Arcata’s launching a new housing rehab program to help homeowners tackle repairs with low-interest loans—prioritizing health and safety upgrades. Only 3-4 families will be selected in this pilot, with two loan options: a standard 1.5% amortized loan for incomes up to 80% of median, or a 15-year deferred payment loan at 1.5% for those at or below 60%.
