East Helena’s Big 250 Fireworks | Butte News
East Helena lit up the sky with a massive, historic fireworks display to celebrate America’s 250th birthday — launching from a slag pile for a truly unique spectacle. The celebration, which began two weeks prior, was fueled by a community effort: Town Pump donated $30,000, matched by $87,000 from donors through the Prickly Peak Community Celebration group. Together, they raised over $117,000 to deliver a dazzling show that proves what happens when a town pulls together for a shared milestone.
