- 0:45Speaker 3: People don't like them their middle names is a rule,
- 0:48Speaker 3: but you come to like it as you get older.
- 0:50Speaker 1: It's pretty regal.
- 0:51Speaker 3: For me.
- 0:51Speaker 4: I think James William, James Christ William, Pugsley, I.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Know a guy called James williams. Oh now about that
- 0:58Speaker 3: any relation? Yeah?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Last night we were doing my gaming party with the
- 1:06Speaker 5: girl that I do it with, Ellie. Her name is Brooke,
- 1:09Speaker 5: and then these two people came in for an interview.
- 1:10Speaker 5: One was called Brook and one was called Ellie. So
- 1:13Speaker 5: that was extremely confusing for all of us, would have
- 1:16Speaker 5: been it was, so we just ended it, just told
- 1:18Speaker 5: to leave it.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Was great you getting guests on there.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Man, thanks man, Yeah, Man, No Jase today he's got
- 1:26Speaker 5: a POOI virus.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I think he's drilling the boy.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Is that actually a.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:34Speaker 1: But the good news about that is he shot.
- 1:35Speaker 3: But how does he know? It would be my question
- 1:37Speaker 3: because he would have been wiping his as anos. I
- 1:41Speaker 3: guess you'd hear it.
- 1:43Speaker 1: All I know was all I know is he was
- 1:44Speaker 1: up all night.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Apparently he's like, well, you know the rules, You're.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Only I don't care what happened. I was actually talking
- 1:53Speaker 1: about it runs down the crack.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Yeah. I was swet about him last night about that.
- 1:57Speaker 3: At the premiere thing, I went to you.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Were talking about that?
- 2:00Speaker 3: I was talking to me. Yeah, I was to who
- 2:03Speaker 3: was that? I can't remember.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Somebody important? Had they auired?
- 2:07Speaker 3: They agreed that No. I brought it up and they
- 2:14Speaker 3: agreed it was a woman, and she said, sometimes it
- 2:16Speaker 3: needs more than that.
- 2:18Speaker 1: We all agree that the woman.
- 2:19Speaker 3: You all agree.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Standing there, like eating an order or something, you went, hey,
- 2:22Speaker 5: get a load of this. A horse, a horse, and
- 2:26Speaker 5: you're like, hey, lady, get a load of this.
- 2:31Speaker 3: That horse reminds me it was stinking too. They had
- 2:35Speaker 3: these many cheeseburgers and they stink.
- 2:37Speaker 1: You just eat them. Those are so delicious.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Yeah, they stunk too much?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Was it the one?
- 2:42Speaker 3: Not good meat? Not good meat at all? You can
- 2:45Speaker 3: smell it a long way away.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yes, no, no, no, I didn't joke from me man Field. Yeah,
- 2:52Speaker 1: it wasn't that more.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Damn.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I when I went to this TV premier, I ate
- 2:56Speaker 1: like five of those.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yeah, they had fish ones and chugen ones. I should
- 2:59Speaker 3: have had someone.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I fucked it up, you really did.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I can't go back in time now. You know what's
- 3:04Speaker 3: done is done? Man.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Yeah, what's the TV show? And you'll probably talk about
- 3:08Speaker 5: this in the old What's on TV?
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah, and also earlier I think, yeah, yeah, true?
- 3:14Speaker 1: Was it a good show where you stoked to be
- 3:15Speaker 1: a part of it?
- 3:16Speaker 3: It is a good show. Yeah. I wasn't sure what
- 3:18Speaker 3: it was going to be like, but it is definitely
- 3:21Speaker 3: worth a watch. What I really like about it, there's
- 3:23Speaker 3: lots of things. It's an easy watch like that, and
- 3:26Speaker 3: it's half an hour long and I really love that.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Can't complain, can't complain.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I'm not sure if it's going to be binging or
- 3:32Speaker 3: if it's I think it might be binge able. But
- 3:34Speaker 3: also a weekly release. They do that, so it's all
- 3:37Speaker 3: of TV three. But then I went home and I
- 3:39Speaker 3: had dreams about Lymphomer.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Of course of course she did, so, yeah, have you
- 3:44Speaker 1: booked in with a doctor?
- 3:45Speaker 3: Well, I have booked in. So I get this as
- 3:47Speaker 3: a result of me having my smelly onion armpet, which
- 3:50Speaker 3: we talked about on the show yesterday. And then somebody
- 3:54Speaker 3: texted and said, hey, I had that. I had a
- 3:57Speaker 3: smelly onion armpet and a couple of other things, and
- 4:00Speaker 3: then I went to the doctors and now I start
- 4:04Speaker 3: chemo next week.
- 4:05Speaker 1: It was stage three Lampooner.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Stage three, and I was like, oh sweet, because actually
- 4:09Speaker 3: I said to my wife after I came back from
- 4:12Speaker 3: Shape Shifter.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Did I tell you this part of the story, No.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Which is what when we were talking about shape Shifter,
- 4:18Speaker 3: which being a ship break, because I coudn't remember what
- 4:20Speaker 3: was funny about it.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Well, it ends up that you were just watching it
- 4:22Speaker 1: at home.
- 4:24Speaker 3: That was great.
- 4:25Speaker 1: You were just like I think, I didn't.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Go well, what was happening was I was getting I know,
- 4:29Speaker 3: I did talk about where I was sweeting in your
- 4:32Speaker 3: left and I cared to get my left arm down
- 4:34Speaker 3: because it stunk so much it was grossing me out.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Right, did she smell it?
- 4:39Speaker 3: Who?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Your wife?
- 4:41Speaker 3: She was in front of me, but there was a
- 4:42Speaker 3: woman behind me. I didn't know, right, But when we
- 4:44Speaker 3: got home, I put my each of my arm pets
- 4:47Speaker 3: into my wife's face and she's like, yeah, right, but
- 4:52Speaker 3: you shouldn't be able to smell yourself. No, you know
- 4:54Speaker 3: normally you're oblivious.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yes, And if you smell yourself, everybody else has already
- 4:58Speaker 4: been smelling it.
- 4:58Speaker 3: That's right. And then this this guy on the text
- 5:00Speaker 3: yesterday was saying, oh yeah, and I also had heartburn
- 5:04Speaker 3: as well, and I was like, I've been having heartburn
- 5:07Speaker 3: lately and been quite burpie. I'm not very not a
- 5:10Speaker 3: burpie individual, but I have been burpie lately. So anyway,
- 5:12Speaker 3: I booked a doctor's appointment. The first one available is
- 5:14Speaker 3: Friday week. Everybody else. The next one, so the surgery
- 5:18Speaker 3: you can pick any doctor you want, was like five
- 5:20Speaker 3: doctors here. The next one was like the twenty fifth
- 5:22Speaker 3: of July. So I've gone to the worst doctor there. Sure.
- 5:26Speaker 1: In other words, yeah, the most readily available way.
- 5:29Speaker 5: I just cannot believe how hard it is to get
- 5:31Speaker 5: a doctor's appointment, because I haven't been to the doctor
- 5:33Speaker 5: for probably two years, right, for like an appointment thing,
- 5:36Speaker 5: And I feel like two years ago it wasn't that hard,
- 5:40Speaker 5: and I feel like it's in the next The last
- 5:41Speaker 5: two year or at least my local doctor out west
- 5:43Speaker 5: that I go to wasn't very hard, I agree, And
- 5:46Speaker 5: so it's obviously real hard now.
- 5:47Speaker 3: The last guy that I went to was easy enough
- 5:52Speaker 3: to get into, but it was eighty dollars as eighty
- 5:55Speaker 3: five bucks a visit, right, which is just astronomical and
- 5:59Speaker 3: fucking new useless, right, So it's not a great Yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 3: I don't know. We were reading it yesterday, went we
- 6:04Speaker 3: and it was they were aging out. So the gps
- 6:08Speaker 3: are aging out, yeah, and retiring. Then there's not enough
- 6:11Speaker 3: new ones coming through, and then the ones that are
- 6:13Speaker 3: coming through are leaving the country because the systems under pressure.
- 6:17Speaker 3: You'd know about that pigs.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Well, the system being under pressure. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's
- 6:21Speaker 1: a pressure.
- 6:21Speaker 5: His system was massive und pressure over the weekend, a
- 6:23Speaker 5: lot of pressure after that hot burger.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yea. The Whole Archy Big Show week days from four
- 6:30Speaker 2: on Radio Hierarchy, They Big Show Podcast.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Hey Pug's question, can you help me with a dilemma?
- 6:37Speaker 5: So I've got a friend tonight, right, we're going out
- 6:39Speaker 5: for dinner.
- 6:39Speaker 3: That's awesome. Jealous monch Jesus sorry, one.
- 6:44Speaker 1: A friend tonight's coming up from Todonga to have dinner
- 6:47Speaker 1: with us.
- 6:47Speaker 5: She's pregnant, right. She has digestion issues. She throws up
- 6:51Speaker 5: three times a day already, just with the pregnancy.
- 6:53Speaker 3: It's awesome.
- 6:54Speaker 5: She's dairy free. She can't eat onions. And there's one
- 6:57Speaker 5: other thing. I can't remember what it is that she
- 6:58Speaker 5: can't eat. It's not gluten, which is good. Which cuisine
- 7:02Speaker 5: would you go to out for dinner? Because I've asked her,
- 7:05Speaker 5: I've said, hey, which one is best suited. She's like, man,
- 7:07Speaker 5: I'm sure I can usually find something anywhere. And I'm
- 7:10Speaker 5: just like, notice I didn't say this much.
- 7:12Speaker 1: It needs to be put on her. It can't be.
- 7:14Speaker 4: It can't be up to Like, I'd love to help
- 7:16Speaker 4: you with a cuisine right now. But the only person
- 7:18Speaker 4: that's really going to be able to point you in
- 7:20Speaker 4: the right direction as the person who's going to suffer.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Where did you go last time? Where'd you go last
- 7:23Speaker 3: time that you really enjoyed?
- 7:25Speaker 5: Maybe reframe with her, Oh yeah, that's not you just
- 7:28Speaker 5: dinner that I would say to her, what was the
- 7:31Speaker 5: last place restaurant you went to that? You really rephrase
- 7:33Speaker 5: the quick because what I did instead was my other
- 7:38Speaker 5: mate who's coming. I just talked to her, and I
- 7:39Speaker 5: was because he does. He works in the sort of
- 7:42Speaker 5: food industry. And he's like, here's five options. All of
- 7:45Speaker 5: them I looked at and when I don't think she
- 7:46Speaker 5: can eat that. I don't think she can eat that.
- 7:47Speaker 5: I don't think she can eat that. And he's like,
- 7:48Speaker 5: I don't care. This is about more than just her.
- 7:50Speaker 5: It's about everyone that's going, Yeah, we're going to go
- 7:52Speaker 5: to this place. It's delicious. Yeah, great, So we're going
- 7:54Speaker 5: to this career. So you gave me the option, and
- 7:56Speaker 5: after that, it's tough shit. I would not even give
- 8:00Speaker 5: a fuck.
- 8:00Speaker 4: If she leaves it to you to pack. She leaves
- 8:03Speaker 4: it to you to pack, totally right. And so she's
- 8:04Speaker 4: chill and it happens is on here, And she also
- 8:06Speaker 4: said she's chill, so she doesn't actually care. She's like,
- 8:08Speaker 4: even if I get a bowl of chips, I don't
- 8:09Speaker 4: give a ship.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I would have so much fun with that. Anyway, she's
- 8:12Speaker 3: not going to complain. Then that's great. But she starts
- 8:14Speaker 3: complaining even better.
- 8:15Speaker 1: But she won't. That's the thing. She's good chill.
- 8:17Speaker 3: As if that's true, I thought you were saying that
- 8:19Speaker 3: she was saying she's chill, but there's nothing here can eat.
- 8:24Speaker 1: No, she's very, very chill.
- 8:26Speaker 3: She's not more focused on eating properly for her pregnancy.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I don't know.
- 8:30Speaker 5: Yeah, she's like obviously came a sushi and I was like,
- 8:33Speaker 5: what about this? Places like as long as I don't
- 8:36Speaker 5: leave their salads out and stuff like that.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it is. I tell you what. When we were
- 8:40Speaker 3: when my wife was pregnant, it was a fucking ball
- 8:46Speaker 3: like right, because because it's the first one, you're worried
- 8:50Speaker 3: that everything is going to have some kind of an
- 8:53Speaker 3: effect on the baby. And as James could probably tell you,
- 8:56Speaker 3: by the time you get further along, the more kids
- 8:58Speaker 3: your hair, you don't give a ship. But because you
- 9:00Speaker 3: realize that they're made out of fucking kryptonite or they're
- 9:04Speaker 3: just amazing, and so you can have a mother who
- 9:09Speaker 3: has a heroin addict and all this sort of stuff.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Now not ideal obviously, And there's a limit to this
- 9:15Speaker 3: because there's a point where this becomes untrue. But what
- 9:21Speaker 3: the what the system is set up for is to
- 9:24Speaker 3: for the baby to suck every single good nutrient from
- 9:28Speaker 3: its host. Is a parasite, just suck everything good out
- 9:32Speaker 3: of it, and it doesn't suck in any of the
- 9:34Speaker 3: bad ship unless there is no good ship left, at
- 9:36Speaker 3: which point it will suck in the good right, the
- 9:38Speaker 3: bad stuff. Right, they're amazing, it's fucking amazing, and they
- 9:42Speaker 3: will just suck the mother dry. Yeah, so it is.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Yeah, And as someone who's like early thirties recently married forties,
- 9:53Speaker 5: it's hard to believe me single Chris, but like, no,
- 9:58Speaker 5: no me, guys, all this stuff is very scary to
- 10:01Speaker 5: think about.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it should be.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's terrified.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and you know, and what I love about it,
- 10:06Speaker 3: kis And I'm looking forward to going through this with
- 10:08Speaker 3: you when you finally you have kids. You know, everything
- 10:13Speaker 3: out the window, man, everything you love about your life
- 10:17Speaker 3: is gone.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Even my truck.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Ah, no, you probably, I mean you won't be able
- 10:22Speaker 3: to drive it obviously with a kid, but that's probably okay.
- 10:26Speaker 3: But yeah, play well went like when yeah, there's no
- 10:29Speaker 3: PlayStation small, there is no PlayStation. It's all over. It
- 10:36Speaker 3: is all over you have to find new joy, which
- 10:39Speaker 3: is not as good as the old joy because it
- 10:40Speaker 3: took you thirty odd years or forty ideas to find
- 10:44Speaker 3: the things that brought you joy. And you find new joys,
- 10:48Speaker 3: which is really the joys that you previously were like, fuck,
- 10:50Speaker 3: that's not a joy. This is a joy and those
- 10:53Speaker 3: joys are called drinking. And that's over now, right.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Well, I'm just if we could wrap things up to
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna go get.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Just say it's so rewarding being a parent.
- 11:06Speaker 1: It's fucking bullshit. Because half the people I meet like, Yo,
- 11:08Speaker 1: you gotta have kids.
- 11:09Speaker 3: It's great.
- 11:09Speaker 1: The other half and literally like, don't have kids. As
- 11:11Speaker 1: a joke, Yeah, is it a joke.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I'm not sure it's a joke.
- 11:14Speaker 1: It comes from a place of truth.
- 11:16Speaker 3: There was a period, there was a period where I
- 11:19Speaker 3: was one hundred percent serious about that. Yeah, I was like, what,
- 11:23Speaker 3: why are people having kids? And what now?
- 11:26Speaker 2: I love?
- 11:26Speaker 3: Well, for me, it was sort of well, it was
- 11:28Speaker 3: I had nothing to do with me but between two
- 11:30Speaker 3: and three and it was just an ABBS for a
- 11:33Speaker 3: year and we were working together then yeah, absolutely, and
- 11:36Speaker 3: it was a fucking out and out night and I
- 11:39Speaker 3: loved it. And now I love it because on the
- 11:40Speaker 3: other side of it, yeah, it's great, it's awesome, and
- 11:43Speaker 3: it is worth doing, but it's a lot. It's parents
- 11:46Speaker 3: talk and things like, oh, just have another one. It's
- 11:48Speaker 3: only a few years. Like, it's only a few years,
- 11:49Speaker 3: and then it's worth it because I'll have a friend
- 11:51Speaker 3: when it's never I never understood it because it's okay,
- 11:55Speaker 3: So I write three years of my life off so
- 11:58Speaker 3: that this one who's a night you can have another
- 12:00Speaker 3: one that's a nightmare and they can be friends. So
- 12:03Speaker 3: rather than having one nightmare, I have two nightmares. Hell yeah, man,
- 12:05Speaker 3: that's such a good idea. But she is not a
- 12:08Speaker 3: nightmare anymore. It's the best.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Well, I met her quite a few times, and it's
- 12:11Speaker 5: very hard for me to patchure that. But you'd come
- 12:13Speaker 5: in and say something and just be like and then
- 12:15Speaker 5: Jason would just be like, yeah, in the face of
- 12:18Speaker 5: a man who's.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Gone through it four times, oh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 3: But then the other thing is that people don't It's
- 12:25Speaker 3: like when you've got a mate that's got a missus
- 12:27Speaker 3: who is just constantly complaining about his missus. Yeah you
- 12:31Speaker 3: know what I mean, and they never come and tell
- 12:32Speaker 3: you any of the good stuff. So when I was younger,
- 12:34Speaker 3: I was like, oven a, missus must be terrible, but
- 12:36Speaker 3: they never tell you about the good stuff.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, there.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Was like, oh, man, Zach is that and the other.
- 12:40Speaker 3: And it's the same. I think with that parenting stuff.
- 12:43Speaker 3: It's like you moan about it, but now I don't
- 12:45Speaker 3: mean at all because I love it.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Well you were saying off, Yeah right, Hey.
- 12:50Speaker 5: Listen to the Hudarky Big Show for it or seven
- 12:52Speaker 5: every weekday on Darky.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Also check out pugs Man. Yeah, would you get around
- 12:58Speaker 1: pugs Man?
- 12:59Speaker 3: So good? Call me by my name, call me.
- 13:03Speaker 1: By your name, and I'll call you mine.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Puxa.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I love that movie.
- 13:06Speaker 3: I haven't seen it. I know what you're talking about.
- 13:09Speaker 3: H mm hmm.
