A's Rally to Beat Twins 7-4 | Oakland Athletics News
The Oakland Athletics stunned the Minnesota Twins with a dramatic seventh-inning surge, rallying from a three-run deficit to win 7-4. After Twins’ early homers by Brooks Lee, Trevor Larnach, and Alex Culpepper gave them a 3-0 lead, the A’s answered with a four-run sixth inning fueled by Jeff McNeil’s double, Alika Williams’ triple, and Darell Hernaiz’s single. Brent Butler capped the comeback with his 12th home run of the season in the seventh, sealing the victory as the A’s offense exploded in the middle innings to turn the tide.
