- 1:29Speaker 3: Son of a Boy Dad is presented by high Noon. Look,
- 1:33Speaker 3: we are in that awesome sweet spot, trying to squeeze
- 1:37Speaker 3: out the last few drops of summer, and I gotta
- 1:40Speaker 3: tell you, nothing goes better with one of those sort
- 1:43Speaker 3: of twilight rounds of golf, or a nice BBQ or
- 1:48Speaker 3: a pool day or at the beach, then a ice
- 1:51Speaker 3: cold high noon.
- 1:53Speaker 1: You can get them at the baseball game too. Now,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I don't know if people are mentioning this. I have
- 1:56Speaker 1: a baseball game circled and I'm also counting that as
- 1:59Speaker 1: a date with high Noon.
- 2:01Speaker 5: It's going to be real vodka. I'm a vodka guy.
- 2:04Speaker 5: You could also go with the tequila and.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's gonna have no maltenate and you will be able
- 2:09Speaker 1: to taste that difference every single time. You will taste
- 2:12Speaker 1: a difference. Real vodka, real juice, low calorie count, incredible flavors,
- 2:18Speaker 1: drinkability out the wazoo. I'm quite comfidable.
- 2:21Speaker 3: You're not wrong. I mean it's something about how it's
- 2:25Speaker 3: not that sugary malt based drinks that you know, just
- 2:29Speaker 3: make you feel awful. It's light, crisp and refreshing, and
- 2:34Speaker 3: it drinks so much better than those. It's made with
- 2:37Speaker 3: real vodka, real juice and no artificial ass after taste.
- 2:40Speaker 3: And I'm talking no artificial aftertaste clean. I love Heinian,
- 2:46Speaker 3: We love Heinan.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm so excited to have them on as a
- 2:50Speaker 5: as a partner on the show.
- 2:51Speaker 1: But just I'm drinking them regardless.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Absolutely. All of this is huge for us because my
- 2:56Speaker 3: favorite flavor, which is peach okay, is now a available
- 3:01Speaker 3: in single flavor eight packs, so we're not gonna have
- 3:05Speaker 3: to fight you and me, what's your favorite flavor?
- 3:06Speaker 1: I'm a pineapple man. They already have the eight pack
- 3:09Speaker 1: of pineapple right here. But you know, I'm pretty malleable good.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Well even if I mean it sounds like we wouldn't
- 3:15Speaker 3: have a problem, you and I. But if we did
- 3:17Speaker 3: like the same flavor, we wouldn't have to fight for
- 3:20Speaker 3: the last peach or pineapple in the pack. Make sure
- 3:25Speaker 3: to visit high Noonspirits dot com to find a high
- 3:29Speaker 3: noon near you.
- 3:36Speaker 5: All righty, welcome back to the Son of a Boy
- 3:38Speaker 5: Dat podcast Today. It is August seventeenth, it is one
- 3:42Speaker 5: thirty pm, and we are here live from h Q three.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Welcome backs, Roan, looks like you have regained full functionality
- 3:49Speaker 5: in your knee. I'm going to be in When are
- 3:51Speaker 5: we going to lose the brace? Because now it seems
- 3:52Speaker 5: a little performative.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I'm going to be in the rockets before you know it.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Should I just take it off now?
- 3:56Speaker 5: No? No, no, because I got a feeling if you
- 3:58Speaker 5: take it off, it's all like flaky and sit under there.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a withered like grandmother willow up branch.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Did you sleep with it on?
- 4:06Speaker 1: No? No, I mub it off. Just having the brace
- 4:10Speaker 1: and no boxers as naked and it would be a
- 4:15Speaker 1: good look. Francis, welcome back, brother. We missed you like
- 4:17Speaker 1: crazy last week.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Yeah, missed you guys for sure. I saw some of
- 4:23Speaker 3: the warm Mode episode and I want to just kind
- 4:27Speaker 3: of clarify this whole Bohemian Grove situation. First of all,
- 4:33Speaker 3: you both completely misrepresented me to our friends. You're like
- 4:38Speaker 3: Francis's dad goes all the time, I said, my dad
- 4:41Speaker 3: went once and recently. Secondly, my take was I don't
- 4:46Speaker 3: think they're killing and eating children. I think it's just gay,
- 4:50Speaker 3: which is exactly what war Mode said. And so you
- 4:55Speaker 3: guys were like, but Francis, is.
- 4:57Speaker 5: You're hoping it was going to be something more. They
- 5:00Speaker 5: they really said exactly what you said.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yes, ye, yes, I wanted to turn into like your
- 5:06Speaker 1: they discover that you're like a like a CIA operative,
- 5:10Speaker 1: or that you had your fingerprints on some kind of
- 5:13Speaker 1: like assassination of or like the Bay of Pigs or
- 5:15Speaker 1: some shit.
- 5:16Speaker 3: The sad part of this is is that I wanted
- 5:19Speaker 3: to be that and I didn't. I wasn't good enough.
- 5:23Speaker 3: I failed at that. So now I'm here talking to
- 5:26Speaker 3: you guys about bullshit all the time, and yet everyone
- 5:29Speaker 3: still accuses me of being some like deep state you
- 5:33Speaker 3: know I am. I wasn't good enough. You got to
- 5:36Speaker 3: actually know your shit to do that.
- 5:38Speaker 1: There's no way a deep state guy's going to come
- 5:41Speaker 1: onto the podcast and be like, and I'm in it.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I'm in the deep state now and I'm part of it.
- 5:45Speaker 1: This would be exactly what they would say, This would
- 5:47Speaker 1: be the place.
- 5:48Speaker 3: It would be what they would say, however, they wouldn't
- 5:51Speaker 3: be here.
- 5:52Speaker 5: What do they say? Like I saw a clip of
- 5:54Speaker 5: Shane talking about it on Rogan.
- 5:55Speaker 3: What is it like?
- 5:56Speaker 5: It's like a CIA disformation. It's like see I plants
- 6:00Speaker 5: that are supposed to come in and be like counterintelligence,
- 6:03Speaker 5: Like no, like people that are like go in there
- 6:06Speaker 5: in the CIA, but then they just like tell a bunch.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Of lies, disinformation artists, artist of disguis.
- 6:11Speaker 5: But so you could be that.
- 6:14Speaker 3: I'm the most honest, like I shared way too much.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's like good, It's just a good cover story.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It's just like a brilliant story. It's just a perfectly
- 6:24Speaker 1: crafted cover story.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Travel a lot.
- 6:27Speaker 5: We might have to get fucking I gotta go on
- 6:29Speaker 5: the road. We might have to get Danny to follow
- 6:32Speaker 5: you around for a week. Who's Conrad?
- 6:35Speaker 1: He'll do like a personal investigation in the shadows. He's
- 6:39Speaker 1: gonna catch you under the Brooklyn Bridge meeting with some
- 6:41Speaker 1: guys in trench coat the Falcon Flash at midnight?
- 6:46Speaker 3: Is Danny Conrad? What does he do?
- 6:48Speaker 5: He does like little like uh like like documentary style
- 6:52Speaker 5: following people around like he's doing it with Dante Dante
- 6:55Speaker 5: the doc which is great, but he he'll follow you
- 6:59Speaker 5: from a distance fair enough and really find out if
- 7:02Speaker 5: you're if you have like a layer that opens up
- 7:04Speaker 5: underneath the Manhattan Bridge where you drive out in Ashton
- 7:08Speaker 5: Martin getting the high speed chases and ship I'm imagining
- 7:11Speaker 5: you like going down into the subway station with Roan
- 7:13Speaker 5: and then like you get off and then you like
- 7:15Speaker 5: get back on.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Hand them a bag without saying anything. We walked pasta
- 7:21Speaker 3: follow the bag, Follow the bag.
- 7:24Speaker 1: That would be great, hurt such a good cover story,
- 7:28Speaker 1: it would.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Man, how was it?
- 7:30Speaker 1: Where?
- 7:31Speaker 3: So?
- 7:31Speaker 1: How was the I mean, without telling us any of
- 7:34Speaker 1: the things. You can't tell us. How's your trip?
- 7:36Speaker 3: It was great. It's the coolest tournament in the world.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I'm very excited for people to see it. I don't
- 7:45Speaker 3: I can't talk about it. I really just don't want
- 7:48Speaker 3: to talk about it at all. I don't want to.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I don't trust myself to like not indicate Yeah yeah,
- 7:54Speaker 3: yeah so, but I but it's people are gonna.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Even trim this down a little bit, honestly.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Well, well, I said it's the coolest tournament in the world,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and Sassine Hall was doing Call of Duty tournaments.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I know, you took that personally, you're talking
- 8:10Speaker 5: about the e w CCS two tournament.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It sounded like a blast.
- 8:18Speaker 3: It was great, it was awesome the people there. I'm excited.
- 8:22Speaker 3: We'll talk at length about it when when it comes out.
- 8:25Speaker 3: But dude, last night. So I got home on Friday
- 8:30Speaker 3: and I crashed, and then I went to my buddies
- 8:36Speaker 3: had a like his wife set up like a surprise
- 8:38Speaker 3: birthday party for him in the Hampton's and I went
- 8:42Speaker 3: out there on Saturday. I'm not a Hampton's guy at all.
- 8:45Speaker 3: You just know me talk. No, that's Hampton's to me. Yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 3: At this point, tries to draw any distinction between Montalk
- 8:53Speaker 3: and the Hamptons. Is fucking I was just it is
- 8:57Speaker 3: way further. But like you would have are argued back
- 9:00Speaker 3: in the day that like Montalk is this charming fishing
- 9:03Speaker 3: village that's down to earth, whereas the Hamptons are like
- 9:06Speaker 3: the glitzy, glamour old money. Yeah, not a chance anymore.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Montalk is just as wealthy as the Hamptons. But and
- 9:13Speaker 3: like Klubby and scene, yeah yeah, but you know, you
- 9:18Speaker 3: know me, I'm not a Hampton's guy. I'm a I'm upstate.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You're upstate, right, you know the ins and outs of
- 9:23Speaker 1: it perfectly. But you're not a Hampton's guy.
- 9:25Speaker 3: You're just one or the other. And I like to
- 9:28Speaker 3: strap them on a flannel and cut down trees and
- 9:31Speaker 3: have cozy fires.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Get the hands dirty, yeah, tap a tree and catch
- 9:35Speaker 5: like some maple syrup into.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I want my hands and fingers. I want them stuck together.
- 9:41Speaker 3: I want webbed fingers, sap covered in sap. Yeah, little sap,
- 9:47Speaker 3: little sap, squatch. But I went out there and then
- 9:55Speaker 3: spent the night. We had a great time. She set
- 9:57Speaker 3: up this really, like hired a blackjack dealer where we
- 10:01Speaker 3: played for prizes, which was super cool and the prizes
- 10:04Speaker 3: were awesome.
- 10:05Speaker 5: Oh that's fun. So it's like no steaks, like low steaks.
- 10:08Speaker 5: I guess this is not money you can't lose. Correct,
- 10:12Speaker 5: that's fun.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Well, I've honestly for a while I've been searching for
- 10:15Speaker 5: that of money free casino. I think it would be
- 10:20Speaker 5: a blast. Go just play roulette for fucking six hours.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but like when you do, I've done that at
- 10:26Speaker 3: like company retreats sometimes still have that, and it's the
- 10:29Speaker 3: most boring thing in the world.
- 10:30Speaker 5: I could see it being fun for like an hour.
- 10:32Speaker 3: You need something, but a prize. A prize is great.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Prize is great. Yeah, but when usually when you go
- 10:40Speaker 3: to those box three, they're like they're like, all right,
- 10:42Speaker 3: here's your fifty thousand and chips.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Yeah, and you're like, I wish if I was at
- 10:47Speaker 5: a real casino.
- 10:48Speaker 3: And I'm like, all right, much money all in on
- 10:51Speaker 3: the first hand, Oh no, it landed on black. Can
- 10:54Speaker 3: I have another fifty thousand?
- 10:55Speaker 1: All right?
- 10:57Speaker 3: Here you go.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Yeah, You're like, all right, well, I do love the
- 11:01Speaker 5: prize system, though.
- 11:02Speaker 3: The prize system was awesome.
- 11:03Speaker 5: You're looking for a Dave and Busters, a Dave and
- 11:06Speaker 5: Busters for but with like better games, because if you
- 11:09Speaker 5: go to a Dave and Busters now the games are
- 11:10Speaker 5: really bad and not fun.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I want a really really nice box of cigars.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Ooh, and that's a great prize.
- 11:18Speaker 3: It was a great part. It was the fourth place prize.
- 11:20Speaker 3: What was first dinner at per Se for two? Wow?
- 11:24Speaker 1: Per Se is a top restaurant of course, of course,
- 11:27Speaker 1: how many.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Stars free, although they might have just gotten demoted to
- 11:32Speaker 3: two for the first time. It's Thomas Keller's restaurant here
- 11:35Speaker 3: in New York. It's fancy, it's expensive as hell.
- 11:38Speaker 1: It's not bib Gourmont. It's actual stars.
- 11:40Speaker 3: So do you get that?
- 11:41Speaker 5: Is the whole meal paid for? Or is it just
- 11:44Speaker 5: the reservation?
- 11:45Speaker 3: No, the whole meal is what good whatever?
- 11:48Speaker 5: It's hard to get a reservation.
- 11:50Speaker 3: I don't think it's that hard.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but is it? And is it harder than a
- 11:52Speaker 1: box of cigars? Like that? Can't be the first place prize, just.
- 11:56Speaker 5: The just the reservation.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Think of this dinner at per sees like twelve hundred
- 12:00Speaker 3: bucks for two people.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Really?
- 12:02Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:03Speaker 5: Then solid bride.
- 12:04Speaker 3: The second prize was a like really nice bottle of
- 12:08Speaker 3: Old Weller whiskey, and then third place I think was
- 12:13Speaker 3: like some really sick Tomahawk and Wagu steaks, and then
- 12:20Speaker 3: fourth was the cigar.
- 12:22Speaker 5: I think cigars might be the top for me.
- 12:24Speaker 3: It was what I wanted this steak.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Ye cigars anyway, how many cigars are we talking here?
- 12:29Speaker 3: Six? We can smoke them? Yeah, we can do them here,
- 12:35Speaker 3: six of us in this room right now. You better
- 12:37Speaker 3: finish them.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I smoked a cigar this weekend.
- 12:40Speaker 3: You better smoke it all the way down to the tip. Yeah.
- 12:42Speaker 5: I smoked a cigar with old levee, old levee boy. Yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 5: of course I smoked him in it, and he was like,
- 12:50Speaker 5: it's not a race. You're supposed to enjoy it. And
- 12:51Speaker 5: I said, it's always a race. He's right, he's not.
- 12:59Speaker 5: It's always a it's always really Yeah, even if it's
- 13:03Speaker 5: I think it's a reverse race. It's like, it's not
- 13:06Speaker 5: a race, but it is a race. Like if I'm
- 13:08Speaker 5: if I'm beating him by I would say ten drags.
- 13:13Speaker 5: That's that goes to show. That's like, that shows your
- 13:16Speaker 5: character who you are.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I think it's like an eternal flame type of situation.
- 13:20Speaker 1: It's the longer you can make it last.
- 13:22Speaker 5: No, that's when you go for a second cigar.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Correct, two cigars is always too greedy, and then.
- 13:28Speaker 3: You can try to lap someone exactly and then if
- 13:30Speaker 3: you lap them, you get the rest of it. Take
- 13:34Speaker 3: it from them.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot that rule anyway.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Okay, so I'm coming home this yesterday. I stayed out
- 13:43Speaker 3: there Saturday night, hung out on Sunday for a bit
- 13:47Speaker 3: during the day, and then I'm driving home on Sunday
- 13:51Speaker 3: and I stopped to go see The Odyssey by myself.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Oh, no spoilers, I'm seeing it on Thursday.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Are you not familiar with the ad because it's now
- 14:01Speaker 3: pretty close to what happens.
- 14:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Yeah, of course in the book we were forced to read.
- 14:05Speaker 5: I was not forced to read it. Okay, but what
- 14:08Speaker 5: did you see at forty x seventy milimeters?
- 14:10Speaker 3: Are we talking? I saw Imax, really just Imax, not
- 14:13Speaker 3: not in forty milimeters seventy millimeter, and I'll tell you
- 14:17Speaker 3: what it was. So the movie was so loud in
- 14:19Speaker 3: the Imax theater that I spent no less than ninety
- 14:22Speaker 3: percent of the movie covering my ear.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Wait where were you sitting in the in the theater?
- 14:26Speaker 1: Were you right by the the speaker?
- 14:29Speaker 3: I was in the handicap assistant seat.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Wait, so was that and you're right next to the fucking.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I must have been. It was so loud that I
- 14:40Speaker 3: was like, it was distracting.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Hurting my hurt your should It hurts your shoulders so loud.
- 14:45Speaker 5: If you guys both saw it.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I didn't see it with him, but I saw it
- 14:48Speaker 1: in Imax in the handicap robe, I literally there was
- 14:51Speaker 1: only like two seats left. I got the handicap from
- 14:53Speaker 1: my wife and I was in a wheelchair for mine.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I pulled up in a wheelchair bed with I.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Didn't think about that where'd you get a wheelchair?
- 15:02Speaker 1: I had to rent a wheelchair, rented a wheelchair. I
- 15:05Speaker 1: rented a wheelchair for a day.
- 15:06Speaker 5: You rent it from the theater.
- 15:07Speaker 1: No, I rented it from a wheelchair company.
- 15:10Speaker 3: How much did those round?
- 15:11Speaker 1: One hundred and fifty bucks?
- 15:13Speaker 3: What the hell? It's an expensive movie, and.
- 15:14Speaker 1: It's and we had to return it the next day,
- 15:16Speaker 1: and it sat in the lobby of my building for
- 15:18Speaker 1: three days while the wheelchair company waited to pick it up.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I could have been whipping around town in a wheelchair.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Could have seen a lot of movies.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I could have been, I could have got I could
- 15:26Speaker 1: have memorized the Odyssey by now right. It was so
- 15:29Speaker 1: loud though.
- 15:30Speaker 3: It was unbelievably loud and uncomfortable. My shoulders hurt from
- 15:34Speaker 3: having my hands above my ears the whole time.
- 15:36Speaker 1: It hurts your shoulders.
- 15:37Speaker 3: It wasn't good, but the movie was good. I did
- 15:40Speaker 3: really like.
- 15:40Speaker 5: The movie and enjoying a little autistic kid huh yeah yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 5: plugging your ears, rocking back and forth.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I don't like loud noise, eating.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Nerds rope like spaghetti, like a plate of spaghetti, slurping
- 15:54Speaker 1: down a single nerd rod.
- 15:55Speaker 3: It's also kind of unfair that they subject the handicapped
- 15:59Speaker 3: people to being blasted with the loudest noise. Where should
- 16:03Speaker 3: we put the speakers, Oh well, they're already not walking around.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Let's just make them deaf too. By the way, a
- 16:10Speaker 3: person did come in in a wheelchair next to me,
- 16:13Speaker 3: but fortunately the person their their sort of companion handler,
- 16:18Speaker 3: was to the right of them, whereas I was to
- 16:20Speaker 3: the left.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Very nice, That's lucky.
- 16:22Speaker 3: It was lucky.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Was it packed?
- 16:24Speaker 3: This person was also on a respirator, so whenever the
- 16:27Speaker 3: movie was quiet enough, which wasn't much, I had to
- 16:30Speaker 3: listen to the dialogue over.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Man Rader next to you.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, look, you know, the whole experience was
- 16:39Speaker 3: a feast of sounds that I did not find palatable.
- 16:42Speaker 5: But did you like the movie?
- 16:44Speaker 3: I liked the movie visually stunning.
- 16:47Speaker 5: About what about the story and all that you should
- 16:50Speaker 5: have put wax in your ears on it should have.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Like I'm getting to the point where I'm like it's
- 16:55Speaker 5: been out for a while. I feel like the hype
- 16:56Speaker 5: has kind of died down a bit. I'm wondering, if
- 16:59Speaker 5: I just say it for home, you.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Should see it in the theater?
- 17:03Speaker 5: Is it is it as good as people were making
- 17:05Speaker 5: it out to be in the beginning.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Or is it a little bit slow? No, I think
- 17:09Speaker 3: it's I don't think. I didn't find it slow at all.
- 17:12Speaker 1: But if you had to critique it, If I had.
- 17:15Speaker 3: To critique it, it's that Travis Scott.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Isn't it almost? I would say, is he?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Oh?
- 17:22Speaker 3: He does? Yeah, I guess now I understand who he
- 17:25Speaker 3: was the black character. Yeah, an interesting casting choice. No,
- 17:36Speaker 3: But if I had to critique it, I would say that.
- 17:39Speaker 3: You know, with other stories that Christopher Nolan has taken on,
- 17:43Speaker 3: he's had so much license to sort of do his
- 17:46Speaker 3: cool shit where he like weaves in and out of
- 17:49Speaker 3: timelines and stuff like that. The Odyssey is so known
- 17:53Speaker 3: as a story that he I felt like he was
- 17:58Speaker 3: handcuffed to a degree too, how well known this story.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Yes he did.
- 18:03Speaker 5: He wasn't letting loose.
- 18:04Speaker 3: He couldn't like if you think about the way that
- 18:07Speaker 3: he chose to do Oppenheimer so good, told through these
- 18:10Speaker 3: like trials backwards and then whatever. I mean, that was
- 18:15Speaker 3: so cool.
- 18:16Speaker 5: That's top five for me.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Easy movie ever.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I liked it better than Oppenheimer.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Really, you liked better than You're big on the Odyssey.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I thought it was really good, but I agree that
- 18:28Speaker 1: it Likepenheimer, Yeah, I thought that that was a little bit.
- 18:32Speaker 1: It just didn't have the excitement that I was looking for. Whoa.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I mean, you know, if you know what happens in
- 18:37Speaker 1: The Odyssey, you know what happens in Oppenheimer, like you.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Is shocking you. But he didn't like The Dark Knight either.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I love the Dark Knight. Dark Knight's incredible, but like
- 18:49Speaker 1: the Dark Knight unfolds in front of.
- 18:51Speaker 5: You, Oppenheimer was. I mean, I don't think I've enjoyed
- 18:55Speaker 5: a movie that much in a decade.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but you were you were still drinking at the
- 19:00Speaker 1: and you were just.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Not of Oppenheimer. You were I was on the k already.
- 19:04Speaker 3: You were.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You were so fraud at the time. You're on the
- 19:08Speaker 1: Kuji so heavy. I think that I agree that in
- 19:12Speaker 1: both of them, you're kind of locked into the story. Yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 1: and if Quentin Tarantino had directed The Odyssey, Odysseus would
- 19:21Speaker 1: have killed Hitler at the end. Yeah, you know, they
- 19:24Speaker 1: have been able to have but it was a little
- 19:29Speaker 1: bit like.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Would have been tran tran half away.
- 19:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Wait, so what are you?
- 19:37Speaker 1: What? What?
- 19:38Speaker 5: What is like a good movie for you, Like, what's
- 19:41Speaker 5: like a great like, what's like your favorite movie.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I just said I liked it better than the movie.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I didn't say Oppenheimer is a bad movie.
- 19:46Speaker 5: Yeah, but you're kind of like like, I'm waiting for
- 19:48Speaker 5: one of you guys to be like the Odyssey was
- 19:50Speaker 5: unbelievable and neither I thought it was unbelievable. Yeah, I
- 19:53Speaker 5: thought it was unbelievable. But are you just saying that
- 19:55Speaker 5: because I just I just said I was waiting for
- 19:57Speaker 5: someone to say, there's.
- 19:58Speaker 1: A Mexican in the wheelchair movie? Who say, who's in
- 20:01Speaker 1: the wheelchair road? That next to me? Who said? Afterwards?
- 20:03Speaker 1: Best movie since Dark Knight is what he said?
- 20:07Speaker 5: You must have not seen Appenheimer.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I thought it was. I thought it was
- 20:13Speaker 3: Joe Barbie. I thought it was really good, really really good.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I really did it.
- 20:21Speaker 5: I just knew the story so well.
- 20:24Speaker 3: I wrote papers on the Odyssey. Yeah, yeah, so I
- 20:26Speaker 3: had like I.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Knew it's so watching Harry Potter.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I was not surprised by anything said therefore, I just
- 20:34Speaker 3: enjoyed the visuals and.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You don't know the stories. It's gonna knock your socks. Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 1: I feel like not knowing the story would make it incredible.
- 20:42Speaker 5: So you both felt that way.
- 20:44Speaker 1: That's like watching Oppenheimer and being like, did civilization end
- 20:48Speaker 1: with the nuclear bomb?
- 20:50Speaker 3: Like do they do they complete it? Do the Nazis
- 20:52Speaker 3: get at first? By the way, I did not know.
- 20:54Speaker 3: You say we knew the story of Oppenheimer. I didn't
- 20:56Speaker 3: know the story of I didn't.
- 20:57Speaker 5: Say that said that.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I said that. I mean we know that we know
- 21:00Speaker 1: winds up working.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Yeah, true, but like we don't know what Oppenheim. I
- 21:04Speaker 3: didn't know much anything about Oppenheim.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Now, God that I might have to rewatch that again,
- 21:10Speaker 5: just watch.
- 21:10Speaker 1: The Odyssey first, to just go to the Odyssey. Then, well, now,
- 21:14Speaker 1: since you're such like a little dick argue lord, like
- 21:18Speaker 1: you're just gonna fuck, you're gonna stick to this opinion.
- 21:22Speaker 7: No, no, no, I never Inhimer, no matter what, No,
- 21:25Speaker 7: I never like never the for d X experience of
- 21:29Speaker 7: the Odyssey could have like the sirens coming through your
- 21:32Speaker 7: seat and sucking you off, and you still will be
- 21:35Speaker 7: like Oppenheimer.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Clear, No, no, no, I would never. I would never
- 21:38Speaker 5: would I'll go in. I'm gonna go in with a
- 21:39Speaker 5: clean slate. No, no, I'll know when to go completely fresh.
- 21:43Speaker 3: You need to go see it in theaters so that
- 21:44Speaker 3: you'd prove that you're not a little dick.
- 21:47Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, no, I'm going. I said, I'm seeing it
- 21:48Speaker 5: on Thursday.
- 21:50Speaker 3: When did you say that?
- 21:52Speaker 5: Ten minutes ago? I said, I said, no spoilers, I'm
- 21:54Speaker 5: seeing it on Thursday. And then you said, what did
- 21:57Speaker 5: you not know the story of the Odyssey, which I
- 21:59Speaker 5: then said, of course I was lying. I don't know
- 22:02Speaker 5: the story of the Odyssey at all.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Right, right, no spoilers please, Okay, So anyway, really quick,
- 22:08Speaker 3: So I finished the Odyssey. I went alone, right power move.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Then I get back in my car. Now at seven pm,
- 22:16Speaker 3: I'm still an hour and a half from this from
- 22:19Speaker 3: home in the middle of Long Island. I went near
- 22:22Speaker 3: Jericho or some bay shore.
- 22:25Speaker 5: And I love that, breaking up the ride like that.
- 22:27Speaker 5: It was a good move.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Smart.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Then I was hungry because I didn't eat anything in
- 22:33Speaker 3: the theater.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You had nothing.
- 22:36Speaker 3: I didn't because the line to get to the concession
- 22:39Speaker 3: stand was fifty people.
- 22:42Speaker 5: On that's crazy.
- 22:44Speaker 3: And I was like, I arrived five minutes into the previews,
- 22:48Speaker 3: and I was like, I'll miss the start of the
- 22:49Speaker 3: movie if I go to get shit. So I watched
- 22:53Speaker 3: the whole movie, no water, no candy, no soda, no popcorn,
- 22:59Speaker 3: plugging my ear long movie Like I was like I
- 23:03Speaker 3: was a technician checking the picture things worked.
- 23:07Speaker 1: That's like when people raw dog a flight.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Yeah, like I was an air marshall inside the theater
- 23:13Speaker 3: to promise that no one would come in and shoot people.
- 23:16Speaker 1: You're watching the exits.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I get back in my car. I realize I'm hungry.
- 23:23Speaker 3: So I go to Whole Foods in Jericho. And now
- 23:27Speaker 3: it's like eight o'clock at night on a Sunday night,
- 23:30Speaker 3: driving home from the Hampton's and I go in and
- 23:33Speaker 3: I get a rotisserie checking and some salad from the
- 23:37Speaker 3: salad bar. I get back in my car. I thought, well,
- 23:41Speaker 3: there's the place that you can eat inside Whole Foods.
- 23:44Speaker 3: But that's the saddest place on earth. It's so that
- 23:48Speaker 3: is the loneliest, saddest place on earth, Like.
- 23:52Speaker 1: The one at Wegman's is actually just.
- 23:55Speaker 3: It's better because they have communal tables and stuff. At
- 23:58Speaker 3: the Whole Foods one, it's just like, oh, you don't
- 24:00Speaker 3: have anyone to bring this home for this food home
- 24:03Speaker 3: to you don't want to even get home with your groceries.
- 24:08Speaker 3: You want to just be indoors, so you'll eat here. Okay, fine,
- 24:11Speaker 3: here you go. And I was like, I'm not gonna
- 24:13Speaker 3: do that. And the reason I'm not going to do
- 24:15Speaker 3: that is because I'm eating a rotisserie chicken, which I
- 24:18Speaker 3: like to eat with my hands, and even the fucking
- 24:22Speaker 3: lonely tables at the Whole Food's eatery are too classy
- 24:27Speaker 3: of a place for me to eat my rotisserie chicken
- 24:30Speaker 3: with my hands. So I brought it into my car
- 24:33Speaker 3: and I sat in the parking lot of a grocery store.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I took my shirt off. It's crazy because I was
- 24:40Speaker 3: wearing a white T shirt and I didn't want to
- 24:41Speaker 3: get chicken juice all.
- 24:43Speaker 5: Over it the end of the night, though.
- 24:46Speaker 3: I might. I like my T shirts clean, smart, smart.
- 24:49Speaker 3: And I was sitting there eating a rotisserie chicken with
- 24:54Speaker 3: my hands in my car, and I thought, this is
- 25:00Speaker 3: rock bottom. This is rock bottom. I found it, and
- 25:05Speaker 3: I thought about I even pulled out my phone to film,
- 25:08Speaker 3: because when that's how things work with me, is that
- 25:11Speaker 3: I realized that something I'm doing is absurd, and then
- 25:15Speaker 3: I'm like I should share this. Yeah, I don't contrive
- 25:18Speaker 3: a lot of the time. But I filmed and I
- 25:21Speaker 3: sort of admitted. I was like, this is what divorce
- 25:24Speaker 3: looks like, you know, Like here I am sitting in
- 25:27Speaker 3: this at eight pm on a Sunday night, eating rotisserie chicken,
- 25:31Speaker 3: shirtless with I can't turn the lights of my car
- 25:34Speaker 3: on because I don't want people to see inside what
- 25:36Speaker 3: I'm doing in the dark, So I'm just grabbing blindly
- 25:39Speaker 3: at chunks of chicken off the cars.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Why do you eat the entire chicken with your hand
- 25:43Speaker 5: like I get the drumsticks?
- 25:45Speaker 3: How do you eat a rotisserie chicken out of a
- 25:48Speaker 3: bag with utensils?
- 25:49Speaker 1: How No, He's saying, you got to eat it like
- 25:51Speaker 1: corn on the cob and just bring the carcass to
- 25:53Speaker 1: your mount.
- 25:54Speaker 5: It's dripping, it's very wet.
- 25:56Speaker 3: It's so wet juice.
- 25:57Speaker 5: But that juice is so good.
- 25:59Speaker 3: It is. In fact, I tipped the bag and listen
- 26:04Speaker 3: to this, that's rock bottom. The whole thing was rock.
- 26:08Speaker 5: I wasn't rock bottom until you tipped the back.
- 26:09Speaker 3: I was tipping the back. If I'd had a straw,
- 26:12Speaker 3: I would have done it. Bro At one point, when
- 26:15Speaker 3: I was checking out the lines, the lines with people
- 26:18Speaker 3: were too long, so I went to self checkout because
- 26:20Speaker 3: they only had like four items, and I was trying
- 26:22Speaker 3: to scan the bag of checking and the barcode was
- 26:27Speaker 3: on the bottom, so I was tilting it and all
- 26:30Speaker 3: the juice spilled out of the bag all over the
- 26:33Speaker 3: fucking scanner, and I called the guy over for help,
- 26:36Speaker 3: and I was like, look, man, I'm so sorry, but
- 26:38Speaker 3: I don't know why. He's like, just take the gun
- 26:40Speaker 3: and scan it. Oh yeah, well I didn't even know
- 26:42Speaker 3: that was an option.
- 26:43Speaker 5: That's what the gun's for, what I.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Got for anyway, So I have the footage on my phone,
- 26:48Speaker 3: but I was like, I can't even post this. It's
- 26:52Speaker 3: so dark, dude.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Well that's the best kind of it's probably it's.
- 26:56Speaker 3: So dark that I don't think people would even believe me.
- 27:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's like said, in the dark night, it's
- 27:03Speaker 1: always darkest before the dawn exactly. That means that the
- 27:05Speaker 1: sun's about to come up on you.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I I'm really, uh in a lost place right now.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I am why car driver, doesn't it like, couldn't you
- 27:16Speaker 1: just set it to auto drive and you just sit
- 27:18Speaker 1: in your car?
- 27:19Speaker 3: And I forgot about that, and I wish I had
- 27:22Speaker 3: done it that way because I would have killed I
- 27:24Speaker 3: would have been progressing home.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Yeah. Do you trust that though, like you think it
- 27:29Speaker 5: would take you, it would do a good job of
- 27:32Speaker 5: getting you where you want to go, because I know
- 27:34Speaker 5: those things kind of have a mind of their own.
- 27:36Speaker 3: The one I've never had a bad experience with it.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Do you have napkins?
- 27:40Speaker 3: I did have napkins. Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 5: I do think it's still not rock bottom though, because
- 27:44Speaker 5: it was a pretty healthy meal.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. I mean I will always be
- 27:51Speaker 3: that way, even at rock Bottom. Dude, if I start
- 27:54Speaker 3: eating like.
- 27:56Speaker 5: See that's rock botty. Yeah, you're not there.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Here, not Low Maine. With my hand, you're not there,
- 28:01Speaker 3: then I'll really have a problem.
- 28:03Speaker 5: That's rock bottom.
- 28:04Speaker 1: A fist full of mad.
- 28:05Speaker 3: This is my rock Bottom. It's healthy food with my
- 28:08Speaker 3: hands in the dark, in my car in a parking
- 28:11Speaker 3: lot on a Sunday night.
- 28:13Speaker 5: Now you think it's rock bottom. Rock Bottom is twenty
- 28:16Speaker 5: piece chicken McNugget, two burgers, two mcchickens.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I won't get there, that won't That won't happen to me.
- 28:26Speaker 3: I hope. I don't think I can get there. I'll
- 28:28Speaker 3: kill myself. I will. I definitely will. If I'm like, man,
- 28:37Speaker 3: I could, it's chicken nugget time, It'll be like, all right,
- 28:41Speaker 3: I'm walking to the top of the.
- 28:42Speaker 5: Brooklyn replacing the chicken nugget, but replacing the fries with nuggets. Yoh,
- 28:46Speaker 5: this is probably healthier. That's rock bottle bro.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Anyway. So that was my evening and it was very
- 28:54Speaker 3: eye opening. I'm not really sure what I'm doing with
- 28:58Speaker 3: my life right now, but that's okay.
- 29:00Speaker 1: People in my life that are asking me about you
- 29:02Speaker 1: and your life, like people are like his France, It's okay.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Oh they are? Are they really? They're concerned? What am I?
- 29:10Speaker 1: I thought?
- 29:10Speaker 3: I didn't think people. I didn't know that I was indicating.
- 29:14Speaker 1: That you said a couple episodes ago you were just like,
- 29:17Speaker 1: it's so bad for me? Did I?
- 29:21Speaker 5: I don't know what it was. But I got a
- 29:22Speaker 5: lot of d ms too, and I got like Bo
- 29:25Speaker 5: was asking me. He was like, what's going on with
- 29:26Speaker 5: Francis And I was like, I don't know.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Oh, well, I mean I apologize.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I don't know. You don't have to apologize.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 29:34Speaker 5: Bo asks a lot of annoying questions. Audiast kisses me off.
- 29:39Speaker 5: Every time I talk to him now, he's like, you
- 29:40Speaker 5: guys record today, Like, yup, what'd you guys talk about?
- 29:44Speaker 5: I don't fucking know, dude, Listen when it comes out.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Bo said, Hey, what restaurants would you recommend for a
- 29:50Speaker 3: date in the West Village or Soho area, preferably Italian?
- 29:57Speaker 3: And I said eat Sodi And he said love it
- 29:59Speaker 3: is it typical for everything to be booked up a
- 30:01Speaker 3: week out? I said, go at five point thirty, put
- 30:08Speaker 3: your name in. You'll be fine. Look at him. So
- 30:10Speaker 3: he's coming to New York City for a big date.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Thursday. That's when I'm going to the movies
- 30:15Speaker 3: with him.
- 30:16Speaker 5: Now, with Matt going on, while bogos and does his Shenanigans.
- 30:21Speaker 3: Where where do you find this girl in Birmingham? I think, Oh,
- 30:24Speaker 3: he's bringing her, he's importing her.
- 30:25Speaker 5: No, no, no, she's out here.
- 30:27Speaker 1: He's bringing s to the I don't know much.
- 30:29Speaker 5: About it, so I can't really speak on it, but
- 30:30Speaker 5: I believe that she's out here for work or an
- 30:32Speaker 5: internship or something like that. I don't know, but she's Birmingham,
- 30:35Speaker 5: coming back to Birmingham after Yeah.
- 30:38Speaker 3: And he thought she's there for business. I'll make a
- 30:40Speaker 3: trip of it, take her on a nice date in
- 30:42Speaker 3: the West Village.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Something like that. Yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Good for him, But neither of them are from here,
- 30:47Speaker 1: so he really can't go wrong.
- 30:49Speaker 5: He doesn't know what he's doing.
- 30:51Speaker 3: I can, I can, I can guide him around. Maybe
- 30:54Speaker 3: I should go on the date with them.
- 30:55Speaker 5: He was asking me for Lumineer's tickets. I was like,
- 30:57Speaker 5: I don't you think I know the luminear. He's like,
- 31:01Speaker 5: you got to have, like, you can probably guess free
- 31:03Speaker 5: tickets to the lumineer. What would make you think that? Well?
- 31:06Speaker 5: I was like, what would make you think that I
- 31:07Speaker 5: could get free tickets to the Lumineers.
- 31:10Speaker 1: You've gotta do. You've got to go into full c
- 31:12Speaker 1: I A Francis mode and just be like lowering the
- 31:15Speaker 1: menu halfway across the restaurant.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Like.
- 31:22Speaker 5: That's not a bad idea.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Also, get into East you use your restaurant, and then
- 31:27Speaker 1: you get your You get the lumineer's tickets.
- 31:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 1: So Peters and and Bow are coming in.
- 31:32Speaker 5: Yeah, and Nate lives here now. He moved here from
- 31:35Speaker 5: where from Massachusetts?
- 31:38Speaker 1: Cool?
- 31:38Speaker 3: Not man, he's never been there.
- 31:40Speaker 5: No, he was there, but then he was back in
- 31:41Speaker 5: mass Astoria.
- 31:45Speaker 3: What did you bring? You brought everyone to you and
- 31:48Speaker 3: they're all moving here.
- 31:50Speaker 5: No, only only Nate for now, for now, for now.

- 35:24Speaker 5: it's a starter kit. Yeah, it's always funny, like meeting
- 35:28Speaker 5: up with my like like it's happened. You guys have
- 35:30Speaker 5: met Jack. It's like it's like they come from their
- 35:33Speaker 5: jobs and they've got like their work shit on. I'm
- 35:35Speaker 5: wearing shorts and a T shirt. I just feel like
- 35:37Speaker 5: a piece of shit.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Meet at the smith, Meet at the smith.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Why did you get that hole in that sweater? What
- 35:42Speaker 3: happened there?
- 35:44Speaker 5: A piece of a fire came off and it landed
- 35:46Speaker 5: on it.
- 35:47Speaker 3: You mean the end of a joint.
- 35:49Speaker 5: No, I would tell you if that's what it was.
- 35:51Speaker 5: It was not that. It was.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Well, it looks bigger than a joint. That looks like
- 35:53Speaker 1: part of the cigar he was smoking with left.
- 35:56Speaker 5: No. I definitely wasn't wearing this in Tampa in August.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Man. I mean, it's cool, it's cool. How that happened.
- 36:05Speaker 5: It's a bummer.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Yeah, look it looks like as now.
- 36:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a real bomber. It was actually it was
- 36:11Speaker 5: I was at home for my sisters, like we were
- 36:16Speaker 5: like it was like a wedding celebration, and she's married
- 36:19Speaker 5: my older sister. Yeah, we've talked about this a thousand times.
- 36:22Speaker 5: And then and then we were sitting at a fire
- 36:27Speaker 5: outside and a little piece landed right here, just went.
- 36:30Speaker 5: I mean, this thing must be like really flammable for
- 36:34Speaker 5: a little tiny piece of an ember an ember to land.
- 36:37Speaker 1: And just what you got to do is you I
- 36:39Speaker 1: think this would be up your alley if you like
- 36:42Speaker 1: crocheted like a little like pop of color behind it
- 36:45Speaker 1: or something like that like that, just like put a
- 36:47Speaker 1: little piece of red, maybe a little red, a little
- 36:49Speaker 1: orange or something a lot of potential there, gave a
- 36:52Speaker 1: little bit of pop of color.
- 36:53Speaker 5: Yeah, you could do that tonight.
- 36:54Speaker 3: You could get someone to put a patch over that
- 36:56Speaker 3: or something that would make it look even cooler and
- 36:59Speaker 3: more Americans lived in Yeah, maybe I'll.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Put like these those military patches that we got, maybe
- 37:05Speaker 5: I'll put that over it.
- 37:07Speaker 3: Yeah, And the devil made me do it. Just take
- 37:12Speaker 3: it to any one of those, you know, dry cleaning spots.
- 37:15Speaker 3: They always have someone in there, some seam stress or something.
- 37:18Speaker 3: They can fix that up for you. You'd be surprised
- 37:19Speaker 3: they're they're artists.
- 37:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll do that.
- 37:23Speaker 3: No, you won't, and you'll just complain about it.
- 37:26Speaker 5: I didn't complain about it at all. I said, it's
- 37:28Speaker 5: a bummer.
- 37:29Speaker 3: You like telling people that at one point recently you
- 37:31Speaker 3: were around a campfire.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Yes, of course.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Who he's talking about a wedding that happened.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Three years ago, last year, last summer.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Last summer, might as well be three years ago.
- 37:40Speaker 5: Not even a year ago.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Do they have kids?
- 37:43Speaker 5: Nope? Oh, my cousin just had a kid though. Oh,
- 37:47Speaker 5: shout out to my cousin. Shout out Lizzy and.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Tim and Tim.
- 37:50Speaker 1: And what's their kid's name, Maverick.
- 37:51Speaker 5: I'll never say. That's between me and them and their child.
- 37:56Speaker 1: That's Baker Mayfield's kids name, Maverick Mayfield.
- 37:58Speaker 5: That's a great name, that great, that's a great name.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Unbelievable man.
- 38:03Speaker 5: And your dad's Baker Mayfield.
- 38:05Speaker 1: That kid's coming out of the womb throwing seventy yards
- 38:08Speaker 1: off of me.
- 38:09Speaker 5: Yeah, dots, that's crazy.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Dipping dots. How was, Uh, where'd you were you Orlando
- 38:15Speaker 1: with Tampa?
- 38:16Speaker 5: I was in Tampa, or I guess Saint Petersburg. Yeah,
- 38:20Speaker 5: for the Joke World Comedy Festival. Oh shit, yeah, it
- 38:22Speaker 5: was fun. It was a good time.
- 38:23Speaker 1: How was the comedy jam? What'd you saying?
- 38:25Speaker 5: I did not participate in the comedy jam? Not really
- 38:27Speaker 5: my style crazy, not really my U that used to
- 38:30Speaker 5: be you. Oh yeah, if I was hammered, I definitely
- 38:32Speaker 5: would have done it.
- 38:33Speaker 3: What's the Joke World?
- 38:35Speaker 5: Joke World?
- 38:36Speaker 3: Is that what you called it? The festival?
- 38:38Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, joke World the YouTube channel.
- 38:41Speaker 3: I don't know if I do?
- 38:42Speaker 5: You do?
- 38:43Speaker 1: And they do.
- 38:43Speaker 5: It's the guy that does like he does like pretty
- 38:45Speaker 5: much like a version of like the Rundown, but for comedy,
- 38:48Speaker 5: for like the week, and then he makes a bunch
- 38:50Speaker 5: of like best of compilations and stuff and.
- 38:52Speaker 1: He does the bracket.
- 38:53Speaker 5: I actually told Gazz to hire him at Barstool when
- 38:55Speaker 5: he had like ten thousand subscribers on YouTube, and they
- 38:58Speaker 5: said the gas didn't want to And then he's doing
- 39:01Speaker 5: his own festival. Now I'm a genius.
- 39:05Speaker 1: How many how many followers does he have? There was
- 39:07Speaker 1: a lot of people at.
- 39:08Speaker 5: The festival Yeah, there was. It was a good time.
- 39:12Speaker 1: A lot of people on the festival. It was like
- 39:13Speaker 1: a deep roster.
- 39:14Speaker 5: How did he pay all of them? I don't know.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I'm so ready for summer to be over.
- 39:19Speaker 5: I am too. I need football and I'm done with
- 39:22Speaker 5: short sleeves. This was my coming out party of I'm
- 39:26Speaker 5: not participating in the heat anymore. It's over for me.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Well, it's cool. Today's damn near rady. Today. I thought
- 39:33Speaker 1: a lot of people would be trying to hold on
- 39:34Speaker 1: to summer. Six o'clock.
- 39:38Speaker 3: I need darkness.
- 39:39Speaker 5: Why cold? I need cold and I need football.
- 39:42Speaker 3: I need darkness cold and and you know someone.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Oh you need cuffing season to come back. Yeah, you
- 39:50Speaker 1: have to be under a blanket making soup for someone.
- 39:52Speaker 3: I'm not ready. I'm not nobody's nobody's ready for for this.
- 39:57Speaker 3: I need to get some ship to get before I
- 40:01Speaker 3: can cuff. So you're can I be honest with you.
- 40:05Speaker 3: I need to lose ten pounds. Whoa, I've never said
- 40:08Speaker 3: this before.
- 40:08Speaker 5: It's like Ariana Grande, shit, no, no, Jenna or Tega.
- 40:14Speaker 3: I'm not saying I need to lose ten pounds. I
- 40:17Speaker 3: weighed myself today and it was a big number.
- 40:20Speaker 5: Bro, So what you can't lose ten? Where where is
- 40:22Speaker 5: the ten pounds coming from myself? But where? No? Probably
- 40:29Speaker 5: there's no fat on your back.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Yeah I'm not saying, well, yeah, there is, of course
- 40:33Speaker 3: there is.
- 40:34Speaker 5: I could always be I look.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Fine, I look fine, but I'm I'm heavy, and I
- 40:38Speaker 3: think it's hurting my joints.
- 40:40Speaker 1: You're going to lean down for winter. I think that works.
- 40:43Speaker 3: I think I'm getting more joint pain as a result
- 40:48Speaker 3: of how heavy I am doing the workouts.
- 40:50Speaker 5: Are you not smoking enough? You might need to start
- 40:53Speaker 5: smoking more.
- 40:54Speaker 3: I need to lay off the cush really.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Probably the joints are bad for your joints.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe I need to lay off the cush. I
- 41:03Speaker 3: need to lay off sugar. Sugar's been a demon in
- 41:06Speaker 3: my life.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm back on it.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I think you need to lay off Upstate for a while.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm staying away from that.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I think you have to stay away from Upstate. And
- 41:14Speaker 1: here's why. I think that as you enter into your
- 41:18Speaker 1: cuffing season, like finding a boo, you're gonna need to
- 41:22Speaker 1: spend a little bit of time in neighborhoods in New
- 41:24Speaker 1: York to establish a pattern. And then wait, wait, and
- 41:28Speaker 1: then you're two months in and you're like, have I
- 41:30Speaker 1: told you about my place up state? And then you
- 41:32Speaker 1: knock her stocks off and then you hibernate up there. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:37Speaker 1: that's two months off.
- 41:38Speaker 3: That all sounds well and good, but they say that
- 41:40Speaker 3: the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over
- 41:43Speaker 3: and over and expecting different results. I think we're at
- 41:46Speaker 3: a point now where we need to really consider that.
- 41:49Speaker 3: I should not be looking for a boo, as you say,
- 41:53Speaker 3: in New York City.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 41:56Speaker 3: What am I doing? I'm not a city guy. I'm
- 41:58Speaker 3: a good old country boy from Maine.
- 42:01Speaker 5: Where are you going to find a boo in this?
- 42:04Speaker 3: I don't know. I think there's like ten girls in
- 42:07Speaker 3: Maine total, exactly.
- 42:08Speaker 5: So what's the plan?
- 42:09Speaker 6: Name?
- 42:09Speaker 1: Wasn't Sophie Cunningham? What isn't she a farmer? Didn't she
- 42:12Speaker 1: grow up as a farmer? Maybe you need to like get.
- 42:14Speaker 3: I would really like to date. I'd really like to
- 42:17Speaker 3: date Sophie Cunningham. Okay, yeah, I would really like to.
- 42:20Speaker 5: You don't want that, you know why? You don't want that? Drama?
- 42:22Speaker 3: What do you mean? That's a six foot one w
- 42:25Speaker 3: NBA and forcer and forcer banging me in fucking whatever
- 42:29Speaker 3: that worst place simo in style or whatever.
- 42:32Speaker 1: She's not one of the worst players in the league.
- 42:34Speaker 5: What are you talking about, Cunningham?
- 42:35Speaker 1: Why? How would she be one of the worst players
- 42:37Speaker 1: in the league.
- 42:38Speaker 5: She's all face.
- 42:41Speaker 1: It's her birthday today, Happy birthday, Sophie.
- 42:44Speaker 5: I heard that she wasn't as good as like you'd think?
- 42:47Speaker 3: Who do?
- 42:47Speaker 6: What?
- 42:47Speaker 1: What do you mean? What would you think?
- 42:49Speaker 5: Well, because she's like one of the bigger names in
- 42:51Speaker 5: the w NBA, So she's not as good as you
- 42:53Speaker 5: should be a top player?
- 42:54Speaker 1: How much? How good did you think she is?
- 42:57Speaker 5: Should be on par with Clark or one of the
- 43:00Speaker 5: other ones.
- 43:00Speaker 3: What's that sexual little position where like the woman is
- 43:03Speaker 3: like standing Amazon position?
- 43:07Speaker 5: I'm not sure.
- 43:08Speaker 3: Have you seen that where the guys like holds his
- 43:11Speaker 3: guys the guys like this and she's standing. In fact,
- 43:18Speaker 3: that's what it would be.
- 43:20Speaker 5: She's got averaging eight points again, what's wrong with that?
- 43:25Speaker 1: How is that bad?
- 43:26Speaker 5: That's right with that?
- 43:27Speaker 3: She isn't she the enforcer for the fever, the main
- 43:32Speaker 3: the Caitlyn Clark, she's like the bodyguard.
- 43:36Speaker 5: No, yeah, yeah, I.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Mean she she's more outspoken for sure. Yeah, she does
- 43:42Speaker 1: the point. You don't think the point was iconic.
- 43:45Speaker 5: I think it would be iconic if she was putting
- 43:46Speaker 5: up thirty a game.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Oh you're an Angelis guy. Yeah, you're more of an
- 43:50Speaker 1: Angels guy. I got it.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I like Sophie.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean Francis literally just said he's trying to
- 43:57Speaker 1: date her, and before he even gets a chance, you
- 44:00Speaker 1: try to put mustard on her jacket.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Don't insult my way or what for what.
- 44:03Speaker 5: Purpose saying it? I'm just calling it how it is.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I mean, he's trying to date her, but I need.
- 44:09Speaker 3: To lose before I date, sof cun But what if
- 44:12Speaker 3: she likes fat guys like you, Well then you need
- 44:17Speaker 3: to find that out before I stop eating.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Does do NBA players do they have the weight? What?
- 44:24Speaker 1: What sports have the weight?
- 44:25Speaker 5: Football?
- 44:27Speaker 1: But but not w n B A what what do
- 44:30Speaker 1: you mean? Do they have publicly listed w NBA players
- 44:33Speaker 1: weights anywhere? Oh? No, Sean do they ever?
- 44:37Speaker 3: They do they have their heights?
- 44:39Speaker 1: Right? Do they ever have to? Wait?
- 44:40Speaker 3: They must?
- 44:42Speaker 5: No way you don't think, Yeah, says Tatom's weights up there?
- 44:48Speaker 1: Bro Wait cunninghams wait what the fuck?
- 44:52Speaker 3: Oh they don't have her weight?
- 44:54Speaker 1: That's so crazy?
- 44:56Speaker 5: Yeah, that's interesting, probably because they're all tall as fuck,
- 44:58Speaker 5: so they don't want people to read like, oh, Sophie
- 45:00Speaker 5: Cunningham's one eighty, you know, one ninety, because then people
- 45:06Speaker 5: will just run with that.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Not me.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Of course, I'm a supporter of the WNBA, not much
- 45:11Speaker 5: of a watcher, I'll be honest. I don't watch.
- 45:14Speaker 1: But you want to be on the right side of
- 45:15Speaker 1: the disc of course, I support. Of course, it's all
- 45:18Speaker 1: about the discourse for you. Drake may is listed. I
- 45:21Speaker 1: mean there's like two fat five steel when like when
- 45:25Speaker 1: Makai Beckten got drafted, he was like three hundred and
- 45:27Speaker 1: sixty pounds and everybody's like his weights out of control?
- 45:31Speaker 5: Is that the guy on the bucks.
- 45:32Speaker 1: He was on the Eagles, or that that guy on
- 45:34Speaker 1: the bucks mayn bro like fucking ruben Bain.
- 45:37Speaker 5: There's so wrong there.
- 45:40Speaker 1: There's lots of like everybody has like their weight examined,
- 45:45Speaker 1: and then what we can't examine our sister's weights.
- 45:48Speaker 5: I guess it's I get it. I get I think
- 45:50Speaker 5: it's fair.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Why I think it's fair?
- 45:52Speaker 5: Why exact people would be too nasty?
- 45:54Speaker 1: Do you think so that makes it fair if they
- 45:57Speaker 1: if they just had their weights out there. Maybe it
- 45:59Speaker 1: would normalize's weights.
- 46:01Speaker 5: I don't think it's I don't think society would handle
- 46:04Speaker 5: it well.
- 46:05Speaker 1: These women make hundreds of millions of dollars a year.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I think they can handle a little bit of ribbing
- 46:10Speaker 1: about their weight. These women are corporations. Yeah, I think it's. Uh,
- 46:18Speaker 1: this is the first I'm hearing about them not listing
- 46:20Speaker 1: their weights.
- 46:21Speaker 3: Yeah, but they say to avoid cultural double standards. I
- 46:24Speaker 3: would think that they would be included in order to
- 46:26Speaker 3: avoid cultural standards.
- 46:28Speaker 5: Oh so I was right. That is why they don't
- 46:30Speaker 5: do it, because people would be too nasty.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I mean some of them there are big. There are
- 46:35Speaker 1: big girls for sure.
- 46:36Speaker 5: Are there? Like there are any like big big girls?
- 46:38Speaker 1: Saudi Crooks is on the bigger side. Maybe we could
- 46:42Speaker 1: pull her up. She's incredible.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Not pulling her up a ladder, that's for sure.
- 46:49Speaker 1: She is pulling up for some jump shots though she's
- 46:52Speaker 1: or actually she's more of a post work girl. But
- 46:54Speaker 1: she's just like she's strong.
- 46:57Speaker 5: She looks like she just hit the transfer portal.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I mean she was at where Iowa State.
- 47:02Speaker 5: She's a beast.
- 47:03Speaker 1: She's incredible.
- 47:04Speaker 5: Yeah, Like that's like I'd rather have her on my team.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Than Sophie Cunningham.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Look at that.
- 47:08Speaker 5: She's bumping in the page, taking space.
- 47:12Speaker 1: These girls cannot do ship with her. No, they cannot
- 47:15Speaker 1: do a damn thing with her.
- 47:16Speaker 5: Yeah, do you think they'll lower the rim? I was
- 47:18Speaker 5: I was seeing some tweets this morning about a potential.
- 47:21Speaker 1: That's more fucked up than listening the way.
- 47:23Speaker 5: I think that's more fucked up too.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Who's who's talking about lowering the room?
- 47:27Speaker 5: Who was it? Was it Shack? Shack's talking about it?
- 47:32Speaker 5: You know, Shack's kind of nasty with the woman.
- 47:34Speaker 1: I thought he was a resehead.
- 47:36Speaker 5: Yeah, but a little bit too much of a resead.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Do make it easier?
- 47:41Speaker 5: What I mean? What was he saying about her shorts?
- 47:43Speaker 3: Oh?
- 47:44Speaker 1: Yeah, he got horney.
- 47:44Speaker 5: He said some crazy short. Yeah, you can't be doing that. Yeah,
- 47:51Speaker 5: it's not right strictly platonic relationship outside of the shorts.
- 47:56Speaker 5: The shorts controversy.
- 47:58Speaker 3: What he say, you.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Say something about like having them wear booty shorts.
- 48:03Speaker 5: It's like you up on that wild and out stage
- 48:05Speaker 5: and then booty shorts. He said something real nasty.
- 48:12Speaker 1: There's I mean, he it's tough for Shock because he
- 48:15Speaker 1: in his lifetime had to learn that you can't just
- 48:18Speaker 1: say anything to girls.
- 48:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Yeah, like his life started out where he could say anything.
- 48:23Speaker 3: What is it to say?
- 48:25Speaker 5: Imagine you in those tiny little shorts.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Tiny little booty shorts you had on in the Wild
- 48:30Speaker 3: and Out show. Duncan you know how many T shirts
- 48:36Speaker 3: you gon't sell? I mean, that's great.
- 48:44Speaker 1: How many T shirts? What does not even have to
- 48:46Speaker 1: do with it?
- 48:46Speaker 5: I think he's saying it would be good for the sport.
- 48:48Speaker 1: You're going to sell so many T shirts.
- 48:50Speaker 5: But duncan. But it's not like they're wearing fucking and
- 48:52Speaker 5: one shorts.
- 48:54Speaker 1: In women's volleyball. Didn't they make them all start wearing thongs?
- 48:56Speaker 1: Didn't they like mandate the.
- 48:58Speaker 5: Each only beach separate league.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Look like you've researched.
- 49:03Speaker 5: This beach versus clay. A lot of people are hitting
- 49:08Speaker 5: up about the tennis thing, too, saying you wouldn't get
- 49:09Speaker 5: a point.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:11Speaker 1: I was actually glad that you didn't have Twitter that week,
- 49:13Speaker 1: because I feel like that would have just annoyed you.
- 49:16Speaker 1: I mean, you didn't even have to see much of
- 49:18Speaker 1: the discourse.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Honestly, it's fun to throw a match, oh yeah, and
- 49:23Speaker 3: just watch tennis people get obsessed.
- 49:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, furious.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Yeah, future pickleballers being upset at you.
- 49:30Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, it's pretty fun.
- 49:33Speaker 5: Future pickleballers is a shot. Why because the tennis people
- 49:37Speaker 5: hate pickleball. It's taking up all the courts. They're using
- 49:41Speaker 5: all the courts.
- 49:42Speaker 1: I saw the pickle ball that there's some recession indicators
- 49:45Speaker 1: for pickleball.
- 49:46Speaker 5: Really yeah, like what.
- 49:49Speaker 1: That there were companies, big companies spent a lot of
- 49:52Speaker 1: money in like making tons of new pickleball equipment and stuff,
- 49:56Speaker 1: and that stuff is getting cob webs on the shelves.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Really yeah, growing I think that pickleball is losing was
- 50:02Speaker 3: a very quick flash in the pan. Really well, I mean,
- 50:06Speaker 3: I know, for for the the you know, a lot
- 50:09Speaker 3: of the people I know are opting away from pickleball
- 50:12Speaker 3: and towards padel.
- 50:15Speaker 5: Is that the one where you're in like the glass box.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and technically it's pronounced paddle, but everyone says podell
- 50:22Speaker 3: to differentiate from paddle tennis.
- 50:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, which is platform tennis. Yeah.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Well, I mean I'm not sad to hear it is.
- 50:31Speaker 1: It's gonna be something that's like indicative of the decade. Yeah,
- 50:35Speaker 1: in like twenty years.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you know.
- 50:38Speaker 5: It is sad to hear, because I actually didn't. I
- 50:39Speaker 5: played it once and I had a great time. Pickle's fun.
- 50:42Speaker 5: But I do get why it's phasing out because the
- 50:44Speaker 5: people that were playing pickleball. If I had to guess,
- 50:47Speaker 5: I would assume that people that don't really exercise often
- 50:51Speaker 5: or consistently play recreational sports often, like people that play tennis.
- 50:57Speaker 1: I don't think it's dead. I think that it's gonna
- 50:59Speaker 1: go to any it's any fifty and over community. Everybody's
- 51:01Speaker 1: playing it in that lifetime. I feel like you, Like, I.
- 51:05Speaker 5: Think everyone played it a couple of times and we're like,
- 51:06Speaker 5: this is really fun. And then they were like, but
- 51:08Speaker 5: I could also just sit work out. Yeah no, not
- 51:12Speaker 5: even that, just sit at home.
- 51:14Speaker 3: At the Lifetime Fitness that I work out at, they
- 51:17Speaker 3: had a basketball court and then they got rid of
- 51:20Speaker 3: the basketball court and they put three pickleball courts in.
- 51:24Speaker 1: They pay paradise and put up a park. Yeah, they
- 51:28Speaker 1: used to. It used to be five in the morning.
- 51:31Speaker 1: It used to be five in the morning. That like that.
- 51:33Speaker 1: That court would be packed, right, Yeah, he's gonna it
- 51:36Speaker 1: was like a famous forever.
- 51:37Speaker 5: I would play games there and it would take forever.
- 51:39Speaker 3: To get in. But it was fun. It was really fun.
- 51:42Speaker 5: Ball court back.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Well, I think they up charge for pickle ball.
- 51:45Speaker 5: Really it's over. I mean that's just a terrible investment.
- 51:49Speaker 1: But there's people playing in there.
- 51:51Speaker 5: I'm so people are shooting hoops in there now over
- 51:55Speaker 5: the pill working on their dribble.
- 51:59Speaker 1: I had this what six.
- 52:04Speaker 5: I bought a basketball last week. Are you gonna do?
- 52:13Speaker 3: What are you gonna do with the basketball?
- 52:15Speaker 5: Wilson, great ball? Yeah, I'm gonna take it to the park.
- 52:21Speaker 5: We got the Astoria games this weekend, indoor outdoor, outdoor
- 52:26Speaker 5: only tennis, tennis and basketball.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Oh my god, the.
- 52:32Speaker 5: Boys are bringing their rackets. Wait, so your boys are
- 52:35Speaker 5: in town and you're gonna bring the basketball to the park. Yeah,
- 52:38Speaker 5: I mean, dude, the Astoria Park phenomenal park. First off,
- 52:42Speaker 5: I bet not very packed. A lot of courts. I
- 52:44Speaker 5: mean they must have thirty courts there, and uh so, yeah,
- 52:48Speaker 5: I mean I was I've been jogging and I've been
- 52:50Speaker 5: seeing the courts and I've been seeing I'm not seeing
- 52:53Speaker 5: anybody on these courts.
- 52:54Speaker 3: You've been jogging.
- 52:55Speaker 5: I have been jogging, and yeah, I'm taking back my life.
- 52:59Speaker 5: And god, damn you you led me down this path.
- 53:06Speaker 5: I gotta lose thirty really, yeah, before winter.
- 53:10Speaker 3: I need to lose ten thirty.
- 53:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm losing thirty trying to get down to a
- 53:15Speaker 5: healthy one thirty.
- 53:17Speaker 1: The fuck are you gonna do? Are you gonna lose thirty?
- 53:20Speaker 3: Should we do a weight loss competition?
- 53:22Speaker 5: I'm not trying to lose weight.
- 53:24Speaker 1: No, let's do a weight loss competition.
- 53:25Speaker 5: Let's do weight loss competition. No, I'll do weigh ins.
- 53:28Speaker 5: I'm only starting working out so that I feel better
- 53:31Speaker 5: about myself when I play video games.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Or a calorie burning competition. We great garments and also
- 53:39Speaker 1: you can eat.
- 53:40Speaker 5: I feel better about eating when I when I've worked out.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Matt mccuster said he was doing that with his two
- 53:45Speaker 1: of his neighbors, a calorie burning competition. Doesn't that sound nice, dude?
- 53:49Speaker 5: It's like, hell, I did.
- 53:51Speaker 3: I did a tough workout this morning, and then I
- 53:52Speaker 3: was like, I need to do more because I don't
- 53:54Speaker 3: like myself. And I got on the assault bike and
- 53:57Speaker 3: did a like a twenty seconds on ten I can
- 54:00Speaker 3: saw for five minutes. By the end of it, I
- 54:03Speaker 3: was choking on my own spec Yeah.
- 54:05Speaker 5: Yeah, no, that's hell.
- 54:06Speaker 3: I couldn't I couldn't breathe around what was in my mouth. Yeah,
- 54:10Speaker 3: now the assault bike is actually torture. I actually felt
- 54:13Speaker 3: like I was drowning in my own fluid.
- 54:15Speaker 5: It's it's honestly shocking how quickly you can go from
- 54:19Speaker 5: being fine to like the most exhausted you've ever been.
- 54:22Speaker 3: The goal it was, but it was a scary thing
- 54:26Speaker 3: to not be able to breathe because of what was
- 54:28Speaker 3: in my mouth.
- 54:29Speaker 1: But you're basically a Navy seal at that point. What
- 54:32Speaker 1: do you mean when they all lay in the water
- 54:34Speaker 1: and they're like choking on the water as it comes up.
- 54:37Speaker 1: You know, I think that you could enlist.
- 54:38Speaker 3: It was more like I had a ball gag in
- 54:40Speaker 3: my mouth.
- 54:41Speaker 5: A gim what In the early stages of this show,
- 54:44Speaker 5: one time we had Kalbon and we had a couple
- 54:47Speaker 5: of drinks on the podcast, and then I was going
- 54:49Speaker 5: to go to the gym after and I went to
- 54:51Speaker 5: the gym and I was like, I had a little
- 54:53Speaker 5: bit of you know, I had a good little buzz
- 54:54Speaker 5: gone and I was going to do the assault bike.
- 54:57Speaker 5: Get to wear this off. I had to lay down
- 55:00Speaker 5: on the bench in the locker room, like the communal bench.
- 55:04Speaker 5: I was sitting.
- 55:05Speaker 1: That's like where down on it eighty year old Turkish
- 55:08Speaker 1: guys put their direct assel. Yeah, yeah, their choice untouched asshole. Yeah,
- 55:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, m M, that's fucking wild.
- 55:20Speaker 5: Well, I uh, I've I've been traveling. Traveling has gotten
- 55:26Speaker 5: to a point for me where it's it is so miserable.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Because you swore off our brothers at Delta. No.
- 55:32Speaker 5: I touch flu Delta twice this weekend and uh first
- 55:35Speaker 5: class one way, phenomenal flight.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Okay, nomenal how you're talking.
- 55:39Speaker 5: Upgraded plane, one of those first class ones where they
- 55:41Speaker 5: got the white barrier around it about the shell on
- 55:46Speaker 5: the way to tempt shell. And then they came over
- 55:49Speaker 5: to me and they go, would you like to hear
- 55:50Speaker 5: options for our meal? And I said absolutely not. And
- 55:54Speaker 5: then I didn't say that obviously I said sure, and
- 55:56Speaker 5: uh but I I said sure. I said sure with
- 56:00Speaker 5: the idea of like, I'm not eating this fucking poison.
- 56:02Speaker 5: And the first thing they say is mushroom ravioli? Who
- 56:08Speaker 5: wants that? Who is who is getting on a plane going? Man,
- 56:12Speaker 5: this would be a better flight if I had some
- 56:13Speaker 5: mushroom ravioli.
- 56:15Speaker 3: Look, man, we're doing our best pizza Delta Pizza sandwich.
- 56:19Speaker 1: CSA fuck though, What are you talking about a pizza
- 56:22Speaker 1: on a plane? How are they going to.
- 56:23Speaker 5: Successfully It's a two hour flight. I don't need mushroom
- 56:26Speaker 5: ravioli in the first place. But if I'm gonna eat,
- 56:29Speaker 5: give me a slice.
- 56:30Speaker 3: You have to understand that they are. They are very
- 56:32Speaker 3: limited what they can do because they're just basically microwaving everything. Right,
- 56:36Speaker 3: just take it back to.
- 56:37Speaker 5: Just normal food. No one wants mushroom ravioli.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Doesn't sound that bad to me.
- 56:42Speaker 5: It sounds like I couldn't come up with the worst
- 56:45Speaker 5: thing to eat if I tried.
- 56:47Speaker 1: What about the vegetarian bros. That was probably the veg option.
- 56:50Speaker 5: It's all veg. It's like they it's like they're Delta
- 56:53Speaker 5: and all these like the lounge operates under the bro
- 56:56Speaker 5: The Delta Lounge operates under the idea that ninety nine
- 56:59Speaker 5: percent of people are vegan or vegetarian.
- 57:01Speaker 3: That's not true.
- 57:03Speaker 5: It is everything is tofu and those options.
- 57:08Speaker 3: But they also have a huge thing of chicken.
- 57:10Speaker 5: Come on, they're putting you know, they're putting more effort
- 57:13Speaker 5: into the vegs than they are the chicken. Don't you
- 57:16Speaker 5: look at their vege it's this nice setup.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Because no one's touching. No one's touching, whereas everyone's mauling
- 57:24Speaker 3: the chicken.
- 57:24Speaker 5: Because no one is eating that ship. Get rid of it.
- 57:30Speaker 5: That's all I'm saying. We got to get rid of
- 57:31Speaker 5: the get rid of they.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Got options, because that'll be telling.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Oh, I don't even remember. I heard. I heard, I
- 57:36Speaker 5: heard mushroom REVOLI and I and but I will say
- 57:42Speaker 5: I did. I said no with the with the thought
- 57:45Speaker 5: in my head that I'm just gonna wait for the snacks,
- 57:47Speaker 5: get some Pistaschio's, maybe some gummies, maybe one of those
- 57:50Speaker 5: nice dark chocolate bars. Those things are great. No, they
- 57:54Speaker 5: didn't bring any snacks.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Wow, you like left Delta and forgot everything. You don't
- 58:00Speaker 1: you thought that they were going to bring the fucking
- 58:02Speaker 1: snack cart through first class where they're serving meal service.
- 58:06Speaker 5: They do that. They bring the They usually bring the
- 58:08Speaker 5: meal once everyone's done with And I know that because
- 58:13Speaker 5: on my flight back they brought the snacks anymore. I
- 58:16Speaker 5: wasn't first class anymore. I was in a middle seat.
- 58:20Speaker 5: I wanted to blow my head off.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Tell them that they're not bringing the snack cart around.
- 58:26Speaker 1: They're not bringing a chance for you to buy uh
- 58:30Speaker 1: gummy bears if you've had a shot at the mushroom ravioli.
- 58:35Speaker 3: My guess would be if it had been a longer flight,
- 58:38Speaker 3: they would have done meal service and then towards the
- 58:40Speaker 3: end of the flight maybe they bring you the snack basket.
- 58:42Speaker 5: What about for a guy that that size, he doesn't
- 58:43Speaker 5: want he doesn't want the meal.
- 58:44Speaker 3: I probably could have said, do you have any snacks?
- 58:47Speaker 3: I don't want any of this dog food.
- 58:49Speaker 5: I don't like to beg You like to complain, I'd
- 58:52Speaker 5: like I'd rather complain and not get anything.
- 58:55Speaker 3: I would say that you're going to be a tough
- 58:57Speaker 3: person for someone someday, But clearly I'm tougher because.
- 59:02Speaker 5: Now I'm actually a very twelve years older than you,
- 59:04Speaker 5: and I'm completely alone.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Come on, now, I'm and you're so polite to every
- 59:10Speaker 1: flight attendant. You do all the things socially that would
- 59:12Speaker 1: be like, oh, this is guy, this guy knows how
- 59:15Speaker 1: to act around people, and like you're polite to waiters
- 59:18Speaker 1: and stuff.
- 59:20Speaker 5: Yeah, well, am I not? You're not polite polite, And
- 59:26Speaker 5: I want to make it clear these are all internal
- 59:28Speaker 5: thoughts that I have. I'm not well.
- 59:29Speaker 1: I wasn't even talking about you. But you're you like
- 59:32Speaker 1: you're talking about me because you're yeah, you're saying if
- 59:34Speaker 1: the shoe fits. I just was saying that, Francis is,
- 59:36Speaker 1: where's my guess?
- 59:37Speaker 5: Where's my guess?
- 59:39Speaker 3: When I when I'm on a plane, I cannot get
- 59:42Speaker 3: off the plane until I have helped someone get their
- 59:45Speaker 3: bag down from the overhead. You specifically choose the first
- 59:49Speaker 3: row of the plane, no, so that there's no one
- 59:52Speaker 3: in front of you that you can.
- 59:53Speaker 5: Specifically said on the show that I opted out of
- 59:56Speaker 5: first class because I hate the first seat so much.
- 59:59Speaker 5: Lies you lie, you're the bag for you to tarnish.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: My name is a kid, I just kid.
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: No, But really, traveling has become so fucking miserable. And
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: it's not even the flying. The flying is like the
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: easiest part. It's the hotels. I hate staying in a hotel.
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: It's just miserable the whole time. Like I'm just sitting
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: there like I feel like I'm like i feel like
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: I'm just in like a pod, just rot just waiting
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: and rotting.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: You need to start, uh, just spending all of your
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: money on a nice hotel then.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: But I but like we stayed in that nice hotel
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: in ch Iraq, and like that didn't do anything for me.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: It didn't No, he didn't scratch.
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: It didn't scratch any issues.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Where's Chicago. Why do they call it.
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: That because more people died suppose? I mean, obviously this
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: this just can't be a true statistic. But they say
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: that more people died that die in Chicago have died
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: in Chicago from gun violence than died in the Iraq War.
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: But I think they're probably yeah, yeah, I think they're
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: not counting a large majority of the people that died
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: in Iraq.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: Yeah, right, more.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: I think they're counting just US soldiers. Yeah, not the
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: millions of people that we killed. But uh that's and
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: that's nor here nor there. Hotels are bad.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I think that. Uh yeah, I don't know. I haven't
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: stayed in the hotel for a while, but I think
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: a great hotel is great and a bad hotel is
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: really bad.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: Do you remember when I said that Harry, I was like,
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Harry has now decided that he can only fly first class,
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: and once you break that seal, you're cooked. You'll never
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: go back. But that I was like, I don't really
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: mind not flying first class. I do care more about
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: having a nice hotel, and Harry was like, I don't
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: give a fuck about hotel. Yeah, yeah, I don't need
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: a nice hotel whatever.
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: You've come around, No, I haven't, because I'll tell you this.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: I remember the first time I sat in first class,
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: and I remembering down in that seat and just being like,
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: this feels right.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: That's not the point I'm making, right, that's not the
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: point I'm making.
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: But then I stayed in the nice hotel and it
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: didn't it didn't move the needle.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: I'm telling you, the good hotel necessity is coming for you.
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: I don't think it is. It is I just want
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: to be home. I think I just like being like
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: I want to go home to my apartment.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: I want to be home too.
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: I just hate, like even like traveling, like on vacation.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: I'm like, here we go again.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: You know, I don't like you're that means you're depressed.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: No, I think that just means you're ever been happier.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: But also, the hotel that you stayed in isn't what
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I think that. That's not even what I'm talking about.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: When I say a nice hotel that was an expensive hotel.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: You guys didn't have the same room as me.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I went to your room.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: You did not go to my room.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: You sent a picture. It was humongy. It It was
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: the biggest room I've ever seen.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Well, yeah, wrapped around. I had two stories and it
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: wrapped buildings. You could see. Yeah, you could see the
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Green Bay and to Indiana.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: It was.
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: It was Florida ceiling windows that stretched like one hundred yards.
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: And then I would have to press this button that
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: closes the shades when I would want to masturbate viciously,
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: when I was in the mood to viciously masturbate, I
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: had to wait for the shades to come to a close.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: Why Why Because there's office buildings right across the street,
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: and I'm like, I can see them and definitely see me.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Sure, but I think that the point of being in
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: such a nice hotel is that the people who are
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: in the offices have to put up with you masturbating
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: for them.
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: I just don't. I can't risk it.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: When I'm in a room like that, I come on
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: the window. Yeah, yeah, that is a power move. Yeah,
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: you gotta go one or the other. I lock eyes
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: with some junior manager at like HSBC, and it's a
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: game of who can look away first. Yeah, why once
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: he looks looks away, that's when I come.
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I do like that, and I do think that's smart.
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: But I don't think you can go in between, like
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: you can't you want to get caught jacking off in
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: bed with someone zooming in twelve X on their phone
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: and then it's on TikTok?
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: Is that me?
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: Holy shit, that's me.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: I didn't even know I went other inverted hands.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Japanese people from the suicide.
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: I didn't even know I did that.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: That's fucking but but that's the problem with having the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: long shades too, Like by the time they fully close,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: you're not even horny.
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: Now now you don't even want to jack off. Yeah,
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: and then you got to open them back up.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: It's a twisted puppet show.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I do love those automated blinds though, very satisfying.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: If you work in one of those offices, do you
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: think that it's like the greatest joy of your work here?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Whenever you like spot uh a titter penis.
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: It's probably a good rush.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: Probably an incredible rush for your work here.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: But I do wonder, like, do you think that the
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: hotel windows are tinted or now?
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: I bet there's just glare.
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: I bet you it's but I could see like every
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: office building across the street, maybe all of them.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: So much of the glare depends on time of day
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: as well, and you seem like a kind of a
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: round the clock.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: They're doing the twenty four, eighteen, twelve and six challenge
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: every time you hit a hotel.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: Well, it's not sore anymore, so I can go again.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Who do you think sees more breast and penis the
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: guys that work in those office buildings at Deloitte or whatever,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: or your standard window washer.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: Mmmmm.
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: I've never been in a building where they have window washer,
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: so I don't know what like those guys' schedules look like.
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: Are they washing weekly or is it like a yearly
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: type thing.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: They're probably working every day of the of a year,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: or you know, they probably have a full work schedule.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: But building to building, it's probably once maybe twice a year.
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: I feel like you would you got to know when
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: those guys are coming and you see the fucking.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: They just they don't they just drop drop down into
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: your window and the.
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: Ropes, yeah, dangling from the ceiling.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: You just say two feet getting lowered.
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: I mean, I bet those guys see a lot of people.
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: I have seen like videos online at people being like
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: I was just changing in my room in the window
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: washer just like appeared.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: And they they can't go anywhere now I gotta wash.
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: The window windows not clean?
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: Where they? What are they going to do? Skip the window?
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: Their jobs online?
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: What are they going to not?
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Drink? Off? Guys? I watched the first episode of season
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: three of Tires. Oh have you watched any of it?
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: I haven't yet, but it is very good.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: So fucking funny. Yeah, it's so much funnier than last season.
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what Tyler was saying. It's the best season.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: It's crazy. Gerbon is hysterical, Shane is. Shane's acting is
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: very subtle. Yeah, yeah, he just does like a slight
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: eyebrow raise. He's gotten mastered these tiny, like facial things
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: that make me realize I overact in a big way.
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: Well, I think it depends on the character. But I
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: don't think you overacted in your in your scenes.
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: It was close.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: No, it's close.
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: You're playing a guy on coke.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Fun it's a big character too.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I started watching and I got so much anxiety about
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: it that I had to skip to the last episode
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: to see how it ended. What. Yeah, I had to
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: jump ahead read the last of the book.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: That's crazy. That's not Uh, that's not how you're supposed
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: to watch it.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Isn't that what you do with books and movies?
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: No, I mean Pat McAfee's album. I listened to the
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: whole thing straight through.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I know you, I know you have the Wikipedia and
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: looked up the synopsis of song eighteen.
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, I ricked my phone so there was no distraction,
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: so nould text you yeah, wait till you get to
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: see Yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: What kind of music is it?
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Country?
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: Country? He's a he's doing jelly roll. Oh, It's like
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: it's like the exact same type of music as jelly roll,
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: but way worse.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Let him live out his fantasy.
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: Bro, I've been broke, no joke? But does he say?
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: He's like, that's literally a Bob Dylan lyric.
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: He's like, I've been broke, no joke. I'm talking pennies
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: and dimes. It's like, bro, what is this.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: You're on?
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: ESPN can't be making songs like that.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: It is funny that they did have to fire like
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: a lot of people at ESPN to keep them there
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: and then it's I've been broke, no joke. But you
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: also have to be a master of making fun of
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: him if you want to make fun of him like
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: he's He's it's a make fun of a bull album.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: But at the same time, you gotta fucking let him
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: go for his dreams.
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, of course.
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't really have a problem with people making
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: passion projects.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: Yeah that is, if it is a passion project, well
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: what else would it have been? He got the call?
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: You think he got paid more money for his album
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: than what he's isn't he on like a fifty million
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: dollar contract? Sixty?
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: It's like sixty.
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: I thought it was more, But.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: That's just I think that's probably just from ESPN.
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I don't know. I don't if
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: it was a passion project, good for him, but I
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: feel like it was probably for money. Quick buck. I
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: wonder her quick turnaround? Did you ever watch be? This
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: whole time has been like, secretly I wish I was
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: a country a country star.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Well, I think that he's the kind of guy who's
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: been successful at so many things that he's like, why
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: not try to be successful at something else. He's like
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: doing wrestling and like he's like a great three point
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: shooter and was in the NFL, and like fucking is
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: has monopolized ESPN, Like he's he's like, let's get the
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: call too.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: Cur of the glazing right now is add of damn
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: near out of control, just listing off all of his accomplishments.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: You're going with the like level one edge lord internet
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: take of just being like he fucking and it sucks too, Bro.
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: The album is objectively terrible. You Yeah, I listened to
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: do what. I listened on the flight to Tampa.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: You hate listen? Yeah?
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: I was because I was like I when he put
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: it out, I thought it was going to be an
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: audio book, okay, And then I was like, there's no
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: way it's actually an album. And then I listened and
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: it was actually an album. What does he say is
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: like I'm they say, I'm maga. It don't matter.
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: You keep saying, you keep saying, what does he say?
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: We haven't listened to it.
- 1:10:26Speaker 5: And definitely has listened, did you? Yeah? You one hundred
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: percent have listened.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I downloaded it on multiple platforms exactly to support the arts.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I just wanted to support the arts.
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: I got no problem with Pat I like his show.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: No, no, this is going to get to him. I'm
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: going to make sure this comes across his desk. And
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I just know that if you saw him in person,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: you'd be like, go, yeah, of course I bumped your ship.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: That's how I am, and I will always be that way.
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: I'm a spineless coward.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: So you're telling me that on a flight to Florida
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: you hateless. You turned down and thought negatively about the
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: mushroom ravioli while hate listening to a Pat McAfee album,
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: And yet you think travel has just gone to hell.
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: Yes, the mushroom ravioli.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: You assaulted your senses the mushroom. Why am I having
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: a bad time?
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: The mushroom ravioli thing was not as big of a
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: deal as it was. I told you that was all internal,
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: but I was also I was ready for it, Like
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: I'm so used to Delta having these weird obscure meals,
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: so I was prepared for mushroom ravioli.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: You say it was all internal as opposed to what, Well,
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: you're Pat McFee. You were like turning to the guy
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: to your right and being like you got to listen
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: to how much this sucks?
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: Well, no, I mean like, I'm not I'm not looking
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: at the flight attendant being like, are you fucking serious
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: with mushroom Ravioli? Yeah, yeah, I couldn't do what where's
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: the pizza?
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Chuck cheese ass t.
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm never gonna say that, where's the pizza? I
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: didn't listen to Pat mcfee's whole album either, I skimmed.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: I've started to get Delta lounge goggles.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you don'tn't go anymore? Is that what you mean?
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: You don't go? You skip it?
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: No, I mean I've convinced myself I'm going to meet
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: my wife in the Delta lounge. So every woman in
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: there looks way more attractive than they actually are.
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: I mean it's possible.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: What are the criteria that make you think that this
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: would be a suitable woman?
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: Think about who's in Adelta Lounge one. She's a Delta flyer,
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: So I mean I I could more than like political ideology, religion,
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: choice of airline is more matters. More is from a
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: compatibility standpoint to me than those other things.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Because you don't have to use one of your international
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: upgrades on her, like you guys get twice as many
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: international upgrades as a couple because you both have status.
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: You also don't want her going to Newark while you're
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: going to the Guardia.
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: That's that. It's that, it's so many things. I mean,
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: I I couldn't date a United flyer. I certainly couldn't
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: date an American flyer.
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: And I certainly couldn't. I couldn't date someone who was like,
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: I just choose the cheapest one.
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: I use Expedia, go to hell. All my tickets are
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: Barkbooks through a third party app. Well, you must tell
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: you guys about my price line thing, would you like to? No? No, continue?
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: No, no, no, I want to We're going to get to
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: the price side thing.
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: We'll get there.
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: But yeah, that and then she's she's a she's a
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: Delta flyer. She's a probably a hard working individual.
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: Who probably has an AX, flying.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: A lot for work. I'm assuming a lot of the.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Time, achieving, Yeah, driven back to a goal.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: Knows has an airport routine, So she's probably type A.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: She gets to the airport early, punctual, you know.
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: Travels a lot, goes well with your schedule, Yeah, travel
- 1:13:58Speaker 5: a lot.
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: Yeah, all that sort of self selects for me. Someone who, yeah, is.
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: An opposed to mushroom RAVIOLI.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: Vegan my force strong armed into being a vegetarian. Yeah,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I'm rooting for it. Have you have you ever made
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: an approach?
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: I spoke to someone recently.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Really, yeah, what was the cold open?
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: Do you play golf? She was wearing a shinnacock coat,
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: like a jacket that had a shinnacock emblem on it.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Did you examine her fingers beforehand?
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: Covered in callouses, pock marked, scabby.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I didn't know if she had a wedding ring or
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: if you check.
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: For Oh no, no I don't. She didn't you checked,
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: And she immediately was like, yeah, I'm off actually going
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: to play golf now.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: And then.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: She was off on it like a golf trip with
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: some girlfriends of her. She's a four handicap.
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: What Yeah, you must have been a wrecked it's been
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: a wrecked hearing that.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I was. I was a wrecked woods Uh. But
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: we talked for a little bit and then she flew
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: and then she DMed me and was like, you know,
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: I didn't know you were. She was like eighty eight
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: of my friends for all of you.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Damn.
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: She was like, you told me you like play golf.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: For fun, and then we didn't talk anymore. I don't know,
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: it just didn't It wasn't going anywhere.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: You'll see her again, maybe you'll probably show her again.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: She's really nice.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: She sounds beautiful, she was lovely.
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: Stunning, Yeah, she stunning.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: She sounds like. Yeah, she sounds like which one was
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Helen of Troy and which one was the one with
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: the scars on her face or Helen of Troy has
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: the cars?
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: Yeah, and her sister's Clademnestra.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I didn't even know that there was a sister in
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: the picture.
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: I don't know who any of these people are.
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: Clademnestra, claviculum Neestra, Clydemnestra was the wife of Agamemnon, who
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: killed him when he got home.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: See, I didn't know the daughter. I didn't know the
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: part about the sacrifice of the daughter.

- 1:19:10Speaker 1: happened to didn't you didn't tell us the Priceline story?
- 1:19:13Speaker 5: Oh yeah, Priceline. I had a flight. This is crazy.
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: So I was I had to go to a wedding
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: a couple of weeks ago, and I had a flight
- 1:19:19Speaker 5: and the flight no, and the flight got canceled, and
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: then I rebooked a flight via Priceline. It was the
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: only option. And then that flight got canceled as well.
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: And then instead of refunding me or giving me any option,
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: they rebooked me for a This was on Thursday night.
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: They rebooked me for a flight on Monday morning and
- 1:19:39Speaker 5: would not allow me to cancel it. Jet Blue wouldn't
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: love it was jet Blue. Unfortunately, jet Blue wouldn't allow
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: me to cancel it. Price Line wouldn't allow me to
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: cancel it. And I was like, this is like, you
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: just booked me a trip for like a completely different
- 1:19:50Speaker 5: Like in what world would that work?
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know why you're surprised. It's like
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: you're using coupons to book flight.
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: Flight cancelation is almost one hundred percent refund guaranteed, not
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: through light, not.
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: Through price Line. You know, you might as well have
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: spun a wheel and be like, where do you want
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: me to go? Now?
- 1:20:08Speaker 5: I've canceled a lot of flights through Priceline. They also
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: usually have the twenty four hour free cancelation policy.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: That's the price of the free casino is a price
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Line flight? Yeah?
- 1:20:17Speaker 5: Yeah, Anyways, they refuse my refund, I go to I'm
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: it was like three hundred bucks, So I'm like, I
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: want to get this money back. I'm calling them. It's
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: all AI. Everything is AI. You can't talk to a
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: real person.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: It's crazy because they'll even make the AI have an
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Indian action, so you think you're talking to a real person.
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: It truly is like it should be illegal, Like, bro,
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: you should not your entire customer service should not be
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: legally allowed to be AI.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: It's cool loose, isn't is Delta?
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: Of course?
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: Delta is amazing.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: It is amazing, and I think that's my problem is
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: I think I've been spoiled with Delta's customer service, assuming
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: that Priceline would even be in the same galley. It
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: was like, clearly a mistake. So I tweeted them, and
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: then I tweet DM them Hello, all caps, no response,
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: all caps, dude.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Delta's customer service is like what Mindy Kaling and Jim
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: show in the office when they're like trying to sell
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: paper to some guy. Oh yeah, like check this out
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: and he calls and she's like, hello, dunder myth Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: how can I fix your Delta flight today?
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: Yeah? It really is. They're unbelievable. So I get so
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: they I'm going I call them. They say, we have
- 1:21:34Speaker 5: a weight where you're in the queue. We'll call you back.
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: They don't even give you an option to wait. They
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: just hang up the phone. We'll call you.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Back where Delta. They'll give you the option. They can
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: say you could stay, we could talk to you.
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: I want to keep that. I want I'd prefer to
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: stay and wait.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: And yeah, talk to a person.
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: What kind of weights do you get on Delta when
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: you call?
- 1:21:53Speaker 5: None?
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: Never more than a minute?
- 1:21:55Speaker 5: No, I mean either immediate.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're you're a diamond medallion, you're in the
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: you're three point fifty five, you're on the verge of
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: three sixty.
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: Sometimes Harry will be on a phone call and they'll
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: be like, I'm sorry, I have to jump.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: To something else. I've seen you do it in the
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: same car as him, just so he couldn't talk to
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: someone exactly.
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: No shot, no shot. They have too much respect. So
- 1:22:18Speaker 5: so then they that was at like six pm. They
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: called me back at four thirty in the morning. So
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: it's obviously I'm not gonna answer that or even know
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: that happens. I'm asleep. So then you miss the call.
- 1:22:29Speaker 5: Then you call back, same exact thing. You're now you
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: gotta wait the entire day for them. At this point,
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: we're getting closer and closer to like, I'm gonna get
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: charged for this flight. So then I comment on their
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: Instagram page and I say, please respond to my DM
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: or I will be getting the dot involved always, I.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: Mean, bro.
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: Within an hour, there email me and they say, you're
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: You're post on social media made its way to our
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: executive's office and we are issuing a full refund. And
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: then I replied, man of the people just a true
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: man of the people. And I said, I appreciate the refund,
- 1:23:11Speaker 5: but you guys got to work out your entire customer
- 1:23:13Speaker 5: service issue. I said, if I didn't have a big
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: following online, I never would have got that refund. I said,
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: I can't imagine, and how many people you guys are
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: fucking over every day stealing money from them?
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Your robin hood.
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: Yeah, no response, But it's the thought that counts You're
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: robin hood. It is pretty insane. How quickly if you
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: bring up the Dot, they like they snap into a
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: whole nother mode. I've never done that before.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I don't think it's the Dot. I think it's the
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: fact that you have a big following.
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it was the dot because I tweeted
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: at them. They didn't say anything, got like two thousand likes,
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: no reply, nothing. It was right when I dropped the
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: dot within an hour.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: You know, you can make a lot of money on
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: like doing an ad on your social media.
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, of course I don't do that.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Right exactly, Like, you could probably make too much of this.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: You could make like five of what you're like. You're
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: like you're you'll only use your social media to try
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: to get four hundred dollars back instead of using your
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: social media to try to make you know.
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: It's not all about the money for me.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: But it literally is all about the money.
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: And get the call. I didn't get the call like
- 1:24:19Speaker 5: you guys did.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: It is about the money.
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: Now, it's not.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: It's all love of the game.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Just because you want them to fix their customer service
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: at price Line because you bought William Shatner's not doing
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: a good enough job.
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly. Well, I wanted my money back, obviously, That's.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: What it was all about. The money. That's what it was.
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: That's what it was all for. But I figured, hey,
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: I've got this opportunity to speak to the highest executives
- 1:24:40Speaker 5: at the Priceline, which it definitely was not, and I said,
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: let me use that and do good.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: You need to go to the price Line offices and
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: talk to their board, like when an up and coming
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: singer is trying to get a record deal.
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: Yeah, you need to jump on the table, Yeah, Bobby Schmurda, Yeah,
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: you need.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: To Bobby schmurder them.
- 1:24:58Speaker 5: Yeah. I think that's a good idea, honestly.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: And just yell at them that this is not how
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: it's supposed to be, right. I just think that all
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: those sites probably had a boom and then it's like, Okay,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: there's not that many of them anymore.
- 1:25:10Speaker 5: What do you mean there's still out there, but there's.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: I mean, I don't Expedia, Kayak, I know that they exist,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: but I'm saying that it's probably dwindled. The demand for those.
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: I would imagine. I mean, their customer service is so
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: bad and they're like they literally just scam the fuck
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: out of you. It's but it is like, you can
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: get way cheaper flights on those websites, way cheaper.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you think?
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: It's also a great way to see all of the options.
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: I'll use it a lot to see all of the options,
- 1:25:41Speaker 5: and then I'll go to that airline's website and book
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: the flight.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: And by the time by the time you go back
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: to price line, they know you've already visited the site twice,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: so they're gonna jack your prices up.
- 1:25:51Speaker 5: No, that's why I'm never giving them a dollar. They'll
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: never see a dollar from me. You're a kayakman now,
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: Kayak for life, Kayak dot Com, Booking dot Com, Booking
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: dot Yeah. Oh man, all right, all right, solid episode great.
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: Great to get you brothers.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: Yeah, well.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: You guys on Thursday.
- 1:26:19Speaker 5: I'll see you guys tomorrow. Alrighty, goodbye,
