2: But is true? Was what you said is exactly true?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Did that the same thing? Shouldn't the same thing have
- 20:14Speaker 2: applied to Gray and Platnir in Maine?
- 20:16Speaker 3: That's exactly right, That's exactly right. So that's that's good
- 20:19Speaker 3: news to know that the voter. This is always good news.
- 20:22Speaker 3: This has been my for years and years. I have
- 20:25Speaker 3: used this message. The voters get to make these decisions.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Don't take that choice out of the voter's hands. I
- 20:35Speaker 3: was looking at the numbers of Abdul, said when the
- 20:38Speaker 3: numbers finally came in and they showed what he won
- 20:41Speaker 3: by now listen to this seven not going back to
- 20:44Speaker 3: this for a moment, but this is what I mean
- 20:45Speaker 3: about votes matter. According to with ninety nine percent in michigananers,
- 20:52Speaker 3: here are the numbers for Michigan. Seven hundred and forty thousand,
- 20:56Speaker 3: nine hundred and fifty votes for Abdul. Else, I need
- 21:01Speaker 3: seven hundred and twenty six thousand, fifty seven votes for
- 21:05Speaker 3: Congresswoman Hayley Stevens. Fourteen thousand votes separates the two of
- 21:10Speaker 3: them in an election in a primaryion and a half
- 21:13Speaker 3: a million and a half people and fourteen thousand votes
- 21:17Speaker 3: made the difference. Now, look, I want to again reiterate,
- 21:20Speaker 3: I'm loving that he won because I think she would
- 21:24Speaker 3: have given Mike Rodgers a run for his money.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Distinctly possible because she looks positively normal against the backdrop,
- 21:30Speaker 2: I could see Democrat voters in Michigan, Michigan now saying
- 21:33Speaker 2: we dodge that bullet. This is a Democrat the way
- 21:35Speaker 2: we used to have Democrats. They're not going to be
- 21:37Speaker 2: comforted by that. They're going to be asked to go
- 21:39Speaker 2: all in for this guy. And as Mike Gallagher says,
- 21:42Speaker 2: I like our chances.
- 21:44Speaker 3: I like our chances. I want to check in on
- 21:46Speaker 3: your chances for relief factor. It's been a while now
- 21:48Speaker 3: with the day or so, and you've been having some improvement.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I hear that's the room will It was all about
- 21:53Speaker 2: rotator cuff stuff, and which I guess is less.
- 21:56Speaker 3: I'm not well.
- 21:58Speaker 2: The jury out for let's say week on that. But
- 22:01Speaker 2: as I said yesterday, what is absolutely happening? That sort
- 22:04Speaker 2: of morning ache and stiffness that you get when you
- 22:06Speaker 2: get out of bed gone. I mean it's not like I,
- 22:09Speaker 2: you know, crawl to the bathroom every morning. It's just
- 22:11Speaker 2: sometimes you get up, you got to kind of shake
- 22:13Speaker 2: it off for about a ten or eleven steps about
- 22:15Speaker 2: a minute or two.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Is like, Yeah, what's going on.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I'm sixty eight years old and I'm just I'm springing
- 22:20Speaker 2: up and I'm not feeling that at all, And the
- 22:22Speaker 2: only other thing that's changed in my life would be
- 22:25Speaker 2: relief factor. So, man, there must be something to this.

- 24:11Speaker 3: I want to tap into the live chat of our YouTube.
- 24:14Speaker 3: A lot of live people in there watching and taking
- 24:17Speaker 3: to the today's Eminem. James asks, Eminem, will you discuss
- 24:22Speaker 3: the mosque in McKinney issue? Now? You're way better suited
- 24:26Speaker 3: than I am to dive into that, so why don't
- 24:28Speaker 3: you tell us what's going on in McKinney text.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I'm going to give you a quick sixty on that.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Here's the nature of the podcast, beast as we started.
- 24:35Speaker 2: You know, a few minutes ago, I said you there
- 24:37Speaker 2: are they're four kind of hardwired things we needed to
- 24:40Speaker 2: get you today because I kind of said it with yesterday.
- 24:42Speaker 2: You know how many we've gotten too, precisely zero zero
- 24:45Speaker 2: zero because you know why, but you know why stuff
- 24:49Speaker 2: number one, there's stuff going on in number two.
- 24:50Speaker 3: It's you and me, right and we just said, yea,
- 24:53Speaker 3: we are Look it's a butterfly. Oh look over, we're
- 24:55Speaker 3: like the add on Stereois kitten with a foil ball,
- 24:58Speaker 3: I know, or the laser point, which is like but
- 25:01Speaker 3: but but can I lovingly suggest something? Can I give
- 25:04Speaker 3: you a program suggestion? Because I know one of the
- 25:06Speaker 3: things you want to talk about are data centers?
- 25:08Speaker 2: But executive executive audible, absolutely no, we have what do
- 25:13Speaker 2: we know what today? We get no we're not going
- 25:14Speaker 2: to do that today at all. No, No, I don't.
- 25:16Speaker 3: I don't. Now let me tell you what I want
- 25:18Speaker 3: to listen to what I'm saying, Chatty caffray. Let me
- 25:20Speaker 3: make my point. Let's I want to do data centers
- 25:23Speaker 3: on Friday. Let's send Friday doing a data center show
- 25:27Speaker 3: because it's a big deal. It's a huge issue, and
- 25:30Speaker 3: I think you know this, this primary week will be
- 25:33Speaker 3: over by Friday. Let's do Friday just on the data centers.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Well with a little asterisk or as they show in Maryland,
- 25:39Speaker 3: aster a attached. Maybe it can be tech Friday, because
- 25:42Speaker 3: we were also going to do flock cameras, going to
- 25:45Speaker 3: do sort of tech big tech Friday or medium tech Friday.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Good so good. So that that got rid of two
- 25:51Speaker 2: of the four, still leaves two. So let me them
- 25:53Speaker 2: just sixty seconds on the Muslim thing in McKinney, and
- 25:56Speaker 2: then there are two. One of them pertains directly to
- 25:58Speaker 2: the sort of the Maxi Miller thing of do you
- 26:01Speaker 2: know he's guilty or not? Godshi, it's actually two things
- 26:03Speaker 2: from the world of sport. We'll get to that in
- 26:05Speaker 2: a second. So McKinney, Texas a crowded city council meeting,
- 26:10Speaker 2: and virtually everybody in there is just screaming against the
- 26:14Speaker 2: approval of a mosque an Islamic center. We're a country
- 26:18Speaker 2: of religious freedom. You can be whatever faith you like.
- 26:21Speaker 2: But the resounding opinion is that this is a political
- 26:24Speaker 2: movement enshrouded in faith, and that while of course there
- 26:28Speaker 2: are people who just read their Qurans and lead their
- 26:30Speaker 2: lives in ways that Allah and Muhammad teach without harm
- 26:34Speaker 2: and a hair on anybody else's head. Yeah, but who
- 26:38Speaker 2: are those and who are the bad ones? The ones
- 26:40Speaker 2: who absolutely do envision Sharia law in our midst the
- 26:43Speaker 2: ones who absolutely are up for honor killings if their daughter,
- 26:46Speaker 2: you know, dates an infidel, The people who are looking
- 26:48Speaker 2: to convert America the way Europe has been converted, the
- 26:51Speaker 2: way Minnesota has been converted, the way dearborn Michigan has
- 26:54Speaker 2: been converted. There are people lining up across Texas to
- 26:57Speaker 2: say not just no, but ll no to that, and
- 26:59Speaker 2: they are an I don't blame them, I don't blame him.
- 27:02Speaker 3: From one minute, well, and you know, I got a
- 27:04Speaker 3: I had a call today from a young Muslim woman
- 27:07Speaker 3: who was just mortified at hearing me it was the
- 27:09Speaker 3: first time I've ever heard the Mike Gallagher show. I'm
- 27:11Speaker 3: a trucker. I can't believe that you're saying things like
- 27:15Speaker 3: not all Muslims are terrorists, but all the terrorists are Muslim.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I can't believe that you're you're mocking the fact that
- 27:22Speaker 3: Abdul el Shalid said last night that that thank you
- 27:26Speaker 3: or that God willing in Islam. She thought I was
- 27:30Speaker 3: being very Islamophobic, and I said, I'm not. I mean,
- 27:33Speaker 3: she said Muslims didn't necessarily have anything to do with
- 27:36Speaker 3: nine to eleven. I think Israel was involved, and I'm like,
- 27:39Speaker 3: this is again click, but these are but these are
- 27:44Speaker 3: the voters, Mark, these are people. She's engaged, she's listening
- 27:47Speaker 3: to a show, she's calling. Here's what's fascinating.
- 27:49Speaker 2: About it for her.
- 27:51Speaker 3: That's what I had to hold her over a break.
- 27:53Speaker 3: You know how that goes when there's a hard break.
- 27:55Speaker 3: And I didn't want to lose her because she had
- 27:56Speaker 3: just started her points. I want to hear her, so
- 27:59Speaker 3: I held her over the break. She was a very articulate,
- 28:02Speaker 3: young Muslim woman, truck driver. Yeah. I get into the
- 28:06Speaker 3: back and forth with her, and it was calm. It
- 28:07Speaker 3: was polite, it was civil. Click, she hung up. She
- 28:11Speaker 3: wouldn't continue. She wouldn't let me ask her about Uria
- 28:14Speaker 3: law whop. She wouldn't allow me ask her about the
- 28:16Speaker 3: nine to eleven hijackers. She stopped talking and then we
- 28:20Speaker 3: couldn't get her back. It's like she decided. And that
- 28:23Speaker 3: was very telling to me because when you confront people
- 28:27Speaker 3: with facts and logic and civility, sometimes when they don't
- 28:31Speaker 3: want to answer, there's your answer. That's the answer right there.
- 28:35Speaker 2: We're going to fast track something. All of these deserve
- 28:37Speaker 2: more time later and they'll never go away. So you
- 28:39Speaker 2: know who Klay Travis is, right out kick and the
- 28:42Speaker 2: show guy. Sure he's really nobody's been better on some
- 28:45Speaker 2: of the WNBA woke transculor nonsense. And he did two things.
- 28:50Speaker 2: He said, listen, if a WNBA doesn't have any biological
- 28:53Speaker 2: man playing in it, so g are they transphobic? What's
- 28:55Speaker 2: up with him? And because we knew if we had
- 28:57Speaker 2: a man. And by the way, have you seen this
- 28:59Speaker 2: French dude who identifies as a woman and just is
- 29:03Speaker 2: like beefy is all get out and if you put
- 29:06Speaker 2: they just score seventy points a game in the WNBA.
- 29:09Speaker 2: So what Klay Travis did. He says, I'm gonna have
- 29:11Speaker 2: an all trans team's gonna be the Nashville Balls, and
- 29:14Speaker 2: they have a logo with all these orange balls just
- 29:16Speaker 2: getting forced fit into this net. It's just hilarious. But
- 29:19Speaker 2: then he moves on to something that he's dead serious about.
- 29:21Speaker 2: He says, give me the WNBA reigning champs, the Las
- 29:24Speaker 2: Vegas Aces. Let me put them on a court against
- 29:27Speaker 2: the high school boys team of my choice, and if
- 29:30Speaker 2: the WNBA team wins, I'll give you ten million dollars crickets.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Wells, here's the part of this that amazes me that
- 29:40Speaker 3: I know he's successful and God bless him. He's got
- 29:43Speaker 3: ten million dollars laying around that he can burn through.
- 29:46Speaker 2: He don't need no ten million dollars.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Well, he of them?
- 29:50Speaker 2: What if they because because the boys team go and
- 29:52Speaker 2: beat that Las Vegas Ace is like a drum.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Well, then he gives the ten million to the boys team.
- 29:56Speaker 2: No no, no, no, no, no, no no no.
- 29:58Speaker 3: I think he gives the ten million.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Do no, it's not ten million to the winner. No no, no,
- 30:02Speaker 2: it's it's to prove are you sure?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Oh?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Absolute hundred percent?
- 30:07Speaker 3: I thought it was ten million to the winner, and
- 30:09Speaker 3: he was going to go because it would benefit the
- 30:10Speaker 3: boys team and then it'd be great.
- 30:12Speaker 2: No, it's approved the point. If if the WNBA team wins,
- 30:16Speaker 2: we give them ten million dollars, the boys team would
- 30:18Speaker 2: certainly get fame of the moment. He'll probably throw them.
- 30:20Speaker 3: But it's a girl. But if the WNBA team won,
- 30:22Speaker 3: he'd give them ten million dollars.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Ten million dollars. He'll never have to pay because they'll
- 30:26Speaker 2: never accept the challenge. So Sophie Cunningham of the Indiana Favor,
- 30:31Speaker 2: Caitlin Clark's teammate, has dared to say, I don't think
- 30:35Speaker 2: men should be playing against women. She's been come quite
- 30:37Speaker 2: the darling on that point. Here's my question to you
- 30:40Speaker 2: about this, Caitlyn Clark, who's the best team in the
- 30:42Speaker 2: best player in the league, best player in league history.
- 30:45Speaker 2: She is despised because she's both white and straight. Double
- 30:48Speaker 2: double dogma there, double stigma. But here somebody asked her
- 30:52Speaker 2: about that. Caitlin Clark asked her about the men and
- 30:54Speaker 2: women's sports thing, and her answer was, well, you know,
- 30:58Speaker 2: the league's got to figure out policies to take care
- 31:00Speaker 2: of that. I'm just trying to win games. Okay, she
- 31:03Speaker 2: got she got absolutely torched and it drove me insane.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Megan Kelly and I like her and don't like her
- 31:10Speaker 2: depending on what day it is, you know, Coward Matt Walsh,
- 31:13Speaker 2: who I really love it?
- 31:15Speaker 3: Coward?
- 31:16Speaker 2: Shut up? She just doesn't want to get stabbed in
- 31:18Speaker 2: the parking lot. I love the Warriors, I love the
- 31:21Speaker 2: Riley Gaineses, but not everybody has to live life that way?
- 31:25Speaker 2: Am I right about?
- 31:26Speaker 4: This?
- 31:27Speaker 2: Is caatelincclark a gutless, spineless shame for not using this
- 31:31Speaker 2: opportunity to pick up her own bullhorn. We're the ones
- 31:34Speaker 2: who say, shut up and dribble. That's what she wants
- 31:36Speaker 2: to do.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Well, And you know who else is in hot water
- 31:39Speaker 3: as we get ready to say goodbye for a Wednesday?
- 31:42Speaker 3: Tom Sellick, Tom Sellick, Well, Tom Shellick was interviewed and
- 31:47Speaker 3: they asked him about Trump and he said, you know what,
- 31:50Speaker 3: I'm in the business of entertaining. You know, I'm a
- 31:52Speaker 3: conservative and I'm a Republican, but I'm not going to
- 31:54Speaker 3: stick my neck out right now. Why would I piss
- 31:57Speaker 3: off fifty percent of my my bass? It's all he said.
- 32:02Speaker 3: And then they went after him with pitchforks and towards
- 32:04Speaker 3: silence complicity. Oh you're so, you're not you're you're maga,
- 32:08Speaker 3: but you won't say it. That's that side is going
- 32:09Speaker 3: after him, and then the Trump side is going after
- 32:11Speaker 3: him because he's not enthusiastically supporting Donald Trump. It's, by
- 32:16Speaker 3: the way, speaking of kids, speaking of calling an audible.
- 32:20Speaker 3: You're being called out by not only Tracy and others.
- 32:23Speaker 3: But I think you're mistaken. I think he's offering the
- 32:26Speaker 3: ten million to the winner of the game between the
- 32:28Speaker 3: hypothetical boys championship team and the WNBA. I think you're wrong.
- 32:32Speaker 2: If so, great, then your question stands you could be right,
- 32:38Speaker 2: could be right. I really don't think so, but I
- 32:41Speaker 2: could be wrong. We'll we'll find that out. Now here's
- 32:43Speaker 2: my here's my last thing, literal, last thing that I
- 32:45Speaker 2: can't get out of my head. CBS has suspended Tony Romo.
- 32:49Speaker 2: This takes us back to Maxi Miller, where we don't know,
- 32:51Speaker 2: we don't know, we don't know. Is that a CBS
- 32:53Speaker 2: saying we know he's lying and we know he was drunk.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Some people think they're just looking for a way to
- 32:59Speaker 2: get out of that huge That's right because they don't
- 33:01Speaker 2: think Tony Romo is that great anymore. In that case,
- 33:04Speaker 2: isn't this horrible what they've done to him? If he
- 33:06Speaker 2: wasn't drunk, the suspension is just. And they're saying he's
- 33:09Speaker 2: suspended indefinitely. I mean it sounds like they are done.
- 33:13Speaker 2: A lot of people are saying, hey, what happened to
- 33:15Speaker 2: due process? Due process doesn't apply. This is not a
- 33:18Speaker 2: court of law. They're not throwing him in jails. Private,
- 33:21Speaker 2: private companies can do just about whatever they want if
- 33:24Speaker 2: they feel the brand has been adversely affected. But I'm
- 33:26Speaker 2: just and drunk driving is so important and I think
- 33:29Speaker 2: we're too soft about it as a society. But the
- 33:32Speaker 2: way the CBS suspension of him just bugs me.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Here's the bottom line. You've got no say in this.
- 33:40Speaker 3: I've gotten no say in this. The audience has no
- 33:43Speaker 3: say in this. This is between CBS and Tony Romo.
- 33:46Speaker 3: And this is something that has always frustrated audiences of
- 33:50Speaker 3: hosts who have either been fired or suspended. You know,
- 33:53Speaker 3: you know the old radio rule. If you get shown
- 33:56Speaker 3: the door, you never get to say a farewell show.
- 33:59Speaker 3: And the reason that is the company doesn't want to
- 34:01Speaker 3: let you get on the air and say things that
- 34:03Speaker 3: are going to be, you know, injurious to the company
- 34:07Speaker 3: that has employed you. This is a complete strictly between
- 34:12Speaker 3: CBS and Tony Rommel. I've seen the same stuff that
- 34:14Speaker 3: you've seen in the trades that they feel like. The
- 34:17Speaker 3: contract that they gave him was he was in the
- 34:20Speaker 3: driver's seat at the time. He was apparently being lured
- 34:22Speaker 3: by I think Fox or ESPN, but there was a
- 34:25Speaker 3: bidding war. He got everything he wanted in this deal
- 34:28Speaker 3: that is giving him a gazillion dollars. It's like eighteen
- 34:31Speaker 3: dollars a year for a ten year contract. Who gets
- 34:35Speaker 3: a ten year contract in our business? TV, radio, broadcast
- 34:39Speaker 3: any of it? So I think it's probably a way.
- 34:42Speaker 3: He does have a morals clause. Apparently the morals clause
- 34:45Speaker 3: did include what he experienced, something I always worried about.
- 34:49Speaker 3: With morals clauses, you just get charged. You can be
- 34:51Speaker 3: shown the door contractually, and that's in everybody's deal. So
- 34:55Speaker 3: I think that. But again the frustrating part, I know
- 34:58Speaker 3: it's unsatisfying. We got no say in this. It's none
- 35:00Speaker 3: of our It's when I say it's none of our business,
- 35:03Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 35:04Speaker 2: I mean it's I know, talking about Mitch McConnell or
- 35:07Speaker 2: Darlene Graham. You're not in South Carolina. But we were
- 35:10Speaker 2: human beings, we got opinions. We are voted for politicians.
- 35:14Speaker 2: That's a different story. Our audience includes South Carolinians. We
- 35:17Speaker 2: can talk about Kentuckians who vote. You've got no vote
- 35:20Speaker 2: in Tony Romo's status as a CBS so we totally
- 35:23Speaker 2: get that.
- 35:23Speaker 3: But you know, it's fun.
- 35:25Speaker 2: But you don't have to have a talk show or
- 35:26Speaker 2: a podcast to step out and comment when you think
- 35:28Speaker 2: a company has done wrong or a company has done right.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I'll tell you some people in our company and who
- 35:34Speaker 2: have done right. And that as Tracy and Yasmin. While
- 35:36Speaker 2: you were talking, I was grocking one hundred percent. And
- 35:39Speaker 2: this makes it even better now I think it might
- 35:41Speaker 2: actually happen. I don't know if the ten million is
- 35:44Speaker 2: to the winner. It's not just hey Wnba. If you win,
- 35:47Speaker 2: you get the ten mill and a pad on the
- 35:48Speaker 2: head for the high school boys. He will absolutely it's funny,
- 35:52Speaker 2: he says. If a high school boys team wins, he'll
- 35:55Speaker 2: give them the ten million to distribute among the players
- 35:58Speaker 2: as they see fit.
- 36:00Speaker 3: That's because there's gonna be a lot of problems giving
- 36:02Speaker 3: fourteen year old kids a million dollars each or whatever. Wrong. Yeah,
- 36:05Speaker 3: nothing can go wrong with that.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Lose it on DraftKings by good.
- 36:09Speaker 3: That's right, good plan, Clay. But here's what. But here's
- 36:12Speaker 3: what's interesting. The reason that's a perfect scenario. You know,
- 36:15Speaker 3: there's a high boys thank you, thank you, thank you
- 36:17Speaker 3: for the for the you know, there's a boys high
- 36:19Speaker 3: school team out there who's going to jump at the opportunity.
- 36:22Speaker 3: And if the WNBA, the Jazz or the whatever the laws,
- 36:26Speaker 3: if they turn it down, they look like cowards. They're
- 36:29Speaker 3: big chickens. All right, let's fly away. My friend will
- 36:32Speaker 3: do it again tomorrow, shall we already? Eminem extra I
- 36:35Speaker 3: like it, subscribe to it, we love you, we appreciate it,
- 36:37Speaker 3: and break a leg on Scott Jennings. We'll see you tomorrow. Everybody,
- 36:40Speaker 3: thank you,
